Monday night in Citrus Heights turned tense when a masked suspect fired shots into the air before storming into an apartment complex near Auburn Oaks Court. Police, including SWAT, responded to a standoff after the suspect entered a known residence — reportedly empty at the time — while his family pleaded with him to surrender on the phone.
