- 0:24Speaker 1: It is time to leave your worries outside and laugh
- 0:29Speaker 1: with us inside the treehouse. I'm Daniel Malley along with
- 0:32Speaker 1: Tree Trinholm and Raj Sharma on Monday, March seventeenth, twenty
- 0:38Speaker 1: twenty five. Happy Saint Patrick's Day everyone. I will not
- 0:45Speaker 1: bludgeon you with a terrible Irish accent today, just just
- 0:49Speaker 1: that little bit. That's all I'm gonna do. But it
- 0:54Speaker 1: is It is difficult to contain my excitement. Not because
- 0:57Speaker 1: of the holiday, even though it is one of my
- 0:59Speaker 1: favorite holiday to celebrate Saint Patrick's Day. No, no, what
- 1:04Speaker 1: is it, Tray.
- 1:04Speaker 2: I'm just happy you're sober.
- 1:10Speaker 1: Shows how little you know.
- 1:12Speaker 2: Are the Irish.
- 1:13Speaker 3: Ever, it's just.
- 1:16Speaker 1: A constant cycle.
- 1:19Speaker 2: I've been to Ireland.
- 1:20Speaker 1: It's very it's varying degrees of not sober. Really. No,
- 1:25Speaker 1: but I am excited, not because it's Saint Patrick's Day.
- 1:28Speaker 1: But I'm excited to celebrate a different culture. But it
- 1:34Speaker 1: may not be in the most positive way. What I'm
- 1:37Speaker 1: talking about is last week. Last week we had a
- 1:39Speaker 1: very important discussion about a very serious incident in the Skies.
- 1:43Speaker 1: There's been lots of incidents in the Skies lately, and
- 1:48Speaker 1: none has stuck with me or on me quite as
- 1:53Speaker 1: much as the Air India issue last week where on
- 2:01Speaker 1: an Air India flight from Chicago to Delhi it had
- 2:05Speaker 1: to turn around five hours into the flight. They had
- 2:08Speaker 1: to turn around because eleven of the twelve toilets got
- 2:12Speaker 1: clogged up. And it's a very scary thing when you're
- 2:16Speaker 1: in the middle of a flight, international flight, you're you know,
- 2:21Speaker 1: really high up and there's only one working toilet. And
- 2:27Speaker 1: when these major emergency incidents occur, one of the first
- 2:32Speaker 1: things that happens is the FAA is notified. And when
- 2:36Speaker 1: the FAA is notified, what do they do? But they
- 2:38Speaker 1: started investigating and they dig up everything they can, and
- 2:42Speaker 1: that includes making sure they listen to the chatter between
- 2:48Speaker 1: air traffic control and the cockpit of the plane that's
- 2:53Speaker 1: having the issue. Right. Yeah, Well, luckily enough time has
- 2:57Speaker 1: passed and the investigation has gone far enough to where
- 3:01Speaker 1: that Air India flight that had its toilets clogged on
- 3:05Speaker 1: the way to Delhi, we have the recording from the
- 3:10Speaker 1: air traffic controller and the cockpit of the Air India
- 3:13Speaker 1: flight to share with you today.
- 3:15Speaker 4: Okay, I haven't heard this before.
- 3:18Speaker 1: That's right, this is this is breaking news inside the treehouse,
- 3:23Speaker 1: the cockpit voice recorder between the Air India flight with
- 3:26Speaker 1: the clogged toilets and Air Traffic Control.
- 3:32Speaker 5: Air India, this is Chicago Tower. Go ahead.
- 3:35Speaker 6: We need to declare.
- 3:38Speaker 5: An emergency.
- 3:39Speaker 7: What's wrong because we are having problem summing problem on
- 3:45Speaker 7: a quane.
- 3:46Speaker 6: Yeah, plumbing problem.
- 3:48Speaker 5: Why would plumbing problems be an emergency? Because an emergency? Okay,
- 4:01Speaker 5: India double dues. We'll clear runway number two so you
- 4:04Speaker 5: can have a nice clean landing.
- 4:06Speaker 6: Really, you better have clean and POM. We are going
- 4:09Speaker 6: to leave.
- 4:10Speaker 5: Mark Indian air flight double dues. A clear number of
- 4:13Speaker 5: souls on board?
- 4:16Speaker 6: Nobody on this side has anymore.
- 4:26Speaker 2: Whoever did this? You're a dick.
- 4:30Speaker 1: Oh my goodness that this is such a tragedy in
- 4:36Speaker 1: the sky. Oh wow, I needed a moment to catch
- 4:45Speaker 1: my breath. That's not all there.
- 4:49Speaker 6: Out.
- 4:51Speaker 5: Okay, India double dues. We'll clear runway number two so
- 4:54Speaker 5: you can have a nice clean landing.
- 4:57Speaker 6: You better have clean and POM.
- 4:59Speaker 5: We are going mark Indian air flight double dues. Declare
- 5:04Speaker 5: number of souls on board?
- 5:06Speaker 6: Nobody on this side has anymore.
- 5:13Speaker 5: Indian Air Flight double dues. One more question. My computer
- 5:16Speaker 5: is freezing up a little any suggestions.
- 5:25Speaker 6: Have you tried stopping it?
- 5:29Speaker 2: I'm leaving the show. I quit.
- 5:37Speaker 1: Why because because it's it's it's a tinge racist, or
- 5:40Speaker 1: or because it can only go down from here?
- 5:44Speaker 2: No, because I got to be a pilot. I could
- 5:50Speaker 2: answer all those questions.

- 8:05Speaker 1: Treehouse Show now. I'm Daniel Malley along with Trey Trenholm
- 8:08Speaker 1: and Raj Sharma. If you missed the air traffic control
- 8:13Speaker 1: cockpit chatter from the Air India flight that had all
- 8:16Speaker 1: the clogged toilets last week. Don't worry, we're gonna We're
- 8:21Speaker 1: gonna pull that thing out later on again today, So
- 8:23Speaker 1: you've got that to look forward to. For now, though,
- 8:28Speaker 1: I have excellent news and I'm very excited to share
- 8:31Speaker 1: with you guys, and that is it appears wait, hang on,
- 8:37Speaker 1: I just brain fort it great news. It appears all
- 8:39Speaker 1: of the problems in the state of Texas have been
- 8:42Speaker 1: solved because on the docket for this year's session, the
- 8:46Speaker 1: Texas Legislature will introduce a bill to not only rename
- 8:51Speaker 1: the New York Strip to the Texas Strip, but they're
- 8:54Speaker 1: finally going to put a stop to the furry invasion
- 8:56Speaker 1: in Texas. That bill would make it illegal for student
- 9:00Speaker 1: dress up as non humans, unless, of course, it's a
- 9:04Speaker 1: day where it's accepted, like Halloween. So congratulations everyone, we
- 9:10Speaker 1: did it. Mh problem in the state of Texas has
- 9:13Speaker 1: been solved. We're now going to rename the New York
- 9:16Speaker 1: Strip to the Texas Stript and no more college kids
- 9:19Speaker 1: dressing up as furries. And I want to I want
- 9:26Speaker 1: to credit Daniel Cook from cookdf W Roofing and Restoration
- 9:30Speaker 1: uh cookdfw dot com for sending along the furry story,
- 9:35Speaker 1: and I'd like to quote him as he said, what
- 9:38Speaker 1: is this world coming to?
- 9:43Speaker 3: So no more fraternity hazing?
- 9:48Speaker 2: Yeah, there's it's.
- 9:48Speaker 1: Gonna be an interesting sweeping bill. But yeah, so you
- 9:54Speaker 1: did have the This is called the Furries Act. It's
- 9:57Speaker 1: been filed by Texas law makers targeting non human student
- 10:01Speaker 1: behavior in schools because apparently it was causing such a
- 10:06Speaker 1: huge problem that they felt the need to write a
- 10:10Speaker 1: bill which aims to ban students from non human behavior,
- 10:14Speaker 1: with exceptions for days designated for costumes like Halloween. The uh,
- 10:21Speaker 1: I swear to god, this sounds like I'm making this up,
- 10:23Speaker 1: but this is from This is from the Austin affiliate
- 10:27Speaker 1: the Austin NBC affiliate k CE N okay from k
- 10:34Speaker 1: c EN and Austin. The Forbidding Unlawful Representation of role
- 10:39Speaker 1: Playing in Education, or Furres Act, filed by state Representative
- 10:45Speaker 1: Stan Gerty's, would prohibit any non human behavior by a student,
- 10:49Speaker 1: including presenting him or herself on days other than exempt
- 10:53Speaker 1: days as anything other than a human being. The law
- 10:59Speaker 1: would allow for exempt days like Halloween and other school
- 11:02Speaker 1: dress up days.
- 11:02Speaker 3: Oh okay.
- 11:04Speaker 1: The law goes on to define non human behavior as
- 11:06Speaker 1: any type of behavior or accessory displayed by a student
- 11:10Speaker 1: in a school district other than behaviors or accessories typically
- 11:14Speaker 1: displayed by a member of the Homo sapiens species. Someone's
- 11:18Speaker 1: going to be a field day without some of the examples given.
- 11:26Speaker 1: Using a litter box for the passing of stool, urine,
- 11:28Speaker 1: or other human byproducts, using fur other than naturally occurring
- 11:36Speaker 1: using fur other than naturally occurring human hair, or a
- 11:39Speaker 1: wig made to look like human hair, artificial animal like ears,
- 11:44Speaker 1: other physiological features that have not historically been assigned to
- 11:47Speaker 1: the human race, the remains of natural biological development. Students
- 11:51Speaker 1: who bark, meow, hiss, or make other animal noises that
- 11:54Speaker 1: are not human speech, and licking oneself or others for
- 11:58Speaker 1: the purpose of grooming or maintenance. A hearing has not
- 12:01Speaker 1: yet been set for this landmark legislation.
- 12:04Speaker 13: Well, Greg Abbott is screwed. He hisses, and he I
- 12:11Speaker 13: think he wheels. I don't know how it works.
- 12:13Speaker 1: Uh, I think he use the litter box that has Now,
- 12:17Speaker 1: that's that's just impoor taste. Oh I Trey, help me.
- 12:23Speaker 1: You're you're our political expert inside the treehouse. Help me
- 12:27Speaker 1: understand this. Other than other than the thoughts in my brain,
- 12:31Speaker 1: which are.
- 12:32Speaker 4: Just you just gave the the whoever put this bill for.
- 12:39Speaker 4: First of all, bills are like or like lawsuits. Anyone
- 12:42Speaker 4: can file one for any reason. And the amount of
- 12:47Speaker 4: press this is getting this. This guy's an Austin area Rep.
- 12:52Speaker 4: He got what he wanted.
- 12:55Speaker 1: Is this one of those bills that's not a serious bill?
- 12:58Speaker 1: This is one of those bills I saw in a
- 13:00Speaker 1: different state they had done something similar where I think
- 13:03Speaker 1: it was going to make masturbation illegal in another state.
- 13:06Speaker 1: But basically saying I'm authoring and submitting this bill to
- 13:12Speaker 1: the state legislature, not because I think it needs to happen,
- 13:15Speaker 1: but to try to call out some sort of craziness
- 13:18Speaker 1: from the other side.
- 13:20Speaker 2: That are are are just it got his name out,
- 13:23Speaker 2: no name Rep.
- 13:24Speaker 4: That, and all of a sudden, now he's getting at
- 13:26Speaker 4: least statewide attention, if not national.
- 13:28Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 13:29Speaker 1: Yeah, this this makes me think.
- 13:31Speaker 2: Of now the litter box thing. I'm okay with, you know,
- 13:36Speaker 2: if that, if that's really going on. Yeah.
- 13:39Speaker 4: But also in this this, in my opinion, goes to
- 13:41Speaker 4: a larger problem, which is, and this is both sides
- 13:47Speaker 4: every and any argument, the wack of doodles are the
- 13:51Speaker 4: ones who get the most attention. Like, you know, there
- 13:55Speaker 4: there is a woman on TikTok who son, you know
- 13:59Speaker 4: I identifies as a cat. Yes, and she gets a
- 14:03Speaker 4: lot of attention. So this is the the other side
- 14:06Speaker 4: of that where you know, it's just the extremes are
- 14:09Speaker 4: the ones getting all the attention?
- 14:11Speaker 13: Yes, But can't you see how that could join because
- 14:14Speaker 13: her son identifies as a cat and then there's a
- 14:17Speaker 13: litter box, Both of those guys could come come together.
- 14:23Speaker 2: If you both time.
- 14:31Speaker 4: I'm just saying, if the if there is a school
- 14:34Speaker 4: that that is having a problem of students crapping in letterboxes,
- 14:38Speaker 4: that you know what, that probably does need to be addressed.
- 14:41Speaker 4: I think the school board, local school board could probably
- 14:43Speaker 4: get it done. But if this is a trend, let's
- 14:49Speaker 4: you know, maybe this is something. Maybe there's something we've
- 14:51Speaker 4: been missing, because now what.
- 14:52Speaker 13: I'm saying, maybe they're onto something we don't. None of
- 14:56Speaker 13: us have kids, so maybe crapping in a litter box
- 14:59Speaker 13: is like kind of a thing.
- 15:02Speaker 1: It might show you got a lot of riz if
- 15:03Speaker 1: you go on a box. I have no idea. I
- 15:07Speaker 1: don't know if I've ever felt more out of touch
- 15:09Speaker 1: with the younger generations that I do right now.
- 15:12Speaker 14: Then when you said riz absolutely, but I mean when
- 15:16Speaker 14: you hear about ridiculous bills such as this Furries Act
- 15:21Speaker 14: that is going.
- 15:21Speaker 1: To be submitted for the next Texas legislature, the Anti
- 15:24Speaker 1: Furries Act. For being accurate, is I no longer can
- 15:29Speaker 1: tell the difference between a bill being submitted out of
- 15:33Speaker 1: seriousness because someone truly feels that there's a furry invasion
- 15:37Speaker 1: on college campuses and they're sick of students dying and
- 15:41Speaker 1: choking on litter dust in boxes, or there's a licking
- 15:46Speaker 1: problem in high schools and community college that needs to
- 15:49Speaker 1: be addressed, and I and the difference between that serious
- 15:55Speaker 1: bill versus a non serious bill that's being submitted to
- 15:59Speaker 1: show the ridiculous of someone's argument, I can no longer
- 16:02Speaker 1: tell the difference, which is kind of the big problem.
- 16:04Speaker 1: If I can't tell the difference between the two, we
- 16:07Speaker 1: got a huge effory problem.
- 16:09Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, I went to Texas State, so we
- 16:13Speaker 3: just had heartworm. You're the problem.

- 17:20Speaker 1: On Monday, March seventeenth, twenty twenty five, Happy Saint Patrick's Day. Everyone.
- 17:28Speaker 1: There is huge news coming out of Utah and huge
- 17:33Speaker 1: news out of college athletics. A Utah teen is making
- 17:41Speaker 1: history one corn hall toss at a time. Yes, because
- 17:48Speaker 1: he has turned the game into a way to help
- 17:51Speaker 1: pay for college. Yes, you heard that right. A Utah
- 17:56Speaker 1: teen has become the first ever to get a collegiate
- 18:00Speaker 1: cornhole scholarship. Congratulations. Eighteen year old Luke Herbert of Ogden, Utah,
- 18:10Speaker 1: is the first in the state to earn a collegiate
- 18:13Speaker 1: cornhole scholarship.
- 18:18Speaker 2: To what school does it say?
- 18:20Speaker 1: Oh, it says hard not that soft Landings because you
- 18:27Speaker 1: know Texas State. Oh you know, Actually, I think the
- 18:36Speaker 1: way this story reads, I can do it a little
- 18:39Speaker 1: bit more justice. I think I could do it a
- 18:41Speaker 1: little more justice if I give it more of a
- 18:45Speaker 1: I don't know documentary style read So here we go.
- 18:49Speaker 1: A Utah team is making history, one cornhole toss at
- 18:54Speaker 1: a time, turning the game into a way to help
- 18:56Speaker 1: pay for college. Eighteen year old Luke Herbert of Ogden, Utah,
- 19:01Speaker 1: is the first in the state to earn a collegiate
- 19:04Speaker 1: cornhole scholarship. The Bonneville High School grad moved to South
- 19:07Speaker 1: Carolina in January after committing to play for a Winthrop
- 19:11Speaker 1: University's cornhole team. He picked up the hobby about four
- 19:15Speaker 1: years ago on a family camping trip. They quickly developed
- 19:19Speaker 1: into a passion for both him and his father, d
- 19:23Speaker 1: Luke said, we saw this cornhole tournament on Facebook, and
- 19:27Speaker 1: we said, why not, let's go do it. We ended
- 19:30Speaker 1: up winning the whole thing. After playing in various tournaments,
- 19:34Speaker 1: Luke was eventually recruited at the collegiate level. But Luke's
- 19:39Speaker 1: success stems from struggle. Playing cornhole wasn't always his goal.
- 19:46Speaker 1: He said, college baseball was always what he was looking towards,
- 19:50Speaker 1: but that dream came to a halt after Luke fell
- 19:53Speaker 1: ill his freshman year of high school. He was eventually
- 19:56Speaker 1: diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder, leaving him a lea him
- 20:00Speaker 1: with painful skin rashes that ultimately forced him to stop
- 20:03Speaker 1: playing baseball for good. I guess the wind racing over
- 20:08Speaker 1: his abrasions on his arms was too much to bear
- 20:11Speaker 1: in baseball as opposed to the soft, easy dynamics of
- 20:15Speaker 1: the tossing motion of cornhole. Luke says, I'm sorry. Luke's mom, Alicia,
- 20:21Speaker 1: said that was hard. It was a long road to
- 20:25Speaker 1: even find out what was going on. It was hard
- 20:27Speaker 1: on him emotionally and mentally. It was really hard on him.
- 20:31Speaker 1: To this day, Luke undergoes monthly infusion therapy. Unfortunately, he says,
- 20:36Speaker 1: the disease that I have, I'll have for the rest
- 20:38Speaker 1: of my life. There's not a total cure from it.
- 20:42Speaker 1: But I've got cornhole. I added that last part. But
- 20:47Speaker 1: that doesn't stop him from striving to be the best
- 20:49Speaker 1: athlete he can be. His father playing a big role
- 20:51Speaker 1: in helping Luke perfect his newfound passion. He says, in
- 20:54Speaker 1: the summertime, we'll play in the backyard. In the winter,
- 20:58Speaker 1: they rent out pickleball courts and even convert their home
- 21:00Speaker 1: hallway into a cornhole court. He says it's about six
- 21:07Speaker 1: feet short of regulation, so it kind of messes up
- 21:09Speaker 1: your throwing for the first couple of tries, but he
- 21:12Speaker 1: says repetition and practice payoff. He's now looking ahead to
- 21:16Speaker 1: the Cornhole World Championships in South Carolina in August, and
- 21:21Speaker 1: when he's not tossing the bag, he's focused on school
- 21:24Speaker 1: and majoring and sports management. Trey. To answer your question
- 21:29Speaker 1: from earlier, Young Luke here from Utah is the first
- 21:33Speaker 1: team out of the state of Utah to get a
- 21:36Speaker 1: collegiate cornhole scholarship to the illustrious university, the cornhole Kings
- 21:42Speaker 1: of the country, Winthrop University.
- 21:45Speaker 4: I mean, Utah seemed like, I mean seemed like an
- 21:47Speaker 4: odd place because this cornhole seems like it would really
- 21:52Speaker 4: would not be popular amongst the Church of Latter day Saints.
- 21:56Speaker 3: I think that they start cornholing.
- 22:00Speaker 1: First space. Oh sorry, that's important taste. Also, I'm kind
- 22:10Speaker 1: of with you, Trey. That sounds like something that maybe
- 22:12Speaker 1: the LDS might frown upon because it's too much fun
- 22:15Speaker 1: or well, typically advertisers, like some of the advertisers may
- 22:20Speaker 1: go against uh, you know, Joseph Smith's teachings. You know
- 22:23Speaker 1: because beer.
- 22:26Speaker 2: MHM energy drinks. You know.
- 22:30Speaker 4: A lot of things you would not but you just know.
- 22:34Speaker 4: I mean, since this kid has an autoimmune does disease
- 22:36Speaker 4: and he's overcome the stumpy guy with no arms and
- 22:39Speaker 4: no legs, the place cornhole has got to be the
- 22:41Speaker 4: poster on that guy's door.
- 22:45Speaker 1: This is why represents.
- 22:48Speaker 3: Lebron a small poster.
- 22:54Speaker 1: It's a button.
- 22:59Speaker 3: He's the goat.

- 24:11Speaker 1: the regular tree House, I'm Daniel Malley along with Trey
- 24:13Speaker 1: Trenholm and Raj Sharma. There was one last little bit
- 24:17Speaker 1: I wanted to tell you about that eighteen year old
- 24:22Speaker 1: Utah teen who was the first to get a college
- 24:25Speaker 1: cornhole scholarship. Name is Luke. He has his autoimmune disease
- 24:30Speaker 1: which kept him from pursuing his lifelong dream of playing
- 24:35Speaker 1: baseball in college, so instead he shifted to cornholing the game.
- 24:42Speaker 1: And no, he's not cornholding the game. He's playing cornhole
- 24:45Speaker 1: the game. That'd be weird if they walked in. He's yeah. Anyway,
- 24:52Speaker 1: he has an inspiring story and a motivational message Luke does.
- 24:59Speaker 1: Part of what he said in his journey going from
- 25:03Speaker 1: baseball to cornhole is he says, you need to find
- 25:07Speaker 1: something that you can do that isn't going.
- 25:09Speaker 3: To hurt you.
- 25:14Speaker 1: Cornholeing, sitting and just thinking about your illness is not
- 25:21Speaker 1: really the way to go. Just finding something to distract
- 25:24Speaker 1: yourself and overcome the mental struggles of your physical disabilities.
- 25:27Speaker 1: I really do wonder Rag, Like you pointed out, this
- 25:30Speaker 1: is a guy that's got basically a skin disease, and
- 25:34Speaker 1: that's not good. That's bad, that's terrible. But there is
- 25:38Speaker 1: the actual guy in the cornhole league who's professional, that's
- 25:42Speaker 1: got no arms and legs. So I kind of wonder
- 25:44Speaker 1: if he here's that message and receives it the way
- 25:49Speaker 1: that Luke intends it, because now you're talking about two
- 25:52Speaker 1: different levels of issues here.
- 25:56Speaker 2: It sounds like neither one of them can masturbate.
- 26:02Speaker 1: The corl.
- 26:08Speaker 2: Competitive pegging was out.
- 26:13Speaker 1: Oh it's in.
- 26:19Speaker 2: For sponsors.
- 26:24Speaker 1: This ass takes money.
- 26:26Speaker 14: Literally, we are not right.
- 26:37Speaker 2: The listeners know.
- 26:38Speaker 1: I mean, one could argue the other side. Actually, maybe
- 26:41Speaker 1: we are really really right.
- 26:43Speaker 2: Oh one's the bottom, one the top. It doesn't matter.
- 26:47Speaker 1: Sometimes when you're in the mood, you're on your sides,
- 26:49Speaker 1: then your equals. That's called the partner's pose.
- 26:55Speaker 2: Sometimes you feel like a nut.
- 27:00Speaker 14: Did she call you all enjoy or I met both
- 27:09Speaker 14: of them in Thailand.
- 27:16Speaker 1: I had so many goals, not only for this show,
- 27:19Speaker 1: but this segment.
- 27:22Speaker 2: I had so many goals in life.
- 27:25Speaker 1: Sometimes they don't work out the way we thought, and
- 27:28Speaker 1: yet here we are. That's what I say every time
- 27:34Speaker 1: before it starts.

- 28:24Speaker 1: Malley along with Trey Turnholm and Roz Sharma back inside
- 28:26Speaker 1: the Treehouse. Now, No, I'm not. I'm not going to
- 28:32Speaker 1: go back there just yet. I think we're going to
- 28:34Speaker 1: focus on what I've got written down and what we
- 28:37Speaker 1: normally do at this time during each and every show,
- 28:41Speaker 1: and that is birthdays. Okay, yeah, Today is, of course Monday,
- 28:48Speaker 1: March seven. Oh yeah, I didn't. I didn't write it
- 28:52Speaker 1: down on the card to tell you. Trade News sounder,
- 28:58Speaker 1: thank you. Today is Monday, March seventeenth, twenty twenty five.
- 29:03Speaker 1: Let's celebrate with some birthdays before we jump back into
- 29:07Speaker 1: the competitive pegging. He played Finn in the new Star
- 29:12Speaker 1: Wars movies, which he rightfully distanced himself from. John Boyega.
- 29:18Speaker 1: Is thirty three today, although one could argue that they
- 29:21Speaker 1: distanced themselves from him before he distanced himself from them.
- 29:27Speaker 1: Those movies were a mess, and you could tell just
- 29:30Speaker 1: by the character arcs of all of various characters, John
- 29:35Speaker 1: Boyega's Finn At being one of them. The po dammarin
- 29:41Speaker 1: his arc was weird, especially in the second one. The
- 29:45Speaker 1: character arcs really tray. You're right, those movies were really
- 29:49Speaker 1: just kind.
- 29:49Speaker 2: Of just ble They weren't kind of they were blah.
- 29:56Speaker 1: Well, ironically, I went into those New movies with hope,
- 30:03Speaker 1: which was which was the first movie's title, a New Hope,
- 30:06Speaker 1: and that's what we were all going into. And the
- 30:08Speaker 1: first one that came out, the Force Awakens, that was okay,
- 30:12Speaker 1: that wasn't bad. There's some stuff in there that some
- 30:17Speaker 1: of the Star Wars super nerds could take issue with
- 30:20Speaker 1: about like whether or not a former Stormtrooper like John
- 30:23Speaker 1: Boyega's Finn could properly wield a lightsaber against you know,
- 30:28Speaker 1: Ben Solo slash Kylo Wren. But I mean those are
- 30:33Speaker 1: little things can be thrown around the death of Han Solo,
- 30:35Speaker 1: you can, you know whatever. But the second one through
- 30:38Speaker 1: a huge wrench into the whole series, and the third
- 30:40Speaker 1: one was just they were trying to salvage it, and
- 30:43Speaker 1: so it was just a huge mess and they were screwed.
- 30:47Speaker 4: The peak of that that series was in the middle
- 30:49Speaker 4: of the second one, when Yoda appears destroys the tree
- 30:52Speaker 4: and then it literally it just goes to crap from there.
- 30:57Speaker 1: Meanwhile, Raj in the corner like, I'm not the nerd
- 31:04Speaker 1: Star Wars.
- 31:05Speaker 2: I know it's Ben Solo. Is that the name?
- 31:10Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 31:11Speaker 1: Because because Han Solo and Princess Leah had a kid,
- 31:14Speaker 1: they named him Ben after Obi Wan Ben Kenobi.
- 31:18Speaker 2: Oh okay, the dark Side. Oh okay.
- 31:23Speaker 1: So not only is he named after another Star Wars character,
- 31:26Speaker 1: but it also works because as a lonely emo, yeah,
- 31:32Speaker 1: sith Lord, he's also Ben Solo. Yeah, yeah, I don't
- 31:37Speaker 1: think they intended that. I think that was a happy accident.
- 31:40Speaker 4: Who then names himself Kylo Kylo Okay, so he goes yeah,
- 31:45Speaker 4: he goes DJ so Kylo.
- 31:50Speaker 2: When do you guys start pegging each other?
- 31:55Speaker 1: That's a different franchise altogether. Other birthdays today from Take
- 32:02Speaker 1: Me to Church Fame, Whosier is thirty five. He actually
- 32:06Speaker 1: has other songs, you just don't ever hear them. Speaking
- 32:09Speaker 1: of singers, Grimes is thirty seven. Her probably best known
- 32:14Speaker 1: song is Medieval Warfare out of Suicide Squad. She's also
- 32:19Speaker 1: one of Elon's baby mamas, if I remember correctly, grind
- 32:22Speaker 1: Just thirty seven. Not that she should feel special in
- 32:26Speaker 1: that regard. Speaking of not feeling special, Rob Kardashian turns
- 32:30Speaker 1: thirty eight. We were talking earlier about how the extremes
- 32:39Speaker 1: in our lives are the ones that get the most attention,
- 32:42Speaker 1: whether it's the ultra smart or the ultra stupid ladies
- 32:47Speaker 1: and gentlemen. I offer up the Kardashian clan as evidence
- 32:51Speaker 1: of that.
- 32:52Speaker 13: Yeah, no one wants to see his sex tape.
- 33:00Speaker 3: If you start picturing it, it's not good.
- 33:03Speaker 8: I was.
- 33:04Speaker 1: I was able to shut that down immediately, thankfully. Rob
- 33:08Speaker 1: Kardashian turns thirty eight. Especially when when you think about
- 33:11Speaker 1: how the family started, Like when I watched the one
- 33:14Speaker 1: of those OJ the OJ documentary thing where Robert Kardashian,
- 33:20Speaker 1: the lawyer who's the father was played by David Schwimmer
- 33:25Speaker 1: from Friends. So I watched that whole series. It was
- 33:28Speaker 1: really really good, the OJ trial stuff, And at least
- 33:32Speaker 1: based on that show, Robert Kardashian seemed like a decent guy,
- 33:35Speaker 1: and then his whole family just went crazy after he died.
- 33:40Speaker 13: Yeah, I mean, but they all died, like all the
- 33:43Speaker 13: lawyers died. Like that's bad karma of all of OJ's lawyers. Yeah, well,
- 33:49Speaker 13: I mean, conk all of them.
- 33:51Speaker 1: They're all gonna die eventually. Just I'm a little bit
- 33:53Speaker 1: sooner than others. I don't think it's some sort of
- 33:55Speaker 1: grand conspiracy.
- 33:57Speaker 3: Look it up.
- 33:58Speaker 13: I mean, if you want to go down and I
- 34:00Speaker 13: will talk about conspiracy theories, if you want to look
- 34:02Speaker 13: it up.
- 34:03Speaker 2: Yeah you will.
- 34:03Speaker 1: But I can tell by looking at Trey's face he's
- 34:06Speaker 1: not on the OJ lawyer death conspiracy train.
- 34:10Speaker 4: It was just I mean, it's not like they died
- 34:12Speaker 4: immediately after a few years.
- 34:15Speaker 3: Yeah, had.
- 34:17Speaker 1: During the trial, that would have been this glove.
- 34:24Speaker 2: He's guilty.
- 34:26Speaker 1: We think he did it. Although I I you know what,
- 34:29Speaker 1: I I would argue that if in the middle of
- 34:33Speaker 1: that trial OJ decided to strangle Bob Shapiro to death
- 34:38Speaker 1: in court, Johnny Cochrand would still say, all right, he
- 34:41Speaker 1: killed that guy, But that doesn't mean he killed these
- 34:43Speaker 1: other two people. You have to focus on the crime
- 34:48Speaker 1: that he's currently charged with. We'll get to the Bob
- 34:50Speaker 1: Shapiro get to the next one. Yeah, but for now,
- 34:53Speaker 1: if the glove don't fit, Shapiro has quit.
- 35:11Speaker 8: You're in the tree house.

- 35:22Speaker 8: You're in the treehouse.

- 35:30Speaker 1: It is time to advertise right here inside the treehouse.
- 35:34Speaker 1: Sponsorship opportunities are available if you're interested to shoot us
- 35:38Speaker 1: an email Treehouse on Air at gmail dot com. That's
- 35:41Speaker 1: Treehouse on Air at gmail dot com. To advertise right
- 35:45Speaker 1: here inside the treehouse. I'm Daniel Malley, He's trade Trendholm
- 35:48Speaker 1: and that is Rod Sharma. All inside the Treehouse today,
- 35:51Speaker 1: Saint Patrick's Day, Monday, twenty twenty five. I was trying
- 35:56Speaker 1: to go from from silly to sort of serious and
- 35:59Speaker 1: then maybe to silly. But I just I can't get
- 36:02Speaker 1: away from the cornhole story and what would what was that? Competitive?
- 36:06Speaker 2: What masturbation?
- 36:12Speaker 1: From cornholing to competitive masturbation. Sometimes I even watch and
- 36:16Speaker 1: listen to this show and wonder, how how do we
- 36:18Speaker 1: do that?
- 36:21Speaker 2: Well?
- 36:21Speaker 3: I have autoimmune disease.
- 36:23Speaker 13: I have itchy skin, but I take medication for it,
- 36:27Speaker 13: and I'm a little shaky, and I mean I'm just saying,
- 36:30Speaker 13: like the corn whole thing, like I could toss it.
- 36:32Speaker 13: That sounds terrible. Uh, I could toss it, but it
- 36:36Speaker 13: would it would just fly away.
- 36:39Speaker 1: Well, I mean yeah, go ahead try.
- 36:42Speaker 4: Oh Roger, I think you would uh be considered that
- 36:45Speaker 4: you have PEDS. What is ped performance and enhancing drugs?
- 36:53Speaker 3: Oh?
- 36:54Speaker 4: Well for you, for you, it would be performance enhancing
- 36:57Speaker 4: disease because you got the shaky thing.
- 37:02Speaker 2: You guys are not nice about this, So what would
- 37:08Speaker 2: on the other day?
- 37:09Speaker 1: Yeah, so the performance enhancing diseases that Raj may have,
- 37:13Speaker 1: like the autoimmune, the skin thing, and then also possibly
- 37:17Speaker 1: a border neuron or a parking type of thing. The
- 37:21Speaker 1: you're saying, Tray that that might help him in competitive cornholing.
- 37:25Speaker 2: No competitive masturbation.
- 37:27Speaker 13: Ah, that would be unfair, No, I mean because I
- 37:31Speaker 13: mean like it would just kind of.
- 37:34Speaker 3: Go everywhere, right.
- 37:36Speaker 2: But I mean you couldn't stop. I mean you could
- 37:38Speaker 2: just keep going.
- 37:41Speaker 1: Oh you mean he would have difficulty finishing.
- 37:44Speaker 4: I mean he could finish and then just keep going.
- 37:46Speaker 4: You know, he might want to stop, but it would
- 37:49Speaker 4: just you know, hand would just.
- 37:53Speaker 2: I absolutely don't like you.
- 37:57Speaker 1: I mean, he's surrounded by medals and trophies because he
- 38:00Speaker 1: just can't stop. But he's also crying because he can't stop.
- 38:08Speaker 2: The New Indian with the tear going down.
- 38:10Speaker 1: Oh my god, thank you for opening up the segue door, Trey.
- 38:16Speaker 1: I think let's take this moment to get away from
- 38:19Speaker 1: dog piling on Raj and let's just dog pile on
- 38:22Speaker 1: his culture as a whole. Because we found this and
- 38:27Speaker 1: I think it's important that we share it with the
- 38:28Speaker 1: world again. We did it earlier today, let's do it again.
- 38:32Speaker 1: Last week we told you the story about the Air
- 38:34Speaker 1: India flight from Chicago to Delhi that had to turn
- 38:36Speaker 1: around because the toilets on the flight got clogged so
- 38:42Speaker 1: severely that the pilots had to contact air traffic control
- 38:47Speaker 1: and turn the plane around, declaring an emergency. And just
- 38:51Speaker 1: the other day we did an investigation on our own
- 38:55Speaker 1: and Trey was able to dig up the voice recording
- 38:59Speaker 1: from Chicago Air Traffic Control to the Air India flight
- 39:04Speaker 1: that needed to declare an emergency and turn around to
- 39:09Speaker 1: go back to the airport. So let's if you missed
- 39:13Speaker 1: it earlier, let's uh, let's listen in again.
- 39:17Speaker 6: Chicago India, Double.
- 39:19Speaker 5: Dunes, Air India. This is Chicago Tower, go ahead.
- 39:23Speaker 6: We need to declare an emergency.
- 39:26Speaker 5: An emergency? What's wrong?
- 39:28Speaker 6: Because we are having plumbing problems?
- 39:31Speaker 5: Plumbing problems on a plane.
- 39:33Speaker 6: Yeah, plumbing problem.
- 39:36Speaker 5: Why would plumbing problems be an emergency? Because damn how
- 39:42Speaker 5: bad could it be that you need to declare an emergency?
- 39:45Speaker 6: Are you kidding me? Popping out like pop top?
- 39:49Speaker 7: Okay, India, Double dudes, we'll hear the next team, Wendy,
- 39:56Speaker 7: we are going to leave mar Remember it's stills on board.
- 40:04Speaker 6: Nobody on this side has anymore.
- 40:10Speaker 5: In their flight. Double dudes, One more question. My computer
- 40:14Speaker 5: is freezing up a little. Any suggestion we are.
- 40:22Speaker 6: Have you tried stalking?
- 40:28Speaker 2: I know it's bad when your flight can't clear customs.
- 40:36Speaker 1: Thanks for hanging out with us inside the Treehouse today.
- 40:39Speaker 1: Happy Saint Patrick's Day. We'll see you back in here tomorrow.
