Speaker 1: Company. What's up everyone, and welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles.
• 0:05
Speaker 1: Hope that everybody's having a great morning so far, and
• 0:08
Speaker 1: hopefully the rest of your day is even better. You've
• 0:13
Speaker 1: probably noticed that I uploaded a couple of episodes of
• 0:17
Speaker 1: a series that I created called That's Wild, and in
• 0:21
Speaker 1: that series, I discuss some of the more weird or
• 0:25
Speaker 1: offbeat news from around the world. Now, I have received
• 0:30
Speaker 1: a ton of emails overnight about that That's Wild episodes,
• 0:35
Speaker 1: and yeah, I definitely have a few more that I
• 0:37
Speaker 1: will post up for you. I know. It's kind of
• 0:40
Speaker 1: a nice change considering the heavy topic that we discuss
• 0:43
Speaker 1: here on this podcast all the time. So there needs
• 0:47
Speaker 1: to be a little bit of a break every now
• 0:50
Speaker 1: and then, right, We can't just continue on the path
• 0:53
Speaker 1: of just the type of content where we need to
• 0:57
Speaker 1: drink bleach afterwards. We have to break that monotony up
• 1:00
Speaker 1: little bit. So that's why I came up with That's
• 1:03
Speaker 1: Wild segments, and their home base is over at my
• 1:07
Speaker 1: other podcast, Beyond the Horizon. But instead of sending you
• 1:11
Speaker 1: folks to, you know, find another podcast to subscribe to
• 1:15
Speaker 1: and all of that jazz, I'll just cross post stuff
• 1:17
Speaker 1: like that. Over here as well, and it's all clearly labeled.
• 1:21
Speaker 1: I know some of you are only interested in content
• 1:24
Speaker 1: about Epstein and Maxwell, and like I said yesterday, I
• 1:27
Speaker 1: get that understood. But there's definitely gonna be some crossover episodes.
• 1:32
Speaker 1: So those of you who are interested in listening to them,
• 1:34
Speaker 1: and it seems like a lot of you are, well,
• 1:37
Speaker 1: they'll be there for you. There's gonna be a few
• 1:39
Speaker 1: more today as well, and we're just gonna keep it rolling, folks.
• 1:43
Speaker 1: You know, there is so much going on in this case,
• 1:46
Speaker 1: as far as Jeffrey Epstein, Glene Maxwell, the co conspirators,
• 1:51
Speaker 1: and other cases like it around the world, that we
• 1:54
Speaker 1: could legitimately sit here every day and pump out three
• 1:57
Speaker 1: or four episodes on these kinds of people. That's how
• 2:03
Speaker 1: pervasive this issue really is, and that's how much information
• 2:07
Speaker 1: is out there. And I plan on continuing to do
• 2:11
Speaker 1: just that. As you can see, I have a bunch
• 2:15
Speaker 1: of episodes that have been recorded in the catalog already
• 2:18
Speaker 1: that I've been uploading for context purposes, and we add
• 2:22
Speaker 1: at least one new episode every single day. In fact,
• 2:26
Speaker 1: I ran out of space yesterday at Spreaker and had
• 2:30
Speaker 1: to upgrade my plan so that we could keep everything
• 2:34
Speaker 1: rolling and make sure that the catalogs weren't done away
• 2:37
Speaker 1: with or anything like that. But for me, now that
• 2:42
Speaker 1: I plan on, you know, creating content full time, it
• 2:46
Speaker 1: is just a no brainer to have that extra space anyways.
• 2:50
Speaker 1: So we're going to continue to keep going until we
• 2:53
Speaker 1: have to upgrade and get more space, and on and
• 2:57
Speaker 1: on and on and on after that, because I'll tell
• 3:01
Speaker 1: you what, there is no shortage of bad news out there, folks,
• 3:05
Speaker 1: But you know what, there is a shortage of truthful
• 3:09
Speaker 1: people bringing the news to you. Way too much bs
• 3:14
Speaker 1: out there. I'm interested in one thing and one thing only, folks,
• 3:17
Speaker 1: and that's getting to the bottom of all of this stuff.
• 3:19
Speaker 1: Just like you. I'm just a regular, average person, just
• 3:22
Speaker 1: like most of you out there, and I want answers.
• 3:27
Speaker 1: And unfortunately, the people who are employed in these media
• 3:30
Speaker 1: outlets and these you know, these corporations, they're not interested
• 3:33
Speaker 1: in getting to the truth. So it falls on independent
• 3:38
Speaker 1: content creators and dependent journalists to try and move that
• 3:41
Speaker 1: ball forward. And you know, now, like I said previously,
• 3:46
Speaker 1: the year twenty twenty two, I'm here for it full time.
• 3:49
Speaker 1: One hundred percent of the time I spent a lot
• 3:52
Speaker 1: of time in the studio previously, but now that the
• 3:55
Speaker 1: rest of my schedule is cleared up, is freed up,
• 3:58
Speaker 1: and now that I am able to think about content
• 4:01
Speaker 1: one hundred percent of the time, I am excited to
• 4:07
Speaker 1: bring some of these projects to you, to share some
• 4:10
Speaker 1: of these projects with you, and hopefully get the conversation
• 4:14
Speaker 1: moving in a few different ways. One thing you can
• 4:19
Speaker 1: guarantee though, is that we're going to be here every
• 4:22
Speaker 1: single day. Now. Look, there's people out there that are
• 4:25
Speaker 1: way more talented than me. There are people out there
• 4:28
Speaker 1: that are way smarter than me. You know what, You're
• 4:31
Speaker 1: not going to find, though, You're not going to find
• 4:33
Speaker 1: people out there that are covering this story that are
• 4:36
Speaker 1: going to outwork me. I pride myself on my level
• 4:41
Speaker 1: of commitment to following this story and continuing to bring
• 4:46
Speaker 1: you folks the information. And while again I might not
• 4:51
Speaker 1: be the smartest guy in the world, certainly not the
• 4:54
Speaker 1: most talented, but when it comes to work ethic, you
• 4:58
Speaker 1: will be hard pressed to find anyone that is going
• 5:01
Speaker 1: to out hustle me. At this point, I live, breathe,
• 5:07
Speaker 1: and sleep this content, folks. That's all I think about
• 5:11
Speaker 1: is what the next segment's going to be how we're
• 5:14
Speaker 1: going to present it and how we're going to use
• 5:16
Speaker 1: the information to help get justice to the most vulnerable
• 5:20
Speaker 1: amongst us, Because guess what, at the end of the day,
• 5:24
Speaker 1: if we don't stand up for ourselves and we don't
• 5:27
Speaker 1: stand up for those in our communities, nobody's going to
• 5:30
Speaker 1: do it for us. These rich people don't care about us. Oh,
• 5:34
Speaker 1: I've donated seven billion dollars, yet your friend's charity that
• 5:37
Speaker 1: he pocketed half of it. Probably you want to be
• 5:41
Speaker 1: a real philanthropist. Do you want to impress me? Get
• 5:44
Speaker 1: a couple of those big fat bags of money and
• 5:46
Speaker 1: head down to the urban area of your city and
• 5:50
Speaker 1: start passing that money out. Knock on people's doors in
• 5:53
Speaker 1: poor neighborhoods and ask them if you could pay their rent.
• 5:56
Speaker 1: That would impress me. Not giving your money to some
• 5:58
Speaker 1: other charity, so you're boy can piece meal it off
• 6:01
Speaker 1: so everybody can get a taste like it's the mafia.
• 6:04
Speaker 1: Stop it. I'm not impressed by it. Oh, Jeff Bezos,
• 6:08
  Speaker 1: I don't care. I don't care. All of these people,
• 6:11
Speaker 1: all of these billionaires, the whole billionaire class is gross.
• 6:17
Speaker 1: They have the real power and not just the money,
• 6:19
Speaker 1: but the power and influence to advance civilization. And I
• 6:24
Speaker 1: don't and that's not hyperbole. They literally could advance civilization.
• 6:28
Speaker 1: I'm not saying that they should be taxed into oblivion,
• 6:30
Speaker 1: So I'm not saying that. I'm talking about the nonsense
• 6:34
Speaker 1: they engage in, the wasted money and all of the
• 6:37
Speaker 1: other bs that goes along with it. They could really
• 6:40
Speaker 1: make an impact, They could really make a change if
• 6:42
Speaker 1: they wanted to, but they don't want to. They want
• 6:45
Speaker 1: to give you the image that they're a person of change. Oh,
• 6:48
Speaker 1: we care about this charity or that charity, and it's
• 6:52
Speaker 1: all really a hustle. What they're doing is protecting themselves
• 6:57
Speaker 1: later on down the line so that when they get
• 6:59
Speaker 1: clipped like Beffrey Epstein or Leon Black or Glenn Dubin
• 7:03
Speaker 1: or Les Wexner or any of these other scumbags, they
• 7:05
Speaker 1: can fall back on their charitable givings and use it
• 7:09
Speaker 1: like a suit of armor. I'm tired of it. They
• 7:13
Speaker 1: love doing that nonsense, and their pals in the legacy media,
• 7:17
Speaker 1: they sure do provide cover for it, don't they. Well,
• 7:21
Speaker 1: hopefully people are starting to catch on, and hopefully people
• 7:26
Speaker 1: are starting to understand that the garbage on CNN, Fox News,
• 7:30
Speaker 1: that's just propaganda. They're not attempting to hold anybody accountable.
• 7:34
Speaker 1: They're looking to score political points. They're looking to carry
• 7:38
Speaker 1: water for insert politician here or political party here, and
• 7:43
Speaker 1: we go right along with it. Well, not me, I'm not.
• 7:48
Speaker 1: There's zero chance I'm consuming any of that garbage, folks.
• 7:51
Speaker 1: And I would hope that in the year twenty twenty two,
• 7:54
Speaker 1: with all of the other options out there for you
• 7:56
Speaker 1: independent journalists and otherwise, that you'd be doing the same thing.
• 8:01
Speaker 1: The legacy media is just an absolute dumpster fire. And now,
• 8:05
Speaker 1: of course I'm not saying the whole legacy media right
• 8:09
Speaker 1: like there's no good journalists. There are, there are a
• 8:11
Speaker 1: lot of them. I'm talking about the corporate structure and
• 8:15
Speaker 1: the way the decisions are made inside of the boardroom.
• 8:19
Speaker 1: That's what I have an issue with, not the hard
• 8:22
Speaker 1: working journalists for the most part, who are out there,
• 8:24
Speaker 1: you know, busting their ass trying to get a story.
• 8:28
Speaker 1: Those people are essential. Those are the people I want
• 8:30
Speaker 1: to protect. It's the corporate overlords that I have an
• 8:36
Speaker 1: issue with, the modern day robber barons, folks, and they're
• 8:42
Speaker 1: in control of everything you hear, you learn, and you see.
• 8:46
Speaker 1: They need to be held to a higher level of accountability.
• 8:49
Speaker 1: And unfortunately they've been able to get away with their
• 8:52
Speaker 1: nonsense for way too long. But now that things are
• 8:57
Speaker 1: starting to shift a bit and there is a a
• 9:00
Speaker 1: way bigger footprint for independent journalists and people in the media,
• 9:04
Speaker 1: things are definitely taking a turn and more people are
• 9:09
Speaker 1: relying on independent journalists for their news, are supporting independent
• 9:13
Speaker 1: journalists with their own money as opposed to spending you know,
• 9:17
Speaker 1: ten bucks a month on the Washington Post or whatever.
• 9:21
Speaker 1: And that's definitely the way things are turning. And the
• 9:24
Speaker 1: legacy media understands that, and that's why you'll see them
• 9:28
Speaker 1: lash out a lot at independent content creators or independent journalists,
• 9:35
Speaker 1: call them conspiracy theorists and stuff like that, because they
• 9:38
Speaker 1: understand that they are not in control of the narrative anymore.
• 9:41
Speaker 1: And once they lost control of the narrative, meaning the
• 9:44
Speaker 1: corporate media, that certainly was the beginning of the end
• 9:48
Speaker 1: for them to harbor the reputation of people like Maxwell
• 9:51
Speaker 1: or Epstein. They couldn't get away with it anymore because
• 9:55
Speaker 1: social media and the survivors themselves took to the people
• 10:01
Speaker 1: you and frankly, you were all fired up and pissed
• 10:04
Speaker 1: off about it. And those of you who have just
• 10:06
Speaker 1: heard about this case, I feel the righteous indignation. I
• 10:10
Speaker 1: understand the burning anger that you are harboring in your
• 10:15
Speaker 1: hearts right now towards these people. I am getting the emails,
• 10:18
Speaker 1: I am reading them, and I am trying to work
• 10:20
Speaker 1: through them. But folks, believe me, I understand those of
• 10:24
Speaker 1: you who weren't aware of what was going on here
• 10:26
Speaker 1: besides just a surface idea, and you know, you get
• 10:30
Speaker 1: the whole curtain pulled back in an eye full. It's
• 10:33
Speaker 1: a lot to take in. But remember how the legacy
• 10:37
Speaker 1: media framed this as a conspiracy theory for all these years,
• 10:41
Speaker 1: when in reality it was a criminal conspiracy, an international
• 10:46
Speaker 1: criminal conspiracy is what it was, not a conspiracy theory.
• 10:52
Speaker 1: And now, thankfully they can't run that narrative anymore because
• 10:56
Speaker 1: that's been shattered, especially with Maxwell's conviction. So moving forward,
• 11:03
Speaker 1: we all know that the legacy media really can't be trusted,
• 11:08
Speaker 1: right and hopefully in the year twenty twenty two they
• 11:14
Speaker 1: take that into account and they get their shit together
• 11:17
Speaker 1: and start doing the right thing. Now, believe me, I'm
• 11:19
Speaker 1: not holding my breath. But the good news is that
• 11:22
Speaker 1: independent content creators, independent journalists, and independent sources for news
• 11:27
Speaker 1: are popping up all over the place, and there are
• 11:31
Speaker 1: a lot of reliable people out there who are only
• 11:34
Speaker 1: interested in the truth. And frankly, folks, that's where I
• 11:36
Speaker 1: find myself at this point in time, After this three
• 11:40
Speaker 1: years that we have had on this journey digging into
• 11:43
Speaker 1: Glene Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein and the whole entire cabal
• 11:47
Speaker 1: that they had running over there, it's rather obvious to
• 11:51
Speaker 1: me that there has been way too much disinformation, way
• 11:55
Speaker 1: too much covering for the elites, and certainly not enough
• 12:00
Speaker 1: accountability for people like Epstein. That's changing, and I hope
• 12:08
Speaker 1: that that pattern continues, and I hope that moving forward
• 12:13
Speaker 1: we continue to hold people like Maxwell and Epstein accountable. Now,
• 12:18
Speaker 1: this morning, we have an article from WBR excuse me,
• 12:24
Speaker 1: WBUR dot org, and it is an article about Maxwell
• 12:30
Speaker 1: being found guilty but asking the question did survivors get justice?
• 12:35
Speaker 1: So let's dive into this article from authors Julie Dalstrom
• 12:40
Speaker 1: and Rachel Wexler over at WBRE headline Glenn Maxwell was
• 12:47
Speaker 1: found guilty, But did survivors get justice? I like, right
• 12:51
Speaker 1: away calling them survivors, right, not victims. That's a good thing.
• 12:55
Speaker 1: And you see that with the legacy media as well.
• 12:58
Speaker 1: As this whole entire thing evolved. It went from calling
• 13:01
Speaker 1: the girls victims to calling them survivors and certainly a
• 13:06
Speaker 1: step in the right direction. Right. Remember words matter. Let's
• 13:10
Speaker 1: call people what they are. Glenn Maxwell, she's a human trafficker.
• 13:14
Speaker 1: Maria Farmer, Annie Farmer, Virginia Roberts, those are survivors. And
• 13:19
Speaker 1: it's nice to see that the legacy media has picked
• 13:23
Speaker 1: up on that at least. Now, let's see how long
• 13:25
Speaker 1: it takes for them to all pick up on calling
• 13:27
Speaker 1: Maxwell a human trafficker. Many of view the guilty verdict
• 13:32
Speaker 1: in Glenn Maxwell's sex trafficking trial as the end of
• 13:35
Speaker 1: the final chapter of this long, tragic saga. Survivors of
• 13:39
Speaker 1: Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein sexual abuse expressed great relief after
• 13:45
Speaker 1: the news. My soul yearned for justice and that Jerry
• 13:49
Speaker 1: gave me just that, said Virginia Roberts, a prominent survivor
• 13:53
Speaker 1: of Epstein. Yet, despite the welcome result, Maxwell's trial is
• 13:57
Speaker 1: likely not the end for the end of the law
• 14:00
Speaker 1: fraught road for survivors, certainly not We've discussed that a
• 14:04
Speaker 1: lot here, right, And while it's nice to close the
• 14:07
Speaker 1: door on Maxwell, it's nice to see her get locked up.
• 14:11
Speaker 1: We're not just gonna be content with that, right, We're
• 14:14
Speaker 1: not just gonna sit back and say, all right, well,
• 14:15
Speaker 1: it's all over and done with. Everybody's been held accountable.
• 14:19
Speaker 1: Let's all go back to our regularly scheduled broadcasting. That's
• 14:23
Speaker 1: not in the cards. That's never gonna happen. We've all
• 14:26
Speaker 1: had a look behind the curtain. We all know that
• 14:28
Speaker 1: Epstein and Maxwell weren't doing this themselves. And if it
• 14:34
Speaker 1: takes us screaming from the mountaintops once again to get
• 14:37
Speaker 1: justice here against the co conspirators, then so be it.
• 14:43
Speaker 1: For decades, Epstein evaded detection by the criminal legal system
• 14:46
Speaker 1: as he engaged in prolific sexual abuse of young women
• 14:49
Speaker 1: and girls. Even when he eventually came to the attention
• 14:52
Speaker 1: of law enforcement in two thousand and five, he marshaled
• 14:56
Speaker 1: considerable wealth and influence to avoid criminal prosecut and negotiate
• 15:01
Speaker 1: a lenient plea deal. He thought he was untouchable. One
• 15:05
Speaker 1: survivor of Epstein observed it was not until twenty nineteen
• 15:10
Speaker 1: when criminal sexual trafficking charges were brought against Epstein, but
• 15:14
Speaker 1: in an instant these efforts were thwarted by his suicide, allegedly,
• 15:20
Speaker 1: And when you really break it down, that is the truth,
• 15:23
Speaker 1: real justice when it comes to Epstein. The survivors were
• 15:31
Speaker 1: not able to have that with him killing himself or
• 15:33
Speaker 1: committing suicide or being killed, whatever you believe. They were
• 15:39
Speaker 1: not able to look him in the eye and get
• 15:41
Speaker 1: the justice that they deserve. Now, at least they were
• 15:45
Speaker 1: able to sue the estate and get that restitution and
• 15:50
Speaker 1: get that acknowledgment for what happened to them. Because remember,
• 15:54
Speaker 1: once Epstein paid that money out, once that of state
• 15:56
Speaker 1: paid that money out, they took liability for the crimes
• 16:00
Speaker 1: were committed. They took liability for the sexual abuse that
• 16:03
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein was committing. And that's a victory right now.
• 16:08
Speaker 1: We can get into the numbers all day about where
• 16:11
Speaker 1: they paid enough, weren't they paid enough, that whole argument,
• 16:15
Speaker 1: but one thing is not debatable, and that's the fact
• 16:19
Speaker 1: that the estate and Jeffrey Epstein finally had to take
• 16:22
Speaker 1: responsibility when they paid that money out. With every setback,
• 16:29
Speaker 1: survivors have tried to make the legal system work for them.
• 16:32
Speaker 1: They offered victim impact statements in district court. When Epstein's
• 16:36
Speaker 1: criminal charges were dismissed, they brought civil claims and applied
• 16:39
Speaker 1: for compensation from Epstein's survivor Trust fund. Yet justice was
• 16:44
Speaker 1: slow and in many cases elusive, and it has remained
• 16:48
Speaker 1: such right. Justice has been slow, justice has been fleeting,
• 16:54
Speaker 1: and we could use a nice, healthy dose of justice
• 16:57
Speaker 1: when it comes to the other people in this case.
• 17:02
Speaker 1: In light of these challenges, many have viewed Maxwell's chrial
• 17:05
Speaker 1: as a way to provide much needed closure and empowerment
• 17:09
Speaker 1: for survivors, But in many ways, it provided yet another
• 17:13
Speaker 1: space to humiliate and re traumatize survivors, as often occurs
• 17:17
Speaker 1: in sex crime prosecutions. While the Me Too movement drew
• 17:21
Speaker 1: attention to the prevalence of sex crimes, survivors still faced
• 17:24
Speaker 1: tremendous challenges when coming forward. So where was the me
• 17:28
Speaker 1: too movement for these ladies? By the way, where were
• 17:32
Speaker 1: the big protests out in front of that courthouse? Where
• 17:35
Speaker 1: were the demands for accountability for the other co conspirators.
• 17:42
Speaker 1: I would like to see the same energy put forward
• 17:45
Speaker 1: during a political season put forward here when it comes
• 17:50
Speaker 1: to these survivors getting justice, because let me tell you what.
• 17:53
Speaker 1: If anybody's ever deserved justice, it's these ladies. They encounter
• 17:59
Speaker 1: stigma and both during and after the trial process. They
• 18:03
Speaker 1: also often experience privacy violations as information about their identity
• 18:08
Speaker 1: is shared publicly. Some even face harassment, stigma, and threats
• 18:13
Speaker 1: after they testify. One hundred percent, and that's why a
• 18:16
Speaker 1: lot of these girls wanted to do it anonymously. There
• 18:19
Speaker 1: are a lot of scummy people out there, folks, a
• 18:22
Speaker 1: lot of people that have no regard for others, a
• 18:24
Speaker 1: lot of people that will say and do hurtful things
• 18:28
Speaker 1: and not even think about it. The Crime Victim's Rights Act,
• 18:33
Speaker 1: passed by Congress in two thousand and four, provide survivors
• 18:36
Speaker 1: with the right to be treated with respect for their
• 18:39
Speaker 1: dignity and privacy during the criminal process. However, these legal
• 18:44
Speaker 1: protections have often been insufficient and under enforced. Also, less
• 18:49
Speaker 1: attention and resources have focused on the long term impact
• 18:52
Speaker 1: of the trial process itself on the survivors. And that's
• 18:55
Speaker 1: an interesting research topic to look into. I've never really
• 18:59
Speaker 1: looked into that, I'm sure. Look, we talked about it
• 19:02
Speaker 1: during the trial process. You know, you're dragging up a
• 19:05
Speaker 1: lot of memories in a lot of circumstances that have
• 19:09
Speaker 1: been repressed. So it has to be difficult for anyone,
• 19:13
Speaker 1: not just these women, but anyone who is giving testimony
• 19:17
Speaker 1: about them being abused. It has to be rough on
• 19:20
Speaker 1: the person who is bringing the accusations forward. Maxwell's case
• 19:28
Speaker 1: is a good example. Survivors faced grueling cross examination and
• 19:32
Speaker 1: privacy violations throughout the trial. Maxwell's lawyers attacked victim's credibility
• 19:37
Speaker 1: by invoking stereotypes about substance use and delays in reporting
• 19:42
Speaker 1: that abuse. The defense also suggested that victims lie to
• 19:46
Speaker 1: receive payouts from the Epstein Survivor's compensation program. That was
• 19:51
Speaker 1: their whole strategy. And when you don't have the truth
• 19:54
Speaker 1: on your side, what else are you going to do?
• 19:56
Speaker 1: What else are you going to rely on as a
• 19:58
Speaker 1: lawyer now? And they took this case, the lawyers is
• 20:01
Speaker 1: not because they thought Maxwell was innocent or they were
• 20:04
Speaker 1: doing some great deed for society. They saw dollar signs,
• 20:08
Speaker 1: folks Chi Chang, the meter was running. Two survivors also
• 20:13
Speaker 1: had their privacy violated in ways that will likely have
• 20:16
Speaker 1: long lasting consequences. Defense counsel used their real names in
• 20:20
Speaker 1: open court after they had been promised anonymity heard by
• 20:24
Speaker 1: those in the courtroom and three overflow rooms. Although major
• 20:28
Speaker 1: news outlets refrained from publishing them, their names are likely
• 20:32
Speaker 1: to be shared online, leaving them vulnerable to cyber bullying,
• 20:35
Speaker 1: threats and harassment. And you would think that people would
• 20:39
Speaker 1: know better. You would think that people would have more
• 20:41
Speaker 1: sense than to get out there and bully and threaten
• 20:44
Speaker 1: people like this. They do not, folks. Okay, there are
• 20:48
Speaker 1: some real derelics out there act in the fool who
• 20:52
Speaker 1: like get off on being scumbags. And the whole Internet
• 20:57
Speaker 1: thing has made people way too comfortable day stuff behind
• 21:01
Speaker 1: the computer screen that would for sure get them a
• 21:05
Speaker 1: black eye in real life. Way too many people run
• 21:09
Speaker 1: their yap on the computer, saved evil and vile things
• 21:12
Speaker 1: because they know there's no repercussions. And it's one of
• 21:16
Speaker 1: the main reasons I don't get involved in any kind
• 21:18
Speaker 1: of nonsensical arguments on Twitter. What's the point some clowns
• 21:23
Speaker 1: sitting around eating cheetos in his Batman under rus and
• 21:26
Speaker 1: Mommy's basement, pounding away on the keyboard. I got better
• 21:30
Speaker 1: things to do, folks, and I'm sure all of you
• 21:32
Speaker 1: do as well. Privacy violations like these are unfortunately common
• 21:39
Speaker 1: in sex crime cases, and they can have severe long
• 21:42
Speaker 1: term consequences. In another high profile case, for example, a
• 21:46
Speaker 1: rape victim's name was leaked during the criminal proceeding and
• 21:49
Speaker 1: she faced harassment and threats, resulting in significant trauma. While
• 21:54
Speaker 1: some aspects of the trial process, like the constitutional right
• 21:57
Speaker 1: to confront one's accuser through cross examination, are integral to
• 22:01
Speaker 1: our criminal system, they often come with heavy costs for
• 22:04
Speaker 1: victims in the courtroom and beyond. Well. While I agree
• 22:08
Speaker 1: with that it is a necessary part, cross examination has
• 22:12
Speaker 1: to happen, right, We have to get to the bottom
• 22:14
Speaker 1: of things. That's why we have a trial, to get
• 22:16
Speaker 1: to the truth. And while it might be rough on victims,
• 22:19
Speaker 1: you know what, strike that It definitely is rough on victims, male, woman, whatever.
• 22:24
Speaker 1: It's definitely hard to get in that box and testify,
• 22:27
Speaker 1: but it's crucial if you want to get a prosecution if.
• 22:31
Speaker 1: While much research explores survivor experiences with early stages of
• 22:36
Speaker 1: the criminal process, there is significantly less on the consequences
• 22:40
Speaker 1: of participating in trials, particularly in the longer term. This
• 22:44
Speaker 1: gap exists in part because the vast majority of cases
• 22:48
Speaker 1: in this country do not go to trial, making it
• 22:51
Speaker 1: difficult to research, and that is a fact. A lot
• 22:54
Speaker 1: of cases in America get pleated out. You know, people
• 22:57
Speaker 1: don't have money in this country, folks, and there's a
• 22:59
Speaker 1: res and so many Americans are in prison. We'll take
• 23:04
Speaker 1: plea deals because nobody can battle a court case for
• 23:08
Speaker 1: a year unless you have maxwell kind of money. So
• 23:11
Speaker 1: regular common folks will plead down, get you know, maybe
• 23:15
Speaker 1: some kind of misdemeanor instead of a felony or whatever
• 23:17
Speaker 1: it is, and keep it moving. And that's all part
• 23:21
Speaker 1: of the scam, isn't it. It's all part of the
• 23:24
Speaker 1: plot by the robber barons to keep us all on
• 23:28
Speaker 1: this modern day slavery plantation. Basically that they have us
• 23:35
Speaker 1: on but slaves to debt, slaves to their technology, slaves
• 23:39
Speaker 1: to you get the drift right. However, we can learn
• 23:44
Speaker 1: from research conducted in other jurisdictions. A study in New Zealand,
• 23:48
Speaker 1: for example, highlighted how the verdict and sentencing impacted victims
• 23:52
Speaker 1: of sexual violence, regardless of the trial's outcome. One survivor explained,
• 23:57
Speaker 1: after the trial, it's like grief, you know, it's such
• 24:00
Speaker 1: a massive build up to this one event and then
• 24:02
Speaker 1: it just drops off. Another shared you go through this process,
• 24:06
Speaker 1: your adrenalinees going. Then suddenly everything's finished and life goes
• 24:10
Speaker 1: back to normal. But there's no normal anymore, and I'm
• 24:14
Speaker 1: struggling with it. You would have to think that it's difficult,
• 24:17
Speaker 1: for sure. You get up there and you air yourself
• 24:19
Speaker 1: out like that, You make yourself vulnerable all over again
• 24:22
Speaker 1: after already being abused by people. That takes a lot
• 24:26
Speaker 1: of courage. And not just the girls in this case,
• 24:30
Speaker 1: but anyone who comes forward, male, female. Anyone who comes
• 24:34
Speaker 1: forward and has the courage to get up there and
• 24:37
Speaker 1: tell their story after being horrifically abused, has nothing but
• 24:42
Speaker 1: my utmost respect. In the aftermath of Maxwell's trial, survivors
• 24:48
Speaker 1: have good reason to celebrate, but their journey is likely
• 24:51
Speaker 1: far from over. As Maxwell's appeals and some continue to
• 24:54
Speaker 1: seek justice through the civil system, they will probably experience
• 24:58
Speaker 1: reverberations from the trial in their lives for some time.
• 25:02
Speaker 1: The fight the hole enablers accountable may take years to
• 25:05
Speaker 1: be realized, if at all. As Virginia Roberts explains, it's
• 25:09
Speaker 1: definitely not over. There are so many more people involved
• 25:12
Speaker 1: with this. It doesn't stop with Maxwell and folks. That's
• 25:15
Speaker 1: the rallying cry right there, right. I know it's a lot.
• 25:20
Speaker 1: I know it's asking a lot of you to be
• 25:22
Speaker 1: very interested in this case for this long, years and
• 25:25
Speaker 1: years and years until we get some justice. I know
• 25:28
Speaker 1: it's asking a lot, But remember how heinous these crimes were.
• 25:33
Speaker 1: Every time you feel like you're getting grinded down, you're
• 25:36
Speaker 1: getting burned out, think about what the survivors went through.
• 25:39
Speaker 1: Think about how brutal their lives have been, and then
• 25:43
Speaker 1: get back into the fight because it's going to take
• 25:46
Speaker 1: all of us. I've said it a million times, and
• 25:49
Speaker 1: I'll say it a million more. One gnat you can
• 25:51
Speaker 1: just swat that Nat away ten million gnats. Now you're suffocating.
• 25:55
Speaker 1: So we need to be the nats, folks, and we
• 25:57
Speaker 1: need to work together on this. While pursuing these battles
• 26:03
Speaker 1: provides a sense of purpose and justice for survivors, it
• 26:06
Speaker 1: forces many to continuously relive past traumas. Epstein survivors, no
• 26:11
Speaker 1: doubt deserve to move on with their lives, but for
• 26:14
Speaker 1: so many, the story is far from over. One hundred percent,
• 26:19
Speaker 1: This story is far from over, folks. And as we
• 26:23
Speaker 1: continue to move forward, as each day passes, and you know,
• 26:27
Speaker 1: we learn more the disgustingness of it tops the day before,
• 26:36
Speaker 1: and hopefully as we continue to pursue this, as we
• 26:40
Speaker 1: continue to discuss this, those in charge, those that we
• 26:44
Speaker 1: have put in positions of power as far as attorney
• 26:48
Speaker 1: generals and whatnot, continue to pursue the co conspirators because
• 26:53
Speaker 1: the survivors deserve that, we as taxpayers deserve that. And
• 27:01
Speaker 1: I would hope that the officials in charge have this
• 27:04
Speaker 1: at the very top of their to do list. Now
• 27:07
Speaker 1: do I think that they do, No, I do not,
• 27:10
Speaker 1: But guess what they didn't have Maxwell at the top
• 27:12
Speaker 1: of their list either, or Jeffrey Epstein. But our constant
• 27:16
Speaker 1: carrying on about it are constant yelling and screaming from
• 27:19
Speaker 1: the mountaintops. Well it was effective, folks, and I urge
• 27:23
Speaker 1: you to continue as we move forward, holding not only
• 27:28
Speaker 1: these enablers accountable, but those that we put in positions
• 27:32
Speaker 1: to pursue justice accountable as well if they don't do that. So,
• 27:38
Speaker 1: the year twenty twenty is going to be the year
• 27:40
Speaker 1: of accountability on the Jeffrey on this podcast, on the
• 27:44
Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles, because for too long these people have gone
• 27:48
Speaker 1: away with not being accountable. But this year we're going
• 27:52
Speaker 1: to continue to scream about it. We're going to continue
• 27:55
Speaker 1: to talk about it until the authorities take notice. All right, everybody,
• 28:02
Speaker 1: that's gonna wrap it up for this morning's update. We'll
• 28:05
Speaker 1: be back tonight with an evening update and we'll touch
• 28:07
Speaker 1: more on Prince Andrew tonight for sure, and take a
• 28:11
Speaker 1: look at what occurred throughout the day as far as
• 28:14
Speaker 1: his civil case with Virginia Roberts. I've had some people
• 28:20
Speaker 1: also ask how they can help support the podcast. Now,
• 28:23
Speaker 1: I'm not really big on all of that, right, I'm
• 28:25
Speaker 1: not really somebody who you know posts about it or
• 28:29
Speaker 1: anything like that, but there I do have a PayPal
• 28:31
Speaker 1: account and I will post a link in the description
• 28:35
Speaker 1: box along with the source for those of you who
• 28:38
Speaker 1: have asked about it. Those of you who haven't, forget it,
• 28:42
Speaker 1: ignore it, and keep it moving. But I know that
• 28:45
Speaker 1: there's some of you out there who have sent me
• 28:46
Speaker 1: emails asking if there was a place that you could help,
• 28:49
Speaker 1: you know, support the podcast, and I will definitely post
• 28:53
Speaker 1: that link. If you'd like to contact me, you can
