North Carolina Aquariums Marine Mammal Stranding Team just earned top honors from NOAA for saving the critically endangered North Atlantic right whale—only about 384 left in the world. These whales migrate south to North Carolina’s coast each winter to give birth, and the team is on the front lines, rescuing stranded whales, dolphins, seals, and manatees.
