- 0:01Speaker 1: The whole Aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kyzy.
- 0:04Speaker 1: Tune in week days at four on radio.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Hold Ike, Please no more There on the radio Hold
- 0:09Speaker 2: Arky Big Show this Monday afternoon. The time is exactly
- 0:14Speaker 2: nineteen minutes to six o'clock. And New zeal And losing
- 0:16Speaker 2: their first working in the seventh over New Zealand twenty
- 0:19Speaker 2: five for one bit of a slow start, fellas. Now,
- 0:24Speaker 2: I just wanted to broach a topic with you, fellas,
- 0:27Speaker 2: and I I don't like to generalize, and you know
- 0:30Speaker 2: I want you to pull me up if you feel
- 0:32Speaker 2: like I'm okay being in appropriate.
- 0:34Speaker 3: Can I just pull you up straight away and say
- 0:35Speaker 3: you do like generalizing? It's like one of your favorite
- 0:37Speaker 3: things to do.
- 0:38Speaker 4: What do you mean, especially off here?
- 0:40Speaker 2: It's just I was curious to know whether this happens
- 0:45Speaker 2: in your households as.
- 0:46Speaker 3: Well, okay.
- 0:47Speaker 2: And it's to do when to do with woman having haircuts?
- 0:53Speaker 3: Okay, See this already sounds six. I mean, I just
- 0:57Speaker 3: just be weary.
- 0:58Speaker 2: I'll treat you badly, very very carefully. But god, they're
- 1:03Speaker 2: so over the top and getting the most horror of
- 1:06Speaker 2: the move.
- 1:06Speaker 4: Don't they just rain just right out the gate?
- 1:11Speaker 3: Jase, I hear what you're saying, and really I'm just
- 1:14Speaker 3: trying to meet them halfway.
- 1:15Speaker 2: I've got four girls, as you know, or you own them,
- 1:21Speaker 2: beg your pardon.
- 1:22Speaker 3: You've got them.
- 1:23Speaker 2: You're four girls and my wife, right obviously, And I
- 1:27Speaker 2: am sick and tired of the amount of tears, the
- 1:31Speaker 2: amount of tantrums that have gone on in my life
- 1:35Speaker 2: because I've had some crazy, wacky hairdo that never came
- 1:39Speaker 2: off when they went to the hair dresser.
- 1:40Speaker 5: Is that sort of saying that you feel like their
- 1:42Speaker 5: tears are not valid or their emotional responses not welcome
- 1:47Speaker 5: in your house.
- 1:48Speaker 2: It's prophetics and that's what it is. It's pathetic.
- 1:51Speaker 3: So what you're saying, Jasons, whenever, you don't want to be.
- 1:53Speaker 2: Too harsh here, but I reckon, there's been more tears
- 1:58Speaker 2: in my household over haircut, yeah, than anything else in
- 2:02Speaker 2: my life.
- 2:02Speaker 3: So as you say, you've got four daughters and your wife,
- 2:06Speaker 3: and women don't tend to get haircuts as often as
- 2:09Speaker 3: men do. Like I go and get my haircut once
- 2:11Speaker 3: a month, Mogiggitts has done every two weeks, every two weeks.
- 2:13Speaker 2: Which is ironic because he's got a haircut.
- 2:15Speaker 3: Hairhead, which is weird exactly. I think it's to make
- 2:19Speaker 3: himself a lot like he's got here.
- 2:20Speaker 2: Well you see even there, I feel like it's massively
- 2:23Speaker 2: over the top with you too. Yeah, and I know
- 2:26Speaker 2: that you like to faf around with your hair too,
- 2:29Speaker 2: packs and you always got some crazy do going on.
- 2:33Speaker 4: You comment on how fluffy it is when but you.
- 2:36Speaker 2: Know, and I do. I get a haircut once every
- 2:39Speaker 2: two months. We can I do it myself, know.
- 2:41Speaker 4: What I mean?
- 2:42Speaker 3: Yeah, But what I was getting at there is that
- 2:45Speaker 3: once a year, say, your wife might go get a haircut, right, well, no.
- 2:49Speaker 2: It's every sort of six to eight weeks. Oh really, yes, totally.
- 2:53Speaker 3: Okay, so she's running sort of six haircuts a year.
- 2:55Speaker 3: And you know, my wife keys very well, very well,
- 3:00Speaker 3: very well, is very low maintenance.
- 3:04Speaker 2: She's not you know, she's not a big makeup person.
- 3:07Speaker 2: She's not into all that sort of stuff. She doesn't
- 3:09Speaker 2: do manicures and pedicules.
- 3:10Speaker 3: She's been pregged old up whenever I've run.
- 3:12Speaker 2: She probably needs a pedicure, but.
- 3:16Speaker 3: Right, you know what I mean.
- 3:18Speaker 2: So she's not to worry about that sort of stuff.
- 3:20Speaker 2: But when it comes to haircut, she gets all flustered,
- 3:23Speaker 2: she's like, what should I run with? And then she
- 3:25Speaker 2: gets a haircut and it's like, oh, it's not really
- 3:27Speaker 2: what I wanted, or it's not quite I mean, I
- 3:30Speaker 2: just wonder if this is what it's like in households
- 3:32Speaker 2: across the nation.
- 3:33Speaker 5: Do you think that might have something to do with
- 3:35Speaker 5: the fact that a lady getting a haircut is most
- 3:38Speaker 5: often a far larger investment.
- 3:41Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a lot for a man, like because you
- 3:43Speaker 3: can walk into you know, one of those like walking
- 3:47Speaker 3: barbers at like a mall or something, just pay them
- 3:49Speaker 3: ten bucks and say, fix my head, whereas they will
- 3:51Speaker 3: spin it. They'll go to like a fancy hair dresses
- 3:53Speaker 3: and spend a couple of hundred or even No.
- 3:57Speaker 2: You don't need to do Well, that's the other thing, fellous,
- 4:00Speaker 2: hundreds of dollars. Well, why don't you hundreds of dollars
- 4:03Speaker 2: to then come home and burst into tears and talk
- 4:07Speaker 2: about how much they hate it?
- 4:08Speaker 3: Well, why don't you, And this is serious, why don't you,
- 4:11Speaker 3: Pugs you're good with this sort of thing. Why don't
- 4:12Speaker 3: you have a chat to Jason's wife next time? Because
- 4:16Speaker 3: you're very good at walking around and having a shit
- 4:18Speaker 3: lid and just sort of dealing with it.
- 4:22Speaker 2: What's your PUDs. I'd appreciate it.
- 4:25Speaker 4: Man, it's really going to talk into Jason's wife.
- 4:27Speaker 2: And it's funny you should say that, because when my
- 4:29Speaker 2: wife is crying over her here, can I go? Well,
- 4:31Speaker 2: look at old pudsn Do you see him pulling his
- 4:34Speaker 2: eyes out with hes atrocities?
- 4:36Speaker 1: No, The Hierarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Hodarchies.
- 4:42Speaker 2: Indeed the Black Crows there on the Radio Hodarchy Big
- 4:45Speaker 2: Show this Monday evening, fellows, let's give out some advice.
- 4:53Speaker 3: Sixt enough.
- 4:55Speaker 6: At gmail dot com get in touch when that f yes,
- 5:02Speaker 6: it's a really email a juice meet Petty Nips sixty
- 5:04Speaker 6: nine at gmail dot com.
- 5:05Speaker 3: Do get in touch one hundred percent anonymous and you'll
- 5:07Speaker 3: get a prize if we read it out on the show. Apugs. Yeah, man,
- 5:11Speaker 3: what have you got for us today? Brother?
- 5:13Speaker 2: In your own time? God, it's only live radio we're
- 5:15Speaker 2: doing so.
- 5:16Speaker 4: I'm just recoiling from the way you butcher my sting earlier.
- 5:20Speaker 5: We have a pretty short and sweet one here today, guys,
- 5:22Speaker 5: and it sort of lends itself to people's careers.
- 5:25Speaker 4: It's from anonymous, right, and it seys fellas. I have
- 5:29Speaker 4: a dilemma. The boss has offered me a promotion at work.
- 5:33Speaker 5: Congrats Anonymous, but I'm not sure whether to take it
- 5:36Speaker 5: or not. More pay equals more problems. The wife thinks
- 5:41Speaker 5: they should, but I don't think I want to. I
- 5:45Speaker 5: half pass my way through every day and just want
- 5:47Speaker 5: to live a mediocre career in my little box of comfort.
- 5:51Speaker 4: I think I should take it.
- 5:53Speaker 3: Cheers, more money, more problems, jos. I mean you learned
- 5:56Speaker 3: that the hard way. Yeah, man, it is interesting, right
- 6:01Speaker 3: because there are people in life, and I think I
- 6:04Speaker 3: was like this for a while. I'm not anymore. We're
- 6:06Speaker 3: always wanting more, Yeah, you always want to be ear anymore.
- 6:08Speaker 3: You're always wanting a bit of job. The grass is greener, yes,
- 6:11Speaker 3: But if you can get to a point where you're
- 6:13Speaker 3: actually just like, no, this is great. Like this, fella
- 6:16Speaker 3: clearly is. Maybe getting a promotion isn't a good thing
- 6:20Speaker 3: because you might become a manager or you know, you
- 6:22Speaker 3: all of a sudden you're in charge of people. The
- 6:24Speaker 3: thing you love doing, you're not even doing anymore because
- 6:26Speaker 3: you're just managing a team instead.
- 6:28Speaker 5: To count your point, Keezy, I think it's pretty easy
- 6:31Speaker 5: to be comfortable where you are when you're at the
- 6:32Speaker 5: top man like yourself. You know what I mean, you
- 6:36Speaker 5: just had a shooting woman's day easy.
- 6:39Speaker 2: He said his ups and downs as well. I mean
- 6:41Speaker 2: he's got his.
- 6:41Speaker 4: Game of two halves money. Jasey doesn't need a promotion.
- 6:44Speaker 6: Wow.
- 6:44Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't even know if that's coming back. He's
- 6:46Speaker 2: been ditched from a couple of TV shows, do you
- 6:49Speaker 2: know what I mean? And that's that's a classic example
- 6:52Speaker 2: of overreaching, isn't it.
- 6:54Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 6:55Speaker 2: You know what I mean? Me, yeah, yeah. And so
- 6:59Speaker 2: it's been a to just be in your comfort zone
- 7:01Speaker 2: as a top radio DJ like you and Ikezy your
- 7:05Speaker 2: top radio. I'm allg with that. I've had a stellar
- 7:08Speaker 2: career with well.
- 7:09Speaker 3: That's six with you.
- 7:12Speaker 2: You know, money doesn't buy your happiness. Pugs are and.
- 7:15Speaker 3: That's the thing. Like you look at Jason right, he's
- 7:16Speaker 3: had a massive career, like you count the successes like
- 7:19Speaker 3: talk Back, Yeah, Dog Squad. How many seasons are that?
- 7:24Speaker 2: Thirteen?
- 7:24Speaker 3: That's pretty good. I mean it's mostly about the dogs.
- 7:28Speaker 3: Broken Wood, Broken Wood Mysteries thirteen thirteen seasons?
- 7:32Speaker 2: How many, just incidentally are the detch? How many with it?
- 7:36Speaker 3: How many seasons yeah, just the one that I was fired.
- 7:38Speaker 3: Oh right, okay, so yeah, I just think if you
- 7:43Speaker 3: are happy, right, great. However, if your wife thinks you
- 7:47Speaker 3: should do it because maybe some more money would help
- 7:49Speaker 3: the family, maybe you've got.
- 7:50Speaker 2: Kids, Yeah, that's a problem.
- 7:52Speaker 3: That's when you have to stop thinking about yourself and
- 7:54Speaker 3: maybe think, hey, hey, maybe I need to step up here.
- 7:58Speaker 3: But maybe not. Who knows. I don't know the answer
- 7:59Speaker 3: to where you coming to me for advice?
- 8:03Speaker 2: Just just do you, man?
- 8:09Speaker 3: That means nothing, but yeah, just do you, anonymous. I
- 8:12Speaker 3: hope it all works out for you.
- 8:13Speaker 2: Man, No, seriously, if he does. I mean there's people
- 8:16Speaker 2: like pugsn who's massively ambitious. Oh you check anyone under
- 8:20Speaker 2: the will check anyone under the bus to get to
- 8:22Speaker 2: the top.
- 8:23Speaker 3: That's right, And.
- 8:24Speaker 2: Ultimately Pugs may very well get to the top. But
- 8:27Speaker 2: at what price? Keasy?
- 8:28Speaker 3: Yeah, you know what I mean. I don't think he will.
- 8:30Speaker 2: But yeah, he walk people, You'll walk into the office
- 8:32Speaker 2: and people look at him and go that that.
- 8:35Speaker 4: Piece of shit, and I won't be able to hear them.
- 8:38Speaker 3: Yeah, it's already all the way at the top. It's
- 8:40Speaker 3: already happening. To be honest, you're true so yeah, we
- 8:43Speaker 3: I hope that helped Anonymous and for sharing with us,
- 8:46Speaker 3: you will get a prize. What is it, Pugs? The prize?
- 8:49Speaker 5: Huh?
- 8:49Speaker 3: What's the prize?
- 8:50Speaker 4: Pugs Studio B.
- 8:52Speaker 3: Do we not have any prizes?
- 8:55Speaker 4: Sure we do?
- 8:56Speaker 3: What is it? I'll figure it out, backbone shit?
- 8:59Speaker 2: Maybe can you specify?
- 9:00Speaker 3: Please? Maybe you're never gonna get to the top, Pugs
- 9:03Speaker 3: if you don't have prizes lined up?
- 9:04Speaker 2: Right?
- 9:05Speaker 4: My bridge with you, fellous.
- 9:09Speaker 1: The hold Archy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy
- 9:12Speaker 1: tune in week days at four on Radio Hodarchies.
- 9:15Speaker 2: Indeed the Offspring there on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show
- 9:18Speaker 2: this Tuesday evening. The time is five twenty seven. Now
- 9:21Speaker 2: we're going down to dneed and tomorrow. One of the
- 9:24Speaker 2: things we're planning on doing is dropping off a massive
- 9:27Speaker 2: crative toledos to a lucky flat in Danneeda and a
- 9:30Speaker 2: student flat. We've just been talking to Pugs about what
- 9:34Speaker 2: sort of language we need to use, what the young
- 9:36Speaker 2: people are saying these days, and I think we're all
- 9:38Speaker 2: g on that front.
- 9:39Speaker 7: Keyzy, Actually all G is quite a good one. All
- 9:41Speaker 7: G okay good because that means all good. Right, Yeah,
- 9:44Speaker 7: I think so, Yeah, so we are saying this stuff
- 9:46Speaker 7: pretty good. Yeah, I think you guys are set. Honestly,
- 9:49Speaker 7: you run any of those instant.
- 9:51Speaker 3: Rapport Okay, good shit. Another thing, though, is sort of
- 9:55Speaker 3: like outfits. I don't say outfits because outfit sounds a bit,
- 9:58Speaker 3: you know, but like, what should I wear so that
- 10:01Speaker 3: when I go to the flat they look at me
- 10:03Speaker 3: and go, oh wow, that guy's cool.
- 10:04Speaker 2: Well? Can I just start this off by saying I
- 10:08Speaker 2: was asking, sure as hell, don't be wearing that pink jacket.
- 10:10Speaker 2: They'll smack the crap out of you.
- 10:13Speaker 3: You reckon? Yeah, because it's pink. Yeah, what's wrong with pink?
- 10:16Speaker 3: Not nothing, It's just, you know, it seems like a
- 10:18Speaker 3: pretty old fashioned view there, Jason. It's actually faded red.
- 10:21Speaker 3: And that's what I'll say to them before they start
- 10:23Speaker 3: kicking the shit out of me. But hey, it's actually
- 10:25Speaker 3: faded red fillers.
- 10:26Speaker 2: It's more than it's a an Auckland vibe, you know
- 10:29Speaker 2: what I'm saying. It's very manicured and pressed and immacculate.
- 10:34Speaker 3: They like a bit of filth and dnedin, right, So
- 10:36Speaker 3: should I lose the nickkerchief as well?
- 10:38Speaker 2: It's definitely the nickerchief.
- 10:40Speaker 4: The career just on the felth and how they love it.
- 10:43Speaker 5: I think Jason would go really well if you wore
- 10:45Speaker 5: any of your hoodies, year any of your lies, just.
- 10:48Speaker 4: To kind of like really slide in there.
- 10:50Speaker 2: Yeah. I was thinking maybe of compromising a little bit
- 10:52Speaker 2: on the cap front and having it backwards. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 10:56Speaker 2: I'm wearing what I'm wearing because I look good. Yeah,
- 10:59Speaker 2: and it's just like a backwards cat maybe a bit
- 11:01Speaker 2: of bling, you know.
- 11:03Speaker 4: That sort of boy dog sonnies.
- 11:06Speaker 2: It's pretty gray and miserable down there. I don't think
- 11:09Speaker 2: I need sonnies.
- 11:10Speaker 3: As bling are still a thing. Pugs bling, like people
- 11:13Speaker 3: don't wear. Students don't wear bling.
- 11:14Speaker 2: Well look how many bloody rings Pugs has got on.
- 11:17Speaker 3: Well, he's different though. He likes to flaunt his wealth,
- 11:20Speaker 3: whereas students who are down there, they are living on
- 11:22Speaker 3: the bones their ass. I certainly was when I was
- 11:23Speaker 3: a student. So I don't think going down that blinged
- 11:25Speaker 3: up is a good idea.
- 11:26Speaker 6: Is it.
- 11:27Speaker 5: I think it's cool if you wear like heaps of
- 11:29Speaker 5: rings and have as many weird tattoos as possible just before.
- 11:33Speaker 4: Going down there.
- 11:34Speaker 2: Yeah, just randomly random, no real theme, no, just.
- 11:38Speaker 3: So exactly like what you're running.
- 11:40Speaker 4: What's that?
- 11:41Speaker 3: Okay, so run a pug set up. Okay, that's interesting.
- 11:43Speaker 2: I wonder if we can get some fake tat stuff
- 11:47Speaker 2: before we go down.
- 11:48Speaker 3: So fake tats, yeah, just you know those massive fake tests.
- 11:52Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, I could get some fake piercings too, Fellas
- 11:54Speaker 5: if you really want to.
- 11:55Speaker 2: Like like your nose ring, yeah, yeah, but I don't
- 11:58Speaker 2: want to be a deck.
- 12:02Speaker 3: Yeah, I think so let's lock in, Jace. You're gonna
- 12:05Speaker 3: wear that yes hat backwards. I'll lose the pink jacket
- 12:08Speaker 3: and the neckerchief.
- 12:09Speaker 2: It's just too Aukland.
- 12:10Speaker 3: Okay, I'll put on a swany or something. Yeah, now
- 12:13Speaker 3: you talking, Yeah, that's very deneed and pugs. You're just
- 12:16Speaker 3: going to go as you are with your weird tattoos
- 12:18Speaker 3: and your piercings and stuff.
- 12:19Speaker 4: Yeah, and my heaps and rings and stuff.
- 12:20Speaker 3: And I think, Jase, if overnight you get into a
- 12:24Speaker 3: bunch of massive fake tats and then I think we sorted.
- 12:28Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 12:30Speaker 5: Actually, Jace, if you want to if people ask, hey,
- 12:33Speaker 5: you've been or whatever, and you want to say that
- 12:34Speaker 5: you've been busy or that you've been like enjoying the
- 12:36Speaker 5: city life, if you tell them that you've been gooning,
- 12:41Speaker 5: they'll get right around.
- 12:43Speaker 3: Really, is it a thing?
- 12:44Speaker 5: Yeah, okay, so it's like, oh, you know, like instead
- 12:47Speaker 5: of chilling, I've.
- 12:49Speaker 3: Been gooning.
- 12:52Speaker 1: The whole Aching Big Show with Jace, Mike and Kyzy
- 12:55Speaker 1: tune in week days at four on Radio hod Achi
