Latest / Brandon Fogal Evolution / #199 - Tucker’s Most Controversial Guest Ever? The Nick Fuentes Backlash Explained
Transcript
- 0:00We're just going to start rolling a little bit different today.
- 0:02I'm just kind of waiting. Usually I have a little intro that comes in.
- 0:05We're just scrapping that. All right, we're going to start something new.
- 0:10Taking the hourglass, which is technically not an hour, but we are turning it over.
- 0:15Got the American flag here. You can see Mr. Bigglesworth is in the back.
- 0:19And we're going to just start it off with this. Let me actually take this off.
- 0:23I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic
- 0:28for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all.
- 0:35We're going to take a look at the Nick Fuentes, Tucker Carlson saga that started
- 0:42this summer back in probably about August, end of July, and has culminated in last week.
- 0:49Tucker brought Nick Fuentes on his show, which has just received enormous backlash from everyone.
- 0:58And I, I know everyone out there is a lot of people haven't picked a side.
- 1:02A lot of people are kind of just indifferent.
- 1:04They're not in tune with what's going on.
- 1:06Uh, but some people are, and I know I'm going to say a lot of things that tick everyone off.
- 1:12I'm going to say things because I am not lockstep with anyone.
- 1:16I'm not lockstep with Trump. I'm not lockstep with Israel.
- 1:20I'm not lockstep with Tucker. I'm not lockstep with Nick.
- 1:23I'm going to just say what I think. And as the show is evolution,
- 1:28we evolve, we evolve in our mindset.
- 1:31You know, I don't believe in the whole, we evolve from monkeys and everything like that.
- 1:34We came from the primordial soup, but I do believe that we, our opinions change, our mindset shifts.
- 1:42We don't believe the same thing that we believed yesterday. We are constantly
- 1:46evolving in our views and opinions. as anyone that's out there.
- 1:50You're not the same person that you are today as you were yesterday, you know, or vice versa.
- 1:55I'm just going to say what I think and mean what I say and say what I think,
- 1:58you know, and I'm not going to filter things as much as I tend to do in regular life.
- 2:03I don't know about you. If you're out there and you just filter everything,
- 2:06I am the ultimate filter board where everything that I say, I can't even have
- 2:11a conversation sometimes with regular people because I'm thinking about three
- 2:14lines that I would say ahead of time.
- 2:17And I I've missed the point. I've missed the thing. I haven't said what it was
- 2:20on my mind, what I really believe, because I don't want to shake people up.
- 2:24I don't want to offend them.
- 2:25I don't want them to look at me differently than I perceive and think that they
- 2:29should look at me, you know, and everybody's different.
- 2:32Everybody is growing in their whole structure that is in this world right now,
- 2:37where you're at right now, you're there for a reason.
- 2:41You're there for a reason and you're trying to just figure it out because I
- 2:44know I've been offline probably for about over a month now and not much has
- 2:50happened, right? I mean, nothing's really been happening right in this world.
- 2:53I think 2025 has been the craziest year that I've ever experienced.
- 2:58And I was not expecting when we started going into 2025 last year,
- 3:03I thought, man, this everything is we're going up, baby, up, up, up.
- 3:08You know, it's everything's going to be perfect and amazing and nothing's going to go bad.
- 3:13Nothing could go wrong. But I want to bring it into the whole because what has
- 3:17been on my mind and what I've like kind of been glued into, locked into,
- 3:21has been Nick Fuentes probably since this summer.
- 3:25And he would say it's his...
- 3:29What does he call it? His generational run, which I still don't understand.
- 3:33He says it every time and he explains it to people.
- 3:37You could say like, and I've seen before, we are living in cancel culture and
- 3:42cancel culture culture for Nick Fuentes has been next level.
- 3:46And it's been from both sides.
- 3:49I don't agree with everything that he says. I agree with a lot of what he says
- 3:53in certain aspects of it.
- 3:55And you got to be very nuanced in explaining things.
- 3:57I don't agree with everything he says, you know, and the way he says it,
- 4:01you know, but he is saying a lot of things right.
- 4:05And that's why I think even from the right, he has been so canceled and his,
- 4:10his cancellation has come primarily from the right side of the political structure.
- 4:17That's where it's come from. It hasn't come from the right, use the left to remove Nick.
- 4:22And he was off the map for the last, probably like four or five years and he's
- 4:27very young himself, but now he's being unleashed onto the public and it culminated,
- 4:33it climaxed in the Tucker Carlson interview that happened last week and everyone saw him.
- 4:40He's been out there and you can find him on Rumble.
- 4:44That's the place where you're going to find him because pretty much he's off
- 4:46of YouTube. He can't be on YouTube himself.
- 4:49He can't run a show on YouTube or pretty much most things that are out there, Spotify.
- 4:53He can't run accounts himself on Instagram, on TikTok, on just mainstream platforms,
- 4:59because he's been silenced. He's been silenced.
- 5:03And I always get hesitant because I know once I start talking about this and
- 5:07talking about him, because people will be cheering on, huh? Yeah, yeah.
- 5:11And then you say something wrong. You say that doesn't go align with everything
- 5:14that you believe in him or with.
- 5:19I'm tied to this person and to this idea, you know, and if you say anything
- 5:24that crosses that, I'm not going to be open-minded and at least hear you out.
- 5:28He's got this, like, he's got this whole mob that follows him that is what is called the Groypers.
- 5:36The Groypers are out there and they are tenacious as hell.
- 5:40They will come at you and destroy you. And when he had this conversation with
- 5:45Andrew Tate this summer, it was probably maybe August or so.
- 5:49I could see Andrew Tate, who is this like guy who's like a man's man, macho man.
- 5:54I could see it in his eyes that he was scared to say certain things.
- 5:59He didn't want this onslaught of this group, this following that will try to destroy you.
- 6:07So now we got so many things lined up. Tucker put himself in a lot of hot water
- 6:11by using his platform to platform Nick and bring him on there and everybody
- 6:16is saying cancel and remove tucker.
- 6:20But Tucker did the right thing. He did the right thing by bringing him on there.
- 6:24If you're ever on the side where we need to burn books or we need to say,
- 6:29you can't speak about this person or you can't speak about this idea,
- 6:32I think you're in wrong territory.
- 6:34Even if you're Israel, which I am, I support Israel, but I am America first.
- 6:41I'm America first because of my, just my position in life. I was born into this nation.
- 6:45I'm a Gentile. I'm not Jewish. I believe in, I believe we can fundamentally
- 6:51support the nation that we are a part of and that we are born into.
- 6:55This is our birthright. So there is this hyper obsession about,
- 7:00I would see from Nick's eyes, he sees everything, he sees everything through
- 7:04this lens, this prism of Israel,
- 7:07Jews are behind everything, which I would say always, I said this repeatedly.
- 7:14Yes, Yes, they are.
- 7:16I see it now. I didn't always see it. I didn't view everything through that lens.
- 7:22I didn't. I mean, I thought Israel was just obscure and nobody talked about them.
- 7:26We learned about them in Sunday school and talking about them going to church,
- 7:30you know, and reading the Bible.
- 7:31But now it's like they are behind every conspiracy.
- 7:35And I guess this has been going on for years, I guess.
- 7:37People have this mindset of because they are the gift that keeps on giving.
- 7:41If you're talking Israel, there's something new every day under the sun.
- 7:45There's something new and fresh and some other conspiracy thing,
- 7:48something else that's, you know, the Jews are behind it. The Jews did it.
- 7:52You know, they did everything, you know, they're behind every nefarious act in this world.
- 7:56It's the Jews or Israel. And you have to have that distinction between Israel
- 8:00and the Jews, you know, and even Bible believing Christians,
- 8:04a lot of them out there, they don't see the nation that we see as Israel that
- 8:07is in this world right now as the same nation of the Bible.
- 8:11I would say it is, but I'm not saying that they're perfect. They have never been perfect.
- 8:18And if you want to see a record of their imperfection, you would go to the whole
- 8:24Bible. And it culminated in them sending Jesus Christ, their Messiah, to the cross.
- 8:31But every prophet, every person of God was just excoriated and brutally beaten
- 8:39and just talked about evilly from pretty much Moses until Jesus.
- 8:46You know, and you could say even today, if you're representing Jesus,
- 8:49you know, people within Israel, they have not accepted him.
- 8:53They have not embraced him. So they're still speaking, you know,
- 8:57they're saying Jesus is not the Christ. That is the spirit of Antichrist.
- 9:01But it does not change their position. You know, they're still there, you know.
- 9:05But I wanted to primarily talk about with Tucker Carlson.
- 9:09And where do we go from here? Where does Tucker go from here?
- 9:12I don't think he's too worried about it. And in this culture,
- 9:17if you are a person that has tried to be canceled, if people want to cancel you,
- 9:21you're in good territory and you're probably going to blow up and become a household
- 9:25name eventually, you know, and the perfect example of that is Nick Fuentes.
- 9:31Canceling people only adds eventually fuel
- 9:35to their fire you know they could crumble you know and give up you know and
- 9:39just go into the you know never come out of the wilderness and never come out
- 9:44and and tell people what they really believe in and just kind of just melt and
- 9:48go into obscurity or they could rise it could be something that just causes them to rise and,
- 9:55And I don't, I don't think Tucker's going to have any problem.
- 9:57He's not a person that worries about people's opinions.
- 10:00And I think you have to not worry about people's opinions and thoughts and what
- 10:03they, anything that they're saying about you to survive.
- 10:08But it's coming from both sides. It's coming from both sides.
- 10:11We're going to switch it up a little bit.
- 10:11We're going to look at, I'm just going to kind of bounce around,
- 10:14you know, this is even, you can see, I'm going to scan down here a little bit.
- 10:18It's coming from, it's not, it's an equal opportunity destroying
- 10:23effect he is being like
- 10:25like very prominent people you could say
- 10:28charlie kirk to the till his last day on
- 10:32this earth he was not in favor of nick fuentes he never was and that's why i
- 10:38i i was actually very startled and like the best i i wanted to see the debate
- 10:44everyone wanted to see the debate or maybe just it doesn't have to i think we're
- 10:49growing we're putting up our our big boy pants.
- 10:51We don't need to have debate over everything. We can just talk things out.
- 10:55I think debates themselves, it's fun to say that word because you want to see
- 10:59one person's view, a clash with somebody else's, but just a conversation,
- 11:03just a conversation and talking to them,
- 11:06which is, it surprised me that all those years, and I think eventually Charlie
- 11:12Kirk would have had a conversation with Nick Fuentes.
- 11:16He would have if his life wasn't tragically ended far too soon.
- 11:20But him dying has now like made, almost made the opportunity for Nick to rise.
- 11:27And I think, I just saw Brandon Tatum the other day.
- 11:30He tweeted out, at Nick, you know, they're going back and forth and everything. He's.
- 11:34Brandon Tatum says, you're going to be your, what is it?
- 11:37A light in the pan or I don't even know something, a flash in the pan,
- 11:40but you're going to be irrelevant in a year or two, which I mean, I doubt that.
- 11:46I doubt that. And for better or for worse, Nick Fuentes is here.
- 11:52There are so many things I like, I'm going to say, I'm going to say what I think
- 11:55him having this attack of the Jews or the attack of Israel and everything about
- 12:01that, I don't think that ends well.
- 12:03It might be a flash in the pan for so many years, but overall,
- 12:08the tides of history and just everything about Israel, they come out on top.
- 12:13And it's because they have that unique position as God's people.
- 12:18They are in rejection of Jesus, but they're still his people.
- 12:22They're still, they have a unique covenant relationship with God.
- 12:25And that's why you could say like there's been flashes of
- 12:29i just think of people throughout history you know
- 12:31hitler tried to destroy the jews you know that i guess that's becoming debatable
- 12:35to certain people in the holocaust and being like a holocaust denial is now
- 12:39becoming normal and i i honestly i mean i i i probably just learned what we
- 12:45learned in school and watched what we've seen in movies you know and it but
- 12:49there's holocausts that are happening all the time all the time Christians,
- 12:53just every type of people group across the world, and Jews are no different.
- 12:57They experienced something that was vitriol, and there is a difference between people.
- 13:03That's why I'm going to say this.
- 13:07This Haman, I think it's his name Haman from the book of Esther, that.
- 13:11The spirit that just does not that if you start seeing Jews as evil because
- 13:16they're Jews, you went too far.
- 13:18I think we can question Israel and like our relationship as the United States
- 13:24of America with Israel without going to we need to destroy the Jews.
- 13:29And I think that's where you have to be very nuanced with which Nick, I think he is.
- 13:34But people know him by clips. They see clips of him saying the craziest.
- 13:39Sometimes it seems evil.
- 13:41And I think that Tucker bringing him on just kind of opened him up to the onslaught
- 13:47of what Nick Fuentes has experienced for the last six years.
- 13:51There's so much that we could talk about this and so much we could get into,
- 13:54but I just wanted to start afresh with this.
- 13:57And we're going to change this up a little bit, the way that I do this every
- 14:00day, but my name is Brandon Fogel. This is Evolution.
- 14:03Subscribe, share with everyone, and watch this next video that pops up,
- 14:09you know, that we, we, all that good stuff that everyone knows that happens
- 14:12every day, switch back a little bit.
- 14:14And I will have the America flag here because this is America first.
- 14:18I believe in American first because I, because who I am.
- 14:22And I think everyone out there, I think if we get in that mindset,
- 14:24but I think we should use our, our energy to having Israel using them.
- 14:32You know, if you're saying they were going to use us for everything,
- 14:34everything bad and for their purposes, why don't we use them for our purposes?
- 14:38Not just say, get out of here, go back to Israel.
- 14:41We can glean the good from everything. Let's just have open minds,
- 14:46open hearts, and just speak what we think. All right, we'll leave it at that. Have a good day.
