- 2:06Speaker 2: Oh, the Minnesota deuce. That's right. I totally forgot about
- 2:09Speaker 2: that one. That was the Minnesota deuce himself.

- 2:17Speaker 5: have this new term.
- 2:23Speaker 2: PhD of key Forge, Doctor m Sheet, Hello, I totally
- 2:28Speaker 2: forgot about the Minnesota deuce.
- 2:30Speaker 5: And everyone else who's not even good enough to be
- 2:32Speaker 5: a deuce, got it?
- 2:34Speaker 2: That's that's the rest. At least you're a deuce. Yeah,
- 2:38Speaker 2: I don't think this is a good thing with this.
- 2:40Speaker 2: The only deuce I was was Owen deuce on day one.
- 2:44Speaker 2: You I agree with that because I'm poopy decks. But anyways,
- 2:49Speaker 2: when's we got KFC to recap and some bitching to do.
- 2:56Speaker 2: I'm excited. I'm excited. But let's stick around on with Wednesday.
- 3:01Speaker 2: Great time. It was good. Some of us flew in,
- 3:03Speaker 2: some of us drove in. Myself and Sheep went up
- 3:08Speaker 2: early Wednesday morning so that we could do Whirlie ball
- 3:12Speaker 2: and he could do his Vault Warrior dinner. Some of
- 3:17Speaker 2: us had to work, Yep, some of us had to
- 3:19Speaker 2: work and didn't come up till later. I was. I
- 3:22Speaker 2: was gravely disappointed that my first round draft pick did
- 3:25Speaker 2: not make it until much later. Sor right. I took
- 3:28Speaker 2: Luke instead. But anyway, I hear Luke carried you. You
- 3:34Speaker 2: know what? That good trade?
- 3:37Speaker 4: I I.
- 3:38Speaker 2: We'll talk about it. We'll talk about it. But how
- 3:40Speaker 2: was the Vault Warrior dinner? Which? What did you do?
- 3:43Speaker 4: My chicken was really dry?
- 3:48Speaker 2: Sweet? The Axles place is that where you were?
- 3:50Speaker 4: Yes, we were at Axles.
- 3:53Speaker 2: There were.
- 3:55Speaker 3: Not a ton like thirty I think thirty or something
- 3:59Speaker 3: thirty thirty three.
- 4:00Speaker 4: I didn't actually count.
- 4:03Speaker 3: The only two GG employees were Josh and Christian Peterson.
- 4:10Speaker 2: Uh.
- 4:11Speaker 4: They said a couple of words.
- 4:14Speaker 2: We got our free drinks.
- 4:18Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean it was it was fine. I got
- 4:25Speaker 3: to complain about some issues with the retail store and
- 4:30Speaker 3: not getting answers back from GG after I send in things,
- 4:34Speaker 3: and Christian Peterson was surprised and said he look into it,
- 4:37Speaker 3: which he did. I got emails by the end of
- 4:39Speaker 3: that weekend for my retail things.
- 4:41Speaker 2: So wonder who got taken care of? I wonder who
- 4:45Speaker 2: got an as on Monday?
- 4:48Speaker 4: Yeah, no, because that was Whatesday. That guy got an
- 4:51Speaker 4: ask chewing on Thursday.
- 4:52Speaker 2: Oh yeah, well, well you think they got to ask
- 4:55Speaker 2: chewing on KFC it's a holiday weekend.
- 4:58Speaker 4: Well, I mean he got his emails out me, okay,
- 5:01Speaker 4: fair enough.
- 5:02Speaker 5: I will say that CTP did come back on Sunday
- 5:06Speaker 5: while we were doing the kind of a word ceremony
- 5:09Speaker 5: and I get over here, He's like, yeah, I was
- 5:11Speaker 5: just working over there, so you know he was working
- 5:14Speaker 5: on Sunday.
- 5:14Speaker 2: Give him credit for that. Spit shine in the whole boat.
- 5:21Speaker 3: And then yeah, but I don't think there was a
- 5:23Speaker 3: I mean, like during the dinner, we probably got a
- 5:26Speaker 3: light preview of what got covered in the Meet the
- 5:30Speaker 3: Ghosts and the the other one to Meet the Ghosts
- 5:35Speaker 3: and the keynote. There was nothing, nothing too exciting or new.
- 5:42Speaker 3: I mean Peterson talked a little bit about the board game.
- 5:45Speaker 4: Arena thing there.
- 5:48Speaker 2: That implication was nice.
- 5:51Speaker 3: I don't know, I was I was on the Peterson table,
- 5:53Speaker 3: so I have no idea what Josh talk about.
- 5:58Speaker 2: Probably suns, yeah, probably guys are playing on the other side.
- 6:09Speaker 2: The Wordly Ball twenty twenty five Worldly Ball Championship was
- 6:14Speaker 2: going on, and if there was one trophy you didn't
- 6:17Speaker 2: want to go home without, it was the Worldly Ball Championship. Yeah,
- 6:23Speaker 2: I mean this was this was right, and that it
- 6:26Speaker 2: was the scavenge Party of the year, right, Yes, well
- 6:30Speaker 2: there is only one a year, but yes, yes, that's
- 6:34Speaker 2: what I'm saying. And of course, as always, City put
- 6:38Speaker 2: on a great show along with some others that that
- 6:41Speaker 2: helped out. And yeah, there was lots of food, lots
- 6:47Speaker 2: of drink, I mean lots of drink. I was, I
- 6:50Speaker 2: was drinking a lot. Yeah, yeah, I don't know.
- 6:55Speaker 4: I get to drink a lot. I got one drink.
- 6:58Speaker 2: Ticket, that's it. How many you stealing? Uh?
- 7:03Speaker 4: At least one more? You know, there was a lot
- 7:06Speaker 4: of probably two more.
- 7:08Speaker 3: By the end of the night. Because I think I
- 7:11Speaker 3: was the last person to get a drink too.
- 7:15Speaker 2: A lot of faces that weren't there this year. One
- 7:19Speaker 2: comes to mind. That's also a vault where that's Aviator.
- 7:23Speaker 3: Yeah, Aviator did not come. Random Joe didn't come this year. Yeah,
- 7:33Speaker 3: those are two I can think of, because there are
- 7:34Speaker 3: the two people I sat next to last year, and
- 7:36Speaker 3: neither were here. So I upset them so greatly they
- 7:40Speaker 3: didn't even come back.
- 7:41Speaker 5: I mean, doctor, I understand one hundred percent, so I keep.
- 7:49Speaker 2: Coming back though. But if you weren't on the rookies team,
- 7:55Speaker 2: you were a bunch of losers because the rookies team
- 7:59Speaker 2: took everything.
- 8:01Speaker 4: Although they did let you fall in a hole.
- 8:03Speaker 2: Yeah, I would say we didn't continue the tradition of
- 8:06Speaker 2: somebody gets injured at the Scrubs revenge party. This year.
- 8:10Speaker 2: It was me, Wow, this is disappointing. Yeah, you aren't
- 8:17Speaker 2: even there to see it for the rest of the weekend. Well, yeah,
- 8:20Speaker 2: my knee is a fucking size of a balloon. That's
- 8:24Speaker 2: a really small balloon, man. Well never mind.
- 8:29Speaker 4: I mean, balloons can be all shapes and.
- 8:32Speaker 2: Sizes, trail like like a poodle. My knees the.
- 8:36Speaker 4: Sides of a balloon.
- 8:38Speaker 2: I wasn't going off showing you guys. But yeah, it's
- 8:41Speaker 2: it's big. It's still I don't know when I rhyme
- 8:46Speaker 2: when I arrived a little late, right, yeah, got off
- 8:49Speaker 2: my plane, I said, take me straight to Wirlely Ball,
- 8:52Speaker 2: Right straight to the ball up yep, walk in the
- 8:56Speaker 2: front door, look around, you know, saying hi to everyone.
- 9:01Speaker 2: There's the Wookie, no shirt on, just living life. I
- 9:07Speaker 2: was living my best life. Yeah, and in my best
- 9:11Speaker 2: life backlass.
- 9:15Speaker 4: Only the Wookie could almost get kicked out at Warley Ball.
- 9:20Speaker 2: So that bitch haded out for me after I fell
- 9:22Speaker 2: in that hole.
- 9:25Speaker 3: Yeah, Sydney got to talking to about you, so you
- 9:29Speaker 3: were you were just a naughty boy.
- 9:31Speaker 2: You want to know what's bullshit? And she was bitching
- 9:33Speaker 2: about me getting out of my car. But she's the
- 9:35Speaker 2: one who asked me to get out of the car
- 9:36Speaker 2: to get the ball, which is depending during the game
- 9:43Speaker 2: that got that happened. That happened one time, and you remember, no,
- 9:49Speaker 2: it only happened one time, And the other two times
- 9:53Speaker 2: were because she didn't have any more balls and somebody
- 9:55Speaker 2: had to go get the ball, and I volunteered. Now
- 10:00Speaker 2: I know better for next time, I'd just be like
- 10:02Speaker 2: you want to know what earn your pay, Go get
- 10:03Speaker 2: me a ball. I'm not get out of this cart.
- 10:06Speaker 5: What I was hearing is that Wookie was getting balls.
- 10:09Speaker 2: Is this correct? This is correct? All I was good.
- 10:13Speaker 3: I also got to play one game a WHIRLI ball
- 10:16Speaker 3: before I left, and uh, I just put my racket
- 10:20Speaker 3: thing down and then just started trying to ram the
- 10:25Speaker 3: poor uh, the poor Dutch guys right off the course.
- 10:28Speaker 3: My goal was just knock one out of their car
- 10:31Speaker 3: or steel, which I did. I just stole Judo's racket
- 10:34Speaker 3: and threw it across the court.
- 10:37Speaker 2: I as well did that, but it wasn't until Lord
- 10:39Speaker 2: Judeo I forgot who I did it us so much.
- 10:43Speaker 2: They loved us. We were great.
- 10:47Speaker 5: My highlight on on the ride up, outside of riding
- 10:51Speaker 5: with the one amazing local car who you know, rode
- 10:53Speaker 5: with me and was very very generous, was that I
- 10:55Speaker 5: did not get molested on the way up.
- 10:57Speaker 2: So that was that was that was really able experience
- 11:00Speaker 2: riding up.
- 11:03Speaker 4: Molested this time. I thought it was great. Yea, so great.
- 11:06Speaker 3: I molested at our foreign diplomat and this is.
- 11:16Speaker 2: I just got to get a better molester, that's all. Yeah,
- 11:19Speaker 2: you got it.
- 11:19Speaker 6: Back.
- 11:20Speaker 2: I'm sorry, I'm not good in the community. We're working
- 11:24Speaker 2: on it. We're working on it. Well, I so my
- 11:29Speaker 2: this was my worrybo experience. Right, So I show up,
- 11:31Speaker 2: you know, wok, he's there without a shirt. Okay, say
- 11:34Speaker 2: hi to everyone. I'm like, oh, there's there's a bar.
- 11:36Speaker 2: I'm gonna get a drink. It's like over, get a
- 11:39Speaker 2: drink and give myself a you know, subourban something or other.
- 11:44Speaker 2: Come down and they're like, you're on. You have to
- 11:48Speaker 2: get in. Your team's up. I'm like, oh, so I
- 11:51Speaker 2: slam my, slam my, old fashioned get out of the court,
- 11:55Speaker 2: drive around, have a good ass time, get off the court, up,
- 12:00Speaker 2: go to the bar, get another get another bourbon, come
- 12:04Speaker 2: on down and they're like, hey, we need another player.
- 12:08Speaker 2: You wouldn't get out of the court. Like yeah, so
- 12:09Speaker 2: I smashed that bourbon right out of the court. Just
- 12:13Speaker 2: rinse and repeat. That was my That was my night.
- 12:19Speaker 3: I would like to cover one more thing from Warli
- 12:22Speaker 3: Ball is. According to Sydney, you guys were all signed
- 12:26Speaker 3: a random uh card value and suit from.
- 12:31Speaker 2: A deck of cards. Correct, And I don't believe it
- 12:35Speaker 2: was random at all. Well, two people weren't random yes, yes,
- 12:41Speaker 2: but they also made e Walk an ace.
- 12:46Speaker 4: The race.
- 12:47Speaker 3: What she did actually make all the twos and threes
- 12:55Speaker 3: vault warriors except for.
- 12:59Speaker 4: Except for uh myself and Hobo.
- 13:03Speaker 2: Yes, you were both jokers.
- 13:06Speaker 4: We got to be jokers.
- 13:08Speaker 3: But now like Marcus was an ace and e Walk
- 13:11Speaker 3: was an ace, like nah, nah, she picked them.
- 13:15Speaker 2: That was something random stupid. I was an eight of clubs.
- 13:21Speaker 4: You guys got to do more as kiss and.
- 13:23Speaker 5: I guess cards cards just came up in the right
- 13:26Speaker 5: spot for us.
- 13:27Speaker 2: That's gonna fall this up one man. Yep. I think
- 13:31Speaker 2: it was like a four. Maybe I'll about the ship
- 13:34Speaker 2: list that don't know it.
- 13:37Speaker 5: And poker or it could have just been or it
- 13:39Speaker 5: could have just been random.
- 13:41Speaker 2: Any two cards are good and poker, right ah.
- 13:45Speaker 3: Now, this is far more fun if it's not random
- 13:48Speaker 3: and drass cards on the ship list.
- 13:50Speaker 2: Yeah. Oh yeah, well, you know, things happen. I love
- 13:54Speaker 2: your dress, You're great. The uh you know it was
- 13:58Speaker 2: also awesome. It was the party by back, party bus
- 14:00Speaker 2: to and fro Yeah. Yeah, the party bus two there
- 14:05Speaker 2: was pretty awesome too. I believe Sheep started cracking champagne
- 14:09Speaker 2: at the bright hour of four thirty.
- 14:12Speaker 4: I did not open that bottle of champagne. I drank
- 14:16Speaker 4: Kyle's beer.
- 14:17Speaker 2: Oh, I mean I definitely opened champagne. Sydney open Champagne
- 14:23Speaker 2: on the way out. I made us chokest the bottle
- 14:26Speaker 2: of champagne on the way back to.
- 14:28Speaker 4: The Vault Warrior dinner with all the Vault Warriors.
- 14:32Speaker 2: Let me say, somebody is somebody opening champagne? I didn't
- 14:34Speaker 2: know who it was. And then uh, yeah, Drascar, you
- 14:38Speaker 2: were on the you were on the ride back with me,
- 14:39Speaker 2: weren't you when we did the sing along? Hell, yeah,
- 14:42Speaker 2: yeah we're Yeah, we had a little what were you singing?
- 14:48Speaker 2: Whatever was on the playlist? All right, Yeah, that's a
- 14:55Speaker 2: win for looking It was wretched. Yeah, no, it was
- 14:58Speaker 2: the greatest playlist ever. You don't even like music?
- 15:04Speaker 4: Yeah, this is correct. That's why it was.
- 15:06Speaker 2: Richard, What did you sing I'm just a girl from
- 15:12Speaker 2: no doubt? No I didn't. I was not on the pan.
- 15:15Speaker 2: I would have been a good choice. I would have
- 15:16Speaker 2: been awesome.
- 15:17Speaker 3: Now that we covered the non key forgeduff, you want
- 15:21Speaker 3: to move key forge?
- 15:23Speaker 2: Yeah, you want to move into Thursday? Is that you're
- 15:25Speaker 2: saying a lot of TV. That's what this weekend was
- 15:29Speaker 2: a lot of TV.
- 15:30Speaker 6: A lot of again later a lot of ridiculous amount
- 15:36Speaker 6: of turns being messed up because that card was forgot
- 15:39Speaker 6: to be triggered.
- 15:40Speaker 2: A lot of HPV happened. We had the l c Q,
- 15:46Speaker 2: which how many people got in from the l c Q,
- 15:51Speaker 2: I feel like that number was very low this year.
- 15:54Speaker 2: It was only like seven total seats five Alliance to
- 15:59Speaker 2: see Field and that's right.
- 16:02Speaker 5: There was zero ARCon slots. So it was the last
- 16:05Speaker 5: chance qualifier zero offered.
- 16:10Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, we so I think last year they
- 16:12Speaker 2: had more seats, right than I think it was the
- 16:16Speaker 2: same amount of seats they just because of the second
- 16:20Speaker 2: because they got down.
- 16:21Speaker 3: They they had seats for every format last year and
- 16:24Speaker 3: they got to.
- 16:25Speaker 2: Like right, but remember there were less invites player, right,
- 16:29Speaker 2: but they got only first place in Vault Warriors got
- 16:33Speaker 2: invites last year. This year first and second both got invites,
- 16:37Speaker 2: so there was well.
- 16:39Speaker 5: Yeah, they actually over like there were more invites handed
- 16:44Speaker 5: out than actual slots at World's for That was true
- 16:47Speaker 5: last year too, Yeah, except the people didn't show up.
- 16:50Speaker 2: You got to have a play in any case they
- 16:52Speaker 2: actually show up, and they do have a plan. If
- 16:54Speaker 2: they show up, they expand the bracket or don't.
- 17:00Speaker 5: So so here here's Here's where then it gets tricky
- 17:03Speaker 5: because Josh came in and said made an announcement that
- 17:06Speaker 5: they would go ahead and have additional slots because they
- 17:09Speaker 5: had overbooked, and that would be two, and then promptly
- 17:14Speaker 5: when I had and reverted back to Nope, that's not
- 17:18Speaker 5: really what I meant.
- 17:21Speaker 2: Yes, No, he did not. He said maybe two, maybe two, yeah,
- 17:31Speaker 2: and what what was trying to any It would be
- 17:34Speaker 2: maybe two to round out the numbers. And then they
- 17:37Speaker 2: found that they had everybody, so they didn't give away
- 17:39Speaker 2: any Yeah.
- 17:40Speaker 5: So what ends up what was shown online and what
- 17:44Speaker 5: was reported beforehand, is that if they have an odd number,
- 17:48Speaker 5: you would add in a person so that it would
- 17:50Speaker 5: become an even amount.
- 17:51Speaker 2: I think that's the right call.
- 17:53Speaker 5: But as soon as you say too, you can't go
- 17:54Speaker 5: back and reduce it to one or zero. And whether
- 17:58Speaker 5: you see it or not, they're multiple vials that happen.
- 18:01Speaker 5: They just did it, and that's the problem. But as
- 18:04Speaker 5: a last chance qualifier, you have to have if someone
- 18:07Speaker 5: came there and they wanted just to play arkon and
- 18:10Speaker 5: they didn't even have a chance at that for Worlds
- 18:12Speaker 5: that's a miss, and that's an easy fix to just
- 18:15Speaker 5: put you're already past your amount, put plus two people.
- 18:18Speaker 5: If it's an even amount, put plus one. If it's
- 18:20Speaker 5: an odd or plus or plus.
- 18:22Speaker 4: It was a big deal.
- 18:25Speaker 2: Agreed.
- 18:25Speaker 5: Again, it's one of those things that's small. But those
- 18:30Speaker 5: little ticki tac decisions just aren't necessary. We had a
- 18:34Speaker 5: great event overall, but there's no reason if the number
- 18:38Speaker 5: is already beyond twenty four. The difference of twenty six
- 18:41Speaker 5: or twenty eight matters very little.
- 18:43Speaker 2: But when you say something, it has an impact on
- 18:45Speaker 2: the community to hear your word. Okay, I heard him
- 18:53Speaker 2: say maybe two if any, and that's neither. That's neither
- 18:59Speaker 2: heighten nor hair. How I went into and I went
- 19:07Speaker 2: back to the hotel. My decks were pooh, malicious, bad bad.
- 19:15Speaker 2: So here's here's a Here were my options, right? I
- 19:17Speaker 2: opened one deck with shadows redemption or untamed. And then
- 19:26Speaker 2: I opened another deck and that had Saurian redemption untamed.
- 19:33Speaker 2: And then I opened another deck and it had logos
- 19:36Speaker 2: redemption and untamed. So what do you think I did
- 19:43Speaker 2: Loyo's redemption on tame. Yeah, I took all. I took
- 19:45Speaker 2: one house from each one and did locals redemption on tape,
- 19:48Speaker 2: which also were poopy houses. None of the houses were good.
- 19:54Speaker 3: I lived that life, but I lived that life on
- 19:58Speaker 3: the second day.
- 19:59Speaker 2: Yeah, well, no you didn't. Your deck was significant. Oh
- 20:02Speaker 2: you mean in worlds? Yeah, because I did not have
- 20:08Speaker 2: any of the cards you want to have in logo
- 20:11Speaker 2: in well, okay, I had. I had. I had triple
- 20:13Speaker 2: parallel thinkings. That was my big logos ability. And then
- 20:21Speaker 2: I didn't have any of the things. No, I didn't
- 20:25Speaker 2: have any of the story and cards you want to see, right.
- 20:30Speaker 2: I think I had sentimentary nap and that was probably
- 20:35Speaker 2: about it. I had that dumb one who comes on
- 20:37Speaker 2: your opponent's side of the field, YadA YadA. And then
- 20:41Speaker 2: I did not have any of the good steal, not
- 20:45Speaker 2: even a bandit culver in my in my shadows. So
- 20:49Speaker 2: I went on to pretty good culver, very good. M hmm.
- 20:56Speaker 2: We'll hear more about that later, Yeah, yeah we will.
- 21:01Speaker 2: I don't dress. How do you do? Uh? So I
- 21:04Speaker 2: I did? Okay, Uh, I don't. I don't know if
- 21:08Speaker 2: I won three games or four games, I don't remember,
- 21:12Speaker 2: but I had I actually had like a fun deck.
- 21:17Speaker 2: I had like a janky weird deck, which you know,
- 21:21Speaker 2: I kind of like I had a so my my
- 21:26Speaker 2: shadows pod was a double rigged lottery, double Miasma, and
- 21:31Speaker 2: then I had untamed with a bunch of cycling like
- 21:36Speaker 2: the invigorating showers and whatnot, and I think some some
- 21:42Speaker 2: diss just to disrupt and slow down my opponent. Right,
- 21:46Speaker 2: So my my wackado game plan with this weird deck
- 21:50Speaker 2: was too you know, Mike some member, because actually it
- 21:56Speaker 2: could make Ember decently well. And then uh, set up
- 22:01Speaker 2: the shadows with the invigorating shower. Then try to double
- 22:05Speaker 2: rigged lottery and for six each time they're as close
- 22:11Speaker 2: to you as you can get. Uh, and then and
- 22:15Speaker 2: use the miasmas because probably your opponent's playing shadows, so
- 22:18Speaker 2: you have to use the miasmas. So uh So that
- 22:22Speaker 2: worked a couple of times. I lost, though, because player
- 22:29Speaker 2: Herb played his in furnace at the absolute perfect moment
- 22:33Speaker 2: to I played both miasthmas, and the next turn I was
- 22:36Speaker 2: gonna go on tamed to shuffle all back in and
- 22:40Speaker 2: I probably should have held one of them, is really
- 22:42Speaker 2: what I should have done, but I got greedy and
- 22:47Speaker 2: he purged both of them. And then you know that
- 22:51Speaker 2: was basically basically my game plan was over, so I bursted,
- 22:54Speaker 2: but I also gave him a bunch of ember and lost.
- 22:57Speaker 2: So but that was a fun day, even though I
- 23:00Speaker 2: didn't win. I was it was fun to play. But
- 23:04Speaker 2: then I definitely needed to go take a nap because
- 23:06Speaker 2: I was hurting a little bit from the night before.
- 23:10Speaker 2: That nap refreshed me at helped nice.
- 23:16Speaker 5: I can go ahead and say I actually opened decks
- 23:19Speaker 5: that realistically in the Last Chance qualifier, my deck looked
- 23:25Speaker 5: better than where my sealed deck showed up later and
- 23:31Speaker 5: it did not come together. I went one and two,
- 23:33Speaker 5: So it was it was very odd, I think for
- 23:38Speaker 5: the first time ever looking at Doka afterwards, the actual
- 23:42Speaker 5: decks in the pods themselves, I chose almost the poorest
- 23:48Speaker 5: of my pods. And I still disagree about this. I mean,
- 23:51Speaker 5: Loka Gar and I talked about this on the ride back.
- 23:54Speaker 5: Just the idea of the decks did not perform as
- 23:57Speaker 5: well as we thought that they would, and so that
- 23:59Speaker 5: was interesting. Out of the three decks that I had,
- 24:02Speaker 5: I had a seventy two SaaS, ninety three SaaS and
- 24:05Speaker 5: one hundred SaaS and I ended up choosing two of
- 24:08Speaker 5: the decks from the seventy two, so that was interesting.
- 24:13Speaker 5: I did have options. I ended up with Shadows, sorry
- 24:18Speaker 5: and diss. The Shadows pod had two shadows pods, and
- 24:24Speaker 5: it's interesting what was actually different between them. So one
- 24:30Speaker 5: had a thunk Porterscilla versus a moon cursor, burnished nickels,
- 24:40Speaker 5: chummy Bannit culver, and then it was gone pear shaped
- 24:46Speaker 5: or hoodwink brutal consequences or borrow, and so I went
- 24:51Speaker 5: with the hoodwink. I think that out of that matchup,
- 24:53Speaker 5: I think they're very very like comparable. One was sasas
- 24:57Speaker 5: at thirty one versus thirty three, and that house could
- 25:01Speaker 5: do something, but basically once you'd blown the hoodwink or
- 25:04Speaker 5: you'd pushed through, your pretty well done. I also didn't
- 25:07Speaker 5: want to have a lot of the little guys between
- 25:10Speaker 5: the thungs, the urchin, the fall guys.
- 25:14Speaker 2: I just didn't want to have a lot of little
- 25:17Speaker 2: shadows creatures.
- 25:17Speaker 5: Out the one hundred SaaS deck had a twenty nine
- 25:25Speaker 5: SaaS Redemption Pod, and just I really struggle with that.
- 25:30Speaker 5: It has double edgimagus and it was something that you
- 25:33Speaker 5: would look at.
- 25:35Speaker 2: That's the only reason you look at a Redemption pod
- 25:38Speaker 2: of I.
- 25:39Speaker 5: Know, but look at what else is here, like double Salve,
- 25:45Speaker 5: Eh could care less, Piccaroon, Girlands, even Ivan, Dark Centurion,
- 25:52Speaker 5: Citizen Shricks. Fine, then you have the mist they gained
- 25:58Speaker 5: the mutant trait, but what can I do with it?
- 26:03Speaker 2: Nothing?
- 26:03Speaker 5: I have Namel's confession and then dark influence. Like I
- 26:09Speaker 5: just that pod does not scream out twenty nine to me,
- 26:13Speaker 5: it is. It seems very overrated and n sealed. Yeah,
- 26:16Speaker 5: if I could get a board, sure, but there's there's
- 26:21Speaker 5: very little unplay here, and so you need that board
- 26:25Speaker 5: to stick. You have the Citizen Shricks, you get agimages
- 26:28Speaker 5: that can go ahead and gain the amber with what's there.
- 26:31Speaker 5: But I think if you see Adeamagus and you're pulling
- 26:35Speaker 5: against redemption, you just kill it and say what else
- 26:37Speaker 5: do you have in this house? So Eh, I don't know.
- 26:45Speaker 5: The two Sarian pods were pretty close together. I went
- 26:49Speaker 5: with a too low and Imperial Scudum versus Pumpetous like,
- 27:01Speaker 5: I don't know they were. The pods were very very similar.
- 27:05Speaker 5: The one house that I can go ahead and be
- 27:06Speaker 5: very very honest and open about is that my disc pods.
- 27:10Speaker 2: Like you're lying about the other houses.
- 27:13Speaker 5: No, I I think that the Sorry, I think the
- 27:18Speaker 5: I think the shadows and sorry, and I'm fine sticking
- 27:21Speaker 5: with the disc Pod.
- 27:22Speaker 2: My third, I don't know if I can believe you now, Ah,
- 27:27Speaker 2: you know what's happened at my work. I don't know
- 27:29Speaker 2: if this has happened to your guys places, Like there's
- 27:31Speaker 2: this thing now where like everybody like prefaces these statements
- 27:37Speaker 2: with like well to be candid, Like oh my goodness,
- 27:40Speaker 2: Like it's like, I don't it's like what you're gonna
- 27:44Speaker 2: say something like, well, to be candid, So to be candid?
- 27:50Speaker 2: What not? Just your work to be candid.
- 27:55Speaker 5: The disc House has some some nice items, a gift
- 27:59Speaker 5: of Amber, Creeping Oblivion, Infinity, Strop, Poltergeist. But it's got
- 28:03Speaker 5: both Solock and Atrocity, and I do think that there
- 28:06Speaker 5: they're traps to be able to look at double Blood,
- 28:10Speaker 5: chart imp, Carrion Worm, double Chasm, investment in Dark Minion.
- 28:16Speaker 5: You look and you go, okay. Atrocity can definitely pull,
- 28:19Speaker 5: and Solock can do something. There's a lot of r
- 28:22Speaker 5: that's in sets, so maybe Solac holds a little bit less.
- 28:25Speaker 2: Value, but I still went with it.
- 28:30Speaker 5: You had some sad, sad, sad moments when you're sitting
- 28:33Speaker 5: with blood chart imps, but you have some removal and
- 28:37Speaker 5: you have some control. Ironically, I ended up in a
- 28:40Speaker 5: soul lock on soul lock game one, and.
- 28:44Speaker 2: That was probably the close game your kindred souls. You
- 28:47Speaker 2: locked each other, We locked each other.
- 28:50Speaker 5: Actually in game one, I will say I had there
- 28:56Speaker 5: was an anomaly dragon that was in my opponent's deck
- 29:01Speaker 5: that was house enhanced, and that's really what you want
- 29:04Speaker 5: to soul lock. And my problem was I had nothing
- 29:08Speaker 5: on board and nothing in hand that was diss so
- 29:10Speaker 5: I had to take a turn to just soul lock,
- 29:13Speaker 5: but it would have locked him out of two houses.
- 29:15Speaker 5: And I said, I will wait a turn and I
- 29:18Speaker 5: will get one card. And then I did that again,
- 29:22Speaker 5: and for four turns I never got anything, and then
- 29:25Speaker 5: it was way too late.
- 29:26Speaker 2: So don't don't go how to make that move.
- 29:29Speaker 5: Just decide right away to take a bad turn to
- 29:31Speaker 5: lock them out of two probably the difference in that game, actually,
- 29:35Speaker 5: but it was a very very close game, and I enjoyed.
- 29:38Speaker 2: That it happens. De Portu makes decisions. Man.
- 29:49Speaker 4: When when y'all started talking, I couldn't remember what houses
- 29:52Speaker 4: I had, But then it came to me.
- 29:56Speaker 3: One of my houses must have been Sanctum because it
- 29:59Speaker 3: had Trunk's Creed and Abbad the Graham and a benevolent charity.
- 30:06Speaker 4: And no greedy reprisal. That's all I remember.
- 30:10Speaker 3: And then I know I had a Star Alliance because
- 30:12Speaker 3: I had a cosmic recompense, so I had two of
- 30:15Speaker 3: the most broken cards in the game. My first game,
- 30:19Speaker 3: I started with some totally mediocre discs and I lost.
- 30:24Speaker 3: So then I shuffled in my not great Sorrian pod
- 30:28Speaker 3: with like triple governor give the six power guy that
- 30:34Speaker 3: when he fights, he plays the top creature of the discard. Yes,
- 30:38Speaker 3: and that switched all my fortunes because then I won
- 30:41Speaker 3: my next five games in a row, finished five to
- 30:45Speaker 3: one in like as the worst. I was the worst
- 30:49Speaker 3: X one player because I lost in the first round,
- 30:55Speaker 3: but that was good enough to get me the last
- 30:59Speaker 3: seat in Alliance Worlds, and I made a mortal enemy
- 31:03Speaker 3: of shadow Meld because he really wanted that seat and
- 31:07Speaker 3: he was one position behind me in the qualifiers, so
- 31:13Speaker 3: he watches me, a guy who does nothing but talk
- 31:15Speaker 3: trash about.
- 31:16Speaker 4: Alliance take his Alliance seat. He had an Alliance brewed.
- 31:21Speaker 3: It's the only reason he comes to KFC used to
- 31:23Speaker 3: play Alliance and then some jack wanting Alliance.
- 31:30Speaker 5: Well, he could almost auto make top eight with the
- 31:33Speaker 5: Alliance open, so he's fine, thank you. That's what he
- 31:36Speaker 5: needed to say to you, thank you.
- 31:38Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 31:40Speaker 3: Well then then I was like, I told him, well,
- 31:42Speaker 3: I think what I'm gonna do with this seat is
- 31:44Speaker 3: just play fraud to put the accolade on it.
- 31:47Speaker 2: Oh yeah, you're definitely creating mortal enemies.
- 31:50Speaker 4: Yeah well, I mean, yeah, I didn't do that.
- 31:59Speaker 2: I almost did. But anyway, there was my lt Q.
- 32:02Speaker 3: I got two of the broken cards. I did broken
- 32:05Speaker 3: things with them. He broke, I got an Alliance seat.
- 32:09Speaker 2: Isn't that what happens? Sheep breaks people? Not this year.
- 32:17Speaker 2: You got broken. He didn't break me, questionable.
- 32:22Speaker 4: I'm breaking hearts and minds everywhere I go.
- 32:26Speaker 2: All right, we're moving to the keynote. We're our Glorious
- 32:29Speaker 2: Leader c TP.
- 32:31Speaker 4: This is why I'm going to bed because I damn
- 32:33Speaker 4: near fell asleep during the keynote.
- 32:35Speaker 2: Yeah, you left.
- 32:38Speaker 3: I walked out during to meet the ghosts that started.
- 32:40Speaker 3: I said I don't need to be here, and I left.
- 32:43Speaker 2: Yeah, I watched sheep. I was like, oh, okay, some
- 32:49Speaker 2: notable mentions. Pvs sold out of the warehouse. It's not
- 32:57Speaker 2: necessarily at distributors, certainly not at so cheap. For the
- 33:02Speaker 2: rest of the next day, decided to tell everybody to
- 33:05Speaker 2: go buy as much TV as they could on their
- 33:07Speaker 2: game found while there was still time just to I think.
- 33:10Speaker 4: There's still oh no, the game phone closed now.
- 33:13Speaker 2: Yeah, it's closed now, So like do you think you
- 33:19Speaker 2: think CTP walked out of his office, walked down the hallway,
- 33:23Speaker 2: and it was like, hey, game center person, owner not owner,
- 33:27Speaker 2: manager person, you should buy the rest of PV. So
- 33:30Speaker 2: I could go say that it's sold out, but.
- 33:34Speaker 4: It's not sold out. You could still buy it on
- 33:36Speaker 4: the GG.
- 33:37Speaker 2: Website, the not the game center of the GG website. Yes,
- 33:45Speaker 2: that's hilarious. Well, I'm logging in now to ste if
- 33:49Speaker 2: that's still true. All right. While you do that, we
- 33:54Speaker 2: are looking at a March April draconian or poopy dragons
- 33:58Speaker 2: Draconian measures release.
- 34:00Speaker 4: Dragons poop they have been upgraded to poopy.
- 34:05Speaker 2: No, we don't know, And and then we get kind
- 34:11Speaker 2: of the overview of what's going to happen for the
- 34:13Speaker 2: next year, which is a lot of what you've seen
- 34:15Speaker 2: last year twenty twenty six. During January February, we'll have
- 34:19Speaker 2: the Discovery season, so basically a season to get new
- 34:23Speaker 2: players involved in the Key Forge and.
- 34:26Speaker 4: I can still add prophetic visions to my cart and
- 34:29Speaker 4: on that.
- 34:30Speaker 2: Good night guys, good night, good night twenty and then
- 34:35Speaker 2: start champs. And I thought they said February March. February March, yeah,
- 34:43Speaker 2: hold on, I got I got a picture Old and
- 34:47Speaker 2: then a Vault Tour season like we've seen before, and
- 34:51Speaker 2: then KFC wraps it all up in KFC, and then
- 34:55Speaker 2: we got the January February is the new OP Discovery
- 34:59Speaker 2: Kit with new keys, so we're getting new keys. Yep,
- 35:03Speaker 2: all right, and I look good. It could be cool.
- 35:06Speaker 2: I know those were artists or renditions, but they looked good.
- 35:09Speaker 2: Good to see some new keys. It'd be nice to
- 35:12Speaker 2: see some acrylic tokens like Ward and Enraged, which we
- 35:17Speaker 2: still don't have, I mean middle Rember they did. It
- 35:21Speaker 2: was actually pretty cool. I like, well, make some everything
- 35:24Speaker 2: else please so that I can complete my set. It's
- 35:26Speaker 2: really bothering my ocd SO store Championships February March yep,
- 35:33Speaker 2: forebrum March, and then we move into the Vault Tours
- 35:36Speaker 2: and national season, along with a storyline event at some point.
- 35:41Speaker 2: Hm so Augustecember yeh for some Basically the same kind
- 35:46Speaker 2: of rhythm we had last year will be the same
- 35:48Speaker 2: rhythm from this year. It will be the same rhythm
- 35:52Speaker 2: this year. So more of the same. Still no local
- 35:55Speaker 2: op ewalk. How do you feel about that? Oh ewalk left?
- 35:58Speaker 2: Where did he go? He was so upset? No, no, no,
- 36:01Speaker 2: I just get active.
- 36:04Speaker 5: I had to go ahead and actually put in the
- 36:06Speaker 5: images that you were talking about people calling on because
- 36:09Speaker 5: we do have some friends following along. So you can
- 36:11Speaker 5: now all see the timeline.
- 36:14Speaker 2: Yeah, the time, yes, the time. And then the big reveal,
- 36:20Speaker 2: we got the certain darkness reveal the two houses that
- 36:25Speaker 2: were purged our Logos and Sanctum.
- 36:31Speaker 5: Can I just say I'd called that there was going
- 36:33Speaker 5: to be more than one house, thank you?
- 36:35Speaker 2: Yeah, no problem. Did you think it was going to
- 36:37Speaker 2: be logos due to story or did you think they
- 36:40Speaker 2: were just going to take the top two.
- 36:42Speaker 5: I just thought they would take the top two, but
- 36:45Speaker 5: they took it from story and as the overpowered house,
- 36:48Speaker 5: I can see why they did it.
- 36:49Speaker 2: H Logos. And then everybody hates Sanctum, so they got purged. Yeah,
- 36:57Speaker 2: the Sanctum or redemption more.
- 37:00Speaker 5: Now this is where this is where Sheep really needs
- 37:02Speaker 5: to come in, because Sheep really is all about the
- 37:05Speaker 5: conspiracy theories.
- 37:06Speaker 2: Oh he's one hundred percent correct. The conspiracy theory is
- 37:14Speaker 2: that this the whole Sanctum like logos was kind of
- 37:18Speaker 2: I guess always going gonna get it right because they're
- 37:20Speaker 2: the ones who found it, so they're they're the ones
- 37:22Speaker 2: that were going to get it, So that was always
- 37:24Speaker 2: a thing. But supposedly the second house, which is Sanctum,
- 37:28Speaker 2: which was chosen by the community for the most perched cards,
- 37:32Speaker 2: and Sheep's just like, that's a porshit. It's definitely shadows
- 37:39Speaker 2: and he was told no, no, And Shep's like, I
- 37:42Speaker 2: don't know if he was going to go find evidence
- 37:44Speaker 2: or what his game plan was, but she'd been convinced
- 37:48Speaker 2: that it was not Sanctum. But again, we didn't have
- 37:52Speaker 2: a Dapapa track in it this year, so we really
- 37:55Speaker 2: don't know, you know, nobody was importing it, so we.
- 38:01Speaker 5: Can I say, yeah, can I say though, I really
- 38:04Speaker 5: think that this would be a great tool for next
- 38:07Speaker 5: year's storyline event one to actually put the storyline event longer,
- 38:11Speaker 5: because why not let people play and enjoy it, but
- 38:15Speaker 5: have kind of that little update kind of from the battlefield.
- 38:18Speaker 5: It was it was cool to see to pop up
- 38:20Speaker 5: putting it together and like, oh, the rebels are winning. Oh,
- 38:22Speaker 5: now the elders are winning. Like you can go ahead
- 38:27Speaker 5: and see that kind of back and forth. So it
- 38:29Speaker 5: would have been fun to see, oh, look, house logos
- 38:33Speaker 5: is jumping up. Oh shadows, look at redemption and so
- 38:36Speaker 5: you have like that can actually start to persuade people
- 38:39Speaker 5: to be purging more of those houses. I just think
- 38:43Speaker 5: it's a great aspect to bring into the community is
- 38:45Speaker 5: to have that storyline event, but just make it visible.
- 38:48Speaker 5: And so a little chart that gets updated, whether that's
- 38:50Speaker 5: once a week, probably once a week I think would
- 38:53Speaker 5: be a reasonable amounts. It'd be cool something to check
- 38:56Speaker 5: in get people to come back to the same website.
- 38:59Speaker 2: So keep Fortune dot com. But that'd be my recommendation.
- 39:02Speaker 5: Yeah, like order more kids so that you can save
- 39:06Speaker 5: or but that's what that's what we want, right, that's
- 39:09Speaker 5: a win for Gigi. Buy more kids two okay, and
- 39:13Speaker 5: then there's transparency, then there can't be any conspiracy theory
- 39:16Speaker 5: because it's easier enough to see. Now, I will say
- 39:19Speaker 5: near the end, I think that you know, a week
- 39:22Speaker 5: before keyboard celebration or maybe two weeks whatever the end
- 39:27Speaker 5: period is glitch it goes offline, all right, go to
- 39:32Speaker 5: KFC in order to see the final results, and so
- 39:35Speaker 5: you just have the final tally, but you can definitely
- 39:38Speaker 5: see guess what, Mars was not in danger because they
- 39:41Speaker 5: never were on that board or near the top three,
- 39:44Speaker 5: and so you can just see it's a it's down
- 39:46Speaker 5: to the last couple of houses and then there's a
- 39:49Speaker 5: lot more.
- 39:49Speaker 2: Well, Mars was never in danger because I think most
- 39:51Speaker 2: people are doing prophetic visions, which Mars is not a
- 39:54Speaker 2: part of I understand.
- 39:56Speaker 5: But you know what I'm trying to say. It's the
- 39:58Speaker 5: idea of here's the TI three houses or four houses
- 40:01Speaker 5: that are in the running, versus where where did Sanctum
- 40:05Speaker 5: come from? Because yes, Sanctum was talked about, but it
- 40:08Speaker 5: wasn't one of the major It wasn't one of the
- 40:11Speaker 5: major houses that I'd been hearing or seeing online.
- 40:14Speaker 2: We purged sank them. Yeah, but like you saw a
- 40:19Speaker 2: lot more shadows being purged, and he did Sanctum. I
- 40:23Speaker 2: saw a lot more star Allians too. We burned star
- 40:26Speaker 2: Allians once. I was like, what's wrong with the monsters?
- 40:28Speaker 5: Starllions and shadows were purged consistently, also Redemption. I'm not
- 40:34Speaker 5: saying that other houses weren't perched, they just seem to
- 40:36Speaker 5: be purged at less of a rate and without anyone
- 40:39Speaker 5: tracking it. It would be great to be able to
- 40:40Speaker 5: see a track somewhere I did.
- 40:42Speaker 2: So what was super weird about it is like, if
- 40:46Speaker 2: you know, Jeremy has just been up the stage, been like, yeah,
- 40:48Speaker 2: we'll publish the numbers, everybody be like probably like okay,
- 40:52Speaker 2: but there was so cagey about well, I don't know
- 40:55Speaker 2: if we could do that. It's like, what are you
- 40:59Speaker 2: guys cooking the book? Is that what's going on?
- 41:02Speaker 5: That's definitely how it came across. So like super weird,
- 41:08Speaker 5: But okay, drazz from a computer site, how difficult would
- 41:11Speaker 5: it be that if I have as a t O,
- 41:15Speaker 5: if I'm inputting what house was purged and how many cards,
- 41:20Speaker 5: how difficult would that be to have that input into
- 41:22Speaker 5: a graph that then is scrolling or updated.
- 41:25Speaker 2: That's very difficult. Yeah, that's pretty easy. I'm just which
- 41:33Speaker 2: is a thing you could definitely vibe code that in
- 41:38Speaker 2: like a day, you can vibe code that. I can
- 41:41Speaker 2: vibe code that before I'm know what the podcast.
- 41:44Speaker 5: I felt that it was easier, but I don't have
- 41:46Speaker 5: any ability, so it would take me years to do,
- 41:48Speaker 5: so I leave it for others who are a lot
- 41:50Speaker 5: more capable.
- 41:52Speaker 2: The Uh, yeah, it was. It was really weird. Maybe
- 41:55Speaker 2: they didn't they just dumped it to like a file
- 41:59Speaker 2: and somebody had to annually go into alliot because you
- 42:02Speaker 2: know they like to do manual work there instead of
- 42:06Speaker 2: having easy buttons. I don't know, but yeah, it was
- 42:11Speaker 2: definitely weird, like definitely felt like a missed opportunity to
- 42:14Speaker 2: like get people excited about the event going on, which.
- 42:18Speaker 5: Is why I put it up as an idea for
- 42:20Speaker 5: next year if we want to make it better again. Overall,
- 42:22Speaker 5: still a great event, but yes, there's a couple of things.
- 42:25Speaker 5: There's a couple of things we could make better.
- 42:28Speaker 2: All right, moving, I like we're moving to Meet the Ghosts.
- 42:35Speaker 2: So Meet the Ghostes was an event that happens every
- 42:38Speaker 2: year where the ghosts get up on stage and we
- 42:40Speaker 2: get to ask them questions and they get to not
- 42:43Speaker 2: answer ready. So one question about was fol foil was
- 42:52Speaker 2: just the foil or borderless cards just being able to
- 42:57Speaker 2: be slotted in, like to pimp your deck. Is that
- 43:02Speaker 2: what you're going for? Yeah? Yeah, So you know, like
- 43:08Speaker 2: every year, one of the questions on can we slot
- 43:10Speaker 2: and foil cards because people will like that? And they
- 43:13Speaker 2: were like, no, this game, you can't do that, and
- 43:15Speaker 2: people like, but we sleave our decks and they're like,
- 43:17Speaker 2: it's impossible. And then then CTP took the mic and
- 43:21Speaker 2: he was like, well, maybe someday, that's not all. That's
- 43:24Speaker 2: not at all what happened. Curley just flat out said no. Right,
- 43:28Speaker 2: Hurley said no because of all the because there's pips
- 43:33Speaker 2: on cards and that would just be too difficult.
- 43:36Speaker 5: I hear on the I hear on the pips. I
- 43:38Speaker 5: think the best response that was given to me, not
- 43:42Speaker 5: from a GG staff, but this was just another keyboards player,
- 43:46Speaker 5: was we have the ability to print a full deck.
- 43:48Speaker 5: So if they have ability to print a full deck
- 43:51Speaker 5: versus just a card, I get it, and that that
- 43:54Speaker 5: is an option. But I'm telling you for all of
- 43:56Speaker 5: us who are playing competitive and it has to be sleeved.
- 43:59Speaker 5: If they're a card that matches with an amber, like
- 44:05Speaker 5: if it has an amber on it and it doesn't
- 44:06Speaker 5: have any other enhancement. Swapping it out is perfectly fine.
- 44:09Speaker 5: If it has an enhancement, Okay, you can't swap that
- 44:12Speaker 5: out in the turn in the deck that you're playing. Great,
- 44:16Speaker 5: we're we're but we can look to see it's either
- 44:18Speaker 5: blue or it's not.
- 44:19Speaker 2: It's not blue. Guess what. Swap it out and majority
- 44:22Speaker 2: of your cards aren't blue, or you could do that. Yeah,
- 44:26Speaker 2: I just I don't.
- 44:28Speaker 5: I don't see the stigma of why we can't go
- 44:31Speaker 5: ahead and sub out these cards. It's easy enough to
- 44:34Speaker 5: print two hundred, one hundred copies of something. We see
- 44:38Speaker 5: this with many other CCGs because they I know they
- 44:42Speaker 5: don't want to, and then that's what it really comes.
- 44:44Speaker 2: Down to, right, So why don't just say we don't
- 44:48Speaker 2: want to deal with it instead of giving us uh
- 44:53Speaker 2: Discovery kits are going to be available for any any
- 44:56Speaker 2: and all playgroups. So you won't have to go through
- 44:58Speaker 2: your local UH friend local gaming store to get discovery kits.
- 45:03Speaker 2: They're open to anyone who's willing to buy them.
- 45:09Speaker 5: Don't have a local store to play, So I'm fine.
- 45:12Speaker 5: I thought I thought that was something from last year
- 45:14Speaker 5: that we had heard the same, but.
- 45:16Speaker 2: We had asked the question last year and they had
- 45:18Speaker 2: said no. Basically, the short and skinny was they didn't
- 45:23Speaker 2: know who was you know, who was who, what was what?
- 45:26Speaker 2: And it was just too difficult to decide who to
- 45:28Speaker 2: give kids to and who not to give kids to.
- 45:30Speaker 2: And so the answer at that time was no. Clearly
- 45:33Speaker 2: they have changed their mind on that. My guess is
- 45:37Speaker 2: mainly because if we're buying it, who gives a shit? Right, Like?
- 45:42Speaker 2: Who cares?
- 45:44Speaker 5: So?
- 45:45Speaker 2: I seem to remember them saying something about they want
- 45:47Speaker 2: to make sure to support local stores, which I get,
- 45:51Speaker 2: but it's still weird. The main problem that they're going
- 45:53Speaker 2: to have right now is I agree with supporting your
- 45:55Speaker 2: local store, but when you run a game found sure
- 46:00Speaker 2: you really getting from your local store.
- 46:03Speaker 5: No.
- 46:06Speaker 2: So question was asked about the randomness in cards with
- 46:10Speaker 2: cards like as again later control dominating games. That was
- 46:17Speaker 2: it was it intentional or was it random? And we
- 46:20Speaker 2: got oops, well, yeah, so it was not intentional. I
- 46:29Speaker 2: was like, hey, PV, we've seen a significant uptick in
- 46:34Speaker 2: random chance deciding games at key moments, right, and the
- 46:39Speaker 2: card games there's always random chance, but right, ask again
- 46:42Speaker 2: later strong fades atrocity, right, really driving these trends? Right?
- 46:49Speaker 2: Did you think of the house? Did you guess house
- 46:51Speaker 2: they were thinking or not that decides the game? Did
- 46:53Speaker 2: you happen to flip into a house where you can
- 46:57Speaker 2: prevent your opponent from winning? Yes or no? Right? Three
- 46:59Speaker 2: turn in a row? So basically, was this your intention?
- 47:05Speaker 2: And do you is this a new trend? Do you
- 47:09Speaker 2: want this to be the level of of randomness going forward?
- 47:14Speaker 2: And basically what they said was, well, we wanted to
- 47:17Speaker 2: be a skill based game for skilled to matter, so
- 47:20Speaker 2: we didn't really attend for chance to play such a
- 47:24Speaker 2: high role. So oops, I guess I didn't say, however,
- 47:28Speaker 2: could you have missed this and play testing? Yeah? Oops? Like,
- 47:35Speaker 2: I don't know, I know they probably there was a
- 47:38Speaker 2: group of skilled gamers there that could give you feedback like, hey,
- 47:42Speaker 2: this might be bad. You need to cultivate more playtesters somehow,
- 47:48Speaker 2: they need to cultivate playtesters who are not just yes people. Well,
- 47:56Speaker 2: I don't think it's a matter. I don't think I
- 47:58Speaker 2: also think you think that.
- 48:00Speaker 5: Yeah, I think it's a matter of listening to all constituents,
- 48:03Speaker 5: your playtesters, people outside of that being able to go
- 48:07Speaker 5: ahead and a just based on the feedback that's given.
- 48:11Speaker 5: There's a large process that goes to it.
- 48:13Speaker 2: I wouldn't say that. I think it requires multiple individuals.
- 48:17Speaker 2: I believe the next question is you, mister j R.
- 48:20Speaker 2: With Trenk's Creed, and.
- 48:24Speaker 5: Well, I will go ahead and argue that before that
- 48:27Speaker 5: we heard many different asks about local op like. It
- 48:32Speaker 5: came probably in four to five different ways, but the
- 48:35Speaker 5: short bit is, no, we're not getting consistent weekly Ope,
- 48:40Speaker 5: it's going to be a summer event. It's going to
- 48:42Speaker 5: be then I should say summer storyline events, which is later,
- 48:46Speaker 5: and then it's going to go ahead and be the vaults.
- 48:49Speaker 5: That was a little disappointing to still.
- 48:50Speaker 2: We're getting a store championship as well.
- 48:55Speaker 5: Store championship is there, But even that, there was a
- 48:57Speaker 5: question about will we get more than one store championship
- 49:01Speaker 5: so that it would be for each of the sets,
- 49:03Speaker 5: and that answer was no.
- 49:05Speaker 2: No.
- 49:06Speaker 5: So there's some interesting ideas, but no. I came straight
- 49:11Speaker 5: out and asked basically that there were cards that were
- 49:14Speaker 5: errated in f FG days. Are we going to go
- 49:17Speaker 5: ahead and see a more consistent errata or are we
- 49:20Speaker 5: going to eratu cards like Trent's Creed, where the intention,
- 49:25Speaker 5: in my opinion, was not to go ahead and collect
- 49:28Speaker 5: all of one's amber and then completely swing it to
- 49:31Speaker 5: the other side. Or I also use Jane the Bard,
- 49:35Speaker 5: which was the scrapability seems really odd that you would
- 49:39Speaker 5: want to scrap or toss it to exalt two of
- 49:42Speaker 5: your own creatures. And the answer that was given is, well,
- 49:52Speaker 5: we're looking at how cards do this weekend?
- 49:58Speaker 2: Did I get that right? Yep? Yeah, yeah, so he
- 50:02Speaker 2: is open to it. He has opened a whole bunch
- 50:04Speaker 2: of maradas. We don't know it was it was. He
- 50:07Speaker 2: didn't really say when we're another we could, but what's
- 50:11Speaker 2: the chances they were out of the right things? Right?
- 50:14Speaker 5: Like?
- 50:14Speaker 2: I think Trenk's creed is an easy one, right supposed
- 50:17Speaker 2: to say friendly yeah, but that they probably won't do
- 50:23Speaker 2: it because.
- 50:24Speaker 5: It doesn't the what do they do for asking again later?
- 50:29Speaker 5: So ask again later is a real big question. But
- 50:33Speaker 5: with Sanctum being purged, is Trink's creed and even Jane
- 50:37Speaker 5: the Bar do we care anymore because.
- 50:41Speaker 2: We've seen poopy dragons? Right? I understand. I don't think
- 50:45Speaker 2: poopy Dragons is gonna dethrone PV from from where it
- 50:49Speaker 2: is right now. And I hear that.
- 50:52Speaker 5: But if we go ahead and look at how Trink's
- 50:57Speaker 5: played this weekend, I think it was very interesting to
- 51:01Speaker 5: see its place in sealed for both worlds and then
- 51:05Speaker 5: the open, and to see how it did and arkon
- 51:08Speaker 5: open in Worlds. Drenks showed up in the sealed open,
- 51:16Speaker 5: but it did not show up in the World's Open
- 51:19Speaker 5: to the same extent. We had a couple of them
- 51:24Speaker 5: that showed up. This was actually talked about earlier today
- 51:28Speaker 5: in our discord that they were categorized, but it wasn't in.
- 51:36Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 51:37Speaker 5: I guess i'd say obscene amount, but it really depends
- 51:39Speaker 5: on personal preference with what.
- 51:41Speaker 2: Rember is also a rare, so it's not easy to
- 51:45Speaker 2: come by, but it does I think the game. I mean,
- 51:49Speaker 2: I think Sheep's deck just proved it has game altering
- 51:52Speaker 2: effects right five and one, because he had two of
- 51:56Speaker 2: the most broken cards in the game.
- 52:00Speaker 5: La Out told you, Yeah, I will say that you
- 52:04Speaker 5: have to have the right pod for Sanctum. I think
- 52:07Speaker 5: that it's a lot easier to find other houses. Other
- 52:10Speaker 5: pods and other houses in PV. Sanctum as a whole
- 52:15Speaker 5: can be problematic, and so to find a house that
- 52:19Speaker 5: has the has trenks plus enough other cards to make
- 52:24Speaker 5: it viable. Is not an easy task.
- 52:29Speaker 2: All right. There was some talk about a b g
- 52:31Speaker 2: A integration. We'll see if that really goes to If
- 52:36Speaker 2: they do that, and I guess it would be pretty
- 52:39Speaker 2: cool because not only would it give it'd actually be
- 52:43Speaker 2: doing some marketing boys crazy because BGA is a giant platform. Yes,
- 52:51Speaker 2: what better way to get key forage in the eye
- 52:54Speaker 2: you know, and in the eyes that of the hands
- 52:57Speaker 2: of many, but to get on BGA? Mm hmm. Marketing
- 53:06Speaker 2: fifty percent of marketing doesn't work.
- 53:08Speaker 5: That did come up. That made wiki very happy.
- 53:13Speaker 2: I want to talk on you and just be like
- 53:15Speaker 2: yal bingo, like it's okay.
- 53:19Speaker 5: I was literally have my head in my hands.
- 53:22Speaker 2: It was great.
- 53:25Speaker 5: And then you know how much you know how much
- 53:27Speaker 5: marketing doesn't work if you just don't do it.
- 53:32Speaker 2: It was I wanted to sit there and yell. So
- 53:37Speaker 2: if you do none of it, does fifty percent of it? Still?
- 53:39Speaker 1: Is it?
- 53:39Speaker 2: Still zero? Is that how that works? Yeah? Zero? Was still? Still?
- 53:45Speaker 2: Is that still zero? So you get absolutely nothing out
- 53:48Speaker 2: of it and you don't do it. Huh. Weird asked
- 53:54Speaker 2: about where the company will be in five years, which
- 53:58Speaker 2: was really like good question from Shaka is like, you know,
- 54:03Speaker 2: it's like what I said, Hey, where do you see
- 54:06Speaker 2: the game and the company in five years? And CDP
- 54:09Speaker 2: is like, I don't know, hopefully we're still here. Come on, dude,
- 54:15Speaker 2: like I have a vision. Man, he's gonna he's gonna
- 54:21Speaker 2: sell this gaming company to the same people he sold
- 54:24Speaker 2: f FG two and make a bucket of money. Probably
- 54:28Speaker 2: not probably, but maybe he's just happy with what he's got.
- 54:33Speaker 2: I don't know. Maybe that's fine for us. I don't know.
- 54:35Speaker 2: It was weird though. I was like, that's not even
- 54:37Speaker 2: if that's real. That's not how you're supposed to answer
- 54:39Speaker 2: that question, right, Like you go to a job interview, right,
- 54:43Speaker 2: or or like you get to a review with your boss.
- 54:46Speaker 2: Where do you see yourself five years from now? Like
- 54:47Speaker 2: you're supposed to say something interesting? Right? Yeah? Sure, I
- 54:54Speaker 2: don't Why not? I should try it? Lookie, I should
- 54:57Speaker 2: all right, I'm skipping over the next ones and we're
- 54:59Speaker 2: going right, and it's forage. I thought.
- 55:03Speaker 5: I thought de Dev's question, will you do more videos
- 55:05Speaker 5: so people can actually understand the concepts was a good one.
- 55:10Speaker 2: Maybe. Yeah, there was a lot there's already videos out
- 55:14Speaker 2: there for people to understand the concepts.
- 55:17Speaker 5: No, no, no, like okay, this goes. If we had
- 55:20Speaker 5: had PV where Gigi actually ran through PV and you
- 55:24Speaker 5: could see the prophecies and the fates in effect, I
- 55:27Speaker 5: think that it would have helped reduce some of the
- 55:29Speaker 5: mental capacity in the load when people first got into
- 55:33Speaker 5: the set. It also, again is marketing and shows people
- 55:38Speaker 5: the game. But those are the things that we want.
- 55:42Speaker 2: To but again, marketing doesn't work, so we're just gonna
- 55:45Speaker 2: do none of it.
- 55:46Speaker 5: I'm just gonna say, if you don't want to go
- 55:48Speaker 5: ahead and do that yourself. There's a phenomenal community you've had.
- 55:52Speaker 2: You have that we have, no community. Put it to
- 55:55Speaker 2: the community. No stop it, sit down, no no more,
- 56:02Speaker 2: free work for no more. I said nothing about it,
- 56:07Speaker 2: but kettle. Now you're gonna pay you ship? What do
- 56:11Speaker 2: you need?
- 56:12Speaker 5: Well after well after what we saw what the world's
- 56:17Speaker 5: prizes were.
- 56:18Speaker 2: Okay, fine, I can't disagree with you. Put you back
- 56:21Speaker 2: in your in your ewok kennel, Get in your kettle. Anyways,
- 56:25Speaker 2: Snack forage, we had a big uh snack snack attack.
- 56:29Speaker 2: Forge community cards were handed out by dead sink. So
- 56:36Speaker 2: that was a lot of fun. I think there was
- 56:37Speaker 2: like forty two to collect, right something like that. Yeah,
- 56:41Speaker 2: actually was it forty two. I don't remember how many.
- 56:44Speaker 2: I will tell you people were people like, we're really
- 56:48Speaker 2: into it.
- 56:49Speaker 5: People stayed up late to play because you actually could
- 56:53Speaker 5: use the community cards this year, so like it took
- 56:55Speaker 5: it to another level. And I saw people then trading
- 56:58Speaker 5: their extras and trying to complete the set.
- 57:01Speaker 2: This I thought was an absolute winner from the weekend.
- 57:05Speaker 5: This community event was phenomenal, got people engaged.
- 57:10Speaker 2: It was very very well done, so good. It was real,
- 57:14Speaker 2: and our card was awesome. Our card was dope. We
- 57:18Speaker 2: had snacks, we had oriole cookies. As keys, we were
- 57:23Speaker 2: the red key. HFFS was the yellow blue key. Blue key.
- 57:28Speaker 2: I think they're the blue key. And then there was
- 57:31Speaker 2: a litany of other but other people that were the
- 57:33Speaker 2: yellow key. Yellow key was the key Forge key, but
- 57:36Speaker 2: but there was other one. There was other ones. I
- 57:38Speaker 2: think Amber Medis had one. A few people had keys
- 57:42Speaker 2: so reacted and then we had we had the cake
- 57:49Speaker 2: to reveal our card. Boys, we're in key Forge. We
- 57:56Speaker 2: are We're in key Forge. I forgot the name of
- 57:59Speaker 2: our car. Isaac something or other. Right, I don't know.
- 58:06Speaker 2: The card is actually like the dude in the middle
- 58:08Speaker 2: and we're just all around him, right, Yeah, I think
- 58:11Speaker 2: that's what it is. It's like, so I'm like a
- 58:14Speaker 2: dwarf drinking beer right e wok is with a square
- 58:18Speaker 2: jar uh. We got Wookie you doing something stupid, right,
- 58:24Speaker 2: and then a drink there you go. And then we
- 58:28Speaker 2: got doctor Sheep who's got Sydney up on the should.
- 58:34Speaker 5: Correct I was trying to get there.
- 58:42Speaker 2: So and we're actually a really good card, are we. Yeah.
- 58:47Speaker 2: So every time your opponent re draws card, draws more
- 58:51Speaker 2: than one card, or draws their second card for the
- 58:55Speaker 2: turn you you steal to amber. Yeah, so pretty good.
- 59:04Speaker 2: And it's a four power elusive, yes, right out of
- 59:10Speaker 2: range being zapped out of the sky by most direct damage.
- 59:14Speaker 2: And it's elusive, so it's tough to deal with. It's
- 59:17Speaker 2: also rare Friday. We get in the world sealed and
- 59:22Speaker 2: the open sealed. Doctor Sheep did poorly, if anybody was wondering,
- 59:27Speaker 2: His polls were a lot like mine, hot trash. I
- 59:35Speaker 2: did okay. In the open sealed, I ended up going
- 59:37Speaker 2: four and two? Was I five and two? One of
- 59:40Speaker 2: the two doesn't matter. I didn't make it. I got
- 59:42Speaker 2: two losses. Drazz hund you do I did, okay, So
- 59:49Speaker 2: I so I ended up using an ARC on deck.
- 59:54Speaker 2: I thought about swapping pods, but I was like, ah,
- 59:57Speaker 2: it's not necessarily better, so I might as well just
- 59:59Speaker 2: use our conduct. I had no C options at all,
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: So I was like, I was a little worried because
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: I don't know. I feel like I can play with
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: no ember control and as long as I'm making mbur
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: and of good C, but no creature control is hard.
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: So my deck had three point eight C not a lot,
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: but it did have thirty four ember control, so that
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: was cool. Uh, Trank's creed and that accounted for thirty
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: two of it. Yeah, basically so yeah, Trenk's creed and
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: hoodwink at both. Right, So in theory, the theory, I
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: should be a great shape until you get abortrocity three
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: times in a row and yeah, or board, right, that's
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: the problem, right, Like so like there were a number
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: of games where like they were just reaping for a
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: billion and I would steal a bunch or you know,
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: but you can only do that so many times and
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: so well, in Hoodwink purge. So yeah, yep, yep, Hoodwink
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: gets purge. You know how quickly you can get back
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: to tranks right like? So it was I. I was
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: hoping to do a little better, but uh no, such luck,
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: mister Elock. How did you do in the open? I did?
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: I did well Day one.
- 1:01:33Speaker 5: I had a very very close first game, squeaked that out,
- 1:01:38Speaker 5: and afterwards I started to kind of roll.
- 1:01:40Speaker 2: A little bit more.
- 1:01:43Speaker 5: I faced net Mike in round five and just narrowly
- 1:01:47Speaker 5: beat him, and so I went into the top eight
- 1:01:51Speaker 5: five and oh and so was feeling pretty good there.
- 1:01:54Speaker 2: Nice.
- 1:01:55Speaker 5: I will say that two of my pods immediately jumped
- 1:01:59Speaker 5: out at me. I did have a Sanctum pod that
- 1:02:03Speaker 5: was just really really good Trenk screed luminous boom, yes
- 1:02:09Speaker 5: and yes, please double equalize dissonant cord for some damage.
- 1:02:17Speaker 5: It had the couple creatures that I didn't want to see,
- 1:02:19Speaker 5: but it only had five so Brigadier Owls, General, the
- 1:02:22Speaker 5: Wise Jane, the Bard, and.
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: Double light Bearer Calvin.
- 1:02:27Speaker 5: But that was definitely a pod that immediately jumped out
- 1:02:29Speaker 5: and it was well worth it. I did have to
- 1:02:32Speaker 5: take a pod from each of my dacks so Sorryan
- 1:02:37Speaker 5: was my other one double Laurca infantry Lichter Justinian, But
- 1:02:44Speaker 5: really the it had two degenerate decor, which is so good.
- 1:02:50Speaker 5: You can exalt the most powerful creature three times or
- 1:02:54Speaker 5: the most powerful friendly creature captures three and so a
- 1:02:57Speaker 5: way to be able to just put a bunch of
- 1:03:00Speaker 5: amber that I'm gonna eventually get or fight pretty soon
- 1:03:05Speaker 5: was really good. It had too low, But the real
- 1:03:10Speaker 5: winner here was double Governess Sylvenia or a Sylvina number,
- 1:03:15Speaker 5: which is yeah. In its play move each amber from
- 1:03:20Speaker 5: a friendly creature to the most powerful enemy creature, and
- 1:03:23Speaker 5: I almost always use that instead of the stun two
- 1:03:27Speaker 5: creatures with no amber on it, but with two of them,
- 1:03:29Speaker 5: one of them enhanced. With that capture pip, I could
- 1:03:33Speaker 5: pretty much take the amber that was happening with Tryng's
- 1:03:38Speaker 5: creed if they.
- 1:03:40Speaker 2: Refused to play a board or for a while or
- 1:03:45Speaker 2: go ahead.
- 1:03:46Speaker 5: And the luminous boom is where it really came up.
- 1:03:49Speaker 5: So I could capture with the luminous boom, which is
- 1:03:51Speaker 5: capture all and then I could send it over. I
- 1:03:55Speaker 5: also had double Lorca infantry and Rufus Belgilius, which is
- 1:04:01Speaker 5: the basically capturing. So anything that I could stack with
- 1:04:07Speaker 5: the equal eyes, I could move it and then move
- 1:04:09Speaker 5: it over nice. So yes, playing against me, you did
- 1:04:12Speaker 5: not want to have a board, but it worked very
- 1:04:16Speaker 5: well for day one.
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: Moving into that, we played some poopy dragons. Boys, how
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: are your poopy dragons? I mean my deck was great.
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: I mean great, it's the wrong word. My deck was
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: fun and there was lots of interesting things going on.
- 1:04:38Speaker 2: I know a lot of people didn't have that experience, No, no,
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: but I literally had. I played my first game. I
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: lost pretty handily and I dropped because I'm like, I
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: have zero interest in ever seeing this deck ever again.
- 1:04:59Speaker 2: Like it was that well, like it was that bad
- 1:05:03Speaker 2: number one. Okay, So there were full art decks. I
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: didn't get any full art cards.
- 1:05:07Speaker 5: They were really yeah, this was I did not get
- 1:05:11Speaker 5: a full art deck, but those full art decks, there
- 1:05:13Speaker 5: was one next to me.
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: Those full art decks were really really neat looking. I
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: didn't get one of those. All the cards are blue,
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: huh yeah, I uh that mine was fun. You don't
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: skip over this, you put in here. All the cards
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: are blue? Oh yeah yeah, because like you look at
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: the arc on card, I'm like, wow, I have a
- 1:05:39Speaker 2: million enhancements and the like. You look through and you're like, no,
- 1:05:42Speaker 2: I don't because because when they printed them the full art. No,
- 1:05:49Speaker 2: it's not just a full art they have. If that
- 1:05:54Speaker 2: card has an umber pip on it, it's blue on
- 1:05:57Speaker 2: the arc on card, even if it's normally has an
- 1:05:59Speaker 2: umber pip. Yeah, okay, oh yeah, So I know that.
- 1:06:05Speaker 2: I wouldn't have known that because I didn't have many
- 1:06:08Speaker 2: pips in my deck. Because my my deck, I can't.
- 1:06:12Speaker 2: I cannot stress to you how terrible my deck was.
- 1:06:18Speaker 2: It was absolute a hot pile of steaming dog shit.
- 1:06:23Speaker 5: I kind of wanted to play against you just to see.
- 1:06:27Speaker 5: And the reason being is I love my key forage time.
- 1:06:31Speaker 5: So I enjoyed my key forage time, and I went
- 1:06:35Speaker 5: zero to three. My deck could do two things, really
- 1:06:39Speaker 5: really really well. People said, there wasn't see, oh, I
- 1:06:42Speaker 5: had plenty of C. I had so much C. What
- 1:06:45Speaker 5: I could do is I could generate plus one power
- 1:06:47Speaker 5: tokens and then blow up my own board. I was
- 1:06:50Speaker 5: amazing with that. I could even blow up your key.
- 1:06:53Speaker 5: So in two of my three games, my opponents got
- 1:06:57Speaker 5: to forge even more with me because they forged or
- 1:07:00Speaker 5: key is.
- 1:07:02Speaker 2: Perfect. So what do I think about this set?
- 1:07:09Speaker 5: I want to I want to face our two decks Woki.
- 1:07:11Speaker 2: We should because my deck did nothing well. It didn't
- 1:07:15Speaker 2: do see well, it didn't do creepy, it didn't go
- 1:07:21Speaker 2: this is a prime candidate. My Mars was just horrid.
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: I can't even remember I had Mars. I had Saurian,
- 1:07:33Speaker 2: which again was hot trash. I the third house, but
- 1:07:39Speaker 2: it was so nope, wasn't that one. No, it was
- 1:07:42Speaker 2: just so bad, so bad.
- 1:07:46Speaker 5: Well, you're looking at I will I will say it
- 1:07:50Speaker 5: worries me a little bit. The ceiling to the floor
- 1:07:54Speaker 5: seems to be pretty wide, so from a sealed perspective,
- 1:07:58Speaker 5: I like to have a tighter set that Sealed games
- 1:08:01Speaker 5: are pretty close, so that was a little worrying that
- 1:08:04Speaker 5: we could have quite a range. You can open up
- 1:08:08Speaker 5: something that's pretty.
- 1:08:09Speaker 2: Good or really really poor. But time will tell. I
- 1:08:14Speaker 2: think we need to play more. Remind me of og
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: Code of Days about how bad it could be, like
- 1:08:22Speaker 2: just that that, but like think of like that pain
- 1:08:27Speaker 2: bad that you had back in code. I don't remember
- 1:08:30Speaker 2: that pain bad in code. I remember that in a
- 1:08:34Speaker 2: I will say that. But at least if you got
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: pain bad. You both had pain bad. I think that it.
- 1:08:41Speaker 5: I think it's going to be more f f G
- 1:08:44Speaker 5: because you don't have tokens, you don't have your prophecies,
- 1:08:49Speaker 5: so there's there's less ways to be able to move.
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: They were terrible too. Yeah.
- 1:08:59Speaker 5: I will say that some of the things that were
- 1:09:01Speaker 5: played against me or I heard other people talking about,
- 1:09:04Speaker 5: they looked fun dres when I talked to you or
- 1:09:07Speaker 5: other people who went three and oh they had a blast, but.
- 1:09:12Speaker 2: That I was fun winning fun. Well, I will say that. Yeah.
- 1:09:18Speaker 5: I will say that, like Skyborne, there was a lot
- 1:09:21Speaker 5: of ready and used and so some had also.
- 1:09:25Speaker 2: Got red line rotation and against all flags back. Yeah, yeah, yeah, but.
- 1:09:31Speaker 5: It actually wasn't those cards that stood out. It was
- 1:09:34Speaker 5: more than ready in use, which allowed things to be
- 1:09:38Speaker 5: able to happen. But one of the complaints that people
- 1:09:41Speaker 5: were talking about was, hey, I don't have C again.
- 1:09:43Speaker 5: My deck had so much CE it just would build
- 1:09:47Speaker 5: a board and then kill itself.
- 1:09:48Speaker 2: Yeah, here's our card, local car put it in here. Yeah,
- 1:09:52Speaker 2: at the end of your opponent's turn, if they draw
- 1:09:54Speaker 2: two or more cards during your drop card steps, still
- 1:09:57Speaker 2: too good stuff, It is very good. But I will
- 1:10:04Speaker 2: say I there.
- 1:10:06Speaker 5: There's a little bit of worry, but we'll see.
- 1:10:09Speaker 2: We'll see what it comes out. All right, After all
- 1:10:13Speaker 2: the festivities were done, we all went to the following
- 1:10:16Speaker 2: Knife brewery.
- 1:10:18Speaker 5: Oh wait, you missed the most important part. What the
- 1:10:23Speaker 5: arbitrator showed up?
- 1:10:25Speaker 2: Oh yeah, Steve was there. The arbitrator showed up and
- 1:10:29Speaker 2: granted us face punches or slaps, open hand slaps.
- 1:10:35Speaker 5: I will I will go ahead and say the arbitrator
- 1:10:38Speaker 5: was actually interested in playing has played a few games
- 1:10:42Speaker 5: to keyboards, very few, but actually playing an official Draconian
- 1:10:46Speaker 5: measures And unfortunately that was not an option for him
- 1:10:51Speaker 5: and his buddy. It was a magic player, so we
- 1:10:54Speaker 5: could have had two additional sealed players, but they had
- 1:10:57Speaker 5: no interest in playing an arc Hunter Alliance, whether that
- 1:11:00Speaker 5: Open or worlds. And so that's a pretty steep especially
- 1:11:04Speaker 5: for one deck to go ahead and buy the three
- 1:11:07Speaker 5: day pass for one hundred dollars. Yeah, so unfortunately couldn't
- 1:11:11Speaker 5: get in, but hopefully that could.
- 1:11:12Speaker 2: Be said GG just couldn't take one on the chin
- 1:11:15Speaker 2: to maybe get two additional players.
- 1:11:17Speaker 5: Well, it doesn't have to be on the chin. You
- 1:11:19Speaker 5: can buy here's a day pass, or here you can
- 1:11:22Speaker 5: buy for this event.
- 1:11:24Speaker 2: It is literally two decks.
- 1:11:27Speaker 5: I understand, but I would just I know that they're
- 1:11:32Speaker 5: always looking at how to go ahead and change this.
- 1:11:35Speaker 5: And no, we didn't want to have it for a
- 1:11:37Speaker 5: single day, because that was what was told to me,
- 1:11:39Speaker 5: is that.
- 1:11:40Speaker 2: Well, how would we go ahead and and know what day?
- 1:11:43Speaker 2: And I say, you right on.
- 1:11:44Speaker 5: Their pass Thursday or Friday, in sharpie, seems pretty straightforward.
- 1:11:51Speaker 5: I mean, we see this for gen Con where they'll
- 1:11:54Speaker 5: have days, but we don't have to go over.
- 1:11:57Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:11:58Speaker 5: No, that's sharpie, right. You really really cause it a lot.
- 1:12:01Speaker 2: But you are a genius. Somebody should hire you.
- 1:12:07Speaker 5: But no, mister term Key came out and we had
- 1:12:11Speaker 5: a wonderful time playing some board games.
- 1:12:13Speaker 2: It's all right. After I dropped out of that, I
- 1:12:14Speaker 2: went and played with Steve and his friend John I
- 1:12:17Speaker 2: believe it was. I went and played Race for the
- 1:12:18Speaker 2: Galaxy with them, great game. Didn't didn't really know what
- 1:12:23Speaker 2: the hell I was doing, but I lost too, which
- 1:12:26Speaker 2: that was cool. And then we all went to the
- 1:12:32Speaker 2: Falling Knife Brewery afterward and played a bunch of board games.
- 1:12:36Speaker 2: I know there was. The Gang was a heavily played
- 1:12:39Speaker 2: game over the weekend, so was Circle Is it is
- 1:12:42Speaker 2: it rings and things, circles, things I love. I love
- 1:12:47Speaker 2: rings and things. It's it is one of my new
- 1:12:50Speaker 2: favorite games to play. Extraordinarily fun. The Gang's good too.
- 1:12:58Speaker 2: Just after you've played so much of The Gang, you're like,
- 1:13:00Speaker 2: I'm ganged out.
- 1:13:02Speaker 5: I will say that the Falling Knife Brewery was the
- 1:13:05Speaker 5: best beery that I had from Minnesota.
- 1:13:09Speaker 2: It was very good. So, oh you didn't come with
- 1:13:11Speaker 2: us to Indeed, I did not know. I did not
- 1:13:15Speaker 2: get it. Indeed was very good. I enjoyed it. I
- 1:13:18Speaker 2: think falling Falling Knife was better, though you think so
- 1:13:21Speaker 2: I enjoyed my beer much much. Well, I didn't have
- 1:13:24Speaker 2: a beer at Falling Knife. I had a snow cone
- 1:13:27Speaker 2: grape snow cone slushy. Yeah, well that was your problem.
- 1:13:30Speaker 2: Yeah I was. I did chose poorly. Looking back now,
- 1:13:34Speaker 2: I was like, oh, that sounds good. I like ices.
- 1:13:38Speaker 2: Yeah it was bad, but that's not like. No, it
- 1:13:41Speaker 2: was too much of a wine taste in it, and
- 1:13:43Speaker 2: I'm not a huge fan of wine. So but it
- 1:13:47Speaker 2: was fine. We moved into Saturday, which is now Worlds
- 1:13:51Speaker 2: and the open. Oh, you guys went to you guys
- 1:13:55Speaker 2: went to the Roof Beef Joint, So good man. You
- 1:14:00Speaker 2: guys got lunch before we did, so we did not
- 1:14:03Speaker 2: get an opportunity to go with you, so that kind
- 1:14:05Speaker 2: of sucked. So World's players started after the Open players did,
- 1:14:15Speaker 2: so our lunches did not align, so we went to Panda.
- 1:14:19Speaker 2: They got to go to a roost beef place. I'm
- 1:14:21Speaker 2: totally jealous. I should have just played in the open
- 1:14:24Speaker 2: because I owe tuned in worlds Want Want got my
- 1:14:29Speaker 2: got my teeth kicked in. I didn't get no slouches
- 1:14:33Speaker 2: in either. I played. I played a mirror match against
- 1:14:38Speaker 2: Squash first round and it's literally who's going to guess?
- 1:14:43Speaker 2: The game was who's going to guess wrong? First? Guess
- 1:14:47Speaker 2: who guessed wrong? First? It was me? And then next
- 1:14:52Speaker 2: game I went up against cap Marrow that that deck
- 1:14:56Speaker 2: she's got is still sick at top four No, no, yeah,
- 1:15:00Speaker 2: top four a top four, it's still sick. And now
- 1:15:03Speaker 2: it's different and it's even better. So yah. But winner
- 1:15:11Speaker 2: for World c H World Sealed was Dave c again
- 1:15:16Speaker 2: pulled some pretty nice stuff. Open Sealed winner. You want
- 1:15:23Speaker 2: to go through this one, mister ewok, since you're relevant
- 1:15:25Speaker 2: in it. Sure.
- 1:15:28Speaker 5: So I was very very blessed to be able to
- 1:15:31Speaker 5: make it to the final two, and I faced off
- 1:15:34Speaker 5: against Ned Mike and Ned Mike and I had a
- 1:15:37Speaker 5: really really close game on the day before Friday and
- 1:15:41Speaker 5: I was able to squeak it out, and that was
- 1:15:45Speaker 5: not the case on Saturday. Ned Mike played phenomenally well
- 1:15:49Speaker 5: and he three owed me both games. I finished with
- 1:15:53Speaker 5: three well, with one amber and then three amber, and
- 1:15:56Speaker 5: I'm like, whoa like, how did that magically change? And
- 1:16:00Speaker 5: it was trenths on trinks, so it did try but
- 1:16:07Speaker 5: it came down to timing. So it gets a little
- 1:16:11Speaker 5: bit more exaggerated on the actual score. But there was
- 1:16:18Speaker 5: in game number one, there was a rage resets that
- 1:16:21Speaker 5: was headed an absolute perfect time. Again he had to
- 1:16:24Speaker 5: place it and I had to call wrong, but that
- 1:16:27Speaker 5: rage reset was a fifty percent chance, and that hit.
- 1:16:31Speaker 5: What hurt was that he then immediately purged because the
- 1:16:35Speaker 5: trenks went and my Governor's Sylvania with the capture pips,
- 1:16:41Speaker 5: so that both of them went and he purged it with.
- 1:16:47Speaker 2: In furnace in furnace, So.
- 1:16:49Speaker 5: I'm like, all right, well, I still have luminous boom
- 1:16:52Speaker 5: to capture. I can still send over. He had creatures
- 1:16:54Speaker 5: out early in that first game, and once I got
- 1:16:58Speaker 5: to anywhere of close, it was just too late and
- 1:17:02Speaker 5: he pulled off the board, which was very very smart.
- 1:17:05Speaker 5: Game number two was a very interesting game in that
- 1:17:09Speaker 5: early on we have I have an empty board and
- 1:17:14Speaker 5: he double dooms and hits my Trenk's creed with the
- 1:17:19Speaker 5: discard pip and I'm like, that is a sixteen percent
- 1:17:23Speaker 5: chance hits because there's not a creature out, You're not
- 1:17:25Speaker 5: sending anything else back to my hand. But that that
- 1:17:29Speaker 5: made it rather difficult, and yeah, I I could not draw.
- 1:17:35Speaker 5: I did talk to him and it was really interesting.
- 1:17:38Speaker 5: He was playing an ARCon deck and he actually took
- 1:17:41Speaker 5: this ARCon deck to the ark On Open, and so
- 1:17:47Speaker 5: I was playing a similar deck, but it had different cards,
- 1:17:51Speaker 5: a couple different like it, just it was a different
- 1:17:54Speaker 5: deck that I was playing for open the arc On Open,
- 1:17:59Speaker 5: and because he had it as an arc On deck,
- 1:18:01Speaker 5: he took it into the Open and was able to
- 1:18:04Speaker 5: go ahead and make top eight. But it also gave
- 1:18:06Speaker 5: him all of Saturday to practice with it. And I
- 1:18:09Speaker 5: really give him credit because I think that's a great
- 1:18:12Speaker 5: It was a resource that was available to him, but
- 1:18:14Speaker 5: that helped him to get to know the deck a
- 1:18:17Speaker 5: lot better because I was like, how was the game
- 1:18:19Speaker 5: so close?
- 1:18:20Speaker 2: And I just got absolutely smoked.
- 1:18:22Speaker 5: Well, practice, if you practice the deck, if you go
- 1:18:24Speaker 5: ahead and get more reps with it, you see more
- 1:18:27Speaker 5: aligns with it, You're gonna get better with your deck.
- 1:18:29Speaker 5: That was not an option with me, as I had
- 1:18:31Speaker 5: a pod from each deck. But again, Ned Mike, total
- 1:18:34Speaker 5: credit to him. He played his he played well, he
- 1:18:38Speaker 5: got lucky, and you know, he had voice that hey
- 1:18:40Speaker 5: I got lucky when I hit this, sure, but he
- 1:18:43Speaker 5: also played very clean. There was no mistakes and it
- 1:18:45Speaker 5: was great to play against him. Unluckily for me, they
- 1:18:50Speaker 5: actually extended invitations for next year to the top two.
- 1:18:54Speaker 5: Like all of the mirroring vaults, you have access, yeah,
- 1:19:00Speaker 5: I have access to worlds.
- 1:19:01Speaker 2: Yeah for the Minnesota dues. All right, you guys went
- 1:19:11Speaker 2: to Insight Brewing too that night. Uh yeah, not that night.
- 1:19:17Speaker 2: I thought it was it that night. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:19:21Speaker 5: Because you just came back when I was and as
- 1:19:25Speaker 5: soon as you came back, and I got real cold
- 1:19:27Speaker 5: and did not pull anything, so.
- 1:19:29Speaker 2: We ditchede walk while he was playing to go to
- 1:19:32Speaker 2: Indeed Brewing. Well, he didn't realize he was in the finals.
- 1:19:36Speaker 2: He wasn't in the finals when we went to indeed right,
- 1:19:40Speaker 2: and then we and then we got food, We're like,
- 1:19:41Speaker 2: oh shit, we need to go back. He's in the finals.
- 1:19:43Speaker 2: So we went well, yeah, well, so we were gonna
- 1:19:44Speaker 2: go get food, and then I don't remember if it
- 1:19:47Speaker 2: was who went in to the place we were going
- 1:19:49Speaker 2: to go eat, and that was like in a definite wait.
- 1:19:51Speaker 2: They didn't know how long we'd be waiting. So then
- 1:19:54Speaker 2: we're like, we're going to Uncle Frankie's, which me and
- 1:19:57Speaker 2: Steve we thought was a dive bar earlier because I'm like,
- 1:20:00Speaker 2: that's definitely a dive bar, and it's like, nope, it
- 1:20:02Speaker 2: turns on it serves food. So then we ate and
- 1:20:05Speaker 2: Uncle Frankly are like, oh shit, he walked me to
- 1:20:08Speaker 2: top two. We gotta go back. Yeah. It was like
- 1:20:12Speaker 2: like a little old Hamburger yeah spot from like nineteen
- 1:20:16Speaker 2: fifty four. It was pretty good though. It was pretty good, right,
- 1:20:21Speaker 2: and I was quite shocked. I'm not come in right
- 1:20:24Speaker 2: and there's just the woman in the cash roster and
- 1:20:26Speaker 2: there's the cook, right, and so like you know, doctor
- 1:20:31Speaker 2: Sheep's like, oh yeah, give me the give me the
- 1:20:32Speaker 2: juicy lucy, and so you know, the cashier takes disorder.
- 1:20:38Speaker 2: Then then the cook's like, you know that it's gonna
- 1:20:41Speaker 2: take like ten to twenty minutes. She's just like staring
- 1:20:45Speaker 2: at him. She's like, uh, it's like I'll have a double.
- 1:20:51Speaker 2: She's like, okay, she starts making him that instead, yeah, triple,
- 1:20:56Speaker 2: forget what you got whatever. So yeah, she's stared him
- 1:20:59Speaker 2: down until it changed his order. And then and then
- 1:21:03Speaker 2: we went back to go uh hype up and he
- 1:21:07Speaker 2: promptly lost. Sorry.
- 1:21:09Speaker 5: Maybe rule of thumb is don't hang out with you guys,
- 1:21:13Speaker 5: and I played much better.
- 1:21:14Speaker 2: Yeah, But after that we went to another brewery which
- 1:21:17Speaker 2: went to last year, which is Insight Brewery, and I
- 1:21:20Speaker 2: can't remember what we played Telestrator after Dark, Telecaster after
- 1:21:25Speaker 2: which is telestrations illustrations after which normally normally I'm not like,
- 1:21:31Speaker 2: you know, that's normally not my big thing, but like, uh,
- 1:21:39Speaker 2: it was fun. It was fun. It was a lot
- 1:21:42Speaker 2: of fun.
- 1:21:43Speaker 5: We can see the artistic ability of some people in
- 1:21:46Speaker 5: the group.
- 1:21:47Speaker 2: Is extraordinarily artistic. Who knew.
- 1:21:53Speaker 5: Very very I did feel a little bad for the
- 1:21:56Speaker 5: rest of the population in the brewery. It wasn't super packed.
- 1:22:01Speaker 5: I think there was one other group that was playing Yeah,
- 1:22:03Speaker 5: there was a group that was playing Magic and a
- 1:22:05Speaker 5: couple other side, but we definitely weren't keeping down are.
- 1:22:09Speaker 2: They were they giving us looks? I don't even notice.
- 1:22:11Speaker 5: I don't know, not enough that mattered. I know that
- 1:22:15Speaker 5: we had kind of glossed through. Saturday, I actually ended
- 1:22:21Speaker 5: up so there were seventy six people in the Arkhan Open,
- 1:22:26Speaker 5: and I ended up facing There were only two teammates.
- 1:22:30Speaker 5: That was Dexter and one dras Corps and Drascourt and
- 1:22:37Speaker 5: I got partnered on our first match. That's right, yep,
- 1:22:41Speaker 5: So that that was that was something, and I felt bad.
- 1:22:49Speaker 5: We mulliganed and then dras Corp magically has all of
- 1:22:57Speaker 5: his mars very very early.
- 1:23:00Speaker 2: And yeah, I just had to hit the gas right
- 1:23:03Speaker 2: because of that matchup. If the game goes long, it's
- 1:23:05Speaker 2: probably your favor, right, So so I'm like, well, I'm
- 1:23:09Speaker 2: just gonna hit the gas Probabilistically, he doesn't have the
- 1:23:16Speaker 2: graft yet. So I burst into like sixteen amber or something,
- 1:23:23Speaker 2: and he had the graft.
- 1:23:24Speaker 5: So I was like, well, yeah, I'm mi asthma, I'm
- 1:23:27Speaker 5: so I had I actually had Trenk straight Misma and
- 1:23:30Speaker 5: the graft but all that you cared about was the graph,
- 1:23:33Speaker 5: and like, well, you have no way to discard this.
- 1:23:35Speaker 2: I will just creatures like this my marcycle, I can
- 1:23:38Speaker 2: end the turn with no creatures on board. And you did.
- 1:23:41Speaker 5: You did that excellent that I'm not going to trinks
- 1:23:44Speaker 5: you and so yeah, no, it was. It was brutal.
- 1:23:48Speaker 5: And then graph came out and it was all in
- 1:23:51Speaker 5: turn three. I'm like, well, I don't want all of
- 1:23:52Speaker 5: this early, and then I wanted it and it was
- 1:23:55Speaker 5: it was wonderful.
- 1:23:57Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, So I worked out for you, so nice. Yeah.
- 1:24:00Speaker 2: How did you end up finishing in the open? Uh?
- 1:24:04Speaker 2: It was? Uh? I was so I lost that game
- 1:24:09Speaker 2: went forward and just got played against a deck that
- 1:24:15Speaker 2: could loop its atrocity and I was played against me
- 1:24:22Speaker 2: three times and I think I was time walked six times,
- 1:24:28Speaker 2: and I almost won, but I didn't. It was it
- 1:24:35Speaker 2: was unfortunate because I actually had so finally, after being
- 1:24:41Speaker 2: time walked like two or three times, the atrocity kills itself.
- 1:24:47Speaker 2: I have in my hand the b r Geist and uh,
- 1:24:57Speaker 2: I'm not able to to get him haunted so that
- 1:25:02Speaker 2: I could I could play it later in the game.
- 1:25:05Speaker 2: I actually ended up doing it. But it was too late.
- 1:25:08Speaker 2: Of course, flipped a card you know, didn't stop him
- 1:25:12Speaker 2: from killing the killing the adverts right that killing, excuse me,
- 1:25:16Speaker 2: not the infert is killing the atrocity, and and then
- 1:25:20Speaker 2: I lost. So yeah, I felt like I didn't guess
- 1:25:24Speaker 2: the house he was thinking of. Very well, so you know,
- 1:25:28Speaker 2: what are you gonna do? Guess better? I know what
- 1:25:33Speaker 2: I can do? Yeah, I mean, guess better? Is is
- 1:25:37Speaker 2: is what guess better? I mean that we should change
- 1:25:39Speaker 2: the tagleg of this podcast from draw better to guess
- 1:25:42Speaker 2: better better? I mean what the game is right now?
- 1:25:45Speaker 2: Guess what house I'm thinking of? Better? I will say.
- 1:25:50Speaker 5: I put into the show notes a deck that I
- 1:25:53Speaker 5: played so.
- 1:25:54Speaker 2: On that had to have been the Last Chance the
- 1:26:00Speaker 2: live show chat.
- 1:26:01Speaker 5: It's a live show chat, but on Thursday during the
- 1:26:05Speaker 5: Last Chance qualifier, because I did play in second amber there,
- 1:26:08Speaker 5: I went one in two, I faced a lovely young
- 1:26:12Speaker 5: boy Jackson, and hit a really really cool deck which
- 1:26:16Speaker 5: was General Ghost Glasade. So it is this Amber Sky's
- 1:26:20Speaker 5: deck with triple against all legs, redline rotation and then
- 1:26:25Speaker 5: double a rise, double drumble, and so it's just this
- 1:26:29Speaker 5: loop of basically, if you go to six, the geistoids
- 1:26:34Speaker 5: and the Skyborne is going to go ahead and basically
- 1:26:38Speaker 5: push you back down. If you go to seven or higher,
- 1:26:41Speaker 5: it's just gonna all be captured. But the real hint
- 1:26:46Speaker 5: for this deck is that he's got a hungry hippogriff,
- 1:26:51Speaker 5: though not familiar with that. That Skybeast has five capture
- 1:26:55Speaker 5: pips that it brings in. So that's all scattered throughout
- 1:26:58Speaker 5: the deck, but it says each other their friendly creature
- 1:27:00Speaker 5: gains destroyed Movie Jamber from this creature to your pool.
- 1:27:04Speaker 5: So total grindy game, like really fun game, just back
- 1:27:08Speaker 5: and forth, like how do you get around this deck
- 1:27:12Speaker 5: to just keep going forward? So I knew this, and
- 1:27:17Speaker 5: we had played well past time as they were trying
- 1:27:21Speaker 5: to close up on that Thursday, and then I got
- 1:27:25Speaker 5: paired against him when I was two and two or
- 1:27:30Speaker 5: I think at that point it was yeah, I was
- 1:27:32Speaker 5: two and two or one, and it would have been
- 1:27:35Speaker 5: to one. It was well, well see that's the thing. Look,
- 1:27:39Speaker 5: he I ended up finishing what should have been two
- 1:27:42Speaker 5: and three. So explain that one to me because I
- 1:27:47Speaker 5: faced I faced our good boy Jackson in that two
- 1:27:52Speaker 5: and one match, and I'm like, ah, this deck is
- 1:27:55Speaker 5: just brutal to play against. I don't have the tie, Like,
- 1:28:00Speaker 5: what am going to do? So I got to the
- 1:28:02Speaker 5: first key pushing four. I'd gotten the second key, and
- 1:28:06Speaker 5: he was just super tired. He'd stayed up. His dad
- 1:28:08Speaker 5: had made one of those final slots to be able
- 1:28:10Speaker 5: to go into with the last chance qualifier, so he'd
- 1:28:13Speaker 5: helped him out, which was super cool, but you could see.
- 1:28:17Speaker 2: The ten year old was just really tired.
- 1:28:20Speaker 5: And so we're playing, playing and get to the essentially
- 1:28:25Speaker 5: what is going to be the final round. Right before that,
- 1:28:29Speaker 5: i'd pushed. I'm like, I'm just gaining amber. He ends
- 1:28:35Speaker 5: up going ahead and I'm in this drum ble lock.
- 1:28:38Speaker 2: It's a rise.
- 1:28:38Speaker 5: He only plays one drouble Arise, drumble a rise like
- 1:28:42Speaker 5: he's literally a rising and then trumbling. I'm able to
- 1:28:45Speaker 5: kill it. Time ends and it's on my turn. All right,
- 1:28:50Speaker 5: there's nothing to do, but I could not kill the
- 1:28:53Speaker 5: drumble in the last time. So all he did here rise.
- 1:28:58Speaker 5: I'm up two keys to one key, but he has
- 1:29:03Speaker 5: the drumble out. So the question was do you know
- 1:29:08Speaker 5: what the end of time rules are? And he goes,
- 1:29:10Speaker 5: I can sede. It's a real like do you know
- 1:29:17Speaker 5: what's happening?
- 1:29:17Speaker 2: Do you know what's here?
- 1:29:18Speaker 5: And I know you're tired, but kind of going through
- 1:29:21Speaker 5: that well, he had cycled, he had brought out the
- 1:29:25Speaker 5: Hungary Hypocrite. He had not fought with his drumble. But
- 1:29:29Speaker 5: I could not kill the drumble because of I could
- 1:29:35Speaker 5: not kill the drumble with the elusive because I had
- 1:29:38Speaker 5: one creature of each house and there was enough damage
- 1:29:41Speaker 5: that he could have fought into it. Now, he never
- 1:29:43Speaker 5: said to fight, but he said I can sede. It's
- 1:29:48Speaker 5: at this point his dad comes in and is like, Hey,
- 1:29:50Speaker 5: I don't mean to be dad, but uh, can I
- 1:29:54Speaker 5: go ahead.
- 1:29:55Speaker 2: And call it judge?
- 1:29:55Speaker 5: Yeah, you can call Judge like you have anyone as
- 1:29:58Speaker 5: like it's weird as here, And he was really cool.
- 1:30:01Speaker 5: He's like, I want to just make sure my son
- 1:30:04Speaker 5: understands what's actually happening. But he calls over and it
- 1:30:08Speaker 5: just creates this super weird, awkward moment and so g
- 1:30:13Speaker 5: is brought over and she's like, well, okay, here's the
- 1:30:17Speaker 5: end of time rules. Yeah, there's sixteen amber out. It's
- 1:30:20Speaker 5: going to go that he gets to forge a key
- 1:30:23Speaker 5: and then he'll have more amber on the type breaker
- 1:30:25Speaker 5: and he'll end up winning. I said that's fine, and
- 1:30:30Speaker 5: Jack's like, I already put in I concede it. I'm like,
- 1:30:33Speaker 5: I can just press concede too. We can like we
- 1:30:35Speaker 5: can go through this. And he started and says like,
- 1:30:38Speaker 5: that's not the point of this. We want to teach
- 1:30:40Speaker 5: him for a long time. Like I one hundred percent agree,
- 1:30:43Speaker 5: but I can't take a win off of this, and
- 1:30:46Speaker 5: so it was like super super super super weird and
- 1:30:49Speaker 5: awkward and like what are you doing? Like so we
- 1:30:52Speaker 5: basically held up the round as they're trying to decide
- 1:30:54Speaker 5: what to do over this play, and after that we
- 1:30:59Speaker 5: immediately got pair and I got paired up and I
- 1:31:03Speaker 5: get paired against one of the other four o's. So
- 1:31:06Speaker 5: it all worked out because I got I get beat
- 1:31:08Speaker 5: right away. But it was like I technically went two
- 1:31:11Speaker 5: and three and I should not be here. This is
- 1:31:14Speaker 5: not it. I can go ahead and double concede, but
- 1:31:17Speaker 5: that's not what was said, and it went to that
- 1:31:21Speaker 5: he went ahead and had conceded, and so that was
- 1:31:25Speaker 5: what G ruled. Is that because he had conceded that
- 1:31:28Speaker 5: that we're moving on. I'm like, it's a ten year
- 1:31:30Speaker 5: old boy, I don't care like, if he doesn't know,
- 1:31:33Speaker 5: we can we can go ahead and press a button.
- 1:31:34Speaker 5: That doesn't matter. So I give Jacksonville credit.
- 1:31:38Speaker 2: Really cool. DAK was a lot of fun.
- 1:31:40Speaker 5: I would have actually liked to have seen that go
- 1:31:42Speaker 5: into the other PV meta because it just causes a
- 1:31:45Speaker 5: lot of issues if you don't have something like atrocity
- 1:31:48Speaker 5: for the control.
- 1:31:49Speaker 2: So go check out that DAK super cool. Yeah, it's
- 1:31:52Speaker 2: a one nineteen on the drazz score dot com. Check
- 1:31:58Speaker 2: it out there. I change the site a little bit
- 1:32:01Speaker 2: so it's easier if you don't have a log in
- 1:32:03Speaker 2: to just immediately start using it, so doesn't force you
- 1:32:07Speaker 2: to log on screen right away.
- 1:32:09Speaker 5: Did you update it that we can get from the
- 1:32:12Speaker 5: old site over?
- 1:32:14Speaker 2: I don't know, I mean from that's no way they
- 1:32:17Speaker 2: get that. I know. But that's the problem we have
- 1:32:20Speaker 2: to I mean I that would be a pain in
- 1:32:22Speaker 2: the butt to try to figure out to do that.
- 1:32:23Speaker 2: What do you what do you want to do? You walk?
- 1:32:25Speaker 2: What do you want me? We'll figure that out later.
- 1:32:26Speaker 2: Let's move in a Sunday the Top eight. You can
- 1:32:30Speaker 2: check all the top eights over at arkhan ar Kana.
- 1:32:35Speaker 2: Winner for Alliance was Eleen mac from France from France.
- 1:32:44Speaker 2: And then the winner for Arkhan was Willy five on
- 1:32:48Speaker 2: five one zero right yep, Taiwan, Yeah, Taiwan. I couldn't
- 1:32:53Speaker 2: remember if it was five one zero five oh one,
- 1:32:56Speaker 2: but Willie.
- 1:32:57Speaker 5: It's fine, it's five. Yeah, it's five to ten. So
- 1:33:00Speaker 5: Alliance was Ellie Mac and Virus Incoming. Both were on PV.
- 1:33:03Speaker 5: Alliance yep. And then for Arcan was Willy five ten
- 1:33:08Speaker 5: and Lorenzo ninety nine.
- 1:33:09Speaker 2: So again look at both PVV. Yeah, both on TV.
- 1:33:15Speaker 2: PV dominated the weekend. It did dominate the weekend representing
- 1:33:22Speaker 2: Ember Skies in the top eight. The only arc on
- 1:33:26Speaker 2: Top eight not PV was Tooting Carnage, who is in
- 1:33:30Speaker 2: the audience right now with some Nary so get slow
- 1:33:37Speaker 2: tude garbage. So nary is uh is uh. As the
- 1:33:45Speaker 2: top eights are going on, we have the team event,
- 1:33:50Speaker 2: which is can we officially say it was yours e walk?
- 1:33:54Speaker 2: If we didn't, we just did. So it was my
- 1:33:58Speaker 2: community idea there.
- 1:34:00Speaker 5: Josh and GG had asked right away, hey, can we
- 1:34:03Speaker 5: go ahead and we really like this to be a
- 1:34:05Speaker 5: GG event and can we go and set this up?
- 1:34:10Speaker 5: And so I did work with Josh and GG in
- 1:34:12Speaker 5: order to make sure that it was an event that
- 1:34:15Speaker 5: both sides could go ahead and use it. Originally, I
- 1:34:20Speaker 5: did want it to be kind of a year of
- 1:34:22Speaker 5: Sealed in Review. So the idea was to do amber
- 1:34:24Speaker 5: Sky's Vault Master twenty five and PV. With the amount
- 1:34:28Speaker 5: of TV we had done, I'm really happy we actually
- 1:34:30Speaker 5: didn't have more PV and Vault.
- 1:34:32Speaker 2: Master twenty five was not an option.
- 1:34:34Speaker 5: So we went back and forth and we ended up
- 1:34:36Speaker 5: with Talk amber Skies in Vault Master twenty four. So
- 1:34:42Speaker 5: what do you think, Dres you had played?
- 1:34:45Speaker 2: It was a ton of fun. Yeah, it was. So
- 1:34:48Speaker 2: I played with x Ray and B Hawk and I
- 1:34:53Speaker 2: played amber Skies and x Ray played Talk, B Hawk
- 1:34:58Speaker 2: played VM twenty four. Uh, we went two and one.
- 1:35:01Speaker 2: We had a good time, and uh, I thought everybody
- 1:35:07Speaker 2: was really enjoying the team event. There was. There was
- 1:35:10Speaker 2: lots of folks who who you know, who were enjoying it.
- 1:35:17Speaker 2: And the prizing. The prizing was good, right, like, uh,
- 1:35:23Speaker 2: you know, three rounds and you know you guys, well,
- 1:35:27Speaker 2: I mean you guys took it down right. Yeah.
- 1:35:29Speaker 5: So I was very very lucky Teamy Walk I had
- 1:35:33Speaker 5: camera and Loco car with me and It was absolutely
- 1:35:37Speaker 5: wonderful to play. It was great to talk kind of
- 1:35:40Speaker 5: shop and go back and forth. I felt that our
- 1:35:43Speaker 5: decks did go ahead and jump out at us. Local
- 1:35:46Speaker 5: Car opened up a top deck that had five five
- 1:35:53Speaker 5: of a card, you know, just a job.
- 1:35:56Speaker 2: It was.
- 1:35:57Speaker 5: Yeah, it was five routine jobs. So we actually figured
- 1:36:00Speaker 5: is that it pulls in sets of two or three,
- 1:36:02Speaker 5: so there had to be two sets and one of
- 1:36:05Speaker 5: them of two and one of them three. But five
- 1:36:07Speaker 5: routine jobs is incredible. My deck actually struggled probably the
- 1:36:12Speaker 5: most out of the others, but I had a double
- 1:36:16Speaker 5: arcanometer deck, and out of double arcanometer, one of the
- 1:36:20Speaker 5: arcanometers had a Mars pip on it, so that's that's
- 1:36:26Speaker 5: definitely something and it shuts down a whole lot for
- 1:36:30Speaker 5: amber skies. And then Kamira just played really, really well
- 1:36:33Speaker 5: with his decks. He had a very close match in
- 1:36:36Speaker 5: match number two, but we were able to be successful.
- 1:36:40Speaker 2: It was it was amazing.
- 1:36:41Speaker 5: Yeah, my my deck is Loco Car points out just
- 1:36:44Speaker 5: didn't make amber.
- 1:36:45Speaker 2: So it was so slow.
- 1:36:47Speaker 5: I would see others just grinding away and grinding away
- 1:36:51Speaker 5: outside of the arcanometers. I had no real way to
- 1:36:53Speaker 5: stop people from making Amber and it didn't have C
- 1:36:58Speaker 5: but it if you're trying to play cards, you lost
- 1:37:01Speaker 5: Amber for sure.
- 1:37:04Speaker 2: All right, And what did you guys win for winning
- 1:37:06Speaker 2: the event?
- 1:37:08Speaker 5: Sookie problem? Yeah, glad you ass they're Wookie. So out
- 1:37:14Speaker 5: of the three event like playing three rounds, there were
- 1:37:18Speaker 5: twenty three teams, so great job. Having all the teams
- 1:37:21Speaker 5: show up. We were able to go ahead and get
- 1:37:23Speaker 5: two full sealed boxes and as first we got a
- 1:37:27Speaker 5: choice out of which of the three boxes. So there
- 1:37:29Speaker 5: was a box of Amber Skies, there was a box
- 1:37:32Speaker 5: of Vault Master twenty four, and there was a box
- 1:37:35Speaker 5: of Talk and as first we got a chance to
- 1:37:37Speaker 5: pick two. So that split was eight decks for us,
- 1:37:42Speaker 5: which was really really good.
- 1:37:45Speaker 2: People the best prizing. I would say, let's segue, what
- 1:37:51Speaker 2: what what did the people in the Worlds get?
- 1:37:55Speaker 5: Well, I can tell you that for my second place
- 1:37:58Speaker 5: in the sealed Open, I did get access to Worlds
- 1:38:02Speaker 5: next year, which is great. And I have a really
- 1:38:04Speaker 5: cool foiled matt that is amazing and well worked that
- 1:38:09Speaker 5: that is really that it's just beautiful. There's a pin
- 1:38:14Speaker 5: as a finalist, so I appreciate that finalists being all
- 1:38:19Speaker 5: the top eight people got finalist pins, but I didn't
- 1:38:22Speaker 5: know that it was second. But then I got one
- 1:38:24Speaker 5: vault Master twenty five, one vault Master twenty four and
- 1:38:30Speaker 5: one vault Master twenty three deck.
- 1:38:35Speaker 2: What the So you got better prizes especially event, than
- 1:38:44Speaker 2: you did for placing higher in a larger event.
- 1:38:48Speaker 5: Well, and realized that I had to go five and
- 1:38:51Speaker 5: oh on the first day and I was one of
- 1:38:53Speaker 5: the early entrants in.
- 1:38:57Speaker 2: People. What did Dan get? Now? Mind you, Dan top
- 1:39:03Speaker 2: ate a an alliance. Yeah, if memory serves, Dan got
- 1:39:12Speaker 2: a play mat it is, yeah, a vault Master twenty
- 1:39:16Speaker 2: five deck and a vault Master twenty four deck. If
- 1:39:21Speaker 2: I remember correctly, this is alliance.
- 1:39:28Speaker 5: Okay, so I can say Sydney with her alliance top
- 1:39:31Speaker 5: eight had a Vaultmester twenty five, vault Master twenty four
- 1:39:35Speaker 5: in the pin, and then the mats, oh yeah that
- 1:39:39Speaker 5: was that was hers. And then Dan's World Alliance was
- 1:39:47Speaker 5: Vaultmester twenty five, vault Master twenty four the pin, and
- 1:39:51Speaker 5: then my second place was the vault Master twenty five,
- 1:39:55Speaker 5: Weltmester twenty four, Vaultmester twenty three in the pin.
- 1:39:59Speaker 2: So you got better, I think in the team event
- 1:40:01Speaker 2: than you did for being in Worlds, yeah yeah.
- 1:40:07Speaker 5: Or not only Worlds, but being in Worlds and making
- 1:40:09Speaker 5: top eight, which is like that's a real accomplishment to
- 1:40:14Speaker 5: go ahead and.
- 1:40:15Speaker 2: Not harder to ghost Gallopy. Wow, it was unfortunate.
- 1:40:20Speaker 5: I think we're like, yeah, I think this was the
- 1:40:22Speaker 5: biggest mistake that they had.
- 1:40:26Speaker 2: Yeah, like yeah, the prizing for second Ember was like better, yes,
- 1:40:35Speaker 2: so second Ember, right, you get your blue tickets. Now
- 1:40:37Speaker 2: it's you know, it's random, so you're not you're not
- 1:40:39Speaker 2: getting in volume. But the cool thing was they were
- 1:40:44Speaker 2: handing out they had a box full of geo tagged
- 1:40:49Speaker 2: VM twenty five decks from all the different Vaultaurs locations,
- 1:40:54Speaker 2: like including international ones, and so you could just win
- 1:41:00Speaker 2: a geotag deck from uh from a various places, which, honestly,
- 1:41:07Speaker 2: what they should have done for Worlds is like, if
- 1:41:09Speaker 2: you win Worlds, you should just get a geotag deck
- 1:41:11Speaker 2: VM twenty five from every location, right, like like that
- 1:41:16Speaker 2: would be kind of cool and and you know, maybe
- 1:41:18Speaker 2: two of them if you're winning. Maybe I don't know,
- 1:41:20Speaker 2: like but yeah, no, instead said there was less so
- 1:41:27Speaker 2: so interestingly enough, so Daniel Vee, Right, they got great
- 1:41:34Speaker 2: guy from Spain who came out and we actually from
- 1:41:37Speaker 2: beer Forge, right, we hung out with him. Yeah, we're
- 1:41:39Speaker 2: honary remember as a beer Forge now sucking check. Yeah,
- 1:41:43Speaker 2: we hung out with him quite a bit over the weekend.
- 1:41:46Speaker 2: So he had to run to catch his flight. So
- 1:41:48Speaker 2: he's like, here, take my blue ticket. So I was like, okay.
- 1:41:53Speaker 2: So so actually the number got called, so I got
- 1:41:57Speaker 2: a Vietnam Geotag deck and then uh we better open that.
- 1:42:05Speaker 2: That's a banger right there. So like the couple next
- 1:42:08Speaker 2: to me, I assumed they were a couple. Actually they
- 1:42:10Speaker 2: were always together and uh, I guess I don't actually
- 1:42:15Speaker 2: know they were a couple. But from Germany they also win.
- 1:42:19Speaker 2: But then the deck they get is like from Germany,
- 1:42:22Speaker 2: and they were like, how did we end up with
- 1:42:23Speaker 2: the one from Germany? We're from? Like, we're from Germany.
- 1:42:27Speaker 2: And I was like, I'll trade you because I don't
- 1:42:30Speaker 2: care which international deck I get. So yeah, I gave
- 1:42:34Speaker 2: him the Vietnam deck and I got a Germany one.
- 1:42:36Speaker 2: So now I got a Germany. Is it in German? No,
- 1:42:40Speaker 2: it should be in English English? Ye, I haven't opened
- 1:42:43Speaker 2: it yet.
- 1:42:43Speaker 5: Okay, over, I will say our last chance qualifier boys
- 1:42:49Speaker 5: had one hundred and thirty people. The World's Open for
- 1:42:52Speaker 5: Sealed had one hundred and thirteen, and then you had
- 1:42:54Speaker 5: the twenty four playing in this seield. So for one
- 1:42:57Speaker 5: hundred and thirteen person events to get three decks like
- 1:43:01Speaker 5: we had seen first place last year? Was that not
- 1:43:04Speaker 5: two boxes? And then second place got a box? Ye
- 1:43:07Speaker 5: like to go all the way down to essentially scraps
- 1:43:11Speaker 5: of here's one one in one. I mean I had
- 1:43:13Speaker 5: people tell me that I should have just sent it
- 1:43:16Speaker 5: back and said, you obviously need this more than I do.
- 1:43:20Speaker 5: But yeah, that that that one was, that was a
- 1:43:23Speaker 5: pretty big hit. I don't know what happened, what the
- 1:43:26Speaker 5: mistake was.
- 1:43:27Speaker 2: But they sold too many.
- 1:43:32Speaker 5: If you need if you need to put in if
- 1:43:35Speaker 5: you need to put an high box, you need to
- 1:43:36Speaker 5: put an eye boxes on boxes of Vault Master twenty four.
- 1:43:42Speaker 2: They had piles of them in the back, and I
- 1:43:45Speaker 2: will tell you were allowed to buy three, but there
- 1:43:47Speaker 2: were tons of people who were like, I can't remember
- 1:43:51Speaker 2: if it was local. Cairo came to me and told
- 1:43:53Speaker 2: me it's like I just went and bought some and
- 1:43:55Speaker 2: they didn't punch my tag, So like yeah for twenty
- 1:44:02Speaker 2: five no, no, yeah, no, it's twenty five the green Ones. Yeah. Yeah,
- 1:44:09Speaker 2: well I'm telling you right now you were able to
- 1:44:13Speaker 2: buy three and then they were supposed to punch your
- 1:44:14Speaker 2: badge there. I don't and I don't think some people
- 1:44:19Speaker 2: were getting their badges punched. Yeah he Lokar just said
- 1:44:22Speaker 2: he bought five Vault Master twenty five decks.
- 1:44:26Speaker 5: There were thirty boxes that were there. And I will
- 1:44:29Speaker 5: say I appreciate that Marcus really went ahead and was
- 1:44:32Speaker 5: able to convince them to produce this because when I
- 1:44:35Speaker 5: was trying to set up for Sealed, it was not
- 1:44:37Speaker 5: an option. And not only that, but these were KFC
- 1:44:42Speaker 5: exclusive Vault Master so they actually were geot no, but
- 1:44:46Speaker 5: they were GEO take like its really cool. Yeah, that
- 1:44:48Speaker 5: is really cool. Like that's what we want is for
- 1:44:50Speaker 5: an event to have it. Hey, I went to Worlds.
- 1:44:53Speaker 5: This is it so awesome job on that we got
- 1:44:55Speaker 5: to publicize and let people know, not figure it out,
- 1:44:58Speaker 5: but we need to have some prising that set aside
- 1:45:03Speaker 5: that that was sad, I'm still happy. I mean, how
- 1:45:08Speaker 5: can you really complain when you have access to Worlds and.
- 1:45:12Speaker 2: You did as well as you did. But if you
- 1:45:15Speaker 2: fight through a large will find a way. Let's not
- 1:45:19Speaker 2: what well, let's let's let's head home. To head home,
- 1:45:24Speaker 2: I need to get some CP you walk local car
- 1:45:27Speaker 2: x ray myself. We went to get some ramen that
- 1:45:30Speaker 2: was pretty good.
- 1:45:33Speaker 5: That was actually the first dinner that I had that
- 1:45:37Speaker 5: whole once I made it there Wednesday night. I did
- 1:45:40Speaker 5: not have dinner Thursday, Friday, Saturday, so that I got
- 1:45:44Speaker 5: to do better. You know.
- 1:45:45Speaker 2: Boys, So here's what you should do. You have that
- 1:45:49Speaker 2: food truck come for lunch, but you give us an
- 1:45:51Speaker 2: hour for lunch, so like we can totally just walk
- 1:45:54Speaker 2: to Bison or one of those other places, get lunch
- 1:45:56Speaker 2: and come back. Like that's easy. Dinner is the hard
- 1:45:59Speaker 2: one because they seem to want to roll directly into
- 1:46:03Speaker 2: whatever it's coming next. Yeah, like you need the food
- 1:46:07Speaker 2: truck there for dinner, like what we did us, I
- 1:46:10Speaker 2: would have used it. Yeah, Thursday still the problem I
- 1:46:14Speaker 2: feel is like Thursday night. Yeah, oh I don't know,
- 1:46:20Speaker 2: because right we eat at like nine o'clock in the morning,
- 1:46:26Speaker 2: and then it's like we get in there at like ten,
- 1:46:29Speaker 2: and then by like one, it's like all right, we're
- 1:46:31Speaker 2: doing lunch, and it's like ah, really right away, it's
- 1:46:36Speaker 2: like you play two rounds and then it's lunchtime right away.
- 1:46:39Speaker 2: It's like now, it just feels too too quick. I
- 1:46:43Speaker 2: don't know.
- 1:46:44Speaker 5: Dinner's the problem with Keith with a keynote and meet
- 1:46:47Speaker 5: the ghosts. We're staying for that, so I see why
- 1:46:50Speaker 5: others left. Friday it was Torconine measures and then Saturday,
- 1:46:55Speaker 5: I was blessed to be able to be in for
- 1:46:56Speaker 5: a world so I stayed in order to play the
- 1:46:59Speaker 5: top eight and then top four in the finals. So again,
- 1:47:03Speaker 5: this is all a really good thing, but it just
- 1:47:05Speaker 5: it really meant that there was not going to be dinner.
- 1:47:09Speaker 5: So I really enjoyed the ramen. I really did, and
- 1:47:11Speaker 5: it was it was fun hanging out.
- 1:47:14Speaker 2: Yep, yep. Yeah. We left quickly and we uh and
- 1:47:19Speaker 2: we laughed. Me and Dan left quickly. We got the
- 1:47:22Speaker 2: hell out of there and it was time to go.
- 1:47:26Speaker 2: I knew I had to be in early on Monday.
- 1:47:28Speaker 2: I was not interested in staying any longer than I
- 1:47:30Speaker 2: had to, so as soon as an opportunity came to
- 1:47:35Speaker 2: get get the funk out of there, I got out,
- 1:47:39Speaker 2: and boy was it needed. Got home, got myself a
- 1:47:43Speaker 2: nice bit of sleep that was much needed, even though
- 1:47:47Speaker 2: I did not drink nearly as heavy as I have
- 1:47:48Speaker 2: in years past, I was still seepy. And that's okay.
- 1:47:53Speaker 2: I did I was drink.
- 1:47:56Speaker 5: The most important thing we found out that Wookie snores
- 1:48:01Speaker 5: less if we put him on the floor.
- 1:48:04Speaker 2: Yep.
- 1:48:04Speaker 5: So here going forward, he is now forever put on
- 1:48:08Speaker 5: the floor.
- 1:48:09Speaker 2: Yep. We just need to buy a air mattress because nope, nope,
- 1:48:13Speaker 2: I don't want the stores on the floor, Nope, I need.
- 1:48:16Speaker 2: I need the air mattress because I needed that for
- 1:48:19Speaker 2: my back that night because my back was really giving
- 1:48:21Speaker 2: me issues because of the limp and all day. But
- 1:48:24Speaker 2: I was like, yeah, I need the hard I need
- 1:48:26Speaker 2: the hard ass floor to like realign my back, which
- 1:48:29Speaker 2: it totally did, so I was really happy about that.
- 1:48:32Speaker 2: But yeah, I need like an air mattress. It just
- 1:48:34Speaker 2: even maybe one of those just like cant with it,
- 1:48:36Speaker 2: those camping pads, just a little something to soften that
- 1:48:41Speaker 2: floor just a little bit, just a little bit. It's
- 1:48:44Speaker 2: all masking, just a little not terrible.
- 1:48:48Speaker 5: I will say that the community events, the community cards
- 1:48:51Speaker 5: were huge hit. I think that overall KFC went well.
- 1:48:58Speaker 2: Overall.
- 1:48:59Speaker 5: I actually like seeing Meet the Ghosts and the keynote
- 1:49:03Speaker 5: on that Thursday night. I thought that we had minimal
- 1:49:08Speaker 5: issues overall except for prizing. Prising was probably the biggest
- 1:49:15Speaker 5: failure that we saw, and it was pretty substantial. But
- 1:49:18Speaker 5: if that's it, it only impacts a couple of individuals.
- 1:49:21Speaker 5: I'd still like to see more prizing just given out
- 1:49:24Speaker 5: in general for Fellowship Awards. People who are like, hey,
- 1:49:28Speaker 5: you showed up well, but but it makes you feel good. Man,
- 1:49:32Speaker 5: if you've if you've lost, if you lost in your
- 1:49:35Speaker 5: out and you're like right there that day for second Amber,
- 1:49:39Speaker 5: here you go, here's a pin, here's a deck. Things
- 1:49:42Speaker 5: of that sort that I did. I did put in
- 1:49:45Speaker 5: that I wanted to see Fellowship Awards are prizing for
- 1:49:48Speaker 5: teams in the team event, because if you lose the
- 1:49:50Speaker 5: first round, you feel like you're out, and okay, I
- 1:49:53Speaker 5: have nothing really to play for outside of just the fun.
- 1:49:55Speaker 5: But if you throw in a deck or two, you know,
- 1:49:58Speaker 5: so in this case, it'd be three decks for a
- 1:50:00Speaker 5: couple of teams.
- 1:50:03Speaker 2: It's just it's it's a good win.
- 1:50:04Speaker 5: Okay, I lost, I can't get the big prize, but
- 1:50:08Speaker 5: I have a deck and it's something to go on for.
- 1:50:11Speaker 2: I like that idea. It keeps morale up, and that's
- 1:50:15Speaker 2: something we could do better with.
- 1:50:16Speaker 5: But if that's really the worst of it, only a
- 1:50:18Speaker 5: couple of us were hit for it. It is what
- 1:50:21Speaker 5: it is, so overall, really really fun, wonderful weekend.
- 1:50:27Speaker 2: Yeah. I had a ton of fun, hanging out with folks,
- 1:50:29Speaker 2: going going to food, going to have some rings, playing
- 1:50:35Speaker 2: key forwards. It was. It was a good time. It
- 1:50:37Speaker 2: was a good time, all right, So morel of the story.
- 1:50:42Speaker 2: Get your answers to KFC. It's always a good spot.
- 1:50:45Speaker 2: Nobody's angry. Nobody's angry at KFC. The only championship that
- 1:50:50Speaker 2: really meant to anything this weekend was the Worldly Ball Championship,
- 1:50:54Speaker 2: which will be defending champions. It's okay, yeah, next year's
- 1:51:00Speaker 2: Wordly Ball Worlds. Wow. Well, well, congratulations to the winners,
- 1:51:07Speaker 2: right Dave c ark On, WILLI Alliance Elli Mac and
- 1:51:13Speaker 2: of course, uh Wookie, congratulations on your wor Yeah. No,
- 1:51:18Speaker 2: it was a huge win. Really was done by all.
- 1:51:23Speaker 2: You know, we had a good we had a good
- 1:51:26Speaker 2: team out there on the on the Worli ball court
- 1:51:28Speaker 2: that day and we just you know, we just had
- 1:51:29Speaker 2: the visions rink rink Yeah, yeah, no, no, nobody really
- 1:51:36Speaker 2: understood why I took uh Luke because I got asked
- 1:51:44Speaker 2: a couple of questions on it. I'm like, dude, the
- 1:51:45Speaker 2: guy's like six ten, it's tall. He fucking reaches and
- 1:51:48Speaker 2: touches the goddamn scoreboard. Why why would I not take him? No?
- 1:51:53Speaker 2: I was like, we may have our differences on cards,
- 1:51:55Speaker 2: but I need him to shoot some goals. And then
- 1:52:00Speaker 2: my job was basically to just hit hit, hit other
- 1:52:03Speaker 2: bumper cars, and I will our game plan was executed flawlessly.
- 1:52:12Speaker 5: I'm glad that you were able to execute. I will
- 1:52:15Speaker 5: say it for our open winners, uh being able to
- 1:52:18Speaker 5: get access in Vargas taking first for Arkon Open Panic second,
- 1:52:24Speaker 5: so both qualifying for next year. And I think Vargas,
- 1:52:26Speaker 5: if I'm correct, that does give him each of the trophies.
- 1:52:30Speaker 5: So pretty sweets there. And then for the Alliance Open
- 1:52:35Speaker 5: you had Dorian Levin who took first and Mickey for second.
- 1:52:38Speaker 5: So shout out to all the top two is qualifying
- 1:52:40Speaker 5: for next year.
- 1:52:42Speaker 2: Mm hmm. Yeah, don't go on any vault to his assholes.
- 1:52:46Speaker 2: Oh wait, I'm sorry that will love some of them.
- 1:52:50Speaker 5: There's a lot of swears here, a lot a lot
- 1:52:52Speaker 5: of donations, even qualifying even qualifying for next year, there's
- 1:53:01Speaker 5: the vaults are a wonderful experience and so it takes
- 1:53:05Speaker 5: some of the stress off. But no, there'll be lots
- 1:53:08Speaker 5: of reasons to go and play and to have fun.
- 1:53:10Speaker 5: It was a little weird not to have the listing
- 1:53:12Speaker 5: for the first vaults or any vaults for next year.
- 1:53:15Speaker 5: That was part of the did we have that?
- 1:53:17Speaker 2: Last year?
- 1:53:19Speaker 5: We heard that we were going to go to rose
- 1:53:22Speaker 5: Was it Roseville? That was two years ago? And so
- 1:53:24Speaker 5: this year was it Baltimore? Well, two years ago, then
- 1:53:28Speaker 5: we had it? So last year do we not?
- 1:53:31Speaker 2: Though I didn't think we had it till January. I
- 1:53:34Speaker 2: could be wrong on that one. Well, yeah, we'll have
- 1:53:37Speaker 2: to see where the events are. I honestly don't remember,
- 1:53:40Speaker 2: but yeah, we'll have to see where they are next year.
- 1:53:42Speaker 2: I know last year came out much earlier than it
- 1:53:45Speaker 2: did previously. Yeah, well now that helps the plan. Right
- 1:53:49Speaker 2: two years ago I came out really quick. But hopefully
- 1:53:53Speaker 2: in four to six key weeks we get we get
- 1:53:57Speaker 2: our vault to our schedules so we can start planning
- 1:54:01Speaker 2: and see how things go. But with that being said,
- 1:54:06Speaker 2: it was a great time, fun had by all, and
- 1:54:10Speaker 2: we will see you all.
- 1:54:13Speaker 5: Next week, happy forge, and everyone, May the forge be
- 1:54:19Speaker 5: with you.
- 1:54:20Speaker 2: Somebody want a grumph for Dan.
- 1:54:25Speaker 1: On her own when that land had to be drawn,
- 1:54:27Speaker 1: in that land, this is what we RESO Remember me
- 1:54:29Speaker 1: when I'm gone, Remember not feeling, not talking about them,
- 1:54:34Speaker 1: and with families all that we got everything I would through.
- 1:54:37Speaker 1: You were standing there by my side, and now you're
- 1:54:40Speaker 1: gonna be with me for the.
- 1:54:41Speaker 4: Last my father gone. Way.
- 1:54:49Speaker 7: Hold that reminds go in every road here today. Oh,
- 1:55:05Speaker 7: it's been a lot day.
- 1:55:09Speaker 4: Without you, my friend.
- 1:55:12Speaker 2: And I'll tell you all about.
- 1:55:14Speaker 4: It when I see you again.
- 1:55:18Speaker 7: We've come along way from where we began. I'll tell
- 1:55:25Speaker 7: you all about it when I see you again.
- 1:55:30Speaker 4: When I see you
