- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I almost famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with iHeartRadio.
- 0:05Speaker 2: It's almost famous podcast. We are here. Yes, this has
- 0:08Speaker 2: been the week of headlines. It feels like every week
- 0:11Speaker 2: is the week of headlines. Ashley, We've got some well
- 0:14Speaker 2: big ones coming out of Paradise.
- 0:18Speaker 3: Yes.
- 0:18Speaker 4: We did a whole couple podcasts with Zachary Reality talking
- 0:22Speaker 4: about those breakups. So if you want more on those,
- 0:26Speaker 4: make sure to listen to those episodes. Right now, we're
- 0:28Speaker 4: gonna go over our general Bachelor headlines, Ben, what's our
- 0:32Speaker 4: first one?
- 0:34Speaker 2: Well, this week was a big week for Jason Tarctick.
- 0:37Speaker 2: And the reason I say that is because he did
- 0:39Speaker 2: a very emotional podcast with Chris Harrison. They kind of
- 0:43Speaker 2: did a podcast swap, Ashley where Chris came on to
- 0:46Speaker 2: Jason's and then Jason's came on to Chris's and it.
- 0:49Speaker 3: Was a whole weekend of it right like it was, Yeah,
- 0:52Speaker 3: but you know what here here is the thing.
- 0:55Speaker 2: I was watching this play out on social media and
- 0:58Speaker 2: I saw that they were together, and I saw then
- 1:00Speaker 2: they started announce that they're going to do some podcasts together,
- 1:03Speaker 2: and I was like, gosh, dang it, Chris is going
- 1:05Speaker 2: to get the best podcast with Jason because Chris just
- 1:08Speaker 2: is so good in these moments. He's walked how many
- 1:11Speaker 2: people through breakups and difficulties. I was like, this is
- 1:15Speaker 2: going to be an incredible podcast it and it was.
- 1:18Speaker 2: And here's the headline. Jason Tartick has cried more over
- 1:21Speaker 2: Caitlyn Bristow split than he has in his entire life.
- 1:26Speaker 4: Okay, I want to listen to it for real, but
- 1:28Speaker 4: these are the quotes. These are the juicy quotes from it.
- 1:32Speaker 4: Caitlyn meant so much to me and still currently does,
- 1:36Speaker 4: and I get so worried, and then I want to
- 1:40Speaker 4: preface this. I get so worried about the repercussions of
- 1:44Speaker 4: what I say, and I care still so much for her,
- 1:47Speaker 4: and it's really really hard for me to have these conversations.
- 1:51Speaker 4: So I'm going to do my best. He breaks it
- 1:55Speaker 4: in tears throughout the podcast, and you know, you never
- 1:59Speaker 4: want to indulge in somebody's pain, but like I am,
- 2:03Speaker 4: kind of he begart to hear about, you know, the vulnerability.
- 2:07Speaker 2: Yeah, he put it out there, so it's I think
- 2:09Speaker 2: it's fair for us to be like I want to
- 2:10Speaker 2: listen to because it was vulnerable, and because he was
- 2:14Speaker 2: genuine Yeah.
- 2:15Speaker 4: Okay, he says, you haven't even asked a question yet,
- 2:20Speaker 4: and I'm already crying. It was a tough time to
- 2:24Speaker 4: go back to It's tough. I'm bad at this. I've
- 2:27Speaker 4: worked on it. I've always have had somebody. I've always
- 2:31Speaker 4: been somebody who hates showing my emotions. I hate it,
- 2:34Speaker 4: hate it, hate it.
- 2:35Speaker 3: Okay.
- 2:36Speaker 4: So then he just says like that the breakup wasn't
- 2:40Speaker 4: a shock to either of them. He still didn't want
- 2:43Speaker 4: to believe that the four year relationship was coming to
- 2:45Speaker 4: an end when it was over the summer, and he
- 2:49Speaker 4: admitted that he's cried more in the past six months
- 2:52Speaker 4: that he has in his entire life. But he feels
- 2:55Speaker 4: good about letting up those pent up emotions.
- 2:59Speaker 3: And then.
- 3:01Speaker 4: Chris said, you don't want to be little someone who's
- 3:04Speaker 4: lost the significant other. You don't want to compare it
- 3:08Speaker 4: about a big breakup, a divorce.
- 3:10Speaker 3: It's a loss.
- 3:13Speaker 4: They didn't die. You're gonna see them, but you know,
- 3:19Speaker 4: still not in your life.
- 3:21Speaker 2: It's a very vulnerable show. I mean, tune in if
- 3:24Speaker 2: you're you know, wanting Jason's explanation. You can just tell
- 3:28Speaker 2: he has a lot of care for Kaylen. I mean,
- 3:30Speaker 2: I think if Kaylen listens to the show, she's going
- 3:32Speaker 2: to know that Jason just cares about her. He doesn't
- 3:35Speaker 2: know exactly even how to process things yet. And it's
- 3:38Speaker 2: been a couple of months and he's still very emotional
- 3:41Speaker 2: over this breakup, which again goes back to our theory.
- 3:44Speaker 2: Actually when they did break up that it you know,
- 3:46Speaker 2: they still had a lot of love and respect for
- 3:48Speaker 2: each other. That this wasn't something that either of them
- 3:50Speaker 2: were doing out of like anger. It was just that
- 3:54Speaker 2: it wasn't working.
- 3:55Speaker 4: Yeah, and like we saw it firsthand, like they're getting
- 3:57Speaker 4: along plenty good.
- 3:59Speaker 2: Well, they're getting along just fine. Next headline is this
- 4:03Speaker 2: Bachelor in Paradise is Olivia Lewis the nice Trolling Kit,
- 4:08Speaker 2: the nice trolling cat Izzo in John Henry Spurlock's break up.
- 4:12Speaker 2: Now a little backstory to this as we bring Ashley in.
- 4:16Speaker 2: This was all through social media, right.
- 4:19Speaker 4: Yeah, so I touched on this during our interview with Tanner.
- 4:23Speaker 4: What happened is the day that Kat announced her breakup
- 4:26Speaker 4: with John Henry, Olivia also shared a TikTok seemingly totally
- 4:32Speaker 4: unrelated to the Pussycat dolls. Don't You you know, don't
- 4:37Speaker 4: you wish your girlfriend was hot?
- 4:38Speaker 3: Like me?
- 4:40Speaker 4: Olivia Cat seemed to perhaps be like a little sensitive
- 4:49Speaker 4: on this day because she thought that it was intentionally
- 4:53Speaker 4: directed at her and.
- 4:57Speaker 3: Maybe the breakup and the two of them. Basically we
- 5:01Speaker 3: go back.
- 5:01Speaker 4: And forth with these quotes, but it would be a
- 5:03Speaker 4: little bit it's too much, too convoluted. At the bottom
- 5:06Speaker 4: line is that like Kat thinks it was directed at
- 5:09Speaker 4: her and the split, and then because those two were
- 5:13Speaker 4: always at each other's throat, but really, really, Olivia went
- 5:19Speaker 4: on Instagram or TikTok or whatever it is, and she
- 5:22Speaker 4: was just like, I just want to be clear that
- 5:24Speaker 4: what I posted earlier has nothing to do with Kat,
- 5:28Speaker 4: and I believe her.
- 5:31Speaker 2: I wonder where Kat's I mean, I don't know enough
- 5:35Speaker 2: about the backstory here, but I wonder where Kat's assumption
- 5:37Speaker 2: that it was about her came from.
- 5:39Speaker 3: Don't you wish your girlfriend was hot? Like me?
- 5:41Speaker 4: I mean, that's it's just the song. It's like the
- 5:44Speaker 4: song being like hey, John Henry, like because because she
- 5:47Speaker 4: and Kat like went back and forth with John Henry,
- 5:50Speaker 4: so it was probably like, hey, don't you want to
- 5:53Speaker 4: get back with me?
- 5:55Speaker 2: But couldn't Kylie also have said, like, uh, the same thing,
- 5:59Speaker 2: because wasn't the Olivia and Kylie situation you know for
- 6:04Speaker 2: a while. Yeah, yeah, yeah, it might just be a
- 6:08Speaker 2: very sensitive time. But anyways, it did blow up on
- 6:11Speaker 2: social media, and so that's what we're talking about it.
- 6:14Speaker 2: This was very public. This was not a private like
- 6:16Speaker 2: conversation between the two of them.
- 6:18Speaker 4: Yeah, but but initially it was private when cap d
- 6:23Speaker 4: m'd her sure and was like really.
- 6:28Speaker 2: Yeah, Rachel Rekia says she won't join another Bachelor show.
- 6:43Speaker 2: I love this quote. She says, I've completed the Trinity.
- 6:46Speaker 3: Mm hmm.
- 6:47Speaker 4: I did all three. I'm very lucky that I had
- 6:49Speaker 4: the opportunity to do that. And that's that's that's what
- 6:52Speaker 4: we got.
- 6:53Speaker 3: You know.
- 6:53Speaker 4: I think that's a cute way of putting it, and
- 6:57Speaker 4: there's really it would be kind of.
- 7:00Speaker 3: Well, she could be like Nick, how did Nick?
- 7:04Speaker 1: Oh?
- 7:04Speaker 3: Nick did two main shows, that's why. Yeah, so you know,
- 7:08Speaker 3: I'd say that the Trinity is great.
- 7:10Speaker 4: Stop there, I did four shows too, so like I
- 7:12Speaker 4: can make fun of myself.
- 7:14Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean there, yeah, I don't even think that's
- 7:17Speaker 2: something to like make fun of somebody for me and
- 7:19Speaker 2: Bukowski did what nine or eight. If you got the
- 7:24Speaker 2: opportunity and you're still single, I don't know a better place,
- 7:29Speaker 2: especially now being thirty four and having some friends that
- 7:32Speaker 2: are still single. Looking it's hard. So I might as
- 7:35Speaker 2: well go on a dating show and see if you
- 7:37Speaker 2: know somebody there pops out at you. I think it's
- 7:39Speaker 2: a great thing to keep going.
- 7:40Speaker 4: I tell my friends who are in the thirties and single,
- 7:42Speaker 4: why aren't you doing this? I can get you on
- 7:45Speaker 4: so easily.
- 7:45Speaker 2: Come on, it's worth it. Next headline, you know, Ryan
- 7:50Speaker 2: Sutter and Trista Sutter just celebrated twenty years of marriage.
- 7:53Speaker 2: What an incredible accompliation.
- 7:55Speaker 4: Ooh, that's just so cool that we have somebody from
- 7:57Speaker 4: the franchise that's been married for twenty years.
- 8:00Speaker 2: It's awesome. And here's the headline, Bachelorettes. Ryan Setter calls
- 8:03Speaker 2: twenty twenty three the most challenging year of Trista Sutter
- 8:07Speaker 2: and well Ryan's marriage.
- 8:09Speaker 4: Do you feel like this is like a bit of
- 8:13Speaker 4: a headline that is like for clickbait. Yes, okay, so
- 8:23Speaker 4: I'm going to read it. Says they've never they never
- 8:27Speaker 4: said it would be easy, but this year was one
- 8:29Speaker 4: of the craziest, most challenging, most unpredictable years of the
- 8:32Speaker 4: twenty we've now spent together. We've struggled, we've cried, we've laughed,
- 8:36Speaker 4: we've loved, and we did it all and we did
- 8:38Speaker 4: it together like we always had, you and me hand
- 8:41Speaker 4: in hand, heart to heart.
- 8:43Speaker 3: Let me go back to what I was saying.
- 8:45Speaker 4: It makes it seem like they were like on the
- 8:48Speaker 4: brink of divorce or something. I just think that they
- 8:50Speaker 4: went through a lot this year continuing It started in
- 8:53Speaker 4: front of millions, but today it's us. No wedding special,
- 8:57Speaker 4: no fanfare, no red carpet, just love. That's all we've
- 8:59Speaker 4: ever needed. I love you, Trista Setter now and forever.
- 9:02Speaker 4: Happy anniversary. And then Trista got into the comments and said,
- 9:07Speaker 4: from this words of affirmation, girl, thank you made for
- 9:10Speaker 4: your words and most importantly for your love. You are
- 9:13Speaker 4: my safe harbor, my happy place, and my absolute favorite
- 9:15Speaker 4: love story. Here's to living life and taking chances. So
- 9:19Speaker 4: what they won through this year was something that they've
- 9:22Speaker 4: been going through for a while is you know, his
- 9:25Speaker 4: his dealing with his lime disease, and this year they
- 9:29Speaker 4: lived with with his parents for a significant portion of
- 9:34Speaker 4: the year, which I imagine when you're in your fifties
- 9:38Speaker 4: and you have two kids and your kids are switching
- 9:41Speaker 4: school districts.
- 9:43Speaker 3: It's got to be a lot.
- 9:45Speaker 2: Yeah, definitely, does you know I think it's been It's
- 9:51Speaker 2: been hard. Yeah for them. I know because now they
- 9:55Speaker 2: moved to Denver and so I can't wait to see
- 9:57Speaker 2: him more. But it's so fun with living with in life,
- 10:00Speaker 2: as great as your in laws can be. I have
- 10:02Speaker 2: the best in laws. I've lived with him for a
- 10:04Speaker 2: period of my life. I really enjoyed it. I just
- 10:07Speaker 2: think the difficulty is after like six months, when you're
- 10:10Speaker 2: like using the same kitchen, in the same bathrooms, like
- 10:13Speaker 2: everybody does things differently. I could see where no matter
- 10:16Speaker 2: how much love there is, you just don't want guests
- 10:19Speaker 2: neither part side in your house for that. One final
- 10:23Speaker 2: headline is this Nick vile. Obviously he's going to be
- 10:27Speaker 2: a dad very soon. Says changes will be made to
- 10:30Speaker 2: disgusting pot smoking habit after daughter is born.
- 10:34Speaker 3: Okay.
- 10:35Speaker 4: I talked about this in person with them a couple
- 10:38Speaker 4: of weeks ago. Nick does smoke a lot of poe,
- 10:44Speaker 4: and Natalie wants him to cut it off before the
- 10:47Speaker 4: baby comes, which I think makes a lot of sense
- 10:51Speaker 4: in on the Viall Files this week, he opened up
- 10:55Speaker 4: to guest Crystal Minkoff about this sea infused dinner that
- 11:01Speaker 4: she had with the Real Housewives, and he says he
- 11:05Speaker 4: doesn't judge different ways to inhale to ingest marijuana. He's
- 11:11Speaker 4: preparing to kick all his habits. I have a daughter coming,
- 11:15Speaker 4: so I've been informed that changes will be made, which
- 11:18Speaker 4: I honestly appreciate. He calls it a disgusting habit, says
- 11:22Speaker 4: he's never smoked a cigarette in his life and always
- 11:24Speaker 4: taken pride in that. And meanwhile, I'm just here smoking
- 11:27Speaker 4: a joint. Yeah, And then Natalie said, listen, our daughter
- 11:36Speaker 4: can't go to preschool and say my daddy was smoking
- 11:39Speaker 4: a blunt at home, Like, no, she can't do that.
- 11:44Speaker 4: I also don't really want my daughter to smell we
- 11:47Speaker 4: eat in the house. So well, we'll see if I
- 11:50Speaker 4: think he I think he's gonna stop smoking it, but
- 11:53Speaker 4: like he might like have some gummies around the house.
- 11:58Speaker 2: But changes will be made.
- 12:00Speaker 3: I guess changes will be made.
- 12:02Speaker 2: Changes.
- 12:02Speaker 3: We'll have to talk to Nick directly about this.
- 12:05Speaker 2: Yeah, changes will be made, or you go listen to
- 12:07Speaker 2: his podcast, or I'm sure they dive in more to
- 12:11Speaker 2: the details. Yeah, that's all the headlines we have for
- 12:13Speaker 2: you today.
- 12:14Speaker 4: Again.
- 12:14Speaker 2: Hey, we've had a great couple of weeks. We're having
- 12:16Speaker 2: a lot of fun and there's more good stuff coming.
- 12:19Speaker 2: We have an interview with Tanner, we have well, a
- 12:23Speaker 2: conversation sound an interview. It's a conversation with Zachary Reality,
- 12:26Speaker 2: which we've really enjoyed and I know you as listeners,
- 12:28Speaker 2: have enjoyed us having him on about some of the
- 12:31Speaker 2: big headlines, the breakups from Bachelor in Paradise, So please
- 12:34Speaker 2: go listen to those. We dive into a lot more
- 12:36Speaker 2: details and get well all the tea as people say
- 12:40Speaker 2: that's out there because Zachary knows it all. So stay tuned,
- 12:44Speaker 2: keep listening. We're gonna keep putting out great episodes. But
- 12:48Speaker 2: until next time, I've been Been, I've been Astley.
- 12:50Speaker 3: Bye, guys.
