• Michelle: Welcome back to another episode of Reality Hits Matt. I'm your host, Michelle. And I'm Matt. And today we have a very special in person guest, Steve, with us. Hello, everybody. Good to be here. Steve is my best friend. ⁓ we grew up together ⁓ in Western Pennsylvania, in Pittsburgh. Yep. my best man in Michelle and I's wedding. Yeah. Fitting to have you here. ⁓ yeah. Thanks for having me. Steve, you don't watch ⁓ Secret Lives and World. No, I do watch some reality shows, but this is not one of them. Didn't even know this was a show until until your guys' podcast. So you do listen. You know as much as I know by Michelle telling correct the story episode by episode. Yes. ⁓ you do watch some reality TV. I think you were more into like the older C. TV and T V challenge shows. Traders most recently's pretty solid. It's a good one. ⁓ but yeah, more old school and the reality sort of stuff. And then when it comes to just I think music and pop culture and Actors and actresses. I feel like your knowledge is I keep up pretty good with that. I'm just over here just living my life. Yeah. No, there's some things I'm definitely s stuck in like two thousand and three, but ⁓ I feel like on that end I'm I tr I try to stay. Yeah. Try to keep up with the times. Yeah, I think you definitely do. So Yeah, you're pretty good at it. Matt has no clue. Yeah. Sometimes when we're talking, he's like I'm I know me and you will talk about like Yeah. Olivia Rodrigo or something who's that? Who's that person? I don't know what you're talking about. Still doesn't even know. I had no idea over here. So that's the premise of the show. So was that our server at the restaurant? Who is that girlfriend? yeah, I know her. Yeah. Yeah. Of course. Do you wanna give me and Steve a recap of ⁓ I guess s so apologies for not having a new episode last week. ⁓ life just got hectic and crazy and we had a lot of Social and work commitments that just kinda got the best of us. So I guess this would be a recap from two weeks ago. Yeah. From episode eight. Episode eight. this episode starts out with Taylor at the C ⁓ Awards. Yes. ⁓ she feels like she shouldn't be there. she's kinda like confused as to why brought her there. I guess she was talking to of folks there and they like really excited to have her there, but she just feels like she doesn't deserve it Yeah. So her her mom's with her. Yep. ⁓ they flew out together. ⁓ her mom was there watching on the red carpet. her dad was at home watching. All of his friends were texting him. Like it was a big event, big big moment for her. Yeah. ⁓ I guess she shared a story to social media ⁓ and ⁓ some of her friends in mom liked ⁓ viewed it, liked it, but nobody commented. Yeah. So then she posts another story being like, you know, did the CMAs, you know, I'm out here, no I'm got not getting any support from from my friends. Yeah. Which is crazy. That's that's a thing that doesn't make sense to me, and I guess 'cause I'm not like I have social media platforms, but I don't use them for anything other than like doom scrolling when I'm bored. Right. I would much rather have somebody personally text me and say like, Yeah Hey, good job or you look great or whatever as opposed to a comment on a I mean, I'd have posted anything in years, but if I did make a post like I don't care Right. She's got four million followers, so like how many countless comments are gonna be on Right, you're gonna get that from the fans. Yeah. I mean, I would love like close circle to be. And that was like Michaela's personal. Yeah, and that was Michaela's point at the end of the day was she would rather have from people she knows the private support of it all rather than the public, but she've she knows Taylor and knows that Taylor would rather go and get her validation on the internet. Right, right. So she had said that. ⁓ you know, nobody reached out. Well, it it turns out that a lot of people did reach out. They were texting her, there's a group text, they were calling her, telling her she looked great, she did a good job. ⁓ so yeah, that's kind of that like I guess Taylor said to Macy and Michaela, like, it should be both. Like I should you should do it privately and publicly. Which she needs that validation, which I mean if your friends reach out, they reach out. That's they're your friends. So there's all that. ⁓ so she posts that I think it was ⁓ Jesse maybe that was ⁓ you know, sorry, like she posts a quick response like, Sorry I did, ⁓ you Gave her free hair extensions. Did your hair extensions, took care of your mom's hair, texted you, shared your story, did all this. ⁓ but sorry, like I didn't comment. Yeah. Like I'll bow down to you now, like Queen Taylor. Yeah. Yeah. And like that was kinda like lighthearted. I don't think it was like to be like super like a dig at her. Based off of like the rest of the episode, it seems like Taylor like thought that was funny. Yeah. And she thinks that like some of her posts like like what she did in posting, she was like, I didn't think it was that serious. Yeah, yeah. It's almost like she didn't care that no one posted, but she did. Yeah. But she also was just like posting that story for likes and comments. Right. Yeah, it's ⁓ on top of the yeah, your other thing. Yeah, like when you get I feel like when you get to that level of the these like these people are you have to post. Yeah, you've got to post every day, multiple. What can I do to stir the pot? It's almost like, you know, it's her job in a way. A little bit. Yeah. So if her friends that are also kind of coworkers and don't con it's like ⁓ okay. Yeah. I don't know. Yeah. Yeah. It's for the the wat the viewers. Yeah. I don't know. Yeah. Yeah. But the post from Jesse's didn't seem like it was too crazy. Like I feel like they could have just moved on. No, she she did move on. She posted that and then like both of them just Yeah, they both could have just moved on and just gone living normal lives. ⁓ Demi blows everything out of proportion. ⁓ calls Taylor a narcissist, says she has brain development issues, ⁓ all kind of shit. Which that's that's just demi, I guess. ⁓ And she was like responding to like fans. Like she was just like all in the comments. The one thing from last week was ⁓ or last episode that you had mentioned was like, ⁓ well, wait till season two drops and you'll get more context. And you're like, shit, we're eight episodes in or seven or eight episodes. Where's the context at? So like I said, maybe we get it This episode. Maybe you'll tell us about what a great person Demi is. And we'll get the context in episode nine and ten, right? Right. It's gotta be it. It's gotta be here. ⁓ it's maybe it's episode ten. I don't know. Maybe it's not nine, isn't it? All right, all right. So then the episode moves along. They're getting ready. They're all getting ready for this big party, this Saints and Sinners party. ⁓ which When you said party, I was thinking they were getting ready for Demi's Christmas party, but that comes later. That's in that's in the last whose party is this? Like what is is this like an event for this is an event for Macy and Jesse's businesses. So it's ⁓ right, it's a collab, yeah. Jiz Styles and Baby Mama. Yeah. Okay. wasn't there a Satan's and Sinners party like that was just them? No, so the the Saints and Sinners came from when they had season one. Yeah. And then they had the Valentine's Day party. That's right and at the Valentine's Day party they kind of classified like, well, they're saints and they're sinners, and that was because Jen was kind of alienating people by not inviting them to the baby blessing. To the baby blessing. And so it's like, Well, we're sinners. And then it kind of like all like turned into like them just referring to themselves as the Saints versus Sinners. And so now they're using it as like so this collab they invited like the public too and like fans. So it's like come to our Saints versus Sinners party. And so Okay. All right. So we got this party everybody's getting ready for. Macy and Michaela meet up with Taylor. ⁓ they they ⁓ pick her up in the car. Macy sit in the back seat she says we're gonna have an intervention. They get Taylor ⁓ and they're talking to her and I I think a lot of good comes out of it. not so much that Taylor like is regretful or sorry for what she did, she still sticks by what she did, but she sees their side ⁓ because they're all friends, they all are, you know, together as mom talk. ⁓ so Taylor shooting on them on the internet to four million people. Yeah. Makes them look bad, makes them look like, you know, they're not good friends when, you know, a lot of them still are friends. They do get along. So I think she kind of sees that side and starts to like you know, realize, like have a little bit of sympathy and empathy for for what she did. her and Layla are flying out to New York City, Taylor and Layla for a brand deal. ⁓ so They're flying out and then doing this brand deal and then they're flying. I guess when they're out there doing the brand deal, like they're getting on a private jet and flying back to Utah to go to this party. So like they have a long day ahead of them. So one of the things ⁓ came out of this, ⁓ Layla's like, ⁓ you know, I have your back and this and that. Layla shows Taylor like group messages ⁓ Demi, Jesse. Jesse, Michaela and Macy. Michaela and Macy. So it's it's a group message with all of them ⁓ without Taylor in ⁓ And ⁓ like and like they're just talking shit on Taylor. Like she's as dumb as a rock. ⁓ stuff like that. ⁓ So Taylor sees all these messages. ⁓ they're coming back for the party, ⁓ the Saints and Sinners party. Okay, so they're at the party, they're all hanging out. You had said Taylor has like these angel wings on, like they're like wider than she is tall. Yeah. So she's just making a scene. Like she is she's an agent. Did you see it? Yeah. No. Hold on. I've seen so they're there, they're having the you know, they're talking, ⁓ and who it? Was it Macy that was like we should to the back room and and have this conversation? ⁓ Michaela. Michaela. So Michaela's like, you know, I think things are getting a little heated. Like, let's go talk in private 'cause there's a lot of people there. This this is an event, it's a collab. It's not just the the influencers. ⁓ so they go to the back room and this bitch shows up. What the Keep in mind like everyone else's wings are like very tight and like like right like right next to Yeah. That's even worse today. Picture when you guys the last episode. I was like Okay, yeah, they're probably I I pictured the same the same style that Yeah everybody else probably did. Yeah. But just like maybe a little bit bigger. Not full on Those went all the way to the floor. Like Okay. Okay. So they they go to the back, ⁓ and it's like everyone versed Taylor, but you had said it's probably just 'cause Taylor's on the other side of the table because nobody can sit next to No one can sit next to her. Because her wings are so big. ⁓ so you know, they're all talking. I Taylor sent an apology earlier on before the party. Yes. ⁓ and Demi was not accepted, you know, ⁓ whatever. Like I think that this is genuine. Yeah, yeah. You're fake. Yeah. So they're talking. There's a lot of back and forth. I can't remember all that happens, but the one thing that sticks out to me. ⁓ mentions ⁓ well, you know, Demi, like, you're not perfect or whatever. ⁓ And she's like, well, she doesn't want to say what she wants to say because Jesse like involves Jesse. And then she Jesse's like, No, it's fine, whatever. And then it comes out that Taylor says that Demi like tells people not to go to Jay-Z Styles. Yeah. Like they're not good with color. Like, ⁓ they're just good for extensions and this and that. And Jesse, like you said, just like looks like defeated. Like that's your best friend. Yep. You're sending people away from her business. ⁓ so like that's what really stood out to me. there was some other talking going on there. It seemed like some people did accept her apology. Yeah, I I think at the end of the day, like they were kind of confused if Taylor was actually sorry. And then Whitney ended it with like, Are you sorry? And Taylor's like, Yes, I am sorry for posting that and not like taking c consideration like people coming after you and like the effects it had on you guys. I'm sorry. But like as a whole, like you like I'm not sorry for the feelings I had about you guys not posting. Right. I'm sorry for the consequences of like how I handled it. Yeah, and that was enough for Whitney. And she was like, Okay, I'm done, I got up. And but then like Demi like kept like going after Taylor to the point where like she brought in her son into the conversation. ⁓ right, right. And was like, let's go talk to Dakota about how you're ⁓ and she's like, Yeah, bring Dakota in. And then Demi's like, No, no, no. It's like Yeah. So Like come on, like what do you want? Like if she just wants to I'm gonna protect your ever in this situation. Like you brought up this situation. Like this had nothing to do with any of that. So it was just like I feel like at that point they were just like going tit for a tat because like they were just mad at one another. Yeah, and before that, like Whitney was taking Demi's side earlier in the episode, like before all that, which was kinda crazy. Well she's never thought of Taylor as being a good friend. So like if anyone can agree with her, she's gonna jump on that. Yeah, because she's trying to get back in the group and all that. She feels validated that someone else feels that way and then to me feels validated that she feels that way. Right, right. So they bot they they forged this friendship out of hatred for Taylor. ⁓ Right, right. Absolutely. Is there anything else that happens in this episode? No, no. The only thing that happens in this episode that I feel of note because it comes up in this next episode is that Macy went through IVF and is now pregnant. ⁓ right, right. Other than that, I think you hit on the highlights, so Okay. That's my recap. I do want to say anything I missed. No maybe, maybe not. I do want to say though, I don't it is so impressive the way you recap. I try, you know. 'Cause like I can't Even my favorite shows. Yeah. Like I'll watch it and then you ask me the next day, I'll be like, ⁓ it was on. Yeah. I don't so the fact of the details that alone I'm just like, you know what? So I I do Michelle tells me about it, obviously we're here. Right. Tell everybody about it. I do listen one other time, like the day before we do a show just to like get it. It's nice to be here. It's kinda like you see how the software is made. Yeah, yeah. All right. But yeah, no, I do I do listen. Okay. I I listened to the podcast. Which is what I did. Yeah. I listened to the previous episode again on the drive here before I got here today. Yeah, I don't watch the show at all, but we talk about it. Yeah. And then I listen to it one like once over and then I give my recap. Yeah. Yeah. Absolutely. Right. We ready to get into episode nine. two, episode nine. Season two episode nine. Tell us about it. Okay. All right. The book of reckoning. Reckoning. So we started at Jesse's house, and Jesse says that a while ago they decided they to go another girl's trip. So Jesse planned everything and they're gonna go to New Orleans. ⁓ Okay. ⁓ She's nervous because following the Saints and Sinners party, things have been pretty awkward between many of the girls. You don't say. Macy shows up at Jesse's house and brings her some cookies and Jesse's packing. The amount of detail, I will never be this type of girl. She has planned out every outfit and has taken Polaroids of what goes together, and then it's all packed with the Polaroid on top. And then she has everything so she doesn't forget and then she has every single outfit plan. absolutely. This is a lot. But it's giving like do you remember the movie Clueless? Yes. And she had the little computer thing with her closet. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, and then it's sort of not as cool. Not not closely. Yeah. Even being that. Just Polaroids. Less technology. Right. And that movie was made in ninety four. Yeah. Yeah. I don't know. We're going back and forth. But I'm still like if I had to pack like that, it'd be like, What about weather? What about this? What like you know, like I need options. Like, you just you just throw all of the shit you own into a suitcase and figure it out when you get there. I like the lay stuff. I have one pair of jeans, I have shirts, I have this. I'm like, do I have everything? Like jeans, shirts, shoes. ⁓ I'm good. it. Yeah. Done. But I was impressed. I was ⁓ like So she's showing Macy all of her outfits. ⁓ and Jesse tells Macy that she actually found out that she has to get her thyroid ⁓ removed. ⁓ half of it. So partially removed. Okay. I guess after season one came out, she had a bunch of nurses that reached out to her ⁓ and told her that it looked like she had an enlarged thyroid, which then prompted her to get it checked out. Okay. The doctors say that they found multiple nodules on her thyroid, so she has to get it partially removed, but she won't know if it's cancerous until after the surgery. And if she had decided to leave it in, it could potentially s spread to her lymph nodes and through her blood. And That wouldn't be good. So Jesse at this point is kind of like between all of like my health stuff. Like I just like kind of just don't give a fuck. Like I'm just like I'm kinda over it. Like I just wanna like have fun and just like not involve myself in this drama. Right. Okay. So Jesse tells Macy that she's nervous about to me on this girl's trip because besides obviously Taylor and Demi drama, she thinks that she'll have to say something to Demi about the comments she made about her hair studio. ⁓ right, right. Yeah. They haven't so they got They haven't talked yet. Okay. And so Mace you do shit hair. ⁓ At Dis Styles, they do shit hair. ⁓ Macy agrees this is a tricky situation because ⁓ If that were her best friend because they're supposedly best friends, ⁓ she wouldn't do something like that. And Macy tells Jesse that her and Michaela actually talked about the situation. And Michaela sa told Macy, like, if you ever did that to me, like we wouldn't be friends anymore. ⁓ jeez. And that's the way Jessie's kind of feeling at this point, 'cause she's like, I don't know if I can trust her. So she's just kind of like lost a little bit. Okay. Macy feels like mom talk right now is pretty petty and toxic. And she says No way. No way. She says the drama. Right. That's just it. That's just it. And she says the drama's becoming the cancer in the group. So Macy's hoping this girls trip can iron some of the issues and just like let them move past. I feel like every time they go on a girl's trip it makes it worse. Yeah. It's just more issues. Yeah. It's just yeah. Yeah. I d I don't disagree with that. ⁓ I like this one though, leading into it, was like Even though there was some drama at the Saints and Sinners, like it wasn't as bad as like some of the other ones. Like Whitney, like going on a girl strip without her and Michaela like being on speaking terms, like when they went to San Ant or San Diego ⁓ for the pickleball tournament, I was like, Okay, this is gonna get like this is gonna get bad because Michaela like fully hates Whitney. Like from the bottom of her heart. Yeah. Wasn't the pickleball tournament in Arizona? It was, you're right. Phoenix. Phoenix? I don't know. They go everywhere. I don't know. San Diego ⁓ San Diego is IVF. Right. They did Arizona. They did Las Vegas. And now they're doing New Orleans. So we hit our intro, which ⁓ Steve got my snap and was like, I didn't realize that was the intro to show. ⁓ Yeah. The one where Mandy was watching it. Yeah. It's like what is the ⁓ that's The show. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. So he saw all the girls getting out of the water with their hair wet. sh you know, like trying to be sexy and that's like So they all land in New Orleans and a party bus is waiting to pick them up and the girls then joke and acknowledge that party buses are the only mode of transportation that they get around in. And when he was like, Yeah That's not the worst problem. No, it really isn't. Like he was like, if there's not a stripper pole in the middle, we can't go. We can't prove that we were here. ⁓ Miranda tells the girls that after the Saints and Sinners party, she did a sage cleanse ⁓ to Cleanse the aura of the group. So a sage clan is a ceremonial practice to clear negative energy, purify spaces, and promote mental clarity. All right. Well this must be a c this trip's getting off to a great start. I don't see what can go wrong. All the girls are like, We should do one right now. Like we need one. And it was funny 'cause like Demi and Jesse are like sitting next to each other on the bus and like Demi is like acting like nothing is wrong. And she's like I think she thinks that her and Jesse are good and they're just gonna move past this. Right. And then Demi just like starts saying, like, ⁓ Taylor not being here. This it makes me feel good that she's not here. Like I don't have to worry. And, you know, she Like she thinks that Taylor's playing a voidant and it's probably good because Taylor should be afraid of her. And all the other girls are like, Okay, like calm down. Yeah. And so she's like, Man, doesn't it feel good that Taylor's not here? Like that's a toxic person in this group. This is gonna be great. Like her and Jen are missing and like all the other girls are like, No, like this isn't great. ⁓ Feel free to chime in and see. No, I mean that's I got ⁓ Layla in an interview says that it sucks that Taylor isn't there and she does feel bad for not having Taylor's back during the Saints and Sinners party like she told Taylor that she would. Right, yeah, because she had said that when they were together for their brand deal and she was showing her the text messages and stuff. She's like, Yeah, you'll have my back, right? Yeah. And then she did not be silent. ⁓ ⁓ and she feels like Demi is pretty responsible for the group's divide right now. And she thinks to me cross the line by bringing Taylor's child into it. So that's fair. She's sitting there like, I don't agree with what Demi is saying. Like Taylor should be here right now. Like she is the problem. And Michaela and Macy honestly feel the same way where like they think Demi is probably the more toxic one right now. And trying to bring them into like pick sides kind of like avenue where like they don't want to pick sides. Yeah. So after Demi says that she feels good that Taylor's not there, she asks the rest of the girls, like, Don't you feel the same way? Do you guys not feel like you're walking on eggshells around her? And Macy and Michaela both say no. And I feel like a few of the other girls said no as well, but I can only see Macy and Michaela. Okay. And Michaela says that she feels worse now because she thought the blow up was just between Demi and Taylor. Right, right. So now that Taylor's not there, she's kind of nervous about like if she's upset with the other girls too. Yeah. And so Michaela's like kinda like, I wish she was here because like now I'm just like concerned that like there's something wrong with between us. Right. It's almost like I'm now getting associated with the same feeling. Yeah. Even though I wasn't even there. Yeah. But because you're not here, it's c yeah, kinda like a blanket. Yeah. Yeah. Like, blanket, I don't want to hang out with you guys. Right. So they arrive at the Airbnb and Jesse hired a private cook for dinner. ⁓ then all the girls are going upstairs, ⁓ and Whitney says, Ooh, let's Okay, so this is what confused me. So they're all going upstairs to get ready for dinner when they get there and then someone goes, Ooh, Whitney, let's have a drink together and Whitney goes, I would, but I'm breastfeeding. Do they drink or do they not drink? Yeah, I thought some of them do, but like Whitney doesn't drink. I thought she didn't either. But then like there's been a couple things where she said I'm like like remember when she announced her pregnancy and she was like, ⁓ I'm not drinking tonight. Yeah. Yeah. And it's like, okay, don't you not normally drink? Yeah. And then she was like, trying to I don't know. I mean Do dirty sodas have any impact on your fetal development? I don't think so. Studies are still out. ⁓ It's too it's too early to tell. There's no Surgeon General's warning on the side of the dirty soda cup. I don't know. Apparently Taco Bell dirty sodas. We'll have to go get one and see if they put a warning sign on there. I didn't see that. ⁓ okay. A couple weeks ago in the DoorDash late night. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Michaela and Macy were promoting it. We should go get one. All right. Yeah. Let's go. Baja blast dirty soda. Let's go. Hey, if Baha Blast is involved, like I'll I'll give it a shot. says ⁓ she wants to have fun but she's stressed out because she's still hiding her pregnancy from the other girls. Especially to me 'cause she's going through infertility right now and like dealing with that. As they are sitting down at the table, the girls' phones start to ping. And Macy says, Did everyone just get the video from Jen that she just sent in the group chat? So Jen sends everyone a video to a giant group chat. The group chat includes Jesse and Demi as well. Includes everyone. Yeah. In the video, Jen tells the girls that she's been going through some dark times in her life and the first trimester of her pregnancy husband, Hal. She says that in order to protect this baby, she thinks it's important for her to stay home and get some rest. So she's still gonna take a step back from mom talk. But she does realize that she's been hurting a lot because she feels like she's hurt some of the girls in the group. And she says that she's really sorry about that. Okay. She ends it with, I love you guys, and I hope to talk to you all soon. So at that point, like I think she like is trying to like bridge that gap at the at some point and like try to like open up those relationships again. But like I don't think she's ready yet to like fully come back. Yeah. And a or fully talk out what needs to be talked out with Jesse and Demi particularly. Right, right. Yeah, we haven't seen Jen in a while. It's been a couple episodes. Yeah. It's been a few episodes. I think we saw Zach for like one episode but not Jen. So get an update on her. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Layla says that from someone who's dealt with mental health issues, she's willing to give Jen grace and give her like another shot. She says it doesn't like negate what she did to people in the room, but she thinks that everyone should just like have like take it with a grain of salt and like give her a little bit of grace and like if they're able to work through it, work through it. So she she says that to the group and then Miranda says that Jen has told her multiple times that she really wants to apologize to Jesse. separately ⁓ for the way that she treated her in that conversation that happened at that coffee shop where they started yelling at one another. Yeah, yeah. ⁓ and Jesse says just thinking of the poor barista. Here's your hot chocolates. I'm so sorry. ⁓ and Jesse does say that she is open to having that conversation with her. So she says, you know, like I regret the way I handled it. She handled it poorly. I would have that conversation with her. And if we can have like a productive, calm conversation, like I'm willing to move on. And all the girls kind of give her kudos for that at that point, saying, like, you know, that's like really big of you. Like that's a good thing that you're like willing to do that. And then Demi steps in and goes, I just have a really hard time with people saying that they're working on themselves and that they've come so far. And Macy counters and says, Well, things can change. And Demi says, in a week and a half. And then Macy Macy goes, Well, yeah, like it can happen. And Demi says she's just not buying it. And so all the girls seem like deflated. Like like literally Michaela's interview was just going, like they're just so exhausted by how strongly Demi feels about it. Right. And I think it comes back to my point where it's like you can have those feelings about someone and have to work their that yourself, but you're bringing you're trying to bring other people into it and like force them to feel the way that you're feeling right, right. And that's not how they're feeling right now. So it's like you're almost invalidating all your friends in the room by saying like you should feel this way. You should do this. Yeah, everyone's different and go and go through it differently. And yeah, such a yeah. Such a vibe killer. Such a vibe killer overall. Demi in an interview says that the crying videos is manipulative and weird to her. She said a crying video will never not be weird to me. Like why would you take your phone out and record it? Okay. She thinks that Jen should have sent texts to the people she was referencing separately, like the people that she hurt. And Demi doesn't think Jen is capable of doing that. Like Demi, like maybe you need to go kick rocks. But if she would have done what Demi wanted, then she would have complained about that too. Yeah. Like there's no pleasing her. Yeah. Like whatever you do, she's gonna be like you should have done the opposite. There will something wrong with it. Absolutely. Yeah. She has to have an opinion, she has to be right. Yeah. It's always like someone else is wrong, I'm right, I'm right, I'm right. Like you know, she talks so much about taking accountability. I don't think I've ever heard her take accountability because she's always right. Right. Well yeah. I mean when you're always right you don't have to take out Holy Shet. Yeah. Demi in the group says that she's still hesitant to tell Jen anything because she feels like Jen brings up the past a lot. And Macy steps in and goes, Well, I feel like I'm hesitant to tell anyone in this group anything, to be honest with you. And Demi goes, Really? And Macy goes, Yeah, like everyone's just bringing up the past. And she brings up the Demi and Taylor fight right in front of Demi. And she goes, The fact that you two were both bringing up past things that have happened, Taylor and Demi, like Why would I then want to turn around and tell anyone anything? Like I don't feel comfortable with any of you girls. Instead of taking accountability for saying, like, yeah, I brought up Taylor's past, Demi then says, Let's not demonize the whole group because there are valuable friendships in this group sitting in this room right now. And Mikaela says Demi is trying is being too harsh on Jen because at this point they don't Know the severity of what Jen's going through, but like, yes, there are valuable friendships. Like Michaela and Macy have a valuable friendship. Right. Like, I would think Demi and Jesse, like you would have a valuable friendship, but maybe not. Do they? Right. And then like Whitney is trying to get back in the friend group. Miranda's trying to get back in the friend group. Like they're kind of like on the skirts with people. Like, so it's really only Michaela and Macy that have this strong friend to. Bond that they can tell each other shit and like not have to worry about what they're gonna like hear from the other girls. Like so it's like, is there really that many valuable friendships here? Like and also like don't demonize the whole group. No, she's pointing you out because you brought up shit. It's like almost like don't attack me because I was wrong. Right, right, so at the end of the conversation, all the girls get up to get ready to go out. They're gonna go to a burlesque show. ⁓ So Jessie says that she her lessons from Chippendales. ⁓ So she didn't spring this anyone. She let them know far in advance the plans that they were gonna go to a burlesque show. Okay. ⁓ So she says all the were aware of this ⁓ and they're all going, so shouldn't be any drama. The girls get there ⁓ and ⁓ It seems like they're more shocked about this than when they were at Chippendales. Okay. And they're like n all of them are like, I guess I didn't know what a burlesque show was gonna entail. They're like they're they're like, we've seen everything from boobs to cooch, like it's like it was all out there. Yeah. Layla says she's gonna have PTSD from the night. one of the ladies pulls out a joint from her hoo-ha and then lights it and like takes a hit from it and then brings out in the audience and Layla took a hit from it. And then Michaela yells, she pulled that out of her vagina and Layla was like, ⁓ my god So Layla's like scarred right now. She's like, ⁓ my god Okay. ⁓ man. All right. Lately in an interview, Begs would produce she's Please cut that out of the show. She's like, I had no idea. She's I saw it happen, but then there was a lot going on, so I forgot that that's where it came from. So then I took the hit of it. Like, she was like, There was just a lot happening. But again, aren't we ⁓ not so much of where it came from, but why are we hitting joints? ⁓ well, she's already she's already said like she cause she's not in the converted or like yeah, she's not around, yeah, right. She like she grew up around. Yeah, yeah. And then you became warm and at like sixteen. But she's the one her boyfriend Cameron where he she's like, ⁓ yeah, you should have a beer. You should try gummies. Yeah. So like she's all for it. Like she's like, I'm gonna hit that vag joint. Like I guess. Yeah. I don't know. But Understood. Yeah. All right. So we get back on the bus and Macy takes out hand sanitizer and is like Everyone give me your kiss. And then Mikaela goes, Layla, open your mouth. So I should mention that Taylor decided not to go on this trip. So Taylor hasn't been there the whole time. Okay. ⁓ Taylor invited? Yes. She so she Yes. Okay. And the night before the trip they were supposed to leave on the trip, Jordan, Jesse's husband, got a call from Dakota. Dakota then tells Jordan, Yeah, Taylor's not going on the trip. And that's how the girls found out that she wasn't going. So she never even communicated to them. She didn't text them. She's like So if Dakota never said anything, they would just assume that she's They'd be like, She didn't show up. Yeah, where's she just no show? Yeah. Got it. Okay. So we go back to Bravo, Utah, and we're at Taylor's parents' house. ⁓ Taylor's mom and sister is sitting around a table doing a puzzle and Taylor comes over to hang out with her family. She says she's very triggered by what Demi said about bringing up her lowest point in the her like life. About the domestic violence in her kid. ⁓ and the fact that she brought her son into it just like wasn't okay with her. So she just was like, I decided not even to like engage in that this weekend. Like I'd rather be with my kids and spend time with them than deal with drama and stuff like the girl strip. and at this point her mom and her sister didn't even know what happened at the Saints and Sinners party, so she like caught them up on the drama of it all. Her sister immediately was like, I would go to war. Like she's not your friend, like I'd I would fight someone like F that person. And Taylor's mom tried calling Demi a C U N T, like spelling it out. And she goes, She's a CW, and then they're like, CW what? I'm like, Leanne, like learn how to spell. Like the network. Tonight on the CW. Tonight. Taylor's Taylor's mom asks ⁓ Taylor if she thinks the other girls have her back and Taylor just goes, I don't know. Taylor's mom says that Layla just goes with the flow because she's so young, and Taylor adds that Miranda doesn't say much. And Taylor's mom says she's surprised Miranda doesn't stick up for Taylor more. And Taylor's sister says it's because Miranda doesn't have a backbone. So they're not fans of this friend group. Yeah. And don't think that any of them have Taylor's back. I think it was a good point about Layla being so young because she is the youngest out of this whole group. Yeah. Yeah. Well she said she would have Taylor's back before and she didn't she also was like I'm afraid of Demi. Right. She's influenced. Like so it's like Yeah, she wants to fit in the order of crew. Yeah. Yeah. And as far as the Miranda thing, it comes up like Miranda kind of ad not addresses these comments, but like We'll circle back to this because Miranda says something that caught my attention that I'm like, ⁓ like that's why she's not saying anything. So we'll get there a little bit. Taylor's mom says that they should all be more supportive for Taylor because she created mom talk. And Taylor says, Thank you, but like I can't keep saying that because the girls get pissed off and like they're gonna start resenting me. Like I can't just be like Well, I created mom talk, I create a mom talk, I create a mom talk. Like that at this point, like that's not the argument anymore. That like that's not the drama. It's not like who should be like leader. It's like, okay, like people have done things that like we need to like take accountability for and address. And like posting that video has now spawned like this whole open, like dialogue of like everything that's happened that people are pissed about Taylor about. So it's like now she kinda has like backtracking like talk to them about like all this shit to like kinda iron it out. And it's like Maybe you should have just not posted that video. So at this point, Taylor in an interview says that she doesn't know what's being said behind her back, and she doesn't know where she stands with the other girls, and she just feels really alone right now. Back at the Airbnb, Whitney goes to bed, so she's not a part of this conversation that's about to happen. So it's just Layla, Michaela, Macy, Demi, Miranda, and Jesse. Layla says with all the drama that's going on, they have a lot that they need to talk about, but at least she's a little high right now. So it'll make the pain a little bit less true shading. Layla asked me, which this is what I started noticing. Like Layla's like, ⁓ man, I hate this drama, like I don't wanna and then she goes, So like and like brings up the drama. Like she's the first person that's like, Let's dive into this. Yeah, yeah. Nice. So Layla asks Dami if she ever sees herself being friends with Taylor again. And Demia says that she doesn't see Taylor being able to take full accountability and she doesn't see Taylor being emotionally mature enough to have deep, meaningful friendships. So her answer right now is no. Again with the accountability, take accountability then. Like you need to take accountability. Right. Like there's no accountability from this girl's end, and it pisses me the fuck off. Yeah. Macy asks, so what's your status with Whitney? And Demi says that they are in the process of repairing their friendship. So Macy's kind of circling back where like season one, this is what Demi was saying about Whitney. And Demi wanted everyone to hate Whitney. And Demi was like trying to get everyone against Whitney. Yeah. Now it's Taylor or it was Jen. And it's like everyone needs to be on Demi's side and she's right and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. It's like whatever opportunity she has to rip on somebody, she's it. Yeah. And she wants to be Queen B. And originally, like, Whitney was, I guess, trying to be like the new Taylor. And like, so Demi went after Whitney. And it's like now that Whitney's not a part of the group or like trying to get back in the group, it's like, okay, Taylor's back to being number one, so I'm gonna go after Taylor. Like you know, like it's like the girls that are like almost creeping to the top. She was like, Well, like, I can't let that take them out. Yeah. And it's like really fucking annoying. Macy in an interview says that the girls are confused by Demi's friendship with Whitney since Demi previously said the same thing with Whitney that she said about Taylor. Macy thinks that Whitney coming to Demi's defense at the Saints and Sinners party was weird. I didn't necessarily think that Whitney was coming to Demi's defense. I don't think she had Taylor's back, but I think at the end of the day she was trying to get the conversation back on topic because it like started going from like the petty IG post to you're saying that Jesse doesn't do good hair to you you have domestic violence against your boyfriend and like have the cops call it against you. Like at that point like Whitney was like, can we just resolve the petty IG post and like move on. Like I think she was just kinda like bring it back because she saw it spiraling. So I don't know if there was more to that conversation that they didn't show, but like that to me wasn't like having Demise back. It was like Okay, Taylor, were you sorry about your post? And she said yes and she's like, Okay, cool, I'm good. And then she like got up and left. Yeah. So I think they take something like where it's like not like she's like going f to bat for Taylor and it's like all of a sudden she has Demise back and it's like I don't know. Demi tells the girls that she spoke with Whitney the other day about the Taylor situation and it's been nice because her and Whitney feel similarly about Taylor and Demi has ⁓ really alone in her opinion with the other girl. So she just admitted that like ⁓ ⁓ with Whitney now because she feels the same way about Taylor. Right. Yeah. And that's the only reason why. Demi in an interview says she's really frustrated that they even need to have this conversation right now and she thinks that the other girl should feel the same way because Taylor is the problem. Jesse brings up the fact that Taylor would have been completely different if she had not met Dakota right after the swinging sandal. And that's probably why she's really erratic. ⁓ okay. Interesting. To me says, wasn't she always that way? And so at this point Miranda does step in and says, I feel like she was a lot more mellow at one point. So Yeah, it probably would have been different. And Macy says that she thinks if Taylor had taken a year to heal from the swinging scandal, it would be a completely different situation right now. So ⁓ I guess the swinging scandal happened and then immediately after she met Dakota and then like it just spiraled. Yeah. Okay. So Demi says that she thinks that Taylor chooses chaos. ⁓ And says Demi is playing a game of who can stab the knife deeper and then twist it the hardest. ⁓ And losing the perspective of what really is important in mom talk. And like it is true 'cause like all the girls are kind of like trying to like talk through the Taylor situation and where Taylor's at mentally and she's working through herself and You know when you're like an empathetic person, you try to put yourself in someone's shoes and it's like, okay, well, like maybe this is what's really happening. Right. Yeah. Demi has no empathy. It's like this is this is what this this she is she is chaotic. She is yeah, narcissist, she is blah blah blah. Like it is what she says is reality to Demi, and there's no putting herself in someone else's shoes seem to try to understand. Even the gen thing. ⁓ ⁓ that we that crying video was weird. And Jen in the video is like, sorry, I just got out therapy. So, like, Jen probably in therapy had all these emotions and feelings and like talked through a lot of her relationships with the girls and then felt the need to go out and like make this video to say, Hey, I'm still here. Right. And then sorry. And then she's like, ⁓ that's weird. That's weird that she would take a crying video of herself. It's like to me, like, go fuck yourself. Being like being in the service industry, it's like I've been called pretty much everything under the book and have dealt with a lot of situations and mo nine times out of ten, people will come back and apologize and like look like I had a bad day at work. I just lost a family member. Yeah. You know, and I when I'm training like staff, I always try to tell them you sometimes you're just the person that's there. It's not you. Yeah. It's not a personal thing. It's just This is how they're dealing with other stuff and this just happens to be the thing that Yeah. Yeah, you were you were next in line to get like yeah yelled at. So but the key is, you know, owning that and coming back and all Yeah, absolutely. And that's great. Yeah. But yeah, she doesn't seem like not at all. At all. Yeah. No. So the next day they go sightseeing, the girls are having breakfast, and Layla comes downstairs. ⁓ well, I guess this is before they go sightseeing, so they're still at the house, the girls are having breakfast, and Layla comes downstairs and she says that she has a surprise and they're gonna play a little game. Okay. It's not the truth box. Not another truth box. She empties out a bunch of pregnancy tests on the counter and says that they're gonna play pregnancy roulette. What? Layla says the reason they are doing this is because she's late on her period, so they're gonna see if anyone's pregnant in the group. Okay. Like, why do you have to involve everybody else? At this point, so like Macy is freaking out because she is pregnant. She is pregnant and she didn't want to announce to the girls. Demi is like this is like triggering for me because she's going through infertility. She's trying to get pregnant. And she's like, every time I take a pregnancy test I cry. Yeah. And like all the other girls, like I mean like Whitney doesn't care 'cause she's like freshly postpartum and like breastfeeding and she and her husband got a vasectomy. So she's like, I better not fucking And so some of the girls are like, I don't care, like I'll pee on a stick, it it should be negative. Like Yeah. And then some of the other girls are like this this ain't it. Yeah, no. So they all go and they participate in in my head, I'm like, I would have just taken the pregnancy test and like dunked it in the toilet. Yeah, like run it under a sink and then like just had like a negative. And then also like not to like if like I knew I was pregnant and like I didn't want to me to be triggered, like like I'm like I'll just like have a false negative 'cause I'm not ready to announce you know, like Yeah. You know, like let's just have everyone be negative and like this whole thing from the get go is just fucking weird. Yeah. So it wasn't TikTok trend for a little bit where like girls really see. And so it's like you would put but it's like you'd put a bottle of wine and it's like, let's play pregnancy roulette, and then if we're both negative, we'll drink this bottle of wine. So it was like kind of a funny thing because it'd be like, ⁓ I'm negative, and then like you get hammered. ⁓ okay. Or like it'd be like sometimes like girls would find out that they're pregnant by doing it, and it's like, ⁓ shit. I also feel like if you know, if it's a true friend group and and Demi has that trigger. It shouldn't even be a suggestion. It shouldn't be a thing. Yeah. Yeah, which is why like later on, like l people are like Layla is like not a good friend. Like she just like does stuff to like poke the bears and like you know, she's kind of setting up people. So What happens? They all go and they pee on the stick. And so Macy pulls out a test that's negative. Michaela pulls out a positive and all the girls are freaking out. But at that point, like you think like, Okay, that's Macy. So like Macy's like kinda playing into it. Layla goes, she pulls out a negative. Demi goes and she pulls out a positive. So there's two girls in this friend group who are pregnant. And then Demi immediately starts crying. Because it's Because it's like she's like immediately in my head, like I'm thinking I'm looking at my own tests. So then it's like I'm pregnant. Yeah, and it's like probably not. And then she's like, wait, no, like you don't get these. Like you're net like you're not pregnant. And it's like, so then like Yeah. So it was a whole so as much as like I don't like to meet I am an empathetic person. Like that's a shitty situation to be in. Absolutely. So to me, like is like asking like who is it? And Jesse's like, Yeah, if someone is pregnant and they know it, they should say it and it's like, No, like that's not fair either 'cause then like you're taking the excitement away from the girl that's pregnant. Right. To make that announcement because now it's like this negative thing. So like Right. And it's like sometimes it's it might be like super early. Like they know but they're not gonna announce it yet because Right. It it's super early, like it's not time right to announce that. And so yeah, I don't know. And they're like, Who is it? Who is it? So Macy does not say anything and she's like, I'm not, I'm not like I almost feel guilty I'm pregnant right now. I'm not saying anything. And then whoever the second person's pregnancy t like they don't say anything. So I'm thinking at that point the second person doesn't know that. They might not know, right? So it's like everyone has to go redo this round of pregnancy tests, right? they all go to ⁓ their rooms after this So Demi walks away, she goes in her room, she's crying. Jesse goes in to check on her because she knows how hard this has been. Yeah. And then like Michaela and Macy are like in their room getting ready ⁓ and it finally comes that Michaela is also pregnant. Okay. And Michaela actually told Macy that she was pregnant three days before the trip. So ⁓ Michaela is sitting there crying because she feels bad and Macy's like, There's nothing you could have done, like this isn't your fault. Like you know, like this isn't like on you that you know ⁓ there's you did wrong. It comes to find out that Michaela does not know Macy's pregnant. Okay. So Michaela's like, I don't know who the second person and they weren't saying anything, so I'm for sure not gonna say shit when that was in that situation. And then finally Macy asks Michaela if she wants to know something that will make her happier, and she tells Mikaela that she's also pregnant. ⁓ okay. And so Michaela at that point it kinda like cheers them up because like they're two best friends, they're pregnant together, they're yeah, they're gonna go through it together. So it kind of brings that mood between the two of them a little bit back together. Yeah. Yeah. Jesse's in Demi's room consoling her and at that point she's saying like I don't think anyone cares about my feelings and like I like just feel really alone and like I'm just like so like tired and upset and like just frustrated And Jessie's like consoling her and like just being like, you know, it is hard and all this stuff and then finally Macy and Michaela walk in and Demi goes, Well congratulations and like, How did you guys know? And it's like we kinda just like put it together in like the fact that you guys came in here and then at that point Demi says like I feel bad because I shouldn't have made it about myself and like how exciting is it that you two can go through this together. ⁓ so they So they all kind of seemed like they told Yeah. They so they told to me that Okay it was them because they came in and they're like, you know, we realize that like if you don't know who it is, like you're gonna be second guessing if it's you and then you'll have to go take another one. Yeah. And then you're gonna be re triggered by getting a negative and so we just wanted to come here and have this one on one 'cause we're not ready to tell everyone, but like let's have this conversation. So At least Jesse and Demi know Michaela and Macy are pregnant. Okay. So yeah. What just a shitty situation all around though? Like why even Yeah. Yeah, this didn't have to be a thing at all. Yeah. ⁓ and that's And the person that started it is not even in the fucking room. Yeah. She's down the hall getting ready. She's out there still high enough. Yeah, off of some some some vag joints. the next day, but yeah, I guess so. ⁓ is the next day. I don't know, maybe she took a couple home with her. Some vagina joints. She says that even though she's fighting to keep her together because that's what the church teaches, If she's learned anything over the past few years, it's that she has to put her children first. Yeah. She says with keeping that in mind, she needs to let Dakota know that she feels at peace with the decision to not continue with this relationship. Yeah, and I know last episode you had mentioned like possibly the drama that she brought on was to delay giving Dakota an answer. Yeah, which is funny. But now that's her like this is her moving forward, like Yeah and this this is done. This is just her saying that. It doesn't show the conversation that she does have a Dakota. I don't know like if that happens off camera or if we'll see that next episode, but it seems like she's made this decision to say, I'm done. So They're walking around the market and it's her and Demi and she says that she's been waiting to pull Demi aside to talk to her about what she said about her salon and business and she thinks that this is the perfect opportunity to do that. I'm like In a public space in a French market while you're on vacation is the perfect place to address your friend. I mean like I guess, but like I would have done it at the Airbnb or something, you know? Like I mean it's for T V. So she's approaching Dominican. Yeah. So maybe because she knows how she is, she it's like ⁓ let me put her in a highest. Don't make a scene in out in public. Yeah. ⁓ well that's a good point. Okay. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. So Jessie asked Demi what actually happened on the phone call with Taylor because she's heard Taylor's version of it, but she wants to hear Demi's side. All I could think about was Taylor's version. ⁓ Taylor's TV. ⁓ Taylor's former. And then I thought about all of her albums. I'm like, good, good songs. so all Demi says is the way Taylor is portraying it is incorrect. And she never said that Jesse was bad at color. ⁓ And telling people not to go there. But she never says like what her version is. So she's never like, this is what was said and this is like the context that I took it in. Right. So for example, I'm imagining that Taylor calls, like a friend called me and was like, Hey, I'm thinking of going to Jay Z Styles to get X, Y, and Z done. And sh and what do Do you suggest them for that? And to me says, No, I don't suggest them for that because I've never done that there. But here's a girl that I know can do it. Okay. So I would tell you to go there because I know that she can. Like, you know, like that in my head, I'm like, If that was the conversation that would happen, I would understand the me side of like, no, I didn't tell her that you were bad at color, you did this. It's just I couldn't recommend you because I didn't have I didn't have that experience. But she doesn't say that or she doesn't say anything to that context. She's just like, that didn't happen. What Taylor's saying didn't happen. And then she goes, What do you think about all this? and turns it back on Jesse. And it's like, Okay, so if that didn't happen, what did happen? She's I curl everyone's hair before we go out. Like ⁓ today, like I curled everyone's hair and like I did everyone's hair before we left the house. So like she was like, I just feel like I'm being taken advantage of and I have no respect from anyone. Yeah, for sure. Like if you're yeah, if you're getting all your hair done for free. And even like then, like the CMA stuff, she's like, I Taylor, I gave you free extensions. I gave your mom free clip ins. Like I like I styled your hair. so she is like seems like to me a girls girl. And to me I feel like Jesse just gets like walked over ⁓ And as much as she like has had Demise back in the past, I feel like she's kind of like a little bit of a follower. And I'm like, I need you to have a backbone because I need you to stick up to this fucking thing. Absolutely. You need to you need to hold your own because you have you have had a successful business before mom talk. Like you were a millionaire before mom talk even started and you had this this business going for you. Like you have it. Like you just need to stick up for yourself. Like because you're you're a bad bitch. Like just like own it. Like if this you were there before for and if this all falls apart you're gonna be fine. Yeah, you're gonna be fine. Either way. So just Absolutely. So absolutely. It doesn't matter. Yeah. 'Cause you got it. Demi tells her that her intent and what she said was not shitting on her business. And Jesse immediately steps in and calls her out and says, Well, no, you are because this is my livelihood. And so Demi is like really trying to diminish what she says and like like try to like almost make less of like it's not that big of a deal, Jesse. Like the like what I said wasn't a big deal. And Jesse's like, no, like this is hurtful. Jesse in an interview says hearing Demi's explanations actually makes her feel worse and she like feels deflated. She doesn't think that Demi means her apology at all, and she has and she's blaming a lot of this stuff on a lot of other people except for taking accountability on herself. Accountability. Accountability. Take fucking accountability. Jesse says that she's gonna keep her distance moving forward. Okay, good. Good. Okay. Back at the Airbnb, the girls share the poem. So you know the the street artists that make poems on the typewriters? And people go up and like make a poem about life and the sun and bird chirping and spring, and then they put together this beautiful poem that's like okay, like I'm lost over here, but I'll I'll listen. Well, there's these artists, there's one girl that's like really known. ⁓ I think she's like in Central Park and she does them, but they're all over. And so they found this guy. guy on the street and they're like, make a poem about friendship and crossings and like, you know, like divides. And so he makes this poem and the girls share the poem ⁓ of what he made and all the girls after it's read says it sounds like a prayer that they used to say in young women's and then they all start saying it simultaneously. The prayer or the poem? The prayer. Okay. They were like you know, like our father our father in like the Catholic Church. It like almost like that, like the same cadence and like they're some of them were trying to remember it like in its full, but like it was kinda like that like church like chant almost. Yeah, yeah. Layla's face is like, ⁓ my god, ew, why are we doing like she's like She's like, why are we saying this? I'm not high enough for this. Right. Jesse says hearing it chanted like that makes her realize that it really is a cult. And Demi asks if she's ever been to the temple, and Jesse says yes, and then Demi's like, ⁓ yeah, in your first marriage. So Whitney explains that in the LDS church. ⁓ in the LDS religion, the temple is a very sacred and holy place, and you actually need to live a certain way and then go through an interview process with your bishop to be able to enter the temple. Okay. This is news to me. Like there's not a place in the Catholic Church unless like unless it's reserved for a certain level of like you have to be a cardinal or be the Pope or like there's not a exclusive place where the like church members enter into, right? Like the church is church and like there's holy grounds, but like you you're always welcome. Yeah. And so this threw me off that like you have to be like invited to the temple by the bishop. So All the girls go around and like to me is like, ⁓ like, who hasn't been? And I guess Layla and Michaela have not been through the temple. And Michaela was like, Nope. And like it sounds like she's like not even interested. Don't even want to be there. Layla says that she maybe one day. She's like, one day, like, maybe. And they're all like, Really? And she goes, Well, it's really important for Cam. So, like, if it's important for Cam to go through the temple, like I'll I'll do the steps. And Okay. It's almost like us having a Catholic wedding, like it was important for me. So like you went through the steps of having a Catholic wedding, you went through pre canna, you went through all that. Like and that was kind of her thing. Is like if it's that important to someone I care and love so much about, like I'll do that for them. I'm not necessarily and when she says that, like, ⁓ I I would do it for Cam, like to me is like Ew, like that's not right. Like you're gonna do it for him. And like she was like, What is so bad about that? And she's like in an interview, she's like, To me, it's just so judgmental, like I can't even stand. Yeah, right. Why would you support your partner? Yeah. Girl, what? It's like, ⁓ the ⁓ the massage like, you know, the male patriarchy, we gotta take it down. And it's like, no, like you still need to be a loving and supporting person. So Demi says, yeah, that still doesn't matter. So a ceiling is if you marry someone ⁓ and you don't get it broken. In the afterlife, you are sealed to them. So you spend the rest of your afterlife with that person. Okay. I thought you were gonna answer my question, now I have a few more. Yeah. ⁓ So you're s What's a ceiling? So they say the ceiling. Okay. So I'm a picturing like a house. Right. No. But then they say the seal. So it's like a picture like a ceiling, but a new seal were you watching with closed captioning. Yeah, no, it's like it's like you're like the ceiling of you and one other person. Ceiling with an ⁓ S. Yes. Yes. But when they first started talking about it, I was picturing like a ceiling. Can you use it in a sentence? How many syllables? Yeah. Okay. Okay. Now yeah. Got it. You got it. I do. 'Cause the breakthrough thing too, I was like, okay, we're breaking the ceiling. Yeah. No, you gotta break like a glass ceiling. Like that was all let's go, let's break this glass ceiling. Okay. So the girls explain that if you're married, in the eyes of the church, you're in the afterlife, you're you're sealed to this person. Okay. Okay. You can only get unsealed if someone removes their records from the church. So Miranda explains that her family had a lot of issues with Chase removing himself from the church, which then removed his records because that meant she wasn't sealed to her own children. Because apparently you have to have a male to seal the family unit. Okay. So technically in her afterlife, she wouldn't be attached to her children or have the children. She goes to heaven. And her children are not even there with her when they die. Like they They yeah. They're just out there in the ether with with him. With him. Yeah. Yeah. But they're 'cause it's not like she gave birth to them or anything. Yeah, right, right, right. And so the the girls explain that you can't have more than one husband and so like your original husband, your first husband, that's who women are stealed to. But men can have multiple wives. So you potentially could be stuck in the afterlife with your first husband and all of his All of his wives. Respectfully, as a man Hate them. They hate us. Terrible. Like when guys why when guys are like, ⁓ how do women hate men? This is the shit that they're talking about. You get to go unsealed or sealed and do whatever you want, even though this woman gave birth to your children. Yeah. I feel like that's a topic for a whole nother podcast. So I'm gonna stop myself. But yes, Jesse points out that technically right now if she were to die, she'd be stuck to her first husband and she would not be able to be with her current husband in the afterlife. I gotta disassociate real quick. ⁓ so they all get ready. They're like all leaving and Jesse says, What are we wearing tonight? Casual? This is where I need to show you. So it leaves off with her saying, What are we wearing tonight? Is it gonna be casual? And then like no so you think like, Okay, it's a casual dinner. Yeah, yeah. Okay. Let me show you what these girls and what it cuts to. Hold on. I thought she was gonna pull out the Polaroids from the The Polaroids. Yeah, you gotta figure out. All Very different definitions of casual. So at this point I'm watching the episode and Matt was like not like listening or near me, but I just look at him like, ⁓ If we ha yeah, if we have a date night and I hear casual That is not I'm throwing on joggers. Like Yeah, there's not And like you heard the lead up. What are we wearing tonight? Casual? Jeans and a T shirt. Whitney literally had a like cover over her head. Like she had like a veil, a black veil, like over her head. I don't know. I feel like Macy was wearing a fur coat. I think I think that edit there was what are we wearing tonight casual and then that was the end of that conversation. Yeah yeah more happened and then they all obviously put on whatever the fuck that was. I don't even know what you call that. That was like commercial for some perfume. Right. I don't even know. Right, right. But also coming from the girl that planned out every single one of her outfits, like you know what you're wearing. Was there a Polaroid of that outfit? I'm sure there was. How do you not put that together? You're not putting that together last minute. ⁓ man. They all jam. my gosh. So anyway, that's what they were wearing out. I had to show you guys some like this. I have I have some follow up questions post show about that. Okay. I literally am like I don't I can't even put into words these outfits. Like I just need to show you guys. People don't just own those clothes. No. No, no. I don't even think like I don't think I could get close to something like that. Like that looked like that was like costume. Like Yeah. Like when we did that like Roaring Twenties party. That was fun, yeah. Yeah, it's like a quarter. They look like a girl like a women's pop group. ⁓ That we're like, okay, we're going out to do this like organized performance. We'll have to be in the same we don't have to wear the same thing, but the design concept has to match. Yeah. Yeah. All right. So they all go out to dinner dressed in their casual outfits. Casual lace. ⁓ Casual lace. And Jesse asks Demi if she's gonna invite everyone to her Christmas party since she's been up and down with people in the group. Demi says that her and Bret have been host are hosting it together. So he is equally unhappy with Taylor as he is. So Taylor at this point can hit the road. So apparently Taylor is not invited to the Christmas party. Hit the road, Taylor. Hit the road, Jack. Don't come. ⁓ Demi asks the group. So at this point to me, for like the fi I feel like the fifteenth, umpteenth time, asked the group, Well, like what are your thoughts on Taylor? Because she did it in the group chat where no one was responding, remember? And she was like, Why am I the only one that's like saying anything? Like everyone's being quiet. Yeah, because it's you. So she's a problem. She asked the group again, like what their thoughts on Taylor are and if they think Taylor deserves to be there and if she's a good representation of mom talk. Jesse thinks that they should give Taylor another chance because she did apologize. And then Demi goes, but that wasn't an apology. ⁓ my goodness. Miranda says that she's been quiet and she doesn't know how to feel because she's still healing from her original fallout with Taylor. So some of this backlash that the girls are receiving slash that she received from Taylor's post has been a little bit triggering for her. So ⁓ this put into context like when She told her family like Miranda hasn't been saying anything. So I think Miranda's actually been trying to be a good friend by not saying anything because Right sh I think she would come out more harsh than some of the because she's already experienced this before with the swinging scandal. Yeah. Yeah. And so she is trying to figure this out on her own and she's like, I just I I'm trying to I don't want to be involved in this. That's fair. She thinks that now that like Jesse thinks that now that they all have contacts with Taylor and that this has happened once, if it happens again then they personally have a base to fall back on. So Jesse's kinda like, let's move on from this. She says sorry, but if it happens again then like we can address it at that point. But like I don't think it's a big enough situation to like make a decision like of like cutting her out slash like saying I'm not gonna be friends with you. Like yeah. You know, I'd Let's move forward, see what happens. Yeah. That's fair. Demi makes an announcement that if Taylor is in mom talk, she is out. ⁓ Demi's out? Yeah. And she's like, I can't be involved in this. Bah. Jesse's like, Are you serious? Like right now? Like, what? And then Macy says that they all have different relationships with Taylor, so she doesn't think it's fair to just kick Taylor out of the group. Yeah, for sure. She says it's also not fair to say like if Demi leaves Taylor's in, like she's like, This just doesn't make sense. Like the fact that we're all gonna like vote To be here. And Miranda goes, How many friendships do you know where you have to be voted in and out of a group? Like, this is fucking weird. Right, right. O Town Making the Band. Making the band Okay. Making the band. O Town. Ashley Parker Angel. Shout out. What's up? Sorry. Macy is saying that they all have different relationships with Taylor, so it's unfair to say that they're just gonna kick her out of the group. And Kayla then goes, So would it have been fair for me to say that if Whitney is in, then I'm out? And Demi goes, No, that's different because Whitney's life doesn't take over the group. And so she says that Whitney has been there all weekend and it's been great. And Mika like Demi says that like Whitney's been here all weekend, it's been great. And Michaela goes, For you? And she goes, if Taylor were here, it would have been great for me, but bad for you. Yeah. Meanwhile, Whitney's sitting in the middle of the sitting there. And she's like, and it's like so awkward. Yeah. Whitney in an interview says that although she agrees with Demi, ⁓ she's on thin ice with a lot of the girls, so she's just gonna shut her lips. But it's like it is really awkward, like it has been a from a Whitney perspective, a drama free weekend. Yeah. She hasn't done much. She hasn't confronted Michaela. Like she hasn't done a like so it's like I get Michaela's point. They did say an episode or two ago, Whitney and Michaela they would be civil in a group setting. Right. And like not be friends. And not be friends. So they are that's what they're doing. That's what they're doing. Up until I guess that comment. Yeah, so it's like from making it to say that, like it's like but it's just aggressive. Yeah, definitely. To me, so I Yeah, but even though like even though those two said they're gonna be civil, like ⁓ to me doesn't have that in her. No, no, No, no, no. Like Taylor doesn't have that in her Well also true. Yeah. Yeah. No Taylor So like that dynamic would it's not the s yeah. Yeah, it's it's a little different. 'Cause Taylor, like before they even gone to a fight, was making a Digs at Demi. Like he was like coming for her, like So it the conversation then evolves into Demi saying, Why are we giving Taylor these opportunities? She's the one that's in the spotlight. We go these things and people certain people will have interviews and she's one of them. Layla says some of the opportunities are because of Taylor, so we have to take that with a grain of ta salt. And Demi says, if this were a normal business, mom talk being the business, then Taylor would be out of that with what she's been doing. And Mikaela says mom talk is more than just a business. and side of Demi she's never seen before and she doesn't know what Demi is like is capable of to try to get to this top. Right. At this point, ⁓ Macy out, Well, look at you and Jesse like you weren't supporting her business. And Demi says ⁓ Demi Well, that's different because I'm not a part of her business. And she goes ⁓ Like ⁓ we're all a part of mom talk, so we all have a say. Like I don't have a say in her business. She goes, Well, you're taking like that's your best friend and you were talking shit about her business, like taking business away from her. And she goes, Well, I wasn't best friends with her at the time that I said that. That was to me it's a fascinating. Yeah, and you haven't done anything to rectify that. It's not like you're like ⁓ well since then I've Yeah steered people towards her. Yeah. Yeah, no. Like you're just a shitty person. So to me in interview says that she's so annoyed with the other girls for not standing on business, Steve. She wants them to stand on business and what is right and creating an environment that's healthy and conducive for success. And she feels like she is on an island. She should take her own advice. ⁓ To goes, This is the last thing I will say, and then Layla goes, ⁓ thank God. ⁓ Demi doesn't even skip a beat when Layla says that. And she says, Taylor tarnishes what mom talk was meant to be. And all the other girls, minus Whitney, think that Demi is taking this way too far. Yeah. Miranda's like, How many friendships do you know do you have to be voted in or out of? And this is weird. Right. Yeah. Yeah. And that's where the episode ends. That's the end, huh? That's the end.
