A 16-year-old from St. Theresa Point First Nation is facing serious charges after allegedly threatening to livestream a shooting on Canada Day. Police, alerted by a social media platform, teamed up with the RCMP to track him down — leading to his arrest at his home where they also seized four unsecured firearms. Though no additional charges are planned for the weapons, the teen remains in custody facing an uttering threats charge as the investigation continues.
