- 0:01Speaker 1: Alright, coming to you live from Castleberry, Florida. This is
- 0:05Speaker 1: the Ember Show. Your host, Ember, on the go this evening.
- 0:09Speaker 1: We're going to be in Isaiah, but.
- 0:11Speaker 2: First let's go ahead before we get into the Gospel
- 0:14Speaker 2: of Isaiah to jump into prayer.
- 0:16Speaker 1: Lord, Father that art in heaven, I come to you
- 0:18Speaker 1: in prayer to be able to have the Holy Spirit
- 0:20Speaker 1: be able to speak through this mic and go through
- 0:23Speaker 1: the listeners' ears and be able to reach their hearts
- 0:25Speaker 1: and minds and be able to apply these verses to
- 0:28Speaker 1: their lives.
- 0:29Speaker 2: In the Lord Jesus Christ's name I pray. Amen.
- 0:33Speaker 1: So I'm on the go, so bear with me. I'm
- 0:35Speaker 1: a little out of breath this evening. So there might
- 0:38Speaker 1: be some pauses. I just want to give you also
- 0:42Speaker 1: some time to get to your Bible or get on
- 0:47Speaker 1: your Bible app and read along as you hear along
- 0:50Speaker 1: the verse of the day is Isaiah chapter 41 verse 10.
- 0:57Speaker 1: I'm just looking at this beautiful moon giving you some time.
- 1:00Speaker 1: to get to Isaiah chapter 41. You don't have to.
- 1:04Speaker 1: You can just hear along, but I'm just looking at
- 1:06Speaker 1: this moon and I'm in awe. And as I've been walking,
- 1:09Speaker 1: I've just been just so grateful for life in general.
- 1:15Speaker 1: I might not have the finances. I might not have
- 1:18Speaker 1: the material things, but I.
- 1:20Speaker 2: Have this peace. I have this joy that the world
- 1:23Speaker 2: can never give me. I can never have enough toys.
- 1:26Speaker 2: I can never have enough property. I could never have Enough.
- 1:32Speaker 1: It'll give.
- 1:32Speaker 2: Me that temporary happiness... But it also comes with a price...
- 1:40Speaker 2: And there's also a price to be able to... To obtain.
- 1:43Speaker 1: This ability to have.
- 1:46Speaker 2: The capacity... To even....
- 1:51Speaker 1: Obtain this joy as well... It's a sacrifice... We all
- 1:55Speaker 1: have to make sacrifices... Whether it's our time... Our efforts...
- 1:59Speaker 1: Our energy... our money, and there's always risk and reward, right?
- 2:03Speaker 1: I've given you enough time. Let's get to Isaiah chapter 41,
- 2:06Speaker 1: verse 10, and we'll probably dig deeper into verse 11
- 2:11Speaker 1: and 12 as well.
- 2:12Speaker 2: But let's jump into it.
- 2:14Speaker 1: And forgive me for the background noise.
- 2:16Speaker 2: If you hear some cars, I am close to the
- 2:19Speaker 2: main road.
- 2:21Speaker 1: Isaiah chapter 41, verse 10 states, I am with you,
- 2:25Speaker 1: so do not be afraid. I am your God, so
- 2:29Speaker 1: do not be upset. I will make you strong and
- 2:33Speaker 1: I will help you. My powerful right hand will keep
- 2:38Speaker 1: you safe. Why does Isaiah.
- 2:45Speaker 2: Say this?
- 2:48Speaker 1: Because he experienced God's protection, God's love. There's so many
- 2:57Speaker 1: different narratives that we can kind of go off of this.
- 3:03Speaker 2: How powerful God can be once he has his hand
- 3:07Speaker 2: on your life.
- 3:08Speaker 1: It takes a lot of trust. It takes a lot
- 3:11Speaker 1: of faith. It takes losing people. Whether they're friends, romantic, whatever.
- 3:18Speaker 1: That sometimes to follow Jesus, you will see Who really
- 3:27Speaker 1: genuinely cares about you. And your beliefs. They might have
- 3:32Speaker 1: the same beliefs. But they might not follow Christ. Stay
- 3:35Speaker 1: with me now. Stay with me now.
- 3:40Speaker 2: I am with you.
- 3:41Speaker 1: Is how the verse starts. So do not be afraid.
- 3:44Speaker 1: How many times do we feel. Nervous.
- 3:48Speaker 2: Overwhelmed.
- 3:49Speaker 3: Overworked.
- 3:52Speaker 2: And we don't lean on. Oh wow. We got the
- 3:55Speaker 2: Holy Spirit with us. Right here.
- 3:59Speaker 3: It's not only a healer, but a guider, a gift.
- 4:04Speaker 3: But to tap.
- 4:05Speaker 1: Into this, you have to replace the fear with faith.
- 4:13Speaker 1: And how do you do that? Through trials and tribulations,
- 4:19Speaker 1: through times where you need to kind of reflect how
- 4:25Speaker 1: far you have come No matter where you're at with
- 4:31Speaker 1: your walk with God, by having that relationship with Jesus
- 4:37Speaker 1: and allowing the Holy Spirit to work through you, it
- 4:40Speaker 1: does not matter how long. It matters what you're doing
- 4:47Speaker 1: right now. How are you connecting with God? Whether it's
- 4:53Speaker 1: through prayer, whether it's through praise, whether it's through reading
- 4:58Speaker 1: the Bible, meditating on the word as well as something
- 5:03Speaker 1: that I need to practice more.
- 5:05Speaker 2: I'm not sitting... Ooh, excuse me.
- 5:08Speaker 1: I'm not sitting here, obviously, in this episode I'm actually walking,
- 5:13Speaker 1: but I'm not claiming to be a saint.
- 5:18Speaker 2: I never will be. Because the way that it all
- 5:27Speaker 2: really works.
- 5:29Speaker 1: Is that I'm going to fall short. And I need
- 5:33Speaker 1: a savior. As I look at this beautiful moon. And
- 5:38Speaker 1: all these cars going by with places to go.
- 5:40Speaker 2: They're in a hurry.
- 5:42Speaker 1: I've learned to slow down. And realize that the spirit
- 5:50Speaker 1: is working on me. So there's going to be times
- 5:55Speaker 1: where I'm feeling uncomfortable. Because things are being taken out
- 5:59Speaker 1: of me that I've clinged to. Now be careful what
- 6:06Speaker 1: you pray for, what you ask for, for God to
- 6:09Speaker 1: do in your body. I'm not talking about your finances,
- 6:13Speaker 1: your material things, your relationships.
- 6:15Speaker 2: I'm talking about you.
- 6:17Speaker 1: Because when you really start tapping into that Holy Spirit
- 6:21Speaker 1: and you really ask the Lord to fix you, Be
- 6:27Speaker 1: prepared for what's to come afterwards. The aftermath of that.
- 6:32Speaker 1: Being uncomfortable. You have to get comfortable with it. Over time, repeating,
- 6:43Speaker 1: because we are creatures of habit.
- 6:46Speaker 2: That's where.
- 6:49Speaker 1: My addiction to alcohol and drugs.
- 6:54Speaker 2: In my past life.
- 6:58Speaker 3: See, I say past life because I wasn't living right.
- 7:01Speaker 2: Now I am.
- 7:02Speaker 1: Does that mean that I'm perfect and I don't sin? No,
- 7:05Speaker 1: I sin every day. But I do not lean on
- 7:11Speaker 1: my sin like I used to. I lean on Jesus Christ.
- 7:15Speaker 1: I lean on the Holy Spirit to be able to
- 7:17Speaker 1: make me right and be willing to be obedient to
- 7:24Speaker 1: what the Word says. And allowing the Holy Spirit to
- 7:28Speaker 1: be able to speak through this mic and go through
- 7:30Speaker 1: your ears and reach your hearts and your minds and
- 7:32Speaker 1: be able to apply these verses to your life.
- 7:35Speaker 2: How can I help?
- 7:37Speaker 1: I'm going to lead you to the one that helped me.
- 7:43Speaker 2: It's not my voice. It's not how I word things.
- 7:48Speaker 2: It is the Spirit of God that saved me.
- 7:53Speaker 1: So as we go into Isaiah chapter 41... Verse 11,
- 7:56Speaker 1: I want you to keep this in open mind because
- 8:01Speaker 1: this is something that you need to listen to, not
- 8:03Speaker 1: just hear me. Listen to this. Everyone who has been
- 8:07Speaker 1: angry with you will now become completely ashamed.
- 8:14Speaker 2: Those who have attacked you will disappear and die. Let
- 8:21Speaker 2: me repeat that. Somebody needs to hear this twice.
- 8:27Speaker 1: Isaiah chapter 41 verse 11 states, Listen to this.
- 8:31Speaker 2: Listen. Don't just hear me.
- 8:34Speaker 1: Everyone who has been angry with you will now become
- 8:40Speaker 1: completely ashamed.
- 8:42Speaker 2: Why does it say that?
- 8:43Speaker 1: Because they're going to see how the Holy Spirit has
- 8:48Speaker 1: transformed you. That's not going to be something that people
- 8:53Speaker 1: are going to necessarily clap you're not going to get
- 8:56Speaker 1: clapped for for following jesus you're not going to get
- 9:02Speaker 1: a parade here on this earth if anything you're gonna
- 9:06Speaker 1: you're gonna get more than the opposite you're gonna get
- 9:10Speaker 1: criticized your faith will be tested as well.
- 9:15Speaker 2: As i go deeper i want you to listen to.
- 9:17Speaker 4: This Those who have attacked you will disappear and die.
- 9:31Speaker 4: That doesn't mean that they'll necessarily disappear and die.
- 9:34Speaker 2: What it does mean is that they will leave your life.
- 9:37Speaker 1: They will not have a tangle on anything that you do.
- 9:47Speaker 1: So I'm looking at this moon. It's so beautiful.
- 9:49Speaker 3: So beautiful.
- 9:58Speaker 2: In the spirit of God. all of us can obtain it.
- 10:03Speaker 2: But it is a choice. We all have the power.
- 10:08Speaker 1: To let somebody else have power over us.
- 10:11Speaker 2: Ooh, let me preach. Let me preach for a minute.
- 10:19Speaker 1: When you connect to the Holy Spirit, the other spirits,
- 10:24Speaker 1: including the ones that do not approve of you, will
- 10:29Speaker 1: have to leave you. You have something that is undivined.
- 10:37Speaker 1: It's not just, oh, I'm highly blessed and favored.
- 10:40Speaker 2: No, you're protected. And that's because you continue to connect with.
- 10:47Speaker 1: A source that is higher than yourself. Understanding that.
- 10:55Speaker 1: Not everybody has their best interest at heart.
- 10:59Speaker 2: For themselves even. How can they have the best interest...
- 11:02Speaker 2: At heart for you? You gotta be very careful. You
- 11:08Speaker 2: gotta be very careful. How you... Convert these verses to
- 11:16Speaker 2: your lives. Because we also need to keep in mind.
- 11:19Speaker 1: That this was wrote. In a different time. That's why
- 11:23Speaker 1: I like to get the easy. Reading version. It's not
- 11:26Speaker 1: that I can't completely read.
- 11:28Speaker 2: But it's just.
- 11:29Speaker 1: It really breaks it down. I don't have to read
- 11:32Speaker 1: the same context.
- 11:35Speaker 2: When it was written.
- 11:36Speaker 3: To get it. And I believe a lot of people.
- 11:42Speaker 3: Get into that headspace.
- 11:44Speaker 1: Right.
- 11:45Speaker 2: And think that. Oh. Oh.
- 11:48Speaker 1: I have to be religious to have God in my life.
- 11:55Speaker 1: I have to go to church. No, you get to
- 11:59Speaker 1: go to church. To spiritually be cleansed by praising God
- 12:07Speaker 1: while listening to those that eyewitnessed Jesus Christ himself. Not
- 12:13Speaker 1: talking about the pastor. Talking about the message. talking about
- 12:19Speaker 1: the mission, all you have to do is not be
- 12:25Speaker 1: ashamed of Jesus Christ and having that relationship with him
- 12:31Speaker 1: and sharing your story.
- 12:35Speaker 2: You don't have to share necessarily just.
- 12:37Speaker 3: About what.
- 12:42Speaker 2: Jesus is all about.
- 12:45Speaker 1: Share with people what Jesus has done to your life.
- 12:49Speaker 1: And if he has not done nothing to your life,
- 12:52Speaker 1: you must ask yourself this. What have you done for
- 12:58Speaker 1: God lately?
- 13:00Speaker 2: Have you asked God how he's doing?
- 13:04Speaker 1: There's so many different things that I could say right
- 13:06Speaker 1: now that are going to maybe convict you. But I
- 13:09Speaker 1: want to lead you in the right direction. Isaiah Chapter
- 13:17Speaker 1: 41 verse 10 is great.
- 13:20Speaker 2: Reading the Bible is great.
- 13:24Speaker 1: But studying the Bible and reading the Bible is not
- 13:28Speaker 1: alone going to be able to save you.
- 13:30Speaker 2: Going to church every Sunday is not going to save you.
- 13:34Speaker 3: Praising Jesus just on Sunday is not going to save you.
- 13:39Speaker 1: But praying to Him daily and being honest Watch what
- 13:48Speaker 1: he can do. Don't try to be like the religious leaders,
- 13:53Speaker 1: like Jesus came down as the flesh of God to
- 13:58Speaker 1: tell you and to tell the religious leaders how to
- 14:03Speaker 1: really live, how to really pray, how to really have compassion.
- 14:10Speaker 1: And he came to serve. He didn't come to be glorified.
- 14:17Speaker 1: came to help people let that sink in there is
- 14:22Speaker 1: a reward when you have the ability to help others
- 14:27Speaker 1: mentally physically financially spiritually we can keep going down the
- 14:31Speaker 1: list but I want to leave it at this I
- 14:34Speaker 1: got 20 seconds the most important thing that you could
- 14:37Speaker 1: really take from this episode is having that relationship with
- 14:40Speaker 1: Jesus Christ everything else is secondary I'm not saying that
- 14:44Speaker 1: the Bible isn't A lovely book.
- 14:49Speaker 2: I'm not saying that praise. I love. That's one of
- 14:51Speaker 2: my favorite parts of church. Is praising. But I know.
- 14:55Speaker 2: At the end of the day. Me going to church.
- 14:59Speaker 2: On a regular basis.
