- 0:03Speaker 1: Welcome to the house. We're so glad you joined us today.
- 0:07Speaker 1: Choosing to tune in to dis serment was not by accident.
- 0:11Speaker 1: And I believe God has a word.
- 0:13Speaker 2: Just for you.
- 0:14Speaker 3: That's right.
- 0:15Speaker 4: God is always using the people of this house to
- 0:19Speaker 4: speak his word. So, whether you're watching from across the
- 0:22Speaker 4: street or maybe you are across the world, if you
- 0:25Speaker 4: are not just a viewer, you are our family.
- 0:29Speaker 1: And we believe that worship doesn't have walls, and experiencing
- 0:33Speaker 1: the goodness of God's spirit doesn't always require a commute.
- 0:38Speaker 4: So are you ready to join us as we fellowship
- 0:42Speaker 4: and unite in spirit and in truth. I want your
- 0:45Speaker 4: hearts to be open because we are going to encounter
- 0:49Speaker 4: God together.
- 0:51Speaker 1: Heymen, we see you, we love you, and we believe
- 0:55Speaker 1: this word is going to change your life.
- 1:01Speaker 2: Jump up to your feet. We're going to the Word
- 1:03Speaker 2: of God, the Gospel of Saint John, chapter twenty, verse
- 1:06Speaker 2: twenty five to twenty eight. There you will find my
- 1:12Speaker 2: assignment for this morning. The Texas brief and simple, but
- 1:20Speaker 2: the message behind it is profound and prolific. It comes
- 1:27Speaker 2: at a moment in history that Jesus has gone to
- 1:33Speaker 2: the cross. Jerusalem is in total chaos and confusion. The
- 1:42Speaker 2: Romans are trying to manage it. The Temple is trying
- 1:47Speaker 2: to diminish it. The Disciples are trying to dodge it.
- 1:54Speaker 2: Because their leader is gone, or so they thought, a
- 2:04Speaker 2: lot of things that look gone on Friday resurrect on
- 2:13Speaker 2: Sunday morning. The devil will try to talk to you
- 2:15Speaker 2: into thinking it's over. And this is somebody that the enemy,
- 2:20Speaker 2: in some area of your life has convinced you that
- 2:23Speaker 2: it's over. But it's not over. Just because it's hard
- 2:28Speaker 2: doesn't mean it's not over. Just because it's difficult doesn't
- 2:32Speaker 2: mean it's not over. One of the disciples in particular,
- 2:36Speaker 2: had a hard time with it, and I'm going to
- 2:38Speaker 2: focus on him today. The other disciples therefore said, unto him,
- 2:42Speaker 2: we have seen the Lord. But he said, unto them,
- 2:46Speaker 2: except I shall see in his hands the print of
- 2:51Speaker 2: the nails, and put my finger into the print of
- 2:56Speaker 2: the nails, and thrust my hand into a side. I
- 3:01Speaker 2: will not believe repeat those last words. I will not believe.
- 3:08Speaker 2: That is a strong statement coming from a person who
- 3:12Speaker 2: has given their life over to the Lord. Fully, I
- 3:15Speaker 2: don't mean just gotten a conversion core card and going
- 3:20Speaker 2: on about their life. These people dropped their jobs, walked
- 3:23Speaker 2: away from their families, did everything to walk with Jesus.
- 3:26Speaker 2: I'm going to explain a little bit why their dedication
- 3:29Speaker 2: was so intense and so powerful, and what their expectation was,
- 3:34Speaker 2: because sometimes we expect one thing from God and God
- 3:37Speaker 2: does something else. God didn't always answer in the way
- 3:41Speaker 2: that you think he should answer, and at least you
- 3:44Speaker 2: with questions in your mind. If I'm talking to you,
- 3:47Speaker 2: say man, and after eight days again, his notice, how
- 3:53Speaker 2: many days there was somebody say eight days? After eight
- 3:57Speaker 2: days again, his disciples were within, and Thomas with them.
- 4:02Speaker 2: He wasn't with them before, he wasn't with him. Then
- 4:06Speaker 2: came Jesus, the door being shut, and stood in the
- 4:15Speaker 2: midst and said, peace, be unto you. Then said he
- 4:21Speaker 2: to Thomas, reach hither thy finger and behold my hands.
- 4:29Speaker 2: And reach hither thy hand and thrust it into my side.
- 4:34Speaker 2: And be not faithless, Be not faithless, but believing. And
- 4:43Speaker 2: Thomas answered and said, unto him, my Lord and my God,
- 4:53Speaker 2: this is restoration at his finest. Remained standing for a moment.
- 4:58Speaker 2: I want to pray with you. But my subject this morning,
- 5:00Speaker 2: it's the pain of believing. The pain of believing. We
- 5:12Speaker 2: know about the power of believing, but nobody prepares you
- 5:17Speaker 2: for the the pain, the difficulty, the struggle, the pain
- 5:28Speaker 2: of believing, the misunderstanding that comes. The pastor Torre has
- 5:33Speaker 2: talked to you a little bit about believing, and he's
- 5:35Speaker 2: going on to talk to you about knowing. But I
- 5:40Speaker 2: want to digress for a moment and talk just a
- 5:42Speaker 2: moment about the pain of believing. Because while others rush
- 5:47Speaker 2: in to believing and go on to knowing, there are
- 5:51Speaker 2: stragglers that are left behind because of how much it
- 5:55Speaker 2: costs them to believe in the midst of the pain
- 6:02Speaker 2: that they went through. And it is easy to judge
- 6:05Speaker 2: other people for their pain when you haven't gone through
- 6:09Speaker 2: what they've gone through. It's easy to quote scriptures and
- 6:13Speaker 2: tell them what they ought to do and how they
- 6:15Speaker 2: ought to handle it. Until it's your child laying in
- 6:19Speaker 2: a cast cout up punt, until it's until your house
- 6:22Speaker 2: has been foreclosed on, until you've been snatched out of
- 6:26Speaker 2: a car, you should kind of be quiet sometime. Yeah,
- 6:32Speaker 2: And when you see me crying, just hand me a handkerchief.
- 6:35Speaker 2: Maybe you don't have a word for me, just hand
- 6:38Speaker 2: me a handkerchief and keep your mouth shut, because I
- 6:41Speaker 2: may be going through the pain of believing. Father God,
- 6:49Speaker 2: in the name of Jesus, I stretched my hands, my heart,
- 6:52Speaker 2: my spirit, told my bones, my toes, my core, puckles,
- 6:57Speaker 2: my blood, my hemoglobe, and every thing that I have
- 7:01Speaker 2: I yielded over to you. Come into this place and
- 7:05Speaker 2: be made manifest and show the devil who's boss. Throw
- 7:10Speaker 2: your weight around this room. Reach into somebody's chest and
- 7:14Speaker 2: do surgery. Reach into somebody's heart and give relief. Reach
- 7:19Speaker 2: into somebody's mind and fix their mind in such a
- 7:23Speaker 2: way that they can go from faith to faith and
- 7:26Speaker 2: from glory to glory. And we're not afraid to give
- 7:29Speaker 2: you the praise in advance. We're not afraid to thank
- 7:33Speaker 2: you for it at advance. We believe you're going to
- 7:36Speaker 2: have your way. Great God, that you are have your
- 7:39Speaker 2: way in this place. In the name of Jesus. Somebody
- 7:43Speaker 2: with the boys that you use when you hollering at
- 7:46Speaker 2: your kids, shout a man, you may be seated. God,
- 7:53Speaker 2: bless your children. Jesus. I was gonna make a banana pudding,
- 8:03Speaker 2: but because Pastor Torrey put us un a fast, he
- 8:13Speaker 2: didn't say how long it would be yeah, Yeah, I'm
- 8:18Speaker 2: teasing you. I'm teasing you. Yeah, just a couple of days,
- 8:26Speaker 2: come back in a couple of days. I looked at
- 8:30Speaker 2: doctor Jill and started laughing. Thought about all the times
- 8:33Speaker 2: we've been sitting down there fellowship and around the table,
- 8:36Speaker 2: eating peach cobbler and banana pudding and all that. But
- 8:40Speaker 2: that's the past forgetting those things which are behind us,
- 8:43Speaker 2: and reaching to those things which are before. We pressed
- 8:46Speaker 2: for the mark of the prize of the high calling
- 8:49Speaker 2: of God in Christ. You I ain't bother nobody this morning.
- 8:58Speaker 2: There's an argument to be made about Thomas. It is
- 9:02Speaker 2: only in the last few centuries that he has been
- 9:05Speaker 2: nicknamed doubting Thomas. The early Church did not trivialize his
- 9:10Speaker 2: experience down to a nickname. There was a spirit of
- 9:16Speaker 2: Thomas that we need to contextualize in the text, and
- 9:21Speaker 2: we can only do that if we understand the times.
- 9:25Speaker 2: The times that they were living in were times that
- 9:28Speaker 2: are almost mirrored to the times we are living in today.
- 9:34Speaker 2: They are controlled by a sovereign nation that has come
- 9:38Speaker 2: into their country and taken complete control. They are at home,
- 9:44Speaker 2: but they're not at home. The Romans rule with an
- 9:47Speaker 2: iron hand, they were a sovereign kingdom, generally taking over
- 9:53Speaker 2: by dominance, taking whatever they wanted, doing whatever they wanted
- 9:57Speaker 2: to do. They weren't the first ones by any stretch
- 10:00Speaker 2: of the imagination the way of the world. If you
- 10:02Speaker 2: study the way of the world, only the strong survives,
- 10:08Speaker 2: and people will take a moment of a vulnerability or
- 10:11Speaker 2: moment of weakness not only to attack you, but to
- 10:14Speaker 2: take over your whole country. If you're not careful, you
- 10:18Speaker 2: were just one step away. Because country survive off of
- 10:21Speaker 2: ideas like democracy. It's just an idea, it's just a thought.
- 10:27Speaker 2: And if you don't support it, and you get a
- 10:29Speaker 2: rise up of people who think their voice is doesn't matter,
- 10:32Speaker 2: and their vote doesn't matter, and their counsel doesn't matter,
- 10:35Speaker 2: nobody says anything about it, it is easy to take over.
- 10:40Speaker 2: If you read about World War One, you read about
- 10:42Speaker 2: what Hitler did, you see how he gradually, in stages,
- 10:46Speaker 2: took them deeper and deeper till they ended up in oswitch.
- 10:53Speaker 2: And I know it's hard for you to imagine, but
- 10:54Speaker 2: it's not as hard as it used to be. As
- 10:57Speaker 2: we turn on our TV sets and we see people
- 11:00Speaker 2: snatched out of cars and woke up at four o'clock
- 11:03Speaker 2: in the morning and neked babies and pregnant women drug
- 11:07Speaker 2: out of cars. It's not easy. It doesn't take long
- 11:10Speaker 2: for power to get out of control. And besides, in
- 11:18Speaker 2: order for Rome to be the empower that it was,
- 11:21Speaker 2: it became an empower and not just a great country
- 11:24Speaker 2: by its ability to come in and take over other
- 11:27Speaker 2: geographical areas. And the more areas they took over, the
- 11:31Speaker 2: stronger they became, the more taxes they took in, the
- 11:35Speaker 2: more money they made, the more influence they had, the
- 11:39Speaker 2: more they were revered. But once they took over those countries,
- 11:44Speaker 2: they had to manage those countries to make sure that
- 11:47Speaker 2: those countries were submissive to their will. The same thing
- 11:53Speaker 2: happened with Senegal. Senagal has been systematically closing French military
- 11:59Speaker 2: sites and plans to complete the withdrawal of all French
- 12:03Speaker 2: forces by the late twenty twenty five. That's happening right now.
- 12:07Speaker 2: You don't feel it because it's not having any in
- 12:09Speaker 2: your house. You don't feel things that are going on
- 12:12Speaker 2: in other cities until it happens to you, Until they
- 12:15Speaker 2: drag your daughter out of the car pregnant. You will
- 12:18Speaker 2: keep on singing and clapping and going about your business
- 12:21Speaker 2: and be totally blind to the turmoil that goes on
- 12:26Speaker 2: when one person, or one group, or one class, or
- 12:30Speaker 2: one creed of people any kind take over another person.
- 12:34Speaker 2: The other persons become subjective to their own malicious will
- 12:40Speaker 2: and purpose. They become submissive is a better word, to
- 12:43Speaker 2: their own will and purpose of the perpetrator who is
- 12:47Speaker 2: set out to destroy them. And you don't feel it
- 12:50Speaker 2: until it's you. And it's not just the abuse. Alan
- 12:55Speaker 2: It is the feeling of being home and not at home.
- 13:03Speaker 2: It is the feeling of laying in your bed and
- 13:05Speaker 2: wondering will you make it through the night. It is
- 13:09Speaker 2: the feeling of now. When I grabbed my wallet, I
- 13:12Speaker 2: grabbed my passport. Yeah, I don't go too far without
- 13:21Speaker 2: it anymore. I just keep it with me, just in
- 13:24Speaker 2: case some lone ranger, some overdoor, some perpetrator, some obsessive
- 13:30Speaker 2: person comes along and tries to make a lesson out
- 13:34Speaker 2: of me. I know that I am not an illegal immigrant.
- 13:38Speaker 2: I know that I'm not a murderer. I know that
- 13:40Speaker 2: I'm not a killing But I don't know what you
- 13:43Speaker 2: think of me. And so for fear of what you think,
- 13:46Speaker 2: of me. I have to walk with a certain kind
- 13:49Speaker 2: of fear that I didn't have to walk into five
- 13:52Speaker 2: years ago. Senacol has completely disrupted. French Nager has also
- 14:01Speaker 2: disrupted Trance Francis military presidence has ended. Their diplomatic ties
- 14:06Speaker 2: were reduced with French forces departing the country. The French
- 14:11Speaker 2: people were marching in the streets just a couple of
- 14:14Speaker 2: months ago because they were losing power over all of
- 14:18Speaker 2: the colonies that they had made in Africa and elsewhere.
- 14:22Speaker 2: Or you follow what I'm saying. America was originally meant
- 14:25Speaker 2: to be under the rule of Greatness and under the
- 14:28Speaker 2: control of the UK. That's why we celebrated July the force.
- 14:32Speaker 2: That's the moment that we declared our independence, and they're
- 14:36Speaker 2: getting ready to celebrate two hundred and fifty years of
- 14:40Speaker 2: separating ourselves from them controlling us. Or we would have
- 14:44Speaker 2: been subjugated and controlled by the ethics of Parliament in
- 14:49Speaker 2: the UK and still had to function and still had
- 14:53Speaker 2: to deal with it, but we would have had to
- 14:55Speaker 2: deal with it as second class citizens. And then some
- 15:00Speaker 2: about being a second class citizen. People have a way
- 15:03Speaker 2: of making you know that you're second class. They treat
- 15:07Speaker 2: you with an air of second class. There's a certain way,
- 15:10Speaker 2: a little side eyed way that they look at you.
- 15:14Speaker 2: The power power corrupts, but total power totally corrupts. And
- 15:19Speaker 2: if you can tell that power when it gets out
- 15:22Speaker 2: of control, will be little you and demean you. And
- 15:25Speaker 2: it's not just one group of people, it's anybody that
- 15:28Speaker 2: gets too much control over you. You got to be careful
- 15:32Speaker 2: about who you let have control over you. You got
- 15:36Speaker 2: to be careful about who you married. You're not going
- 15:42Speaker 2: to talk to me. You got to be careful about
- 15:44Speaker 2: where you go to work. You can be subjugated to
- 15:49Speaker 2: submissiveness in your own house, and little by little they're
- 15:52Speaker 2: telling you what to wear and don't wear those shoes
- 15:55Speaker 2: with that, don't do this, and don't go over there,
- 15:57Speaker 2: and don't take the car, and little by little power
- 16:00Speaker 2: tunny road until you have no control or say so
- 16:04Speaker 2: over yourself. And you have to do a revolution in
- 16:08Speaker 2: your own living room to get back control of what
- 16:12Speaker 2: you eat and where you drive and where you live.
- 16:15Speaker 2: You understand what I'm saying. I want you to see
- 16:17Speaker 2: the spirit of the times that they lived in. I
- 16:20Speaker 2: want you to understand that they were besieged by the
- 16:24Speaker 2: Roman empower, and not just Jerusalem, but all across the world.
- 16:29Speaker 2: Rome had stretched out its arms and was controlling more
- 16:32Speaker 2: and more geographical locations, and the whole city, and the
- 16:37Speaker 2: whole nation of Israel, and the city of Jerusalem was besieged.
- 16:42Speaker 2: They had leaders that were not like them, that didn't
- 16:45Speaker 2: share their background, that didn't share the things that they
- 16:48Speaker 2: thought about. They had language issues, they had cruel beatings
- 16:53Speaker 2: and muggings and horrible things happening to them, and they
- 16:57Speaker 2: had to become used to had to become used to abuse.
- 17:06Speaker 2: I know all of you tell me what you would
- 17:08Speaker 2: do if you were born in the enslavery time, and
- 17:11Speaker 2: what you would do. I hear all the stuff you said.
- 17:14Speaker 2: But if you see enough people hanging from trees, and
- 17:17Speaker 2: enough people be headed, and enough people beaten to death,
- 17:20Speaker 2: you're not quite as bad as you think you are.
- 17:24Speaker 2: You're not quite as tough as you think you are.
- 17:27Speaker 2: Ask any woman in here that's been a victim of
- 17:30Speaker 2: domestic violence. Sometimes it's not as easy to get away
- 17:34Speaker 2: from power out of control. As the neighbor's next door said,
- 17:38Speaker 2: if that was me, I would do such and such
- 17:41Speaker 2: a thing. But she has to consider her kids, her livelihood,
- 17:45Speaker 2: her future, where she's gonna move, where she's gonna live.
- 17:48Speaker 2: Power can be a dangerous thing. It can be a
- 17:52Speaker 2: disruptive thing. It can be a painful thing. That's why
- 17:56Speaker 2: I'm glad I'm not a child anymore. I didn't like
- 17:59Speaker 2: being a child because you don't have much control. As
- 18:01Speaker 2: a child, I had to eat what they ordered, I
- 18:04Speaker 2: had to wear what they laid out, I had to
- 18:06Speaker 2: do what they said. When I grew up, I was
- 18:09Speaker 2: so glad to be able to dress myself. I dressed
- 18:11Speaker 2: myself this morning. I put on what I like, I
- 18:15Speaker 2: wear what I like to wear. I go where I
- 18:18Speaker 2: want to go. I do what I want to do
- 18:20Speaker 2: and much. I didn't have a bad childhood, but I
- 18:23Speaker 2: don't want to go back to it. I enjoy the
- 18:26Speaker 2: freedom of being able to make my own choices. How
- 18:30Speaker 2: many people in here enjoy the freedom of making your
- 18:33Speaker 2: own choices. I don't care what you got on, blue
- 18:38Speaker 2: jeans and a T shirt or rag around your head.
- 18:41Speaker 2: I don't care what you got on. What you put on,
- 18:44Speaker 2: what you wanted to wear, and you did it. There
- 18:46Speaker 2: was nobody controlling you, telling you what to do and
- 18:49Speaker 2: where to sit and where to go. And when to
- 18:52Speaker 2: leave and how to move. It's important if you're going
- 18:55Speaker 2: to have dignity to have a degree of control. If
- 18:59Speaker 2: you're going to have self esteem, you have to have
- 19:01Speaker 2: a degree of control. I don't want control of the world,
- 19:05Speaker 2: but over my decisions and my choice choices in my house.
- 19:09Speaker 2: You don't get to come in and paint my house
- 19:11Speaker 2: because you don't like the color of my living room.
- 19:15Speaker 2: I painted in that color. I don't care if I've
- 19:18Speaker 2: made it strife, but it's my living room. If I
- 19:20Speaker 2: can live there, you can visit there. Keep your mouth
- 19:23Speaker 2: out of my business. Come on, talk to me, somebody.
- 19:26Speaker 2: Keep your mouth. Keep your mouth, your mouth m o
- 19:31Speaker 2: ut out of my business. You paint your house with
- 19:36Speaker 2: polka dots, and I won't say nothing about it. I
- 19:39Speaker 2: might not stay long, but I won't say nothing about it.
- 19:44Speaker 2: But that was not the circumstance for the Jews, That
- 19:47Speaker 2: was not the circumstance for Jerusalem. That was under circumstance
- 19:51Speaker 2: for issues. So when John the Baptist came along and
- 19:55Speaker 2: say repent for the Kingdom of Heaven, that is at hand,
- 20:00Speaker 2: first thing to come across their mind was liberation from
- 20:06Speaker 2: the abuse and the turmoil that they were under. The
- 20:09Speaker 2: first thing to come to their mind was being free
- 20:12Speaker 2: from Caesar and his control and his dominance. The first
- 20:17Speaker 2: thing that came to their mind. The dominance had become
- 20:19Speaker 2: so strong that he had even infiltrated their religion. That's
- 20:23Speaker 2: why the temple is called Herod's temple. And Herod wasn't
- 20:27Speaker 2: even fully a Jew, and yet he has taken over
- 20:30Speaker 2: the temple, and he's taken taxes and making money from
- 20:34Speaker 2: the church people to support taxes in the government. And
- 20:38Speaker 2: that's why Jesus kicked over the tables. It was not
- 20:41Speaker 2: because they were frying chicken and selling chocolate bars at
- 20:45Speaker 2: the door. It was because the government had come in
- 20:49Speaker 2: and taken control over their religious freedom and their faith.
- 20:53Speaker 2: Power gradually eats you up like cancer. It don't start
- 20:57Speaker 2: with vic stuff. It starts with It starts with little things.
- 21:02Speaker 2: Where you're going, what time you're going to be back.
- 21:04Speaker 2: I thought you'd be back at nine o'clock. It's nine fifteen.
- 21:07Speaker 2: Tell me where you've been. I don't like your hair
- 21:10Speaker 2: cut like that. Little by little it just escalates. It
- 21:13Speaker 2: don't start out with physical abuse and punching you in
- 21:16Speaker 2: the mouth. It starts out with shoving you just a
- 21:19Speaker 2: little bit. It starts out with insults and verbal attacks,
- 21:22Speaker 2: and little by little, I want to give you some
- 21:24Speaker 2: signs this morning so that you can begin understand when
- 21:28Speaker 2: you're being besieged, when you're being attacked, when you're being overridden.
- 21:33Speaker 2: So when John the Baptist came along, it was important
- 21:37Speaker 2: because John the bout this was one of the few
- 21:40Speaker 2: remnants left of their faith. They had already lost their
- 21:44Speaker 2: kings and they were about to lose the lineage of
- 21:47Speaker 2: their priesthood. And when Elizabeth God used an old woman
- 21:52Speaker 2: to have a baby because he thought it was so
- 21:54Speaker 2: important that they have a lineage to continue that when
- 21:58Speaker 2: he was born, it had been a whole lot to them.
- 22:00Speaker 2: Can I take my time this morning, because they were
- 22:03Speaker 2: trying to hold on to their preach toood. But the
- 22:06Speaker 2: problem was he was not like his father. Okay, and
- 22:11Speaker 2: we're living in a time that we cannot just be
- 22:13Speaker 2: like our fathers. We can't just have a Zachariah annointing.
- 22:17Speaker 2: That's why the Bible his name should be called John,
- 22:21Speaker 2: because none of his candred have been called by that name.
- 22:24Speaker 2: To the young people, I want you to hear me
- 22:26Speaker 2: for a minute. Well, all the Sunday I got. Something
- 22:29Speaker 2: came over me so strong I almost interrupted the service.
- 22:33Speaker 2: You're gonna have to do more than we did. You're
- 22:36Speaker 2: gonna have to withstand more than we would stand. The
- 22:39Speaker 2: situation is different, the times are different, the demons are different,
- 22:44Speaker 2: the level of attack is different, the financial components are different,
- 22:48Speaker 2: the economics are different, the emotions are different. You weren't
- 22:53Speaker 2: shaped out of the same play we were shaped out of.
- 22:56Speaker 2: You have a different claim. You have certain comforts that
- 23:00Speaker 2: you're accustomed to, and you're not used to being up
- 23:02Speaker 2: under attack, and therefore you are emotionally fragile in ways
- 23:07Speaker 2: that we grew up in turmoil and pain, and so
- 23:10Speaker 2: you have to have a little different approach. You're gonna
- 23:13Speaker 2: have to fight things that we didn't have to fight.
- 23:15Speaker 2: Some of the things that you were fighting are things
- 23:18Speaker 2: that weren't even talked about when we came along, and
- 23:21Speaker 2: you have to fight that. Fighting older folks, you got
- 23:23Speaker 2: to be a little bit tender with them and a
- 23:26Speaker 2: little bit more understanding because they didn't come up with
- 23:29Speaker 2: washboards and cloths, lines, They didn't come up with without
- 23:33Speaker 2: houses and circumstances that we grew up that we called normal.
- 23:38Speaker 2: They don't know how to make corn bread without Jiffy.
- 23:41Speaker 2: They don't know. They don't know how to freeze ring beans.
- 23:45Speaker 2: They don't know how to can corn. They don't know.
- 23:49Speaker 2: They don't know how to make jelly out of skins
- 23:52Speaker 2: of apples. Talk to me, somebody, You know I'm telling
- 23:55Speaker 2: the truth. The times you're living in affects how you talk,
- 24:00Speaker 2: rest and how you move and how you deliver. So
- 24:03Speaker 2: when John the Baptist came along as say, repent the
- 24:06Speaker 2: kingdom of Heaven is at hand, they're thinking about an
- 24:10Speaker 2: earthly kingdom. They're wanting to crown Jesus as king. They're
- 24:15Speaker 2: wanting to see Jesus rule. They want to see Jesus
- 24:19Speaker 2: overthrow thean, the siege, and the Roman power and the
- 24:23Speaker 2: Roman hypocrasy that has taken over their land. Because they
- 24:28Speaker 2: You must understand that these are people who walk forty
- 24:33Speaker 2: years to get to their land, only to get in
- 24:36Speaker 2: their land and not be free in their own land.
- 24:39Speaker 2: I might not be free in the grocery store, I
- 24:42Speaker 2: might not be free of the gas station. I might
- 24:45Speaker 2: not be free of the school, but I be dug
- 24:48Speaker 2: one if I'm not going to be free in my
- 24:50Speaker 2: own house, and they had learned, come on, somebody, when
- 24:54Speaker 2: I go into my yard and close that gate, it
- 24:57Speaker 2: ain't none of your business. I get to be who
- 25:00Speaker 2: I want to be. That's why I make the patments
- 25:02Speaker 2: every month, so that I could rent free somewhere. But
- 25:05Speaker 2: they weren't safe anywhere. They were snatched out of their houses.
- 25:10Speaker 2: Doesn't sound familiar. They were abused in the street. And
- 25:14Speaker 2: I hate to shock you like this, but Jesus was
- 25:16Speaker 2: not nearly the first person to be crucified. Crucifixions were
- 25:23Speaker 2: as common as hangings were during slavery. And then Nina Simone,
- 25:29Speaker 2: I believe it was done strange fruit how you could
- 25:32Speaker 2: walk down the forest anywhere and see bodies hanging under
- 25:36Speaker 2: the abuse of slavery in the same way you could
- 25:40Speaker 2: see crosses anywhere. And they meant for it to bring
- 25:43Speaker 2: you to an open shame, because terrorists always go not
- 25:47Speaker 2: by the attack, but by the terror that it costs.
- 25:50Speaker 2: It gives you control, It makes you submit, It makes
- 25:54Speaker 2: you hush your mouth, It reminds you that I have
- 25:57Speaker 2: control over your life. Those were the times that they
- 26:01Speaker 2: were living in up against those obstacles, and when John
- 26:04Speaker 2: the Bautist said repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is
- 26:07Speaker 2: at hand. I don't blame him. I would have jumped
- 26:10Speaker 2: into Jordan. I would have swam into Jordan if you
- 26:14Speaker 2: told me that all you had to do is dump me,
- 26:16Speaker 2: and the kingdom was at hand, and I was gonna
- 26:19Speaker 2: get control of the land my father's march forty years
- 26:23Speaker 2: for I would be baptized right now, bide in any name,
- 26:28Speaker 2: baptized in any circumstance. I would go through anything just
- 26:32Speaker 2: to be free. John. The Baptists had a full congregation
- 26:36Speaker 2: because they were looking for liberation. God is always on
- 26:40Speaker 2: the side of the old pressed. Talk to me, somebody.
- 26:48Speaker 2: God is always on the side of the old pressed.
- 26:51Speaker 2: He's always on the one that's down trodden. He walks
- 26:54Speaker 2: past the person that's well to lay hands on the
- 26:57Speaker 2: person that's sick. God is always for the one that's oppressed.
- 27:02Speaker 2: God is on your side because of the oppression and
- 27:05Speaker 2: the inequities of power that exist in your life and
- 27:09Speaker 2: your house, and your community and your marriage. God is
- 27:12Speaker 2: always on the side of the oppressed. Now, if you've
- 27:15Speaker 2: never been oppressed, that don't mean nothing to you. But
- 27:18Speaker 2: if you've had to live in a situation of oppression,
- 27:22Speaker 2: you are to shout me down right now. The disciples
- 27:33Speaker 2: had given up everything to go with Jesus. Thomas was
- 27:37Speaker 2: not weak, he was very powerful. When Jesus made up
- 27:40Speaker 2: his mind to go to Jerusalem, there was a plot
- 27:44Speaker 2: that had been set off to kill him, and Thomas
- 27:47Speaker 2: was the one who said we must go and die
- 27:50Speaker 2: with him. That doesn't sound like a doubter if you're
- 27:55Speaker 2: willing to die for a cause. But sometimes people will
- 27:59Speaker 2: forget all the good things you said and hold on
- 28:02Speaker 2: to the bad thing that you said and define you
- 28:05Speaker 2: by a weak moment. But the truth of the matter,
- 28:07Speaker 2: Thomas was courageous, He was strong, He was powfer. The
- 28:12Speaker 2: very fact that Thomas was not in the upper room
- 28:15Speaker 2: with the other disciples because they were hiding for fear
- 28:18Speaker 2: of the Jews, and Thomas was walking up and down
- 28:21Speaker 2: the street tells you he's a bad negro. Anytime you
- 28:25Speaker 2: can walk down y'all ain't gonna talk to me. Anytime
- 28:31Speaker 2: you can walk down the street where other people are
- 28:33Speaker 2: fred to go, you gotta be some kind of bad.
- 28:37Speaker 2: There's some bad folks in here that will go someplace
- 28:40Speaker 2: that other people wouldn't go, and you'll go because you
- 28:43Speaker 2: got the courage to do whatever you gotta do to
- 28:46Speaker 2: get wherever you gotta go. There's some bad sisters in
- 28:49Speaker 2: this room. Don't let the hair fool you. They will
- 28:53Speaker 2: pull that hair down, take that wig off, pull their
- 28:57Speaker 2: nails off, yank them eyelashes, and fights you like a
- 29:01Speaker 2: dog in the street. See, they don't have nothing to
- 29:04Speaker 2: do with size. It's not the size of the dog
- 29:07Speaker 2: in the fight. It's the size of the fight and
- 29:10Speaker 2: the dog. Oh, hollylujah. Thomas was a strong fighter. He
- 29:15Speaker 2: was a liberator, He was an emancipator. He was a
- 29:19Speaker 2: deliberate those that were bound, and he said, I'm not
- 29:22Speaker 2: going to stay locked up like a dog in a cage.
- 29:25Speaker 2: I'm going to and fro as I will. So when
- 29:28Speaker 2: Jesus came there, and they were shocked because Thomas was
- 29:33Speaker 2: not there. The others were hiding, but Thomas was going
- 29:37Speaker 2: on about his business and he was not there. What
- 29:40Speaker 2: I like about the text, what I like about the tech,
- 29:45Speaker 2: is that Jesus came back eight days later. Somebody say,
- 29:49Speaker 2: eight days later, you're eight days away from a new virginning.
- 29:53Speaker 2: You're eight days away from a mighty's dain, You're eight
- 29:57Speaker 2: days away from a resurrection. You're eight days away from
- 30:01Speaker 2: a phone call, You're eight days away from an email,
- 30:05Speaker 2: You're eight days away from a complete resurrection. Your situation
- 30:09Speaker 2: is eight days away. That's why the demo's trying to
- 30:12Speaker 2: kill you while you're in the way. But the devil
- 30:15Speaker 2: is a liar. Eight is the number of new beginnings
- 30:19Speaker 2: in the Bible. Whenever you see eight, it symbolized a
- 30:23Speaker 2: new beginning. When you see seven, you come down to
- 30:26Speaker 2: the end. But when you see eight, it's gonna start
- 30:29Speaker 2: all over again. I don't know who I'm talking to.
- 30:33Speaker 2: I don't know who I'm talking to, but I feel
- 30:36Speaker 2: an eighth day spirit in this play. I feel an
- 30:39Speaker 2: eighth day spirit in this place. I feel an eight
- 30:43Speaker 2: day spirit in this place. Somebody's about to get a turnaround.
- 30:47Speaker 2: The Bible said that Thomas came along on the eighth day.
- 30:52Speaker 2: He comes back in the room. You must understand, y'all,
- 30:56Speaker 2: sit down, because you're gonna make me. You're gonna make me.
- 31:01Speaker 2: You gonna make me, you gonna make me. You won't
- 31:06Speaker 2: make me. You don't make me. You gonna make me.
- 31:13Speaker 2: Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah.
- 31:18Speaker 2: Floot somebody and say eight days your whole life can
- 31:24Speaker 2: turn around in eight days. Your circumstance can change in
- 31:28Speaker 2: eight days. Your breakthrough can happen in the eighth days.
- 31:32Speaker 2: Your deliverance can happen in an eight day. Don't kill
- 31:36Speaker 2: yourself till you have your eighth day. God can fix
- 31:39Speaker 2: it in eight days. God can fix it and make
- 31:42Speaker 2: it new all over again in eight days. And that
- 31:46Speaker 2: I the said that when it was eight days, the
- 31:50Speaker 2: way Thomas comes back in the room. Might I remind
- 31:53Speaker 2: you that the Bible teachers, according to the vitical law,
- 31:57Speaker 2: that children male children weren't support to be circumcised till
- 32:02Speaker 2: the eighth day. On the eighth day, God cuts away
- 32:05Speaker 2: the flesh. On the eighth day, God takes away what
- 32:08Speaker 2: is not needed. On the eighth day, God brings about
- 32:11Speaker 2: a mighty delivering. Eight is the number new beginning. So
- 32:15Speaker 2: Thomas waited till it was the hate day. And the
- 32:18Speaker 2: Bible says the Bible, the Bible, the Bible. The Bible says,
- 32:22Speaker 2: the Bible says the Bible, the Bible, the Bible. The
- 32:25Speaker 2: Bible says the Bible, the Bible. The Bible says, the Bible.
- 32:30Speaker 2: The Bible says. The Bible says on the eighth day,
- 32:34Speaker 2: he comes walking in the room, nobody, drugging nobody, snatching nobody,
- 32:39Speaker 2: handcuffing nobody, changing. He was walking in freedom while they
- 32:43Speaker 2: were walking in bondage. Fear makes you being bondish, but
- 32:48Speaker 2: faith will liberate you. Faith will cause you to walk
- 32:51Speaker 2: around like ain't nothing hottening when there is something hottening.
- 32:56Speaker 2: And he walked in the room on the eighth day,
- 32:59Speaker 2: and he in the room. But that is not what
- 33:02Speaker 2: e'x taighting me. What really he takes me about the
- 33:04Speaker 2: deech is that Jesus came back for an audience of one.
- 33:11Speaker 2: Now I understand what he meant about the prodigal son
- 33:15Speaker 2: and leaving the ninety nine and going after the one,
- 33:19Speaker 2: and the widow who swept the house looking for one
- 33:22Speaker 2: coin even though she had nine. Now I understand while
- 33:26Speaker 2: the father ran off the front porch to meet his
- 33:29Speaker 2: one son. God cares about you as an individual. He
- 33:33Speaker 2: cares about you. He knows your name, he knows your background,
- 33:38Speaker 2: he knows your circumstance. The hairs on your head are numbered,
- 33:42Speaker 2: not counted numbered. Their number. He got a number. If
- 33:46Speaker 2: it gets caught in a comb, he knows that's hair
- 33:49Speaker 2: number five one hundred and forty eight and ninety two.
- 33:52Speaker 2: God took cares about you. If his eye is on
- 33:55Speaker 2: the sparrow, then he watches over you. How dare you
- 33:59Speaker 2: sit there and think that you are forsaken, forgotten, rejected,
- 34:03Speaker 2: and cast aside the devil leditor that God knows exactly
- 34:06Speaker 2: where you are. If you make your bed in hell,
- 34:10Speaker 2: God is there. If you take the wings of the
- 34:12Speaker 2: morning and sell to the old God. I feel like
- 34:16Speaker 2: she said, I got to watch the self and sell
- 34:18Speaker 2: to the outermost parts of the earth. God is still there.
- 34:22Speaker 2: The church calls, doubting Thomas that but Heaven knew him
- 34:27Speaker 2: as disappointed Thomas. Thomas was disappointed. The key he had
- 34:32Speaker 2: to watch his king die to be said this way,
- 34:39Speaker 2: he had to watch his dream die. You do realize
- 34:45Speaker 2: that Jesus was the first one to die on the
- 34:48Speaker 2: cross in that setting. All the other men that were
- 34:52Speaker 2: crucified that day, when they came to check them, they
- 34:55Speaker 2: were already dead. But when they came to Jesus, I mean,
- 34:59Speaker 2: when they came to check him, they were still alive.
- 35:01Speaker 2: When it came to Jesus, he was already dead. That's
- 35:04Speaker 2: why they didn't break his legs, or at least that's
- 35:07Speaker 2: why they thought they didn't break his legs. The truth
- 35:10Speaker 2: of the matter is they didn't break his legs because
- 35:12Speaker 2: Leviticus had said that in order for him to be
- 35:15Speaker 2: a lamb, not one bone in his body would be broken.
- 35:20Speaker 2: Good God Almighty. So when they came to Jesus, Jesus
- 35:24Speaker 2: died first, so no bones could be broken. If the
- 35:27Speaker 2: bones had been broken, it would nullify his right to
- 35:31Speaker 2: be the lamb of God. But he presented himself holy
- 35:34Speaker 2: and spotless before his father. I feel a preaching annoying
- 35:38Speaker 2: and coming in this place. I feel the spirit of
- 35:41Speaker 2: the Living God coming in this place. And he stayed there,
- 35:45Speaker 2: and they found him dead. He was the first one dead,
- 35:48Speaker 2: and Thomas and the disciples had to watch him die.
- 35:54Speaker 2: They took him down off the cross and put him
- 35:59Speaker 2: in a tomb. The Nicodemus help to bring about. It
- 36:04Speaker 2: was a burrowed tone. You don't borrow nothing that you're
- 36:09Speaker 2: not gonna give back. It was a burrowed tomb. And
- 36:16Speaker 2: they put him in the tomb, and they thought it
- 36:20Speaker 2: was over. They had to take his rigor mortis ridden
- 36:23Speaker 2: body down off the cross and take his stiff hands,
- 36:28Speaker 2: and Faun pushed them down on the side. They had
- 36:32Speaker 2: to push his left hand down on the side. They
- 36:37Speaker 2: had to put his legs together and wrap him in
- 36:40Speaker 2: one inch strips, as through us the custom of the time,
- 36:44Speaker 2: to rap him til he looked like a mummy. They
- 36:46Speaker 2: knew he was dead. He couldn't move, he couldn't walk.
- 36:50Speaker 2: Blood and water came out of his body, which means
- 36:53Speaker 2: that his body's blood had separated because it had been
- 36:57Speaker 2: up there so long that the clear part of his
- 37:00Speaker 2: blood had separated from the red corpuscles in his blood.
- 37:04Speaker 2: They knew he was dead because he lost all heat
- 37:08Speaker 2: in his body. All the temperature was gone out of
- 37:10Speaker 2: his body. He was fragmented, he was broken, and most
- 37:14Speaker 2: of all, he was silent. Had he spoken, the angels
- 37:18Speaker 2: would have come and delivered him and brought back the
- 37:21Speaker 2: kingdom and ushered in the millennium to Zoon. Had he spoken,
- 37:26Speaker 2: the warring angels were stronger than the Roman empower. They
- 37:30Speaker 2: were greater than Caesar. They were greater than Rome, they
- 37:34Speaker 2: were greater than Herod, they were greater than Herod the Great.
- 37:38Speaker 2: They were greater than anything. But he was gone, and
- 37:41Speaker 2: his words were gone. Peter said, in your hands are
- 37:44Speaker 2: the words of eternal life. And they saw blood come
- 37:48Speaker 2: out of those hands, and they saw blood come out
- 37:50Speaker 2: of his side. And they saw the nail that was
- 37:54Speaker 2: in one nail in two feet, representing the jew and
- 37:58Speaker 2: the Gentile coming together fronder one gospel. And they nailed
- 38:02Speaker 2: them with one nail, and they had to pull that
- 38:05Speaker 2: nail out. They felt the thud of the nail coming
- 38:09Speaker 2: out of his feet, in between his foot joints, it
- 38:12Speaker 2: came out. They knew he was dead because they prepared
- 38:16Speaker 2: his body for burial. And Thomas had every right to
- 38:20Speaker 2: doubt the rumor that Jesus was still alive. Some people
- 38:24Speaker 2: said that they stolen his body. Some people said that
- 38:28Speaker 2: they had robbed the grave. It was not untommon to
- 38:31Speaker 2: rob the grave in the days of Jesus. They thought
- 38:35Speaker 2: that he had robbed the grave. And so when Thomas
- 38:38Speaker 2: comes in on the eighth day and they tell him
- 38:41Speaker 2: he's alive, he's alive. I know that, Thomas. I don't
- 38:45Speaker 2: want to hear that. I don't want to hear that.
- 38:47Speaker 2: That's what got me in trouble. Believe me, that's what
- 38:50Speaker 2: broke my heart. That's what upset me. That's what caused
- 38:53Speaker 2: me to quit my job. That's what caused me to
- 38:56Speaker 2: be away from my children. It hurts to believe. It
- 39:00Speaker 2: hurts to believe once you've been disappointed. It hurts to
- 39:04Speaker 2: believe once your heart has been broken. It hurts to believe,
- 39:08Speaker 2: once you've been tied down. It hurts to believe. Once
- 39:12Speaker 2: you see somebody you put all your trust in, nail
- 39:15Speaker 2: to a tree. It hurts to believe. He said, I
- 39:18Speaker 2: don't want to hear your message because I don't want
- 39:21Speaker 2: to go through the disappointment of another loss in my life.
- 39:25Speaker 2: And he said, I will not believe. The same one
- 39:28Speaker 2: who said I will die with him turns around now
- 39:32Speaker 2: and says, I will not believe because believing hurts. Believing
- 39:37Speaker 2: hurts when you are disappointed. Somebody in here knows what
- 39:40Speaker 2: it is like to believe in somebody and they disappoint
- 39:43Speaker 2: you so bad that your heart is broken. Somebody in
- 39:47Speaker 2: here knows what it's like to cry yourself to sleep.
- 39:50Speaker 2: Somebody in here knows what it's like for your dreams
- 39:53Speaker 2: to be dashed against the rock. Somebody in here knows
- 39:56Speaker 2: what it's like to go through hell and high water,
- 40:00Speaker 2: go to work and smile and go home and cry
- 40:03Speaker 2: and get in the car and let tears run. And
- 40:06Speaker 2: somebody in here understand what it's like to deal with disappointment.
- 40:10Speaker 2: You thought it was gonna happen, and it didn't happen.
- 40:12Speaker 2: You pops, you'd be there by now, and it didn't happen.
- 40:15Speaker 2: You thought you could count on them, and it didn't happen.
- 40:18Speaker 2: You topped everything would be all right, and it didn't happen.
- 40:21Speaker 2: And in other words, he was saying, like the old
- 40:23Speaker 2: song they sung in my day, now that I've cried
- 40:26Speaker 2: my love to sleep, don't wake it up. I don't
- 40:29Speaker 2: want to believe anymore. It reminds me of the shun
- 40:32Speaker 2: of myite woman when elied to told her that she
- 40:35Speaker 2: was going to have a baby, and he said, she said,
- 40:38Speaker 2: don't play with me. Don't play with me, don't play
- 40:42Speaker 2: with me. It hurts too much to believe. And now
- 40:46Speaker 2: that I've finally gotten used to the fact that I'm
- 40:49Speaker 2: gonna have to go through the rest of my life alone,
- 40:52Speaker 2: don't you come along and give me a promise. But
- 40:54Speaker 2: God has a way of giving you a promise, even
- 40:59Speaker 2: after all hell has broken loose. I got a message
- 41:02Speaker 2: for somebody in the room today. God has a way
- 41:06Speaker 2: of resurrecting your faith even though it hurts. God has
- 41:10Speaker 2: a way of restoring your mind and your heart. Even
- 41:13Speaker 2: when you're backed up in a corner, has shoved.
- 41:15Speaker 5: To the wall.
- 41:16Speaker 2: God has a way of making you take it back.
- 41:20Speaker 3: You see.
- 41:20Speaker 2: Thomas's name is also called Didimus in the Greek diitendness
- 41:25Speaker 2: means twin. One part of him wants to quit, the
- 41:28Speaker 2: other part of him keeps coming back again. One part
- 41:32Speaker 2: of him says, I'm too with it. The other part
- 41:34Speaker 2: of him keeps reaching back again. It feels like he
- 41:37Speaker 2: skits the frending because on one hand he left the room,
- 41:41Speaker 2: on the other hand, he came back to the room.
- 41:44Speaker 2: Because all of us got a twin, and one twin
- 41:47Speaker 2: wants to go one way and the other twin wants
- 41:50Speaker 2: to go the other way. Paul said it this way.
- 41:53Speaker 2: When I would do good, evil is present with me.
- 41:57Speaker 2: That which I would do I do, not that which
- 41:59Speaker 2: I not do. I do, old wretched man that I am,
- 42:03Speaker 2: who shall save me not from demons, not from devils,
- 42:07Speaker 2: not from witches, but save me from my twins. I
- 42:15Speaker 2: got a twin I gotta control. Is there anybody else
- 42:18Speaker 2: in here that got a twin, You gotta control My
- 42:22Speaker 2: twin don't want to go to church. My twin don't
- 42:25Speaker 2: want to live right. My twin wants to cuss you out.
- 42:29Speaker 2: My twin will bust you in your mouth. My twin
- 42:33Speaker 2: will drive the car right through your living room. My
- 42:36Speaker 2: twin will.
- 42:37Speaker 5: I have to pool like you.
- 42:38Speaker 2: Ain't never seen. And I have to watch my twin
- 42:41Speaker 2: because if I'm now care. We look alike, we wear
- 42:44Speaker 2: the same pole, we dress alike, we even walk alike.
- 42:48Speaker 2: But I got a twin that will freak out in here.
- 42:52Speaker 2: I got a twin that will go slap off in here,
- 42:55Speaker 2: And if I don't keep him in his cage, he'll
- 42:57Speaker 2: get loose, and you'll see somebody you had never met
- 43:00Speaker 2: before you met Bishop Jake. But my twin is not
- 43:04Speaker 2: Bishop ject. Is there anybody else in here that's been
- 43:08Speaker 2: dealing with your twin struggling with it. One day I'm in,
- 43:12Speaker 2: one day I'm out. One day I'm okayed, one day
- 43:16Speaker 2: I'm not opaid. One day I can take it, one
- 43:19Speaker 2: day I can't stand it. Is there anybody in here
- 43:22Speaker 2: that's had your twin wait till you got in the
- 43:24Speaker 2: bed and be waiting for you. And there you are
- 43:27Speaker 2: crying in the bed. There you are frustrated into the bed.
- 43:30Speaker 2: Thomas had a right to be disturbed, because it is
- 43:42Speaker 2: painful to believed. He didn't want to go through that again.
- 43:54Speaker 2: He didn't want to have his host dashed against the rocks.
- 43:59Speaker 2: He loves Jesus. He absolutely adored Jesus. He had given
- 44:09Speaker 2: up everything to follow Jesus. He thought Jesus was going
- 44:15Speaker 2: to be the answer to Jerusalem's problem. He thought Jesus
- 44:21Speaker 2: was going to be the liberator that set them free
- 44:24Speaker 2: from their oppressive He was going to sign the Emancipation Proclamation.
- 44:32Speaker 2: He was going to be the hariet tuntman of their situation.
- 44:36Speaker 2: He was going to bring them out of trouble. Judas
- 44:39Speaker 2: was so disappointed that he hung himself because in his
- 44:43Speaker 2: own mind, according to the Book of Jesus, which is
- 44:46Speaker 2: not a canonical book of the Bible, Judas thought, yeah, baby,
- 44:51Speaker 2: I'm with you. Judas thought. Judas thought that if he
- 44:54Speaker 2: forced Jesus' hand, that Jesus would force himself out and
- 44:59Speaker 2: show them who he really was. But instead of calling
- 45:02Speaker 2: ten thousand angels, he never said a mumbling word, And
- 45:07Speaker 2: when Judas saw him crucified. He went out to the
- 45:10Speaker 2: product field and hung himself. He couldn't take it because
- 45:14Speaker 2: it's planned backpart. Watch out for your plan, watch out
- 45:18Speaker 2: for your schem, watch out for your trick. Several will
- 45:23Speaker 2: tell you that your plans will go awrise. Don't get
- 45:26Speaker 2: a hag out to have your baby, though it hurts,
- 45:29Speaker 2: have your own baby. So you've grown to have your
- 45:32Speaker 2: own baby. There's some people that here that regret them
- 45:35Speaker 2: as stake you made because you had a plot, and
- 45:38Speaker 2: you had a plan and it went wrong, and it
- 45:41Speaker 2: went wrong and you suffered. You lean not to dine
- 45:44Speaker 2: own understanding. But trust in the Lord. I don't know
- 45:48Speaker 2: who I'm talking to, but you gotta trust God when
- 45:52Speaker 2: you can't trace him. You gotta trust God when you
- 45:56Speaker 2: can't see him. You gotta trust God when it looks
- 45:59Speaker 2: like he's not working. You gotta trust God when it
- 46:03Speaker 2: looks like you're losing. You gotta trust God when it
- 46:07Speaker 2: looks like you're going backwards. You gotta trust God when
- 46:10Speaker 2: people are laughing at you. You gotta trust God when
- 46:14Speaker 2: you're twin is marketing you. You gotta trust God when
- 46:18Speaker 2: you're running out of food. You gotta trust God when
- 46:22Speaker 2: you're running out of time. Somebody watching online. This word
- 46:26Speaker 2: is for you. You gotta trust him now like you
- 46:30Speaker 2: never trusted him before. Thomas said, I will not believe.
- 46:34Speaker 2: You've been wrestling in your mind. You're scared to believe God.
- 46:38Speaker 2: For that job, for that house, for that car, for
- 46:41Speaker 2: that entrepreneurship. You're a friend. But you've got to trust
- 46:44Speaker 2: God because God is about to do something. Flop three
- 46:48Speaker 2: people are saying, show eight day, It show eighth day,
- 46:53Speaker 2: It show eighth day. This is the day that something happens.
- 46:59Speaker 2: This is the day that the story changes. This is
- 47:02Speaker 2: the day that the yoke is broken. This is the
- 47:05Speaker 2: day that the hand tufts fall off. This is the
- 47:09Speaker 2: day that you get liberated. This is the day that
- 47:12Speaker 2: God does be impossible. And the Bible, the Bible, the
- 47:16Speaker 2: bib of the Bible, the bibe on the bie. Look
- 47:19Speaker 2: the Bible. The Bible took the time to tell us
- 47:24Speaker 2: that on Day's day, the door was closed. It was shut,
- 47:29Speaker 2: but Jesus came in anyway. Look to show Jesus who's
- 47:34Speaker 2: God enough to walk through the door and man enough
- 47:38Speaker 2: to eat fish. Once he gets inside the door, he said,
- 47:42Speaker 2: don't live in what I can do you can't lock
- 47:44Speaker 2: me out of your room. You can't lock me out
- 47:47Speaker 2: of your business, you can't lock me out of your plan.
- 47:50Speaker 2: And just to show you that I'm more than a ghost,
- 47:53Speaker 2: I think I'll sit down and have me a little
- 47:55Speaker 2: fish sandwich to remove all doubt that I got all power,
- 48:01Speaker 2: all power. Can I preach like I want to preach it?
- 48:05Speaker 5: I got all power down.
- 48:07Speaker 2: In my hands. Turn around and tell somebody he's got
- 48:11Speaker 2: all power. I don't care if you're on a kidney machine,
- 48:16Speaker 2: he's got all power. I don't care if you're suffering
- 48:19Speaker 2: from leukemia, he's got all power. I don't care if
- 48:23Speaker 2: they say you've got four stage cancer. He's got all power.
- 48:27Speaker 2: I don't care. If you've got a heart the stiffs beach,
- 48:30Speaker 2: he's got all power. I don't care if you're on
- 48:33Speaker 2: a respirator, he's got all power. I don't care. If
- 48:37Speaker 2: your son's in jail, he's got all power. I don't
- 48:41Speaker 2: care if your daughter's living on the street. He's got
- 48:45Speaker 2: all power. I don't care if they curse you to
- 48:48Speaker 2: your faith, he's got all power. He walks through the
- 48:52Speaker 2: doors whenever he wants to.
- 48:55Speaker 5: Lord walk through a door this morning, I.
- 48:58Speaker 2: Feel God walking through door this morning where the enemy
- 49:02Speaker 2: has set up a road blocked and trying to shut
- 49:05Speaker 2: you down from what God said he'd give you. God
- 49:08Speaker 2: is about to walk through the door. He's coming in
- 49:11Speaker 2: your direction. Stop. Let me ask you a question. Who
- 49:15Speaker 2: am I preaching you. You've been standing at the door
- 49:22Speaker 2: crying because the door is shut. But you've forgotten that
- 49:26Speaker 2: Jesus can walk through a door. He'll come and get you.
- 49:30Speaker 2: Even if they put you in the prison, if they
- 49:32Speaker 2: put you in the inner say some of the prison.
- 49:35Speaker 2: Even if they got several dates before you get out,
- 49:38Speaker 2: He'll lead you out of every date in every wall.
- 49:42Speaker 2: Don't let show the twin tell you that all hope
- 49:46Speaker 2: is gone. Because God's got a plan. Help me preach
- 49:51Speaker 2: this word. Cut three people and take God's got a plan.
- 49:56Speaker 2: God's got a plan. God's got a plan. God's got
- 50:01Speaker 2: a plan. God's got a plan for you. God's got
- 50:05Speaker 2: a plan for you. I'm not talking about the group.
- 50:08Speaker 2: God's got a plan for you. I'm not talking about
- 50:11Speaker 2: all the disciples. God's got a plan for you. The
- 50:15Speaker 2: reason you got out of the bed this morning, it's
- 50:18Speaker 2: because God's got a plan for you. He's got a
- 50:21Speaker 2: plan for your life, and no weapon formed against you
- 50:28Speaker 2: shall be able to prosper that. It might shut us,
- 50:31Speaker 2: but it won't work. They might curse you, but it
- 50:35Speaker 2: won't work. They made back to you in a corner,
- 50:38Speaker 2: but it won't work, because when it's your time to
- 50:43Speaker 2: come out, you're coming out. Tell you they excuse me,
- 50:49Speaker 2: I'm coming out. I'm coming out this morning. I'm coming
- 50:54Speaker 2: out this morning. I decree and declare that I'm coming
- 50:59Speaker 2: out this morning. It how de create declare that I'm
- 51:03Speaker 2: coming out of this situation right now in the name
- 51:07Speaker 2: of Jesus. Jesus came back for one person. If there's
- 51:12Speaker 2: only one person in this room that believes God, he'll
- 51:16Speaker 2: come to you. If there's one person in the city,
- 51:21Speaker 2: he'll stay the whole city. Is there one person in
- 51:25Speaker 2: the potter's house that's got enough faith to see God
- 51:30Speaker 2: bring things south? Is there one person in the balcony
- 51:35Speaker 2: that believes God for a miracle? Is there one person
- 51:40Speaker 2: in this house there's not a prayer to lift your
- 51:43Speaker 2: hands and open your mouth? And South Esus Us South Convaated,
- 51:51Speaker 2: have mercy on me. Jesus. I've been blind all my life.
- 51:58Speaker 2: But Jesus said little me. I'm just backed in a porter,
- 52:05Speaker 2: but I can steal.
- 52:05Speaker 5: Open my mouth.
- 52:07Speaker 2: My eyes don't work, but my mouth doesn't work. Don't
- 52:12Speaker 2: you know if your mouth works, you can get out
- 52:15Speaker 2: of anything. You shall have whatever you say. The power
- 52:19Speaker 2: of life and death is in your talk. That's why
- 52:23Speaker 2: the moment you get depressed, the first thing the devil
- 52:26Speaker 2: tries to do is to get you to shut up.
- 52:30Speaker 2: But the devil is alive. I've been quiet long enough.
- 52:34Speaker 2: I'm gonna open my mouth. I don't care what the
- 52:37Speaker 2: demons does. I don't care what hell does. I don't
- 52:42Speaker 2: care what the witch does.
- 52:43Speaker 5: I'm gonna open my mouth.
- 52:46Speaker 2: I need a crazy person. Better open your mouth, open
- 52:52Speaker 2: your mouth, open your mouth, open your mouth, open your mouth,
- 53:00Speaker 2: open your mouth, open your mouth, open your mouth. Breakfast, talent,
- 53:09Speaker 2: great the quiet, break the pain, break the current. When
- 53:15Speaker 2: you open your mouth. Having a symbol when you open
- 53:20Speaker 2: your mouth, heal and hits your body. When you open
- 53:24Speaker 2: your mouth, Gord, swing over there. When you open your mouth,
- 53:30Speaker 2: God will supply every need the power of life and death.
- 53:35Speaker 2: It's not in his tongue, it's in your tongue. You
- 53:39Speaker 2: shall have whatever you say if you confess death you're
- 53:43Speaker 2: gonna have death. If you confess life, You're gonna have life.
- 53:48Speaker 5: One more time.
- 53:49Speaker 2: Let me hear you, houler.
- 53:50Speaker 3: In this room, let me hear you, Let me hear you,
- 53:58Speaker 3: Let me hear you, Let me hear you.
- 54:02Speaker 5: Let me hear you, Let me hear you.
- 54:06Speaker 2: Let hell here, Let hell hear you, Let hell here,
- 54:13Speaker 2: let hell here. Let semons hear you. Let depression hear you.
- 54:19Speaker 2: Let thickness hear you. Let hear hear you. That fain
- 54:23Speaker 2: that's been taping you up at night, let it hear you.
- 54:26Speaker 2: Open your mouth.
- 54:28Speaker 5: You might have tied me.
- 54:30Speaker 2: Up at night, but joy is coming in the morning.
- 54:34Speaker 2: It's coming in the morning. It's coming in the morning.
- 54:38Speaker 2: Somebody that's been having a series of rough nights. Open
- 54:42Speaker 2: your mouth, and the clear morning.
- 54:50Speaker 5: It's fawning. It's fawning.
- 54:54Speaker 2: It's fawning, and the behinds say, can I finy preaching this,
- 55:00Speaker 2: the Bible said that Jesus came in and spoke to Peter.
- 55:04Speaker 2: He didn't wait for Thomas, He didn't wait for Thomas
- 55:08Speaker 2: to speak to him. He spoke for Thomas. He said,
- 55:11Speaker 2: reach other your hand and feel the nail prince in
- 55:15Speaker 2: my hand. As to reach other your hand and see
- 55:18Speaker 2: where they pierced me in the side. That represents outside wolds,
- 55:24Speaker 2: that represents the wounds you had that everybody saw. That
- 55:28Speaker 2: represents public wolds, that represents public scandals, that represents public pains,
- 55:35Speaker 2: that represents public divorces, that represents being trapped in that wheelchair.
- 55:41Speaker 2: I'm gonna want let you touch what you already saw,
- 55:45Speaker 2: the nail prince in my hand and the piercing.
- 55:48Speaker 5: On my side.
- 55:50Speaker 2: Hallelujah. And when you feel, when you feel the prince
- 55:54Speaker 2: in my side, you can see where they whipped my
- 55:57Speaker 2: back all night long. You wouldn't when they beat me.
- 56:01Speaker 2: But I took ships for this. I took pain for this.
- 56:05Speaker 2: Paul said, I bury in my body the box to
- 56:08Speaker 2: the Lord Jesus, and he said, when you see what
- 56:11Speaker 2: I went through, You'll understand who I am. When you
- 56:15Speaker 2: see how I stood, you'll understand who I am. You
- 56:20Speaker 2: think I'm just sister Stylid had brother Joe, But I've
- 56:24Speaker 2: been through hell and high waters. I wish I had
- 56:29Speaker 2: a miracle in this room, somebody that survived the sergeant,
- 56:35Speaker 2: somebody that withstood the beating, somebody that's still got the stars,
- 56:41Speaker 2: somebody that still got the stars. The wound, the poon
- 56:45Speaker 2: is gone, the pain is gone, but the star is
- 56:49Speaker 2: still there. You still got the stars. Use your stars
- 56:54Speaker 2: because whatever hurts you, God's gonna use it to bless you.
- 56:59Speaker 2: Whatever hurts you, God's gonna bring ministry. How every wound
- 57:03Speaker 2: is your life, every time you suffered, God's gonna give
- 57:08Speaker 2: you no more power. Jesus said, I am he that
- 57:13Speaker 2: walk dead, but I'm alive for evermore. Look at somebody
- 57:19Speaker 2: and said I was, But I am. I was, but
- 57:25Speaker 2: I am I was dead, but.
- 57:29Speaker 5: I am alive. I'm alive.
- 57:32Speaker 2: The devil didn't want me to be here this morning,
- 57:35Speaker 2: But the devil is a liar.
- 57:38Speaker 5: I'm alive.
- 57:39Speaker 2: I'm alive in the balcony, I'm alive, watching on lie
- 57:44Speaker 2: I'm alive in the printing.
- 57:46Speaker 5: I'm alive.
- 57:47Speaker 2: On the ministry's board, i am alive. I've been beat
- 57:52Speaker 2: bad enough. I should have been dead, but I'm still alive.
- 57:56Speaker 2: Y'all got to come get me because I can't stop
- 57:58Speaker 2: preaching it. I feel the anointing about a break a
- 58:02Speaker 2: yoke get here. I feel chains about to drop in here,
- 58:06Speaker 2: I feel doors opening up in here. I feel the
- 58:10Speaker 2: spirit of revival about to break loose in this place.
- 58:14Speaker 2: If you feel revived down in your soul, give God
- 58:19Speaker 2: thirty suckonds are praise or praise. Give God thirty sucking.
- 58:24Speaker 2: Give God thirty suckers. Give God thirty sucking. Give God
- 58:30Speaker 2: thirty sucking. Give God thirty suckings. If you gotta do
- 58:34Speaker 2: it in your seek, if you got to do it
- 58:37Speaker 2: in a chair, if you got to do it on
- 58:40Speaker 2: the floor, don't worry about your hair. Give Father the praise.
- 58:45Speaker 2: Then lets the tevil go. I'm alive, I'm alive. I'm alive,
- 58:55Speaker 2: ses sat Lord shaes Yes, Lord, I got equipment. Yes, yes, Lord, Yes,
- 59:06Speaker 2: blood yet, blood yet blood Yes, Lord, pp your hands
- 59:14Speaker 2: and give him crazy praise. I'm about to close, but
- 59:25Speaker 2: I need about a hundred people. Better jump out in
- 59:28Speaker 2: the high and do a victory dance for Jesus. I
- 59:32Speaker 2: need about a hundred people that's been through hell, but
- 59:36Speaker 2: you got a victory dance.
- 59:38Speaker 5: I'm alive, I'm fat.
- 59:41Speaker 2: I've been in the grave, i've been in the tomb,
- 59:45Speaker 2: I've been in the fire, I've been beat, i've been torn,
- 59:50Speaker 2: I've been nailed down.
- 59:52Speaker 5: But I'm alive forever more.
- 59:55Speaker 2: I need about a hundred people. I need about a
- 59:58Speaker 2: hundred people. That feels a holy ghost. Burn in that
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: se open your mouth, move your feet, hot your hands,
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: and give God a praise. I hear God's moving. I
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: hear God's moving. I hear God moving. Somebody's coming out
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: of that tomb. Somebody's coming out of that grave, somebody
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: coming out of that hole. Somebody's coming out. I hear
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: thone rolling away. I tell you the craving. I tell
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: you the craving because the Throne moves out of your life.
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: I tell you the praising. Come on, crazing, BacT you've
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: lost your mind?
- 1:01:00Speaker 5: What say? What?
- 1:01:03Speaker 3: What?
- 1:01:11Speaker 5: Where? Where? Anything to me? Then?
- 1:01:18Speaker 3: Where? Wherever?
- 1:01:22Speaker 5: Wherever? As I bring this message.
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: To a close, the Bible said that Thomas truck down
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: on his knees and said, my Lord and my God,
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: it may hurt to believe, but when God gets to
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: finishing what he's doing in your life, your faith is
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: gonna pay off. You're watching right now. Your faith is
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: gonna pay off. You're in the balcony right now. Your
- 1:02:58Speaker 2: faith is gonna pay off. You've been through hell and
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: how water. Your faith is gonna pay off. He droumped
- 1:03:07Speaker 2: down on his knees and send my Lord and my God.
- 1:03:13Speaker 2: You're still lord over my situation. You're still Lord over
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: my circumstance. And I've got a feeling and everything it's
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: gonna be alright. I've got a feeling that that everything
- 1:03:30Speaker 2: he's gonna feel all right. I can't hear you. I
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: gotta feeling that everything he's gonna gotta feeling that. I
- 1:03:41Speaker 2: just got a feeling.
- 1:03:43Speaker 5: I don't know where it's gonna come from, but I
- 1:03:47Speaker 5: got a.
- 1:03:47Speaker 2: Feeling everything is gonna be all right. There's somebody in
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: this room. God meant for you to hear this word.
- 1:04:04Speaker 2: You have gone through the pain of believing, to the
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: point that you have anesthetized your faith to avoid the pain.
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: You just want the pain to stop more than you
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: want your prayer answer. The pain has taken center stage
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: over the answering of your prayer. And now you think
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: victory is the end of pain, and you call it peace,
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: but it's really anesthesia because you don't want to believe
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: because you don't see it. And Jesus said to Thomas,
- 1:05:03Speaker 2: you have believed because you have seen. Yeah, But blessed
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: are ads who have not seen, And yet they believe
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: you haven't seen a thing. But you've got that stubborn
- 1:05:23Speaker 2: faith that says He's still gonna do it. He's still
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: gonna do Who am I talking to He's still going
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: to do it. I don't want people who like the message.
- 1:05:49Speaker 2: I don't even want people who like me. You don't
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: have to like me at all. I want people on
- 1:05:57Speaker 2: this altar who know the Word was for them. And
- 1:06:05Speaker 2: God was talking to you while I was preaching about
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: certain things going on in your life. And as the
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: lady said, I was reading your mail. Yeah, I'm I'm
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: delivering this mail to you today. I came like fed
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: Ex to drop off a package to you so that
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: you could believe and watch God move in your behalf.
- 1:06:46Speaker 5: It is it is.
- 1:06:47Speaker 2: That's where I clap your hands from cop your hands.
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: It is.
- 1:07:05Speaker 2: Fearful, it's frightening to keep believing. Disappointment don't feel good.
- 1:07:26Speaker 2: And sometimes we run from the things God gave us
- 1:07:31Speaker 2: because they get hard, rigormoritous hard, Mummy, Harry, and we
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: don't want to go through the process of having the
- 1:07:54Speaker 2: resurrection of our faith. But why come to church if
- 1:08:02Speaker 2: something's not gonna jump start your faith? I look on
- 1:08:12Speaker 2: Facebook and Instagram and Twitter at all the stuff they
- 1:08:15Speaker 2: say about the church. And most of them who are
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: talking about the church don't even go to church. I
- 1:08:23Speaker 2: know they don't go to church. They be talking about
- 1:08:27Speaker 2: And if you build a mega church, how can you
- 1:08:29Speaker 2: build a mega church? How can you make a megachurch?
- 1:08:33Speaker 2: People make a megachurch? What you're gonna do, Come in
- 1:08:39Speaker 2: the city and build a big building and declare yourself
- 1:08:42Speaker 2: a megachurch. God mixed it mega, God mixed it mega.
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: I did not come to Dollars to build a mega church.
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: I didn't even expect it to be a megachurch. I
- 1:09:02Speaker 2: was coming to Dallas because they said coming to Dallas.
- 1:09:05Speaker 2: And if I had to play the piano and preach
- 1:09:07Speaker 2: with a microphone up against the piano, I was going
- 1:09:11Speaker 2: to preach this word because that's what I'm used to.
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: I'm used to a fight. Hit me if you want it.
- 1:09:21Speaker 2: I'm used to a fight. I'm used to a fight.
- 1:09:25Speaker 2: I'm so used to a fight that when people started coming,
- 1:09:27Speaker 2: it scared me. Fifteen hundred people during the first Sunday,
- 1:09:33Speaker 2: it scared me through death. I thought, Lord, I don't
- 1:09:38Speaker 2: even know what to do with fifteen hundred people. By
- 1:09:42Speaker 2: the end of two years, I had ten thousand people.
- 1:09:46Speaker 2: I thought, Oh God, I didn't have ten thousand roaches
- 1:09:50Speaker 2: in my church. People were driving from Longview and coming
- 1:09:59Speaker 2: from around the world, moving from other cities to be
- 1:10:03Speaker 2: in this church. Get out at all shock. I'm telling
- 1:10:13Speaker 2: you your dream will exceed your vision. It'll be more
- 1:10:21Speaker 2: than you expected. The trying of your faith works, patience
- 1:10:28Speaker 2: and patience, worth of hope, and hope maketh itself not ashamed.
- 1:10:35Speaker 2: You're not gonna be ashamed. You're not gonna be a shame.
- 1:10:41Speaker 2: Lift your hands right where you are you're watching online,
- 1:10:45Speaker 2: lift your hands. And if you've been trying to back
- 1:10:51Speaker 2: away from your dream, if you've been like Sarah and
- 1:10:54Speaker 2: trying to find ahavior to fill in for the dream,
- 1:11:00Speaker 2: God don't need your help to give you your baby.
- 1:11:07Speaker 2: And I want you, with your hands raised and your
- 1:11:09Speaker 2: heart open, to let God know I'm sorry that I
- 1:11:16Speaker 2: tried to do it by myself. I'm sorry that after
- 1:11:23Speaker 2: you endured such pain, I gave up so easy. You see,
- 1:11:31Speaker 2: when Thomas and Jesus came together, they both had scars.
- 1:11:38Speaker 2: Jesus had scars on the outside, but Thomas had scars
- 1:11:43Speaker 2: on the inside. He had scars on the inside. He
- 1:11:51Speaker 2: had walked with Jesus three years only to find out
- 1:11:54Speaker 2: that you didn't have a clue what Jesus was going
- 1:11:58Speaker 2: to do. Yeah, your doctrine, your doctrine, your ideology has
- 1:12:07Speaker 2: made the Word of God of no effect. We're gonna
- 1:12:12Speaker 2: kick open that door and say, Lord, come in. I'm
- 1:12:17Speaker 2: not gonna tell you how to do it. I'm not
- 1:12:20Speaker 2: gonna tell you who to use. I'm not going to
- 1:12:23Speaker 2: tell you when to do it.
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: That.
- 1:12:27Speaker 2: I'm gonna keep on believing you from your heart, now,
- 1:12:35Speaker 2: from your heart, because the enemy gonna try this. He's
- 1:12:38Speaker 2: gonna try you. He's going to try you this Sunday morning.
- 1:12:51Speaker 2: I confess that it hurts to believe, and I confess
- 1:12:59Speaker 2: that sometimes I've been double minded. My other twin, my
- 1:13:06Speaker 2: other twin walks away. But at this altar, I'm calling
- 1:13:12Speaker 2: them together to a place of wholeness and oneness, and
- 1:13:18Speaker 2: I seek unity within myself. I'm not seeking unity with
- 1:13:24Speaker 2: other people. I'm seeking unity within myself. And I'm not
- 1:13:31Speaker 2: ashamed to say, Lord, I believe you. I still believe you,
- 1:13:41Speaker 2: I still trust you, I still expect you to move
- 1:13:46Speaker 2: in my behalf whenever you get ready. I believe you're
- 1:13:53Speaker 2: going to move in the name of Jesus, we praise
- 1:13:57Speaker 2: giving the best praise you got. Honey. I want you
- 1:14:13Speaker 2: with my wife's uh, honey, I want you to write
- 1:14:20Speaker 2: a check for eighty dollars. I'm believing God for an
- 1:14:24Speaker 2: eighth day. I'm believing God for APay. You know there
- 1:14:29Speaker 2: are certain things that we're expecting God to do. I'm
- 1:14:33Speaker 2: believing God for an eighth day, and I want to
- 1:14:36Speaker 2: challenge as many of you as can to follow us
- 1:14:40Speaker 2: in connecting with the seed with an eighty dollars seed.
- 1:14:44Speaker 2: If you can't give that anything he got a aid
- 1:14:46Speaker 2: in twenty eight thirty eight eighteen, anything that's got to
- 1:14:53Speaker 2: aid in it. I am expecting a new beginning and
- 1:15:08Speaker 2: I'm expecting a new virginning. If you don't have to leave,
- 1:15:12Speaker 2: wait just a moment. I know some of you go
- 1:15:14Speaker 2: into your pocket book that if you don't have to leave,
- 1:15:18Speaker 2: wait just a moment. If there's anybody in this room
- 1:15:28Speaker 2: that wants to be saved, come and stand right up
- 1:15:35Speaker 2: front over here, Come through the crowd like the woman
- 1:15:38Speaker 2: with your blood, and say I want to be saved.
- 1:15:47Speaker 2: If there's anybody, do you all mind standing up for
- 1:15:50Speaker 2: just a moment. I didn't tell you the word of
- 1:15:54Speaker 2: high heels down and you want to be saved, just
- 1:16:13Speaker 2: stand right there. Somebody else told either saying by yourself,
- 1:16:17Speaker 2: come on down. If you're here and your backslider and
- 1:16:22Speaker 2: this message touches you and you want to come back
- 1:16:27Speaker 2: to the Lord, come stand right here, right now. If
- 1:16:32Speaker 2: you're watching online, there's a prayer number on the screen.
- 1:16:38Speaker 2: See the Bible said they overcame by the blood of
- 1:16:40Speaker 2: the lamb and the word of their testimony. Don't just
- 1:16:45Speaker 2: keep it in your head. You got to bring it
- 1:16:46Speaker 2: out where you say so, is there anyone else to
- 1:16:51Speaker 2: come right now? You may be in the balcony. We'll wait.
- 1:16:55Speaker 3: Lord.
- 1:16:57Speaker 2: The devil will create any excuse he can to keep
- 1:17:02Speaker 2: you found. But Taden is alife. I wait on you,
- 1:17:08Speaker 2: come on down. I wait m h. I'm getting ready
- 1:17:38Speaker 2: to pray, but I don't want to leave anybody out
- 1:17:41Speaker 2: of this prayer. Anybody that the Holy Spirit is nudging
- 1:17:46Speaker 2: to get down here. I want you to come. M
- 1:18:03Speaker 2: Suppose Thomas had not come on that eighth day, that
- 1:18:09Speaker 2: was his moment that Jesus came just for him. And
- 1:18:11Speaker 2: I believe God gave me this word for some body.
- 1:18:20Speaker 2: He wanted to give you a chance to change your view.
- 1:18:31Speaker 2: Trit for as she comes. I have no judgment to
- 1:18:52Speaker 2: pass under you. I know what it is to be discouraged,
- 1:19:00Speaker 2: standing what it is to get tired. I understand what
- 1:19:04Speaker 2: it is to want to quit. I understand that little
- 1:19:09Speaker 2: voice said, nothing gonna ever happen to me. I understand
- 1:19:17Speaker 2: secret heartbreaks. But you won't leave here like you can
- 1:19:25Speaker 2: to God. It's going to do something so real in
- 1:19:35Speaker 2: your life. There's some of your friends. I gonna like
- 1:19:39Speaker 2: you no more because the old you is gonna die.
- 1:19:44Speaker 2: That's all to.
- 1:19:46Speaker 3: That.
- 1:19:46Speaker 2: The new you is gonna be resurrect right now. I
- 1:19:53Speaker 2: don't care what you've been bound by. I don't care
- 1:19:55Speaker 2: what you've got all about. It is greater than anything
- 1:19:57Speaker 2: that had you bound. Still coming, y'all, they're still coming.
- 1:20:05Speaker 2: They're still coming. They're still coming. Grown men and there
- 1:20:19Speaker 2: coming to the talking. Give me just a few more minutes, Sis,
- 1:20:28Speaker 2: a few more minutes. I'm still earlier that you're going
- 1:20:31Speaker 2: to get out. I want to give one minute for
- 1:20:37Speaker 2: that soul that hell is holding back fifty seconds. I
- 1:20:54Speaker 2: know the devil don't want you to come, but I'm
- 1:20:56Speaker 2: waiting thirty five, twenty five seconds. That word was for me.
- 1:21:09Speaker 2: Come on down, young man, twenty five certain. That word
- 1:21:12Speaker 2: was for me. Twenty seconds and I'm gonna break twenty seconds.
- 1:21:23Speaker 3: Are you sure?
- 1:21:24Speaker 2: Are you sure? Are you sure? Are you sure? Are
- 1:21:29Speaker 2: you sure? Come on down? Fifteen seconds? Come on down?
- 1:21:41Speaker 2: Hold it for just one second. It's beautiful, it's beautiful,
- 1:21:44Speaker 2: but hold it is just one second. I want you
- 1:21:47Speaker 2: to hear this secret. I know you're his before you
- 1:21:56Speaker 2: ever started walking, because the Bible said, and no man
- 1:22:00Speaker 2: can come to the Father save the spirit drawing him.
- 1:22:06Speaker 2: He said, I know them that are mine. He knows you,
- 1:22:12Speaker 2: He wants you to know him. You don't have to
- 1:22:15Speaker 2: worry about rejection because you are accepted in the beloved.
- 1:22:22Speaker 2: Jesus cares about you, or you wouldn't have felt that
- 1:22:26Speaker 2: pull to be here. There are still some people in
- 1:22:30Speaker 2: the crowd that don't feel a pull. They've moved so
- 1:22:33Speaker 2: far away that they don't feel a pull. They've been
- 1:22:38Speaker 2: bound by curses and they don't feel the pull. The
- 1:22:43Speaker 2: very fact that you can feel the pull, the very
- 1:22:45Speaker 2: fact that you got tears running down in your face,
- 1:22:49Speaker 2: the very fact that you came. I don't care if
- 1:22:51Speaker 2: you was the last person to coul You belong to him.
- 1:22:58Speaker 2: You belong to him. Your life is not your own.
- 1:23:05Speaker 2: And God has a plan for you. And I'm happy
- 1:23:09Speaker 2: this morning because when God gave me this word, I
- 1:23:13Speaker 2: got so happy. I couldn't wait for Sunday to come.
- 1:23:19Speaker 2: I just couldn't wait for Sunday to come. I preached
- 1:23:23Speaker 2: to my wife. I called people up on the phone
- 1:23:27Speaker 2: and start preaching to him. I know my friends were
- 1:23:31Speaker 2: sick of me because I was just a preacher. I
- 1:23:34Speaker 2: had to get it out. I had to get it out.
- 1:23:49Speaker 2: The pain of the leaving you still come, the pain
- 1:23:53Speaker 2: of believing I would never try to stop you. From
- 1:24:00Speaker 2: me to Jesus, you can steal come. I just want
- 1:24:07Speaker 2: you to know that you can't come if he don't
- 1:24:11Speaker 2: draw you. And he doesn't draw everybody. He draws those
- 1:24:19Speaker 2: that are kids. He said. My sheep know my voice,
- 1:24:32Speaker 2: and a stranger they will not follow. You know his voice,
- 1:24:38Speaker 2: and you don't. There's still some people standing back there
- 1:24:43Speaker 2: who don't hear nothing. But you heard him calling you
- 1:24:48Speaker 2: and you're come and said yes. And it's a gift
- 1:24:50Speaker 2: from God to be able to hear him that I
- 1:24:55Speaker 2: didn't do anything so bad that I went death. It
- 1:25:02Speaker 2: means he loves me. It means he cares about me,
- 1:25:08Speaker 2: no matter what he wanted you. Now, I'm gonna pray
- 1:25:43Speaker 2: with you, and you're gonna pray with me. But if
- 1:25:47Speaker 2: the truth be told, it's already done. If it was
- 1:26:00Speaker 2: done when you made up your mind to start walking,
- 1:26:05Speaker 2: by the time you got down here, the door was
- 1:26:07Speaker 2: open and the Lord was in your room. Right then,
- 1:26:12Speaker 2: because you have heard his voice, bow your heads with me, Father,
- 1:26:18Speaker 2: Repeat it with me. Father, I repent of my slowfulness,
- 1:26:26Speaker 2: of my sinfulness, of all of my doubts, and all
- 1:26:32Speaker 2: of my brokenness. You went through all of that to
- 1:26:39Speaker 2: get me out. And I'm glad that right here and
- 1:26:45Speaker 2: right now, in front of all of these people, I
- 1:26:50Speaker 2: accept you as Lord in my life. Do what you
- 1:26:55Speaker 2: want to do, Change what you want to change, fix
- 1:27:00Speaker 2: what you want to fix. I'm giving my life to you.
- 1:27:06Speaker 2: I decree and declare that I will never ever be
- 1:27:13Speaker 2: the same again. In Jesus' name. Amen, give him all
- 1:27:19Speaker 2: the praise you can give us. I mean, come on,
- 1:27:25Speaker 2: come on, come on, come on, give him all the
- 1:27:28Speaker 2: praise you can give him, all the praise you can
- 1:27:33Speaker 2: give me. Okay, we're getting ready to go home. I
- 1:27:45Speaker 2: know y'all try to be the first one in the
- 1:27:47Speaker 2: parking lot to be stuck. Mhmm, you'll be just running
- 1:27:54Speaker 2: out the door. I know it, I understand it. I
- 1:28:00Speaker 2: just know it don't work. Let me do something before
- 1:28:04Speaker 2: I dismiss you, and it's gonna sound redonean it maybe,
- 1:28:08Speaker 2: and get on some of your nerves. If there's somebody
- 1:28:13Speaker 2: still standing there and you're fighting with yourself because you
- 1:28:22Speaker 2: didn't come, you almost think you're cursed. I'm gonna call
- 1:28:39Speaker 2: you again, and I'm gonna lay hands on you myself.
- 1:28:43Speaker 2: I want you to come.
- 1:29:12Speaker 3: I said that.
- 1:29:17Speaker 2: What come, you must be mighty special to God. Oh right,
- 1:29:33Speaker 2: you must be mighty special to God. Because I was
- 1:29:38Speaker 2: gonna give the benediction. He said, give her one more chance.
- 1:29:44Speaker 2: As I lay my hands on you. How as I
- 1:29:48Speaker 2: lay my hand from you, every chain be broken, every
- 1:29:54Speaker 2: barrier be moved. As I lay my hands on you,
- 1:29:58Speaker 2: I break every general curse. As I lay my hands
- 1:30:03Speaker 2: on you, I go all the way back into your ancestry,
- 1:30:08Speaker 2: and I command the deliverance right now in the name
- 1:30:12Speaker 2: of Jesus. You will never be the same again. God
- 1:30:17Speaker 2: brought you here this morning. You will not be the
- 1:30:20Speaker 2: same again. And she's the name. Now tell God yes,
- 1:30:26Speaker 2: tell him yes, Tell.
- 1:30:28Speaker 5: Him yes, Tell God yes, Tell God yes, tell him yes.
- 1:30:36Speaker 2: That's right here, hung and tongue back. It comes to tongue.
- 1:30:41Speaker 2: It's coming back.
- 1:30:42Speaker 5: It's coming back.
- 1:30:43Speaker 2: It's coming back.
- 1:30:45Speaker 5: It's coming back.
- 1:30:46Speaker 2: He's coming back. It's coming back. Somebody help her, just
- 1:30:50Speaker 2: for stup it.
- 1:30:51Speaker 5: Somebody help her.
- 1:30:52Speaker 2: He's gonna shunt the ad. Say God, you, oh my God,
- 1:30:55Speaker 2: I love you. Nobody help me, save him. Somebody helped me.
- 1:31:01Speaker 2: And raising somebody help me, praising somebody helped me. Praising
- 1:31:08Speaker 2: this your hands is praising you, free woman. You lose
- 1:31:13Speaker 2: the woman. You're the living woman right now in the
- 1:31:19Speaker 2: name of the Seeson. It is pennies. Pap your hands
- 1:31:24Speaker 2: and praise him everybody, everywhere, everybody everywhere, Right, Church, I
- 1:31:37Speaker 2: guess you're gonna let me. Let you go now. Oh
- 1:31:42Speaker 2: that's right. I'm sorry. The people who gave me in
- 1:31:44Speaker 2: the Humblopes, passed it all the way down to the left, right,
- 1:31:52Speaker 2: pass it all the way down to the left. Pmt's service,
- 1:32:01Speaker 2: I pray God give you a special blessing because you
- 1:32:05Speaker 2: would throw anxious to give that you would not let
- 1:32:07Speaker 2: me forget to collect that offer. I pray a double
- 1:32:12Speaker 2: portion on your life right now, in the name of Jesus.
- 1:32:18Speaker 5: Is you online?
- 1:32:19Speaker 2: That blessing goes to you too, right now, in the
- 1:32:23Speaker 2: name of Jesus, pass it all the way down to
- 1:32:26Speaker 2: the left. PMT served the people of God. How many
- 1:32:31Speaker 2: people glad you came to church this morning? I said,
- 1:32:36Speaker 2: how many people are glad? I said, how many people
- 1:32:42Speaker 2: are glad? Who I feel? I preached the bard, I said,
- 1:32:46Speaker 2: how many people are glad?
- 1:32:51Speaker 5: My God?
- 1:32:52Speaker 2: Everybody in the in the pewse touch somebody we would
- 1:32:55Speaker 2: getting ready to go home, We're gonna touch it. We're
- 1:32:58Speaker 2: gonna leave nobody untouched. If you're standing up here to
- 1:33:01Speaker 2: touch somebody, we're gonna leave nobody untouched. Nobody's gonna come
- 1:33:05Speaker 2: to the party's house and remain untouched, nobody, nobody. I
- 1:33:14Speaker 2: care more about your souls than I do anything else.
- 1:33:19Speaker 2: I listened at a man lie on the Instagram saying
- 1:33:23Speaker 2: we want your tax returns and all the kind stuff
- 1:33:27Speaker 2: never happened in my life. Our first revival was for
- 1:33:34Speaker 2: homeless people. Yeah, we went in the prisons, we went
- 1:33:40Speaker 2: in the jails, we got people who were cast away,
- 1:33:45Speaker 2: We got people who were team moms, We got people
- 1:33:49Speaker 2: who were abused. We made a partnership with the house
- 1:33:52Speaker 2: and the dollars so that abused women could escape. Never
- 1:33:57Speaker 2: did it, but they said, in my life, but we
- 1:34:00Speaker 2: are living in a time where you can hardly tell
- 1:34:03Speaker 2: a life of the truth. It was some gonna be
- 1:34:09Speaker 2: honest with you. It was hard for me not to
- 1:34:11Speaker 2: say nothing back. That other twin jumped down off of
- 1:34:15Speaker 2: my shoulders. That twin told me, you ought to just
- 1:34:21Speaker 2: let them have it one good time, just one good time,
- 1:34:25Speaker 2: one good time. God ain't looking. You ought to just
- 1:34:27Speaker 2: let them have it one good time. In the fifty
- 1:34:32Speaker 2: years I have been preaching, I have never seen or
- 1:34:37Speaker 2: asked anybody for a tax return. I have never counted
- 1:34:42Speaker 2: an offering ever. I'd never touch it, never, never. I've
- 1:34:55Speaker 2: had fifteen New York Times best sellers. I had executive
- 1:35:07Speaker 2: produced over six books, movies. Wow, they're playing my stuff now.
- 1:35:17Speaker 2: I made some money up. I didn't give it to him.
- 1:35:23Speaker 2: I made some money and then came back home and
- 1:35:26Speaker 2: taught my people how to make money, how to invest money,
- 1:35:30Speaker 2: how to save money. That's why I did. I came back,
- 1:35:32Speaker 2: got out in the community and paid people and had
- 1:35:35Speaker 2: people wrapped all the way up to thirty feeding people
- 1:35:38Speaker 2: when nobody else would feed 'em. I preached almost three
- 1:35:41Speaker 2: years in this church with nobody in this building. But
- 1:35:44Speaker 2: I stood there and preached the gospel all through Kovid.
- 1:35:48Speaker 2: I preached the gospel, and I started to let him have.
- 1:35:51Speaker 2: I would have wrote a book in that little line.
- 1:35:53Speaker 2: I don't know when they run out of world. I
- 1:35:55Speaker 2: would have wrote a book and still been talking. And
- 1:35:59Speaker 2: then got said to me, what good would it do?
- 1:36:03Speaker 2: People believe what they like to believe. You are my witnesses.
- 1:36:17Speaker 2: You are my witnesses. You are my credentials. You are
- 1:36:25Speaker 2: my living epistles to the authenticity of my ministry. And
- 1:36:32Speaker 2: I don't need nobody else. I got you. I got
- 1:36:38Speaker 2: you now. With everybody touching. You said, where two or
- 1:36:45Speaker 2: three are gathered together in my name, there am I
- 1:36:48Speaker 2: in the midst of them. We are gathered together in
- 1:36:51Speaker 2: your name. You said, if any two or three agree
- 1:36:57Speaker 2: as touching anything on earth to be done, I pray
- 1:37:02Speaker 2: God in the name of Jesus, that not one of
- 1:37:05Speaker 2: these words would fail, but that you would manifest yourself
- 1:37:09Speaker 2: in everyone's life. In a different way, in an unexpected way,
- 1:37:15Speaker 2: in a supernatural way. Let many testimonies come out of
- 1:37:19Speaker 2: this word and bless our pastors as a servant all
- 1:37:25Speaker 2: the way across the country. Bless them right now and
- 1:37:28Speaker 2: bring them back home safely to us. Bless the Jackson
- 1:37:31Speaker 2: family in a very special way and give them peace
- 1:37:36Speaker 2: and power. In the name of Jesus, Thank you for
- 1:37:40Speaker 2: every gift you gave our generation. Thank you for every
- 1:37:44Speaker 2: voice or cried loud and spare not. Thank you for
- 1:37:47Speaker 2: everyone that names the name of the Lord. And most
- 1:37:50Speaker 2: of all, we thank you for these souls that come
- 1:37:54Speaker 2: to this altar today. Oh my God, thank you for
- 1:37:59Speaker 2: these souls. If all of them could tell what they've
- 1:38:03Speaker 2: been through, we still be should we thank you in
- 1:38:07Speaker 2: Jesus' name. Amen, I love you. Take care.
- 1:38:14Speaker 1: At the Podles House, we are invested in you, not
- 1:38:18Speaker 1: just what you do, for who you are becoming.
- 1:38:21Speaker 4: We believe that in this house we are better together.
- 1:38:24Speaker 4: We need one another to be holy, to hold each
- 1:38:27Speaker 4: other accountable, and to keep growing.
- 1:38:31Speaker 1: As God positions us to serve every soul. We believe
- 1:38:35Speaker 1: that an act of sowing is an act of faith
- 1:38:38Speaker 1: and agreement right where God is spreading.
- 1:38:40Speaker 4: Up and we're honors that we get to partner with
- 1:38:43Speaker 4: you in reaching lives near and far. This is your
- 1:38:48Speaker 4: official invitation to not just be a spectator, but to
- 1:38:52Speaker 4: be a partner, be a member of our family that
- 1:38:55Speaker 4: seeks Kingdom solutions during the challenges of every amen.
- 1:39:01Speaker 1: Your giving, your service, and your love to this house
- 1:39:05Speaker 1: isn't just generosity, it's ministry.
- 1:39:07Speaker 4: If this message spoke to you and you believe what
- 1:39:10Speaker 4: God is doing in this house, we invite you to
- 1:39:13Speaker 4: become a member today.
- 1:39:15Speaker 1: We want to do life with you and share this
- 1:39:19Speaker 1: message with someone you care about, someone who needs it
- 1:39:22Speaker 1: the most. I believe that it could be the catalyst
- 1:39:25Speaker 1: for the breakthrough that they're seeking. No matter where you are,
- 1:39:28Speaker 1: remember God sees you, He loves you, and so do
- 1:39:32Speaker 1: we
