- 9:12SPEAKER_01: Like I have not had the Russell's 13, one of my favorite pours, but I have not had a chance to get that 2025.
- 9:20SPEAKER_01: Oh, you suck.
- 9:22SPEAKER_01: Who's it?

- 9:43SPEAKER_01: Fuck yeah.
- 9:45SPEAKER_01: America! I mean, if you say God bless, I'm I'm supporting that stuff.
- 9:49SPEAKER_01: And look at it, I got my old Carter Glenn waiting for some stuff, and I'm not gonna get anything in there because we're gonna get a bunch of them.
- 9:55SPEAKER_01: All right, then we got the Knob Creek 21.
- 9:57SPEAKER_02: Which came out at Saturday.
- 9:59SPEAKER_01: No, I will have to say of these two, the Knob Creek and the Cathedral.
- 10:04SPEAKER_01: If you were in the Crystal Glenn Karen Club, you've had a taste of these before.
- 10:09SPEAKER_01: We do the tastings, and that's what happens at those tastings.
- 10:13SPEAKER_01: You're gonna get some of the best bourbons that I taste throughout the year.
- 10:17SPEAKER_01: So yes, yes, supernatural.
- 10:22SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you didn't know.
- 10:24SPEAKER_01: I'm sorry.
- 10:24SPEAKER_01: You had an invitation.
- 10:26SPEAKER_01: Everybody had an invitation.
- 10:27SPEAKER_01: If you can't make it, it's like the bur you gotta come to the bourbon.
- 10:31SPEAKER_03: Hey, yeah, let's not live in the past.
- 10:32SPEAKER_03: Let's move on to the future.
- 10:33SPEAKER_03: Well, but you're in growing then.
- 10:37SPEAKER_03: All I gotta say is you're leaving me to drink.
- 10:40SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 10:41SPEAKER_03: Him?
- 10:41SPEAKER_03: Hold on, I'm with you, Rowan.
- 10:43SPEAKER_03: I need to buy it.
- 10:44SPEAKER_01: How is he with him?
- 10:45SPEAKER_01: You're the one that's doing it.
- 10:47unknown: That's the funny part.
- 10:48SPEAKER_01: I didn't do shit.
- 10:49SPEAKER_01: That's pretty funny.
- 10:50SPEAKER_01: Is there butter pretzels on the table?
- 10:52SPEAKER_01: What are you doing?
- 10:52SPEAKER_01: Why are you turning?
- 10:53SPEAKER_01: Why are you turning it?
- 10:54SPEAKER_01: Yeah, Matt, Matt puts a hit my chair.
- 10:56SPEAKER_01: Matt puts a little chair.
- 10:58SPEAKER_01: Matt puts a what would you call peanut butter pretzel?
- 11:01SPEAKER_01: I mean, he's favorite thing.
- 11:04SPEAKER_01: We we did a tasting and pairing that night that that really kind of my favorite was.
- 11:10SPEAKER_01: I thought for sure Matt would know what it was, but we did this.
- 11:14SPEAKER_01: We did a Red Bull where you suck down some Red Bull and then you drank the bourbon.
- 11:19SPEAKER_01: And I thought for sure Matt would know because this is this dude.
- 11:22SPEAKER_01: Every time I see him, he's got a Red Bull.
- 11:25SPEAKER_01: It was like in a little pink, it was like in a little pink cup.
- 11:28SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, that should make it sound, that should make that bourbon taste familiar to you.
- 11:32SPEAKER_01: And he's like, Nope, nope, he had no idea.
- 11:35SPEAKER_01: All right, so we are on the first one.
- 11:38SPEAKER_01: Okay, so so listen, right to left.
- 11:41SPEAKER_01: You set each one down right to left.
- 11:43SPEAKER_03: Right to the left.
- 11:44SPEAKER_03: Why don't we just do one and then do the next one?
- 11:46SPEAKER_01: Yes, we're gonna do one, but we set them down right to left, and then we're gonna rate each one right to left how we do, and then we're gonna add up the scores.
- 11:55SPEAKER_01: And I'm gonna and we're gonna write them down.
- 11:57SPEAKER_01: Everyone has a color, so you go off the color either.
- 11:59SPEAKER_01: We're gonna write down the scores.
- 12:46SPEAKER_01: The color doesn't.
- 12:47SPEAKER_06: Yeah, we we put I sticker down the score.
- 12:50SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you got this color, but that tells us what they are when we do it.
- 12:53SPEAKER_01: But this will be what we score that.
- 12:56SPEAKER_00: You score on the colour.
- 13:00SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but if everybody okay, you do it on the phone.
- 13:02SPEAKER_01: Okay, she's she's she has taken the next step over Super Nash.
- 13:07SPEAKER_01: She's one of the floats.
- 13:09SPEAKER_04: That's why we bring her in.
- 13:11SPEAKER_04: She brings tech over, over, you know.
- 13:14SPEAKER_04: Tech and beauty over us.
- 13:17SPEAKER_01: Greetings from Missouri.
- 13:19SPEAKER_02: All right.
- 13:21SPEAKER_02: Bottle number one.
- 13:22SPEAKER_02: We have no idea what it is.
- 13:24SPEAKER_01: Knob Creek 21 looks amazing.
- 13:26SPEAKER_01: It is amazing.
- 13:27SPEAKER_01: It looks like Knob Creek 9.
- 13:30SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's too large for Knob Creek 21.
- 13:33SPEAKER_00: But it looks like 9.
- 13:34SPEAKER_00: I mean it's the same bottle.
- 13:35SPEAKER_01: I have no idea.
- 13:36SPEAKER_01: To be honest, to be honest, it is what it is.
- 13:38SPEAKER_01: There's a cola note on this.
- 13:40SPEAKER_01: I just get cola right off the bat.
- 13:43SPEAKER_04: Can I tell you what it is right off the bat?
- 13:45unknown: No!
- 13:46SPEAKER_04: Sweaty balls.
- 13:50SPEAKER_04: Yeah, uh if anybody hasn't signed up yet.
- 13:59SPEAKER_04: Bringing it back to shoot.
- 14:00SPEAKER_01: No, that's right.
- 14:01SPEAKER_01: W.nash's sweaty balls.

- 14:07SPEAKER_01: I I got in trouble with uh status after.
- 14:10SPEAKER_03: I know when it's not.
- 14:12SPEAKER_03: But I'm not sure what it is.
- 14:14SPEAKER_01: Don't try to tell what it is.
- 14:15SPEAKER_01: Just tell what you like.
- 14:17SPEAKER_03: Keep it to yourself, fool.
- 14:19SPEAKER_03: So I just keep it to myself until after I've tasted it off.
- 14:22SPEAKER_01: I like the cola smell, I have to admit.
- 14:25SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 14:26SPEAKER_01: You like the colon smell?
- 14:29SPEAKER_01: Cherry cola is like.
- 14:30SPEAKER_01: Alright.
- 14:32SPEAKER_02: You got a little cherry in it.
- 14:33SPEAKER_01: I got a little cherry.
- 14:34SPEAKER_01: That's pretty good.
- 14:35SPEAKER_01: That's a pretty good whiskey.
- 14:37SPEAKER_01: It's good.
- 14:39SPEAKER_01: I agree.
- 14:42SPEAKER_01: I mean, it could, if I was to say something, it's like, it's like Nash is an old man.
- 14:47SPEAKER_01: So it's old man winter sweaty balls.
- 14:52SPEAKER_01: I thought we were not gonna say what it was.
- 14:55SPEAKER_01: Middle.
- 14:56SPEAKER_01: I was saying it's your sweaty balls.
- 14:58SPEAKER_00: Are you trying to say high West tastes like sweaty balls?
- 15:01SPEAKER_01: Oh no.
- 15:03SPEAKER_01: Why is this not amusing whiskey?
- 15:05SPEAKER_01: I mean, this is right up your right up your.
- 15:07SPEAKER_03: This is actually really not funny.

- 15:13SPEAKER_01: Let him get primed, yeah.
- 15:15SPEAKER_01: He's not primed yet.
- 15:16SPEAKER_01: He's only had one sip of whiskey.
- 15:18SPEAKER_03: No, that's not true.
- 15:19SPEAKER_03: I had several before.
- 15:20SPEAKER_01: Oh, it only takes a few more.

- 16:13SPEAKER_01: Yep.
- 16:13SPEAKER_00: And you know there's still one in Massachusetts.
- 16:16SPEAKER_01: They're actually making a thing to come back for Mexican lessons.
- 16:22SPEAKER_00: And God nine million other Mexican restaurants on the world.
- 16:26SPEAKER_01: Oh my god, if I had a chance to go to Chi Chi's again, I would go and you would be disappointed because the Mexican restaurants we have today are so much better than they are.
- 16:37SPEAKER_02: Yeah, absolutely.
- 16:38SPEAKER_02: So much better.
- 16:38SPEAKER_02: They're just so we just was so blind.
- 16:41SPEAKER_00: It was good in them because we didn't have anything else.
- 16:44SPEAKER_00: It was Taco Bell and Chi Chi's.
- 16:46SPEAKER_03: It was the upgraded electricity.
- 16:47SPEAKER_03: I will say there is an old there's still a normal road.
- 16:50SPEAKER_01: There's three things in Chi Chi's that I kills anything that I've tasted in today's.
- 16:54SPEAKER_01: They had like this tamale kind of thing with the little cilantro and whatever, and I would I love that with all the cheese on top.
- 17:05SPEAKER_04: What happens is when you marry.
- 17:08SPEAKER_01: I married an Italian.
- 17:10SPEAKER_04: I married an Indian that lived in California that her mother taught her how to make oh my gosh, fresh homemade Mexican.
- 17:21SPEAKER_04: I mean, on that, that's pretty good.
- 17:23SPEAKER_02: I think I know what you go to restaurants, so you get disappointed.
- 17:26SPEAKER_01: Yeah?
- 17:27SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 17:28SPEAKER_01: Are we ready, Roxy?
- 17:29SPEAKER_01: Uh huh.

- 17:33SPEAKER_01: Next round.
- 17:34SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's easy.
- 17:36SPEAKER_01: It's light though.
- 17:37SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 17:38SPEAKER_03: This 21 killed 18.
- 17:40SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 17:40SPEAKER_03: Light.
- 17:41SPEAKER_00: Oh, and the peanut is like you can't avoid the peanut.
- 17:45SPEAKER_00: It's all peanut.
- 17:46SPEAKER_00: Yeah, especially after our booker's taste.
- 17:49SPEAKER_03: It's like no, it's all right.
- 17:54SPEAKER_03: That's my job.
- 17:57SPEAKER_03: It didn't suck, it didn't suck all the damn moisture out of your mouth.
- 18:01SPEAKER_03: Like a leather glove or something.
- 18:04SPEAKER_03: Man, what's up with you in leather and gloves and stuff?
- 18:07SPEAKER_03: You're bringing up all the time there.
- 18:10SPEAKER_01: So my favorite thing is I just got I just got a hey, listen, on Facebook.
- 18:16SPEAKER_01: On Facebook, on Facebook just now.
- 18:19SPEAKER_01: Somebody said the woman is because we are we are in India right now at their perfect time.
- 18:25SPEAKER_01: The woman is piping off to us much.
- 18:28SPEAKER_01: Ask her to leave.
- 18:29SPEAKER_06: She hasn't said my comments to myself.
- 18:38SPEAKER_06: And guess what?
- 18:39SPEAKER_06: Now I'm gonna pipe up even more.
- 18:42SPEAKER_01: You piper.
- 18:43SPEAKER_01: Now it now it's like the messages are going off to the I got an artificial blend.
- 18:49SPEAKER_00: Oh it's not even fair.
- 18:51SPEAKER_00: Look at the oblong shape.
- 18:53SPEAKER_06: It's all blue.
- 18:53SPEAKER_00: Oh, you can look at it.
- 18:57SPEAKER_03: It goes sideways, yeah.
- 18:58SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's the bus tour glends.
- 19:00SPEAKER_01: I got one.
- 19:00SPEAKER_01: That's the one I use on the side all the time.
- 19:03SPEAKER_01: My nose is tight.
- 19:05SPEAKER_02: Did I keep that artificial blend just for that purpose?
- 19:09SPEAKER_02: Oh, I would.
- 19:10SPEAKER_02: Don't worry.
- 19:11SPEAKER_03: So outside of all the leather and baseball comments, I know you're competitive, CT.
- 19:15SPEAKER_03: You needed a little bit more of a challenge.
- 19:18SPEAKER_03: Great finish on three.
- 19:19SPEAKER_07: Yeah.
- 19:20SPEAKER_02: Oh, I know what that is.
- 19:22SPEAKER_02: 100%.
- 19:23SPEAKER_02: That finish is two of the three figured out.
- 19:30SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you do.
- 19:33SPEAKER_01: It's like it's like blinds humble people.
- 19:37SPEAKER_02: Alright, bring on the next one.
- 19:43SPEAKER_01: Oh, we can't get the scope spent.
- 19:46SPEAKER_02: Three just hits.
- 19:47SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 19:48SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 19:48SPEAKER_01: Three is pretty damn good.
- 19:50SPEAKER_01: I know what it is.
- 19:50SPEAKER_02: Oh.
- 19:51SPEAKER_02: So we got a front runner right now.
- 19:53SPEAKER_02: Oh there's a there's a difference in three.
- 19:56SPEAKER_02: I mean, not saying that it's the best, but it's different.
- 19:59SPEAKER_06: No, three is by far the best so far.
- 20:01SPEAKER_01: It's no four just goes to level of insanity.
- 20:07SPEAKER_06: Oh, four has a nice note.
- 20:09SPEAKER_01: Four.
- 20:10SPEAKER_01: You could say four or the F word.
- 20:13SPEAKER_02: Four.
- 20:14SPEAKER_02: Four's got a light.
- 20:15SPEAKER_02: Oh, it's so good.
- 20:17SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 20:18SPEAKER_02: That's like a super sweet vanilla, like dessert no.
- 20:22SPEAKER_02: I still have a half a bottle and that.
- 20:24SPEAKER_03: Can I ask the question?
- 20:25SPEAKER_03: Oh, you probably don't know.
- 20:27SPEAKER_03: No!
- 20:27SPEAKER_06: Why are you yelling at everybody?
- 20:29SPEAKER_03: Yeah, seriously.
- 20:30SPEAKER_03: What's the proof on the middle?
- 20:31SPEAKER_06: Wait, yell at me.
- 20:32SPEAKER_06: That Indian guy would like to.
- 20:34SPEAKER_00: They're telling the lady to put it down.
- 20:37SPEAKER_04: What's the proof on the middle?
- 20:39SPEAKER_04: What's the proof on the middle?
- 20:40SPEAKER_01: Maybe they think I'm a lady.
- 20:42SPEAKER_01: Maybe they're talking about it.
- 20:43SPEAKER_04: This is an you know, it's irrelevant but irrelevant to tasting.
- 20:47SPEAKER_04: I think this.
- 20:47SPEAKER_04: I need to know the proof on the mid-winter's night drum.
- 20:50SPEAKER_04: Well, I with mid- Okay, yeah, I'll give you that.
- 20:54SPEAKER_00: Actually, just give them a hat.
- 20:55SPEAKER_00: A couple of years ago, I could have told you that.
- 20:56SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah, yeah.
- 20:57SPEAKER_00: That'll work.
- 20:58SPEAKER_00: Now I need readers too.
- 21:00SPEAKER_00: But 48 point.
- 21:02SPEAKER_00: It's super fruity on the palette.
- 21:05SPEAKER_00: It's like juicy fruit.
- 21:06SPEAKER_00: 48 point.
- 21:07SPEAKER_00: Look at what I'm saying.
- 21:09SPEAKER_07: It's super fruity.
- 21:10SPEAKER_03: Or 97.
- 21:10SPEAKER_03: 97.
- 21:11SPEAKER_02: Very fruity.
- 21:12SPEAKER_02: Like what state it would act.
- 21:16SPEAKER_01: Whatever came out this year, because it's a good thing.
- 21:18SPEAKER_01: You know what proof that is?
- 21:19SPEAKER_01: Quasimogam.
- 21:21SPEAKER_02: Four doesn't match the palette.
- 21:23SPEAKER_06: It tastes like um.
- 21:26SPEAKER_01: Quasimogam.
- 21:27SPEAKER_06: No, it's like Kiwis.
- 21:30SPEAKER_06: It's totally fruit.
- 21:31SPEAKER_01: It tastes like the hunchback of Notre Dame.
- 21:35SPEAKER_01: It's earlier this year.
- 21:36SPEAKER_03: It's earlier this year.
- 21:37SPEAKER_03: Yeah, because I got it in the city.
- 21:38SPEAKER_01: I tasted something that was phenomenal.
- 21:41SPEAKER_05: It sweet, the finger sweetens up.
- 21:44SPEAKER_05: It mellows out on the finisher right now.
- 21:45SPEAKER_03: You just saw and they just got out there.
- 21:54SPEAKER_01: Whatever's in this bottle, you get the definition.
- 21:58SPEAKER_01: And there's like a little chocolate.
- 22:00SPEAKER_01: Whatever's this bottle in four is I'll chug.
- 22:03SPEAKER_01: I agree.
- 22:04SPEAKER_01: The whole bottle.
- 22:06SPEAKER_01: What proof is the ride kind of cathedral, yeah.
- 22:12SPEAKER_02: 102?
- 22:13SPEAKER_02: 110.
- 22:14SPEAKER_02: Oh, it's 110?
- 22:16SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that's probably that bottle.
- 22:18SPEAKER_02: I'm going with four.
- 22:19SPEAKER_02: I'm going quasi-motified.
- 22:23SPEAKER_05: Like a smoke.
- 22:25SPEAKER_05: There's a smoke.
- 22:26SPEAKER_05: It finishes with.
- 22:27SPEAKER_01: That's what happens when you make a barrel that uses 300-year-old oak and then you char it and put it in as a finishing barrel.
- 22:36SPEAKER_00: Okay, so we're are we just gonna go ahead and say four is cathedral?
- 22:39SPEAKER_01: No, we're not.
- 22:39SPEAKER_01: Let's we've got to taste five.
- 22:41SPEAKER_01: I'm I'm I'm already in the barbicover.
- 22:44SPEAKER_01: No, four is quasi-mobile.
- 22:49SPEAKER_06: How would you know what's under there?
- 22:51SPEAKER_02: Walter, do we have two more?
- 22:54SPEAKER_01: Oh, he's mixing them up.
- 22:56SPEAKER_01: Walker, you're wait, that's mine.
- 22:58SPEAKER_01: One of the many from it right now.
- 23:07SPEAKER_01: Sharing his hands.
- 23:08SPEAKER_07: I have no idea.
- 23:10SPEAKER_01: That's that's his.
- 23:18SPEAKER_06: I've never tasted.
- 23:18SPEAKER_06: Well, none of us did, right?
- 23:19SPEAKER_06: Just remember.
- 23:21SPEAKER_00: Okay, out of all of them.
- 23:22SPEAKER_02: I had old man winner there, but what's old man winner proof?
- 23:29SPEAKER_05: Ooh, that's nice.
- 23:31SPEAKER_01: The nose on this that's the best nose.
- 23:33SPEAKER_01: This nose hits.
- 23:34SPEAKER_01: I uh I think it tastes a little better out of 100.
- 23:38SPEAKER_01: Oh god, and nine point.
- 23:43SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that I think I think I just switched.
- 23:46SPEAKER_06: Wait, can we pump that through the furnace?
- 23:49SPEAKER_06: Can we pump that through the furnace?
- 23:51SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 23:51SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 23:55SPEAKER_01: Actually, I just want to dip my nuts in there so it gets a little case of hands.
- 23:59SPEAKER_01: That's how you get you wanna basically dip your nuts in there so that uh Sheila smells on a warmer like spurbing instead of burning, burning the more.
- 24:10SPEAKER_06: Holy shit, that's good.
- 24:11SPEAKER_06: Oh, I know what that is.
- 24:12SPEAKER_01: And you don't make her just take all of it in.
- 24:16SPEAKER_01: I'm going with that's old man.
- 24:18SPEAKER_01: I'm going with the last one.
- 24:21SPEAKER_01: So the way this is gonna work.
- 24:24SPEAKER_01: Now I gotta go back through them.
- 24:26SPEAKER_01: No, no, no, no.
- 24:27SPEAKER_01: So you gotta rate them, keep them right to left.
- 24:30SPEAKER_01: It's two shitty glasses.
- 24:32SPEAKER_01: What's that proof on old man one?
- 24:34SPEAKER_01: I already said 109.8.
- 24:36SPEAKER_01: Ooh, I gotta eliminate 110.
- 24:38SPEAKER_01: What these are all like sitting right at the same place except for you didn't ask for the 13 to 87, the 97.
- 24:48SPEAKER_01: How much is that on the 13?
- 24:49SPEAKER_01: It's that's one twenty.
- 24:51SPEAKER_04: That's 127.
- 24:53SPEAKER_04: Just a rich eight, I believe.
- 24:54SPEAKER_02: Rich.
- 24:55SPEAKER_02: Alright, these are my two.
- 24:56SPEAKER_02: Yeah, the back six is is.
- 24:57SPEAKER_06: I gotta decide what's my number two.
- 24:59SPEAKER_06: Don't switch them around.
- 25:00SPEAKER_00: No, I'm not.
- 25:01SPEAKER_00: I got them in.
- 25:02SPEAKER_00: Why are you yelling at me?
- 25:06SPEAKER_06: I put them in the order I think they are.
- 25:08SPEAKER_06: I already switched them around.
- 25:10SPEAKER_01: Put them in order.
- 25:14SPEAKER_01: The color coding is not the number.
- 25:17SPEAKER_01: I get it.
- 25:19SPEAKER_01: What?
- 25:19SPEAKER_01: Two nose.
- 25:20SPEAKER_01: This one?
- 25:21SPEAKER_01: It's like brown.
- 25:23SPEAKER_01: Are you saying red is insane?
- 25:26SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 25:26SPEAKER_01: The nose.
- 25:27SPEAKER_02: That's how you do it.
- 25:30SPEAKER_02: That is definitely brown sugar.
- 25:33SPEAKER_02: I don't like the nose of red at all.
- 25:36SPEAKER_01: You're you.
- 25:37SPEAKER_01: Number two.
- 25:39SPEAKER_01: So I love the blue nose.
- 25:42SPEAKER_06: No, blue nose is amazing.
- 25:44SPEAKER_01: The green and the I like two a lot.
- 25:48SPEAKER_02: Five is fucking with me though.
- 25:50SPEAKER_02: And the nose on two is messing with me because I'm so.
- 25:54SPEAKER_06: None of them are really black.
- 25:56SPEAKER_01: I mean, I got my order.
- 25:57SPEAKER_01: Three is Russell's reserve.
- 25:58SPEAKER_04: And that's like a sponge from the from the room.
- 26:03SPEAKER_01: Oh my god, three is blue.
- 26:05SPEAKER_01: Russell reserve right there.
- 26:07unknown: On number two.
- 26:08SPEAKER_01: Hey, where's Walker?
- 26:13SPEAKER_02: He just had an X Savage.
- 26:17SPEAKER_02: There is no way.
- 26:18SPEAKER_02: Hold on.
- 26:18SPEAKER_02: There is no way three is Russell's the first time.
- 26:20SPEAKER_01: TMI.
- 26:21SPEAKER_00: What do you mean?
- 26:22SPEAKER_01: I don't need to know.
- 26:24SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but he's in the bathroom, so he's exiting the extra.
- 26:29SPEAKER_01: Can he cook it upstairs on my stove?
- 26:31SPEAKER_01: No, there came out of this bag right here.
- 26:35SPEAKER_03: Oh my god, that nose the nose on one is starting to open up for me.
- 26:40SPEAKER_01: Oh my god, it's also you should only get one time.
- 26:44SPEAKER_06: Instead of like doing each one, every single element, what if we like.
- 26:51SPEAKER_02: As you drink them, you should push the top one up and then load them.
- 26:53SPEAKER_01: You gotta rate them.
- 26:55SPEAKER_01: Tried and then all you have.
- 26:57SPEAKER_01: And then as you go, so put them in your order.
- 26:59SPEAKER_01: Okay, so so you put them in order, what you think is the best to worst.
- 27:03SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 27:04SPEAKER_01: Then you call out the blue, and if it if it's the lowest number, we'll win.
- 27:09SPEAKER_01: There's five of us.
- 27:10SPEAKER_01: The lowest it could get is five ones.
- 27:13SPEAKER_06: Oh, I see.
- 27:14SPEAKER_01: Then then we'll add.
- 27:17SPEAKER_01: And then you get a seven eight.
- 27:19SPEAKER_01: Or I could get it a three point five because it's tied between well, this would be if there's five.
- 27:26SPEAKER_01: We saw how there's five.
- 27:28SPEAKER_01: I could give it a one point five.
- 27:31SPEAKER_06: Okay, so your number one gets five points, four points, no, number one gets one point.
- 27:36SPEAKER_06: One point?
- 27:37SPEAKER_01: Two gets two points, three, and then you're going for the lowest number.
- 27:40SPEAKER_06: Oh, okay.
- 27:42SPEAKER_06: We could do it the opposite way and go for the highest number, but sure.
- 27:44SPEAKER_01: What are we doing?
- 27:45SPEAKER_01: That would that would Why are you yelling?
- 27:48SPEAKER_06: Always yells at me.
- 27:49SPEAKER_06: Didn't mean I would like this.
- 27:52SPEAKER_01: So are we gonna do we rank the number one five?
- 27:55SPEAKER_01: Or do we number one is one?
- 27:59SPEAKER_01: Thank you.
- 27:59SPEAKER_01: So one is one, two is two, three is three.
- 28:01SPEAKER_06: So I'm gonna what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna put the piece books.
- 28:05SPEAKER_06: They got colors on the balls.
- 28:08SPEAKER_01: So did the egg salad sandwich come out?
- 28:12unknown: It comes in bowls.
- 28:13SPEAKER_01: So I'm gonna put all the colors.
- 28:18SPEAKER_02: You smell that raisin on one?
- 28:19SPEAKER_06: It's got a weird nose.
- 28:20SPEAKER_02: It's like it's one or you on the one.
- 28:24SPEAKER_06: That's one.
- 28:24SPEAKER_03: I love to eat a good muffin.
- 28:27SPEAKER_06: One speed right.
- 28:29SPEAKER_06: No, this is the first one we tasted.
- 28:30SPEAKER_06: Okay, I say muffin as small as this one.
- 28:32SPEAKER_06: Yeah, we're gonna be able to do that.
- 28:34SPEAKER_06: Yeah, because that's just how my brain works.
- 28:35SPEAKER_06: Okay.
- 28:36SPEAKER_00: Are you left-handed?
- 28:38SPEAKER_06: Jeff thinks I am, but I actually write right.
- 28:40SPEAKER_00: No, she's I'm frightening left.
- 28:42SPEAKER_07: I do everything left-handed like I'm gonna do it.
- 28:44SPEAKER_06: I do all my things like this.
- 28:45SPEAKER_06: See, I've seen this happen before it's a good thing.
- 28:47SPEAKER_00: But yeah, there's a raisin nose too.
- 28:50SPEAKER_01: I'm left-handed.
- 28:53SPEAKER_01: Isn't that weird?
- 28:54SPEAKER_01: Sure, I'm gonna be able to do it.
- 28:56SPEAKER_01: Well, that breeds the right-hand free for himself.
- 28:58SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 28:59SPEAKER_01: Sometimes it's needed.
- 29:04SPEAKER_01: He's fantastic.
- 29:07unknown: But it is if I had a D.
- 29:09SPEAKER_01: I just so those two are in a level.
- 29:14SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 29:15SPEAKER_06: So since the colors on the bottom, then you can just Yeah, I'm doing I'm tallying up color.
- 29:22SPEAKER_06: I'm gonna tally up colors right here.
- 29:27SPEAKER_01: There's the stuff.
- 29:28SPEAKER_00: No, there we go.
- 29:30SPEAKER_00: Two is freaking Russell's, man.
- 29:31SPEAKER_00: I'm telling you.
- 29:32SPEAKER_03: I'm telling you, three is not.
- 29:34SPEAKER_03: It's it's 21.
- 29:37SPEAKER_03: Two is old man winner.
- 29:38SPEAKER_06: Two smells to me.
- 29:40SPEAKER_06: Two is like it's either old man winner or mid summer night's ground.
- 29:46SPEAKER_07: It's because two cigar to me.
- 29:49SPEAKER_07: It's not like a few.
- 29:57SPEAKER_00: Three is knob.
- 29:59SPEAKER_00: For me, three is knob because it dries out so fast.
- 30:03SPEAKER_00: So what maybe your truth is one other.
- 30:05SPEAKER_06: No, I know I'm just saying.
- 30:08SPEAKER_01: This is way harder than the bookers.
- 30:09SPEAKER_01: No, way harder.
- 30:11SPEAKER_06: I agree.
- 30:12SPEAKER_01: Bookers were like so paper thin of a difference.
- 30:15SPEAKER_01: And it was like, okay, if that did that, if that this is like so much difference between that.
- 30:21SPEAKER_01: There wasn't no can we all agree that there's not one bad one here?
- 30:25SPEAKER_01: No, these are all fantastic.
- 30:27SPEAKER_06: There's one that I think kind of is one that I think.
- 30:30SPEAKER_06: Well, you tell us.
- 30:31SPEAKER_04: I would just like to say that I think I should have had a Gusta 13 put in there too.
- 30:37SPEAKER_04: Wild card.
- 30:38SPEAKER_00: Wow, where is that?
- 30:39SPEAKER_01: Okay, Walker.
- 30:41SPEAKER_01: Now we're bringing in the wild card, bro.
- 30:43SPEAKER_06: We have to do our own.
- 30:44SPEAKER_01: Walker, Walker could bring in a wild wild card.
- 30:46SPEAKER_01: Do you want to bring in a wild gusta 13?
- 30:50SPEAKER_02: What?
- 30:50SPEAKER_02: You know what I would add it?
- 30:51SPEAKER_02: It's fun.
- 30:52SPEAKER_01: It's fun.
- 30:52SPEAKER_01: We're gonna do a wild card.
- 30:55SPEAKER_01: Walker, that Augusta 13 open it and pour five more pores.
- 30:59SPEAKER_02: It's good.
- 30:59SPEAKER_01: And bring you, you know where the hey John, go get the glance out my back.
- 31:03SPEAKER_02: 13 was really good.
- 31:04SPEAKER_01: Yeah, in that back room, they're up against the wall by the self parking.
- 31:09SPEAKER_01: I think four is a bunch of those those are the ones for this.
- 31:13SPEAKER_01: Those are like displayed.
- 31:16SPEAKER_01: Then I'd have to wash them all.
- 31:17SPEAKER_01: I've never told you.
- 31:19SPEAKER_01: I think that's because it's sweeter.
- 31:20SPEAKER_01: Just a few.
- 31:21SPEAKER_01: I think five is a really good one.
- 31:26SPEAKER_01: That's a 13, right?
- 31:27SPEAKER_01: You don't have to blind it.
- 31:28SPEAKER_01: Is the 13 open?
- 31:30SPEAKER_01: That's midnight winter drain.
- 31:32SPEAKER_01: That's Russell's.
- 31:33SPEAKER_01: That's 21.
- 31:35SPEAKER_03: And that is the I did not know it was open.
- 31:40SPEAKER_01: Cool.
- 31:40SPEAKER_01: Midnight winter drain.
- 31:42SPEAKER_01: Like midnight winter drain.
- 31:44SPEAKER_06: I think one and two are either midnight's winter or Omega did it.
- 31:50SPEAKER_01: It was up there.
- 31:51SPEAKER_01: It didn't make it.
- 31:52SPEAKER_01: And three is too spicy for me.
- 31:54SPEAKER_00: Old man winters.
- 31:56SPEAKER_01: I got too much oak for it to be in.
- 31:59SPEAKER_01: I like it, but I'm just bourbon of the year.

- 47:33SPEAKER_03: You just said left to right.
- 47:35SPEAKER_03: So green one.
- 47:36SPEAKER_03: Yeah, because you just did left to right.
- 47:39SPEAKER_03: Yeah, but what she was asking my number three.

- 48:22SPEAKER_06: Change mine to one.
- 48:23SPEAKER_06: Green had one number five, two threes, and two ones.
- 48:27SPEAKER_01: Okay, mine was a one.
- 48:30SPEAKER_06: Gold had a four, a three, a two, and two ones.
- 48:34SPEAKER_06: So according to like the lowness of the numbers, technically gold had the least of the points that were.
- 48:43SPEAKER_01: Are you still counting me by a five?
- 48:46SPEAKER_06: Somebody gave green a five.
- 48:48SPEAKER_01: I did not give green a five.
- 48:50SPEAKER_01: It's over.
- 48:51SPEAKER_01: I gave gold a five.
- 48:52SPEAKER_01: It's written down.
- 48:53SPEAKER_06: You gave gold a five.
- 48:55SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 48:55SPEAKER_06: And you're no longer.

- 48:58SPEAKER_01: My gold was a one.
- 48:59SPEAKER_01: Which is pick a one.
- 49:03SPEAKER_01: My green's a one.
- 49:06SPEAKER_01: Your gold was a one.
- 49:07SPEAKER_06: My gold was a one, so you switched yours around.
- 49:10SPEAKER_06: I didn't switch shit.
- 49:13SPEAKER_01: This is still the same thing.
- 49:15SPEAKER_01: I didn't switch a five with the one.
- 49:18SPEAKER_01: Somebody get this one.
- 49:19SPEAKER_06: Somebody gave green.
- 49:21SPEAKER_01: Somebody get this man a quick with it.
- 49:23SPEAKER_01: No.
- 49:24SPEAKER_01: No, watch this.
- 49:24SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna start snorting the green.
- 49:28SPEAKER_06: Somebody gave green a five.
- 49:30SPEAKER_01: No.
- 49:31SPEAKER_06: And it's on the recorder.
- 49:32SPEAKER_06: We can go back and watch it.
- 49:33SPEAKER_01: Oh yeah.
- 49:34SPEAKER_06: Somebody!
- 49:37SPEAKER_04: Let's go back to the tape.
- 49:42SPEAKER_01: Somebody's gotta go on their phone and I'm gonna try the red flag.
- 49:50SPEAKER_04: Perfect way.
- 49:54SPEAKER_00: You and I both had three.
- 49:55SPEAKER_00: Mine still had.
- 49:57SPEAKER_00: Is this a green?
- 49:58SPEAKER_06: Yeah, you did.
- 49:58SPEAKER_06: That's a green.
- 49:59SPEAKER_06: And is this a blue?
- 50:01SPEAKER_06: I got blue.
- 50:01SPEAKER_06: That's a blue.
- 50:02SPEAKER_01: I put blue as five.
- 50:04SPEAKER_01: And what was.
- 50:05SPEAKER_06: Yeah, okay, so blue, five, and then there was a green five, a yellow five, and a red.
- 50:11SPEAKER_06: This is the order of our first points.
- 50:13SPEAKER_06: Gold four.
- 50:14SPEAKER_06: Somebody gave gold a four.
- 50:15SPEAKER_01: I did not.
- 50:16SPEAKER_06: Somebody gave blue a five, green a five, yellow a five, and red a four.
- 50:21SPEAKER_06: That's the that was the the you know.
- 50:23SPEAKER_02: I gave blue a five.

- 50:28SPEAKER_02: There's my red.
- 50:29SPEAKER_02: I think you did.
- 50:29SPEAKER_02: How did we screw this?
- 50:30SPEAKER_02: I like red.
- 50:31SPEAKER_02: What was it?
- 50:32SPEAKER_02: We did all 21.
- 50:34SPEAKER_03: All right.
- 50:35SPEAKER_04: She read them.
- 50:36SPEAKER_03: Honestly, I almost put it in as my bourbon of the year.
- 50:39SPEAKER_03: So they got an average rate.
- 50:41SPEAKER_06: And then you have one that's a good one.
- 50:42SPEAKER_06: So gold got a 13.
- 50:43SPEAKER_06: Talk about multiple.
- 50:44SPEAKER_06: And green got a 13.
- 50:45SPEAKER_01: So gold is the so you're saying gold.
- 50:47SPEAKER_06: Gold got a four, a three, a two, and two ones.
- 50:50SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 50:51SPEAKER_01: And because it got two ones and green didn't get two ones, it only got one?
- 50:55SPEAKER_06: Green got a five, a three, a three, and two ones.
- 50:59SPEAKER_01: And I gave it two ones.
- 51:01SPEAKER_01: I gave it a one.
- 51:02SPEAKER_01: Who else gave the who else gave the green a one?
- 51:06SPEAKER_01: Me and him gave it a green, the two ones.
- 51:08SPEAKER_04: It doesn't matter kind of.
- 51:10SPEAKER_02: Martin and I gave both a one.
- 51:12SPEAKER_02: Pick the bottle of the year.

- 51:15SPEAKER_01: It's got to be a few.
- 51:17SPEAKER_01: You're gonna have to blind the two based off what you're saying.
- 51:20SPEAKER_06: No, they're so different, you can easily tell which one is which.
- 51:23SPEAKER_01: Uh no, I disagree.
- 51:24SPEAKER_06: I guess what you want to make.
- 51:27SPEAKER_02: Let's there's three of us already picking out a five.
- 51:31SPEAKER_02: Three out of five.
- 51:32SPEAKER_02: Pick the green.
- 51:33SPEAKER_02: Yeah, three out of five or pick old man winners.
- 51:35SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's that wins.
- 51:37SPEAKER_01: That wins.
- 51:37SPEAKER_01: Why did no?
- 51:38SPEAKER_01: There's only two ones.
- 51:39SPEAKER_01: And there's two greens.
- 51:40SPEAKER_04: There's three of us.
- 51:41SPEAKER_04: The two ones is the ones that ain't picking it.

- 55:51SPEAKER_01: That one was the 200, but this was that 160.
- 55:55SPEAKER_01: I went with this.
- 55:56SPEAKER_01: So let's talk about the two most expensive bottles on the on the counter that ended up in two and three.
- 56:02SPEAKER_01: Because the Russell's was$199.
- 56:05SPEAKER_01: Yep, and this one right here, I have no idea, but this was what,$229?
- 56:10SPEAKER_00: $299.
- 56:11SPEAKER_01: $229.
- 56:12SPEAKER_01: This was even more.
- 56:13SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so two months the dental bottles on the counter.
- 56:17SPEAKER_01: Well, Cathedral's the most expensive.
- 56:19SPEAKER_00: No, it is not.
- 56:19SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah, it was.
- 56:21SPEAKER_01: It's a$750 and it was like it was like$279.
- 56:25SPEAKER_01: For seven.
- 56:26SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's like$600 some dollars for yeah, it was expensive.
- 56:30SPEAKER_03: Secondary.
- 56:30unknown: Yeah.
- 56:31SPEAKER_01: No.
- 56:31SPEAKER_03: No, uh at the at the festival.
- 56:34SPEAKER_03: At the festival.
- 56:34SPEAKER_03: It was$279.
- 56:35SPEAKER_03: I thought I thought retail was pretty high, but I didn't get a bottom.
- 56:38SPEAKER_01: I'm telling you that this was worth it.
- 56:40SPEAKER_01: We just vote these are what number we like the best.
- 56:44SPEAKER_06: No, just tell me what you just tell me which ones you like best.
- 56:46SPEAKER_06: Red or blue.
- 56:47SPEAKER_06: Which one do you like?
- 56:49SPEAKER_06: Red or blue?
- 56:50SPEAKER_07: Red.
- 56:51SPEAKER_06: Red walker.
- 56:54SPEAKER_06: Fine.
- 56:54SPEAKER_06: Anybody who can.
- 56:55SPEAKER_03: Don't be asking for another poor walker.
- 56:57SPEAKER_03: It's like this is awesome.
- 56:59SPEAKER_01: We can't decide, so our our awesome support is deciding to take it to the we're we're we're putting in three more people.
- 57:08SPEAKER_03: And you know what?
- 57:09SPEAKER_03: That was a really nice inside voice, and I just want to recognize you for that.
- 57:12SPEAKER_03: I finally didn't start yelling.
- 57:14SPEAKER_03: What what changed you?
- 57:16SPEAKER_03: Thank you, Carl, for recognizing him as having a love CT.
- 57:21SPEAKER_03: What?
- 57:22SPEAKER_03: Thank you.
- 57:24SPEAKER_03: I don't want to have an answer.
- 57:26SPEAKER_01: Oh, no, no, it's okay.
- 57:28SPEAKER_00: If I didn't tell her what I gave my numbers, I don't see it.
- 57:31SPEAKER_01: I don't know what flavors red.
- 57:32SPEAKER_01: Okay, so what?
- 57:33SPEAKER_01: What are we talking about?
- 57:34SPEAKER_06: So Matt says red, Walker says.
- 57:37SPEAKER_01: So the new is it red?
- 57:39SPEAKER_06: Red Harbor game.
- 57:40SPEAKER_02: And John says the winner edition, which is a ginger and John says red.
- 57:50SPEAKER_01: Alright, so the Scotchy Bourbon boys, because they all went with red.
- 57:55SPEAKER_01: Scotchy Bourbon of the Year, boys, bourbon of the year.
- 57:59SPEAKER_01: The the okay.
- 58:02SPEAKER_01: This is the old Louisville whiskey company's barrel bottle breakdown of our bourbon of the year.
- 58:11SPEAKER_01: We broke them all down.
- 58:12SPEAKER_04: Yeah, but it's we broke it all down.
- 58:14SPEAKER_04: It's our competition of our boss.
- 58:18SPEAKER_06: The winner is competition.
- 58:20SPEAKER_06: I'm not gonna say it until y'all shut up.
- 58:26SPEAKER_01: Why do you have to yell?
- 58:31SPEAKER_01: Oh man winter!
- 58:33SPEAKER_06: Woo!
- 58:34SPEAKER_03: Congrats, Mercy.
- 58:35SPEAKER_03: That's uh that's a damn fine leaf.
- 58:37SPEAKER_03: Yep, yep.
- 58:37SPEAKER_01: You were right there with I mean, you're with 300 year cathedral barrel whiskey finish.
- 58:46SPEAKER_01: From and and and it was close.
- 58:48SPEAKER_01: I mean it's not like one we said that it's so close.
- 58:54SPEAKER_03: Old Man Winter is readily available.
- 58:55SPEAKER_03: You could walk into preservation down to Bardstown today and you could buy one.
- 58:59SPEAKER_01: You can you can I think you can go walk into top shelf?
- 59:03SPEAKER_01: I think you can go buy this at top shelf right on your way home.
- 59:06SPEAKER_01: I might they have it all over the place because I'm tired of it.
- 59:08SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's everywhere.
- 59:09SPEAKER_06: I saw it.
- 59:12SPEAKER_01: It's not like we sell whiskey.
- 59:14SPEAKER_06: And you know it was a legit.
- 59:15SPEAKER_06: This is missing some of these things.
- 59:17SPEAKER_01: These were good.
- 59:17SPEAKER_01: The first one.
- 59:18SPEAKER_06: I mean, cathedral is delicious too.
- 59:20SPEAKER_06: But you can't buy it.
- 59:21SPEAKER_03: So I'll tell you what, honestly, I was disappointed with Cathedral flavor from that.
- 59:26SPEAKER_03: But the nose was so good.
- 59:28SPEAKER_06: Yes, the nose is insane.
- 59:29SPEAKER_01: There's no disappointment to me.
- 59:31SPEAKER_01: I wasn't disappointed, but yeah, because it's not as good.
- 59:36SPEAKER_03: Great nose.
- 59:37SPEAKER_01: I mean, at 110 proof, everything, but this is sitting, this one's sitting at 101.
- 59:44SPEAKER_06: Old Man Winter was my ten proof.
- 59:49SPEAKER_01: And that and that, this is not a neck pour, and that was a neck pour.
- 59:53SPEAKER_01: That's a fresh crack.
- 59:54SPEAKER_01: That's only gonna get better.
- 59:56unknown: Like they're blended yet.
- 59:57SPEAKER_01: The old man winter is what it was.
- 59:59SPEAKER_01: Alright, guys.
- 1:00:00SPEAKER_03: So before we wrap this up, maybe we should give some honorable mentions to things that we didn't bring, because I know we've all drank a lot of really good whiskeys this year.
- 1:00:10SPEAKER_03: Yeah, and we're in we're all in the world.
- 1:00:13SPEAKER_03: Nashley's in fucking church because he's like, yes, yes!
- 1:00:17SPEAKER_06: So what else tiny did you really like this show?
- 1:00:21SPEAKER_01: A couple of honorable mentions.
- 1:00:22SPEAKER_01: Well, the Bomburgers are what it was it, uh PRG.
- 1:00:28SPEAKER_01: Use your words.
- 1:00:28SPEAKER_01: R P F G P F it's not three letters.
- 1:00:33SPEAKER_01: And that's uh that's that's I don't it's not hard, but at the same time, I don't I get them mixed up.
- 1:00:38SPEAKER_01: I had the right letters, I just don't get them in the right order.
- 1:00:41SPEAKER_00: If you don't know if you don't know at home, PFG.
- 1:00:44SPEAKER_00: I mean RPGs are probably different.
- 1:00:47SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's what the terrorists used to blow up Americans.
- 1:00:49SPEAKER_01: That was that was a great bottle that we had out.
- 1:00:53SPEAKER_03: And then so for those of you that don't know, Bomburgers is made by our friend Dan over at Victor's.
- 1:01:01SPEAKER_03: Yep.
- 1:01:02SPEAKER_03: So shout out to Dan.
- 1:01:03SPEAKER_03: Great bottle this year.
- 1:01:05SPEAKER_03: I agree.
- 1:01:06SPEAKER_03: Andrea Wilson.
- 1:01:07SPEAKER_03: That's right.
- 1:01:08SPEAKER_03: Andrea Wilson.
- 1:01:10SPEAKER_03: And I agree.
- 1:01:10SPEAKER_03: I mean the Bomb Burgers line is just fantastic.
- 1:01:14SPEAKER_03: Any other honorable mentions of that?
- 1:01:15SPEAKER_02: What happened to the Bomburgers?
- 1:01:17SPEAKER_02: What happened to the Bomb Burgers in this line?
- 1:01:18SPEAKER_03: Well, CT brought to pared down.
- 1:01:21SPEAKER_02: Yeah, we're that's a tough one.
- 1:01:23SPEAKER_02: Like it would have made it in.
- 1:01:25SPEAKER_01: It tried to make it in, but we got it.
- 1:01:28SPEAKER_01: We had that on the pre ship.
- 1:01:29SPEAKER_06: I know, I know STF.
- 1:01:31SPEAKER_03: Yes, Mr.
- 1:01:34SPEAKER_03: Nash.
- 1:01:34SPEAKER_06: Nash has got his hand out.
- 1:01:36SPEAKER_06: Yes, Jesus.
- 1:01:38SPEAKER_03: You finally wrote your hand for the honorable mentions for bourbon.
- 1:01:42SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 1:01:43SPEAKER_03: I'd like to.
- 1:01:44SPEAKER_04: Big shout out to Matt and Augusta Bourbon and for the 13 year that they brought this year and put out.
- 1:01:51SPEAKER_04: It's a single barrel.
- 1:01:52SPEAKER_04: And also, like I say, Matt, they're doing great things at Augusta Bourbon.
- 1:01:57SPEAKER_03: So that was one of my picks that wasn't able to make it to the table.
- 1:02:02SPEAKER_03: That wasn't because it was anything short about it.
- 1:02:07SPEAKER_03: It was just because we just had to eliminate the bigger bigger thing.
- 1:02:11SPEAKER_01: What people don't realize also is once you open a bourbon, when you open it and you drink it, then you're then you go about and keep it keep the keep the notes in your head.
- 1:02:22SPEAKER_01: But when you start to taste head to head to things, things change.
- 1:02:26SPEAKER_01: Once the bottle's open.
- 1:02:27SPEAKER_01: For instance, uh Jerry's batch, Booker's, was by far, when I tasted it, uh, it got the highest rating this year of the other two of the the three that we tasted.
- 1:02:40SPEAKER_01: But when we did Bookers of the Year, uh on On the Pond or what is it?
- 1:02:47SPEAKER_01: What's it called?
- 1:02:48SPEAKER_01: By the Pond.
- 1:02:49SPEAKER_01: By the Pond actually took between the three of us for Bookers of the Year the honors opposed to Jerry's batch, which I would have thought would have taken it.
- 1:03:00SPEAKER_01: But after having them open and all three open for a while, the closeness was very they were all very close, but by the pond was able to take it.
- 1:03:11SPEAKER_01: So once you open a bourbon and then you get to this point, if it's early on in the season when they all hit, sometimes how they m oxidize changes the flavor, and it and when you get to this point and when you're tasting them all blind, it it makes a difference.
- 1:03:29SPEAKER_06: I have an honorable mention that.
- 1:03:30SPEAKER_03: And I was gonna say, my my only I'm sorry, my only comment is what the hell does that have to do with honorable mentions?
- 1:03:36SPEAKER_06: But so the Star Hill Farm.
- 1:03:38SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but uh honorable it was Booker's.
- 1:03:40SPEAKER_01: I the honorable mention was Booker's.
- 1:03:43SPEAKER_06: Star Hill Farm.
- 1:03:44SPEAKER_01: So I was my honorable mention.
- 1:03:45SPEAKER_03: And I'm gonna give you a because I I did a fresh crack of the Star Hill Farms and it was terrible.
- 1:03:52SPEAKER_03: And then let it sit open.
- 1:03:54SPEAKER_06: Just for like about yes.
- 1:03:56SPEAKER_03: So I I had mine cracked.
- 1:03:58SPEAKER_03: Let it sit open.
- 1:03:58SPEAKER_03: And I and I did have it open a little bit here and there as I was drinking it.
- 1:04:02SPEAKER_03: But man, after about a month, it just changed.
- 1:04:04SPEAKER_01: If you guys if you go by Ed Boy, who does Old Stubborn, and you're he talks about wheat wheat whiskeys.
- 1:04:11SPEAKER_01: Wheat whiskeys are very no no no, they're that's del they're delicate.
- 1:04:16SPEAKER_01: So they gotta sit for a while.
- 1:04:17SPEAKER_01: So what you're talking about is the Star Heel Find Farm is not a bourbon, it's a wheat whiskey.
- 1:04:22SPEAKER_01: Or maker's mark or papy or weller, all those.
- 1:04:26SPEAKER_01: You always want to let them sit for a while before they become competition because they get they they're a more delicate grain than a rye, than a wheat.
- 1:04:38SPEAKER_01: The wheat grain is whatever, so you want to just let them sit for a while.
- 1:04:41SPEAKER_03: So again, we're off the honorable mention path.
- 1:04:44SPEAKER_03: TV, what's your honorable mention?
- 1:04:47SPEAKER_02: Whew.
- 1:04:48SPEAKER_00: That's tough because I probably would have put the Penelope.
- 1:04:53SPEAKER_00: No.
- 1:04:54SPEAKER_00: I probably would have put the Penelope Omega in.
- 1:04:57SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah.
- 1:04:59SPEAKER_02: I like that bottle.
- 1:05:00SPEAKER_01: It was so man's got a sucking on it.
- 1:05:04SPEAKER_05: Penelope Omega?
- 1:05:05SPEAKER_00: I mean, listen, there's so many bottles throughout the year.
- 1:05:07SPEAKER_00: Oh yeah.
- 1:05:08SPEAKER_00: It's so bad.
- 1:05:10SPEAKER_00: It's so bad that when you go back through this, you're like, was that last year's or this year's?
- 1:05:15SPEAKER_01: I got a I got a Penelope, what is Barcelona?
- 1:05:18SPEAKER_01: Is that what's the among Barcelona?
- 1:05:21SPEAKER_01: What was what Barbados?
- 1:05:23SPEAKER_01: What was the what was the Penelope I got that started with the B?
- 1:05:27SPEAKER_01: Balencien?
- 1:05:28unknown: This?
- 1:05:29SPEAKER_05: No.
- 1:05:30SPEAKER_05: No, that's mine.
- 1:05:31SPEAKER_05: No, I got I got a Penelope over there.
- 1:05:33SPEAKER_05: Get it.
- 1:05:33SPEAKER_01: Get it, man.
- 1:05:35SPEAKER_01: So my I was underneath my shirt.
- 1:05:39SPEAKER_01: I'm so glad.
- 1:05:41SPEAKER_01: Come around.
- 1:05:41SPEAKER_01: Come around, John.
- 1:05:42SPEAKER_01: Take the shirt off.
- 1:05:43SPEAKER_01: See all the Penelopes back there?
- 1:05:45SPEAKER_01: There's one.
- 1:05:45SPEAKER_01: It's the tiny tone.
- 1:05:46SPEAKER_01: We're the lap track.
- 1:05:48SPEAKER_00: Whiskey, what was your second one?
- 1:05:50SPEAKER_00: So I I'm gonna tell you, I struggled with this a little bit.
- 1:05:52SPEAKER_03: I really like nine or eleven.
- 1:05:54SPEAKER_03: I I've had the knob 21 when it's been open for a little bit, and I really enjoyed that this year.
- 1:06:00SPEAKER_03: I almost brought it.
- 1:06:02SPEAKER_01: Havana, that's what I'm talking about.
- 1:06:03SPEAKER_01: Was that rum?
- 1:06:04SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:06:05SPEAKER_02: Now I've got some barrels of maple.
- 1:06:06SPEAKER_02: I love so I've got to.
- 1:06:09SPEAKER_03: I've got like 24 bottles and ob twelve.
- 1:06:12SPEAKER_03: Because the batch one was so good.
- 1:06:14SPEAKER_03: I just went to the bottom.
- 1:06:14SPEAKER_03: I'll trade you today.
- 1:06:15SPEAKER_03: I'll trade you.
- 1:06:16SPEAKER_03: No, it's six weeks.
- 1:06:17SPEAKER_03: Let's talk about the podcast, yeah.
- 1:06:18SPEAKER_04: I remember a couple years ago.
- 1:06:20SPEAKER_04: You you were wrapped up.
- 1:06:21SPEAKER_03: I'm trying to trade.
- 1:06:22SPEAKER_03: I know, but we could do that at once.
- 1:06:25SPEAKER_03: So but op 21 I thought was really good.
- 1:06:29SPEAKER_03: I will be honest with you.
- 1:06:30SPEAKER_03: I I I cracked my cellar age.
- 1:06:33SPEAKER_03: And again, I did the shaker, shaker because I didn't want to get an eck core.
- 1:06:38SPEAKER_03: And I I didn't love it at first, but I really did a couple weeks after you opened it.
- 1:06:45SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:06:46SPEAKER_01: So when we did Cellarage this year, 25, 24, 23.
- 1:06:51SPEAKER_01: Yeah, the 24.
- 1:06:52SPEAKER_01: 24 ended up winning.
- 1:06:53SPEAKER_01: It did.
- 1:06:54SPEAKER_01: But 25 was what she loved.
- 1:06:57SPEAKER_01: And 23 had kind of faded, 24 had come into its own, and 25 still, but she loved it because 25 is just got a little bit more of that Chardonnay oak.
- 1:07:08SPEAKER_07: It does.
- 1:07:08SPEAKER_03: But I will tell you now it might it's a dryness to me.
- 1:07:13SPEAKER_03: I mean it's it does, it has a complexity.
- 1:07:15SPEAKER_02: And that's a good and that's a good bring-in to a backup because really, like had we had a 25 sitting here ready, readily available.
- 1:07:24SPEAKER_02: I do it dropped this morning.
- 1:07:27SPEAKER_02: I have a cell A's 25.
- 1:07:29SPEAKER_04: I do too.
- 1:07:29SPEAKER_02: I have a couple of it.
- 1:07:30SPEAKER_00: But just button, but random bottle?
- 1:07:34SPEAKER_01: Like, I don't that's a freaking good bottle.
- 1:07:37SPEAKER_01: It's a freight bottle, but I don't think it overrides this.
- 1:07:42SPEAKER_01: I didn't pick that.
- 1:07:43unknown: Yeah, well.
- 1:07:44SPEAKER_01: Yeah, this finished second.
- 1:07:46SPEAKER_04: Yeah, but not in mine.
- 1:07:47SPEAKER_04: Because Maker's Mart 25 wasn't in there, so Celery's 25.
- 1:07:52SPEAKER_01: We judge we judge by what was here in front of us.
- 1:07:55SPEAKER_00: It probably wouldn't.
- 1:07:56SPEAKER_01: It would have been in fourth.
- 1:07:56SPEAKER_00: So we don't have a Celeries 25 here?
- 1:07:58SPEAKER_01: It's right there, right behind her.
- 1:08:00SPEAKER_01: Did you crack it all?
- 1:08:01SPEAKER_01: Do we have five glasses?
- 1:08:02SPEAKER_01: Yeah, we do.
- 1:08:03SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:08:03SPEAKER_01: There's 20.
- 1:08:04SPEAKER_01: No, there's eight glasses.
- 1:08:05SPEAKER_01: Go get eight.
- 1:08:08SPEAKER_01: We're not going to be able to do that.
- 1:08:09SPEAKER_01: Wait, wait, wait.
- 1:08:10SPEAKER_01: We're going to end the podcast before we start this.
- 1:08:12SPEAKER_01: So all right, everybody, we got to end the podcast.
- 1:08:15SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I mean, that's the thing.
- 1:08:16SPEAKER_03: We're starting to get a little off into weird.
- 1:08:19SPEAKER_03: We always go off on the side.
- 1:08:20SPEAKER_03: We should try that.
- 1:08:21SPEAKER_03: No, the one thing that I think the one thing that I think that is pretty interesting about this whole thing.
- 1:08:26SPEAKER_03: I'm just gonna take the fucking microphones.
- 1:08:28SPEAKER_03: The one thing that I think is pretty interesting as we talk about our honorable mentions and our our candidates for Burber in the Year is there's no one distillery that that dominated here.
- 1:08:38SPEAKER_04: I think everybody's making everybody's making good juice.
- 1:08:42SPEAKER_03: There's so many things to choose from.
- 1:08:44SPEAKER_03: Yeah, we have five very different palettes between us, and and yet we can you can find something to enjoy from almost everything.
- 1:08:54SPEAKER_01: That's why we're a group.
- 1:08:55SPEAKER_01: Once again, it's like we're getting together.
- 1:08:58SPEAKER_01: I thought that was so true.
- 1:08:59SPEAKER_01: The bourbon is the glue.
- 1:09:01SPEAKER_01: Everybody can have different opinions on the bourbon.
- 1:09:04SPEAKER_01: We all talk about it, we all enjoy it, we all relax, or we just want uh fresh glasses.
- 1:09:11SPEAKER_01: We get to yeah, yeah.
- 1:09:13SPEAKER_01: So, so wait, what's happening?
- 1:09:16SPEAKER_06: This is the CellRH, 2025.
- 1:09:18SPEAKER_06: But everyone could agree.
- 1:09:19SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but Walker's already got eight more glasses.
- 1:09:21SPEAKER_01: He's got them right over there with the flag.
- 1:09:23SPEAKER_01: No, no, no.
- 1:09:25SPEAKER_03: Water me one plastic cup with some water in it.
- 1:09:28SPEAKER_03: And we'll just rinse the glasses we have.
- 1:09:30SPEAKER_01: No, he's got eight sitting on top over there.
- 1:09:33SPEAKER_03: It's an awful lot of glasses.
- 1:09:35SPEAKER_04: I'm just gonna rinse mine.
- 1:09:36SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:09:36SPEAKER_01: Are you guys all of a sudden are worried about my how much I how many glasses I have to wash?
- 1:09:43SPEAKER_03: But rinsing them is like makes sense.
- 1:09:45SPEAKER_03: You know what?
- 1:09:45SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna drink out of this real fancy crystal bottle.
- 1:09:48SPEAKER_03: Oh god, I hate you.
- 1:09:49SPEAKER_01: Just pass that around.
