Mitch McConnell, Senate Republican Leader Emeritus, won’t attend Kentucky’s Fancy Farm Picnic this year after a June fall left him still recovering. Under doctor’s orders, he’s undergoing intensive physical therapy at a rehab facility to rebuild strength and prevent future falls — his childhood polio complicating his mobility.
