Latest / The 47 Morning Update with Ben Ferguson / Obama’s Same Hope & No Change Speech, Starstruck Media for El-Said plus The Alarm Sounds—Go Vote! Week In Review
Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Welcome, it is Verdict with Ted Cruz, Week in Review,
- 0:03Speaker 1: Ben Ferguson with you, and these are the stories that
- 0:05Speaker 1: you may have missed that we talked about this week.
- 0:07Speaker 1: First up, Barack Obama hits the campaign trail with more
- 0:11Speaker 1: lies than hope and change, this time in Ohio, and
- 0:15Speaker 1: we have the receipts to prove exactly what he said
- 0:18Speaker 1: and how wrong it really was. Up next, it was
- 0:21Speaker 1: shocking to see how quickly the liberal media laid down
- 0:25Speaker 1: when they were interviewing El-Said. What questions did they not
- 0:29Speaker 1: ask on purpose? What did they not press him on?
- 0:31Speaker 2: A lot.
- 0:32Speaker 3: And we'll break that down for you as well.
- 0:34Speaker 1: And finally, as we are just days away from the election,
- 0:37Speaker 1: what is it that you need to know about showing
- 0:40Speaker 1: up to vote?
- 0:41Speaker 3: Senator Cruz and I break that down for you as well.
- 0:44Speaker 1: It's the Week in Review, and it starts right now. Senator,
- 0:47Speaker 1: can we just go back in history and remind people
- 0:50Speaker 1: about the pallets of cash that were sent by these, quote,
- 0:54Speaker 1: serious people in the Democratic Party to appease the Iranian
- 0:58Speaker 1: regime that chanced death to America, that was clearly trying
- 1:01Speaker 1: to get a nuclear weapon, who says they want to
- 1:03Speaker 1: annihilate Israel, wipe them off the map. Because that's his
- 1:06Speaker 1: definition of a serious person who takes pallets of cash
- 1:09Speaker 1: and sends it to them saying, please don't do that,
- 1:12Speaker 1: here's money.
- 1:13Speaker 4: I'm sorry, Ben, you're doing something that is not permissible
- 1:16Speaker 4: with a Barack Obama speech, which is you're actually bringing facts.
- 1:20Speaker 4: and substance. We can't have that. This is political oratory.
- 1:24Speaker 4: This is rhetoric. This is partisan lies. You are, of course,
- 1:29Speaker 4: exactly right. And this is a good example, A, of
- 1:32Speaker 4: how Obama has always done it, but B, where the
- 1:35Speaker 4: Democrats are going to go the next two years, which is,
- 1:38Speaker 4: number one, just flat-out lie. So his lie is that
- 1:43Speaker 4: Iran did not have nuclear weapons and it wasn't going
- 1:46Speaker 4: to get nuclear weapons because the Obama-Iran nuclear deal was
- 1:51Speaker 4: going to prevent them from getting nuclear weapons. That is
- 1:54Speaker 4: an absolute lie. Now, it's a lie that begins by minimizing,
- 1:59Speaker 4: by ignoring the threat that Iran poses. You notice nowhere
- 2:04Speaker 4: in Obama's speech was there any acknowledgement of the Ayatollah
- 2:08Speaker 4: routinely leading mobs of thousands upon thousands of people chanting
- 2:12Speaker 4: death to America. nowhere was any acknowledgment that the Ayatollah
- 2:17Speaker 4: and the Islamic regime in Iran was responsible for murdering
- 2:22Speaker 4: nearly a thousand Americans, mostly servicemen and women, that they
- 2:25Speaker 4: have killed year after year after year. Nowhere was there
- 2:28Speaker 4: any acknowledgment that Iran is the lead state sponsor of
- 2:32Speaker 4: terrorism on the globe, the lead funder of Hamas and Hezbollah,
- 2:37Speaker 4: and that they have been actively waging war with Americans
- 2:39Speaker 4: trying to kill us. Nowhere was there any acknowledgment that
- 2:42Speaker 4: Iran has invested billions of dollars into developing not just
- 2:46Speaker 4: nuclear weapons, but developing ICBMs. Now, an ICBM, ICBM stands
- 2:51Speaker 4: for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile. You don't need an ICBM to
- 2:55Speaker 4: get to Israel. An ordinary ballistic missile will go from
- 2:59Speaker 4: Iran to Israel. You need an ICBM to take a
- 3:02Speaker 4: nuclear weapon from Iran to the United States. 100% of
- 3:06Speaker 4: the purpose of their ICBM program is to be able
- 3:09Speaker 4: to to deliver a nuclear warhead and detonate a nuclear
- 3:13Speaker 4: warhead in the United States, most likely New York or D.C.
- 3:18Speaker 4: or Los Angeles, or for that matter, where you and
- 3:21Speaker 4: I live, Houston, all of those are cities Iran could target,
- 3:25Speaker 4: and any one of which a nuclear weapon detonated above
- 3:28Speaker 4: those cities could kill millions of Americans in a flash
- 3:32Speaker 4: of an eye. None of that is acknowledged. The Obama-Iran
- 3:37Speaker 4: nuclear deal was designed inevitably to allow Iran to get
- 3:44Speaker 4: nuclear weapons. Barack Obama believes it is perfectly fine for
- 3:48Speaker 4: the Ayatollah to have nuclear weapons. He believes it is unfair,
- 3:52Speaker 4: it is colonialist of America to try to stop Iran
- 3:56Speaker 4: from getting nuclear weapons. On the terms of the deal,
- 4:00Speaker 4: the terms of the deal carved out major sections of
- 4:02Speaker 4: Iran that were not subject to inspections. Anything that Iran
- 4:06Speaker 4: designated as a, quote, sensitive military facility was exempted from inspections. Well,
- 4:12Speaker 4: guess where they were doing all their nuclear weapons research?
- 4:15Speaker 4: In sensitive military facilities. Even the non-sensitive facilities. The deal
- 4:23Speaker 4: that Obama signed contemplated Iran inspecting itself. Iran sending its
- 4:29Speaker 4: own inspectors to go in. It's a little bit like,
- 4:32Speaker 4: you know, if you're in the movie Scarface. the police
- 4:36Speaker 4: calling up Tony Montana going, hey, Tony, you have any drugs?
- 4:40Speaker 3: No, man, no, man, I got no drugs.
- 4:42Speaker 4: I got no drugs at all, nothing at all. Okay, Tony,
- 4:44Speaker 4: thank you, thank you, I appreciate that. All right, fully inspected.
- 4:48Speaker 4: That was basically the Obama-Iran nuclear deal. Call the Ayatollah,
- 4:53Speaker 4: ask if he has nukes. If he says no, trust him.
- 4:57Speaker 4: And finally, with the weakest strictures possible, Even those strictures
- 5:04Speaker 4: under the Obama deal all went away in 15 years.
- 5:07Speaker 4: The entire deal sunsetted in 15 years, which means in
- 5:10Speaker 4: 15 years, Obama was saying, then you could most definitely
- 5:15Speaker 4: develop a nuclear weapon completely free of sanctions. You can
- 5:17Speaker 4: build it in the open and we will say nothing
- 5:19Speaker 4: and do nothing to stop you. It was a disastrous deal.
- 5:24Speaker 4: The single most important decision President Trump made in his
- 5:28Speaker 4: first term was to rip up the disastrous Iran nuclear deal.
- 5:37Speaker 4: That made America much, much safer. That was a decision
- 5:40Speaker 4: I very vigorously urged the president to do. He agreed
- 5:43Speaker 4: with me and he did that. This also illustrates how
- 5:47Speaker 4: Obama and the Democrats are going to combine their lies
- 5:51Speaker 4: about Iran, minimizing the threat, claiming falsely that the Obama
- 5:55Speaker 4: deal had any threat neutralized. They're going to use it, though,
- 6:00Speaker 4: to connect it to every bit, 100% of the economic pressure,
- 6:04Speaker 4: the very real economic pressure people are feeling. Look, inflation
- 6:08Speaker 4: is real. And inflation is real because we had four
- 6:11Speaker 4: years of Joe Biden where inflation was out of control. Now,
- 6:15Speaker 4: inflation has dropped dramatically. It is much more manageable now
- 6:19Speaker 4: than it was under the Biden administration, but that doesn't
- 6:21Speaker 4: mean prices have gotten cheaper. Under Biden, they rose massively.
- 6:26Speaker 4: They're now rising more slowly, but they're rising from the
- 6:29Speaker 4: higher base of four years of Biden inflation baked in.
- 6:33Speaker 4: And this is the Democrats' entire strategy. They're trying to
- 6:35Speaker 4: say everything you pay more for. Yes, gasoline at the pump. Yes, diesel.
- 6:41Speaker 3: Yes, jet fuel.
- 6:42Speaker 4: But also, yes, food.
- 6:44Speaker 3: Yes, homes.
- 6:45Speaker 4: Everything they are going to blame on President Trump and
- 6:49Speaker 4: the Iran war. This is a real foreshadowing of 100,000
- 6:54Speaker 4: TV commercials that are coming of hearing and hearing and
- 6:58Speaker 4: hearing and candidate after candidate after candidate, all of whom
- 7:02Speaker 4: are going to echo Barack Obama's messaging right here. Yeah.
- 7:05Speaker 3: Listen, by the way, to his closing statement and what
- 7:08Speaker 3: he said.
- 7:09Speaker 2: If our fundamental attitude to each other is to try
- 7:15Speaker 2: and hurt other people so they don't hurt us first,
- 7:18Speaker 2: we're driven by fear instead of by hope. if we
- 7:22Speaker 2: think it's okay to snatch children from parents or cut
- 7:25Speaker 2: programs for the aged or the infirm so the powerful
- 7:28Speaker 2: can get whatever they want, we will continue to fester
- 7:33Speaker 2: in anger and division.
- 7:35Speaker 3: And I don't know about you, but I'm tired of
- 7:37Speaker 3: being angry.
- 7:39Speaker 2: And I'm tired of being divided. I want to reach
- 7:44Speaker 2: out and shake my neighbor's hand. I want to get
- 7:49Speaker 2: to work doing something for somebody else. We didn't get
- 7:56Speaker 2: into this moment overnight. We won't get out of it overnight.
- 8:01Speaker 2: And none of us should pretend that any single person
- 8:04Speaker 2: in any single office is somehow going to save the
- 8:08Speaker 2: day for us and that the rest of us can
- 8:09Speaker 2: just go back to acting the same way. We're going
- 8:15Speaker 2: to have to all make some changes, but Ohio, here's
- 8:18Speaker 2: what I know. This election can be a start. This
- 8:22Speaker 2: election can be an inflection point. This election can be
- 8:26Speaker 2: a course correction in America's long journey toward a more
- 8:30Speaker 2: perfect union. Because if we're willing to turn out in
- 8:35Speaker 2: big numbers here in Ohio and across the country, if
- 8:39Speaker 2: we're willing to vote for change and vote for Democrats
- 8:42Speaker 2: up and down the ballot, then this election might just
- 8:46Speaker 2: mark the moment this country began moving in a better direction.
- 8:52Speaker 2: When we leave our worst impulses behind and start aligning
- 8:56Speaker 2: our politics with our highest ideals, Ohio, you and I
- 9:01Speaker 2: have proved before that it is hard to stop a
- 9:06Speaker 2: change whose time has come. In ten days, you have
- 9:10Speaker 2: a chance to do it again. So I'm asking you,
- 9:14Speaker 2: are you fired up? Are you ready to go? Let's
- 9:19Speaker 2: make Amy Acton governor. Let's make Sheryl Brown senator. Let's
- 9:24Speaker 2: get on the path to making America better. Thank you.
- 9:28Speaker 2: I love you.
- 9:29Speaker 3: God bless you.
- 9:31Speaker 1: By the way, I love how he fires them up
- 9:32Speaker 1: at the end. He says, let's make America better instead
- 9:35Speaker 1: of make America great.
- 9:36Speaker 3: That kind of made me laugh.
- 9:38Speaker 4: Well, look. That entire closing reminds you of the power
- 9:42Speaker 4: of Barack Obama. Part three of this speech was 100%
- 9:47Speaker 4: hope and change.
- 9:49Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 9:50Speaker 4: And don't underestimate hope and change. This guy is the
- 9:55Speaker 4: best P.T.
- 9:56Speaker 3: Barnum.
- 9:57Speaker 4: Sell one thing and deliver another. that I think politics
- 10:01Speaker 4: has ever produced. He's very good at the hopey-changey stuff.
- 10:05Speaker 4: Like it, I'm inspired. I'm tired of being angry. I
- 10:09Speaker 4: want to reach over and shake the hand of my neighbor. Like,
- 10:12Speaker 4: that's good stuff. Now, mind you, it's an absolute lie.
- 10:16Speaker 4: Barack Obama doesn't want to shake anyone's hands. look, when
- 10:20Speaker 4: he was president, I was in the Senate when he
- 10:22Speaker 4: was president, he is so arrogant and aloof. It actually
- 10:27Speaker 4: limited his effectiveness because he could not be bothered to
- 10:30Speaker 4: talk to senators or house members or really anybody that
- 10:33Speaker 4: everyone was beneath him. And Democrat senators would complain about this.
- 10:38Speaker 4: Like when Obama was president, he wouldn't talk to them.
- 10:40Speaker 4: It wasn't a partisan thing. He just thought that like
- 10:43Speaker 4: he was from a higher plane and all the rest
- 10:46Speaker 4: of us were were subjects that he was there to rule.
- 10:49Speaker 4: I mean, he really did think he was King Barack.
- 10:52Speaker 4: And in terms of, you know, he wants to shake
- 10:55Speaker 4: the hand of his neighbor. Well, you know, interestingly enough,
- 10:58Speaker 4: he had an opportunity to do that. He had an
- 10:59Speaker 4: opportunity to shake the hand of his neighbor during the
- 11:02Speaker 4: Joe Biden presidency. And that was when, you'll recall, I suggested,
- 11:07Speaker 4: actually filed legislation to change the port of entry for
- 11:10Speaker 4: illegal immigrants to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket and the Hamptons.
- 11:17Speaker 4: and Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, which is where Biden vacationed. And
- 11:25Speaker 4: if they were going to allow 12 million illegal immigrants
- 11:27Speaker 4: to invade our nation, they should actually have to see
- 11:31Speaker 4: those illegal immigrants that they're inviting to our country and
- 11:33Speaker 4: care for them. And you'll recall Ron DeSantis in Florida
- 11:37Speaker 4: implemented the idea that I had proposed, and he put
- 11:40Speaker 4: together a plane full of illegal immigrants, and he flew
- 11:44Speaker 4: them to Martha's Vineyard. And at the time I had
- 11:47Speaker 4: filed my legislation, the county executive at Martha's Vineyard, the
- 11:51Speaker 4: equivalent of the mayor, had put out a public statement.
- 11:55Speaker 4: And he blasted me for filing this legislation. He said,
- 11:58Speaker 4: Cruz doesn't understand. He doesn't understand immigration. And he said,
- 12:04Speaker 4: if illegal immigrants came to Martha's Vineyard, we would welcome
- 12:08Speaker 4: them here. Well, they did come because Ron DeSantis sent them.
- 12:14Speaker 3: And what happened?
- 12:15Speaker 4: Within 24 hours, that very same county executive declared an emergency.
- 12:21Speaker 4: And within 72 hours, they had forcibly removed every single
- 12:25Speaker 4: one of the illegal immigrants from Martha's Vineyard. Understand, Barack
- 12:28Speaker 4: Obama and Michelle Obama have a palatial mansion in Martha's Vineyard.
- 12:37Speaker 4: Did Barack Obama reach out and shake the hand of
- 12:40Speaker 4: his neighbor? Did he say, hey, these illegals, I've got,
- 12:43Speaker 4: you know... 57 rooms, or I don't know how many
- 12:46Speaker 4: rooms he has. I've got a lot of rooms in
- 12:47Speaker 4: my mansion. Why don't we set up some cots and
- 12:50Speaker 4: put some of these illegals in my house?
- 12:53Speaker 3: No, no, no, no, no.
- 12:54Speaker 4: Obama didn't say a word. He didn't want to shake
- 12:56Speaker 4: their hand. He just sat there while they declared an
- 12:58Speaker 4: emergency and removed them because, look, if you're a rich liberal,
- 13:03Speaker 4: you've got Chardonnay to sip. You've got cheese to poke
- 13:07Speaker 4: with your little toothpick. And you cannot be bothered to
- 13:12Speaker 4: get around the dirty masses. You know, you have... Instead,
- 13:17Speaker 4: what you do is you dupe the masses. Instead, you
- 13:21Speaker 4: do what Obama does, which is you lie to them.
- 13:23Speaker 4: You say, listen, we've got to be nice. We've got
- 13:27Speaker 4: to be kind. We've got to be loving.
- 13:29Speaker 2: And....
- 13:31Speaker 4: That would be more effective if we didn't have eight
- 13:33Speaker 4: years of Obama's presidency, because during that presidency, he wasn't kind.
- 13:38Speaker 4: He wasn't loving.
- 13:39Speaker 3: He was hateful.
- 13:40Speaker 4: He hated his opposition. He demonized his opposition. He went
- 13:44Speaker 4: after them viciously, but he's very good at selling it
- 13:48Speaker 4: as something that it's not. And so I want all
- 13:50Speaker 4: of y'all just to reflect. This podcast is the crystal
- 13:55Speaker 4: ball podcast. It is telling you exactly what to expect.
- 14:01Speaker 4: In all of 2027 and all of 2028, this is
- 14:05Speaker 4: where the Democrats are going, and we need to be
- 14:08Speaker 4: ready to counter it.
- 14:10Speaker 1: Now, if you want to hear the rest of this conversation,
- 14:13Speaker 1: you can go back and listen to the full podcast
- 14:15Speaker 1: from earlier this week.
- 14:17Speaker 3: Now on to story number two.
- 14:19Speaker 1: I mean, it is the exact. I mean, it would
- 14:22Speaker 1: be like asking Adolf Hitler, did you gas the Jews?
- 14:25Speaker 3: And he says no.
- 14:26Speaker 1: And you're like, all right, even though there's evidence that
- 14:28Speaker 1: that is how absurd this moment was.
- 14:31Speaker 3: On Meet the Press.
- 14:32Speaker 1: Yet it actually happened. And you saw it was only what,
- 14:35Speaker 1: 15 seconds long. It's embarrassing. But they did it because
- 14:39Speaker 1: they wanted the narrative to get out there. that he
- 14:41Speaker 1: is some sort of mainstream normal guy that has no
- 14:45Speaker 1: connections to terrorism, no connections to radical extremist Muslim ideas, organizations, groups,
- 14:52Speaker 1: and they want to put it all to bed so
- 14:53Speaker 1: he can finish out the campaign by saying, I'm just
- 14:56Speaker 1: a normal guy that just wants to represent America in Congress.
- 14:59Speaker 3: Now, Senator, before we get to more of this.
- 15:01Speaker 1: Let's talk real quick about planning on getting your vote
- 15:03Speaker 1: counted for the midterms.
- 15:05Speaker 3: The midterms are here.
- 15:06Speaker 1: And the Democratic Socialists of America, if they win, they're
- 15:09Speaker 1: going to push a radical socialist agenda and they're going
- 15:12Speaker 1: to drown President Trump in endless investigations. I've already said
- 15:15Speaker 1: that publicly. Now, we've seen this playbook before. They've tried
- 15:18Speaker 1: impeaching him. They've tried putting him in prison. They've tried everything.
- 15:22Speaker 1: So don't let them win, because if we lose, they're
- 15:26Speaker 1: going to undo everything our movement has fought for. Now,
- 15:29Speaker 1: I need you to vote early so that you can
- 15:31Speaker 1: bank your vote and fight back against the left's turnout machine.
- 15:35Speaker 3: And they are turning out.
- 15:37Speaker 1: Go to GOP votes dot org right now and find
- 15:39Speaker 1: out where you can vote. Now, if you live in
- 15:42Speaker 1: the critical Senate battleground states of Maine or Ohio, early
- 15:45Speaker 1: voting is already underway starting this week. So make your
- 15:48Speaker 1: voice heard. It's easier than ever. You can get election reminders.
- 15:52Speaker 1: You can look up your polling location and pick a
- 15:55Speaker 1: date to vote early. Go to GOP votes dot org today.
- 15:59Speaker 1: Paid for by the SLF PAC, not authorized by any
- 16:03Speaker 1: candidate or candidates committee.
- 16:05Speaker 3: All right.
- 16:06Speaker 1: So let's get back into this story. And again, there's
- 16:08Speaker 1: the scary part is there's even more to this.
- 16:11Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 16:12Speaker 4: So in 2018, there was a documentary that showed El-Sayed
- 16:17Speaker 4: asking filmmakers to keep his living room bookshelf out of
- 16:21Speaker 4: the frame to, quote, keep the shot secular. So now
- 16:28Speaker 4: what do you think that bookshelf held that he was
- 16:30Speaker 4: trying to keep out of the documentary because he didn't
- 16:32Speaker 4: want people to see that? By the way, this is
- 16:34Speaker 4: not just a book he had somewhere that he proudly
- 16:37Speaker 4: displays in his living room.
- 16:39Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 16:39Speaker 4: Well, it included works by Abu Aminah Bilal Phillips, who
- 16:46Speaker 4: is a 1993 World Trade Center bombing unindicted co-conspirator. It
- 16:51Speaker 4: also included books by Brotherhood member Muhammad al-Ghazali, a Jamaat
- 16:58Speaker 4: al-Islami member, and also by.
- 17:03Speaker 4: Shakul Islam Ibn Taimiya, whose writings both Al-Qaeda and ISIS cite.
- 17:13Speaker 4: His campaign later said, this was not Abdul's bookshelf. It
- 17:17Speaker 4: was apparently another bookshelf someone smuggled into his living room
- 17:20Speaker 4: against his wishes. And they said, a background book is, quote,
- 17:25Speaker 4: not an endorsement. This is, again, apparently someone mysteriously is
- 17:28Speaker 4: putting books in his living room. Now, I want to
- 17:33Speaker 4: stop and go back to a foundational question. The evidence
- 17:37Speaker 4: is overwhelming that Abdul Al-Sayed is a supporter of the
- 17:41Speaker 4: Muslim Brotherhood, that his family, as his sister says, have
- 17:44Speaker 4: long been Muslim Brotherhood supporters. But let's stop for a
- 17:48Speaker 4: second and say, what is the Muslim Brotherhood? Should we
- 17:50Speaker 4: be worried? I mean, look, Brotherhood is nice, right? What's
- 17:53Speaker 4: wrong with Brotherhood? So let's do a little bit of
- 17:55Speaker 4: background as to what the Muslim Brotherhood is. The Muslim
- 17:59Speaker 4: Brotherhood whose technical name is Al-Ikwan Al-Muslimun, is a transnational
- 18:09Speaker 4: Sunni Islamist movement founded in Egypt in 1928 by schoolteacher
- 18:15Speaker 4: Hassan al-Banna, whose stated aim was government by Sharia and
- 18:22Speaker 4: ultimately a global Islamic order. The Muslim Brotherhood's motto declares, quote,
- 18:29Speaker 4: The Koran is our constitution. Jihad is our way. Death
- 18:36Speaker 4: for the sake of Allah is our wish. Al-Banna's doctrine
- 18:42Speaker 4: of tamkeen, which means empowerment, lays out a stage path
- 18:48Speaker 4: for reforming individual Muslims to building loyal communities to taking
- 18:53Speaker 4: state power. Brotherhood members assassinated Egyptian Prime Minister Mahmoud al-Nakrashi
- 19:02Speaker 4: in 1948 and tried to kill Egyptian President Nasser in 1954.
- 19:08Speaker 4: And the writings of Brotherhood ideologue Sayyid Qutb later supplied
- 19:14Speaker 4: the theological framework for both al-Qaeda and ISIS.
- 19:19Speaker 3: The theological framework. Let's say that just again.
- 19:22Speaker 1: The theological framework is one of the people involved in
- 19:26Speaker 1: the Muslim Brotherhood for ISIS and Al-Qaeda.
- 19:29Speaker 2: Yes.
- 19:30Speaker 4: The Brotherhood operates through national branches that adopt their tactics
- 19:35Speaker 4: to local conditions. Hamas is, by its own 1988 charter,
- 19:40Speaker 4: the Brotherhood's Palestinian branch. The Lebanese branch of the Muslim
- 19:45Speaker 4: Brotherhood fought alongside Hezbollah. Qatar, sir. as the movement's chief
- 19:52Speaker 4: state patron. In Egypt, the Brotherhood briefly held power under
- 19:59Speaker 4: President Mohamed Morsi from 2012 to 2013 before he was
- 20:03Speaker 4: removed and the group was banned as a terrorist organization.
- 20:09Speaker 4: In the United States, the Brotherhood built a network of
- 20:13Speaker 4: public-facing 501c3 and 501c4 organizations. In the Muslim Brotherhood's 1991
- 20:23Speaker 4: explanatory memorandum, which was seized by the FBI and entered
- 20:26Speaker 4: into evidence in the Holy Land Foundation trial, it describes
- 20:30Speaker 4: its U.S. mission, the U.S. mission of the in eliminating
- 20:39Speaker 4: and destroying the Western civilization from within. And it lists
- 20:45Speaker 4: the Islamic Society of North America, which Abdul Al-Sayed's father-in-law
- 20:51Speaker 4: was one of the founding members of, the Muslim Students Association,
- 20:55Speaker 4: and the North American Islamic Trust as among, quote, our organizations.
- 21:01Speaker 4: This is the Muslim Brotherhood saying these are our organizations.
- 21:06Speaker 4: After Hamas's founding, And in an effort to derail the
- 21:10Speaker 4: Oslo Accords, the U.S. Brotherhood created a, quote, Palestine Committee
- 21:13Speaker 4: in 1993. This group of Brotherhood officials raised money for
- 21:18Speaker 4: Hamas under the banner of an American C3 known as
- 21:22Speaker 4: the Holy Land Foundation. The Holy Land Foundation's leaders were
- 21:26Speaker 4: convicted in 2008 on all 108 counts of funneling roughly
- 21:28Speaker 4: $ 12 million to Hamas. And prosecutors named Kerr, and ISNA
- 21:39Speaker 4: and NAIT as unindicted co-conspirators. A federal judge ruled in
- 21:45Speaker 4: 2009 that the government has produced, quote, ample evidence linking CARE, ISNA,
- 21:53Speaker 4: and NAIT to the Holy Land Foundation and to Hamas.
- 21:57Speaker 4: Since then, President Trump, via Executive Order 14362, has has
- 22:02Speaker 4: begun the process of designating certain Muslim Brotherhood chapters as
- 22:06Speaker 4: foreign terrorist organizations and specially designated global terrorists. By the way,
- 22:13Speaker 4: that's something I have been fighting for for years, to
- 22:15Speaker 4: designate the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization, which President
- 22:18Speaker 4: Trump has taken major steps to do, and also designating
- 22:22Speaker 4: CARE as a terrorist organization, which has not happened yet,
- 22:25Speaker 4: although the state of Texas has done so.
- 22:28Speaker 1: Isn't it amazing, Senator, that just you and I sitting
- 22:30Speaker 1: here can spend a half hour exposing exactly how he
- 22:35Speaker 1: has connected the Muslim Brotherhood. But in 12 seconds, NBC
- 22:39Speaker 1: News does the job for the entire media of saying
- 22:42Speaker 1: there is no Muslim Brotherhood there.
- 22:45Speaker 3: There's no fire. There's no smoke. He already denied it.
- 22:48Speaker 3: It's done. It is fact. We can move on.
- 22:52Speaker 4: Yeah, but look, NBC is covering up for him, but
- 22:54Speaker 4: you don't see ABC covering this or CBS or CNN
- 22:57Speaker 4: or MSNBC. None of them are covering this because at
- 23:01Speaker 4: this point, these are institutions where you've got many in
- 23:05Speaker 4: the leadership there want the Democrats to win. And listen,
- 23:09Speaker 4: I think the evidence is overwhelming that Abdul Al-Sayed's family
- 23:16Speaker 4: is directly connected to the Muslim Brotherhood, that they have
- 23:18Speaker 4: financial ties to the Muslim Brotherhoods, and that they have
- 23:22Speaker 4: been vocal supporters. If you do not believe me, believe
- 23:24Speaker 4: his sister who says, our family have long been Muslim Brotherhood.
- 23:29Speaker 4: That's his own sister. And yet, Abdul Al-Sayed is lying
- 23:33Speaker 4: about it. By the way, the evidence is very clear
- 23:35Speaker 4: that Abdul Al-Sayed has long supported the Muslim Brotherhood. He
- 23:38Speaker 4: has written in support of the Muslim Brotherhood over and
- 23:42Speaker 4: over and over again. The largest donor to the super
- 23:45Speaker 4: PAC supporting his campaign is his father-in-law, who is a
- 23:49Speaker 4: founding member of an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land
- 23:52Speaker 4: Foundation case. The evidence is clear, and understand the threat.
- 23:56Speaker 2: I want to.
- 23:57Speaker 4: Close where we started. If Abdul Al-Sayed wins... By virtue
- 24:02Speaker 4: of being a senator, he will have access to classified information,
- 24:05Speaker 4: classified information about what the United States government is doing
- 24:08Speaker 4: to stop the Muslim Brotherhood, what the United States government
- 24:11Speaker 4: is doing to prevent terrorist attacks by the Muslim Brotherhood,
- 24:14Speaker 4: to prevent terrorist attacks by the Muslim Brotherhood against the
- 24:17Speaker 4: United States, against U.S. servicemen and women, against civilians in
- 24:22Speaker 4: American cities. And I believe if Abdul Al-Sayed has access
- 24:27Speaker 4: to that classified materials, that it will endanger the lives
- 24:32Speaker 4: of servicemen and women, American servicemen and women serving overseas,
- 24:35Speaker 4: and that it will endanger the lives of U.S. intelligence
- 24:39Speaker 4: operatives serving overseas. This is a profound danger. And so, listen,
- 24:43Speaker 4: I hope Election Day is a great election where Republicans
- 24:47Speaker 4: keep the House and Senate, where we grow our majorities.
- 24:49Speaker 4: That would be a very good outcome.
- 24:51Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 24:51Speaker 4: But what I... pray is that at a minimum, Abdul
- 24:55Speaker 4: Al-Said is not elected to the Senate and James Tallarico
- 24:59Speaker 4: in Texas is not elected to the Senate. These two
- 25:03Speaker 4: are radicals and they're dangerous for our country. And I
- 25:06Speaker 4: hope that everyone involved between now and election day does
- 25:09Speaker 4: everything they can to prevent that danger to our servicemen
- 25:15Speaker 4: and women, our intelligence operatives serving abroad and protecting this nation.
- 25:20Speaker 1: As before, if you want to hear the rest of
- 25:21Speaker 1: this conversation on this topic, you can go back and
- 25:24Speaker 1: download the podcast from earlier this week to hear the
- 25:27Speaker 1: entire thing. I want to get back to the big story,
- 25:31Speaker 1: number three of the week you may have missed. Senator,
- 25:34Speaker 1: we're talking about the midterms. You're all over the country,
- 25:37Speaker 1: that is, and working your tail off trying to help
- 25:40Speaker 1: get Republicans elected. There's three other states that we need
- 25:43Speaker 1: to break down real quick that you've been to, and
- 25:45Speaker 1: let's do that.
- 25:46Speaker 4: Well, just a couple of days ago, I was in Michigan.
- 25:49Speaker 4: And I'll tell you, I'm encouraged by Michigan. Michigan is
- 25:51Speaker 4: a battleground state. Michigan's a swing state. Michigan voted for
- 25:55Speaker 4: Donald Trump, but right on the edge. It was very,
- 25:57Speaker 4: very close. Michigan right now has two Democrat senators. I
- 26:01Speaker 4: think it is our single best pickup opportunity in the country.
- 26:04Speaker 4: And I believe Michigan, along with Texas, are the two
- 26:08Speaker 4: most important Senate races in the entire country. And a
- 26:11Speaker 4: big part of the reason is the Democrat nominees in
- 26:14Speaker 4: those two states are the most radical Democrat nominees, not
- 26:17Speaker 4: only in the whole country. I think they may well
- 26:19Speaker 4: be the most radical Democrat nominees in history, and they're
- 26:22Speaker 4: both profoundly dangerous. James Tallarico in Texas, we've talked a
- 26:25Speaker 4: lot about how extreme and radical he is. We're at
- 26:28Speaker 4: real risk of his winning. We've got to stop that. Michigan,
- 26:32Speaker 4: you've got Abdul Al-Sayed. And by the way, if you
- 26:34Speaker 4: did not listen to Wednesday's podcast, Wednesday's podcast laid out
- 26:40Speaker 4: the objective evidence that is overwhelming that Abdul Al-Sayed has
- 26:47Speaker 4: for decades been a vocal and passionate supporter of the
- 26:50Speaker 4: Muslim Brotherhood. The Muslim Brotherhood is a terrorist organization that
- 26:55Speaker 4: has murdered tens of thousands of people. And the objective
- 26:59Speaker 4: evidence is compelling. And so Mike Rogers is the Republican nominee.
- 27:03Speaker 4: I think Mike is a really strong nominee, a really
- 27:05Speaker 4: strong candidate. He's an Army veteran. He served in the
- 27:08Speaker 4: FBI and in law enforcement. He represented Michigan for decades.
- 27:14Speaker 4: And the energy on the ground was palpable. And I'll
- 27:16Speaker 4: tell you, people are really frightened about, you know, my
- 27:19Speaker 4: nickname for Al-Sayed was the jihadi leprechaun because he's a
- 27:25Speaker 4: little bitty guy. And actually, as I joked, the Irish
- 27:29Speaker 4: American Society issued a cease and desist order to ask
- 27:32Speaker 4: me to stop saying that. This guy, if Abdul Al-Sayed
- 27:39Speaker 4: is the next senator from Michigan, and understand that is
- 27:41Speaker 4: a very real possibility. This race is also, if not tied,
- 27:46Speaker 4: it's either plus one or two or minus one or two.
- 27:49Speaker 4: And the polls are all over the map, but they're
- 27:51Speaker 4: very close. If Abdul Al-Sayed is elected, it will move
- 27:56Speaker 4: the Democrat conference significantly to the left. And I've made
- 27:59Speaker 4: a prediction. If Abdul Al-Sayed is the next senator from Michigan,
- 28:05Speaker 4: I believe the Democrat nominee for president in 2028 will
- 28:09Speaker 4: be AOC. The knock against AOC in the Democrat primary
- 28:13Speaker 4: is she's too extreme to be elected in the general.
- 28:16Speaker 4: If Michigan, the quintessential swing state, elects an open communist
- 28:22Speaker 4: and Islamist, I think that argument gets blown out of
- 28:25Speaker 4: the water. And Look, Republicans might say, okay, that's great.
- 28:28Speaker 4: If AOC is the nominee, we win. Listen, we are
- 28:31Speaker 4: such a divided country that if you think it is
- 28:35Speaker 4: impossible for AOC to win the general, you have not
- 28:37Speaker 4: been paying attention. New York City on 9-11, could anyone
- 28:41Speaker 4: have imagined that Zoran Mondami would be the mayor of
- 28:44Speaker 4: New York City?
- 28:44Speaker 2: No.
- 28:46Speaker 4: I don't want to see a Democrat nominee who is
- 28:48Speaker 4: a radical communist who hates America. And so Michigan, I think,
- 28:53Speaker 4: matters enormously. I think we're going to win in Michigan.
- 28:56Speaker 4: the momentum on the ground. There was an enthusiasm on
- 28:59Speaker 4: the ground in Michigan that I actually think was greater
- 29:02Speaker 4: than I felt in any of the states I was
- 29:03Speaker 4: campaigning in. So Michigan, I'm bullish on. I feel good
- 29:07Speaker 4: about that. From there, I went to Iowa. And Iowa
- 29:13Speaker 4: is an incredible state. Ashley Hinson is running for Senate there.
- 29:16Speaker 4: I'm a big fan of Ashley. I think she's a
- 29:18Speaker 4: great Senate candidate. She's a young mom. She's got two
- 29:21Speaker 4: teenage boys at home. She's a member of the House
- 29:25Speaker 4: right now. She's representative Iowa, she reflects Iowa values, common
- 29:30Speaker 4: sense conservative values. Her Democrat opponent, Josh Turek, has an
- 29:37Speaker 4: extreme left-wing voting record. He's voted repeatedly on immigration in
- 29:42Speaker 4: favor of amnesty. He supports amnesty for illegal aliens who
- 29:47Speaker 4: are convicted of drunk driving, which is just horrific. We
- 29:51Speaker 4: were in a community where a young woman, 21-year-old woman,
- 29:54Speaker 4: just graduated from college, was killed by a drunk driver
- 29:58Speaker 4: who was an illegal alien, who had been convicted of
- 30:01Speaker 4: drunk driving previously and been released. And then he drunk
- 30:05Speaker 4: drove again and killed this young woman. He wants to
- 30:09Speaker 4: grant amnesty because he thinks apparently drunk drivers, if they're illegal,
- 30:14Speaker 4: that's who we want in this country. I don't even
- 30:15Speaker 4: understand the reasoning behind that, but that's who he is.
- 30:18Speaker 4: And I'll tell you on the transgender agenda, Josh Turek,
- 30:21Speaker 4: he's voted in favor of men in girls' bathrooms, in
- 30:25Speaker 4: favor of boys in girls' sports. He's voted in favor
- 30:28Speaker 4: of government funding for transgender sex change surgeries for children. Now,
- 30:36Speaker 4: he's doing what James Tallarico has done. James Tallarico's voting
- 30:38Speaker 4: record is almost identical. But both of them are running
- 30:41Speaker 4: TV ads claiming to oppose everything they voted for. They're
- 30:44Speaker 4: trying to lie to the voters. I think Ashley Hinson's
- 30:47Speaker 4: going to win in Iowa also, but it is turnout, turnout, turnout,
- 30:52Speaker 4: because what we're seeing in Iowa, like everyone else, is
- 30:55Speaker 4: a huge, huge turnout of the radical leftists. And the
- 30:59Speaker 4: question is, do the common sense Iowans turn out?
- 31:04Speaker 1: As we wrap this up, we've obviously gone state by state.
- 31:07Speaker 1: What is the closing message to voters that are sitting there,
- 31:10Speaker 1: maybe listening right now, Senator, they're saying, you know what,
- 31:13Speaker 1: I just don't, I'm not that enthusiastic about where we are.
- 31:16Speaker 1: I think you got to explain what's at stake here
- 31:18Speaker 1: and why they should go out and vote.
- 31:22Speaker 4: Well, let me finish the last state on this run,
- 31:24Speaker 4: which is Kansas. So I'm in Kansas right now.
- 31:26Speaker 3: I'm in Wichita.
- 31:27Speaker 4: We're going to do a big rally tomorrow morning. Roger
- 31:29Speaker 4: Marshall's the incumbent Republican senator. This is an exceptionally close race.
- 31:36Speaker 4: If you look at Republicans who have a real possibility
- 31:38Speaker 4: of potentially losing, Kansas is near the top of the list. Now,
- 31:43Speaker 4: I like Roger. He's a good friend of mine. He's
- 31:44Speaker 4: been a good senator. He's a conservative. And yet Kansas,
- 31:48Speaker 4: you've got farmers who are unhappy. They're unhappy because diesel
- 31:52Speaker 4: prices are high. They're unhappy because fertilizer price is high.
- 31:56Speaker 4: They're just grumpy. And the Democrats did a good job
- 31:59Speaker 4: of candidate recruiting. They recruited a very, very liberal pastor
- 32:03Speaker 4: of a mega church in Kansas City. Now, he is
- 32:09Speaker 4: just about as much of a whack job as James Tallarico,
- 32:12Speaker 4: who also is a seminarian. They both use.
- 32:17Speaker 4: The sort of vestige of Christianity to cover extreme left-wing views.
- 32:22Speaker 4: But this liberal pastor has preached from the pulpit that
- 32:29Speaker 4: in heaven we won't just see Christians, we'll see Jews
- 32:32Speaker 4: and Muslims and people of all sorts of different persuasions.
- 32:35Speaker 4: It doesn't matter if you actually believe in Jesus to
- 32:37Speaker 4: whether you'll be saved. Now look, there are differences in denominations.
- 32:43Speaker 4: You know, baptism, you can believe... You and I are
- 32:45Speaker 4: both Baptist. You can believe in immersion or you can
- 32:47Speaker 4: believe in sprinkling. Those differences are okay. I don't think
- 32:51Speaker 4: those differences are the end of the world one way
- 32:53Speaker 4: or the other. There is nothing more fundamental to Christianity
- 32:59Speaker 4: than the understanding that Jesus is the path to salvation.
- 33:04Speaker 4: I am the way, the truth, and the life. No
- 33:06Speaker 4: man comes to the Father but by me. That is
- 33:08Speaker 4: what Jesus said. And you've got a pastor who preaches
- 33:12Speaker 4: against that, and yet this guy is tied or maybe
- 33:15Speaker 4: even leading. And so the question in Kansas, in Iowa,
- 33:20Speaker 4: in Michigan, in North Carolina, in South Carolina, in Georgia,
- 33:24Speaker 4: and in Texas is turnout, turnout, turnout. I'm begging you,
- 33:28Speaker 4: if you love America, if you love the Constitution, if
- 33:31Speaker 4: you don't want to see communists and Islamists taking over
- 33:35Speaker 4: the Democrat Party and taking over America, show up and
- 33:37Speaker 4: vote and bring everyone you.
- 33:39Speaker 1: As always, thank you for listening to Verdict with Senator
- 33:42Speaker 1: Ted Cruz. Ben Ferguson with you. Don't forget to download
- 33:45Speaker 1: my podcast and you can listen to my podcast every
- 33:47Speaker 1: other day you're not listening to Verdict or each day
- 33:49Speaker 1: when you listen to Verdict afterwards. I'd love to have
- 33:52Speaker 1: you as a listener to, again, the Ben Ferguson podcast.
- 33:55Speaker 1: And we will see you back here on Monday morning.
