- 0:00Dayna Roselli: It's Vegas Revealed, episode 95, and we hit up a Milan-inspired happy hour on the strip.
- 0:07SPEAKER_00: So if you were to go to uh to Milan, Italy, the Brera neighborhood is this very fashionable neighborhood, and it's really where the happy hour was born.
- 0:17Dayna Roselli: More from the Venetian and Palazzo as the resorts kick off their season of sparkle.
- 0:22Sean McAllister: And Whitney Houston's hologram has a starring role at Hera's.
- 0:27Sean McAllister: We just went to see this tribute show, and you'll hear our take on the virtual diva that's coming up.
- 0:34Dayna Roselli: Plus, the world famous Cronut is coming to Las Vegas.
- 0:38Sean McAllister: Spin that wheel.
- 0:44SPEAKER_00: Let's go to Vegas, baby.
- 0:46SPEAKER_00: Let's go tonight.
- 0:48SPEAKER_00: Let's go to Vegas.
- 0:50SPEAKER_00: Let's stay on night.
- 0:52Dayna Roselli: Welcome to Vegas Revealed episode 95.
- 0:55Dayna Roselli: Dana Roselli here, along with Sean McAllister.
- 0:58Dayna Roselli: How are you?
- 0:59Sean McAllister: I'm good.
- 1:00Sean McAllister: Although I feel like it kind of stemming from our text conversation this morning, I feel kind of like an old man.
- 1:06Dayna Roselli: Yeah, this morning Sean told me, you guys, that he was going for a morning stroll.
- 1:11Dayna Roselli: And I was like, what are you?
- 1:12Dayna Roselli: Like 75?
- 1:14Dayna Roselli: Like, what's the deal?
- 1:15Dayna Roselli: And he's like, Well, I was gonna get my dungarees and cardigan out now that you speak of it.
- 1:20Dayna Roselli: But I just thought it was so funny you called it a stroll.
- 1:22Dayna Roselli: I don't know why it struck me funny.
- 1:26Dayna Roselli: I just picture you going for a stroll.
- 1:29Dayna Roselli: I don't know.
- 1:29Dayna Roselli: I just felt like you should have said walk.
- 1:31Sean McAllister: And as fate would have it, I'm sitting here in a cardigan and my dungarees.
- 1:36Dayna Roselli: You sure are.
- 1:36Dayna Roselli: But listen, you know, we gotta get our exercise in.
- 1:39Dayna Roselli: So whatever works.
- 1:40Dayna Roselli: The weather continues to be absolutely amazing here in Las Vegas.
- 1:43Dayna Roselli: Uh, we're going through a little bit of a cool down next week.
- 1:47Dayna Roselli: So, you know, when I say cool down, we're talking like highs of 67.
- 1:51Sean McAllister: Yeah, it's de it's definitely we're kind of getting out of pool season at this point, unless it's a heated pool.
- 1:58Sean McAllister: However, if you're sitting outside during the day in the sunlight, it really is still really nice and toasty.
- 2:05Dayna Roselli: It really is.
- 2:06Sean McAllister: You go into the shadows, that's another story.
- 2:08Sean McAllister: You might need a light jacket, but in the sun, Vegas is still the place to be.
- 2:13Dayna Roselli: And Hara's was the place to be last Sunday for us because we went to this brand new Whitney Houston show.
- 2:21Dayna Roselli: Yes, we know Whitney has passed.
- 2:23Dayna Roselli: Obviously, lost an incredible, incredible singer, but there's been a lot of talk about this show that was coming to Las Vegas, and we finally got a chance to see it.
- 2:33Dayna Roselli: It's at Hara's, and it's a Whitney Houston hologram show.
- 2:38Dayna Roselli: It's a show called An Evening with Whitney.
- 2:40Sean McAllister: And this is something that's been talked about for years.
- 2:44Sean McAllister: There's always rumors about these hologram shows uh popping up in tribute to artists who are no longer with us.
- 2:52Sean McAllister: And uh I believe I know that holograms have been used in other shows on the Las Vegas strip.
- 2:59Sean McAllister: Celine Dion has had uh several holograms that have been included into her show that was at Caesar's Palace.
- 3:07Sean McAllister: Uh Michael Jackson One by Cirque du Solet.
- 3:10Sean McAllister: I believe there's a Michael Jackson hologram in that show as well.
- 3:14Dayna Roselli: Yes.
- 3:15Dayna Roselli: He makes an appearance toward the end.
- 3:16Sean McAllister: Yes, but this is the first show where a hologram uh has a starring role.
- 3:23Sean McAllister: And Dana, I have to say that uh this digital diva version of Whitney Houston was still late.
- 3:32Sean McAllister: The curtain did not go up at six o'clock when it was supposed to.
- 3:36Dayna Roselli: It was very consistent, right?
- 3:38Sean McAllister: Hologram Whitney was eight minutes late.
- 3:41Dayna Roselli: Oh boy.
- 3:42Dayna Roselli: Yeah, I mean it was listen, packed there.
- 3:44Dayna Roselli: Um the lobby was packed, getting in.
- 3:46Dayna Roselli: So many people came out to see this show, and it was a full house.
- 3:51Dayna Roselli: So, first of all, I went onto Instagram and I talked about how incredible Whitney Houston's catalog of music is.
- 3:59Dayna Roselli: It's unreal.
- 4:00Dayna Roselli: Her songs, and we'll get into that later.
- 4:03Dayna Roselli: But the biggest response question I got from that was, but was the hologram creepy?
- 4:11Dayna Roselli: Like everyone kept saying, what was it like?
- 4:12Dayna Roselli: Was it creepy?
- 4:13Dayna Roselli: Was it creepy?
- 4:14Dayna Roselli: That was like the number one question I kept getting, was it creepy?
- 4:16Dayna Roselli: And I'm like, well, we'll answer that on the podcast.
- 4:19Sean McAllister: Yeah, and I at least for me, I didn't get a creepy feel out of the the hologram or the the production.
- 4:29Sean McAllister: Um there were things that I would have personally done differently in the production of the show, but I didn't think that the the hologram itself was creepy.
- 4:40Dayna Roselli: I didn't either.
- 4:41Dayna Roselli: And you know, the hologram's kind of, and these are one this is one of the things that we were saying, it's kind of set back because they have to do it a certain way.
- 4:47Dayna Roselli: So it wasn't like at the front of the stage, like right in front of you, where like it was, you know, Whitney standing there looking down at you.
- 4:54Dayna Roselli: It was set back a little bit, which probably adds to the uncreepiness of it.
- 5:01Dayna Roselli: You know what I mean?
- 5:02Dayna Roselli: Like, um, you know, it was a hologram, and you really couldn't like sp target in on reading her lips because they didn't put the hologram on either of the side screens.
- 5:14Dayna Roselli: There's two side screens at Harris, and normally if there were someone like when Donnie Osmond, you know, did his show, like you would, you know, see some shots where you know he would come up on the side screen, or there would be some clips showing of like when he performed as a kid and things like that, but they kind of kept these two side screens mostly just like colorful, like different kinds of like you know, color light shows.
- 5:36Dayna Roselli: There was blank, there were no concert footage, there was no close-ups of Whitney, there was no close-ups of the hologram.
- 5:42Dayna Roselli: So Whitney was really set back on the stage.
- 5:44Sean McAllister: Yeah, and the hologram for me because I think it was set back, it probably is true to life in you know the size, the depiction of Whitney, but it looked really small on the stage.
- 6:00Sean McAllister: It didn't look like it was a commanding presence.
- 6:04Sean McAllister: And when you're building a show around a hologram, you would imagine that you would want it to have the feel of kind of a commanding presence, like Whitney would have.
- 6:15Sean McAllister: Um now I will just put this out there right now.
- 6:19Sean McAllister: Dana and I are not experts in hologram technology.
- 6:24Sean McAllister: So we are not aware of any of the limitations that may be in place in putting a hologram show together.
- 6:33Sean McAllister: However, these are just our impressions from seeing the show.
- 6:37Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 6:38Dayna Roselli: But Whitney did have how many?
- 6:40Dayna Roselli: Because your husband marked it down, costume changes.
- 6:43Sean McAllister: Oh, I think there were There were like six.
- 6:45Sean McAllister: I was gonna say six or eight.
- 6:47Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 6:48Sean McAllister: She has There were at least a half dozen costume changes.
- 6:50Dayna Roselli: And you did recognize a lot of them from different shows that she's kind of put on through the years that are you know, no iconic outfits and yeah, all that.
- 6:58Dayna Roselli: But because of that, uh something you and I talked about was like we would have liked to see some concert footage maybe from that specific performance or when she was wearing that outfit.
- 7:09Dayna Roselli: And I don't know why that was left out.
- 7:11Dayna Roselli: There has to be a reason.
- 7:12Dayna Roselli: I don't know what it could be, but we think that would have added a lot to the ambiance and excitement of especially some of the like really faster songs, or maybe some of the slower ones, you know, you'd have that moment where people were kind of waving their hands in the air, maybe you know, flick on the lighter, or you know, those moments.
- 7:31Dayna Roselli: But we wished that those side screens had that just to kind of bring more of the concert feel.
- 7:37Dayna Roselli: Um, I did love when she stood solo with just the light on her and sang some of the really powerful ballads.
- 7:43Dayna Roselli: I thought that was okay to kind of leave maybe the crowd out, but you know, I don't know why I feel like that would have added so much.
- 7:50Sean McAllister: It really would have.
- 7:51Sean McAllister: And especially uh obviously there's a digital version of Whitney up on the stage in hologram form, so they had to have been working off of some digital image of her.
- 8:03Sean McAllister: So you would think that they would be able to put up images like close-up shots on those side screens to give that feel like it was a live concert situation.
- 8:17Sean McAllister: Um but I don't know.
- 8:19Sean McAllister: I don't know whether it's uh a technology thing or whether, you know, not including concert footage, if there are, you know, copyrights that come into play with any of that.
- 8:32Sean McAllister: Who knows?
- 8:32Dayna Roselli: Yeah, makes sense.
- 8:33Dayna Roselli: Yeah, I mean there could be, yeah, right.
- 8:35Dayna Roselli: We don't know the reason, but that we we think if that was allowed that that would have added to the show.
- 8:41Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 8:41Dayna Roselli: But the thing is, is um listen, her catalog of music is incredible.
- 8:46Dayna Roselli: You and I were saying the greatest love of all.
- 8:48Dayna Roselli: We all we all looked at each other at our booth and were like, that song from beginning to end is so good, so powerful.
- 8:53Dayna Roselli: Like literally the hair was standing up on my arms.
- 8:56Dayna Roselli: Um, and the crowd loved it.
- 8:57Dayna Roselli: Everyone knows the words to Whitney Houston's music.
- 9:00Dayna Roselli: So people were singing the words, people were moving their heads and bobbing and the entire time.
- 9:04Sean McAllister: The entire time throughout the whole show.
- 9:06Sean McAllister: People were people were up clapping.
- 9:09Sean McAllister: There were people who would get up to either go to the bar or the bathroom and they'd come back to their seats dancing down the aisle.
- 9:15Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 9:16Sean McAllister: So people were definitely into it.
- 9:18Dayna Roselli: Yes.
- 9:19Dayna Roselli: And she does have two male dancers and two uh female dancers uh that also sing some backup vocals.
- 9:26Dayna Roselli: Like if they're supposed to be backup, they sing that.
- 9:28Dayna Roselli: So they add to it a little bit.
- 9:30Dayna Roselli: The dancers were very energized.
- 9:32Dayna Roselli: Sean's giggling because I looked at them at one point, I was like, wow, these dancers are really into it.
- 9:38Dayna Roselli: Um and they're they're uh they're fun to watch.
- 9:42Sean McAllister: I feel like they were kind of overcompensating for the fact that there wasn't actually a real person who was headlining the show.
- 9:50Dayna Roselli: It's a tough gig.
- 9:51Dayna Roselli: Listen, the whole thing, it's tough.
- 9:52Dayna Roselli: But you know, did we did it make us smile?
- 9:55Sean McAllister: It made us smile.
- 9:56Sean McAllister: It did.
- 9:56Sean McAllister: We had a good time.
- 9:57Sean McAllister: And listen, I I will say this it the show was fun.
- 10:02Sean McAllister: We had a good time at the show.
- 10:04Dayna Roselli: We did.
- 10:05Dayna Roselli: And the vibe was great.
- 10:06Dayna Roselli: Um, and I think, you know, they had a really um great number at the end that was high energy.
- 10:11Dayna Roselli: And, you know, listen, when she sings I will always love you, it's a great way to end, but they ended on an up note with, you know, a really I think it was is it I Wanna Dance With Somebody?
- 10:21Dayna Roselli: I can't think of what song it was, but it was great.
- 10:23Dayna Roselli: Anyway, everyone left happy in the lobby.
- 10:26Dayna Roselli: They have some of Whitney's costumes on display.
- 10:28Sean McAllister: Yeah, that was cool.
- 10:29Dayna Roselli: That was really cool.
- 10:30Dayna Roselli: I mean, I think if you love Whitney Houston and you love her music, then you should see the show and you will enjoy it.
- 10:37Sean McAllister: You will, yeah.
- 10:38Sean McAllister: And and uh it's talking about those costumes, I was amazed at how tiny she is.
- 10:43Sean McAllister: Like she was uh tall but she was tiny, like around the waist and everything.
- 10:48Sean McAllister: Right, very small.
- 10:49Sean McAllister: I was surprised seeing those costumes.
- 10:51Sean McAllister: So an evening with Whitney is at Hara's Las Vegas in the showroom uh that is shared with Donnie Osmond.
- 11:00Dayna Roselli: Speaking of shows, one of Las Vegas' favorite comedians, Carrot Top, is celebrating his 16th anniversary.
- 11:07Dayna Roselli: The Sweet 16 coming up over at the Luxor.
- 11:10Dayna Roselli: We thought we'd give Carrot Top a shout out.
- 11:12Dayna Roselli: One of my favorites, I go to a show and I just cry laughing.
- 11:15Dayna Roselli: He is absolutely hilarious.
- 11:17Dayna Roselli: I have had people come to town, Sean, so many times and say, I don't know if I want to go to Caratop.
- 11:22Dayna Roselli: And we're like, come on, we need to go to Caratop.
- 11:23Dayna Roselli: You have to see it.
- 11:24Dayna Roselli: It's so funny.
- 11:24Dayna Roselli: And they're like, Carrotop?
- 11:27Dayna Roselli: You know, because they're they're used to maybe seeing him on the you know the the 1-800 call collect commercials or being on one of the late night shows.
- 11:34Dayna Roselli: Late night, and maybe they think it's not their thing like he has props, and I'm like, no, everyone leaves going, that was the funniest show.
- 11:40Sean McAllister: He really is funny.
- 11:41Sean McAllister: They're caratops.
- 11:42Sean McAllister: He's hilarious.
- 11:43Dayna Roselli: He's so off the cuff, which is great.
- 11:45Dayna Roselli: A lot of his material is planned, he's always coming up with new props.
- 11:48Dayna Roselli: We see his name's Scott in real life.
- 11:50Dayna Roselli: We see Scott around town, always really nice, and and just he's he's good for Vegas, and he he goes back and forth from uh here in Florida, where he's uh from, and I think has another home, does shows all over the country, but he's based here in Las Vegas, and we're excited he's celebrating his 16th year, and we can expect to see him around a little longer.
- 12:09Sean McAllister: So when you come to town, you can uh go see Carrot Tops.
- 12:13Sean McAllister: Wish him a happy sweet 16 over at the Luxor.
- 12:17Dayna Roselli: The first residency type show is coming to the theater at Virgin Hotel.
- 12:22Dayna Roselli: Journey is gonna be playing a slew of performances at the theater, which used to be the joint at the Hard Rock, just to kind of clear that up because a lot of people don't remember that.
- 12:33Dayna Roselli: But Journey's kicking off December 1st, and they're doing a bunch of shows, and it's all kind of centered around NFR.
- 12:40Sean McAllister: That's right.
- 12:41Sean McAllister: NFR is gonna be in town the first week of December.
- 12:44Sean McAllister: Um, and man, that just brings in so many people, and I have a feeling those Journey shows are going to be absolutely packed.
- 12:53Sean McAllister: Last time I saw Journey here in Vegas, it was actually at The Joint.
- 12:58Sean McAllister: And it was a great show, so much energy.
- 13:01Sean McAllister: And of course, uh it's the songs that uh everybody knows and sings along to, right, which is just a blast.
- 13:09Dayna Roselli: I mean, you know, every wedding plays.
- 13:12Sean McAllister: Don't stop believing.
- 13:14Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 13:14Dayna Roselli: And I have some memories of a lot of different friends through the years kind of taking on that song on the dance floor.
- 13:21Sean McAllister: That can be a that can be a a beast of a song if someone doesn't have good vocal range.
- 13:27Dayna Roselli: So December 1st to 2nd, 7th to 8th, 10th to 9th, uh AEG presents Journey over at the theater.
- 13:34Sean McAllister: Hey, and there's been something going on here in Las Vegas over the past week.
- 13:38Sean McAllister: Um there have been a string of jackpots that have been won both on slot machines and on table games, and uh we want to get into that in just a few minutes, but first we're gonna talk about our apertivo hour over at the Venetian.
- 14:00Dayna Roselli: We talk about the Venetian often here on the podcast.
- 14:03Dayna Roselli: It really is some place that we spend a lot of time, uh, we enjoy it, and we don't hide what we enjoy.
- 14:10Dayna Roselli: So we went to a culinary trend tour and we hit a happy hour, and then we also went over to Mott 32 and had a new plant-based menu.
- 14:19Dayna Roselli: So it sounds like if you're not into that, you're like, eh, that's not for me.
- 14:23Dayna Roselli: Well, listen and we're gonna talk more about that.
- 14:26Dayna Roselli: First, though, we hit an incredible happy hour right there in St.
- 14:30Dayna Roselli: Mark's Square, and they had delicious, very uh visually pleasing cocktails.
- 14:37Dayna Roselli: It was amazing.
- 14:38Dayna Roselli: And while there, we pulled aside the Venetians Keith Sawaski to talk to him about everything going on at the Venetian from shows to holiday events, and just you know, got his take on on how the Venetians are doing and what they have planned for the upcoming year.
- 14:56Dayna Roselli: Okay, Sean, we are on the culinary trend tour.
- 14:59Dayna Roselli: I feel so hip.
- 15:02Sean McAllister: I know.
- 15:02Sean McAllister: Uh I it is kind of a hip thing because this we're starting in a place that really this whole concept was derived in Milan, Italy.
- 15:12Sean McAllister: And now we're sitting here in the heart of the Las Vegas strip experiencing all this.
- 15:16unknown: Right.
- 15:17Dayna Roselli: I mean, it's pretty crazy.
- 15:18Dayna Roselli: But listen, we want to talk about the Venetian because they were just voted again, I should say.
- 15:23Dayna Roselli: It's been a few years now that you've been voted by Conde Nas for from the readers as the number one resort casino in Las Vegas, which I get because it's beautiful.
- 15:34Dayna Roselli: And also, Keith, free parking.
- 15:38SPEAKER_00: Yes, uh that that is something that uh our guests uh certainly love.
- 15:42SPEAKER_00: Uh but uh yeah, it's the fourth year in a row that the readers of Condi Nas Traveler um have voted us number one uh Las Vegas resorts.
- 15:50Dayna Roselli: I mean, listen, it's a great resort.
- 15:52Dayna Roselli: You've got the Venetian and the Palazzo, they come together beautifully.
- 15:55Dayna Roselli: Um Sean and I are here all the time.
- 15:57Dayna Roselli: I feel like we're here like every other weekend.
- 15:59Sean McAllister: We we really are.
- 16:00Sean McAllister: First of all, it couldn't be easier.
- 16:02Sean McAllister: This is the easiest resort to get in and out of on the Las Vegas strip, period.
- 16:09Sean McAllister: And for that reason alone, it's why I come here.
- 16:13Dayna Roselli: Yeah, I know, I know.
- 16:14Dayna Roselli: It's true.
- 16:15Dayna Roselli: Um but you know, we are at a happy hour right now in St.
- 16:18Dayna Roselli: Mark's Square, which is amazing.
- 16:20Dayna Roselli: And this is a really fun event we're doing.
- 16:21Dayna Roselli: And next we're gonna stop at Mott 32 and we're gonna have some vegetarian dishes, which are very on trend right now, aren't they?
- 16:28SPEAKER_00: Yeah, um in terms of the plant-based menus, um, all the research that we have found, uh, it looks like 2022 will be the year that they really hit the tipping point.
- 16:38SPEAKER_00: You'll find more plant-based items on menus and restaurants where you typically didn't before.
- 16:45SPEAKER_00: And a great example is Mod32, which is this fabulous high-end Asian restaurant, and they've recreated some of their best entrees, their most popular entrees, completely meatless, but you'd have no idea.
- 16:57SPEAKER_00: I know.
- 16:58Dayna Roselli: I'm looking forward to trying that.
- 16:59Dayna Roselli: So we'll talk about it after the interview because we're recording this on location.
- 17:02Dayna Roselli: But I have a feeling I'm gonna really like it because I feel like vegetarian dishes and plant-based dishes have gotten tastier and tastier over the years, and so we're really excited about that.
- 17:12Sean McAllister: But we're starting this trend tour here at uh Brera.
- 17:16Sean McAllister: And this is uh uh, as I said before, a very Milan-based happy hour concept.
- 17:24Sean McAllister: Explain what Dana and I have just experienced.
- 17:28SPEAKER_00: So if you were to go to uh to Milan, Italy, the Brera neighborhood is this very fashionable neighborhood, and it's really where the happy hour was born, and it's called the Apertivo Hour.
- 17:39SPEAKER_00: And and uh the two people in Milan, you go after work, but before dinner.
- 17:43SPEAKER_00: It's a place to hang out with friends, it's a place to have cocktails, and it's a place to have um appetizers and and bites before dinner.
- 17:51SPEAKER_00: Um so we've recreated that experience here, and and it's really it's the best deal in town in terms of a happy hour.
- 17:57SPEAKER_00: It's 50% off uh drinks, uh cocktails, wine, beer, and 50% off the pizzas.
- 18:03SPEAKER_00: So, and every drink you have, the chef sends out another bite for you to try.
- 18:07SPEAKER_00: So uh it's it's it's very popular.
- 18:09Dayna Roselli: I mean, listen, you had me at 50% off, and then you had me at pizza because this pizza we just had was incredible, and the meatballs, all the dishes.
- 18:16Sean McAllister: I mean, everything here is d incredibly delicious and pleasing to the eye on top of that.
- 18:24Sean McAllister: The cocktails are incredible as well.
- 18:26Sean McAllister: But you have the season of sparkle that is upon us now, too, here at the Venetian and Palazzo.
- 18:32SPEAKER_00: Yeah, the holidays are a great time to to uh visit the Venetian, and we've got uh lots of activities this year.
- 18:39SPEAKER_00: We've got a new show in the Palazzo Theater called This Is Christmas.
- 18:42SPEAKER_00: It it stars a lot of uh a lot of the people from American Idol um and some others from Broadway and a live band uh uh here in the shops.
- 18:51SPEAKER_00: Uh there's uh a new Street Mosphere show for the for the holidays.
- 18:55SPEAKER_00: Uh we've got uh all kinds of things in our restaurants.
- 18:58SPEAKER_00: There's the ugly sweater party, um at Black Tap, and Buddy Velastro, the cake boss, is is having uh uh a brunch, a Christmas brunch at his restaurant, and uh lots of fun things going on throughout the whole entire resort.
- 19:11Dayna Roselli: Oh my gosh, yeah, I was looking at the whole list.
- 19:13Dayna Roselli: I mean it's it's great.
- 19:14Dayna Roselli: I love it.
- 19:14Dayna Roselli: And you guys are having some some big cyber deals right now too, right?
- 19:18SPEAKER_00: Yeah, um our our best deals of the year are during what we call Cyber Month.
- 19:22SPEAKER_00: Uh and uh instead of focusing just on Black Friday or or Cyber Monday, um, the entire month of November, uh, we've got uh deals.
- 19:30SPEAKER_00: It's our our best deals of the year, and there are uh added bonuses that you only get uh this time of the year.
- 19:36SPEAKER_00: And uh those can be booked right on our website at VenetianLasVegas.com.
- 19:40Sean McAllister: So you have about uh a week and a few days left to act on Cyber Month and take advantage of everything here at uh the Venetian.
- 19:51Sean McAllister: So be sure to do that.
- 19:53Sean McAllister: And you guys are always, I feel like there's always something new at the Venetian, like it's never a stagnant atmosphere here.
- 20:03Sean McAllister: There's always energy when I come and park for free at the Venetian and Palazzo.
- 20:09SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, we're always reinventing the experience.
- 20:12SPEAKER_00: And uh, you know, in terms of our restaurants, for instance, in the last four years, we've opened 12 new restaurants uh in in uh in this uh resort.
- 20:20SPEAKER_00: Uh and uh and so that's really been a focus.
- 20:24SPEAKER_00: Uh and uh you know, with having four theaters in the nightclub and uh um you know 40 restaurants, there there's always something going on which is which makes me so proud to to work here and uh there's always something fun to talk about.
- 20:38SPEAKER_00: Uh you know, so we're so we're we're always pretty busy here.
- 20:41Dayna Roselli: And I can only imagine there's a lot on your plate every day, having to keep up with all of that.
- 20:45SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you know, we're we're just we're a little bed and breakfast here and uh on the strip.
- 20:49Dayna Roselli: So uh no, but listen, and I'm just gonna be honest, you don't even have to answer this, but Sean and I talk about this all the time.
- 20:55Dayna Roselli: The the shows that have been coming and going in that theater with what have we seen there?
- 21:00Dayna Roselli: I've seen the after party.
- 21:01Dayna Roselli: We saw Debbie Gibson and Joey McIntyre, we saw Derek Huff.
- 21:05Dayna Roselli: I mean, I love that things are are changing up often.
- 21:08Dayna Roselli: I feel like it keeps people engaged.
- 21:10SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and we've also partnered with um Live Nation in the Venetian theater.
- 21:15SPEAKER_00: So a lot of the um a lot of the more classic acts um will come here for uh for short runs.
- 21:22SPEAKER_00: Uh so whenever you're in town, you should check to see who's here.
- 21:26SPEAKER_00: But uh, you know, we've had everyone from Willie Nelson to ZZ Top and uh and and whatnot.
- 21:32SPEAKER_00: So uh you know essentially anyone who's touring loves to come through Vegas, and the Venetian theater is such a gorgeous venue uh that uh you know they they love to do these more extended runs there.
- 21:44Sean McAllister: And uh in the background you may hear some of the free entertainment kicking up here in St.
- 21:50Sean McAllister: Mark's Square at the Venetian uh, you know, whether it's an experience that you're spending some of your hard earned money.
- 22:00Sean McAllister: For or an experience that is just part of the atmosphere.
- 22:04Sean McAllister: The Venetian is really it's top-notch.
- 22:07Sean McAllister: And that's why the the readers of Condoness Traveler have voted this property once again the top property in Las Vegas.
- 22:14Dayna Roselli: Listen, Keith, thanks for sharing your time with us.
- 22:16Dayna Roselli: We love it.
- 22:16Dayna Roselli: We follow your tweets.
- 22:17Dayna Roselli: We love all the information.
- 22:19Dayna Roselli: We love what you're doing.
- 22:20Dayna Roselli: Thank you.
- 22:21Dayna Roselli: Thank you very much.
- 22:22Dayna Roselli: And you know, Sean, we always say we do not talk things up if we don't we don't just BS.
- 22:28Dayna Roselli: What's the truth?
- 22:29Dayna Roselli: We do come here often and we love it.
- 22:31Dayna Roselli: And and when we get a chance, when we said we were coming here tonight, we go, you know what?
- 22:34Dayna Roselli: I want to talk about all the great things that the Venetian is doing because we've really enjoyed our time here over the last year.
- 22:39Sean McAllister: We really have.
- 22:40Sean McAllister: And it kind of, you know, dates back to this was the original home of Vegas Revealed back when we launched the podcast, and we look forward to the day that we get to be back here.
- 22:53unknown: Yes.
- 22:53Dayna Roselli: I mean, we may have to use sanitizer, but that's okay.
- 22:56Dayna Roselli: Things are just a bit different.
- 22:58Dayna Roselli: That's okay.
- 22:58Dayna Roselli: That's why we're drinking alcoholic drinks right now.
- 23:00Dayna Roselli: It kind of just clears the system.
- 23:02Sean McAllister: A sign of the times.
- 23:04Sean McAllister: And we evolve with the changing world.
- 23:07Sean McAllister: We love it.
- 23:11Dayna Roselli: We had a great time, and just a reminder that happy hour is daily, 3 to 5 p.m.
- 23:17Dayna Roselli: If you want to get over there for a bunch of that 50% off wine, beer, cocktails, pizza, complimentary bites with the chef.
- 23:23Dayna Roselli: It's a great happy hour and a beautiful setting.
- 23:26Sean McAllister: But if you want to be trendy, you call happy hour aperativo hour.
- 23:30Sean McAllister: That's right.
- 23:31Sean McAllister: That's the Italian way to do it.
- 23:32Dayna Roselli: Right, and this is how it differs from like American happy hours, you know.
- 23:36Dayna Roselli: Like we have like, you know, dollar drafts and mozzarella poppers, right?
- 23:39Sean McAllister: Right, and I love those.
- 23:41Dayna Roselli: But here we had a pumpkin teeny and an Aparel Spritz with a giant olive.
- 23:47Dayna Roselli: Right, with a giant olive, which I loved.
- 23:50Dayna Roselli: But this is kind of like they do like fresh snacks and crisp cocktails, and apparently they are made with sweet liquor and diluted by sparkling water, which are thought to kind of wet the appetite, but also apparently encourage digestion.
- 24:07Dayna Roselli: Really?
- 24:08Dayna Roselli: And I thought that was really interesting.
- 24:10Dayna Roselli: Huh.
- 24:10Dayna Roselli: So there's a method to this whole Italian happy hour.
- 24:14Sean McAllister: So this is like the Italian version of the amuse bouche.
- 24:17Dayna Roselli: Uh yeah.
- 24:18Dayna Roselli: Whatever that means.
- 24:20Sean McAllister: What does that mean?
- 24:21Sean McAllister: Well, it's like a it it amuses your palate.
- 24:24Sean McAllister: Okay.
- 24:24Sean McAllister: And gets it ready to have like uh an actual meal.
- 24:28Sean McAllister: Right.
- 24:28Sean McAllister: Like little bites that get you ready to really chow down.
- 24:32Dayna Roselli: Well, so listen, Sean and I are from Rochester, New York, so uh for us it was always dollar drafts and mozzarella sticks.
- 24:37Sean McAllister: Always.
- 24:38Sean McAllister: Always.
- 24:39Sean McAllister: Usually probably pitchers too.
- 24:42Sean McAllister: Five dollar pitchers of Jenny Light.
- 24:44Dayna Roselli: Oh yeah, Jenny Light.
- 24:45Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 24:46Dayna Roselli: That was we were living on Jenny Light.
- 24:47Sean McAllister: Or Labat Blue.
- 24:48Dayna Roselli: Or Milwaukee's Best.
- 24:50Dayna Roselli: If you really wanted to go cheap, if you were having like a bonfire or something.
- 24:52Dayna Roselli: All right.
- 24:53Dayna Roselli: Well, that's stories for another time.
- 24:55Dayna Roselli: Um, okay, so we moved over to Mott 32, and you heard in the interview we hadn't gone there yet.
- 24:58Dayna Roselli: So now we've gone, and we had this plant-based menu, and it was delicious.
- 25:03Dayna Roselli: We are not lying, we really, really enjoyed it.
- 25:05Dayna Roselli: And I don't mean that we lie or you think we lie.
- 25:07Dayna Roselli: I'm just really gonna say we really enjoyed the food.
- 25:10Sean McAllister: It was, it was so good, and usually when I think about going in and having a plant-based meal, I I feel like I'm going to miss having the protein mixed in.
- 25:24Sean McAllister: I'll I'm missing having the fish or the chicken or the steak.
- 25:29Sean McAllister: But after this meal, I didn't miss any of that.
- 25:31Sean McAllister: It didn't even cross my mind that we didn't have it.
- 25:35Dayna Roselli: No, it was good.
- 25:36Dayna Roselli: We had like a like noodle dish, which was amazing.
- 25:39Dayna Roselli: That was really good.
- 25:40Dayna Roselli: We had these dumplings to start, and they're called soup dumplings, okay?
- 25:43Dayna Roselli: And we learned that you're supposed to poke the dumpling in the spoon, and then all the kind of like hot liquid comes out, and then you spoon it into your mouth with like the hot liquid.
- 25:53Dayna Roselli: So it's like a like a soup dumpl.
- 25:55Dayna Roselli: Well, it is, it's soup dumpling.
- 25:56Dayna Roselli: That's what we learned.
- 25:57Dayna Roselli: You poke it.
- 25:58Sean McAllister: And they're so good.
- 25:59Sean McAllister: I didn't know that you were supposed to pierce the dumpling before eating it.
- 26:02Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 26:03Sean McAllister: I always just popped it whole into my mouth, and then I'd have like a whole mouthful all of a sudden of hot soup.
- 26:10Sean McAllister: So poking it and letting it cool down in the spoon is a good idea.
- 26:14Sean McAllister: It is.
- 26:14Dayna Roselli: It was good.
- 26:15Dayna Roselli: We were all like, oh wow.
- 26:16Dayna Roselli: I was like, let me try that again.
- 26:17Dayna Roselli: Yeah, but I mentioned the noodles.
- 26:19Dayna Roselli: We had woke fried flat rice noodle, sliced in quotations, beef, bean sprouts, uh, soya sauce.
- 26:26Dayna Roselli: We had some sauteed shredded, in quotes, pork, because it's not real pork, wood ear fungus, carrot, bamboo, shoot, chinese chives, chili bean sauce.
- 26:35Dayna Roselli: That was the mix we had there.
- 26:36Dayna Roselli: That was my favorite.
- 26:37Sean McAllister: We had wood ear fungus.
- 26:38Dayna Roselli: Yeah, we had wood ear fungus.
- 26:40Dayna Roselli: Did you know that?
- 26:40Dayna Roselli: I'm looking at the menu.
- 26:41Sean McAllister: Is that another word for mushroom?
- 26:43Sean McAllister: I think so.
- 26:44Sean McAllister: Okay.
- 26:45Dayna Roselli: Um, uh, it was good.
- 26:47Dayna Roselli: Anyway, it was delicious.
- 26:48Dayna Roselli: If you want to get over to Mott 32, they already have a great menu, but so many more people are really into plant-based food.
- 26:55Dayna Roselli: So I think it's great.
- 26:56Dayna Roselli: And everyone at our table all agreed we will really enjoyed it.
- 27:00Dayna Roselli: There was one dish all of us weren't too sure about just because it was very hot.
- 27:04Dayna Roselli: It used uh these dried chili peppers.
- 27:07Dayna Roselli: So if you're not into really hot dishes, the we would catch a pepper and be like, woo, I need to like not eat for a minute.
- 27:16Sean McAllister: Yeah, that was like five alarm fire kind of hot.
- 27:20Sean McAllister: So you do need to.
- 27:21Sean McAllister: I ended up having a pepper plate that I picked out the peppers and ate everything else from the dish.
- 27:28Sean McAllister: Um, but you're right, Dana, about uh the trend of people going vegetarian or vegan, even if they're not changing up their entire lifestyle, people have been starting to do a vegan or vegetarian thing even for a month or for a few weeks, just to kind of, you know, as a a restart, a refresh for the body.
- 27:51Sean McAllister: So I I think that's something, you know, since it was a culinary trend tour, I think that's something that we'll see continuing into 2022.
- 27:59Dayna Roselli: Exactly.
- 27:59Dayna Roselli: And they also had, by the way, plant-based wines there, and they featured plant-based cocktails.
- 28:04Dayna Roselli: So there's a whole thing.
- 28:06Dayna Roselli: If um and people know that that eat that way, and I know some people are thinking about going that way, so maybe try it out.
- 28:11Dayna Roselli: All right, let's switch from food, restaurants, and atmosphere to money, which is also what Las Vegas is about.
- 28:18Dayna Roselli: People love to get their gambling on.
- 28:20Sean McAllister: Heck yeah.
- 28:20Dayna Roselli: And it's funny because you and I were just chatting about two weeks ago after we went to a local casino.
- 28:26Dayna Roselli: We're like, you know, I don't feel like the slots have been hitting a lot.
- 28:28Dayna Roselli: Now, I don't play tons of slots.
- 28:29Dayna Roselli: I think you play probably more slots than I do.
- 28:32Sean McAllister: I love slots.
- 28:32Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 28:33Dayna Roselli: And um, we're saying they haven't been like really hitting.
- 28:36Dayna Roselli: And then I was reading a little on Twitter from some visitors in Las Vegas, so people that came here and then left, and said, you know, I just don't feel like the slots are as loose as they used to be.
- 28:46Dayna Roselli: It seems a little tight, and they have all these terms, you know, the slot players.
- 28:49Dayna Roselli: So um all of a sudden people keep hitting jackpots, and I feel like the tide has turned.
- 28:56Sean McAllister: I you know what, I think it is turning.
- 28:58Sean McAllister: So before we get into the the string of jackpots that were just hit with within a week of one another, um my husband and I went over to the Silverton, which is you know south on the 15 before you actually get to the heart of the Las Vegas resort corridor.
- 29:16Sean McAllister: We went over there for dinner and played some slots.
- 29:18Sean McAllister: The first four machines that we played, we won almost within the first couple spins on each machine and hit a mini jackpot, which was like a hundred and thirty bucks.
- 29:32Sean McAllister: But still we were like, great.
- 29:33Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 29:38Sean McAllister: Okay, huge amounts.
- 29:39Dayna Roselli: Then did you cash out or did you cashed out of each machine after we won.
- 29:43Dayna Roselli: And then did you leave up?
- 29:45Sean McAllister: Uh we left up, but it was after being down almost to nothing.
- 29:52Sean McAllister: Okay.
- 29:52Sean McAllister: But then we got it back.
- 29:53Sean McAllister: Okay, good, good.
- 29:54Sean McAllister: We got our investment back, which is good.
- 29:56Sean McAllister: That was covered plus a few dollars, and so I yeah, I had had a blast, and I feel like the slots are loosening up.
- 30:04Dayna Roselli: Well, apparently they are in a big way.
- 30:06Dayna Roselli: Here's the rundown of people, well, not people, because some of them are anonymous, but um locations, I should say, and jackpots that have been won over the last like what week?
- 30:16Sean McAllister: Yeah, all within a week of one another.
- 30:19Dayna Roselli: Uh someone won at Hera's on Open Face Pie Gow$1.3 million.
- 30:25Dayna Roselli: This was the night that you and I were at the Whitney Houston show, and we said, man, we were there, but then we thought, well, we wouldn't have played open face piegow.
- 30:32Sean McAllister: So that is true.
- 30:33Sean McAllister: So it's not like a jackpot that we missed out on.
- 30:36Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 30:37Sean McAllister: We missed it, but it's not like we were playing pie gow all night, and then we're like, damn it, we didn't get that jackpot.
- 30:44Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 30:44Dayna Roselli: Well, they won 1.3 million.
- 30:46Dayna Roselli: Incredible jackpot.
- 30:47Dayna Roselli: At circa, Nikki won on a slot machine one million plus.
- 30:54Dayna Roselli: And I saw on Instagram Derek Stevens came over to the slot machine and and greeted her.
- 31:00Dayna Roselli: So that was a big fun occasion.
- 31:02Dayna Roselli: Um, he's, you know, making an appearance for the big winners and celebrating.
- 31:06Dayna Roselli: She looked really happy.
- 31:07Sean McAllister: Yes, she did.
- 31:08Sean McAllister: And then over at Main Street Station, which is also in downtown Las Vegas, we had a visitor from Hawaii who won again over a million dollars on the slot machine over at Main Street Station.
- 31:21unknown: Wow.
- 31:22Dayna Roselli: And then at Treasure Island, someone won a million plus on the Buffalo Gold.
- 31:27Dayna Roselli: Jeez.
- 31:27Dayna Roselli: I know.
- 31:28Dayna Roselli: So the slots are suddenly hitting.
- 31:30Dayna Roselli: I don't know, maybe they heard us talking about it on social media.
- 31:32Dayna Roselli: The slot lords, the slot gods, the slot uh whisperers, I don't know what you'd call them.
- 31:39Dayna Roselli: But listen, we love it, and it's good advertising for Las Vegas because if people see people winning, then it makes them want to come play themselves.
- 31:45Sean McAllister: That is true.
- 31:46Sean McAllister: So if you're out of town and you haven't booked your trip to Vegas for the end of the year, make it a goal in 2022 to get here and play and try and win a jackpot.
- 31:56Sean McAllister: We all appreciate your donations.
- 31:58Dayna Roselli: All right, let's get to some tips.
- 32:01Dayna Roselli: And Sean, I want to start out by saying we haven't mentioned many holiday events because next week um is Thanksgiving here in America.
- 32:08Dayna Roselli: I know we have a lot of listeners outside of the country, but um, we're gonna take uh just a couple days off and we're busy with some other projects.
- 32:15Dayna Roselli: So we are going to record a podcast.
- 32:17Dayna Roselli: So we're not gonna we are going to have a podcast for you, but it's gonna be based around all the big holiday events that are happening here in Las Vegas that kick off either the day before Thanksgiving or the day after and run pretty much through the month.
- 32:30Sean McAllister: That's right.
- 32:31Sean McAllister: So you'll be getting that podcast with all of the holiday happenings on uh November twenty-seventh is when that podcast is going to be live and dropping into your favorite podcasting platform.
- 32:46Sean McAllister: Uh, but getting into our tips.
- 32:48Sean McAllister: I'm kind of excited about this, Dana.
- 32:51Sean McAllister: So remember a few years back there was this whole craze about the cronut, which is a combination of a croissant and a donut.
- 33:01Sean McAllister: It's basically a r a croissant in the shape of a donut, kind of.
- 33:05Dayna Roselli: Okay, yeah.
- 33:06Dayna Roselli: I do remember, I've never been a donut person, so I don't follow it, but I do remember the cronut.
- 33:11Sean McAllister: And it was like in the city, it was this huge sensation.
- 33:15Sean McAllister: There would be lines wrapped around the block of this bakery that invented the Cronut.
- 33:21Dayna Roselli: I do love a good croissant.
- 33:22Sean McAllister: People just waiting to get this newly developed pastry.
- 33:27Sean McAllister: Well, the James Beard award-winning pastry chef, Dominique Ansell, is set to bring the culinary delight that he created to a new bakery, which he is opening inside Caesar's Palace.
- 33:43Sean McAllister: Uh, Dominique Ansell, Las Vegas, is set to open uh in the summer of 2022.
- 33:49Sean McAllister: So Cronuts are going to be a staple on the Las Vegas strip.
- 33:54Dayna Roselli: Have you ever had so what is it like what does it taste like?
- 33:57Dayna Roselli: Have you had one?
- 33:57Sean McAllister: No, I've never had one.
- 33:58Dayna Roselli: Oh, you've never had one either.
- 33:59Dayna Roselli: Okay, because I wonder, like, is it more croissant or more donut?
- 34:02Dayna Roselli: Or is it half and half?
- 34:04Sean McAllister: I think it's kind of half and half.
- 34:06Sean McAllister: So you know how a croissant is a little more airy?
- 34:10Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 34:10Sean McAllister: Inside bready and airy.
- 34:12Sean McAllister: Buttery, buttery too.
- 34:12Sean McAllister: And buttery, yes.
- 34:13Sean McAllister: And a donut is much more like dense and cakey.
- 34:17Sean McAllister: I think it's in the shape of a donut, but the consistency of a croissant.
- 34:23Sean McAllister: And then of course there's different toppings and all that kind of stuff too.
- 34:27Sean McAllister: So that makes it more of a donut.
- 34:29Sean McAllister: So you don't usually have toppings on your croissant.
- 34:31Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 34:32Dayna Roselli: So it's a cronut.
- 34:33Sean McAllister: So it's a cronut.
- 34:34Sean McAllister: By definition, it is a cronut.
- 34:36Dayna Roselli: Got it.
- 34:38Dayna Roselli: No wonder that's how they came up with the name.
- 34:40Sean McAllister: You'll it'll all be understood, Dana, in the summer of 2022.
- 34:45Sean McAllister: You and I will go and pay Dominique Ansel a visit over at Caesars.
- 34:49Dayna Roselli: And when we say 2022, I mean it's really around the corner.
- 34:52Dayna Roselli: It's already here.
- 34:52Dayna Roselli: So summer will be here uh before we know it.
- 34:55Dayna Roselli: It hasn't even been cold here yet, so I can't even I don't know.
- 34:58Dayna Roselli: It's so funny.
- 34:59Dayna Roselli: I feel like this has been the longest summer ever.
- 35:01Sean McAllister: Well, next thing we know, there's gonna be casting calls for all the staff at the the pools.
- 35:05Sean McAllister: There already is one.
- 35:07Dayna Roselli: The wind put one out.
- 35:08Dayna Roselli: Yes, we got the press release, and it said they're starting.
- 35:10Dayna Roselli: Well, I mean, they put out the date that they're gonna do it.
- 35:12Dayna Roselli: Holy crazy and I think it's like they just want to start, you know, getting you prepared.
- 35:15Dayna Roselli: I think it's like early January.
- 35:16Dayna Roselli: They're gonna already start.
- 35:17Sean McAllister: So basically that's a subliminal message to say don't overdo it at Thanksgiving and Christmas.
- 35:22Dayna Roselli: Put the Cronuts aside.
- 35:25Dayna Roselli: Well, then they might want to well, they might want to do this as their last hurrah.
- 35:29Dayna Roselli: This is our next tip.
- 35:30Dayna Roselli: And we're talking about the popular day of drinking.
- 35:34Dayna Roselli: Now, usually the Wednesday before Thanksgiving is known as Blackout Wednesday, believe it or not.
- 35:41Sean McAllister: Is it?
- 35:42Dayna Roselli: Yes.
- 35:43Dayna Roselli: And it's like a drinksgiving.
- 35:45Dayna Roselli: So how it all came about is that a lot of times when people go home for Thanksgiving, or it's just, you know, maybe maybe they live somewhere and family's in town and friends are coming to them.
- 35:57Dayna Roselli: You go out that Wednesday night before Thanksgiving because you know you're gonna be home all day on Thanksgiving, watching football and eating and sitting around the house.
- 36:04Sean McAllister: And a lot of times you're together with people that night before who you haven't seen in years.
- 36:08Dayna Roselli: Exactly.
- 36:09Dayna Roselli: You know, you go home, everyone, or like say everyone's home from college.
- 36:12Sean McAllister: Yep.
- 36:12Dayna Roselli: You know, or or whatever, or you know, everyone's you know in town.
- 36:15Dayna Roselli: So it's a very popular, I think the most popular drinking night of the whole year.
- 36:21Sean McAllister: I will say it's just it's all coming back to me as you're talking about.
- 36:25Sean McAllister: It's all coming back to me now.
- 36:26Sean McAllister: It's all coming back to me.
- 36:28Sean McAllister: Uh in college, there were those nights when uh I would go out the night before Thanksgiving, and the next morning on Thanksgiving, I would wake up just like super hungover, and the last thing I wanted to do was sit down and have a Thanksgiving meal.
- 36:45Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 36:45Dayna Roselli: Well, yeah.
- 36:47Dayna Roselli: Usually a lot of people like to put you well, I guess when because Thanksgiving meal I feel like isn't like terrible food for you, you know.
- 36:53Dayna Roselli: But sometimes when you're hung up, there's a lot of calories.
- 36:55Dayna Roselli: You want the greasy kind of burger or something that's garbage plate.
- 36:59Dayna Roselli: But anyway, Blackout Wednesday is a popular, you know, a popular thing.
- 37:04Dayna Roselli: And this year, Fremont Street wants you to do it Vegas style.
- 37:08Dayna Roselli: So we were reading about this and I thought this kind of sounds fun.
- 37:10Dayna Roselli: So what is it?
- 37:11Dayna Roselli: Well, they're calling it Drinksgiving.
- 37:13Dayna Roselli: They'll have drinking games and drink specials.
- 37:15Dayna Roselli: They're calling it like an alcohol-filled block party.
- 37:18Sean McAllister: Isn't that what Fremont Street usually is?
- 37:19Sean McAllister: I mean, that's what I think, but I think they're asking like maybe like it'll be an officially extra people to branded block party to see.
- 37:26Dayna Roselli: It's like all the people that were there normally now bring your family and friends.
- 37:28Sean McAllister: Right, right.
- 37:29Dayna Roselli: But at 9 p.m., you people can go over to the the third street stage for a free concert from Vince Neal.
- 37:35Dayna Roselli: Nice.
- 37:36Dayna Roselli: The front man of Motley Crue.
- 37:38Dayna Roselli: That sounds wild.
- 37:39Sean McAllister: I haven't seen Vince in a while.
- 37:40Dayna Roselli: I know, I haven't either.
- 37:42Dayna Roselli: He's gonna perform hits such as The Wild Side, Home Sweet Home, Girls, Girls, Girls, all that.
- 37:48Dayna Roselli: But okay.
- 37:49Dayna Roselli: I don't know.
- 37:49Dayna Roselli: For me, I'm looking at this going drinking games, barber crawl, family, friends, blackout Wednesday, and then Vince Neal at nine o'clock.
- 38:01Sean McAllister: I don't know if I would make it to nine o'clock.
- 38:02Dayna Roselli: I don't know.
- 38:04Dayna Roselli: Oh, I don't even know if I'd wake up the next day.
- 38:06Dayna Roselli: That sounds like a night.
- 38:08Dayna Roselli: Holy cow.
- 38:09Dayna Roselli: But listen, do it at your own pace.
- 38:11Dayna Roselli: It does sound like a fun time, and we wanted to pass that on.
- 38:14Dayna Roselli: And the best part is, you know, the concert's free.
- 38:17Dayna Roselli: Go enjoy.
- 38:18Sean McAllister: So the Cronut and Drinksgiving.
- 38:20Sean McAllister: Those are our tips for the week.
- 38:22Sean McAllister: And as Dana mentioned, uh next week we will be back with an all-new episode uh uh focused just on all of the holiday happenings all around Las Vegas.

- 38:48Dayna Roselli: People really enjoyed hearing about, you know, what it's like over there, you know, now that travel has opened up here, what people are looking forward to.
- 38:57Dayna Roselli: Um we also had the first virgin Atlantic flight land here at McCarran.

- 39:08Dayna Roselli: So welcome everyone back to Las Vegas from overseas.
- 39:11Sean McAllister: And if you're lucky when you come in, you'll have the showgirls greeting you, just like those planes.
- 39:16Dayna Roselli: There's definitely slot machines, so maybe you'll hit a million at the airport.
