- 1:05Speaker 2: But good moy to good one and good boy to
- 1:07Speaker 2: give boy the good morning. Welcome to Monday Morning Motivation,
- 1:13Speaker 2: our Power with the Queen. Getting ready to go live,
- 1:17Speaker 2: Getting ready to go live on Substack, y'all. New platform
- 1:21Speaker 2: that we're utilizing. Great out the platform, A great platform
- 1:28Speaker 2: that you can go over if you like to write,
- 1:30Speaker 2: you like to just share, if you like to just
- 1:35Speaker 2: just pour out. It's a great platform for that. And
- 1:39Speaker 2: there's no I mean there's no like you have limitations
- 1:46Speaker 2: over here on Facebook, where they always want to flag something,
- 1:51Speaker 2: they always want to say something. You don't have that Substack.
- 1:56Speaker 2: So if you guys are not over there, I hate
- 1:59Speaker 2: that I did not get involved in it like I
- 2:02Speaker 2: wanted to back when I first found out about it.
- 2:05Speaker 2: But now that I know about it, y'all, now that
- 2:07Speaker 2: I know about it, I'm going to utilize it. And
- 2:10Speaker 2: I'm telling everybody that I can. I'm telling them about it.
- 2:14Speaker 2: So if you're not over there utilizing it, I want
- 2:19Speaker 2: you to go on over there and utilize it. So
- 2:23Speaker 2: good morning, good morning, good afternoon to some, good early
- 2:27Speaker 2: morning to some. And here nine am. I tell you, y'all,
- 2:34Speaker 2: I have yet to go to sleep. I just turned
- 2:38Speaker 2: in a forty page paper for my last class of
- 2:44Speaker 2: the quarter, my last class of this journey, y'all. This
- 2:50Speaker 2: was the last class for the journey. The journey is
- 2:53Speaker 2: not over. So this class, this last paper that I
- 2:57Speaker 2: just turned in, it's gonna whether I keep my A
- 3:03Speaker 2: if I slipped to a B, or if I slip
- 3:05Speaker 2: to a C. So this is this is the final destination.
- 3:09Speaker 2: So we're gonna see what it's gonna be. I I
- 3:13Speaker 2: was up all night, but I got it done. It
- 3:16Speaker 2: was turned in actually before prayer this morning, got it
- 3:20Speaker 2: in before Prayer was able to do my recording. Yet
- 3:24Speaker 2: we actually had to do a like a sharp tank
- 3:28Speaker 2: type video where we had to do like a presentation.
- 3:33Speaker 2: So I did that and I got it in. So
- 3:40Speaker 2: just waiting for my grade now, y'all. I have one
- 3:43Speaker 2: more thing that I have to do for my class,
- 3:45Speaker 2: and that is to fill out a evaluation. They always
- 3:50Speaker 2: want you to fill out evaluation at the end to
- 3:52Speaker 2: see how the professor done and what you got out
- 3:58Speaker 2: of the class and if there's anything that you would
- 4:02Speaker 2: like to share about the class and what would you
- 4:07Speaker 2: say to someone about the class. So you get to
- 4:10Speaker 2: share if you want to. If you don't want to,
- 4:12Speaker 2: you don't have to. But yeah, I think I'm gonna
- 4:16Speaker 2: go and share. So yeah, I am getting ready to
- 4:23Speaker 2: go live on substack to y'all. So I am not
- 4:26Speaker 2: live on substack again. I really I wanted to come
- 4:32Speaker 2: on this morning. I want to show y'all the books.
- 4:36Speaker 2: I am so so excited about the poetry book for
- 4:42Speaker 2: my birthday, y'all. Thank you to the twenty poets that
- 4:49Speaker 2: decided to share inside of this book. I am grateful
- 4:54Speaker 2: for you. And this is the book. Substat can see
- 5:01Speaker 2: it real good. But this is the book. And they say,
- 5:05Speaker 2: if I hold it up like this, if y'all can
- 5:08Speaker 2: see it. If I hold it up like that, can
- 5:10Speaker 2: y'all see it? So we're gonna hold it over here
- 5:14Speaker 2: a little bit so those that are tuned in on Facebook,
- 5:21Speaker 2: Twitch YouTube can see the front cover of their new book.
- 5:30Speaker 2: Front cover of their new book, and of course I
- 5:35Speaker 2: decided to put Apostle on the back because she did
- 5:38Speaker 2: the forward inside of this book. And if you have
- 5:46Speaker 2: not grabbed you a copy of the one hundred and
- 5:49Speaker 2: twenty one days of prayer. That's what this is right here, y'all.
- 5:54Speaker 2: That's what this is. This is the one hundred and
- 5:56Speaker 2: twenty one days of prayer. And I wanted to share.
- 5:59Speaker 2: I just want to share something out of the one
- 6:02Speaker 2: hundred and twenty one days of prayer today for my devotion.
- 6:12Speaker 2: That's what I want. I just want to share something. Yeah,
- 6:14Speaker 2: I'm just gonna randomly just flip through here because I
- 6:18Speaker 2: don't just pick something, So I'm just gonna randomly flip
- 6:22Speaker 2: through here and just grab something. So and this one
- 6:27Speaker 2: is it happens to be day sixty three, and it
- 6:34Speaker 2: is passion for purpose. And the scripture is Jeremiah twenty
- 6:39Speaker 2: and nine. It says, look, I don't even have my
- 6:47Speaker 2: I don't have my Bible to read the scripture because
- 6:49Speaker 2: it just gives you the actual scripture. And then you
- 6:52Speaker 2: have to look the scripture up because it's an interactive
- 6:55Speaker 2: devotion because they want you to go in, so you
- 6:57Speaker 2: have to look the scripture up and then you have
- 6:59Speaker 2: to write it on your page. So the lesson for
- 7:02Speaker 2: today is Jeremiah felt God's word in his heart like
- 7:08Speaker 2: a fire, unstoppable and passionate reflection is what passion has
- 7:17Speaker 2: got united in yard. I could say one of my
- 7:21Speaker 2: passions is the passion for social injustice and helping those
- 7:26Speaker 2: for social injustice. Also, I have a passion for helping
- 7:31Speaker 2: those that want to share their voice, whether it's through podcasting,
- 7:36Speaker 2: whether it's through publishing, whether it's through life coaching, helping
- 7:43Speaker 2: individuals discover their voice, activating that voice that's in them.
- 7:50Speaker 2: So that's what I feel like my thing is. So
- 7:55Speaker 2: if I was to reflect on something, I would probably
- 8:00Speaker 2: reflect on the passion that I have for writing and
- 8:06Speaker 2: helping individuals get their story out because I have I
- 8:11Speaker 2: think now that thing, say one hundred and thirty one
- 8:15Speaker 2: published pieces over on Amazon. So the affirmation that goes
- 8:22Speaker 2: along with that that lesson would be God's fire within
- 8:28Speaker 2: drives me passionately towards my purpose. And then you would
- 8:32Speaker 2: just keep saying that, Oh, just keep speaking it over
- 8:35Speaker 2: your life all day. Just God's fire within drives me
- 8:39Speaker 2: passionately towards my purpose. You just keep saying it, it's
- 8:42Speaker 2: that fire within, It's that that's within you. If you
- 8:45Speaker 2: keep saying it, you keep saying it to yourself, then y'all,
- 8:48Speaker 2: I'm telling you gonna unite. You're gonna ignite something within
- 8:51Speaker 2: you that's gonna want that just gonna make you get
- 8:54Speaker 2: up and go. I'm telling you ain't nothing. Nobody told
- 8:56Speaker 2: me something that I experienced. I remember laying on my
- 8:59Speaker 2: bed of affliction and saying to myself day after day
- 9:03Speaker 2: after day, and then one day I just say, you
- 9:05Speaker 2: know what, I'm tired of this. I just got to
- 9:07Speaker 2: get up and I got to do something. And that's
- 9:10Speaker 2: what I did. So we do a press starter with this,
- 9:15Speaker 2: and it comes a press starter. So this press starter says, Father,
- 9:20Speaker 2: ignite my heart with passion for the work that you
- 9:25Speaker 2: have set before me that I may pursue it, farently,
- 9:32Speaker 2: and that's the start. And then you just continue, You
- 9:35Speaker 2: just continue. You just whatever God lay on your heart.
- 9:39Speaker 2: You know, I tell people all the time. People think
- 9:42Speaker 2: that there's a certain way. Yeah, people that have studied
- 9:47Speaker 2: prayer and all those things. Okay, you can study prayer,
- 9:50Speaker 2: you can learn the difference, but there's no way, like,
- 9:53Speaker 2: there's really no technical way to pray. He's given you
- 9:57Speaker 2: the Lord's prayer and different prayers, and if you read
- 10:02Speaker 2: the Bible, there's different prayers in the Bible. You have
- 10:05Speaker 2: all these different prayers, but there's no set thing that
- 10:10Speaker 2: says this is how you're supposed to pray, this is
- 10:12Speaker 2: how you pray. You pray whatever's laid on your heart.
- 10:16Speaker 2: And if you just begin, if you just open up
- 10:19Speaker 2: your mouth and just begin to pray, and you begin
- 10:22Speaker 2: to allow him, the Holy Spirit to lead God and
- 10:25Speaker 2: direct you, he would give you. He would lay on
- 10:27Speaker 2: your heart the things to pray about. He will lay
- 10:30Speaker 2: on your heart, the people to pray about, and just
- 10:33Speaker 2: different things. Nothing that nobody's told me, something that I
- 10:37Speaker 2: have experienced over the last five years, y'all. Five am prayer.
- 10:43Speaker 2: We're in five am prayer every morning. Now. We started
- 10:47Speaker 2: out doing one hundred and twenty one days a prayer,
- 10:51Speaker 2: one hundred and twenty one days a prayer to for
- 10:54Speaker 2: the first three years, and I think last year we
- 10:57Speaker 2: went back into prayer, back into prayer, and then I
- 11:02Speaker 2: was like, I don't know when we're coming out, and
- 11:08Speaker 2: we've just been in since we went back in August.
- 11:12Speaker 2: We came out June first, and we went back in
- 11:17Speaker 2: on August the first, and we've been in prayer every
- 11:21Speaker 2: day since then, and we've definitely truly seen God move
- 11:25Speaker 2: we've seen miracle signs and wonder like, it's nothing that
- 11:30Speaker 2: you know, nobody told us. It's something that we have experienced,
- 11:34Speaker 2: something that we have witnessed. We have watched God move,
- 11:37Speaker 2: we have watched people get hereed, We've watched people get
- 11:40Speaker 2: delivered and set free. You know, I, with everything that's
- 11:46Speaker 2: going on in this world, I will not turn back.
- 11:52Speaker 2: You know, a lot of us we're so focused on
- 11:56Speaker 2: other stuff. Like I was taught to someone we were
- 12:01Speaker 2: talking about hurt people and how hurt people become heal people,
- 12:09Speaker 2: and then those heal people will nourish and help heal
- 12:16Speaker 2: other people. So we're getting ready to drop this grief podcast,
- 12:23Speaker 2: and no, we are not. We are not healed. We
- 12:29Speaker 2: are still like grief is something that you'll never get over.
- 12:35Speaker 2: You know, I still feel some things from when I
- 12:41Speaker 2: lost my mom. You know, sometimes I get angry because
- 12:47Speaker 2: I'm like, how could you leave me? You know, And
- 12:50Speaker 2: then I realized that it wasn't that she left me.
- 12:57Speaker 2: You know, her task here was done. She had done
- 13:01Speaker 2: what God had purposed her to do. Her assignment was done.
- 13:05Speaker 2: You know, we don't understand when people leave, but we
- 13:16Speaker 2: read the word and we know, like we know that
- 13:19Speaker 2: this is going to happen, but we can never prepare
- 13:23Speaker 2: because you you just you can never prepare for not
- 13:29Speaker 2: having that person that you gave birth to, that person
- 13:32Speaker 2: that you've had in your life all of your life.
- 13:36Speaker 2: Like I never imagine, like I never imagine life without
- 13:43Speaker 2: my brother. I never imagine life without Big Sugar. And
- 13:51Speaker 2: that won't hurt, y'all. This will really hurt. I try
- 14:01Speaker 2: so hard to be so strong, but sometimes it just hurt.
- 14:04Speaker 2: Like Todays just one of those days. March in April
- 14:09Speaker 2: is really really hard. It's really hard for me. But
- 14:17Speaker 2: I'm grateful that I have these platforms, and I have
- 14:23Speaker 2: some amazing people that pour into me and allow me
- 14:30Speaker 2: to pour into them, and we lift each other up,
- 14:33Speaker 2: we encourage each other. You know, I'm grateful for really Gross,
- 14:41Speaker 2: I'm so grateful for her because even in the midst
- 14:44Speaker 2: of all that she's going through, that lady think about
- 14:46Speaker 2: me often and she'll inbox me with a prayer and
- 14:53Speaker 2: she just she's just so grateful and she's just so thankful.
- 15:00Speaker 2: You wonder, do people really appreciate the things that you do,
- 15:07Speaker 2: not that you want the acculades or you want even
- 15:14Speaker 2: their validation or their approval, but just the fact that
- 15:21Speaker 2: you pour into people and that you're willing to give
- 15:24Speaker 2: of yourself. And sometimes you just wonder are people really
- 15:31Speaker 2: appreciative or do just people just they cling to you
- 15:36Speaker 2: just because they want to see what all they can
- 15:38Speaker 2: get out of you. But when you work unto God,
- 15:43Speaker 2: and you work unto the Lord and you just want
- 15:46Speaker 2: to please God, it's like it looks like people are
- 15:52Speaker 2: taking advantage of you. But when you are doing what's
- 15:57Speaker 2: in your heart and what God placed in your spirit,
- 16:00Speaker 2: then people can't take advantage of you. And that's what
- 16:02Speaker 2: I want people to understand. No, they can never take
- 16:07Speaker 2: advantage of you because you're working unto the Lord. And
- 16:11Speaker 2: if you're working unto God, I'm reminded of what a
- 16:18Speaker 2: possible always says. She says, the things that you do
- 16:21Speaker 2: for us, she said, God'll make happen for you. So
- 16:27Speaker 2: I don't worry about I don't worry about people that
- 16:32Speaker 2: you know, they come to my platform and all they
- 16:36Speaker 2: want to do is to see how many people they
- 16:39Speaker 2: can snatch, how many people they can you know, secure
- 16:43Speaker 2: to be a part of the things that they're doing.
- 16:46Speaker 2: When if they just have a conversation with me. I
- 16:48Speaker 2: don't mind, you know, collaborating, I don't mind partner, I
- 16:51Speaker 2: don't mind you know, connecting you with people. I mean,
- 16:55Speaker 2: that's what I do. I mean, I didn't garner Queen
- 16:59Speaker 2: a collaborate just because I was someone that just thought
- 17:06Speaker 2: about myself, because that's just not me. Most of the time.
- 17:11Speaker 2: I'm always looking out for other people. You know, every
- 17:15Speaker 2: time I go to a platform, if they don't have
- 17:20Speaker 2: space for other people to come normally, I'm not going,
- 17:27Speaker 2: like I want to know if there's gonna be space
- 17:29Speaker 2: for other people, Like can I invite some people on
- 17:33Speaker 2: the platform by Right now, I'm talking to this lady
- 17:36Speaker 2: and she keeps trying to get me to be a
- 17:38Speaker 2: part of some kind of book award show. So I'm
- 17:42Speaker 2: asking her, I'm like, can can we do this for
- 17:48Speaker 2: the forty three authors that's a part of one hundred
- 17:53Speaker 2: authors to watch? And she ain't email me back yet.
- 17:59Speaker 2: So if you can accommodate these forty three authors or
- 18:04Speaker 2: how many of a wish to participate, then you can
- 18:07Speaker 2: accommodate me. That's what season I'm in because it's not
- 18:12Speaker 2: about me. It's about the one hundred author movement right
- 18:14Speaker 2: now and that's what I'm that's what I'm working on.
- 18:18Speaker 2: I'm so glad that I'm out of class now I
- 18:23Speaker 2: can really focus on trying to, you know, really get
- 18:26Speaker 2: some things going and getting these authors seen and heard
- 18:31Speaker 2: and getting their things out there. We're definitely going to California. Hey,
- 18:37Speaker 2: shadn't definitely going to California. We're gonna be right here
- 18:44Speaker 2: in the East Point on April the fifth, y'all. It's
- 18:48Speaker 2: winding down. If you have not grabbed you a spot, y'all.
- 18:53Speaker 2: We're starting the morning off with at prayer breakfast from
- 18:57Speaker 2: eight to ten, so that means you can come in,
- 19:00Speaker 2: you can sit down and eat breakfast, feed your spirit
- 19:06Speaker 2: in your physical body with us. We're gonna have a
- 19:12Speaker 2: testimony service and then our apostle is gonna bring the word,
- 19:19Speaker 2: and then we're gonna transition into the book tour, where
- 19:25Speaker 2: we're gonna have some authors and business owners set up
- 19:28Speaker 2: their tables. They're gonna have their product, their merchandise on display,
- 19:34Speaker 2: and we're gonna have some speakers to come out. They're
- 19:36Speaker 2: gonna be sharing about branding, marketing, visibility, power, your voice,
- 19:42Speaker 2: things of that nature. Things of that nature. Anything that's
- 19:45Speaker 2: gonna help you go to the next level, anything that's
- 19:49Speaker 2: gonna help you take your brand to the next level,
- 19:52Speaker 2: anything that's gonna help you get gunner exposure. It's all
- 19:59Speaker 2: about visibilit it's all about being relatable, being able to connect.
- 20:06Speaker 2: So I want everybody to really really focus on these
- 20:10Speaker 2: fources understand that that's that's what this movement is all about,
- 20:14Speaker 2: the four sees, connection, collaboration, creativity, and community. So I'm excited.
- 20:23Speaker 2: I'm excited. I am going to be today. I'm going
- 20:28Speaker 2: to be reaching out to some of the author's part
- 20:32Speaker 2: of the one hundred Author Movement, Gonna be setting up
- 20:35Speaker 2: some stuff. I am working on some stuff for the
- 20:37Speaker 2: men for June, because y'all know me, and History Month
- 20:42Speaker 2: for us, by our Author's magazine, is in June. We
- 20:45Speaker 2: always celebrate our men because not all of them are fathers.
- 20:50Speaker 2: And they want to throw Father's Day in June and
- 20:53Speaker 2: say give everybody that day and celebrate them. But everybody's
- 20:56Speaker 2: not a father, even though they may be a dad
- 21:01Speaker 2: or whatever to somebody else, but they're not naturally a father.
- 21:06Speaker 2: But we want to recognize all our kings that are
- 21:10Speaker 2: doing great things that are impacting, they're educating empowered and
- 21:13Speaker 2: encouraging the community. We definitely want to recognize them. We
- 21:17Speaker 2: have I think eleven authors a part of the one
- 21:21Speaker 2: hundred author movement. There are kings, and we definitely want
- 21:25Speaker 2: to showcase them. We want to highlight them. I am
- 21:28Speaker 2: going to personally be setting up some things to highlight
- 21:32Speaker 2: them for the month of June. I've been getting their visibility,
- 21:36Speaker 2: getting their availability, and seeing how I can work with
- 21:41Speaker 2: them to really give them an opportunity to showcase their
- 21:44Speaker 2: brands and give them an opportunity to really, you know,
- 21:47Speaker 2: get out there like these women. Because these women been
- 21:49Speaker 2: taking advantage of these opportunities, and I want to give
- 21:52Speaker 2: these men the same opportunity. So I'm want to be
- 21:55Speaker 2: working with them. Also, I just want you to encourage you.
- 22:00Speaker 2: If you are an author and you're hearing this, or
- 22:02Speaker 2: if you have a friend that's an author, you know
- 22:05Speaker 2: someone that's an author, inspiring author, you got a book
- 22:08Speaker 2: that's coming out, this is a great opportunity, y'all. Look,
- 22:13Speaker 2: do you see my sign back here? Well, for those
- 22:16Speaker 2: that are on subs that they can see my sign
- 22:21Speaker 2: in the background, you guys can't see it because it
- 22:25Speaker 2: is apparently being used as the green screen because I
- 22:31Speaker 2: see that my backdrop is actually showing really nice. It
- 22:35Speaker 2: is not glitching today, so it's being utilized as my
- 22:39Speaker 2: back drop. But y'all, it is a bannerstand that I
- 22:42Speaker 2: have for my upcoming event, and it simply says, unleashing
- 22:50Speaker 2: your potential with Queen Angela. Ready to walk in your purpose.

- 23:27Speaker 2: my email because I want y'all to be able to
- 23:30Speaker 2: reach out to me. I want y'all to be able
- 23:32Speaker 2: to connect with me. Link Tree has all of my
- 23:37Speaker 2: different sites, different things that I'm on. You can go

- 23:54Speaker 2: the magazine's platforms. Because we're on mad Cloud, we're on Amazon,
- 24:00Speaker 2: we're on blur. If y'all not been checking the magazine out.
- 24:03Speaker 2: I want to encourage you guys to check the magazine out.
- 24:06Speaker 2: It is a very nice magazine. We have been getting
- 24:09Speaker 2: rave reviews from the guys in prison. Magazine has been
- 24:15Speaker 2: going to the Texas prison system now for a little
- 24:19Speaker 2: over three years. Currently they're upset with me, so I
- 24:23Speaker 2: had to go through another review, have had to send
- 24:26Speaker 2: it off to Huntsville to get reviewed again. So we're
- 24:30Speaker 2: currently under review. So we're gonna see if they're gonna
- 24:32Speaker 2: allow us to stay in the prison system. But y'all,
- 24:36Speaker 2: if you've not checked out the magazine, it is a
- 24:39Speaker 2: magazine by us for us. We talk about things that
- 24:42Speaker 2: effect our black and brown community. It is to educate, empower,
- 24:46Speaker 2: and encourage. I truly want you when you flipping through
- 24:50Speaker 2: those pages, I want you to walk away feeling like
- 24:53Speaker 2: you got something, something that will empower you, something that
- 24:57Speaker 2: will encourage you to stay on the journey, and something
- 24:59Speaker 2: that you not know before you picked up that magazine.
- 25:02Speaker 2: So we have some amazing writers. If you're interested in
- 25:07Speaker 2: sharing your perspectives, sharing your thoughts inside of the magazine,
- 25:11Speaker 2: please reach out to me. And we're always looking for writers.
- 25:14Speaker 2: We're always looking for various different perspectives. I am personally
- 25:20Speaker 2: looking for someone that would like to work write for
- 25:23Speaker 2: the business section. It is a four page business section. Simply,
- 25:28Speaker 2: we just want to keep it around the business of
- 25:32Speaker 2: authorship and small business, black and Brown small business and authorship.
- 25:39Speaker 2: So if you're someone that would like to share about
- 25:44Speaker 2: business tips, branding, marketing, accounting, book keeping, anything for small
- 25:51Speaker 2: businesses and entrepreneurs that will help them with their brands,
- 25:57Speaker 2: that will help them with what they're doing, I would
- 26:00Speaker 2: love for you to come and be a part of
- 26:03Speaker 2: the magazine. We're also looking for individuals that would like
- 26:07Speaker 2: to write and share about entertainment, music, fashion, because we
- 26:15Speaker 2: want to stay up to beat to about what's going
- 26:17Speaker 2: on in our black and Brown community as far as
- 26:21Speaker 2: fashion and music, and we don't want to always give
- 26:24Speaker 2: the narrative that that that they're giving us. We want
- 26:27Speaker 2: our own narrative. So we want to get out here.
- 26:29Speaker 2: What we're doing over on the Crew podcast this year,
- 26:32Speaker 2: since we don't have Saturday shows, we're actually getting out
- 26:37Speaker 2: in the community. If we're not hosting shows, we're trying
- 26:40Speaker 2: to get out in the community. So if you're doing
- 26:42Speaker 2: events and you want somebody to come and host your
- 26:47Speaker 2: red carpet, or you want someone to come and do interviews,
- 26:49Speaker 2: if you were having an author event, or if you
- 26:52Speaker 2: were having an event that you would like for individuals
- 26:54Speaker 2: to come and do interviews or host your red carpet
- 26:58Speaker 2: or set up a a media area. Definitely, we would
- 27:02Speaker 2: love to come out and help you get some exposure
- 27:08Speaker 2: for your event, and you know, share your event on
- 27:14Speaker 2: our platform and allow you know, individuals to cross promote
- 27:18Speaker 2: and and and people to see what's going on. So
- 27:21Speaker 2: that's what we're doing, y'all. I said I wasn't gonna
- 27:26Speaker 2: stay on loan because y'all, I have not been asleep.
- 27:29Speaker 2: I just turned in that forty page paper and it
- 27:34Speaker 2: was it was only it only had to be twenty
- 27:38Speaker 2: at least twenty three. Was supposed to be at least
- 27:40Speaker 2: twenty three, y'all. Twenty three I did seventeen. I did
- 27:45Speaker 2: seventeen extra pages. But it is what we have been
- 27:50Speaker 2: working on all this quarter. We actually had to put
- 27:56Speaker 2: together a business plan. We had to do an executive summary,
- 28:01Speaker 2: we had to do the finances, the financials forward. I
- 28:05Speaker 2: had to do an excel. I mean we had to
- 28:08Speaker 2: cross every t and dot every eye and I tell you.
- 28:14Speaker 2: I'm glad it's over. I'm glad this quarter is over.
- 28:19Speaker 2: I'm glad this this part of the journey is over.
- 28:23Speaker 2: I think I'm gonna take a break. I think I
- 28:25Speaker 2: will take my sister up on that cruise in August, y'all.
- 28:30Speaker 2: I think I could go to to to what is
- 28:33Speaker 2: it Turcos and tank whatever it is, tank Os and
- 28:38Speaker 2: that right now, the Bermuda Barbados or whatever it is.
- 28:43Speaker 2: It's all in that area, that area over there. I'm
- 28:47Speaker 2: definitely trying to be on that. It's an eight day cruise.
- 28:50Speaker 2: I think I deserve it, I think, and that'll be
- 28:53Speaker 2: uh a late birthday present for me and I get
- 28:58Speaker 2: to celebrate my sister's birthday. My sister's turning sixty, I'm
- 29:02Speaker 2: turning fifty. We're ten years apart, so that that that's
- 29:07Speaker 2: gonna be great. I think I'm gonna take her up
- 29:10Speaker 2: on that. I think I'm gonna call her today and
- 29:12Speaker 2: tell her if she not, if she's not watching this,
- 29:15Speaker 2: if she don't see this, then I wanna call her
- 29:18Speaker 2: and tell her when I get off this live y'all,
- 29:20Speaker 2: that I'm gonna take her up on that off And
- 29:22Speaker 2: I think I want to go. So if anybody want
- 29:24Speaker 2: to be my roommate, y'all come be my roommate, schnett,
- 29:28Speaker 2: I'm gonna need a roommate. Somebody, come be my roommate.
- 29:31Speaker 2: It's an eight day cruise, and I think it's Turks
- 29:35Speaker 2: and Tencos or something like that, y'all in Bermuda or Barbados,
- 29:42Speaker 2: something like that. But I know it's an eight day
- 29:45Speaker 2: cruise and it's for my sister's sixtieth birthday. So I'm
- 29:51Speaker 2: definitely thinking. I'm thinking about going. I think I deserve it.
- 29:57Speaker 2: I can take a little hiatus, put Patrese in charge
- 30:01Speaker 2: of the podcast, let her, let her do some production
- 30:06Speaker 2: behind the scenes production and and and let her get
- 30:09Speaker 2: a hang of things. But who knows, I may just
- 30:13Speaker 2: take my laptops and and and just work from I
- 30:18Speaker 2: don't mind working from the beach. I don't mind working
- 30:21Speaker 2: with were with me a little mixed drink. Yeah, I'm
- 30:25Speaker 2: gonna have me a little mixed drink a couple of
- 30:27Speaker 2: little I might have me a simple wine, and nothing
- 30:31Speaker 2: wrong with having a mixed drink or two. Just as
- 30:34Speaker 2: long as I don't get drunk, I'm good. But I
- 30:37Speaker 2: might have me a mixed drink or at least a
- 30:40Speaker 2: glass of wine or something. Just just let me enjoy
- 30:43Speaker 2: my vacation out Look, I'm not going over there to
- 30:47Speaker 2: get drunk. I'm going to enjoy myself. And nothing wrong
- 30:51Speaker 2: with having a little drink. He drank every now and then,
- 30:55Speaker 2: and I'm gonna enjoy it. Okay. So I just wanted
- 31:05Speaker 2: to jump on to day, y'all. I really didn't have
- 31:07Speaker 2: nothing for y'all today. I say, my mind is slowing
- 31:13Speaker 2: down now because it was in race mode from trying
- 31:16Speaker 2: to get this paper done, and then once I got going,
- 31:20Speaker 2: and y'all, why do we do that to ourselves? I'm
- 31:25Speaker 2: gonna have to We're gonna have to have a show
- 31:27Speaker 2: about procrastination and wait until the last minute. Because I've
- 31:33Speaker 2: been knowing for a whole quarter that I had this
- 31:38Speaker 2: paper dow and then I've been knowing since last week,
- 31:43Speaker 2: the beginning of the week that this paper was due
- 31:46Speaker 2: on Monday morning or before Monday morning. Why I wait
- 31:52Speaker 2: all the way to Sunday every time, y'all before I
- 31:58Speaker 2: saw it on my But ask me why I always
- 32:03Speaker 2: do my best work when I think it's not gonna
- 32:06Speaker 2: be good. I get my grade back and I'll be
- 32:09Speaker 2: only got all the points. I mean all of the points,
- 32:14Speaker 2: Like I do my best work under pressure. Don't know why,
- 32:17Speaker 2: don't know why I put myself under that pressure, but y'all,
- 32:21Speaker 2: that's what that's what worked this quarter. I ain't I
- 32:24Speaker 2: don't think I'm gonna I don't think I'm gonna do
- 32:26Speaker 2: that this coming up quarter, because this what I am
- 32:31Speaker 2: working towards next well not next quarter, but my next
- 32:35Speaker 2: degree is something that I'm very, very passionate about. Those
- 32:40Speaker 2: that know me know that when I first started school,
- 32:44Speaker 2: I wanted to work with individuals with disabilities. I wanted
- 32:50Speaker 2: to actually I wanted to be a special education teacher.
- 32:58Speaker 2: That that's what I wanted to do when I first
- 32:59Speaker 2: come out to high school. But when I went to
- 33:05Speaker 2: junior college my freshman year, y'all, they had us to
- 33:12Speaker 2: do a we had to do a intern. We had
- 33:17Speaker 2: the student teach. I say that was good because that
- 33:23Speaker 2: made me decide that I didn't want to be a teacher.
- 33:27Speaker 2: That that first semester made me decide that I didn't
- 33:30Speaker 2: want to be a teacher. I actually got to do
- 33:32Speaker 2: the lesson plan, like we actually got to do an
- 33:36Speaker 2: assistant teaching stuff and teaching the class and all of that,
- 33:42Speaker 2: so I was able to use that on my resume.
- 33:45Speaker 2: When I moved to Atlanta to go to Morris Brown,
- 33:49Speaker 2: I actually worked at a daycare, so I was able
- 33:52Speaker 2: to use that because I had did the student teaching,
- 33:55Speaker 2: even though I didn't That's not what I wanted to do, y'all.
- 33:59Speaker 2: It was a me to an end, and I needed
- 34:01Speaker 2: that means because I needed those means. So I I
- 34:06Speaker 2: worked at that daycare for about I want to say,
- 34:13Speaker 2: about six or seven months I worked there. It was
- 34:17Speaker 2: a part time daycare position because I also worked at
- 34:22Speaker 2: the office at the staff and company. The young lady
- 34:28Speaker 2: she ran a staffing company out of her home, and
- 34:34Speaker 2: once she started getting a lot of clients, she moved
- 34:37Speaker 2: into a small office and I worked for her part
- 34:44Speaker 2: time in between the office and what's the name, So
- 34:48Speaker 2: I split my time in between the office and working
- 34:51Speaker 2: at the daycare. So normally I would just work at
- 34:55Speaker 2: the daycare on Monday, Wednesdays, and Friday, and then on
- 35:00Speaker 2: Tuesdays and Thursdays I would go to the office and
- 35:03Speaker 2: do office stuff for her. I did most of like
- 35:08Speaker 2: the time sheets, getting people time sheets together, and making
- 35:11Speaker 2: sure that the hours were ready for her so that
- 35:16Speaker 2: she could do payroll. Yeah, I've always done stuff like that, like,
- 35:20Speaker 2: I've always been in management. Every job that I've worked,
- 35:25Speaker 2: I've always been a manager. I used to be a
- 35:29Speaker 2: store manager for a clothing store called Simply Fashions for
- 35:33Speaker 2: almost eight years, a little over eight years. I traveled,
- 35:37Speaker 2: I did inventory, I did a lot. I actually helped
- 35:42Speaker 2: train the new managers when they came in, and then
- 35:46Speaker 2: a lot of the managers that worked under me, they
- 35:50Speaker 2: got promoted to their own stoes and different things like that.
- 35:53Speaker 2: So I could always say that I was a leader.
- 35:56Speaker 2: I was always that one that did not leave and
- 36:00Speaker 2: keeping stuff to myself. I always I trained everybody in
- 36:05Speaker 2: my store to know how to do things so that
- 36:08Speaker 2: when I was when I wasn't there, that they knew
- 36:11Speaker 2: how to do things. So they didn't always have to
- 36:13Speaker 2: call me. So when I was on vacation, I can
- 36:15Speaker 2: enjoy my vacation. When I was off, I could enjoy
- 36:18Speaker 2: my off day, and I didn't call them when they
- 36:21Speaker 2: were off. You know, I always trained. I watched a
- 36:25Speaker 2: lot of the other managers. They would they didn't want
- 36:30Speaker 2: they staff doing invatory, they didn't want they staff doing this,
- 36:35Speaker 2: they didn't. It was like certain stuff they didn't want
- 36:37Speaker 2: their staff doing that, only only they did. So it
- 36:41Speaker 2: was like they had to be there on them days
- 36:43Speaker 2: and they had to do that. So they was like, no,
- 36:45Speaker 2: I'm not doing that. I believe if if you teach,
- 36:51Speaker 2: if you teach them, then when positions come available like
- 36:55Speaker 2: they did, they were able to move up. They didn't
- 36:58Speaker 2: have to stay there. And that's I tell people, if
- 37:00Speaker 2: you if you are a true leader, and I can
- 37:03Speaker 2: say looking back over my experience and the jobs that
- 37:08Speaker 2: I've worked and the people that I've trained, and the
- 37:10Speaker 2: people that have worked under me. Even my sister has
- 37:12Speaker 2: worked under me, y'all. She don't quit a couple of
- 37:14Speaker 2: times because she said, she said, I'm hard to work
- 37:17Speaker 2: for some time. But I believe that everybody should know
- 37:24Speaker 2: how to do everything. That there should be nobody with
- 37:27Speaker 2: an upper hand on anybody, because if something happened to
- 37:32Speaker 2: anybody in that store, and you may need to close
- 37:36Speaker 2: that store, and if you don't know how to close
- 37:38Speaker 2: that store, then you gotta wait for somebody to come close.
- 37:43Speaker 2: So I think everybody should know how to do whether
- 37:46Speaker 2: you let them do it or not, they should least
- 37:49Speaker 2: know how to do it. Even if you just you
- 37:53Speaker 2: showing you're there and you're watching them do it, you
- 37:56Speaker 2: know that I think they should know how to do it.
- 37:58Speaker 2: And that comes with that comes with confidence and security.
- 38:06Speaker 2: When you are secure with who you are, your talents,
- 38:10Speaker 2: your gifts, those things are you know, worrying about who's
- 38:17Speaker 2: taking things from you, who's stealing, who's doing all that?
- 38:20Speaker 2: That that is something that you would not worry about
- 38:23Speaker 2: because you're confident in the things that you know that
- 38:26Speaker 2: you you have to offer and that you can offer.
- 38:30Speaker 2: So when I hear people that's all the time, saying that,
- 38:36Speaker 2: but somebody out somebody stole this, or somebody took this
- 38:39Speaker 2: from me, or they took my people off, I'm like,
- 38:42Speaker 2: they took your people, Like, well, people don't belong to
- 38:45Speaker 2: you first of all, I say, And if somebody left
- 38:49Speaker 2: and somebody is doing something with somebody else, I say,
- 38:52Speaker 2: they have that right, Like nobody like mention that real close.
- 38:58Speaker 2: But if Shanett go over there and work with somebody else,
- 39:02Speaker 2: that that's Shannette's prerogative. That's Shannette's choice. Should that can
- 39:06Speaker 2: do that. Because Shannette is grown, she she she don't
- 39:11Speaker 2: need me to to say, oh, you can go over
- 39:14Speaker 2: there and do this. You look no, I should be
- 39:19Speaker 2: over here giving her some people to go interview with,
- 39:22Speaker 2: giving her some giving her some places to go. Because
- 39:27Speaker 2: when you are, when you are supportive and you say
- 39:32Speaker 2: you're you're, you're, you're someone's help make and you you true.
- 39:37Speaker 2: Those people that are always saying hey, says hey brother,
- 39:41Speaker 2: but you don't never see they don't never buy no book,
- 39:46Speaker 2: they don't never download nothing for free. They don't never
- 39:48Speaker 2: participate in no challenge. They don't never call in to
- 39:51Speaker 2: none of your shows like I got now over seven
- 39:56Speaker 2: thousand followers, and and I see they be watching, but
- 40:01Speaker 2: they never share nothing that they never come in. They
- 40:07Speaker 2: never call into none of my shows, but they watch
- 40:13Speaker 2: everything like I want why, like they never come in
- 40:21Speaker 2: until I ask the question, really, why are you a
- 40:24Speaker 2: part of? Why are you a part of the things
- 40:28Speaker 2: that I do? You never comment on anything, You never respond,
- 40:35Speaker 2: You never like, you never share. So I'm wondering, really,
- 40:42Speaker 2: why are you here? Are you just watching trying to
- 40:45Speaker 2: see what all you can take in? Did somebody send you?
- 40:51Speaker 2: What is it?
- 40:53Speaker 1: Like?
- 40:54Speaker 2: I want to know because maybe I can help you
- 41:00Speaker 2: and you won't have to be snoozing around. Maybe I
- 41:03Speaker 2: can just give you what you need and then you
- 41:07Speaker 2: can just go on. Like for me, I feel like
- 41:14Speaker 2: if I'm going to be a part of something, especially
- 41:17Speaker 2: if I donate my money or put my money into it,
- 41:21Speaker 2: like I want to get all that I can get
- 41:24Speaker 2: out of it, and then I want to give back something.
- 41:29Speaker 2: I don't want to just come to the table with
- 41:30Speaker 2: my hand out. Just got my hand out and then
- 41:34Speaker 2: ask you ask the question, so you get the answers.
- 41:41Speaker 2: You start getting the answers in and you're looking at
- 41:43Speaker 2: the answers and you're like, well, where you been. That's
- 41:46Speaker 2: what we've been doing in the group. Where you been?
- 41:49Speaker 2: But do you really know what that is? Because that's
- 41:52Speaker 2: what we've been doing in the group. So if you're
- 41:55Speaker 2: looking for this and you're saying we're not doing it,
- 41:59Speaker 2: then do you really they know what you're looking for?
- 42:03Speaker 2: Because sometimes I think people don't know exactly what they're
- 42:07Speaker 2: looking for, but they think that it's supposed to look
- 42:10Speaker 2: like this because this is how somebody else did it.
- 42:15Speaker 2: When you need to look for your own journey, look
- 42:17Speaker 2: for your own path, figure out what you want to do.
- 42:21Speaker 2: Like for the lights of me, I don't like those
- 42:24Speaker 2: phone calls that go, well, so and so is doing this,
- 42:28Speaker 2: and I thought I would do No, I don't like
- 42:30Speaker 2: those phone calls. I like those phone calls where I
- 42:34Speaker 2: have this idea, Can you help me bring this idea
- 42:37Speaker 2: to life? Like I'm looking for those leaders that are
- 42:44Speaker 2: ready to hold events, ready to partner, ready to come
- 42:49Speaker 2: off these social media sites, and ready to have events together.
- 42:53Speaker 2: Like we got eight groups over here under this one
- 42:57Speaker 2: hundred or movement that should be. That's like, at least
- 43:04Speaker 2: every group has at least three people in it. I
- 43:08Speaker 2: think we had one group with two people in it,
- 43:11Speaker 2: but every group has at least three people in it.
- 43:14Speaker 2: Some of them got full, some got five, some got six.
- 43:20Speaker 2: Yet I've yet to see any virtual events. I've yet
- 43:25Speaker 2: to see any type of engagement, true true engagement where
- 43:33Speaker 2: we are really pushing each other by every day. We
- 43:39Speaker 2: should be. We should be posting something about one of
- 43:44Speaker 2: those authors over there, but we're not. And I see
- 43:57Speaker 2: everybody come in and chat, and I see they watch
- 44:01Speaker 2: everything that's posted, but we get no interaction, We get
- 44:12Speaker 2: no initiative from Like, what is it gonna take to
- 44:22Speaker 2: ignite that fire within you? Because a lot of us
- 44:25Speaker 2: say that we want one thing, but it's like we're
- 44:31Speaker 2: doing the total opposite of what we want. Like we
- 44:35Speaker 2: say we won't we we we won't. Exposure, we want visibility,
- 44:40Speaker 2: we we we want more sales, we we we we
- 44:43Speaker 2: want more royalties, we we we we want more we
- 44:48Speaker 2: we we we won't, we won't, we won't. We want more,
- 44:50Speaker 2: more and more and more and more. But we're not
- 44:56Speaker 2: willing to sew our time number one. Not talking about money,
- 45:02Speaker 2: but we're not willing to see our time. We're not
- 45:05Speaker 2: willing to saw our gifts more our talent, because some
- 45:09Speaker 2: have gifts and talents and they just sitting on them,
- 45:11Speaker 2: just waiting for something to fall out the sky. Please
- 45:13Speaker 2: let me know when it falls. I'm gonna be praying
- 45:19Speaker 2: that it don't knock you out, but let me know
- 45:23Speaker 2: when it fall out the sky. Because at the rate
- 45:27Speaker 2: of the thing, the rate of way things going around here,
- 45:32Speaker 2: it ain't gonna be what you wanted to be that's
- 45:35Speaker 2: gonna be falling out the sky. It's gonna be some
- 45:37Speaker 2: of these satellites that Elun and all of these other
- 45:39Speaker 2: people don't send up to the That's what's gonna be
- 45:41Speaker 2: following out the sky, and when it falls, I hope
- 45:43Speaker 2: it hits you and knock some sense into you, and
- 45:46Speaker 2: it knock you and to get up to do something,
- 45:52Speaker 2: because a lot of us we're waiting for a white horse.
- 45:57Speaker 2: We're waiting for something to come and save us. We're
- 45:59Speaker 2: waiting for something to come and get us the going.
- 46:03Speaker 2: Like some of us got books, and for the likes
- 46:09Speaker 2: of us, we think the books are gonna just write theyselves,
- 46:14Speaker 2: and then when they write themselves, they're gonna make us
- 46:16Speaker 2: millions of dollars. But yet we ain't gonna do nothing.
- 46:20Speaker 2: We just gonna sit back and we just gonna we
- 46:23Speaker 2: just gonna just make excuses. Told you'll excuse yourself. Other
- 46:29Speaker 2: than company, I don't deal with in company people, So
- 46:32Speaker 2: I'm gonna deal with excuses. I don't make excuses. If
- 46:36Speaker 2: I can't do it, I'm gonna tell you I can't
- 46:37Speaker 2: do it, and something come up, I'm gonna tell you
- 46:39Speaker 2: it came up. It ain't gonna be no excuse. It's
- 46:41Speaker 2: gonna be the truth, and it's gonna be what happened.
- 46:45Speaker 2: But nine times out of ten, you best believe it.
- 46:47Speaker 2: I'm gonna try to make it happen, even if I'm late.
- 46:51Speaker 2: I'm gonna make it happen. See one thing that that
- 46:59Speaker 2: that God dropped in my spirit a couple of years ago,
- 47:04Speaker 2: and that was, you got to be the change that
- 47:09Speaker 2: you want to see in this world. You you, you
- 47:12Speaker 2: you can't keep expecting other people to be that change.
- 47:16Speaker 2: You can't expect other people to live up to those
- 47:21Speaker 2: things that that that that you want. So in order
- 47:25Speaker 2: for change to come, you got to be that change
- 47:29Speaker 2: that you desired to see. So I stopped talking about
- 47:33Speaker 2: a lot of things, and I just begin to move
- 47:35Speaker 2: and I just begin to do so a lot of times.
- 47:39Speaker 2: You you're gonna you're gonna have me ask you to
- 47:42Speaker 2: do things a couple of times, and then after that
- 47:45Speaker 2: couple of times, I'm going to gona do it myself
- 47:47Speaker 2: because that's what I do, because I don't like to
- 47:51Speaker 2: keep asking people to do stuff because I don't feel
- 47:56Speaker 2: like we If if you you are as passionate about
- 48:03Speaker 2: something that you say you are, and you have the
- 48:07Speaker 2: love for what you say you have, then you're gonna
- 48:13Speaker 2: you're gonna make every attempt You're gonna be intentional about
- 48:16Speaker 2: those things that you that that that you're passionate about
- 48:20Speaker 2: that there's not gonna be anything that's gonna stop you. Like,
- 48:23Speaker 2: we don't make excuses when we go to that nine
- 48:25Speaker 2: to five. We know that we got eight hours that
- 48:27Speaker 2: we gotta go to work. Y'all, come on, jump off,
- 48:31Speaker 2: I don't care you you you you you. You know
- 48:35Speaker 2: it's eight hours that you gotta go to work. You
- 48:40Speaker 2: know that some of us say we're gonna sleep eight hours,
- 48:43Speaker 2: So that's another eight hours, and we know account it
- 48:45Speaker 2: for them eight hours. We accounted for them mad hours
- 48:47Speaker 2: at sixteen hours that we don't account for, So did
- 48:50Speaker 2: you account for those other eight hours? Because they say
- 48:52Speaker 2: it's twenty four hours in a day, So if it's
- 48:54Speaker 2: twenty four hours in a day, then there's other eight
- 48:56Speaker 2: hours need to be accounted for too. Because when you
- 48:59Speaker 2: be in at about those things that that that you
- 49:02Speaker 2: would call to that that means that you're gonna you're
- 49:05Speaker 2: gonna write your schedule, You're gonna you're gonna put it
- 49:07Speaker 2: down in your book that you're gonna you're gonna you're
- 49:09Speaker 2: gonna say, oh, let me go, I gotta write this down.
- 49:12Speaker 2: I got to do this, I gotta do that, I
- 49:13Speaker 2: got to do that, And you're gonna make sure that
- 49:16Speaker 2: it get done. Now that that's that's called being intentional
- 49:21Speaker 2: about those things that you know you're gonna go to sleep.
- 49:23Speaker 2: We got a schedule. We're gonna go to sleep at
- 49:26Speaker 2: a certain time. We got our alarm clock gonna wake
- 49:30Speaker 2: us up at a certain time, and even throughout the
- 49:32Speaker 2: night we get up and go to the bathroom at
- 49:35Speaker 2: a certain time. It's like we we got our bodies
- 49:38Speaker 2: program for for for for the for these things. But
- 49:43Speaker 2: yet we won't set aside time to focus on our business,
- 49:51Speaker 2: to focus on our our our our books, to to
- 49:58Speaker 2: focus on our platform, to focus on our podcast, if
- 50:03Speaker 2: you got a podcast. We don't take time to perfect
- 50:08Speaker 2: those things that we say we are passionate about, to
- 50:12Speaker 2: see how we can evolve, to see how we can
- 50:15Speaker 2: go to the next level, and not only that, to
- 50:18Speaker 2: see how we can bring somebody else along with us
- 50:21Speaker 2: in every step, everywhere we go, we should be figuring
- 50:24Speaker 2: out how we can bring somebody along with us, because
- 50:27Speaker 2: it's all about the greater works and leaven those greater
- 50:30Speaker 2: works for those that are coming behind us. But see
- 50:36Speaker 2: some of us, we get so caught up and and
- 50:41Speaker 2: and trying to to keep up with the Joneses because
- 50:46Speaker 2: they see they over there where they think they over there.
- 50:49Speaker 2: Because see a lot of people think instead of asking,
- 50:53Speaker 2: they assume. And then when you assume, you just make
- 50:56Speaker 2: up out of yourself. Yeah, that word out of yourself.
- 51:00Speaker 2: That assume. Yeah, that first three letters, that's what you
- 51:06Speaker 2: make out of yourself when you assume instead of asking, said,
- 51:11Speaker 2: a lot of people will assume that you making thousands
- 51:15Speaker 2: and thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars. Number one,
- 51:23Speaker 2: I'm trying to teach you, all those that want to
- 51:27Speaker 2: self publish, how you ain't got to be paying the
- 51:30Speaker 2: fifteen hundred, two thousand, three thousand, ten thousand. I heard
- 51:34Speaker 2: people say they don't pay ten thousand dollars get a
- 51:36Speaker 2: book published. And then I look at the book that
- 51:40Speaker 2: I'm like, the book ain't even got these many pages
- 51:42Speaker 2: in it, right where the page is at, and you
- 51:46Speaker 2: paid what I'm like, oh my god. But I'm trying
- 51:54Speaker 2: to teach you how you can self publish. And then
- 52:01Speaker 2: if you don't want me to teach you, guess what.
- 52:04Speaker 2: You can go to Walmart dot com. You can go
- 52:07Speaker 2: to Amazon, you can go to Books of Men, you
- 52:10Speaker 2: can go to all the different platforms. Y'all, and get
- 52:13Speaker 2: the ninety days to publish in with the Queen. Think
- 52:18Speaker 2: it's about eighteen dollars, and then walk you through how
- 52:21Speaker 2: you can self publish, start to finish, y'all, and everybody
- 52:28Speaker 2: do it different, so it ain't gonna be like Mine
- 52:30Speaker 2: may not be what Sally did. Mine may not be
- 52:33Speaker 2: what Johnny did, but it's what I have done to
- 52:36Speaker 2: publish all of the books that I have published, one
- 52:40Speaker 2: hundred and thirty one that Amazon say it say, I
- 52:43Speaker 2: have a one hundred and thirty one up on their platform.
- 52:50Speaker 2: So y'all, we can lead you to the water, but
- 52:57Speaker 2: we can't make your drink. It's like I can I
- 53:05Speaker 2: can put you some coffee in the coffee pott, but
- 53:13Speaker 2: I can't. I can't tell you to put the cream
- 53:16Speaker 2: in the sugar in it, because I don't know how
- 53:17Speaker 2: you take yours. But I take minds with just cream
- 53:25Speaker 2: because it's already sweet. The creamer is sweet, so I
- 53:27Speaker 2: take mines with the flavored creamer and that's it. I
- 53:30Speaker 2: don't I don't use no sugar. That's how I do
- 53:34Speaker 2: my coffee. But it's all about preference. I hope that
- 53:40Speaker 2: something that I've shared today have been a blessing to you. Guys.
- 53:45Speaker 2: If you are an author and you are not attached
- 53:47Speaker 2: to the one hundred after movement, I want you to
- 53:49Speaker 2: get attached to the one hundred Aufter movement. We have
- 53:52Speaker 2: a lot of things going on. We're getting ready for
- 53:56Speaker 2: the AA L A. C. Chase Jery Books Toward stop
- 53:59Speaker 2: in eas Point. That is going to be our first stop.
- 54:02Speaker 2: We're headed to California in June. We're gonna be celebrating
- 54:08Speaker 2: Channette's book release, so definitely I want you guys to
- 54:13Speaker 2: get connected and be a part of that. Come out
- 54:18Speaker 2: to California and celebrate with us. We're also looking to
- 54:23Speaker 2: go to South Carolina in September, Charleston in September. I
- 54:28Speaker 2: know y'all looking forward to having us there. In March,
- 54:31Speaker 2: we're gonna be for those that are not able to
- 54:36Speaker 2: do September, we're gonna we're going to be issuing you
- 54:39Speaker 2: your refund because we believe in sticking to our So
- 54:44Speaker 2: if you want a full refund, you will be getting
- 54:47Speaker 2: a full refund. If not, then we will see you
- 54:49Speaker 2: in September. That that's how that worked. We we're not finna,
- 54:54Speaker 2: We're not up to we don't do We don't do
- 54:56Speaker 2: that if if our events don't take place, and this
- 55:00Speaker 2: for for something that we caused, you get a full refund.
- 55:04Speaker 2: But what I don't like is how people like to
- 55:08Speaker 2: not come to the event and then they try to
- 55:11Speaker 2: say that you scam them and try to do these
- 55:13Speaker 2: fraudulent charges. I actually had someone do that when we
- 55:17Speaker 2: went out to California, try to say that they did
- 55:24Speaker 2: not come to the event and I kept their fee. Well,
- 55:28Speaker 2: you were scheduled to come, your stuff was there. You
- 55:30Speaker 2: decided that the last minute not to come, so and
- 55:34Speaker 2: you were told that you could not get a refund,
- 55:36Speaker 2: but you were also given an option that would have
- 55:42Speaker 2: covered that same price in the fee. We were gonna
- 55:46Speaker 2: do another service that would have been equal to what
- 55:51Speaker 2: she missed out on. But then when she tried to
- 55:54Speaker 2: do that fraudulent claim, I told you don't mess with
- 55:58Speaker 2: me because I'm not the one. She tried to do
- 56:01Speaker 2: that fraudulent claim and tried to seize my money, and
- 56:07Speaker 2: it came back when they looked at it, and I
- 56:09Speaker 2: told them I sent them to paperwork and I showed
- 56:11Speaker 2: them what was in the contract. They naturally just refunded
- 56:15Speaker 2: my money and apologized. So, yeah, we try to stay
- 56:23Speaker 2: on the up and up. One thing we don't do
- 56:25Speaker 2: over here is cheap people out their money. We don't
- 56:29Speaker 2: charge a whole lot so that people can be able
- 56:32Speaker 2: to afford it, so they don't have to be trying to,
- 56:35Speaker 2: you know, take from Peter to pay Paul and Jacob
- 56:38Speaker 2: and Joseph. You know, they can just come to the
- 56:41Speaker 2: event and enjoy the event and be at peace. And
- 56:45Speaker 2: if they are selling merch, they can make them some dimes,
- 56:49Speaker 2: make them some dollars, make them some pennies, make them
- 56:52Speaker 2: some coins, however you want to classify. They get an
- 56:55Speaker 2: opportunity to share their brand and an opportunity to connect
- 56:59Speaker 2: and network. So get connected. If you're not connected, if
- 57:03Speaker 2: you're not a part of the one hundred Out the movement,
- 57:05Speaker 2: get connected to the one hundred out the movement and
- 57:09Speaker 2: see what we got going on, and see how you
- 57:11Speaker 2: can be a part, and see how we can help
- 57:13Speaker 2: you on your journey.
- 57:16Speaker 1: Y'all.
- 57:16Speaker 2: That's it. I'm out of here. I can't believe I
- 57:19Speaker 2: stayed on here that long, but y'all, I'm about to
- 57:21Speaker 2: get ready to take me a nap, because that for
- 57:24Speaker 2: the page paper. Keep my behind and I need to
- 57:27Speaker 2: take me a nap now, so y'all may not see
- 57:30Speaker 2: me until tonight. Chanette Show Snett is on tonight eight
- 57:35Speaker 2: pm Eastern Standard time right here on the Crew Podcast,
- 57:40Speaker 2: So y'all come on back eight pm Eastern Standard time,
- 57:43Speaker 2: five pm Pacific Center time. All things social injustice is
- 57:48Speaker 2: what she do. If you have a loved one that
- 57:50Speaker 2: is incarcerated, wrongfully over incarcerated, even if they did if
- 57:55Speaker 2: they did the crime, and they are going through stuff
- 57:59Speaker 2: and rick experience and stuff that they should be experiencing,
- 58:02Speaker 2: we definitely would like to speak up on their behalf
- 58:05Speaker 2: because regardless of their situation, they are still human and
- 58:10Speaker 2: they supposed to be treated like humans. And she does
- 58:15Speaker 2: we do a lot to make sure that human rights
- 58:18Speaker 2: are being protected and not violated. So that's one of
- 58:21Speaker 2: the things that Sette does. She don't just stand up
- 58:25Speaker 2: for social and justice. She stand up for all human rights.
- 58:29Speaker 2: So if you have a loved one and their human
- 58:31Speaker 2: rights are being violated, y'all reach out to Seanette. She
- 58:35Speaker 2: can get y'all on the show, y'all can share the story,
- 58:38Speaker 2: and she can get that story out there. So again,
- 58:42Speaker 2: thank you guys for tuning in to Monday motivation, your
- 58:47Speaker 2: hour of power with the Queen, and what do power
- 58:51Speaker 2: stand for? What do power stand for? Position overcomer, will
- 59:01Speaker 2: in vessel to educate in power, any courage through resilience.
- 59:15Speaker 2: You didn't get dropped out of the sky. Know that
- 59:18Speaker 2: you were strategically placed here for just this season. No
- 59:21Speaker 2: matter what you are going through, know that it is
- 59:25Speaker 2: part of the process. So go through, get to the
- 59:29Speaker 2: other side so that you can tell your testimony, because
- 59:33Speaker 2: guess what, the test is only for a moment, so
- 59:36Speaker 2: that you can have the testimony, y'all. I love y'all.
- 59:39Speaker 2: I appreciate y'all. I will see y'all back here on
- 59:42Speaker 2: next Monday, same time, same place, and guess what. I
- 59:47Speaker 2: hope y'all have the most magnificent week ever. May your
- 59:52Speaker 2: Monday be blessed beyond what you can see in the natural.
