  Speaker 1: Well? I do believe that although the polls show her

  Speaker 1: having a big lead over her Republican opponent, I do

  Speaker 1: think there is some sign that she's running scared. She

  Speaker 1: may not believe those poles, but I think it has

  Speaker 1: to do with the record that she has built, and

  Speaker 1: she's effectively now running against her record because she realizes

  Speaker 1: it's a liability.

  Speaker 2: Yeah, she's running against Bruce Blakeman. He'll be with us

  Speaker 2: in the next hour. He's a come from behind guy.

  Speaker 2: He did it in Nassau County. He was way behind

  Speaker 2: the polls. The polls were wrong. He's got real star

  Speaker 2: power and he's perfect for governor. He's been the best

  Speaker 2: county executive in America, that's a governor's sort of a job.

  Speaker 2: So what do you think he could pull this off?

  Speaker 1: Goodn't he could? But I think he will need some help,

  Speaker 1: and the help will have to come, I think from Mamdani,

  Speaker 1: the socialist mayor of the city, because he is becoming

  Speaker 1: so unpopular and some of his ideas that I think

  Speaker 1: if Hoko gets too close to him and tries to

  Speaker 1: give him the tax hikes that he wants and all

  Speaker 1: the spending he wants to do, then that's going to

  Speaker 1: be a trap for her, which is why I think

  Speaker 1: she is now trying to run away from this idea

  Speaker 1: of a tax and spend democrat, you know, trying to

  Speaker 1: get the rich to come back from Florida, trying to

  Speaker 1: fix the Climate Act, which he had been a big

  Speaker 1: supporter of. So all these signs tell me that she

  Speaker 1: sees some danger in her relationship with him and his

  Speaker 1: socialist ideas and Auntie Israel advocacy. So I think he

  Speaker 1: is kind of He could help her a lot in

  Speaker 1: the city, or he could help sink her and the

  Speaker 1: rest of the state.

  Speaker 2: Yeah, but then the Bruce Blakeman ads just right themselves,

  Speaker 1: the insincerity of her newfound concern about taxes and spending. Look,

  Speaker 1: Blakeman has been saying the right thing. We haven't seen

  Speaker 1: any movement in his direction in the polls yet, but

  Speaker 1: there's lots of time, and I think he's got to

  Speaker 1: be quick on his seat to move to exploit every

  Speaker 1: mistake that he makes in this regard.

  Speaker 2: All right, now, let me ask you a question, if

  Speaker 2: Yeah. So Blakeman is a phenomenal UH County executive. He'd

  Speaker 1: Probably not? I mean he has aligned himself with the

  Speaker 1: So he's got a very checkered record, to say the least.

  Speaker 1: And the question is can enough of his supporters decide

  Speaker 1: they made a mistake so that he has to begin

  Speaker 1: to change his song.

  Speaker 2: Yeah, he's a I mean, I don't think he understands

  Speaker 2: the role of mayor. It's a management job. It's not

  Speaker 2: right being an activist or being a of crazy.

  Speaker 1: see a Murdy Dean mayor. You see him Dean a candidate.

  Speaker 1: He's still running and this issue, he's clearly playing around

  Speaker 1: with the city budget and the bond readings. And three

  Speaker 1: when three rating agencies within a short period say that

  Speaker 1: the city's outlook has gone from stable to negative and

  Speaker 1: they cite his plans and his preliminary budget, there's a

  Speaker 1: real warning shot across thal.

  Speaker 2: Yeah, hey, Michael good, let me ask you one more thing.

  Speaker 2: The idea of sending the ICE agents into the airports

  Speaker 2: to back up the TSA's a good idea, but I

  Speaker 2: can understand Democrats want to attack the idea. But these

  Speaker 2: crazy statements like Richard Blumenthal saying the ICE agents will

  Speaker 2: grab children away from their families, will brutalize people, might

  Speaker 2: even shoot people. What what is wrong with these blooming

  Speaker 2: all types to even say something like that.

  Speaker 1: Yeah, some disease Trump's arrangement. Right, anything Trump does has

  Speaker 1: to be the end of the world, or does it

  Speaker 1: make news? And that's the way the Democrats are trapped

  Speaker 1: is hyperbolic competition. They have to say the most outrageous,

  Speaker 1: fear mongering things in order to get any attention. And

  Speaker 1: of course the media is happy to play along with

  Speaker 1: it because they're singing from the same tune. But look,

  Speaker 1: I do believe that something's got to be done about

  Speaker 1: the airports. And this is the response to Chuck Schumer's

  Speaker 1: refusal to vote for the Department of Homeland Security budget.

  Speaker 1: I mean Homeland security, I mean it's amazing. Is just

  Speaker 1: the title itself should should wake them up.
