- 1:20Speaker 1: Not Calling ICE agents murderers, but instead saying that you
- 1:24Speaker 1: believe in Jesus Christ? Yeah, that's what's happening. All ahead

- 3:19Speaker 1: Just amazing what's going on. Let's start where I really
- 3:22Speaker 1: want to start with you. Are we about to get
- 3:23Speaker 1: the Fang Fang files? Are the Fang Fang files about
- 3:26Speaker 1: to go public? It certainly seems like it based on
- 3:29Speaker 1: the freak out that Eric Swalwell is undertaking right now.
- 3:32Speaker 1: We have a story from the Washington Post first for you.
- 3:35Speaker 1: Eric Swalwell has sent a cease and desist letter to
- 3:39Speaker 1: FBI Director Kash Patel. Cease and desist. Do not release
- 3:43Speaker 1: this information to the public. Now, remember, you know, this
- 3:47Speaker 1: goes back to a while ago. This is about over
- 3:51Speaker 1: a decade ago that the Chinese Communist Party, the Chi Coms,
- 3:56Speaker 1: had successfully implanted in Eric Swalwell's world. Fang Fang, Christine Fang,
- 4:03Speaker 1: Christine Fang, Fang Fang had entered his world in California
- 4:07Speaker 1: politics and. And he apparently entered her world, too. They
- 4:10Speaker 1: were very close to one another and spent a lot
- 4:13Speaker 1: of time together. And what ended up happening was the
- 4:17Speaker 1: Chai Khams apparently were able to use this relationship to
- 4:20Speaker 1: their own advantage. Now, Swalwell has insisted ever since then that, oh,
- 4:24Speaker 1: I had no idea. I'm just an idiot. I had
- 4:26Speaker 1: no idea that this young woman had a bizarrely high
- 4:32Speaker 1: fascination in Eric freaking Swalwell. What could that have been?
- 4:38Speaker 1: Could it have been his stunning good looks? His impressive
- 4:42Speaker 1: alpha male stature? What was it that attracted Fang Fang
- 4:45Speaker 1: to Eric Swalwell? It was the fact that he was
- 4:48Speaker 1: a sucker. And he's not the only California Democrat who
- 4:51Speaker 1: the CHICOMs targeted. They did that a lot because a
- 4:53Speaker 1: lot of these Democrats ended up being suckers. So Eric
- 4:57Speaker 1: Swalwell is very concerned that you and I are going
- 5:01Speaker 1: to get full access to all the files that the U.S.
- 5:04Speaker 1: government has on this subject. Suddenly, And again, this goes
- 5:07Speaker 1: to this Washington Post report overnight. Eric Swalwell has sent
- 5:10Speaker 1: a cease and desist letter to the FBI. Don't tell anybody.
- 5:15Speaker 1: Attorneys for Representative Eric Swalwell demanded Monday in a letter
- 5:17Speaker 1: to FBI Director Kash Patel that the bureau refrain from
- 5:21Speaker 1: releasing decades old, decade old, one decade old, actually, investigative
- 5:26Speaker 1: files involving the congressman's purported ties to a suspected Chinese
- 5:29Speaker 1: intelligence operative. The congressman called for the FBI to agree
- 5:32Speaker 1: within days not to release the files, don't release the files,
- 5:36Speaker 1: adding that any further action to release them could prompt
- 5:39Speaker 1: him to take legal action. The cease and desist letter
- 5:43Speaker 1: followed a report from the Washington Post over the weekend
- 5:45Speaker 1: that Patel had dispatched agents to review and redact the
- 5:48Speaker 1: files in a potential move to ready them for public release.
- 5:53Speaker 1: Swalwell was not accused of any wrongdoing when the FBI
- 5:56Speaker 1: investigated him and the suspected spy Christine Fang a decade ago.
- 6:00Speaker 1: Swalwell's congressional office said it had immediately cut ties with
- 6:03Speaker 1: Fang when federal agents informed him in 2015 they were
- 6:07Speaker 1: concerned she might be an intelligence operative. More recently, the
- 6:11Speaker 1: Republican-led House Ethics Committee closed a two-year investigation into the
- 6:14Speaker 1: congressman without taking action. Okay, so again, just to reiterate
- 6:20Speaker 1: a very basic point, if Swalwell has nothing to hide,
- 6:24Speaker 1: then what is he panicking about? Why is he so
- 6:27Speaker 1: concerned about this? Isn't the rule on the left, if
- 6:33Speaker 1: you have nothing to hide, then just release the files?
- 6:36Speaker 1: Where are the Epstein files? The Epstein files prove that
- 6:38Speaker 1: Donald Trump is guilty. We're going to release them. And
- 6:41Speaker 1: Trump's like, yeah, you just release them. But every single
- 6:44Speaker 1: time they're like, just release these things, release these things,
- 6:47Speaker 1: except for when it has to do with you.
- 6:49Speaker 2: Okay.
- 6:50Speaker 1: Actually, let's release them. What are you freaking out about?
- 6:53Speaker 1: What are you panicking about? Here's Eric Swalwell yesterday whining
- 6:58Speaker 1: about this.
- 6:59Speaker 3: Whining.
- 6:59Speaker 2: Take a look.
- 7:00Speaker 4: This case is closed.
- 7:02Speaker 5: The Bureau said over 10 years ago all we did
- 7:05Speaker 5: was help. But this effort to weaponize the FBI against
- 7:11Speaker 5: the president's political enemy in a time that we are
- 7:13Speaker 5: at war shows a distraction. It shows an obsession with
- 7:17Speaker 5: going after the president's political opponents.
- 7:20Speaker 2: We're going into the majority a year from now. We
- 7:22Speaker 2: have every intention to do that. And so we will
- 7:26Speaker 2: bring oversight, accountability. We will subpoena the Department of Justice,
- 7:29Speaker 2: but also private actors who have done these drug deals
- 7:33Speaker 2: with the administration, college campuses, entertainment companies, law firms. And
- 7:39Speaker 2: so accountability is coming.
- 7:43Speaker 1: Thank you to Western Lensman for putting those two clips together.
- 7:46Speaker 1: Swalwell just said recently that as soon as Democrats get
- 7:50Speaker 1: power again, we're going to use it tyrannically. We're going
- 7:53Speaker 1: to crush our political opponents with it. We're going to
- 7:56Speaker 1: make their lives absolutely miserable. And yet now when the
- 8:00Speaker 1: Trump administration is reportedly considering releasing more information about how
- 8:04Speaker 1: exactly Eric Swalwell was such an easy mark for the CHICOMs,
- 8:09Speaker 1: Now he's panicking? Oh, you can't do that? That's not allowed?
- 8:12Speaker 1: I'm sorry. You've already promised to abuse your power the
- 8:15Speaker 1: second you get more of it. Meanwhile, the Trump administration
- 8:18Speaker 1: is not doing anything abusive. All they're doing is telling
- 8:21Speaker 1: the public exactly what's going on in our country, and
- 8:23Speaker 1: they're going after the bad guys. This is what we
- 8:25Speaker 1: want them to do. In fact, I want more information
- 8:29Speaker 1: about the Chinese infiltration of our country. This very week,
- 8:32Speaker 1: just on that subject, we'll talk about what's coming. This
- 8:36Speaker 1: very week, on Wednesday, We are expecting oral arguments in
- 8:40Speaker 1: a case involving birthright citizenship in the United States. Birthright citizenship,
- 8:45Speaker 1: this idea that if you're merely born inside of our borders,
- 8:48Speaker 1: you're instantly an American citizen. Now, you and I both
- 8:52Speaker 1: know that the 14th Amendment to the Constitution, which is
- 8:55Speaker 1: where these people say that they derive this legal theory
- 8:59Speaker 1: that everybody born inside of our borders, even if they're
- 9:01Speaker 1: just a Chinese tourist visiting America and suddenly they have
- 9:03Speaker 1: a baby, boom, American citizen. The 14th Amendment was never
- 9:08Speaker 1: meant for that. The drafters of the 14th Amendment were
- 9:10Speaker 1: very clear about what the 14th Amendment was for. It
- 9:13Speaker 1: was for former slaves, for people who were enslaved in
- 9:16Speaker 1: the United States of America, for Black people who were
- 9:20Speaker 1: enslaved in the United States of America to say, you
- 9:23Speaker 1: are a United States citizen.
- 9:25Speaker 4: You were born here.
- 9:26Speaker 1: You're an American. That's what the 14th Amendment is for.
- 9:30Speaker 1: The 13th and the 15th Amendments are all known as
- 9:32Speaker 1: the Civil Rights Amendments to the Constitution for a reason.
- 9:36Speaker 1: And yet it's been distorted. It's been mangled beyond any
- 9:39Speaker 1: intent that the drafters of those amendments intended. It's been
- 9:44Speaker 1: used as a way to invade our country and then
- 9:47Speaker 1: to steal our stuff, to steal from taxpayers. And on
- 9:52Speaker 1: this issue of China, this is also a big deal.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Chinese birth tourism has been a thing for years where
- 9:58Speaker 1: the Tricoms are sending people in, they have a baby
- 10:01Speaker 1: in the United States, and then that baby is made
- 10:03Speaker 1: an American citizen. In fact, we've got tens of thousands
- 10:07Speaker 1: of American citizens living in China right now who have
- 10:11Speaker 1: been created based on this demented system. On Wednesday, tomorrow,
- 10:16Speaker 1: the United States Supreme Court takes up this case. They
- 10:18Speaker 1: take up this debate. Say a prayer for your country
- 10:22Speaker 1: that sanity prevails in that court. Say a prayer that
- 10:25Speaker 1: the squishier justices on the court have some testicular fortitude
- 10:29Speaker 1: to make the right decision here. So yeah, do I
- 10:32Speaker 1: want to know more about the infiltration of the Chai
- 10:34Speaker 1: Khams in the United States? Definitely. This is the great
- 10:38Speaker 1: power battle of our time. This is the great adversarial
- 10:41Speaker 1: battle of our time. In fact, at the core of
- 10:43Speaker 1: every other conflict that you're seeing right now is the
- 10:46Speaker 1: impact on the U.S.-China relationship. What does that look like?
- 10:50Speaker 1: What impact does that have? When Iran sends 90% of
- 10:53Speaker 1: its oil to China, you're damn right it's a big
- 10:56Speaker 1: deal that the president of the United States went in
- 10:58Speaker 1: there to denuclearize them and kick out one of China's
- 11:03Speaker 1: major power courts. It's a huge deal. Keep your eye
- 11:07Speaker 1: on that, the massive thing. But this thing about Fang Fang, yeah,
- 11:13Speaker 1: tell us everything. And if Swalwell had nothing to hide,
- 11:15Speaker 1: he wouldn't be whining about it. Swalwell knows. that there
- 11:20Speaker 1: are details in these files that are either highly damning
- 11:24Speaker 1: or highly embarrassing to him. Highly embarrassing. What does embarrassing mean?
- 11:30Speaker 1: That he's a complete sucker. He's a rube. That the
- 11:33Speaker 1: signs were everywhere. Like, what woman sees Eric Swalwell and
- 11:38Speaker 1: thinks to himself, yeah, I need a piece of that?
- 11:40Speaker 1: Only if you're a chi-com. Only if you're in the
- 11:43Speaker 1: Chinese Communist Party and you want to make him the
- 11:45Speaker 1: idiotic mark that you take advantage of. That's what happened here.
- 11:49Speaker 1: And Swalwell's worried that all of this laundry is about
- 11:52Speaker 1: to be exposed in public. Yeah, that's why he's freaking out.
- 11:56Speaker 1: And this Chinese spy, Fang Fang, she was targeting California
- 12:02Speaker 1: politicians left and right. Axios had a report on this
- 12:04Speaker 1: back in December of 2020. Suspected Chinese spy targeted California politicians.
- 12:10Speaker 1: This Chai Com Intel operative developed extensive ties with with
- 12:15Speaker 1: local and national politicians, including a U.S. congressman, that would
- 12:18Speaker 1: be Eric Swalwell, and what U.S. officials believe was a
- 12:21Speaker 1: political intel operation run by China's main civilian spy agency
- 12:25Speaker 1: between 2011 and 2015. The alleged operation offers a very
- 12:30Speaker 1: rare window on how Beijing has tried to gain access
- 12:33Speaker 1: to and influence U.S. political circles. The suspended operatives activities
- 12:37Speaker 1: appear to have ended during the Obama administration, as the
- 12:40Speaker 1: claim Concerns about Beijing's influence operations have spanned President Trump's
- 12:44Speaker 1: time in office and will continue to be a core
- 12:47Speaker 1: focus for U.S. counterintelligence during the Biden administration. Now, that's
- 12:50Speaker 1: hilarious because, remember, during the Biden era, we had Chinese
- 12:53Speaker 1: spy balloons flying over the United States and not being
- 12:56Speaker 1: stopped at all. But look, here's, I mean, you can
- 13:00Speaker 1: see it right here. Here is Swalwell with Feng Feng.
- 13:05Speaker 1: Right here, look at this. For those of you, rumble.com
- 13:08Speaker 1: slash Vince, There they are.
- 13:10Speaker 4: Look at that.
- 13:10Speaker 1: A little wet behind the ears, Eric Swalwell, hanging out
- 13:13Speaker 1: with Fang Fang. The two of them getting close, holding
- 13:16Speaker 1: some random certificate or whatever. He was given some award,
- 13:19Speaker 1: biggest sucker of the year.
- 13:21Speaker 4: Look at that.
- 13:23Speaker 1: So this guy, so he falls for the Chai Comm lady,
- 13:29Speaker 1: and now he's worried that we're going to find out
- 13:31Speaker 1: more about it. The woman at the center of the operation,
- 13:33Speaker 1: a Chinese national named Fang Fang, targeted up-and-coming local politicians
- 13:38Speaker 1: in the Bay Area and across the country, who had
- 13:40Speaker 1: the potential to make it big on the national stage.
- 13:44Speaker 1: She knew how to pick them. Through campaign fundraising, extensive networking,
- 13:47Speaker 1: personal charisma, and romantic or sexual relationships, they say here
- 13:52Speaker 1: with at least two Midwestern mayors, and Eric Swalwell. Eric Swalwell.
- 13:57Speaker 1: Fang was able to gain proximity to political power, according
- 14:00Speaker 1: to current and former U.S. intel officials. Even though U.S.
- 14:04Speaker 1: officials do not believe that Fang received or passed unclassified information,
- 14:08Speaker 1: the case was a big deal because there were some really,
- 14:11Speaker 1: really sensitive people that were caught.
- 14:12Speaker 6: Up in it.
- 14:14Speaker 1: Yeah, including Eric Swalwell, who ended up on the House
- 14:16Speaker 1: Intel Committee. Fang took part in fundraising activity for Swalwell's
- 14:22Speaker 1: 2014 re-election campaign, according to a Bay Area political operative
- 14:25Speaker 1: and a current U.S. Intel official. Swalwell's office was directly
- 14:30Speaker 1: aware of these activities on its behalf, the political operative said.
- 14:34Speaker 1: That same political operative who witnessed Fang fundraising on Swalwell's
- 14:37Speaker 1: behalf found no evidence of illegal contributions. So this is
- 14:41Speaker 1: another reason why the feds may have details on Eric Swalwell.
- 14:45Speaker 1: The political donations. How aware was Eric Swalwell that the
- 14:51Speaker 1: Chai comms were routing money to his campaign campaign? This is,
- 14:57Speaker 1: they were working to get him elected. The Chinese thought
- 15:00Speaker 1: to themselves, that guy is going to work for our interests.
- 15:04Speaker 1: He's going to work against his own country. Let's get
- 15:06Speaker 1: money into his coffers. Fang also helped place at least
- 15:12Speaker 1: one intern in Swalwell's office, according to the same two people,
- 15:16Speaker 1: and interacted with Swalwell, oh yes she did, at multiple
- 15:19Speaker 1: events over the course of several years. They definitely interacted.
- 15:24Speaker 1: A statement from Swalwell's office, this was 2020, provided to Axios.
- 15:27Speaker 1: Representative Swalwell long ago provided information about this person, whom
- 15:31Speaker 1: he met more than eight years ago and whom he
- 15:34Speaker 1: hasn't seen in nearly six years to the FBI to
- 15:37Speaker 1: protect information that might be classified. He will not participate
- 15:40Speaker 1: in your story.
- 15:41Speaker 6: Got it.
- 15:42Speaker 1: So wait, in this statement, Swalwell's the hero. Swalwell provided
- 15:48Speaker 1: information to the FBI. He's the hero of this story.
- 15:55Speaker 1: Why wouldn't you want that out, Eric? Come on. Why
- 15:59Speaker 1: couldn't you release this information yourself? Your heroism deserves to
- 16:03Speaker 1: be rewarded. Presidential Medal of Freedom, anybody? Eric Swalwell, come on, baby.
- 16:09Speaker 1: Stop being so scared that you're going to get all
- 16:11Speaker 1: the credit that you deserve. But now he's trying to
- 16:14Speaker 1: send a cease and desist to the FBI. Typical stuff.
- 16:18Speaker 1: So anyway, keep your eyes open for that. I love that.
- 16:20Speaker 1: I love, love, love that. Pretty funny stuff. Eric Swalwell.
- 16:25Speaker 1: We may get some more information about him soon.
- 16:27Speaker 2: Good.
- 16:28Speaker 6: Good.
- 16:28Speaker 1: Transparency is the name of the game. I want to
- 16:30Speaker 1: find out a lot more. All right, coming up in
- 16:32Speaker 1: just a moment, I want to tell you a little
- 16:33Speaker 1: bit more about what the FBI is revealing this week.
- 16:36Speaker 1: We found out more about that horrific terror attack that
- 16:40Speaker 1: took place at a synagogue in Michigan earlier this month.
- 16:43Speaker 1: We know that it was a part of, what was it,
- 16:47Speaker 1: four Islamic terror attacks, Islamist terror attacks, earlier this month
- 16:51Speaker 1: in the United States. And now we've found out more
- 16:54Speaker 1: detail about its connection to Hezbollah, the Iranian-backed militant group,
- 17:01Speaker 1: the terror group. I've got more on that all ahead
- 17:03Speaker 1: on this edition of Vince. And of course, Senator Roger
- 17:06Speaker 1: Marshall's coming up here shortly. We'll talk to him. I
- 17:08Speaker 1: want to thank one of our great sponsors today. That
- 17:10Speaker 1: is Patriot Mobile for supporting our country and supporting this program.

- 18:26Speaker 1: to Patriot Mobile. Appreciate you guys. Some people in the
- 18:30Speaker 1: chat saying that Fang Fang was hot. Thank you, Pelican Pete.
- 18:34Speaker 1: Pelican Pete, Fang Fang was hot. Yeah, wasn't Fang Fang
- 18:36Speaker 1: like way out of Eric Swalwell's league? Isn't there any
- 18:39Speaker 1: part of you? I've said this before, but I'll just reiterate.
- 18:43Speaker 1: Do you think Fang Fang was disappointed when she drew
- 18:45Speaker 1: the Eric Swalwell straw? Like when all the Chi-Com spies
- 18:49Speaker 1: got together and they were each given their assignments and,
- 18:53Speaker 1: you know, Chinese Communist Party emissary turns to Fang Fang
- 18:57Speaker 1: and says, you have Eric Swalwell? Does her face collapse
- 19:01Speaker 1: in disappointment? Like, okay, I'll do it for my country.
- 19:06Speaker 1: I'll do it for the Chi-Coms. But only for the Chi-Coms.
- 19:12Speaker 1: Eric Swalwell. Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha. That's what alcohol
- 19:17Speaker 1: is for. Thank you, Ishmael. I think she drew the
- 19:21Speaker 1: short straw. That's pretty funny.
- 19:24Speaker 3: All right.
- 19:24Speaker 1: Somebody's got the hots. Not out of his league, says 2BuckDC.
- 19:27Speaker 1: 2BuckDC has the hots for Eric Swalwell. You've got to
- 19:30Speaker 1: deal with that. I don't know what to tell you.
- 19:32Speaker 7: All right.
- 19:32Speaker 1: Let's see here. I've got some other things to get
- 19:36Speaker 1: to here. We've got the FBI. We got the FBI
- 19:39Speaker 1: revealing details of the Michigan synagogue terror attack this month.
- 19:43Speaker 1: Michigan earlier this month. a man called Ayman Mohammed Ghazali,
- 19:48Speaker 1: 41 years old, born in Lebanon, buys a bunch of
- 19:53Speaker 1: guns and ammo and a huge quantity of commercial-grade fireworks
- 19:57Speaker 1: and gasoline, and then he drives his vehicle directly through
- 20:01Speaker 1: the doors of this synagogue. Remember, that one of the
- 20:06Speaker 1: happy endings of this story is that the security guards
- 20:09Speaker 1: who were there, who were just trained by the FBI,
- 20:11Speaker 1: not even a month before, in how to handle an
- 20:14Speaker 1: active shooter situation, they were there, weapons drawn, firing on
- 20:17Speaker 1: this guy and stopping this threat as he barrels into
- 20:22Speaker 1: the building, which is, God bless him for it. But
- 20:26Speaker 1: this is horrible, this terror attack. So what was this? Well,
- 20:30Speaker 1: take a look here. We got some more information cut too.
- 20:32Speaker 1: He was motivated. by Hezbollah.
- 20:35Speaker 8: Based on the evidence gathered to date, we assess this
- 20:38Speaker 8: attack to be a Hezbollah inspired act of terrorism, purposely
- 20:42Speaker 8: targeting the Jewish community and the largest Jewish temple in Michigan.
- 20:47Speaker 8: The FBI defines terrorism as a violent criminal act by
- 20:51Speaker 8: an individual who is inspired by or associated with a
- 20:55Speaker 8: designated foreign terrorist organization. We do not make this characterization
- 21:00Speaker 8: lightly without a thorough review of and keen evaluation of
- 21:04Speaker 8: the facts. In this case, the evidence shows the attacker
- 21:08Speaker 8: was motivated and inspired by Hezbollah's militant ideology.
- 21:14Speaker 1: Motivated by Hezbollah. Terror attack here in the United States
- 21:17Speaker 1: of America. Meanwhile, DHS goes unfunded, thanks to the Democrats,
- 21:21Speaker 1: who aren't that interested in homeland security right now. No
- 21:24Speaker 1: interest whatsoever. Everybody's on vacation. The entire United States Senate
- 21:28Speaker 1: right now. Again, we'll talk to Roger Marshall coming up
- 21:31Speaker 1: in a few minutes about that. but inspired by Hezbollah.
- 21:36Speaker 1: Has the media been talking about this at some great length?
- 21:39Speaker 1: Any concern whatsoever? Because it doesn't really seem like it.
- 21:42Speaker 1: I'm glad the FBI has given us an update on
- 21:44Speaker 1: the subject. We also know, thanks to the FBI update yesterday,
- 21:47Speaker 1: that the terrorist actually recorded a video of himself declaring
- 21:52Speaker 1: his motivations right before he conducted the attack. So all
- 21:56Speaker 1: the evidence is there. He recorded it.
- 21:58Speaker 2: Watch.
- 21:59Speaker 8: God willing, I will kill as many of them as
- 22:01Speaker 8: I possibly can. He sends a quick three-second video with
- 22:05Speaker 8: the same screenshot shortly after and types the message, a
- 22:10Speaker 8: special operation. In between these videos and photos, the assailant
- 22:16Speaker 8: exchanged five short phone calls with his ex-wife, who called
- 22:20Speaker 8: Dearborn Heights, the police department, requesting that they do a
- 22:24Speaker 8: welfare check on her ex-husband. And at 1219... As we
- 22:30Speaker 8: all know, the assailant drove his vehicle ramming into the
- 22:33Speaker 8: doors of Door 5, and he hit it twice. Tried
- 22:37Speaker 8: once to hit it, had to reposition his truck, and
- 22:39Speaker 8: then came in at a high rate of speed, going
- 22:41Speaker 8: about 200 feet down the hallway.
- 22:47Speaker 1: He screamed, Allahu Akbar. He shouted it into the video
- 22:51Speaker 1: camera before he conducted the attack. We have a problem
- 22:56Speaker 1: in America. We have people who have... invaded our country,
- 23:01Speaker 1: often welcomed in by the Democrats, who have turned around
- 23:05Speaker 1: and either actively killed Americans or attempted to. And in
- 23:09Speaker 1: this case, were stopped by armed Americans. That's the story
- 23:13Speaker 1: right now. We have a crisis in the United States
- 23:15Speaker 1: of America. We have a Homeland Security crisis and a
- 23:20Speaker 1: Department of Homeland Security that doesn't have funding right now
- 23:23Speaker 1: because the left wants the chaos. They want it. In fact,
- 23:28Speaker 1: they want it so badly that they're willing to reinterpret
- 23:33Speaker 1: reality and invert it, and then to tell you that
- 23:36Speaker 1: good things are bad things. Like for instance, the left
- 23:39Speaker 1: is consistently attacking ICE. They're making out the good guys
- 23:44Speaker 1: are the bad guys in their worldview. And therefore we
- 23:47Speaker 1: have to stop, and in some cases attack in the
- 23:50Speaker 1: left's eyes, the good guys to help induce the chaos.
- 23:54Speaker 1: An example of this is yesterday on Ms.
- 23:58Speaker 4: Now.
- 23:58Speaker 1: You know that network, Ms.
- 23:59Speaker 6: Now?
- 24:00Speaker 1: It's where all the hosts have resting Democrat face. One
- 24:04Speaker 1: of their morning hosts, a woman called Mika Brzezinski, she
- 24:08Speaker 1: said that President Trump's use of ICE to alleviate the
- 24:11Speaker 1: airport traffic is actually a great thing because it reminds
- 24:16Speaker 1: Americans of what a bunch of murderers they are. Take
- 24:21Speaker 1: a look at the delusional rantings of one Mika Brzezinski
- 24:24Speaker 1: over on Ms.
- 24:24Speaker 4: Now.
- 24:24Speaker 1: Watch.
- 24:27Speaker 9: I mean, there are really no words to describe the
- 24:31Speaker 9: pain and trauma that this administration has caused for so
- 24:37Speaker 9: many people across the country with their deportation program. They're
- 24:41Speaker 9: violent and unlawful, brutish, and some would say murderous deportation program.
- 24:48Speaker 1: It's totally lawful.
- 24:49Speaker 9: It's really a stain and a strain on what we
- 24:54Speaker 9: all know is the American dream. It's a value that
- 24:58Speaker 9: binds us together. And ICE rips that apart. So I
- 25:02Speaker 9: say ICE at airports may be a good idea. Because
- 25:06Speaker 9: as millions of people travel across the country... for spring
- 25:11Speaker 9: break or whatever else, they'll be reminded when they see
- 25:15Speaker 9: ICE of Trump's worst policy, at least one of his
- 25:19Speaker 9: worst policies ever to rain down on this country. So
- 25:23Speaker 9: let us never turn a blind eye on what ICE
- 25:28Speaker 9: is doing to human beings in this country, America. And
- 25:33Speaker 9: let ICE at the nation's airports be that reminder for
- 25:37Speaker 9: everyone as they move on with their lives and go
- 25:40Speaker 9: on their vacations and live well as ICE rains hell
- 25:46Speaker 9: down on communities and people and families, some undocumented but
- 25:51Speaker 9: still with rights in this country. They break everything.
- 25:55Speaker 1: And it's a good reminder. Oh my goodness. Oh my goodness.
- 25:58Speaker 1: Dispatches from opposite worlds. That's a perfect inversion of the truth.
- 26:02Speaker 1: And by the way, I instantly was able to determine
- 26:05Speaker 1: that woman flies private. She's not actually going through security.
- 26:10Speaker 1: She hasn't encountered ICE at the airport. She's flying private.
- 26:15Speaker 1: There's no way. There's no way. Because Americans who've encountered
- 26:18Speaker 1: ICE at the airport have enjoyed their experiences. She thinks
- 26:22Speaker 1: this is some big own on the ICE agents. Oh,
- 26:25Speaker 1: they'll see them and they'll be reminded of their tyranny.
- 26:28Speaker 1: How they're making America a terrible place. Actually, what they're
- 26:32Speaker 1: going to do is they're going to find out that
- 26:33Speaker 1: people like you have been lying to them. That's what
- 26:36Speaker 1: they'll do. That the spell can be broken by that
- 26:40Speaker 1: human contact with ICE officers who are there to help
- 26:44Speaker 1: American citizens on their travels. They're doing extra work now.
- 26:48Speaker 1: As I've said before, they're the Marco Rubio of government agencies.
- 26:52Speaker 1: They do it all. They're saving the lives of children.
- 26:54Speaker 1: They're reuniting families. They're deporting illegals. And they're helping at
- 26:59Speaker 1: the airport. They do it all. And as far as
- 27:02Speaker 1: Tom Holman and President Trump are concerned, they're going to
- 27:04Speaker 1: keep doing it as long as the need is there.
- 27:08Speaker 1: As far as TSA is concerned, they've started receiving paychecks
- 27:10Speaker 1: thanks to the president's emergency order. He just put an
- 27:13Speaker 1: emergency order through to get them paid. which is wonderful.
- 27:18Speaker 1: They got a couple of weeks of paychecks. And the
- 27:20Speaker 1: goal here is to get everybody back to work. But
- 27:22Speaker 1: we need a permanent solution. And the permanent solution would
- 27:25Speaker 1: be if Congress would get its ass back to Washington
- 27:29Speaker 1: and actually pass DHS funding. That would be good, wouldn't it?
- 27:34Speaker 1: Coming up, we're going to talk to a U.S. Senator
- 27:35Speaker 1: about this, Roger Marshall, and find out his perspective on
- 27:39Speaker 1: why it is that the United States Senate is on
- 27:41Speaker 1: a fake recess right now and what can be done
- 27:43Speaker 1: about it. It's all ahead on this edition of Vince.

- 29:45Speaker 1: here to join us on the program right now, I'm
- 29:47Speaker 1: glad to have with us Senator Roger Marshall of the
- 29:50Speaker 1: great state of Kansas. Sir, it is so good as
- 29:53Speaker 1: always to talk to you today. Thank you, sir, for
- 29:55Speaker 1: joining us.
- 29:56Speaker 4: Miss, look forward to the conversation. We got a lot
- 29:58Speaker 4: to talk about.
- 29:59Speaker 1: We do have a lot to talk about. Tell me
- 30:02Speaker 1: why the United States Senate is in what I call
- 30:04Speaker 1: a fake recess. And what I mean by that, I
- 30:07Speaker 1: know you know this, but right now the Senate's not
- 30:10Speaker 1: actually in an official recess. They're gaveling every couple of days.
- 30:14Speaker 1: And the reason that the Senate does that is to
- 30:16Speaker 1: prevent the president from exercising his recess appointment power. That's
- 30:19Speaker 1: why the Senate does this. That all seems crazy to me.
- 30:22Speaker 1: Why is this happening right now?
- 30:25Speaker 4: Well, Well, Vince, I wish I had a great explanation,
- 30:27Speaker 4: and I really don't, and I don't pretend to have one.
- 30:30Speaker 4: All I can tell you is that the Democrats do
- 30:32Speaker 4: not want to fund ICE. They don't want to fund DHS.
- 30:36Speaker 4: They want these tens of millions of people that are
- 30:39Speaker 4: in this country illegally, they want to give them a
- 30:41Speaker 4: path to citizenship and a path to vote. So we're
- 30:44Speaker 4: just beating our head against the wall. Remember, it was
- 30:47Speaker 4: 30 days before, 30 days after they shut down DHS
- 30:51Speaker 4: that they were willing to even sit down and talk
- 30:53Speaker 4: to us. I think they've proven, they've proven that we
- 30:57Speaker 4: overestimated that we could get 10 of them across the
- 31:00Speaker 4: aisle and join us in funding DHS or ICE. We're
- 31:04Speaker 4: just at an impasse. So we need to work on
- 31:06Speaker 4: a reconciliation bill. It'll take them two weeks, them, Leader Thune,
- 31:12Speaker 4: John Thune, Speaker Johnson, the White House, to figure out
- 31:15Speaker 4: what that reconciliation package looks like. As soon as they
- 31:18Speaker 4: get it together, you know, we'll come back and vote
- 31:20Speaker 4: on it.
- 31:21Speaker 1: But why is the Senate taking a vacation at all?
- 31:24Speaker 1: So because as I understand it, and you can speak
- 31:26Speaker 1: to it very directly, Senator, one of the ways you
- 31:29Speaker 1: can compel senators to actually do something is the tyranny
- 31:32Speaker 1: of the process. You just exhaust them. You force them
- 31:35Speaker 1: to work a lot. And eventually they're like, I don't
- 31:38Speaker 1: want to be here anymore. OK, fine, I'll vote yes
- 31:40Speaker 1: on this. And why not use that during this really,
- 31:43Speaker 1: first of all, is a critical election year. But more importantly,
- 31:45Speaker 1: you know, the president has this agenda to save America.
- 31:48Speaker 1: We have to get the Save America Act passed. Super important. Also,
- 31:51Speaker 1: DHS needs to be funded. Why not just take this
- 31:54Speaker 1: to the mat and fight like crazy right now? Why
- 31:58Speaker 1: have a vacation at all?
- 32:00Speaker 4: Yeah, because, well, no one's on vacation. I'm in the
- 32:03Speaker 4: middle of my 105-county tour. I'm back here meeting the
- 32:07Speaker 4: people of Kansas. We were getting nothing done in Washington. Insanity,
- 32:13Speaker 4: doing the same thing over, expecting a different result. When
- 32:17Speaker 4: you're in the minority, when you're in the minority of
- 32:19Speaker 4: the Senate, it gives you the advantage. So what they
- 32:22Speaker 4: can do is we tried to drag this out as
- 32:25Speaker 4: best we could with them. But when you're in the minority,
- 32:27Speaker 4: you can ask for quorum calls. You can ask for
- 32:30Speaker 4: amendments on the floor, forcing the majority to stick around.
- 32:35Speaker 4: So we saw that. We stuck around over a week
- 32:37Speaker 4: of them. Ten of them checked out. You know, who
- 32:39Speaker 4: was the first one on the train out of town?
- 32:41Speaker 4: You know, it's Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders. When we
- 32:45Speaker 4: went up for the weekend, they don't need to stick
- 32:47Speaker 4: around for the votes. But when you had the majority,
- 32:49Speaker 4: you have to stick around. So it punishes the majority.
- 32:52Speaker 4: And that's the way it was set up. It was
- 32:54Speaker 4: set up. The Senate is set up to protect the minority. Remember,
- 32:57Speaker 4: we're not a democracy. We're a republic. So the Senate.
- 33:00Speaker 4: protect those who are in the minority, and Senate in
- 33:03Speaker 4: general protects small states.
- 33:05Speaker 1: I think I understand the point you're making, and you
- 33:07Speaker 1: may not be on vacation. You may be working during
- 33:09Speaker 1: this period, but I just saw pictures of Lindsey Graham
- 33:11Speaker 1: at Disney World. There's clearly members of the Senate who
- 33:14Speaker 1: are on vacation right now. And my thought process, and
- 33:18Speaker 1: certainly I know that my audience shares this, is we
- 33:20Speaker 1: have to torment the Senate into compliance. We have to
- 33:24Speaker 1: torment the Senate into getting these critical priorities passed And
- 33:29Speaker 1: when you see senators leave town, you're left with only
- 33:32Speaker 1: this conclusion, which is like, they don't think this is
- 33:34Speaker 1: as important as we do.
- 33:37Speaker 4: Vince, again, I can assure you that at the leadership position,
- 33:41Speaker 4: they're trying to hammer this out. The Democrats have said
- 33:44Speaker 4: hell no. They've said hell no to voter ID. Not
- 33:47Speaker 4: one Democrat senator would vote for voter ID despite 70%
- 33:51Speaker 4: of Democrats supporting voter ID. And they will not fund ICE.
- 33:56Speaker 4: They're not going to fund DHS. So they have closed
- 33:59Speaker 4: that circuit. Shame on us for thinking for some 40
- 34:03Speaker 4: days that we could get some Democrats to come across
- 34:05Speaker 4: the aisle. Now, I do wish the Senate could do
- 34:09Speaker 4: a better job of going down two roads at the
- 34:11Speaker 4: same time. I was looking for a reconciliation bill weeks
- 34:14Speaker 4: ago and to get started on that. But the leadership
- 34:17Speaker 4: folks are putting this reconciliation bill together, working hand in
- 34:21Speaker 4: hand with the White House. It'll be a miracle for
- 34:23Speaker 4: them to get this together in two weeks to figure
- 34:25Speaker 4: out exactly what we're going to fund. How are we
- 34:27Speaker 4: going to put the SAVE Act into a reconciliation bill?
- 34:30Speaker 4: So it sounds really easy, but right now our staffs
- 34:34Speaker 4: are working really hard. phone calls as needed. Look, I'm
- 34:39Speaker 4: not anxious. I'm as determined as you are, but it
- 34:42Speaker 4: looks easier said than done.
- 34:44Speaker 1: Okay. So you mentioned reconciliation. Obviously, that's a vehicle where
- 34:49Speaker 1: funding priorities can happen. So funding DHS, for instance, that
- 34:53Speaker 1: doesn't seem like a difficult call for reconciliation. But the
- 34:56Speaker 1: Save America Act, you know, Mike Lee has already declared
- 35:00Speaker 1: that's impossible. Like getting any real priorities and reconciliation for
- 35:04Speaker 1: the Save America Act That's impossible because it needs to
- 35:08Speaker 1: have a meaningful budgetary impact to be included in reconciliation.
- 35:12Speaker 1: These are matters of policy for the United States, the
- 35:14Speaker 1: Save America Act, like whether or not you have to
- 35:16Speaker 1: show an ID at the polls, not something apparently that
- 35:19Speaker 1: can be done in reconciliation. And this is not even
- 35:21Speaker 1: a Senate rule. This is a statute. This is a law,
- 35:23Speaker 1: the way reconciliation is conducted. So what do you anticipate
- 35:28Speaker 1: about that?
- 35:29Speaker 4: Yeah, Biz, I mean, you're spot on. I don't want
- 35:31Speaker 4: to overpromise and underdeliver. What we cannot do with reconciliation,
- 35:35Speaker 4: by reconciliation, we reconcile the budget. So whatever we pass,
- 35:41Speaker 4: vote on even, has to do more with budget than
- 35:43Speaker 4: with policy. So, for instance, with the last reconciliation bill,
- 35:47Speaker 4: our working family tax cuts bill, we weren't able to
- 35:50Speaker 4: outlaw abortion, but we were able to defund Planned Parenthood
- 35:53Speaker 4: for a year. So I think we have to use
- 35:55Speaker 4: that same type of technique with this reconciliation bill, and
- 35:59Speaker 4: it'll have to be very thoughtful. So what we cannot do,
- 36:02Speaker 4: we're not going to be able to force states to
- 36:04Speaker 4: have voter ID or proof of citizenship. But what we
- 36:08Speaker 4: can do is use the power of the purse. So
- 36:11Speaker 4: right now, 35 states have some type of voter ID.
- 36:15Speaker 4: What we can do is give them monies. to help
- 36:17Speaker 4: them work on their voter rolls. And we can hook
- 36:21Speaker 4: them up with technology to look at DHS's rolls, who's
- 36:27Speaker 4: on government aid, immigration aid. We can have them look
- 36:31Speaker 4: at Social Security information. We can have them look at
- 36:34Speaker 4: the passport information and figure out if the people who
- 36:37Speaker 4: are registered to vote in their states are citizens or not.
- 36:41Speaker 4: So I think that there is some power of the
- 36:43Speaker 4: purse here. Every year we give the states about between
- 36:46Speaker 4: $ 15 and $ 75 million for elections. So I think that if, look,
- 36:52Speaker 4: I'm not sure if we can do this all the way,
- 36:53Speaker 4: but in my opinion, if you don't go back and
- 36:57Speaker 4: go through your voter rolls every year, if you don't
- 36:59Speaker 4: have voter ID, then we're not going to give you
- 37:01Speaker 4: any of that money. So I think there's some things
- 37:03Speaker 4: we can nip at the edges, just like we defunded
- 37:05Speaker 4: Planned Parenthood.
- 37:07Speaker 1: So you think it is possible to create either incentives
- 37:10Speaker 1: or consequences for states who don't have election integrity?
- 37:13Speaker 4: I think so. I think, you know, basically we can
- 37:15Speaker 4: stop funding these blue states that have, you know, I
- 37:18Speaker 4: think the biggest challenge to me is when you send
- 37:20Speaker 4: out unsolicited ballots and you don't have any type of confirmation.
- 37:24Speaker 4: Is that person dead you sent it to or not?
- 37:27Speaker 4: Do they still live in the state? All those types
- 37:29Speaker 4: of things as well. So I think we can defund
- 37:32Speaker 4: those blue states that have no election integrity. We'll see.
- 37:35Speaker 4: And again, it's easier said than done. It has to
- 37:38Speaker 4: be thoughtful. We have to do the birdbath. And it'll
- 37:41Speaker 4: take days arguing this in front of the parliamentarian.
- 37:44Speaker 1: I want to use some of the evidence that you
- 37:47Speaker 1: just laid out against the Democrats to point out that
- 37:50Speaker 1: perhaps the filibuster as it exists right now is overdue
- 37:54Speaker 1: to be torn up. Because these Democrats, you have a
- 37:59Speaker 1: gentleman's agreement with them on a number of issues in
- 38:01Speaker 1: the United States Senate. The filibuster is an example of that.
- 38:04Speaker 1: You basically, because they're in the minority right now, they've
- 38:06Speaker 1: got power over Senate business if you can't get 60
- 38:09Speaker 1: votes on most things. Also, you've got the blue slip
- 38:12Speaker 1: process that allows Democrats to simply veto U.S. attorney picks
- 38:15Speaker 1: and federal judges if they're in their state. Like Adam
- 38:18Speaker 1: Schiff gets a veto over the president's picks. These gentlemen's agreements...
- 38:24Speaker 1: are not serving the American people well anymore. There was
- 38:27Speaker 1: a time when they might have been, but now they're
- 38:29Speaker 1: not because you can't even get senators to fund the
- 38:31Speaker 1: Department of Homeland Security. That's how crazy this has gotten,
- 38:35Speaker 1: Senator Marshall. So at what point do we say, you
- 38:38Speaker 1: know what? We should scrap this because it is hurting
- 38:41Speaker 1: our country. It's not merely some tool that's gonna help
- 38:44Speaker 1: us in the future. The Democrats are gonna blow through it.
- 38:46Speaker 1: What do you think?
- 38:47Speaker 4: Yeah, so Vince, I agree with you, but it wasn't
- 38:50Speaker 4: without months of thought about it. I've thought about this
- 38:53Speaker 4: as much as I thought about what college I was
- 38:55Speaker 4: going to go to, what medical school I was going
- 38:58Speaker 4: to go to, what type of doctor I was going
- 38:59Speaker 4: to be after I finished medical school. And it's been
- 39:02Speaker 4: a process for me, but I'm ready to do it.
- 39:04Speaker 4: I come to that same conclusion. But I would guess,
- 39:07Speaker 4: I think there's only 10 or 12 of us on
- 39:10Speaker 4: public record saying we're ready to end the filibuster. I
- 39:13Speaker 4: bet there's a third of the Senate that's a hell no,
- 39:16Speaker 4: Republican senators, and probably a third that are undecided. And
- 39:19Speaker 4: these are thoughtful people, Vince. However much time, I mean,
- 39:22Speaker 4: with all due respect that you've spent on this, United
- 39:24Speaker 4: States senators have spent 10x time debating this. And we
- 39:27Speaker 4: have debated it many times, that again, the filibuster protects
- 39:31Speaker 4: you when you're in the minority, and we're not going
- 39:33Speaker 4: to be in the majority all the time. And the
- 39:35Speaker 4: Senate itself protects small states. Again, we're a republic and
- 39:38Speaker 4: not a democracy. And so I guess I'm saying is
- 39:41Speaker 4: I respect where they're coming from. But I think that
- 39:44Speaker 4: that Election integrity is so important that I'm willing to
- 39:48Speaker 4: end the filibuster, especially the silent filibuster. Make them go
- 39:53Speaker 4: up and hold the floor and talk as long as
- 39:55Speaker 4: they want to. So I'm very willing to do that.
- 39:59Speaker 4: But again, a third of my Republican colleagues are not.
- 40:02Speaker 4: And these are thoughtful people. I know we kind of
- 40:05Speaker 4: like to trash some of them, but these are very
- 40:07Speaker 4: thoughtful people.
- 40:08Speaker 1: Well, maybe so. But as you concluded, they're wrong. They're
- 40:12Speaker 1: wrong on this position because what they're not recognizing that
- 40:16Speaker 1: you've clearly come to a recognition about is what time
- 40:19Speaker 1: it is in our country, that you're dealing with agents
- 40:21Speaker 1: of chaos across the political aisle and that they will
- 40:25Speaker 1: gain power and they will kick that wall down and
- 40:27Speaker 1: they're going to establish new states. They're going to grow
- 40:30Speaker 1: their Senate majority fraudulently. They're going to pack the United
- 40:33Speaker 1: States Supreme Court. Peril lies ahead if more senators don't
- 40:37Speaker 1: arrive at your position. So you may find them to
- 40:40Speaker 1: be making sophisticated arguments, but you clearly believe that they're wrong, correct?
- 40:44Speaker 4: Yeah, I do. And this is one of my summary
- 40:46Speaker 4: thoughts in my head is I don't want to die
- 40:49Speaker 4: on this sort of principle. Look, I have my values
- 40:53Speaker 4: and my sort of principle, but I don't want to
- 40:55Speaker 4: lose the republic because of it, right? I live in
- 40:58Speaker 4: the real world. I don't live in an ivory tower.
- 41:01Speaker 4: If you would enshrine the filibuster in the- and tell
- 41:04Speaker 4: me the Democrats will never take it away, I would
- 41:07Speaker 4: probably vote yes on that. But that's not the world
- 41:10Speaker 4: we live in, as you pointed out. There's no longer
- 41:12Speaker 4: this political middle. And we just come to a gridlock, unfortunately.
- 41:16Speaker 4: That's what it feels like to me, is we've come
- 41:18Speaker 4: to this gridlock for a lot of reasons. And it
- 41:22Speaker 4: is just a different day in America than it was
- 41:25Speaker 4: in 1917 when they started these filibuster rules.
- 41:28Speaker 1: Can you take, I always ask senators to try and
- 41:30Speaker 1: take me behind the scenes, if you could, in terms
- 41:32Speaker 1: of like, you know, the way things are working inside
- 41:35Speaker 1: of that building. John Thune was asked many times this
- 41:39Speaker 1: year about the Save America Act and the use of
- 41:42Speaker 1: the speaking filibuster as a tool to pass it. And
- 41:45Speaker 1: this audience is pretty familiar with the way that that
- 41:47Speaker 1: would work. But just to remind people, it would be
- 41:49Speaker 1: by a simple majority, but you would need all the
- 41:52Speaker 1: Republican senators to agree to engage in this process. And
- 41:55Speaker 1: it would be a long-winded one. no doubt, to engage
- 41:58Speaker 1: in a fight like that. But at the end of it,
- 42:00Speaker 1: if you exhaust everybody speaking, you can pass legislation by
- 42:03Speaker 1: simple majorities. The way the Senate used to conduct business
- 42:06Speaker 1: just doesn't do it anymore these days. Having said all that,
- 42:09Speaker 1: every time John Thune was asked about it, he would
- 42:11Speaker 1: just say, well, we just don't have the numbers. We
- 42:13Speaker 1: just don't have the numbers, is what he would say.
- 42:15Speaker 1: He would kind of assess it like he was a dispassionate,
- 42:18Speaker 1: you know, play-by-play commentator. But he's the leader. As President
- 42:22Speaker 1: Trump just said this week, again, he's like, if you're
- 42:24Speaker 1: a leader, you need to be a leader. You need
- 42:26Speaker 1: to twist some arms. You need to actually try and
- 42:28Speaker 1: convince people to join this fight. How much arm twisting
- 42:32Speaker 1: was going on in the Senate, Senator? How much was
- 42:35Speaker 1: the leadership trying to get people to use the speaking
- 42:38Speaker 1: filibuster to pass this?
- 42:39Speaker 4: Yeah, you know, everyone has their different leadership skills, Vince,
- 42:42Speaker 4: and I would say that John Thune has done an
- 42:45Speaker 4: incredible job. I think his leadership is more listening publicly,
- 42:51Speaker 4: but every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, we have lunch together as
- 42:54Speaker 4: a Republican caucus for an hour and a half, and
- 42:56Speaker 4: that's where the real debate occurs, without cameras on, and
- 43:00Speaker 4: unless somebody's leaking information out of there, and unfortunately some
- 43:03Speaker 4: of my colleagues do that, What's said in there is
- 43:06Speaker 4: supposed to stay in there. So I think that he
- 43:08Speaker 4: and then John Brasso is the whip. I respect the
- 43:12Speaker 4: heck out of these people. I think they did as
- 43:14Speaker 4: much arm twisting as you can in the United States Senate. Look,
- 43:16Speaker 4: these are grown men and women, okay? These are not
- 43:20Speaker 4: some puppets that were sent here. We're not lemmings like
- 43:23Speaker 4: the Democrats. When Chuck Schumer tells his members to jump,
- 43:28Speaker 4: they jump. And that's not who the Republicans are. We
- 43:31Speaker 4: believe in our principles, and we're going to stand up,
- 43:33Speaker 4: and that's why you love us. That's why you love
- 43:35Speaker 4: our party, that we can debate this and we can disagree,
- 43:38Speaker 4: but I still love the fellow— I' ve never been— it' s been a
- 43:41Speaker 4: long time since I've been this part of a close team,
- 43:44Speaker 4: that we are fighting together. So I think the SAVE
- 43:47Speaker 4: Act is a great example. I think we have 50,
- 43:49Speaker 4: maybe 51 votes for Republicans who would vote for the
- 43:53Speaker 4: SAVE Act. But if we were to talk about ending reconciliation,
- 43:57Speaker 4: we lose 10, 20. It's not even close. If it
- 44:00Speaker 4: was two or three people, it would be much easier.
- 44:02Speaker 4: But I think a third of the Republican senators are
- 44:05Speaker 4: against ending the filibuster, and a third are undecided. These
- 44:08Speaker 4: are grown-up people. Yes, sir.
- 44:10Speaker 1: And sorry, just to be clear, I'm not talking about
- 44:12Speaker 1: ending the filibuster in this case. I'm talking about using
- 44:15Speaker 1: the speaking filibuster as the technique to pass this. And
- 44:19Speaker 1: that would require a simple majority as well. It would
- 44:22Speaker 1: just be an exhaustive process. And my question was simply,
- 44:25Speaker 1: is John Barrasso and John Thune. Do they support using
- 44:29Speaker 1: that technique? Did they say that to you and other senators?
- 44:33Speaker 4: I'm just going to say, Vince, that's a fool's errand.
- 44:35Speaker 4: I spent weekends doing AI and doing war models on
- 44:39Speaker 4: how this would work out and we always lose. When
- 44:41Speaker 4: you're in the minority, you can sabotage this. And that
- 44:44Speaker 4: was my point, is that.
- 44:47Speaker 4: The minority can bring up amendments and then Republicans have
- 44:51Speaker 4: to produce a majority to go in there and block
- 44:53Speaker 4: their silly amendments. They would give us amendments on so
- 44:56Speaker 4: many silly things and some of them would pass, right?
- 45:00Speaker 4: Some of their silly amendments, I call them silly, but
- 45:02Speaker 4: they're poison pills and then would kill the bill. They
- 45:05Speaker 4: could ask for a quorum call as well. And we
- 45:07Speaker 4: would have to get up 10 times in the middle
- 45:10Speaker 4: of the night. So we would be anchored here It
- 45:12Speaker 4: would go on for months. Every time they bring up
- 45:15Speaker 4: a new amendment, then each one of them gets two
- 45:17Speaker 4: more speeches as well. I'm sorry that I'm disappointed that
- 45:21Speaker 4: it was presented as an easy task. But I think
- 45:24Speaker 4: there's a 99 percent chance that we lose that at
- 45:28Speaker 4: the end of the game. And that's that's my opinion.
- 45:31Speaker 4: I spent hours on this trying to figure out, you know,
- 45:34Speaker 4: how does it really end up? We end up losing
- 45:36Speaker 4: it 99 times out of 100, if not 100 times
- 45:37Speaker 4: out of 100. OK, and I get.
- 45:42Speaker 1: Believe me, I'm listening to you explain this. I'm thinking
- 45:44Speaker 1: through like there's a million different things that I've seen
- 45:46Speaker 1: on this subject. So I won't I won't engage you
- 45:49Speaker 1: in a never ending back and forth on the specifics.
- 45:52Speaker 1: But I just I just I will say that I'm
- 45:54Speaker 1: concerned about, you know, I'm just concerned about the state
- 45:57Speaker 1: of our country right now. And I think I think
- 45:59Speaker 1: I hope I speak on behalf of you and certainly
- 46:01Speaker 1: for our audience that we just want to see more
- 46:04Speaker 1: forward progress. The president of the United States is. is
- 46:06Speaker 1: calling for anything that can possibly be done right now.
- 46:10Speaker 1: What should the Senate be doing right now that it's
- 46:11Speaker 1: not doing, in your view, Senator Marshall?
- 46:15Speaker 4: Desperation that we're losing our republic. I share that 110%.
- 46:18Speaker 4: And I think it's great that you can challenge me.
- 46:22Speaker 4: And just like you're challenging me, these are the same
- 46:25Speaker 4: type of discussions that we have at lunchtime in the
- 46:28Speaker 4: United States Senate as well. So those same conversations are happening. Look,
- 46:34Speaker 4: I think we are forced to do reconciliation. As soon
- 46:37Speaker 4: as we passed the working family tax cuts, I was
- 46:40Speaker 4: ready to go ahead and work on reconciliation then, that
- 46:43Speaker 4: I've come to the conclusion that Democrats hate Donald Trump
- 46:47Speaker 4: so much, if he brought a cure for cancer to
- 46:49Speaker 4: the Senate floor, they would vote against it. And that's
- 46:53Speaker 4: just the political reality that we live in right now.
- 46:56Speaker 4: And I still think there's some moral issues and value
- 47:00Speaker 4: issues going on back home as well. And people say,
- 47:03Speaker 4: you know, what can you do to help me? Look,
- 47:05Speaker 4: we need people with traditional American values of faith and family, community,
- 47:12Speaker 4: hard work, you know, running for the school board and
- 47:14Speaker 4: all those local offices as well. So I think there's
- 47:17Speaker 4: things that we need to do back home to shore
- 47:19Speaker 4: up our families and our families. But you're absolutely right.
- 47:23Speaker 4: This is a time I've never seen. It probably goes
- 47:26Speaker 4: back to the Civil War when you had two parties
- 47:29Speaker 4: so distantly split. One more thing. about this, but I
- 47:33Speaker 4: think in this day and age, what I see is
- 47:36Speaker 4: the far right and the far left running these political parties.
- 47:39Speaker 4: It's the tail wagging the dog, that this vocal minorities
- 47:43Speaker 4: control the narrative, they control the fundraising, and they control
- 47:47Speaker 4: the news cycle as well. And the legacy media just
- 47:50Speaker 4: beats the hell out of all of us. So if
- 47:52Speaker 4: you're a moderate, and I didn't use the word moderate,
- 47:54Speaker 4: if you're a sensible Democrat and you want to vote
- 47:57Speaker 4: for voter ID or funding ICE, I mean, you will
- 48:00Speaker 4: be torn to pieces And by your own party. And
- 48:04Speaker 4: it is much more difficult than I think folks back
- 48:07Speaker 4: home realize what it's like to get torn up by
- 48:10Speaker 4: your own party.
- 48:11Speaker 1: Yeah. And I know right now on the right, the
- 48:15Speaker 1: left has its own problems with radicalism. On the right,
- 48:17Speaker 1: I think the biggest problem we have right now is
- 48:19Speaker 1: a concern about a disinterested status quo in Washington that
- 48:23Speaker 1: is far too prone to sort of those establishment reflexes.
- 48:26Speaker 1: and not paying close enough attention to where the people are.
- 48:29Speaker 1: And that's the frustration, I think, that spells out. And
- 48:32Speaker 1: the reason why so many senators are getting phone calls
- 48:34Speaker 1: right now is because of that sentiment. Senator Marshall, I'm
- 48:39Speaker 1: appreciative of you coming on, sir. Thank you for joining
- 48:41Speaker 1: us today to talk about this. I hope you do
- 48:42Speaker 1: it again soon.
- 48:43Speaker 4: Yeah, Vince, thank you for the conversation and thanks for
- 48:45Speaker 4: letting me adequately respond. And we're in this together. That's
- 48:48Speaker 4: all I can tell you, our listeners. We're the patriots
- 48:51Speaker 4: of today. We have to save this democracy, this republic.
- 48:55Speaker 4: And I'm just out here battling every day with you.
- 48:57Speaker 4: So thanks so much for your help.
- 48:58Speaker 1: Thank you, Senator. Appreciate you coming on, sir. There he is,
- 49:01Speaker 1: Senator Roger Marshall of Kansas here on the program. You know,
- 49:05Speaker 1: like like I said, you know, I could I could
- 49:07Speaker 1: probably I could spend another hour litigating all of the
- 49:09Speaker 1: specifics about the the speaking filibuster. We watch as Rachel
- 49:14Speaker 1: Bovard and others have talked about the details like filling
- 49:16Speaker 1: the amendment tree and then getting some Republican unity on voting.
- 49:20Speaker 1: no on whatever random poison pill amendments Democrats think they
- 49:24Speaker 1: can offer. But what we're looking for is a fight.
- 49:29Speaker 1: We're looking for a fight. That's what we want, very simply.
- 49:33Speaker 1: We're looking for people who are willing to stand up
- 49:35Speaker 1: for what they believe. In fact, that's the story here
- 49:39Speaker 1: In the NBA, you guys seen the story this week
- 49:43Speaker 1: of this NBA player from the Chicago Bulls. His name
- 49:46Speaker 1: is Jaden Ivey. And he was just fired by the
- 49:52Speaker 1: Bulls because he said he believes in Jesus and he
- 49:56Speaker 1: objects to the NBA promoting Pride Month. That's a reasonable objection.
- 50:03Speaker 1: You can't say that out loud. He said it out
- 50:05Speaker 1: loud and they canned him. Take a look here. Jaden Ivey,
- 50:11Speaker 1: this is cut eight, talking about his faith in Christ.
- 50:15Speaker 1: And this is what got him canned.
- 50:16Speaker 4: Watch.
- 50:17Speaker 6: The world can proclaim LGBTQ. Right? They proclaim Pride Month
- 50:30Speaker 6: and the NBA. They proclaim it. They show it to
- 50:36Speaker 6: the world. They say, come Come join us for pride.
- 50:42Speaker 6: For pride month. To celebrate unrighteousness. They proclaim it. They
- 50:56Speaker 6: proclaim it on the billboards. They proclaim it in the streets. Unrighteousness.
- 51:05Speaker 6: So how is it that that One can't speak righteousness.
- 51:09Speaker 6: How are they to say that, man, this man is crazy?
- 51:16Speaker 6: I'm not the J.I. I used to be. But the
- 51:20Speaker 6: old J.I.
- 51:20Speaker 2: Is dead.
- 51:21Speaker 6: I'm alive in Christ. No matter what the basketball setting is,
- 51:31Speaker 6: I'm born again, the Holy Spirit. And I've been saved
- 51:35Speaker 6: by Jesus Christ. No matter how many DNPs I don't
- 51:41Speaker 6: get to play or no matter how many points I score,
- 51:46Speaker 6: those things are a temporary thing.
- 51:52Speaker 1: Those things are a temporary thing. He's had a massive
- 51:55Speaker 1: breakthrough in his life. You know, if you listen to
- 51:59Speaker 1: him talking in the past about what he was into,
- 52:04Speaker 1: what his life had become. He was like, my whole
- 52:06Speaker 1: life was the NBA. And I had fallen into all
- 52:10Speaker 1: sorts of states of sin, actually. My life was kind
- 52:15Speaker 1: of ruined by it. Josh, do you have this by
- 52:17Speaker 1: any chance, this example of Ivy talking about how his
- 52:19Speaker 1: faith in Jesus saved him? All right, good. Let's play this.
- 52:23Speaker 1: I want people to hear this. He goes, the NBA
- 52:24Speaker 1: was everything to me. And eventually, he wasn't a starter anymore.
- 52:27Speaker 1: And he was starting to feel depressed about this. He
- 52:31Speaker 1: was like, I'm not starting anymore. He's sitting on the bench.
- 52:34Speaker 1: And then he started realizing, wait a second, there are
- 52:36Speaker 1: more important things in life than all of these sort
- 52:39Speaker 1: of shallow, sinful distractions I was engaging in.
- 52:42Speaker 4: Watch.
- 52:43Speaker 6: All I'm preaching is about Jesus Christ and they weighed me, right?
- 52:51Speaker 6: They say I'm crazy, right? I'm psycho. That don't add up, man.
- 52:58Speaker 6: That's not adding up, right? God let these happen. God
- 53:02Speaker 6: let these things happen for a reason. May his will
- 53:04Speaker 6: be done. May his will be done.
- 53:09Speaker 2: Right?
- 53:11Speaker 6: May his will be done. Not my will. My will
- 53:14Speaker 6: is done.
- 53:16Speaker 1: Yeah, that's him reacting to the news that they canned
- 53:19Speaker 1: him yesterday. I think he was boarding a flight and
- 53:22Speaker 1: he was filming a video of that. And he seems...
- 53:27Speaker 1: He seems at peace with it. He seems at peace
- 53:29Speaker 1: with it. He must've read his Bible. He knows that
- 53:32Speaker 1: this is a part of the deal as Christ laid
- 53:35Speaker 1: this out in the Beatitudes. But also here is, again, Josh, again,
- 53:40Speaker 1: this is when him talking about how the NBA was
- 53:42Speaker 1: everything to him. Do you have that clip? You do
- 53:47Speaker 1: have that. Okay, here it is. Here's Jaden Ivey, watch.
- 53:51Speaker 6: The NBA was everything to me. I didn't know God.
- 53:55Speaker 6: I didn't know Jesus when I came to the NBA.
- 54:00Speaker 6: I was a fornicator. I was a pornography addict. And
- 54:06Speaker 6: I used to get drunk. That's all I knew. And
- 54:09Speaker 6: after a win, I felt good. After all those points,
- 54:13Speaker 6: I felt good.
- 54:14Speaker 1: I felt good.
- 54:17Speaker 6: I felt like I had everything set out for me.
- 54:21Speaker 4: Right.
- 54:22Speaker 6: But but as soon as that shut down for me,
- 54:24Speaker 6: as soon as I didn't start, that's that's when that's
- 54:27Speaker 6: when God was humbling me. And he said he sat
- 54:31Speaker 6: me down for a reason.
- 54:35Speaker 1: He sat me down for a reason. Man, listen to
- 54:38Speaker 1: the honesty from that guy. Just he said, what did
- 54:43Speaker 1: he say? He said, when I came to the NBA,
- 54:44Speaker 1: I was a fornicator. I was a pornography addict. I
- 54:48Speaker 1: used to get drunk. That's all I knew. After all
- 54:51Speaker 1: those points, I felt good. I felt like everything was
- 54:54Speaker 1: set out for me. And then he said he found Christ.
- 54:59Speaker 1: He found Christ. Okay, so, I mean, what do you
- 55:00Speaker 1: object to there? What's the objectionable thing that came out
- 55:04Speaker 1: of his mouth? The Chicago Bulls posted a statement to
- 55:10Speaker 1: the internet last night. That said the following, look, this
- 55:14Speaker 1: is it. Just a little graphic of a Bulls logo.
- 55:16Speaker 1: The Chicago Bulls announced today that the team has waived
- 55:18Speaker 1: guard Jaden Ivey due to conduct detrimental to the team.
- 55:24Speaker 1: Conduct detrimental to the team? What did he, did he
- 55:28Speaker 1: smack a woman around? Was he accused of rape? Was
- 55:32Speaker 1: he in a DUI? What is the conduct that's detrimental
- 55:35Speaker 1: to the team? Did he accuse Donald Trump of being Hitler?
- 55:38Speaker 1: Did he say that ICE agents are murderers? Did he
- 55:40Speaker 1: do any of those things? Because last I checked, all
- 55:43Speaker 1: of the things I just mentioned are things that other
- 55:46Speaker 1: NBA players or coaches have done, and they haven't been
- 55:49Speaker 1: canned by their teams for conduct detrimental to the team.
- 55:54Speaker 2: So what is this?
- 55:55Speaker 1: Why an attack in particular on Christianity? Because that's all
- 56:00Speaker 1: he's expressing is Christianity. You know, another former Chicago Bull
- 56:09Speaker 1: is now a head coach in the NBA, Steve Kerr.
- 56:12Speaker 1: Steve Kerr. And just in January, he is an out-of-control
- 56:18Speaker 1: left-wing zealot who uses his time in front of the
- 56:21Speaker 1: microphone to say the most insane and dishonest things imaginable
- 56:27Speaker 1: to advance the power of the Democrat Party. And in January,
- 56:31Speaker 1: he was accusing ICE agents of being murderers in the
- 56:34Speaker 1: United States of America during an NBA press conference. Watch,
- 56:39Speaker 1: here's Steve Kerr. This is him in January.
- 56:41Speaker 7: I'm glad that the Timberwolves recognized her life and the
- 56:48Speaker 7: tragic nature of her death. It's shameful, really, that in
- 56:55Speaker 7: our country we can have law enforcement officers who commit
- 57:00Speaker 7: murder and seemingly get away with it. It's shameful that
- 57:05Speaker 7: the government can come out and lie about what happened
- 57:09Speaker 7: when there's video and Witnesses who have all come out
- 57:13Speaker 7: and disputed what the government is saying. So very demoralizing,
- 57:17Speaker 7: devastating to lose anyone's life, especially in that matter. So
- 57:25Speaker 7: it's terrible, terribly sad for her family and for her
- 57:28Speaker 7: and for that city. And I'm glad the Timberwolves came
- 57:32Speaker 7: out and expressed that sadness.
- 57:36Speaker 1: It's left wing psychobabble, just complete left wing psychobabble. He
- 57:39Speaker 1: has no idea what he's even talking about. He's just
- 57:41Speaker 1: spreading a poisonous lie designed to demonize ICE and demonize
- 57:45Speaker 1: the president of the United States. And he wasn't removed
- 57:49Speaker 1: for conduct. What is the stupid phrase that they're using?
- 57:55Speaker 1: Conduct that's detrimental to the team. They didn't get rid
- 57:59Speaker 1: of him for conduct detrimental to the team. No, they
- 58:02Speaker 1: kept them around. This is madness. And again, it goes precisely...
- 58:09Speaker 1: to the words of Jesus Christ and the Sermon on
- 58:11Speaker 1: the Mount and the Beatitudes. And today I want to
- 58:15Speaker 1: end with this. This comes to us from, well, from scripture,
- 58:19Speaker 1: but today it's been shared with us by the running
- 58:22Speaker 1: back for the New England Patriots. God bless him for this.
- 58:27Speaker 1: The media is all over him right now for saying this.
- 58:29Speaker 1: Travion Henderson posting this to X Overnight. And he posted
- 58:35Speaker 1: a lot of scripture, but this is the big one.
- 58:37Speaker 1: Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for
- 58:41Speaker 1: theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Good for him. Good
- 58:47Speaker 1: for him. Standing up for a fellow Christian, standing up
- 58:50Speaker 1: for the truth, standing up for decency in the face
- 58:52Speaker 1: of indecency. What a story. What a story. Keep the faith,
- 58:58Speaker 1: stay in the fight, no matter the cost. Thank you,

- 59:47Speaker 3: effect in this midterm. You've heard it yourself. Act like
- 59:51Speaker 3: I'm on the ballot. Why is he saying that? You
- 59:53Speaker 3: think he doesn't know what he's doing? That is the
- 59:56Speaker 3: X factor. Folks, elections are a math issue. That is it.
- 1:00:01Speaker 3: This is not a football game. If you vote, we
- 1:00:04Speaker 3: will win. It is not complicated.
