Transcript
- 0:12Speaker 1: Hey, everybody, Welcome to Pink Shade. It's a Wednesday, Plattville Wednesday.
- 0:17Speaker 1: It's waspy Wednesday, all the things. I'm here with my
- 0:23Speaker 1: girl Kimberly to chat about. Welcome to Platfel season eight.
- 0:28Speaker 1: This is episode seven. A bone to pick with you? Now?
- 0:32Speaker 1: We started the season with some like.
- 0:34Speaker 2: Kat me there, and I felt like you had a
- 0:37Speaker 2: bone to pick with me.
- 0:38Speaker 1: Don't never.
- 0:39Speaker 2: I was never thinking what did I say about her
- 0:42Speaker 2: on my podcast?
- 0:43Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 0:44Speaker 1: Not never. Usually once a week I do have a bone.
- 0:47Speaker 3: I know.
- 0:48Speaker 1: Today is Wednesday when a date with dateline will come
- 0:51Speaker 1: out and I will listen to see. Sometimes they mentioned
- 0:53Speaker 1: me nicely and I get very excited in this. Sometimes
- 0:56Speaker 1: not so nicely. Just kim Cael. When we don't mention you,
- 1:01Speaker 1: it's just like a just an app. Sad you feel sad.
- 1:05Speaker 1: I feel sad. So I want to be mentioned at least.
- 1:08Speaker 2: I'm going to start mentioning the podcast every single episode.
- 1:11Speaker 1: Okay, good, good, good good? Yeah, because you guys, like
- 1:16Speaker 1: next Thursday, we're going to do a Pink Shade Live
- 1:20Speaker 1: with Kimberly and Kisha that is for prime members, and
- 1:25Speaker 1: that next Thursday, Wow is it two thursdays from now.
- 1:29Speaker 2: I don't know. I'm I'm available. It's the last Thursday.
- 1:32Speaker 2: I am acting busy.
- 1:34Speaker 1: It's the last Thursday of the month. And oh okay, yeah,
- 1:38Speaker 1: And so that's what we're going to be doing. And
- 1:41Speaker 1: we're going to be doing some new things here. And
- 1:43Speaker 1: we also are going to be having our bunkie meet
- 1:46Speaker 1: up along with Amy Archer and her back door friends
- 1:49Speaker 1: that will be in New York City October tenth. We're
- 1:52Speaker 1: just doing things. We're doing things. If you don't have
- 1:54Speaker 1: any information about the October tenth meetup, don't worry. We
- 1:57Speaker 1: don't have any information either. We just know that it's
- 2:00Speaker 1: the date. And we are working very very hard on
- 2:02Speaker 1: the venue. If you're a New York person and you go, hey,
- 2:06Speaker 1: I've got a perfect venue that's inexpensive, hit me up,
- 2:10Speaker 1: because we are places and we are not finding any
- 2:13Speaker 1: that are inexpensive.
- 2:15Speaker 2: It's been rough that word exists in New York.
- 2:17Speaker 1: I know, I know. And we keep trying to say, like,
- 2:21Speaker 1: the bunkies are going to turn out for this, they'll
- 2:23Speaker 1: tag you, they'll hashtag you, they'll do all the things.
- 2:26Speaker 1: Please just give us a deal, and people are like,
- 2:30Speaker 1: we don't know you. So anyway, we're working on that. Guys.
- 2:35Speaker 1: It will be October tenth. That is the date. It's
- 2:38Speaker 1: just a matter of the place at this point. Now,
- 2:41Speaker 1: let me put my phone on do nuts serve? Because
- 2:44Speaker 1: I think the guy out there mowing the grass is
- 2:45Speaker 1: trying to text me. Okay, too bad, too bad. Welcome
- 2:50Speaker 1: to Platfill, Season eight, episode seven, A bone to pick
- 2:53Speaker 1: with you hold my hands here so you won't think
- 2:56Speaker 1: I'm pointing at you. We open at the plaths. Okay,
- 3:01Speaker 1: so we're gonna do say that who said that? I
- 3:07Speaker 1: don't know who would have said it.
- 3:09Speaker 2: I mean they all kind of have bums to pick
- 3:11Speaker 2: with each other.
- 3:12Speaker 1: Right as we go, maybe it'll like dawn on us
- 3:16Speaker 1: that somebody said it. But I yeah, So we open
- 3:20Speaker 1: up the plaths. We're gonna do like we do. You know,
- 3:23Speaker 1: Montana will be separate from this. We're not going to
- 3:26Speaker 1: go back and forth. It's too confusing. So we opened
- 3:29Speaker 1: up the plaths home and Isaac could say, me and
- 3:33Speaker 1: Kaylin are going to Montana together, and he's very happy
- 3:38Speaker 1: because things are going so much better since the breakup.
- 3:41Speaker 1: Mm hmm okay, and the're talking head. Kaylin says things
- 3:44Speaker 1: are so much better with Isaac, and he's doing things
- 3:47Speaker 1: every single day to prove that he loves me, And
- 3:50Speaker 1: sometimes I think it takes a little break to really heal.
- 3:54Speaker 1: And uh, I don't have a problem with Tiguan, but
- 4:00Speaker 1: there were a few things that went on privately that
- 4:03Speaker 1: I don't agree with.
- 4:06Speaker 2: You gotta tell us what they are. You can't just
- 4:08Speaker 2: say that and then just leave.
- 4:10Speaker 1: Us hanging right, So I do think. I'm thinking you
- 4:15Speaker 1: witnessed Teagan murdering a homeless man and Wow leaving the
- 4:22Speaker 1: scene of a crime. Yeah, yeah, I don't know what
- 4:27Speaker 1: Teagan did that she knows of that happened privately. I
- 4:32Speaker 1: don't know, so she says, but you should be.
- 4:36Speaker 2: On her side because we all saw what Ethan did publicly.
- 4:41Speaker 1: I'm on Tagan's side, I'm so and I'm not anti Kylin.
- 4:45Speaker 1: I just think that I think Kaylen doesn't have the
- 4:47Speaker 1: whole story.
- 4:49Speaker 2: But she was there for Ethan's behavior, and that and
- 4:52Speaker 2: a reason alone, the squealing off with the tires, the
- 4:57Speaker 2: lighting of the fire, that is and alone. To just
- 5:01Speaker 2: be on tea inside or be on neither's side.
- 5:07Speaker 1: Sorry, there is something that happened that we don't that
- 5:11Speaker 1: We don't know because it's privately and in Caitlin's eyes,
- 5:15Speaker 1: Teagan was in the wrong. But I don't think Teagan
- 5:18Speaker 1: can ever be in the wrong because Ethan is verbally
- 5:23Speaker 1: abusive and mentally abusive, and that he one hundred percent
- 5:27Speaker 1: just stops talking as if he's become mute. Yeah when
- 5:30Speaker 1: when cornered.
- 5:31Speaker 2: Yeah, and so he a school shooter if he had gone.
- 5:34Speaker 1: Just let's remember that we're not saying that Keisha said
- 5:41Speaker 1: it on Prime. This is the free feed. Let's don't
- 5:46Speaker 1: say those things. We don't want to get ganned used. Yes, yes,
- 5:50Speaker 1: we do so many episodes. So something happened.
- 5:54Speaker 2: We just talk about how they Someone has drawn mister
- 5:57Speaker 2: Peanut on the fridge and I kept looking at it.
- 6:01Speaker 1: I paused to see what that list was on the right,
- 6:03Speaker 1: to see if it was like a list of but
- 6:05Speaker 1: it was just scripture. It was just scripture.
- 6:07Speaker 2: It was scripture. Yeah, next to that secular sinning. Yeah, man,
- 6:13Speaker 2: mister Peanut with his top hat strutting around town. He
- 6:16Speaker 2: looks like a pimp.
- 6:17Speaker 1: No no pants, not wear any pants, dope, not.
- 6:20Speaker 2: Wearing pants, no neck and Winny the pooing it.
- 6:25Speaker 1: That is always so weird. About Winny the Pooh, so
- 6:28Speaker 1: things went on privately she doesn't agree with. And she
- 6:31Speaker 1: says Teagan is sweet and lovey w to Ethan one
- 6:34Speaker 1: minute and then the next minute is sideways, and you
- 6:37Speaker 1: can't play with someone's emotions like that. And I understand
- 6:41Speaker 1: Ethan did some things he's not proud of and he's
- 6:44Speaker 1: taken full accountability, but then you can't continue to play
- 6:47Speaker 1: with somebody. So she's trying to say that Teagan is
- 6:50Speaker 1: playing with Ethan's feelings. But again, we're going to find
- 6:54Speaker 1: out that Caitlin doesn't have the whole story.
- 6:58Speaker 2: She doesn't. And also Teagan given him the cold shoulder
- 7:02Speaker 2: for months month and only recently agreed to go on
- 7:06Speaker 2: this trip because she was stalked into it. She was
- 7:10Speaker 2: pressured to go on this trip, and maybe she wants
- 7:13Speaker 2: to be on TV whatever. But I'm not a huge
- 7:17Speaker 2: Teagan fan, but like, I'm way more on her side.
- 7:20Speaker 2: And I don't see this back and forth that Caylin
- 7:23Speaker 2: is talking about.
- 7:24Speaker 1: I don't either.
- 7:25Speaker 2: He's gone back and forth.
- 7:27Speaker 1: This is when I hate that I don't know what's
- 7:29Speaker 1: going to happen. Like this is when I'm like, oh,
- 7:31Speaker 1: I wish I knew what was going to happen here? Yeah,
- 7:34Speaker 1: so it's good TV guys. So and the talking d
- 7:37Speaker 1: Isaac says, yes, Hegan's coming to Montana, and that was
- 7:42Speaker 1: a little shock. I don't know if she wants to
- 7:45Speaker 1: get back with him. I guess we'll see how she
- 7:47Speaker 1: treats him in Montana. Okay, And again we're so mad
- 7:51Speaker 1: that this trip is now turned into Melrose Place.
- 7:54Speaker 2: They just wanted to go and have fun. Sorry, current
- 7:57Speaker 2: references only totally. It's Sam and I will will pay.
- 8:02Speaker 2: Sectual tension is building up, but it's like, that's horrible.
- 8:08Speaker 2: That's I'll go more, a little more current. Like you
- 8:11Speaker 2: go on a group trip with all your friends and
- 8:12Speaker 2: you want to have fun, and Ross and Rachel are
- 8:15Speaker 2: on a braak and they hate each other. It ruins
- 8:18Speaker 2: the vibe for everybody.
- 8:19Speaker 1: And again, just like history repeats itself. This week on Prime,
- 8:24Speaker 1: when I'm covering the rewatch with Keisha, the exact same
- 8:28Speaker 1: story is happening. Ethan and Olivia and Micah and Mariah
- 8:32Speaker 1: go camping in Maine, and because Ethan is acting like
- 8:35Speaker 1: such a baby, everybody's uncomfortable. And Ethan and Olivia bicker,
- 8:39Speaker 1: so everybody's uncomfortable, and that is the exact same situation
- 8:43Speaker 1: that's happening here.
- 8:45Speaker 2: I understand that he's your brother, but at some point
- 8:47Speaker 2: you have to say, does this person bring me more
- 8:50Speaker 2: joy in my life or more stress in my life?
- 8:53Speaker 2: And if it's stress, at some point cut him off.
- 8:57Speaker 1: Agree. All right, Now we're gonna sit at the table.
- 9:02Speaker 1: We've got Amber and her friend Berlin. I think the
- 9:07Speaker 1: dad's name is Bert the I think the dad's name
- 9:12Speaker 1: is Bert and the mom's name was Lynn, so they
- 9:14Speaker 1: came Berlin. You're thinking of Berlin writing on the Metro.
- 9:18Speaker 2: Am, I is that the song writing on the Metro? Yes,
- 9:24Speaker 2: I didn't know that that's what they were saying. I
- 9:27Speaker 2: think I thought they were saying something else. Oh no,
- 9:29Speaker 2: I was thinking of take My Breath, Take My Breath Away.
- 9:33Speaker 1: Those are their two songs. I loved Berlin.
- 9:36Speaker 2: It's just weird to see someone with brown hair in
- 9:39Speaker 2: this house.
- 9:40Speaker 1: It's odd, and it's odd that her name is Berlin
- 9:43Speaker 1: with a y. But again, I'm going to guess her
- 9:45Speaker 1: dad is Bert and her mama's Lynn, and they came
- 9:47Speaker 1: up with Berlin.
- 9:48Speaker 2: So this girl is never finding a key chain with
- 9:51Speaker 2: her name on it.
- 9:52Speaker 1: No, God bless, I feel that pain.
- 9:55Speaker 2: So should have gotten you a custom one from Zazzle.
- 10:01Speaker 1: I don't need one. Amber and her friend Berlin are
- 10:04Speaker 1: making dinner for Barry because you know, that's what the
- 10:06Speaker 1: women should do, they should cook for dad. She met
- 10:09Speaker 1: Berlin at church. She thinks she's fun. I'm talking ahead,
- 10:12Speaker 1: Berlin says, Amber is super fun. Look at these two
- 10:15Speaker 1: fun gals, just homeschool and then going to church.
- 10:18Speaker 2: So you know about is it the quiver full like
- 10:21Speaker 2: whatever it's called, not the quiverful, the what the what's
- 10:26Speaker 2: the word?
- 10:26Speaker 1: The act ib IBLP?
- 10:29Speaker 2: I bes it is that part? Is that what they're
- 10:33Speaker 2: talking about? Or is it a different church that they
- 10:36Speaker 2: go to?
- 10:36Speaker 1: Now, Yeah, if you go and you watch that girl
- 10:41Speaker 1: that's Kristin Uber that looks like Kristin's Uber. She talks
- 10:44Speaker 1: about the IBLP and the kro and Thomasville and all that,
- 10:48Speaker 1: and she says, what you have is a home church
- 10:51Speaker 1: and you go to this person's home and that person
- 10:54Speaker 1: is sort of your leader. And she spent a lot
- 10:56Speaker 1: of time at the home church and they have like
- 10:58Speaker 1: seventeen kids, not the duck er. But she's like, you
- 11:01Speaker 1: don't know about all these people becausey're not on TV.
- 11:04Speaker 1: But it's the exact same situation. And she had seen
- 11:07Speaker 1: the plaths at that home church.
- 11:09Speaker 2: Gotcha.
- 11:10Speaker 1: Yeah, so I'm assuming that's where Berlin goes as well. So,
- 11:15Speaker 1: Barry says, Amber is showing herself to be a I'm
- 11:20Speaker 1: pulling up a pulling something up here on the side.
- 11:22Speaker 1: Sorry sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry? Where is it there? It is?
- 11:26Speaker 2: Okay?
- 11:27Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, I thought one of my sound effects
- 11:29Speaker 1: are gone off my board and I was gonna panic.
- 11:31Speaker 1: It didn't okay, Barry says, Amber is showing herself to
- 11:35Speaker 1: be a responsible young lady. Amber is sixteen. Everybody one
- 11:41Speaker 1: six around the time Marie got kicked out. Amber is
- 11:45Speaker 1: showing yourself to be a responsible young lady, and the
- 11:48Speaker 1: relationship is changing. It's more peer to peer than father
- 11:53Speaker 1: and a daughter. I hated that what no Barry my
- 11:59Speaker 1: lady would for you is disappearing. That was so weird.
- 12:04Speaker 1: That's so weird.
- 12:05Speaker 2: And it's like when Lydia was comforting you after your divorce,
- 12:09Speaker 2: get a friend, Barry hang out with Zach or Taylor.
- 12:13Speaker 1: Lydia was also around sixteen or seventeen.
- 12:16Speaker 2: I hate that, and also that really made me sad.
- 12:19Speaker 2: When you said this is around the time that Mariah
- 12:21Speaker 2: was kicked out. Because Amber looks like a child and.
- 12:25Speaker 1: She's sixteen, she has a child.
- 12:27Speaker 2: It puts it in perspective.
- 12:29Speaker 1: Yeah, it's terrible. And so he says, you know now
- 12:32Speaker 1: we're more peer to peer than father to daughter.
- 12:35Speaker 2: No, No, I mean I hope you mean that you
- 12:39Speaker 2: can just joke around more with her. And she's kind
- 12:41Speaker 2: of becoming autonomous. And oh, but I don't know if
- 12:48Speaker 2: that's what he means.
- 12:49Speaker 1: So Barry says, inappropriately to Amber's sixteen year old friend Berlin,
- 12:53Speaker 1: so did Amber tell you I'm Dayton?
- 12:57Speaker 2: And Amber says, she looks like, is that what this is?
- 13:01Speaker 2: Are we on a date?
- 13:04Speaker 1: Amber says, yeah, my dad has recently started talking to ladies.
- 13:09Speaker 1: He's in the dating pool and that's exciting. I guess.
- 13:14Speaker 1: I don't know. I'm hoping he'll be able to tell
- 13:16Speaker 1: if somebody's crazy. So then he says to Berlin around
- 13:22Speaker 1: kro I'm known as Plath Daddy.
- 13:26Speaker 2: Stop had got and it's not true. It is in
- 13:29Speaker 2: your CrossFit class only he says.
- 13:33Speaker 1: The Plath Daddy. And he says, I got a new nickname.
- 13:38Speaker 1: Life's an adventure and they're like, okay, yeah, how's the chicken.
- 13:44Speaker 1: So then Amber and Barry tell Berlin about their bigfoot
- 13:49Speaker 1: hunting adventure and Barry says, yeah, you know, people have
- 13:54Speaker 1: captured the bigfoot talking. And she goes, who are they
- 13:59Speaker 1: talking to? And he goes to each other the bigfoot
- 14:01Speaker 1: They talk to each other, obviously.
- 14:04Speaker 2: Berlin things they're talking to.
- 14:06Speaker 1: She's like mid Fork, going okay, and he goes, but
- 14:10Speaker 1: they talk in a language we can't understand, and she
- 14:14Speaker 1: says mm hmm. And he says. The theory is, Berlin,
- 14:18Speaker 1: there's a whole tribe of them, a whole race, all
- 14:21Speaker 1: race of bigfoots. And Berlin goes and they're all in hiding,
- 14:25Speaker 1: all of them and yeah, he says, yeah, yeah, they're
- 14:29Speaker 1: all in hiding. You keep catch them hardly. And he says,
- 14:32Speaker 1: you know, they have paranormal abilities and the use of
- 14:36Speaker 1: these portals. They've captured these things in film where people
- 14:40Speaker 1: see him in person, they just dematerialize, they disappear like
- 14:44Speaker 1: they're a portal. I'd like to see those videos. I'd
- 14:48Speaker 1: like to see them disappear. And he looks at Berlin
- 14:50Speaker 1: and goes, it's freaky, isn't it.
- 14:52Speaker 2: I actually did one of one of our things that
- 14:54Speaker 2: we did on Bigfoot for Patreon.
- 14:58Speaker 3: Uh.
- 14:58Speaker 2: I think one of them talk about portals. I think
- 15:01Speaker 2: that or they think they're here from another dimension. That's
- 15:05Speaker 2: one of the theories why they come and go so strangely,
- 15:09Speaker 2: because they're actually from another time or dimension, a plane
- 15:16Speaker 2: of existence. Poor Berlin needs to go back to because
- 15:20Speaker 2: Fairy is an alien.
- 15:22Speaker 1: And Berlin goes, he kind of lost me at portal. Yeah,
- 15:28Speaker 1: and Barry goes, you know, people are really warming up
- 15:31Speaker 1: to the idea that there's more out there in creation
- 15:35Speaker 1: that meets the eye. Ah. And now if you talk
- 15:38Speaker 1: about it, people don't say you're going to the psychboard.
- 15:41Speaker 1: And Amber goes, We're going to send you to the
- 15:42Speaker 1: psych board anyway, Dad, Like, good God, quit talking to
- 15:46Speaker 1: my friend with the wine her name, Okay.
- 15:48Speaker 2: I love Amber and Berlin giving each other teenager eyes
- 15:53Speaker 2: the whole time, Like that's cute that they're normal teenagers
- 15:57Speaker 2: in that way that they're rolling their eyes. That their
- 15:59Speaker 2: dad right in front of him. If this is him
- 16:03Speaker 2: practicing his banter for his dates, we have some great
- 16:08Speaker 2: episodes coming up and I can't wait. He says he's
- 16:12Speaker 2: been chatting with ladies. I want to see the dates.
- 16:16Speaker 2: I want to see him bring up Bigfoot on the dates.
- 16:18Speaker 2: He is adding the most to every episode. All Barry
- 16:22Speaker 2: does is win, win, win. This season would be so
- 16:26Speaker 2: boring without him.
- 16:28Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, because the whole Barry and Kin thing is fascinating.
- 16:32Speaker 2: That. Yeah I am. I like the that we should
- 16:40Speaker 2: drink water too.
- 16:42Speaker 3: You know.
- 16:44Speaker 1: The Sixers are killing it the season. Yeah, that's great basketball. Yeah. Okay,
- 16:50Speaker 1: we're headed over to Montana Kimberly. Here we go. So
- 16:53Speaker 1: Isaac says last night that they got in late, but
- 16:57Speaker 1: today they're going to explore. They haven't seen Ethan and
- 17:02Speaker 1: Teagan yet. So kaylin Uh and Mariah, Oh gosh, hold on,
- 17:08Speaker 1: I forgot to put my thing. I do not disturb guys.
- 17:10Speaker 1: I am a hot mess today. Things are popping up
- 17:12Speaker 1: on my screen. Okay, do not disturb it.
- 17:14Speaker 2: And I look so tired.
- 17:15Speaker 1: I'm realizing I'm just looking at myself having all my makeup.
- 17:19Speaker 2: All I looked at myself.
- 17:21Speaker 1: I have on all the makeup that I own because
- 17:22Speaker 1: I'm interviewing Ross Matthews today and I wanted.
- 17:24Speaker 2: To look at I'm putting a filter on right now.
- 17:26Speaker 2: Keep talking, Okay. So I noticed I normally look like this,
- 17:31Speaker 2: so this is my face.
- 17:33Speaker 1: So Kaylin and Mariah are hanging out and doing makeup
- 17:35Speaker 1: or whatever. Are we supposed to believe that Caylen stayed
- 17:38Speaker 1: in that room with Mariah? Is that what they're trying
- 17:41Speaker 1: to lead us to believe? By I walking into Kaylin
- 17:45Speaker 1: and Mariah together, I thought it was oh, because they're
- 17:50Speaker 1: not supposed to sleep together, Kaylen, and because he's twenty
- 17:54Speaker 1: and she's twenty two, So maybe they wouldn't want to
- 17:57Speaker 1: have present that on camera, right.
- 17:59Speaker 2: Because the christian ness, right? Yeah? Right?
- 18:03Speaker 1: So yeah, that could they could be doing a fake out, Yeah,
- 18:07Speaker 1: because Isaac walks in like, hey, ladies, good morning, as
- 18:10Speaker 1: if he I would never want to get ready with Mariah.
- 18:13Speaker 2: She hogs the mirror. She's a mirror hog.
- 18:15Speaker 1: She's a mirror hog, and she's got her feet in
- 18:18Speaker 1: the sink where you're okay. So Kaylin and Mariah are
- 18:25Speaker 1: chatting about like, oh, you know, what's going on with
- 18:27Speaker 1: Ethan and Teagan or just whatever, gossiping and the talking head.
- 18:31Speaker 1: Kaylin says, yeah, Tagan and I were closed in the beginning,
- 18:35Speaker 1: but I had to take a step back because whenever
- 18:38Speaker 1: something would happen. Teagan would call me and that's fine,
- 18:41Speaker 1: and I'm happy to be there somebody. But then Ethan
- 18:43Speaker 1: would call me too, and I don't want to be
- 18:46Speaker 1: in the middle of things. Nobody wants to be in
- 18:48Speaker 1: the middle of things, so I had to take a
- 18:49Speaker 1: step back, which I understand.
- 18:52Speaker 2: Ethan would talk to Caylin about things like sounds would
- 18:56Speaker 2: come out of his mouth, sounds like and he would
- 19:00Speaker 2: ferbelized thing.
- 19:01Speaker 1: Sounds like it. Yeah. So over at the main main lodge,
- 19:06Speaker 1: we see Ethan kind of like half asleep on the
- 19:09Speaker 1: couch there, and we see and we see a sign
- 19:11Speaker 1: that says we do not have Wi Fi talk to
- 19:14Speaker 1: each other. Pretend it's nineteen ninety five.
- 19:17Speaker 2: Yeah. He doesn't know how to do that though, So
- 19:21Speaker 2: he's like a scare creep.
- 19:22Speaker 1: He's got his eyes closed and he can walks in
- 19:24Speaker 1: and goes, oh, you look tired. You tired, and he says, yeah,
- 19:27Speaker 1: you know, we had a late night. And they make
- 19:29Speaker 1: small talk about the weather and it raining, and then
- 19:32Speaker 1: he goes, they've got movies here. You want to watch
- 19:34Speaker 1: a movie later. So this is the kind of place
- 19:36Speaker 1: where they have like DVRs in your room and you're
- 19:38Speaker 1: expected to come to the lodge and play board games
- 19:40Speaker 1: and then like, maybe watch a movie at night. It's
- 19:42Speaker 1: all very low tech, and she goes, I mean maybe,
- 19:48Speaker 1: and he goes, you want to go look at the
- 19:49Speaker 1: movies and she goes, okay. So they go over to
- 19:52Speaker 1: and they're looking at the DVDs and in the talking head,
- 19:55Speaker 1: teaking goes, the only way to watch a movie is
- 19:58Speaker 1: to sit on the bed, and I don't want Ethan
- 20:00Speaker 1: in my bed, okay, And production says.
- 20:04Speaker 2: That's fair, that's fair, that's a just boundary. But you
- 20:09Speaker 2: could all watch a movie together. Everybody could get together,
- 20:12Speaker 2: everybody could go in somebody's room and watch a movie.
- 20:16Speaker 1: And production says, well, you used to say Ethan was
- 20:19Speaker 1: the one, and now you don't even want to be
- 20:22Speaker 1: alone with him to watch a movie. And we do
- 20:24Speaker 1: a lot of clips of her talking about how great
- 20:25Speaker 1: he is now he hands to medias and everything. And
- 20:28Speaker 1: then she said was there The production says, was there
- 20:31Speaker 1: some kind of inciting incident that led you here? And
- 20:35Speaker 1: she says yes, She says the last straw and she
- 20:38Speaker 1: said this last episode, the last straw was when she
- 20:40Speaker 1: went to celebrate his birthday with him. She coordinated. She
- 20:43Speaker 1: coordinated being there as a surprise with his grandparents, and
- 20:47Speaker 1: she did the five hour drive there to surprise him. Okay, now, guys,
- 20:52Speaker 1: we're going to go into what we're gonna call platfilm
- 20:55Speaker 1: Masterpiece Theater, Plat Film Theater, Plath Playhouse, m Plath Playhouse.
- 21:04Speaker 1: I landed on love that. Okay. So I'm gonna be
- 21:08Speaker 1: Ethan and you're gonna be Teagan. Yeah.
- 21:11Speaker 2: And I don't know how Teacan talks, so I might
- 21:15Speaker 2: just do a Midwest accent.
- 21:17Speaker 1: But it's very flat affects. She doesn't. Yes, yeah, flast,
- 21:20Speaker 1: very flat. Okay, here comes Ethan. Okay. Ethan says, the
- 21:26Speaker 1: ice was already thin because we were months into me
- 21:31Speaker 1: saying that I would move, but I hadn't moved yet.
- 21:36Speaker 2: At first, he seemed fine and happy, but then he
- 21:40Speaker 2: disappeared for a bit, which is what he does. I
- 21:44Speaker 2: went to find him and he was working on one
- 21:47Speaker 2: of his cars. Sound familiar to everyone who watched all
- 21:51Speaker 2: the seasons with Olivia, and he was acting weird.
- 21:59Speaker 1: Yeah. I just started shutting down and not saying anything,
- 22:03Speaker 1: and I just wanted to work on my car. God,
- 22:06Speaker 1: I'm such an idiot.
- 22:08Speaker 2: And I kept asking what's up and what's wrong, and
- 22:12Speaker 2: he was just not answering me and shutting me out.
- 22:18Speaker 1: You know, she was getting frustrated that I just was
- 22:20Speaker 1: not communicating with.
- 22:21Speaker 2: Her, and maybe I was asking too many times. He
- 22:25Speaker 2: said nothing was wrong, but his words and actions were
- 22:29Speaker 2: not matching.
- 22:31Speaker 1: She kept pressing me, like talk to me, talk to me,
- 22:33Speaker 1: talk to me, and looking at her. It was like
- 22:36Speaker 1: I was looking at my ex. She used to do that.
- 22:39Speaker 1: So finally I put my tools down, wasped my hands,
- 22:43Speaker 1: and got into my seventy six New Yorker and I left.
- 22:48Speaker 2: I'm glad that he specified what car he too me
- 22:51Speaker 2: too driving. He just peeled out of there, much like
- 22:54Speaker 2: he did at the rehearsal for Lydia's wedding, shut off
- 22:59Speaker 2: his phone, and left me at his grandparents' farm, much
- 23:04Speaker 2: like Emma was abandoned in the desert on ninety day fiance.
- 23:08Speaker 1: Right right, You know, this is such an embarrassing thing,
- 23:13Speaker 1: like I look at it, back at it, and it
- 23:15Speaker 1: haunts me to this day. I can see Teagan just
- 23:18Speaker 1: standing there, perfectly beautiful, standing there crying with her head
- 23:23Speaker 1: with her hand over her mouth. As I peeled down
- 23:26Speaker 1: the road. It was horrible.
- 23:29Speaker 2: We broke up that day on the phone as soon
- 23:32Speaker 2: as he turned his phone on.
- 23:35Speaker 1: After that, it was sort of like everything ended for
- 23:38Speaker 1: me and I just came back to Georgia.
- 23:41Speaker 2: He finally came to me with a truth that I
- 23:44Speaker 2: could tell he'd been holding on to, which is he
- 23:47Speaker 2: wanted to watch all his younger siblings grow up in Georgia.
- 23:52Speaker 2: Mercy at that time was twelve, so that would mean
- 23:56Speaker 2: six years.
- 24:00Speaker 1: I said it in passing and not really considering everything,
- 24:03Speaker 1: like do I really want that? And so then we
- 24:05Speaker 1: didn't talk for a while. And this time around, I
- 24:08Speaker 1: hope I can be who she really needs me to
- 24:10Speaker 1: be and love her in the way she deserves to
- 24:12Speaker 1: be loved. But it's possible it's too little, too late.
- 24:15Speaker 1: But I'll never know unless a try, No wonder. He
- 24:21Speaker 1: did this exact same thing to Olivia, shut off his
- 24:23Speaker 1: phone and leave for a couple of days. Many times,
- 24:26Speaker 1: many times that is his escape. He's like, I don't
- 24:29Speaker 1: like what you're saying, wiping my hands, quit speaking as
- 24:33Speaker 1: if you're me or a drive away. You cannot have
- 24:36Speaker 1: a relationship with a person like that. Nobody, nobody can.
- 24:40Speaker 2: And sometimes he doesn't even leave he just does the
- 24:43Speaker 2: shutdown and then sits there staring and ruins everyone's time
- 24:47Speaker 2: by sitting there and staring at you creepily and not speaking. Yes, yes,
- 24:52Speaker 2: he needs Like I feel like if he went to
- 24:54Speaker 2: a therapist or a psychiatrist as a child, they would
- 24:57Speaker 2: have given him like a ventriloquist dummy. He's not comfortable speaking,
- 25:01Speaker 2: but maybe he could speak through the dummy and he'd
- 25:03Speaker 2: be like, I'm just feeling like I'm all in my head, Teagan,
- 25:08Speaker 2: and like it would be creepy dolls talking him And
- 25:13Speaker 2: I think Zach is gay and it's still really bothering me.
- 25:19Speaker 1: And the talking head. Teacan says, I decided to come
- 25:22Speaker 1: to Montana to spend time together with him as friends
- 25:26Speaker 1: because we were no contact for a while, and when
- 25:28Speaker 1: you break up you lose that romantic side and the
- 25:31Speaker 1: friendship too, So I'm just focusing on rebuilding that friendship
- 25:35Speaker 1: part and maybe that's where it ends. And I do
- 25:37Speaker 1: have love for the family, and I hope they have
- 25:39Speaker 1: love for me. But Ethan doesn't communicate well, so I
- 25:43Speaker 1: don't know what they know and what they don't know, well,
- 25:45Speaker 1: they sure shit do not know this. They do not
- 25:48Speaker 1: know this. They don't know that he did this, and
- 25:50Speaker 1: that's why they started talking, right, And they do know
- 25:54Speaker 1: the shutting down behavior because he does it to everybody.
- 25:57Speaker 3: Right.
- 25:59Speaker 2: My bigger question is, so why do you want to
- 26:01Speaker 2: be friends with him? Why would you even want to
- 26:03Speaker 2: be friends with it? He's not fun, he's not interesting.
- 26:07Speaker 2: He doesn't ask you about yourself or your life is
- 26:11Speaker 2: He's weird and creepy and boring, and that's boring is
- 26:15Speaker 2: the biggest sin here. And he is not nice to people,
- 26:20Speaker 2: and it has an anger problem. Why would you even
- 26:22Speaker 2: want to be friends tea? Can you have your own
- 26:24Speaker 2: life up in Wisconsin Milwaukee wherever she lives.
- 26:29Speaker 1: It's Wisconsin, Wisconsin somewhere. I don't I don't know. I
- 26:35Speaker 1: think after this situation where he drove off and left
- 26:38Speaker 1: her and then shut off his phone, I think that
- 26:40Speaker 1: and then he just went back to Georgia. He says
- 26:42Speaker 1: that it ended for me then and I went back
- 26:43Speaker 1: to Georgia. So they've had they have had no contact
- 26:45Speaker 1: for a while, and then obviously they had some contact.
- 26:49Speaker 1: If I was her one percent, the it has overcome
- 26:53Speaker 1: me and I'm never getting rid of it. You're you're
- 26:57Speaker 1: You're not a good partner, and you never will be.
- 27:01Speaker 1: It doesn't prove anything. Him moving there proves nothing.
- 27:05Speaker 2: No, no, it doesn't, and he still hasn't done it.
- 27:07Speaker 2: And no, later he says answers his pants are too tight.
- 27:12Speaker 2: Well that's true, and that was true. And season three
- 27:15Speaker 2: that we're finishing up as well. So Ethan and he
- 27:19Speaker 2: can play tic tac toe and the others. He's like, wow,
- 27:22Speaker 2: you're gonna beat me, you know. He's like letting her win.
- 27:25Speaker 2: His stick tecto is completely an easy game for everybody
- 27:29Speaker 2: to win.
- 27:30Speaker 1: So the others, no, you're bad at it. Sorry to
- 27:36Speaker 1: hear that. So the others arrived to the lodge. Right,
- 27:40Speaker 1: we've got Isaac, Caylin, Mariah. That's it, right, just those three.
- 27:45Speaker 1: So they all hug. They say hello, good to see you.
- 27:48Speaker 1: Everybody's being very nice, and Ethan tells Isaac he has
- 27:52Speaker 1: gotten a job and a house in Wisconsin.
- 27:57Speaker 2: Prove it.
- 27:59Speaker 1: I mean, that's what he said. So the girls go off. Teagan,
- 28:03Speaker 1: Calin and Mariah go off to talk and Mariah says, so,
- 28:07Speaker 1: how are you an Ethan doing? And she goes, all right,
- 28:11Speaker 1: I mean find it out. He was moving. Was a
- 28:13Speaker 1: big shock because we've been broken up for quite some time,
- 28:17Speaker 1: and Mariah says, I told him, like, hold on, you're
- 28:20Speaker 1: just gonna move there, like hold on, and so he
- 28:23Speaker 1: can goes. Yeah, I don't know. Like we're just working
- 28:25Speaker 1: on a friendship. And I've told him, of course I
- 28:28Speaker 1: do have love for him, but we're just gonna have
- 28:30Speaker 1: to work on friendship. And the talking head Teagan says,
- 28:33Speaker 1: we lived five hours apart, and mostly for me, a
- 28:38Speaker 1: single working mother, I was the one traveling back and
- 28:42Speaker 1: forth to see him, and looking back on it, I
- 28:45Speaker 1: was like, girl, what are you doing? And it wasn't
- 28:47Speaker 1: a red flag, but it was a yellow flag for sure.
- 28:50Speaker 2: And no, it's a red flag.
- 28:51Speaker 1: It's a red flag.
- 28:53Speaker 2: It is so the whole No, this whole person is
- 28:57Speaker 2: a red flag. He is selfish. The fact that he
- 29:03Speaker 2: made you, as a mother, drive for five hours instead
- 29:06Speaker 2: of him, when he loves his cars and loves being
- 29:08Speaker 2: on the open road in his tight pants. Yeah, he
- 29:13Speaker 2: is horrible. Yes, when he showed up at your at
- 29:17Speaker 2: your state out of nowhere, a normal person would call
- 29:21Speaker 2: the police on it. He's a walking red flag. His
- 29:25Speaker 2: behavior last season should have been he should have been arrested.
- 29:28Speaker 1: Okay, but let's go back to the red flag. Everybody
- 29:32Speaker 1: can agree. My red flag is better.
- 29:35Speaker 2: I bigger is better.
- 29:38Speaker 1: Your red flag is cumbersome and loud.
- 29:42Speaker 2: It is not.
- 29:43Speaker 1: Is that a golf club that you have it? You
- 29:45Speaker 1: have it on a golf club? No, did you put
- 29:48Speaker 1: it on a golf club?
- 29:49Speaker 3: No.
- 29:49Speaker 2: It's like a pointer, like for a mine. So I
- 29:53Speaker 2: can point to a point. Go, this is my murder board.
- 29:57Speaker 2: Let me point to different things on it.
- 30:00Speaker 1: Red flag is better, My red flag is better.
- 30:04Speaker 2: This I like registrate myself in it.
- 30:07Speaker 1: Oh god, your red flag is so loud on the microphone.
- 30:12Speaker 2: That's wrestling.
- 30:14Speaker 1: Okay. Anyway, Teagan says that was a yellow flag, but
- 30:17Speaker 1: we say, Tigan, it was a red flag. Yeah, And
- 30:21Speaker 1: so she says, I have no interest into diving into
- 30:24Speaker 1: anything with him. I want to keep it friendship. I
- 30:27Speaker 1: want to keep it superficial. And after the breakup, Kaylan
- 30:30Speaker 1: and I kept in touch and talked for a long time,
- 30:33Speaker 1: like many months. We stayed friends, but then it fizzled out.
- 30:37Speaker 1: And she definitely does not know the whole story. I mean,
- 30:40Speaker 1: in all the time they were talking after they broke up,
- 30:43Speaker 1: Teagan never threw Ethan under the bus and told the
- 30:46Speaker 1: whole story, or Kaylan does know this story and there's
- 30:51Speaker 1: more because now they've said privately, they've said this, So
- 30:54Speaker 1: this peeling off and leaving her and him going back
- 30:57Speaker 1: to Georgia is not the whole story. There's more. Where's
- 31:01Speaker 1: something worse?
- 31:02Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 31:03Speaker 1: Okay?
- 31:04Speaker 2: And does it involve a hate rme? Sorry? Does it?
- 31:07Speaker 1: Okay? So she tells them, Tigan says, I know he
- 31:11Speaker 1: seems sad, and I wish he wasn't. But you know,
- 31:15Speaker 1: I've read about it, and men and women more things differently,
- 31:18Speaker 1: Like women will mourn a relationship while it's happening, and
- 31:23Speaker 1: men will mourn it after it's gone because they don't
- 31:27Speaker 1: realize they've lost something un till they've lost it. And
- 31:30Speaker 1: I think that is one thousand percent true. Women can
- 31:34Speaker 1: see it as it's happening and they're so sure, and
- 31:37Speaker 1: then men are like, oh, wow, she left me.
- 31:39Speaker 2: I thought everything was fine, right, yeah right, And then
- 31:42Speaker 2: they don't know how well Ethan. I shouldn't say all men.
- 31:46Speaker 2: Ethan does not know how to mourn. He doesn't know
- 31:48Speaker 2: how to have these feelings. So he's either moping or
- 31:51Speaker 2: he's lashing out at poor Zach. Yeah, yes, right, right
- 31:55Speaker 2: right right, you know, or I or work just working
- 31:59Speaker 2: out his just working on the cars, just working on
- 32:02Speaker 2: the cars.
- 32:03Speaker 1: Yeah, and Tiken says, you know, he's so emotional, and
- 32:06Speaker 1: I know I seem so emotional, but I have already
- 32:09Speaker 1: mourned it, you know, which is a great point for
- 32:12Speaker 1: her to make, to be like, I know you guys
- 32:13Speaker 1: think like I'm a coldhard bitch and he's so sad,
- 32:15Speaker 1: but I've already done my morning process and he's just
- 32:18Speaker 1: now getting there. Yeah, And Caitlyn goes. I think he's
- 32:22Speaker 1: also so worried about saying the wrong thing or making
- 32:25Speaker 1: the wrong move, and so he can goes. I don't know,
- 32:28Speaker 1: like if it's meant to be, it'll be, but like
- 32:29Speaker 1: I can't tell you, like she's because she is so
- 32:32Speaker 1: far past this that she's like, I don't know, I'm
- 32:36Speaker 1: sorry he's worried about saying the wrong thing. Like I
- 32:39Speaker 1: was there four months ago. I'm over it, you know,
- 32:41Speaker 1: I'm over it.
- 32:42Speaker 2: I just don't get why she's here on this trip,
- 32:44Speaker 2: like you don't either. People are fun enough to want
- 32:48Speaker 2: to stay in this friend group.
- 32:50Speaker 1: Like I think she could, actually I think she could
- 32:52Speaker 1: tractually sign on for the season.
- 32:55Speaker 2: That's the only thing that makes sense. That's why I
- 32:57Speaker 2: leave your child to go hang out with these boring
- 33:00Speaker 2: ass blonde people.
- 33:01Speaker 1: No, the child must be at the dad's and that
- 33:04Speaker 1: must be how she was able to drive back and
- 33:06Speaker 1: forth five hours, but to drive ten hours on a
- 33:09Speaker 1: weekend to go and see this fucking loser. No, all
- 33:12Speaker 1: right to fly.
- 33:14Speaker 2: And to all this stay in this cabin and go.
- 33:18Speaker 2: I mean, it's just I.
- 33:19Speaker 1: Think that's why he said she's only there for a
- 33:21Speaker 1: couple of days, because I think she has a kid.
- 33:23Speaker 1: She's got to get back to just responsibility.
- 33:25Speaker 2: Maybe she gets paid by the episode she needs.
- 33:28Speaker 1: Maybe maybe so In the talking Head, Caylen goes, I mean,
- 33:34Speaker 1: everybody moves at their own pace and everything. But since
- 33:37Speaker 1: Ethan moved up there, I thought they would be more
- 33:39Speaker 1: than friends. But I don't know. I guess we just
- 33:41Speaker 1: have to see what happens. Kaylen knows something that she's
- 33:44Speaker 1: not saying. But we're going to get there eventually, I hope.
- 33:48Speaker 1: So the next day, Mariah is doing her face in
- 33:53Speaker 1: the mirror and she is funny. She goes, oh my gosh,
- 33:56Speaker 1: I woke up. I was so hot, and then I
- 33:58Speaker 1: realized before I went to bed, I had turned heat
- 34:00Speaker 1: to eighty so I literally woke up on the wrong
- 34:03Speaker 1: side of the bed like crazy, with no eyebrows on.
- 34:06Speaker 1: She was like sweating and flashing all around the bed.
- 34:10Speaker 2: So she says, that's the funniest thing she's ever said.
- 34:15Speaker 1: I And this right here, this made me so happy
- 34:19Speaker 1: because right now when we're doing season three over on Prime,
- 34:23Speaker 1: we are in the happy Mariah who has left the
- 34:25Speaker 1: family and has this boyfriend and is like discovering things
- 34:30Speaker 1: in the world. And then of course she went so downhill,
- 34:34Speaker 1: you know, So this is I like that she's getting
- 34:38Speaker 1: back to herself here. She says, you know, out here
- 34:42Speaker 1: in Montana has been really good for me, and I'm
- 34:44Speaker 1: really trying to figure out I'm in the process of
- 34:47Speaker 1: trying to figure out what triggers my alopecia. I'm trying
- 34:51Speaker 1: to eat more. I'm trying to be healthy, which is great,
- 34:55Speaker 1: which is great because probably a doctor said you're very unhealthy,
- 35:00Speaker 1: you know. Yeah, And she says, you look like you
- 35:03Speaker 1: have just like a consumption assumption. Yeah yeah, I don't know. Yeah.
- 35:10Speaker 1: So she says, I've been seeing some growth on my eyebrow,
- 35:13Speaker 1: so I mean, I'm not, you know, I don't know.
- 35:15Speaker 1: It just gives me a little hope, and that's good.
- 35:17Speaker 1: And she says, I know every single human has something
- 35:21Speaker 1: they're insecure about, and it might not be as obvious
- 35:24Speaker 1: as hair, but everybody has something. And all of this
- 35:29Speaker 1: happened when I moved out here to Montana. I lost
- 35:32Speaker 1: all my hair, but weirdly enough, mentally, it was like
- 35:35Speaker 1: a full reset, like I'm here now, and it was
- 35:37Speaker 1: a full reset. So she has a really good attitude.
- 35:40Speaker 1: She's kind of gone back to being a happy person
- 35:43Speaker 1: with a good attitude that we knew before, you know.
- 35:46Speaker 1: So I'm glad.
- 35:47Speaker 2: Did she get a job in Montana?
- 35:49Speaker 1: She must have a job, yeah, I mean, she has
- 35:51Speaker 1: her bartending degree, so I don't know what.
- 35:54Speaker 2: I hope she's making friends, yeah, I mean, I don't
- 35:57Speaker 2: feel like hanging out with her family is good for her.
- 36:00Speaker 1: But she doesn't have them as a crutch because they're
- 36:02Speaker 1: not even in a driving distance to Montana. They're not
- 36:05Speaker 1: in Tampa or Tallahassee or Thomasville. You know, they're not
- 36:08Speaker 1: Clots or Miami even, you know, they're just I feel.
- 36:12Speaker 2: Maybe her hair will start to grow back now that
- 36:14Speaker 2: she's away from Kim.
- 36:16Speaker 1: That's what I'm Yeah, I'm hoping that this Montana thing,
- 36:18Speaker 1: she it was so stressful that she got there and
- 36:21Speaker 1: that she started seeing a holistic healer or a doctor
- 36:24Speaker 1: or somebody who's helping her with all this. So today
- 36:28Speaker 1: is a nice day. So they're going to get to
- 36:30Speaker 1: do something because the day before it rained. So Teagan
- 36:33Speaker 1: sets up her phone on like a little tripod, like
- 36:38Speaker 1: a little mini tripod, and says she's going to do
- 36:41Speaker 1: an interview on her iPhone with Ethan. And she tells
- 36:46Speaker 1: us that she has discovered that Ethan does not do
- 36:49Speaker 1: well talking about his feelings. The best he ever does
- 36:53Speaker 1: talking about his feeling is when he has camera in
- 36:55Speaker 1: his face.
- 36:57Speaker 2: Interesting, she says, So that happens, and you're raised on
- 37:00Speaker 2: a reality show, I guess.
- 37:02Speaker 1: And so he said, this is my way to try
- 37:04Speaker 1: to get him to talk. I'm going to interview him
- 37:07Speaker 1: and try to get him to talk. And if he's
- 37:08Speaker 1: got a camera on him, maybe he'll admit to some
- 37:11Speaker 1: wrongdoings or maybe he'll realize some things he could do better,
- 37:17Speaker 1: and that would signify would signify the growth that I'm
- 37:21Speaker 1: hoping for, even for a friendship alone. Okay, So she says, so,
- 37:28Speaker 1: do you have anything to say about how you chose
- 37:30Speaker 1: to conduct your last yourself last year? Especially to Zach.
- 37:37Speaker 2: I was shocked.
- 37:39Speaker 1: Because they haven't asked him this directly.
- 37:42Speaker 2: I have more respect for Teaking now in this moment
- 37:45Speaker 2: than I have for anybody else on this show besides
- 37:49Speaker 2: Zach and Lydia, and they're just mid So this is
- 37:54Speaker 2: good girl, good for.
- 37:56Speaker 1: You, Yeah, good good, And especially to Zach. She didn't
- 38:00Speaker 1: say Zach Lydia, she says to Zach because in that
- 38:02Speaker 1: big family meeting episode one never brought up that he
- 38:06Speaker 1: was the one, and Kim the mother leading this charge
- 38:09Speaker 1: of him being gay, and she says, is that anyway
- 38:12Speaker 1: to live your life? Being petty? We see all the
- 38:17Speaker 1: clips of his horrible behavior from last year, not all well,
- 38:20Speaker 1: we didn't see a starter, we didn't see the engagement stuff,
- 38:24Speaker 1: but we see him peeling out in his stupid car
- 38:27Speaker 1: and leaving her again for another time. In the talking head,
- 38:32Speaker 1: she goes, I was very disappointed in his behavior around
- 38:36Speaker 1: their wedding and that was not the ethan. I know.
- 38:39Speaker 1: He made an ass of himself and he did a
- 38:41Speaker 1: shitty job of being there for his sister.
- 38:45Speaker 2: Yes, that's when you got the ick. And in one
- 38:52Speaker 2: of the clips when he's peeling off, you see Caylin
- 38:55Speaker 2: and she looks so mad too, and like embarrassed, And
- 38:59Speaker 2: so I was thinking, like, why would you want Teagan
- 39:03Speaker 2: to be with this person? Like you see how horrible
- 39:06Speaker 2: he's Yeah? Two, so why are you not taking her
- 39:09Speaker 2: side in this? But anyway I was, I was like,
- 39:11Speaker 2: yet I loved Teagan for that.
- 39:14Speaker 1: I loved it, just a little bit of Olivia's spirit
- 39:17Speaker 1: in that moment. And the talking head Ethan says, Yeah,
- 39:23Speaker 1: Teagan was real mad that I left like that, And
- 39:27Speaker 1: she told me if I was really mad or felt
- 39:29Speaker 1: like I needed to go, that I should have come
- 39:31Speaker 1: to her and told her and she would have come
- 39:34Speaker 1: with me and we could have talked it out. But
- 39:36Speaker 1: I don't think like that, and I just left, right.
- 39:39Speaker 1: That's the fucking problem. That's the problem. Yeah. So, and
- 39:44Speaker 1: as for the questions that she asked, she says, he says,
- 39:49Speaker 1: Answering the question, he says, uh, yeah, I shouldn't have
- 39:53Speaker 1: been so hot headed. And I've apologized to Lydia and
- 39:56Speaker 1: Zach for the ways I may have hurt them. I
- 40:00Speaker 1: let them know that I'm wishing them the best and
- 40:02Speaker 1: we have a good relationship. Now, no you don't.
- 40:05Speaker 2: Okay that is false. No you don't look at you
- 40:09Speaker 2: glare at him like you want to punch him in
- 40:11Speaker 2: the face.
- 40:12Speaker 1: Yes don't. You don't have a good hit them now.
- 40:15Speaker 2: Like this is. You do not. And your apology was
- 40:19Speaker 2: so half asked. You did not specify anything that you
- 40:22Speaker 2: did wrong now and you basically only did it. You
- 40:26Speaker 2: were the last one to speak besides Kim, and after
- 40:30Speaker 2: everyone else had apologized at the table, and finally you
- 40:34Speaker 2: were like, well, I guess yeah, I'm sorry.
- 40:36Speaker 1: I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings. Yeah, exactly, And
- 40:39Speaker 1: I only did it because I care. So Mariah what
- 40:44Speaker 1: she does when she gets stressed. She talks in a
- 40:46Speaker 1: baby voice and she goes, I'm excited. I'm excited to
- 40:49Speaker 1: ride horses, and this is special because we're all together.
- 40:52Speaker 1: So they all go outside and get on horses. Now, everybody,
- 40:57Speaker 1: the Plaiths, they're used to horses, They had horses. But
- 41:00Speaker 1: Teagan says, like, you know, the only time I ever
- 41:02Speaker 1: rode a horse was like a little carnival when they
- 41:04Speaker 1: would lead you around. So she's you know, So she
- 41:07Speaker 1: says Ethan's trying to be protective of me because he
- 41:09Speaker 1: knows I haven't, which is fine, but you know, I
- 41:12Speaker 1: got like, I got it. And Isaac says, I can
- 41:16Speaker 1: see Teagan as being very standoff fish with Ethan, and
- 41:20Speaker 1: I know that Ethan has not been perfect in this relationship.
- 41:24Speaker 1: If you're upset about something, that's okay, and you can
- 41:27Speaker 1: work through it, and if you need time to get
- 41:29Speaker 1: over something, then you should take that time. So I'm
- 41:32Speaker 1: not exactly sure what's to play here. And I think
- 41:34Speaker 1: Isaac also was like, why the hell is she here?
- 41:36Speaker 1: She doesn't like him, she doesn't, you know. And again
- 41:40Speaker 1: what they're not saying is she was obligated to do
- 41:43Speaker 1: four episodes and you know whatever. Yeah, so Teagan says
- 41:47Speaker 1: to her, she goes, it's this to me is not weird.
- 41:50Speaker 1: It's like doing anything with friends. I'm not familiar with horses,
- 41:54Speaker 1: and I know Ethan's protective, but he keeps turning around
- 41:56Speaker 1: and looking at me, and you see him just over
- 41:58Speaker 1: and over turning around to her, and she's like a
- 42:01Speaker 1: creeper yeah, and she goes, yeah, I'm annoyed. I'm annoyed.
- 42:05Speaker 1: And his vibe and his energy is so dark and heavy.
- 42:08Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 42:09Speaker 1: Yeah, and then she goes and of course it's the
- 42:11Speaker 1: people pleaser I am. I want to make sure he's happy.
- 42:14Speaker 1: And this is weird, so I'm trying to adjust to it,
- 42:16Speaker 1: and he's adjusting to to our new normal. But it's
- 42:20Speaker 1: important for me that I stick to my boundary in
- 42:23Speaker 1: our relationship. He put himself first, and I put him first.
- 42:27Speaker 1: Nobody ever put me first, and that's what I'm trying
- 42:29Speaker 1: to do here. Yeah, so good, good for you, Good for.
- 42:32Speaker 2: You, girl. Also, this trip would have been so much
- 42:35Speaker 2: more fun if no one had invited Ethan and maybe
- 42:38Speaker 2: invited Barry and Lydia Zach.
- 42:41Speaker 1: That would take Berlin. She looks like a good time. Yeah.
- 42:45Speaker 1: So they ride horses, it's fun. And then Kaylin's horse
- 42:48Speaker 1: gets mad and tries to bite Degan tours and the
- 42:51Speaker 1: instructor is like, these two fight like sisters. That's how
- 42:54Speaker 1: they are. Just make sure they don't get anybody's nose
- 42:57Speaker 1: too close to somebody else's butt whatever. But of course
- 43:00Speaker 1: that makes Ethan panic, you know, but Teacon handles it fine,
- 43:03Speaker 1: and so does Kaylen. And they come to this beautiful
- 43:06Speaker 1: space where they're going to take a picture and Kaylin's like,
- 43:10Speaker 1: oh my god, somebody take a picture. This is so beautiful.
- 43:19Speaker 1: I love Kaylen. I think she's so cute and I
- 43:22Speaker 1: like looking at her little face. I wandered, very cute.
- 43:25Speaker 1: I wanted her to get on tea inside. I'm hoping
- 43:28Speaker 1: next episode we're gonna see Teagan lay it out for
- 43:31Speaker 1: Kyle and what really happened. So I been talking head,
- 43:35Speaker 1: Ethan says, I know when I get in my head,
- 43:38Speaker 1: I get quiet and distant and that affects other people
- 43:42Speaker 1: and Teagan and.
- 43:44Speaker 2: Stop doing it.
- 43:45Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, you're grown up.
- 43:48Speaker 2: Go to therapy, get on medication. I'll give you my ssrr.
- 43:53Speaker 1: He says. I'm trying to reel myself back and join reality.
- 43:56Speaker 1: I am, and it's no fun to go through this,
- 44:00Speaker 1: but I'm hopeful this is not the end. Well, if
- 44:02Speaker 1: you keep acting like this, nobody wants to be around you.
- 44:05Speaker 2: No, it's no fun for anyone. It's not fun to watch,
- 44:09Speaker 2: it's not fun for them.
- 44:10Speaker 1: No, So they take a group picture. The talking head
- 44:13Speaker 1: Isaac goes, yeah, I'm watching this and Tigan is just
- 44:16Speaker 1: really blowing Ethan off, and I just don't know. I
- 44:19Speaker 1: don't know. I mean, I thought she was interacting with
- 44:21Speaker 1: them as much as she was interacting with anybody else. Yeah,
- 44:24Speaker 1: she's not trying to like, let me ride my horse
- 44:26Speaker 1: next to you. You know, she doesn't want to be
- 44:29Speaker 1: stared at, so God forbid, she doesn't. She doesn't creakingly
- 44:33Speaker 1: leering at her with pummy dog eyes.
- 44:36Speaker 3: Ugh.
- 44:37Speaker 1: He says, I don't know why she came on this
- 44:38Speaker 1: family trip. And I understand that Ethan's sad, but he's
- 44:42Speaker 1: been sad for a long time. And if it's not
- 44:44Speaker 1: gonna work, it's not gonna work. And the cockinghea Caylen
- 44:49Speaker 1: goes Teagan is being very standoff fish like, why would
- 44:52Speaker 1: she come to a whole different state with her ex
- 44:55Speaker 1: and his family if you're not going to make an effort.
- 44:59Speaker 2: She's made making an effort, he is not. Do you
- 45:02Speaker 2: think they're back together? Do you think do they think
- 45:05Speaker 2: like she should be holding his hand and kissing him.
- 45:09Speaker 2: I mean, she has a friend, and she is acting
- 45:13Speaker 2: like he's a friend. She's acting the same to all
- 45:16Speaker 2: of them.
- 45:18Speaker 1: I really hope next week, tea And is going to
- 45:20Speaker 1: sit Kaylen down and be like, here's actually what happened.
- 45:23Speaker 1: And then I hope Kaylen will say and that other
- 45:25Speaker 1: private thing happened, and then he will go, let's talk
- 45:28Speaker 1: about that too, right, yeah, okay, mostly because we just
- 45:34Speaker 1: really want to know, We just really want to know
- 45:35Speaker 1: what the profit is. Okay, Okay. Lydia and Zach so
- 45:40Speaker 1: it's Christmas time and we could see that because when
- 45:42Speaker 1: they're in Montana the Christmas trees upper stuff. So it's
- 45:44Speaker 1: around Christmas time November December, I guess, and we're reminded
- 45:49Speaker 1: that the Plats did not celebrate Christmas, and Zach says,
- 45:53Speaker 1: oh God, Lydia is so excited to celebrate Christmas and decorate, like,
- 45:56Speaker 1: she's really excited about it. He said, I'm down a
- 45:59Speaker 1: couple hundred books, but she's happy. Yeah, so he said.
- 46:03Speaker 1: She goes, I'm very excited about Christmas, and he goes,
- 46:05Speaker 1: that's because you never experienced it. She goes, I have,
- 46:08Speaker 1: I've experienced it. He goes, Okay, she goes, I have
- 46:11Speaker 1: three years of Christmas experience and he says, well, I
- 46:14Speaker 1: have twenty.
- 46:15Speaker 2: Four for some competition.
- 46:19Speaker 1: For some unknown reason, Taylor, her boss from the restaurant, arrives.
- 46:28Speaker 1: Does Zach the reason Zach and Lydia are currently moving
- 46:31Speaker 1: to Colorado that they just announced on Instagram. Is because
- 46:34Speaker 1: they have no friends there that are in their twenties.
- 46:36Speaker 1: Everybody is forty to fifty years old.
- 46:39Speaker 2: Yeah, I think this Colorado is so perfect for them.
- 46:43Speaker 2: I'm so excited He's gotten sisters.
- 46:46Speaker 1: That are normal. Yeah, it's gonna be great spinoff show.
- 46:51Speaker 1: So Taylor arrives and they're going to have hot cocoa
- 46:55Speaker 1: and talk about the meaning or Christmas. I don't know.
- 46:58Speaker 1: So they talk about what's your favorite thing about Christmas?
- 47:00Speaker 1: And Taylor says being around family. And Zach says, now
- 47:05Speaker 1: they talk to me now because I'm not gay anymore.
- 47:06Speaker 1: Remember that about to everybody was married to a man,
- 47:10Speaker 1: and now he doesn't believe in the game.
- 47:12Speaker 2: And Sack's like, and now they don't think I'm gay anymore.
- 47:15Speaker 2: High five formerly gays.
- 47:17Speaker 1: That's right, High five. So conversion therapy it works. High five.
- 47:22Speaker 1: So Zach says they're going to spend Christmas with his
- 47:26Speaker 1: family in Colorado, and then from there they're going to
- 47:29Speaker 1: go visit Mariah in Montana, and Taylor says, I'm sure
- 47:34Speaker 1: with no prompting from production. Oh aren't Isaac and Ethan
- 47:39Speaker 1: visiting Mariah right now? How do you feel about that? Lydia,
- 47:45Speaker 1: and in Talking Head, Lydia says, I was invited to
- 47:48Speaker 1: go on this trip, but it was very, very very
- 47:51Speaker 1: last minute, as if they knew I wouldn't be able
- 47:55Speaker 1: to go that last minute and I have another trip
- 47:57Speaker 1: planned out there anyway, so I didn't go.
- 48:01Speaker 2: That sucks.
- 48:02Speaker 1: They're leaving her out on purpose.
- 48:05Speaker 2: It was the nark growing up.
- 48:07Speaker 1: There's the nart growing up, and they can't get up a.
- 48:09Speaker 2: Little help her and second mom and she nagged, and
- 48:14Speaker 2: that even though she's cool now, they're still gonna exclude her.
- 48:19Speaker 1: I think when they all moved out Ethan, Micah, Mariah,
- 48:23Speaker 1: when they were all in their wild possible drinking and
- 48:29Speaker 1: partying phase, Lydia was not a part of it, and
- 48:33Speaker 1: so they kind of feel that special bond and Lydia
- 48:35Speaker 1: is just not with it. And also they were horrible
- 48:39Speaker 1: to her last year. So she tells us all my life,
- 48:47Speaker 1: I felt overlooked as a middle child. I always felt
- 48:51Speaker 1: on the outside looking in. Which is interesting because Mariah
- 48:55Speaker 1: says the same thing.
- 48:56Speaker 2: Right totally, they were both excluded, but for very different reasons.
- 49:00Speaker 1: Opposite reasons. Yeah, and she goes and that's shown itself
- 49:04Speaker 1: to be true since I've been married with Zach, and
- 49:07Speaker 1: Zach says, yeah, there are times that it really affects her,
- 49:10Speaker 1: But it affects me too. You know. We have expressed
- 49:13Speaker 1: that we really want to be a part of everyone's life,
- 49:16Speaker 1: and just a lot of stuff seems to happen without us,
- 49:19Speaker 1: and that really affects us. So he's saying, the entire
- 49:24Speaker 1: family except Barry does this.
- 49:26Speaker 2: Yeah, he was about because they's a friend and Zach Man, I.
- 49:31Speaker 1: Think Kim and I think Kim and Ethan like to
- 49:34Speaker 1: get together and really throw back some Margarita's and Lydia
- 49:39Speaker 1: is not about that life. Yeah, and they don't think
- 49:42Speaker 1: she's cool.
- 49:43Speaker 2: Find something that she does like to do? Do you eat?
- 49:46Speaker 2: Because you don't even know her at all? Which is
- 49:48Speaker 2: something she said a lot last season, was like, my
- 49:50Speaker 2: brother does.
- 49:51Speaker 1: Not know me, and her mother doesn't know her either.
- 49:53Speaker 2: Her mother doesn't know her, and it's so sad. She's
- 49:58Speaker 2: banging her way through some sort of like checklist. She's
- 50:02Speaker 2: trying all the sexpositions. She's fun now, she's n She's
- 50:07Speaker 2: totally fun. So I be fun at an amusement park too.
- 50:12Speaker 2: I think she could be a Disney adult and be
- 50:17Speaker 2: very fun. At like a theme park or a county fair.
- 50:21Speaker 2: I think she has a childlike spirit that she's rediscovering
- 50:24Speaker 2: because she never got to be a kid.
- 50:26Speaker 1: Yes, all that's right. So next time on Keen sits
- 50:31Speaker 1: down to talk to Kim and says he wants to
- 50:35Speaker 1: be with her forever, but not if she won't commit
- 50:39Speaker 1: to her health, and he is giving her an ultimatum,
- 50:43Speaker 1: Dan Keen, Wow, Ken, who knew?
- 50:49Speaker 2: Is this about her weight or is this about drinking?
- 50:53Speaker 1: I would imagine the two go hand in hand. M hm.
- 50:59Speaker 2: She's got a keep up so that she can help
- 51:02Speaker 2: him collect more memorabilia. Yeah, yeah, and join her for
- 51:10Speaker 2: certain meetings yes, yes, things over your head right right,
- 51:16Speaker 2: And she's not going to be around long if she
- 51:19Speaker 2: keeps up like this.
- 51:20Speaker 1: She's got to get her health in check. I don't
- 51:22Speaker 1: think she They.
- 51:22Speaker 2: Go to doctors. And that's the other thing, Like because
- 51:25Speaker 2: she is.
- 51:26Speaker 1: A doctor, don't forget she's a nature of path. Don't
- 51:29Speaker 1: forget she's a doctor. Yeh, path, Yeah, that's your path.
- 51:34Speaker 2: Because I'm still mad about Cassie's eye, Like that's just
- 51:38Speaker 2: pisses me off to knowing.
- 51:42Speaker 1: Cassie can fix it herself when she's eighteen. That's how
- 51:44Speaker 1: we do it. Oh, don't worry, don't worry about it,
- 51:47Speaker 1: don't worry about it.
- 51:49Speaker 2: Needs her blood sugar checked and like her hormones checked
- 51:53Speaker 2: and get a whole panel done, her thyroid everything.
- 51:57Speaker 1: She needs all of that. And maybe he's suggesting she
- 51:59Speaker 1: goes on the shot. Maybe he's suggesting she put down
- 52:02Speaker 1: the bottle. We'll find out if he's suggesting. But I'm
- 52:05Speaker 1: going to tell you something right now. These Plath producers,
- 52:08Speaker 1: I personally know that all of these people are contracted
- 52:14Speaker 1: up to season eight, which we're in. I personally know
- 52:18Speaker 1: that information that they were all contracted through season eight.
- 52:21Speaker 1: Olivia I got out of her contract after season seven
- 52:24Speaker 1: was able to not film.
- 52:26Speaker 2: So who are you suggesting there won't be a season nine?
- 52:30Speaker 1: I'm suggesting if they don't bring it with some storylines,
- 52:34Speaker 1: you won't have a season nine. So I think all
- 52:36Speaker 1: this Teagan Kaylin private story and Ken talking to Kim
- 52:43Speaker 1: about her health issues and addressing her drinking on camera
- 52:47Speaker 1: is where they're going with this so that they get
- 52:49Speaker 1: another season.
- 52:51Speaker 2: I want to see Barry's dating, man, I can't we
- 52:54Speaker 2: see Barry's speed dating?
- 52:58Speaker 1: Okay, so Lydia and her friend talk and the friend says,
- 53:02Speaker 1: so you were a virgin on your wedding night, Like,
- 53:04Speaker 1: how was that?
- 53:05Speaker 2: And she's like.
- 53:07Speaker 1: And then Lydia on camera and her talking kid says,
- 53:10Speaker 1: there's definitely a side of me that people don't know,
- 53:13Speaker 1: and she bites into a banana and laughs about.
- 53:17Speaker 2: It Mary Brown style.
- 53:21Speaker 1: I don't know that, but sure.
- 53:24Speaker 2: When during her Catfish era there was an infamous photo
- 53:27Speaker 2: of her biting into a banana and showing yeah, and
- 53:31Speaker 2: it was no, is Lydia going to be the new

- 53:45Speaker 2: need to try. I'm here for it.
- 53:49Speaker 1: I think it's more like when you get married and

- 54:11Speaker 1: accent that I had to put the close caption on
- 54:13Speaker 1: to see what she said.
- 54:15Speaker 2: I can That's what I should have done more of
- 54:18Speaker 2: Teakan's accent when we did our theater I should have
- 54:21Speaker 2: done like, oh, and Ethan walked away in his car
- 54:28Speaker 2: and then he turned his phone off and I never
- 54:31Speaker 2: heard from him and we broke up that day.
- 54:34Speaker 1: She doesn't really talk that. She doesn't really talk that way.
- 54:37Speaker 1: She just has one my Yeah, my relatives do, and like,
- 54:44Speaker 1: oh jeez, I could play you my the recent message
- 54:48Speaker 1: from my aunt. But it's okay, it's it's it's insane
- 54:55Speaker 1: the way my relatives talk. Well. The mom says his
- 54:59Speaker 1: end goal is to win her back, so it's important
- 55:01Speaker 1: to set the boundary, and I was like, what the
- 55:03Speaker 1: fuck did she just say? I couldn't understand the end
- 55:06Speaker 1: goal part? The end goal? I was like, his what is?
- 55:09Speaker 2: What?
- 55:10Speaker 1: So? I mean? The mom is like, tell me if
- 55:13Speaker 1: you can hear this, okay, all right, we're listening, honey. Wait,
- 55:20Speaker 1: I can hear it, but you needed to make it
- 55:21Speaker 1: way louder.
- 55:22Speaker 2: I know, why can't I.
- 55:25Speaker 1: I don't know how you work that stupid android phone
- 55:27Speaker 1: of yours.
- 55:29Speaker 2: No, I don't want to call her.
- 55:30Speaker 1: You want to put it on speaker.

- 56:31Speaker 1: give up. And I think what Mom is saying is
- 56:34Speaker 1: we're scared of him.
- 56:36Speaker 2: He is a stalker. Yeah, but like a stalker that
- 56:39Speaker 2: doesn't give up, and the laws are not protecting stalking
- 56:43Speaker 2: victims in this country. We are worried for Tigan. We're
