- 0:05Speaker 2: Air on Air with a Ryan Seacrest.
- 0:09Speaker 1: Two point sevenence kiss. I m a good morning Seacrest
- 0:12Speaker 1: with you. Very excited today. It's a celebration of so
- 0:16Speaker 1: many different things. First of all, it's a brand new day.
- 0:19Speaker 1: Time to go out and make it good. Put your shoulder,
- 0:22Speaker 1: put your squeeze your lower abs, put your shoulders back
- 0:26Speaker 1: in the sockets, release that tension in the neck. Move
- 0:30Speaker 1: forward today. All right, progress today, get through it today.
- 0:35Speaker 3: What I'm talking about, bring that baby.
- 0:37Speaker 1: That's a new day. It's my yoga, my yoga kicking in.
- 0:41Speaker 1: I'm working on my posture through my yoga.
- 0:44Speaker 3: Who turned you onto that?
- 0:47Speaker 1: I think it's just time. Oh, I know, it turned
- 0:48Speaker 1: me on to the pain of my shoulders, isn't he?
- 0:51Speaker 4: I was gonna say that, I really enjoyed you teaching us.
- 0:55Speaker 4: And then it like releases all the tension in your shoulders.
- 0:58Speaker 1: This is a this is a of longevity tips coming
- 1:02Speaker 1: out of his mouth. He just continued to hear them
- 1:05Speaker 1: as time goes by. H I'm excited. We have Ryan's
- 1:09Speaker 1: roses today. We have Dwayne the Rock Johnson today. Yes,
- 1:15Speaker 1: I think he is one of the most loved people
- 1:18Speaker 1: on the planet.
- 1:20Speaker 3: Agree with you.
- 1:22Speaker 1: I think that, like, if you look at all of
- 1:24Speaker 1: his films and what he's done, he just people love
- 1:28Speaker 1: him and he seems like a very kind guy. Actually
- 1:31Speaker 1: he is a kind guy. But when he was at
- 1:33Speaker 1: the d twenty three Legends Award, which I was hosting,
- 1:37Speaker 1: Emily Blunt helped introduce him, and she said, he's so
- 1:42Speaker 1: kind and so filthy. So I want to know, what
- 1:44Speaker 1: is she talking about. That he's filthy? Is a filthy
- 1:47Speaker 1: sense of humor?
- 1:48Speaker 5: Maybe people him also because he is so I mean,
- 1:52Speaker 5: at least this is what comes off very very normal.
- 1:55Speaker 5: Do you guys remember that birthday party he threw for
- 1:57Speaker 5: his little girl and it was like paper plates and plastic, Yeah.
- 2:01Speaker 3: Like not over the top.
- 2:02Speaker 5: And you're seeing all these other people throwing like their
- 2:04Speaker 5: little kid's birthdays and like balloon arches and like all
- 2:08Speaker 5: these like crazy catering and stuff, and his was just
- 2:10Speaker 5: like totally normal the celebrity.
- 2:13Speaker 1: Yeah, he did it like a normal, normal person.
- 2:15Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 2:15Speaker 1: So that's coming up. Ryan's Roses and it's Tubbs birthday.
- 2:17Speaker 1: Happy birthday to our engineer Jeff Tubs.
- 2:19Speaker 4: Oh my goodness, we've been blessed by your birth, you
- 2:22Speaker 4: Tubs Tubbs.
- 2:24Speaker 1: When you look back at your time here and the
- 2:26Speaker 1: evolution of you, the growth of you as a person,
- 2:28Speaker 1: as an engineer, as a team member, what do you
- 2:31Speaker 1: think about, Jeffrey Tubbs?
- 2:32Speaker 3: I just think about how many more years that I'm
- 2:36Speaker 3: wanting to do this?
- 2:38Speaker 1: Keep growing. I don't know if that sounds like the
- 2:40Speaker 1: positive view or the negativeview, meaning like you don't know
- 2:43Speaker 1: how much more you got in you?
- 2:45Speaker 3: How many more years I get?
- 2:48Speaker 1: Right?
- 2:48Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 2:49Speaker 1: More years I get to do?
- 2:49Speaker 3: You get to be blessed with this job.
- 2:51Speaker 1: There's a reason you're not on the air, and that
- 2:53Speaker 1: proved it right there, your choice of words. But he's
- 2:59Speaker 1: just it's been a lot of fun. I don't know
- 3:01Speaker 1: how long he's gonna be here based on that, but
- 3:03Speaker 1: he's been a lot of fun. He's been here, always
- 3:06Speaker 1: bringing it and bringing that calm, a calm sense of engineering.
- 3:10Speaker 4: You could not live your life without touchy Oh.
- 3:13Speaker 1: I didn't intimidate jeff Tubbs, did it? New sir? Why
- 3:16Speaker 1: at two point seven? His kiss f han La Dwayne
- 3:19Speaker 1: the Rock Johnson coming up after eight o'clock this morning.
- 3:22Speaker 1: I love the guy. I love his attitude towards life.
- 3:25Speaker 1: I love his discipline. Actually, I'd like to talk to
- 3:28Speaker 1: him about discipline because I advocate it.
- 3:31Speaker 6: But it's a.
- 3:32Speaker 1: Blessing and a curse. So I want to understand his
- 3:35Speaker 1: view of how he tempers the curse of discipline. You
- 3:39Speaker 1: follow me? Interesting, okay, because you could be too disciplined.
- 3:44Speaker 1: I speak from experience.
- 3:46Speaker 3: Yeah, are you do consider yourself too disciplined?
- 3:48Speaker 1: So there are Yeah, sometimes I sometimes I like, you
- 3:52Speaker 1: know that I cannot break the routine, right, break the routine,
- 3:55Speaker 1: everything's gonna fall apart. That's a curse. That's the curse
- 3:58Speaker 1: part of the blessing.
- 3:58Speaker 3: So then you miss out on others that other people
- 4:00Speaker 3: might want you at.
- 4:01Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, Or I just want to do Like I
- 4:04Speaker 1: was just thinking about The Odyssey. I want to go
- 4:07Speaker 1: see that. But what if I go in the middle
- 4:09Speaker 1: of the day, I'd feel terrible. I'd feel bad about
- 4:11Speaker 1: myself the afternoon. It's so late, it's a long movie.
- 4:15Speaker 1: I can't like a.
- 4:16Speaker 3: Five o'clock showing.
- 4:18Speaker 1: You can make a day that's rush hour. I can't
- 4:20Speaker 1: get there.
- 4:21Speaker 6: Wow.
- 4:21Speaker 1: So anyway, you understand, he understands. Let me bring in
- 4:25Speaker 1: our back room and our summer intern going to usc
- 4:28Speaker 1: so Bella your question about bringing what to the.
- 4:31Speaker 8: Office, bringing fish for lunch?
- 4:34Speaker 1: No, why do you bring Why do you even think
- 4:36Speaker 1: you need to ask us about that?
- 4:38Speaker 8: So my past internship, I brought fish for lunch and
- 4:42Speaker 8: my boss made a comment and was like, uh, who
- 4:45Speaker 8: cooked fish? And I was like, oh, it was me
- 4:48Speaker 8: and she was like can you open the window? And
- 4:50Speaker 8: I never brought fish to the office again.
- 4:53Speaker 1: Well, you should take that lesson here because it is
- 4:56Speaker 1: a It is a bad fish sticks to the pay
- 5:00Speaker 1: paper towels in the breakroom, it sticks to the cabinet tree,
- 5:03Speaker 1: it sticks to the table, the tiles. Fish. This is
- 5:05Speaker 1: no workspace, is no place for fish.
- 5:08Speaker 5: First, fish is an excellent form of protein. It is
- 5:13Speaker 5: a nice nutrish meal. To talk about that, Yes, we are,
- 5:18Speaker 5: we spend so much.
- 5:19Speaker 2: We're talking about consideration to others with aroma. Wait a minute,
- 5:22Speaker 2: food is out There is a way around this. We
- 5:24Speaker 2: don't just have one kitchen. Do not use this kitchen
- 5:27Speaker 2: right here that's out in the open in front of
- 5:28Speaker 2: people's cubicles as it In turn, why.
- 5:30Speaker 1: Would you even ask that you're supposed to bring in
- 5:32Speaker 1: non smelly food With.
- 5:33Speaker 4: The snow, you can cook your fish in the red
- 5:36Speaker 4: kitchen that's down the hall.
- 5:37Speaker 3: Everyone does it. Johan Kamuchi was cooking up a fish
- 5:39Speaker 3: the other day. There, cook your fish wherever you want.
- 5:43Speaker 1: Comes in with their aromas. You don't need.
- 5:45Speaker 5: Fumes and their potions and their lotions.
- 5:48Speaker 1: In front of the cubicles is just rude. Pull out
- 5:50Speaker 1: your notebook from USC I'm gonna give you the answer
- 5:53Speaker 1: right here. Write this down, Okay, it's very simple. Canned
- 5:57Speaker 1: fish is fine. So beans in a can, anchovies in
- 6:01Speaker 1: a can, smoke doorsters in a can. Anything in a
- 6:04Speaker 1: can is fine. That's it. That's what you can eat.
- 6:07Speaker 3: You're not gonna bring sardine.
- 6:10Speaker 1: Excuse me, I have sardines with me, you do? Silence, Yeah,
- 6:17Speaker 1: I've packed sardines all the time. What a great, easy
- 6:20Speaker 1: time saver, higher protein.
- 6:22Speaker 3: I want to get into sardines so bad.
- 6:24Speaker 1: I'm happy to introduce you to I'm the gateway to
- 6:26Speaker 1: the sardine.
- 6:28Speaker 9: All right.
- 6:28Speaker 1: Anyway, that's your answer. You or can fish, egg salad,
- 6:34Speaker 1: hard boiled eggs, fish. That's tony.
- 6:36Speaker 6: Oh good.
- 6:37Speaker 1: It almost like my stomach is in the in credit
- 6:39Speaker 1: coaster right now just thinking about it. Shab you can't
- 6:44Speaker 1: one or two point seven because I have them Ryan Seacrest.
- 6:46Speaker 1: We got a Ryan's roses coming up in just a
- 6:48Speaker 1: little bit after seven o'clock. So we're all talking about
- 6:51Speaker 1: AI and where it's going to go and what's gonna happen.
- 6:55Speaker 1: And that's a non human giving you human responses. Now
- 6:59Speaker 1: there's a dude that is actually an AI. Fake. Yeah,
- 7:03Speaker 1: it kind of looks like it's AI, but it's a
- 7:05Speaker 1: human being at the other end, just answering all your
- 7:07Speaker 1: questions and drawing pictures.
- 7:09Speaker 3: How weird is that?
- 7:10Speaker 1: Right? So this is happening in San Francisco. Average individual
- 7:13Speaker 1: AI and average individual.
- 7:15Speaker 3: Yeah, this guy named Tucker J.
- 7:17Speaker 4: Bryant spent six thousand dollars on a billboard and he
- 7:22Speaker 4: called it chat TJB. And the fine print at the
- 7:26Speaker 4: very bottom says AI stands for average individuals. So every
- 7:29Speaker 4: time somebody send a prompt, it was him answering every
- 7:34Speaker 4: single time, And for what reason?
- 7:37Speaker 3: Just for fun?
- 7:39Speaker 1: He paid to do it?
- 7:39Speaker 3: Is there paid to do it? He paid to do
- 7:42Speaker 3: He paid.
- 7:43Speaker 1: Six grand for a billboard and he's doing It's so
- 7:45Speaker 1: fascinating to me to think about this. We've gone full
- 7:46Speaker 1: circle now because somebody created AI to imitate humans, and
- 7:51Speaker 1: now he's imitating He's a human imitating AI.
- 7:54Speaker 3: Right.
- 7:55Speaker 1: For what I think his signature, well, I think the
- 7:58Speaker 1: cat should be what's his name? TJ Hooker, Tucker J. Bryant,
- 8:03Speaker 1: Tucker J. Bryan, Nobody listening remembers that was a TV
- 8:06Speaker 1: show TJ. Hooker, It was an LAPD TV show. Anyway,
- 8:13Speaker 1: his signature should be just the delay in which it
- 8:15Speaker 1: takes to come up with the information. Like it's just
- 8:17Speaker 1: old school. You ask him a question, he has to
- 8:19Speaker 1: do all the research. He'll get back to you. It's
- 8:22Speaker 1: like I'll get it's a latency. I'll get back to
- 8:24Speaker 1: you on that right and written picture in the meantime.
- 8:27Speaker 3: And if you ask you to generate an image, that's
- 8:28Speaker 3: what he does.
- 8:29Speaker 5: He does.
- 8:29Speaker 3: He draws it by hand.
- 8:31Speaker 1: I don't think this has the future, all right, So
- 8:34Speaker 1: coming up next, I got a quote of the day.
- 8:36Speaker 1: And if you don't like protein powder, I just saw
- 8:38Speaker 1: this alternative that does the same trick. I'll tell you
- 8:40Speaker 1: about it, Kiss two point seven Kiss FM. So if
- 8:44Speaker 1: you don't like the taste or texture protein powder, I
- 8:46Speaker 1: happen to not mind it. But I like things that
- 8:50Speaker 1: taste bad, and I can get buy it.
- 8:52Speaker 3: They can get be a little chalky.
- 8:54Speaker 1: Sometimes they can be You're right, Uh, some people's stomach
- 8:58Speaker 1: like wave protein doesn't work for me. I got issues
- 9:00Speaker 1: in my stomach for that. They say, try this tofu.
- 9:07Speaker 1: It's a soy product. It's non dairy though, plant based
- 9:11Speaker 1: time protein. It doesn't have a lot of taste. It's
- 9:14Speaker 1: a texture thing. But it can make your smoothies creamy
- 9:17Speaker 1: and filling. I don't think i'd try it.
- 9:20Speaker 4: Yeah, out, just try that. I love tofu, you do,
- 9:25Speaker 4: I do. We have it at least like I mean,
- 9:28Speaker 4: like a couple times a month in our.
- 9:29Speaker 1: You have to fry it sauce.
- 9:32Speaker 4: We like, we treat it like steaks and we'll put
- 9:34Speaker 4: like the soyakey sauce from Trader Joe's.
- 9:37Speaker 1: You sauce it up.
- 9:38Speaker 4: You don't, and then we like and then yeah, and
- 9:40Speaker 4: then you cook it on the pan and it's like
- 9:41Speaker 4: a steak essentially, and then it doesn't do it?
- 9:43Speaker 3: Eat it with like broccoli ar rice either.
- 9:46Speaker 1: Yeah, try this and you're smoothie report back. I just
- 9:50Speaker 1: want to share it because I saw it. All right.
- 9:52Speaker 1: Here's the quote today, Well, the wrong doors closed, stop
- 9:56Speaker 1: knocking the right ones. Don't require begging. There you go,
- 10:02Speaker 1: Hie Serena Carpenter at KISSFM. After seven, it's Ryan's Roses.
- 10:06Speaker 1: Sisney some headlines this morning. Kiss FM headlines with Sissney.
- 10:10Speaker 2: Yes So.
- 10:10Speaker 4: The La City Council has appealed its van on homeless
- 10:14Speaker 4: encampments in twelve neighborhoods, including Hollywood, Silver Lake, at Water
- 10:19Speaker 4: Village and Echo Park. A massive four tower skyscraper development
- 10:24Speaker 4: called Viva It was an affordable high rise homes for
- 10:30Speaker 4: low income seniors. Neighbors in Pasadena are outraged after a
- 10:35Speaker 4: mail carrier was caught on video attacking a peacock that
- 10:38Speaker 4: residents say is a fixture of the neighborhood. And McDonalds
- 10:42Speaker 4: has launched Hello Kitty and Friends Godzilla Happy Meals, featuring
- 10:46Speaker 4: eight toys that turn the characters into Godzilla monsters.
- 10:51Speaker 1: Hey guys, you're on KISSFM, LA's number one at music station.
- 10:53Speaker 1: We are here. Let's roll into it. Ronnie is out

- 11:01Speaker 1: morning with free gas. The thing that you should know
- 11:03Speaker 1: about Ronnie, and I hope you have the blessing of
- 11:08Speaker 1: getting free gas from him, And I hope you have
- 11:10Speaker 1: the blessing of feeling his energy because he's got great energy.
- 11:14Speaker 1: He's got the positive vibes and positive spirit. Ronnie also
- 11:18Speaker 1: is a fashion easta. Oh yeah, he loves wouldn't you
- 11:23Speaker 1: say you're very much into the fit?
- 11:26Speaker 10: I am so into fastin Wait, that was such nice
- 11:29Speaker 10: things you said about me.
- 11:31Speaker 9: I'm gone, Yeah, I was just listening, like enjoying what
- 11:35Speaker 9: you were saying.
- 11:36Speaker 1: It's true.
- 11:38Speaker 9: I do love fashion like I love to put on
- 11:40Speaker 9: a good look.
- 11:41Speaker 1: So one of the things that Ronnie has said to
- 11:43Speaker 1: me is, hey, do you mind if I really put
- 11:45Speaker 1: some effort into my look? I don't want to wear
- 11:48Speaker 1: the kiss t shirt every day. I can. I just
- 11:49Speaker 1: put some effort into my look when I do the
- 11:52Speaker 1: free gas, I said, dude, I yes, and give me
- 11:54Speaker 1: the picture. So every day he's featuring a new fit
- 11:57Speaker 1: when he gives away his free gas. So today's fits.
- 12:02Speaker 9: So today it's giving very sporty. I'm wearing a mesh.
- 12:06Speaker 9: It's like a mess cream It's a mess cream top
- 12:11Speaker 9: with a red eighty on it. Like I kind of
- 12:13Speaker 9: look like a football player.
- 12:14Speaker 3: Oh, I've seen this ship. I know which one you're
- 12:17Speaker 3: talking about.
- 12:18Speaker 9: Okay, it's cute.
- 12:20Speaker 1: Uh, we go see his cuteness, please and get some
- 12:23Speaker 1: free gas. I like the Actually, this is one of
- 12:26Speaker 1: your fits I could wear.
- 12:29Speaker 9: Okay, I'll save the shirt for you.
- 12:32Speaker 1: Let me try. We can do a side by side.
- 12:34Speaker 1: I don't know if this is I think social media
- 12:37Speaker 1: wants a side by side. Well, we'll come back to it. Ronnie,
- 12:41Speaker 1: free gas. Tell me about it, Hollywood. What's up?
- 12:43Speaker 9: All right?
- 12:44Speaker 10: I'm here in Hollywood. I am with Greg. He's so
- 12:47Speaker 10: excited to get free gas. He's a busser, so he
- 12:49Speaker 10: is like, thank you so much. Here he goes.
- 12:54Speaker 1: Hello, Hey Greg, Seacrest on kiss a Family, Sysney and Tani.
- 12:58Speaker 1: You're on the air with his How are you bro?
- 13:00Speaker 9: Yes, Hi Ryan, thank you so much. I'm so excited.
- 13:03Speaker 1: Awesome. Well we got free gas for you, Greg. Where
- 13:06Speaker 1: do you bust tables?
- 13:09Speaker 9: I worked at Barney's Beanery.
- 13:10Speaker 1: Fun so you bottles, lots of bottles?
- 13:15Speaker 9: Oh yeah, yeah yeah, bottles, cans, glasses, I do it all.
- 13:20Speaker 1: Are you on your way there? I guess it's too
- 13:22Speaker 1: early for that. What time you have to get in?
- 13:27Speaker 9: My ship's usually started like four?
- 13:30Speaker 11: Right now?
- 13:32Speaker 1: We say hi and you go for you guys to
- 13:35Speaker 1: get you there.
- 13:35Speaker 9: Okay, Yeah, thank you so much. This is great. This,
- 13:38Speaker 9: this kind of stuff never happens to me. So very excited.
- 13:42Speaker 1: You can't say that again. And if you're in Barney's
- 13:44Speaker 1: Beanery in West Hollywood, ask for Greg the busser. Tell
- 13:49Speaker 1: him you heard about him on the air, and say
- 13:50Speaker 1: how do his mom?
- 13:51Speaker 9: While you're at it, Yes, shout out Donna, Donna.
- 13:56Speaker 1: All right, thank you for listening to us. Appreciate it.
- 13:59Speaker 9: Thank you so much. Hey, you got it right.
- 14:02Speaker 1: Hello, Ronnie, Hi, we'll talk to you in a little
- 14:05Speaker 1: bit free Gas this morning, Hollywood. Greg's a good dude.
- 14:08Speaker 1: Talk to you. Have you been a Barney's Beanery?
- 14:10Speaker 10: I have been there all the time, actually, but I've
- 14:13Speaker 10: never seen him, but I'm look for him.
- 14:15Speaker 1: He's knife now you're gonna look for him exactly. It's
- 14:17Speaker 1: kiss FM, free Gas coming up more later this morning
- 14:20Speaker 1: in Hollywood. She's one or two point seven kiss FM.
- 14:24Speaker 1: Are you watching one of the Love Islands right now wherever?
- 14:28Speaker 3: Yeah, that's true, there's one going on right there.
- 14:30Speaker 1: Always one playing somewhere. It's like it's always happy hours somewhere.
- 14:34Speaker 1: There's always someone watching a Love Island episode. Tanny, you're
- 14:37Speaker 1: talking about Love Island six in the Trending Report.
- 14:40Speaker 5: Yes, but she I think she's speaking on just Love
- 14:43Speaker 5: Island in general. So we are gearing up for the
- 14:45Speaker 5: Love Island reunion, the USA reunion, it's in a.
- 14:48Speaker 3: Little over a week. But our queen Leah.
- 14:51Speaker 5: Katab from Love Island season six, she was on the
- 14:53Speaker 5: Not Skinny but Not Fat podcast and she was spilling
- 14:57Speaker 5: all the tea. Okay, So before I play you this clip,
- 15:00Speaker 5: I want to tell you that they started giving Islanders
- 15:02Speaker 5: a drink limit, as in how money they could drink
- 15:05Speaker 5: a day, because of issues that they had in the
- 15:08Speaker 5: first few seasons of the show. So now they have
- 15:10Speaker 5: this drink limit. But listen to what Leah said on
- 15:12Speaker 5: this podcast.
- 15:13Speaker 4: If you pull him and talk to him, we'll give
- 15:15Speaker 4: you two extra glasses of wine.
- 15:17Speaker 5: So she confirmed this was like, I mean, not to
- 15:19Speaker 5: get into the weeds, but this is like they wanted
- 15:21Speaker 5: her to talk to Rob because everybody wanted everybody wanted her.
- 15:25Speaker 1: They offer drinks to loosen up.
- 15:28Speaker 5: No, they offered her two drinks to go talk to him,
- 15:30Speaker 5: because she was like, I want nothing to do with him,
- 15:32Speaker 5: but I want the drinks.
- 15:33Speaker 3: Yes.
- 15:34Speaker 5: So the fact that this does go on and the
- 15:36Speaker 5: producers do manipulate to get what they want, or push
- 15:39Speaker 5: the storyline that they want, the agenda they want. I
- 15:42Speaker 5: always knew this was happening, but hearing it from her,
- 15:44Speaker 5: I was like, I always thought they could drink freely. No,
- 15:48Speaker 5: I know the entire time they cannot. There was crazy
- 15:52Speaker 5: things that happened the first few seasons. They were drinking
- 15:54Speaker 5: all day, they were chain smoking, they were It.
- 15:56Speaker 1: Was like, but was that the best season?
- 15:58Speaker 3: That's what I'm saying, No, it was.
- 16:00Speaker 1: It was such a messy You got too sloppy.
- 16:02Speaker 3: It's too sloppy.
- 16:02Speaker 1: So now the disciplined drinking makes for a better show.
- 16:05Speaker 5: I don't know how I think it's only two drinks boring.
- 16:10Speaker 1: Well, I can say that, you know a judge is
- 16:13Speaker 1: or a judge that I've met on the American Idol
- 16:16Speaker 1: set no limit, really no limit. I'm just you pick.
- 16:23Speaker 1: Well it is one or two point seven kiss FM.
- 16:27Speaker 1: So let's get to Ryan's roses. Let me read the
- 16:30Speaker 1: email from Miriam. She says, my husband works with a
- 16:32Speaker 1: woman who has made it very clear she has a
- 16:34Speaker 1: crush on him. It's weird. She compliments him constantly and
- 16:37Speaker 1: even told me how lucky I am. When we met
- 16:40Speaker 1: at the holiday party. That's really strange. When another woman
- 16:44Speaker 1: tells you how lucky you are to have your man,
- 16:46Speaker 1: I'd be like, that is a red flag. The other day,
- 16:50Speaker 1: she says she was driving home and she says, I
- 16:52Speaker 1: saw her driving away from our house. I know it
- 16:55Speaker 1: was her. She doesn't live anywhere near us. Let's grab
- 16:58Speaker 1: Miriam here, so you know it was her driving away
- 17:01Speaker 1: from your house. Did you ask your husband why she
- 17:05Speaker 1: was there?
- 17:07Speaker 9: Yes?
- 17:07Speaker 7: I I asked him, well, I made eye contact with her, so.
- 17:13Speaker 11: When I got home, was she there?
- 17:16Speaker 7: He just denied it. He just denied, denied, denied.
- 17:19Speaker 1: If you saw her physically, how could he deny it?
- 17:22Speaker 7: I don't know. He just he says. He says he
- 17:25Speaker 7: needs to I mean, I've told him that he needs
- 17:27Speaker 7: to tell her to knock it off. He needs to
- 17:29Speaker 7: go to HR. He needs to do something. But he
- 17:31Speaker 7: doesn't like to make waves, so I don't know what
- 17:34Speaker 7: to do. I know he's lying to me. That's why
- 17:36Speaker 7: I emailed you.
- 17:37Speaker 9: Guys.
- 17:38Speaker 1: Well, we're going to get into it next. And when
- 17:40Speaker 1: another woman tells you that you're lucky to have your man,
- 17:46Speaker 1: what's that sound you make?
- 17:47Speaker 4: Tanya?
- 17:51Speaker 3: No, you like.
- 17:58Speaker 1: That. We're in the wrong cage at the zoo. Coming
- 18:03Speaker 1: up next. We will make the call to him and
- 18:05Speaker 1: find out why she was there. It's kiss FM, It's
- 18:12Speaker 1: kiss time for the Ryan's Roses call. We met Miriam
- 18:15Speaker 1: and she said her husband works with a woman who's
- 18:18Speaker 1: made it very clear she's got a crush on him.
- 18:20Speaker 1: Then she thinks she saw her leaving the house while
- 18:23Speaker 1: she was away. She asked her husband about it. He
- 18:25Speaker 1: denied it. He's lying. This woman has a crush was
- 18:30Speaker 1: at their house. She wants to know what's going on, Miriam?
- 18:33Speaker 1: What is this woman at work? What is her name?
- 18:37Speaker 1: Her name is Shelley, Shelley, it's her name. I will
- 18:40Speaker 1: write it down. So we want to find out. We're
- 18:42Speaker 1: gonna call right now an offer your husband romantic roses.
- 18:45Speaker 1: Who's gonna send them to at the top of mind?
- 18:47Speaker 1: Is it going to be you? Is it Shelley? What
- 18:49Speaker 1: is going on? I need you to say, Ryan, you
- 18:52Speaker 1: have my permission to call, and then your husband's.
- 18:54Speaker 7: Name, Brian, you have my permission to call it.
- 19:00Speaker 1: We'll do that right now. Be very quiet, good luck.
- 19:02Speaker 1: Here we go listening.
- 19:14Speaker 3: Hello, Hi, can I sik to Jake? Please?
- 19:17Speaker 11: This is hi.
- 19:18Speaker 4: Hi, my name is Ariana. I'm calling from Flowers on
- 19:21Speaker 4: nord Off. How are you doing this morning?
- 19:25Speaker 11: I'm fine.
- 19:26Speaker 1: Great.
- 19:26Speaker 4: You know, we deliver here locally and surrounding areas, and
- 19:28Speaker 4: we're offering a free promotion. It's a free dozen red
- 19:31Speaker 4: roses that you can send to anybody that you'd.
- 19:33Speaker 11: Like, like red roses, romantic red roses.
- 19:38Speaker 4: They're gorgeous and you can send them to anybody. I
- 19:40Speaker 4: don't need cash from you. I don't need billing info
- 19:43Speaker 4: or anything like that. It's not a subscription. We just
- 19:45Speaker 4: ask if you like our arrangements, you come back as
- 19:47Speaker 4: a customer one day.
- 19:49Speaker 11: I mean, yeah, the middle of the summers. Why would
- 19:53Speaker 11: if Valentine's there?
- 19:55Speaker 4: And no, But that's the thing, Like, you could make
- 19:57Speaker 4: somebody so happy by just sending them these roses. And
- 20:00Speaker 4: we just need the name of the person. We can
- 20:02Speaker 4: write a note. I can have them out by lunchtime today. Again,
- 20:04Speaker 4: they're free. I don't need anything from you. You're not
- 20:06Speaker 4: signing up for anything.
- 20:08Speaker 11: Uh huh, I guess that would work great.
- 20:15Speaker 3: What's their name?
- 20:17Speaker 11: Miriam?
- 20:18Speaker 3: Great? And what would you like to put on the
- 20:21Speaker 3: card for Miriam?
- 20:23Speaker 11: Oh? I would say Stanta Barbara this weekend question Mark.
- 20:29Speaker 1: Oh that's cute, Jake. Hi, your voice is being broadcast
- 20:33Speaker 1: on the radio here, it's Kiss FM. I want to
- 20:36Speaker 1: ask you. I've got your wife, Miriam on the line,
- 20:38Speaker 1: but I want to ask you why she's concerned. She
- 20:42Speaker 1: asked us to call you, and she, Jake, is worried
- 20:46Speaker 1: that you might be having an affair with someone at work.
- 20:48Speaker 1: Do you know why she might feel this way? Is
- 20:50Speaker 1: there anything that comes to mind?
- 20:54Speaker 11: No, I actually just booked us a hotel. I just
- 20:57Speaker 11: haven't told her yet.
- 21:00Speaker 1: But why is she concerned about you and Shelley at work?
- 21:03Speaker 1: She thinks that there's something going on. She actually believes
- 21:06Speaker 1: she saw her at the house, your home while she
- 21:08Speaker 1: was away. What was that all about?
- 21:13Speaker 11: I'm not I'm not sure what's happening, Jake.
- 21:15Speaker 7: What was I supposed to do? I'm sorry, I know
- 21:17Speaker 7: she was out of her house. I didn't know what
- 21:19Speaker 7: else to do besides.
- 21:20Speaker 9: Called the radio.
- 21:21Speaker 1: So are you cheating on your wife with Shelley? Just
- 21:24Speaker 1: please get us to this conclusion. Are you or are
- 21:26Speaker 1: you not?
- 21:28Speaker 11: Uh? I don't I don't know what you're talking about.
- 21:31Speaker 1: Honestly, Miriam, do you believe him.
- 21:35Speaker 7: No, I know she stopped by.
- 21:37Speaker 1: I know she stopped by when she come to your home.
- 21:42Speaker 11: I mean she stopped by, and I should have told you,
- 21:47Speaker 11: I guess, but I sent her, Babe. I want nothing
- 21:51Speaker 11: to do with Shelley, I promise you. But like she
- 21:54Speaker 11: has a crush on me or whatever. But like you know,
- 21:58Speaker 11: she just brought over a binder that I need it.
- 22:00Speaker 11: It's not like it's not a thing. It's not what
- 22:02Speaker 11: you're making Okay.
- 22:04Speaker 7: I know I wasn't crazy. I knew I wasn't crazy.
- 22:07Speaker 7: Or you lied to me.
- 22:08Speaker 9: You've been lying, denied it.
- 22:10Speaker 1: You said she has a crush on you. Your wife
- 22:13Speaker 1: is uncomfortable with that. Your wife clearly doesn't have the
- 22:18Speaker 1: trust she needs in you, and she's concerned. So something
- 22:21Speaker 1: there is a void here in this relationship. We're gonna
- 22:24Speaker 1: let you both go. I don't know if he's cheating
- 22:25Speaker 1: or not marry him, but you've got more information than
- 22:29Speaker 1: when you started, and I wish you guys the best
- 22:31Speaker 1: of luck. We'll see where this goes. Disney, Tanya, that's
- 22:33Speaker 1: Ryan's roses. Do you believe him?
- 22:34Speaker 3: I do not believe him. Negative?
- 22:38Speaker 1: Yeah, unless they sure I do either lied about her
- 22:41Speaker 1: being there. I mean, that's the problem. It's Kiss FM
- 22:45Speaker 1: on air with Ryan Seacrest, Taylor Swift on Kiss FM.
- 22:51Speaker 1: I knew it. I knew you. Oh there's a Disney
- 22:54Speaker 1: soundtrack track right there, right Seacrest here, And I don't
- 22:59Speaker 1: know anybody that doesn't just want to run up to
- 23:01Speaker 1: him and say thank you or I love you and
- 23:04Speaker 1: all the nice things.
- 23:06Speaker 12: You know.
- 23:07Speaker 1: It's Dwayne the Rock Johnson is here, Dwayne Johns. Let's
- 23:09Speaker 1: just call him Dwayne Johnson.
- 23:10Speaker 12: Welcome is hey, Thank you, fam. I appreciate you having
- 23:15Speaker 12: me in on.
- 23:16Speaker 1: I saw you on Sunday as we did the d
- 23:20Speaker 1: twenty three Legend Award. Congratulations on that.
- 23:24Speaker 12: Thank you brother. It was great to see you too.
- 23:25Speaker 12: It's been a minute. But what a night, what a
- 23:27Speaker 12: special night. I was so moved by that night. You know,
- 23:30Speaker 12: you go into those things as you know, you're prepared,
- 23:34Speaker 12: and you think you have an idea of what it is,
- 23:36Speaker 12: and I thought I did so when I got there
- 23:38Speaker 12: and you feel that crowd, and you feel that kind
- 23:42Speaker 12: of love in the room and that kind of mana
- 23:44Speaker 12: spirit in the room, and it just really just took
- 23:48Speaker 12: me over.
- 23:48Speaker 1: But you had such a remarkable acceptance speech, and it's
- 23:53Speaker 1: really a philosophy. I subscribe to it. I like it.
- 23:56Speaker 1: I believe in it, you know. And when I don't
- 23:58Speaker 1: hit it on the mark, every day I think about
- 23:59Speaker 1: what you said. Let me play some of that back.
- 24:01Speaker 1: I mean, here's a guy Cisani and Tanya that has
- 24:04Speaker 1: worked super hard, that has had tremendous success, but has
- 24:08Speaker 1: remained this kind human being. And I say that like
- 24:12Speaker 1: that shouldn't be some great achievement. We should always be
- 24:15Speaker 1: kind human beings no matter what's going on. But listen
- 24:17Speaker 1: to what he said, and everybody in the Honda Center
- 24:21Speaker 1: was focused and listening to these words.
- 24:24Speaker 12: Trends will come and go, and algorithms will do what
- 24:27Speaker 12: they do, but being kind and being good to people.
- 24:31Speaker 12: And I heard this quote when I was fifteen, and
- 24:33Speaker 12: I'll never forget it is it's nice to be important,
- 24:38Speaker 12: but it's more important to be nice.
- 24:40Speaker 6: I mean that from my heart.
- 24:42Speaker 1: Wow, it's true, it's true. And just by doing that
- 24:45Speaker 1: and living that way, you feel better about yourself. People
- 24:47Speaker 1: feel better about themselves. Tell me, how is it that
- 24:50Speaker 1: you subscribe to that day in and day out.
- 24:53Speaker 6: Well, I heard that quote.
- 24:54Speaker 12: When I was fifteen, and I you know, at fifteen,
- 24:58Speaker 12: I was still getting arrested and in trouble. I just
- 25:01Speaker 12: I do remember that feeling of wow, if I am
- 25:05Speaker 12: important one day, and whatever that means, it's just reminder
- 25:10Speaker 12: to be nice and kind. And then as you get
- 25:12Speaker 12: older and you roll down the road of life, as
- 25:15Speaker 12: we know, man, the algorithm will do what it does,
- 25:19Speaker 12: meaning like the algorithms these days, as we know, will
- 25:22Speaker 12: amplify the outrage and the division and the noise. So
- 25:27Speaker 12: the challenge for us is to maintain that thing that
- 25:32Speaker 12: we have, that anchoring integrity that we have, and try
- 25:35Speaker 12: to try our best to block out the noise. And also,
- 25:39Speaker 12: in addition to blocking out the noise, try our best
- 25:41Speaker 12: to treat people good and treat people kindly, because that
- 25:46Speaker 12: kind of stuff matters.
- 25:47Speaker 6: And I feel like.
- 25:49Speaker 12: Today, whether it's our younger generation and our young folks
- 25:54Speaker 12: out there, or even just us as not young folks
- 25:57Speaker 12: or me the age of Toronto source, you still have
- 26:01Speaker 12: to that idea of treating people good and being kind
- 26:05Speaker 12: to them.
- 26:05Speaker 6: That's the kind of stuff that never goes out of style.
- 26:08Speaker 1: But what's interesting, what strikes me here is that you
- 26:10Speaker 1: said you weren't always that way. You got into trouble
- 26:12Speaker 1: growing up. You've been through some rough stuff growing up,
- 26:16Speaker 1: so it wasn't always that philosophy, and also discipline. You
- 26:20Speaker 1: weren't always so disciplined either. Now you seem very disciplined.
- 26:23Speaker 1: You work hard. I'm curious to know about the blessings
- 26:27Speaker 1: and the curse of discipline, because it can be fantastic
- 26:31Speaker 1: for a lot of things, but I also think it
- 26:33Speaker 1: can be sometimes it's a curse when you're over disciplined.
- 26:38Speaker 6: Yeah, that's a great question.
- 26:40Speaker 12: So what I've learned over the years is there is
- 26:43Speaker 12: really really true value in being disciplined, and there's discipline
- 26:48Speaker 12: and then the devotion to being disciplined about something and
- 26:51Speaker 12: when you're and a lot of times it's happened to
- 26:53Speaker 12: me too. I know what you're saying, we can be
- 26:55Speaker 12: a little bit over disciplined, where kind of has this
- 27:01Speaker 12: counter reaction to what we want and what I have
- 27:04Speaker 12: found And you tell me if you've experienced this, or
- 27:07Speaker 12: the fan here at the radio station has experienced this,
- 27:10Speaker 12: is that when a lot of times, when you're so
- 27:14Speaker 12: super focused and disciplined about something, you can sometimes unbeknownst
- 27:21Speaker 12: to it happening, you lose focus in sight on the
- 27:25Speaker 12: stuff that not only is equally important in life, but
- 27:28Speaker 12: then you realize, oh, that's the stuff that really matters. So,
- 27:31Speaker 12: for example, it's happened to me in the past where
- 27:33Speaker 12: I would be so devoted to the discipline and the
- 27:36Speaker 12: thing and think I must put in the work from
- 27:42Speaker 12: sun up to sundown, and then all of a sudden
- 27:44Speaker 12: you realize, a couple of years later, you know the
- 27:47Speaker 12: things that are really the most important things are the
- 27:50Speaker 12: things that are right in front of you, and that's
- 27:51Speaker 12: family and your babies as they're growing up. And before
- 27:55Speaker 12: you know it, you look up and you're like, oh, man,
- 27:57Speaker 12: I just missed a couple of years because I was
- 27:59Speaker 12: so disciplined trying to chase the thing you want to chase.
- 28:04Speaker 6: So you're right.
- 28:05Speaker 12: I think the discipline is a good thing and you
- 28:09Speaker 12: have to be devoted to it, but also be devoted
- 28:12Speaker 12: to being as present as you possibly can in the
- 28:14Speaker 12: moment with your family, your loved ones, your friends, the
- 28:17Speaker 12: things that matter to as well. So it's that active
- 28:20Speaker 12: balance that you that I've tried to maintain.
- 28:23Speaker 1: Dwayne Johnson with us. Let's take a quick break. We're
- 28:25Speaker 1: coming back. Got to talk about Molwana voices Across the
- 28:28Speaker 1: Ocean and a little album that in his wife put
- 28:31Speaker 1: out too. I was checking out so many these tracks
- 28:33Speaker 1: coming up next to kiss FM, Ah, Kiss FM. Listen
- 28:37Speaker 1: to this.
- 28:38Speaker 13: You go move those mountains, sail across the oceans, coshure
- 28:47Speaker 13: the world. There's nothing you can't do, Obrey while your sleep, watch.
- 28:57Speaker 14: You, while your dream man, you understand just how proud
- 29:08Speaker 14: to be your day.
- 29:14Speaker 6: The deeper than.
- 29:16Speaker 1: I never kind of feel good? Don't you feel good?
- 29:20Speaker 9: Now?
- 29:20Speaker 1: Don't you feel like evering a better day? That's Dwayne
- 29:22Speaker 1: Johnson there singing. The album is Voices across the Ocean,
- 29:27Speaker 1: obviously inspired by Mowana. So tell me about this? I
- 29:30Speaker 1: see em. Tunkey was involved as well in this win.
- 29:34Speaker 12: He was, yeah, and I'm so happy and you know, Iam,
- 29:37Speaker 12: you know, I'm so happy to talk about this album
- 29:39Speaker 12: because you know the idea of this album my wife
- 29:44Speaker 12: and I was actually her idea.
- 29:45Speaker 6: Lauren, and she comes from a musical background.
- 29:47Speaker 12: She's amazing writer and singer, and she a couple of
- 29:51Speaker 12: years ago, about god years ago, I think the first
- 29:53Speaker 12: Malana she thought, oh this what if you guys did
- 29:57Speaker 12: an adjacent album that was inspired by i uh Miwana
- 30:02Speaker 12: and the Maana came and then we started thinking about
- 30:04Speaker 12: it for Mawana too, and then we realized, Hey, the
- 30:08Speaker 12: best opportunity here is let's create this album that's an
- 30:12Speaker 12: inspired by album and deliver it over the summer. Now
- 30:17Speaker 12: after live Action, Miwana has come out, and you know, guys,
- 30:23Speaker 12: what I love about this album is that the whole
- 30:27Speaker 12: idea behind this was just to create opportunities for artists
- 30:31Speaker 12: in the Polynesian genre of music. So we all thought, hey,
- 30:36Speaker 12: maybe there's an opportunity for me to sing on this
- 30:39Speaker 12: album as well.
- 30:39Speaker 6: And I said, Okay, let me think about it.
- 30:41Speaker 12: So I called Iam Tongy and you guys will appreciate
- 30:46Speaker 12: the story. So I called Iam and I said, hey, brother,
- 30:49Speaker 12: do you have anything in mind you think may work
- 30:52Speaker 12: for me. My pen Game is a writer. I'm still learning,
- 30:55Speaker 12: but he's an amazing writer. And he said, he said,
- 30:59Speaker 12: I I think I do. So he hit me back
- 31:01Speaker 12: a couple of days later, and guys, he sent me
- 31:03Speaker 12: this song. He sent me a song. The song I
- 31:07Speaker 12: sing with him is called your Dad.
- 31:10Speaker 6: Now. He sent me a song.
- 31:13Speaker 12: And the name of the song was my Dad and
- 31:18Speaker 12: I listened to it. It's so emotional and so beautiful
- 31:22Speaker 12: and I called him, and what the song is the
- 31:24Speaker 12: song was. The original song was Iam singing to his
- 31:28Speaker 12: little kids, who he's gonna have one day because he's
- 31:30Speaker 12: getting married in a couple of months. And it was
- 31:33Speaker 12: a song that he's singing to his little kids about
- 31:35Speaker 12: his dad, like my dad, who is now in heaven,
- 31:38Speaker 12: and he's telling his kids, Hey, you know, your grandfather
- 31:43Speaker 12: was this amazing man and he did great things even
- 31:48Speaker 12: though he's not here and you don't know him. And
- 31:50Speaker 12: then the song then transitions to Iam singing to his
- 31:53Speaker 12: dad in heaven saying, hey, Dad, I got you. I'm
- 31:58Speaker 12: gonna tell them you move mountain and you did great things.
- 32:02Speaker 12: I have chills now, and so I called im and
- 32:04Speaker 12: I said, I love you. I am not prepared to
- 32:07Speaker 12: sing this to my dad. I said, even though he's
- 32:10Speaker 12: in heaven and I love him. We had a complicated
- 32:14Speaker 12: relationship and I can't do it. You got to sing
- 32:18Speaker 12: from your heart. And I said, but if you're willing
- 32:21Speaker 12: to go down this road with me, Iam, can we
- 32:23Speaker 12: rewrite this? And I think I could sing it to
- 32:25Speaker 12: my daughters and call it your dad. And so this
- 32:31Speaker 12: song with the early intention of just hey, I'd love
- 32:35Speaker 12: to join everybody on this album. What an honor really
- 32:37Speaker 12: turned into the most meaningful thing to me because it's
- 32:41Speaker 12: not connected with you know, a box office opening.
- 32:46Speaker 1: Or but it's its own beast.
- 32:49Speaker 12: It's its own beast, and it's just me singing to
- 32:52Speaker 12: my daughters. And I am a lucky one to be
- 32:55Speaker 12: on this album. But there's so many beautiful songs on

- 33:47Speaker 12: best you can and take care of the folks around you.
- 33:49Speaker 12: But what's the alternative to that is? You know, it's is.

- 35:52Speaker 1: Yeah, concerts and festivals got so boring. I wanted to

- 36:18Speaker 15: I think it's somebody who is wrongfully terminated from a job.

- 36:41Speaker 1: Linney Seacrest here. So Daisy's on the phone. And Daisy,
- 36:46Speaker 1: you say your niece entrusted you with goldfish sitting and
- 36:51Speaker 1: the goldfish passed away on your watch. How tragic? How
- 36:55Speaker 1: long were you watching the goldfish?
- 36:58Speaker 16: Even a couple of days?
- 37:00Speaker 1: Well, how did the goldfish die in your care?
- 37:04Speaker 16: I don't think that I killed it? Well, I respond
- 37:08Speaker 16: would to go over once aday and feed it, And
- 37:12Speaker 16: I went yesterday and it was not a lot.
- 37:16Speaker 1: Okay? Was it flooding at the top of the bowl. Yeah,
- 37:22Speaker 1: How did you tell your niece?
- 37:25Speaker 16: Well, that's why I was calling. I haven't told them.
- 37:30Speaker 16: I don't know if I should call my sister and
- 37:33Speaker 16: make her have this death talk with her daughter.
- 37:36Speaker 1: I how long has your goldfish been in your niece's
- 37:40Speaker 1: possession or family?
- 37:44Speaker 8: Oh?
- 37:44Speaker 16: I don't think very long.
- 37:45Speaker 1: Maybe I just want I don't wanted to bear of
- 37:47Speaker 1: making it worse here. However, I'm going to have to
- 37:50Speaker 1: tell you a few things. If a goldfish is working
- 37:53Speaker 1: out and fit, they can live twenty plus years just
- 37:56Speaker 1: on average, even and not healthy goldfish lives about fifteen years.
- 38:01Speaker 1: So to have it die on your watch is major. Daisy,
- 38:07Speaker 1: I did not know that.
- 38:09Speaker 16: I've had goldfish when I was a kid and made
- 38:11Speaker 16: us die after a four or five days.
- 38:13Speaker 3: Don't make her feel bad. Why can't you just replace
- 38:16Speaker 3: the goldfish?
- 38:16Speaker 1: Guys, Yeah, you find an orange, another orange one, you
- 38:20Speaker 1: go to Pecko, they're all.
- 38:21Speaker 16: There right like, she won't know the difference.
- 38:24Speaker 1: We'll streak down, Daisy, I don't know. I believe in
- 38:28Speaker 1: telling the truth. You need to be honest about it.
- 38:30Speaker 1: But this is a real bad is not is not pretty?
- 38:33Speaker 1: I mean, I know I have a niece, I know
- 38:34Speaker 1: how much she loves everything and how heartbroken she would be.
- 38:38Speaker 4: You're honest, but then you say, look, I also bought
- 38:41Speaker 4: you a new one. Or take her to the store
- 38:43Speaker 4: and she can pick out a new goldfish, and it's
- 38:45Speaker 4: like a whole news Tortoise.
- 38:48Speaker 1: Tortoises live to be one hundred.
- 38:49Speaker 3: Oh, that will outlive all of us.
- 38:52Speaker 1: Gerbils don't do a Gerbil. They don't live long, but
- 38:56Speaker 1: tortise tortoises, they live a long time. Daisy, this is
- 38:59Speaker 1: on you. We cannot save you from this. There's a
- 39:01Speaker 1: lot of crises we can say, but this is on you.
- 39:04Speaker 1: Good luck. She's like, thanks for I would not want
- 39:10Speaker 1: to tell you, well, I would not want to tell
- 39:11Speaker 1: my niece, but I have to be honest. It's one
- 39:14Speaker 1: of two point seven KISSFM that is going to do
