- 0:00Speaker 1: Hey, welcome back to the Edge. I am your host, Michaeh. Parsiers.
- 0:03Speaker 1: This episode is brought to you by the Pit. Watch
- 0:06Speaker 1: new episodes Thursday at nine pm on Max. Drop any
- 0:10Speaker 1: questions or comments in the chat. I know it's gonna
- 0:13Speaker 1: be hectic, honestly due to this coaching change. And it's
- 0:18Speaker 1: very very interesting. Man, obviously very sad because the relationships,
- 0:22Speaker 1: you know, we had with coach McCarthy and everything he's
- 0:24Speaker 1: done for a program, three straight twelve and five seasons,
- 0:28Speaker 1: playoff appearances, and obviously an unfortunate year due to injuries
- 0:33Speaker 1: and things like that. But it is devastating. You know.
- 0:36Speaker 1: Coach Mike's a great father coach, one of the most
- 0:39Speaker 1: winningest coaches, and you know, he's always been good to
- 0:42Speaker 1: us as a unit, us to the coaches players, So,
- 0:46Speaker 1: you know, losing a great coach like Mike hurtz. But
- 0:50Speaker 1: it's gonna be very interesting off seasons. You know, it's
- 0:53Speaker 1: gonna be very interesting, you know, due to the free agents,
- 0:57Speaker 1: the coaching. It's like, you know, it's going to be
- 0:59Speaker 1: a complete reset. So it's going to be a very
- 1:02Speaker 1: interesting and challenging all season. But listen, I already know
- 1:07Speaker 1: I trust my owner, I trust our GM, I trust
- 1:09Speaker 1: Will Maclay that we're gonna make the right decisions. We're
- 1:12Speaker 1: gonna make the right decision when it comes to coaching.
- 1:16Speaker 1: We don't know, we don't know who's getting what. It's
- 1:18Speaker 1: been a lot of speculations former players mentioned like Prime
- 1:22Speaker 1: Time with and but at the end of the day,
- 1:26Speaker 1: you know, speculation, speculation. We're gonna wait to see who
- 1:29Speaker 1: gets hired, who's going to be our d C or
- 1:31Speaker 1: OC because it's going to be a complete reset, so
- 1:34Speaker 1: it's gonna be very interesting. And then seeing how those
- 1:37Speaker 1: guys envision players and who they want to bring in,
- 1:40Speaker 1: who they want to keep, who they want to build around.
- 1:43Speaker 1: So it will be very interesting because you know, through
- 1:47Speaker 1: this time now you know, you know there's certain players
- 1:50Speaker 1: that you know, our staff like that they would have
- 1:52Speaker 1: want to bring back, and they might not bring back. So, uh,
- 1:55Speaker 1: it's going to be challenging. You know, these guys might
- 1:58Speaker 1: have a different idea how they want to build a
- 1:59Speaker 1: defense to the offense. So uh, you know, there's no
- 2:03Speaker 1: security in this league, you know, And and that's the
- 2:06Speaker 1: dangerous part of the NFL. Uh, there's there's always most
- 2:09Speaker 1: likely in most cases besides Tomlin Shanahan's, uh, the mcveigh's,
- 2:14Speaker 1: there's not really a lot of coaching changes. But when
- 2:17Speaker 1: you're in them programs and uh, those coaches draft you
- 2:19Speaker 1: and they have idea where they want you to fit
- 2:21Speaker 1: and how they want you to play in and when
- 2:23Speaker 1: they're all out, it's kind of like your so ol
- 2:25Speaker 1: you know what I mean. And I've seen that happen
- 2:27Speaker 1: to guys who I've been with. Uh, you know, you've
- 2:29Speaker 1: seen a bunch of guys Q guys travel with him.
- 2:32Speaker 1: So I can't imagine a bunch of guys is gonna
- 2:36Speaker 1: follow McCarthy and you know, you know when they come
- 2:39Speaker 1: to our defense, we don't know, but they might follow
- 2:43Speaker 1: and go at the places. So it will be very
- 2:45Speaker 1: very interesting and it's gonna be challenging. But listen, as
- 2:50Speaker 1: you know, one of the leaders of this team, I'm
- 2:51Speaker 1: gonna be looking forward to accept all challenges and embrace
- 2:54Speaker 1: whatever comes to help my team lead to a championship.
- 2:57Speaker 1: At the end of the day, you know, we got
- 2:59Speaker 1: to move on. We can and think in the past.
- 3:01Speaker 1: We got to move on, and you know, you know,
- 3:07Speaker 1: and it is gonna be sad understanding that you're gonna
- 3:09Speaker 1: miss some of your players, you know, and I'm definitely
- 3:11Speaker 1: gonna be sad because you got to pray and hope
- 3:15Speaker 1: to envision that they have the same ideas of who
- 3:17Speaker 1: you want to bear around, and you know, hopefully I'm
- 3:19Speaker 1: brought up into those conversations about you know, who I
- 3:23Speaker 1: would like to play with, bring around, you know, I
- 3:26Speaker 1: hope I get that, you know, level of treatment and
- 3:29Speaker 1: you know, obviously meet with this new DC and bring
- 3:32Speaker 1: into this conversation how they want to use me. Am
- 3:34Speaker 1: I gonna use this chess piece or just a you know,
- 3:37Speaker 1: left side defensive end. You know, we don't know. But
- 3:40Speaker 1: those are a lot of questions, a lot of things
- 3:41Speaker 1: be answered. It's a lot of things in the air.
- 3:44Speaker 1: And obviously, as players, it don't make us feel good
- 3:46Speaker 1: all the time because you know, you want to the
- 3:50Speaker 1: person's gonna best fit for your future and how they're
- 3:53Speaker 1: gonna see you in your future. And that's the challenging
- 3:55Speaker 1: part about being in entertainment is you know, you don't
- 3:58Speaker 1: get that all the time. You don't get all your
- 3:59Speaker 1: wish you know what I mean. So I just gotta
- 4:03Speaker 1: sit back and pray and work as hard as I
- 4:05Speaker 1: possibly can. And you know a lot of people say
- 4:10Speaker 1: about holding trophy, holding trophy up there, I honestly don't
- 4:13Speaker 1: think there's no setbacks. There's no setbacks. I think some
- 4:16Speaker 1: of the greatest players learned to its right, you learn
- 4:19Speaker 1: to a just to people around you, learning it just
- 4:22Speaker 1: to new coaching. But you know, at the end of day,
- 4:25Speaker 1: coach is comeing to do so much players. We gotta
- 4:27Speaker 1: build a winning culture. You know, we gotta build a
- 4:29Speaker 1: winner culture. So there there is no setback right there.
- 4:35Speaker 1: And you know, I say we're holding the trophy just
- 4:37Speaker 1: because I believe in our guys. You know, when you
- 4:39Speaker 1: got you know, Ceedee, Lamb, you got you know Dad,
- 4:42Speaker 1: you got myself, And you know there's a bunch of
- 4:46Speaker 1: other guys that I'm not mentioned. That second year guys
- 4:48Speaker 1: is gonna make huge jumps, uh dB Trayvon Uh you know,
- 4:52Speaker 1: demons gonna come back when you got a bunch of
- 4:54Speaker 1: guys that you know is going to come back and
- 4:56Speaker 1: put in full effort and help change the trajectory of
- 4:58Speaker 1: this team. Got a hundred polief in that, you know,
- 5:01Speaker 1: and hopefully we bring in guys it's gonna help build
- 5:03Speaker 1: the culture and things even more so, you know Charlie
- 5:07Speaker 1: Haters is whatever, But you know, we're going to keep
- 5:09Speaker 1: handling business and play good football. That's all I know
- 5:12Speaker 1: how to do. But it's gonna be interesting. Let's get
- 5:16Speaker 1: into the playoffs. The n's See show shows out. Both
- 5:19Speaker 1: Eagles and Commanders showed up in this weekend. And I
- 5:22Speaker 1: want to give y'all a big shout to Jayden Dames.
- 5:24Speaker 1: I know I've been hyping them up, but he's the
- 5:26Speaker 1: truth when it's time to win the game and close
- 5:28Speaker 1: out the game. Honestly, besides Patrick Mahomes, there's not a
- 5:34Speaker 1: better quarterback that comes to finishing games right now in
- 5:39Speaker 1: the league. When it comes to guy to have a
- 5:41Speaker 1: moment and the game drives, just flawless, no mishaps, makes
- 5:47Speaker 1: it happen, it has to be Jayden Dames right now.
- 5:50Speaker 1: It has to be, you know, and we're talking about
- 5:52Speaker 1: my homes because what he does in the playoffs and
- 5:54Speaker 1: what he does is the super Bowl. But when it
- 5:58Speaker 1: comes to them last three four minutes in the game,
- 6:02Speaker 1: he has to be He's won. They won at least
- 6:05Speaker 1: five six games by miraculous comebacks. They almost came back
- 6:08Speaker 1: on us with that nice pass. He had to Terry McClaren,
- 6:11Speaker 1: but then turp Ice the game. But he's been unbelievable.
- 6:16Speaker 1: I would I would never bet against someone like Jenden Dames.
- 6:20Speaker 1: I told y'all how good he is. I told y'all
- 6:22Speaker 1: what he was he's capable of. And to win a
- 6:25Speaker 1: game against a good Bucks team on the road and
- 6:30Speaker 1: and in that fashion, oh man, he's unbelievable. Uh. The
- 6:35Speaker 1: the Commanders found a gym and it is It's scary.
- 6:40Speaker 1: It's scary for the league. I understand that. You know,
- 6:44Speaker 1: the Lions have a lot of success blitzing, but with
- 6:48Speaker 1: someone who can move as good as he moved, it's
- 6:53Speaker 1: gonna be a very big chance for England. Any mobile
- 6:55Speaker 1: quarterback is a great challenge. The Lions had challenges with Lamar.
- 7:00Speaker 1: It's gonna be very interesting how they affect Jayden Daniels
- 7:03Speaker 1: and get him out of his rhythm with his blitzing
- 7:06Speaker 1: and a lot of things the Lions do defensively. It's
- 7:10Speaker 1: gonna be very interesting because the way he's able to
- 7:13Speaker 1: move and the pock can escape pressure, it's it's marvelous.
- 7:17Speaker 1: So it's gonna be very interesting, very interesting to see.
- 7:20Speaker 1: It's gonna be a very good game. Uh. And then
- 7:23Speaker 1: you know, with the Rams upsetting you know, Minnesota yesterday
- 7:28Speaker 1: and seeing the Eagles team and how they played, I'm
- 7:30Speaker 1: gonna say, if that Rams team can play like they
- 7:34Speaker 1: did again in Philly, they can beat They can beat Philly,
- 7:37Speaker 1: they can beat Philly. At this point, right now, you
- 7:40Speaker 1: can say any team can be beaten. Right now, I
- 7:44Speaker 1: think the NFC is the best division, or at least
- 7:47Speaker 1: the best side in football, at least complete teams. But
- 7:52Speaker 1: I think anyone can be beaten right now without a doubt.
- 7:56Speaker 1: It's gonna be, man, it's gonna be great games. But
- 7:59Speaker 1: congres gratulations the Eagles and the Commanders for winning their
- 8:03Speaker 1: wild card roun and it just shows you how good
- 8:06Speaker 1: the NFC East is. It really does so for years
- 8:08Speaker 1: to come, the NFC East is gonna have it's gonna
- 8:11Speaker 1: be battles. It's gonna be battles for the division. I
- 8:13Speaker 1: don't think there's anyone that's ever gonna have a clean suite.
- 8:18Speaker 1: No one's gonna have a clean sweep. You gotta be
- 8:19Speaker 1: on your a game in every division battle. It's gonna
- 8:23Speaker 1: be extreamly challenges. It's gonna be good to see. But
- 8:25Speaker 1: I started off with Saquon I mean, I mean he
- 8:28Speaker 1: did it again. I mean he didn't score, but man
- 8:31Speaker 1: twenty five carries one hundred and nineteen yards. You know,
- 8:35Speaker 1: it was tough for Jordan Love. You know, I just
- 8:38Speaker 1: feel like for how many turnovers they had, they still
- 8:42Speaker 1: had a chance to win the game. Their defense showed
- 8:44Speaker 1: out starting a game off of the turnover which led
- 8:47Speaker 1: to seven. It really changed the outcome of the game.
- 8:50Speaker 1: And then losing both of your starting receivers in that game,
- 8:54Speaker 1: and already losing Christian Watson a week before, it's just
- 8:57Speaker 1: been tough blow and then they lost their left guard.
- 9:00Speaker 1: Tough blow at the tough blow for the Packers. It's
- 9:02Speaker 1: very hard to evaluate. Jordan Love couldn't get any time.
- 9:05Speaker 1: Not Eagles rush took over with the lead, and all
- 9:08Speaker 1: the holding penalties, the setbacks they made extremely challenging for
- 9:12Speaker 1: Jordan Love, someone who's when he's at his best, he's
- 9:15Speaker 1: playing on rhythm second and short, third and short not
- 9:19Speaker 1: having the force. Throws can hit any throw in the field,
- 9:22Speaker 1: but when you're in these backed up positions and you're
- 9:25Speaker 1: trying to get the ball down the field, and you know,
- 9:28Speaker 1: not a lot of players open and you know, they
- 9:31Speaker 1: can just let their rush happen. That's not the position
- 9:34Speaker 1: the Packers want to be in. They rely on good run,
- 9:36Speaker 1: game play, action blocking it up, and they play better
- 9:40Speaker 1: when they're in the league, you know. So the position
- 9:43Speaker 1: Jordan Love was in from the very beginning of the
- 9:45Speaker 1: game kind of set them off for failure, you know.
- 9:48Speaker 1: And it'll be very interesting to see how the Packers
- 9:51Speaker 1: attack free agency. Understanding that the receivers are constantly hurt,
- 9:54Speaker 1: they need to bring in more weapons. Do they attack
- 9:56Speaker 1: free agency? Do they find a way to get t
- 9:58Speaker 1: Higgins and to Green Bay. It's gonna be very interesting.
- 10:02Speaker 1: There's gonna be a lot of receivers out there that's
- 10:03Speaker 1: gonna be eligible for centsions. And do they bring help
- 10:06Speaker 1: around Jordan Love because they needed you see it in
- 10:09Speaker 1: the playoff game. Christian Watson's out so you might not
- 10:12Speaker 1: be back until middle of next year with the ACL injury.
- 10:16Speaker 1: So what do the Packers do. They obviously they got
- 10:18Speaker 1: someone in Josh Jacobs who played terrific. I thought Josh
- 10:21Speaker 1: Jacobs really showed something, never gave up, was running hard
- 10:26Speaker 1: the whole time. But they need to find ways to
- 10:29Speaker 1: bet around Jordan Love. That's the only way. That's the
- 10:31Speaker 1: future of the program that paid them two hundred million dollars.
- 10:34Speaker 1: They have to find ways to keep healthy receivers and
- 10:37Speaker 1: elite receivers around Jordan Love. So it's gonna be very
- 10:39Speaker 1: interesting and good to see. And how do they revamp
- 10:42Speaker 1: the old line play with the injuries and things like that,
- 10:46Speaker 1: because they definitely need depth at that position. I think
- 10:48Speaker 1: our defense is playing well. Uh, they played really well actually,
- 10:52Speaker 1: and they probably need to add a rusher to they
- 10:55Speaker 1: keep disrupting that pocket. But you know, for overall, you know,
- 10:59Speaker 1: I thought that was a very very good game. For
- 11:00Speaker 1: all the turnovers and stuff, you would think a Philly
- 11:03Speaker 1: team would dominate the Packers. But you know, with a
- 11:05Speaker 1: bye week, there could be some Russ miss timings and
- 11:08Speaker 1: things like that. So it's gonna be very interesting to
- 11:11Speaker 1: see what happens and at rams An Eagle's game, because
- 11:16Speaker 1: you know, obviously Jalen didn't play bad, but that's not
- 11:19Speaker 1: explosive as their offense has been all year, and uh,
- 11:23Speaker 1: you don't want to play like that against an explosive
- 11:26Speaker 1: mcvagh team. Exposed to mcvagh team, you know, you know
- 11:30Speaker 1: I said it, you never really bet against McVay. I
- 11:33Speaker 1: told you last week Minnesota is good, but you don't
- 11:35Speaker 1: bet against McVay. He finds ways to win games. And
- 11:38Speaker 1: they found ways to win last week. And that was
- 11:40Speaker 1: a terrific win. And it was honestly unbelievable to see.
- 11:45Speaker 1: It was unbelievable to see. It was a masterful performance defensively.
- 11:49Speaker 1: I mean, what eight total sacks? You know, Matthew Stafford
- 11:53Speaker 1: started the game off what eight for eight, nine for nine,
- 11:56Speaker 1: and you know, it was a master class. And you know,
- 12:00Speaker 1: they have to find ways to get Aj Brown involved.
- 12:04Speaker 1: I mean, I know we all seen it. AJ Brown
- 12:07Speaker 1: was called, you know, reading a book or whatever it
- 12:09Speaker 1: may be. We don't know the circumstances. I won't dive
- 12:12Speaker 1: into it, but you have to find ways to get
- 12:14Speaker 1: your number one receiver, the guy you paid thirty two
- 12:17Speaker 1: thirty three million dollars involved in the game. And it's
- 12:20Speaker 1: unexcusable how he only had one catch for ten yards.
- 12:23Speaker 1: You know, it's just no way that should happen. You know,
- 12:26Speaker 1: they gotta find ways to get him involved in that
- 12:28Speaker 1: game and the Eagles probably will break out. This is
- 12:31Speaker 1: a team similar to before where they played early in
- 12:34Speaker 1: the season and the Eagles got the best of them.
- 12:36Speaker 1: Do they get the best of them again? Saquon dominated
- 12:40Speaker 1: that game. Can they find ways to neutralize Saquon and
- 12:43Speaker 1: have hers beat them? You know that that's what's gonna
- 12:45Speaker 1: come down to. They have to find a way to
- 12:47Speaker 1: neutralize Saquon Barkley, And I think the Rams can have
- 12:50Speaker 1: a lot of success, you know, I think, and you
- 12:57Speaker 1: know that other team, Jaden Daniels are going down the
- 13:00Speaker 1: Detroit I hit on it earlier. Can they find ways
- 13:03Speaker 1: to shop Jenden Dames. That's gonna be the most interesting
- 13:05Speaker 1: thing so far that it's gonna be happening because I
- 13:10Speaker 1: think if the game's on the line and you got
- 13:13Speaker 1: Jayden Daniels with two minutes left and in seventeen seventeen,
- 13:18Speaker 1: can they win that game? It's gonna come down to
- 13:20Speaker 1: Jared Goff. Obviously, Jared Golf got to lift the turnovers. Jared,
- 13:23Speaker 1: you can't keep giving Jayden Daniels the ball, you know,
- 13:26Speaker 1: I think the turnovers is gonna be a crucial factor.
- 13:28Speaker 1: And can that Washington's front affect Jared Goff in the
- 13:32Speaker 1: most dominant way. They need to find a way to
- 13:35Speaker 1: affect Jared Golf to create turnovers. It's gonna be a
- 13:37Speaker 1: battle between upfront totally because they got to, honestly so
- 13:42Speaker 1: down jamiyor Gibbs. And it's gonna be an interesting matchup
- 13:46Speaker 1: because it's gonna be Louvu versus Gibbs. I think that's
- 13:48Speaker 1: gonna be the matchup to look out for. I think
- 13:51Speaker 1: Lousvu has been one of the most dominant linebackers this
- 13:53Speaker 1: year and seeing them against Gibbs, who's been the most
- 13:56Speaker 1: dominant back, I think we're starting to see what Gibbs
- 13:59Speaker 1: can be when he carries the load. I understand he's
- 14:01Speaker 1: been splitting it with Montgomery and things like that, but
- 14:04Speaker 1: Gibbs has been tearing the league up since he's been
- 14:07Speaker 1: getting a start. I mean, he might be the most.
- 14:10Speaker 1: I think him and Saquaner A and B when it
- 14:12Speaker 1: comes to breakout speed, long speed explosion, Him and Saquaner,
- 14:17Speaker 1: you know, hand in hand when it comes to you know,
- 14:19Speaker 1: when they hit a lane, they're out of there. So
- 14:21Speaker 1: it's gonna be very interesting game, you know. You know,
- 14:26Speaker 1: he's the fourth QB to ever win a road playoff
- 14:29Speaker 1: game in his rookie year, so if he wins one,
- 14:31Speaker 1: he can win another. I'm never counting out the Commanders.
- 14:34Speaker 1: But you know, I said, the Detroit's defense, I don't
- 14:38Speaker 1: know if they can hold up, but the way they
- 14:40Speaker 1: dominated Donald, you know, last week or two weeks ago,
- 14:45Speaker 1: it was a shortenary, it was a Shortdinaary. So I'm
- 14:47Speaker 1: never counted out Aaron Glenn. He showed me something. He
- 14:50Speaker 1: showed me that he is an elite coach, elite competitor,
- 14:54Speaker 1: because they found ways to eliminate Jefferson, found as to
- 14:58Speaker 1: show down Medison, and you know, that was probably one
- 15:02Speaker 1: of the most explosive, you know, front ends of receiver
- 15:06Speaker 1: corps that we see, especially with Hockinson and things like that.
- 15:09Speaker 1: McVeigh and Aaron Glenn found ways to slow him down.
- 15:12Speaker 1: So it's gonna be very very interesting to see the
- 15:14Speaker 1: matchups against Terry McClaren and things like that, because it's
- 15:18Speaker 1: gonna be a very very interesting game and you know,
- 15:22Speaker 1: and we don't want to, you know, kind of Baker.
- 15:24Speaker 1: I thought Baker showed some fight throughout this game. Hit
- 15:26Speaker 1: a nasty run. Baker really showed up. I said, we
- 15:30Speaker 1: all said, Baker's one of the hardest people to tackle.
- 15:33Speaker 1: I mean, he's so interesting. He's an elite competitor. You know,
- 15:37Speaker 1: Baker is someone that should be in the league for
- 15:38Speaker 1: a long time. I thought his time in Cleveland people
- 15:41Speaker 1: kind of counted them out. I thought Cleveland type tried
- 15:43Speaker 1: to bury him. But we kind of see the success
- 15:45Speaker 1: Baker has had since he's been in Temple with Bowles,
- 15:49Speaker 1: elite coaching, not always switching coordinators. You know, pretty good
- 15:54Speaker 1: O line play, and you know, Baker's been balling. So
- 15:58Speaker 1: it's very beautiful to see. So, you know, congratulations to
- 16:02Speaker 1: the Bucks on a great year. But uh, the Commanders
- 16:05Speaker 1: got the best of them. It's gonna be you know,
- 16:06Speaker 1: it's gonna be a great game we're gonna see in Detroit,
- 16:11Speaker 1: you know, and then you know, a blowout weekend. I
- 16:17Speaker 1: feel like a lot of teams took care of business
- 16:19Speaker 1: and we're gonna start with Lamar and that's gonna be
- 16:23Speaker 1: the game of the week to me. Of who really
- 16:26Speaker 1: is the m v P, right, I think Josh Allen
- 16:29Speaker 1: and Lamar both got like this hangar above them saying
- 16:32Speaker 1: you both have an argument to be MVP, but it's
- 16:35Speaker 1: like who can win in the biggest moment when it
- 16:39Speaker 1: really matters the most. I thought, you know, Baltimore got
- 16:42Speaker 1: the best of Bill's earlier in the season, but it's
- 16:45Speaker 1: gonna be a completely different game. Heading into this game,
- 16:50Speaker 1: It's gonna be very interesting to see. Obviously, you would think,
- 16:52Speaker 1: and we've been seeing a lot of stuff with Tomlin. Uh,
- 16:55Speaker 1: you know, people should trade for Troumlin. Other execs say
- 16:59Speaker 1: we should move on, But are you mad? Tomlin hasn't
- 17:04Speaker 1: had a losing season in his career. I think he's
- 17:07Speaker 1: one of the most beautifully gifted coaches in the NFL
- 17:11Speaker 1: when it comes to building people around him and making
- 17:14Speaker 1: them elite, making them better. I was watching The Hard
- 17:17Speaker 1: Knock Show and you know her big, you know, he
- 17:20Speaker 1: believes in him all week, talking about he needs to
- 17:23Speaker 1: go make a play, he needs to make a play.
- 17:24Speaker 1: It's gonna be him versus jus, and you're gonna make
- 17:26Speaker 1: a play when the match the most and he made
- 17:28Speaker 1: that play. He's spoken to reistance. So when you have
- 17:30Speaker 1: a coach that and Stills believe still in stills that
- 17:34Speaker 1: type of determination throughout the week and proclaims that for
- 17:38Speaker 1: your success and it happens, man, you you should never
- 17:42Speaker 1: go against that. I think Tomlin, I think the Steelers
- 17:45Speaker 1: will be delusional to move on for Tomlin. I definitely
- 17:48Speaker 1: think they need to revamp thing things. Address the old
- 17:50Speaker 1: line play, address the receiver play, and then also they
- 17:55Speaker 1: got to address the QB situation this all season. But
- 17:58Speaker 1: I think a lot of things need to be addressed
- 18:01Speaker 1: when it comes to that. And you know, I just
- 18:04Speaker 1: thought in total, Baltimore dominated them. You know, it's gonna
- 18:09Speaker 1: be hard to stop Lamar and Henry. I mean, look
- 18:13Speaker 1: at this long touchdown play. I mean, this is the
- 18:16Speaker 1: effect of Lamar and Derrick Henry. I mean, if you
- 18:20Speaker 1: show the other angle. I saw the other angle. Three
- 18:23Speaker 1: people jumped out to Lamar on a zone read because
- 18:27Speaker 1: of his impact on his legs. I believe a mic linebacker,
- 18:30Speaker 1: the safety and someone else followed Lamar on that and
- 18:34Speaker 1: created a wide gap for Derek Henry run through. Their
- 18:37Speaker 1: combination has been one of the most deadliest in the NFL.
- 18:40Speaker 1: It's been very beautiful to see, honestly, but people keep
- 18:44Speaker 1: talking about MVP Lamar, MVP Derek Henry. I honestly think
- 18:48Speaker 1: they won't be having a season without one another. You know,
- 18:52Speaker 1: I think Derek Henry takes a lot off of Lamar,
- 18:55Speaker 1: and Lamar takes a lot of Derek Henry. It's a
- 18:57Speaker 1: very calm. I think it's a very compatible relationship between them,
- 19:03Speaker 1: you know. I think they they help each other equally.
- 19:05Speaker 1: I don't think it's one one or the other, you
- 19:08Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. Because Derek Hemery was in Tennessee
- 19:10Speaker 1: and Lamar was the leading rusher of his team last year,
- 19:13Speaker 1: you know, so, I think people really don't think about that.
- 19:16Speaker 1: They're talking about anyone can do the Lamar position, but
- 19:20Speaker 1: Lamar was his leading rusher last year, you know. So
- 19:23Speaker 1: having Dereck Henry extremely helped him out a lot. I mean, honestly,
- 19:27Speaker 1: the most dangerous things now we're seeing Dereck Henry and
- 19:30Speaker 1: zone read you know, formations like you're reading either Derek
- 19:35Speaker 1: Hemery or Lamar and you really can go wrong on
- 19:38Speaker 1: either one. So, and the way they scheme it, the
- 19:41Speaker 1: way they create openings for it, is one of the
- 19:44Speaker 1: most deadly we've ever seen. So, I mean, anytime you
- 19:47Speaker 1: could rush for over two hundred yards, Lamar had eighty
- 19:50Speaker 1: one yards, Derek Henry had twenty six rushes for one
- 19:52Speaker 1: hundred and eighty six yards. If they can do that
- 19:55Speaker 1: in Buffalo on the road, it's gonna be another blowout.
- 19:58Speaker 1: They have to find a way to slow do two down.
- 20:02Speaker 1: And you know it's gonna be hard to see anyone
- 20:05Speaker 1: slow them down. You know, I think the AMC is
- 20:08Speaker 1: a very tough division when it comes to those elite
- 20:12Speaker 1: three teams Bills, Chiefs and Baltimore. But it you know,
- 20:18Speaker 1: right now, I think the Baltimore raves. The energy, they've
- 20:22Speaker 1: been having, the momentum, they haven't going to playoffs. They
- 20:26Speaker 1: are the team to beat. I think they are truly
- 20:28Speaker 1: the team to be the last four or five weeks.
- 20:31Speaker 1: They've been dominating, dominating, clicking, defensively, offensively, just in everything.
- 20:37Speaker 1: And I think Baltimore has the rush to contain Lamar.
- 20:43Speaker 1: I mean, Baltimore has the rush to contain Josh Allen.
- 20:47Speaker 1: They have it with Adafe, Olway, kylev and Noid Justin.
- 20:51Speaker 1: I mean, I mean pretty much everyone. Man. They literally
- 20:55Speaker 1: have elite rushers, elite dts, and they're gonna I think
- 21:00Speaker 1: I'm gonna take Baltimore in this this matchup. You know,
- 21:03Speaker 1: I think they they showed it earlier in the season,
- 21:06Speaker 1: but I really think that Baltimore is the team to
- 21:09Speaker 1: beat right now. They're the team to beat, and that
- 21:11Speaker 1: leads us into the Steelers. George Pickens is you know,
- 21:15Speaker 1: brutally honest about what he sees the offense next year man,
- 21:19Speaker 1: and you know, is he optimistic and he's like nah nah.
- 21:23Speaker 1: So obviously I think they do need to address this situation, uh,
- 21:27Speaker 1: because they didn't find a way to future George Pickens.
- 21:30Speaker 1: The more I see kind of how Dallas futures Ceedee
- 21:33Speaker 1: Lamb Bengals with uh, Jamar, you gotta find a way
- 21:40Speaker 1: to get your number one receiver the ball a little
- 21:42Speaker 1: bit more. You know, I understand, uh Pickens is electric,
- 21:45Speaker 1: but you have to find a way to get him
- 21:47Speaker 1: the ball, get him involved in the offense scheme. Uh.
- 21:50Speaker 1: Just a bunch of different things. But it's gonna be
- 21:52Speaker 1: very interesting. We're gonna have hell of the games this
- 21:55Speaker 1: week and then you know, we're gonna have the at
- 22:00Speaker 1: the Bill game. You know, I thought the Broncos was
- 22:03Speaker 1: gonna come out rolling. They started off with that big
- 22:06Speaker 1: drive in the first Seers start off with seven. You know,
- 22:10Speaker 1: defense was holding up, but then again the run game
- 22:13Speaker 1: kind of just took over. I mean, I thought James
- 22:16Speaker 1: Cook was on another one twenty three rushes for one
- 22:19Speaker 1: hundred and twenty yards Josh Allen. You know he was
- 22:22Speaker 1: Damnar perfect twenty for twenty six. They just got the
- 22:25Speaker 1: best of them. I just feel like the Broncos didn't
- 22:28Speaker 1: do a great job affecting Josh all in a manner
- 22:31Speaker 1: where he wasn't gonna be comfortable, which I think the
- 22:34Speaker 1: Baltimore Ravens can. But in all that just leads us
- 22:39Speaker 1: to Texans versus Chiefs. We see the goat Patty Mahomes
- 22:43Speaker 1: back in action is gonna beautiful to see. And it's
- 22:46Speaker 1: like the question is can c J. Stroud changed the narrative.
- 22:50Speaker 1: He's been in this situation before where he beat the
- 22:53Speaker 1: Browns at home after winning the division, and now he's
- 22:58Speaker 1: going back on last year he went on the roads Lamar,
- 23:00Speaker 1: but now he's going against Patrick Mahomes. Can he have
- 23:03Speaker 1: the upset of the century. This is more than just
- 23:05Speaker 1: the game, This is the legacy game for him. Can
- 23:08Speaker 1: he beat Patrick Mahomes in playoffs in his second year
- 23:12Speaker 1: in the NFL? I understand his struggles earlier in the
- 23:15Speaker 1: season middle season, but the way he played against the
- 23:18Speaker 1: Chargers defense and made plays made things happen. Can he
- 23:22Speaker 1: do that again against the Kansas City Chiefs. That is
- 23:24Speaker 1: going to be the question because he played absolutely terrific
- 23:28Speaker 1: last week, especially going into that second half. I mean,
- 23:32Speaker 1: he was just lights out. So the question is can
- 23:35Speaker 1: he slow down? Can we keep that momentum of CJ
- 23:39Speaker 1: Stroud going? Knowing what he's capable of. He looks like
- 23:43Speaker 1: he's back in Seeking, Nico console like he's back in Seek. Yes,
- 23:45Speaker 1: they dealt with injuries, but can he have that same success.
- 23:48Speaker 1: Can he go on the road and arrowhead and make
- 23:51Speaker 1: the upset of least you know, half a decade, you
- 23:54Speaker 1: know what I mean. I think a lot of people
- 23:57Speaker 1: were at CJ y'all, But I ain't gonna write out
- 23:59Speaker 1: CJ drought yet. I think he's an elite competitor. He's
- 24:02Speaker 1: a dog and he can find a way to beat
- 24:05Speaker 1: Patrick Mahomes. But then again, you say, I'm never going
- 24:08Speaker 1: to bet against Patrick Mahomes because he is probably one
- 24:11Speaker 1: of the greatest quarterbacks of this decade. You know, he's
- 24:14Speaker 1: on a two time repeat and he's looking for his third.
- 24:16Speaker 1: So I already know, off a boy, they're going to
- 24:18Speaker 1: be prepared. They got one of the greatest coaches of
- 24:20Speaker 1: our generation, Andy Reid. It's going to be a showdown
- 24:23Speaker 1: in Kansas City. I wouldn't call that one a blowout.
- 24:26Speaker 1: I think he's going to be a very competitive game,
- 24:28Speaker 1: but who knows. We're going to leave that up in
- 24:31Speaker 1: the air, you know. And then a lot of people
- 24:35Speaker 1: are getting into Justin Herbert, trying to compare him to
- 24:38Speaker 1: other quarterbacks, drag him in the dirt. But I would
- 24:42Speaker 1: say this, Justin Herbert is a very good quarterback. I
- 24:49Speaker 1: will never say I think he has ways to grow.
- 24:53Speaker 1: But I think from the position where they were last
- 24:56Speaker 1: year to how Harball came in and say, okay, the
- 25:01Speaker 1: on line is okay now, which the line was troubles,
- 25:03Speaker 1: but now they need weapons. They need to go into
- 25:05Speaker 1: this draft, whatever it is, and get them elite receiver.
- 25:10Speaker 1: I get they drafted Quentin Johnson, but he has inconsistencies
- 25:13Speaker 1: throughout this year. Lad McConkie really showed up, but they
- 25:18Speaker 1: need they need more. They need to build around Herbert.
- 25:21Speaker 1: This defense has been great, but they need to build
- 25:24Speaker 1: around Herbert. I don't think they built around Herbert, and
- 25:28Speaker 1: every way possible you can see it. I mean throughout
- 25:31Speaker 1: the whole year they just besides Lad, you know, there
- 25:36Speaker 1: wasn't a whole lot of other options out there. Guys
- 25:39Speaker 1: not get created, separation, guys just not getting open, So
- 25:44Speaker 1: they need to find ways to get Lad will get
- 25:48Speaker 1: help around Herbert and someone outside of Lad. They got
- 25:51Speaker 1: rid of Keenan Allen last year. They took Joe Allton
- 25:54Speaker 1: the draft. They had I think neighbors right there, you know,
- 26:00Speaker 1: I think they had Yeah, they had the top five
- 26:03Speaker 1: pick and they told Joe aud which I thought they
- 26:05Speaker 1: would get neighbors, but they didn't. So it's gonna be
- 26:08Speaker 1: very interesting. It's gonna be very interesting. But they were
- 26:11Speaker 1: a top five pick last year to a playoff team
- 26:15Speaker 1: and they did it through great QB play. I get
- 26:17Speaker 1: the struggles, but he also had drop passes and things
- 26:20Speaker 1: that led the turnovers. I mean, for a guy who
- 26:23Speaker 1: had three turnovers all year to having three in one game,
- 26:27Speaker 1: I'm not I get it. I get it, but you know,
- 26:29Speaker 1: a couple of those weren't his faust, mistiming, misthrows, receivers
- 26:33Speaker 1: not doing the right thing. Who knows. But I will
- 26:36Speaker 1: not write off Justin Herbert yet. I think he has
- 26:39Speaker 1: ways to go. I think the organization has ways to
- 26:41Speaker 1: go because they got to keep building around him. But
- 26:43Speaker 1: I think Justin Herbert can be a winning quarterback and
- 26:46Speaker 1: a championship quarterback. I don't think that was a mistake,
- 26:49Speaker 1: So I think for people to judge them is completely wrong.
- 26:54Speaker 1: To go from five to twelve to eleven to six
- 26:57Speaker 1: and one year is something beautiful to see in this thing,
- 27:01Speaker 1: the thing about the weapons, he's had to go for
- 27:05Speaker 1: almost four thousand yards and twenty five total TVs and
- 27:07Speaker 1: three and exceptions an exception. I would take that from
- 27:09Speaker 1: any quarterback in the year because you'll win a lot
- 27:11Speaker 1: of game football games if you don't turn the ball over.
- 27:14Speaker 1: So I would take that, Bro, I would not. I
- 27:17Speaker 1: don't think we should say justin Herbert at all. I
- 27:19Speaker 1: get playoff success makes legends, but Bro, there's a lot
- 27:24Speaker 1: of people who you know, I mean, Matthew Stafford, he's
- 27:26Speaker 1: a legend, but he didn't win Super Bowl until you know,
- 27:29Speaker 1: later on his career. I don't know exactly what year,
- 27:32Speaker 1: but not comparing, but you know, you can have a
- 27:34Speaker 1: lot of success and still not have all the pieces.
- 27:37Speaker 1: And then you know Matthew Stafford, you know he went
- 27:40Speaker 1: down to LA They had Cooper cub they had Odell
- 27:43Speaker 1: Beckham Junior. They had a lot of pieces. So It's
- 27:45Speaker 1: gonna be very interesting to see how they build around,
- 27:49Speaker 1: you know, how they build around Justin Herbert going forward,
- 27:52Speaker 1: and that leads us to, you know, Minnesota, They're gonna
- 27:55Speaker 1: have some tough decisions to make. It's kind of sad,
- 27:57Speaker 1: and I feel bad for Sam Donold because he's he's
- 28:01Speaker 1: expected to be a free agent this year. But I
- 28:03Speaker 1: felt like he had a chance these last two weeks
- 28:06Speaker 1: to make him a lot of money, because people don't
- 28:10Speaker 1: care what you do in the regular season anymore, especially
- 28:13Speaker 1: as the quarterback. You know, I hope, you know, he
- 28:16Speaker 1: does get paid and he has a lot of success,
- 28:18Speaker 1: But I hope people don't judge him for those last
- 28:21Speaker 1: two games, but judge him out progression and how well
- 28:25Speaker 1: he's played the whole entire year. I get he struggled
- 28:28Speaker 1: the last two weeks with different type of pressures and blitzes,
- 28:31Speaker 1: but I think another year in O'Connell's system he could
- 28:34Speaker 1: take another jump. I don't know if he get a
- 28:36Speaker 1: max deal, I don't know what that looks like, but
- 28:40Speaker 1: I think they need to keep JJ and Donald in Minnesota.
- 28:44Speaker 1: I think Donald's knowledge of being with Shanahan being in
- 28:48Speaker 1: New York, you know, kind of just you know, being
- 28:50Speaker 1: all over. He can give JJ a lot of knowledge.
- 28:53Speaker 1: You know, I think I think JJ can learn from him.
- 28:56Speaker 1: I think them having an offseason together, them playing together
- 28:59Speaker 1: can really turn out good because we've seen the Rogers
- 29:02Speaker 1: in Love, We've seen Rogers and Farv and you know,
- 29:06Speaker 1: we've seen situations like that. We've just seen Pinnix and Cousins.
- 29:10Speaker 1: So nowadays we're starting to see what it looks like
- 29:13Speaker 1: when a person can just learn, learn, learn, learn, And
- 29:16Speaker 1: yet we get exceptional quarterbacks like Jynon Daniels CJ. Stroud
- 29:18Speaker 1: who dominate early on without that learning curve. But I
- 29:22Speaker 1: think most players in the league need to be developed.
- 29:26Speaker 1: I think most players need that learning curve to be
- 29:28Speaker 1: developed and learn under other guys who are exceptionally well. So,
- 29:32Speaker 1: you know, I think Sam Donald should stay in Minnesota.
- 29:36Speaker 1: I think they should offer maybe a Baker Mayfield deal,
- 29:39Speaker 1: maybe a little less, but at least a chance for
- 29:41Speaker 1: him to build on what he's done this year and
- 29:44Speaker 1: the relationships he built. I think people really like him
- 29:47Speaker 1: in that building. You can see, you know, going back
- 29:49Speaker 1: a couple of weeks, how much they celebrated Sam Donald
- 29:53Speaker 1: on his assess and how well he's played this year.
- 29:55Speaker 1: I get the struggle with everyone struggles. I just think
- 29:57Speaker 1: he struggled at the wrong time of year, you know,
- 30:00Speaker 1: And that's the truth, you know. But let's get into
- 30:03Speaker 1: this segment, Defense wins Championship. Let's get to some worriors
- 30:07Speaker 1: and the trenches from this past weekend brought to you
- 30:09Speaker 1: by the Pit watched new episodes Thursday and nine PMO Max.
- 30:14Speaker 1: It wouldn't be the Edge if we didn't give some
- 30:16Speaker 1: love to the D line. I'm gonna rank my top
- 30:18Speaker 1: five defensive lineman performances from this past weekend because it
- 30:23Speaker 1: was really it was really beautiful to see. But you know,
- 30:27Speaker 1: I'm gonna start off with my guy, Nolan Smith, you know,
- 30:30Speaker 1: coming off with six and a half. I'm gonna put
- 30:33Speaker 1: him at well, we can start from five, you know,
- 30:35Speaker 1: but let's put him at number one for right now
- 30:37Speaker 1: because I think that's my number one guy. He had
- 30:39Speaker 1: six and a half sacks all year, but he found
- 30:41Speaker 1: a way to dominate in that game against the Packers.
- 30:44Speaker 1: I mean two sacks, eight tackles to TFLs. I thought
- 30:47Speaker 1: Nolan really took really took a huge jump. And you know,
- 30:51Speaker 1: let's go to number five. I'm gonna go with Will
- 30:56Speaker 1: Anderson Jr. I mean, actually, let's go with Yeah, let's
- 31:00Speaker 1: go with Will Anderson Jr. I wanted to have sacks,
- 31:03Speaker 1: three tackles, two passes defended. I mean he was just,
- 31:06Speaker 1: you know, dominating and every facet hands up. Get into
- 31:10Speaker 1: the quarterback, and it's gonna be very interesting to see
- 31:14Speaker 1: what happened with this guy, because you know how dominant
- 31:17Speaker 1: he's been in his career. And that's Khalil Mack. Two sacks,
- 31:21Speaker 1: six tackles. Uh. You know, I hope he says another year.
- 31:24Speaker 1: He's been so dominant. It's gonna be very interesting to
- 31:26Speaker 1: see what happens with him and his future. But Khalil
- 31:30Speaker 1: Mack has just always been dominant. IM gonna put him
- 31:32Speaker 1: at four. Number three, I'm going with Kobe Turner two sacks,
- 31:37Speaker 1: four tackles. I just thought he started the game off
- 31:40Speaker 1: so strong for the for the Rams. I think he
- 31:43Speaker 1: set the tone early on and he didn't look bad.
- 31:46Speaker 1: You know, I think Kobe Turner deserves that third spot
- 31:49Speaker 1: and that number one. Uh, I'm gonna just go with
- 31:53Speaker 1: I don't even notice how to say his name, right, Uh,
- 31:55Speaker 1: Nemadi mightend Bouque, two sacks for tackles, one passes defended.
- 32:01Speaker 1: I mean he's just outright dominant. I mean he's coming
- 32:03Speaker 1: off a great year. I mean, but just have that
- 32:06Speaker 1: type of game. Uh, you know, even with those outside pieces,
- 32:10Speaker 1: I mean, he was just outright dominants. Watching him take
- 32:12Speaker 1: over that game was really something beautiful to see. So
- 32:17Speaker 1: we have some great games, uh going into divisional round.
- 32:22Speaker 1: I went forward to last week. You know, I think
- 32:25Speaker 1: a surprising result was Uh. I think that Vikings game.
- 32:30Speaker 1: I thought it would be a little bit more closer.
- 32:32Speaker 1: The Rams really dominated that game. They really really dominated
- 32:37Speaker 1: that game, so that it's gonna be really something to see.
- 32:42Speaker 1: Is there a team that gives you more confidence with
- 32:44Speaker 1: them moving forward? I'm gonna say the Commanders. Uh. And
- 32:47Speaker 1: and I'm gonna say the Commanders in the Rams. I
- 32:49Speaker 1: think a lot of teams kind of them out early on,
- 32:51Speaker 1: kind of those guys who slipped in, didn't have the
- 32:55Speaker 1: greatest record, but played really good football in December, play
- 32:59Speaker 1: really really good football in December. And I think those
- 33:03Speaker 1: are two teams you should look out for. You know,
- 33:05Speaker 1: division round games, it's really hard, it's really hard, man
- 33:13Speaker 1: man man Commanders versus Lions. Man, just on the strength.
- 33:17Speaker 1: I get it. You know, I just can't bet against
- 33:20Speaker 1: Jayden Dames. I'm gonna go with Commanders. I'm gonna go
- 33:22Speaker 1: with the Commanders, man, I get it. This is a
- 33:24Speaker 1: big jump. I got Commanders winning. It is risky, but
- 33:29Speaker 1: I'm gonna take the Commanders, Rams Eagles same again. I
- 33:34Speaker 1: think it's gonna be a big upset week. Man. I'm
- 33:36Speaker 1: gonna go with the Rams. I just think the way
- 33:38Speaker 1: the Rams played last week, the way they've been playing
- 33:40Speaker 1: in December, they've just been I think they've been on
- 33:44Speaker 1: a tear. They're they're in rhythm. The Eagles dan't look
- 33:47Speaker 1: like they were in rhythm. So I'm gonna go with
- 33:50Speaker 1: the team that looks hot. I'm gonna go with the Rams. Uh, Texans, Chiefs,
- 33:53Speaker 1: I'm never I can't go against Patty Mahomes. I'm going
- 33:56Speaker 1: with Chiefs. And I'm gonna take Ravens over Bills. I'm
- 33:59Speaker 1: gonna take Ravens over Bills. Man, Ravens over Bills. So
- 34:05Speaker 1: that's my picks going into the Division around college football
- 34:08Speaker 1: playoff time. Before we get out here, let's talk about
- 34:10Speaker 1: my Nigga Lions going down to the Irish. Yeah, I
- 34:14Speaker 1: was speechless. They left me speechless. I was extremely hurt,
- 34:18Speaker 1: but I would say I was more proud because of
- 34:23Speaker 1: how well we played. But I definitely think we are
- 34:26Speaker 1: the better team. I just think we made the final mistake.
- 34:31Speaker 1: I just think in that situation, we can't turn the
- 34:33Speaker 1: ball over. We could have just played for overtime. I
- 34:37Speaker 1: think we beat them in overtime. They couldn't stop our
- 34:39Speaker 1: run game. Nick Singleton, k Tron was on one. But
- 34:45Speaker 1: I thought we were the better team, I really did.
- 34:49Speaker 1: I hate that for Coach Franklin. I hate that for
- 34:51Speaker 1: staff and everyone that puts so much into it. But
- 34:53Speaker 1: what leaves me happy is the culture that Coach Franklin's building,
- 34:58Speaker 1: and so many of those guys come back, you know,
- 35:01Speaker 1: getting all back, getting dds back, Nick and k Tron,
- 35:06Speaker 1: getting most of those guys back shows you the culture
- 35:09Speaker 1: that we're building, and it says that we're not restarting
- 35:12Speaker 1: and we can really do it. So a bunch of
- 35:15Speaker 1: these other teams are gonna lose a lot of good players.
- 35:17Speaker 1: I like that a lot. You know, we are losing
- 35:19Speaker 1: a duel, but you know, Dion Barnes is a great
- 35:21Speaker 1: defensive line coach. I think he's gonna help change this
- 35:24Speaker 1: program around and really put out some really, really good
- 35:28Speaker 1: d linemen. So I'm excited to see what we do
- 35:31Speaker 1: next year. I think it's gonna be a great year,
- 35:33Speaker 1: and I think we're gonna get back to the dance.
- 35:35Speaker 1: Let's take some final questions from the chat. Did you
- 35:38Speaker 1: apologize to CJ for picking against the Texans last week? No?
- 35:42Speaker 1: I did not. Uh he he hate defensively, the Texans
- 35:49Speaker 1: showed up, CJ showed up. I just thought it'd be
- 35:52Speaker 1: more of a fighter. I knew it would be a
- 35:53Speaker 1: close game. I just didn't know it would be so
- 35:55Speaker 1: lopsided in that fashion. Have you ever read a book
- 36:01Speaker 1: on the sideline? And if not, what book would you
- 36:05Speaker 1: read now? I've never read a book on the sideline,
- 36:09Speaker 1: But if I was reading a book, I'd be reading
- 36:10Speaker 1: the Art Award. I'll be thinking about war, mentality, how
- 36:13Speaker 1: to get ready to go and play this game, Thoughts
- 36:16Speaker 1: on Rams versus Bill, super Bowl not happening, not happening.
- 36:21Speaker 1: Who is coach of the Year, I would say, honestly,
- 36:23Speaker 1: coach of the year, Shapabi O'Connell. You telling me you
- 36:27Speaker 1: start this year off with you know no quarterback Sam
- 36:32Speaker 1: Donald don't have a lot of film, but you make
- 36:34Speaker 1: an appearance at playoffs for one of the most one
- 36:38Speaker 1: of the greater records in the NFL. I think O'Connell
- 36:42Speaker 1: should definitely get the nudge. Can you see a Ravens
- 36:45Speaker 1: Commander Super Bowl? I could, I could, I could, I
- 36:50Speaker 1: won't lie. I could see a Ravens Commander's football and
- 36:53Speaker 1: I think that would be a legacy game for both
- 36:55Speaker 1: Lamar and Jennon Daniels. That would be a very interesting game.
- 37:00Speaker 1: But this episode is brought to you by the Pit.
- 37:03Speaker 1: Watch new episodes Thursday at nine pm on Max. I
- 37:07Speaker 1: know I will starting today. I appreciate you guys, I
- 37:10Speaker 1: thank you guys, and I will see you guys soon.
- 37:13Speaker 1: But that is a wrap.
