Gadsden’s about to go wild this summer with “Slide the City” — a massive, two-day water slide event shutting down South Third Street July 25-26. Mayor Ford calls it one of the city’s most unique summer experiences, complete with 1-hour passes for $23 (kids 4-6 included), free tubes, and hours running from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on the 25th and noon to 7 p.m. on the 26th.
