- 0:51Speaker 2: I like gree today. Judge Faith the inner Judge Gino
- 0:54Speaker 2: bringing it strong, fantastic dynamic. Do just May treating you good?
- 1:01Speaker 2: Late May Memorial Day.
- 1:03Speaker 1: Here's what I will say. We got a good bit
- 1:05Speaker 1: of showers in April. And I will say flowers They're good.
- 1:11Speaker 2: They're good. Flowers are good. Good to know.
- 1:14Speaker 1: Because I think, and I don't know if those two
- 1:16Speaker 1: things are connected. Do you think the April showers somehow
- 1:19Speaker 1: brought the mayflowers?
- 1:20Speaker 2: I think maybe I've heard that there's a rumor going
- 1:23Speaker 2: around that occasionally those buy a botanical, big botanical, big botanicals,
- 1:29Speaker 2: getting them.
- 1:30Speaker 1: Big botanical rumor everybody, Uh, you want me to go first?
- 1:33Speaker 2: You want to go first?
- 1:36Speaker 1: Sip of corn heads, it's tails, I'll go first, right
- 1:40Speaker 1: Judge Faith Hazel Jackson.
- 1:43Speaker 2: Hazel Jackson is suing as Jackson.
- 1:47Speaker 3: I'm for real, never meant to kick the church tire.
- 1:51Speaker 3: I love manns. Hazel Jackson will work on it more.
- 1:56Speaker 3: Is suing Virginia Oxley.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Meet Virginia for five thousand dollars that breakdow is, three
- 2:04Speaker 1: thousand dollars for car damages, two thousand dollars for lost wages.
- 2:08Speaker 1: We're kicking a tire, not attire, kicking the car.
- 2:11Speaker 2: Okay. Hazel and Virginia are sisters, oh, sister. Sister said, they.
- 2:18Speaker 1: Used to be very close, almost inseparable. Hazel says, you know,
- 2:24Speaker 1: though we're sisters, we bicker, We do a little bicker
- 2:26Speaker 1: and every once in a while, but nothing quite like this.
- 2:30Speaker 1: So Hazel and Virginia don't go to the same church.
- 2:34Speaker 1: Hazel is one day looking for some dishes that she
- 2:39Speaker 1: needs for a pot luck. She calls her friends for
- 2:44Speaker 1: some reason things maybe the friend knows where the dishes
- 2:47Speaker 1: are I'm not sure. Her friend says that Virginia has
- 2:51Speaker 1: the dishes.
- 2:51Speaker 2: Genia's sister has a sister. Virginia has the dishes.
- 2:55Speaker 1: So uh, Hazel says, at the time, you know, I
- 3:00Speaker 1: had We hadn't been talking, me and Virginia. We had
- 3:04Speaker 1: a little bit of a disagreement. There was a disagreement
- 3:07Speaker 1: between Virginia and my husband over a car that we sold.
- 3:14Speaker 1: We don't get a lot of information about this, okay,
- 3:17Speaker 1: but some sort of argument happened around the sale of
- 3:21Speaker 1: a car. They hadn't been talking. She knows that her
- 3:25Speaker 1: sister has her dishes, and she believed that she was
- 3:30Speaker 1: keeping the dishes hostage so that she they would have
- 3:35Speaker 1: to talk. That was like her way, Like she would
- 3:37Speaker 1: never come out and be like, hey, we.
- 3:38Speaker 2: Need a fixing. She would do you think your dishes? Yeah,
- 3:41Speaker 2: that's exactly right.
- 3:42Speaker 1: That that's exactly right, that's exactly right, Virginia.
- 3:46Speaker 2: Yes.
- 3:47Speaker 1: So she goes to Virginia's church, goes inside and is
- 3:52Speaker 1: trying to get Virginia's attention so that she can get
- 3:55Speaker 1: her dishes, and Virginia's ignoring or ignoring her. Virginia leaves,
- 4:01Speaker 1: goes and gets into her car. Hazel opens up her
- 4:05Speaker 1: car door and says, hey, I need my dishes, yells
- 4:11Speaker 1: at her and slams the door as hard as possible.
- 4:14Speaker 2: Okay, okay.
- 4:16Speaker 1: So Virginia gets out of the car and hits Hazel's car,
- 4:21Speaker 1: does one of these numbers on the on the hoods,
- 4:25Speaker 1: you know, as you do. So She's like, I could
- 4:28Speaker 1: play this game too, and she gets back in her car.
- 4:32Speaker 1: Hazel says that her nephew then came and opens up
- 4:38Speaker 1: Virginia's trunk, gets the dishes from his mom and gives
- 4:42Speaker 1: it to to to Hazel. So Hazel has her dishes
- 4:46Speaker 1: and in the process of doing this, after getting this,
- 4:52Speaker 1: and she walks back by Hazel's door and.
- 4:57Speaker 2: Slams her hand on the window. Okay.
- 5:01Speaker 1: Virginia then gets out of the car and does, and
- 5:05Speaker 1: I'm quoting here, uh hiya kick.
- 5:08Speaker 2: Hiya kick, karate kick karate kick to Hazel's car.
- 5:13Speaker 1: And this specific kick is why we're here today, because,
- 5:18Speaker 1: as you can see in the pictures if you watch
- 5:21Speaker 1: this episode, this left quite the dent in the there.
- 5:28Speaker 2: Is body Damna.
- 5:32Speaker 1: So a little bit back and forth, and eventually somebody
- 5:35Speaker 1: got hurt here and by somebody.
- 5:37Speaker 2: I mean something something.
- 5:39Speaker 1: So Hazel's husband is here, uh, just kind of sitting
- 5:43Speaker 1: sitting down, and Faith calls calls him up, and it's like,
- 5:46Speaker 1: what's well, why are you here? What's going on? And uh,
- 5:49Speaker 1: He's like, I was in the car the whole time.
- 5:51Speaker 1: Of course of course he was. Yes, I wasn't do
- 5:53Speaker 1: it a lot. I didn't really helping the matter, but
- 5:56Speaker 1: I was there. And I just want to say that
- 5:59Speaker 1: I think that for g is jealous of her little sister.
- 6:03Speaker 1: Since her little sister has a successful catering company, has
- 6:07Speaker 1: a has a husband like myself. I think she's jealous,
- 6:13Speaker 1: and I think that's that's where the problem lies. The
- 6:16Speaker 1: root of it is the jealousy.
- 6:18Speaker 2: Here got it. That's all he had to say. That's
- 6:21Speaker 2: all he has to say. Matters.
- 6:22Speaker 1: So Faith asked Virginia how she feels about everything. Now,
- 6:26Speaker 1: Virginia is the older sister, Hazel's her little little sister,
- 6:29Speaker 1: and Virginia starts.
- 6:30Speaker 2: To tear up.
- 6:32Speaker 1: It is clear that she cares a lot about her sister.
- 6:35Speaker 1: She says, I love Hazel a lot. She's my blood sister,
- 6:39Speaker 1: same parents, and I hate that this has happened. I
- 6:44Speaker 1: feel embarrassed because I'm the I'm one of the leaders
- 6:47Speaker 1: at this church, and my sister comes in there, starts
- 6:51Speaker 1: starts hitting my car, yelling, and then I, I, you know,
- 6:56Speaker 1: lost lost my cool and now I got a you know,
- 7:01Speaker 1: everybody in the church that I'm a leader over and
- 7:04Speaker 1: knows my family business, yeah, knows that I kicked my
- 7:06Speaker 1: sister's car.
- 7:07Speaker 2: To the Yeah.
- 7:09Speaker 1: And I really I really didn't want to go there,
- 7:13Speaker 1: but she pushed me and here we are. So Hazel
- 7:17Speaker 1: says that, so we have the car damage, saying. She
- 7:22Speaker 1: also says that she runs a catering business. How did
- 7:24Speaker 1: that lose her wages? She runs a catering business, and
- 7:28Speaker 1: she's done some events at this church before and she
- 7:32Speaker 1: has not had any business from the church since. And
- 7:36Speaker 1: she believes that this event with her sister kicking her
- 7:39Speaker 1: car lost her business. And Judge Faith is ready to
- 7:44Speaker 1: rule once again. To remind you, five thousand dollars. Three
- 7:49Speaker 1: thousand of that is for the damaged car, two thousand
- 7:53Speaker 1: of that is for the lost weight.
- 7:54Speaker 2: I don't think you're gonna get the lost wages because
- 7:55Speaker 2: you can never unless you had a contract in place
- 7:57Speaker 2: for the church in the catering company. You're not gonna
- 7:59Speaker 2: get that. I think she is gonna get the three thousand,
- 8:02Speaker 2: not because she necessarily wants to give it to her,
- 8:04Speaker 2: because Hazel did provoke the fight. But it's damage to
- 8:07Speaker 2: a car that is like, you can't there's no way
- 8:09Speaker 2: to get around it. Everybody admits it's what happened. So
- 8:11Speaker 2: she's gonna get three k.
- 8:13Speaker 1: She's not gonna get jack squat Wow. Judge Faith says, uh, Hazel,
- 8:20Speaker 1: you provoked this. You hit her car twice? Yeah, you,
- 8:24Speaker 1: and you're lucky that it didn't cause damage to her car.
- 8:26Speaker 1: Y'all need to figure this out. But if it had,
- 8:29Speaker 1: she would have vowed right.
- 8:31Speaker 2: She's just saying that doesn't She's just saying, y'all are
- 8:34Speaker 2: y'all our sisters?
- 8:34Speaker 1: Is his family business? Figure it out. I don't know
- 8:37Speaker 1: she throws it out.
- 8:38Speaker 2: I don't know. She says, get out of here, get
- 8:39Speaker 2: out of here.
- 8:39Speaker 1: Got here now, I will say, in judge face defense,
- 8:43Speaker 1: because I understand where you're coming from.
- 8:44Speaker 2: We don't get any paperwork showing the damage of the car.
- 8:48Speaker 1: We have a picture, we don't see any any receipts
- 8:51Speaker 1: or anything like that. I don't know if any of
- 8:53Speaker 1: that was brought and it was cut from the TV.
- 8:56Speaker 2: From the TV. The TV could have been.
- 8:58Speaker 1: But h as far as we know, there was no
- 9:01Speaker 1: paperwork showing the repairs to the car. So I don't
- 9:05Speaker 1: know it entirely. Where that number. Judge fer Faith said, family,
- 9:10Speaker 1: figure it out. I do figure it out.
- 9:12Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, you're ready to go to Judge Gino's court.
- 9:14Speaker 2: I am so personal injury court. Christine Robinson is suing.
- 9:21Speaker 2: It's a low boy for this thirty five thousand past medical,
- 9:25Speaker 2: pocket change, five thousand, future medical fifty thousand, pain and
- 9:30Speaker 2: suffering ninety thousand total. All right, so I need you
- 9:34Speaker 2: to know something up front. Both Christine and Rebecca interrupt
- 9:38Speaker 2: the other and interrupt Judge Gino regularly. Judge Gino only
- 9:42Speaker 2: gets mad at Rebecca Connolly. Interesting person that like is
- 9:46Speaker 2: the defendant. And it's because when she is very like
- 9:50Speaker 2: she runs a horse farm, and she's very like uptight
- 9:53Speaker 2: and like she doesn't And the other one is Christine
- 9:56Speaker 2: is in a full like you know that thing Rob
- 9:59Speaker 2: Gronkowski war around his elbow while he played football. She's
- 10:03Speaker 2: in one of those and a sling and so there's
- 10:05Speaker 2: something all the way up to her shoulder on her
- 10:07Speaker 2: right arm. So rob The best part of this case
- 10:11Speaker 2: is the beginning where Judge Gino goes Miss Robinson, Christine Robinson,
- 10:16Speaker 2: what is it you do? And Christine says, I'm a
- 10:21Speaker 2: CPA by day and Gino, without missing a beat, goes,
- 10:24Speaker 2: what's that. Judge Gino been on the bench for ten years,
- 10:30Speaker 2: doesn't know what a CPA is, and she says it's
- 10:34Speaker 2: an account and he goes, oh, I thought that had
- 10:36Speaker 2: to do with horses, and I thought I was being punked.
- 10:41Speaker 2: But Judge Gino, in all of his years to im
- 10:43Speaker 2: personal Injury court, and.
- 10:46Speaker 1: I'll tell you what I think happened here is I
- 10:48Speaker 1: think he read information about the case beforehand, knows that
- 10:52Speaker 1: there's horses involved.
- 10:53Speaker 2: And I'm sure if he met.
- 10:55Speaker 1: Somebody out on the street and they said I'm a CPA,
- 10:58Speaker 1: he maybe I'm giving them too much.
- 11:00Speaker 2: But I think I think he didn't know what it was.
- 11:03Speaker 2: So she says. Christine goes on to say, riding is
- 11:05Speaker 2: what I picked up as my hobby about four years ago.
- 11:08Speaker 2: It's a passion about I go to at least twice
- 11:11Speaker 2: a week. It's been therapy for me. I've had a
- 11:13Speaker 2: lot going in my life and riding keeps me sane.
- 11:16Speaker 2: And she starts to tear up a little bit. How important,
- 11:18Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, So you go to Rebecca Connolly. Rebecca
- 11:20Speaker 2: has owned and operated this stable for fifteen years. There
- 11:23Speaker 2: are over twenty horses in the stable. They have an
- 11:25Speaker 2: award winning training award winning award winning Wow. And before
- 11:29Speaker 2: she can finish this awards, I don't know the horse
- 11:32Speaker 2: horse World magazine HWM. It's a horse World magazine magazine.
- 11:39Speaker 2: Christina in rupt her and goes and I'm an experienced rider.
- 11:41Speaker 2: I know how to trot, I know how to canter.
- 11:43Speaker 2: She starts listing. It was like a maybe even situation.
- 11:46Speaker 2: She starts to listening, maybe even cant maybe even look
- 11:50Speaker 2: good and sad, maybe even Yeah, it is the I
- 11:56Speaker 2: do know how to dig cantor. And then Gino's like,
- 12:01Speaker 2: would you consider writing for four years to be experienced?
- 12:04Speaker 2: Rebecca says, no, No, that's not a lot of experience.
- 12:07Speaker 2: I don't think she can trot and canter. She can
- 12:10Speaker 2: trot and canter. Now, watch me trot, watch me trot trot,
- 12:16Speaker 2: watching cant yeah, watch me, watch me, watch me nay nay,
- 12:25Speaker 2: nay nay. Oh man carry on. I was trying to
- 12:30Speaker 2: think of it them I got I got there. Uh
- 12:35Speaker 2: all right, so Christine continues on. I can't, I can't.
- 12:38Speaker 2: I can't. Watch me try watch me can uh. Christine
- 12:41Speaker 2: continues on. My trainer and I from the stable talked
- 12:44Speaker 2: and we decided together it was time for me to
- 12:47Speaker 2: move on to jumping time everyone, because I know the fundamentals.
- 12:51Speaker 2: Now at this point, Rebecca's interrupting, she made that decision.
- 12:53Speaker 2: She made that decision. Gino's quiet every now really not happy.
- 12:58Speaker 2: I'm gonna give you a chance. Quite now. Chris says,
- 13:00Speaker 2: I did some competitions, even placed second in those. This
- 13:05Speaker 2: is before she started jumping like other competitions like equin competitions.
- 13:09Speaker 2: And I know how to ride, so it was time
- 13:12Speaker 2: to learn how to jump second place truck. So we
- 13:14Speaker 2: worked on how to jump. We worked on a jump
- 13:17Speaker 2: and I jumped the first and then the second jump
- 13:19Speaker 2: the horse completely bolted. She got the horse got spooked
- 13:23Speaker 2: by something and it threw me on the ground. And
- 13:26Speaker 2: they said, what genisys what spooped the horse? And she says,
- 13:29Speaker 2: I think it was My trainer bolted out of the
- 13:32Speaker 2: arena right before I started making the jumps. He just
- 13:34Speaker 2: took off, running out of We're gonna get there, okay, Rebecca,
- 13:38Speaker 2: I don't know how this is. Rebecca says, that's not true.
- 13:41Speaker 2: Gina says, so you blame miss Connolly and the stable
- 13:43Speaker 2: and the trainer for what happened. Christine says, yes, it's
- 13:46Speaker 2: negligence for the works for the trainer, works for Rebecca.
- 13:49Speaker 2: The trainer's there. Don't worry. He's got a cowboy hat.
- 13:51Speaker 2: And how else would we know. Rebecca says, I was
- 13:55Speaker 2: in the front office when this happened. I did not
- 13:57Speaker 2: witness it, but I heard something happen. I heard screaming.
- 13:59Speaker 2: We immediately called one one. We we got on immediately,
- 14:02Speaker 2: we came. I ran to the riding arena. I saw
- 14:04Speaker 2: Christine on the ground. We got the horse out of
- 14:06Speaker 2: the way.
- 14:07Speaker 1: Uh.
- 14:07Speaker 2: At this point, Judge Gina says, so we have a video.
- 14:10Speaker 2: Let's go to the plasma for the video. So we
- 14:12Speaker 2: have a video of the incident. So we watch uh uh.
- 14:17Speaker 2: We we bring Christine over, we watch her jump one time,
- 14:21Speaker 2: the first jump, and on the second jump, the horse
- 14:24Speaker 2: just takes a left turn in Albuquerque, like right before.
- 14:26Speaker 2: It just zip and it it just throws her right
- 14:29Speaker 2: off the horse and gets trampled. And Christina get is
- 14:32Speaker 2: trampled by the horse. Yeah, yeah, she gets the horse. No, no, no,
- 14:35Speaker 2: doesn't get trampled. She get falls in the ground. She's
- 14:37Speaker 2: there and and the horse, the horse she gets bucks away, Okay,
- 14:42Speaker 2: And it's clearly traumatic for her. And Gino sees it
- 14:45Speaker 2: and goes, can we roll that back and watch it
- 14:50Speaker 2: in slow motion? We're gonna get to a horse trainer
- 14:54Speaker 2: near in the video. No, the trainers don't where to be,
- 14:57Speaker 2: So we go back and slow mo and it looks
- 14:59Speaker 2: like the horse gets spooked by something and just zip
- 15:02Speaker 2: and then tosses her. So Rebecca says, well, Christine sees
- 15:06Speaker 2: one thing, I see another. Falling off a horse is
- 15:09Speaker 2: an inherent risk in riding. It's part and parcel of
- 15:11Speaker 2: the sport of the sport. Yeah, Gino says, well, how
- 15:14Speaker 2: did the horse get spooked? We don't know if the
- 15:16Speaker 2: horse get spooked, is what Recca says. We don't know
- 15:18Speaker 2: that for sure, but there are a lot of reasons
- 15:20Speaker 2: that horses can get spooked. Ghosts, it happens from time
- 15:22Speaker 2: to ghost would be a big gremlin for sure. So
- 15:25Speaker 2: they bring up gramletch would definitely spook a word. Zombies, Yes,
- 15:28Speaker 2: you bet you got it. Credit cards, you got it.
- 15:31Speaker 2: So spirits, No, they're okay with spirits, actually believe it
- 15:35Speaker 2: or not. Their spirit friendly. It's just a spirit thing.
- 15:37Speaker 2: You wouldn't get it. Judge Gino says he's going to
- 15:42Speaker 2: bring in a professional horse trainer. She's been doing it
- 15:44Speaker 2: for thirty years. Great. I love it when he brings
- 15:47Speaker 2: in experts. After basically them saying it wasn't the trainer
- 15:49Speaker 2: running away blah blah blah. So oh no, no, I'm
- 15:52Speaker 2: not to the trainer yet. I'm just kidding wrong trainer.
- 15:54Speaker 2: They asked if the trainer Megan Trainer, not Megan Trainer.
- 15:57Speaker 2: It's all by the base, but you wow no. Uh so,
- 16:03Speaker 2: then Rebecca pulls out a waiver. She said, I have
- 16:05Speaker 2: a waiver signed by Christine. Gino goes, you know this
- 16:08Speaker 2: the waivers a legal document, right, miss Robinson, you understand
- 16:11Speaker 2: if you signed this, it's legal. Christine says, I did
- 16:13Speaker 2: read it. I understand it, and then he says it
- 16:16Speaker 2: states acknowledges that horseback riding is an inherently dangerous activity
- 16:20Speaker 2: and can cause serious injury, in some cases death. You
- 16:22Speaker 2: knew it said that. And at this point Christine says, honestly, Judge,
- 16:27Speaker 2: you know I didn't read the waiver. I just signed it.
- 16:29Speaker 2: But it's because she just handed it to me and
- 16:31Speaker 2: said you need to sign it. And Judge Gino says,
- 16:34Speaker 2: hold on, a waiver is a legal document and if
- 16:38Speaker 2: you have someone sign it without giving them the proper
- 16:40Speaker 2: time to sign it, and then he rips the waiver up.
- 16:43Speaker 2: He rips the waiver that he's been brought that has
- 16:46Speaker 2: it up in court, he rips it up.
- 16:48Speaker 1: I just here, can I tell you that my problem
- 16:50Speaker 1: with this is that literally every waiver experience I've ever
- 16:53Speaker 1: had is hey, yes, correct. It is up to me
- 16:57Speaker 1: whether or not I read it. It is not up
- 16:59Speaker 1: to if you hand me a waiver. It's not up
- 17:02Speaker 1: to you to be like, don't you dare sign until
- 17:05Speaker 1: you read a try word?
- 17:05Speaker 2: Don't you do it? Don't true do it? So Gina's like,
- 17:09Speaker 2: did you have proper time to sign this? And Rebecca
- 17:11Speaker 2: or Christina is very like, She's like, I wasn't given
- 17:14Speaker 2: enough time. I was given Uh, they just put the
- 17:17Speaker 2: form down and sign it. And then she says, I
- 17:19Speaker 2: just ask for more time. Then she said, I was
- 17:21Speaker 2: given five minutes, and then she said I was given
- 17:24Speaker 2: two minutes. So you never really get a firm answer
- 17:28Speaker 2: from her. She but she asked. Then he asked, Rebecca,
- 17:31Speaker 2: did you give her enough time to sign it. Rebecca says, yes,
- 17:33Speaker 2: she had all the time she needed. We had multiple conversations,
- 17:36Speaker 2: not just a conversation when we handed her the waiver.
- 17:38Speaker 2: She had a lot of time to do you have
- 17:40Speaker 2: a second copy of the waiver? Yes? Uh, I don't.
- 17:44Speaker 2: I ripped that felt. So let's get to the injury.
- 17:48Speaker 2: She broke her bones in her arm and shoulder area,
- 17:52Speaker 2: pins and needles all throughout, and then she gets really
- 17:54Speaker 2: sad about the fact that she has thirty five thousand
- 17:56Speaker 2: medical bills, doesn't know how she's going to pay it.
- 17:59Speaker 2: At this point, Rebecca the horse trainer looks at her
- 18:01Speaker 2: and goes, Christine, I am sorry, and Rebecca starts crying
- 18:04Speaker 2: and it is sincere like, I am legitimately sorry that
- 18:07Speaker 2: you got hurt. It hurts my heart that you got hurt. Oh,
- 18:10Speaker 2: Gina's gonna love that. Yeah, he loves it when people
- 18:13Speaker 2: feel bad. That's right. Well, Christine says, sorry doesn't cut it.
- 18:15Speaker 2: You're responsible, and Gina's like we brought a professional trainer in.
- 18:19Speaker 2: Let's hear from the trainer. The trainer's name. No, no, no,
- 18:23Speaker 2: not a professional trainer. My bad. We Let's hear from
- 18:25Speaker 2: the trainer that bolted. Here, from the trainer that bolted.
- 18:28Speaker 2: His name is Hank Marfield. He wears a cowboy hat.
- 18:30Speaker 2: He's been doing this for a long time. Uh, he's no,
- 18:34Speaker 2: it isn't trainer. All believe it, but or not. He trained.
- 18:38Speaker 2: He's been working with Christine for two years. He put
- 18:40Speaker 2: it through the paces, the right procedures, proper techniques. She's
- 18:43Speaker 2: always done an excellent job. They worked on jumping for
- 18:47Speaker 2: four months before they tried these jumps the real house.
- 18:50Speaker 1: It sounds like they're really taken that really take their time.
- 18:53Speaker 2: She seemed ready to jump. Christine said, you shouldn't have
- 18:55Speaker 2: left the arena. Gina says, what happened? He said, well,
- 18:58Speaker 2: right before she started to jump, I heard a horse
- 19:00Speaker 2: in distress. Never a good sign. I needed to go
- 19:04Speaker 2: deal with that. We have twenty horses in our stable.
- 19:06Speaker 2: We were responsible for all of them. I looked at
- 19:08Speaker 2: Christine and I gave her a gesture. I pointed to me,
- 19:11Speaker 2: and then I pointed out that I was leaving, and
- 19:13Speaker 2: she seemed to nod at me that she understood that
- 19:16Speaker 2: I was going to go check on this situation. Christine says, absolutely,
- 19:19Speaker 2: that did not happen. Is using sign language.
- 19:21Speaker 1: Why can he not just say it because across the
- 19:23Speaker 1: way give him the horse room.
- 19:25Speaker 2: I don't know why, but that's what he did. She said,
- 19:28Speaker 2: that is not true. He said nothing, he did nothing.
- 19:30Speaker 2: I heard the fence banging as he left. So and
- 19:33Speaker 2: she goes, you run. Her horses have a peripheral view.
- 19:36Speaker 2: They can see a lot further to their left and
- 19:38Speaker 2: right then we can see that could have easily spooked him.
- 19:41Speaker 2: So the trainer says, she seemed to nod at me
- 19:45Speaker 2: for confirmation. Christine says, that's a lie. At this point,
- 19:48Speaker 2: judge Gina's bringing in a professional, so really quickly, yes, sir,
- 19:52Speaker 2: so we do have a video, but for some reason
- 19:56Speaker 2: we don't in the video. We don't have him running.
- 19:58Speaker 2: We don't have them before. That's stupid, but we don't
- 20:01Speaker 2: have him. Apparently he's sprinting as the horse hits the
- 20:03Speaker 2: second jump and the fence flying open. Is what does it?
- 20:09Speaker 1: We have a horse being spooked over here out in
- 20:13Speaker 1: the that's what he's gonna go run.
- 20:15Speaker 2: Here's a horse in distrust.
- 20:16Speaker 1: Here's a horse in distrust. Right, and then this horse
- 20:18Speaker 1: gets spooked again. I don't want to keep bringing up ghosts.
- 20:22Speaker 1: Could be it seems like we have a ghost problem.
- 20:24Speaker 2: Gunshot, So they bring a professional in gunshot would pick
- 20:29Speaker 2: the horse problem. Different problem, different problem, different horse problem.
- 20:34Speaker 2: I'm not here. I love animals. Was it worth it? Absolutely?
- 20:41Speaker 2: For the for the double decker community was worth it? Uh?
- 20:45Speaker 2: Gino brings in a professional. This woman's been training horses
- 20:48Speaker 2: for thirty years. Here's what she says. Brand She says,
- 20:51Speaker 2: some horses are more spooky than others. Yeah, yeah, Uh.
- 20:57Speaker 2: They take information from all sides of their body, and
- 20:59Speaker 2: their eyes can see almost a full one hundred and
- 21:01Speaker 2: eighty degrees. And it looks, based upon the video that
- 21:04Speaker 2: her approach is good and her form is solid on
- 21:07Speaker 2: the first jump. And then this movement is very rapid.
- 21:12Speaker 2: If someone was leaving quickly, it could cause that to happen,
- 21:16Speaker 2: they asked. Then he goes over to the trainer, the
- 21:18Speaker 2: horse trainer, and said Hank and says, hey, did you
- 21:21Speaker 2: leave rapidly or did you go slow? He goes, I
- 21:23Speaker 2: got out of there pretty fast. I did judge Gina
- 21:25Speaker 2: is ready to rule nine thirty five past five future
- 21:33Speaker 2: fifty pain and suffering.
- 21:34Speaker 1: I do want to just say this, this feels very
- 21:37Speaker 1: weird to me that we don't have some sort of
- 21:40Speaker 1: other camera angle, so only when we got because it
- 21:43Speaker 1: just feels like all of this would be pretty cut.
- 21:45Speaker 2: And dry with another camera angle.
- 21:47Speaker 1: Only when we got The trainer is saying that he
- 21:50Speaker 1: did leave very quickly does make me feel like sign
- 22:00Speaker 1: So signing a waiver that says there's inherent risk riding
- 22:05Speaker 1: a horse.
- 22:08Speaker 2: Doesn't cover.
- 22:10Speaker 1: If the if something is going on that is extracurricular,
- 22:14Speaker 1: that is the the barns the ranch's fault, right Like,
- 22:19Speaker 1: you can't say there's an inherent risk in horseback riding
- 22:22Speaker 1: and then and then start throwing mud at the horse
- 22:26Speaker 1: and expects for the horse to just be normal. You'd
- 22:31Speaker 1: be a mud throwing situation, which would be the ranch's fault.
- 22:33Speaker 1: The the trainer should know that running out of the
- 22:37Speaker 1: arena could spook a horse. If there is someone he
- 22:42Speaker 1: is training who is in what seems to be mid jumpings.
- 22:49Speaker 2: She does one jump and then he's running out, I think,
- 22:52Speaker 2: and then she goes she decides to go.
- 22:56Speaker 1: Okay, that's tough, because why why you shouldn't have gone if.
- 23:00Speaker 2: The trainer wasn't there.
- 23:01Speaker 1: Yeah, I feel like there's just not enough details for
- 23:06Speaker 1: me to give an actual good verdict on this.
- 23:08Speaker 2: I'll say that. I say that she'll get some money. Though.
- 23:11Speaker 2: So I was mad at judge, you know, all case,
- 23:14Speaker 2: because he kept getting mad at the horse owner, the
- 23:16Speaker 2: stable owner, and not at this woman and for like
- 23:21Speaker 2: saying the things she was saying. And I was like, man,
- 23:23Speaker 2: he's going to give her the money. He gives her
- 23:25Speaker 2: no money. And the reason he gives her no money
- 23:27Speaker 2: he says, it pains me to not give you any money.
- 23:30Speaker 2: But the case is moot. And here's why it's moot
- 23:32Speaker 2: is because mute. Nope, it's not that we could hear it, Bartholona.
- 23:38Speaker 2: Just put it right here. Just put it right here
- 23:39Speaker 2: while we're recording the gabble. Oh perfect, great. Here's the
- 23:44Speaker 2: thing I didn't know this, This case should have never
- 23:47Speaker 2: gotten there. There is something called the equine rule. Did
- 23:51Speaker 2: you know this equine rule? I didn't know it. It
- 23:53Speaker 2: is a law in all fifty states, and the equine
- 23:55Speaker 2: law states this. Are you ready for this? No? Person,
- 24:00Speaker 2: operation or partnership is liable for personal injuries two or
- 24:06Speaker 2: for the death of a rider that may occur as
- 24:09Speaker 2: a result of the behavior of equine animals while engaged
- 24:14Speaker 2: in any equine activities. So basically, we weren't meant to
- 24:18Speaker 2: ride horses. If you die while riding a horse, no
- 24:22Speaker 2: one is responsible. But the person doesn't matter, doesn't matter.
- 24:28Speaker 2: So he says, you've assumed the risk as soon as
- 24:31Speaker 2: you get on the horse. It pains me to rule
- 24:32Speaker 2: against you. But you've assumed the risk and you don't
- 24:34Speaker 2: are not gonna get any money? Wow? Does she cry? Yeah?
- 24:38Speaker 2: She could cry like a little baby. Little baby. They
- 24:42Speaker 2: shot the horse. They did, not just kidding a little baby.
- 24:50Speaker 2: Oh I feel bad. I just I yeah, it's it's messy.
- 24:56Speaker 2: I part of me.
- 24:58Speaker 1: I just feel like there were not getting all of
- 25:00Speaker 1: the information. There is something missing from this case because I.
- 25:04Speaker 2: Think they needed a filler case only ninety k. The
- 25:07Speaker 2: rule says, you can't get any money. Why'd they take it?
- 25:09Speaker 2: Are they taken it? Just don't do it? Don't? All right? Well, godspeed,
- 25:14Speaker 2: good luck. We're gonna be back in a couple weeks
- 25:16Speaker 2: another one. Until then, all rise, yo, Gabble Gabbles a
