- 0:18Dayna Roselli: You can get married on the Las Vegas trip and some good celebrity sightings from the weekend.
- 0:23Sean McAllister: And we remember Dolly Parton's iconic moments right here in Las Vegas, and there were plenty of them.
- 0:30Dayna Roselli: Let's get to it now on Vegas Revealed.
- 0:32Dayna Roselli: Welcome to Vegas Revealed, episode 336.
- 0:37Dayna Roselli: I'm Dayna Roselli, along with Sean McAllister.
- 0:40Dayna Roselli: I have so many topics going in my head, but we first wanted to touch on Dolly Parton because obviously she passed away, and that's all the whole world has been talking about.
- 0:50Dayna Roselli: But you put together a flashback piece with some iconic moments from Las Vegas.
- 0:55Dayna Roselli: And we wanted to let people know that that is on our YouTube channel.
- 0:58Dayna Roselli: Hello, Sean.
- 1:00Sean McAllister: Yeah, hello Dayna.
- 1:01Sean McAllister: And hello, Dolly.
- 1:02Sean McAllister: I mean, uh, Dolly Parton, just so iconic.
- 1:06Sean McAllister: And what's been really remarkable is seeing all of these tributes, all of uh the honors that have come out for Dolly Parton, and they're just not stopping.
- 1:16Sean McAllister: And all these clips of Dolly's words of wisdom.
- 1:20Sean McAllister: And uh, you know, we've joined the chorus of singing Dolly's praises uh by putting together this neon flashback that recognize some of the big moments of Dolly's career here in Las Vegas.
- 1:32Sean McAllister: Um, so again, go to our YouTube channel, check out the uh neon flashback section and and watch that story.
- 1:39Dayna Roselli: But you got some good pictures though, some visuals from the LVCVA archive.
- 1:44Dayna Roselli: So these are things that a lot of people may not have seen before.
- 1:47Sean McAllister: Yeah, or maybe reliving some of the moments that uh you were lucky enough to be there for perhaps.
- 1:53Sean McAllister: Um going back to the early 1980s, that's when Dolly Parton had a a residency over at the Riviera.
- 2:00Sean McAllister: She was here for uh several months uh in early 1981 doing a lot of shows.
- 2:07Sean McAllister: People packed the house to see those performances.
- 2:11Sean McAllister: Um then she was back in 2016 at the Academy of Country Music Awards that were held over at MGM Grand.
- 2:19Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 2:19Sean McAllister: That's when I had a personal interaction with Dolly.
- 2:23Sean McAllister: I was doing interviews on the red carpet uh for the show I worked with at the time.
- 2:28Sean McAllister: And it was one of those situations where if you haven't done a red carpet before, especially for an award show, as you get closer to showtime, uh these artists are just kind of being rushed in.
- 2:39Sean McAllister: Publicists are trying to uh get them in so that they can be there for the start of the award show.
- 2:46Sean McAllister: Um, it was one of those situations, and Dolly was uh kind of leapfrogged us on the uh red carpet, and she saw that we were really wanting to talk with her.
- 2:57Sean McAllister: And so when she wrapped up the interview she was doing, she kind of took one step back over and she said, you know what?
- 3:04Sean McAllister: If you guys want to talk to me, I want to talk to you.
- 3:07Dayna Roselli: I love it.
- 3:07Dayna Roselli: I can hear it in her voice.
- 3:09Sean McAllister: It was great, and it wasn't a long interview, you know, two minutes, but it was just the fact that she made an effort, saw that we wanted to talk to her, and she made the time.
- 3:20Dayna Roselli: Yeah, that's a great story.
- 3:21Dayna Roselli: I love that.
- 3:22Dayna Roselli: And you haven't seen her perform in person, but you almost did.
- 3:25Sean McAllister: Oh, I almost did.
- 3:26Sean McAllister: It was that exact same year, 2016, she was performing uh at the Laughlin Event Center and I had tickets, but there was another uh obligation that came up on the same night, ended up uh selling tickets to a friend who I'm so glad that uh that he was able to go uh to that concert and experience it.
- 3:46Sean McAllister: I'm glad it was somebody that I knew.
- 3:47Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 3:48Dayna Roselli: Who works for station casinos in the entertainment biz.
- 3:53Dayna Roselli: So I know he was posting clips and it meant a lot to him.
- 3:55Dayna Roselli: So you did a good deed, but that's right, you didn't get to see her live.
- 3:58Dayna Roselli: And I know you were interested in going if she was gonna come to the Coliseum, and then she had to cancel those shows around rodeo time.
- 4:05Dayna Roselli: So um, definitely a sad, a sad week um all around the world, and you know, everyone recalling the quotes and wonderful things that Dolly Parton did through the years.
- 4:14Sean McAllister: Well, and really how how miraculous is it to have a career that lasted as long as Dolly's did, and to have so many interactions with so many, not only fans, but celebrities, production people.
- 4:28Sean McAllister: And there hasn't been a single bad thing about her.
- 4:33Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 4:33Sean McAllister: Everything has been positive, and that just speaks volumes to the person that she was.
- 4:38Dayna Roselli: Definitely.
- 4:38Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 4:39Dayna Roselli: All right.
- 4:40Dayna Roselli: Well, let's move on to some Las Vegas items uh that have been happening in, you know, in town over the last couple weeks.
- 4:47Dayna Roselli: And one of them that was really big, the Michelin Guide Southwest Awards.
- 4:52Dayna Roselli: They were at Fountain Blue, Las Vegas.
- 4:53Dayna Roselli: Sean and I went to a couple different events.
- 4:55Dayna Roselli: We went to a hospitality QA, which I feel like, you know, we learned a little bit, but it was really more just to talk about the hospitality world and you know the popularity of it and how we're getting more and more restaurants all the time in Las Vegas.
- 5:10Dayna Roselli: Some are closing, some are being refreshed, and that kind of thing.
- 5:13Dayna Roselli: So I don't know that there was any groundbreaking information that came out of that.
- 5:17Dayna Roselli: Um, but we did go to the awards and I loved the um little like cocktail hour they had before because they utilized one of the Fountain Blues like entertaining rooms that I had never been in, and it was lovely.
- 5:29Sean McAllister: Yeah, it really was.
- 5:31Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 5:31Dayna Roselli: That was like it was like, you know, windows out to like a patio area, and it was really nice.
- 5:37Dayna Roselli: So it was nice to see them activate that space.
- 5:39Dayna Roselli: Um, and they had great, you know, things you could try and different kinds of drinks.
- 5:43Dayna Roselli: It was top of the line.
- 5:44Sean McAllister: Yeah, it it was top of the line.
- 5:46Sean McAllister: And you know, in Michelin, when the Michelin guide is involved, it is going to be top of the line.
- 5:51Sean McAllister: And same with Fountain Blue, they're fantastic as well.
- 5:54Sean McAllister: So that was a good partnership to kick off the Michelin Southwest uh return.
- 6:01Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 6:01Dayna Roselli: Um, so let's get right to it because I know a lot even when we were sitting there, we're like, all right, what what Vegas restaurants got a w, you know, stars and all that.
- 6:09Dayna Roselli: And uh we did have a few, a handful.
- 6:12Sean McAllister: Yeah, two Michelin stars went to Restaurant de Joël Robuchon, that's over at MGM Grand.
- 6:18Sean McAllister: One Michelin star went to Guy Savoy Restaurant over at Caesars Palace.
- 6:24Sean McAllister: Also, é by José Andrés at the Cosmopolitan got uh two got a single star, along with L'Atelier by Joel Robuchon, uh also at MGM Grand.
- 6:37Dayna Roselli: Okay, and then there was a bunch of nods.
- 6:38Dayna Roselli: Um, but first we were chatting with someone who was saying, you know, these Michelin-starred restaurants, like a lot of people actually try to get a reservation at the restaurant first, then they book the trip around that.
- 6:48Dayna Roselli: Instead of like booking your plane in hotel, like it's hard to get a reservation at some of these places.
- 6:53Dayna Roselli: I don't know how it is here or how it will be, but um, it's a whole experience because you and I were saying we are not like first of all, I've not I've been in Las Vegas a long time.
- 7:03Dayna Roselli: I may have been to one of the restaurants before, but you know, these are not I've sat in Guy Savoy.
- 7:09Dayna Roselli: I don't think I ate there.
- 7:10Dayna Roselli: I think I did an interview in there.
- 7:12Sean McAllister: And well, one of the things that um that I thought was interesting that came out of that uh QA that we went to, they they kind of explained what the different stars and uh recognitions mean.
- 7:25Sean McAllister: So one Michelin star means that if you're going to a city and they have a one Michelin star restaurant, you absolutely need to book it.
- 7:34Sean McAllister: For two Michelin stars, if you're in the area, it's worth taking a detour and going to dine at that restaurant.
- 7:44Sean McAllister: If it's three Michelin stars, that means that you should just plan on booking your entire trip around going to that specific restaurant.
- 7:54Dayna Roselli: Interesting.
- 7:55Sean McAllister: And then, of course, all the other uh recommended restaurants that they put out and the Bib Gourmand awards, those are just very highly recommended spots to put on your list.
- 8:07Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 8:07Dayna Roselli: That'd probably be my list that I'd go to.
- 8:10Dayna Roselli: You know what I mean?
- 8:11Sean McAllister: Like for someone who's not uh super foodie, like a connoisseur of all the technique and the everything that goes into it that like a food writer would would dive into.
- 8:22Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 8:23Dayna Roselli: I find it all very interesting, and I'm not saying I would turn it down or you know, wouldn't go, but I just feel like if I was seeking out, um, because what are these bib gourmands?
- 8:32Dayna Roselli: They're like a just like kind of like a hats off kind of deal.
- 8:36Sean McAllister: Yeah, that's um so there's the uh recommended restaurants that they put out, and the bib gourmand is kind of a step above the recommendation, but not quite to the star level.
- 8:49Dayna Roselli: Yeah, it was nice to see Esther's Kitchen and uh Yen on the list, both off strip restaurants.
- 8:56Sean McAllister: Right.
- 8:57Dayna Roselli: So uh Yen Viet Kitchen, that's on uh 3575 South Decatur Boulevard.
- 9:02Dayna Roselli: Um, and then Esther's Kitchen on Main Street.
- 9:04Dayna Roselli: We've always said that's always busy and packed and delicious, and then China Poblano at Cosmopolitan, that's been there for a while, and so they got the three bibs.
- 9:14Sean McAllister: They got the three bibs, yes.
- 9:16Sean McAllister: So uh then there's a whole list of recommended restaurants uh here in Las Vegas as well, uh, both on and off the Las Vegas strip.
- 9:28Sean McAllister: So um uh be sure to check out the Michelin guide southwest to see where uh all of the restaurants landed.
- 9:37Sean McAllister: It's a pretty lengthy list, so I'm not gonna really get into the recommended restaurants now.
- 9:41Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 9:42Sean McAllister: Um, but it's definitely time, uh it's definitely worth your time to check out.
- 9:47Dayna Roselli: Yeah, maybe I can link it in the show notes or something.
- 9:49Dayna Roselli: I mean, there's some off strip, a lot on the strip.
- 9:52Dayna Roselli: Sparrow and wolf is.
- 9:53Dayna Roselli: People probably want to know.
- 9:58Sean McAllister: All right, why not?
- 9:59Dayna Roselli: All right.
- 9:59Dayna Roselli: I'm gonna try my best with names.
- 10:02Dayna Roselli: Is it Anima by EDO?
- 10:04Dayna Roselli: We did the other EDO, the new one that opened on uh Paris.
- 10:07Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 10:08Dayna Roselli: This one's on West Russell Road.
- 10:10Dayna Roselli: Uh Bouchon at the Venetian, uh Coat, Las Vegas at the Venetian, uh Milos at the Venetian, Gymkana, the new Indian restaurant at Aria, uh Kabuto on Spring Mountain, and then Kame Omakase.
- 10:27Dayna Roselli: Am I saying that right?
- 10:29Sean McAllister: Yep.
- 10:29Dayna Roselli: Yeah, that's on Spring Mountain too.
- 10:31Sean McAllister: And Lamai on Spring Mountain, Michael Mina, uh Michael Mina over at Bellagio, Mat 32, that's over at uh Palazzo and Venetian.
- 10:39Sean McAllister: Uh Partage on Spring Mountain, uh Foga Bak Bach, uh Spring Mountain as well.
- 10:46Dayna Roselli: These a lot of these are Chinatown area, huh?
- 10:48Sean McAllister: They are.
- 10:49Sean McAllister: Okay.
- 10:49Sean McAllister: Uh Ping Pang Pong.
- 10:51Dayna Roselli: The Gold Coast.
- 10:51Dayna Roselli: I've still never gone.
- 10:52Dayna Roselli: Oh my gosh.
- 10:53Dayna Roselli: We need to go.
- 10:54Sean McAllister: We do need to go because every single time I drive by there, it's on their uh billboard.
- 10:59Sean McAllister: They're just up there permanently.
- 11:01Sean McAllister: Uh-huh.
- 11:01Sean McAllister: Uh clearly for good reason because they're getting this recognition.
- 11:05Sean McAllister: Uh-huh.
- 11:05Sean McAllister: Uh Soul Belly Barbecue, that's on South Main Street, uh in the arts district downtown.
- 11:10Sean McAllister: Sparrow and Wolf, also on Spring Mountain.
- 11:13Sean McAllister: Stubborn Seed at Resorts World, and Wing Lei at Win Las Vegas.
- 11:18Sean McAllister: So those are all the recommended restaurants.
- 11:20Dayna Roselli: That's a good list.
- 11:21Dayna Roselli: I like that.
- 11:22Dayna Roselli: Um, I've actually been to a few of these, which is nice.
- 11:26Sean McAllister: We were talking to a friend uh at the uh reception before the actual Michelin awards ceremony, uh, who said he never goes anywhere without uh checking out the Michelin guide.
- 11:38Sean McAllister: Yeah, especially when traveling overseas.
- 11:41Sean McAllister: Because he was like, you know what?
- 11:42Sean McAllister: When you go to Asia or Europe, a lot of times your dollar goes further at the Michelin-starred restaurants overseas.
- 11:50Sean McAllister: So if you are planning any uh trips abroad, that it's probably a good idea to check out those Michelin-starred restaurants.
- 11:59Dayna Roselli: I love it.
- 11:59Dayna Roselli: Yeah, that's a good idea.
- 12:00Dayna Roselli: I mean, it's I like a good guide, you know, just a simple, I feel like it's old school guide.
- 12:05Sean McAllister: It is.
- 12:06Sean McAllister: It is when you used to give me a booklet, take out the handy booklet, yes, you keep it in your travel attache.
- 12:12Dayna Roselli: Give me the booklet.
- 12:13Dayna Roselli: I like a good booklet.
- 12:15Dayna Roselli: Um, okay, well, congratulations to everyone.
- 12:17Dayna Roselli: You know, it's all about also we learned uh through the whole process, it's about consistency.
- 12:21Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 12:21Dayna Roselli: So it's not, it's not one visit to one of these restaurants or can you have to be consistent in order to receive the recommendations, the stars, all that kind of thing.
- 12:30Dayna Roselli: So congratulations to everyone.
- 12:31Dayna Roselli: I know it's a lot of hard work.
- 12:32Dayna Roselli: We've talked to chefs before who said, you know, it's it's a lot to keep your staff on point, to keep your stuff going exactly consistent every single day.
- 12:41Dayna Roselli: It it's like hats off to you.
- 12:43Sean McAllister: Well, and another interesting thing that we found out is that the uh Michelin awards uh stay with the restaurant and not necessarily the chef.
- 12:52Dayna Roselli: Interesting too.
- 12:52Dayna Roselli: Yeah, that's yeah, that makes sense.
- 12:54Sean McAllister: So I think when you, you know, when we talk about, oh, a Michelin starred chef, well, it's actually the restaurant that gets the star.
- 13:00Dayna Roselli: Interesting.
- 13:01Dayna Roselli: Yeah, that makes sense.
- 13:02Dayna Roselli: I'm ready to go to ping ping pong now.
- 13:04Dayna Roselli: I'm hungry.
- 13:05Sean McAllister: I know, I know.
- 13:06Sean McAllister: Get some dumplings and everything else on the menu.
- 13:10Dayna Roselli: All right.
- 13:10Dayna Roselli: Well, you can now say I do high above the Las Vegas drip.
- 13:13Dayna Roselli: We thought we'd mention this.
- 13:14Dayna Roselli: A lot of our audio podcast listeners come in to either uh get married, do a little uh vow renewal.
- 13:21Dayna Roselli: Sometimes they elope, even, you know?
- 13:23Dayna Roselli: Um, so now the Hard Rock Cafe in Las Vegas, right there on the strip, has teamed up with this elopement Las Vegas, and they're offering weddings on the second and third floor outdoor patio.
- 13:33Dayna Roselli: So keep that in mind.
- 13:34Dayna Roselli: You get this sweeping strip view for the ceremony, they can customize the reception, and the space accommodates up to 55 guests.
- 13:42Dayna Roselli: Felt like that was some good info to pass along.
- 13:44Sean McAllister: Yeah, that's great info.
- 13:45Sean McAllister: And if you like to, if you like to rock out, you can, you know, probably book a band to perform inside of their performance space too, depending on how elaborate you want to get with your reception.
- 13:56Sean McAllister: Right.
- 13:56Sean McAllister: Um, but yeah, lots of lots of packages over there, and it is a good spot.
- 14:01Sean McAllister: It is.
- 14:02Dayna Roselli: I'm I'm smiling because Sunday I had dinner over at my friend Denise Tresello's house.
- 14:08Dayna Roselli: She's a very um experienced, excellent photographer for many years here in Las Vegas, works for Getty, and we were just chatting about how much we love Donnie Osmond.
- 14:19Sean McAllister: You know, Donnie is one of those guys who he came up in the entertainment industry with a lot of entertainment greats who aren't with us anymore.
- 14:29Sean McAllister: I know he had uh Dolly Parton, he had knew for years, Lucille Ball, you know, Donnie and Marie rubbed shoulder uh Andy Williams was where they really got their start, and where Donnie Osmond on the Andy Williams show made his debut when he was just a little kid.
- 14:45Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 14:45Dayna Roselli: And then Denise and I were talking about how, because we watched the Michael movie, both of us separately, but we were chatting about how that time the Jackson 5 and the Osmonds were it.
- 14:54Dayna Roselli: I mean, that and you forget about that.
- 14:56Dayna Roselli: Like Donnie's got he's been around the block and succeeded and is still going.
- 15:01Dayna Roselli: And he has a show at Hara's.
- 15:03Dayna Roselli: And guess what, everyone?
- 15:04Dayna Roselli: He's sticking around here in Las Vegas, and we were excited to hear this.
- 15:07Dayna Roselli: He's got dates announced through June of 2027.
- 15:10Dayna Roselli: Happy to hear it.
- 15:12Sean McAllister: Absolutely.
- 15:12Sean McAllister: And you mentioned the Jackson 5 coming up the same time as the Osmonds.
- 15:15Sean McAllister: I think there's actually a clip in Donnie's show that shows a really iconic moment between uh Donnie and Michael Jackson at the American Music Awards back in the day.
- 15:25Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 15:26Sean McAllister: When they were both uh teenagers, I think.
- 15:28Dayna Roselli: They were in like, yeah, they're family groups.
- 15:30Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 15:30Dayna Roselli: You know, they were like, I guess was that what you'd call it?
- 15:32Dayna Roselli: Because we call it boy bands.
- 15:33Dayna Roselli: What about family groups?
- 15:34Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 15:34Dayna Roselli: What do they call those?
- 15:35Sean McAllister: And they had a friendship too, which is really cool.
- 15:38Sean McAllister: So Donnie is great.
- 15:40Sean McAllister: Um, the show has been long running.
- 15:43Sean McAllister: It's a mix of music from across his career with a lot of his personality mixed in.
- 15:49Sean McAllister: He even raps.
- 15:50Dayna Roselli: Oh, it's great.
- 15:51Sean McAllister: Which is great.
- 15:52Dayna Roselli: I love his show.
- 15:52Dayna Roselli: I love his original music.
- 15:54Dayna Roselli: I love all of it.
- 15:55Dayna Roselli: I love the cut he does some covers and then some of his old songs.
- 15:58Dayna Roselli: But yeah, it's at Harris, by the way.
- 15:59Dayna Roselli: I don't know if I mentioned that.
- 16:00Dayna Roselli: Um gosh, he's celebrating five years at Harris.
- 16:02Dayna Roselli: I feel like he's been there longer.
- 16:04Dayna Roselli: I'm kind of actually shocked that it's only been five years.
- 16:07Dayna Roselli: But I guess so.
- 16:08Dayna Roselli: That's right.
- 16:10Sean McAllister: 2021.
- 16:11Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 16:12Dayna Roselli: Yeah, we were there when they came out.
- 16:13Dayna Roselli: That was fun.
- 16:15Dayna Roselli: Well, tickets for the new dates are on sale now.
- 16:17Dayna Roselli: So go support Donnie Osman.
- 16:18Dayna Roselli: He's a lot of fun.
- 16:19Dayna Roselli: If you've never seen him, it is definitely worth it.
- 16:22Sean McAllister: Hey, uh, Big Las Vegas First uh is coming to the sphere uh right around Mexican Independence Day weekend.
- 16:28Sean McAllister: Carín León will become the first Latino artist to headline at the venue, which is a big deal.
- 16:35Sean McAllister: And there was a lot of demand for his shows too.
- 16:38Sean McAllister: I think they originally came out with three uh performance dates and then added some more.
- 16:45Sean McAllister: Right.
- 16:45Sean McAllister: Uh the Grammy winning Mexican stars performing uh a lot of his hits with and he's promising visuals and staging that has never been seen before in Spanish language music.
- 16:58Dayna Roselli: It's gonna be really cool.
- 16:59Dayna Roselli: I mean, even his press announcement was a big deal in visual.
- 17:02Dayna Roselli: He had it in that win area on the back where you had the sphere behind him and the lights.
- 17:06Dayna Roselli: So I'm looking forward to his show.
- 17:09Dayna Roselli: If you're listening on the day this podcast drops, it starts this weekend.
- 17:13Dayna Roselli: It's Friday.
- 17:14Dayna Roselli: Um, like Sean mentioned, they had to add shows because it was so popular.
- 17:18Dayna Roselli: Um, and then um I did look online and I noticed that this weekend, if you're curious to go, there's some resale tickets and uh look like just like a couple little scattered, but it's a little bit cheaper than next weekend when really all the Mexican Independence Day events kick up and more people are coming in town just to celebrate the holiday.
- 17:39Dayna Roselli: Um, so FYI, if you want to go, this might be the weekend.
- 17:44Sean McAllister: Yeah, and he's got shows through September 13th over at Sphere.
- 17:48Dayna Roselli: And Marc Anthony's coming back to Fontainebleau as well for Mexican Independence Day uh weekend.
- 17:54Dayna Roselli: I have friends coming in town for that and they're excited to see him.
- 17:57Dayna Roselli: I said you're gonna love it.
- 17:58Dayna Roselli: Uh, but he's got shows September 11th through the 19th, one of Sean and I's favorite shows.
- 18:03Dayna Roselli: Um, and then the Grand Canal Shops doing um a lot of different things.
- 18:07Dayna Roselli: So if you're interested in just some free entertainment roaming around, they got free mariachi over there, music, dancers September 12th through the 16th.
- 18:15Dayna Roselli: On September 15th, St.
- 18:16Dayna Roselli: Mark's Square is gonna host um the traditional El Grito ceremony.
- 18:22Dayna Roselli: If you want to check that out, it's a beautiful place to begin with, and they make it very colorful and the free roaming music's good too.
- 18:28Sean McAllister: And then the Friday of Mexican Independence Day weekend on the 11th, uh, the rock band, who are huge, they're playing at T-Mobile Arena.
- 18:40Sean McAllister: Um, so that's gonna be a show to put on the list too, if um you're a Mana fan.
- 18:46Sean McAllister: And I know that there are tons of fans.
- 18:49Dayna Roselli: Yeah, they have so many things at so many shows, other shows that we um aren't mentioning for Mexican Independence Day weekend.
- 18:55Dayna Roselli: So if you're coming in, enjoy.
- 18:57Sean McAllister: There is actually a great, like, comprehensive list at visitlasvegas.com for uh Mexican Independence Day weekend that has events, concerts, uh everything that you could possibly want to do uh over that time because I know that we always get a lot of visitors.

- 20:21Sean McAllister: Well, the musical, definitely much more fun than the experience, I'm sure.
- 20:25Sean McAllister: I don't know personally, but I'm guessing.

- 21:42Dayna Roselli: Um, also, the Jonas brothers uh were at the Backstreet Boys concert at the sphere, which is fun.
- 21:48Dayna Roselli: And then Donnie Wahlberg and Jenny McCarthy were there too, and they were all together.
- 21:52Dayna Roselli: Everyone was shooting video of like, oh my gosh, when you're at Backstreet and the Jonas Brothers and Donnie Wahlberg are hit and sitting behind.
- 21:59Dayna Roselli: You like, how could it get more boy band iconic than that?
- 22:03Sean McAllister: That's so funny.
- 22:04Dayna Roselli: Isn't that funny?
- 22:05Sean McAllister: I can see how that would turn into a spectacle.
- 22:07Dayna Roselli: Oh my gosh.
- 22:08Dayna Roselli: But I love that everyone's going to support and having fun.
- 22:11Dayna Roselli: They have so many people coming to their shows.
- 22:14Dayna Roselli: Every weekend there's new celebrities there.
- 22:16Sean McAllister: Well, and I think that's a testament to what they do inside of that building.

- 22:20Sean McAllister: I mean, it's just such a fun atmosphere.
- 22:24Sean McAllister: People are literally planning trips around going to that.
- 22:28Sean McAllister: Um, so that is what a fun time for people who were there for Backstreet Boys.
- 22:34Sean McAllister: And that is the great thing about Las Vegas.
- 22:38Sean McAllister: When you go to a show, when you go to a restaurant, when you walk down the strip, right?
- 22:42Sean McAllister: You just don't know who's going to be next to you.
- 22:47Dayna Roselli: Yeah, you don't.
- 22:48Dayna Roselli: It's you can see people at anything.

- 22:58Dayna Roselli: They know, they expect it.
- 22:59Dayna Roselli: They know they're going and people are gonna see them.
- 23:02Dayna Roselli: So it's fun.
- 23:03Dayna Roselli: Um, I was just gonna mention that the Wizard of Oz at the Sphere did just send us a release saying that they are adding some new 4D effects.
- 23:09Dayna Roselli: And so if you haven't seen The Wizard of Oz yet, or you have seen The Wizard of Oz and you want to go back, um, starting September 25th, there's gonna be new scenes, new scents, and new thrills.
- 23:22Sean McAllister: Interesting.
- 23:23Sean McAllister: I know, and among the new 4D activations, there's going to be uh Glenda Glitter.

- 23:42Sean McAllister: I was just talking, we were just talking about we have family coming in uh in the fall, and we were saying, like, man, because we took them to uh the in-laws, we took them to flyover last time they came in, and they absolutely loved it.
- 23:57Sean McAllister: We did two different flyovers.
- 23:58Dayna Roselli: Oh, yeah, that's right.
- 24:00Sean McAllister: And we were thinking, what else could we do that would be like that because they enjoyed it so much, and we thought Wizard of Oz.
- 24:05Sean McAllister: Like that's such oh my gosh.
- 24:09Dayna Roselli: And you only went to the opening, so you need to see it again.
- 24:11Dayna Roselli: I do need to see it with the new 4D.
- 24:13Sean McAllister: Yes.
- 24:14Dayna Roselli: Is it after September 25th?
- 24:16Sean McAllister: It is not scheduled yet, the trip.
- 24:18Sean McAllister: So it's just in the fall in general, so we can make sure that it happens after September 25th.
- 24:25Dayna Roselli: I know it is great.
- 24:26Dayna Roselli: Um, so and there's no end to that in sight, I don't think.
- 24:30Sean McAllister: So well, no, I think with the money they're making off it, yeah, there shouldn't be an end in sight.
- 24:35Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 24:36Dayna Roselli: Scratch and sniff apples now.
- 24:37Dayna Roselli: So all right.
- 24:40Dayna Roselli: I think that's a show, but we'll return next week with more conversation.

- 25:08Dayna Roselli: It's a good variety, and I think it's really helpful to people who live in Las Vegas and are coming to visit Las Vegas.
- 25:14Sean McAllister: Yeah, and it's not just a TV show, it really is kind of a travel guide to help you navigate Las Vegas.
- 25:21Sean McAllister: So, um, but we hope it's presented in a quick, fun way.
