Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: It's your early morning praise party. I am Sherry Mackie
- 0:03Speaker 1: and his time right now. Four Today's word healed by
- 0:09Speaker 1: his promise, Isaiah fifty three and five says, but he
- 0:14Speaker 1: was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities.
- 0:19Speaker 1: The chastisement of our peace was upon him, and by
- 0:24Speaker 1: his stripes we are healed. When Isaiah penned these words
- 0:30Speaker 1: centuries before Christ's birth, he was pointing us to the
- 0:34Speaker 1: finished work of Jesus on the cross. Jesus didn't just
- 0:38Speaker 1: die for our sins. He also carried our sickness. He
- 0:41Speaker 1: carried our pain and our brokenness, and every infirmity that
- 0:46Speaker 1: would ever try to weigh us down. Every stripe laid
- 0:50Speaker 1: on his back was not wasted. Each one was a
- 0:53Speaker 1: declaration of healing. Each one was a declaration of freedom
- 0:57Speaker 1: and restoration for his people. Yet, how often do we
- 1:02Speaker 1: come to God with prayers that sound unsure? We say, Lord,
- 1:06Speaker 1: if it's your will, heal me. Imagine Jesus seated at
- 1:10Speaker 1: the right hand of the Father, hearing that prayer. He
- 1:13Speaker 1: may say, after I took the lashes and endured the suffering,
- 1:18Speaker 1: and paid the price for their healing, They're still not
- 1:21Speaker 1: sure if I want to heal them. He wants you
- 1:24Speaker 1: to be healed. Healing is a promise from the word
- 1:27Speaker 1: of God and talking about Lord, if it's your will
- 1:31Speaker 1: heal me, that doesn't reflect faith. That reflects uncertainty, and
- 1:36Speaker 1: uncertainty doesn't honor the sacrifice he made. The way we
- 1:41Speaker 1: honor what Christ endured is by standing firm and what
- 1:46Speaker 1: he already declared. Healing is not a question mark. Healing
- 1:50Speaker 1: is a promise. God's word says I will restore health
- 1:53Speaker 1: to you and heal you of your wounds. It says
- 1:57Speaker 1: I am the Lord who heals you. It reminds us
- 2:00Speaker 1: that Jesus took our infirmities and carry our diseases. These
- 2:04Speaker 1: are not suggestions, they are declarations of his will. So
- 2:08Speaker 1: when you pray, don't beg don't doubt. Pray with boldness
- 2:12Speaker 1: reminded God what he already said. Father, you promise that
- 2:16Speaker 1: by Jesus's strifes we are healed. You promise that you
- 2:22Speaker 1: desire us to prosper and be in good Hell. We
- 2:24Speaker 1: receive that healing in our bodies, in our minds, in
- 2:28Speaker 1: our spirit today, even if symptoms remain, even if circumstances
- 2:33Speaker 1: haven't changed yet. Keep declaring his promise over your life.
- 2:38Speaker 1: Speak healing until your heart believes in more than the
- 2:42Speaker 1: pain you feel. His word is greater than any diagnosis,
- 2:46Speaker 1: more powerful than any symptom, and more final than any
- 2:50Speaker 1: doctor's report. Healing is not just possible, it is God's
- 2:55Speaker 1: will for your life. Father, Thank you that you are
- 3:00Speaker 1: Jehovah Raphah, the Lord who heals us. Thank you that
- 3:04Speaker 1: Jesus carried our sickness, our pain, and our brokenness on
- 3:07Speaker 1: the cross. God, we choose to believe and declare that
- 3:10Speaker 1: by His stripes we are healed, spirit, soul, and body. God,
- 3:15Speaker 1: we honor the sacrifice of Jesus by standing in faith
- 3:20Speaker 1: for wholeness and health. In Jesus' name. That's your word
- 3:24Speaker 1: for today. Take it applied to your everyday life, and
- 3:27Speaker 1: you continue to be encouraged and inspired. It's early morning
- 3:31Speaker 1: praise party. I am Sherry Mackie.
