Alaska Governor Mike Dunleavy has ordered an investigation into Senate candidate Mary Peltola's campaign after the New York Times alleged her campaign used a ballot stacking hack in order to steal votes away from the incumbent Dan Sullivan. The Times and President Trump suggested that Peltola's campaign officials hired retired Teacher Dan Sullivan to also run for office to confuse voters and steal votes away from incumbent Dan Sullivan.
