- 0:24[SPEAKER_01]: Hey everybody, welcome to another episode of Cheesy Popcorn.
- 0:29[SPEAKER_01]: This is Ann of R, your co-host.
- 0:31[SPEAKER_01]: I'm here with my good friend and co-host Chris Miles from New and Music Rose.
- 0:37[SPEAKER_02]: Sorry, I just came in from a long flight.
- 0:38[SPEAKER_02]: My arms are tired.
- 0:40[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, but I'm shocked.
- 0:40[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, exactly.
- 0:43[SPEAKER_02]: We just got everybody 50th show.
- 0:45[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, 50th.
- 0:46[SPEAKER_02]: The episode.
- 0:48[SPEAKER_01]: They said we went last three.
- 0:49[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and I didn't think I was going last one with you.
- 0:52[SPEAKER_01]: But now now we're like an old Mary couple.
- 0:54[SPEAKER_01]: We argue a lot.
- 0:54[SPEAKER_01]: We don't have sex.
- 0:59[SPEAKER_01]: that like the perfect mentality for this show, you know, this is kind of funny.
- 1:03[SPEAKER_02]: So at work yesterday, I got a call from somebody who coughed and sneezed and then hung up on me.
- 1:11[SPEAKER_01]: Cops, knees, and three of the seven doors.
- 1:14[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, so I'm getting really sick and tired of these cold calls.
- 1:22[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so I welcome that so far as you referred to it a running call.
- 1:27[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know, but the door is a jar, so that means it's dormant, right?
- 1:29[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 1:31[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 1:31[SPEAKER_01]: You're good.
- 1:32[SPEAKER_02]: And then, you know, that car, this is somebody else's bit by the way, so I'm just saying this.
- 1:36[SPEAKER_02]: Because if I remember, this is a kid, which when, you know, they had the astro van, remember?
- 1:41[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:42[SPEAKER_02]: And then every time the door was open, it would say, you're more of a jar, you're more of a jar.
- 1:48[SPEAKER_02]: That was somebody else's bit, totally not mine.
- 1:50[SPEAKER_01]: I don't recall that.
- 1:52[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, he was some comic that was like on some late night, TV, you know, comedy thing like, at the apartment or something like that.
- 1:59[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
- 2:00[SPEAKER_02]: Anyway, he did like a Jetson joke after that, too, that didn't do very well either.
- 2:04[SPEAKER_01]: Interesting.
- 2:05[SPEAKER_02]: And then he did some Scooby-Think.
- 2:06[SPEAKER_02]: I was like, you ever noticed how Scooby and Ashro sound almost a lot alike?
- 2:11[SPEAKER_01]: You've noticed how, uh, hey, that's your Ed and Johnny Cash at the exact same opening line.
- 2:18[SPEAKER_02]: You know, that's something we didn't, that's, I got another idea for an episode.
- 2:21[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, there we go.
- 2:22[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 2:22[SPEAKER_01]: That's good.
- 2:23[SPEAKER_01]: We can wear clothes on this time.
- 2:26[SPEAKER_02]: Well, according to you, we're like a married couple.
- 2:27[SPEAKER_02]: We don't have sex.
- 2:28[SPEAKER_02]: That's true.
- 2:29[SPEAKER_02]: We've never taken our clothes off.
- 2:30[SPEAKER_01]: That is true.
- 2:31[SPEAKER_01]: We are like a married couple.
- 2:33[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, so there we go, welcome to the episode folks.
- 2:35[SPEAKER_02]: Now that we've babbled like number 50, you've said that earlier.
- 2:38[SPEAKER_01]: I know when I just can't believe it.
- 2:40[SPEAKER_02]: And where's the Pezcake that you promised?
- 2:43[SPEAKER_01]: No, I'm not the Pez guy.
- 2:45[SPEAKER_01]: I brought a can of a very, a poppy pop.
- 2:49[SPEAKER_01]: Probiotic.
- 2:50[SPEAKER_02]: That you've licked and did everything else too.
- 2:52[SPEAKER_02]: So like your saliva is all over it.
- 2:54[SPEAKER_02]: I don't want it.
- 2:55[SPEAKER_02]: I did the next best thing though.
- 2:56[SPEAKER_02]: I brought you some altoids.
- 2:57[SPEAKER_02]: So here you go.
- 2:58[SPEAKER_02]: At least you have fresh breath.
- 2:59[SPEAKER_02]: Good.
- 2:59[SPEAKER_02]: Sitting across for me.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_01]: Very good.
- 3:03[SPEAKER_02]: so welcome to the episode folks uh... episode fifty like and ever like to keep saying i don't know he's must have something with the word five oh oh i get it now yeah police troubles is that what's going on okay i didn't say nothing but okay i will need bail money right after the five oh anyway probably shouldn't scream that too loud in the library right
- 3:24[SPEAKER_01]: It shouldn't be screaming in the library at all.
- 3:26[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's very true.
- 3:27[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, we should do a shout out to Downers Grove Library.
- 3:29[SPEAKER_01]: We haven't done that in a while.
- 3:30[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, well, we just did.
- 3:31[SPEAKER_01]: We recorded a show here.
- 3:32[SPEAKER_01]: We want to thank the AV staff and all the people here.
- 3:36[SPEAKER_01]: This is a really nice facility.
- 3:37[SPEAKER_01]: If you're in the area and you want to do a podcast, or you just want to come check out a book.
- 3:41[SPEAKER_01]: I think they check books out here, right?
- 3:43[SPEAKER_01]: They do a nice night check.
- 3:44[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 3:45[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, come over here.
- 3:46[SPEAKER_01]: This is a really terrific library.
- 3:47[SPEAKER_01]: They're very progressive.
- 3:49[SPEAKER_01]: It's a lot of modern stuff here that they put in over the last 10, 15 years.
- 3:54[SPEAKER_01]: The staff is super helpful.
- 3:55[SPEAKER_01]: They have a 3D printer.
- 3:57[SPEAKER_01]: There's a lot of stuff going on here.
- 3:58[SPEAKER_01]: So if you're in the area, bring your kids your.
- 4:01[SPEAKER_01]: My grandkids love coming to the library.
- 4:03[SPEAKER_01]: More than almost anything else.
- 4:05[SPEAKER_02]: More than being around you.
- 4:06[SPEAKER_02]: I get it.
- 4:06[SPEAKER_01]: No, no, no.
- 4:08[SPEAKER_01]: Nobody likes being around me more than me.
- 4:12[SPEAKER_02]: All right.
- 4:13[SPEAKER_02]: Well, this week at this week's episode, we're going to talk about our favorite thriller TV shows of all time.
- 4:18[SPEAKER_01]: This is thriller.
- 4:21[SPEAKER_02]: Who sings that song?
- 4:23[SPEAKER_02]: Tito.
- 4:25[SPEAKER_02]: Tito?
- 4:25[SPEAKER_02]: Tito Jackson.
- 4:26[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, let's keep it that way.
- 4:29[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to whisper a review, we're going to whisper, we're going to whisper.
- 4:33[SPEAKER_02]: We'll whisper a review of the whisper.
- 4:36[SPEAKER_02]: Man, that's about as creepy as we're going to get there.
- 4:39[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you folks.
- 4:40[SPEAKER_02]: And then, of course, the first thing we do is why we talk about what's coming out this week in theaters and or streaming services and everything else.
- 4:46[SPEAKER_02]: So, let's jump right into it.
- 4:48[SPEAKER_02]: The first movie on the list there is called on slot.
- 4:52[SPEAKER_02]: Um, which the first time I heard it, I thought it was unslaught, but anyway, that's not what it is.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_02]: It's about a rogue squad of genetically engineered super soldiers who break loose in the desert.
- 5:04[SPEAKER_02]: Um, and then a badass army sniper, uh, must unleash hell to protect her young daughter.
- 5:10[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, yeah.
- 5:12[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, I don't know.
- 5:14[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, next, because I don't have anything nice to say about this at all.
- 5:17[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 5:18[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, it was like,
- 5:19[SPEAKER_02]: really we want to take like Captain America type people and put them into a movie and you know it has nothing to do with Captain America but anyway um so that's that.
- 5:29[SPEAKER_02]: Up next we have a movie that looks somewhat interesting.
- 5:32[SPEAKER_02]: It's called by any means.
- 5:33[SPEAKER_02]: It's inspired by a true story.
- 5:35[SPEAKER_02]: A young black FBI agent is sent into the 1960s Mississippi to investigate a wave of brutal killings targeting civil rights leaders.
- 5:53[SPEAKER_02]: who was played by Mark Wahlberg.
- 5:55[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, and he finds himself in a big fan again.
- 5:58[SPEAKER_02]: He finds himself pulled into, you were never, you don't like him.
- 6:02[SPEAKER_02]: I like my, I never said it in like Mark Wahlberg.
- 6:04[SPEAKER_02]: When did I say that?
- 6:05[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know.
- 6:06[SPEAKER_02]: There's a lot of people who say you don't like, it's hard to keep your eye on.
- 6:08[SPEAKER_01]: You're not one of them.
- 6:09[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, well, there you go.
- 6:10[SPEAKER_02]: I thought the last movie we saw that he was in, you thought he was bad.
- 6:12[SPEAKER_02]: Anyway,
- 6:13[SPEAKER_01]: It might not always like exacting, but I like him depending on the role.
- 6:19[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 6:20[SPEAKER_01]: So, Italian job, he was great in that.
- 6:22[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 6:23[SPEAKER_01]: Great in the Italian job.
- 6:23[SPEAKER_01]: It's a really good movie.
- 6:24[SPEAKER_02]: I was going to say that Jason Statham was in that.
- 6:26[SPEAKER_02]: And that was a really great movie because Jason Statham was.
- 6:28[SPEAKER_01]: Well, yeah, Jason's a cutie.
- 6:30[SPEAKER_01]: You put your woody away.
- 6:31[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you very much.
- 6:32[SPEAKER_02]: Anyway.
- 6:33[SPEAKER_02]: All right, so that's the next one.
- 6:35[SPEAKER_02]: After that, Tom and Jerry for Bidden Compass.
- 6:37[SPEAKER_02]: Do we really need a Tom and Jerry movie right now?
- 6:41[SPEAKER_02]: No.
- 6:41[SPEAKER_02]: And just this came out like a week after, what coyote versus Acme, I just feel like we're trying to cash in on something that's just not there.
- 6:48[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's not, uh, I don't know.
- 6:50[SPEAKER_02]: Anyway, the world's most iconic rivals are back.
- 6:53[SPEAKER_02]: And this time they're on an adventure.
- 6:55[SPEAKER_02]: Neither of them saw coming.
- 6:57[SPEAKER_02]: Hmm.
- 6:57[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, when I'm not Superman and Lex Luther or the most iconic rivals.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_01]: That's Tom and Jerry.
- 7:03[SPEAKER_02]: I know what that really is not Yosemite and Bunch Bunny.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_02]: They weren't no.
- 7:08[SPEAKER_01]: They were rivals.
- 7:08[SPEAKER_02]: They were, but they weren't as big as Tom and Jerry.
- 7:12[SPEAKER_02]: uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh... uh
- 7:39[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know, there was a time in January movie that came out like four or five years ago.
- 7:42[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe it was ten years ago or something like that.
- 7:44[SPEAKER_02]: And I was just like the animation just looks so off.
- 7:47[SPEAKER_02]: And I was just kind of like, yeah, no, that's not working for me.
- 7:52[SPEAKER_02]: So those are the movies that are going to be in theaters tomorrow, as a matter of fact.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_02]: So if you want to go see any of those, there you go.
- 7:59[SPEAKER_02]: Mid or May Day is coming out on Apple TV.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_02]: This one looks interesting to me.
- 8:04[SPEAKER_02]: And not because it's an Apple TV, but just because it's got Ryan Reynolds and Kenneth Brana.
- 8:11[SPEAKER_02]: teaming up, teaming up exactly, teaming up in this movie, it's a gender-bending action-packed buddy comedy.
- 8:19[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, exactly.
- 8:21[SPEAKER_02]: That flips gender as in like action comedy, right?
- 8:24[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 8:24[SPEAKER_02]: Can you work with me here, please, instead of, you know, I realize it's a 50th episode and you're on some sort of bender or something.
- 8:31[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know what's going on, but anyway.
- 8:34[SPEAKER_02]: So anyway, action-packed buddy comedy that flips the spy thriller on its head.
- 8:39[SPEAKER_02]: So we got hot shot U.S. Navy pilot, Lieutenant Troy assassin Kelly, who is of course played by Ryan Reynolds.
- 8:46[SPEAKER_02]: He sent on a top secret mission into Russian territory, and of course, this is at the height of the Cold War.
- 8:50[SPEAKER_02]: His plane gets hit, he goes down, and then Kenneth Bronis character finds him and nurses him back to health.
- 8:56[SPEAKER_02]: And he's like this Russian soldier Woodsey type guy.
- 9:03[SPEAKER_01]: When you think of, when you think of the last few songs, you think of Ryan Reynolds.
- 9:06[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, good work.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_01]: Exactly.
- 9:08[SPEAKER_01]: Funny assassins.
- 9:09[SPEAKER_01]: A funny assassin.
- 9:10[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 9:11[SPEAKER_02]: There's a nod to, like, a top gun in there.
- 9:14[SPEAKER_02]: And you get the feeling, like, the top guns are big influence on this movie.
- 9:19[SPEAKER_02]: Oh.
- 9:19[SPEAKER_02]: It looks like it's going to be fun.
- 9:22[SPEAKER_02]: Capital TV.
- 9:23[SPEAKER_02]: Apped deep.
- 9:23[SPEAKER_02]: I'm sorry.
- 9:24[SPEAKER_02]: You won't be able to watch that.
- 9:24[SPEAKER_02]: I have Apple.
- 9:25[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, oh.
- 9:26[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if you're TV.
- 9:27[SPEAKER_02]: Did you find it for a while?
- 9:28[SPEAKER_02]: No.
- 9:28[SPEAKER_02]: No.
- 9:31[SPEAKER_02]: It's funny for better than a dollar.
- 9:33[SPEAKER_02]: All right, well, there you go.
- 9:35[SPEAKER_02]: And then last but not least, coming on Netflix is called, it's a movie called Teenage Waste Land.
- 9:41[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't see the preview, sorry.
- 9:43[SPEAKER_02]: You didn't miss anything because it looks like, it looks like it's trying to be another Blair which, like, you can't even think of anything.
- 9:50[SPEAKER_02]: Not in that same genre.
- 9:51[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, not in that same, like, spooky thing or whatever, but it's about 1991, it's upstate New York, there's a group of Teenage Miss Fits.
- 10:00[SPEAKER_02]: who are inspired by a Renegade English teacher to embark on a student film project and cover a vast conspiracy that is poisoning the ground underneath their feet.
- 10:09[SPEAKER_02]: So, I only say it's like Blair Witch because it's got that documentary kind of like feel to it.
- 10:14[SPEAKER_02]: I watched the preview and I just went, yeah, okay.
- 10:16[SPEAKER_02]: Anyway, it's on Netflix and it's on Netflix for a reason.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_02]: However, later on, I'm going to be eating my words when we talk about something else that was on Netflix.
- 10:24[SPEAKER_02]: But teenage wasteland, I don't think
- 10:28[SPEAKER_02]: So those are the movies that coming out this week folks, which one is tickling your fancy there, Mr.
- 10:33[SPEAKER_02]: Pants?
- 10:34[SPEAKER_01]: Well, originally by all means.
- 10:38[SPEAKER_01]: But I don't know, Mayday, that's an interesting combination.
- 10:42[SPEAKER_02]: It's a very interesting combination.
- 10:44[SPEAKER_01]: And Kenneth, so maybe I might go that way and save myself the $5 on a Tuesday night.
- 10:48[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, here we go.
- 10:49[SPEAKER_01]: But I do want to see by all means.
- 10:51[SPEAKER_01]: I do like, here's what I like about the previews that I've seen of for by all means.
- 10:57[SPEAKER_01]: It's kind of like a Mississippi burning meets time to kill.
- 11:01[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 11:01[SPEAKER_01]: And I like those kind of movies green book.
- 11:04[SPEAKER_01]: I like movies that I like that.
- 11:06[SPEAKER_01]: So it's a toss-up, but I think I do have a free ticket to a movie.
- 11:15[SPEAKER_01]: So maybe I'll do by all means and use my free ticket.
- 11:20[SPEAKER_01]: I think I'm going with my all means.
- 11:22[SPEAKER_01]: Are we going to do by all means?
- 11:23[SPEAKER_01]: Are you looking to see that one or no?
- 11:25[SPEAKER_02]: Whatever floats your boat.
- 11:26[SPEAKER_02]: No, I'm going to watch
- 11:31[SPEAKER_02]: Are you going to go buy all means?
- 11:33[SPEAKER_02]: Pardon me?
- 11:33[SPEAKER_02]: You're going to go see buy all means?
- 11:35[SPEAKER_02]: I think so.
- 11:35[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 11:36[SPEAKER_02]: Well, I'm going to watch made it.
- 11:37[SPEAKER_01]: Well, maybe you'll see made it too.
- 11:38[SPEAKER_02]: And then there's only made it one.
- 11:40[SPEAKER_01]: Let me make it too.
- 11:41[SPEAKER_01]: Made it as well.
- 11:42[SPEAKER_02]: No, it's not called made it as well.
- 11:44[SPEAKER_01]: No, it's not made it.
- 11:49[SPEAKER_01]: What the hell that was supposed to mean, but okay as well as something that as well as I wish you Not a person of color might use as opposed to two Two important we could say two I'm gonna see two okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay
- 12:09[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, okay.
- 12:11[SPEAKER_01]: That's good then.
- 12:12[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 12:12[SPEAKER_01]: All right, so I'm so you're doing doing doing by any means by any means When I probably see Mayday 2 so I might have a few comments to make I may not I think I think you can just see by any means.
- 12:23[SPEAKER_02]: I think that's that's the way it's going to work.
- 12:24[SPEAKER_02]: Does the mean I'm not going to talk about No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, hey, what country we're in?
- 12:31[SPEAKER_02]: What country are we in?
- 12:32[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, so far no country for old men That's just true.
- 12:34[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, exactly.
- 12:35[SPEAKER_02]: So there we go.
- 12:36[SPEAKER_02]: No, no
- 12:39[SPEAKER_01]: Still, what was the line in, uh, in Caddy Shack?
- 12:44[SPEAKER_01]: This isn't Russia.
- 12:44[SPEAKER_01]: Is it, isn't this, right, we're not in Russia.
- 12:47[SPEAKER_01]: Chevy Chase says to the, it's Caddy.
- 12:49[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, Russia, right?
- 12:50[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 12:52[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 12:54[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 12:55[SPEAKER_02]: All right.
- 12:56[SPEAKER_02]: So, uh, two and a next week, we're going to do, uh, by any means and made it were review those.
- 13:00[SPEAKER_02]: Yep.
- 13:00[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, but now it's time to review the whisper man and before you get started,
- 13:06[SPEAKER_02]: I will say this.
- 13:07[SPEAKER_02]: Stop being creepy.
- 13:08[SPEAKER_02]: Number one.
- 13:09[SPEAKER_01]: Number two.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_01]: That's going to be hard.
- 13:11[SPEAKER_02]: Number two when I when I originally when we were talking about this last week, there were no other movies on the on the list at all that made me want to go, oh yeah, I want to go see that.
- 13:20[SPEAKER_02]: And the secret woman on Netflix just made me go, yeah, no, that's not my type of movie.
- 13:24[SPEAKER_02]: And by default.
- 13:26[SPEAKER_02]: I picked the whisper man because I wasn't I couldn't think of anything else that I wanted to review right because I already done lanterns and you know, whatever.
- 13:34[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm going to eat my words here because what I was going to say last week is yeah, this is going to be one of those and another one of those really bad Robert DeNiro movies that he's only in for like 10 minutes and he really doesn't need to be doing acting anymore and all that kind of stuff because the last movie that we saw, I think it was thin wire right yeah, he was in it for all of 10 minutes and you were like, oh
- 13:53[SPEAKER_01]: Man, man on a wire.
- 13:55[SPEAKER_02]: I thought it was thin wire, but maybe it was man on a wire.
- 13:57[SPEAKER_01]: It's something about the was in the nearo that was Always epichino patino.
- 14:02[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, okay, man, we both thought it was a throwaway row.
- 14:04[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it was totally throwaway.
- 14:06[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, not the case here And and and I'm gonna leave the rest to when it's time for me to review so you can go ahead and give your review of the whisper man
- 14:13[SPEAKER_01]: okay the whisper you're not doing the right nothing i'm not doing well you write the nero and uh uh uh uh kind of an unusual role for Adam Scott
- 14:26[SPEAKER_01]: I thought, kind of a little bit out of his wheelhouse buddy, but he did a okay job.
- 14:32[SPEAKER_01]: Michael Keaton is in it, and one of the things I thought was that they really didn't use Michael Keaton as a kind of a evil guy as well as they could have.
- 14:44[SPEAKER_02]: No, no.
- 14:45[SPEAKER_02]: Beetle juice references you're going to make your own thing like that.
- 14:47[SPEAKER_01]: Because I saw some.
- 14:48[SPEAKER_02]: I asked to saw some Batman references too, no, in some of the stuff you did.
- 14:51[SPEAKER_02]: But that's another story.
- 14:52[SPEAKER_01]: No, I didn't see anything in this one.
- 14:55[SPEAKER_01]: But I think I'm going to start with my rating which I normally don't do, I'm going to give it a six.
- 15:01[SPEAKER_01]: I just really thought it was nothing great.
- 15:06[SPEAKER_01]: The minimal use of Michael Keaton in this movie was I think it was kind of a let down and I missed that opportunity for the
- 15:18[SPEAKER_01]: Director here.
- 15:19[SPEAKER_01]: I thought the directing really wasn't that great to be honest with you.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, so I want to stop you right there And what way could they have used Michael Keaton more based on the character that he played?
- 15:27[SPEAKER_02]: Which by the way spoiler alert Michael Keaton's character in this movie is called Frank Carter That's not the spoiler alert the spoiler alert is he's the whisper man
- 15:36[SPEAKER_01]: the original was here well now you gave the rest of it away I was just saying he was the whisper man right but I don't think that they they kept eluding to him being a way to get to the copycat the copycat but they didn't I didn't think they really you know they were like it was almost like if you remember the movie heat
- 15:59[SPEAKER_01]: with El Pachino.
- 16:00[SPEAKER_02]: You are not going to need to this movie.
- 16:02[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 16:02[SPEAKER_01]: Not the movie.
- 16:03[SPEAKER_01]: I'm just going to say, when I watched heat, I thought heat was an okay movie, but he was a realist.
- 16:09[SPEAKER_01]: There was a scene with Pachino and the Nero in a restaurant where they kind of confront each other and the only part of that movie I didn't care for was that scene because it felt like they
- 16:23[SPEAKER_01]: They were at the end of the movie and they said, you know, we really don't have a scene with these two guys together for any real length of time, except for the chase, and so they came up with this goofy scene in a restaurant where they're having a beer together or something, and the banter is just completely nonsensical.
- 16:42[SPEAKER_01]: And that's kind of what I thought here, too.
- 16:45[SPEAKER_01]: I thought that whole Michael Keaton D'Nerrell scene was kind of not, it was like they, they just kind of put it in there.
- 16:56[SPEAKER_01]: That's my opinion.
- 16:57[SPEAKER_01]: Michelle Morgan, I thought, did a good job as a detective.
- 17:01[SPEAKER_01]: This movie, in my opinion.
- 17:02[SPEAKER_02]: Michelle Monahan.
- 17:04[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, Monahan, I'm sorry.
- 17:05[SPEAKER_01]: I put Morgan, but I have a Michelle, right?
- 17:08[SPEAKER_02]: Baby has started to who?
- 17:10[SPEAKER_02]: Pardon me?
- 17:10[SPEAKER_02]: Baby sitter to who?
- 17:12[SPEAKER_02]: Baby sister to who?
- 17:15[SPEAKER_01]: John Monahan.
- 17:17[SPEAKER_01]: Of course, her dad.
- 17:21[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 17:24[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, in my opinion, it has a lot of holes.
- 17:28[SPEAKER_01]: This movie has a lot of holes.
- 17:29[SPEAKER_01]: I thought it was a little bit boring.
- 17:32[SPEAKER_01]: The directing I thought was kind of boring.
- 17:34[SPEAKER_01]: It was very predictable until the very end.
- 17:38[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm not sure why they ended it that way.
- 17:40[SPEAKER_01]: To be honest with you, I thought it was kind of really odd ending to this movie.
- 17:48[SPEAKER_01]: without giving anything away.
- 17:50[SPEAKER_01]: So that's why I gave it a six.
- 17:51[SPEAKER_01]: I just thought there was, I mean, I watched the whole thing, but there were points where I was like, OK, you know, it's kind of slow the, again, a lot of holes in this movie that seemed kind of, I don't know if it was a directing thing or if it was a writer thing.
- 18:12[SPEAKER_01]: But there were holes in here that I couldn't get past.
- 18:17[SPEAKER_01]: So I gave it a six for the whisper man, and you know me.
- 18:20[SPEAKER_01]: I'm a big denerald guy.
- 18:22[SPEAKER_01]: I like the narrow, but not one of his best.
- 18:26[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 18:27[SPEAKER_01]: That's it, and I'll end on that.
- 18:30[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, and I'll see you no more.
- 18:33[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, you throw the comment down like that, pal.
- 18:36[SPEAKER_01]: I know three people.
- 18:37[SPEAKER_01]: I'm gonna back away from the mic.
- 18:39[SPEAKER_02]: I see you already did it.
- 18:40[SPEAKER_02]: I know three people who are gonna be like, no, you're gonna keep talking.
- 18:44[SPEAKER_02]: All right, so let's talk a little bit about the actual like storyline, because you didn't say anything about that at all.
- 18:50[SPEAKER_02]: You just kinda went to the actors and all the other got his stuff.
- 18:53[SPEAKER_02]: The whole plot of the movie is Adam Scott's is the son of Robert DeNiro.
- 19:00[SPEAKER_02]: Robert DeNiro plays detective, inspector,
- 19:06[SPEAKER_01]: Well, yes, very retired.
- 19:08[SPEAKER_02]: It doesn't matter.
- 19:09[SPEAKER_02]: That's not what I was getting at, but please ignore a interrupt me some more I can't remember the guys last name now.
- 19:16[SPEAKER_02]: Miller, maybe.
- 19:16[SPEAKER_02]: I think that sort of was because I think that was the name on the book Carrot.
- 19:20[SPEAKER_02]: No Kennedy.
- 19:21[SPEAKER_02]: That's what it was.
- 19:21[SPEAKER_02]: So, oh, that's right.
- 19:22[SPEAKER_02]: It's Pete Willes.
- 19:23[SPEAKER_02]: Pete Williams or something like that.
- 19:25[SPEAKER_01]: Willes or something.
- 19:25[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, Pete Willes is the name that Robin DeNiro's character is, but he's
- 19:31[SPEAKER_02]: Tom Kennedy's dad, which is weird because like how do they not have the same last thing, but that's whatever it doesn't matter.
- 19:38[SPEAKER_02]: So, Atos was taking the place Tom Kennedy, Atos Smith of course, no stranger to the silver screen or even the the small screen.
- 19:45[SPEAKER_02]: You probably saw him in Severance, which was on Apple TV, which was weird and interesting all at the same time.
- 19:53[SPEAKER_02]: But basically, they move into this old house from where they used to live.
- 19:59[SPEAKER_02]: And somehow, this house has some secrets inside of it, which we won't get into, because that's pretty much a spoiler for the whole thing.
- 20:07[SPEAKER_02]: But the interesting thing is, is that at the very beginning, did you catch when they opened the door, when they first moved in, did you catch what was in the door?
- 20:14[SPEAKER_02]: or who was in the doorway, when they left the door wide open, when they first got into the house, did you see that?
- 20:20[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 20:21[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 20:21[SPEAKER_02]: So throughout the show, there's a younger cast member, um, I think it's, uh, accident, is that he said Lucas Porto?
- 20:33[SPEAKER_02]: It was that how you, would you say it?
- 20:34[SPEAKER_02]: Would you say it, accident or would it just be a accident?
- 20:36[SPEAKER_01]: The young kid?
- 20:37[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, asked an
- 20:40[SPEAKER_02]: he plays Jake Kennedy which of course is the kid now here's the whole thing so the whisper man is played by Michael Keaton his name in the movie the character name is Frank Carter basically Robert De Nero's character or Pete Wills or Williams or whatever it is is the one that figures out who he is right and the whisper man is basically this guy who abducts children makes them or whispers to them while he's talking to them about certain things makes them draw things and then there's like
- 21:09[SPEAKER_02]: Allo like Freddie Kruger, but not as horrific, but very much like true crime spooky thriller type stuff.
- 21:19[SPEAKER_02]: And basically,
- 21:20[SPEAKER_02]: There's a copycat.
- 21:21[SPEAKER_02]: Somebody else is doing the same thing.
- 21:22[SPEAKER_02]: Now, of course, Frank Carter's locked away in prison.
- 21:25[SPEAKER_02]: So there's something else going on here.
- 21:27[SPEAKER_02]: And you learn about all of that kind of stuff.
- 21:29[SPEAKER_02]: And of course, the, of course, Jake Kennedy is the one who gets, who gets kidnapped.
- 21:35[SPEAKER_02]: And then that's where this whole thing ties in together.
- 21:37[SPEAKER_02]: And that's how the old cop decides to come back and do everything else and all that kind of stuff.
- 21:41[SPEAKER_02]: So,
- 21:42[SPEAKER_02]: it's kind of another one of those same we've seen this this formula if you will about a retired cop comes back just because somehow his family's affected by it so that was kind of like uh but the story I thought I feel like they did a good job with the story they drew you into it I felt like there was enough in it to make you go oh okay so what really is going on
- 22:01[SPEAKER_02]: But then they were like you said there were a lot of holes.
- 22:03[SPEAKER_02]: There were a lot of yeah, that's no dumb person in their right mind Would do some of that stuff.
- 22:09[SPEAKER_02]: And that's where it kind of fell flat The ending was the ending for a reason because it had to end that way otherwise the Promises wouldn't have been kept will just put it that way
- 22:22[SPEAKER_02]: Um, but, you know, it is what it is, right?
- 22:26[SPEAKER_02]: Because if you saw the movie, you know exactly what we're talking about.
- 22:29[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm not going to say any more.
- 22:30[SPEAKER_02]: But that was the whole point of that.
- 22:32[SPEAKER_01]: But basically, it was a double ending.
- 22:35[SPEAKER_01]: And which with that through me, too, it just hurt like double ending.
- 22:38[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I don't want to give it away.
- 22:39[SPEAKER_01]: But something happens in the house.
- 22:45[SPEAKER_01]: at the end of the movie, something happens in the house, and then something happens later on with the Michael Keaton character that doesn't make a lot of sense because of what happened in the house.
- 22:59[SPEAKER_01]: How does it not make sense?
- 23:02[SPEAKER_02]: I don't want to give it away.
- 23:03[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, so the point here is you think somebody ended up perishing and they didn't.
- 23:10[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 23:11[SPEAKER_02]: And then they end up somewhere else.
- 23:12[SPEAKER_02]: Right.
- 23:13[SPEAKER_02]: And that has to happen in order for somebody's promise to be kept, which happens earlier in the movie.
- 23:18[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but does that make sense to you?
- 23:20[SPEAKER_01]: It did make sense.
- 23:20[SPEAKER_01]: What happened in the, I mean, there's no way, in my opinion, that, that,
- 23:26[SPEAKER_01]: that could have happened after the first thing happened.
- 23:30[SPEAKER_02]: Well, first of all, I think they said like nine months later or something like that before the movie, I don't care if it was two years later.
- 23:37[SPEAKER_02]: So there's healing that has to take place, but that fall is healing.
- 23:39[SPEAKER_02]: That fall is not one that's going to kill somebody.
- 23:42[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, please.
- 23:43[SPEAKER_01]: It's not okay.
- 23:45[SPEAKER_02]: I don't agree that's what other thing that I was like that's fine, but they had to do it the way they had to do it So they could solve the story the way they needed to solve the story so that they didn't Story the way they thought it that they were just doing it to do it And again, that's a bad direct to the right is you right because the way that it's a way whole for me Well speaking of holds that's what he felt because I forgot about that but that's the point So they had to tie it up somewhere they couldn't just let it end the way that it ended because what happens if Yeah, they could have no they couldn't have because what happens if somebody decides to go on a tirade in the jail because he didn't get what he wanted
- 24:16[SPEAKER_02]: Why would he go on a tyrant in the jam because the whole point of what was happening in this movie the whole point of why they caught the second killer was because of an agreement that was made And now we're giving more stuff away about the movie than we really need to so we're getting even further into it.
- 24:31[SPEAKER_02]: They tied it up the way Hollywood ties it up as they always do just so that they could tie their story up so that it just tied up I'm guessing so nobody would do a sequel
- 24:39[SPEAKER_02]: Right, that was the point because they didn't want a sequel.
- 24:41[SPEAKER_01]: No, I wouldn't want a sequel had kind of a sequel by making another whisper man in the first place So there's that I just can't I can't buy that that ending.
- 24:50[SPEAKER_01]: That's fine.
- 24:50[SPEAKER_02]: You don't have to you don't have to I'm gonna give it a six and a half because I thought it was
- 24:54[SPEAKER_02]: We're there.
- 24:55[SPEAKER_02]: We're right there.
- 24:56[SPEAKER_02]: I'm six and a half.
- 24:57[SPEAKER_02]: I'm I'm only I'm giving it a six and a half only because of the fact that there were holes in the script a lot that Logically did not make any sense and it was kind of like nobody would do that or you'd have to be really dumb when he comes and send us from other people just to see nobody wants comments from you What nobody wants comments from you everybody else comment about how you don't want comments from him because he keeps talking over me again
- 25:21[SPEAKER_02]: 50 episodes and you can't learn.
- 25:23[SPEAKER_02]: Anyway, it is what it is.
- 25:25[SPEAKER_02]: It's a good movie.
- 25:26[SPEAKER_02]: It's entertaining.
- 25:27[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's what an hour.
- 25:29[SPEAKER_02]: It's a little over an hour and a half.
- 25:31[SPEAKER_02]: It might be like an hour or 40.
- 25:34[SPEAKER_02]: It's not Netflix, so that's a good thing.
- 25:36[SPEAKER_02]: Of course, if you have the dollar version, then you've got to sit through ads.
- 25:39[SPEAKER_01]: I wanted to do my underwear.
- 25:41[SPEAKER_02]: Wow.
- 25:42[SPEAKER_02]: So that's the stuff we need to keep out of the next 50 episodes, please.
- 25:46[SPEAKER_02]: Nobody needs to know what you're wearing when you watch anything.
- 25:49[SPEAKER_01]: The fact that I'm wearing something.
- 25:50[SPEAKER_01]: Wow, that's even grossing.
- 25:52[SPEAKER_02]: That's even grosser.
- 25:54[SPEAKER_02]: That's like that episode of, that's so, the episode was on TV a couple of nights ago.
- 25:59[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe it was last night.
- 26:00[SPEAKER_02]: No, it was two nights ago.
- 26:02[SPEAKER_02]: The big bang theory where he brings in the couch cushion because it's been sat on by somebody who had no underwear on.
- 26:12[SPEAKER_02]: Um, and he brings it into like a cleaners and asks you how much you would cost to disinfect it and all kinds of stuff.
- 26:17[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, because it's been too close to, uh, the scrotal-sectum section of somebody.
- 26:22[SPEAKER_02]: That's where it reminds me of you watching Netflix and, you know, with whatever you're doing.
- 26:27[SPEAKER_02]: That's gross.
- 26:27[SPEAKER_02]: Anyway.
- 26:28[SPEAKER_01]: And he said, what's doing anything?
- 26:29[SPEAKER_01]: And he said, that was sitting in my underwear because I'm not at a theater.
- 26:32[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, but he needs to know that.
- 26:34[SPEAKER_01]: Why not?
- 26:34[SPEAKER_01]: Because they don't.
- 26:36[SPEAKER_01]: This is America.
- 26:37[SPEAKER_01]: Everybody should be wearing underwear.
- 26:42[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 26:42[SPEAKER_01]: This ain't Scotland where all you were to the kilt.
- 26:44[SPEAKER_02]: They don't all, they don't all just wear kilts.
- 26:47[SPEAKER_02]: That's only certain people.
- 26:49[SPEAKER_01]: you know what Mel Gibson said I don't really care you can take my life but you can take away McWirr that doesn't sound like mo Gibson at all.
- 26:57[SPEAKER_02]: It sounds like some Indian Scottish version that you did or something like that.
- 27:00[SPEAKER_02]: It did come on like totally came out Indian Scottish anyway there was for man our review of course six from the guy that nobody cares about six and a half from the other guy that nobody really cares about either so there we go.
- 27:11[SPEAKER_02]: That's okay.
- 27:12[SPEAKER_02]: it's entertaining and that's that's pretty much what it was um other than that I mean like I said there's some holes in it that shouldn't be in there but that's it there's speaking of holes and you want to watch a really good no dinner or movie go get Ronan excellent movie nobody wants to watch Ronan Ronan is excellent man okay speaking of stuff nobody wants to watch let's talk about our favorite thriller TV shows of all time okay
- 27:39[SPEAKER_02]: You have three.
- 27:39[SPEAKER_01]: I got three plus one.
- 27:41[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, wow.
- 27:42[SPEAKER_02]: So that's four.
- 27:42[SPEAKER_01]: I have three and one that I want to watch That I have it.
- 27:47[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but I want to but then how can you even call it because you didn't even watch it So you don't even know if it's good.
- 27:51[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not going to I'm not going to comment about it in terms of review I'm going to comment about it in terms of it's having having read and seen a preview.
- 28:00[SPEAKER_01]: I want to see it.
- 28:02[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, okay So my thriller TV breaking bad
- 28:07[SPEAKER_01]: Twin Peaks and the original fugitive back in the day.
- 28:11[SPEAKER_01]: I'm an old guy and then the movie, the TV series, the thriller series I want to see, because I got Netflix now for a very reasonable price, is a rebel ridge looks really good.
- 28:25[SPEAKER_01]: I haven't seen any yet, so I'll probably binge that.
- 28:28[SPEAKER_01]: By the way, we just binge recently on Netflix.
- 28:32[SPEAKER_01]: No, I'm a bit curious.
- 28:33[SPEAKER_01]: A comedy called Lee Ann.
- 28:37[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, I just sit through two episodes of that last night.
- 28:40[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, here's my, here's my review.
- 28:42[SPEAKER_02]: The doctor episode, and then the old folks episode where they decide to finally let their parents live with them.
- 28:51[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 28:51[SPEAKER_01]: That's a series.
- 28:52[SPEAKER_01]: Here's my review.
- 28:54[SPEAKER_01]: The acting is not great at all, but it's fairly well written and it's got like spontaneous funny moments in it.
- 29:08[SPEAKER_01]: Leon Morgan is a really, really good stand up.
- 29:12[SPEAKER_01]: She's not as great of an actress and whoever is directing this,
- 29:17[SPEAKER_01]: I think they could have said, hey, not so many facial expressions, you know, you don't we don't need a lot a lot of that.
- 29:25[SPEAKER_01]: it looked a little bit too contrived but overall doors and I watched the two seasons I don't know if they're going to do a third or not but it was enjoyable was fun we laughed there's some you know there were some real life kind of moment things going on too which are kind of cool of course the dad is is Clark can't not can't think of his first name but his little sister's Caitlin Clark
- 29:53[SPEAKER_01]: from WMBA.
- 29:54[SPEAKER_01]: So, and he was a really, really prominent comedian for a long time, a very funny guy.
- 29:59[SPEAKER_01]: I always enjoyed his comedy.
- 30:00[SPEAKER_01]: He looks completely different now though.
- 30:02[SPEAKER_01]: And of course whenever you put Ryan Styles in a movie, you're going to have fun TV show.
- 30:07[SPEAKER_01]: A TV show.
- 30:08[SPEAKER_01]: You're going to have a lot of fun.
- 30:09[SPEAKER_01]: Ryan is just that kind of guy that no matter what he does, it says it's funny.
- 30:13[SPEAKER_01]: And a lot of the stuff is him.
- 30:14[SPEAKER_01]: A lot of the funny or moments where he was in him.
- 30:18[SPEAKER_01]: So, it's an
- 30:21[SPEAKER_01]: that you're not, you know, not TNA or people getting slashed or zombies coming back to eat all of us, it's a fun show to watch on Netflix Lee Ann.
- 30:29[SPEAKER_01]: And if Lee Ann Morgan is listening to this, I'm available to open when you go on tour.
- 30:36[SPEAKER_02]: Oh my god.
- 30:39[SPEAKER_02]: Anything for a pitch?
- 30:39[SPEAKER_02]: All right, so I pull the
- 30:43[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and these are a no particular order, but the first one is Penguin, which is on HBO Max, it's of course part of the DC universe.
- 30:53[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's like six episodes, it's pretty cool, very well directed, very well written, and it tells like the story of Penguin and like his rise to crime power.
- 31:03[SPEAKER_02]: It's pretty cool.
- 31:04[SPEAKER_02]: It's a thriller because of the fact of, you know, the crime and all that kind of stuff that's in it.
- 31:10[SPEAKER_02]: Up next, I'm going to save the best for last, even though the last season of this show was kind of eh.
- 31:17[SPEAKER_02]: Up next, where did it go?
- 31:20[SPEAKER_02]: There it is.
- 31:20[SPEAKER_02]: True detective, it's, you know, it's been on since like 2014.
- 31:26[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's been around for a while for a reason.
- 31:28[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's pretty good.
- 31:32[SPEAKER_02]: Got some interesting people in Vince Vaughn, Colin Farrell, you know, so Not bad, and then last but not least, Dexter Can't get enough of this show Really wish that they would finally finish up her and finish up the last couple of the next season of the The New York version of this show Which I can't think of off the top of my head, but I'll get to it in just a second here I think it's new blood.
- 31:57[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's what it's called
- 31:59[SPEAKER_02]: But I love Dexter from the first one when I saw it and I think you will too.
- 32:04[SPEAKER_02]: It is on HBO Max.
- 32:05[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's HBO Max.
- 32:08[SPEAKER_02]: I know it's also still available on Netflix as well too for a little bit.
- 32:12[SPEAKER_02]: I think you have to have show time through HBO Max in order to be able to see it, but anyway, it's out there, it's a great show if you haven't seen it, it's pretty, pretty well known, pretty critically acclaimed as well.
- 32:23[SPEAKER_02]: So, those are my picks.
- 32:26[SPEAKER_02]: I kept it simple and short like you, because you seem to be on like a three, three tirade for some reason, I don't know why.
- 32:32[SPEAKER_02]: Anyway, that's the episode folks.
- 32:33[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you very much, episode 50 50.
- 32:35[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, congratulations 50 years.
- 32:39[SPEAKER_01]: Not many people make the golden wedding or golden 50 years.
- 32:44[SPEAKER_01]: What are you smoking with those?
- 32:47[SPEAKER_01]: It's the golden anniversary.
- 32:49[SPEAKER_01]: It's an episode not a year.
- 32:50[SPEAKER_01]: I know, but it's a golden anniversary.
- 32:53[SPEAKER_01]: Still golden anniversary.
- 32:54[SPEAKER_01]: That's fine.
- 32:55[SPEAKER_01]: Would have been nice of you to brought me something.
- 32:56[SPEAKER_01]: I did.
- 32:59[SPEAKER_02]: Not my fault, you don't like all.
- 33:00[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, because your breath stinks, you need outtoids.
- 33:04[SPEAKER_02]: Anyway, that's going to do it for the episode folks.
- 33:06[SPEAKER_02]: Next week, we'll talk about our favorite classic TV shows.
- 33:08[SPEAKER_02]: So these are shows from like the 90s and before.
- 33:12[SPEAKER_01]: OK, I know a few of those.
- 33:13[SPEAKER_02]: I'm sure you do.
- 33:14[SPEAKER_02]: I'm sure Kojak would be one in three.
- 33:16[SPEAKER_01]: Kojak.
- 33:17[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 33:18[SPEAKER_02]: We know how much you love him.
- 33:19[SPEAKER_02]: In care for him.
- 33:20[SPEAKER_02]: He's better color than Colombo.
- 33:21[SPEAKER_01]: Nobody's better than you.
- 33:23[SPEAKER_01]: Of course.
- 33:24[SPEAKER_01]: Nobody.
- 33:25[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I'll do it Tuesday.
- 33:26[SPEAKER_02]: Peter Falk is in his name.
- 33:28[SPEAKER_02]: something like that.
- 33:29[SPEAKER_01]: The actor.
- 33:30[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 33:30[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 33:30[SPEAKER_02]: There you go.
- 33:31[SPEAKER_02]: So that's where we're going to do we're going to talk about our favorite classic TV shows.
- 33:35[SPEAKER_02]: He will review by any means, which by the way, he, which by the way, he does, he does, he does not watch that.
- 33:41[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 33:42[SPEAKER_02]: Let me finish what I'm saying and then take the damn call.
- 33:44[SPEAKER_02]: All right.
- 33:45[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah.
- 33:47[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, he's not going to watch that in his underwear, but don't worry about it.
- 33:49[SPEAKER_02]: And then of course we're going to review Mayday.
- 33:51[SPEAKER_02]: And I didn't know this, but now we have a guest call.
- 33:53[SPEAKER_02]: You might want to make sure that you hold the phone close enough to the microphones so that this individual could be right.
- 33:57[SPEAKER_01]: We have a guest caller.
- 33:58[SPEAKER_01]: He's been on the show.
- 34:00[SPEAKER_01]: No, before.
- 34:01[SPEAKER_02]: Well, Latino, what's going on, buddy?
- 34:06[SPEAKER_00]: Not that much is going on, but I'm ready to do my original resilience.
- 34:12[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, well, we're kind of at the end of the show.
- 34:14[SPEAKER_01]: So you don't have a whole lot of time here, okay?
- 34:17[SPEAKER_00]: All right, how much do I have to work with?
- 34:19[SPEAKER_01]: About 30 seconds.
- 34:21[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, well, maybe a minute.
- 34:23[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, our rating is definitely a 9.9 out of 10.
- 34:30[SPEAKER_00]: I think there was not really much to bad about it, but there's always room to improve.
- 34:37[SPEAKER_00]: That's why you always gotta give it that 9.9.
- 34:42[SPEAKER_00]: Um, but yeah, that was a pretty great movie.
- 34:44[SPEAKER_00]: This action scenes were awesome.
- 34:47[SPEAKER_00]: My heart felt like a roller coaster with the twists and turns and unexpected pop-ups with characters and things.
- 34:55[SPEAKER_00]: And I just felt like Tom Owens and the day and John Burmthaw did a great job acting as their characters, puttershers, spider-man, and Mary Jane Watson,
- 35:10[SPEAKER_02]: Well, that's more than I said when I reviewed it, yeah, because you couldn't remember having what's your favorite portion of the movie because because by now everyone except for your dad has seen it, but anyway, that's what's the point that don't give too much away because your dad hasn't seen he's going to get mad at me He's going to get mad at me for spoiling it on the show Spoil away pal, it's been out long enough, he's got no excuse
- 35:35[SPEAKER_00]: Blimey and Repair of the movie was probably the ending scene when you see John Burham thought dressed up as fighter man like doing all the thumbs up for the fans and pretending that he's Peter while Peter's truckin was escaped to hospital.
- 35:53[SPEAKER_01]: Okay very good.
- 35:55[SPEAKER_00]: That was just one of the funny scenes ever.
- 35:57[SPEAKER_01]: So 9 out of 9 right you said 9.9.
