- 0:19J. Cole, baby, love it.
- 0:25You know, whenever I hear this track, it reminds me of Stephen
- 0:29A Smith. If you listen to his break in
- 0:31this song, I feel like he's talking Stephen A Smith, like J.
- 0:36Cole is talking like he's Stephen A Smith.
- 0:38Very cocky, confident and sticks it.
- 0:41So I every time I hear this track, it reminds me of Stephen
- 0:45A Smith. I don't know.
- 0:46So anyways, you're listening to Java and the mouth.
- 0:52I am. I guess I'm the scary mouth
- 0:54tonight. I'm the one in the only arrow
- 0:56marks. My ghosts missed a flamethrower
- 0:59and he's not throwing any flames tonight.
- 1:01I think I'm doing all the flame throwing tonight.

- 1:39Welcome to go my lady, I've often heard.
- 1:41That you'd give me a warm. Welcome if ever we met again.
- 1:47In like Flynn Flynn, Flynn. All righty, ladies and
- 1:53gentlemen. You guys are going to like this
- 1:56one. And I was thinking heavily about
- 2:00this before the show and it just transitions into this.
- 2:04Ladies and gentlemen, my in like Flynn tonight is very specific,
- 2:09very enjoyable and you guys are in for a tailspin.
- 2:14You like that I was like a Disney thing right there,
- 2:16Speedy, you like that? I I think it was it was a great,
- 2:20great flip. All right, ladies and gentlemen,
- 2:22tonight's in like Flynn is the greatest San Diego Chargers of
- 2:29all time. And I, I am not going to change
- 2:33it because this is what I was doing before the show and I was,
- 2:36I was trying to hunt on how I'm going to attack this and I'm
- 2:40going to attack it tonight. Why not?
- 2:42Ladies and gentlemen, at #10 now, I, I checked out a lot of
- 2:46different, you know, statistics and rankings the way some of the
- 2:51these guys are ranking these players.
- 2:53And I thought rancorrancor.com gives you the best list as far
- 2:58as I'm concerned because they Add all the players.
- 3:01I disagree on a lot of them, but I have their rankings.
- 3:04All right, so at #10 they got Fred Dean. 73 year old Fred Dean
- 3:10played a significant amount of time.
- 3:14He was a great player for the Chargers.
- 3:16There's no question that he was. I wasn't alive to see him.
- 3:19I would not put him in my top ten.
- 3:21I would not I, I, I don't remember Fred Dean as far as I'm
- 3:24concerned, I've heard about him, but I wouldn't put him on my top
- 3:28hat 10 if I, I haven't seen him specifically on my lists.
- 3:32I'm going to go at #10 who they ranked at number.
- 3:36Hold on, I, I got a moment right over here at #16 I think he's
- 3:41much higher than this. I'm going to go with Vincent
- 3:43Jackson. Vincent Jackson was one of the
- 3:46more under underrated wide receivers. 42 year old
- 3:50Quickenjammer played with him. He's sensational, great size,
- 3:54great ability, leaping ability. This guy had some sensational
- 3:57seasons with Philip Rivers. When everybody talks about the
- 4:00weapons that they had, like Damien Thomas in, they had one
- 4:03of the best tight ends in the world and out of all time.
- 4:06People forget about Vincent Jackson and how long and how
- 4:09athletic he was. I would put Vincent Jackson at
- 4:13#10 at #9 They have Melvin Ingram who's still in the
- 4:17league, you know, hopping around in different places.
- 4:20I would not put Melvin Ingram in my top ten.
- 4:23I don't know why they have him in my top ten.
- 4:25That's ridiculous. He's not as good as they made
- 4:28him out to be. That could never stay healthy
- 4:30when he was over there with the Chargers.
- 4:31He's still 36 years old and still playing in the NFL.
- 4:34But I'm going to go with Eric Weddell.
- 4:36Eric Weddell to me is a borderline Hall of Famer, one of
- 4:40the great safeties in the league.
- 4:42I I love the way he play hard nose reminded me a lot of us of
- 4:46of different safeties in the past and comparable to a couple
- 4:50of safeties that are on the league right now.
- 4:52Fun to watch. He always was a ball hawk hawk
- 4:55and he he know how to blitz in any kind of defense that he ran.
- 4:59So I'm going Eric Weddell #9 at #8 they have the great Antonio
- 5:05Cromartie. I think he's higher than that.
- 5:08So at #5 and I'm going to, I'm going to say this because I
- 5:14actually, no, you don't want. I'm not going to.
- 5:17I, I, I got to put him in. I, I'm going to take, I'm going
- 5:21to take it. I'm going to move Antonio
- 5:22Cromartie up a little bit. I'm going to add this guy
- 5:26because I'm looking at it. I'm going to go with John
- 5:27Carney. John Carney, one of the best
- 5:29kickers, one of the greatest kickers of all time, should be
- 5:32in the Hall of Fame. I don't know if he is yet, but
- 5:36he to me is one of the greatest kickers of all time.
- 5:39I think he had the longest kick in NFL history at one point.
- 5:42I think it was 62 yards. And it was broken recently, I
- 5:45think by Tucker. And then somebody else broke it
- 5:48from I think the Cowboys kicker broke it.
- 5:51Yeah. So I'm going to go with the
- 5:52kicker. I'm going to put him there and
- 5:54that's my kicker. I'm going to put Sean Carney at
- 5:57#7 I am going to put. Well, they had Sean Merriman,
- 6:01love Sean Merriman. He's been on the show.
- 6:04I would not put Sean Merriman in my top ten.
- 6:06I think he was very overrated. That's just my opinion.
- 6:10I thought he was overrated. He had two great seasons and I
- 6:13know Sean wouldn't want to hear this.
- 6:15I, I, it seems like I like to piss off charge of players, but
- 6:19I, I would not put him there. I would move him out.
- 6:23I think Sean Merriman's number 11, I think he's on outside
- 6:25looking in. There's too many great players
- 6:28at #7. I would put Antonio Kamardi.
- 6:31I think Antonio Kamardi is one of the greatest safeties.
- 6:33I mean greatest corners, DBS they've ever had.
- 6:36I remember when he was drafted, had a sensational career over
- 6:38there and then he went to The Jets.
- 6:39It was sensational. I I think he was very
- 6:42underrated, very run underrated over there with that defense at
- 6:46when it was at the top of its game.
- 6:48He was one of the best corners in the league for a very long
- 6:50time. So I put Antonio Kamardi at #7.
- 6:54At number six, they have Phillip Rivers.
- 6:57I think they're crazy. I think Phillip Rivers should be
- 6:59higher than that. I would say at number six, I'm
- 7:02going to put a 10 at tight end. He is a Hall of Famer and we
- 7:05know his son Kellen Winslow was a great, great player.
- 7:09There's no question he was a great player.
- 7:11But I in the top, in the top five, I wouldn't put him there.
- 7:18I there's just so many other great players and I just
- 7:21wouldn't put him there. So I put Kellen Winslow at #6 I
- 7:27sensational player, Hall of Famer, one of the greatest tight
- 7:29ends of all time, but I wouldn't put him on my top five at #5
- 7:33they have Kellen Winslow. I'm going to have Lance
- 7:37Allsworth now. He was a wide receiver.
- 7:40He's one of the greatest underrated wide receivers of all
- 7:43time. If you look at his numbers,
- 7:45they're comparable to some of the elite wide receivers of all
- 7:48time. He is.
- 7:49He was a special player and he was one of the elite guys in
- 7:53that sand with those San Diego Charger teams, the elite San
- 7:56Diego Charger team. So I'm going to go Lance
- 7:58Allsworth at #5 at #4 I'm going to go, well, they have Lance
- 8:05Allsworth. I have Antonio Gates, one of the
- 8:09greatest tight ends. I think you could put him in the
- 8:12top three of all time. You can argue that he was just
- 8:15fun to watch. Big Long play basketball.
- 8:19Fun, fun player. Very exciting and extreme when
- 8:24it comes to the media work. When he spoke to the media,
- 8:27always had a smile on his face. Love to watch him play.
- 8:30I would have him at #4 at #2 I'm going to put junior, say how
- 8:37junior say how. I know a lot of people put him
- 8:39in my top 2. They're top 2 and they have him
- 8:42in the top two. I love junior, say how I loved
- 8:45him. He was great everywhere he went.
- 8:48Greatest I, you could argue top five greatest linebackers ever
- 8:51play the game. Some people put him in the top
- 8:53three Hall of Famer special sad what happened to junior say how
- 8:58and my heart goes out to him and his family.
- 9:00I everything that he did, he did it right on the football field.
- 9:04Great team leader, great player, knew how to blitz, knew how to
- 9:07get to the quarterback. Very good in coverage.
- 9:10Probably the best coverage linebacker to ever play the
- 9:12game. I put junior say how at #3 at #2
- 9:18I'm going to have to put Phillip Rivers.
- 9:20Phillip Rivers was fun to watch. I, I said it and I've always
- 9:27loved the guy. Window thrower, one of the more
- 9:29accurate quarterbacks of the league when he was at the top of
- 9:32his game. I everything he did with his
- 9:35personality, his flair, You like him, you hate him, everybody.
- 9:40He was one of the most hated players in the league, but one
- 9:43of the most loved players on his team.
- 9:45Everything about him screams to me of super stardom.
- 9:49The guy's a Hall of Fame. I don't know if he's first
- 9:51ballot, but he is on the ballot this year.
- 9:53He will get into the Hall of Fame and Steve Weich will be
- 9:55owing me a nice steak dinner, so I'm going.
- 9:58Phillip Rivers at #2 and at #1. He played for The Jets and he
- 10:04played for this team. He was traded for one of the
- 10:07greatest speed demon quarterbacks of all time.
- 10:10You know what I'm talking about. Speedy.
- 10:12Michael Vick was traded for Ladainian Thomlson.
- 10:16If people forget, Ladainian Thomlson is one of the greatest
- 10:21running backs to ever play the game.
- 10:22His workouts were strategic and uncomparable.
- 10:27The things that this guy did off the field are insane.
- 10:31I never seen a guy work out like this guy.
- 10:34His training methods were sick and on the football field,
- 10:38right. Some people would say it was
- 10:39Barry Sanders esque him and Saquon are the closest to Barry
- 10:43Sanders. The guy spinned.
- 10:45He his agility, his athletic ability.
- 10:48He wasn't big, but he was so strong.
- 10:51His leg strength was just ridiculous.
- 10:54I I mean, if you watch his workouts, they were ridiculous.
- 10:57I mean, this guy was the greatest running back of this
- 11:00era. I think you could argue that he
- 11:02was. I'm going with Damian Thomas as
- 11:04the number one greatest Charger of all time.
- 11:09There is quarterbacks and there is a quarterback that should
- 11:12have been on this list, but I didn't put him there because
- 11:15there's so many great players. The Chargers had that and I
- 11:19didn't put a lot of defensive players.
- 11:20They were all really offensive players.
- 11:23I but Antonio Kamardi is definitely on my list.
- 11:26I, I loved Antonio Kamardi, I really did.
- 11:28So I put him higher than a lot of guys because I just love the
- 11:33way he played and when he was a Jet he was my him and Darrelle
- 11:36Revis were arguably my favorite players.
- 11:39So I wasn't a brilliant Edwards fan that's for sure.
- 11:42And I wasn't a Bart Scott fan either.
- 11:44So I but I loved Antonio Camardi and I think they were the best
- 11:48duo The Jets have ever had. And as far as secondaries in the
- 11:52league for like 3 years they had the best.
- 11:54I don't think you can argue the Revis Island and Crow.
- 11:57I mean, when they played at the top level, I don't think anybody
- 12:00wanted to throw on either side. So one was mean and and played
- 12:05mean. And I'm talking about Dora
- 12:06Rivas. And the other guy was
- 12:08athletically gifted, long and and had the agility to do a lot
- 12:11of things and intercept the ball, which by the way, I think
- 12:13I won. I think one season he had like
- 12:1513 interceptions or some ridiculous number with the
- 12:18Chargers. I I don't know exactly the
- 12:20number he was. He was, I think he had three in
- 12:22the in the one game that Peyton Manning threw 6 interceptions.
- 12:25And I remember that he had an unbelievable season.
- 12:28He was up. He was our first, first team all
- 12:31defensive player. And Crow, I think it was early
- 12:33in his career when he did it too.
- 12:35He was fun to watch and I loved Crow.
- 12:38So I no, nobody, nobody including yours truly would ever
- 12:42take A and I think he was the only defensive player I picked
- 12:46in. I think he was the only
- 12:47defensive player I bet. Yeah, because the the two pass
- 12:49rushers at the beginning and Fred Dean was 100 sack plus he.
- 12:52Wasn't in my top ten he. Wasn't in your top ten?
- 12:54And then Melvin Inger, I was surprised with that number. 9
- 12:56Eric Weddell Eric Weddell. Weddell should have been much
- 12:59higher. Eleven.
- 13:00Was Nick Hardwick on your list? He was a good center.
- 13:02I would have taken him over. Ingram, too.
- 13:03And then Carney, who's also been on our show last year as well.
- 13:06Carney is definitely one of the greatest kickers.
- 13:08The greatest kickers. All time.
- 13:10I mean, he's got to be in my top ten, but they had a lot of other
- 13:13good players that we didn't. Sean Merriman, he was there.
- 13:16I'm not a big Melvin Ingram fan. No, he's way too high on this
- 13:20list, Louis. Kelcher was also on this list.
- 13:24Sid Gilman, Jamal Williams, Austin Eckler, Ron Mix.
- 13:30They were great players. Williams was a good nose tackle
- 13:32too. Kind of played right with
- 13:33Merriman on those teams. And I loved Vincent Jackson,
- 13:36loved the way he played. They rest in peace.
- 13:38By the way, I loved Vincent Jackson, everything about him.
- 13:41So it's a shame that he he got he's gone so early in his career
- 13:45and his life. So I loved watching him play.
- 13:48All right, ladies and gentlemen, we got King of the Hill.
- 13:51Here's the King of the Hill. This, Bobby, is the Beltline.
- 13:55You never ever hit below that. Not that kind of king of the
- 13:58hill, you dumb. This is King of the Hill.
- 14:04All right guys, welcome to King of the Hill.
- 14:11This game is a good one. We don't do it that all that
- 14:13often anymore, but if you haven't seen in the past, we
- 14:15used to. We have 3 rounds.
- 14:17We got some trivia and we're going to compete for a chance to
- 14:20take on the king. The king is Errol Marks.
- 14:22The winner has a chance to dethrone the king, but first
- 14:25they got to go to the peasant fight.
- 14:26Well, they'll take on each other with a question and then Errol
- 14:30will decide who will take on finals each other in the joust
- 14:36with a cut. My endo.
- 14:37To make it to the last round to take on the king.
- 14:40But we. Will vote democratically to try
- 14:43to overthrow his tyrannical monarchy.
- 14:47Are you guys ready to play King of the Hill?
- 14:50Let's. Do it.
- 14:52All right, here we go. Let's get the camera set.
- 14:55Let's get the king up top. I'll get in the jester's chair.
- 14:59And guys, we have it set up right here.
- 15:02I'm going to show you the category.
- 15:03We'll go in this order from left to right.
- 15:04Jabba, Speedy, Jarrett, and then Tommy will go twice and we'll
- 15:08snake back around the other way. Here it is.
- 15:12They put it back up with the first round, round one peasant
- 15:19fight. I want you guys to tell us who
- 15:25you think are the best defensive players of the 2025 just season.
- 15:33So I want you to go through it. You can get some PFF rankings up
- 15:37there and are not your favorite. Maybe you want to get some more
- 15:39traditionalist rankings, you know.
- 15:42He says PFF isn't his favorite, but he used it in the opener
- 15:46today at PFL. Well, that's because I had to
- 15:49someone. Made it was a good point to
- 15:56make. The Giants gave up on a guy who
- 15:58is 18th overall, a defensive tackle and and Brave was like,
- 16:03yeah, we'll take them. Thanks.
- 16:05You suck. So you guys are going to tell me
- 16:09those guys. So let's get into that our our
- 16:11camera setup and we'll start our game right now.
- 16:17Start with Java Chamberlain. I mean, obviously everybody's
- 16:21going to go obviously now here, but I I'd like watching Will
- 16:24Anderson, just his speed there. There was a play a couple weeks
- 16:28ago. Just his relentlessness have
- 16:30never given up on a play and how he's able to just come up the
- 16:34edge and even drop into coverage and just to see like how
- 16:39effective he is and like how he's evolved his game into into
- 16:43what it is. I just like seeing dudes like
- 16:46that and he I wouldn't want to meet him in a dark alley.
- 16:49So he he gets another point for that as well.
- 16:52Complete player by year 3. Pretty awesome.
- 16:55He's probably A6 tool player if you know what I mean.
- 16:58I don't want to know what you mean, but I guess I sunk into
- 17:03my. Head.
- 17:03That's for a difference. And I asked you if it hangs left
- 17:06to right. Now you're giving me about tools
- 17:09and what kind of tool. I'm trying to estimate what it
- 17:12looks like. By the way, Fisher Analytics, if
- 17:18we ever do bring that back, we're doing Nathan versus Java.
- 17:23Well. What happened to Nathan?
- 17:29It's time for speed, he's answer.
- 17:31All right, I'll go with his teammate.
- 17:32The one that Errol you kind of mentioned before has been the
- 17:35best corner in football so far this season.
- 17:36That's Derek Stingley. Even against bigger bodied
- 17:39receivers who's been his weakness in his career, he's
- 17:41still been locked down. He's there were one stretches in
- 17:44the year where he had an under 50 QBR allowed when he was
- 17:49targeted in coverage. So granted, we've mentioned OK,
- 17:52the AFC S soft schedule to an extent understandable, but the
- 17:54rest of the schedule is still pretty easy.
- 17:56And when the offense wasn't doing anything, like the defense
- 17:58really had held their own and seeing there's a huge reason
- 18:00why. I mean, I'll take Miles Garrett,
- 18:0219 sacks right now, probably won't break the record this
- 18:06year. I mean, he's going to win
- 18:08Defensive Player of the year. He probably should be getting
- 18:11more consideration for MVP to be honest.
- 18:14I agree with. You If it wasn't just a
- 18:16quarterback award now, you probably would be the MVP.
- 18:19Mom, if their team wasn't God awful, but well, that.
- 18:22Too, but they would be the. Worst, it's a.
- 18:26Pretty good point he is. Unstoppable Tommy all right, so
- 18:31I'm going to actually go TJ Watt.
- 18:33Of course Watt has had I would say more explosive other
- 18:36seasons. But the thing with the TJ Watt
- 18:39is you get this explosiveness that you don't get at a miles
- 18:41Garrett, the way he just he just rushes an edge.
- 18:45It's just like unnatural. It's absolutely unnatural.
- 18:48It's absolutely amazing to see him watch this year.
- 18:51There's certain times in a game you could see, you know, of
- 18:53course, double pressure on the edge to try to double team TJ,
- 18:55get TJ Watt. I'm gonna say TJ Garrett almost
- 18:58makes both their names together or it just ends up being.
- 19:01A. Steelers linebacker.
- 19:02That or Steelers. Play that blowjob.
- 19:04Getting the blitz for them, so I'm going to go with TJ Watt and
- 19:07the other player I'm going to go with.
- 19:09Is JC. Horn, I'm going to go with JC
- 19:11Horn as one of the best coverage cornerbacks, probably the best
- 19:15quarterback in the league right now.
- 19:18He is one of the best corners, like I said.
- 19:19And the fact that, you know, the Panthers are staying in these
- 19:22close games, the fact that the Panthers are still staying in
- 19:24the playoff race this late in the season is definitely because
- 19:28on the backhand of JC Horn as one of the main components of
- 19:31why they're still hanging around.
- 19:32So I'm going to go with JC Horn. I remember when that kid was
- 19:35drafted when when healthy, I remember his father.
- 19:40His father was great and this guy when he was, that's amazing
- 19:43healthy If he stays healthy, this guy is one of the best
- 19:46corners in the league. So.
- 19:50Jared. I'm going to go a player near
- 19:54and dear to my heart as a Baylor fan.
- 19:57This guy deserves a statue of Baylor.
- 19:59Jalen Petrie for the Texans. He's been one of the best
- 20:02safeties in the league this year.
- 20:04Like the best opponent quarterback ratings in the
- 20:07league right now. It's like a holding quarterbacks
- 20:10to 7 yards an attempt. No touchdowns on the year given
- 20:13up by him. One of the best safeties in the
- 20:16league. Absolutely deserving of some
- 20:17praise. They asked Derrick Henry who's
- 20:20the person that can tackle him the best the other day he said
- 20:24Jalen Petrie. Jalen Petrie's.
- 20:27The man, that's an honor if you can tackle Derrick Henry with
- 20:30some oomph. Didn't they make the rules?
- 20:34Didn't they make the rule because Derrick Henry when dude
- 20:36pulled out his dreads because that was the only way he could
- 20:38get him down? No, that was Tori Smith a while
- 20:40back was the first one, and then they.
- 20:41Made that after. That.
- 20:44There were a couple of guys that got pulled down by their dreads
- 20:47over the years just like that. But that rule really got
- 20:52publicized with Smith. Well, that was Palamala with a
- 20:54$4 million insurance policy. If he played offense, he would
- 20:58have needed that. By the way, man, he did not age
- 21:03well. I just saw him at Palomalu.
- 21:06Palomalu did not age. I'd say.
- 21:09I didn't know. I'm not.
- 21:11He didn't age very good. Go look at what he looks like.
- 21:13I hate to see. It he should have got the extra
- 21:17the conditioner. Yeah, he needs to do something.
- 21:19Head and shoulders. All right, I think we're back to
- 21:25speed at this point for Java or? 2.
- 21:28No, no, I'm not. I was.
- 21:28Going to say I can do. It I didn't do it, I didn't.
- 21:31Do it speeding. Give your answer.
- 21:32Give your answer. Well, we're keeping the same
- 21:34theme here. A lot of Texans here.
- 21:35I'll go with the other edge rusher, too.
- 21:36That's not a very Goodyear. It's Neil Hunter, a guy that's
- 21:38quietly on track to a Hall of Fame career right now.
- 21:41He's at over over 100 sacks right now.
- 21:43What he was, he was smaller player at the beginning, really
- 21:46bulked up and he's been very consistent and a big helping out
- 21:49alongside Will Anderson as well. And that other edges to moving
- 21:51teams with the Vikings, a whole new defense.
- 21:53He had to learn to the last couple years and he's been
- 21:55phenomenal again this year. All right, Java.
- 22:00I'm going to go Aidan Hutchinson and I'm going to go Aidan
- 22:03because coming off his injury, obviously he's better than what
- 22:09he's shown. But to to come through wet and
- 22:11still have 8 1/2 sacks and, and still didn't look like he's lost
- 22:15the step. And, you know, hats off to him
- 22:18for coming back and still being the player that he is.
- 22:22And then I'm going to go with probably not at the very popular
- 22:26choice, but Micah Parsons, I mean, still obviously not having
- 22:31a great year, but not a terrible year.
- 22:34He's got 12 1/2 sacks and, you know, 38 tackles.
- 22:36So he's still doing his. I don't know if a lot of people
- 22:39like the trade, but yeah, I'm going those two all.
- 22:43Right, Speedy. All right, I'll go first time,
- 22:45first one with an inside linebacker here, a guy that's
- 22:47played very well amidst all the rest of the team's team, the
- 22:50rest of his team getting hurt pretty much too.
- 22:51Java. You mentioned one of his team is
- 22:52already with Hutchinson. I'm going to say Jack Campbell,
- 22:54a guy that's been really good in coverage as well and could do
- 22:56one of the best runt run stopping tacklers in the league.
- 22:59And this is a team that's really banged up on offense.
- 23:00They're playing. It's a lot of really good
- 23:02running games in that division with the Bears and the Packers.
- 23:05And he's been having a phenomenal year.
- 23:07I questioned when they drafted him.
- 23:08At the time I thought it was a reach.
- 23:09But he's been a very good player and this is his best season of
- 23:11his career so far. Jared.
- 23:16I'm going to go with the I think he'll be the defensive rookie of
- 23:19the year this year. Carson Schwenzinger for the for
- 23:23the Browns, but very good linebacker.
- 23:25I think he's like 6th or 7th in the league in tackles.
- 23:28He's also got 2 interceptions. I mean, it's not just Miles
- 23:31Garrett. Why?
- 23:32The Browns have a good defense. Everyone else hasn't
- 23:34contributed, but I think Schwenzinger has contributed in
- 23:36a big way for that team. All right, and finish off the
- 23:40first Round Top. Boots, I'm going to go Kevin
- 23:42Byard from the Chicago Bears. Byard honestly, has been one of
- 23:46the better, I would say coverage cornerback.
- 23:49I'm sorry, cover Shakies. He's had pretty good tackling
- 23:52years the last couple of years. Had a good season with the
- 23:54Eagles on his on the back half of that season as well.
- 23:57He's been absolutely a phenomenal safety for the Bears
- 24:00the past two years and I'm pretty sure he he definitely
- 24:02leads the league in interceptions this year.
- 24:05So give me Kevin Byard, safety from the Bears.
- 24:11All right, Errol, who are the two people moving on to the
- 24:14joust? All right, I'm going to go with
- 24:18Jarrett. I like his pigs.
- 24:20I thought he was reaching and he did get he did get Miles
- 24:23Garrett. So I have to give him.
- 24:25I have to move them on. The guys haven't to me just the
- 24:29game changing here. So I'm going Jarrett and I'm
- 24:32going to go with Java. All right, Jarrett and Java,
- 24:36other guys pop on out and let's get it back on up Round 2, the
- 24:44joust and let's see the question for our finalists.
- 24:48Best under 500 team in the league right now.
- 24:54So basically I'm asking you to tell me who are the best bad
- 24:58teams in the league? Bring up the standings.
- 25:01They have to be under 500, can't be 500, need to be under. 500
- 25:06they're not at 500. No below 500.
- 25:09That's why we can do this in the first round.
- 25:11I think it's something a lot of people say.
- 25:14Oh, they're they're bad, but they're a good, bad team.
- 25:18I want to hear or who are the best or unlucky.
- 25:23Maybe Pythagoras and his theorem doesn't smile on him this year.
- 25:27All right, but you need to tell us right now, Harold.
- 25:31Who's going first? I'll go Jabba the.
- 25:36Jar all right. I'm going to New York Jets.
- 25:41No, I'm I'm not. I'm being not being super
- 25:44sarcastic, but everybody went from they're they've got good
- 25:49talent. Shut up scoops, but didn't
- 25:53expect them to win three games. But what why say they are is
- 25:57because I kind of look towards what they're going to do.
- 26:00They're believing in a coach because you didn't expect them
- 26:02to win three games at this point.
- 26:04You had them win in two, maybe 3 at the beginning of the year,
- 26:08and they're probably going to end up with the rest of their
- 26:09schedule probably winning four, maybe 5.
- 26:13And so I look at it as a team that you expect actually dog
- 26:16shit from to actually go out and win games and believe in a coach
- 26:20and show a little bit of fight when they haven't shown it
- 26:23before. So I mean, yeah, you probably
- 26:26thought I was going to be like sarcastic and but I like, no,
- 26:31they they're not as bad. I mean, they're bad, but not as
- 26:34bad as people thought they were going to be.
- 26:37All right, Jared. I love bad quarterback play, so
- 26:42I'm going to go with the Cleveland Browns.
- 26:44They have one of the best defenses in the league.
- 26:46They so they can hang in any game, which means what their
- 26:49quarterback does matters. And it's going to be wildly
- 26:52entertaining watching them just throw the ball all over the
- 26:54field Willy nilly and doing stupid stuff that's fun to watch
- 26:58for a bad team. I was a big Will Levis guy that
- 27:01was must watch TV every week of what he was going to pull out
- 27:03there should doers now must watch TV of what Sean Master
- 27:07he's going to try out there, but it's going to be in a big
- 27:09situation because the defense will keep them in the game.
- 27:13Second pick. I'm going to go to Cincinnati
- 27:14Bengals. I don't think they're really bad
- 27:17like they are a bad team, but a lot of that's because they've
- 27:19missed Joe Burrow all season long.
- 27:21They play no defense, which makes games fun and then they
- 27:24can still score. I mean, it was fun watching Joe
- 27:27Flacco at year 27 or whatever it is just, you know, sling the
- 27:31pill around Burrows going to do that.
- 27:33Now there's They're fun games to watch with the Bengals.
- 27:37All right. Jabba, I'm probably going to go
- 27:41commanders. It's just we're it's it's tough,
- 27:46it's tough sledding around these waters right here when you get
- 27:50to this point. Because if if there was 500
- 27:52teams, like you'd have a little bit of a shot.
- 27:57But yeah, I just for me that they've shown glimpses of kind
- 28:02of what a really decent team that they could be with the
- 28:06talent that they have. I think with offensively, I
- 28:10think they they could be better. I don't know if it's if they're
- 28:14going to be as good as they are defensively.
- 28:16They're kind of one of those flip of coins and I I just think
- 28:20they're not miserable to watch. And that's kind of the what I
- 28:24was trying to base it off of other than The Jets, that was
- 28:27about it. All right, and give us your last
- 28:29one, Java. The last one and do we only got
- 28:32like one more in there? There's three.
- 28:35There's plenty more. God, and they all suck donkey
- 28:40balls. That's pretty good.
- 28:44But which one is the best at doing that?
- 28:48I'm going to say the Raiders because they have one of the
- 28:51nicest stadiums, so even if they suck, it's nice to go there.
- 28:54And you're in Vegas, so you get hammered and bet.
- 28:57So yeah, that's my reason. All right, finish off the round,
- 29:01Jared. I'll say the Dolphins.
- 29:05Dolphins are a weird team. They they looked horrendous the
- 29:08start of the year. They're also kind of fun.
- 29:10Interceptions are fun. So too, it was fun to watch.
- 29:13But they they out of nowhere, seem like a good team.
- 29:16Now they're up to five and seven.
- 29:17They won four of their last five.
- 29:19They have a legit shot of making the playoffs out of nowhere.
- 29:22And McDaniel might save his job. Also Jerry's are.
- 29:25Fun Dolphins have a fun. That's a good nickname.
- 29:28I mean, they look good out there.
- 29:30Some games to watch. They don't defend much either,
- 29:33so that's fun. All right, there it is, Errol.
- 29:38Who's moving on? To take on the king.
- 29:40All right, so it's very, very close, like extremely close, but
- 29:46The Jets beat the Browns and that's the way I look at it.
- 29:51So I think that's a little bit more impressive than the Browns
- 29:54beating The Jets because they haven't beaten The Jets and The
- 29:56Jets won 2720. So I'm going to go with Jabba.
- 29:59I I I like Miami. That's that was the turning
- 30:02point. I I like Miami.
- 30:04I like all his picks, but and I thought Miami really edged it
- 30:08closer. But the Browns, I I don't think
- 30:12the Browns are I think they're dog shit.
- 30:15They have no offensive weapons whatsoever.
- 30:18Jerry Judy has been on my fantasy.
- 30:20He stinks. They have no quarterback.
- 30:23They started 3 quarterbacks, 3 quarterbacks this year and
- 30:26they're all dog shit. All right.
- 30:28So honestly, I'm going to go with job, not because it's Jets,
- 30:33I just the Browns are bad so they should even have three
- 30:38wins. I get why.
- 30:39I get why he picked it though, because it is like that's fun to
- 30:42watch a shit show. You're a fun.
- 30:44Bad team. And their jerseys are brown.
- 30:49Shit brown so. Your jerseys are the worst all.
- 30:52Right, let's get everybody back in for the last round to be the
- 30:56voting panel for our democratic process where Jabba is going to
- 31:02take on King Errol Marx. Here's the question for round 3.
- 31:07When you get to take on the king.
- 31:10Here it is. So you've been talking about it
- 31:14all night. There's only one way to wrap up
- 31:17tonight. Who is the MVP of the 2025 NFL
- 31:24season? We got 4 weeks, 5 weeks left,
- 31:26including this upcoming weekend left in the season.
- 31:30It's time to decide who it is. This is when people you know
- 31:33this is the right time to make your prediction, right?
- 31:37We got a couple of front runners, we got a couple of guys
- 31:40in the second level that are probably just a couple of good
- 31:44games away from being at that top level.
- 31:48Let's see. All right.
- 31:49Who's going to be king of the hill?
- 31:52Errol, Would you like to go first?
- 31:53I would like to go 1st and I think everybody knows where I'm
- 31:58going and I'm going the one and only.
- 32:02Yeah, Matthew Stafford, I think he is the MVP of the league.
- 32:05His schedule, he's in a division that's so competitive.
- 32:09He's playing in Seattle. The NFC is by far better than
- 32:12the AFC. I don't think it's a question or
- 32:14an argument. Their schedules, I mean, let's
- 32:17let's look at it here. Their schedule is one of the
- 32:20hardest in the league. And the Patriots in Drake May
- 32:24are one of the easiest schedules in NFL history.
- 32:29OK, And he is up as the number one pick to go to from Vegas.
- 32:33I'm absolutely, absolutely going with Matthew Stafford.
- 32:40All right, Jabba. I'm going to go Dak Prescott.
- 32:43It, it's, I mean to look at just like his completion ratio is
- 32:47almost 70% at a career where he, he's kind of stayed at about
- 32:516067 ish percent. Like I said earlier, he's always
- 32:56a bridesmaid, just never, never the bride, always.
- 33:01I, I personally think in, in Speedy, you're, you've touched
- 33:04on this too. We talked about voter fatigue
- 33:06and it necessarily doesn't come necessarily from a team, but I
- 33:09think it literally plays a part in some of what he does.
- 33:12And he doesn't get, you know, the love that he he should get.
- 33:16And I mean, just his ratio touchdown to interception and
- 33:22how I think as a leader of the team and what he's done, he's
- 33:27he's kind of kept guys in check. And when you do that, that just
- 33:31shows you as a leader. And as he gets older, he, he's
- 33:35not losing, you know, he's 32 years old, but obviously he's
- 33:38not Stafford old, but you know, he's no spring chicken either.
- 33:41And he continues to do that at a high caliber.
- 33:43And there's something to be said about that, too.
- 33:46All right. All right, so everybody looks at
- 33:49the quarterbacks and this is where they're going.
- 33:51I'm going off set on this and this guy has had an unbelievable
- 33:55season. I know Fish is probably going to
- 33:58have smiles on his face. I'm going to go.
- 34:00Jackson, Smith, Najigba, he has a chance to break records this
- 34:04year. His numbers are ridiculous.
- 34:07I, I don't think that you can question what he is doing right
- 34:10now. I, I think he has been
- 34:12sensational. Yes, everybody, he's been the
- 34:14best wide receiver in the NFLI. Don't think you can argue that
- 34:18right now. He has been electrifying and
- 34:21everybody knows what the ball is going to him and you still can't
- 34:23stop him. Jackson Smith, Mid Jigpa.
- 34:29All right. Wait.
- 34:31You say just just say Jackson Smith.
- 34:33And Jigpa. Oh, OK, just double checking.
- 34:36Very smart hurrying favor with voters that way.
- 34:38Yeah, Fish. I was just going to say if I
- 34:40wasn't, if I didn't recall, I heard that was a name that you
- 34:42brought up a lot early on in the.
- 34:44Year shut up Java. Yeah, I'm just saying, I mean
- 34:48like. I just remember he was saying
- 34:50that. And look at Java driving the
- 34:52wedge in this. Whole yeah, I mean for MVP
- 34:55that's, I mean, that's big nuts. I mean, I see the game you're
- 34:58playing over. Here I don't think the list is
- 35:01that good. Yeah, I mean, I don't hate that
- 35:06one either, but I'm going to go Drake May just because I'm going
- 35:09to use Errol's sophomores slumps that your sophomore years, the
- 35:13year we figure out if you're the guy or not.
- 35:16And you know, it may be one in a million, but you know, just not
- 35:21only is, is he leading the league in, in breakout year,
- 35:26obviously, but you know, deep passes and being able to expand
- 35:29the field. And I just, for me, I, I love
- 35:33seeing dudes that are out there to prove people wrong.
- 35:36And now it's, it's him and Stafford being one and two.
- 35:40And, and I think with, with what he's got left, he's got a chance
- 35:43to go out and, and, and reel this thing in.
- 35:45Obviously his schedule is a little bit favorable than some
- 35:48people's, but you still got to go complete the passes and he's
- 35:51done it all years. So he, he could go down as one
- 35:54of the highest depletion rates ever in, in history of the
- 35:56quarterback. So it'd be interesting.
- 36:00Right my my final. Last ones, Errol.
- 36:03I, I, I'm sorry, I am surprised he's not on this list.
- 36:08I'm surprised that nobody would put this guy on his list because
- 36:11the season he's having is absolutely remarkable.
- 36:16And that's Miles Garrett. Miles Garrett should be on this
- 36:19MVP list. It's ridiculous how you have
- 36:23Drake May, Matthew Stafford, Dak Prescott, Jordan Love, Josh
- 36:26Allen, Sam Donald, maybe Caleb Williams, Patrick Mahomes.
- 36:31Jonathan Taylor's had a great season.
- 36:32Bo Nicks and Jackson Smith. Najiba.
- 36:35I mean, Jackson Smith over at Bo Nicks, I, I don't know how Miles
- 36:39Garretts not on this list. He has been unbelievable.
- 36:43I mean. When was the last defensive
- 36:45player to win MVP it? Was in the IT was in the 70s.
- 36:48It was Alan Page, the defensive tackle from the Vikings.
- 36:51Yeah. Miles Garrett is doing something
- 36:54we might never see again. And he's going to.
- 36:56Break. That's not true.
- 36:58Lawrence Taylor. No, no, But I'm saying he's
- 37:00going to break the record. I think he's breaking the record
- 37:03and he's going to do it in and I think shorter time than
- 37:07obviously than Lawrence Taylor did.
- 37:08I think he breaks the record. I think he's going to do
- 37:11something we've never seen any person do.
- 37:12I'm going Miles Garrett, He has been as dominant as a player,
- 37:17defensive player we've ever seen in a very long time, even better
- 37:21than. DJ Fish, Was that the answer to
- 37:22defensive player or what we were talking about?
- 37:24No, I mean defensive player so speedy named the there was a the
- 37:29only other guy besides Lawrence Taylor who did it in 1986.
- 37:34The other Giants won. He had 20 1/2 sacks as a stand
- 37:38up off the ball linebacker, not as a Ned rusher, but as an off
- 37:42the ball linebacker. He had 20 1/2 sacks, which is
- 37:44just from the four three. So it's not like he was like in
- 37:48a three. You know, it was just.
- 37:50It's ridiculous that Miles Garrett is not on this list.
- 37:52It's ridiculous. I agree with you, absolutely
- 37:55ridiculous last one. Let's finish up the game Java.
- 37:58Well, that that was poopy because I was hoping that you'd
- 38:00let me have that one. But I I mean, I guess I got to
- 38:05go with Jonathan Taylor. I think at this point, if if I'm
- 38:09going to go with anybody right now with, you know, offensively,
- 38:14I'm not I'm not sold on Jordan Love because of the Jekyll and
- 38:18Hyde of you're not. I don't know what you're going
- 38:20to get. He's shown signs of it, but he's
- 38:22also pissed on himself too. So and John, the Taylor's been
- 38:26consistent more so had a rough week last week, but I think just
- 38:31the crazy part too is, is he's almost 1000 yards after contact.
- 38:36That's like that's crazy. He was like 953 last week and
- 38:40just to watch him continue like run the ball after like that's
- 38:44impressive and to see how many yards fastest went to 1000 and
- 38:48how many games great year. I just those bad weeks are going
- 38:52to add up. But I think if anybody had a
- 38:54chance or a super dark horse finishes a lot 455 games with
- 39:00what he's done all year, I think, you know, he's in the
- 39:02conversation suck. My Indo, I love Jonathan Taylor,
- 39:05but I when you said somebody pissed on pissed on himself.
- 39:09It reminds me of band Santa and I watched that movie again last
- 39:12night. That movie every single time I
- 39:16could sit and watch it. I am laughing my ass off.
- 39:19I was eating dinner late at night and I just was I was
- 39:23drinking water and I just spit it out.
- 39:26Spit it out when? When the kid?
- 39:28Billy Bob Thornton's low key funny If you haven't started
- 39:30Land Man like you wouldn't expect it to be funny.
- 39:33It'd be funny, but Billy Bob is hilarious.
- 39:36I've got to check that out. I'm going to check I've.
- 39:38Heard that started the second season right All right so I'm
- 39:41going to give you my vote. I'm going to read off who each
- 39:43everyone took so we remember it. You know I can memorize it.
- 39:46Errol took Stafford JSN and Miles Garrett.
- 39:48Jabba took back May and Jonathan Taylor.
- 39:52Here's how I'm going to match it up I I'm going to match up
- 39:56Stafford versus may I too think Stafford is better than may.
- 39:59I would go with Stafford. So I'm going to give that one
- 40:01the Jabba to Errol rather I. And then this match up, it looks
- 40:07like DAC and Miles Garrett. It was Jackson.
- 40:11It was Jackson. Right, No, I'm saying I'm going
- 40:14to save the offensive players to match up against each other, but
- 40:20I don't know, man. I I really, really like Miles
- 40:24Garrett and I think DAC is benefiting from two of the five
- 40:27best receivers in the league right now being on his team.
- 40:30So I'm going to give both of those to Errol and I also I'm
- 40:34going to give JSN over Jonathan Taylor.
- 40:36I think Jonathan Taylor's had a couple of bad games in there,
- 40:39although he has been awesome this season.
- 40:42JSN is just doing certain things with separation that nobody saw
- 40:46coming. He's doing the thing where
- 40:48everyone thought he was a slot receiver.
- 40:50Now he's playing outside more than he played inside.
- 40:53That's what Antonio Brown did when he was getting to the top
- 40:56of his game. I would start thinking of him as
- 40:59a similar type of star player at the receiver position going
- 41:02forwards. Give me arrow on this one,
- 41:04Jared, who you got? It's really close for me, I
- 41:08consider a DAC and Stafford neck and neck back just doesn't have
- 41:11the defense to help him out. I think Jonathan Taylor is a
- 41:14little bit more of the the engine behind his team than JSN
- 41:18is, but what it comes down to is in my first King of the Hill
- 41:23months ago, Darrell eliminated me for Saint.
- 41:26Drake May had one of the most impressive performances of week,
- 41:28whatever it was, and at a pure spite, I will go with Jabba for
- 41:33taking Drake May. That's right.
- 41:38Listen, just like we found out in the year 2013.
- 41:41Easiest. Trump won the first time
- 41:43scheduled. 2000 NFL for this. Trade guerrilla named Harambe.
- 41:48Aaron Judge got 11 mayoral votes.
- 41:51I should have voted. I would have voted for him.
- 41:53I voted for Derek Jeter one year.
- 41:54I don't remember which election it.
- 41:56Was, didn't, didn't you were talking about Harambe?
- 41:58Didn't. Harambe got like 15,000 votes in
- 42:022016. He was a dead guerrilla.
- 42:05I had friends that voted for him.
- 42:08I remember that vote for Harambe.
- 42:10I think they were like those like faded Che Guevara, like
- 42:13pictures of Harambe. That was an interesting time
- 42:162016. Anyway, let's go to Speedy.
- 42:19It's votes tied 11. Yeah, it's very close job.
- 42:22I do like the pettiness of shaking away Dak Prescott from
- 42:24him because obviously he would have taken a second otherwise.
- 42:26I wouldn't have. I had no interest to take
- 42:28really. Okay.
- 42:29No, I did. All right.
- 42:30Well, I'm looking at, I'm just looking at what these guys did
- 42:33at this season. You know, I do.
- 42:34I do applaud the effort though, but I want to take care.
- 42:36I like his argument for Miles Garrett at the end, but going
- 42:38with the defensive MVP, like the historic angle type thing was
- 42:41very good. And again, I think your first
- 42:43argument kind of cancelled out so.
- 42:44You're talking about two players that historically are going
- 42:47possibly going to break records. Yeah, I mean, that's all I'm
- 42:50saying. All right, well, historically,
- 42:55you break a tie with the last guy and here he is.
- 42:59Tommy scoops. It's 2 to one right now.
- 43:01Who you going? I know you just said that about
- 43:03breaking a tie. You're probably going to hate
- 43:05me, Arrow. I did like your list, but
- 43:08honestly, Jabba, all three of those players that you picked
- 43:11are definitely the players that I would have selected as well
- 43:13too. I definitely could see May Zack
- 43:15and Jonathan Taylor being MVPS over in Jigba and Miles Garrett
- 43:21this year. Definitely 100%.
- 43:22So I'm going to actually go Jabba.
- 43:24Playing devil's advocate here, not intentional, but I'm going
- 43:28Jabba on this. All right, so Tommy, thanks for
- 43:32making making me have to do extra work on a segment.
- 43:35I'm sorry way. To go on that one, Tommy, just
- 43:38flip a coin. Here's what we do all.
- 43:39Right. You want to flip the coin,
- 43:41Jabba? We're not flipping a coin.
- 43:43We're not putting a runner on second base, all right.
- 43:46But what we are going to do is ask you to come up with one more
- 43:50guy each for the same question and let's see who we who you
- 43:54got. And we're just going to vote on
- 43:56it one more time, give you a second to look at your list
- 43:59again. Errol, since you're the reigning
- 44:01king, you could decide to go first a second.
- 44:04I'm going to go first. It's very close.
- 44:07I'm not taking Jordan Love because he's too wishy washy,
- 44:11Josh Allen too wishy washy. So it's between these two guys.
- 44:14I'm not going to mention these two guys, but I like both of
- 44:18them. But I am going to go with the
- 44:20the youngster. I'm going to go with the guy
- 44:23that is doing something with the Bears that a lot of people did
- 44:26not predict. And he stood.
- 44:29He's standing out to me. He's making the plays.
- 44:31He's not putting up ridiculous numbers.
- 44:33And I know a lot of people are going to like the other guy a
- 44:35little bit more because of what he's doing with somebody else.
- 44:39I'm going to go with Caleb Williams.
- 44:40I think Caleb Williams has been sensational.
- 44:43I think he's led the team. Everybody said that this guy
- 44:46wasn't a leader, wasn't a leader.
- 44:48Well, this year he speaks to the media a little bit differently.
- 44:52He started to see isn't a little wishy washy because he went into
- 44:56the quarterback room and some of the coaches said they can't
- 44:59stand the way he acts inside the quarterback room and it doesn't
- 45:02show up. But I think it's changed in the
- 45:04second-half of the season. I think he's bought into Ben
- 45:06Johnson's offense and you could see the difference in the
- 45:09second-half. He's putting up these numbers
- 45:12and he's doing it in a way with a great running game and he's
- 45:17just doing it in a way I didn't think he was going to.
- 45:20I'm going to go Caleb Williams. I like what Caleb Williams is
- 45:23doing. I'm going to go Justin Herbert.
- 45:26I know some of his yards are different.
- 45:28This one's tough because you kind of don't know which
- 45:30direction you're going to go. And I know he's had some trash
- 45:35yards at the end, but even if you got trash yards, you still
- 45:38got yards and you still have to complete passes and you still
- 45:40got to be able to do that. Kayla, I do like Caleb Williams,
- 45:43too. I think he's going to be really
- 45:45good. But yeah, Herbert was was my
- 45:48choice. And then I was like, shit, I
- 45:50better go with Herbert. But yeah, I was going to go with
- 45:52somebody younger that you didn't expect.
- 45:55But that was really about all and.
- 45:56I love Justin Herbert all season and the last couple of games he
- 46:00hasn't looked the same. The team that so many guys,
- 46:03they've lost, it it, it bothers me that Justin Herbert, he was
- 46:07on his way, I think, as an MVP. But I agree.
- 46:10I agree. But he's just falling off.
- 46:12I could not put him in in this even in the top 10 right now
- 46:16either. Daniel Jones, he's falling off
- 46:17too. He looked like he was going to
- 46:19be a short top five guy and he's fallen off over the last couple
- 46:22of weeks. The guy that I thought you
- 46:24should have went with was Sam Darnold.
- 46:26I I think Sam. Is all right.
- 46:27Well, we got to make our own choice, OK?
- 46:29We base it on argument. It's not just who the player
- 46:33was. I was going to go with a coach
- 46:36and throw shit way off. I love that Java since you kind
- 46:40of capitulated saying that you wanted to take Caleb.
- 46:44Oh yeah, went with Herbert. First of all, use.
- 46:46Words that I understand. I don't know what the fuck
- 46:48capitulate mean. It means exactly what you
- 46:51freaking think it means, man. You capitulated.
- 46:57You kind of threw in towel is what I'm saying, because by
- 47:01explaining it that way that you wish you could have taken the
- 47:04guy that he took. So therefore, I'm going to go
- 47:05with the guy that he took in that scenario dealt with using
- 47:09that logic, Jared. Yeah, I mean, I picked on spite
- 47:14last time and I think this is close enough or I I don't like
- 47:18Caleb Williams, but I also don't think I think he's been a little
- 47:20bit better than Herbert this year.
- 47:22So I'll go with. I'll go with Arrow.
- 47:23Yeah, I think both kind of similar circumstances.
- 47:25Now, the Bears do have a better skill players, but both both
- 47:27good coaches. I think still Chicago playing a
- 47:29tough division the way they are this year.
- 47:31Caleb Williams, they've had to win a lot of close games because
- 47:36they underperformative points. Their defense has been hurt all
- 47:38year. I'm going to give a slight edge
- 47:39to Arrow, but it was a very good battle.
- 47:42All right, Tommy, your vote. All right is over.
- 47:44Yep, it's over. But Jabba, hey man, I tried
- 47:47having you hanging around there, but similar like Fish said and
- 47:50Jared as well. I think that Caleb Williams has
- 47:52had a tad bit of a better season considering someone that made
- 47:55the switch from Justin Herbert on his fantasy team putting
- 47:58Caleb Williams over him. It's definitely played off a lot
- 48:00well the last couple of weeks, so I'm definitely going with
- 48:03Errol on this one. Yeah, I mean, there it is.
- 48:06I would too, but Herbert has better numbers, but that's fine.
- 48:09Yeah, he's. Also, fun look, I just said it
- 48:11based on the logic. Oh, no, I agree.
- 48:14And I just wanted to get this segment over with, so.
- 48:16That's why you wanted to flip. A coin?
- 48:18You thought he had a better shot with a coin?
- 48:21It's all Tommy's fault in the 1st place.
- 48:23Hey man, I blame Tommy. It's my fault.
- 48:25Hey Errol, that means you stay king.
- 48:27Oh the hell. I love Lisa am.
- 48:30Jabba takes it up the ass. Kniffen's running away, ladies
- 48:36and gentlemen. Now the real question What would
- 48:39have happened if Niffin was the deciding vote?
- 48:41I think Niffin would have gone. We would still, we would still
- 48:46be here. He would still be like
- 48:48discerning what's going on. After he checks out Abdul
- 48:52Carter's Internet search history.
- 48:57All right, ladies and gentlemen, we call this What's that smell?
- 49:01Hold up. What is that smell?
- 49:04What's right smell? Spooky.
- 49:10Wow, you don't see that every day.
- 49:12All right, ladies and gentlemen, it's pretty simple how we play
- 49:15this game. It's really we tell you a story
- 49:19and we tell you what it smells like and hopefully it doesn't
- 49:22smell like anything. Speedy, you know, pulls out of
- 49:25his ass because he pulls these weird things out of his ass.
- 49:28Probably writes it down on a piece of paper so we can get the
- 49:31answer down. That's fast anyways, right?
- 49:34Let's hope he doesn't pull something really out of his ass
- 49:37because it might be a hairy one. Anyways, ladies and gentlemen,
- 49:40we're going to go. I'm going to say fish.
- 49:44I'm going to go Speedy, I'm going to go Poops.
- 49:46I'm going to go Jarrett, I'm going to go Jabba, I'm going to
- 49:49go me. All right, let's get the music
- 49:51going for what's that smell? What's that smell?
- 49:56Blow my back out. I'm going to start with my
- 50:02brother-in-law who was on the show a couple months ago, his
- 50:05favorite team, Penn State, and a little comments made by former
- 50:11Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.
- 50:14Apparently he decided that it's time for Mike Tomlin.
- 50:19I don't know, maybe to just reset.
- 50:21And he offered the idea that he should be coaching Penn State
- 50:25University next year, staying in the state that he's already in
- 50:30and switching over to college, even though it's something
- 50:32Tomlin said he would never do. I don't know if it's such a bad
- 50:36idea. And to me, I think that might be
- 50:39exactly what the doctor ordered for Penn State for sure.
- 50:43If Tomlin wants to do it, he seems like the type of guy that
- 50:46would dominate at that level in the recruiting phase and all
- 50:49those things. Again, if he wants to do it.
- 50:52But does he want to do it? He's still able with this, what
- 50:56most of us think, not a very good roster in the Pittsburgh,
- 51:01able to get that team going so they're over 500.
- 51:05He can do it with a bad team. That's the sign of a legendary
- 51:09coach. He's a Hall of Fame coach.
- 51:12We need to make sure we understand that this is a Hall
- 51:14of Fame coach already. He doesn't have to do this, but
- 51:18Bill Belichick tried to do it and he's not being successful.
- 51:22It's really interesting to see if Mike Tomlin rise to that
- 51:25challenge. So I looked up what things smell
- 51:27like the most in Penn State University for Mike Tomlin, and
- 51:32here it is natural. And this is AI, of course, in
- 51:35campus specific smells. The first one, cow manure,
- 51:39agricultural roots. The farm smell can drift on the
- 51:42campus. Bradford pear trees.
- 51:44Certain trees on campus have been described as having an
- 51:47unpleasant odor. Some like into Seminole fluid
- 51:50mixed with this quick. And then there is Ode to Penn
- 51:54State, a fragrance company that once developed scents to evoke
- 51:58the campus. It was described as having
- 52:00vanilla, lilac and rose while the Cologne had blue Cypress and
- 52:05cracked some of that pet. That's all I got for.
- 52:12You all right so actually for the second straight week I have
- 52:14a what's that smell related to a similar theme as the person who
- 52:17went before me. So scoops you it we both have
- 52:19the spitters that one week and fish.
- 52:22We both have a Penn State team, but it's the Penn State versus
- 52:25crumble cookies incident because I'll BYU apparently their CEO
- 52:30and Jason McGowan is a big BYU booster and the report saying he
- 52:35was a big reason factoring to their coach and Kalani Sakate
- 52:38getting an extension from BYU when he was the favorite to take
- 52:41the Penn State job. So this led to a bunch of funny
- 52:44things after that. So you had the barstool Penn
- 52:47State Twitter page going Oh, our Penn State Creamer, which by the
- 52:50way, does seem like a good place is better than crumble cookies.
- 52:53There was James Franklin at his Virginia Tech, I guess, opening
- 52:57press conference, something like that.
- 52:58They serve crumble cookies as a dessert for that.
- 53:01And then the best one of all, BYU's actually sent to the front
- 53:05of the Penn State offices for the football facility, some
- 53:09crumble cookies right at the door.
- 53:11So a bunch of pennies involved in that whole feud, which is
- 53:14very funny. Kalies Tecate, one of my
- 53:16favorite coaches in the college football, by the way, and he
- 53:17stays with BYU and Penn State's still searching.
- 53:19So we have a little twofold for what's that smell?
- 53:21For BYU, it smells like a brownie batter crumble cookies
- 53:25fresh out of the oven. And for Penn State, it smells
- 53:28like a 10 year old crumble. Cookies for when Christian
- 53:31Hackenberg was playing scooped up with the dog crap of the
- 53:34Eagles Super Bowl Championship parade.
- 53:40You are one weird. Person so vivid.
- 53:47I was next. I think I'm next, Right?
- 53:48All right, so going over to the world of wrestling, I'm going to
- 53:53be talking about 53 year old over 7 feet weighing almost
- 53:57£400. The big show.
- 54:02The Big Show. Paul.
- 54:03White yes, exactly. Mr. Paul himself, you know, over
- 54:07the weekend he came out on Mr. Sam Robinson's podcast and Not
- 54:11Sam podcast talking about how he thinks he has a couple more
- 54:14years in him. You know, he's not ready to lace
- 54:16up the boots just yet. He's not calling on retirement.
- 54:19And for the love of God, someone who loved to watch the Big Show
- 54:22as a kid growing up, please retire, Paul.
- 54:24I mean, it doesn't look, man. I remember seeing Big Show come
- 54:27out on an event over in the Coliseum back many, many years
- 54:31ago, probably the pandemic era, a little bit before the
- 54:33pandemic. So I want to say 2019 Big Show
- 54:37walking to the ring back then, he looked like a wrestler that
- 54:40was wrestling for 30 years back then and I was already six years
- 54:43ago. So something that was a little
- 54:45more recently, he went out on an AW event and in the AW event, I
- 54:49try to find a picture. I wasn't quick enough with it
- 54:52though. But however, at this AW event,
- 54:54him standing up straight, his knees look absolutely terrible,
- 54:59pointing in every single direction but straight.
- 55:02So for the love of God, you know someone like as big as big show
- 55:04the weight that's been carrying. On his.
- 55:06For the 30 years that he's been wrestling, I hope that someone
- 55:10like him retires and transitions to more of.
- 55:12An exactly. Sort of what Mark Henry's done
- 55:14in the last couple years, he's been a bit of a bit of a coach,
- 55:17a bit of a trainer for the wrestling squads, like AW,
- 55:20whatnot. So Scoop sits on the sitter.
- 55:22I think that's how Big Shows should transition his career
- 55:26instead of still wrestling like he thinks he can.
- 55:28So what does it smell like? If he does get in the ring?
- 55:30I promise you that match is going to smell like the crap
- 55:34slash diarrhea or whatever it was that the Big Show took that
- 55:37time when he stole Eddie Guerrero's Mexican food.
- 55:40My rear end is. Burning.
- 55:42It would be after eating Mexican food all right.
- 55:46All right, Jarrett, let's get it, man.
- 55:48OK. Announced today was the cast for
- 55:52this new American biographical sports film on John Madden.
- 55:56So it's going to be self-titled Madden.
- 55:59The cast was the craziest thing I've ever seen.
- 56:01Every different name Craig and last first we got Shane Gillis
- 56:04in an undisclosed role. We've got Christian Bale as Al
- 56:08Davis, John Mulaney of Tripp Hawkins, the EA guy, Catherine
- 56:12Hannas, Virginia Madden, Sienna Miller as Carol Davis.
- 56:15And in the starring role as John Madden is Nicholas Cage.
- 56:19What it got? Great.
- 56:23I could not believe what I was reading.
- 56:27He put on. What's that?
- 56:28Smell. And now I've gone mad at
- 56:30Thanksgiving. I'm going to say it smells like
- 56:32turducken because I don't know what to expect.
- 56:34But I know it's going to be weird, and I know I'm going to
- 56:37try. It did Johnny Depp get him that
- 56:38that role me. I I did a story on this as soon
- 56:45as I found out about it. It had to be a year ago.
- 56:48I think we've been talking about we.
- 56:50Did talk about on the show when it first came out, I think.
- 56:52I don't know if you use it as. What's that?
- 56:53100% as soon as the first set photos came out I got on it it.
- 56:58Doesn't make sense. I'm just.
- 57:00Saying it's gonna be. Interesting movie.
- 57:02Christian Bale's fantastic actor.
- 57:05And I love Christian. American Psycho.
- 57:08American Psycho Bat, he was great.
- 57:11Batman All right, Java. You're up, man.
- 57:12Batman. Too, Yeah.
- 57:13I'm gonna go to something that happened about, it was about a
- 57:17well, not even a week ago, where Kevin Petula's house was
- 57:21burglarized as he was gone. And yeah, it was eggs, whatever.
- 57:25But man, you can tell me I suck. You can tell this, and I've said
- 57:29this before, but like, when you do, like when my family's home,
- 57:32I don't care if it's eggs or whatever, but that's just like
- 57:34crossing the line. And I obviously he's not a
- 57:37hermit. People know where he lives.
- 57:38I'm assuming it's probably a nice neighborhood.
- 57:41I'm sure he's not on the streets of Philly.
- 57:45And that for me is just, it crosses the line when family
- 57:48comes in that smells like just people just not having some feel
- 57:52like, hey, you know what? This is my house.
- 57:55Like, do anything you want to me, but let's have a little
- 57:58respect and whatever and dignity for my family.
- 58:01And it smells like people just running around with dirty,
- 58:04shitty draws, just being miserable because they're Eagles
- 58:08fans. He tastes himself.
- 58:14Hi, ladies and gentlemen. My final, what's that smell is
- 58:18it's definitely diarrhea down their leg.
- 58:21I'm going to go with him and I, I did this two years ago and I
- 58:24went with this team to win the national championship.
- 58:27They came short and I'm going to go with them this year.
- 58:30I'm going to go with Purdue. I think Purdue has a chance this
- 58:34year to win the national championship 8.
- 58:36No, I'm not going with Shire. I'm not going with dude because
- 58:39I don't trust Shire in the big game, but I do trust Purdue.
- 58:42I'm going with Purdue. They've been one of, first of
- 58:45all, they're a great there every year.
- 58:47They have the most size. They can rebound.
- 58:50They're the I think they're the best defensive rebounding team
- 58:53in all of college basketball. They're one of the best
- 58:55offensive rebounding teams in the league, and they're great
- 58:58shooting team. I expect them to go all the way
- 59:00to the Final Four this year unless some surprise thing
- 59:03happens. I wouldn't be surprised if they
- 59:05go undefeated all season long. This is a really, really good
- 59:08team and very well coached. One of the more underrated
- 59:11coaches in all of college basketball.
- 59:13So I'm going Purdue to win the national championship.
- 59:21Unless something. Weird ten baby.
- 59:23Unless something weird happens. One of our friends in Tobin
- 59:25Anderson contributed to that three years ago.
- 59:27And I want to tell you what it smells like.
- 59:29It doesn't smell nothing but beautiful roses not coming out
- 59:34of Speedy's ass. So there you go.
- 59:36So anything away from Speedy's ass is probably civil and safe.
- 59:41So stay away from his ass. Anyways, it was a wonderful
- 59:45show. I I will say that the content
- 59:47was great. By the way, thank you to Charlie
- 59:49Sloes for joining us. He was sensational.
- 59:50We really appreciate him. He gave us some great takes and
- 59:54baseball is nothing without Charlie Sloes and the job * and
- 59:59we could add Nick Goody on that one.
- 1:00:01But Nikki is coaching some young baseball, but.
- 1:00:06But we'll have Nick Goody on next week.
- 1:00:07So thank you to all the fans on all the social medias by guys
- 1:00:10that reached out to me during the show wondering what happened
- 1:00:12to Quinton Jammer. You guys know now.
- 1:00:15So I apologize to the fans if I upset at them on not getting the
- 1:00:20interview out again. We'll get Quinton Jammer on the
- 1:00:23show. I'll get a chance to have a
- 1:00:25conversation with him and hopefully clean up whatever
- 1:00:28happened in in any kind of way. That's why when you get a guest
- 1:00:32on the show, he's supposed to have a conversation on what he
- 1:00:36wants to talk about if if he's going to if he doesn't like the
- 1:00:40offset stuff that we, you know, we usually do on this show.
- 1:00:43That's what I would say on that. And hopefully he's not in his
- 1:00:47car the next time he comes on a show.
- 1:00:49I hate that. But anyways, again, thank you to
- 1:00:52all the Spotify Apple fans, the YouTube fans, the TikTok fans,

- 1:01:19And if you like New York sports and you're wondering why New
- 1:01:21York sports sucks so much, maybe you should read that anyways, I,
- 1:01:27I have to laugh because I, I enjoy the show and I, I think
- 1:01:31our show is one of the best in, in the country.
- 1:01:34And I think if nobody is tuned into it or had a chance to tune
- 1:01:37into it, it doesn't know what we do on this show.
- 1:01:39Well, now you know, and you know that we, we, we could be
- 1:01:44outlandishly crazy and funny at the same time, but we know our
- 1:01:47stuff. We know our sports and we have a
- 1:01:49lot of fun doing it. So we appreciate all the fans
- 1:01:51that stand by us and listen to us and watch us and tune into us
- 1:01:55every single week. Yeah.
- 1:01:57What do we have on? Who do we have on next week?

- 1:02:06I'm going to try to get our friend Adam Vyrant, the coach as
- 1:02:08well. I'm going to see if he'll join.
- 1:02:09He'll come as well if if his players coming on.
- 1:02:11So he'll be on Monday and then on Wednesday.
- 1:02:13Matt Gage, he pitched this season.
- 1:02:15He's a relief pitcher, played for the Giants and the Tigers
- 1:02:17this season. He'll be joining us on Wednesday
- 1:02:19at 9:00. That'll be fun.
- 1:02:21A little gagey. It's not Gage, you know, just
- 1:02:25engage or whatever. Anyways, he's a football player.
- 1:02:27I know, I know. Anyways, yeah, it's been a great
- 1:02:31one. Again, fans, if you missed any
- 1:02:33of the show, go check it out. Go check it out on Job on the
- 1:02:37Mouth, Spotify and Apple YouTube.

- 1:03:21name? Nelson.
- 1:03:21Nelson. Nellie Nell.
- 1:03:24We love Nelson. He's a Green Bay Packer fan too,
- 1:03:26and a Boston Brewer fan. How does that match?
- 1:03:29Anyways, Nelson with a Mets fan mixed in there.
- 1:03:31It doesn't make any sense. It's not a fan.
