HealthCare.gov just opened a special enrollment period until August 10th for folks who were enrolled with Innovative Partners or American Collective—companies recently sued by the FTC for selling misleading “comprehensive insurance” that was really just discount memberships. If you’re still covered under one of these plans—or even if it’s already canceled—you can switch to a real Marketplace plan now.
