Drunk Driver Crash Kills Semi Driver | Austin News
A horrific crash in Williamson County left one dead and sent shockwaves through the community: a drunk driver, Rayford Washington, 38, slammed into a semi-truck while hauling two young kids, sending the truck crashing over an overpass onto the highway. The semi’s driver, 59-year-old Eric Fields, died instantly. Washington and the children suffered only minor injuries. He now faces felony DWI charges with a child passenger under 15.
