- 0:03Speaker 1: You could get if you miss this story from Raven Simone.
- 0:11Speaker 1: It's gotta be top five, like craziest X stories I
- 0:15Speaker 1: probably have ever heard.
- 0:17Speaker 2: Yeah, she revealed that she had an ex who cheated
- 0:21Speaker 2: on her and during this cheating got the girl pregnant.
- 0:26Speaker 1: That's bad enough. Yeah, that in and of itself is like, yikes, terrible.
- 0:30Speaker 2: But then he asked Raven to be the godmother of
- 0:34Speaker 2: the child.
- 0:37Speaker 3: I want to start living my life like this.
- 0:38Speaker 2: I cannot believe this man and his unreasonable af request.
- 0:44Speaker 4: What is that?
- 0:45Speaker 3: Yeah, the nerve. Yeah, I'm gonna start living like this guy.
- 0:48Speaker 5: Now.
- 0:48Speaker 1: I don't want to cheat on my wife by any
- 0:50Speaker 1: stretch of the imagination, but I do. I do want
- 0:53Speaker 1: to start living with that lack of self control. Right,
- 1:00Speaker 1: operate in that way sounds so fun, I mean so bold.
- 1:04Speaker 4: Just make yeah, I guess, just ask for whatever you want.
- 1:07Speaker 4: Who cares?
- 1:08Speaker 1: Yeah, the golf. Yes is incredible. And Raven's not the
- 1:13Speaker 1: only person who has ever had an unreasonable moment in
- 1:17Speaker 1: time or request from an ex. There was once upon
- 1:20Speaker 1: a time I had this girlfriend in my young twenties
- 1:23Speaker 1: and we broke up, and this was like the height
- 1:26Speaker 1: of when game of Thrones was popular. Oh yes, I
- 1:29Speaker 1: had buddies that I played softball with that we'd get
- 1:32Speaker 1: together every Sunday religiously to watch this show.
- 1:35Speaker 4: I love this.
- 1:36Speaker 1: So my my ex girlfriend and I we break up, right,
- 1:39Speaker 1: and we had been paying like this HBO together. Yeah,
- 1:43Speaker 1: this woman went and changed the log in password, and
- 1:48Speaker 1: so Sunday rolls around, I'm with all my boys, We're
- 1:51Speaker 1: getting ready to watch Game of Thrones and I can't
- 1:53Speaker 1: get into HBO. Right, Oh, and I you know, I texted,
- 1:57Speaker 1: I was like, hey, did change the HBO password. I
- 2:02Speaker 1: know at some point we probably got to cut the
- 2:04Speaker 1: chords on these, but like, can we wait until not
- 2:06Speaker 1: Game of three? Right?
- 2:07Speaker 4: The season finale is not even here yet.
- 2:09Speaker 1: Right, And she would not give me the password, like,
- 2:14Speaker 1: just would not allow me to watch Thrones with my boy.
- 2:18Speaker 4: That's really insane.
- 2:20Speaker 3: I thought.
- 2:21Speaker 1: It's not like I was asking her for a kidney,
- 2:23Speaker 1: you know, can I just get the password quick?
- 2:26Speaker 4: Well, to her, that was an unreasonable request.
- 2:28Speaker 1: And so we did have I think one of my
- 2:30Speaker 1: buddies in one of like the free trials for the month.
- 2:32Speaker 3: So yeah, and then just canceled it or whatever.
- 2:34Speaker 1: But I'll never forget that that's one of the most
- 2:37Speaker 1: like annoyed I've ever been at a human.
- 2:39Speaker 4: Oh okay, well, bro, I got you beat.
- 2:42Speaker 2: I had an ex who when I was twenty one,
- 2:45Speaker 2: and the dumbest broad to ever exist I dated.
- 2:49Speaker 4: I dated essentially he was a criminal.
- 2:51Speaker 2: He was someone who would get like stuff off the
- 2:53Speaker 2: back of a truck and like, he was a bad dude.
- 2:56Speaker 4: But I never asked any questions because I liked him.
- 3:00Speaker 4: I'm so cute, what a fool.
- 3:02Speaker 2: And so at this point we were kind of on
- 3:04Speaker 2: a we were on a break or whatever, and this
- 3:07Speaker 2: man got himself arrested, and to this day, I still
- 3:11Speaker 2: don't really know what it was that he got arrested for.
- 3:13Speaker 2: But he asked me to post bail for him. And
- 3:17Speaker 2: what did I do, As the dumbest broad whoever lived.
- 3:20Speaker 1: You marched right to your mother and said, don't allow
- 3:23Speaker 1: me to talk to this man ever again.
- 3:26Speaker 2: My mom wishes I sure as heck. I posted bail
- 3:30Speaker 2: for him, and then we split for good. He missed
- 3:33Speaker 2: his court date and then I was on the hook
- 3:36Speaker 2: for this bail. At the time, I was a brokie,
- 3:39Speaker 2: so I had to do like a payment plan where
- 3:42Speaker 2: every two weeks I'd come in with fifty dollars like
- 3:46Speaker 2: it was so bad. And when I finally paid it off,
- 3:50Speaker 2: the bail bondsman said, you're not gonna post bail for
- 3:53Speaker 2: no tall leg is man ever again?
- 3:55Speaker 4: Are you he knew what he was working. I was like,
- 3:59Speaker 4: absolutely not, Tina.
- 4:02Speaker 1: Have you ever had an ex request something that was
- 4:05Speaker 1: a bit unreasonable?
- 4:06Speaker 5: Oh?
- 4:07Speaker 4: Absolutely?
- 4:07Speaker 5: He wants to ask if I could baby sit his
- 4:10Speaker 5: new girlfriend's dog while they went to Cabo for a week.
- 4:13Speaker 1: I wish I was joking.
- 4:15Speaker 4: I said, jerp, I'll do it right after I alphabetize
- 4:18Speaker 4: my traumas from this relationship.
- 4:19Speaker 3: See, I mean, I want to live like this man.
- 4:23Speaker 5: Could you imagine waking up and going, hey person, I
- 4:26Speaker 5: used to, you know, be with I'm now with someone else,
- 4:30Speaker 5: and I need you to do a favor for the
- 4:32Speaker 5: two of us. That's crazy, reculous, Samuel, what about you? Min?
- 4:37Speaker 1: My aunts wanted me to put in a good word
- 4:39Speaker 1: for her with a friend of mine. Like, I was
- 4:41Speaker 1: shocked she looked like me and then wanted to help
- 4:44Speaker 1: me hook her up with my friend Like what the hell?
- 4:47Speaker 4: Okay, Well, I respect it because she's a girl and
- 4:50Speaker 4: I'm a girl's girl.
- 4:54Speaker 1: Variety Big ninety eight point seven. It's Gabe and Angie.
- 4:56Speaker 1: It is Friday. We have made it to the end
- 4:59Speaker 1: of the work week. This morning, at about four four
- 5:03Speaker 1: fifteen ish, I heard a couple like, you know, just
- 5:06Speaker 1: kind of noises, thuds, bangs. I'm like, oh God, And
- 5:09Speaker 1: then of course you hear the wind once you like
- 5:11Speaker 1: wake up. Yeah, the first time this entire summer our
- 5:16Speaker 1: little patio, our umbrella had fallen over, which we have
- 5:21Speaker 1: made it so far before it had fallen over because
- 5:24Speaker 1: we were talking this morning and it's like, not really
- 5:26Speaker 1: like a chintzy umbrella.
- 5:27Speaker 3: It's pretty heavy dude set up, you know.
- 5:29Speaker 1: And to make it this far with it not falling over,
- 5:33Speaker 1: I'm pretty proud. So that is a kind of little victory.
- 5:35Speaker 1: Before we get to the little victories, possible rain and
- 5:39Speaker 1: thunderstorms basically all morning, maybe even into the afternoon, and
- 5:43Speaker 1: we do have a high of eighty four today, and
- 5:45Speaker 1: we are going to start the day off with little victories.
- 5:48Speaker 3: And if you have one, let us know about. It's
- 5:49Speaker 3: seven oh one two eight zero one nine eight seven.
- 5:55Speaker 4: Very big, okay, b why don't you give us your
- 5:57Speaker 4: little victory first? I feel like I always say my first, Oh, you.
- 6:01Speaker 3: Want to switch it up on this mortiful?
- 6:03Speaker 1: All right, my little victory, my umbrella has made it
- 6:06Speaker 1: three months without blowing over, right, And I know I
- 6:08Speaker 1: just discussed that.
- 6:10Speaker 3: But my little victory was at about.
- 6:12Speaker 1: Four twenty four thirties, the rainhead stopped kind of just enough,
- 6:18Speaker 1: so I walked my little booty out to my back
- 6:21Speaker 1: patio and my chairs are in the grass in the lawn.
- 6:25Speaker 1: The rocker thing and fallen over. But you know, two
- 6:29Speaker 1: things remained. What there is this little dog bed that
- 6:34Speaker 1: we let or we bring for Winona when we go camping,
- 6:37Speaker 1: so she doesn't have like lay in the dirt, you know. Yeah,
- 6:39Speaker 1: I'm sure she likes, but just to get her off
- 6:41Speaker 1: the dirt or whatever. Yeah, this thing might weigh seven pounds.
- 6:46Speaker 1: I mean it's the lightest thing ever. Yeah, didn't move,
- 6:50Speaker 1: really did not move. Right next to that, a little
- 6:53Speaker 1: dog bowl, just a little ten dog bowl or whatever
- 6:55Speaker 1: aluminum didn't move.
- 6:57Speaker 4: That's really funny.
- 6:58Speaker 1: But also there's something just kind of beautiful about where
- 7:01Speaker 1: we place those bad boys prefers.
- 7:04Speaker 2: So she's like, I'll leave only stuff alone.
- 7:07Speaker 1: Yeah, So I got the umbrella picked up and I
- 7:09Speaker 1: put the chairs backs or something my wife didn't have
- 7:12Speaker 1: to deal with this morning, which I would have just
- 7:14Speaker 1: done in the afternoon anyway. But I think she'll like
- 7:16Speaker 1: when she wakes up and brings Wanona out to go potty,
- 7:19Speaker 1: that the stuff is back on the patio.
- 7:22Speaker 4: A good husband.
- 7:22Speaker 1: That's my little victory, the bare minimum husband this morning.
- 7:26Speaker 4: My little victory is that I got to play one
- 7:31Speaker 4: of my favorite OG video games yesterday. So Mario Paint.
- 7:37Speaker 3: I've never played Mario okay.
- 7:38Speaker 2: So Mario Paint was on the Super Nintendo okay, and
- 7:42Speaker 2: you had to have like a separate mouse for it,
- 7:45Speaker 2: like the technology was technology back then. And but then
- 7:49Speaker 2: I don't have the Supernintendo anymore, you know whatever. Well,
- 7:52Speaker 2: I had gotten Aiden for his for just because I
- 7:56Speaker 2: love him. I had gotten him the switch To and
- 7:58Speaker 2: they finally put Mario Paint, the OG Mario Paint onto
- 8:02Speaker 2: the switch to and you can use the controllers as
- 8:07Speaker 2: a mouse.
- 8:08Speaker 4: And so I got to play this OG.
- 8:11Speaker 2: Mini game on Mario Paint where you're just swatting flies,
- 8:15Speaker 2: and it brought you back.
- 8:16Speaker 4: It brought the nostalgia in my house.
- 8:19Speaker 2: I keep finding mosquitos and I keep swatting them with
- 8:21Speaker 2: the real swatter. So I was like, let me, let
- 8:23Speaker 2: me do this on a video game.
- 8:29Speaker 4: Salmon name, no one is around, Juice, I love you game.
- 8:35Speaker 1: When Destiny's Child asks you answer, Okay, we're gonna go
- 8:39Speaker 1: ahead and say some names here. When you hear the
- 8:42Speaker 1: name you know, Gabe, what is the first thing you
- 8:46Speaker 1: think of when you hear the name Angie? What is
- 8:48Speaker 1: the first thing that you think of? This is just
- 8:50Speaker 1: something as humans we do when someone tells a story
- 8:53Speaker 1: and they're like, oh, yeah, my buddy Eric, Yeah, you
- 8:57Speaker 1: instantly without even being able to help it, picture what
- 9:01Speaker 1: Eric looks like, y is, what his job is, what
- 9:04Speaker 1: clothes he has.
- 9:05Speaker 3: You just can't helpe it.
- 9:06Speaker 4: That's human nature, baby, And.
- 9:08Speaker 3: So we're gonna actually put that to the test here
- 9:10Speaker 3: this morning. Angie.
- 9:11Speaker 1: I have got six names, and these are all very
- 9:15Speaker 1: real friends of mine, okay, and I want to see
- 9:17Speaker 1: how well you do. And I believe you also have
- 9:19Speaker 1: some names.
- 9:19Speaker 4: Oh yes, I do.
- 9:20Speaker 1: Okay, So we're just gonna trade off here, do a
- 9:22Speaker 1: little name association. So if your name is on this
- 9:26Speaker 1: list or on one of our lists, I guess I
- 9:29Speaker 1: want to hope we're right. I'll give you a name.
- 9:31Speaker 1: You give me like the one word, first thing that
- 9:33Speaker 1: pops in. Okay, well you can you know, I'll.
- 9:36Speaker 4: Be quick about it.
- 9:37Speaker 3: I'll be quick about it, all right. Joe Lazy, Oh no.
- 9:44Speaker 4: I'm sorry, I don't know why.
- 9:46Speaker 3: Okay.
- 9:47Speaker 1: How about Sam oh frugal? Yeah, oh your buddy Sam
- 9:54Speaker 1: is frugal. I mean not really, but yeah, I love this.
- 9:59Speaker 1: Todd chill okay, uh Jake.
- 10:04Speaker 4: Lovely?
- 10:06Speaker 1: Uh Ryan oh kind of a jerk okay, yeah.
- 10:10Speaker 2: All right.
- 10:11Speaker 1: My final one for you, Angie Gabe the goat, Thank you,
- 10:16Speaker 1: thank you.
- 10:16Speaker 3: I appreciate it.
- 10:17Speaker 4: All right. Here's here's yours. Lindsay Lindsay.
- 10:22Speaker 1: Yeah, promiscuous, Oh my gosh.
- 10:25Speaker 4: What Okay?
- 10:26Speaker 2: No, but for real, like my friend Lindsay, if your
- 10:29Speaker 2: name is she owns it, though she owns it.
- 10:31Speaker 3: If your name is Lindsay, let me know. Seven o
- 10:33Speaker 3: one Trader one nine eight seven of my kind.
- 10:35Speaker 4: Of writing, okay.
- 10:37Speaker 2: Tiffany Tiffany, Yeah, blonde, Okay, I don't know if I ever.
- 10:43Speaker 3: Met a brunette Tiffany in my life.
- 10:45Speaker 4: You know what. The girl that I'm thinking about is
- 10:48Speaker 4: not brunette. So yeah.
- 10:49Speaker 3: Veronica movie Star, Oh I like that.
- 10:54Speaker 4: I like that.
- 10:55Speaker 2: Veronica is the name I use as my alter ego
- 10:58Speaker 2: when I'm visiting somewhere and.
- 10:59Speaker 4: I don't and tell people who I am the actress. Yeah, Sherry.
- 11:05Speaker 3: Receptionist.
- 11:07Speaker 4: Oh that's a good one.
- 11:08Speaker 3: I feel like a lot of Sherry's work at the
- 11:10Speaker 3: front desk.
- 11:10Speaker 2: You know.
- 11:10Speaker 4: Yeah, Okay, I've got a couple more, Corey.
- 11:14Speaker 3: How's it spelled? K O R I I Love of
- 11:19Speaker 3: my Life?
- 11:21Speaker 1: And last one, Angie, Oh shooting Star.
- 11:26Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, Gabe, that's really nice.
- 11:35Speaker 3: This is sorry, not sorry.
- 11:37Speaker 1: We say the thing you're thinking, but are too polite
- 11:41Speaker 1: to say. We die on the hill of controversial opinions,
- 11:44Speaker 1: So you don't have to, Angie, what do you need
- 11:48Speaker 1: to get off your chest today?
- 11:50Speaker 2: Stop telling people they look great for their age. The
- 11:55Speaker 2: age qualifier is not necessary. I promise everyone knows how
- 12:00Speaker 2: old they are. Okay, So if you see a forty
- 12:03Speaker 2: eight year old woman with her face beat to the gods,
- 12:06Speaker 2: hair on point fit fitting, the compliment is she looks amazing.
- 12:12Speaker 4: Full stop.
- 12:13Speaker 2: If someone ever feels the need to say to me, oh,
- 12:17Speaker 2: you look great for your age, you better don't keep
- 12:20Speaker 2: that to yourself. Either I look good or I don't,
- 12:24Speaker 2: period dot end Stop saying for your age for their age.
- 12:30Speaker 4: That is pointless. That makes it seem like, oh, but
- 12:32Speaker 4: then just in general, I look kind of crappy. Yeah,
- 12:35Speaker 4: you look amazing for your age.
- 12:37Speaker 1: Stop you don't look amazing for twenty, right.
- 12:41Speaker 2: And it's like, hello, we're all at different ages, so
- 12:44Speaker 2: we can just say that someone looks good and then
- 12:47Speaker 2: if they don't look good, keep that to yourself too.
- 12:50Speaker 3: You are so right, you look great for fifty eight.
- 12:54Speaker 4: Just yeah, yes, we know how old we are, especially women.
- 13:02Speaker 4: We're very aware.
- 13:03Speaker 2: Okay, we don't need you to give us a compliment.
- 13:06Speaker 2: That then is like fayr age. But remember you're aging. Yeah,
- 13:11Speaker 2: I got it. That just means I didn't die yet,
- 13:12Speaker 2: Like relax.
- 13:14Speaker 3: I'll be honest, all right.
- 13:15Speaker 1: If you see me walking you know, down university amongst
- 13:19Speaker 1: you know, my friends or whoever, and you're like, you know,
- 13:22Speaker 1: I gave you look great for your age, I am
- 13:24Speaker 1: one hundred percent.
- 13:25Speaker 3: Okay.
- 13:29Speaker 1: Now, if you missed it this morning at about four
- 13:32Speaker 1: four fifteen, it was crazy like land It wasn't, but
- 13:36Speaker 1: it felt like a land hurd.
- 13:38Speaker 4: It felt like my house was shaken.
- 13:40Speaker 1: Yeah, well, I we've talked a lot about this this
- 13:42Speaker 1: morning and this is thankfully funny because no one was hurt.
- 13:47Speaker 1: But this I found on Facebook today, right it says,
- 13:50Speaker 1: who's missing a trampoline? A storm delivered it into our yard.
- 13:56Speaker 1: They live on eighty third Avenue South in horror, and
- 14:00Speaker 1: based on the trail of pieces, it looks like it
- 14:03Speaker 1: came from the direction of sixty third Street South. So
- 14:08Speaker 1: we talked about missing garbage cans this morning, blowing towards
- 14:11Speaker 1: the end of the driveway. There is someone who woke
- 14:14Speaker 1: up this morning and their trampoline is nowhere.
- 14:18Speaker 3: To be found.
- 14:18Speaker 2: It's so amazing. Yes, thankfully no one was hurt, but
- 14:22Speaker 2: how hilarious. That's like from a sitcom exactly.
- 14:25Speaker 1: And what's crazier the yard at landed in They have
- 14:28Speaker 1: a fence, so how it goes, it's crazy.
- 14:40Speaker 3: I did it again, Angel, I may just one.
- 14:42Speaker 4: I just I a shame in your eyes, the way
- 14:47Speaker 4: you were shaking your head. What did you do again? Gag?
- 14:50Speaker 1: No, it wasn't my zipper this time, but just an
- 14:53Speaker 1: adult decision that I know, I know is the wrong one,
- 14:58Speaker 1: and I am going to regret it so hard the
- 15:01Speaker 1: next morning. Of course, you know I was low on
- 15:04Speaker 1: gas last night leaving unhinged, and I'm driving home and
- 15:10Speaker 1: it's like, I really should get gas, and I of course.
- 15:13Speaker 4: I'll get it in the morning.
- 15:17Speaker 3: There is nothing.
- 15:20Speaker 1: I don't want to say nothing, But there are very
- 15:21Speaker 1: few things on earth worse than wake it up the
- 15:25Speaker 1: next day and being like, oh my god, I gotta
- 15:26Speaker 1: go get gas.
- 15:27Speaker 4: Well in the way the weather was today.
- 15:30Speaker 1: It's just the dumbest, dumbest adult decision of all time.
- 15:33Speaker 1: I have found some other dumb adult decisions, and we
- 15:36Speaker 1: want to know your dumb adult decision at seven oh
- 15:40Speaker 1: one two eight zero one eight seven. You can give
- 15:42Speaker 1: us a call or text us. This also is up
- 15:45Speaker 1: on Facebook. But like, here's another great one, Angie. Have
- 15:48Speaker 1: you ever went to buy groceries with ambitious intentions and
- 15:53Speaker 1: then you like, stop for food on the way home?
- 15:57Speaker 1: You go get yourself some fast food or yes, you
- 16:00Speaker 1: bothered to make this.
- 16:02Speaker 2: By the time you're done with the process of grocery shopping,
- 16:05Speaker 2: you don't then also want to cook.
- 16:07Speaker 4: No, so then you buy something that you probably shouldn't
- 16:10Speaker 4: be eating and costs way more than you need it to.
- 16:13Speaker 3: Yeah. Have you ever imagined running to Target for one thing?
- 16:18Speaker 4: Yeah? Imagined? It's never actually.
- 16:20Speaker 3: Happened, actually happened.
- 16:22Speaker 1: Thinking you can stroll your little booty into target and
- 16:26Speaker 1: not grab multiple things is crazy. Now this I'm more
- 16:30Speaker 1: talking about my wife than myself. It is possible for
- 16:33Speaker 1: me to walk in and I'm like, you know what,
- 16:35Speaker 1: I'm just gonna get rid of all my underwear and
- 16:37Speaker 1: wear new underwear for a month straight. Yeah, but then
- 16:40Speaker 1: I gotta do the socks, so I can't even do
- 16:42Speaker 1: it either, all right, starting a new show after nine
- 16:46Speaker 1: pm on a work night. I am so guilty of this. Oh,
- 16:51Speaker 1: this is the thing you do, so terrible. I'm like,
- 16:54Speaker 1: I just won't like, I'll just be tired tomorrow.
- 16:58Speaker 4: That's horrible.
- 17:00Speaker 3: All right. I have two more for you, Angie.
- 17:01Speaker 1: Have you ever been like, I'll just rest my eyes
- 17:03Speaker 1: for five minutes.
- 17:05Speaker 2: That is a dangerous game that has burned me so
- 17:09Speaker 2: many times, and yet I still be doing that.
- 17:11Speaker 1: At that point, you just TimewARP, you know, all of
- 17:13Speaker 1: a sudden, the crusties are getting wiped off, and all
- 17:16Speaker 1: of a sudden, it's nine to night, all right, And
- 17:18Speaker 1: then finally fixing a leaky faucet or doing some home
- 17:23Speaker 1: chore when all you did was watch YouTube.
- 17:27Speaker 3: And have a bunch of misplaced confidence.
- 17:29Speaker 2: I absolutely am not this person. I know that I
- 17:33Speaker 2: don't know how to do the things, but you know
- 17:36Speaker 2: who lives to be like, Nah, I can fix it, Mikey. Yes,
- 17:39Speaker 2: most of the time he can. But the one time
- 17:42Speaker 2: he can't is a disaster.
- 17:45Speaker 1: I'm very guilty of this as well. Yeah, of course
- 17:47Speaker 1: he was all right Allison. On Facebook, she said, forgetting
- 17:51Speaker 1: to take the meat out of the freezer for dinner, Well,
- 17:54Speaker 1: that's a rough one. You know what. I used to
- 17:55Speaker 1: always be like, Mom, what's the big deal? Like, yeah,
- 17:57Speaker 1: I forgot to do it before school. Now is a
- 18:00Speaker 1: thirty four year old adult. It's like my mom should
- 18:03Speaker 1: have thrown me out of the house, like yes, now
- 18:06Speaker 1: we're starving.
- 18:07Speaker 4: She should have put you in the freeze. Right.
- 18:10Speaker 2: Okay, this one, Melissa, this literally I'm in this right
- 18:15Speaker 2: now waiting to buy toilet paper, and then forgetting to
- 18:19Speaker 2: buy said toilet paper. I'm living that paper towel life.
- 18:24Speaker 2: I need to go when I leave this place.
- 18:27Speaker 1: And then Shauna or Shana, this one's fabulous. She said,
- 18:31Speaker 1: don't take a sleeping pill and a laxative at the
- 18:35Speaker 1: same time. That's a tough lesson. I am and there's
- 18:39Speaker 1: another word I'd like to use right now, doesn't look
- 18:45Speaker 1: too bad. No, if it's stayed like this for the rest.
- 18:47Speaker 4: Of the day, that would be great. But you know,
- 18:50Speaker 4: take that Mother nature is a fickle broad.
- 18:52Speaker 1: That's right, speaking of fickle brods. Okay, my wife, I'm
- 18:57Speaker 1: just kidding.
- 18:58Speaker 3: Wow, I'm just kidding.
- 19:00Speaker 4: You might pay for that one later. Game.
- 19:02Speaker 1: My sweet lovely wife, all right, who is truly the
- 19:04Speaker 1: one of the most kind human beings on the planet.
- 19:08Speaker 1: She does this every freaking holiday, and I cannot do
- 19:14Speaker 1: it this year.
- 19:15Speaker 3: I won't do it this year.
- 19:16Speaker 1: What my lovely wife two three days ago texted me
- 19:21Speaker 1: and said, hey, can we start decorating for spooky season? Yes,
- 19:27Speaker 1: fall Halloween weather. I walked outside. It was ninety three degrees.
- 19:33Speaker 1: There is no chance I am participating in placing up
- 19:39Speaker 1: fall decor, especially outside. Do you know what it did
- 19:44Speaker 1: this morning at four four fifteen, which is a very
- 19:47Speaker 1: strong argument that I will be making later today. There
- 19:50Speaker 1: was fifty three mile per hour wind. There was torrential rain,
- 19:54Speaker 1: flooded streets everywhere, and my wife thinks we're gonna go
- 19:59Speaker 1: hang up scale with tin and cobwebs in the yard.
- 20:02Speaker 2: Okay, but wait a minute, Oh chance, you can't use
- 20:06Speaker 2: that for your argument, because the weather we experience this.
- 20:09Speaker 4: Morning is that doesn't feel like summer.
- 20:12Speaker 2: That doesn't feel like summer, that feels like we're already
- 20:15Speaker 2: in fall vibes.
- 20:17Speaker 4: You have a hole in your argument, my guy.
- 20:19Speaker 2: It is spooky season. Also, here's the thing. It's not
- 20:22Speaker 2: July anymore to me. June July that summer August. That's
- 20:26Speaker 2: barely summer, and so we might as well call it fall,
- 20:29Speaker 2: especially because I believe in capitalism, and capitalism dictates the seasons.
- 20:34Speaker 2: As far as I'm concerning, I'm pretty sure there's a
- 20:37Speaker 2: bunch of pumpkin spice flavored everything.
- 20:40Speaker 4: Already on the shelves.
- 20:42Speaker 2: That is the sign of the times. It's spooky season, baby.
- 20:46Speaker 2: You better get on board.
- 20:47Speaker 4: Because I'm showing up to your house tomorrow with pumpkin
- 20:51Speaker 4: spice lattes. I'm gonna wear my hocus Pocus shirt and
- 20:55Speaker 4: we are gonna get the fall vibes going, me and
- 20:57Speaker 4: your wife, and we're gonna put a little witch hat
- 20:59Speaker 4: on Winona. You get ready, Gabe?
- 21:02Speaker 1: Seven oh one two eight zero one eight seven. Is
- 21:07Speaker 1: there any one other than these two? The two ladies,
- 21:11Speaker 1: I'll spend more time with than anybody who is already
- 21:15Speaker 1: thinking about Spooky Season.
- 21:18Speaker 2: Okay, say it with that well known Gabe Well spooky season.
- 21:22Speaker 1: God, you guys are doing this, uh you know fall
- 21:25Speaker 1: decor party.
- 21:27Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm headed to the Fargo landfill.
- 21:29Speaker 1: Okay, and I'm just gonna play in garbage.
- 21:35Speaker 3: Today's Variety, Big ninety eight point seven.
- 21:37Speaker 4: Who's this, Crystal? Good morning? Serious questions? Could we skip
- 21:42Speaker 4: Halloween and go straight to Christmas?
- 21:44Speaker 3: Oh my god, it's ninety degrees.
- 21:50Speaker 4: Christmas. Listen.
- 21:54Speaker 2: I love Halloween, but I love Christmas more so. If
- 21:57Speaker 2: the other alternative is just to skip to Christmas, I'm
- 22:00Speaker 2: down for that too.
- 22:02Speaker 4: Game looks so madou.
- 22:06Speaker 1: You know the worst part here? Thank you for the call, Crystal.
- 22:09Speaker 1: You know the worst part. I had asked the question
- 22:12Speaker 1: if you're just tuning in, hey, is it way too
- 22:14Speaker 1: early for spooky Season? As my wife calls it, Angie
- 22:18Speaker 1: is team Corey.
- 22:19Speaker 4: Team Corey.
- 22:20Speaker 3: Bristle is team Christmas, but.
- 22:26Speaker 1: Someone else's Team Corey and Angie. This is jes She
- 22:31Speaker 1: wants spooky season all year, Team Corey, Team Angie. We
- 22:35Speaker 1: also have Lisa, who said, yes, I'm thinking of spooky season.
- 22:41Speaker 1: I'm one of those Skelly moms and can't wait to
- 22:43Speaker 1: add my skeleton family.
- 22:46Speaker 3: For the love of all that is holy, it is August.
- 22:50Speaker 4: This brings me so much joy. No, it is spooky season.
- 22:54Speaker 2: I'm gonna come in costume on Monday, Gabe, That's how
- 22:57Speaker 2: much I'm excited for Halloween.
- 22:59Speaker 3: I need some good news to just cheer me up. Here.
- 23:06Speaker 3: This is good news, this is great.
- 23:08Speaker 2: It's time for clear the cart with Beyond presented by
- 23:11Speaker 2: Beyond Realty.
- 23:11Speaker 4: Here's the thing.
- 23:12Speaker 2: Obviously, school is like here right now tomorrow basically.
- 23:17Speaker 4: And teachers need help clearing their carts.
- 23:20Speaker 2: Okay, a lot of times they have to spend out
- 23:22Speaker 2: of their own pocket to get all the necessary supplies
- 23:26Speaker 2: for their classrooms, and teachers just want to make sure
- 23:29Speaker 2: that the students are having the most successful year possible.
- 23:32Speaker 4: Right.
- 23:32Speaker 1: It's a bummer that that's just kind of the fact
- 23:35Speaker 1: of life and it's unfair, but it just goes to
- 23:38Speaker 1: show how dedicated they are to trying to, you know,
- 23:41Speaker 1: give their students the best experience they can exactly.
- 23:45Speaker 2: So if there's anything you can do to help clear
- 23:48Speaker 2: their cards, that's what we're asking of you. There's a
- 23:51Speaker 2: link on the Big ninety eight point seven Facebook page.
- 23:54Speaker 2: It's pinned to the top. You can't miss it. And teachers,
- 23:57Speaker 2: you drop your Amazon wishless links in the comments and
- 24:01Speaker 2: everybody else just pick one of those lists and start
- 24:04Speaker 2: clearing that cart immediately. We already have so many teachers
- 24:09Speaker 2: who have dropped links in the comments, and you know
- 24:12Speaker 2: what we said, drop the links, but they also give
- 24:14Speaker 2: a little bit of background and context to what they
- 24:17Speaker 2: need for their classroom. And it's just really sweet to
- 24:19Speaker 2: see how excited teachers are to you know, potentially get
- 24:23Speaker 2: some help clearing their carts because they just want to
- 24:25Speaker 2: give your kids the best school year possible. So head
- 24:29Speaker 2: to Big ninety eight point seven's Facebook page, find that
- 24:31Speaker 2: pinned post at the top, clear the cart presented by
- 24:34Speaker 2: Beyond Realty, and let's let's clear some carts for these
- 24:38Speaker 2: teachers who are doing real good work in the FM area.
- 24:41Speaker 1: That's right, And we do want to give you a
- 24:42Speaker 1: reminder just with how Facebook works in twenty twenty five
- 24:46Speaker 1: for the links that are posted. Once upon a time,
- 24:50Speaker 1: when someone posted a link on Facebook, you could just
- 24:52Speaker 1: click it and it would take you or whatever. Facebook
- 24:54Speaker 1: does not allow that anymore. So you'll have to just
- 24:56Speaker 1: copy and paste the link all right to your browser,
- 24:59Speaker 1: to your browser. It's easy, piece very very easy. Don't
- 25:02Speaker 1: let that deter you to ter you exactly if you're
- 25:04Speaker 1: trying to help out. You know some teachers who could
- 25:07Speaker 1: really really use it, So just copy and paste it,
- 25:09Speaker 1: put that in the browser, and boom, you will be
- 25:11Speaker 1: good to go. And I say this at the end
- 25:14Speaker 1: of every Game and Ingie Morning Show. Here the world
- 25:18Speaker 1: is full of nice people. If you can't find one,
- 25:20Speaker 1: you got to be one. This is the perfect example
- 25:22Speaker 1: for where it's a win win for everybody. The teachers
- 25:25Speaker 1: get some help who you know could really use it.
- 25:28Speaker 1: You can help out not only a maybe your kid's teacher,
- 25:31Speaker 1: but just your school, district, period, your school that your
- 25:35Speaker 1: kid goes to, and maybe it's a different teacher from
- 25:38Speaker 1: a different grain or whatever.
- 25:39Speaker 3: It doesn't matter.
- 25:40Speaker 2: The kids are the future of this country, so we
- 25:43Speaker 2: want to set them up for success.
- 25:45Speaker 4: I did want to also say this.
- 25:46Speaker 2: There was someone a lady who dropped a link in
- 25:49Speaker 2: the comment and she's not a teacher, but she works
- 25:52Speaker 2: in the office and she said that there are kiddos
- 25:54Speaker 2: constantly coming in looking for snacks when they don't have any.
- 25:57Speaker 2: We usually buy them with our own money. Kids can't
- 25:59Speaker 2: learn when they're hungry, and that is so true. I
- 26:03Speaker 2: was one of those kids growing up that was a
- 26:06Speaker 2: little bit less fortunate, and there were days when I
- 26:08Speaker 2: was hungry at school. So there's a link there too.
- 26:11Speaker 2: You know, fill those snack pantries for the teachers too.
- 26:14Speaker 1: Right, clear the cart presented by Beyond Realty. The world
- 26:18Speaker 1: is full of nice people. If you can't find one,
- 26:20Speaker 1: you gotta be
