- 0:00Speaker 1: Hi, everybody. Helloha, Donald, phase On, Helloha, Zach Braff, how
- 0:08Speaker 1: are you? I'm good? And Joel Monique and Daniel's back
- 0:11Speaker 1: with us, everybody, Holy shit, Daniel's back as sound. This
- 0:18Speaker 1: is my love. Hi Daniel, Hi Joel Daniel. What was
- 0:24Speaker 1: it like to miss a show? Did you feel left out? Um?
- 0:29Speaker 1: I don't know about left out. I was certainly sad
- 0:32Speaker 1: to not be there. I'm miss getting to talk to
- 0:34Speaker 1: you guys for a day. But it was definitely cute
- 0:37Speaker 1: to sit back and listen to the show as a
- 0:39Speaker 1: listener and just you know, here the bands, here, the bands.
- 0:42Speaker 1: It was a funny episode. It was a really funny episode.
- 0:45Speaker 1: I laughed listening back to it. I laughed out loud
- 0:47Speaker 1: a bunch of times. I was in the dog park,
- 0:49Speaker 1: just laughing by myself, myself up at the dog park. Um.
- 0:55Speaker 1: A lot of great suggestions for the live show, guys, Um,
- 0:59Speaker 1: thank you. I disagree. I thought some of them were great,
- 1:04Speaker 1: and I want to thank our fans for helping us
- 1:07Speaker 1: because we don't know what the heck to do. Donald,
- 1:09Speaker 1: We're gonna make it up as we go along. But
- 1:11Speaker 1: I thought there were some good suggestions in there. Well, yeah, absolutely,
- 1:15Speaker 1: there were some great suggestions, but we said we weren't
- 1:17Speaker 1: going to do a drinking game. And I saw a
- 1:19Speaker 1: bunch of people say, let's do a drinking game. It's like, wait,
- 1:22Speaker 1: hold on now, I said, why are you trying to
- 1:24Speaker 1: peer pressure me? Which the peer pressure for I'm saying.
- 1:26Speaker 1: I saw someone say, we'll do a drinking game, but
- 1:29Speaker 1: it will be understood that because we're the hosts, we
- 1:31Speaker 1: can't participate. We'll drink gts, kombucha or something. You guys
- 1:35Speaker 1: drink alcohol, right, yeah, you guys can drink if you
- 1:38Speaker 1: want to play a drinking game. By all means, let's
- 1:40Speaker 1: play a drinking game. We will be the hosts of
- 1:43Speaker 1: said drinking game. Right. It made me realize, though, one thing,
- 1:46Speaker 1: that we should do it on a Friday night so
- 1:48Speaker 1: people can people who want to imbibe can get hammered. Absolutely,
- 1:52Speaker 1: bring the marijuana. We're not gonna and we're not gonna
- 1:54Speaker 1: smoke on camera. Either, make it out of here. Get
- 1:57Speaker 1: out of here, dude, the fuck out of here. I'm
- 2:00Speaker 1: on suggested we get high on camera. There's no way
- 2:04Speaker 1: that y'all are doing that. First of all, there's no
- 2:06Speaker 1: way I'm doing it. I got sponsors, look, I don't
- 2:11Speaker 1: think that's a good idea for us, but um, I
- 2:13Speaker 1: promise it's gonna be so much fun. We're gonna every
- 2:16Speaker 1: a lot of requests for Bill, so I'm sure we'll
- 2:18Speaker 1: get Bill to come on. And then we're gonna have
- 2:21Speaker 1: a very special guest. Joel. You'll have to really, really
- 2:25Speaker 1: really pick the creme de la creme guest, got it,
- 2:29Speaker 1: because this person's gonna really be seen across the earth.
- 2:34Speaker 1: I wish we could do this on a sound stage
- 2:36Speaker 1: somewhere where we had a couch and it was like
- 2:40Speaker 1: we were we were we were Johnny Carson and freaking
- 2:43Speaker 1: that's who'll or no Johnny Carson and Arseneo Hall at
- 2:47Speaker 1: the same time. What I mean, one day when we tour,
- 2:50Speaker 1: we'll actually do it like real. But this is just
- 2:53Speaker 1: like a bit of a Wayne's World kind of saying,
- 2:55Speaker 1: you know, our basement, our mom's basement, and you don't
- 2:58Speaker 1: think we should be in the same room. I don't
- 3:01Speaker 1: think we should touch anything people again that people are liking,
- 3:07Speaker 1: like you know what I mean, like people like this show,
- 3:10Speaker 1: people like bizarrely, So I think that we should stick
- 3:14Speaker 1: with everything that's working. Everyone in there in their same space.
- 3:19Speaker 1: I don't think we should fix anything. The name broke. Okay, so,
- 3:22Speaker 1: but you're gonna wear a onesie. I'm probably I was
- 3:25Speaker 1: deciding today whether I should get dressed up and be
- 3:28Speaker 1: a proper host with the tie because it's a special night.
- 3:32Speaker 1: Should we like make it kind of like a let's
- 3:34Speaker 1: make a deal type of thing, where like if you
- 3:36Speaker 1: wear fake Doctor's Real Friends merch, real fake Doctor's real
- 3:40Speaker 1: Friends merch on the podcast in some way, you're rewarded
- 3:43Speaker 1: again for that. I don't know. I don't know how.
- 3:46Speaker 1: I don't know how we're going to be able to
- 3:48Speaker 1: see what people are wearing, Like there's if let's say
- 3:51Speaker 1: there's let's just let's not oversell ourselves. Let's say there's
- 3:54Speaker 1: three thousand people. We're not gonna able to look at
- 3:56Speaker 1: three thousand people. No, you're probably right about so. I
- 4:00Speaker 1: don't even know that. I actually asked the tech guys,
- 4:02Speaker 1: I go, oh, can we do polls like you know
- 4:04Speaker 1: how you can do on Instagram or Twitter polls? And
- 4:07Speaker 1: he said they don't have that technology yet. That would
- 4:09Speaker 1: have been so cool to be like asked the you know,
- 4:11Speaker 1: ask the audience, pull the audience. That would have been
- 4:14Speaker 1: great that would have been awesome. That's a great And
- 4:16Speaker 1: I said, why can't you guys frantically have some really
- 4:18Speaker 1: smart guys in the back room figuring out how to
- 4:20Speaker 1: do that. They're like, you didn't call them, You didn't know.
- 4:22Speaker 1: You didn't say Fred, you didn't say frantically find some
- 4:25Speaker 1: guys in the back room. You called them nerds. I
- 4:27Speaker 1: remember the meeting, and I remember what you said. You
- 4:30Speaker 1: called them nerds to that. Are took offense to me
- 4:35Speaker 1: referring to the guys who would figure out how to
- 4:37Speaker 1: code nerds. I'm sorry, Yeah, I took offense to it.
- 4:40Speaker 1: Are you? Are you? Is it safe to say that
- 4:42Speaker 1: you're stoned today? Oh? Absolutely? It's a say just checking,
- 4:46Speaker 1: isn't it. This is where I plus my bomb button
- 4:49Speaker 1: that I don't have yet. But Dan, you got the
- 4:51Speaker 1: thing I thought you said, the picture of No, it happened.
- 4:55Speaker 1: It arrived. The guys who'll be happy to know that
- 4:58Speaker 1: the sound pad has arrived and Daniel has it on
- 5:00Speaker 1: his workbench. I can see it there and he's gonna
- 5:02Speaker 1: fill it with sounds. Daniel, we gotta go over which
- 5:04Speaker 1: sounds I want on which pad? Do you want to
- 5:07Speaker 1: know what I have picked? Already. Yeah, let us go definitely.
- 5:10Speaker 1: I told you I want bong hit for when Donald
- 5:12Speaker 1: goes off on a tangent like just it has to
- 5:13Speaker 1: be like, no, we have we have bong hit with
- 5:18Speaker 1: lots of bubbling. Yes, good, good. We have the toilet flush,
- 5:24Speaker 1: we have the air horn. Why do we have the boot?
- 5:27Speaker 1: I don't know. I'm just putting random sounds on there.
- 5:30Speaker 1: I have the requested you honor me. I have the
- 5:32Speaker 1: requested I love you Zach from Casey from Casey. That
- 5:35Speaker 1: one's good. Um. I have the bomb explosion. I have
- 5:39Speaker 1: a thunders applause. I have a boo. I have canned laughter.
- 5:45Speaker 1: Um okay, well we can talk offline. Other things that
- 5:50Speaker 1: should be on my pad. I'll also be able to
- 5:53Speaker 1: use them as drums. Donald, I'm starting to hate this idea. Man.
- 5:57Speaker 1: It already has drum sounds loaded on it. You turn
- 5:59Speaker 1: your and I bought the fucking thing. I know, I
- 6:02Speaker 1: turned my key and you so now you and now
- 6:04Speaker 1: now now when we're getting excited and we're loading it
- 6:06Speaker 1: with sounds. Didn't know you would be able to jeer people.
- 6:09Speaker 1: Man with the freaking boot. I'm not going to abuse
- 6:13Speaker 1: it and bullshit you're not going to abuse. No, I know,
- 6:18Speaker 1: I know how this works. I commit I'm not using
- 6:23Speaker 1: more than four I listen. I listened back to that
- 6:26Speaker 1: episode where you were like, yo, and when you're talking
- 6:29Speaker 1: to Bill, and this is what you said. This is
- 6:30Speaker 1: how you said it to Bill. Bill Donald said, I
- 6:34Speaker 1: could get the keypad as long as I don't abuse it.
- 6:38Speaker 1: How you said it, that's how you said it said.
- 6:41Speaker 1: I knew that. I knew that Bill was right away
- 6:44Speaker 1: going to be like, this is a bad idea. This
- 6:46Speaker 1: is such a bad idea. But you know what, I
- 6:48Speaker 1: committed to it, and guess what I want to try it.
- 6:51Speaker 1: I want a chance to prove like a child to
- 6:53Speaker 1: his parents. I want a chance to prove that I
- 6:55Speaker 1: could feel like this will be at least one to
- 6:57Speaker 1: two to three episodes of laughter, and then all of
- 7:00Speaker 1: a sudden they'll get annoying. But I feel like we're
- 7:02Speaker 1: gonna laugh for a bit. But then you know what
- 7:04Speaker 1: I'm gonna do. I'm gonna really go. I'm gonna go
- 7:07Speaker 1: light on it and not barely touch it, and then
- 7:10Speaker 1: just when you think it hasn't been used, bong hit.
- 7:15Speaker 1: It's gonna be fun, dude. I'm excited I've always wanted
- 7:17Speaker 1: to have a sound a sound effects machine. Am I
- 7:20Speaker 1: the only guy that gets the bar hit sound? Or
- 7:21Speaker 1: does anybody? If you say something stupid, do you get
- 7:24Speaker 1: a barng hit? No, it's I don't smoke weed and
- 7:27Speaker 1: do the program, so it's all shit. You don't. It's
- 7:30Speaker 1: in your system. Dude, you smoke weed after right? No,
- 7:34Speaker 1: I'm not an everyday smoker. A right, you don't smoke
- 7:37Speaker 1: we No, I definitely don't smoke weed doing the show.
- 7:40Speaker 1: You don't smoke weed no more. No. I have indica
- 7:44Speaker 1: sometimes to sleep because I have insomnia, and I find
- 7:47Speaker 1: that indigo doesn't get me stoned but helps me sleep. Okay,
- 7:51Speaker 1: but highly I highly no pun intended, recommend that if
- 7:54Speaker 1: you live in a recreational or medicinal state. Um, I've
- 8:00Speaker 1: had a lot of success getting off bullshit pills for
- 8:04Speaker 1: sleep and getting into something that is indicat. I recommend it. Um,
- 8:10Speaker 1: you got that lovely ass garden man? Can I bring
- 8:13Speaker 1: some plants over and maybe you can have your gardeners
- 8:16Speaker 1: help me grow some of your weeks? All right? Back, dad,
- 8:19Speaker 1: if you would like to come over and work with
- 8:20Speaker 1: my gardeners planting some cannabis you're welcome to Okay, there
- 8:24Speaker 1: we go. All right, should we count in and talk
- 8:28Speaker 1: about scrubs? No, not yet, Joel. Do you have any
- 8:30Speaker 1: suggestions of what type of crops we should plant? I
- 8:34Speaker 1: just want to know what you're gonna call your specific
- 8:36Speaker 1: chain of Oh yeah, well it's definitely a fake doctor's
- 8:38Speaker 1: real friends type of I don't know, but let's not
- 8:41Speaker 1: get into that. I don't want to all of a
- 8:43Speaker 1: sudden put our name. Let's about we made un Hey, hey, hey, hey,
- 9:12Speaker 1: did you? Um? Did you? Everyone wants to know. I'm
- 9:15Speaker 1: I've been holding for ten minutes. The question everyone wants
- 9:18Speaker 1: to know, did you find the time to do one
- 9:21Speaker 1: of your dope raps? No? Man, I told you, We're
- 9:25Speaker 1: not doing it again until your episode. Oh, your episode
- 9:29Speaker 1: is the special episode. So this feeling I'm having of
- 9:31Speaker 1: sadness is real. It's it's it's it's this feeling that
- 9:35Speaker 1: you're having of sadness should not be of sadness. We're
- 9:38Speaker 1: gonna treat your episode like it is a glorious, monumous moment.
- 9:44Speaker 1: It'll be nuus this is where Bob hit monuments. It'll
- 9:49Speaker 1: be you know what, It'll be a special episode of
- 9:52Speaker 1: fake Doctor's Real tonight on a very special episode of
- 9:55Speaker 1: Fake Doctor's Real Friends. It's one of those exactly, so
- 9:59Speaker 1: we're gonna treat it that way. We didn't get Molly Shannon.
- 10:02Speaker 1: I have to say, that's okay. That's okay. Everyone, she
- 10:06Speaker 1: said okay. She sent a note saying she loved her
- 10:10Speaker 1: time on the show, but she's working and unable to
- 10:12Speaker 1: do it. That's fair, that's okay. We didn't want Molly
- 10:17Speaker 1: Shannon anyway on the show anyway. We didn't want her
- 10:21Speaker 1: on the show anyway. Ryan Reynolds, we didn't watch y'all.
- 10:26Speaker 1: We was bullshit. And we're putting all in a room.
- 10:29Speaker 1: We should put all a room of guests that we
- 10:31Speaker 1: begged to come on the show and didn't. Ryan, that
- 10:34Speaker 1: didn't so far, Ryan and Molly are just chilling on
- 10:37Speaker 1: a couch in that room. That's right. And one day,
- 10:41Speaker 1: one day, you're gonna need a favor, and I'm gonna
- 10:45Speaker 1: look you and yeah, and I'm gonna say you remember
- 10:47Speaker 1: that time I wanted you to come on Fake Doctor's
- 10:49Speaker 1: Real Friends. I'm gonna do you this favor. But just no,
- 10:53Speaker 1: I'm better than you for that, all right, Well, you
- 10:55Speaker 1: can be the one to tell Ryan that, um, did
- 10:59Speaker 1: you say rized the episode at all? In in a
- 11:02Speaker 1: in a non that will be that will be freestyle.
- 11:05Speaker 1: Here we go. Are you ready? So I'm confused about
- 11:09Speaker 1: what's happened? You? You went so if you look at
- 11:11Speaker 1: a graph, not your time graph, you're your dopeness graph.
- 11:14Speaker 1: You went so high and then you decided, you know what,
- 11:19Speaker 1: no more only on special episodes. Now I'm just gonna freestyle, yeah, man,
- 11:25Speaker 1: because it's all the same stuff anyway. All right, all right,
- 11:29Speaker 1: well here's Donald everyone with a freestyle summary of the episode.
- 11:35Speaker 1: All Right, here we go. Turk's really good at Operation
- 11:40Speaker 1: Dan and Elliott dating Bo Mulattos. I'm gonna keep it
- 11:45Speaker 1: one hundred with y'all. I don't know if I could
- 11:49Speaker 1: marry the woman my brother had sex whips. Okay, now
- 11:54Speaker 1: it doesn't rhyme. Um, it's not supposed to rhyme. It
- 11:59Speaker 1: was more sex book and word poetry. Mulatto's believe you
- 12:04Speaker 1: said that. That had me laughing so hard. But that's
- 12:07Speaker 1: such a racist word, dude. I don't know why mulattos
- 12:09Speaker 1: became racist, but I remember that word. That's import sounds
- 12:12Speaker 1: funny to me. Mulatto, mulatto. It's so cringey that I
- 12:16Speaker 1: said that. And and but it's Milano's right, that's the name, absolutely,
- 12:20Speaker 1: But you called the cookie mulatto, all right, that's funny.
- 12:27Speaker 1: I'm sorry. Milano used to be a term for mixed
- 12:32Speaker 1: by racial right, No, mulatto, Mulatto was not milano. No,
- 12:37Speaker 1: I know, And and and what does anyone do any
- 12:40Speaker 1: of you know the origin of what that word? I
- 12:42Speaker 1: have no idea, man, I well mine, she's very smart,
- 12:47Speaker 1: very smart, she's very smart. It's a challenge, I know.
- 12:51Speaker 1: I have a rough approximation of the history, which is,
- 12:53Speaker 1: like it comes out of Louisiana and it was a
- 12:56Speaker 1: way for like lights can people to differentiate from risk
- 13:00Speaker 1: black folks. The reason it is a very touchy subject
- 13:03Speaker 1: now is because of colorism. There's a rapper called Mulatto,
- 13:07Speaker 1: and um, if you follow what's happening in rap lately,
- 13:10Speaker 1: a different rapper recently came out with he likes it
- 13:13Speaker 1: light skin and like, it's just it's a lot of
- 13:16Speaker 1: colorism issues baked into that, which is that's you know what,
- 13:19Speaker 1: that's what sucks though, man, being a light skinned person.
- 13:22Speaker 1: I'm not trying to hate on nobody ever. You know
- 13:25Speaker 1: what I'm saying, And for some reason, all the jokes
- 13:30Speaker 1: are about light skinned dudes. Man, Why is it I've
- 13:33Speaker 1: been I've been called khaki by black people. Feel like, wait,
- 13:41Speaker 1: can I ask a really dumb question and forgive my ignorance?
- 13:44Speaker 1: But so within you're saying, when you think about colorism
- 13:48Speaker 1: within the African American community, they're darker skinned people make
- 13:52Speaker 1: fun of lighter skinned people. Well, no, it's it's there's
- 13:55Speaker 1: a there was Oh my gosh, dude, there was a
- 13:57Speaker 1: there's colorism within the African American community. There used to
- 14:00Speaker 1: be a thing called the brown paper bag, uh situation,
- 14:05Speaker 1: whereas if your skin was the color or a brown
- 14:07Speaker 1: paper bag, you were considered better. Dude. It's some bullshit, dude.
- 14:13Speaker 1: Like the type of stuff that African Americans have developed
- 14:17Speaker 1: within each other because of to try to try to
- 14:21Speaker 1: control one another or to suppress one one one another
- 14:26Speaker 1: is ridiculous. You think black one black crime is something
- 14:29Speaker 1: It goes even deeper than that. Like systemic systemic racism
- 14:32Speaker 1: doesn't just affect you, Uh just doesn't affect White America.
- 14:37Speaker 1: It's it affects African Americans just as much. Dude. It's
- 14:42Speaker 1: it's crazy how uh. This is another show entirely, but
- 14:47Speaker 1: it's crazy how how uh African Americans have turned on
- 14:52Speaker 1: each other in a lot of ways. Man. And now
- 14:55Speaker 1: you know, I have to admit, I'm I'm naive about that.
- 14:58Speaker 1: I don't really I mean, I see, I'm I'm asking
- 15:02Speaker 1: you guys to educate me because I don't really know
- 15:03Speaker 1: about that. When I was a kid, my brother used
- 15:06Speaker 1: to call me white. Was docking to me. My brother dad,
- 15:10Speaker 1: I used to call me white because he knew it
- 15:12Speaker 1: would fuck with me and get me so upset, and
- 15:14Speaker 1: he'd be like, you adopted white, dude. I did have
- 15:16Speaker 1: a white person tell me I was white once and
- 15:18Speaker 1: it really set me off. I was like, what are
- 15:21Speaker 1: you talking about? Yeah, if you guys want the actual
- 15:25Speaker 1: just because we've already brought it up, the actual origin
- 15:27Speaker 1: of the word some people, and this is from I
- 15:30Speaker 1: think dictionary dot com, But it's a Portuguese word meaning mula,
- 15:34Speaker 1: from the Latin mullus meaning mule, the hybrid offspring of
- 15:37Speaker 1: a horse and a donkey. So that's sort of offensive.
- 15:40Speaker 1: That's not very good. Yeah, But then realact I asked
- 15:42Speaker 1: my nul traces the origins to mulo in the sense
- 15:45Speaker 1: of hybridity, originally used to refer to any mixed race person.
- 15:49Speaker 1: All right, well, if you're still out there and thinking
- 15:51Speaker 1: that word is acceptable, we're here to tell you what's not.
- 15:55Speaker 1: And uh in two thousand and four, I referred to
- 15:58Speaker 1: a cookie incorrectly it's a milano. That joke is still funny,
- 16:04Speaker 1: though racist cookies aside. Racist cookies aside. It's too good.
- 16:12Speaker 1: This episode is a weird episode. Didn't you feel that? Yeah?
- 16:16Speaker 1: You know it's It was written by Bill Callahan, who
- 16:21Speaker 1: uh who I played basketball with? Funny guy, tall guy,
- 16:28Speaker 1: and Joanna Kerns directed it and and Joanna Kerns directed
- 16:33Speaker 1: For those of us who don't know, show me that
- 16:36Speaker 1: smile again, Yeah, don't. Joanna Kerns, who was the mom
- 16:43Speaker 1: on Growing Pains, directed this episode. Wow, did we ask
- 16:46Speaker 1: her any Growing Pains questions? Donald, I don't remember about
- 16:50Speaker 1: bonus you mean? Uh, yeah, No, we didn't. She had
- 16:55Speaker 1: directed several a few I shouldn't say, shuffled a couple
- 16:59Speaker 1: of episodes of Clueless, the television show. One of the
- 17:04Speaker 1: one of the best episodes we ever had was like
- 17:06Speaker 1: this Halloween episode, and she directed it and uh and
- 17:12Speaker 1: uh when she came on to do scrubs. You know,
- 17:18Speaker 1: I just remember I remember her. I remembered her style
- 17:21Speaker 1: when we were when she was directing, and I remember thinking,
- 17:24Speaker 1: you know, she takes, she does a lot of takes.
- 17:27Speaker 1: I remember that yet takes. And I remember thinking, but
- 17:32Speaker 1: there's a method to it, because when it's all said
- 17:35Speaker 1: and done, the episode usually is really good. This turned
- 17:39Speaker 1: out to be a really good episode. I I, you know,
- 17:41Speaker 1: it's fine. I'm just saying and I, you know, sometimes
- 17:45Speaker 1: they come on here, I go, oh, this one's mad.
- 17:47Speaker 1: I don't think it's a bad episode. I'm just thinking
- 17:48Speaker 1: it's it's just it's I don't know, it's it's bizarre.
- 17:52Speaker 1: First of all, it's really weird. I like to stay.
- 17:54Speaker 1: I know, it's a fuck I always said last episode
- 17:56Speaker 1: it's a heightened reality. But it is pretty bizarre that
- 17:58Speaker 1: Elliott would fuck my brother. That's crazy, dude, are you
- 18:03Speaker 1: kidding me? That's not that's not bizarre. That's out of
- 18:07Speaker 1: this word. That should be the end of the show.
- 18:10Speaker 1: I can't do it is the show should be in
- 18:14Speaker 1: credits right now. Man, the will they or won't they?
- 18:17Speaker 1: It's they won't now they won't ever again. It's all
- 18:21Speaker 1: I would like to say that there's no way that
- 18:23Speaker 1: he's gonna go marry like Donald said, a girl that
- 18:26Speaker 1: was fucking his brother for revenge. I mean, this one
- 18:30Speaker 1: I understand is Elliott just found her way to give
- 18:33Speaker 1: JD the ultimate middle fingers, like she never even considered him,
- 18:39Speaker 1: which is just it's even if there's a method to
- 18:44Speaker 1: it at the end, and the method is like, you
- 18:47Speaker 1: know what I'm expecting. I'm expecting Dan to be like,
- 18:49Speaker 1: oh no, we never slept together. That's what I'm expecting
- 18:53Speaker 1: to come up because I don't remember what happens in
- 18:55Speaker 1: this show, but I'm expecting maybe that's going to happen.
- 18:57Speaker 1: But also Dan is such a fuck up. He like
- 19:00Speaker 1: a drunk, and he's and doesn't have a job, and
- 19:04Speaker 1: he's just a na're do well And that's who Elliott
- 19:07Speaker 1: decides to bone after we break up. They are they
- 19:11Speaker 1: boning or are they just you think so? They're two
- 19:16Speaker 1: adults and she's in a ninety They're not fucking cuddling.
- 19:22Speaker 1: Dan was using a blanket as a surround. Yeah, what
- 19:25Speaker 1: about how they're fucking in the hospital in the break
- 19:27Speaker 1: room they in JD's bed. They aft in my bed.
- 19:32Speaker 1: They said fooled around, But okay, I guess fooled around.
- 19:34Speaker 1: And after there's two different different types of donald. Do
- 19:37Speaker 1: you think that those two are just doing heavy petting. No,
- 19:40Speaker 1: I'm trying to give her the benefit of the doubt.
- 19:42Speaker 1: And yet isn't that a funny expression? That's like heavy petting?
- 19:47Speaker 1: I just want it hard. I'm just trying to give
- 19:50Speaker 1: JD to benefit of the doubt. Man, Like I just
- 19:53Speaker 1: I don't know if I could overcome this barrier after
- 19:56Speaker 1: it's been built. This is like the ultimate f you
- 20:00Speaker 1: Now you know what you suck so much, I'm gonna
- 20:04Speaker 1: bone your brother right. It just doesn't see it seems
- 20:08Speaker 1: I mean, it's I guess what you do on a
- 20:09Speaker 1: TV show for drama. But it just felt a little
- 20:12Speaker 1: like what it was like it falls in the category
- 20:16Speaker 1: of Cox punching me in the face and then we
- 20:18Speaker 1: just move on. It's like, wait, she's fucking my brother,
- 20:22Speaker 1: crazy crazy. I laughed at the verse. The first thing
- 20:28Speaker 1: I laughed at was when what I'm in the bar
- 20:31Speaker 1: and I said, was it I'm meaning a lot of
- 20:34Speaker 1: attention from the lady. Was it the ten push ups
- 20:37Speaker 1: I've been ranking out every other Sunday. Now, what is
- 20:42Speaker 1: with this fucking contortionist girl? So, as I understand it,
- 20:47Speaker 1: she's she hits on JD. You know exactly what's with
- 20:50Speaker 1: this contortionist girl? You know the purpose of the joke.
- 20:53Speaker 1: The purpose of the joke is to say, are you
- 20:56Speaker 1: sure you don't want to hook up with me? Look
- 20:57Speaker 1: how flexible I am. She throws her legs up over
- 21:06Speaker 1: her head at the bar. I wish you ears could
- 21:10Speaker 1: see Donald's look Donald, keep it holy? Oh God, running
- 21:18Speaker 1: duddy O the lagging track star can't wait another minute?
- 21:23Speaker 1: What this song is said? Keep it holy? I don't
- 21:27Speaker 1: know what that is. That's justin bieburn, chance to wrap
- 21:30Speaker 1: her holy? Keep it holy? Okay, all right, okay, um yeah.
- 21:35Speaker 1: So JD is turning down a woman who at the
- 21:37Speaker 1: bar is showing him that she can put her legs
- 21:41Speaker 1: behind her head to say, hey, are you interested in this?
- 21:48Speaker 1: It does feel like she's presenting, right, I'm not hinting, yes,
- 21:53Speaker 1: I'm not tripping. No, she's presenting. Oh man, can you
- 22:03Speaker 1: imagine that that actress or I don't know if she's
- 22:05Speaker 1: an actress or a contortionist or both. But she gets
- 22:08Speaker 1: a call like Hey, so here's the scene. We're gonna
- 22:12Speaker 1: need you to throw your legs over your head at
- 22:14Speaker 1: the bar um. All right. So then we find out
- 22:21Speaker 1: that Kelso is drugging his wife by sticking any depressants
- 22:24Speaker 1: in fig Newton's Yes, and and and when asked how
- 22:29Speaker 1: much how much he gives her, he said about half
- 22:34Speaker 1: a Newton. First of all, he's a very experienced doctor,
- 22:40Speaker 1: and he doesn't know the prescription come out that he's
- 22:44Speaker 1: drugging his wife with. He judges it by how much
- 22:46Speaker 1: fits and I half a Newton. That's funny, by the way.
- 22:54Speaker 1: Then we learned he's not even that she's depressed. He
- 22:56Speaker 1: just wants to kill her libido. Yeah, because he doesn't
- 22:59Speaker 1: want to have sex with her. He doesn't want to
- 23:00Speaker 1: have sex with enand so he gives her an any
- 23:03Speaker 1: depressant um that might lessen her libido. Gabby steals a baby. Yes,
- 23:13Speaker 1: that's one of our that's the writer we had on
- 23:15Speaker 1: the show that didn't watch the show, you guys. That's
- 23:17Speaker 1: Gabby Allen playing the baby stealer. That was funny. Yes,
- 23:21Speaker 1: I finally got that baby. That's a real thing. I mean,
- 23:25Speaker 1: they gotta put like all sorts of security tags on babies.
- 23:29Speaker 1: Yeah scary. Yeah, you've done that. There's like great, you
- 23:33Speaker 1: like tags on the dude. You go, you they know
- 23:36Speaker 1: it's your kid, and they still scan you. They've seen
- 23:39Speaker 1: you come in several times, you know how you go?
- 23:42Speaker 1: All right, Look you have little you know, connections that
- 23:46Speaker 1: are made in life when you frequent someplace, like over
- 23:50Speaker 1: and over and over and over again, like for you
- 23:53Speaker 1: the maternity ward. Way to jump ahead of the joke
- 23:59Speaker 1: that I didn't ruin your joke ahead, Yeah, they they know.
- 24:06Speaker 1: They're like you walk in. It's like norm from cheers
- 24:09Speaker 1: like Dona. Yeah. Right, So so you're saying that, obviously
- 24:16Speaker 1: it goes without saying they need to be so secure
- 24:18Speaker 1: with babies in the maternity ward. Even if they know
- 24:20Speaker 1: you and they like, they still scan you because they
- 24:22Speaker 1: have to be super safe. Absolutely, you could have an
- 24:25Speaker 1: identical sinister twin. Yeah that I mean, first of all, yes,
- 24:31Speaker 1: that is a possibility, but the persons have to be
- 24:34Speaker 1: like diabolic, like like the evil is evil, like what
- 24:39Speaker 1: what did what did? What did I do to my
- 24:41Speaker 1: evil twin to make them that evil and want to
- 24:44Speaker 1: steal wants your money. He's gonna hold that baby for
- 24:47Speaker 1: ransom for some for some donal money. I feel like
- 24:50Speaker 1: if I had a twin we could get into so
- 24:52Speaker 1: much good trouble. Why would they want to steal my kids?
- 24:55Speaker 1: Right right? I agree with you? Anyway, she sings down
- 24:59Speaker 1: the hall. The interesting tidbit in this episode a bit
- 25:03Speaker 1: of trivia. All the flashbacks in this episode are from
- 25:06Speaker 1: Kelso's point of view. I didn't pick up on that.
- 25:09Speaker 1: I didn't well, I did notice that Kelso was having flashbacks.
- 25:14Speaker 1: I didn't notice that too. Um, but you know, he
- 25:17Speaker 1: has a bat in his attic, and the bat he
- 25:20Speaker 1: he's trying to stick his dog on it, which is
- 25:23Speaker 1: Ken's real dog, by the way, whose name was Pal,
- 25:25Speaker 1: very very well trained Australian shepherd. And the bat appears
- 25:30Speaker 1: to pick up backster now later in the episode. Later
- 25:35Speaker 1: in the episode, the bat steals your tennis racket, but
- 25:39Speaker 1: nearly that's not nearly as impressive as stealing an Australian shepherd. No,
- 25:44Speaker 1: but do you see the Australian shepherd get lived up in?
- 25:47Speaker 1: Then it's almost like it's a it's a it's a
- 25:51Speaker 1: what are those birds? Not the vultures but the ones? Yeah,
- 25:57Speaker 1: a condor, like a condor like the best size of
- 25:59Speaker 1: a condor and snatch it up. Do you remember the
- 26:02Speaker 1: movie The Last Unicorn? No, great movie anyway, If you
- 26:08Speaker 1: don't remember it, I can't tell you. So Last Unicorn
- 26:10Speaker 1: was this movie about the last unicorn on the and
- 26:13Speaker 1: there was this one creature in it and what was it?
- 26:15Speaker 1: What it was like? And it was the only creature
- 26:18Speaker 1: that Do you remember, Joel, Because it's a vague movie.
- 26:21Speaker 1: It's a it's a very appy kind of movie. But
- 26:25Speaker 1: when you said when you said, when you said the
- 26:27Speaker 1: bat grabs like, all right, have you ever seen the
- 26:29Speaker 1: movie of Unknown Origin? No, it's about a rat inside
- 26:33Speaker 1: in New York City or something like that in this
- 26:35Speaker 1: guy's apartment and the thing is so big and a
- 26:38Speaker 1: large size, and he at one point gets a cat
- 26:41Speaker 1: to get the rat, and the rat beats the shit
- 26:44Speaker 1: out of the cat and kills the cat and leaves
- 26:46Speaker 1: it in the freaking kitchen in the kitchen sink. All right,
- 26:49Speaker 1: So I mean not the kids an in refrigerator. Refrigerator.
- 26:51Speaker 1: So anyway, when I was a kid, my dad took
- 26:53Speaker 1: me to forty second Street to see a bunch of movies,
- 26:56Speaker 1: like I saw Jaws there, I saw Polter guys there.
- 26:58Speaker 1: We lived only a couple of blocks away, so forty
- 27:00Speaker 1: second Street time square like when freaking taxi driver was around,
- 27:05Speaker 1: was an experience I experience because my dad would take
- 27:07Speaker 1: us through the movies, and Of Unknown Origin was one
- 27:10Speaker 1: of those movies that he took me to see about
- 27:12Speaker 1: this rat. The only time I ever was where my
- 27:15Speaker 1: dad was jumping and grabbing me, like, holy shit, this
- 27:20Speaker 1: motherfucking rat. It's so goddamn big, you know what I mean,
- 27:23Speaker 1: like grabbing me to how big is the rat in
- 27:25Speaker 1: the movie. You never really see it, but just like it,
- 27:30Speaker 1: and you're jumping right and the dude with a rat, right,
- 27:34Speaker 1: and the dude gets dressed up in like hockey gear
- 27:36Speaker 1: at the end and goes at it with the rat anyway,
- 27:40Speaker 1: just saying, well you and that's what this bat, that's
- 27:43Speaker 1: what this bat thing kind of reminds me of you.
- 27:45Speaker 1: And the attic with that bat was hysterical. That made
- 27:49Speaker 1: me laugh. You screamed, You did your famous Donald Phazon
- 27:52Speaker 1: scream and it gets me every time. Yeah, I gotta
- 27:55Speaker 1: stop doing that scream. I think people are used to
- 27:57Speaker 1: it now. Well let's hear what you're talking about, Willis,
- 27:59Speaker 1: But I really like it. Okay, I remember why I
- 28:03Speaker 1: mean catch? I mean I catchphrases are so funny, Like
- 28:06Speaker 1: I remember being a kid being like when uncertain episodes
- 28:09Speaker 1: when Arnold didn't say what you're talking about Willis? I
- 28:11Speaker 1: was like, what the fuck is this episode? There was
- 28:14Speaker 1: no what you're talking about? Missus Garrett. Do you know
- 28:18Speaker 1: where missus Garrett came from originally? Oh? You know where
- 28:21Speaker 1: Mitchus Garrett went to? I know she went to Northwestern University.
- 28:25Speaker 1: Do you know what she do? You know what she
- 28:26Speaker 1: went to after different strokes? UM, don't tell me. She
- 28:31Speaker 1: went to UM her own show with the squat tuti.
- 28:36Speaker 1: What's it call facts of Life? Facts of life? You
- 28:39Speaker 1: take the good, you take the bad, you take them both.
- 28:41Speaker 1: In there you had the facts of lieb the facts
- 28:44Speaker 1: of life man the world seems to believe. It's a
- 28:51Speaker 1: funny lyric. I remember it was like, um, when the
- 28:56Speaker 1: boys are used to hate your date. I guess you
- 28:59Speaker 1: must invest stick gate the fact that bo yep, that
- 29:04Speaker 1: must have been the long cut. Well, that's that was
- 29:07Speaker 1: we learned that from ted'span. Oh that's right. Do you
- 29:11Speaker 1: know who was on the Facts of Life that you
- 29:13Speaker 1: the audience might be surprised to know was a was
- 29:15Speaker 1: a regular Molly Ringwall George Clooney, I didn't know that.
- 29:22Speaker 1: That was later on Molly Ringwall Season one. Facts of Life?
- 29:24Speaker 1: Really and now, were you a tutti Blair or Joe
- 29:29Speaker 1: tutti baby, Tutti tutti, tutti tutti? I really had. This
- 29:36Speaker 1: was right around the time in my age where, like,
- 29:38Speaker 1: you know, things were starting to you were a Joe,
- 29:42Speaker 1: things were starting to kick on and Joe. Yeah, I
- 29:44Speaker 1: really had a crush on Joe. Yeah. Really. It's funny
- 29:48Speaker 1: because Blair was like supposed to be like the beautiful
- 29:50Speaker 1: blah on bombshell, but like I'd liked I liked the
- 29:52Speaker 1: tomboy Joe. Yeah, Dan was Joel. Did you have a
- 29:59Speaker 1: particular fact of life crush? Are you too young? Well? Too?
- 30:04Speaker 1: It was okay. Do you guys remember your first sitcom crush? Oh?
- 30:08Speaker 1: First sitcom crush? Well, my first sitcom crush, I told
- 30:13Speaker 1: you was was Susanne. I have a preliminary question, m M,
- 30:18Speaker 1: does The Power Rangers count as a six? Not? Then?
- 30:24Speaker 1: Then Kimberly Amy Joe Johnson, Pink Ranger, The Pink Ranger,
- 30:30Speaker 1: Oh man, she was pretty great. She was pretty great.
- 30:34Speaker 1: You know when I did Felicity and she was on
- 30:36Speaker 1: Felicity and she was the pink Ranger. I remember geeking
- 30:39Speaker 1: out inside being like, dude, she has no idea keep
- 30:42Speaker 1: a professional, She has no idea, how fucking how dope
- 30:47Speaker 1: you know how dope she is? So just what about
- 30:49Speaker 1: a list of Milano on Who's the Ball? Of course
- 30:51Speaker 1: that was everybody's but but a two d uh? And
- 30:56Speaker 1: then Janet Jackson on Good Times and the Sister on
- 31:01Speaker 1: Good Times. Oh my god. When I was a kid,
- 31:03Speaker 1: and then when I moved to Los Angeles, I swore
- 31:05Speaker 1: I was gonna marry log boy He's I was like,
- 31:07Speaker 1: I'm gonna marry when I get here, I'm gonna just
- 31:09Speaker 1: gonna say, like, wore he's as Lisa Marie. Yeah, I
- 31:13Speaker 1: knew it. I was, I was sure of it. I
- 31:16Speaker 1: was like at the clueless, there's no way loved boy,
- 31:19Speaker 1: he's gonna say no to me. All right, we're gonna
- 31:23Speaker 1: take a break and when we come back, we're gonna
- 31:24Speaker 1: talk about bastard coded bastards with bastard filling and be
- 31:28Speaker 1: right back, and we're bad. We're bad, bastard coded bastards.
- 31:41Speaker 1: With bastard filling. Two people said it, two people say
- 31:44Speaker 1: it in this episode. It's a great line. I gotta
- 31:46Speaker 1: read the line because hold on me, it's on the
- 31:48Speaker 1: Scrumbs wiki. Molly says Perry, no one is pure evil.
- 31:50Speaker 1: I mean, yes, everyone has a hard outer shell, but
- 31:53Speaker 1: inside everybody has a creamy center. He said, there are
- 31:56Speaker 1: plenty of people in here, on this particular planet that
- 31:58Speaker 1: are hard on the outside and hard the inside. And
- 32:01Speaker 1: then she says, so they have more of a neuguinte center,
- 32:04Speaker 1: and he says, lady, lady, people aren't chocolates, do you
- 32:08Speaker 1: know what? They are? Mostly bastards, bastard coated bastards with
- 32:12Speaker 1: bastard feeling. But I don't find them half as annoying
- 32:16Speaker 1: as I find naive, bubbleheaded optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.
- 32:20Speaker 1: And then she touches his chest and she goes, I'm
- 32:23Speaker 1: touching your creamy sent you. This has been Scrubs theater exactly.
- 32:35Speaker 1: But anyway, that's a funny line. I think bastard, Yes,
- 32:38Speaker 1: I think bastard covered bastards with bastard filling is a
- 32:42Speaker 1: funny line. I want to what is I thought a
- 32:47Speaker 1: bastard was like a kid who doesn't have a dad.
- 32:49Speaker 1: Isn't that what a bastard is? Yeah? But I think
- 32:52Speaker 1: that's the Chinese division. But I didn't think it became
- 32:54Speaker 1: just just calling someone like a jerk. It became like,
- 32:57Speaker 1: you know, well, that's what Marty McFly calls the Libyans
- 33:01Speaker 1: after they shoot Doc Brown. I know that you pasta
- 33:08Speaker 1: a deep cut. Um. How about so Kelso and Cox
- 33:14Speaker 1: really just are pissed off that Molly's happy. They try
- 33:17Speaker 1: and break her, They try and just fuck with this episode. Yeah,
- 33:22Speaker 1: you know, I would expect that from Cox. I didn't
- 33:25Speaker 1: necessarily expect Kelso to like really invest like that because
- 33:30Speaker 1: he doesn't pissed that she won't write a prescription for
- 33:33Speaker 1: him to stick the drugs in the half Newton right
- 33:37Speaker 1: now he's in. Yeah, he wants to get revenge on
- 33:39Speaker 1: her because she won't. She won't played by his rules. Right.
- 33:44Speaker 1: I'm sure he could just write the prescription, right. I
- 33:47Speaker 1: didn't understand that either, or couldn't Kell to write prescription
- 33:52Speaker 1: for your family members? Is that a rule? I don't know.
- 33:55Speaker 1: Could Cox have written a prescription? Well in Garden State?
- 33:58Speaker 1: Doesn't your it doesn't doesn't don't your parents write the
- 34:01Speaker 1: prescriptions for you. Yeah. Um. And that was actually inspired
- 34:07Speaker 1: um by someone I knew whose father was a psycho
- 34:12Speaker 1: psychiatrist and had her on so many meds. And I
- 34:16Speaker 1: remember thinking, like, this woman is taking so many drugs
- 34:20Speaker 1: because this one causes this side effects, so she takes
- 34:23Speaker 1: this one for that, and then that causes another side effects.
- 34:25Speaker 1: So she was taking like a handful of these insane
- 34:28Speaker 1: pills and she certainly didn't seem like any of it
- 34:31Speaker 1: was really helping her. And I that was sort of
- 34:33Speaker 1: the the you know, genesis of that idea was was thinking, like, God,
- 34:38Speaker 1: her father, I'm sure he means well, but he's like,
- 34:40Speaker 1: they're they're they're caught in this horrific loop. You know.
- 34:45Speaker 1: Do you think in this clim and do you think
- 34:46Speaker 1: in today's climate you could still tell this joke where
- 34:50Speaker 1: Kelso's drugging his wife, Um, yeah, because he's not. I mean,
- 34:55Speaker 1: I think so he's he's drugging her with any It's
- 34:57Speaker 1: not like he's drugging her own with with roof a
- 35:00Speaker 1: doll or something. He's drugging her with any depressants he's
- 35:02Speaker 1: trying to try. I mean, I don't know, Joel, what
- 35:05Speaker 1: do you think I don't give me drugs without my consent.
- 35:07Speaker 1: I don't want to tie at all without knowing that
- 35:10Speaker 1: I'm taking it time. No, I know, but Donald's saying.
- 35:12Speaker 1: Donald's saying in twenty twenty one, could you still write
- 35:16Speaker 1: a I'm drugging my wife with any depressants joke? Probably not.
- 35:20Speaker 1: I don't think so. No, I know. It's crazy, right,
- 35:25Speaker 1: it's crazy. What was funny? So like not so long ago,
- 35:32Speaker 1: it's crazy and now it's like, oh, that's a little dangerous. Yeah, no,
- 35:37Speaker 1: I hear you. I agree with you. I didn't even
- 35:40Speaker 1: think of it, by the way. It's just I didn't
- 35:42Speaker 1: even think of it at the time. But I think
- 35:43Speaker 1: you're probably right. What about when he gives he gives
- 35:47Speaker 1: her a Spanish book because she's going to Mexico, and
- 35:50Speaker 1: she says, grassius and he goes, you're welcome. Oh boy,
- 36:00Speaker 1: oh boy, oh boy. So you're really working the diabetes
- 36:03Speaker 1: angle with Carla. You got her wrapped around your finger.
- 36:06Speaker 1: This is the best part of this is the best
- 36:08Speaker 1: part of the episode. To meet h I laughed a
- 36:13Speaker 1: lot at Turk's use of his diabetes. Yeah, and I
- 36:18Speaker 1: think I might do the same. And it's because he
- 36:21Speaker 1: hasn't figured out his medication yet. So he's getting away
- 36:24Speaker 1: with a lot of shit, right, So he's getting sandwiches,
- 36:26Speaker 1: he's getting sandwiches, he's getting he's getting a bunch of things.
- 36:30Speaker 1: He's getting sex, he's getting whatever he wants, as long
- 36:32Speaker 1: as it's as long as it's for his diabetes. It's
- 36:35Speaker 1: it's it's his I thought, I thought it was so
- 36:38Speaker 1: funny how she runs away and comes back on Ncgurney
- 36:43Speaker 1: smiling with the sandwich, like she's so happy to do
- 36:47Speaker 1: it for him, like Carla is so happy to do
- 36:49Speaker 1: it for something funny, like because you're hooking me up
- 36:51Speaker 1: with sandwiches and whatnot. But then she's doing the same thing.
- 36:57Speaker 1: She winds up doing the exact same thing. Everybody's lying
- 37:00Speaker 1: in the episode. That's the theme, everybody. The theme. The
- 37:04Speaker 1: theme is that everyone is being duplicitous with everybody, No
- 37:08Speaker 1: one is really being honest, and it creates quite a
- 37:13Speaker 1: tangled mess. Well, yeah, don't you remember the commercial when
- 37:18Speaker 1: you tell one lie, you need to another. No you
- 37:23Speaker 1: don't remember, Oh, let me take it up. When you
- 37:27Speaker 1: tell one lie it leads to another, then you tell
- 37:30Speaker 1: two lies. Oh brother, you don't notice then you lie
- 37:36Speaker 1: and lie. I don't remember the exactly like it Latterday Saints,
- 37:41Speaker 1: so it was Jesus Christ spend so much money on
- 37:46Speaker 1: ads when we were kids. Do you remember the one
- 37:47Speaker 1: without found a rebel, mister Robertson, Mister Robertson, I broke
- 37:51Speaker 1: your window. I broke your window with my ball, and
- 37:55Speaker 1: I've come to a kidfess. Do you remember that one? No?
- 37:58Speaker 1: But I remember like when we were kid is. I
- 38:00Speaker 1: don't know if it was an East Coast Tri State
- 38:02Speaker 1: area thing, but like whenever we were watching the Latter
- 38:05Speaker 1: Day Saints were hitting us up wi X with messages hardcore,
- 38:11Speaker 1: don't lie, don't lie and then always tell the truth. Dude,
- 38:15Speaker 1: I remember. You know, if you look up on YouTube
- 38:18Speaker 1: you could find the one with Alfonso and it's like
- 38:20Speaker 1: a musical and they were always musical numbers. Uh. I
- 38:25Speaker 1: remember a kid being like, Mommy, I got bubble gum
- 38:28Speaker 1: all over the dog. Do you remember that one? No?
- 38:31Speaker 1: That was one too. Do you remember when this wasn't
- 38:34Speaker 1: a Latter Day Saints one? But do you remember the
- 38:36Speaker 1: PSA that was like, um, it was pills and they
- 38:39Speaker 1: were they were puppets. Speaking of pills, and they sang
- 38:42Speaker 1: it was it was to protect kids from not eating pills,
- 38:46Speaker 1: and it was. And the puppets pills would sing weird
- 38:49Speaker 1: not candy, even though we looked so fine and dandy. Yes, yeah,
- 38:59Speaker 1: I'm sure that on YouTube anyway, those pills could sing.
- 39:04Speaker 1: They had they had range. There was a long song.
- 39:10Speaker 1: That's the only part I remember. Um. All right, so
- 39:14Speaker 1: Dan's back in the tub. I think I did. First
- 39:16Speaker 1: of all, I did a really great pratfall. Yes, where
- 39:23Speaker 1: is that potfall? I wrote it down over the couch
- 39:25Speaker 1: When when Dan pops up, I literally backwards leaped over
- 39:30Speaker 1: that couch. That's some serious trust that no one accidentally
- 39:34Speaker 1: moved the pad Because when you landed, did you do
- 39:38Speaker 1: a back roll? Did you roll over? No? I just
- 39:40Speaker 1: fucking hurled myself backwards and just trusted that that Matt
- 39:44Speaker 1: would be there. How many times did you truly injure
- 39:47Speaker 1: yourself doing these prat falls? Like, let's talk about that. Like,
- 39:50Speaker 1: I know you had a hernia at one point. Did
- 39:51Speaker 1: that come from pratt falling too? I don't know. You know,
- 39:54Speaker 1: I think some people are just predisposed to have, like, um,
- 39:57Speaker 1: the one that's called an ingwall next to your growing um.
- 40:00Speaker 1: It's you know, it's just like it's it's very common
- 40:02Speaker 1: for men um, but it happened. I don't know you
- 40:06Speaker 1: did so I remember you did. You were doing pratfalls
- 40:09Speaker 1: with the hernia and you were like, I'm getting surgery tomorrow. Like,
- 40:12Speaker 1: don't you remember that? Don't you remember this? I do remember, well,
- 40:15Speaker 1: I don't know. I always had back issues from it,
- 40:17Speaker 1: you know, I mean, I really did nine years of
- 40:20Speaker 1: hurling myself around. I always I used to have go
- 40:23Speaker 1: to the chiropractor a lot helped me. When you cheaper
- 40:26Speaker 1: by the dozens, Are you gonna be doing that? Um? No,
- 40:31Speaker 1: it's not as broad as um It's not as as
- 40:34Speaker 1: as slap sticky, as as as a Steve Martin thing.
- 40:37Speaker 1: I'm not like, I'm not like swinging from chandeliers. That's
- 40:41Speaker 1: still's funny. It still makes there's there's there's there's some,
- 40:45Speaker 1: there's some there's definitely some funny physical related comedy, But
- 40:49Speaker 1: I'm not. My character's not as like goofy as jadis okay.
- 41:00Speaker 1: Um So Turk convinces uh JD to use the pain
- 41:08Speaker 1: of Elliott dating Dan to get make it so that
- 41:15Speaker 1: she can she'll forgive him for dumping her, right, and
- 41:20Speaker 1: he tries it and it sends Dan back into the
- 41:23Speaker 1: bathtub again. Right. I love that. I love it. I
- 41:26Speaker 1: go he goes hey, little brother, I go, ah, what
- 41:28Speaker 1: are you doing back in the tub? Yeah, he s
- 41:32Speaker 1: Elliot broke up with me. Yeah, I'm supposed to work,
- 41:36Speaker 1: so it works. But now your brother, no, but they're lying.
- 41:40Speaker 1: They're lying. They didn't break Why don't wait, why is
- 41:42Speaker 1: he in the tub? They do break up. They do
- 41:45Speaker 1: break up for that hot second, don't they? And then
- 41:47Speaker 1: he goes back. Oh. I thought it was all fronting
- 41:49Speaker 1: that they were. They were hiding their relationship, didn't I
- 41:53Speaker 1: didn't pick up on that. It was like a play,
- 41:55Speaker 1: a performative exercise in tricking j D. Then I go
- 42:01Speaker 1: over her house and she's she's all dialed up and
- 42:03Speaker 1: she's in this nighty. She's got her cleavage on display
- 42:08Speaker 1: and the blue BRA's back. Yep. They got champagne, they
- 42:12Speaker 1: got Dido plane, and they got um, what's the other
- 42:15Speaker 1: thing in candlesticks? I really laughed at. I really laughed at.
- 42:21Speaker 1: You were like, yeah, you're talking. I just wanted to
- 42:24Speaker 1: tell you that. Well, thank you, I said, if my
- 42:33Speaker 1: if my heart could write songs it would be. And
- 42:37Speaker 1: then I take a sip of the champagne on it.
- 42:39Speaker 1: It's so tingly, it's a tingly drink. And then Dan
- 42:45Speaker 1: Dan appears. I pop over the couch. Then there's this
- 42:48Speaker 1: really surreal fantasy where we're both standing there naked, looking
- 42:53Speaker 1: at each other's spinning right and realizing that you have
- 42:57Speaker 1: no feelings for each other. And I have a question.
- 43:00Speaker 1: I really think it's possible. I guess it is. If
- 43:02Speaker 1: you're just so over it, come on, buddy, come on, buddy,
- 43:04Speaker 1: come on, buddy. Wait, let me finish my thought and
- 43:07Speaker 1: then you can come on buddy me. Okay, if you
- 43:09Speaker 1: think it's possible someone you really cared about, I'm not
- 43:13Speaker 1: talking about some flame. You had to be standing there
- 43:16Speaker 1: naked in front of them, looking at their naked body,
- 43:18Speaker 1: and you had such strong feelings for them to absolutely
- 43:21Speaker 1: feel nothing. That's what That's what, jays are you both
- 43:23Speaker 1: are you both single? Yeah? In this scenario we are
- 43:27Speaker 1: in the show, we are and you butt naked in
- 43:29Speaker 1: front of each other. Yeah, we're both buck naked looking
- 43:32Speaker 1: at each other's bodies like eighteen inches apart. What do
- 43:35Speaker 1: you say buck naked or do you say butt naked Buck.
- 43:39Speaker 1: I think if you say buck, I say butt. Okay,
- 43:42Speaker 1: So anyway, I don't think it's possible. No, yeah, this
- 43:47Speaker 1: isn't like some girl that you like woman. You're not
- 43:50Speaker 1: a true well you know that you had a like
- 43:52Speaker 1: just a hook up where this is like someone you
- 43:54Speaker 1: were like, had strong feelings for. I feel like if
- 43:57Speaker 1: you guys are back in that situation, if you guys
- 44:00Speaker 1: back in that situation but naked in front of each other,
- 44:03Speaker 1: I think Buck is correct. You might want to pivot.
- 44:06Speaker 1: It's okay to pivot at forty six. I have looked
- 44:11Speaker 1: this up because I was curious. They're both acceptable. Buck
- 44:14Speaker 1: naked is older, the more original of the two. Well,
- 44:17Speaker 1: since you're forty six, you should probably use Buck. I'm
- 44:21Speaker 1: gonna keep it. I'm gonna keep an urbane but urban
- 44:25Speaker 1: keeping a Buck, baby. That'd be funny if Daniel's definition
- 44:28Speaker 1: said that if you're urban but yo. Yeah, But I
- 44:44Speaker 1: don't think. I don't think. I don't think if you're
- 44:46Speaker 1: both single at that moment and you're butt naked, now,
- 44:50Speaker 1: if you just appear in front of each other like,
- 44:52Speaker 1: oh shit, I'm button naked in front of my ax,
- 44:55Speaker 1: how did this happen. I don't think. Okay, yeah, sure,
- 44:58Speaker 1: but if you're both at this point button naked and
- 45:00Speaker 1: you're both single, something going, something's been. We're eighteen inches
- 45:05Speaker 1: apart and we're on some sort of lazy Susan spinning around,
- 45:11Speaker 1: I don't really. I mean, I guess it was just
- 45:13Speaker 1: a stylistic thing to choose to put lazy Susan, and
- 45:16Speaker 1: that's a fantasy to but I don't think. I don't
- 45:18Speaker 1: think that's why are we naked on a lazy Susan?
- 45:21Speaker 1: To prove that you guys were standing in front of
- 45:24Speaker 1: each other naked, you wouldn't have any feelings at that,
- 45:27Speaker 1: but it wouldn't funny if we if we within the fantasy,
- 45:30Speaker 1: Like I broke the moment to be like, why are
- 45:32Speaker 1: we spinning on a lazy Susan? Um? Yeah, So I
- 45:39Speaker 1: don't believe that I watched that, and I was like,
- 45:41Speaker 1: first of all, Sarah's beautiful and naked, and j D
- 45:47Speaker 1: is a straight male who was very in love with her,
- 45:51Speaker 1: and I just don't believe that he'd be like, although
- 45:53Speaker 1: she she feels like you should really meet her brother
- 45:58Speaker 1: gay brother, she keeps making a jokes about me. Yeah, well,
- 46:02Speaker 1: I'm saying, I love Dido and I need to meet
- 46:04Speaker 1: her brother Barry because he's the one of the four
- 46:07Speaker 1: brothers that she thinks is gay. Yes, I don't know
- 46:10Speaker 1: if you saw this, but I saw this. Did you
- 46:12Speaker 1: see the light frames in the background this episode? Okay,
- 46:17Speaker 1: go to I got it up. I can go to it.
- 46:20Speaker 1: What are you talking about it? Go to the I'm
- 46:25Speaker 1: not sure if it's the apartment where it's Elliott's apartment
- 46:30Speaker 1: toward the end in the corner. Is that a light frame?
- 46:34Speaker 1: You see it a bunch of times if you go
- 46:36Speaker 1: through the whole scene between the two, it's like a
- 46:38Speaker 1: little black piece in the corner that has nothing to
- 46:43Speaker 1: do with anything. It's almost like it's I think it's
- 46:47Speaker 1: that one. I'm not sure. I don't see it. I
- 46:51Speaker 1: gotta go back. I don't know. I saw a light
- 46:53Speaker 1: frame and I didn't write down the scene that it
- 46:55Speaker 1: was in because I was freaking stoned when I was
- 46:57Speaker 1: watching the show. I feel like there was a that's
- 46:59Speaker 1: where you hit the button, But I feel like there
- 47:01Speaker 1: was a couple of shots where I could see like
- 47:04Speaker 1: the edge of a keynote, it felt like, or the
- 47:06Speaker 1: edge of it. I don't know, I don't see it,
- 47:08Speaker 1: but you know, I'm sure. I'm sure that there's there's
- 47:11Speaker 1: somewhere in there. Yeah, I could be wrong. I'm gonna
- 47:15Speaker 1: look at it again, all right, to make sure love
- 47:17Speaker 1: that people love fuck ups. Donald, Maybe there's a fuck up.
- 47:22Speaker 1: It's so easy to paint things out these days, you know,
- 47:25Speaker 1: because everything is just so computerized and it's it's easy
- 47:29Speaker 1: for someone to go, oh, there's a light, and we'll
- 47:31Speaker 1: just we'll paint that out or put it in shadow
- 47:33Speaker 1: or crop it out. Do you remember when you talked
- 47:36Speaker 1: about how you saw your first CG tier. I feel
- 47:39Speaker 1: like I just saw it in something. I don't know
- 47:41Speaker 1: what it was. I was watching. I was watching something
- 47:42Speaker 1: with Casey and it was like a CG. I was like,
- 47:45Speaker 1: that's CG. You were just recently watching something. I don't
- 47:48Speaker 1: remember what it was. Yeah, the cgtiers are coming, they're
- 47:52Speaker 1: coming strong. I saw it one too recently. It doesn't
- 47:57Speaker 1: look real yet. It doesn't look real. It looks kind
- 47:59Speaker 1: of fake. It's kind of like a piece of ice
- 48:02Speaker 1: tear coming out like it's It's good if you like,
- 48:05Speaker 1: if you have a specific moment that hinges on a tear,
- 48:10Speaker 1: and and and the actors can't do it. First of all,
- 48:15Speaker 1: it's one thing to say, okay, in this scene, you cry, okay,
- 48:18Speaker 1: But to have like that moment of like the Denzel
- 48:20Speaker 1: and Glory moment of like the tear, you know, cresting
- 48:24Speaker 1: the lid and dropping like that, that's pretty freaking hard
- 48:28Speaker 1: to choreograph. And it's almost impossible. And that's why you
- 48:32Speaker 1: want oscars for that shit, right, So I'm saying like, So,
- 48:35Speaker 1: I'm saying like if if, if you know, if your
- 48:37Speaker 1: script has a moment that's so key to it. Yeah,
- 48:40Speaker 1: I mean maybe maybe, maybe it's fine. I think it'll
- 48:43Speaker 1: help with continuity too, because, as we've spoken on the show,
- 48:46Speaker 1: sometimes someone's crying and then all of a sudden they're not,
- 48:48Speaker 1: and then they would have some tears in their eyes.
- 48:50Speaker 1: So I think that's going to help filmmakers be like, Okay,
- 48:52Speaker 1: well it doesn't match. Let me just put a little
- 48:54Speaker 1: gloss on her eyes. Otherwise it looks, you know, where
- 48:56Speaker 1: did all the tears go? Because we're doing this five
- 48:58Speaker 1: hours later, you know. Speaking of Sarah Chuk, I've been
- 49:01Speaker 1: watching Firefly Lane with Oh yeah, how is it? I
- 49:04Speaker 1: just started it last night, Dad, shit is funny She's
- 49:06Speaker 1: so good. Sarah's so good, right, Sarah's so good. So
- 49:10Speaker 1: it's Catherine Katie's good too. But Sarah has a special
- 49:15Speaker 1: place in my heart. And like, like I'm not watching it,
- 49:18Speaker 1: like my wife is watching it. Like my wife is invested,
- 49:21Speaker 1: Like she stands up and she's into it, into it.
- 49:24Speaker 1: And you know, I'll be on a couch playing video
- 49:28Speaker 1: games on my phone or something and Sarah say something
- 49:30Speaker 1: and I'll laugh. I'll like, She's laugh out loud, funny
- 49:33Speaker 1: Sarah chuk and very happy for It's a huge kid, Donald.
- 49:36Speaker 1: I mean she was. When Sarah was on her show,
- 49:38Speaker 1: she was talking about, Oh, I hope we get another
- 49:40Speaker 1: season of it, um, and that I was wondering, is
- 49:43Speaker 1: it a what kind of show is it? I thought
- 49:45Speaker 1: it was a limited series, but if it's a full
- 49:48Speaker 1: lawn series. Wow, good for her, man, It's so good, dude.
- 49:51Speaker 1: I think it's ideal for her because it shot it
- 49:52Speaker 1: where she lives in Vancouver, and uh and I you know,
- 49:56Speaker 1: I didn't know anything about it other than I when
- 49:58Speaker 1: you when you open Netflix, it's like the top trending
- 50:01Speaker 1: show in in the United States. So she's killing it.
- 50:05Speaker 1: That's good for her. I'm really happy for She's such
- 50:07Speaker 1: a good actress. Yeah, man, yeah, yes, and not used
- 50:12Speaker 1: enough in my opinion. No, you know what I mean.
- 50:17Speaker 1: She could be in Marble, she could be in Star Wars.
- 50:21Speaker 1: Sarah has those chops. I think Sarah will offered a
- 50:24Speaker 1: part in Star Wars. She'd say, I'm sorry, give this
- 50:26Speaker 1: role to Donald Fazon. No, she better not. And they'd
- 50:29Speaker 1: be like, Sarah, it's a part for a forty something
- 50:31Speaker 1: blonde woman. And she'd be like, I don't care. Look,
- 50:35Speaker 1: she's she's so athletic. She fronts like she's not coordinated,
- 50:40Speaker 1: but she's really coordinated. Sarah could be an action star easily,
- 50:44Speaker 1: you know what I mean, if she wanted to. She's
- 50:46Speaker 1: very talented and I'm so happy for her. And if
- 50:48Speaker 1: you're listening, um, check out Firefly Lane because Sarah Chalk
- 50:52Speaker 1: is back on top with a top Netflix show. Do
- 50:55Speaker 1: you know I'm speaking of top shows. I read that
- 50:58Speaker 1: wand Division is the number one show on Earth. Wow,
- 51:04Speaker 1: and it deserves it. It's such a good show, man,
- 51:07Speaker 1: it deserves it. Man. It just makes you think so much,
- 51:09Speaker 1: man about like they developed a world and now I'm
- 51:13Speaker 1: stuck and I can't get out, no matter like I
- 51:16Speaker 1: think about it when I'm not when i'm when I
- 51:18Speaker 1: shouldn't be thinking about it, Like what if this is?
- 51:21Speaker 1: Like they've just developed it so well. It's good storytelling. Man.
- 51:23Speaker 1: Have you guy's gotten back and done the rewatch yet? No,
- 51:29Speaker 1: after episode five, you got to go all the way
- 51:30Speaker 1: back to the beginning and rewatch the whole series. It's
- 51:33Speaker 1: like a completely different series. Joel, are you whispering because
- 51:36Speaker 1: you're paving? She's asleep at my feet? Yes, and I
- 51:39Speaker 1: don't want to wake. I think it's really adorable that
- 51:41Speaker 1: you're whispering because your puppy's asleep on your feet. So cute.
- 51:45Speaker 1: And I just like her sleeping. Play with her later.
- 51:49Speaker 1: All right, we're gonna go a break and we come back.
- 51:50Speaker 1: We got a caller for you that is gonna blow
- 51:52Speaker 1: your socks off, okay, and there are gonna be or
- 51:57Speaker 1: buck naked. We'll be right back. And we're bad, and
- 52:07Speaker 1: we're bad. Let's bring here comes Gabrielle Rovera. Ladies and gentlemen,
- 52:16Speaker 1: put your hands together for Gabriella. Hi, guys and friends,
- 52:29Speaker 1: my fiance Jordan's George Jorda, Hi, guys, welcome to the show.
- 52:36Speaker 1: We're very very happy to have you. I can already
- 52:39Speaker 1: tell one thing. Jordan loves Star Wars. Oh, yes, got
- 52:46Speaker 1: baby Yoda? Yeah? Or you got you a nice little
- 52:50Speaker 1: baby Yoda. Now and I see another. I see a puppet.
- 52:53Speaker 1: I see a puppet. It's somebody uppet. Yes, a puppet
- 53:00Speaker 1: made to look like him. That's so cool. Oh my god,
- 53:05Speaker 1: I'm gonna get a puppet of Donald. Oh my god,
- 53:09Speaker 1: you guys look almost I take it cool. I love it.
- 53:12Speaker 1: That's really good. The name of the company. You should
- 53:15Speaker 1: give him a shout out. One of the best gifts
- 53:19Speaker 1: I've ever gotten, Like ever, I think, so do you
- 53:21Speaker 1: ever walk around and do puppet shows with that kind
- 53:24Speaker 1: of hard to do that these days. But I then
- 53:27Speaker 1: once we get out of this pandemic. They did a
- 53:30Speaker 1: good job, Jordan. It looks a lot like you. It
- 53:33Speaker 1: looks more like you than you do a little bit, right, Yeah,
- 53:39Speaker 1: like that too. Oh my god, that's cool. Now you
- 53:42Speaker 1: don't remember you don't remember the name of the company,
- 53:44Speaker 1: because that's a great gift to give people. It's my
- 53:48Speaker 1: puppets on it's on Etsy. They did a really great job.
- 53:51Speaker 1: I'm so so if I go on Etsy and I Joel,
- 53:53Speaker 1: maybe you can search if you go on Etsy and
- 53:55Speaker 1: just search make a puppet that looks like my fiance.
- 54:00Speaker 1: I think I'm gonna get Donald. I'm gonna get Donald.
- 54:02Speaker 1: I'm gonna get me and Donald and do and then
- 54:05Speaker 1: we could do the theme song for our show. We'll
- 54:09Speaker 1: do a music video, no star about a show we made.
- 54:14Speaker 1: Maybe for the live show what we'll do a whole
- 54:16Speaker 1: section with puppets. Yeah, I love it. Oh my gosh, Donald,
- 54:20Speaker 1: We'll duck out of frame because people will be watching,
- 54:22Speaker 1: and we'll operate the puppet like this. Yeah, Now, should
- 54:28Speaker 1: I be you and you be me? Probably that probably
- 54:30Speaker 1: will only end in tears. We'll definitely a good segment
- 54:35Speaker 1: for the live show. All Right, we're gonna do it.
- 54:37Speaker 1: Are you guys gonna tune into the live show? Absolutely?
- 54:40Speaker 1: One of your five thousand guests. Well, wait, by the way,
- 54:43Speaker 1: five thousand might be like, that's unrealistic. I want to
- 54:47Speaker 1: I really want to undersell, so we'll only we'll only
- 54:51Speaker 1: be excited if it's more. So. Let's say there's gonna
- 54:54Speaker 1: be about two hundred people, I'm gonna have five thousand
- 54:56Speaker 1: was a little bit cocky. I think, Well, we'll be
- 54:58Speaker 1: two of the two hundred. All right, I made a
- 55:02Speaker 1: bunch of things from Etsy that Joel is showings Eva
- 55:08Speaker 1: Eva linka puppets. Maybe was that he used, let me
- 55:12Speaker 1: I can check my email. I don't know. Don't worry
- 55:14Speaker 1: about I don't worry. We're distracting from the show. Just
- 55:15Speaker 1: go on Etsy if you want to get a puppet made.
- 55:17Speaker 1: I'll be on there after this show getting donets. I
- 55:22Speaker 1: didn't know that Etsy was like that. I thought Etsy
- 55:25Speaker 1: was like if you build stuff and you're thinking about
- 55:27Speaker 1: and you want to sell something that you I didn't
- 55:29Speaker 1: know like you could like there are people that build
- 55:32Speaker 1: stores on Etsy and sell I didn't I where you
- 55:36Speaker 1: can anything you can think of, someone is making that
- 55:39Speaker 1: on Etsy. It's yeah, I did. I wasn't aware of that,
- 55:42Speaker 1: like and I and I did, man, I I'm sure
- 55:45Speaker 1: there's people making stop motion figures. Yeah, dude, that's what
- 55:48Speaker 1: I did. I went down to there are people selling
- 55:51Speaker 1: full on puppets, full on made puppets for you on Etsy.
- 55:55Speaker 1: You mean you mean not they're kind of puppets, stop
- 55:57Speaker 1: motion puppets. No, like stop motion puppets, like full on on.
- 56:00Speaker 1: They're expensive. No, nothing's you know. And then somewhere you
- 56:04Speaker 1: got the one that looks like you. No, this the
- 56:06Speaker 1: one I got, uh, the one that looks like me?
- 56:09Speaker 1: Was I saw this guy online who does it professional?
- 56:12Speaker 1: He works for Ardman, he works for Uh, he works,
- 56:16Speaker 1: he did, he worked. Him and his brother worked on
- 56:19Speaker 1: uh the Isle of Dogs. His name is Nathaniel Uh.
- 56:24Speaker 1: But they they work. How much does a puppet cost
- 56:28Speaker 1: of you like that? Well, I'm not gonna get into that.
- 56:30Speaker 1: Let's not. We don't have to get into that. There's
- 56:31Speaker 1: a lot of money payments, monthly payments on it. Yeah,
- 56:35Speaker 1: it's well, I mean he's professional. He's a professional stop
- 56:39Speaker 1: motion guy making a likeness that you can animate. I mean, yeah,
- 56:42Speaker 1: it's not gonna be cheap. It's so worth it, though.
- 56:45Speaker 1: It's look at the smile on his face. Man, he's
- 56:47Speaker 1: so happy as it. He's still smiling. By the way.
- 56:50Speaker 1: I want to get puppets of all of us. I'm
- 56:51Speaker 1: gonna get Daniel Joel Donald. Don't Daniel, what I honor you? Yeah,
- 56:57Speaker 1: that would be honest, you would honor me. He turned
- 57:01Speaker 1: it into it like it was like he was going
- 57:03Speaker 1: out on the phone. I don't know, I don't know
- 57:07Speaker 1: if they're gonna be Wait what was the lead time?
- 57:09Speaker 1: How long did it take to get your puppet? I
- 57:12Speaker 1: ordered it in September and then it got here, um
- 57:15Speaker 1: a few days after Christmas. Oh, it's gonna be too
- 57:18Speaker 1: long for our live show, which is probably gonn happened
- 57:20Speaker 1: in March, my custom puppet, Gabriella says, my custom puppet.
- 57:24Speaker 1: There you go, guys, we gave we gave that shop
- 57:27Speaker 1: a shout out. Very cool. All right, guys, where are
- 57:29Speaker 1: you calling from Chicago? Right shot? Shout down? I went
- 57:36Speaker 1: to Northwestern nice Yeah, and Evanston. We didn't really go
- 57:41Speaker 1: in to Chico much. It was too cold. Yes, we
- 57:44Speaker 1: are about a fifteen minute walk away from a Wrigley Field.
- 57:47Speaker 1: Oh you go to games straight up in our neighborhood.
- 57:53Speaker 1: Do you go to games when it's non pandemic times?
- 57:56Speaker 1: Every now and again? I guess they got since they
- 57:58Speaker 1: won the World Series there, they've been a little more expensive.
- 58:01Speaker 1: I think, so Donald, real quick, we just want um,
- 58:05Speaker 1: we have met you at C two C two E
- 58:08Speaker 1: two before. No, it was I a dick. No, No,
- 58:14Speaker 1: we have a photo will show you we were you guys.
- 58:20Speaker 1: Jones and Mary and I do remember that. Yeah, it
- 58:25Speaker 1: was that now that's two e two Chicago Comic Con.
- 58:30Speaker 1: Remember Comic Con, so we can just go. I missed it,
- 58:34Speaker 1: did you guys? Because celebration was like a month after that?
- 58:37Speaker 1: Did you go to celebration right after that? No? No,
- 58:41Speaker 1: that would have been That would have been so much fun.
- 58:43Speaker 1: It was literally but it was like a month after
- 58:46Speaker 1: C two e two, wasn't it something like that? Yeah,
- 58:49Speaker 1: that was such a great time. I remember being I
- 58:52Speaker 1: was in and out of Chicago so much at that moment.
- 58:54Speaker 1: I was like, this is so cool, man. I love Listen,
- 58:57Speaker 1: great pizza. You can't beat the pizza. And I don't
- 59:02Speaker 1: like that that sick ass pie. Chicago bar pizza. C Dude,
- 59:08Speaker 1: you're want to crack if you and you're giving Chicago pizza.
- 59:11Speaker 1: Shout out, what's telling you? Because it's good, dude, it's
- 59:14Speaker 1: good pizza. And then and then Alicia took us to
- 59:18Speaker 1: one night because when we did C two e two,
- 59:20Speaker 1: it was the clad cast of Clueless. I remember Alicia
- 59:23Speaker 1: and Paul took us one night to some restaurant I
- 59:27Speaker 1: forget the name, and I'm but I remember the drinks
- 59:30Speaker 1: were like, you know, we let Alicia order and so
- 59:33Speaker 1: you know, the food was a little you know, it
- 59:35Speaker 1: was vegan, and it was like, you know, raw and
- 59:38Speaker 1: all of that stuff vegan. No, but we would you know,
- 59:41Speaker 1: we're damn we're hanging out right. Who came we haven't
- 59:43Speaker 1: seen it? Who gives a shit? It's edible, right, Ain't
- 59:46Speaker 1: nobody gonna die? You're like, I just want to be
- 59:47Speaker 1: with you, guys. Alicia, hand me the lettuce. I have
- 59:53Speaker 1: an extra piece of lettuce with my lettuce. We went out.
- 59:57Speaker 1: We had a good time in Chicago, man, Chica. All
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: I could think about was Adventures in Babysitting and how
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: nobody would go into how Chicago the city was so
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: scary to the to the kids from Adventures in Babysitting.
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: All right, guys, let's dive in. You have a question
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: for us, Yes, here it is. Besides Elliott, what love
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: interest of JD would you all like to see more of?
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: Was there any character that you felt had great chemistry
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: with j D and in an alternate universe end up
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: with Well, she's not on the show yet, but when
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: Elizabeth Banks gets on the show, I thought that was
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: an excellent choice for a psych out, like because that
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: became a will there won't They also you know, and
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: you kind of wanted them to be it also, so
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: it was definitely one of those things. So if it
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: could be Elizabeth Banks character, yes, all right, I think
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: of Tasty Komba wife because um, I really I really
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: liked her. Yes, I thought she was fun, and I
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: really liked Amy, and I thought Amy was fun and
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: so I, uh, I don't know, my brain went to
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: tasty Koma wife. Yes, I was thinking Kylie, she's about
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: to come up in a few right, she is coming up.
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: A great girl. She was the only black girl you
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: dated on the show. She was Turk approved, and she
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: was Turk approved, Turk approved and everything. Um, and and
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: Mandy Moore is coming up. I guess that season five
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: she was a good girlfriend. Although she didn't laugh, she
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: just said that's so funny. Yes, that's so funny. Yeah,
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: that's so funny. Um all right, what else you got
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: for us? Um? Okay, if each of the main characters
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: wore a mask with a saying or design at work,
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: what would each character have? Oh, you mean like a
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: like a pandemic mask. Yeah, like we'll be wearing them
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: for a while, right, So what would each characters like
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: mask be? Well, Jenny probably hugged me, hug me so
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: needy for love and affection. That's what I'm talking about.
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: That's what I'm talking about. That I'm talking about. That's
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: what I'm talking about. Yeah, the Todds would be flames obviously.
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: Oh yeah yeah. And it wouldn't be a mask. It
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: would be his banana hammock hack. Oh my god. Remember
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: we did this. We did this video with Rob and
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: he has like his own to this day he has
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: its own like comedic Todd props that he has made,
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: and he has one that he pulled. It's a banana hammock.
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: But the the hammock is cartoon cartoonersly a long so um,
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: we pull it out, didn't We haven't pulled out? We do.
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: We do a bit when this E show comes out.
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: You gotta watch you. We had him do this bit
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: where I mean it makes no sense. We were just
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: so feeling so silly. It was like the old days.
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: We were just cracking up, telling Rob to say jokes.
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: But he like acts like he's wiggling, as though you
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: could buy wiggling get out of a fucking banana hammock.
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: And he does like a little wiggle and then pulls
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: it out of his jeans. The hammock part is like
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: four feet long. It's hilarious. It's so stupid, but we laughed.
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: Um yeah, I don't know. I guess yeah, you would
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: definitely be This mask is what I'm talking about. Yeah,
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: absolutely absolutely, What do you think the frick on a stick? Elliott? Yeah, yes, Um,
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: John will be like, don't talk to me, right, yes,
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: I've been like doctor Cox would just be like regular
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: like medical like no right right, no, just no, I'm
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: not participating in a joke with my mask. I don't know.
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: It's funny people that like have a on their mask.
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: I've never that's bizarre. It's like might as well, right,
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: like we're all looking at it. Yeah, I mean there's listen,
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: if I could figure it out, if there's a way
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: to make it so that because now we're starting to
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: have to double up because of the new variants that
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: are coming in and everything like that, if there's a
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: way to make it so that the top one kind
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: of looks like my face. I saw this guy, Yeah,
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: I saw this guy on the web. I mean talking
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: about free time. This guy made you know, they have
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: those realistic masks, masks look like your face. This guy
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: made it, but had it so a normal regular mask
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: looks like it's below his lips. And he goes, I'm
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: gonna I'm gonna test this out. And he goes into
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: a car dealership and the guy's like, sir, sir, put
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: your mask up. And he's like, I'm wearing a mask.
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: He's like, sir, above your nose, and he's like, bro,
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: and he pulls it down. And the guy's like, oh shit,
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: that's cool. Sure, I'm sure. They just need to be comfortable, man,
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: Like my ears are starting to hurt the back of
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: my ears, right, like the rash. Don't y'all get like
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: the little rash two sometimes from the thing and one
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: that doesn't pull my ears forward? Like they're all right,
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: they're all doing this to me. We gotta figure that out.
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: If it's for the rest of it, if it's gonna
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: be for a really long time, we need to figure
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: out something a little bit more comfortable, especially if we
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: have to double up and everything, like now, like maybe
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: we should figure out a way to maybe maybe fake
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: doctors can do it. I don't know. I go to
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: a sports story get and Adidas or Nike branded uh
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: face mask Nike Nike doesn't sell them. Nike won't sell them.
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: They don't have them at the store. They only give
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: them to the employees, so you can't get it from there.
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: You know what I mean, I'm special about the Nike one. Well,
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: it's sporty, so it's made to you know, it's made
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: for sport, right, Adidas, it's sporty. It's made for sports.
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: So it's more coming, like she was saying, there was
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: something particularly special about So I haven't as mask and
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: it's just super comfort, comfortable, more comfortable because it's made
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: for sport. It's made to not be a distraction. You know. Hey,
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: you know what you know what time it is that
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: it's time for Chicago's favorite segment. It's time to fix
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: your live, all right, guys, go ahead, Well a little
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: bit about our life. So we are planning a wedding
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: during this pandemic, and yes, and we had to postpone
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: our reception. We'll still get married, but we had to
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: make that decision to do that. Um, but just real
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: quick after we sent our postponeent email to our family
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: and friends, and an hour later, Dol asked us to
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: be on the show. So I felt like we were
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: sent an angel. But I'm also getting my masters in business,
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: and I work full time as a hair stylist, so
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: I have to physically go into work. So we're just
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: really busy, and Jordan's working from home, of course, but
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: I fixed my life question definitely pertains to this. So
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: I want to know, you know, how do I decide
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: what direction to take my career in once I'm done
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: with school. You know, I don't want to keep changing
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: career paths. I want to have like a stable job
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: that you know, doesn't consume my life because I want
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: to do things like start a family and travel more.
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: But I just want to like, how do I make
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: how can I be sure that the sacrifices and the
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: hard work that come with, you know, working full time
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: and going to school, How do I make sure that
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: it's going to pay off for me in the end?
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: What do you love? Yeah? What is it? Also? What
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: is the other job that you said? There was two?
- 1:08:00Speaker 1: She works as a full time hairstylist and she's going
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: to business school and you're going to business school. Yes,
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: now you I'm assuming, I'm assuming because you're asking this,
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: you don't aspire to like own your own salon it's
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: not out of the question, but a part of me
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: also does think about doing a career change. I would
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: still like to stay in the beauty industry, but maybe
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: not be a hairstylists, you know, be on my feet
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: all day. But I really do like my job. I
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: just want to do something better for my future. My
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: thought is that the thing that lights you up most, Like,
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: forget any preconceived notion you have in your head, like oh,
- 1:08:38Speaker 1: you can't make money at that, like for just for starters,
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: take that stuff, that those voices away, and go what
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: would be my favorite thing to do? Like what would
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: I be so stoked to get up in the morning
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: and do, like you know, like as you brainstorm this,
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: take away any voices you have about oh I can't
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: do that, or oh that's too or everyone does that,
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: and then like start there because I know it's fucking
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: a very contrived expression. Do what you love and the
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: money will follow. But I really, I really believe it,
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: because you're never gonna put more work and passion into something,
- 1:09:15Speaker 1: especially if it's your own business. You can't be something
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: and you're like, oh, I'm doing this to make money,
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: and I really just want to be with my kid
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: at home. It's got to be something that lights you
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: up that Like you watch these people on Shark Tank,
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: you know there there, I just think there's such a
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: good examples because you know, they're putting everything they have
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: on the line, but they love the idea. They're so
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: into the business and so they're willing to dedicate all
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: that time and passion. So that's my my first instinct
- 1:09:39Speaker 1: is to tell you to like kind of hone in
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: on things that you would really light you up in
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: your day. I agree with you, Zach. I think you're
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: absolutely right about that. Is there anything that comes to
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: mind when we when we say this, anything that like
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: comes up for you? Yeah? So you know, I became
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: a hair stylist not just because I like doing hair,
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: but I liked the things about it that made it
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: a business. You know that you kind of are your
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: own small business in a way, marketing yourself. You have
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: to grow yourself. I liked I like to talk to people.
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: I feel like I can really connect with people that
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: I'm good at it. So I felt like those were
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: in hairstyling. So that's why I decided to go to
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: cosmetology school in the first place. So definitely something to
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: you know, kind of continue that would be great well.
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: And also you have a lot of experience in that area.
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: It's always good if if you don't hate it, it's
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: great to take all your knowledge. You've seen how your
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: places run. I'm sure you've seen places where you're like, oh,
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: I would totally do this differently, or oh, I like
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: how they do this, and you can totally mold it
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: to be your your baby. Yeah, And it's also kind
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: of intimidating right now to open a small business, you know,
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: especially during the pandemic. I think if you'd weight it
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: would Yeah, you can if you can wait. I mean,
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: you're lucky that you can rely on your skill set
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: to keep having money. Yeah, you have a trade that
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: you can keep making money during this time. And actually
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: you're one of the people that can make money during
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: this time because so many people can't even do what
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: they do right now. Yeah, it's a yeah, I'm I'm
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: on the same page as I'm on the same page
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: as Zach. Find what you love and go for yours.
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: I tell Zack that's that's what I sell that Zach
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: all the time. Go for yours, man, you gotta go
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: for yours. You gotta go for yours? Do I do
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: I or do I not say? Zach? What do I
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: say when you're like, dude, I think I'm gonna get
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: this part? What do I tell you? It's either go
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: for yours or that's what's up. That's what's up, that's
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: right for yours, And then if I'm lucky, it'll be like,
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: go for yours, that's what's up. No. But I mean,
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: like when Donald and I each set out to to
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: try this bizarre career that it's very very very hard
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: to become successful at. You couldn't have We couldn't have
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: dedicated the amount of time and the amount of rejection
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: and the amount of of you know, humbling you get
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: in in a given year if you weren't so one
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: hundred percent committed to it. So that allows you to
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: take the hits and the ego fucking slams and the
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: ups and downs of this wacky career that we took
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: on because we just love it so much. It's like
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: it's like it's we couldn't We wouldn't want to do
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: anything else. So you have to find what that thing
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: is for you that you know, starting a business, you're
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: gonna have ups and downs. You're gonna have ups where
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: you're like, oh my god, I can't believe this wonderful
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: thing happened, and then you're gonna have downs We're like,
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: oh fuck, I guess what just happened. And that's so.
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: But if you love it, if you're so into it,
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: if it's like your baby, that's all gonna be, You're
- 1:12:52Speaker 1: gonna you're gonna never want to give it up. Yeah,
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: and watch lots of Shark Tank. Yes, because I I'm
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: joking because I don't know anything about business, but I
- 1:13:02Speaker 1: feel like I've learned a lot from watching Shark Tank.
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: They have a lot of passion, that's for sure. You
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: can see it, you know. I once went to I'm
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: friends with Chris Sakin. I once went to one of
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: the tapings and he took me in the control room,
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: and you learn that they those interview sessions go on
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: for like three hours. They're like really long, and they
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: edit them all down to that little Yeah, they're long
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: because they they they they're not all three hours, but
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: they're long, and they cut them down to whenever they
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: are fifteen. I've never I've never watched Shark Tank. Please
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: don't add a people, please don't add me. Um, but
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: I have a question. I don't think anyone's gonna be
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: passionately mad at you for not watching. You'd be surprised. Um,
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: but how what's the success ratio? Um? It's all over
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: the place, It's all over the place. Um. The I
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: think the most successful one is scrub Daddy that we
- 1:13:58Speaker 1: had on as one of our advertisers, and the you know,
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: because I genuinely was shouting out that sponge, I think
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: that's their most successful one them. But you know, some
- 1:14:06Speaker 1: of them, some of them are huge, and some of them,
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: you know, they A business is only as as strong
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: as the people running it, and of course the idea
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: and some of the people, you know, they might have
- 1:14:19Speaker 1: a great idea, but they don't know what they're doing
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: and they run into the ground. Dude, has anybody ever
- 1:14:23Speaker 1: walked in It was like, I want to open rest
- 1:14:25Speaker 1: a chain of restaurants. Um. Maybe I don't think it's
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: I don't know. They've done food things before. I remember
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: if it was specifically a chain of brick and mortars,
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: but they've definitely done food items and trucks. There was
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: a truck Eppo. There's food trucks. I don't think there's
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: a brick and mortar restaurant things. I don't think anyway.
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: The point is, guys, you're welcome. You're welcome, We welcome,
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: You're kind of welcome. You're kind of welcome. We kind
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: of gave you something. We gave a good pep talk Donald. Yeah, yeah, absolutely,
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: because that's really all we can give you on this.
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: At the end of the day, it's up to you
- 1:14:58Speaker 1: to make it on your own to go. Also, you
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: can ruminate on that. Like it's weird to like like
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: come up with that like on a podcast while we're
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: talking to you, But like I think it's a good
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: thing to just sort of meditate and ruminate on, Like
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: what would I be most stoked to get up and
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: do every day? Like if there were if there was
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: if if if I if a genie said to me,
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: your dream business will come true tonight, what would it be?
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: Like what is it that you know? Just and and
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: just don't get stopped, don't go I can't do that, Like,
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: don't let the voices in your head talk to that
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: white board, get the whiteboard, put that white board. Definitely
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: write it on a whiteboard, right, I mean, remind yourself
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: every day said, remind yourself every day what you said
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: you wanted to do, put it up, stare at it,
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: and then ask yourself each day, what could I be doing?
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: Is there anything I could be doing today that would
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: be furthering me getting that dream to come true? Yeah,
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: that's kind of what the point of the white board
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: is in my mind, is that if I'm sitting here
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: at my desk, I'm just gonna you can't help but
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: catch yourself staring at the board, and then you go,
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: you know what for for goal number four? I haven't
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: done anything in like a week, Why don't I write
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: and write that email I'm afraid to write. You know,
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: it just gets you. It keeps you focused on your
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: on your goals. Do you know what I mean? You
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: can even try to you can even try to hide
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: it in other rooms. You'll accidentally walk into the room
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: and see the white board, look at it staring at you. Dude.
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: It would be it's there always, dude. It's like I So,
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: since we started talking about that, I did that. I
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: wrote a bunch of things down, and I you know,
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: I've since erased it and wrote new things down. It
- 1:16:30Speaker 1: continues to evolve, right, I recommend that for everybody, even
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: if even if your goal is outlandishly wild, it's something
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: to get you motivated to keep it moving, especially in
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: these times, right. And I'm just of a belief system
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: that that doesn't matter how wild that thing is, because
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: shit just fucking happened. I mean Amanda sometimes Amanda's had
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: Amanda Clutes has had on hers forever, like Oprah, she's
- 1:16:59Speaker 1: obsessed with. She wants to somehow to be involved with Oprah.
- 1:17:03Speaker 1: And like last year she's like being interviewed by Gail.
- 1:17:06Speaker 1: I'm like, you've reached your one degree from Oprah. Like
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: it doesn't matter how outlandish it is, Like make that
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: shit happen. You know. She she a year ago, you know,
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: before all the things that happened to a man that happened,
- 1:17:18Speaker 1: she was like, I wish one day I could go
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: to Oprah has this like retreat leadership retreater for women
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: I believe in. And she's like, oh my god, like
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: one of my life goals is to get invited that. Well,
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: now she's like a host on the Talk and friends
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: with Gail. I'm like, that shit's gonna happen. Anything could happen,
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: but in her mind, in her mind, a year ago
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: that was like outlandish, but do it all right, we
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: gotta go, but thank you guys, and um, please come
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: to the live show since you said you were, you
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: inspired us. If you indeed see puppetry on the live shows,
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: all you know where it came from. You know where
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: it came from. Yeah, right, Gabriella. They are so cute, adorable, dude,
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: I remember them from you. Yeah. Um, well I think
- 1:18:10Speaker 1: we did it. Donald, We did do it, and we
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: had some giggles. We did and and you know what,
- 1:18:17Speaker 1: I'm sorry about the leaflower if you hear that, M
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: sure there are no leaves left in my yard. I
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: just want to say, you know, uh, we're starting to
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: get into some crazy uh new territory numbers are dropping
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: dramatically in the United States of America and around the world.
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: Uh please, people, do not let your guard down. Now
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: is not the time to let your guard down. Now
- 1:18:48Speaker 1: is the time. You made it this far, you know
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: what I mean. Now, don't get it fucking now, fucking well,
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: don't get it now this far extra extra cautious. Don't
- 1:18:58Speaker 1: let your guard down. There's new variants swirling around the
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: United States, and you know it could all pop up again.
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: So until we are safe, safe, safe the safe can be,
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: you know, until this virus has been kicked in the butt.
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: Please wear a mask, o ye, Please wash your hands,
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: wash your hands, and be safe. Be safe, and don't
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: think about just yourself. Think about the people around you
- 1:19:27Speaker 1: as well. I get it. I get it that we're
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: all sick of the mask. But just think about the
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: people around you, because you know, I feel horrible if
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: I gave somebody COVID nineteen. I would too if you
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: gave it to me. On Tuesday's show, we will debut
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: the sound pad. Oh, by the way, I need ummm
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: one of them. Of course it's a good one. Donald,
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: do you have any I know, I know that you're
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: feeling like you have buyer's remorse, but um do you
- 1:20:01Speaker 1: have any sounds you would like in the pad? Wu
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: tang forever you want? Yeah, by the way, anything you
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: want tang? What you just want to you just want
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: you sang wu tang wu tang forever Wu tang? Okay?
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: Put in there in there, all right? I need that
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: in there? What else? How about this firm? I got one,
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: I got one, I got one, I got one, I
- 1:20:25Speaker 1: got one. I need a high pitch fart. Daniel like
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: her like like like oh like, yeah, I got a fluttering,
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: fluttering sphincter. How about this one? Here we go from
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: my sneakers. You know that ship saved my life quite
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: a few times. She's the fastest hunker juck in the galaxy.
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: It's wait, do you want to do? You want to
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: give me a quick Star Wars sound bite that I
- 1:20:51Speaker 1: can use do or do not? There is no try. Yeah,
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: good'll put that in there. I'm very exciting. How do
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: you warn those sneakers? Yeah? By the way, no, man,
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: I'm not trying to wait, wait, bust those up. That
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: should cost you money, dog, I know, but I know
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: I'm not. I'm not down with you like putting them
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: on a shelf that never get worn. Rock them, don't
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: stock them. Yeah, rock'em, don't stock them. Rock'em, don't stock them. Rock'em.
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: Don't stop the stocking working all around the clock. Rock'em.

- 1:21:47Speaker 1: We brought it back. It's not over. Say that ship.
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: Say what you gotta say, damn it. Be kind. Call
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: your mother, Tell her you love her. If your mother's
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: no longer here, call someone else, call your father, Tell
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: me love them. Mhmm. Why are you looking at me
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: like that? I'm not looking at you like anything. I
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: like you're looking at me and holding in your laugh.
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: And I'm trying to tell everyone to call their mom.
- 1:22:14Speaker 1: Because you started off with be kind, Yeah, be kind,
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: But you said it so, you said it so softly. Well,
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: because I didn't know if I was gonna allow you
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: to continue to show or if you were really stop
- 1:22:28Speaker 1: this ship five six, seven, eight Stories about show we
- 1:22:33Speaker 1: made about a bunch of dots and nurses, I said,

- 1:22:52Speaker 1: M h
