- 0:00$16.00 silver? Is that where we're headed?
- 0:04Or maybe do we put a 0 on the end of that and make it $160
- 0:09silver? Sure, I'll get bashed for even
- 0:13saying that we could have $80.00 silver, but the prospects for
- 0:17silver look brighter and brighter and I've got a big bank
- 0:21that I bet you've never heard of.
- 0:24They said something very positive about silver.
- 0:27We're going to go through a brief report that they put out,
- 0:30but it's good news for our friend silver.
- 0:33There's so much going on in the world.
- 0:35We've got the massive BRICS summit coming up on August 22nd.
- 0:40More and more people are saying gold back currency is coming.
- 0:44There's even reports that the Russians have officially
- 0:47announced that it will be a gold backed currency.
- 0:51Things are going to get very interesting for us in the world
- 0:54of precious metals. Guys this big bricks meeting
- 0:57August 22nd. Somewhere around there could be
- 1:01the day a a white swan event for the gold price and the silver
- 1:06price. Look, we may not get immediate
- 1:09response from the precious metals.
- 1:11We know there's a concerted effort possibly to tamp down the
- 1:15price to keep it under control. But the general weather
- 1:19conditions look like we're headed for a good storm in the
- 1:23price of silver and gold. Have you ever heard of a NZ
- 1:29bank? Come on.
- 1:30Right. Yeah.
- 1:31You guys, we're we're a sophisticated crowd.
- 1:33I'll be honest, I don't think it's not a bank.
- 1:36That was on the top of my mind. A NZ.
- 1:39That's the Australia, New Zealand bank.
- 1:42They came out with a very, very interesting tidbit about silver.
- 1:48Let me read this to you first. Just so you know who we're
- 1:50dealing with. Bear with me as I pull up a
- 1:54brief description of a NZANZ bank.
- 2:02OK? Why am I OK?
- 2:03Here it is. No, bear with me.
- 2:09A NZ Bank here. I've got it.
- 2:10I've got it. Don't leave.
- 2:12OKANZ Bank is the Australia and New Zealand Banking Group
- 2:17Limited, Australia and New Zealand.
- 2:20That explains the A NZ. They're a massive bank.
- 2:24They're saying things very positive about silver and we're
- 2:28going to get right to that. It's an Australian multinational
- 2:31banking and financial services company headquartered in
- 2:33Melbourne, Vic. It is Australia's second largest
- 2:39bank by assets. OK, the second largest bank in
- 2:43Australia. Some of you might be joining me
- 2:45from Australia. It's early morning right now
- 2:48here in the United States. If you're from Australia, have
- 2:51you heard of A and Z Bank? I imagine you have.
- 2:53It's probably like Bank of America here in the United
- 2:57States or Citigroup or our favorite bank that we all love
- 3:00so much, JP Morgan and our good friend Jamie Dimon.
- 3:04You know what? I need to get a box to put Jamie
- 3:07Dimon in. Let me ask you.
- 3:08Let's ask Janet Yellen if that's a good idea.
- 3:11No, let's ask Jerome Powell. Jerome, is it a good idea we get
- 3:14a Jamie Dimon box? Absolutely.
- 3:17All right, Jerome, time to cut rates.
- 3:20Now back to ANZ Bank and what they said about silver, because
- 3:24there's a lot we can read into this.
- 3:26There's a lot, there's a lot of commentary we can have
- 3:29surrounding these comments. They said an acceleration in the
- 3:33transition to renewable energy is supporting metals not usually
- 3:38associated with renewables such as silver.
- 3:42This isn't even the good part guys.
- 3:44And silver and the silver market may struggle to adjust.
- 3:49And when they say struggle to adjust that means price to the
- 3:52upside. Okay economist at A and Z Bank
- 3:55report. Let me give you a couple quotes
- 3:57from A and Z Bank. Due to its high electrical
- 3:59conductivity and durability, silver has become important in
- 4:04the solar industry with the installation of solar capacity
- 4:08rapidly growing its role as an industrial metal this year.
- 4:15This is key, guys. Listen to this, Listen to this
- 4:18because we're gonna, we're going to talk about this.
- 4:20This year, China is expected to add nearly as much as the total
- 4:26installed capacity in the US Let me back up and explain that.
- 4:31That means that this year alone in China, they will be
- 4:34installing more solar panels in just one year than exist in the
- 4:40entire United States right now. And we give China a hard time
- 4:45about their environmental stuff. It seems like maybe they're a
- 4:49little more green, right? OK, By 2025, we expect
- 4:54industrial demand for silver from solar to make up 53%.
- 5:00Wait a minute. By 2025, Fifty. 3% of total
- 5:05demand. This will place increasing
- 5:08pressure on supplies. Before I forget, you know who
- 5:10sent me this article. You know where this idea came
- 5:13from, This great information. You know where it came from.
- 5:16It came from you. It came from a guy named Keaton
- 5:19who emailed me 5:00 o'clock this morning.
- 5:21I'm laying in bed working and I get this e-mail from Keaton with
- 5:25this article. Thank you Keaton.
- 5:27Thank you to all of you that send me great information.
- 5:31My e-mail address is always in the description of every video.
- 5:34Guys, China is installing more solar panels this year then the
- 5:39United States has in total existence in one year.
- 5:43Guys, think about this, It's been reported that the next
- 5:46generation, the new generations of solar panels are again now
- 5:50using more silver. So think about this, we have
- 5:53more solar panels being produced.
- 5:56They have silver in them. So there's more silver because
- 5:59there's more solar panels. But not only are there more
- 6:01solar panels, a double bonuses, there's more silver in those
- 6:06more solar panels. They're saying by 2025.
- 6:10I missed that the first time I read it, there's a double,
- 6:14double, double bonus for us. By 2025, industrial demand for
- 6:19silver will make up 53% of the total demand.
- 6:24That's huge. We could be in for some great
- 6:27times and silver. But wait, our friends at the
- 6:31Australia, New Zealand Bank. Now, when you're at the Country
- 6:34Club tonight, having dinner, you can start talking about a NZ
- 6:38bank. If you're in America and you're
- 6:39going to look like you're smart and sophisticated, right?
- 6:42Or if you're at 711 getting a Slurpee, like I'll probably be
- 6:45doing, you can talk to the guy at the counter and say, you
- 6:48know, a NZ bank says that by 2025, silver demand will be
- 6:55going through the roof. 53% of the silver produced every year
- 6:59will be going to solar. Now let's get to the next point.
- 7:02I do like Slurpees. Do you like Slurpees?
- 7:05My kids love Slurpees. Slurpees are expensive growth
- 7:11and mine production. This is what they say about the
- 7:13supply of silver. Again, this is A and Z Bank, the
- 7:17most prestigious bank in Australia and New Zealand.
- 7:21Growth in mine production is largely beholden.
- 7:24I love that word, beholden to other metal metals projects for
- 7:29which silver is a byproduct. So what that means is most
- 7:34that's produced every year is a byproduct.
- 7:36It doesn't come from mines, It doesn't come from Hekla, doesn't
- 7:39come from Fortuna, it doesn't really even come from from First
- 7:42Majestic, although First Majestic is an awesome silver
- 7:46company. Nonetheless, most of the silver,
- 7:50I think it's like 75 or 80%, is a byproduct mostly of zinc
- 7:54mining and mostly mostly from copper mining.
- 7:57And our friend Ross Beatty, the godfather of precious metals,
- 8:01the chairman of the board of Equinox Gold, another company
- 8:04that I happen to be very fond of.
- 8:06And I have an interview on my channel with Greg Smith, the
- 8:08CEO. You might want to check that out
- 8:10nonetheless. Ross Beatty who started like 8
- 8:13super successful mining companies over the years I've
- 8:17heard him say that now the new copper mines.
- 8:20Remember, most silver comes from copper mining.
- 8:22It's a byproduct, it's an afterthought.
- 8:24But the new copper deposits are different.
- 8:26A lot of them are much deeper and guess what?
- 8:29There's not as much silver with them.
- 8:31And guess what? Mexico basically just outlawed
- 8:35open pit mining. Mexico's making it extremely
- 8:38difficult for silver miners to operate the The table is being
- 8:42set for a grand feast for silver old Smitty the silver bear named
- 8:49by our friend Pat Holland. Remember Pat Holland?
- 8:51I'm trying to get him back on the show.
- 8:53He's a busy guy. We love him $85 silver coin shop
- 8:57Chris, who's here working right now to make this all possible,
- 9:02says take the blindfold off Smitty.
- 9:05When we hit $85 silver, does it feel like we might be heading
- 9:08that way? I mean, this is unbelievable.
- 9:14OK. It also, it also says that above
- 9:20ground inventories of silver remain plentiful.
- 9:23OK, we got to accept that that's not good news, but have dropped
- 9:28sharply over the past couple of years because we know from the
- 9:32Silver Institute that over the last two years there's been a
- 9:35big deficit in silver. There's been much more silver
- 9:38demanded then has been supplied. Guys, I think this is great news
- 9:44from A and Z. We got still got a lot more to
- 9:46talk about it. What would happen if your silver
- 9:49and gold got stolen? We're going to talk about that.
- 9:51Do you keep silver and gold at your house?
- 9:53What if somebody stole it? You know what if you had a party
- 9:57at your house and there were thousands of people?
- 9:59I know you're a big social and what if your silver or gold
- 10:02disappeared? We're going to talk about that,
- 10:04OK. And we're going to talk about
- 10:06the difference between the spot price and the futures price.
- 10:09We got a lot more to talk about. But before we do that, thank you
- 10:12for being here. Please give this video a thumbs
- 10:16up. Press that thumbs up.
- 10:17When we get to 100, I ring that bell 10 times.

- 10:33So please subscribe to the channel.
- 10:34I also want to mention to you there's a lot of scams out there
- 10:38that go on in the comments section of YouTube videos and
- 10:41I've been fortunate. The channel has grown.
- 10:43I get a lot of views. The scammers are all over our
- 10:46comments section. They're very tricky.
- 10:48I will never, ever, ever ask you any way, shape or form to give
- 10:54me your credit card number. There's a new scam they're
- 10:56doing. They're new and creative.
- 10:58They come up with new ways to scam people.
- 11:00Never will I ask you for your credit card information.
- 11:03Never will I ask you to contact me on WhatsApp.
- 11:06Never will I ask you to click on some link that asks you.
- 11:09You can click on my links, but the ones, if anything, ever ask
- 11:12you for any personal information.
- 11:13Avoid it really. If you want to get in touch with
- 11:16me, my e-mail address is in the description of every video.
- 11:20OK, Thank you Coin shop, Chris, and thank you guys in the past
- 11:24for all of your super chats. It goes a long way to help
- 11:28support this channel. Susie and I are doing this as
- 11:30our primary income source raising 2011 year old girls
- 11:33which would become very expensive.
- 11:35So thank you, thank you, thank you.
- 11:36Never expected, always appreciated.
- 11:39Let's head to the comments real quick.
- 11:40And we got more to talk about Zimbabwe news.
- 11:44Yeah. Marshmas the the if you're
- 11:46talking about the Russian embassy, I believe in Zimbabwe
- 11:50came out with a report that this new reserve currency will indeed
- 11:56be backed by gold. OK, there's no you know, Jim
- 12:01Rickard said it. The new reserve currency from
- 12:03the BRICS nations backed by gold.
- 12:07We're getting reports that the Russians are officially saying
- 12:10it will be backed by gold. Thank you for bringing that up,
- 12:13Ron. Forgot about the Alabama
- 12:14beaches. Come to Corpus Christi best
- 12:17beaches. OK, you know what?
- 12:18Maybe I'll look into that. This year.
- 12:20I go to Alabama most years, somewhere in October, November.
- 12:25So Corpus Christi, low blood pressure.
- 12:27Remind me of that again. Snake bite.
- 12:30Hey buddy, Good to see you. Snake bite.
- 12:33August 22nd, 2023 Bricks Announcer Gold Back Curtsy
- 12:39Marsh. Man, you have girls too.
- 12:41Yes, I have twin girls. I'm a Nigerian Prince giving
- 12:45away free silver. Thomas Drellick.
- 12:48Yes, that's a very common Nigerian Prince.
- 12:51Name. Thomas.
- 12:52Send me an e-mail and I will send you all of my banking
- 12:55account information so I can get my share of that free silver.
- 12:58No, guys, never send your banking information.
- 13:01Never send your credit card unless you absolutely are
- 13:04comfortable. I will never ask you for either.
- 13:06OK? If you want to help the channel,
- 13:08super chats are great. And then I have a PayPal link, I
- 13:11think in the description of all my videos.
- 13:14But you know this is free, right?
- 13:16I've been sponsored in the past. I have a sponsorship upcoming,
- 13:22you know, anyway, but I'm never going to ask for that
- 13:24information. Good morning, Matt.
- 13:25Tindo. What's the girls?
- 13:27The gold ratio. Oh, boy, that's a good one.
- 13:31I don't know how to answer that. All right, guys, what would
- 13:37happen if your silver and gold were stolen?
- 13:41Maybe you stack silver. Maybe you stack gold.
- 13:43What would happen if you went to look at your stack and poof, it
- 13:47was gone? All your silver's gone.
- 13:50Right. Right here. 10 ounce bar.
- 13:54All right. Let's say you got some of those.
- 13:56I just have one, of course. But nonetheless, let's say you
- 13:59got a big pile of them and they're gone.
- 14:02Are you covered? What's your situation?
- 14:04We've got a great subscriber from New York.
- 14:07He's been in the insurance business for 50 years.
- 14:09His name's Mike. He sent me a great e-mail last
- 14:13night. I'm not going to read it line by
- 14:15line because he's doing a little more research, but there's a
- 14:18couple key things we can talk about in in terms of if your
- 14:22silver and gold were to be able to disappear, be stolen.
- 14:26Number one, you might have a little bit of coverage under a
- 14:29homeowners or renters policy if you have that.
- 14:33But it's not going to be significant, right?
- 14:36It could be $500, it could be 1000, it could be 2000, but
- 14:40likely it's not going to be very much.
- 14:41You might be able to add like a rider on to your homeowners
- 14:46policy. And again, guys, I'm not giving
- 14:48financial advice, just what I'm learning, just what I'm passing
- 14:51along. You can do some research on your
- 14:53own as well, but you may be able to put some type of rider on
- 14:56your homeowners policy to increase the amount.
- 15:00But then it gets tricky because there's different insurance
- 15:03policies available based upon whether you have a coin
- 15:08collection like a numismatic type collection right?
- 15:12Coins that are valued for their silver and gold content, but on
- 15:15top of that because they're considered rare and people will
- 15:18pay a big premium, right? Like an Ultra rare American
- 15:22Silver Eagle or an ultra rare gold whatever.
- 15:26Buffalo from you know, whatever you know are no ultra Rare
- 15:29Morgan that's worth more than just the silver content.
- 15:32There's different. Hey, thank you Neil for the
- 15:34Super chat, I'm Lucky Neil and thank you for your help on the
- 15:39channel Neil, I appreciate that. That is awesome.
- 15:43So when you're looking at insurance, there's difference
- 15:46between ensuring bullion and ensuring numismatic a
- 15:50collection. OK, there are and again I'm not
- 15:53an expert. I'm trying to relay what what
- 15:55this great gentleman Mike said to me and if I screw anything
- 15:59up, I apologize. But it's a little seems to be a
- 16:02little easier to get insurance on a coin collection, a
- 16:05numismatic collection, OK, but then there's a bunch of hoops
- 16:08you got to jump through to insure it like you know have it
- 16:12appraised and and do that type of thing all right.
- 16:15If you just want to insure a bunch of these bullion, let's
- 16:19say you got a bunch of these sitting around your house, it
- 16:23becomes even more difficult. There's appears to not be as
- 16:26many options available and there's limits and I think he
- 16:31mentioned like $100,000 you probably you probably have a
- 16:35couple 100,000 or 500,000 of silver at your house.
- 16:38But nonetheless, it becomes a little trickier.
- 16:41And it appears from what I read and what I learned from Mike and
- 16:45what I looked up online, that there's even fewer options
- 16:49available in that regard. He did mention a company called
- 16:52Shore. SURE, he wasn't sure, pardon the
- 16:57pun, and didn't want to give, like a lot of details.
- 17:01But that's one you can possibly check out that might offer
- 17:04insurance policies on physical metal.
- 17:06Because think about silver and gold, right?
- 17:09And then they could become much more valuable, right?
- 17:12Aren't we kind of hoping for that guys?
- 17:15And and you know, if it were to disappear on you, that would be
- 17:21devastating. You know, silver and gold have
- 17:25all these wonderful qualities. There's no counterparty risk.
- 17:28And one of the articles I read brought up a great point, like
- 17:30the only real risk associated with silver and gold, is it
- 17:35being confiscated or stolen. And we know, right?
- 17:39I mean, because you own it. You hold it when you when you
- 17:42hold a 10 ounce silver bar in your dirty little paws, you got
- 17:47it. It's yours.
- 17:48You're not relying on a bank. You're not relying on anybody
- 17:52else to provide you with that value.
- 17:55You hold it. And man, it feels good, right?
- 17:58I mean, we love our silver and our gold for that matter.
- 18:02But the risk is the one risk is that it disappears.
- 18:06And think about what happens when there's big wars.
- 18:09I don't say war, Susie gets. And also I got to talk to you
- 18:12about the red shirt. Don't remind me at the end.
- 18:15I got a big controversy here in the house about the red shirt.
- 18:18But nonetheless, when there's wars, because Susie says I can't
- 18:22say, hey, thank you, Coin shop, Chris.
- 18:24You guys, man, so nice when there's war, Not war, war.
- 18:29What's the first thing they do? They take the gold, right, The
- 18:32conquering country. I wonder why that is.
- 18:35I wonder why. And that goes on even to today.
- 18:39I mean, why are central banks buying all this gold?
- 18:42Why do conquering countries come in and take the gold?
- 18:47Hmm. Interesting.
- 18:49Oh, it's just a barbaric relic, of course, right?
- 18:52Gold and silver. I mean, come on.
- 18:55Oh yeah, Silver's only been the most common form of money for
- 18:58like 5000 years, but nonetheless, we digress.
- 19:02So guys, I hope you never faced that situation.
- 19:06I hope I never faced that situation where thank you for
- 19:09the Super chat, Super Chat Coin Shop Chris absolutely not
- 19:16expected from you of all people. Guys please tell coin shop Chris
- 19:20thank you for his help on the channel.
- 19:22This really wouldn't be possible without his help.
- 19:25Neil as well helping out. You know, it's awesome and good
- 19:31people, man. You guys are good people.
- 19:33That's what energizes me to come down here and do this right to
- 19:37get together with you. There's 250 of us on an early
- 19:40Saturday morning. How cool is that?
- 19:43And remember, we are just a sliver of a sliver of the
- 19:47population, especially in the United States.
- 19:49We need to stick together. You are part of a group on my
- 19:53channel, on other channels you watch, you are part of.
- 19:57We're a little subgroup of the silver and gold community.
- 20:00Check out the Silver Digin Club sometime on Reddit, guys.
- 20:04I'm telling you, they're doing a great, great job over there as
- 20:07well. Let's move on.
- 20:10I got another e-mail. Hold on here.
- 20:13This one from our friend Scott D I'll never say your full last
- 20:17name online unless you want me to anyway, Scott D said.
- 20:21Dear Ron, I watch it. Enjoy your YouTube channel.
- 20:24It's very informative. I apologize for torturing you
- 20:28sometimes. Scott DI have a question to ask
- 20:30you. I've noticed that the spot price
- 20:33of both silver This is a common question a lot of you have.
- 20:37The spot price of both silver and gold varies on a different
- 20:41precious, on different precious metals dealers websites at the
- 20:45same time and date every day. For instance, today 2:00 PM, the
- 20:50Spot gold and silver on SD bullion site was 1935 and 2331.
- 20:55For silver on Monument Metals it was different.
- 20:59Instead of 1935 for gold, it was 1927 and instead of 2331 for
- 21:05silver it was 2316. At Max was even more 1939 for
- 21:10gold and 2340 for silver. What gives?
- 21:14I've noticed that this since I started purchasing these metals
- 21:17from different online dealers. I would appreciate knowing why
- 21:20the difference and if you could enlighten me, well you're in the
- 21:24right place for enlightenment. I can't tell you how many people
- 21:28have contacted me saying that I've enlightened them a little
- 21:31bit of light, Maybe it's all these light bulbs, but we'll do
- 21:34our best. I want to explain this to you.
- 21:38What's why you see different prices for silver and gold?
- 21:42There's two things, two things #1.
- 21:45The easiest answer to that question is some sites use the
- 21:49Spot gold, silver price, OK? That's the immediate price for
- 21:54silver and gold. If you want to buy it right now,
- 21:56it's the spot price. Correct me if I'm wrong on this,
- 21:59guys. I'm not.
- 22:00You know, we're all, all of us learning together, but that's
- 22:04the spot. I go to kitco.com, that's where
- 22:07I get the spot price of silver and gold.
- 22:11A lot of sites, for instance, Yahoo Finance, if you go there
- 22:15and on the top bar, they always still have silver and gold up
- 22:18there, which I find very interesting right along with the
- 22:21S&P 500 and everything else. But remember, it's just those
- 22:24silver and gold are just barbarous relics, right?
- 22:27But for some reason, Yahoo Finance has them up there.
- 22:30Yahoo Finance, the price is always different from Kitco and
- 22:35I'm like, huh, interesting. And there's an easy answer as to
- 22:38why that's the case. Kitco uses the spot price.
- 22:42Yahoo Finance and another number of other sites they use the
- 22:47futures price they use. I think it's what's called the
- 22:49current month. The most current futures
- 22:52contract price and futures are contracts to buy silver at a set
- 22:57price on a set day. I don't know all the details
- 23:00right now, but what are we, June, July 8th?
- 23:02So maybe there's a futures contract that expires later in
- 23:07July. I don't know the specific dates.
- 23:09Maybe it's not until the early August.
- 23:11It's likely going to be somewhere within 30 days and
- 23:15that price is always going to be higher.
- 23:18Okay? If it's not, if it's lower
- 23:21technically you want to use a big technical term.
- 23:23I believe that's called backwardation and that does
- 23:26happen from time to times where the for the spot price is
- 23:29actually higher than the futures price.
- 23:31But usually you're going to see a difference between the spot
- 23:35price, like on Kitco, the immediate price and the futures
- 23:38price. With gold it usually seems to be
- 23:42somewhere between $5 and $10.00 an ounce.
- 23:45With silver it can be like $0.10 to $0.20.
- 23:48So that's why that's the case number two, when you go to
- 23:52different, I'm not accusing anybody of anything, but I think
- 23:56a lot of the online bullion retailers, they want to use the
- 24:00highest spot price within reason without without drawing your
- 24:06attention as they can because the higher the spot prices the
- 24:10higher they can or the higher, I'm sorry the price of gold and
- 24:13silver, that's not the spot price usually that's the futures
- 24:16price, some sort or something. But the higher that prices that
- 24:20they can say gold is, let's say the spot price is 1900 even, but
- 24:26the futures price is 1915. Well, they can base their
- 24:31pricing on their website off, They'd rather base it off the
- 24:341915 than the 1900. Does that make sense?
- 24:38I'm not accusing anybody of anything.
- 24:40What I'm saying is if you're buying gold and silver, right?
- 24:44Let's say you're buying this bar, it's a CMCMT metals bar.
- 24:49If I was going to and it's .99999999999999999% pure, If I
- 24:58was going to buy another one of those, I would do a Google
- 25:01search. I would search on eBay.
- 25:03I would look everywhere to find the best reputable seller that
- 25:09has that exact bar and I the best price amongst all those,
- 25:13because you are never going to find one website that always has
- 25:16the best prices, right? But you want to be careful as
- 25:20well, right? There's there's a caveat to that
- 25:23because you want to make sure that whether you're buying
- 25:25American Silver Eagle or Australian Kangaroos are cuckoo
- 25:29burros like our friend coin shop Chris likes.
- 25:32I think if I remember correctly, he likes the kookaburro.
- 25:36Kookaburro. Yeah.
- 25:37Anyway, compare because one site might be better on 10 ounce
- 25:41bars, another one might be better on Kangaroos or
- 25:44kookaburros or whatever, right? You know what I'm saying?
- 25:47Get my drift? So that's why we have different
- 25:50spot prices. Hey Thomas, wow, what a cool
- 25:55gift. Super chat from Thomas Drelek.
- 25:57Ron, thank you for all the videos and live streams you and
- 26:00informative information you provide.
- 26:02The community Silver under 30 is a number brainer for silver
- 26:05purchases by gold, precious metals and direct from the
- 26:09Majestic. From First Majestic.
- 26:11Yeah, you know you can buy silver from First Majestic.
- 26:16Keith Newmeyer, right? He's the CEO, right.
- 26:19The Crown Prince of silver. You know Russ Beatty's the grand
- 26:23poo BA. But, but but Keith Newmeyer,
- 26:29Keith Newmeyer's The Grand Prince, First Majestic.
- 26:33They have their own store. You can buy silver directly.
- 26:36And Keith, let me talk about Keith Newmeyer for a second
- 26:38because I got a ton of respect for the guy.
- 26:41I know this company's been struggling.
- 26:43Thank you, Thomas. Thank you.
- 26:46But I will tell you Keith Newmeyer, he is on our side.
- 26:51He is totally a silver and gold guy.
- 26:55He's also the chairman of First Mining Gold, which is another
- 26:58reason why I love First Mining Gold and Dan Wilton, what he's
- 27:01doing over there. But but Keith Newmeyer is on our
- 27:05side guys. He's made public statements.
- 27:07Correct me if I'm wrong, Keith and I've talked with Keith one
- 27:10time and I'm going to talk with Keith again because he's cool
- 27:13and he's smart and he's driven and he believes in silver.
- 27:16He's even said like we need to like get some type of
- 27:19organization of silver miners, excuse me, to help to help
- 27:26control the price. I mean even the Chinese are
- 27:28saying that there was a couple Chinese state news reports where
- 27:32these silver guys are saying we need like an OPEC for silver.
- 27:37So I mean, look at what I just read you from ANZ Bank.
- 27:40Those of you who just joined me, go back and watch the replay of
- 27:43this, because ANZ Bank, Australia, New Zealand Bank,
- 27:46they pointed out unbelievable information about silver demand
- 27:50coming down the road. You know, I mean, so yeah, keep
- 27:56new Meyer triple digit silver one.
- 27:58Hey, we got 100 thumbs up. I'm gonna ring the bell 10
- 28:01times. That's one time for each thumb
- 28:03up. That's called ringflation
- 28:05123456789. This last one's for you, 10.
- 28:15All right, guys, what about the red shirt?
- 28:19Let me ask you real quick, does this red shirt bug you?
- 28:23I wear it every video. It's like who I am.
- 28:25It's part of me. There's someone who's very
- 28:27significant in my life, who I love dearly, who likes, is
- 28:32involved with the channel. And oftentimes she says, will
- 28:35you stop wearing that red shirt? Will you shake it up a little
- 28:38bit? I tell you what, let's do a
- 28:39quick poll, if you don't mind. Would really help.
- 28:42If you think I should keep the red shirt, type one.
- 28:45If you think I should dump it, take two, two.
- 28:49Type 2. Dump two.
- 28:50Keep the red shirt. One, I get A1.
- 28:54James is jealous of my red shirt 11 Red.
- 28:57No. Why do I know?
- 28:58Come on dude. One.
- 29:00I like the color 11. James Smith 10.
- 29:03Boy Now I appreciate. Susie's just trying to be
- 29:05helpful. I'm not mad at her.
- 29:07I'm saying I can be short tempered sometimes. 11111.
- 29:12How about a blue shirt? Yeah, every once in a while I'll
- 29:15wear a different shirt. Rick Rule says triple digit
- 29:17silver. Hey, Marsh Mans, we love Rick
- 29:21Rule. He's another guru.
- 29:22Rick Rule. And we got to remember.
- 29:25Thank you guys for voting. We got to remember here.
- 29:29Not wrong book. Darn it.
- 29:31Well anyway, this is a good book to 925 silver if you guys are
- 29:35ever interested. But anyway, Stuart Englert wrote
- 29:39a book about the manipulation of the silver price.
- 29:42This guy's smart and he's going to be back on my show.
- 29:45We love you, Stuart Englert. OK, he talking about the
- 29:49manipulation of silver. Excuse me.
- 29:51I'm sorry. When.
- 29:52I'm sorry about that. When is the silver market gonna
- 29:55break? And he laughed and he said, he
- 29:58said it's gonna break. He said.
- 30:00But we've been waiting for it for 15 years.
- 30:04Rick Rule has a great saying, right?
- 30:08Like I made-up Unicorn fart dust.
- 30:10I think. I'm pretty sure I made-up
- 30:12Unicorn fart dust. I may have heard it somewhere
- 30:14else. If you think you made it up, let
- 30:15me know. Nonetheless, Rick Rule has a
- 30:18great saying about what's going on in the in the silver market,
- 30:22the gold market, precious metals in general, he says.
- 30:26Don't confuse that which is, oh shoot, I'm forgetting what he
- 30:31says. Don't forget that which is
- 30:35imminent with where that which is.
- 30:38But basically what he says. Man, my my brain's not working.
- 30:41Don't confuse something that is bound to happen with the fact
- 30:47that it's going to happen right away right like you know it's
- 30:50going to happen. The conditions are in place.
- 30:52But don't think that just because that's the case that
- 30:55it's got to happen next week or it's got to happen next month.
- 30:57I know we've had to be patient guys those of us somebody if
- 31:01somebody has that saying please put it in the I feel like a big
- 31:04dum dum I need to write those things down before I get on
- 31:07here. But don't confuse that which is
- 31:09imminent with that which is something Rick Rule with all his
- 31:13wealth. Yes, that's true, Frank.
- 31:16That's true. Blue is the new red.
- 31:18Hey, Neil. Oh, come on.
- 31:22Somebody come up with that. Rick.
- 31:23Rick rules. Oh, I didn't know that, Neil.
- 31:27That's interesting. Rick Rule is ignorant.
- 31:30I've been getting a lot of questions about platinum.
- 31:32A lot of interest in platinum. Guys, let me ask you, let's do
- 31:36this. Let's do this.
- 31:39Do you own Platinum? If you do, yes, type one.
- 31:45If you don't know type 2, do you own Platinum Coin Shop?
- 31:50Chris, am I forgetting anything? We talked about the scams,
- 31:54right. Coin shop Chris and I are going
- 31:56to be making a video later today.
- 31:58So no. Is 2.
- 32:00Right? No, no, no.
- 32:02Philip Martinez? No, no.
- 32:04Joe Fulland? No, no, no.
- 32:05Doug Flinch. So a lot of news about seems
- 32:08like maybe 40%, Ebert Beeman says.
- 32:15Ron, you're not a dumb, dumb. Michelle Obama has his moments
- 32:18too. Can somebody please, please tell
- 32:23me what that Rick Roll saying is?
- 32:24Don't confuse that which is inevitable.
- 32:28Oh, that's it. Don't confuse that which is
- 32:32inevitable with that which is eminent.
- 32:35Thank God the old brain still is working.
- 32:38I'm 53 years old. You know, I have a hard enough
- 32:42time putting on lace on shoes, more or less remembering things.
- 32:45Oh yes. Oh shoot.
- 32:47What was her name? I had got a great super chat
- 32:50yesterday from and it was in DKK, which I think is Danish
- 32:54kroners. Oh man, I had it written down.
- 32:57Hold on a second. And I forgot to say thank you.
- 32:59Here it is. And I put a community post.
- 33:02Kirsten Iverson, 169 DKK's, which was very generous.
- 33:08Kirsten, thank you. You're probably sleeping right
- 33:11now, but if you're watching this later, thank you.
- 33:13Thank you. Coin chop, Chris.
- 33:14For reminding that Frank de Silvio, 53 years young.
- 33:18Philip Martinez. I'm a young whippersnapper.
- 33:21You got that right. Oh, I got big news, right?
- 33:25Huh. Huh.
- 33:26I'll give you 2 more rings since we're at 1:25.
- 33:30I maybe I'll give you one more when we get to 130, but we got a
- 33:33great guy here in St. Louis.
- 33:36I'm going to call him Cowbell Joe.
- 33:38He's a regular watcher of the channel.
- 33:41He actually works sometime. I have a big water plant by my
- 33:44house. It's fascinating.
- 33:45It was built like in the 20s. It's massive.
- 33:48It's down by the river. I live right by the Missouri
- 33:50River, by the way, where everybody went West on the
- 33:52riverboats. Anyway, there's a big water
- 33:54plant. He works there.
- 33:56He got a cowbell for me. So the new deal is going to be
- 33:59when we get to 200 thumbs up during the live streams we're
- 34:02done ringing this little bell That was my fatherinlaw's.
- 34:05God rest his soul he was a wonderful wonderful man and
- 34:09we're going to ring the cowbell that's the that's the big big
- 34:13big big big deal. So this bricks what do you guys
- 34:18think massive massive bricks meeting coming up in August.
- 34:24All we're hearing is gold backed currency.
- 34:28We got reports from Russia, the the Russia media, Russia Times
- 34:33saying that they're announcing basically this new currency will
- 34:38be gold back. Now I read a report, I don't
- 34:41want to be. We got to look at both sides of
- 34:43the coin. I read a report that said that
- 34:45might not be like immediately good for gold and silver.
- 34:49What do you think? What do you think about this new
- 34:51bricks gold backed currency? I've got something interesting I
- 34:56want to talk about in regards to it that I don't think anybody
- 35:00talks about. It's it's a it's and it's good
- 35:04for the precious metals, but nobody talks about this.
- 35:07And it's not that complicated. But to me it makes sense.
- 35:14What do you think about bricks? Tired of the bricks?
- 35:16Yeah. Well, it's the big story, right?
- 35:19It's coming up here in six weeks.
- 35:22But yes, I agree it is. The dollar is dead.
- 35:25The dollar is dead. Hello gold, silver, Good to see
- 35:28you. Hello Steven.
- 35:29A lot of crappier currencies getting together.
- 35:31That's a good point Steven. Good point.
- 35:34Jerome Powell says overtime Ron Bricks controls most of the
- 35:39platinum mines. Neil that he got, the platinum
- 35:42guru says and have used platinum as money.
- 35:45Good point. And the platinum eagle is it
- 35:48called. Neil, interestingly has a $100
- 35:52face value. Jeff, I'm new to silver
- 35:54stacking, been at it for three months with my 16 year old son
- 35:57and a local coin shop yesterday and was talked to like an idiot
- 36:01for stacking silver in front of my son.
- 36:03I don't know, I'd go to a different coin shop, Jeff,
- 36:06because most of them are very, very positive on silver.
- 36:10Maybe they didn't have a lot of silver to sell you, right.
- 36:14But to think that a local coin shop would talk negatively about
- 36:18silver, How dare they? You know, maybe, like I said,
- 36:24maybe they don't have a lot of, they didn't have a lot of
- 36:26silver. So they were trying to get you
- 36:28to buy platinum or gold or something like that, which is
- 36:31not bad. But I don't know.
- 36:32That's very interesting. They found a way around Swift.
- 36:37Yeah, the Swift guys. The Swift system is the
- 36:41interbank system used by the West, dominated by the United
- 36:44States. And now they're developing their
- 36:46own systems. Iran has a system that they're
- 36:49backing that a lot of the Eastern and the BRICS countries
- 36:52are using. Russia was kicked out of SWIFT.
- 36:54They're they're surviving without us.
- 36:57Right. With the bricks.
- 36:59The bricks will cut the head off.
- 37:00The snake. Yeah.
- 37:02Hey, Andrew just got his first platinum congratulation, never
- 37:06returned to that local coin shop, Lane says.
- 37:08Yeah, I would kind of feel that way as well, Thomas.
- 37:11I believe it when it happens, yeah.
- 37:13There's people that are saying it's not going to be this big
- 37:16immediate windfall for the gold and silver price.
- 37:20I can see that argument, right. I would say at minimum, right,
- 37:24the worst case scenario, it's going to be very supportive for
- 37:28the gold price and silver price unless unless some powerful
- 37:32countries that don't like silver and gold try even further to
- 37:38manipulate the price down. But here's here's what I want to
- 37:41talk to you about. Here's what I think is super
- 37:44interesting on a big picture. Let's zoom out, let's open our
- 37:48minds and let's think about the gold standard In the silver
- 37:52standard, right the world over the over the millennia has been
- 37:56on the gold, silver and silver and gold of gold and silver
- 37:58standard. Easy for me to say it has.
- 38:01We know that it's the base of all real money, gold and silver
- 38:05at the bottom of John Extra's pyramid.
- 38:07John Extra was a United States Federal Reserve governor.
- 38:11He didn't die that long. Go.
- 38:13He wrote extensively about how gold and silver are the base of
- 38:16everything. Zoom out, make believe you're on
- 38:19a satellite, or you're on that Richard Branson space plane.
- 38:23Whatever. You're orbiting Earth, you can
- 38:25see Earth altogether. Guys, when you look at Earth,
- 38:28all right, are you looking at Earth?
- 38:31Can you visualize? There's only there's a finite
- 38:34there's a limited amount of gold and silver on the planet.
- 38:37We've already covered why silver and gold are the ideal forms of
- 38:41money and currency. There's only so much of that on
- 38:44the planet. There's an unlimited amount of
- 38:47paper and electronic money. You can make more bitcoins, you
- 38:50can do whatever you know. You can grow trees into
- 38:54Infinity. Now they don't even need paper,
- 38:56they just make it electronically.
- 38:58There's a limited amount of gold and silver.
- 39:01Here's where it gets interesting with this bricks development.
- 39:04If these bricks countries are successful in in making gaining
- 39:09traction with this gold backed currency in the world.
- 39:13I mean like we know it's a it's the biggest percentage of the
- 39:17world's economy. It's by far population wise and
- 39:21they're growing economies and their middle classes are growing
- 39:24the exact opposite of what's going on in the United States
- 39:27right. It's so if they start to gain
- 39:30traction with this in the world starts to use gold, the United
- 39:35States de facto could be kind of forced into a if we want to
- 39:40trade with them, they're trading in gold back currency, we're
- 39:44going to be kind of forced into a precious metals backed
- 39:47currency environment. Does that make sense?
- 39:50Right. I mean to me that makes sense.
- 39:52I know it's a little heady, but if everybody else is saying,
- 39:55hey, this is what is value and then, you know, the 40% of the
- 40:00world economy says, Oh no, no, no, no, no paper money and.
- 40:05Built, built on confidence in these fine politicians we have
- 40:10in Washington. That's what's valuable.
- 40:13Paper money. Electronic money.
- 40:16CBDC is valuable. Make believe.
- 40:21What do we like to call it, guys?
- 40:23We like to call it Unicorn fart dust because gold and silver are
- 40:27the only forms of real money. Really, Really think about it.
- 40:30Remember, you're out in outer space looking down at Earth,
- 40:34right? There's only so much gold and
- 40:35silver. All that other stuff, it that
- 40:38you can't even see it. It doesn't really see a bunch of
- 40:40trees, you know, they're everywhere.
- 40:42See a bunch of water, right? You might as well make water
- 40:45money, right? No.
- 40:47There's only so much gold and silver.
- 40:48Everything else, indeed, is just Unicorn fart dust.
- 40:54I won't say it again on this live stream, my friends.
- 40:56I will not say it again. Gold going to $20,000 per oz.
- 41:02Marsh Man's, you are on A roll. I appreciate you putting things
- 41:05in all caps That way. I know you got something that
- 41:07you want me to talk about. Thompson Coin and stamp
- 41:10collecting. Hello, Thompson.
- 41:13Nice to meet you, my friend. Welcome to Ron's basement.
- 41:16We are like the summer camp. Your mommy and daddy just sent
- 41:20you off The summer camp, right? Hey, we're all kids at heart.
- 41:23We're like the summer camp for Silver and Gold investors, or
- 41:26the Mr. Rogers neighborhood, whichever you prefer.
- 41:29But it's summer. So we went off to summer camp.
- 41:31We're all sitting around the fire.
- 41:32What do we want to talk about? We want to talk about silver and
- 41:35gold. Coin shop.
- 41:37Chris, you're still here. Good to see you, my friend.
- 41:41As always, Coin shop, Chris. Hello, Neil.
- 41:44In March 2008, Platinum was 2270.
- 41:48Wow. Gold was 1000.
- 41:51Now it's inverse, right? Platinum's what, 9 something?
- 41:54950 and gold is twice as high. Very interesting.
- 42:00I'd say that I'm going to go buy a platinum coin, but I've said
- 42:03that in the past and you know what?
- 42:04I need to be a man of my word. I'm not going to spray paint my
- 42:08hair red again anytime soon. Kind of like fried my hair.
- 42:13Here I sit and camp in Ron's basement.
- 42:15Original intent. You got that right.
- 42:16Gold back is here as well, but it's a collectible.
- 42:19No one uses it. Interesting, very interesting.
- 42:24Any thoughts of when premiums go down, I'll, I'll let coin shop,
- 42:30Chris chime in on that. But premiums on silver, I don't
- 42:34see him going down. I don't not back to where they
- 42:37were, not back to you know four years ago, five years ago.
- 42:41I think the big picture for silver and gold, the premiums
- 42:46aren't quite as high on a percentage basis on gold, but
- 42:49the the premiums to me aren't going anywhere.
- 42:54You know, they might drop a little bit, but I think we're
- 42:56now in a permanent environment. And what is the real price of
- 42:59silver, right? What is the real price of
- 43:02silver? It's the spot price is $23,
- 43:05right? But what's the real price of
- 43:08silver? What does it really cost you?
- 43:09I think if you're lucky, you might get a 10 ounce bar at 25
- 43:14bucks an ounce right Now beware breakable silver for barter.
- 43:21Yeah, that's one of the key attributes of silver.
- 43:24You can divide it, right? If I needed to, I can cut this
- 43:28in the smaller pieces. I hope I never have to do that,
- 43:31but if I have to, I will, right. You know, here's a beautiful one
- 43:35ounce bar. We can, we can chop these things
- 43:37up. I could cut that into four
- 43:39pieces and have quarter ounce of silver, right?
- 43:42Go buy a, go buy a couple days worth of food if I had to,
- 43:46right. I mean, if we had to.
- 43:48I'm not saying. I think we're going to get to
- 43:49that point and and and I don't think we have to get to that
- 43:52point, guys, for us to realize the true value that we have in
- 43:58silver and gold and platinum for our friend Neil.
- 44:02We can't forget about platinum. Melt it, Don't cut it.
- 44:05Yeah, you know what? That'll be one of my goals
- 44:09before the end of the year. I'm going to do that for you
- 44:12guys. I'm going to learn how to melt
- 44:13silver. There I go, opening my big mouth
- 44:16like when I said I'd paint my head red if Golden gets 2200.
- 44:19But I'm going to learn how to melt silver down.
- 44:21What the heck, I'll bring you on that little journey with me if
- 44:24you're interested. It should be interesting.
- 44:28No, James, I've never played a game of ping pong for an ounce
- 44:31of silver. No, when I was younger and I
- 44:35drank a lot, I had this neighbor named Butch, and Butch was good
- 44:39at everything. Horseshoes.
- 44:41Ping pong. He was just one of those guys.
- 44:44He was good at everything. He worked at a Cadillac
- 44:46dealership. He was cool and I used I
- 44:48honestly, I used to really party a lot anyway.
- 44:50I played Butch one night when I had drank a little too much.
- 44:54I was probably in my mid 20s and I owned my house and I bet him
- 44:57my house and he won and he's and it was just a joke.
- 45:03Better be careful what I'm saying here.
- 45:04I'm going to get a letter from a lawyer.
- 45:05It was just a joke. But he always joked around with
- 45:08me afterwards, saying you still owe me that house.
- 45:10You know, Daniel's going to get his own furnace and mount.
- 45:15Has anyone here ever melted, melted down silver?
- 45:19If you have, say yes. I'd be curious if you ever in
- 45:23what temperature? I've looked it up before.
- 45:26I think it's 1700 degrees. Yeah, Blaine, I know I learned
- 45:31my lesson. I never bet against Butch again.
- 45:34Blow dog. Yes, Ron's Bay.
- 45:40Man, you guys. Never.
- 45:41You never seemed to cease to amaze me.
- 45:43I must have never seemed to amaze me.
- 45:45You usually never seem to amaze me but never cease to amaze me.
- 45:49Joe Fowler. This is funny, guys.
- 45:51He said if I meltdown silver, then I could be Ron's base meant
- 45:57MINT. Ron's base meant, Man, that's my
- 46:00new business. Ron's base meant probably blow
- 46:03myself up. Hello, Daniel.
- 46:06Yes, Thomas Toobs has. All right.
- 46:09Yes, I'll pay. I'll pay you for an ounce of
- 46:11silver. I don't think there's a lot of
- 46:13profit in it selling silver, but y'all keep that in mind.
- 46:17Dean Brown Dog. Mark Carroll.
- 46:20Haha. Party in 2023 because silver's
- 46:24going to $999 per oz. Do you think that's possible?
- 46:30You know, I get a lot of heat. Oh, I got to talk about this
- 46:32too. I got two and this is this is
- 46:34this is great. I get a lot of heat, right?
- 46:37If I if I make a thumbnail for a video, that's that little thing
- 46:40you see before you click on it and I say $60.00 an ounce,
- 46:43$70.00 an ounce. Sometimes I'll say $50.00 an
- 46:47ounce, sometimes I'll say $14.00 an ounce.
- 46:49Look guys, anything's possible, right?
- 46:52We could get $16.00 over. Yes, we know it could happen
- 46:56$160 over in the next 12 months. I think both of those are.
- 47:01I'm not predicting either will happen, but definitely within
- 47:05the realm of possibilities. I mean really at some point
- 47:11silver, when the dollar with all the screwed up, You know how
- 47:15screwed up America's finances are, right?
- 47:18And if history's any indicator right, all Fiat currencies fail.
- 47:23Well, what happens when the US dollar fails?
- 47:25What happened in Venezuela when their currency failed?
- 47:28What happened on the Wein Mar Republic?
- 47:29What happened in a host of African countries when their
- 47:33currency failed? I'll tell you what happens,
- 47:35right? Gold and silver.
- 47:37Ask people in Turkey right now. Right, right, they're having
- 47:42hyperinflation or they had some periods ask people in Nigeria,
- 47:45Zimbabwe. Go and the currency gold goes.
- 47:49I mean, sure, you know what? I could make a thumbnail that
- 47:52says $60 million silver, because at some point, look, I'm an
- 47:59American. I'm full blooded.
- 48:01I don't love what's going on in our country.
- 48:03I don't agree with 100%, but I I still love my country, right?
- 48:07Or like it a lot. Anyway.
- 48:09There's parts I don't like but at some point, right?
- 48:12And I so I it wouldn't be good news for me.
- 48:15The dollar will become either worthless or worth less, and we
- 48:20could see these astronomically high silver prices, platinum
- 48:24prices, gold prices right through the roof, numbers that
- 48:27we can't even imagine. That would be when we might be
- 48:31cutting this up. Okay this cool little silver
- 48:36bar. Look at the back of it.
- 48:38I think it says the coin shop corner.
- 48:40My friend in California sent me that into 10 pieces so I can go
- 48:45buy some food or some fuel to run my, you know, whatever,
- 48:48right? Final thing we got to talk
- 48:51about. I had some really, really nasty
- 48:54comments. Okay.
- 48:56Look, you guys are always awesome, but there's always a
- 49:00couple people. And I had one guy, maybe it was
- 49:02even an e-mail from Cleveland and he said you got to stop
- 49:08promising people they're going to get rich on silver.
- 49:11You're you're misleading people. You're leading them down the
- 49:14primrose path, telling them they're going to get rich.
- 49:17Look, I don't have a crystal ball.
- 49:19I'm not giving financial advice. What I'm sharing with you is
- 49:22what I believe. Right?
- 49:24And I've never said, hey, buy silver, you're going to get
- 49:27rich. No.
- 49:29Or have I? Right.
- 49:31I will argue that silver's undervalued right now.
- 49:34I will argue that because I believe it and I put my money
- 49:38where my mouth is. I think gold's undervalued,
- 49:41right? I eat my own cooking.
- 49:43OK, but I'm not promising you that you're going to get
- 49:46magnificently wealthy. Is there a chance that could
- 49:49happen depending on how much silver you have?
- 49:52Absolutely. There's a chance, right?
- 49:54I'm not saying it's going to happen, but there's certainly a
- 49:57chance. I think at minimum.
- 49:58Whoa, no, I kicked you. Sorry.
- 50:02Oh, sorry. Hopefully you don't get motion
- 50:05sickness from that. I, I, I, you know, at minimum,
- 50:09silver and gold are going to maintain their value.
- 50:12They're going to help you maintain your wealth.
- 50:14I think on the upside, yes, we could see a situation where the
- 50:19relative value of silver and gold become to a point where
- 50:24you're like, wow, I can buy a house, a nice house for 1000
- 50:30ounces of silver. I got to talk about houses as
- 50:33well. I think there's a real estate
- 50:35bubble. Okay.
- 50:36I live in Saint Louis. I live in a middle, upper middle
- 50:38class neighborhood. I'm not rich.
- 50:41Right. This is my basement.
- 50:43Okay, There's two stories above it.
- 50:45I'm not in a mansion, but I'm very grateful for what I have.
- 50:48There's a house in my neighborhood that was really run
- 50:50down, a twostory house like mine.
- 50:53Okay, a Flipper bought it to flip it, fix it up, whatever.
- 51:02And it looks like they did a real good job while I was at the
- 51:04neighborhood swimming pool talking to one of my friends
- 51:06that I like last night and he said, Oh my God, there's a
- 51:10realtor in our neighborhood that all of us know.
- 51:12He's a nice guy. He'd put a post on Facebook that
- 51:15the house sold for an amount that blows my mind.
- 51:20OK, $670,000. Now those of you that live on
- 51:24the East Coast or the West Coast or parts of wherever Florida,
- 51:29but guys that's like several, that's a lot more.
- 51:33I can't believe somebody's paying that for that house.
- 51:36I'm sorry, it it's great if it goes through.
- 51:39I feel sorry for them, especially if they're taking out
- 51:42a loan because woof, that might have just rung the bell for the
- 51:48top of the real estate market. I was just absolutely shocked.
- 51:52What do you see where you live? Do you see skyrocketing real
- 51:56estate prices still? Does that make sense?
- 51:59We've got mortgage rates twice as high, right?
- 52:03None of it makes sense. I know nobody's moving now
- 52:06because most people are trapped, right?
- 52:08They, they, they're. If you have a mortgage and you
- 52:11got into it over the last 10 years, you probably have a 3%
- 52:14interest rate. So you're trapped because if you
- 52:16go to move, your new mortgage will have a 7% interest rate,
- 52:21which means for the same amount of money that you're going to
- 52:24borrow, you're going to pay twice as much.
- 52:27Same thing with car loans. But what is going on in the real
- 52:30estate market? The only thing I can think of is
- 52:33so few people are moving. There's still such small supply.
- 52:37I really feel sorry for the people that are buying right
- 52:41now. I could be wrong.
- 52:43Look, I'll give you a great example.
- 52:44When I was wrong, when the pandemic hit, I had a young man
- 52:47come to me and said I was thinking about buying a house,
- 52:49blah, blah, blah. And he wasn't really ready
- 52:51anyway. And I said, look, man, I would
- 52:53wait and see what happens with what's going on right now.
- 52:56And we all know what happened. So maybe this real estate, maybe
- 52:59it just keeps going to the moon. What do you see?
- 53:02North Shore Boston House is selling for way more than
- 53:05they're worth, but sales are down.
- 53:07Yeah, Frank, that's what it seems like around here.
- 53:10No mortgage, no debt. Yeah, I have no mortgage, no
- 53:14debt, right. And I can take risk, right?
- 53:17That's just me. No debt.
- 53:19Debt is bad guys. Debt is bad.
- 53:22If you got a 3% mortgage on a house, I would never think I'd
- 53:25be saying this, but that might be Okay.
- 53:30That's pretty good rate in, in this environment.
- 53:32They have borrowed money. I'll move to Texas in 10 years.
- 53:37Sold modest Utah home last year for 400 in 35,000.
- 53:43Bought a newer and otherwise comparable home in Jefferson
- 53:46City which is the capital of Missouri for the low two
- 53:50hundreds. Yeah, you know that's the way to
- 53:53do it. If you're living in an area
- 53:55where you have sky high real estate prices and you want to
- 53:59move, I'd do it right now. That's just the don't.
- 54:02I'm not giving advice. I'm just telling you what I
- 54:04would do if I lived in an area, Boston, San Francisco or
- 54:09wherever where there's sky high real estate prices right now and
- 54:14you want to move somewhere and it's a it's a place that is come
- 54:17like you can get the same size house for half the price, cash
- 54:20it out, baby. I mean imagine if you had some
- 54:22little shack in San Francisco that was worth $900,000
- 54:28supposedly, right. You could come to St.
- 54:30Louis. Let's say you're from St.
- 54:32Louis. You know, and I apologize if you
- 54:34have to come to St. Louis, although it's not so bad
- 54:37here. It's a nice place.
- 54:38But you had to come to St. Louis.
- 54:40You could take that 900,000 and buy a better house.
- 54:44I guarantee you a way better house for four or 500,000 and
- 54:49you'd have 400 grand that you could buy silver and gold with.
- 54:52Wouldn't that be nice? But as we talked about earlier,
- 54:55you'd have a hard time getting an insurance policy if you're
- 54:59going to keep it all at your house.
- 55:04What about cars? You know, I'm hearing from my
- 55:07contacts in the car business, the auto market boop dropping,
- 55:12right? Same thing.
- 55:14Yeah, I'm getting calls. We were looking for a minivan a
- 55:16while back and I'm getting calls from these dealerships that were
- 55:20like, sorry, we don't have anything.
- 55:21It's going to be a six month waiting list, blah, blah, blah.
- 55:24Like, oh, we had somebody cancel.
- 55:26Are you still interested in the Kia Carnival minivan?
- 55:29I'm like no, not yet. I'm waiting.
- 55:32I'll wait. Thank you very much.
- 55:34I'd rather have silver. How about you?
- 55:38Would you rather have silver or would you rather have a new
- 55:41minivan? Let me know.
- 55:45Jonathan Kirchner bought 50K of gold and silver with part of the
- 55:50sale of his home. Very cool Silver Chair stacker.
- 55:54I think any house over 250K is stupid to buy.
- 55:58It's a box made of wooden stone. Yeah, and for those of us in the
- 56:01United States, generally, our construction here is like
- 56:04crappy, considered can compared to like Europe and other places
- 56:09in the world. Probably better than a lot of
- 56:11places. But compared to Europe, from
- 56:12what I understand in particular, our houses are kind of built not
- 56:15to last, not as long. Lemonade is expensive in St.
- 56:19Louis. Yes, we own a house and land in
- 56:21Texas and it's tripled in value. Congratulations.
- 56:26Wow, that is awesome. That's Shannon Boyd, our friend
- 56:30Shannon Boyd. Dan, Dan, BA, BA, BA.
- 56:33Remote control and surveillance devices.
- 56:36Ignition kill switches. That's interesting.
- 56:38Marsh, Mass Dean are Neil's living in a van down by the
- 56:43river. No, he's not.
- 56:44I've joined. I've joined Neil on live
- 56:48streams. He's got a nice place and Neil's
- 56:50a nice guy. So it's coin shop.
- 56:52Chris, Man, 350 people. I just looked.
- 56:55Can we get the 200? This will be a warm up.
- 56:58Remember, I'm getting a new cowbell from our good friend
- 57:00Joe. Right?
- 57:02Can we get the 200 thumbs up? It would be great if we could,
- 57:05guys. It would be great.
- 57:09Oh, Dean. Dad.
- 57:09Dean. We knew you were just joking.
- 57:11Jay Powell. Fart dust, 15 more silver.
- 57:14New minivans depreciate. Yeah, no joke.
- 57:17They cars depreciate. We only need eight more thumbs
- 57:20up. Come on, you can do it.
- 57:22You can find that little thumb and click on it, my friends.
- 57:25All right. Hollow point.
- 57:27Yeah. Oh, brother.
- 57:31The hits keep coming. You know, let me, let me.
- 57:37Let me talk about this. Right.
- 57:39We got 200-1234, 567-8910, eleven, 12/19/20.
- 57:47Thank you, guys. Let's talk about this.
- 57:49About silver that I hadn't thought about came from the book
- 57:54I'm reading. I've showed you guys a couple
- 57:55times the great silver Bowl. Silver is durable.
- 58:00There's like things about. There's two things I've I hadn't
- 58:03thought of in the last month or so.
- 58:05Maybe you already knew these, but maybe not.
- 58:07And if you didn't, maybe it'll add a little more to your silver
- 58:11and gold arsenal. OK, #1 silver is durable.
- 58:15It doesn't go bad, right? And we kind of know that, but we
- 58:18don't really appreciate that. Like as they were talking about,
- 58:21oh, the new bricks currency could be back by wheat, barley
- 58:24and soybeans and oil and blah, blah, blah.
- 58:28Well, you know, I mean, I guess oil can be stored, but but
- 58:32eventually, especially like wheat and stuff like that, it's
- 58:35consumed, it goes bad. Our silver, our gold, it lasts.
- 58:39It's durable. Totally durable.
- 58:41Again, we're on that satellite looking down at earth.
- 58:45There's only so much silver and gold.
- 58:48Hey, thank you for joining me, guys.
- 58:49You are the best. I appreciate the Super chats.
- 58:52I appreciate you. OK.
- 58:55Have a good weekend and I'll see you soon.
