- 0:00Speaker 1: Well, here we are after week two and tons of
- 0:04Speaker 1: injuries to star players, and most of them are on
- 0:09Speaker 1: Thor's team. So we got to get into all this
- 0:12Speaker 1: in this week's episode of Fantasy Freaking Football.
- 0:15Speaker 2: The one that.
- 0:16Speaker 1: Hurts the most.
- 0:19Speaker 3: Did every guy on your bench go off? Did you
- 0:23Speaker 3: decide to set your top scorer because you had a hunch?
- 0:27Speaker 3: Did your drafting a kicker in the first round strategy
- 0:31Speaker 3: not pay off? Then this is the show for you.
- 0:35Speaker 3: Now here to help you set your lineups every week,
- 0:39Speaker 3: it's Eddie and Thor with Fantasy Frickin' Football.
- 0:44Speaker 1: Dude, two years in a row, you have been hit
- 0:48Speaker 1: by the injury bug. It sucks. Last year was kind
- 0:51Speaker 1: of unprecedented. I'd never seen anything like it. It was
- 0:53Speaker 1: like your top six guys all went out with season-ending injuries.
- 0:57Speaker 1: It was pretty brutal. But this year, you've already been
- 1:00Speaker 1: hit with a ton of injuries.
- 1:01Speaker 2: Yeah, it sucks. So I lost Dart for the year,
- 1:05Speaker 2: and I had him in two leagues.
- 1:06Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:07Speaker 2: That sucks.
- 1:07Speaker 1: That's rough.
- 1:08Speaker 2: So that sucks. And then Saquon Barkley's hurt. Zay Flowers
- 1:12Speaker 2: is hurt. and then are those guys all on the
- 1:15Speaker 2: same team yeah and then I also Rico Davido who's
- 1:19Speaker 2: my backup on my bench he's hurt yeah so it
- 1:22Speaker 2: just sucks like so I had to I'm trying to
- 1:25Speaker 2: make moves and, like, it's just really frustrating.
- 1:28Speaker 1: Now, we do have some questions coming up in the
- 1:31Speaker 1: quarterback spot because, obviously, a lot of quarterbacks went down.
- 1:34Speaker 1: You had Jaden Daniels going down. You have Caleb Williams
- 1:37Speaker 1: going down. Obviously, Jackson Dart. Who's out there available that
- 1:41Speaker 1: you like since you're in this spot?
- 1:42Speaker 2: So I had Kyler Murray in one of my leagues
- 1:44Speaker 2: that I had Dart, and I picked– and I kept him.
- 1:47Speaker 2: I rode with him because Rasheed White was still available. And, listen,
- 1:50Speaker 2: Rasheed White's not, you know, Jameer Gibbs– But he got
- 1:55Speaker 2: more touches than Merritt last week, so they may like
- 1:58Speaker 2: him more, and he's a good bench guy. So I
- 2:00Speaker 2: stuck with Kyler. What does Rasheed White have to do
- 2:03Speaker 2: with it?
- 2:04Speaker 1: Oh, sorry.
- 2:05Speaker 2: I should have explained that. I'm sorry. I had Rasheed
- 2:07Speaker 2: White on my lineup. I was going to go get
- 2:11Speaker 2: another quarterback on the waiver wire, but I stuck with Kyler.
- 2:14Speaker 3: Oh.
- 2:14Speaker 2: Because I knew if I put in a waiver claim,
- 2:18Speaker 2: I was either one or the other. So my point
- 2:21Speaker 2: was I was sticking with Kyler. Sorry, that's my point.
- 2:24Speaker 1: Oh.
- 2:24Speaker 2: And then at quarterback on the waiver wire, Bryce Young
- 2:27Speaker 2: is out there. He's had two really good games. Do
- 2:30Speaker 2: I think that's going to continue? He's played two pretty
- 2:35Speaker 2: terrible defenses. It looks like he's turned a little bit
- 2:37Speaker 2: of a corner. Yeah. But do I think he, like
- 2:40Speaker 2: right now, Bryce Young and Tyler Shuck lead the league
- 2:42Speaker 2: in passing. Is that going to continue? I doubt it.
- 2:45Speaker 2: But he is playing the Browns this week. They stink.
- 2:49Speaker 3: They stink.
- 2:49Speaker 2: So, I mean, that could be a guy you could
- 2:51Speaker 2: pick up.
- 2:52Speaker 1: Absolutely.
- 2:52Speaker 2: Matt Stafford, you could pick up. I would stay away
- 2:56Speaker 2: from the Daniel Joneses of the world.
- 2:58Speaker 1: What?
- 2:59Speaker 2: The thing about Daniel Jones is, just fantasy-wise.
- 3:03Speaker 1: And he lost Alec Pierce, too.
- 3:04Speaker 2: He lost Alec Pierce, but also just fantasy-wise, he'd be
- 3:07Speaker 2: able to get you those running yards. He looks slow.
- 3:10Speaker 2: He looks like he's not the same guy, running-wise, coming
- 3:14Speaker 2: off the Achilles injury. So I'd stay away from him.
- 3:17Speaker 2: I'd stay away from Aaron Rodgers.
- 3:18Speaker 1: I mean... Dude, Aaron Rodgers.
- 3:20Speaker 2: He's awful. Why did he come back?
- 3:22Speaker 1: I have no idea. Yeah. And, you know, DK Metcalf
- 3:25Speaker 1: isn't helping him out much.
- 3:26Speaker 3: No.
- 3:27Speaker 1: I have DK in one league, and seeing him drop
- 3:29Speaker 1: passes left and right, I'm like, dude, what is going on?
- 3:32Speaker 1: The Steelers just look... Yeah. You know, if you have
- 3:34Speaker 1: most Steelers at this point, I don't know that I'm playing.
- 3:37Speaker 2: Yeah, it's crazy how bad they are.
- 3:39Speaker 1: Yeah, it's very strange. I mean, offensively, you kind of thought...
- 3:42Speaker 1: With Mike McCarthy and Aaron Rodgers getting back together, oh,
- 3:45Speaker 1: maybe there's something there. No, there isn't. Aaron Rodgers looks
- 3:48Speaker 1: like he's 100. They're not catching passes. They're not running
- 3:51Speaker 1: the football. I don't know what they are.
- 3:53Speaker 2: It's just terrible. It's just terrible. And I have Metcalf
- 3:56Speaker 2: in one of my leagues, like you said, and he stinks.
- 3:59Speaker 1: Yeah, he's not good. He stinks. Yeah, so it's been
- 4:03Speaker 1: an odd first couple of weeks. Week one, it was
- 4:07Speaker 1: all about the offense. Week two, it was kind of
- 4:09Speaker 1: all about the defense. And now you're having these injuries
- 4:12Speaker 1: pop up and things like that. So it's just not great.
- 4:15Speaker 1: It makes fantasy a little bit trickier. That being said,
- 4:20Speaker 1: I went two for three this week in fantasy. And
- 4:23Speaker 1: so one and two of my important leagues and then
- 4:27Speaker 1: my OG league, just none of my guys showed up.
- 4:30Speaker 1: Caleb went down and didn't have, didn't do anything for me.
- 4:33Speaker 1: You know, with him going down and them not, you know,
- 4:37Speaker 1: this high-powered Bears offense scoring three points, it killed me.
- 4:40Speaker 2: Even when he played, they couldn't score in the game.
- 4:42Speaker 3: No, yeah.
- 4:42Speaker 1: I mean, he went down late in the fourth. So
- 4:44Speaker 1: it wasn't like, you know, that was the reason. And so, yeah,
- 4:48Speaker 1: that was a little bit tough. And then just my
- 4:50Speaker 1: guys just didn't have great weeks. So it'll happen. But
- 4:54Speaker 1: I was happy to get two wins out of that.
- 4:55Speaker 1: So not terrible week. But hopefully we figure it out
- 4:58Speaker 1: this week and hopefully, you know, the leagues I'm winning
- 5:02Speaker 1: in are the leagues that I got Josh Allen. And
- 5:05Speaker 1: so do I, I can't count on Josh Allen to
- 5:08Speaker 1: put up 40 points every single week, but that's why
- 5:11Speaker 1: I drafted him so high. Because I kind of had
- 5:14Speaker 1: a feeling he was going to have this kind of
- 5:15Speaker 1: a season. And so I was like, listen, man, if
- 5:19Speaker 1: I can stack some wins with Josh as red hot
- 5:21Speaker 1: as he is, I'm going to hopefully do that. It
- 5:23Speaker 1: was amazing after the Thursday game, In one league, I
- 5:28Speaker 1: have Josh Allen and Amon Ra. And so I literally
- 5:32Speaker 1: had a 65-point lead after two guys in one game.
- 5:35Speaker 1: And so that was a great start.
- 5:37Speaker 2: That's crazy.
- 5:37Speaker 1: That was a great start. And I ended up winning
- 5:39Speaker 1: by like 50 points. So that was nice. That was nice.
- 5:41Speaker 1: But on the other hand, you don't like Thursday games
- 5:44Speaker 1: because you could be done after a Thursday game.
- 5:47Speaker 2: Which is what happened to me. I had DJ Moore
- 5:48Speaker 2: in one league and he got zero points. I've had
- 5:51Speaker 2: three guys in two weeks get hurt in the middle
- 5:53Speaker 2: of the game. And two of them got One guy
- 5:56Speaker 2: was Zay Flowers, who got 30, which was great.
- 5:59Speaker 1: But he was on pace for a monster game.
- 6:01Speaker 2: Yeah, but then he didn't play in week two. So
- 6:03Speaker 2: that screws me. And then Saquon has 12 points through
- 6:07Speaker 2: two games. He just looks terrible. I'm very disappointed. I thought,
- 6:11Speaker 2: for me, it was between him and Derek Henry. And
- 6:14Speaker 2: I was like, I think Saquon's going to bounce back.
- 6:18Speaker 2: It's still early. He's playing the Bears. He's playing the
- 6:20Speaker 2: Bears this weekend. Hopefully he plays. He's got a stinger.
- 6:23Speaker 1: Hopefully he plays.
- 6:24Speaker 2: The Bears defense is terrible.
- 6:24Speaker 1: But Derrick Henry's been great. Derrick Henry's been great. So
- 6:27Speaker 1: that stinks even more.
- 6:28Speaker 2: Yeah, it stinks.
- 6:29Speaker 1: Ouch. Well, if you got a situation, you got questions,
- 6:32Speaker 1: who to start, who to sit, you can ask us
- 6:34Speaker 1: any questions you want. You can either email us or
- 6:37Speaker 1: hit us up on X, at the show Eddie, at
- 6:40Speaker 1: the show Thor, and we'll go through your questions every week.
- 6:43Speaker 1: This question is exactly about the injured quarterback situation. He says,
- 6:47Speaker 1: got a tough situation. With losing my starting quarterback, Caleb Williams,
- 6:51Speaker 1: most of the top guys are gone. I need to
- 6:53Speaker 1: pick somebody up. My choices are Kyler Murray or Malik Willis.
- 6:57Speaker 1: What are your thoughts?
- 6:59Speaker 2: I'm going to go with Kyler Murray because Malik Willis
- 7:01Speaker 2: is playing the Chiefs defense. And the Dolphins are terrible.
- 7:07Speaker 2: And I know they scored points. They didn't do anything
- 7:10Speaker 2: against the Niners. They had that one big play at
- 7:11Speaker 2: the very end of the game, and that's been it.
- 7:13Speaker 2: This is going to be one of those Chiefs games
- 7:15Speaker 2: where they just dominate. Nothing ever happens. It's a boring game.
- 7:18Speaker 1: I guess the worry is Kyler getting hurt. One bad
- 7:23Speaker 1: hit and he's out again. And then the thing about
- 7:27Speaker 1: Kyler that you want for fantasy is his legs. You
- 7:30Speaker 1: want him to run a touchdown in or something like that.
- 7:33Speaker 2: Yeah, but I think Justin Jefferson is back to being
- 7:36Speaker 2: Justin Jefferson again. So I think they're going to sling
- 7:39Speaker 2: it to Jefferson a lot. I'm fine with Kyler Murray
- 7:43Speaker 2: right now because I get what– you're right. But I
- 7:46Speaker 2: can say that about any running quarterback, right?
- 7:49Speaker 1: But he's just coming off a concussion. That's why.
- 7:51Speaker 2: Yeah, but I still wouldn't start Malik Willis. He's got
- 7:54Speaker 2: no receivers. The running game is all they have, and
- 7:56Speaker 2: that's barely anything.
- 7:57Speaker 1: And I'm wondering, like you say that's all that's available.
- 8:00Speaker 1: It's crazy. cousins available i mean you know that i
- 8:04Speaker 1: don't know that malik willis would be my second choice
- 8:06Speaker 1: i don't know who else is out there maybe bryce
- 8:08Speaker 1: young is available you know i don't know uh but
- 8:10Speaker 1: if those are my between those two guys yeah i'm
- 8:12Speaker 1: taking kyler murray.
- 8:13Speaker 2: I would still do kyler over kirk cousins because kirk
- 8:16Speaker 2: cousins is playing a tough saints defense too saints defense
- 8:19Speaker 2: has looked a lot better so i mean they just
- 8:21Speaker 2: beat baltimore in baltimore that's a that's a very underrated
- 8:25Speaker 2: win that not a lot of people are talking about
- 8:26Speaker 2: because it's so much other stuff going on you know.
- 8:28Speaker 1: For sure This question says, a need to start at flex,
- 8:32Speaker 1: either between Aaron Jones or Cortland Sutton, half point PPR.
- 8:36Speaker 2: I mean, Aaron Jones is a starting running back there.
- 8:39Speaker 1: Mason's down.
- 8:40Speaker 2: And the Bucs, I mean, Quincy Judkins just ran all
- 8:44Speaker 2: over him for the Browns.
- 8:45Speaker 1: And Aaron Jones last week, who started, had a big game.
- 8:49Speaker 2: So yeah, I'd go with the running back.
- 8:50Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know. Denver still hasn't done much. I
- 8:54Speaker 1: know they got the win. And I know they finally
- 8:56Speaker 1: got the ball to Jalen Waddell going, which is nice.
- 8:59Speaker 1: But Corlin Sutton has done nothing yet.
- 9:01Speaker 2: But that's kind of him. All last year, too, it
- 9:04Speaker 2: was kind of like sometimes he'd have a decent game,
- 9:06Speaker 2: sometimes he wouldn't do anything.
- 9:07Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 9:07Speaker 2: So that's kind of who he is.
- 9:08Speaker 1: And if the goal, it seems like the goal for
- 9:11Speaker 1: them is to make sure Waddle gets it, then Courtland
- 9:14Speaker 1: Sutton may be on the outs. Yeah. So you at
- 9:16Speaker 1: least are guaranteed you know at running back Aaron Jones
- 9:19Speaker 1: is going to get touches, so I would play the
- 9:22Speaker 1: safe route and go with Aaron Jones.
- 9:23Speaker 2: And you're going against a defense that hasn't been great
- 9:26Speaker 2: in the Bucs.
- 9:26Speaker 1: Mm-hmm.
- 9:26Speaker 3: You know?
- 9:27Speaker 1: That makes sense. Another injury question. Lost my tight end
- 9:30Speaker 1: Dallas Goddard for a few weeks. Should I start TJ
- 9:33Speaker 1: Hawkinson or Aranda Gadsen?
- 9:37Speaker 2: I would probably go with Hawkinson.
- 9:38Speaker 1: Really?
- 9:39Speaker 2: Because, I mean, Gadsen got in the end zone.
- 9:41Speaker 1: He had two catches. Got in the end zone.
- 9:43Speaker 2: I mean, I get one of them was a touchdown.
- 9:44Speaker 1: Got in the end zone.
- 9:45Speaker 2: They're playing the Bills in Buffalo. That offense looks terrible
- 9:49Speaker 2: right now.
- 9:49Speaker 1: Yeah, I can't trust the Chargers for anything right now, unfortunately.
- 9:55Speaker 2: If you have a second option in Hawkinson, I'm going
- 9:58Speaker 2: with Hawkinson.
- 9:59Speaker 1: He was kind of forgotten about. I remember at all
- 10:02Speaker 1: of our drafts, he went undrafted. And TJ Hawkinson, a
- 10:05Speaker 1: couple years ago, was one of the top five guys,
- 10:07Speaker 1: I would say.
- 10:09Speaker 2: He hasn't been bad. And so they're still throwing him
- 10:12Speaker 2: the ball. He's got nine targets in two games. But again,
- 10:15Speaker 2: it was Carson Wentz throwing him the ball. And Kyler
- 10:18Speaker 2: Murray's better than Carson Wentz. And so I'm just going
- 10:21Speaker 2: to stick with the fact that I think Hawkinson's going
- 10:23Speaker 2: to get more opportunities.
- 10:24Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't love either option. And until the Chargers
- 10:28Speaker 1: show me they fixed the issue. Well, that's the thing, right?
- 10:31Speaker 1: That's why I would probably give just slightly the nod
- 10:34Speaker 1: to TJ Hawkinson. I mean, that's just shocking how bad
- 10:36Speaker 1: they are. I don't understand what's going on. It's just bizarre. Yeah.
- 10:38Speaker 1: All right, last question. PPR, Jalen Coker or Debo Samuel?
- 10:44Speaker 2: I'm going to go with Coker.
- 10:46Speaker 1: Oh, he's been great.
- 10:47Speaker 2: Listen, Debo, you're playing the... Who are they playing?
- 10:49Speaker 1: Oh, my God.
- 10:50Speaker 2: The Cardinals. You're playing the Cardinals at home. Purdy's looked
- 10:53Speaker 2: like a man on a mission the last couple weeks.
- 10:55Speaker 2: But I'm still going to go with Coker because Bryce
- 10:57Speaker 2: Young's slinging it all around, and they're playing the Browns.
- 10:59Speaker 1: The only... slight thing I would say is that, you know,
- 11:03Speaker 1: Mike Evans is banged up again. And so you knew
- 11:06Speaker 1: that was going to happen. I mean, so that's why
- 11:07Speaker 1: Debo may get a little bit more action, a little
- 11:10Speaker 1: bit more touches, but Coker has been great. And so,
- 11:13Speaker 1: I mean, he's kind of been better than Ted McMillan
- 11:15Speaker 1: so far. And so, uh, yeah, I think I'm going
- 11:18Speaker 1: to ride the hot hand. And like you said, I
- 11:20Speaker 1: like the matchup better a little bit. So there you go.
- 11:22Speaker 1: All right, let's get to our starts and sits for
- 11:24Speaker 1: the week at quarterback. Who's your start?
- 11:26Speaker 2: Dude, I just said it. I think he's on a
- 11:28Speaker 2: mission this year. Brock Purdy. I mean, he's walking off
- 11:31Speaker 2: the field with, like, after he throws a touchdown pass,
- 11:34Speaker 2: like it's all business. Whenever you see a quarterback that's
- 11:37Speaker 2: doing all business, something's different.
- 11:40Speaker 1: No cartwheels. Yeah, maybe he.
- 11:42Speaker 2: Thinks that this year is– because they're an older team,
- 11:45Speaker 2: so maybe he thinks that this is it, this is
- 11:47Speaker 2: the year, and it's either this or nothing, but he
- 11:49Speaker 2: is all business right now, and they're playing the Cardinals,
- 11:51Speaker 2: who aren't that great. Yeah.
- 11:53Speaker 1: Yeah, I usually will shy away a little bit from
- 11:57Speaker 1: Thursday games, but it just sort of depends what matchups
- 12:00Speaker 1: are and who we're talking about. I hate them.
- 12:02Speaker 2: Because you either feel like you're going to win or
- 12:04Speaker 2: you feel like.
- 12:04Speaker 1: You're going to lose. Yeah, so my start this week
- 12:06Speaker 1: is based on the matchup, though. I'm going to go
- 12:07Speaker 1: with Jordan Love against Atlanta. I mean, the Falcons are
- 12:11Speaker 1: right up there for the worst team in football.
- 12:13Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 12:15Speaker 1: You could have said the Browns until they won that game,
- 12:17Speaker 1: but they look decent. And so the Falcons, though, they
- 12:20Speaker 1: just look atrocious. And so the Packers had a big
- 12:24Speaker 1: come-from-behind win. I think they're going to ride that momentum.
- 12:27Speaker 1: So I like Jordan Love this week as my start.
- 12:29Speaker 1: Who's your sit?
- 12:29Speaker 2: My sit this week is going up against probably the
- 12:32Speaker 2: best defense in the league right now in the Vikings,
- 12:35Speaker 2: Baker Mayfield. He has one touchdown in two games, one pick,
- 12:38Speaker 2: but one touchdown.
- 12:40Speaker 1: And looked terrible trying to win that game.
- 12:42Speaker 2: Looked terrible. Amika Agbuka is not doing what he did
- 12:45Speaker 2: last year. Chris Godwin looks like a show of himself
- 12:47Speaker 2: because he's had so many injuries. So I'd stay away
- 12:50Speaker 2: from Baker Mayfield and who they're playing. Listen, the Vikings'
- 12:54Speaker 2: defense has been incredible. Look what they did to the Bears.
- 12:57Speaker 2: Flores is going to get a head coaching job. I mean,
- 12:59Speaker 2: he just is.
- 13:00Speaker 1: My sit this week is, again, a team. And you
- 13:03Speaker 1: look at this quarterback play and you wonder, what happened?
- 13:06Speaker 1: What is going on? Drake May. Oh, yeah. I'm a
- 13:09Speaker 1: little bit. concerned. And I would be if I'm a
- 13:12Speaker 1: Patriots fan of like, yeah, I know they got the
- 13:14Speaker 1: win last week, but I mean, the Steelers just look
- 13:16Speaker 1: God awful. It wasn't because of him that they really
- 13:19Speaker 1: went out there and got that win. And I'm just,
- 13:22Speaker 1: I don't know. He just looks different. He's making some
- 13:24Speaker 1: odd decisions. The first two games, I have not been impressed.
- 13:29Speaker 1: So again, I've not given up on Drake May by
- 13:31Speaker 1: any means. I'm just like, again, I'm cautious of about
- 13:35Speaker 1: certain guys. He just had a rough start so far.
- 13:36Speaker 1: Until I see.
- 13:37Speaker 2: Exactly.
- 13:38Speaker 1: And Jacksonville's a good team. I know they blew it
- 13:40Speaker 1: against the Broncos. But yeah, that's going to be an
- 13:43Speaker 1: interesting game. And I'm sure what I'm going to get after.
- 13:45Speaker 2: And they're really not getting Romeo Dobbs as involved as
- 13:48Speaker 2: I thought he was going to be.
- 13:49Speaker 1: And they don't even have A.J. Brown.
- 13:50Speaker 2: They don't have A.J. Brown.
- 13:51Speaker 1: So another reason why I'm like, eh, no, I don't
- 13:53Speaker 1: like it. Running back, who's your start?
- 13:54Speaker 2: So it was just announced that Jonathan Brooks is going
- 13:57Speaker 2: on IRs. Poor guy can't catch a break, man. He's
- 13:59Speaker 2: having surgery. So Chuba Hubbard at the Browns. He's got
- 14:03Speaker 2: three touchdowns in two games. He's been a receiving threat
- 14:05Speaker 2: on top of his running, so I'm starting Chuba Hubbard
- 14:07Speaker 2: if you have him.
- 14:08Speaker 1: I'm making a trade offer for him in one of
- 14:09Speaker 1: our leagues. Whoa. Because I like Chuba too, and the
- 14:13Speaker 1: guy's not even playing him. You know, he's got like
- 14:15Speaker 1: two stud running backs. And so I'm like, oh, maybe
- 14:18Speaker 1: I can sneakily get Chuba Hubbard on this team. So
- 14:20Speaker 1: I like that pick too. My start is a guy
- 14:23Speaker 1: you're going to like. Oh, really? My start is... It's
- 14:26Speaker 1: Cam Scataboo. Oh, Scat. The Scatman.
- 14:29Speaker 2: The guy who they didn't have in on fourth and
- 14:31Speaker 2: two at the five-yard line.
- 14:32Speaker 1: So again, if you look at that, and the cameras
- 14:35Speaker 1: were focused on him, the announcers were talking about it.
- 14:39Speaker 1: You don't have Patrick Card in the game, your giant
- 14:41Speaker 1: 300-pound fullback, or Cam Scataboo.
- 14:43Speaker 2: And you're out of shotgun.
- 14:44Speaker 1: It didn't make any sense.
- 14:45Speaker 2: I don't get what they were doing.
- 14:47Speaker 1: So there's no way John Harbaugh is going to accept that,
- 14:49Speaker 1: and he's going to realize, like, Now that we don't
- 14:52Speaker 1: have Jackson Dart, we got to rely on our running game.
- 14:55Speaker 1: So Scataboo against the Titans, I like that matchup a lot.
- 14:58Speaker 2: No, I agree. And the good thing about Harbaugh is
- 15:01Speaker 2: over his career, if something like that happens, he'll make
- 15:04Speaker 2: the change. He won't just stick with what's not working
- 15:06Speaker 2: because he's stubborn.
- 15:07Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 15:08Speaker 2: So I agree.
- 15:08Speaker 1: Yeah. Who's your sit?
- 15:09Speaker 2: My sit is Ja'Cory Krosky-Merritt. Bill?
- 15:13Speaker 1: Bill.
- 15:14Speaker 2: One, he lost touches last week to Rasheed White. Two,
- 15:17Speaker 2: they're playing the Seahawks. Three, no Jaden Daniels. So I
- 15:22Speaker 2: picked up Rasheed White. Like I said, if he's there,
- 15:24Speaker 2: pick him up and just kind of have him as
- 15:26Speaker 2: a bench guy. I wouldn't start either of them in
- 15:27Speaker 2: this game, though.
- 15:28Speaker 1: My sit this week is 8chan? You can say, wait,
- 15:33Speaker 1: Devon 8chan?
- 15:34Speaker 2: No. Travis.
- 15:36Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 15:37Speaker 3: A-Chan?
- 15:37Speaker 1: A-Chan. Wait, what happened to Etienne? I don't know why
- 15:40Speaker 1: it's different. I have eyes, okay? I know how to read.
- 15:44Speaker 1: We're now pronouncing Travis Etienne, Travis A-Chan? Yeah, I don't
- 15:48Speaker 1: get that. This confuses me more than anything I've seen
- 15:51Speaker 1: this season. Yeah, it's real. But I have him, and
- 15:53Speaker 1: I still don't know what I'm supposed to call him.
- 15:55Speaker 1: But whatever, you know who I'm talking about from the Saints,
- 15:57Speaker 1: Travis A-Chan, I guess. So- Here's the thing. Now, this
- 16:02Speaker 1: really doesn't make sense. You went out and you spent
- 16:04Speaker 1: all this money as a free agent signing to get
- 16:06Speaker 1: this guy. And then last week, you have 100-year-old Alvin
- 16:11Speaker 1: Kamara get more touches than your big free agent signing.
- 16:16Speaker 2: Yeah. And that happened in week one as well, where
- 16:20Speaker 2: they kind of gave the rookie or whoever is back.
- 16:22Speaker 2: I don't know who's backing him up.
- 16:23Speaker 1: I forget what his name is now.
- 16:24Speaker 2: A ton of touches.
- 16:24Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 16:24Speaker 2: Like, why did you bring in Travis H?
- 16:26Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't understand what's going on with this Saints
- 16:29Speaker 1: running back situation. And because of that and how weird
- 16:33Speaker 1: it is, I know they're playing the Raiders. Raiders are
- 16:35Speaker 1: playing a little bit better. Yeah, this isn't the Raiders
- 16:37Speaker 1: from last year.
- 16:38Speaker 3: No, no.
- 16:38Speaker 2: Are they a great team?
- 16:39Speaker 3: No.
- 16:39Speaker 1: No. But they look better.
- 16:41Speaker 2: They're better.
- 16:41Speaker 1: They look better. So, yeah, I'm staying away from just
- 16:44Speaker 1: the entire Saints backfield right now. Wide receiver, who's your start?
- 16:47Speaker 2: This guy's gotten 19 targets already. in two games, has
- 16:51Speaker 2: three touchdowns, going up against a terrible defense. I hate
- 16:54Speaker 2: Thursday games, but I'm starting Christian Watson.
- 16:58Speaker 1: Yeah, he's become the number one there. Yeah. And with
- 17:02Speaker 1: Reid going down, too, opens up even more. Yeah, that
- 17:05Speaker 1: makes sense. My start this week, we talked about it earlier. Yeah,
- 17:08Speaker 1: Coker kind of has been the guy, but at some point,
- 17:11Speaker 1: Ted McMillan is going to be the guy, and he's
- 17:14Speaker 1: going to have the most targets, most catches, and things
- 17:17Speaker 1: like that. I think it's going to be this week.
- 17:19Speaker 1: I like Ted McMillan this week against Cleveland, so he
- 17:22Speaker 1: is my start. Who's your sit?
- 17:24Speaker 2: So I just said that Christian Watson has 19 targets
- 17:26Speaker 2: in two games. This guy also has 19 targets in
- 17:29Speaker 2: two games, but has no touchdowns and 67 yards receiving.
- 17:33Speaker 2: DK Metcalf.
- 17:35Speaker 1: Oh. He is awful. Ugly.
- 17:37Speaker 2: He is awful.
- 17:38Speaker 1: What happened?
- 17:39Speaker 2: I don't know, man.
- 17:40Speaker 1: Maybe it's the way Rodgers throws it.
- 17:41Speaker 2: Maybe.
- 17:42Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 17:42Speaker 2: Because not only is he... Yeah, everything's incomplete. He's dropping
- 17:46Speaker 2: the ball. He had a couple big drops last few games.
- 17:49Speaker 2: I don't know what happened. And they paid him a
- 17:51Speaker 2: lot of money recently, so they stink.
- 17:53Speaker 1: Yeah, it looks weird. My sit this week, I don't
- 17:56Speaker 1: like it because of the injury to the quarterback position
- 18:01Speaker 1: and who they're playing. Scary Terry. Terry McLaurin. Terry McLaurin, who, again,
- 18:06Speaker 1: they had him open in the end zone, didn't get
- 18:09Speaker 1: a touchdown last week. Take it on the Seahawks. Their
- 18:13Speaker 1: defensive backfield is really good. Their defense is just really good.
- 18:16Speaker 1: And so the commanders are in trouble this week. I mean,
- 18:19Speaker 1: you're going back to Marcus Mariota. I don't see it happening.
- 18:23Speaker 1: So I'm sitting Terry this week. Tight end, who's your start?
- 18:26Speaker 2: This guy had his first 100-yard game since 2024. I'm
- 18:30Speaker 2: talking about Travis Kelsey.
- 18:32Speaker 1: Listen. I thought you weren't a believer.
- 18:33Speaker 2: I'm not a believer in Kelsey to last like this
- 18:37Speaker 2: the whole season. He's too old. I don't think it's
- 18:40Speaker 2: going to happen. He still looks kind of slow, but
- 18:42Speaker 2: they're playing the Dolphins. Clearly, Mahomes wants to get him involved.
- 18:46Speaker 2: He's got 16 targets through two games. I think he'll
- 18:49Speaker 2: get a touchdown.
- 18:50Speaker 1: If he catches the touchdown, will you mouth to yourself,
- 18:53Speaker 1: that's my husband?
- 18:54Speaker 2: Well, I'm not married to him. Okay.
- 18:55Speaker 1: Well, I didn't know. I won't do that. Okay. Okay.
- 18:58Speaker 1: I just want to make sure.
- 18:59Speaker 2: I'm not Taylor Swift.
- 19:01Speaker 1: My start this week is a guy who has done
- 19:05Speaker 1: nothing through two games. He was the stud rookie last year.
- 19:09Speaker 1: And you're wondering what is going on with Colston Loveland. Oh,
- 19:13Speaker 1: he's a start. Why is he not more involved in
- 19:16Speaker 1: that Bears offense? Now, you go, you look at that
- 19:19Speaker 1: offense last week, and nobody did anything because they were
- 19:22Speaker 1: so terrible. You can blame the conditions. That's fine. There's
- 19:25Speaker 1: no way Ben Johnson is going to allow this to
- 19:27Speaker 1: happen again. I don't care if it's Caleb or Tyson Badgett.
- 19:30Speaker 1: I think that they're going to throw the football and
- 19:32Speaker 1: try to run up the score, okay? And you have
- 19:35Speaker 1: to involve Colston Loveland.
- 19:37Speaker 2: You have to at this point. Him and Luther Burden
- 19:39Speaker 2: still haven't really done anything.
- 19:40Speaker 1: Nothing, nothing. And so it's been almost shocking and weird.
- 19:44Speaker 1: And you look at that and go, they've been successful
- 19:46Speaker 1: in spite of that. um not last week um but
- 19:49Speaker 1: i i like colson loveland this week i think they're
- 19:51Speaker 1: gonna force him the ball i don't know if he's
- 19:53Speaker 1: gonna find the ends of a lot but he's gonna
- 19:54Speaker 1: catch a lot of balls this week i just they
- 19:56Speaker 1: have to it just doesn't make any sense so colson
- 19:58Speaker 1: loves is my start who's your sit a.
- 20:00Speaker 2: Guy that has kind of i wouldn't say bust But
- 20:03Speaker 2: he was the highest tight end ever drafted, and he's
- 20:06Speaker 2: kind of whatever. I'm talking about Kyle Pitts. He's got
- 20:10Speaker 2: one catch for 15 yards on the year. Now, listen,
- 20:12Speaker 2: Michael Penix is coming back on Thursday, but they're playing
- 20:16Speaker 2: the Packers. It's in Green Bay.
- 20:17Speaker 1: You're riding a lot on this Thursday game. You better
- 20:20Speaker 1: be careful, bro. You're going to watch that game.
- 20:23Speaker 2: With more intensity. I'm just so defeated from Jackson Dart
- 20:26Speaker 2: that I'm just picking random guys. I'm only going Thursday games.
- 20:30Speaker 2: So I'm sitting Kyle Pitts.
- 20:31Speaker 1: Yeah, Pitts had that little resurgence last year, and he
- 20:35Speaker 1: sort of looked good, and you're like, oh, he finally
- 20:36Speaker 1: figured it out.
- 20:37Speaker 2: One catch for 15 years.
- 20:38Speaker 1: And then two games, he's got one catch. And I
- 20:40Speaker 1: know guys drafted him, too, and they're probably just pulling
- 20:42Speaker 1: the hair out.
- 20:43Speaker 2: Yeah, but he's just one of those guys where every year,
- 20:44Speaker 2: this is the year.
- 20:45Speaker 1: I know, it's weird. My sit this week is tough
- 20:48Speaker 1: because he's had a good first couple of games. He's
- 20:52Speaker 1: looked solid. He's a good player, but I just, I
- 20:55Speaker 1: don't like the matchup this week. And I'm talking about
- 20:58Speaker 1: Tyler Warren from the Colts. He's been great. You know,
- 21:01Speaker 1: he's got the, he found the end zone, but you're
- 21:04Speaker 1: taking on the Texans. Texans is another level of defense
- 21:07Speaker 1: and Texans are 0-2. They're going to come out, I believe,
- 21:10Speaker 1: and really put it on the Colts. I think Daniel
- 21:12Speaker 1: Jones is in big trouble. And so I just don't
- 21:14Speaker 1: think he's going to have the time.
- 21:15Speaker 2: What was my team that I told you was going
- 21:16Speaker 2: to be a disaster this year?
- 21:18Speaker 1: The Colts. You're right.
- 21:21Speaker 2: I mean, they almost pulled it out.
- 21:22Speaker 1: Against the Chiefs. You also said that the Jets were
- 21:24Speaker 1: going to win last week.
- 21:24Speaker 2: They were very close.
- 21:25Speaker 1: Did I need to bring that up? Did I need
- 21:26Speaker 1: to bring this up? How do you blow that game?
- 21:28Speaker 1: Did I need to bring this up? You're at home. Yeah,
- 21:30Speaker 1: I mean, I was never more invested in the Jets
- 21:32Speaker 1: game in my life. How do you blow that game?
- 21:34Speaker 1: They did. They did. And yet they're the Jets. They're
- 21:37Speaker 1: always going to find a way.
- 21:38Speaker 2: I know.
- 21:38Speaker 1: Don't believe in them yet. Matt LaFleur. Aaron, Jake Glenn
- 21:41Speaker 1: doesn't know how to coach.
- 21:42Speaker 2: He coached circles around him.
- 21:44Speaker 1: It was crazy.
- 21:44Speaker 2: It was crazy.
- 21:46Speaker 1: I didn't feel like taking a timeout.
- 21:47Speaker 2: Really? Why? I mean, huh?
- 21:49Speaker 1: And you're going to take the ball? Yeah, that was wild.
- 21:51Speaker 1: It was so odd. And I felt your pain out
- 21:54Speaker 1: of everybody, which is hysterical.
- 21:56Speaker 2: I was like, you've got to be. Yeah, I was
- 21:58Speaker 2: texting my buddy who's a big Jets fan. And I
- 22:00Speaker 2: was like, dude, I bought in.
- 22:01Speaker 1: You shouldn't. There's still the Jets. Yeah, so there you go.
- 22:05Speaker 1: Those are our starts and sits for the week. Hopefully
- 22:07Speaker 1: you go out there and get a win.
