Peoria Gas Drops, Diesel Soars | Peoria News
Peoria’s gas prices are cooling off—dropping to $4.12 a gallon, cheaper than last week and a month ago, though still way up from last year. Nationally, gas edged up to $4.09, while diesel surged to a record $5.87—a painful spike on the same Labor Day weekend that set the all-time gas price record. The cheapest spot in Peoria? $3.79 at a Thornton’s in East Peoria; the priciest? $4.49. Experts warn diesel may keep climbing until global refining issues ease, while regular gas could slow its seasonal climb soon. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow…
