- 0:00Welcome to Rick and not Michelle chick.
- 0:02I'm not Michelle Chick. And I'm Rick.
- 0:05Welcome. Howdy.
- 0:05Come on in. Kick, kick shoes off and let's
- 0:09chat. OK, So I really, really want to
- 0:13hear your review of the Superman movie.
- 0:15First off, did you go to the early showing or did you wait
- 0:19for Megan? Because that's critical
- 0:21information. You did wait for her.
- 0:24No, I did not. So.
- 0:26No. No.
- 0:26But she knew. But she knew.
- 0:27She knew. So I had.
- 0:28I had talked to her couple days before and said, you know,
- 0:32traditionally I go on the first showing of any superhero movie.
- 0:35Now, I have not done it in a long time because Marvel hasn't
- 0:37been that good. But I did go see Super.
- 0:40I did go see Superman Thursday before it opened.
- 0:43And then and then I did go see it again on Friday with Megan.
- 0:47Yes. Yeah.
- 0:48So I've I've got a couple times. OK.
- 0:51And your? What are your thoughts?
- 0:53Well, I, I think what I think is it is the best comic book
- 0:59accurate movie you're going to find.
- 1:02So if so, if you're a huge fan of the comic books and
- 1:05especially of what they call the Silver Age, you're going to love
- 1:08this Superman. He's not this Superman is not
- 1:12all powerful. I mean, he's still powerful, but
- 1:15he's not at that extreme to where he can push a planet with
- 1:18a pinky and he's on. So he gets I I think I it's
- 1:22interesting and and again, spoiler talk, but I mean, he
- 1:25spends most the he spends most the movie getting his getting
- 1:27his butt kicked. You know what I'm saying?
- 1:29But but at the end you get that heroic, you know, he puts it all
- 1:34together and here comes Superman.
- 1:36There's a lot of great cameos. They did really good with the
- 1:39Green Lantern hot girl, the different DC superheroes that
- 1:43are in there sprinkled in. For me, if if it's so funny, I
- 1:48would buy that movie today for 50 bucks.
- 1:50Absolutely. It was that good.
- 1:52So I'm going to put that one probably for me in my top three
- 1:56of all time of of just superhero movies and what made me think
- 2:00about it here. So as I was watching it,
- 2:02Michelle, I remember 1978 and my very first Superman movie, which
- 2:08was Christopher Reeve. So I know everybody else loves
- 2:10Star Wars and all that, but for me, superheroes was my jam.
- 2:15And to see and to see Christopher Reeve and Superman.
- 2:17So for me, I was funny. I was talking to a Co worker.
- 2:20He was like, well, this has got to be your favorite Superman
- 2:22movie. Well, I'm like, well,
- 2:24nostalgically I got to put Superman #1 because when you're
- 2:288 years old and how you view the world and then and then how you
- 2:33view view the world as a middle-aged person is totally
- 2:35different. So at, at 8 years old, you're in
- 2:38this oddest, whoa, you know, I had never seen that.
- 2:42Now I've seen a billion superhero movies.
- 2:45So it wasn't like, and it's still I, I, it was entertaining.
- 2:49I loved it. My son and I went.
- 2:51He has not seen it yet. So I don't do any.
- 2:53I don't want to do any spoilers, but he was talking, we're gonna
- 2:56go in a couple weeks, but he was talking about well, I hope he
- 2:59hopes it's woke. It's woke.
- 3:01And so, so I don't, I personally, I think there was
- 3:04some analogies in there, but I don't think it's.
- 3:07I mean, Fox News was calling it woke.
- 3:09Yeah, right. So, so there aren't.
- 3:11There aren't. Necessarily.
- 3:13Yeah, there there are analogies in there.
- 3:15There's no doubt there is you know, there is some analogies,
- 3:18but I mean what I what I say it's on the nose now.
- 3:21Now AJ my Co worker disagree with it goes it's on the nose.
- 3:24I'm like, well, I I didn't feel that.
- 3:27And he's like, oh, it's on the nose it's right there in your
- 3:29face. So I will I will 1 little bit of
- 3:32spoiler talk for me, which it really hit me at an emotional
- 3:36core by the fact I will do 1 little bit of have you seen up
- 3:40Michelle? No, but Shaylee went to go see
- 3:43it. Her friend made her go see it
- 3:45because her friend likes one of the actors.
- 3:47And then I don't even know which one it is.
- 3:48And I I think that the only superhero movie she's ever seen
- 3:53is probably The Avengers. And she said it's pretty good.
- 3:55She liked it. She oh good.
- 3:57She was kind of dreading going to see you because I don't think
- 3:59she knew anything about Superman, but yeah, she enjoyed.
- 4:01It I will I will say it's two hours and it goes so fast that I
- 4:05mean it's just a rapid fire thing.
- 4:07So and it's and it's funny and you got crypto the Super dawg.
- 4:11I mean there's a lot of great things that steal the steal the
- 4:13show. But I will say this for for me,
- 4:17the best part of the movie, very, there's a twist in the
- 4:21movie to where so again, as you know, his story rocketed earth
- 4:25as a as a little baby, the Krypton blew up.
- 4:29And so he's in the fortunes of solitude at the very beginning
- 4:32of the movie and they're replaying a message from his
- 4:36real parents. So Jorrell and Laura, his real
- 4:39parents. And so, but half the messages is
- 4:41garbled. He doesn't know what the other
- 4:43half of the messages. So all the time he's there, he's
- 4:47like he's like my parents said, you know that I was I was here
- 4:50for good. I'm here for good.
- 4:52I'm here to help people. They love me.
- 4:55And and that was playing there. Well, Lex Luthor breaks into the
- 4:58fortress and steals the message and unguardable the end parts of
- 5:04the message. And you discover what she uses
- 5:07against Superman in the movie that his parents at the very end
- 5:10says, we love you now. We want you to conquer.
- 5:14We want you to be a conqueror. Use your power, you know, use
- 5:17your strength, be a conqueror, take many wives, a harem, all
- 5:21these different things. So Superman at the start of this
- 5:24movie has believed that his parents were benevolent, you
- 5:28know, and, and that that that he was there for to do good.
- 5:32And so through the movie, he's doubting himself and can't, you
- 5:35know, trying to get his head straight in that situation.
- 5:38And so and, and it's interesting because this Superman is 30
- 5:42years old. He's not middle-aged or tonight
- 5:43he's like, he's still young. And we, and when we were 30 and
- 5:46come on, when we were 30, we still didn't have anything, not
- 5:49everything figured out. And having life experience.
- 5:52Yeah, so it was interesting through the movie, his parents,
- 5:55his his adopted parents or the the kids would try to call him
- 5:58and he cut he was he was never rude, but he kind of throw he
- 6:01would kind of, you know, fluff him off if that made sense.
- 6:03You're like, oh, that that that's your parents did it.
- 6:06So again, this message comes out, Lex Luthor use it against
- 6:09and the whole world turns against Superman.
- 6:11But at the end of the movie, as he wraps up, as he succeeded,
- 6:15did what he was supposed to do, they say, hey, play, play that
- 6:18message from your parents. And guess who the parents are
- 6:23now? It's the it's the, it's the
- 6:25foster, it's the Kents, it's the foster family.
- 6:29So that's how they kind of yeah, because and and they have a big
- 6:32middle in the middle of the movie.
- 6:33He's talking to Paul Kent and and and Paul Kent is like, yeah,
- 6:37your choices make you basically. And you've seen that the TV
- 6:40trailer makes you the man of who you are.
- 6:43So. So that was a nice twist in the
- 6:45movie to where, and I believe this really happens to a lot of
- 6:49kids that have been abandoned or don't know their real parents.
- 6:52They have an idol a lot. Oh my gosh, an idyllic vision of
- 6:56who they think their parents are.
- 6:59So, so having been a foster kid and been pushed into the system,
- 7:03it's like, I've talked about this a lot.
- 7:05I, I knew my biological parents. I, I mean, I love my biological
- 7:09parents, but I, but I did not have, because of what happened.
- 7:13I did not have that emotional attachment because I wasn't
- 7:19really raised by them. I was, I wasn't raised by them.
- 7:23So my morals or my values and where did, where did, where did
- 7:27my work ethic come from? Well, it came from my foster
- 7:30parents. And so for me, that direct
- 7:32correlation, that great, that great twist to where at the end
- 7:36of the movie and then, and then they, and then the great, they
- 7:39have a big, you know, they show all of his kid movies, his baby
- 7:42movies and shows you how loving, how loving the adopted parents
- 7:46are, right? So for me, that was the best
- 7:49part of the twist. If you're a, if you're a foster
- 7:50kid or you're a, or a kid who doesn't know who their parents
- 7:53are, it, it was a, it was a neat for me, took me right back to
- 7:58being 8 years old. And I, I even wrote about that.
- 8:01It's so funny. I even in my book, if you read
- 8:03my book, there's a there's a journal passage for my foster
- 8:07mom in her own. I only have a couple things that
- 8:10she wrote in her journal about me, but one of them was Virgil's
- 8:14going to go see Superman and that and so I know exactly
- 8:17March, it was March 8th, 197078. So I know exactly, you know, or
- 8:2279. So I know exactly when that that
- 8:24journal entry is in. So I put that in the book, not
- 8:27before. I haven't seen this Superman
- 8:28movie, but, but her writing in her journal about how I was so
- 8:32excited to go see Superman and, and just so in my book, there
- 8:36are some, there's a couple journal entries that my mom made
- 8:39that correlate with some of the stories that I told.
- 8:42So Joe's blue ribbons in there. There's a correlation, her
- 8:45journal entry and then my so you can see me flesh out that real
- 8:48story. So for me, if you're a foster
- 8:50kid, if you're somebody thinking, I mean, cuz that's the
- 8:55hard reality for kids. That is the hard reality for a
- 8:58kid who's been abandoned that they really put the parent
- 9:02that's not there on a pedestal and they really think that that
- 9:06parent, that parent can't do any wrong.
- 9:07And that parent may not be may not be that great.
- 9:11And you've there's a great foster kid movie called instant
- 9:14family with with Mark Wahlberg and and Isabella Merced and you
- 9:21got to watch it. It's wonderful where she has she
- 9:24just my mom's coming back for me.
- 9:26It's going to be perfect and my mom really wants me and all
- 9:29these things go on and then and in anyway, it's a great movie.
- 9:33So for this, for me, the Superman.
- 9:35I mean, you can talk about the woke stuff, sure, but for me,
- 9:38that correlation, that correlation between and and to
- 9:42the movie, he's blown off his his foster parents, he's blowing
- 9:45them off and has this, you know, my my real parents, my
- 9:48biological parents. And then at the end of the
- 9:50movie, you realize that that those who gave him the values,
- 9:54those who gave him the morals, and it wasn't even them.
- 9:58He's still in control. You know, 'cause my foster mom
- 10:00Pearl used to always say, Virgil, every action has a
- 10:04consequence. Every action has a consequence.
- 10:07So even, and it was interesting enough, I got arrested in high
- 10:12school. I don't, I don't ever talk about
- 10:13it. I don't, I don't ever talk about
- 10:15it 'cause I'm ashamed of it and embarrassed by it, but I don't.
- 10:18But I didn't read. This story.
- 10:20What's that? I don't think you've told me
- 10:22this. Story No one knows, no one
- 10:23knows. So no, no one knows.
- 10:25But and I don't and I don't like to talk about it.
- 10:27I but I've only been arrested one time in my entire life.
- 10:31It was it was expunged off my record.
- 10:33So technically it doesn't exist. And I remember when mom picked
- 10:36me up at the police station and I was bawling, I was crying and
- 10:42I was and my dad had already passed away.
- 10:44My foster dad had already passed away.
- 10:46And so I'm sitting there talking to my foster mom and I'm like,
- 10:49well, Dad's looking down. He's so ashamed.
- 10:51He's so embarrassed. You know, I'm so humiliated.
- 10:55And you know, because I always, you know, to me, you can say it.
- 10:58I come off as holier than thou sometimes.
- 11:00Come on. You can say, you can say it.
- 11:03You know, a lot of people think I'm a lot of people think I'm a
- 11:05goody goody. I mean, I think that's a fair
- 11:08statement. I think to some degree, you know
- 11:12we. Because I don't party.
- 11:14I don't party. I mean, you know what I'm
- 11:16saying? If you.
- 11:16Don't drink alcohol. No, you never have.
- 11:18No, I don't at all. I just no, no.
- 11:20And and I try. I'm not perfect as far as from,
- 11:24but I do try to be a pretty good person.
- 11:28Right. For the most part.
- 11:29So mom picks me up. She's talking to me and I'm and
- 11:32I'm crying, ready for the lecture.
- 11:34And she goes and she just literally goes.
- 11:36Everybody falls down. Everybody makes mistakes.
- 11:38Virgil, what you do going forward is what defines you.
- 11:43If you continue this behavior, you're going to, you know,
- 11:45you're going to reap what you sow.
- 11:47And so those are the little things that that every action
- 11:50has consequences. So, yeah.
- 11:52So that movie for me took me right back to 8 years old and
- 11:56the foster parent, the biological correlation.
- 11:59And then outside of that, it's a fun movie.
- 12:01Go see it. I'm going to see it.
- 12:02I'm going to go see it again with Logan in a couple weeks.
- 12:04And I'd I'd buy it today. So it just really has, it has a
- 12:08lot of great messages in there and, and maybe there's some
- 12:12woke, maybe there's some woke messages.
- 12:14The best part of it, the best part of the Superman movie is,
- 12:19is being a good person. Right.
- 12:22That that is Superman to me. And I and I used to people and
- 12:26now, now I can honestly answer the question.
- 12:28So for years I've been a big Superman fan or a superhero fan
- 12:31for 40 plus years. I can finally answer the
- 12:34question because everybody asks me who's your favorite
- 12:36superhero? And I always say, well, Superman
- 12:38was my first, but I like them all.
- 12:40No, no, I can, I can quantify today that for me, Superman is
- 12:44my my favorite because he's my first.
- 12:46And then just the just the be a good person.
- 12:51He's a big Boy Scout man. Love Batman for different
- 12:55reasons. Batman, yeah.
- 12:57Everybody wants to be Batman. Everybody wants to be.
- 12:59Everybody wants to be Batman. I get it, you know, but but, but
- 13:03for me, it's like, because even in the movie, they make such a
- 13:06great point to see Superman saving a squirrel out of a tree,
- 13:10saving children, all these different things that really
- 13:13exemplifies who Superman is. And And so Batman, Batman might
- 13:19let you die. Yeah, he'll do his best to save.
- 13:23Depend on the day for. Batman, it does depend on the
- 13:25day and and as I always say, who's writing it?
- 13:29Who's writing the story? Because remember, these are
- 13:31fictional characters. So it's, it goes back to that
- 13:34big joke of like, well, can Batman beat Superman?
- 13:36Well, who's writing it? The writer decides if I decide
- 13:40that, yeah, so, so if it's going to be an evil Superman, it'll be
- 13:43an evil Superman. But they really did a great job
- 13:45and and kids and family should go see it and you and I think
- 13:49you and Jay would enjoy it a lot.
- 13:50And and you know, I'm going to go see with Logan because I
- 13:54really want to see if he can pick out the woke message in it
- 13:57and see if he I'm sure. I'm sure he will.
- 13:59I was not woke. I was not woke enough.
- 14:02Like we talked about last week, I feel like everybody's just
- 14:05labeling wokeness with whatever they don't agree with.
- 14:09Like why can't you just go watch this movie, enjoy this movie and
- 14:13not think anything of like it's woke or it has this message or
- 14:17that message. Just go have a good time.
- 14:19That's what we used to do when we were younger.
- 14:21It's a. Popcorn movie.
- 14:22There wasn't, no. Hidden message or trying to
- 14:25decode what it is, or the conspiracy or you know, just go
- 14:29watch it and have fun. Shoot.
- 14:30Well, the and and and if you want to, if if you want to go
- 14:33see it, I'm sure Shaylee said the dog stole the show.
- 14:37Did she not say the dog stole the show?
- 14:39I mean, you know, she loves animals.
- 14:41And so I had told. Her.
- 14:43I told her because she it was kind of driving going especially
- 14:45after she heard it was over 2 hours and I go oh don't worry,
- 14:49there's a dog in it, you'll love it.
- 14:52Super dog, a super dog. So the dogs fly.
- 14:55You know, there's all these there's all these great scenes.
- 14:57It's it that's also what makes this movie so much fun is James
- 15:01Gunn said he took in a stray dog, took in a stray dog.
- 15:05And so this, well, Crypto was a real dog in in comic books, but
- 15:08he modeled it after his, after his rescue.
- 15:11And he said when he first got this rescue, he ate his, he ate
- 15:14his computer, ate his shoes, destroyed the house.
- 15:17And so and so that's what made him want to write this story.
- 15:20He said, well, what if the dog, what if my dog really had
- 15:22superpowers? And so he wrote Crypto in the
- 15:26Superman movie because Crypto does exist in Superman.
- 15:29And the dog is he's he's a dog, but he's destroying.
- 15:33I mean, he's destroying crap as a dog would.
- 15:36So. So yeah, there was some, I'm
- 15:37sure there was. There'll be some great scenes
- 15:39that you'll actually enjoy about it is because.
- 15:42Yeah, if you've ever had a an unruly dog that you can't keep
- 15:45control of, this is that. It's not.
- 15:48Yeah, because he because they they do a great thing where it's
- 15:50he the dog is average intelligence for the dog.
- 15:53It just happens to have superpowers.
- 15:56So it so it fetches toys, but it doesn't fetch toys like you
- 15:59know, or different things that it does.
- 16:00So, you know, it breaks through walls and you know all these
- 16:04different things. So I think you'll love it a lot.
- 16:05So I definitely highly recommend it.
- 16:08Didn't mean to get so much into Superman but I was love the
- 16:11movie and really love the correlation with the foster
- 16:13parents. Right, well, I'm so glad I I
- 16:16feel like now I'll probably cry because Will.
- 16:20When we get to. That.
- 16:21Part There's some scenes, yeah, yeah, there's some crazy scenes
- 16:24and Lex Luther is evil, so it's good.
- 16:26You'll love it. I think was Holt plays Lex
- 16:28Luther. He's great.
- 16:30OK. All right, we'll go see it.
- 16:32Let's switch gears to the Emmy nominations.
- 16:35Yeah. What did you think of them
- 16:37today? Well, one of my favorite shows,
- 16:39I'm looking right now. I love this new show on the WB
- 16:42called the Pits. So and I, I so Noah Wyler.
- 16:47I love Noah Wyler. Yeah, he's, he's lead actor.
- 16:50He's he's in there an outstanding drama series.
- 16:53But there's a lot, there's a lot of great shows.
- 16:56I will admit some of these I have not seen.
- 16:58I mean, I do know a lot about them.
- 17:00Oh. OK, well I do watch Severance.
- 17:02Have you watched that? I have not watched Severance.
- 17:04Is that on Apple? Yes, that's the one.
- 17:06That's the one streaming service I do.
- 17:08I have them all but Apple, so I know that it's a fun move.
- 17:12I I like, I like hacks. I've seen hacks.
- 17:15I love hacks. Yep, I've seen the residents.
- 17:18Love the residents. Abbott Elementary.
- 17:20I love Abbott Elementary. There's a lot of, believe it or
- 17:23not, the superhero one, The Penguin.
- 17:25I have not seen it. I know I have HBO either, but I
- 17:28mean, I'm because again, I'm so burnt out on superheroes.
- 17:30I love superheroes, but I've gotten to the point where I'm
- 17:33just so burnt out on superheroes.
- 17:36I love, yes, and call me old. I don't care.
- 17:40I love Kathy Bates and Matlock. Have you seen that line?
- 17:42It's on. TV.
- 17:43I've watched it one time and honestly I just could not.
- 17:47Could I get into it? I love it.
- 17:49I love it, but I will. Have a hard time with any of
- 17:52those shows? You know, like.
- 17:54I'm surprised by all. The.
- 17:56I love Elsbeth. Oh my gosh, I.
- 17:58Well, I know because she's from True Blood, so I love her.
- 18:01Yeah, just as an actress. What are my favorite shows?
- 18:03I could not. I couldn't do it.
- 18:05I but I like, but I like those procedurals.
- 18:07So I'm a guy who likes Columbo, you know, those detective shows.
- 18:11I like them a lot. I like action.
- 18:12I like action and detective shows.
- 18:15But there are some stuff that you think that I, I mean, I know
- 18:17like The Last of Us, yeah. Like which I was fine, OK, Which
- 18:22I, when that when I heard about that show, which I love Pedro
- 18:25Pascal, and when I heard about the show, I was like, I thought
- 18:30it was based off of the book because, you know, it's based
- 18:33off of a book and a video game. And so here I am telling my
- 18:37children, Benjamin and Jackson, Oh my gosh, you know, The Last
- 18:42of Us is based off of this book. And they corrected me.
- 18:45They said no, mom. It's originally based off of a
- 18:48video game that we play. Oh wow.
- 18:51I'm going what? What?
- 18:57What? What stupid.
- 18:59I did know. Spoiler alert, I did know what
- 19:02was coming in Season 2, I just didn't think it was going to
- 19:04happen that soon because it really happens in the video
- 19:08game. OK, OK all.
- 19:09Right. So it's staying true to the how
- 19:13the video game is so. So when you're looking down the
- 19:16list or do you have any particular favorites?
- 19:18I'm looking down the list right now.
- 19:21Probably Severance, which I feel like so I feel like The White
- 19:24Lotus, which I think it's only nominated for best show, right?
- 19:27Best drama Best drama I. Don't think any of the actors or
- 19:31actresses, which I loved Walter Groggins in in this last season
- 19:36because he's in the Righteous Gemstones, Uncle Uncle Babybilly
- 19:40or whatever his name is and I love him.
- 19:42So a little bit disappointed he didn't pick up a nomination, but
- 19:47they've won a whole bunch. I do know Jean Smart got
- 19:51nominated again and she has one for Hacks.
- 19:54So yeah, I feel like the shows are pretty representative.
- 19:57I've seen a lot of them. Surprising.
- 19:59Usually I've only seen one or two so.
- 20:01When I do the Oscars, I'm like, what are these 5 movies?
- 20:04I don't know what they are, but I usually I've seen one of the
- 20:07Oscars, but I mean there's some good ones.
- 20:09Only murders in the Building. So I, I've seen, I saw the first
- 20:12season. I didn't see the other seasons,
- 20:14but I, but I, I love that. I mean, there's a there's a lot,
- 20:17there's a lot of good stuff in here if you're looking to vote,
- 20:19you know, and a lot, I mean, well, gosh, I'm looking at just
- 20:22the great lead actor, Sterling K Brown.
- 20:23He's phenomenal. Gary Oldman's phenomenal.
- 20:25That's going to be a tough, that's going to be a tough
- 20:28category. They're all going to be tough.
- 20:31But but yeah, these are all good.
- 20:34Have you and you've not watched White Lotus?
- 20:36I know White Lotus is the big buzz.
- 20:38I've watched all three seasons except for this last one.
- 20:41Jennifer Coolidge was not in and so it was a little like, oh, I
- 20:46miss Tanya. That was her character in the
- 20:48last the first two seasons. So I love Jennifer.
- 20:51Again, look at the list. I think there's a lot of great.
- 20:54Normally when you look at these lists, you're like, what is this
- 20:56stuff? So I, I think there's a lot of
- 20:58great these Emmys. I think there's a lot of good,
- 21:00good stuff in here that that is a good variety.
- 21:04But, and also usually what happens in these situations, you
- 21:08either don't win or you sweep it.
- 21:11Right. So it just depends on who's the,
- 21:13IT just depends on who's the favorite in here.
- 21:16Right, which I feel like White Lotus in like past Emmys picked
- 21:20up a whole bunch of them and again, they're only nominated
- 21:23for. And then, and then I also look
- 21:24at it sometimes too, which is always a surprise, but sometimes
- 21:28when they get towards the end of their career, it's a Gimme.
- 21:30So so I I again, I love. Kathy Bates Yeah, that's what
- 21:36I'm looking. When I'm looking right here, I'm
- 21:38like, OK, Kathy Bates or like you said, Gene Smart are are
- 21:41people I look at like phenomenal.
- 21:43I love them anyway, but I'm like, OK, they're getting
- 21:45towards the tail end. Do you do you just give it to
- 21:48them? I.
- 21:49Mean short, Do you have the Bates's one?
- 21:54Yeah, she's won Emmy. Yeah.
- 21:55So she's. Won.
- 21:55So they've won before. Yeah, they've won, so I can see.
- 21:59You know, if it was a Susan Lucci area.
- 22:02I knew you were going to go with Susan Lucci every.
- 22:03I was like, who's Susan Lucci? But yeah, Susan, 13 years.
- 22:07I mean, come on. I would, I would have quit
- 22:09showing up after after, after the first, like couple years,
- 22:12like, OK, guys. Yeah, so and, and even from the
- 22:16Susan Lucci thing, that's ridiculous. 13 years.
- 22:19She was like the daytime queen of meanness, right?
- 22:23I mean, she was, but there are a lot of.
- 22:25There is or whatever. You want to.
- 22:27Call and if you want to talk soap operas.
- 22:29I used to love Days of her Lives and Young and the restless.
- 22:31So if you're curious with. Those Yeah, those are my 2 jams.
- 22:34You know when you're home sick from school, you want surprises,
- 22:36right? And the young?
- 22:37And the restless yeah, bow and hope.
- 22:39And then I used to like Danny Romanati and cricket.
- 22:42Cricket was. Hot on the Young and the
- 22:43Restless. Cricket was hot.
- 22:44They've both been back on The Young and the Restless.
- 22:47Well, now they're like. Because they just celebrated
- 22:48their 50th anniversary, they're the same age as me, and so
- 22:52they've been having these past characters come back, so it's
- 22:54been kind of nice to. Watch kind of cool.
- 22:57So I mean, I know General Hospital is huge.
- 22:59I never I've I've seen maybe one or two episodes of that, but I
- 23:02yeah, for and it was a big deal. It was interesting when I went
- 23:04to college, Days of Our lives at noon.
- 23:07Everybody would gather in the common area for Days of our
- 23:09lives when I was in college. So good memories.
- 23:12I mean, Days of Our Lives was fine until that whole Marlena
- 23:16got possessed by the devil. I think that's when I kind of
- 23:19was like, yeah, I can deal with people being killed and.
- 23:23Well, even going back to what's the weird 1, the tinny one, I
- 23:26was like, OK, tinny, no. Oh, Santa Barbara, wasn't it?
- 23:29That's Santa Barbara. Yeah, yes, I'm like, OK, creeper
- 23:33tell. Me and Creeper for me.
- 23:34Dad, like I was like, no, thank you.
- 23:38Oh. I'm so yeah, good list for
- 23:40sammies. Very good.
- 23:43So let's see a list for the dumbest shows.
- 23:47So I currently am watching a show that I think is would
- 23:51probably be on this list. And we started watching it I
- 23:55think a few years ago. I got sucked into it.
- 23:58It was probably, you know, when COVID had kind of stopped
- 24:02production of shows and the writers strike and it came up in
- 24:05what, like one of the top 10 things on Netflix to watch it is
- 24:11the Secrets of Skinwalker Ranch. Have you heard about the show?
- 24:14No. It's on The History Channel.
- 24:17This is its sixth season. And I think I came in about
- 24:23Season 3 when I stumbled upon it and I watched all three seasons
- 24:26and then it comes out every time around this time of year, every
- 24:31year. And so I'll give you, here's the
- 24:33overview. I copied it off of IDBM or
- 24:36whatever it's called. OK, so Skinwalker.
- 24:39Skinwalker Ranch and the surrounding area have been
- 24:42referred to as UFO Alley since the 1950s, when numerous
- 24:47anomalous events and strange activity began occurring.
- 24:51A team of scientists and experts conducts a thorough and daring
- 24:55search of the infamous 512 acre property in Utah's Una Tub
- 25:01Basin. Hopefully I said that right.
- 25:03In an attempt to find out the answers behind more than 200
- 25:07years of UFO sightings, strange animal mutations and paranormal
- 25:12related mysteries, scientists use the latest in cutting edge
- 25:17technology like ground penetrating radar and drones to
- 25:22seek shocking discoveries. So it's kind of like the cursive
- 25:26Oak Island. I don't know if you've ever
- 25:27watched that either, which I think is also on The History
- 25:29Channel. You know, like they, they give
- 25:31you like little bits and pieces like, Oh my gosh, we found this,
- 25:34we found this. And but it's it never amounts to
- 25:37anything like nothing like conclusive.
- 25:41That's like ghost hunters or different things like ghost
- 25:43hunters or different things like that.
- 25:45I mean, it's like. But one of the cast members, his
- 25:48name is Travis Taylor and he is so he's southern, he's from
- 25:52Alabama. And so he has like that really
- 25:55like southerly. And when he says like the
- 25:57secrets of scheme Walker Ranch and but he this guy is like he,
- 26:02I think he's like he worked for NASA.
- 26:05He has probably PhDs in like aerospace engineering, I mean
- 26:09all kinds of stuff. So he's super smart and I think
- 26:13he even he may have testified. Remember when Congress had
- 26:17everybody come and testify about UFOs and all that jazz?
- 26:20That was just a few years ago. I think he even mm Hmm.
- 26:24I think he even testified a few years ago.
- 26:26So I I think I just love hearing him.
- 26:29You know, we use the Laddar radar, you know, like he's
- 26:33saying like these big words in like this southern accent.
- 26:37And I think I for some reason I like it.
- 26:40I have no idea why. Like I said, it's probably the
- 26:44dumbest show. How it's around for six seasons,
- 26:47I don't know, but I am invested and so I watch every year, every
- 26:52year. You should just reach you should
- 26:53just reach out to them and see if you'll come on the podcast
- 26:56because we're we're legit. We're a legit podcast.
- 27:00I I always think about when I think people are always
- 27:04surprised by I always joke. I think I'm way more dude than
- 27:09people realize. So for me, when you're talking
- 27:11dumb shows like or things that you consider that.
- 27:14So I like Ice Rd., Truckers, Pawn Stars, Storage Wars.
- 27:19You know, you're like, I love, I do love The History Channel.
- 27:23I love World War Two. There used to be a show on The
- 27:25History Channel called Top Shot where they would compete taking
- 27:28shots with guns and you know, so Yep, so, so marksman, marksman,
- 27:33different things like that. So those kind of things interest
- 27:35me. And then I'm a real nostalgia
- 27:38buff. So the A-Team, Silver Spoons,
- 27:42Family Ties. I mean, I watch across a wide
- 27:47variety and I don't know. I don't know.
- 27:49I don't. I wonder if it's because my
- 27:51childhood was taken from me like Michael Jackson to where I tend
- 27:55to find comfort in those kind of different.
- 27:56I know. I'm just saying those kind of
- 27:58shows. Reliving your childhood.
- 27:59Yeah, well, so it's it's fun to to watch those, those shows and
- 28:04and also I'm big about shows that I could not stay up and
- 28:08watch when I was younger. Yeah.
- 28:10So so I'll go back and watch something as I'll I'll know
- 28:13something as a kid, let's say, let's say it's Three's company
- 28:15or whatever. Now that now you get all the
- 28:17jokes, you get all the jokes. But recently, just for the fun
- 28:20of it, I started watching MacGyver.
- 28:22Oh, I loved MacGyver. Right, right.
- 28:25But, but I never got to really watch.
- 28:26Yeah, I never really got to watch a lot of it as a kid.
- 28:28I mean, I know who MacGyver is, but so, yeah, so I kind of do a
- 28:32little bit more nostalgia. So yeah, I think my, I think my
- 28:35age is showing to where all the hip new shows.
- 28:38I will discover the new hip shows later on after after
- 28:41everybody says, oh it's. After no one is talking about
- 28:43them anymore. Well, there's a good one right
- 28:45now that I'm watching called Blind Spot, where she has all
- 28:48the tattoos. That was on NBC years ago
- 28:53because I think I started watching like season 1 and then
- 28:56just kind of faded out. I never.
- 28:58Yeah, it's really, but it's really.
- 29:00Yeah. But it's an yeah, those kind of
- 29:01things. So to me, I tend to discover.
- 29:03I know about stuff, but then I tend to discover it later.
- 29:05And then I and then I'm always like, why didn't anybody tell me
- 29:08this was a great show? I know, I know, I know.
- 29:15It's it's one of those things when you get when you get done
- 29:17with work or you're done with the job, you just, you want to
- 29:20veg more so than try to think. So when I, so when I do get into
- 29:24shows, like you said, like white Lotus or different, any show
- 29:26that make makes me have to think I'm like, OK, I'll, I'll save
- 29:30this for later. It's too much, too much brain
- 29:32work. I just want some numbing stuff.
- 29:34Right, which for me is like the Real Housewives of like OC or.
- 29:38Beverly Hills. Those are the mind numbing shows
- 29:42I love to watch. So my husband is like, why?
- 29:52I like, I love to see rich people with the same problems.
- 29:57I we love to see rich people with the same problems.
- 30:00Oh my gosh, I but but they're but they're so rich, it doesn't
- 30:05even matter. I mean, yeah.
- 30:07So so, yeah. So outside of let's say Survivor
- 30:11is a great is good reality or fun, We can't can be fun reality
- 30:14TV and that's a hit and miss season.
- 30:17You know, we did have a friend named Michelle that was on
- 30:19Survivor one year. So of course I watched her
- 30:21season. My good friend Faith Martin down
- 30:24here in Tri-cities is on the Bachelor in Paradise coming up
- 30:27here. I think she's on tonight is.
- 30:28She on this one. Yeah, she's on this one.
- 30:31She was on the golden bachelor, right.
- 30:33So if you watch that she came in 3rd.
- 30:35So she's there all the way to the end and they come to the
- 30:37tri-cities. So Oh nice, those are those
- 30:40exceptions were. But for me it's like Meg, my
- 30:44wife Megan is into what love island or what's the one where
- 30:47you're blind like like blind. She loves Oh my God, she'll sit
- 30:52and watch that non what I'm like, really what?
- 30:55I think I watched one season of both of those and then I just,
- 30:58I, I was like, I'm out. I can't but.
- 31:00You're in on the Kardashians. No, I've never watched.
- 31:04I have never ever watched a, a a season, an episode of any of the
- 31:10Kardashians. Oh.
- 31:11Really. Oh well then I'm guilt, I'm
- 31:13guilty. So here's what's interesting
- 31:15years ago for me when those shows came in to to vogue,
- 31:19right. So I I've seen the Kardashians
- 31:22are part of it and then even Ozzy Osbourne.
- 31:24So that because remember, there was a time when reality TV shows
- 31:27were the big were the big. Things the new thing that
- 31:31everybody just. Couldn't.
- 31:31So when I was new, when I was new, I would watch at least a
- 31:35couple episodes of those. So yeah.
- 31:36So I can't lie and say I've never seen an episode of the.
- 31:38Of course I have. And same with a lot of those
- 31:41other shows. Same as The Bachelor.
- 31:43One time The Bachelor had Chicago on the rock band
- 31:47Chicago. So of course I had to watch
- 31:50their performance. So it's like, yeah, if Richard
- 31:52Page or Mr. Mr. was on the Bachelor I or was performing to
- 31:55serenade the couple, I'd be like, OK, where's that at?
- 31:58So I'm guilty, I think which the.
- 31:59Bachelor too, I tried to watch the first season but it's two
- 32:03hours long. That's the other thing if if a
- 32:05show goes over an hour survivor I can hang on for.
- 32:08But right any of them that go 2 hours you have.
- 32:11Lost. Well, even.
- 32:12An hour even from I have checked out.
- 32:14Yeah, even from the show. Like I used to love American
- 32:17Idol, you know, or, or The Voice or the voice, but if you but
- 32:21because it's like 2 hours, right?
- 32:23My brain is like, OK, I and I love seeing those like the
- 32:27recaps on YouTube now. Yeah.
- 32:28I guess it's just the. Watch this person's.
- 32:33I hate how American Idol and the Voice now like they stretch out
- 32:37the teaser for like the last 45 minutes of the show.
- 32:42It's like just get to it already.
- 32:43Like right shit to do. Right, exactly.
- 32:47Like, I know you're just trying to eke out every little last bit
- 32:50you can get out of people, but come on, let's make this an hour
- 32:52show and move on. Now you being from radio should
- 32:55understand time spent listening TSL and I know dragging.
- 32:59Dragging your art. Dragging your audience law along
- 33:02like a dead hooker. Yes, yeah.
- 33:04So that's probably why it agitates me even more because I
- 33:07know what they're doing and it's like.
- 33:09No, I will say, I will say what's interesting about our age
- 33:12because I, I do have a bunch of streaming services.
- 33:14I don't have the Apple one, but I've got everything else is I'm,
- 33:17I'm OK with commercials because we grew up on commercials,
- 33:20right? I'd rather pay 6 bucks for
- 33:22something that has commercials then pay 20 bucks for non
- 33:25commercials. But I know, like I wonder about,
- 33:27I wonder about your kids, Shaylee and all them.
- 33:29Are they dead set about not having commercials in their
- 33:32their streaming? They are used to commercials
- 33:34because of YouTube, because they watch YouTube all the time now.
- 33:38And so they are used to commercials and I watch regular
- 33:42TV that has commercials. So they've been subjected to
- 33:45that all of their life. So they would prefer not to have
- 33:49them, but they're not, you know, it's not a thing for like they
- 33:53could carry their way basically and they're not going to pay
- 33:57extra. Yeah.
- 33:58Oh, well, that's good because there are people that will pay
- 34:01stupid amounts of money not to have commercials.
- 34:03And I'm like, wow. But we grew up on it.
- 34:05So to me it's like it's a normal thing.
- 34:07So I was curious how your kids handled that.
- 34:09Right, yeah, which you don't have Apple TV, which you just
- 34:13said, but I had to renew ours. So we had it to watch Severance.
- 34:19And then when I knew that Murderbot, which is what
- 34:22Alexandra Skarsgard is in, was going to be out, which is it's a
- 34:27sci-fi. It should be something that
- 34:28you'll like. I don't know, it's based off of
- 34:31a book. So I had to renew our
- 34:34subscription. And so I just finished watching
- 34:36that. I think this last week was the
- 34:39the ending episode for that season, but it has been renewed
- 34:42for a second season. Thank you.
- 34:45Yeah, well, I'm super excited. It's your boy.
- 34:47It's your boy. But.
- 34:48But I understand, I understand that.
- 34:51I understand that I've got, I've got my faves where I'll go out
- 34:53of my, you know, we've we've talked about I love Catherine
- 34:55Bell and she was on The Good Witch and Jags.
- 34:58So I'm, and I love Kelly Clarkson.
- 35:00I mean, there's a bunch of folks that I stalk.
- 35:02So I hear you. Yeah.
- 35:04Yeah, which I don't think he's been on a series since True
- 35:07Blood. Like an actual.
- 35:08TV Interesting. I mean he's been in multiple
- 35:10movies but not an actual series series so it's kind of nice to
- 35:14see him. I always I always love it when
- 35:17you see an actor and actress to fame like Skyrocket and then you
- 35:21see him in TV shows, you see him in all these bit parts long
- 35:25before they were famous. So it's always fun to be so
- 35:28you'd be watching an old episode of let's say Seinfeld or friends
- 35:31and go, wait a minute, that's that's Jake Gyllenhaal.
- 35:34You know, it's so you don't or Brad Pitt or whoever and you
- 35:37realize they they're all they're paying their dues.
- 35:40Have you watched? Speaking of Brad Pitt, have you?
- 35:41Seen watched his new movie about the Formula One racing.
- 35:45I have not. I hear it's excellent.
- 35:47I hear it's good, but I've heard my son Benjamin.
- 35:50Who is now totally into Formula One, Formula One racing because
- 35:55of that movie. So I think, I think the I think.
- 35:57What's happened though, I think movies, so I know that horror
- 36:01movies are big these days. I know that superhero movies are
- 36:04big these days. And, and so it's hard to get
- 36:07the, the I, I think the drama is the one that struggles these
- 36:09days to get people to the, to the, the theaters.
- 36:13The back in our day, back in our day, it was Kramer versus
- 36:16Kramer. There was a lot of dramas on,
- 36:17you know, different things like that crazy.
- 36:20But I enjoyed. I mean, if you're talking Ricky
- 36:23Bobby, tally digging night, tally digging night, Will
- 36:26Ferrell, that was my racing movie car racing.
- 36:29Yeah, there's my racing. There's my racing.
- 36:31Movie so how I mean honestly, how often do you go to the
- 36:35movies anymore because everybody's waiting for
- 36:37streaming these days I really when we talk about that video
- 36:40video killed the radio star I'm streaming killed the movie star
- 36:45Oh yeah I really. They just accelerated.
- 36:48It. Oh, absolutely.
- 36:50I I think the. Majority of people now are like,
- 36:52I'll just wait till streaming. I'll just wait till streaming.
- 36:54And I think they and I think that the the companies also shot
- 36:57themselves in the foot by doing same day during the pandemic.
- 37:00Yeah, but. But I mean, they didn't really
- 37:02have a choice back. No, they didn't.
- 37:03But I but I understand. You know, I understand why the
- 37:06people are like, no, now I'll just wait for it.
- 37:09It, it. And so very seldom does a movie
- 37:11come along where I'm like, oh, I got to go see I got to go see
- 37:14that. But there but there are cinema
- 37:16files like our friend Dave Edel that will go to IMAX to see F1.
- 37:22So my my my Co worker drove the Spokane to go see Superman on
- 37:26the IMAX. So I.
- 37:29Mean that's cool. It is cool.
- 37:31But I'm not I'm. Not that obsessed about
- 37:33anything, right? I think I've ever seen a movie
- 37:36on the IMAX. So, Megan.
- 37:37And I went, Megan and I went. To see Dune on IMAX because
- 37:40that's more of a Megan movie. Because she loves the book.
- 37:45My wife is way. My wife is way more about books
- 37:49than that become movies that she's read.
- 37:53I mean, there have been. Movies that I have read the book
- 37:561st and then they are made into a movie and a lot of times it's
- 38:00usually disappointing, you know, like the book was better or they
- 38:04left out a bunch of thing. Obviously a movie has to be an
- 38:08hour and a half hour long compared to this book.
- 38:12And so they have to cut things out.
- 38:13I get it. But sometimes I feel like, well,
- 38:17you just cut out a huge piece of this book and now it's kind of
- 38:20wonky in the movie because it it just doesn't make sense.
- 38:25So I feel like that has been a struggle for me.
- 38:28When I read books and then they come out as a movie, it's
- 38:31disappointing. So how interesting.
- 38:34Yeah, I don't. Read so she feels the same way
- 38:36so. I have to ask her.
- 38:38I have to ask. Her about that, she always, she
- 38:40doesn't give me a lot of crap. It's so funny is she says I
- 38:44don't read real books because because of comic books.
- 38:48I'm like, what are you talking? About.
- 38:52And so I'm not real books, though.
- 38:55Well, it's I, I can, I can read, I can sit down and read a book.
- 39:00And I have, but I am much more of a so I'll be watching
- 39:04something or I'll be thinking of something and go, oh, I want to
- 39:06know more about that. And then I'll go Google it.
- 39:09So so I'm much. More.
- 39:11And she always jokes. Note everything's on Wikipedia,
- 39:15so we go. Round and round about those
- 39:16little. Things, but so if I so if I see
- 39:18something interest me, I'm like, oh, what is that?
- 39:20I'm going to go, I'm going to, I'm going to go read about the
- 39:21Titanic. Now.
- 39:23I've read a lot about the Titanic, but I've never sat down
- 39:26and read a thick book about the Titanic.
- 39:28I read it in little excerpts, little excerpts.
- 39:32So I love. Lafayette, who was not one of
- 39:36our founding fathers because he was from France, obviously, but
- 39:41I, I couldn't get into reading his autobiography.
- 39:44So instead I did listening to his autobiography and that was
- 39:48much better. I feel like when the books are
- 39:51kind of slow to start or have those weird areas to them where
- 39:55you just can't stay engaged reading.
- 39:57So audio books have been great because.
- 40:01When I was going back and forth to Yakima, one of the the
- 40:05engineer gave me an audio book of Lewis and Clark in the
- 40:07expedition. So I popped that in and I so
- 40:10did. Did Rick read the book?
- 40:14Well, I can tell you that the dog's name was.
- 40:16Seamus and how you know all these different things about you
- 40:18know, into the book so and I you.
- 40:21Know if we retain some of that information?
- 40:23Well, the dog's name was. Seaman, I'm sorry, it wasn't
- 40:26Seamus, it was Seaman. So for me that was real easy to,
- 40:28that was really easy to of course, of course it was.
- 40:35I'm just saying little thing and you say that.
- 40:39Megan and Kyron and them have the sense of humor of a 12.
- 40:43Year old boy. Not me.
- 40:47I won't let it show Mr. Goody. 2 shoes, that's what.
- 40:52I'm going to call you from now on, right?
- 40:55Absolutely. That's all right.
- 40:57Well, since we're talking about. Washed up TV shows and
- 41:00personalities we could transition to Tori spelling.
- 41:04Yeah, what's going on with now? Now for me, Tori Spelling is a
- 41:06train wreck. That was one show back in the
- 41:08day. Beverly Hills 9O21.
- 41:10OII watched that. I watched Melrose Place.
- 41:13Me too. Yeah.
- 41:14So. I mean so and again it goes it.
- 41:16Goes back to that was a social thing at that time, those shows
- 41:21were the hottest things on TV and, you know, and we were and
- 41:25we were. Yeah.
- 41:26And we were in our 20s. I was, gosh, I was, you know, I
- 41:29was 20 years old. So of course you watched.
- 41:31You watched 9O21-O and you watched Melrose Place.
- 41:34Yeah. Jamie Walters.
- 41:35Came to the fair, you were not at 1, not there, but I do know
- 41:39who you. Yeah, right.
- 41:40This is before you. He.
- 41:41Performed and I have a poster. I think I still have it
- 41:44somewhere. Probably packed away in my
- 41:46radio. Crap.
- 41:47He hurt. He hurt Donna.
- 41:48He. Pushed Donna down.
- 41:49This is before. This is before he.
- 41:51Became they wrote him in as a jerk.
- 41:56Ray Pruitt. His character was Ray.
- 41:58Pruitt so good memory. Ray Pruitt, that's.
- 42:02What his character? 'S name was.
- 42:04I asked. Her if he could, because he's.
- 42:05Like, well, what? What's your name?
- 42:07What do you want me? You know, what?
- 42:08Do you want me to ride on it? And I was like, can you write?
- 42:10Will you marry me? And did he do it?
- 42:13Yes. He did.
- 42:15I like I said, I have it somewhere still because I'm
- 42:18holding on to this. I mean, so he was in a show so
- 42:21before. Beverly Hills 9O21-O He was in a
- 42:24series called The Heights and how do you talk to an Angel Is
- 42:26that big song. So for me, that's my Jamie
- 42:29Walters song is How do you talk to an Angel?
- 42:32I know Hold On was a big hit, number one hit, but yeah, he was
- 42:35in this musical series called The Heights.
- 42:37And so. But I hear what you're saying.
- 42:40I hear what you're saying. And have you seen him these
- 42:42days? I've seen, I've seen him, I
- 42:45think. Entertainment Tonight or Extra
- 42:47something did something about him years ago, but he's not even
- 42:51acting. Isn't he?
- 42:52Like, no, he's a firefighter, Yeah.
- 42:54He's like a policeman and he has like 3 kids.
- 42:56And he's married and he hardly has he left and he's bald and.
- 42:59He's bald, but I mean, that's OK, there's nothing wrong being
- 43:02bald. I'm just saying that yes, he
- 43:03doesn't. He's still a good, good looking
- 43:05guy. I mean, for his age he's still a
- 43:07good looking dude. But yeah, he's totally not.
- 43:09Not what? Not what he used to look like.
- 43:12OK, well, let's get on to what? Tori Spelling did so.
- 43:15She had her old. Breast.
- 43:17Implants removed. And this was when she was still
- 43:20married to Dee McDermott or whatever the hell his name is.
- 43:25And so she asked the doctor if she could keep them, which is
- 43:30highly unlikely that they will let you keep them, but this
- 43:33doctor did. So he gave her her old breast
- 43:37implants back and she had them made into bookends for their
- 43:42anniversary and gave them to her husband.
- 43:46Yes. So her all the breast implants
- 43:50are these book heads which I know like when you die, like
- 43:54they take them out and I have them So when you.
- 43:58Die. Well, especially if I'm going to
- 44:00be. Cremated.
- 44:01Because they don't want that, like, you know, yeah, whatever
- 44:04they are. Saline.
- 44:05Saline gel. Saline.
- 44:07That's right. Thank you.
- 44:08Saline. Yeah.
- 44:08There's different ones, so there's the.
- 44:10Saline and there's the gel ones and so usually which they also
- 44:14take out like any metal that you had before they So if you've got
- 44:17braces or you've got braces. Your braces are coming off
- 44:20basically or like a hip replacement.
- 44:23Or whatever it is they they remove.
- 44:26All that stuff before they. Send you in the incinerator.
- 44:28And so I was joking with Shaylee one day because she was talking
- 44:33about this like, oh, well, you know, they're going to remove
- 44:35your breast implants. Oh, I was telling her that I
- 44:37wanted to be cremated. That's how we got on this rabbit
- 44:40subject. And she's like, well, they're
- 44:42going to remove your breast implants.
- 44:44And I said, well, they could just give them to you.
- 44:45Then like, here you go and bookends, here's your mom.
- 44:48'S boobs. It's right.
- 44:49There so and make it A and make it a book.
- 44:52I don't think she wants. Bookends what's wrong with
- 44:55what's OK? What's wrong with Tori's
- 44:57spelling? I mean, now I.
- 45:00Do know I knew I. Know that Daddy shut her out of
- 45:04all that did this because she did this.
- 45:06Or just in general, what's wrong?
- 45:08Well, I, I, I feel OK. I do feel bad for for Tori
- 45:12Spelling and and then her brothers Randy, who's actually
- 45:16very normal. I actually follow Randy on
- 45:18Instagram because he's yeah, I do.
- 45:20I I follow Randy Spelling and he's pretty normal for the most
- 45:24part. But what, what's interesting
- 45:26about that whole thing was Aaron Spelling was like the richest
- 45:30guy in Hollywood. Like the, the house was 150.
- 45:34I mean, the house was insane. It had, it had a candy store in
- 45:38there. It had a might as well had a
- 45:39McDonald's. The list goes on and on.
- 45:41And he didn't leave them. He left them each like $800,000
- 45:46like the kids gave it all to candy, the wife, the widow for
- 45:51everything. And I'm not, and I'm not saying
- 45:53that every kid deserves to get the wealth of their parents, but
- 45:56I think, I think number one, I think Tori Spellings is a mad
- 46:00spender. She's crazy so and she gets and
- 46:04she's always in trouble with with the IRS and all these
- 46:06different things that she hasn't paid her bills and she lives a
- 46:09lifestyle that she pretty much can't afford.
- 46:12I think that's an objection of her dad.
- 46:15Probably, Probably. Hurt her a little.
- 46:17Bit. Oh yeah.
- 46:19Definitely. But yeah, like her, like you
- 46:22said, their mom got all the money.
- 46:24Like I know. And I wasn't there a huge fight
- 46:29between her and her mom. I'm guessing you'd speak.
- 46:33Yeah. Go ahead.
- 46:34No. They, they were estranged
- 46:35absolutely. So when he so when the dad
- 46:37passed away, they were estranged basically.
- 46:39Well, I thought it was because of like who?
- 46:40She her husband or ex-husband, I wouldn't be surprised.
- 46:44I would not be surprised. Multiple things kind of
- 46:48compounding on each other that yeah, they had a huge falling
- 46:52out and it was never really repaired, which is unfortunate
- 46:55because Tori has what, 5-6 kids and, well, so I, so I compared.
- 46:59Dean McDermott to Kevin, Kevin Federline, like really freaking
- 47:04what they call it a succubus or whatever.
- 47:05That's just fucking Dean has been in a few.
- 47:08More movies and Kevin has been in music videos or had get it
- 47:11but. You know, but when?
- 47:13I read stories about Britney I. And I do follow Britney on
- 47:15Instagram because most of the time she's naked.
- 47:17Me too because she's naked. Most of the time.
- 47:19But, but I but I do watch her conversations.
- 47:22I do watch her conversations and some of the things that I what I
- 47:25do think is disgust. OK, I don't know if we've ever
- 47:28talked about this. I think it's disgusting when
- 47:31someone takes advantage of somebody's else's wealth.
- 47:34Oh, yeah. So, so.
- 47:36So I was reading about Kevin Federline and all of what he
- 47:40gets. It's insane.
- 47:42Same as the Kevin Costner divorce.
- 47:44I'm not saying now they have millions, you should get part of
- 47:48the millions, however, but the ridiculousness of like the Kevin
- 47:51Costner wife was like I need to live in the same manner that he
- 47:55does like my my level of living. So I'm divorcing.
- 47:59So I'm divorcing Kevin Costner even though I had a an affair
- 48:02with the personal trainer. I'm divorcing Kevin Costner, but
- 48:06but my lifestyle does not. Yeah, and I need to.
- 48:09Continue that same lifestyle right because he because that's
- 48:13because. That's what I'm accustomed to
- 48:15and the courts go OK what? So it depends on if that spouse.
- 48:20Has the kids too relative to you know, and that and that's why
- 48:24custody. Of their kids so.
- 48:26OK, how much money do they need? That's, I guess that's the
- 48:30question, because that's that's the insanity is the amounts that
- 48:33they ask for rape. You know 120. 5 million, I mean
- 48:37125 or 125,000 a month for child support.
- 48:42What I mean, they have to pay for their four.
- 48:44Nannies and you know that's it and that's it.
- 48:46They don't even they technically.
- 48:47They don't even raise the kids. And the and the wife who
- 48:49divorced, Kevin Costner, still want to live in the same Malibu.
- 48:53Well, I need to live in the same Malibu neighborhood, so he needs
- 48:57to cover my mortgage. You cheated.
- 49:00You cheated. I mean, you should have had a
- 49:03prenup. I and and again.
- 49:06When it comes to men, I do believe men are not held as
- 49:09accountable as women are or in in situations.
- 49:13So I am not taking a trust me when you're listening to this
- 49:15podcast, I'm not taking a man's side.
- 49:18You got kids, you step up, you take care of business, period.
- 49:21I think, I think men get away with, I think men get away with
- 49:23murder. Basically, when it comes to
- 49:24child support, taking care of their kids, who you, you got to
- 49:28step up and be be the man. And so but you see these crazy
- 49:32stories or going even going back to the Kelly Clarkson divorce,
- 49:35you know, my, my, my crush, like they got a divorce and Brandon
- 49:40Blackwell or whatever his name is.
- 49:41And yeah, I need. I need the ranch.
- 49:44And the list just I need 30 million.
- 49:46It was just insane. And they go because she has it.
- 49:50And going back to Natalie Mains, the Dixie Chicks, she was
- 49:53married to Adrian Pasdar, I believe, and and she he tried to
- 49:58take her because they live in California.
- 50:01She he took her to the clean to the cleaners and said and he's
- 50:04an actor. He's an actor goes well, but
- 50:07she's the one who provided my lifestyle.
- 50:10So I want to go. I want a vacation in Cabo and
- 50:13without her paying it for it, I can't do these things.
- 50:16What's that kind of that is that?
- 50:18Is playing out right now with Denise Richards.
- 50:20Have you read about that? No, her husband.
- 50:23Her husband. Erin filed for divorce, which
- 50:26she was on Real Housewives of Yeah.
- 50:30And then she had her own TV show that.
- 50:32I just watched this past season or whatever, but she said back
- 50:37when she was on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, how you know
- 50:39they're never going to get divorced, blah, blah, blah,
- 50:41blah, blah. And so when I read this, I was
- 50:44like, what? But he's asking for like
- 50:47hundreds of thousands of dollars in support like you're talking
- 50:50about. You know he's saying you spend
- 50:5320. $1000 a month on. Groceries and right, right, like
- 50:57this stuff and this, this. Cannot this the insanity makes
- 51:01no sense to me. I'm not saying, you know, well,
- 51:04I earn my I earn my keep, OK, blah, blah, blah.
- 51:06But I just I just I have never understood that mentality.
- 51:11So off the soapbox. I fell off the soapbox.
- 51:15Prenups, people. Get iron.
- 51:18Well, well, I'm a DJ, so. I got I got no money so I've got
- 51:21no money so I never have to worry about that, but I will.
- 51:24I will give my ex-wife credit Pokey.
- 51:27She didn't take the comic book collection, not that it was
- 51:28worth that much, but she didn't she she could have been mean and
- 51:33sell it and split them. Yeah.
- 51:35Yeah, but she didn't do. She didn't.
- 51:36Do any of those things. She she got what she asked for.
- 51:38She says I want this and I said OK and we could that we could
- 51:43talk forever about that big blunder, that big mistake.
- 51:46Yeah, I could do a whole therapy session for you on that
- 51:48particular situation. Maybe we'll get biggest regret
- 51:51of. Biggest regret of my life.
- 51:54Well, but you wouldn't have phoned Megan.
- 51:55So it's fine. Well, that's what Megan says.
- 51:57Because when I came into. Megan with the relation with
- 51:59Megan, I'm like, hey, man, I got, I got all this baggage, I
- 52:02got all this luggage. And she and, and she was funny
- 52:06about that. She's like, well, you know, now
- 52:08I don't think she thinks that today because now we've been
- 52:10together 17 years. But but at the beginning she's
- 52:13like, well, but I got you now. I think she could kick me to the
- 52:16curb and not lose an ounce of sleep on that situation.
- 52:18I don't know about you and Jay, but yeah, Megan could kick me to
- 52:21the I know she could. She she don't need me, you know,
- 52:25But I've always been hyper. Independent and so I think that
- 52:28like how we grew up, we talked about in past episodes where
- 52:31I've had to take care of my brother, my little brother,
- 52:34myself. And so you become hyper
- 52:36independent and that translate, you know, that goes with you
- 52:40into adulthood. And so I as a person am
- 52:44independent and I like my time to myself, which again, my
- 52:48husband is gone during the week and and this is been our what
- 52:52our life has been what 30 some years now.
- 52:55He's either travelled for his. Job or.
- 52:57Worked away and some of my friends in the beginning would
- 53:01say well how do? You.
- 53:03How do you do it? Don't you miss him?
- 53:07I'm like. I'm like, no.
- 53:09I'm like, no, it gives me my time, my time that I need for
- 53:15myself. And then when he comes home on
- 53:18the weekends, we don't fight about stupid stuff.
- 53:20We don't fight about the things that, you know, a couple who
- 53:23would fight about to see each other every day like we do do
- 53:26the dishes or take off the garbage or blow.
- 53:28You know, you're just so fight over that because you have this
- 53:30short amount of time together and you realize that this is
- 53:34stupid. We're not going to fight about
- 53:35it. And you just make the best of
- 53:37the time that you have. So, so there you go.
- 53:40That's my two cents. So I I like.
- 53:43That I think, yes, if I, I think if I wasn't here and just paid
- 53:46Megan's bills, that'd be, she'd be happy with that.
- 53:48But I'm not, I'm not that wealthy.
- 53:51I have to, I have to live here too.
- 53:52But her big thing more than anything else is everything has
- 53:55its place and I've and through the years I've tried.
- 53:57I am now though. I've tried to do better.
- 54:00I've tried to do. Better.
- 54:01I'm not perfect, but I've tried to do better and just never.
- 54:04I always joke. I just don't ever say I'm I
- 54:06what? What was it that happened?
- 54:07Oh, OK, here's the situation. What drives her nuts is so she
- 54:15was at the sink and she was washing a dish or she was
- 54:18loading the dishwasher and I had my plate behind her.
- 54:22So I waited. I waited behind her and she got
- 54:27upset. She gets upset with me because,
- 54:29you know, you could tell me to move.
- 54:31I'm like, no, I can wait. I can wait.
- 54:33And she gets fury infuriated because I will if she if, if
- 54:37she's doing something, I won't interfere.
- 54:41Like I won't, I won't, I won't go excuse me, right.
- 54:45You try to not be. Seen you try to yes and that
- 54:49drive. Me yes and and she hates that
- 54:52infuriates her that I tried to be how I was raised like oh
- 54:58she's ahead of me that's what I was going to say it's.
- 55:00It's just based off of but she but she hates it.
- 55:03She. Would she, you know, she because
- 55:05I don't push her aside and go excuse me?
- 55:09So if I anyone would do that though.
- 55:11So, well, yeah, but. So, yeah, so that's so.
- 55:16But that I'm like, I'm just trying to and oh, and and she
- 55:19got mad at me about it. And she goes, oh, she goes, it
- 55:21pisses me off. And I said, well, it's going to
- 55:23be a long 25 years, you know, Only that pisses her.
- 55:26Off Oh no, the list is long. But that's like the main one.
- 55:30No, that's one of them, but. Here's the deal about being
- 55:33married, and I do believe this. Our relationships and you and I
- 55:36have talked about this. Believe it or not, I do have a
- 55:39theory that we are all married to the same person.
- 55:42They're just in different rappers.
- 55:44They're just in different rappers.
- 55:46That's all. Because once, because I remember
- 55:50that our good buddy Dave Edel, who's married to Sarah, who's
- 55:52very beautiful, and our buddy Jack, our buddy Jack is like, Oh
- 55:55my God, she's the most gorgeous woman on the planet.
- 55:58You know his tongue, Sarah. Edel, Sarah Edel, right?
- 56:04And and Dave said one day about Sarah said no matter how
- 56:09beautiful they are, someones tired of their shit.
- 56:11I. Mean that's true and that's on
- 56:16the flip side for them too I'm. Sure, Sarah gets tired of his.
- 56:19I'm sure Sarah has started up Dave's shit as well.
- 56:21But but I, I love those things because I'm like, yeah, so you
- 56:25and I have talked a lot about, oh, the grass is greener over
- 56:27there. It's dirt brown.
- 56:29It's dirt because you're going to OK at the beginning.
- 56:32What you think you're missing is those butterflies in that old,
- 56:35you know, like you know that that romance, but then you're
- 56:39going to quickly settle in and five year we've talked.
- 56:44It's a rarity. It's not to say that it's just
- 56:45you know, everybody, everybody's marriage is different to some
- 56:48extent, but on the other side it even when I talked to I saw
- 56:53Micah a couple months back. We were talking and man, am I
- 56:57getting too personal now, but he was talking back.
- 57:00These these people are going he. Goes gosh, you know, because
- 57:03he's got he's. Got a, he's got a, he's got a
- 57:04daughter and he's got a stepson. He's got a dog.
- 57:07And he was talking about, man, I can't, I can't get any romance
- 57:10time with with my wife. And I'm like, I don't have any
- 57:15of those things and I can't get any romance time with my wife
- 57:19because. Because there comes a.
- 57:21Point where you've been together so long that that that you don't
- 57:24get any romance. You don't get any romance time.
- 57:26And my son, my son Logan is hilarious because he's his
- 57:29girlfriend, her girl, his girlfriend's name is Julia.
- 57:32So it's Logan and Julia. And the hilarity is Logan would
- 57:36stay with us on occasion with Julia and they'd be all entwined
- 57:39watching a movie. Oh, it's so right.
- 57:41I love a movie, you know. And and so Logan one time came
- 57:46in goes because I don't think you have a good relationship
- 57:47with Megan. He goes, he goes, you don't even
- 57:51go nearer. You guys don't even act like
- 57:53you're married. And I said that's called
- 57:55marriage. That's 17 years.
- 58:00That's called marriage. That's called.
- 58:02Marriage. He goes, he goes, no, we're not
- 58:04trying to gobble each other up like, you know, newlyweds or
- 58:08well, I just, I just can't breathe.
- 58:10I can't breathe without without. I'm like, come on, So Logan's
- 58:14going to kill me now that but he is.
- 58:17But he's like. So I but I.
- 58:19Just make the joke. I'm like, it's called marriage.
- 58:21So 30 years, 30 years, come see me. 30 years down the road, I
- 58:24will still be alive. Come see me.
- 58:26And I want to see if you're all entwined, like let's watch a
- 58:29movie. I mean, I feel like that.
- 58:31You know, butterflies and that kind of stuff.
- 58:33Like what you talked about. Sure, yes, that kind of wanes,
- 58:37but there are still little moments.
- 58:40Like somebody commented like Jay and I still hold hands.
- 58:43And yeah, that was behind. I think it was like one of our
- 58:46friends or something like, oh, you guys still hold hands and
- 58:48it's like, well, yeah, like, don't you like.
- 58:50I thought that was like weird that, you know, they didn't.
- 58:54And so there's still pieces of it.
- 58:57It's just not you just grow into your relationship and who you
- 59:01are as people and you grow together.
- 59:02Oh no, there's the, there's the. There's, there's wonderful
- 59:05moments with my wife that I, that I, you know, I, I, I love.
- 59:08I remember going to a Christmas party one year at the Town
- 59:11Square Media and Megan was there.
- 59:13We were, I think twigs or whatever.
- 59:15And Dave Edel, no, I just talked about with his wife, Sarah.
- 59:19Megan was talking to a bunch of people and he just goes, man, he
- 59:21goes. Megan just really lights up the
- 59:23room. She's just one of those people
- 59:25that lights up the room. And I thought, I look over at my
- 59:27wife and I'm like, oh, she does light up the room.
- 59:29Or who? Do you know that?
- 59:31Of course you know. You, but you forget.
- 59:33Come on, you forget what you have right?
- 59:36And it makes it. It brings it back into focus for
- 59:40you when other people recognize it, right?
- 59:43Well. And I saw her because we take
- 59:44it, we take each other for granted.
- 59:46Dan Yes, yes, because. I and I just saw her recently.
- 59:49She I had to MC an event for her with the Sir Optimus here in
- 59:53Tri-City and she's the she was the president and she was
- 59:55stepping down. She's done her tenure, but she
- 59:58got up there and gave this amazing speech and it's one of
- 1:00:00those, you know, but but see, that's my problem is I when I
- 1:00:04see that I just want to RIP their clothes off.
- 1:00:05It's it's no, there's no in between.
- 1:00:08But I admire my wife. I yeah, when my wife, when my
- 1:00:11wife wears a dress, she's very attractive.
- 1:00:14And so she does not like, she does not like the fact that I
- 1:00:18want to put my hands all over her because she's I'm like, but
- 1:00:21you're hot right now. Great, so you're saying she
- 1:00:27should be? Thankful for that.
- 1:00:29Well, but oh, she hates it. She.
- 1:00:31Hates it. Oh God, she hates it.
- 1:00:34I've tried to help you. We need.
- 1:00:35We need to. We need to.
- 1:00:36Do a whole show on predictability, she says.
- 1:00:40I am the most predictable person that on she knows exactly what
- 1:00:44I'm going to do. Like I try, I try not to be.
- 1:00:47Is does does Jay does? Do you feel that way about Jay?
- 1:00:52Yes, he is very. Predictable where I feel like I
- 1:00:55it's harder for you touching your hair and.
- 1:00:58Your shoulder and you're like, okay, I know where this is
- 1:01:00going. Like, I know, I know, like.
- 1:01:02You know the moves and so it's like, yes, okay, but then I'm
- 1:01:06like, but what do you want? Me to do because, well, you can
- 1:01:10be spontaneous and romantic. I'm trying.
- 1:01:12What are you talking about? You're like, you put the dress
- 1:01:15on, isn't this? Right, right.
- 1:01:17Exactly. You know, but so she's so a
- 1:01:19great example is if we her biggest frustration is if we do
- 1:01:23date night, she says there's an. Expectation.
- 1:01:26On date night? As far as what?
- 1:01:29What? What is that?
- 1:01:31What you do something? No, it has to be.
- 1:01:35Romantic. Well, no, no, no, no, not for
- 1:01:38her. So, so a great example is so as
- 1:01:42a man, as a man on your anniversary and on your
- 1:01:46birthday, right? What?
- 1:01:49What do men? Expect I'm just throwing it out
- 1:01:52there. You could.
- 1:01:53I mean, maybe this is too personal, but let's the initials
- 1:01:56are AB. And AJ, is that correct?
- 1:01:59Well, that doesn't have to be that.
- 1:02:01Doesn't have to be that, but just sex in general.
- 1:02:04Wow. That's all you're asking for
- 1:02:05here. I'm showing for the stars.
- 1:02:07Well, I know that that other thing's good too.
- 1:02:09But but the funny, but I'm just saying though, she's like, but
- 1:02:13she's like, why can't we just go to dinner, you know, and, and we
- 1:02:16can and as she says, we can snuggle or we can, we can
- 1:02:20snuggle and watch ATV show. And if something happens, great.
- 1:02:23No, no, if something happens, great.
- 1:02:26But if it doesn't, you can't. Yeah, so.
- 1:02:30Have you ever come across those that that that situation?
- 1:02:33Like that's how made, but that's how Megan is.
- 1:02:36So it's like, so I'm like, I don't know what to do.
- 1:02:38I'm like, I don't know what to do.
- 1:02:40Oh gosh, yeah, that's right. And then?
- 1:02:41And then if I just try to ignore.
- 1:02:43Her for like weeks at a time in terms of that she she showed
- 1:02:46that's that's that's vacation for her there's.
- 1:02:50Yeah, there's gonna be upset. I thought she was going to be
- 1:02:53upset. Because you know you're not
- 1:02:55trying to make the moves on her, which means you know you're if I
- 1:02:58if I never made a move. On her her life would be great,
- 1:03:01she would be fine, but in the. Beginning, but in the beginning
- 1:03:04it was. Different.
- 1:03:05So I look back at my Facebook memories, all the nice things
- 1:03:09she used to say about me and not not.
- 1:03:12Anymore. Not well, I mean, I know.
- 1:03:14She I know she loves me. I know that but but so anybody
- 1:03:18got any good advice let me know because I I must I must I must
- 1:03:22suck at being married or something.
- 1:03:24I think. I think we should have a
- 1:03:25marriage. Counselor on before we have we
- 1:03:27should the interesting. Thing is but when I but then
- 1:03:30when I hear Micah talk about it and he's in the same boat, I'm
- 1:03:33like OK I don't feel too bad. I feel like this is a common.
- 1:03:37Running theme for married couples like you know you guys
- 1:03:40are not the only two with this issue right right and I think
- 1:03:44it's and. I think it's one way or the
- 1:03:46other. I think.
- 1:03:46I think it's flip flop. Sometimes it's the woman,
- 1:03:48sometimes it's the man. Brain so.
- 1:03:52And it. Depends, especially for.
- 1:03:53US women, depending on where we are in our lives.
- 1:03:56So if we're talking, you know, early 20s, yes, we have those
- 1:04:00hormones and we want to have sex all the time.
- 1:04:03And then once you start to have kids and get super focused on
- 1:04:07that, not so much. And then when we start to hit
- 1:04:10the older age, when we're, we're really more confident in our
- 1:04:14skin and then we are all, all those hormones start peeing
- 1:04:17around again and then we want sex all the time.
- 1:04:20So for women, I feel like it's a little bit different because
- 1:04:22we're going through those different seasons of life.
- 1:04:25Interesting and everything. Changes for.
- 1:04:27Us, especially relative to our hormones, and so that can really
- 1:04:31dictate where we are for us. So it sounds like Megan has not
- 1:04:36hit that. I'm waiting for the what?
- 1:04:39Is it the the golden bachelor or the golden The golden oldies
- 1:04:42tour? Waiting for the golden.
- 1:04:44She's 10 years younger so I I guess I got to wait for the
- 1:04:46Golden Oldies tour. Not that old, I mean.
- 1:04:49You know, once she starts, usually it's 40s, fifties ish
- 1:04:55when women start to hit that peak of our hormones.
- 1:05:00But the good news again, I know I'm not.
- 1:05:01Alone, not alone in that particular situation, but we but
- 1:05:05we laugh because she, I mean, at least I laugh.
- 1:05:07I don't. I don't think she laughs.
- 1:05:08But she goes you're as predict that you're just as predictable.
- 1:05:12Last thing. Yeah, I'm like, well, wouldn't
- 1:05:15you rather see me coming? That's what I was going to say,
- 1:05:18at least. She.
- 1:05:19Knows if she could prepare we go oh here we go right exactly I
- 1:05:23mean. Come on, I mean, wouldn't you
- 1:05:24write? Yeah, when?
- 1:05:25And anyway, So yeah, it's a it's a we could do a whole therapy
- 1:05:29session on that stuff. We need to get, we need to get a
- 1:05:31marriage counselor in here to be hilarious.
- 1:05:33Definitely. It would probably take more.
- 1:05:35Than an hour though be like, Oh yeah, we could sit.
- 1:05:39Well, unpack, unpack it all series.
- 1:05:41Well, we we should do an episode about love language because my
- 1:05:45as Megan tells me so I will do the dishes.
- 1:05:48I will do all these chores. Chores.
- 1:05:50It's called chore play. And she goes.
- 1:05:52That's not my love. Language SO, so, so yeah, we go
- 1:05:58around and around because I'm like, but look at me I, I did
- 1:06:00the dishes I, I cleaned the house I'm I'm ready.
- 1:06:03That's not my she goes. That's not my she goes, that's
- 1:06:06not my love language. So yeah.
- 1:06:10All right, Well, we were going to talk.
- 1:06:11I was going to ask you about Jeffrey Epstein when we're
- 1:06:14already at. Oh, yeah.
- 1:06:15We'll talk about that next time. Yeah.
- 1:06:17Maybe. I mean, we'll see.
- 1:06:18What's going on next week? I guess the question does it
- 1:06:21exist? Or does it not exist?
- 1:06:23So that's the question. That's that's a whole other.
- 1:06:26Hour that we can dive into for next week.
- 1:06:29So I mean we'll see. I think you got, I think you got
- 1:06:32a lot. I think you got a lot out this
- 1:06:34week for sure. Like, gosh.
- 1:06:36Got to give got. To give this one a thumbs down
- 1:06:39for this week's episode. Thumbs down on it, Yeah, but.
- 1:06:43I'm sorry. I apologize.
- 1:06:46I apologize to Megan. I apologize to Jay.
- 1:06:48I apologize to Sarah. Oh my gosh.
- 1:06:52Everyone did I did I name. Drop way too much.
- 1:06:54Yes, yes, I always stop. OK, stop.
- 1:06:58Doing that, cut that stuff out I.
- 1:07:00Mean hopefully they won't set. Us a cease and desist and I love
- 1:07:04you all. I know.
- 1:07:08Thank you to everyone for listening to Rick and that
- 1:07:10Michelle chick.
