Speaker 1: on these days that are holy leading to the crucifixion

Speaker 1: and then leading to the resurrection of our Lord and savior,

Speaker 1: the scriptures to know what Jesus was doing during the week. Amen,

Speaker 1: on his way to the cross, Holy Monday, Jesus cleanses

Speaker 1: the temple, and man, there's a lot here. You could

Speaker 1: call it a figure of speech, you could call it

Speaker 1: a metaphor. Amen, but let's call it what Jesus says

Speaker 1: in his scripture, in his word. Let's quote the Lord,

Speaker 1: to just think about this, thinking clearly of what Jesus said.

Speaker 1: Matthew chapter number and I didn't put the verse up,

Speaker 1: but it's Matthew, chapter number twenty one, Verse number thirteen.

Speaker 1: Jesus said to them, this is the Lord speaking. It

Speaker 1: is written in scripture. My house shall be called a

Speaker 1: house of prayer, but you are making it a robber's den.

Speaker 1: Now you might be saying, what house is it? Can

Speaker 1: you imagine if Jesus was saying, this is just me.

Speaker 1: I'm just taking liberty right now, Thank you Lord for

Speaker 1: the freedom you give us. Imagine that God is saying

Speaker 1: there's a house that could be built with human hands

Speaker 1: that he will be residing in, and that he'll call

Speaker 1: that house. Whatever we built will be the house of prayer.

Speaker 1: And then if we build it, it's also could be

Speaker 1: turned into a robber's dan, a den of thieves. You

Speaker 1: think that the Lord here I was Jesus, our Lord,

Speaker 1: our Savior, is really talking about a structure, or you

Speaker 1: think he's talking about us. Think about it closely. Is

Speaker 1: God's House a building? Or is god House a temple

Speaker 1: that holy ghosts lives inside of? And we are the temples?

Speaker 1: Could it be that we are the temple of the

Speaker 1: Lord Jesus. Amen, there's a cross reference here Isaiah fifty

Speaker 1: and Jeremiah chapter number seven, verse number eleven. Amen. So

Speaker 1: that's interesting that the Lord would say that. It's interesting

Speaker 1: that he would speak that to the people of his time, Amen,

Speaker 1: the people who were in the synagogue at the time,

Speaker 1: the people who were the religious leaders of his time.

Speaker 1: Could it be that he was not talking about the

Speaker 1: structure that they were worshiping in, but he was talking

Speaker 1: about the people that he will be living inside of.

Speaker 1: Holy Spirit to work out. But all of it I

Speaker 1: know through this all I know that we're clean and

Speaker 1: close by way of Holy Spirit. Jesus says it is

Speaker 1: written in scriptures, so he's already established. He's making that

Speaker 1: very clear. That it's already written. This is going to

Speaker 1: Word of God is written, The scriptures are already there

Speaker 1: a man, and the Word of God never returns back

Speaker 1: attempt right now to go to Isaiah fifty six and seven,

Speaker 1: Isaiah's fifty six and verse number seven word says, I

Speaker 1: will bring them to my holy mountain and make them

Speaker 1: joyful in my house of prayer. Amen, They're burnt offerings

Speaker 1: and sacrifices will be accepted on my altar. For my

Speaker 1: house will be called a house of prayer for who,

Speaker 1: for all nations. Right there, the prophet Isaiah is echoing, well,

Speaker 1: Jesus is echoing what the prophet says. Amen, I will

Speaker 1: bring them to my holy mountain and make them joyful

Speaker 1: in my house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and sacrifices

Speaker 1: will be accepted on my altar. For my house will

Speaker 1: be called a house of prayer for all the nations.

Speaker 1: And that's why Jesus spoke it in Matthew twenty one thirteen.

Speaker 1: He also said it in Mark eleven and seventeen, and

Speaker 1: he also said it in Luke chapter nineteen, verse forty six.

Speaker 1: So we have this, this quote through the scriptures in

Speaker 1: the Gospels, quoted by the Lord himself. Amen, a house

Speaker 1: of prayer. I'm going to take it like where the

Speaker 1: of God, the living temples of God, roaming around the earth,

Speaker 1: of giving love and mercy and showing grace to all

Speaker 1: I too have seen it, declares the Lord. Amen. Now, man,

Speaker 1: be obvious for everyone. No one wanted to go to

Speaker 1: name to be saved. It's in the scriptures right. So

Speaker 1: God desires purity, purity in worship, and justice in his house.

Speaker 1: terms of my life, and justice in term of my life,

Speaker 1: and in your life, justice, purity, worship, all of it

Speaker 1: in your house, in your dwelling, Amen, which is not

Speaker 1: Jesus shows up people saying, Hosanna, hosanna, all the good

Speaker 1: stuff right, comes in on a donkey. So Jesus gave

Speaker 1: instructions right to his disciples, says if anyone questions, you

Speaker 1: would tell them that the Lord needs them because he

Speaker 1: was looking for Let me just read it, Matthew twenty one,

Speaker 1: verse one. As they approached Jerusalem and came to Bethage

Speaker 1: on the amount of olives, Jesus sent to disciples, saying

Speaker 1: to them, this is what the instructions he gave to

Speaker 1: these two disciples. Go into the village ahead of you,

Speaker 1: and at once you will find a donkey tied there

Speaker 1: with a colt beside her. Untie them and bring them

Speaker 1: to me. If anyone questions, you tell him that the

Speaker 1: Lord needs them, and he will send them right away.

Speaker 1: drove out all who were buying and selling. There he

Speaker 1: overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats

Speaker 1: of those selling doves, and he declared to them, it

Speaker 1: is written. This is why he said it. My house

Speaker 1: making it a den of roberts. Now this is the
