- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
- 0:03Epstein Chronicles. In this episode, we're gonna pick up where
- 0:06we left off with Leslie Groff and the transcripts from
- 0:10her interview with Congress mister Biggs. Thank you, Thank you
- 0:15very much. I don't want this to be tedious, but
- 0:18I just really feel like we need to explore this.
- 0:21We'recalling the database that you use to make calls to
- 0:23set these appointments and looking at that list in the
- 0:26exhibit that you have before you, now, do they seem
- 0:29at least similar to you? I mean, do you recognize
- 0:32some of the names, numbers, et cetera. Groff, most of
- 0:35them are redacted, Biggs, most of the New York ones
- 0:38are redacted. Graff are redacted? Right. I recognize Don as
- 0:43Don Wicks and pom Beach. Biggs. Pom Beach, he's in Florida, Graff, Yes, Biggs?
- 0:48Any others Graff, No, Biggs. Let's explore that for a second.
- 0:52Don w R has three numbers and three descriptions by them.
- 0:57One is B, one is W, one is H. I
- 1:00don't want to assume something, but what do those mean? Groff?
- 1:04I would think work home. I don't know what be
- 1:07means Bigs business, perhaps Groff business, Biggs, which raises this
- 1:13odd question. I mean you had her home number, you
- 1:15had her work number and her business number. Did that
- 1:18strike you as odd that she had multiple apparently multiple
- 1:21numbers would come. You've got to let him finish the question, Biggs. Yeah,
- 1:26through multiple places you can go there, Groff. It did
- 1:30not strike me as strange. Biggs was down a regular
- 1:34of his grof. She had, she had her husband and
- 1:38a medical spa. Her husband was a chiropractor, and I
- 1:41know mister Epstein went to her spa. Biggs. Let's go
- 1:44back to the front page because this is something this
- 1:47is unredacted. And I don't know if you said that
- 1:50you made some maybe you made some of the appointments
- 1:52in California. Did I understand that right? Graf? It's possible
- 1:56he didn't go to California very often. Biggs. Looking at
- 1:59the perhaps you looked at it. Then as you go
- 2:02down the list, particularly in the second row, the second column,
- 2:07I should say, gypsy has a phone number. Gypsy has
- 2:10a phone number. Another gypsy has a phone number. Mister Graff, Oh, yes, Biggs,
- 2:16sports connection has a phone number. And then looking at those.
- 2:20Did you see those? Then? Just to clarify that, Graf,
- 2:24it's possible, Biggs. Would it strike you as odd that
- 2:27there's no name? It's just gypsy, mister Graff. Gypsy was
- 2:31the mel massuse, Mister Biggs, there's multiple Gypsies on here, Graf,
- 2:37it was it was his name, that's what we called them.
- 2:41And they're talking about Gypsy Gida, that's who they're talking about,
- 2:44the so called guru. Yeah, him, mister Biggs. Well, there's
- 2:48another one name to redacted and the descriptor here is
- 2:52one of gypsy. What does that mean? GoF Oh? I
- 2:55don't know, Biggs. I mean, I don't want to suppose,
- 2:58but I mean there's some supposition we could make. You
- 3:01didn't find that curious. Perhaps let's go to the UK
- 3:05massage list for a second. You have a number, you've
- 3:07got some redactions there. What's not redacted is Los Angeles.
- 3:11What might that mean? Did you see that? It's the
- 3:13second column, I'm sorry, last one of the redacted in
- 3:17the massage UK. Graf, Oh, I don't know, Biggs. The
- 3:21one above it says Amsterdam Groff. I don't know, Biggs.
- 3:26Jean Luke Bim Graf Jean Luke Biggs, do you know
- 3:30who John Luke Bim is? Graf. I don't know, Biggs.
- 3:33I'm going to stop there. Well, I'm not going to
- 3:35stop there. I'm going to ask another question, but then
- 3:38I'll stop. And that is as you think back now,
- 3:41looking back now from this vantage point that you're in now,
- 3:45and you had a database on the computer, you have
- 3:47this black book that you add access to as well.
- 3:50Did any of that strike you as odd that mister
- 3:52Epstein was keeping literally by my account, well over fifty
- 3:56or seventy five different discrete names in various massage calls
- 4:00from all over the world vs. A V. Whatever he
- 4:03had in the database. Did that strike you as odd
- 4:05at all? Grof? Does it strike me as odd now? Biggs? Yeah,
- 4:09looking back, Grof, he had so many people in his
- 4:12realm and knew so many people. It doesn't strike me
- 4:14as odd that he had a lot of different people
- 4:17in his black book, in his directory. It's not surprising
- 4:20within the depth of the people that he knew. This
- 4:23is one category. But I believe he had the same
- 4:25amount of people in other categories as well, Biggs, But
- 4:29in particular with the massage category, all over the world.
- 4:33That didn't strike you as odd that, for instance, in California,
- 4:37he maintained the names of twenty six different messuses. Groth.
- 4:41I mean he was very wealthy, and he knew a
- 4:43lot of people, and when he went to any time
- 4:46he met anyone, he'd put them in the directory. It
- 4:49could be a passing Biggs. He must have been a
- 4:52prolific massage receiver. Thank you, Thank you. Emmer. We've had
- 4:55another member of Congress join us. Can he please identify himself?
- 4:59Resent Tenative Scott Perry, Pennsylvania's tenth district. Emmer, we've also
- 5:04had an additional staff member or members joined since we started.
- 5:07Can they identify themselves? Mister Emmer? Thank you both. Redacted. Toland,
- 5:13recognizing we only have a couple minutes left in our hour,
- 5:16go ahead, Emmer. We've had another member join. Can you
- 5:19please identify yourself for the record, James Walkinshaw, eleventh District, Virginia,
- 5:25Miss Tolan. Question, Recognizing we only have a little bit
- 5:29of time, I'm going to ask you a few quick questions.
- 5:32Did you ever witness mister Abstein have sexual contact of
- 5:35any kind with any other young woman or girl? Answer
- 5:38no question. Did you ever witness miss Maxwell have sexual
- 5:42contact of any kind with any other young woman or girl?
- 5:45Answer no question. Did you ever witness mister Abstein abuse
- 5:50or assault any young woman or a girl? Answer no question.
- 5:55Did any young woman or a girl ever tell you
- 5:58that mister Abstein or anyone else abuse, used or assaulted them?
- 6:01Answer no question. Did you ever witness mister Ebstein exploit
- 6:06any young woman or girls? Answer no question. Did you
- 6:10ever witness miss Maxwell exploit any young women or girls?
- 6:13Answer no question. Did you ever witness any other individual
- 6:18aside from mister Ebstein abuse or assault any young women
- 6:21or girls? Answer no question. I'm going to ask you
- 6:25a list of names for the same question. Did you
- 6:29ever witness any of the following individuals abuse or assault
- 6:32any young women or girls? Frederick Focai answer no. Philip
- 6:36Levine answer no, Les Wexner answer no, Leon Black answer no,
- 6:41Bill Gates answer no. Jess Staley answer no. Andrew Mountbatten
- 6:47Windsor answer no, Harvey Weinstein no, Terry Larson no, Tommy
- 6:53Mottola no, George Mitchell no, Henry Jureki no, Eduardo TiO
- 6:59Dorani no, Glenn Dubin no, Lapo Elkin no I don't
- 7:04know who that is. Question Tom Pritzker, Answer no, David Mitchell,
- 7:09no question. Did you ever hear any allegations about any
- 7:13of these men? Answer no, mister Timmins, real quick. From
- 7:18twenty thirteen until you left, the majority of that time,
- 7:21there were eight twenty to thirty five year old women
- 7:24that were in the house with them at all times.
- 7:26What do you think they did? What was their job? Like?
- 7:29They were just around? Graff, you're referring to Timmins. I've
- 7:33got redacted, redacted or redacted, redacted or redacted, redacted and redacted?
- 7:38What did they do? So they were around for years, Graff,
- 7:41they were Timmins, and you ran their lives, Graff. I
- 7:44did not run their lives, Timmins. Did you control when
- 7:47they got a haircut? Graf? I did not control when
- 7:50they got a haircut? Timmins. We got an email. We'll
- 7:52get to that in a minute. But so, I mean,
- 7:55they say that their credit cards were controlled by Epstein,
- 7:57by you, Kahn Endyken redacted, They had loans taken out
- 8:01in their names, their apartments were at the behest of Epstein,
- 8:04and they say that you were largely responsible for managing
- 8:07that their computers, their phones, their flights, their hotels, all
- 8:11their travel, all of their life was run by Epstein.
- 8:14What do you think those humans were doing during that time?
- 8:17Why did they exist in the world, Grof. I believe
- 8:20them to be traveling assistants, and none of them ever
- 8:22looked unhappy or under duress. They would travel with them
- 8:26and do errands and source things. They were not all
- 8:29together all the time with them. It was a demanding
- 8:31job to travel with them. It would appear to me
- 8:34to have to leave given twelve hours notice, Hey, we're
- 8:36going upon beach tomorrow. To me, it would be grueling
- 8:39to ask one person to do that all the time.
- 8:41I think they would get burnt out, and so we
- 8:44would take one or two with them, but they would
- 8:46get them coffee. They would go out and get them
- 8:49a burger. It was an assistant chore type of position, Timmins.
- 8:54They all just happened to be fairly beautiful and similar age. Groth.
- 8:58I think that in order to be a travel assistant,
- 9:01it seems consistent that you would have someone who's in
- 9:03their twenties or early thirties, not married. It made sense
- 9:06as that seems typical to me. Timmins In retrospect. Do
- 9:11you appreciate that they feel like they were victims of
- 9:13sex and human trafficking and we're being controlled by Epstein
- 9:17every part of their life? Groff in retrospect, in hindsight.
- 9:21In hindsight, it's terrible. I can't imagine what they were
- 9:24going through. It's amazing to me that they were able
- 9:27to put on such a good affront and seem happy
- 9:29it was. It's hard. It's hard for me to fathom.
- 9:33She's victim blaming. That's what Graff is doing. She doesn't
- 9:36feel any remorse, she doesn't think she did anything wrong.
- 9:39That's what it comes down to. Tolin. Question, Ms Groff,
- 9:44I recognize that we are at time for our hour,
- 9:47but I just have three very quick questions to end on.
- 9:51Do you have any direct knowledge of mister Epstein ever
- 9:53engaging in sexual relations with any of his assistants? Answer
- 9:57no question. Did you ever win bodiness mister Epstein receive
- 10:01a massage from young women or girls? Answer no question.
- 10:05Did you ever receive a massage from anyone associated with
- 10:09mister Epstein? Answer I went to a spot one time,
- 10:13not associated with them. Miss Tolin, thank you. We will
- 10:17end our hour and go off record misredacted. Good morning,
- 10:22miss Groff. My name is misredacted, and I'll be doing
- 10:25most of the questioning for the minority today. I'm going
- 10:28to cover some of the same topics that the majority
- 10:31covered with you in the previous round. This is not
- 10:34to make you repeat yourself, but rather to make sure
- 10:37what we have is a clear record as possible. I
- 10:40appreciate your patience while I do that. In addition to
- 10:43the extent of any of my questions, where any of
- 10:46your answers involve survivor names or other survivor identifying information,
- 10:51I ask on behalf of the minority that the majority
- 10:54redacts the information prior to releasing the transcript publicly. Question
- 10:59Ms Groff, I'd like to start with your work from
- 11:01mister Epstein. Started work for him in two thousand and one.
- 11:05Correct answer, yes question, and you were thirty five years
- 11:09old at that point. Answer yes question. Your title was
- 11:12executive secretary. Correct answer, yes question, and you were paid
- 11:17fifty thousand dollars correct answer, yes question. You talk a
- 11:22little bit about your role and responsibilities and also about
- 11:25the people that you work with. Can you say more
- 11:28about the other assistants that mister Epstein had in your
- 11:31relationship to them? Answer sure. In the office, there was
- 11:34an assistant to miss Maxwell, there was an assistant to
- 11:37the two attorneys. There was when I first started a
- 11:40traveling assistant. There was another assistant there. She was only
- 11:45there briefly. And we had a receptionist I replaced redacted.
- 11:49She was mister Epstein's assistant, and then I replaced her,
- 11:52so then redacted became the receptionist. Question did you at
- 11:55any point manage any of those assistants? Answer no question?
- 12:00So you never had your own team of assistants? Answer
- 12:03no question. How did you fit in within the larger operation?
- 12:07So you mentioned earlier Darren Endyke. Also there was Richard Kahn.
- 12:12Would they have ever asked you to do anything? Would
- 12:14Glen Maxwell ever ask you to do anything? Or did
- 12:17you only respond to mister Epstein. Answer it was mister
- 12:20Epstein purely. All right, folks, we're going to wrap up
- 12:24right here and in the next episode dealing with the topic,
- 12:26We're going to pick up where we left off. All
- 12:29the information that goes with this episode can be found
- 12:32in the description box.
