- 0:00We are living through a game changing moment for silver.
- 0:05There's a lot of reasons why we're going to cover them in
- 0:07this video and a lot of examples.
- 0:10We are living through silver history.
- 0:12We're going to talk about the COMEX.
- 0:13We're going to talk about $1700 silver right now.
- 0:18We're going to talk about the biggest under the radar story in
- 0:21the world of silver. And things are changing on gold
- 0:25and silver on a worldwide basis, like a scramble like you've
- 0:29never seen before. And this includes big people and
- 0:33big governments. Let's get started by the Comex.
- 0:35Is the Comex the electronic exchange that's kind of
- 0:39dominated the silver pricing structure?
- 0:42Is it dying? We have some fascinating data to
- 0:44look at. We're going to start with
- 0:46William Middlecoup who told us this silver short squeeze
- 0:52update. We haven't talked about short
- 0:55squeeze for a while, he says it's official.
- 0:57Since 2024 on the Comex, the the four largest silver shorters
- 1:04have been forced to close almost half of their Comex short
- 1:09possessions. Open interest has been declining
- 1:12significantly making the COMEX less significant compared to the
- 1:17Shanghai Gold and silver exchange.
- 1:20The price discovery mechanism has now clearly moved from
- 1:24Chicago to Shanghai and this is what we're looking at on this
- 1:28chart. This is the days of world
- 1:30production to cover short contracts and as you can see a
- 1:35couple very interesting things. Silver is right here, silver is
- 1:41no longer #1 on this chart, which again gives us proof that
- 1:45the that the things are changing at the COMEX OK.
- 1:49It also shows that we've had aggressive short covering OK and
- 1:54and the amount held OK. The red bar are the is the
- 1:58bankers, the four big traders. The green bar is the 8 largest
- 2:02traders that the smaller speculators are beginning to to
- 2:06cover their shorts. So guys, things are changing
- 2:10rapidly at the COMEX. We could indeed be experiencing
- 2:14right now the death of the paper market as things move to
- 2:19physical. We got a lot more to cover in
- 2:21this video about silver that demonstrate to us in no
- 2:24uncertain terms that the physical market is taking over
- 2:29from the paper market, that the East is taking over from the
- 2:33West. But now let's talk about $1700
- 2:37silver. This is shocking, but it's also
- 2:40very, very be real. And what we're talking about is
- 2:43the 1980 price in silver adjusted for inflation.
- 2:49Whoa, whoa, whoa, wait a minute. Not adjusted for what the
- 2:52government tells us, but adjusted for the real inflation.
- 2:56Wait. And we're going to look at gold,
- 2:57the gold price too. Let's look at the chart 1st and
- 3:00then we'll talk about this more in depth and why it is so, so
- 3:04important. So we're going to head out to
- 3:08goldfish charts that showed us the CPI adjusted gold versus the
- 3:15SGS. I'll tell you what SGS is in
- 3:18just one second. CPI gold for December.
- 3:21CPI adjusted gold gives a 1980 high of $3788.00.
- 3:27That's according to your government.
- 3:29That's the 1980 high price in today's dollars.
- 3:32According to your government, the SGSCPI adjusted gold rate is
- 3:36a 1980 high of $37,361.00. Now let's move on to silver.
- 3:45The CPI adjusted silver 1980 high price, OK based on the
- 3:50government numbers would be $175 today.
- 3:54But if you use the SGS methodology, you get an adjusted
- 3:59silver price from based on the 1980 high of 1728 dollars.
- 4:06OK. The SGS is the shadow government
- 4:09stats I'm going to give you. We're going to learn.
- 4:11We're going to go to school briefly here in a minute.
- 4:13We're going to learn more about what the shadow stats really is
- 4:16and where they come up with these numbers.
- 4:18But let's look at these charts first.
- 4:20The first chart that we are looking at, and I'm sharing the
- 4:24wrong screen. There we go.
- 4:26I'm sorry about that guys. I just read you what was going
- 4:29on now. You should be on the right
- 4:31screen. I apologize.
- 4:32This is the gold price versus CPI, OK.
- 4:37And as you can see at the 1980 high right here on this one, I
- 4:42won't circle them on all these. So we got more to look at is
- 4:44only $3700. That's because the government
- 4:47CPI is gets called into question very, very low.
- 4:52OK, now if we go and look at Yep, sorry about that, we are
- 4:58all over the place. This is gold versus the the
- 5:02shadow government stats, CPI numbers.
- 5:05And as you can see right here on this chart, the 1980 high using
- 5:10the real inflation levels for gold would be the equivalent of
- 5:1537,000 / 37,000 dollars. Let's get the silver.
- 5:20That's where it gets even more interesting and here we go.
- 5:25This is silver versus the government's.
- 5:29Hold on here. There we go.
- 5:31Silver versus the government CPI numbers and we get a 1980 high,
- 5:36OK, this is 1980 down here of $175, which hates that sounds
- 5:41good, right? We're what about $85 in the
- 5:43silver market right now. However, if we use the shadow
- 5:48stats number and we're going to learn what the shadow stats, how
- 5:50they calculate that in just one second.
- 5:53We use the shadow stats number. This is where it's shocking
- 5:56silver versus the SGS. And again, that's shadow
- 5:59government stats and we go down to 1980 on there in the bottom
- 6:03of the chart. We get an equivalent price right
- 6:07when you adjust that 19 eighty $50 silver price for the shadow
- 6:12government stats of $1728. Now let's look at what SGS is
- 6:19Shadow stats is. Shadow Government stats is a
- 6:22website run by an economist, Walter J Williams, that
- 6:25calculates economic data using historical government
- 6:30methodologies rather than the current quote UN quote official
- 6:35standards. Williams argues that the Bureau
- 6:38of Labor and Statistics, that's who puts out the official CPI
- 6:41numbers, has altered its formulas since the 1980s and
- 6:451990s to artificially lower reported inflation.
- 6:50OK. And then it goes into common
- 6:51differences. But basically what they're
- 6:53saying, look, guys, if you take that 1980 silver price and
- 6:57adjust it for the real inflation, if you'd use the same
- 7:01methodology to calculate inflation that they used in the
- 7:0570s and 80s, we would have $1728.00 silver.
- 7:11And I want you to think about it for a second, but my story is in
- 7:151980, I was 10 years old. I was thinking about this
- 7:18earlier while I was digging into these numbers.
- 7:21Back in 1980, a quarter, if you were alive like I was, a
- 7:25quarter, $0.25 would buy you a soda, would buy you a big candy
- 7:29bar, would buy so much, right? And today, those same things, a
- 7:33soda out of a soda machine or a pop, whatever you call it, or a
- 7:37candy bar, are like $2.00. When I go to the grocery store
- 7:40and see what they want for a Snickers candy bar, you know,
- 7:43$2.00. So this is real.
- 7:44And I dug in. I asked AI, Google AI to
- 7:48recalculate these numbers. These are real numbers.
- 7:51If you take that $50 silver price from 1980 and apply real
- 7:56live, real world inflation numbers, I mean that is it has
- 7:59been what, 40-6 years? You get a price today.
- 8:04That 1980 price in today's dollars would be $1728.00.
- 8:11OK, we're going to talk about the biggest and silver that's
- 8:14under the radar right now. OK, This is the this is a story
- 8:19that nobody else is talking about.
- 8:20And I'm telling you, please, in five years, you're going to
- 8:23remember that. We talked about it now and what
- 8:26a major, major story it was in the world of gold and silver.
- 8:30And we got more news coming out in this arena from New Zealand.
- 8:34And what I'm talking about is tokenization of silver and gold
- 8:39that is backed up by real world silver and gold in a vault.
- 8:43Let's go to New Zealand and get the latest on this.
- 8:46And it's fascinating the developments that we are seeing
- 8:49in the world of tokenization. And then I'm going to tell you
- 8:52whether you whether you like tokenization, crypto, whatever,
- 8:55doesn't matter, guys. This is going to be a massive
- 8:58wave of demand for physical silver and gold.
- 9:02Techmed, which is a big company, is launching tokenized gold and
- 9:07silver bullion in New Zealand. All right, now let's just look
- 9:11at a few of the details and why this is so important.
- 9:14Techmed has selected Commonwealth Vault, a leading
- 9:18bullion storage provider with vaults in New Zealand and
- 9:21Australia as their preferred vault provider.
- 9:25Guys, every one of these tokens, digital tokens that are created,
- 9:30it's a digital token, but it's backed 100%.
- 9:33But no, I'm not. I'm sorry, but I'm off today.
- 9:39There we go here. Let's go back to the top guys.
- 9:42Welcome to thank you upstairs, Susie, for saving me.
- 9:45There's tech Med, there's the beginning.
- 9:47What I just read you and then I'm not going to repeat, but
- 9:50they're using one of the best bolts in New Zealand.
- 9:53And the big, big take away here is this is real metal that's
- 9:58going to be stored in real vaults and it's going to create
- 10:00massive demand for silver and gold in red.
- 10:03Each gold in Z Token represents 1 Troy ounce of investment grade
- 10:09gold, while each Silver in Z Token represents 1 Troy ounce of
- 10:16silver, both fully allocated and segregated in Commonwealth Vault
- 10:22Secure New Zealand facilities. Token holders maintain
- 10:26beneficial ownership rights under a bare trust structure
- 10:30while enjoying the liquidity and efficiency of blockchain
- 10:34technology. This is the future and this is
- 10:40the future for silver and gold. OK, I look, I love the, I love
- 10:44holding physical metal, no doubt about it.
- 10:47But tokenization is going to create massive, massive demand.
- 10:52And, and think about it, right? Think about, think about it like
- 10:54a bank account. And I, and I think this will
- 10:56make more sense to you, right? If you have cash, let's say you
- 11:00have $20,000, are you going to keep all that cash stacked up at
- 11:05your house? No, you're going to keep it in a
- 11:07bank, right? Like I'm, I'm not a big fan and
- 11:09a Fiat money, but I have a bank account.
- 11:11I need a bank account. I keep cash in a bank, right?
- 11:14When I look at the app on the phone and it shows dollars in
- 11:18there, those are digital dollars that are represented by quote,
- 11:22UN quote, real cash that's in the bank.
- 11:25OK, Most of us trust banks enough that we keep a certain
- 11:28amount of our liquid dollars in the bank.
- 11:31But think about this. We're willing to trust that bank
- 11:34app and those digital dollars. The actual bank that we have our
- 11:39bank account in doesn't even really have all those digital,
- 11:42all those real dollars in their vault.
- 11:45You know that like that story, that Christmas movie about the
- 11:48Christmas story, right? They might have, I don't know,
- 11:515%. It's called fractional reserve
- 11:53banking. But with these tokenized silver
- 11:56and gold products, each token is absolutely represented by 1
- 12:01ounce of silver, one ounce of gold.
- 12:04And there are big benefits to this, right?
- 12:06Like you can travel with it, You can you can trade it without
- 12:09paying massive commissions like you do at a coin shop or
- 12:13anything else. You can sell small fractional
- 12:15amounts. So it, whether you like crypto,
- 12:19tokenization, any of that or not doesn't matter.
- 12:21The big point here is that this will catch on more and more.
- 12:25It's really the best of both worlds of the digital world and
- 12:29the real world. OK, I digress.
- 12:30That's my opinion. That's what I see coming.
- 12:32I see a lot more good coming. We got big.
- 12:38Are you part of the smart money or the dumb money?
- 12:40We're going to cover that in a little bit.
- 12:41We're going to talk about this worldwide scramble on a big
- 12:45world for metals, for silver, silver in particular.
- 12:48It's getting very, very interesting.
- 12:50Even did the US government invest in silver mines?
- 12:54We're going to talk about that. Before we do that.
- 12:56I have a special sponsor today for this video, Kootenai Silver,
- 13:00and I got a little video for you to watch.
- 13:02There's a lot of great information in there about the
- 13:04company, but also about what's happening right now in the
- 13:07pressure metals market. I will be right back.
- 13:11I'm going to four incredible pieces of data that show us the
- 13:17potential upside that is still intact and remains with precious
- 13:22metals. First, gold still covers only 3%
- 13:25of government debt. To go back to the 1980 ratio,
- 13:29gold would need to be priced for over $25,000 per oz.
- 13:35Next, history shows that after every major geopolitical event,
- 13:39like with Iran, gold is the best performer in the six month
- 13:43period that follows. Third, institutions now know
- 13:46that tariffs will remain in place, so the dollar sell off is
- 13:50likely to continue. And finally, in 1968 and in
- 13:552000, the two previous times that US equities were this
- 13:59overvalued Silver Sword 2500% and 1200% in the decade that
- 14:05followed. What will happen this time?
- 14:091 billionaire who called the 2000 silver market is Mr. Eric
- 14:13Sprott. He stands as one of the most
- 14:15legendary figures in precious metals investing.
- 14:18To me, his name is synonymous with unwavering conviction in
- 14:22gold and especially silver. He founded Sprott Asset
- 14:26Management, growing it into a global powerhouse managing
- 14:30billions and precious metals focused funds, including some of
- 14:33the world's largest physical silver trust.
- 14:36He now predicts silver could reach 150 to $300 plus in this
- 14:42cycle. I can believe that the it's gold
- 14:47silver issue should go back to 15.
- 14:49OK, it's only mined at 8:00 to 1:00, right?
- 14:52It's in the Earth's Crescent, like 10 or 11 to one.
- 14:55Why in the hell should I should it have traded at 100 to 1?
- 14:58And it's already down at what, 6768 to 1?
- 15:02I think it's going right to 15. One to 15.
- 15:04OK, so let's say if the gold price is 4500, which is near
- 15:08makes the the the calculation easy.
- 15:11Silver should be at $300. That's where it should be.
- 15:16That's without a physical shortage.
- 15:17OK. Now we throw the physical
- 15:19shortage on top and the shortage of silver stocks to buy.
- 15:23I mean it just the runway is so wide open that I can see nothing
- 15:30but clear sailing for silver. I looked at which companies that
- 15:33Eric Spratt is a shareholder of where the main metal is silver.
- 15:38Pure plays on silver and there's very few of those.
- 15:42Eric Spratt owns roughly 4% of Kootenai Silver, the sponsor of
- 15:46today's video and our newest Pureplay Silver for 2026.
- 15:52The ticker symbol is KOOYF and it's available on Schwab,
- 15:58Fidelity, Interactive Brokers and E*Trade.
- 16:01Back in mid 2025, when Silver's price was half of what it is
- 16:06today, these two analysts published these price targets
- 16:10for Kootenai Silver Research Capital with $2.70 Canadian and
- 16:16Red Cloud with $3.20 Canadian, which is the equivalent of
- 16:20roughly two US dollars today, with silver up more than 100%
- 16:26from when this was published. Kutney shares are about $1.37
- 16:32U.S. dollars. Conduct your due diligence on
- 16:35Kootenay Silver Symbol K0 0YF, which owns 4 silver projects
- 16:41containing one of the largest resources of any junior
- 16:45explorer. Kootenay Silver captured my
- 16:48attention because of the following catalyst.
- 16:51First, Kootenay Silver owns 4 silver deposits.
- 16:55Quality silver assets are scarce, yet Kootenay Silver owns
- 16:59four of them. They are proving to be the
- 17:02exception, A staggering 223 million ounces of silver
- 17:06equivalent in the measured and indicated category and an
- 17:10additional 111 million oz silver equivalent in the inferred
- 17:15category. The physical shortage and
- 17:17deficits are mounting as well. The global silver market has
- 17:21entered its 6th consecutive year of structural deficit, with the
- 17:252026 shortfall projected at 67,000,000 ounces.
- 17:31This chronic imbalance follows a massive 2025 deficit of 149 to
- 17:37230 million oz, contributing to an accumulated gap of nearly 900
- 17:44million oz since 2021. Only a handful of companies
- 17:49globally control deposits of this scale and grade.
- 17:54This is the most important piece of information I can share with
- 17:57you right now. James McDonald, Kootenai
- 17:59Silver's President and CEO, is definitely ready for this bull
- 18:04market in commodities. Check this out.
- 18:06James McDonald, now CEO of Kootenai Silver, played a
- 18:10pivotal role in creating Alamos Gold Inc, a company that
- 18:14delivered quadruple digit returns during the early to mid
- 18:182000s gold bull market. From its inception in 2003
- 18:23through 2012, the company's share price soared dramatically,
- 18:27rising from penny stock levels to well over 10 to $15 by the
- 18:32early 2010's peak, multi 1000% gains for early shareholders.
- 18:38Kutney Silver is a pureplay silver.
- 18:41The company is positioned so well for this bull market with
- 18:45James McDonald leading it, and in 2020, still a full 2 years
- 18:51before the company's most successful drill hole, which was
- 18:54done on September 8th, 2022, Eric Spratt bought shares for
- 18:59$4.00 Canadian, double their current price.
- 19:03And in 2025 Eric Spratt added more shares.
- 19:07I'll show you black and white mathematical valuations below.
- 19:11As you can see as of January 1st, 2026, when comparing
- 19:16between various silver companies, their enterprise
- 19:19value which is their market cap that when deducting cash and
- 19:23debt divided by the size of their resource ounces of silver
- 19:27equivalent. We see the Kutney silver is
- 19:30priced at only $0.36 per ounce of silver equivalent, whereas
- 19:35the average of the select 15 companies is $2.18 per oz.
- 19:41With silver above $70 per oz and with global all in sustaining
- 19:46cost of mine silver sitting just below $25 per oz, the viability
- 19:51of advancing projects into production is far higher than
- 19:56one year ago, and Kutney Silver is scheduled to drill about
- 20:0070,000 meters. In the coming 12 months, as you
- 20:04can see, no other silver company has so much drilling planned and
- 20:09underway with that low of a market cap.
- 20:12Research Kutney Silver and do your homework on it as we are in
- 20:16a silver bull market that is front and center guys up up
- 20:24here. We are welcome back.
- 20:27We got a lot more to talk about, big money, smart money coming
- 20:29into silver, big money, smart money talking about silver and
- 20:34on top of that, the US government, are they getting
- 20:37into silver mining? I want to say thank you again to
- 20:39Kootenai Silver for sponsoring this video.
- 20:42Please remember, I'm not a financial advisor.
- 20:44Always do your own research. But let's talk about the big,
- 20:47smart money that's doing big things with silver and what is
- 20:51the not so smart money doing? Some people call it the dumb
- 20:55money. I don't like to use that word,
- 20:57but that shows us something very important of where we are right
- 21:01now in this silver bull market. Let's pull this one up.
- 21:05We have a great, great piece of information from metals and
- 21:10miners talking about the great silver Divergent professionals
- 21:15are draining the COMEX. We looked at that earlier every
- 21:19single day. I think the registered
- 21:21inventory, the actual metal at the COMEX has been down like on
- 21:25average 20 million oz per month over the last six months.
- 21:29While retail is selling, they they have another term for that
- 21:33that we're not going to use the not so smart money, not you, not
- 21:37me, right, But overall retail and wait till you hear this
- 21:41data. Another reason why silver is
- 21:43going much higher in blue. Excuse me?
- 21:47One of the most powerful signals in any market is a major
- 21:51divergent between the smart money and the retail crowd.
- 21:56Right now, we are witnessing one of the most profound divergences
- 22:02in the silver market in over a decade.
- 22:05While professionals, institutional buyers are quietly
- 22:09and relentlessly draining physical silver from the Crimex
- 22:14warehouses, retail investors are more bearish than ever, dumping
- 22:20silver backed ETFs and driving the spot.
- 22:23Physical silver Trust the PSLV. That's the they they call them.
- 22:29What's the it's the Canadian ETF that invest in real physical
- 22:33silver to a steep discount in red.
- 22:36This is not a minor anomaly. It's a glaring flashing signal
- 22:41that the real physical drill driven silver bull market has
- 22:46only just begun. Now here we go.
- 22:50This is interesting. What you need to know.
- 22:52The smart money is taking delivery and that's very obvious
- 22:56to us because registered deliverable silver inventories
- 22:59at the Comex have been in a steep decline.
- 23:01A clear sign that large buyers, cuz that's who buys on the Comex
- 23:06and takes delivery, are demanding physical metal, not
- 23:10cash. That's common sense, right?
- 23:12That makes total sense. But retails asleep at the wheel.
- 23:16The Spratt Physical Silver Trust is trading at an almost 6
- 23:19percent discount to its net asset value.
- 23:22This is direct real time measure of retail sentiment.
- 23:26It shows that retail investors are net sellers, not buyers of
- 23:30physical silver. But here's the whopper.
- 23:33OK, this is the opposite of 2011.
- 23:37The big 2011 run up in silver of the silver bull market peak was
- 23:43driven by a frenzy of Western retail buying.
- 23:47During that time, the PSLV traded at a massive premium,
- 23:52averaging 17.3% for the full year as investors chased
- 23:59physical silver at any price. This is a huge deal guys because
- 24:04think about it, what we've had go on in the silver market going
- 24:08from $30 to $85 over the last what, 6 months basically has
- 24:13been driven by big institutional buyers.
- 24:17And wait till you hear the data. We're going to look at next
- 24:20about what's going on with a worldwide scramble for the
- 24:23metals. But think about the turbo secret
- 24:26under the radar. Not only do we have
- 24:28tokenization, but no, another major thing is when the Western
- 24:32retail investor does wake up the flood of money, it's going to be
- 24:37like trying to drain Hoover Dam with a garden hose.
- 24:41We what we've done to this point, what we've experienced in
- 24:45the silver market to this point has been with a glaring absence
- 24:50of investors from the West. And it can't really get much
- 24:54worse than it was than it is. It's gotten a little better, but
- 24:57it's still real bad. Your neighbors, OK, the other
- 25:0198% of people in the West or wherever you live in the West,
- 25:06if you're in the West, some of you are everywhere.
- 25:08We're all over the world that that join me down here in the
- 25:11basement. But you know, all, all 98% of
- 25:14people don't understand metals don't own metals.
- 25:17They just, they like paper Fiat money.
- 25:21I like paper dollars. I like paper yen, I like paper
- 25:25EUR, whatever. When those people wake up who we
- 25:28affectionately like to refer to as the sheeple, when they wake
- 25:36up and come running and want to get in, that's what happened in
- 25:402000. But basically what happened in
- 25:422011. We've got like 20%, maybe 15% of
- 25:47that. It could get real interesting
- 25:49real quick. Do what?
- 25:50But we have that. It's starting because other big
- 25:54people are starting to pay attention to the precious metals
- 25:59market. Let me show you this as some
- 26:01great proof as to what's happening there.
- 26:04This one blew me away. OK, you read this right, but I'm
- 26:08going to tell you why this should blow you away.
- 26:10Here's a post from Coin Telegraph.
- 26:12Very simple. Huge, huge news.
- 26:15People's Bank of China extended its gold buying streak to 16
- 26:21months. Hey, that's big news, right?
- 26:23Right, China. No, that's not the big news.
- 26:26The big news is who's talking about this?
- 26:29Who published this post? Which is absolutely stunning
- 26:33because Coin Telegraph has three million, OK, 2.9 million people
- 26:40that follow them. And Coin Telegraph is a quote UN
- 26:43quote trusted crypto media source since 2013, news,
- 26:49research, podcast and more. That's a crypto media outlet
- 26:54that is talking. I mean, the news about China is
- 26:57great, but think about this, guys.
- 26:59This is a big, massive account. And it's not just them.
- 27:03We're seeing example after example of influencers, smart
- 27:08people who six months ago could care less about silver and gold
- 27:12from all different niches, from political niches though, I mean,
- 27:16and they're all starting to say, wow, look at silver, wow, look
- 27:20at gold when that starts to catch on.
- 27:23And that's really we are in the second or third inning right
- 27:26now, right when the Western investor, if they even do half
- 27:30as much, right, you're those people, those sheeple that we
- 27:34talked about earlier, do half as much as they did in 2011 as much
- 27:40as they did in 1980. It's going to be crazy.
- 27:43And think about this, because this is gets even more exciting
- 27:46when you consider the fact that when when these people catch on,
- 27:50it's going to happen like wildfire because the world that
- 27:54we live in right now where information is shared instantly,
- 27:58where people can make purchases instantly.
- 28:02Think about it when when people start to win the win A and look,
- 28:05I don't have a crystal ball, but if or when it happens, when
- 28:11people start to really create a mania around the metals in the
- 28:16West, that information in 1980, even in 2011, right information
- 28:21people would would talk at work or pick up their telephone and
- 28:25you know, dial the phone and say, did you hear about gold and
- 28:28silver? Did you read about it in the
- 28:30newspaper today? There's an article in the paper,
- 28:34right? No, Now you got these things.
- 28:38Information gets shared instantly.
- 28:40But even more critical is that when people start to wake up and
- 28:45they want to get gold and silver, oh, they can use these
- 28:47things to buy gold and silver instantly as well.
- 28:52It could go lickety split. I mean, and we've seen this
- 28:56happen. It happened a little bit
- 28:57recently. It happened during C-19.
- 29:00It happened before where there's no physical metal available
- 29:03because literally right right now, we could open this up and I
- 29:07could buy 100 ounces of silver in the next two minutes.
- 29:11You couldn't do that in 1980. You had to get your woody wagon,
- 29:15right? Take, take honey.
- 29:16I'm going to take the kids to the coin shop.
- 29:18We're going to buy some silver, you know, go to the coin shop
- 29:21and wait in line for an hour, right?
- 29:24And then find out that they didn't have any silver left.
- 29:26So think we're living in a different world, a new world.
- 29:29We got a worldwide scramble. This is interesting.
- 29:32Is the United States government the United States?
- 29:35Well, I'm going to say it. United States government getting
- 29:38into the silver mining industry. You be the judge.
- 29:41But this is a worldwide scramble for metals.
- 29:44OK, The Trump team, we're going to start with Venezuela.
- 29:47Let's see what's happening here. This is big news and again, with
- 29:51everything else going on, it's not getting the attention that
- 29:55it should be getting. Let's make sure I got the screen
- 29:57up, which I do. I apologize earlier for having
- 30:00the wrong screen up. I appreciate you guys being with
- 30:02me down here in the basement. Basement dwellers the Trump team
- 30:06brokers a gold deal with Venezuela up to 1000 kilograms
- 30:14which yeah, each kilogram has about 32 oz Troy ounces in it is
- 30:19headed to U.S. markets. This is a big, big deal, OK.
- 30:24The agreement first reported on Axios involves the sale of
- 30:27between about 1000 kilos of gold, which are semi refined
- 30:32blah blah blah, from Venezuela's state owned mining company Min
- 30:37Minarinven Minarinven anyway to the global commodities trailer
- 30:42Trafigiora. The gold is destined for
- 30:44refineries in the United States, marking a shift in Venezuela
- 30:49resource exports towards America.
- 30:53Now let's think about this on a big worldwide scramble for
- 30:57precious metals basis and then we're going to talk about silver
- 31:00in some shocking news about the US government and silver.
- 31:03But Josh Phillip Fair who is the CEO and Co founder of Scottsdale
- 31:07met if I have that correct, yes, had something very important to
- 31:11say. The Venezuela deal for the USA
- 31:14is much bigger than a single $150 million buy.
- 31:18What was formerly sanctioned and flowing to Russia and China is
- 31:23now being diverted to the United States.
- 31:27Massive change that signals more to come. the US is squeezing
- 31:33metal flow away from the Chinese.
- 31:36Guys, there is a oh hold on, I may have lost you.
- 31:39Hopefully you can still see me and hear me.
- 31:43I, I can see you. Can you see me?
- 31:47There's a massive, massive change going on in the world
- 31:51right now in the, in the, in the, in terms of people
- 31:54scrambling for these medals like nothing before.
- 31:58China and India are scrambling to get as much as they can. the
- 32:01United States is scrambling to get as much as they can.
- 32:04What about silver? Major announcement this week
- 32:07with the United States government announcing an initial
- 32:10investment of $5 million into a Peruvian silver project called
- 32:15Cerro de Pasco, $5,000,000. But the potential for as much as
- 32:20$300 million to be loaned for this Peruvian silver mining
- 32:26project. What's interesting about it is
- 32:28this project, Cerro de Pasco was one of the world's biggest
- 32:31silver mines ever. It's was in operation since the
- 32:341600s. JP Morgan himself was a big
- 32:39investor in this project, like 120 many years ago.
- 32:43It had so much silver in it that they wouldn't even mind a lot of
- 32:47the ore they dug up. They would just kind of set it
- 32:50aside. And now there's massive, massive
- 32:53amounts of ore on the ground that still contains significant
- 32:57amounts of silver. the US government is investing in this.
- 33:01OK, let's look. I'll give you a proof right
- 33:03here, right now, Cerro de Pasco, it's located in the Central
- 33:10Highlands. Hold on.
- 33:11Yep, we got you up, up Peru, about 300 kilometers, that's
- 33:171000 meters north of Lima. OK Regarding U.S. government
- 33:22involvement this is what we want to get to recent investment and
- 33:25this is breaking news in March of 2026 the US International
- 33:29Development Finance Corporation, the DFC I've never heard of that
- 33:34before it must be new signed an agreement to prop to provide up
- 33:38to 5 million in development funding to Cerro de Pasco
- 33:41resources potential loan. The DFC is also considering a
- 33:45long term direct loan of up to $300 million to to to support
- 33:52the construction of the Quilo coca tailings project.
- 33:57The US government, you know, right, having recently included
- 34:01silver in the list of critical minerals, is scrambling to get
- 34:05its hands on metals. OK, It's a big deal.
- 34:09We got a lot going on. Hey, the biggest deal is that we
- 34:12are in for great, great times ahead in the silver and gold
- 34:16markets. And I really want to say thank
- 34:18you for coming down here and enjoying this time with me in
- 34:21the basement. You are the most important part
