The days are shortening, mornings are cooler, football has returned, gardens are slowing down, and one golden ash tree is leading the seasonal parade.
Meanwhile, evening tennis has become a wildlife adventure, with moths beneath the lights, praying mantises covering the courts, and formations of geese creating the possibility of an aerial “bombing run.”
Stink bugs are searching for winter lodging, while Terry is sharpening his chainsaw, buying new gloves, and eyeing that ash tree with far too much…
