Bugonia: Even Better on Rewatch?
My spoiler-filled review of Bugonia after watching it for a second time.
I discuss why the movie worked better on rewatch, its emotional score, Yorgos Lanthimos’ direction, Jesse Plemons’ incredible and surprisingly relatable performance, Emma Stone keeping us guessing, Aidan Delbis’ underrated role, and the explosive third act.
I rated Bugonia 4.5 out of 5 on Letterboxd.
