- 0:14Speaker 1: although watch your mouth. Well yeah, I mean it's so
- 0:17Speaker 1: we're flying by the seat of our pants when we
- 0:19Speaker 1: do this without a net. So eight seven seven six
- 0:22Speaker 1: oh two nine six ninety six, it's your chance to just,
- 0:26Speaker 1: I mean, ask us something, criticize us. Maybe you have
- 0:29Speaker 1: something you want to promote, an observation that you would
- 0:33Speaker 1: like to make, something you would like to point out
- 0:35Speaker 1: that maybe others have not noticed.
- 0:37Speaker 2: They go there go the phones, and I think I've
- 0:40Speaker 2: heard I've heard on other radio stations they do these
- 0:43Speaker 2: these things where they have actors call and pretend to
- 0:46Speaker 2: be We don't do that.
- 0:47Speaker 1: This is this is all you all right, there's line one.
- 0:50Speaker 1: We have Heather High, Heather, where are you calling us from?

- 0:58Speaker 3: And I am not a paid actor.
- 0:59Speaker 1: No you're not, you're not. Yeah, you're not that good.
- 1:04Speaker 3: No, that's harsh criticism coming from Bill.
- 1:09Speaker 1: Bill Mills just kidding.
- 1:11Speaker 3: Now what have you for us, Heather, Yes, I am
- 1:14Speaker 3: calling to promote. I'm on the board of Postpartum Support International,
- 1:18Speaker 3: Utah and we have an annual event coming up this
- 1:21Speaker 3: Saturday at Wheeler Farm from nine thirty to one thirty
- 1:25Speaker 3: and are We're just there for all families and community members.
- 1:29Speaker 3: We're just raising awareness for perinato mental health disorders.
- 1:33Speaker 2: You know, if you called this beer for breeders, you
- 1:35Speaker 2: might get more people.
- 1:36Speaker 1: To come to go.
- 1:40Speaker 3: You know, you're probably right.
- 1:42Speaker 1: So now what are you going to be doing there
- 1:45Speaker 1: at Wheeler Farm, Heather? What?
- 1:47Speaker 4: What have you?
- 1:47Speaker 1: What have you got for people?
- 1:49Speaker 3: That's a good question. So we have so many providers
- 1:52Speaker 3: and community resources that come out set up little booths.
- 1:56Speaker 3: So if you're looking for a therapist or a like
- 2:00Speaker 3: a mental health medication prescriber or even like local support groups,
- 2:05Speaker 3: someone to help you get on Medicaid, we have so
- 2:08Speaker 3: many providers there to help. And we also have princesses
- 2:12Speaker 3: and superheroes okay, safe painting, So it's there's something for everybody.
- 2:17Speaker 1: And if I come, will you shrink my head?
- 2:20Speaker 3: Absolutely?
- 2:22Speaker 4: I would love that.
- 2:23Speaker 2: This is one of those things where there's a lot
- 2:25Speaker 2: of shame, like you feel like I'm supposed to be happy. Yes,
- 2:30Speaker 2: I'm supposed to be happy. Why why aren't I feeling happy?
- 2:32Speaker 2: And I think going to something like this, you'll look
- 2:35Speaker 2: around and go, oh, wait a minute, there's lots of
- 2:36Speaker 2: people that feel like that, and there's help available.
- 2:39Speaker 1: Exactly Does it have anything to do with colostrum?
- 2:43Speaker 3: Colostrum all the way. We we love colostrum, but we
- 2:46Speaker 3: won't sell in thin people.
- 2:48Speaker 1: All right, all right, Heather, thank you very much. That's
- 2:51Speaker 1: Wheeler Form this Saturday. What time? Thanks other, see you later.
- 2:58Speaker 2: I have anything to do with coloss from Yeah.
- 3:01Speaker 1: It's just it's just a word. It's a word I
- 3:04Speaker 1: like that I don't get to use very often. So
- 3:07Speaker 1: I mean, it's a wonderful thing. Let's go to Uh, Corey,
- 3:12Speaker 1: Hi Corey. How oh? I know why Corey is calling us?
- 3:16Speaker 1: He won tickets to Drive By Truckers and uh and
- 3:21Speaker 1: uh tell us Corey, dear tick, dear tick.
- 3:24Speaker 4: Yeah, and you said you drive by Truckers.
- 3:27Speaker 1: Yeah, drive by Truckers. So you told us so you
- 3:29Speaker 1: would review the show for us.
- 3:32Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 3:32Speaker 4: Well yeah, So I got there, went to will call,
- 3:35Speaker 4: showed my d got my ticket. As I was opening
- 3:38Speaker 4: the envelope I heard a guy at the entry to
- 3:40Speaker 4: one of the staff members that, hey, my friends went in.
- 3:43Speaker 4: They have the tickets. I don't. I don't know what
- 3:46Speaker 4: I'm gonna do. And I just I took my other
- 3:48Speaker 4: ticket out and handed it to him.
- 3:49Speaker 1: Oh you do nice?
- 3:52Speaker 4: Yeah, and he kind of looked at me like really
- 3:54Speaker 4: and like I want him like no one, no one's
- 3:56Speaker 4: with me here, you know, well done. Corey is very
- 3:58Speaker 4: appreciative and like the timing was cosmic.
- 4:01Speaker 1: Anyway, I'm sorry you don't have any friends, Corey.
- 4:07Speaker 4: I have a lot of friends, just no one that
- 4:09Speaker 4: likes dry By Truckers.
- 4:11Speaker 1: The show was great, you say.
- 4:13Speaker 4: It really was. Yeah. So it's a band that Jason
- 4:16Speaker 4: Isabel used to be in. Patterson Hood is one of
- 4:21Speaker 4: the singers. He was actually here at the Stateroom solo
- 4:24Speaker 4: last December and I saw him there. And they were
- 4:28Speaker 4: actually three bands. Filma and the Sleeves opened, kind of
- 4:33Speaker 4: a punk band, and they came out by saying, Hey,
- 4:36Speaker 4: we're going to play a song about finger something I
- 4:39Speaker 4: won't say, yeah, right into it, yeah, finger tapping. So
- 4:44Speaker 4: they were kind of a three three lady punk band
- 4:47Speaker 4: from Nashville. They were a lot of fun and uh, yeah,
- 4:50Speaker 4: the other bands were great, put in a great show,
- 4:53Speaker 4: dear tick. Yeah, they were fine. They're from Rhode Island.
- 4:55Speaker 4: I did not know that. Probably probably the only band
- 4:58Speaker 4: from Rhode Island. But yeah, Patterson and Gang, they put
- 5:02Speaker 4: on a good show, have some great songs.
- 5:03Speaker 1: All right, Corey, thanks, thanks for loving you.
- 5:05Speaker 4: Thanks again, appreciate.
- 5:08Speaker 5: Holly, Sarah, stay on the line. We're going to take
- 5:10Speaker 5: a break and then we will look back to take
- 5:11Speaker 5: your calls.
- 5:14Speaker 1: It's hello, yeah, what And it's a simple thing. You
- 5:16Speaker 1: just call us and talk to us. You can ask
- 5:18Speaker 1: us questions, you can take us to task, you can
- 5:21Speaker 1: you can wag your finger at us and say how
- 5:23Speaker 1: dare you? Whatever you'd like to do. Hollie, Hello, how
- 5:28Speaker 1: are you? Hollie?
- 5:30Speaker 6: I'm well, I'm well. Thank you for letting me listen.
- 5:33Speaker 6: I want to Yes, I just wanted to touch on the
- 5:36Speaker 6: daycare topic.
- 5:37Speaker 1: Real quick, Okay.
- 5:39Speaker 6: I'm a director at an all inclusive, top.
- 5:42Speaker 3: Rated daycare facility in Polake City.
- 5:45Speaker 6: I've been there for about fifteen years and I just
- 5:48Speaker 6: wanted to give Yeah, I just wanted to give a
- 5:51Speaker 6: resource for parents or families looking for quality childcare in Utah.
- 5:55Speaker 4: Uh huh.
- 5:56Speaker 6: If you go to care about Childcare dot calm, I
- 6:00Speaker 6: believe it is. If it's not calm, then it's dot org.
- 6:04Speaker 6: That will give you a list of licensed and I
- 6:06Speaker 6: believe unlicensed state care centers and any write ups, any
- 6:12Speaker 6: disqualifications or anything.
- 6:14Speaker 7: Will be public record.
- 6:16Speaker 6: And you've just that's a great resource for families looking
- 6:19Speaker 6: for stay care.
- 6:20Speaker 2: It's care about Childcare dot Utah, dot gov. So this
- 6:24Speaker 2: is a state, a state which is great. That's great.
- 6:27Speaker 2: That's how you know it's it's for real.
- 6:29Speaker 1: So checks theater city and see if they mentioned that
- 6:31Speaker 1: the kid got his toes cut off? It's a how
- 6:35Speaker 1: do I guess you? I would guess folly that you're
- 6:38Speaker 1: in favor of tightening these regulations up a little bit.
- 6:42Speaker 6: Oh yeah, absolutely, like you've got to. Unfortunately, you keep
- 6:47Speaker 6: in mind you kind of get what you pay for
- 6:49Speaker 6: in the daycare industry for parents and that and quality
- 6:53Speaker 6: daycare is not always accessible the families. Yeah, so we
- 6:57Speaker 6: advocate for a government.
- 6:58Speaker 1: Which yeah, and so so lose Escamia. I think it
- 7:03Speaker 1: was louse.
- 7:04Speaker 2: What she was trying to get past last session was
- 7:09Speaker 2: a childcare built.
- 7:10Speaker 1: Like you said, you get what you pay for.
- 7:12Speaker 2: She was trying to get a quality, government subsidized affordable
- 7:18Speaker 2: childcare more readily available.
- 7:21Speaker 1: That's what she's Yeah, I know, why would.
- 7:23Speaker 8: You be against that?
- 7:25Speaker 1: I don't know, lose escabilla. I think that was Lucy
- 7:30Speaker 1: was doing that. Holly. Thanks for the information.
- 7:34Speaker 6: Yeah, you're welcome. Have a good day, Gay.
- 7:36Speaker 1: Yeah see that's hell. Yeah what that's what I'm to
- 7:38Speaker 1: do that. Let's go to uh, Sarah, where are you
- 7:42Speaker 1: calling from? Sarah?
- 7:44Speaker 7: Sandy?
- 7:44Speaker 1: And what do you got?
- 7:47Speaker 9: Well?
- 7:47Speaker 7: I am moving at the end of this year and
- 7:49Speaker 7: I have been volunteering with Lasagna Love for five six
- 7:54Speaker 7: years now. It's a website where you can sign up
- 7:59Speaker 7: to get a little or to donate a lasagna if
- 8:02Speaker 7: someone needs food.
- 8:04Speaker 9: I know it sounds really funny.
- 8:07Speaker 7: Yep, it's I think it's I think it has Italian roots,
- 8:10Speaker 7: which I do as well. People make lots of lasagna,
- 8:14Speaker 7: big trays of lasagna, and sometimes you're like, hey, I
- 8:16Speaker 7: have an extra and right now people need food. So
- 8:19Speaker 7: if you need a lasagna you can sign up. You
- 8:22Speaker 7: just say what your food allergies are, how many people
- 8:24Speaker 7: were serving, and it connects you with someone who has
- 8:27Speaker 7: a lasagna and wants to drop it.
- 8:28Speaker 5: Off to you.
- 8:28Speaker 8: That's right.
- 8:30Speaker 1: This is a simple fixed Okay. What is it again?
- 8:36Speaker 7: It's Lasagna Love dot org. Yeah all right. Now, it's
- 8:43Speaker 7: not like pizza. It's not going to come the same day,
- 8:45Speaker 7: but we try to get you massies in thirty days.
- 8:47Speaker 7: And so if there are people out there who have
- 8:50Speaker 7: a lasagna they like to make, or a casserole dish
- 8:53Speaker 7: that is their favorite and they want to share, that
- 8:55Speaker 7: is also welcome. You can sign up to do it
- 8:57Speaker 7: one time, you can sign up to do it every
- 8:58Speaker 7: other month. You can sign up to it every week,
- 9:00Speaker 7: however often you can.
- 9:02Speaker 1: I think you would love to have here. I'm thinking
- 9:05Speaker 1: you probably there's a lot of competition with toa noodle
- 9:08Speaker 1: cast Rolet noodle cast role love. I think mac and
- 9:16Speaker 1: cheese love. I mean this like this could this could
- 9:18Speaker 1: open up a whole new and then you guys can
- 9:21Speaker 1: all battle battle it out and feed people and be great.
- 9:24Speaker 1: All right, thanks, thanks for that. It's it's just Lasagnelove
- 9:30Speaker 1: dot okay.
- 9:31Speaker 4: Dot com dot org.
- 9:33Speaker 1: Okay, Thanks Sarah eight seven seven six oh two nine
- 9:39Speaker 1: six nine six is the number? Hello? Yeah, what you
- 9:43Speaker 1: can do it.
- 9:44Speaker 2: We're looking for phone calls, not texts, but I think
- 9:47Speaker 2: I think I need to pass along this text we got, Uh, Paula,
- 9:52Speaker 2: I cannot work the weekend of the nineteenth. I'm good
- 9:54Speaker 2: to work the other three weekends. I don't think you
- 9:57Speaker 2: meant to send that to.
- 10:00Speaker 1: No, I don't think.
- 10:01Speaker 2: But if paul is listening and she was wondering if
- 10:04Speaker 2: someone could work the weekend, do.
- 10:06Speaker 1: Me a favor. Will you reply as Paula and say,
- 10:08Speaker 1: well then you're fired?
- 10:11Speaker 4: Hello? Yeah? What eight?
- 10:15Speaker 1: All right?
- 10:16Speaker 8: Todd?
- 10:17Speaker 1: Todd? Hello, Todd?
- 10:19Speaker 4: Hello, lords?
- 10:20Speaker 1: How are you all fine? Where are you calling from? Todd?
- 10:24Speaker 4: Well? Right now?
- 10:25Speaker 6: Todd is in soul Lak City, but.
- 10:27Speaker 4: I do reside in the Daist of breaks.
- 10:29Speaker 1: Okay, what do you got?
- 10:32Speaker 4: Well? Two things. One, I just want to thank you
- 10:35Speaker 4: guys for getting me through my work day since nineteen ninety.
- 10:39Speaker 4: Do appreciate y'all?
- 10:40Speaker 1: Well, can we appreciate you?
- 10:43Speaker 4: And the last thing, I was in a pretty bad
- 10:45Speaker 4: accident in November and I would have never known to
- 10:49Speaker 4: call the advocates if it wasn't for you guys. Really
- 10:52Speaker 4: they yeah, they were everything you said. They were. Josh
- 10:56Speaker 4: over there helped me and I was able to get better,
- 10:59Speaker 4: you know, and they did everything you said they would do,
- 11:03Speaker 4: and they're awesome.
- 11:06Speaker 1: And when you see very seldom do we use paid
- 11:09Speaker 1: actors on this feature. But no, thanks, that's unsolicited and
- 11:17Speaker 1: we'll if you don't mind, we will pass that on.
- 11:20Speaker 1: We'll pass your recording onto the well, get a recording
- 11:23Speaker 1: and send it over to the advocacy. That's okay with you.
- 11:27Speaker 4: That's great. No, they were awesome, and thank you guys.
- 11:29Speaker 1: Sure, thanks, thanks to glad you're feeling better.
- 11:33Speaker 8: Hello, Yeah, what all right? Our looks like our buddy
- 11:36Speaker 8: Zane is on the phone.
- 11:39Speaker 1: Yeah, oh Zane, good Morningane in Dallas, Texas.
- 11:46Speaker 4: That's correct. I was just wondering if you guys liked
- 11:49Speaker 4: Dante's Peak or Volcano better Dante's Peak.
- 11:53Speaker 2: Katy had an immediate answer for you.
- 11:55Speaker 1: Know, I think I've seen both of them, and they
- 11:58Speaker 1: were less than memorable as fun.
- 12:01Speaker 5: Dante's Peak absolutely terrified me when I was a child. Yes,
- 12:06Speaker 5: and and the grandmother in the water and the acid.
- 12:10Speaker 5: It was embedded into my brain when I was like six,
- 12:14Speaker 5: and then I always thought the movie was Volcano, and
- 12:16Speaker 5: so I watched Volcano.
- 12:17Speaker 8: I was like, this is not what I'm looking for.
- 12:19Speaker 1: And what about So don't you don't you lump Joe
- 12:22Speaker 1: and the Volcano in there, Joe Versus the volcans, the
- 12:26Speaker 1: Volcano with Tom Hanks where he met his wife.
- 12:31Speaker 2: Volcano was with Tommy Lee Jones, and and.
- 12:36Speaker 5: And it's like the one where a volcano like explodes
- 12:38Speaker 5: in the middle of Vegas, La or something, well.
- 12:43Speaker 1: Like it might.
- 12:45Speaker 2: So I googled volcano movie. Here's what the most frequently
- 12:48Speaker 2: asked question. Yes, is the film Volcano based on a true.
- 12:52Speaker 8: Story in La So it is La? Okay?
- 12:56Speaker 1: How many volcano movies? Is there a list of volcano movies?
- 12:59Speaker 8: There probably a fair amount.
- 13:00Speaker 1: I'm sure there are. I'd like to know because I
- 13:03Speaker 1: can think of three. And I never saw Joe Versus
- 13:07Speaker 1: the Volcano. It's dumb, Yeah, isn't it like there's a
- 13:10Speaker 1: it's sort of a comedy about sacrificing somebody to a volcano.
- 13:13Speaker 5: Yeah, let's see, there's Volcano Dante's Peak, you got twenty twelve,
- 13:17Speaker 5: the Volcano Rescue from Wakari.
- 13:20Speaker 1: You've got oh, I know, Krakatoa, East of Java, Lava.
- 13:24Speaker 8: There's a lot of movies.
- 13:26Speaker 5: These are also including movies just with volcanoes in them.
- 13:29Speaker 8: M h, there's a lot.
- 13:31Speaker 1: Yeah, Krakatoa, East of Java. That was a big, big
- 13:34Speaker 1: movie back in the like sixties, early sixties. I think, okay, zaying,
- 13:39Speaker 1: you've given us something to think about. Thanks guys, thank
- 13:44Speaker 1: you be one of the last callers on on that.
- 13:48Speaker 2: I just remember playing the hot lava game when you
- 13:51Speaker 2: were Oh yeah, the floor.
- 13:53Speaker 1: Yeah, it's one of the best games. What was you'd
- 13:57Speaker 1: burn Oh so you had to go around on the
- 13:59Speaker 1: first you.
- 14:01Speaker 5: Could throw a pillow on the ground so you could
- 14:03Speaker 5: get to something if it.
- 14:04Speaker 1: Was too far because the pillow would not be burned up.
- 14:07Speaker 8: By the hot exactly exactly.
- 14:09Speaker 1: You had to go fast. Yeah, I remember. I remember
- 14:11Speaker 1: doing that as well.
- 14:12Speaker 5: Yeah, we did that throughout my whole basement once and
- 14:16Speaker 5: it got dangerous.
- 14:17Speaker 8: We also had tiled basement. Oh so you throw a
- 14:20Speaker 8: pillow on the floor and then you jump on it
- 14:22Speaker 8: and then you fall in the lava.
- 14:24Speaker 1: Well, I don't know, I don't knows. We're going to
- 14:26Speaker 1: get another phone call here. I I wanted to tell
- 14:29Speaker 1: you what happened to me last night. Okay, Well, and
- 14:32Speaker 1: this has happened, and there is a phone call coming in.
- 14:34Speaker 1: We'll go to it if we have time. I was, uh,
- 14:38Speaker 1: you know, how I thrown myself out of bed on occasion?
- 14:40Speaker 2: Oh, no, you did that again.
- 14:42Speaker 1: I did last night, and it was a dream and
- 14:45Speaker 1: I was I was trying to do a leg sweep
- 14:48Speaker 1: on somebody. I'm serious, somebody who was attacking me, and
- 14:52Speaker 1: I was trying to do a leg sweep and I
- 14:55Speaker 1: ended up throwing myself out of bed and onto the floor. No,
- 14:59Speaker 1: I was. I was lucky. I didn't hit anything. I
- 15:03Speaker 1: just kind of are we gonna have to start strapping?
- 15:06Speaker 1: I'm afraid?
- 15:06Speaker 8: So, my goodness, bell, doesn't that happen to other people?
- 15:10Speaker 8: Fall out of bed?
- 15:11Speaker 1: You have a dream or something and you end up
- 15:13Speaker 1: throwing yourself out of bed? All right, let's go to
- 15:15Speaker 1: the phone.
- 15:15Speaker 8: All right, last one?
- 15:18Speaker 1: All right? It CJ, H CJ. Where are you calling from?
- 15:22Speaker 2: Hello?
- 15:23Speaker 9: Hello, this is CJ calling from Milk Creek about drunken Shakespeare. O.
- 15:29Speaker 1: CJ. Can I ask before you do that? Have you
- 15:31Speaker 1: ever thrown yourself out of bed and while you've been
- 15:33Speaker 1: asleep at night?
- 15:36Speaker 9: No, but my husband had a nightmare once about a
- 15:39Speaker 9: manta ray and kicked me really.
- 15:41Speaker 8: Hot, specifically about a manta ray.
