- 2:56Daniel Moore: Well, god's Word has a lot to say about praise and worship.
- 2:59Daniel Moore: The purpose of praise and worship, as it relates to singing, dancing and praying, is to create an intimate space between you and the Lord, allowing Him to speak directly to your heart in such a way that you are drawn near unto Him.
- 3:12Daniel Moore: As a result, he is glorified and you go deeper into your identity with Him.
- 3:18Daniel Moore: So what are praise and worship?
- 3:21Daniel Moore: Well, if you ask a hundred people what are praise and worship, you would probably get a hundred different answers.
- 3:25Daniel Moore: This is because praise and worship.
- 3:25Daniel Moore: Well, if you ask a hundred people what are praise and worship, you would probably get a hundred different answers.
- 3:26Daniel Moore: This is because praise and worship is personal.
- 3:29Daniel Moore: It's uniquely touching the hearts of the believers.
- 3:32Daniel Moore: But you would also find a common theme in the answers the mouth sings what is in the heart.
- 3:38Daniel Moore: In Luke 6, 45, it says for out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.
- 3:44Daniel Moore: Praise and worship are opportunities to speak from your.
- 3:46Daniel Moore: Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.
- 3:46Daniel Moore: Praise and worship are opportunities to speak from your heart to the heart of God.
- 3:49Daniel Moore: When you praise and worship, you speak, you sing, you declare and you proclaim who God is and His power, as well as who you are as His child.
- 4:00Daniel Moore: Again, it reflects a connection, an intimate space between you and Him.
- 4:06Daniel Moore: Praise and worship are also these things Reading the Word, joining others to discuss the Word, giving, sharing your testimony and praying.
- 4:16Daniel Moore: The purpose of praise and worship is to create a connection between you and the Lord.
- 4:21Daniel Moore: It's a way to do spiritual warfare, which is critical in a believer's life.
- 4:25Daniel Moore: You know, the enemy prowls around like a lion waiting to devour you, such as it speaks of in 1 Peter 5.8.
- 4:32Daniel Moore: Praise and worship done in spirit and truth creates a protective wall around your heart.
- 4:37Daniel Moore: The Bible does say, though, that we can overcome the enemy by the blood and the word of your testimony.
- 4:43Daniel Moore: Praise and worship are words of your testimony, your testimony of who God is and who you are in Him.
- 4:49Daniel Moore: You can read that scripture in Revelation 12 11.
- 4:52Daniel Moore: The Bible says to rejoice, pray and thank God, for this is His will.
- 4:58Daniel Moore: Praise and worship are ways to rejoice, to pray and thank God for what he is doing, what he has done and what he will do.
- 5:06Daniel Moore: Worship songs speak truth in their lyrics.
- 5:09Daniel Moore: When you join in song, the words speak to your soul and many may ask what is God's will?
- 5:16Daniel Moore: Well, the Word clearly states parts of His will is for us to rejoice.
- 5:21Daniel Moore: Worshiping and rejoicing are often overlooked parts of doing the will of God.
- 5:25Daniel Moore: Furthermore, many people receive a deeper understanding of God's will in other areas of their lives, while in praise and worship.
- 5:33Daniel Moore: Corporate praise and worship is important as well as personal praise and worship.
- 5:37Daniel Moore: God wants to hear your words, your voice, your cares and your heart.
- 5:43Daniel Moore: He wants you to enter into his presence.
- 5:45Daniel Moore: The Bible says that God inhabits or enthrones in the praises of his people.
- 5:51Daniel Moore: When you magnify God, singing of his wondrous works from the creation to the cross and into eternity, you invite him into your life.
- 5:59Daniel Moore: It honors his greatness and focuses your mind on him, no matter the season that you are walking.
- 6:06Daniel Moore: As we have found here, the purpose of praise and worship is to create an intimate space between you and the Lord.
- 6:12Daniel Moore: Praise and worship are part of God's great design for fellowship and communion both with the body of Christ and with Him.
- 6:20Daniel Moore: If you want a way to bring praise and worship and spirit and truth into your daily life, you can do that by worshiping the Father, magnifying His name, expressing your love for Him, step into His holy presence and be filled with the Holy Spirit.
- 6:39Daniel Moore: This week we have an awesome episode coming your way.
- 6:41Daniel Moore: Last year in June, we talked to some women about an awesome conference that was coming up.
- 6:45Daniel Moore: That conference year in June, we talked to some women about an awesome conference that was coming up.
- 6:46Daniel Moore: That conference came and went, which spawned a second one.
- 6:50Daniel Moore: It was a worship night back in January.
- 6:52Daniel Moore: Lots of testimonies and awesome stories have come out of these events and in the time that has passed since that day happened.
- 7:00Daniel Moore: Later this year another conference is coming your way.
- 7:03Daniel Moore: This week we're going to be sitting in with the girls from Rise Up 2024.
- 7:20Daniel Moore: Welcome to Connecting the Gap podcast.
- 7:22Daniel Moore: I'm Daniel Moore, the host for this podcast.
- 7:24Daniel Moore: Thank you guys for joining us this week and as we've been going into the month of May here, getting into June as most of you know that's been listening to my podcast we have kind of taken off on a different path here over this.
- 7:36Daniel Moore: Last month, after doing our extensive study that we started the year with, that finished last month, we've done a lot of interviews and different kinds of episodes here over the last few weeks and this week is no exception.
- 7:49Daniel Moore: Last year, around June 22nd of 23, I went back and looked episode 124, we had some girls in the studio and they came in and talked about a conference that was getting ready to take place and at that time it was a women's type conference, a praise and worship conference that was taking place in Branson, and we had a couple of episodes that took place there and I'm thrilled to have them all back here again today.
- 8:18Daniel Moore: It's almost a year later.
- 8:19Daniel Moore: Here we are sitting around this table again.
- 8:21Daniel Moore: It's hard to believe how time flies.
- 8:23Daniel Moore: For sure it just cruises right along, it's true, but as we know, as time goes along, especially in ministry, when God anoints something, he causes that to grow.
- 8:33Daniel Moore: So we know that within this last year, so many things have happened since then and we're going to talk about a lot of that today.
- 8:40Daniel Moore: We do have Rise Up 2024 coming here later this year and I'll let you guys give the dates on that here in just a little bit.
- 8:47Daniel Moore: I have Amber Sampson, kim McIntyre and Holly Hoyer here in the studio with me this week and we're going to be talking about that conference and how things have changed.
- 8:56Daniel Moore: There's been a lot of things that's actually changed over this last year.
- 9:00Daniel Moore: With this conference within itself, I think what I want to go ahead and start with here this week.
- 9:06Daniel Moore: As far as I think that people, it would benefit you to go back and listen to last year's episode again before you get into this episode.
- 9:16Daniel Moore: So because of that, to kind of force people to do that, I'm going to bypass all of the introductions and that kind of thing, because last year we did that on the other episode and so in order to get as much content into this week as we possibly can, I just want to go ahead and get to the core of what's going on here and I think if you go back and listen to last year's episode anyway, it's going to give you the initial vision of what the Rise Up Conference was all about.
- 9:40Daniel Moore: And I think when you listen to that and then what we discussed this week, I think our listeners out there will kind of put two and two together and realize how God has really manifested himself within this ministry and how it's really grown and transformed into something bigger.
- 9:55Daniel Moore: It's definitely grown into something considerably different at this point.
- 9:59Daniel Moore: So I encourage you again.
- 10:01Daniel Moore: That's episode 124 that we put out almost exactly a year ago.
- 10:05Daniel Moore: We're about a month shy of that.
- 10:06Daniel Moore: So what I want to start with.
- 10:09Daniel Moore: Of course, last year we had the conference and then you guys also had a praise and worship night back in January as well.
- 10:15Daniel Moore: I think what we want to start with this week is let's just talk a little bit about last year's conference that took place in Branson at the Keter Center up there at College of the Ozarks, and it was a beautiful place.
- 10:31Daniel Moore: I mean, I'd never been there before and everything that you guys talked about in last year's episode was definitely that and more.
- 10:38Daniel Moore: I think they've got a beautiful place up there and I really enjoyed even the little conference room.
- 10:46Daniel Moore: Everything was so personal, I felt like, and it was just a very intimate setting for what took place and lots of things happened.
- 10:54Daniel Moore: So let's go ahead and talk about last year's conference as we get started.
- 10:58Daniel Moore: Between you guys and the other leadership, you've got some other leadership that helps you guys put all of this stuff together.
- 11:05Daniel Moore: How did last year's conference impact all of you?
- 11:09Daniel Moore: First of all as leaders, as you went into that last year expecting something, because we know that when God birthed something inside of us and we decide to go ahead and push forward and get on that path that God puts us on, god knows what's going to happen up in front of us, but we have no clue.
- 11:26Daniel Moore: We're kind of like on a blind date.
- 11:29Daniel Moore: We're just taking off and doing things blindly and just living on faith and a lot of this stuff, and so it can be scary and it can put us in situations sometimes where we get super nervous, anxiety.
- 11:41Daniel Moore: All that stuff can come into play when we're trying to put something together, especially when a lot of people are involved.
- 11:47Daniel Moore: And so, as you guys went into last year's conference and then came out of that, how did that impact you guys, from how you perceived it from the beginning to what actually happened and how you perceived it after the fact?
- 12:03Daniel Moore: I think we would all agree that God did more than we expected and we had high expectations.
- 12:09Daniel Moore: We were praying that women would enter in and worship freely, and they did.
- 12:16Daniel Moore: We had a very gifted and anointed worship team, a leader that flew in from tex, Melissa Garber.
- 12:24Daniel Moore: She did an amazing job.
- 12:25Daniel Moore: She's gifted in prophetic worship and a lot of us, starting with me, had never been exposed to prophetic worship.
- 12:35Daniel Moore: So that was something that really impacted me personally and I heard several testimonies from others that said I had never entered into the throne room in quite that way before the testimonies.
- 12:50Daniel Moore: We had speakers who gave testimony of just the redemptive power of God.
- 12:55Daniel Moore: There was a huge impact among the three of us just to see what God can do with a messy, yucky situation that nobody wants to talk about.
- 13:06Daniel Moore: You know secret sin that's been in the closet and how God, when that's revealed and when you expose it to the light of Christ, it can impact so many people for the kingdom.
- 13:18Daniel Moore: And we just saw.
- 13:19Daniel Moore: We saw that the effect of women who had been through abortion, women who had struggled with childhood trauma, abuse, just so many different things that God did through those testimonies.
- 13:31Daniel Moore: And then prayer.
- 13:35Daniel Moore: God did so much through prayer, Daniel, Just us witnessing it was impactful.
- 13:42Daniel Moore: Just to see those circles of prayer, it was very intimate.
- 13:47Daniel Moore: You referenced that word and when you gather a group of six women together in prayer fervent prayer, God does show up and he shows up big, and it was evidenced through testimonies we received after.
- 14:01Daniel Moore: But I think, probably the biggest impact for us and I hate to speak for all three of us, but we've had enough conversations that I'm confident in this I think the impact was we recognized the vastness of what God was calling us to do and how the impact was so much farther reaching than we had anticipated.
- 14:22Daniel Moore: And then to recognize God chose us, you know, to do that it's humbling.
- 14:30Daniel Moore: It's so humbling we all three, our entire team just feels incredibly humbled that God would allow us to see what he's doing.
- 14:39Daniel Moore: And how many did you guys end up having come to the conference?
- 14:43Kim McIntire: We had about 132 okay in attendance last year.
- 14:47Kim McIntire: Yeah, it was.
- 14:48Daniel Moore: I mean it was amazing because and I I ran sound and the projection and stuff and it was just amazing.
- 14:55Daniel Moore: Even sitting there doing that, I just I could feel the presence of god so strong in that room it was it was amazing.
- 15:01Daniel Moore: It really was, and I'm like you.
- 15:03Daniel Moore: I I'm familiar with prophetic worship because I've watched it really was.
- 15:04Daniel Moore: And I'm like you I I'm familiar with prophetic worship because I've watched it on youtube and whatever.
- 15:07Daniel Moore: But that is the first in-person service that I've ever attended where that actually happened and it is a whole different atmosphere.
- 15:14Daniel Moore: It is, it's a lot different, yeah, and I really enjoyed that.
- 15:17Daniel Moore: Of course, I got to enjoy it again in january.
- 15:19Daniel Moore: Yeah, we'll talk about that later.
- 15:21Daniel Moore: But uh, how about the rest, the, the other two?
- 15:23Daniel Moore: What do you think the impact was for you guys?
- 15:28Kim McIntire: I know, on a personal level, I received some breakthrough that I didn't know I needed or really wasn't.
- 15:39Kim McIntire: I don't even know if I was seeking it, but I, just towards the end of the conference, I knew that the Lord had something for me.
- 15:45Kim McIntire: And so there, in the last final piece of the conference, that breakthrough really came and it's been, it's just shifted me personally, spiritually, and so I'm very grateful for that.
- 15:59Kim McIntire: It was just such a, as you know, the conference itself was unique.
- 16:04Kim McIntire: It was just such a, you know, the conference itself was unique.
- 16:07Kim McIntire: I'd never been to an event, a conference, in that sort of setting, where we're sitting around tables and, you know, we didn't have a headliner speaker, we had just girls that you know rubbed shoulders with us and just shared their stories, girls that rubbed shoulders with us and just shared their stories.
- 16:28Kim McIntire: I think it goes to show you never know what people have walked through or what people are currently walking through.
- 16:30Kim McIntire: But there's just something so healing when somebody gets up and says, hey, I've walked X, y and Z road.
- 16:37Kim McIntire: It's that testimony, it's that do it again in me.
- 16:42Kim McIntire: You healed her, you can heal me, and it opens the door for people to lay it at the Lord's feet and to get rid of it, to shed that old clothes, that old outfit and put on a new garment.
- 16:54Kim McIntire: And so it was so fun to.
- 16:57Kim McIntire: I remember when we were the conference was over, we went out for lunch and it was just so fun to talk about what people were saying and there was just such a joy in the room, there was a healing in the room, people confessing things that they had never confessed before, and so there was a real freedom and joy.
- 17:19Kim McIntire: Yeah, it was just such a beautiful thing.
- 17:23Kim McIntire: Yeah, it really was amazing.
- 17:26Daniel Moore: Holly, what about you?
- 17:27Holly Hoyer: For me, I think it was the Lord did exceedingly, abundantly more than I could ask, think or imagine.
- 17:35Holly Hoyer: It was just from the first note of worship to the last amen.
- 17:40Holly Hoyer: It was just all God, amen, and it was humbling and precious yeah.
- 17:49Daniel Moore: Can I add one more thing?
- 17:50Daniel Moore: Sure, this was very impactful for us as a team as well.
- 17:54Daniel Moore: We began praying months before conference and we had an ongoing list of prayer points, lord asking the Lord to do this and this and this, and he did all of it and more.
- 18:05Daniel Moore: And I just want to I always want to go back to the power of prayer points, lord asking the Lord to do this and this and this, and he did all of it and more.
- 18:06Daniel Moore: And I just want to, I always want to go back to the power of prayer.
- 18:09Daniel Moore: When we ask, when we seek, when we knock, we will receive and we will find, we will receive.
- 18:18Daniel Moore: So all credit to the Lord right.
- 18:21Daniel Moore: He did it.
- 18:23Kim McIntire: And I think, though, too, we've talked about this that in the conference, when it was over we would talk about, you could feel that the conference was bathed in prayer.
- 18:32Kim McIntire: Every piece of the conference, the details, they were bathed in prayer, and so that changed everything.
- 18:38Kim McIntire: We could have showed up and said well, god, you asked us to do a conference, here we are, we've done our part.
- 18:45Kim McIntire: But if we wouldn't have went in with prayer and covered every detail, the nooks and the crannies, I think the conference, the impact, would have been drastically different, and so, yeah, like Kim's saying, it changed everything.
- 19:02Daniel Moore: Yeah Well, I know.
- 19:03Daniel Moore: You know, as I sit there and I was listening to some of the speakers that spoke that evening, I was so thankful for people that will use their baggage to help other people and not hide it in a closet.
- 19:16Daniel Moore: You know, I grew up in a type of church atmosphere where it seems like a lot of things were hidden and a lot of times it felt like everybody in leadership was perfect and never made mistakes, never made a mistake in their life, and you just never heard them talk anything about any of their personal stuff.
- 19:31Daniel Moore: And you know they're not perfect.
- 19:33Daniel Moore: They went through something somewhere.
- 19:34Daniel Moore: They had to, because Satan fights all of us.
- 19:36Daniel Moore: But it just speaks so much when somebody will actually get up and give the trip that they went through in life to try to get to where they are today, to be the person that God's called them to be, and as embarrassing as situations can be, or if it's something you've been through that you don't want anybody to know about because it's just that intimate of a type of thing that's happened or whatever for people that can actually do what God calls them to do to stand up and speak about those things to help other people.
- 20:09Kim McIntire: Yeah.
- 20:10Daniel Moore: Just blows me away.
- 20:11Daniel Moore: And you know, at the conference the speakers that we had there shared some crazy stories about their lives and the places that they've been, and I know it took a lot for them to get up there and share all of that and I know it took a lot for them to get up there and share all of that.
- 20:25Daniel Moore: But the lives that were changed out of all of that and even beyond, because we know that any time we go to a church service or we go to a conference or we go to something like that, it usually doesn't stay in that room.
- 20:37Daniel Moore: We know that with God things expand and I know that people took things probably from that conference, took it home with them and they had somebody at home or somewhere else that they knew was in that type of situation and they shared that and that probably that touched lives elsewhere with people that wasn't even there.
- 20:55Daniel Moore: And so kudos to everybody that got up and spoke and poured their heart out, to all of the women that were at that conference.
- 21:04Daniel Moore: I know, you know my, my wife, she loved it.
- 21:07Daniel Moore: Good, of course, we were on the verge of a vacation when that happened last year.
- 21:12Daniel Moore: We actually left straight from the conference and headed to Colorado, and so we had a lot of time to talk about things after we left and I was just overjoyed with just what she ended up getting out of it, because church services are one thing and you can get certain things out of church, but then when you go to a conference you get something completely different.
- 21:32Daniel Moore: Especially in a more intimate type setting, god can really work and deal with things.
- 21:36Daniel Moore: It seems like a lot better when you're in that type of a situation, but it's I know, even for myself, being, you know, one of the few guys that was there.
- 21:45Daniel Moore: It impacted me.
- 21:47Daniel Moore: I mean I just I enjoyed just watching every.
- 21:50Daniel Moore: It brought me back to some of my old, younger days, some of the things that I'd done, you know, in the past with other churches that I'd been to.
- 21:57Daniel Moore: It kind of reminded me of some of those moments.
- 22:01Daniel Moore: I don't see very many of those moments anymore.
- 22:03Daniel Moore: Sometimes it seems like, and it was kind of a nice change of scenery we're so grateful for that, yeah I really enjoyed that.
- 22:11Daniel Moore: So I know people have came back to you guys and shared their hearts and told you you know what god did for them through this conference.
- 22:19Daniel Moore: Share some testimonies that you guys have received, that people have shared with you guys.
- 22:26Holly Hoyer: Well, one that I just had a recap with this week was a mother who was estranged from her family, from one of her daughters, and hadn't seen a granddaughter in eight years.
- 22:39Holly Hoyer: And she just sent me a voice memo this week just reminding me of all the details of what God had did.
- 22:48Holly Hoyer: And he really brought them together at that conference again.
- 22:52Holly Hoyer: She invited them, they agreed to come, god restored their family.
- 22:57Holly Hoyer: She got to see her granddaughter that she hadn't seen in eight years.
- 23:05Holly Hoyer: And one thing that was really personal for her is she had had an abortion at a young age and she had asked the lord to forgive her.
- 23:12Holly Hoyer: But she could never forgive herself and through just the power of god that moved um through the conference last year, she said forgiveness, came at the table she was sitting at and she just said her life, she let go of all that shame and God truly transformed her heart and her family in that moment.
- 23:37Holly Hoyer: And so we're still rejoicing with her for what God did in her.
- 23:41Holly Hoyer: That's awesome yeah.
- 23:43Daniel Moore: Well, satan likes to call us out by the baggage that we have.
- 23:48Daniel Moore: He likes to put those labels on us.
- 23:50Daniel Moore: It's true, and it's hard to get past that.
- 23:51Daniel Moore: If you actually get in the Word and you study true forgiveness, it almost seems like an impossible task because us as humans, we have a hard time.
- 24:03Daniel Moore: We can say we forgive somebody, but true forgiveness means it's not really there in your mind anymore.
- 24:09Daniel Moore: but a lot of us have a catalog back there and some little thing just seems to keep hanging on and you just can't quite get past that one little thing and it never really lets you get to that point where you have true 100 forgiveness in a situation and nine times out of ten it takes god to get you past that point.
- 24:27Daniel Moore: And that goes even within our own selves, and we're hardest on our own selves.
- 24:31Daniel Moore: We're our own worst critics you guys heard that so many times and you know no matter.
- 24:36Daniel Moore: It seems like no matter what we do for god, and how big and how huge it was, and how many lives were touched, how many lives were changed, how many people came to know the Lord through whatever you did, satan's always going to be right there on your shoulder telling you that you did this wrong and you did that wrong and why didn't you do this?
- 24:50Daniel Moore: Why didn't you do that?
- 24:51Daniel Moore: That's not going to last.
- 24:52Daniel Moore: He's throwing all these lies all over the place and us as humans, we have a tendency to listen to that stuff more than we really like to acknowledge that we do, and it can really work on a person, and so when someone can come to a point where they've had something like that in their life and they can actually say I truly forgave myself and I can move forward now, I can only imagine the freedom that she is walking in right now.
- 25:14Daniel Moore: And that's what you know living for Christ is all about.
- 25:16Daniel Moore: Is that freedom?
- 25:17Daniel Moore: We have to get to that point where we can walk in that and claim it and know that Satan has no hold on me anymore.
- 25:23Daniel Moore: Was there any other?
- 25:26Daniel Moore: testimonies, you guys, there are so many, but two that specifically stand out to me, and it's because we as a team were praying that the prayer team would receive words of knowledge, because we knew they would be praying with women they didn't know.
- 25:38Daniel Moore: We had a lot of women coming that we didn't know they were just invited by someone, and so we wanted God to give words of knowledge to our prayer team and he did.
- 25:48Daniel Moore: And so a lady that I'm friends with had just said you know, the lady was crying.
- 25:54Daniel Moore: I could tell she was distressed.
- 25:56Daniel Moore: I didn't know exactly how to pray for her.
- 25:58Daniel Moore: She wasn't sharing really, but the Lord dropped into my spirit what her battle was and I was able to pray that over her and for her to know God saw her and heard her in that moment was breakthrough for her the life changer.
- 26:15Daniel Moore: She needed to know.
- 26:16Daniel Moore: God saw her in her pain, yes, and my friend had no way of knowing what she was battling, apart from a word of knowledge.
- 26:24Daniel Moore: So we're very open.
- 26:26Daniel Moore: We cast a far-reaching net to anyone who would want to come, but we also want people to know that we believe the spiritual gifts are for today.
- 26:34Daniel Moore: So we pray for words of knowledge, we pray for there to be message in tongues, interpretation of tongues, we pray for healings, miracles, signs, wonders, deliverances, things that happened when the apostles were walking on the earth and they saw demons leave in the name of Jesus.
- 26:51Daniel Moore: You know, we pray for those things and we saw those things.
- 26:55Daniel Moore: There were so many levels and so many layers Daniel of testimony, from breakthrough, deliverance, you know, strongholds broken to God imparting the spiritual gifts into people that hadn't experienced, maybe, those specific things.
- 27:13Kim McIntire: I was reading over some of the testimonies and just some highlights.
- 27:17Kim McIntire: People shared they were healed of anxiety, sins or hurts that they'd been holding on to, that they didn't even realize were still lingering.
- 27:27Kim McIntire: Those things they were set free of, they were healed from those things.
- 27:32Kim McIntire: One of my personal favorite stories is somebody in the room received confirmation that God wanted her to write a book.
- 27:43Kim McIntire: Yes, wow, yeah, that would have to be a God thing, right and her to write a book.
- 27:45Kim McIntire: Yes, wow, yeah, and that was her that had to be a God thing Right and that was the first book, so it's not like she's an ongoing author.
- 27:50Kim McIntire: No, that was her first one and that book is getting ready to be published Just in a few weeks.
- 27:55Daniel Moore: I can't wait yeah.
- 27:57Kim McIntire: Yeah.
- 27:57Kim McIntire: And then just how the Lord through worship, there's a few, two or three testimonies about just how, in the worship, they were just taken to different places that they hadn't been before, um, you know, just experienced the presence of the lord in a way they'd never experienced him before.
- 28:17Kim McIntire: And so there is, like kim was saying, there's, all different kinds of testimonies from the event.
- 28:23Kim McIntire: I know the men in the room were blessed.
- 28:29Kim McIntire: It was a women's conference, but I think every man was touched.
- 28:33Kim McIntire: I can't really think of one that was like well, that was great ladies, they received as well.
- 28:49Daniel Moore: It's just so neat to kind of think back even further than than I have of just what God has done, what God did that day that weekend.
- 28:52Daniel Moore: We're going to take a break here for a moment.
- 28:53Daniel Moore: When we come back we'll continue with the girls about Rise Up 2024 on this week's episode of Connecting the Gap.
- 29:19chataboutjesus.com: We'll be back right after this, the top.
- 29:20chataboutjesus.com: But after seeing person after person either pass or fail, it makes you wonder is being someone important, really what we should be striving for?
- 29:27chataboutjesus.com: Isn't there more to life than that?
- 29:29chataboutjesus.com: What really fulfills a person?
- 29:30chataboutjesus.com: Well, it actually isn't a what, but a who.
- 29:33chataboutjesus.com: It's Jesus.
- 29:34chataboutjesus.com: He has a purpose for your life.

- 29:58Daniel Moore: Welcome back to this week's episode.
- 30:00Daniel Moore: We've been talking to Amber Sampson, holly Hoyer and Kim McIntyre about Rise Up Worship Conference and we're going to be talking about the one that's coming up later this fall as we wrap up the second half here of this week's episode of Connecting the Gap.
- 30:14Daniel Moore: Without further ado, let's get back into the conversation.
- 30:17Daniel Moore: We know it speaks to the power of prayer because, as we have talked about before I think we were talking about it earlier, either off the mic or on the mic, I can't remember now at this point but whenever you pray over things and you allow God to prepare ahead of you, it makes such a huge difference and I think that spoke volumes in this conference, because this is the very first event you guys have ever put together and having that amount of women coming to it, the, everything that went together to put it all together, with the, the meal and just everything.
- 30:51Daniel Moore: There was a lot to that and a lot of times, when you have a first event like that, one of your worries is is people going to really open up?
- 30:59Daniel Moore: Are they?
- 31:00Daniel Moore: Are they going to be?
- 31:01Daniel Moore: They've never been in this setting before with this group of people.
- 31:04Daniel Moore: Right, I'm in this kind of scenario.
- 31:06Daniel Moore: Are they actually going to open themselves up and be vulnerable?
- 31:09Daniel Moore: Are they going to open themselves up and be transparent and allow god to do something in their life?
- 31:15Daniel Moore: And it was evident very quickly, once that conference started that evening, once the everything started kicking in and started rolling, that God was in that room.
- 31:24Daniel Moore: Yeah, because you would have thought that was night five of a week-long event.
- 31:29Daniel Moore: I mean the way that everything went and the way that just the brokenness just opened up and spilled on the floor and God took it away.
- 31:37Daniel Moore: Yeah, and just all the like you guys said, the gifts yes, they were flowing.
- 31:40Daniel Moore: That's the first service I've been in a long time where I saw so many of the different gifts displayed in one setting within a two-hour span.
- 31:46Daniel Moore: It's just not as common these days that you see all of that.
- 31:50Daniel Moore: And I think that, as I just sat there and watched it all unfold and watched everything that took place and just saw how God was working on people, and it was just amazing to me and you could tell that there was a prayer covering over all of that.
- 32:04Daniel Moore: You could tell that there were hours and hours of prayer involved in putting that together.
- 32:09Daniel Moore: God just came in and just started breaking them chains and them strongholds and it was an amazing thing to see.
- 32:15Daniel Moore: I just want to speak to that for a moment.
- 32:16Daniel Moore: There's a group of women who meet monthly to pray, specifically Daniel, over the points of the conference.
- 32:25Daniel Moore: Some of them aren't even able to attend.
- 32:27Daniel Moore: One is a caregiver for her husband whose health really keeps her home Other than Sunday morning church and Wednesday night church.
- 32:35Daniel Moore: Her kids give her breaks now and again, but without a miracle she will not be able to attend the conference.
- 32:42Daniel Moore: But, I want to give honor to whom honors.
- 32:45Holly Hoyer: Yes, for sure.
- 32:46Daniel Moore: When she can't be at the prayer meeting for Rise Up on the first Monday of the month, she will text me and say I know I'm not there, but I've got my prayer points and I'm praying through them as you guys pray.
- 32:58Daniel Moore: So I cannot say enough about how God has honored the prayers of women who are gathering.
- 33:05Daniel Moore: Yeah.
- 33:06Daniel Moore: Not just our team.
- 33:07Daniel Moore: I mean, of course, our team is praying Right.
- 33:09Daniel Moore: These are women that they just have a passion and a heart to see God move in this conference.
- 33:16Daniel Moore: Yeah.
- 33:16Daniel Moore: And they're willing to give, like you said, hours.
- 33:19Daniel Moore: I mean so far I think we've spent nine hours in prayer just for the points of the conference, and that's just together.
- 33:26Daniel Moore: I have no idea how often they're praying, but I know that they are committed and I do believe that is why God's hand and the anointing is so strong on this movement.
- 33:37Daniel Moore: In fact, I don't think we've seen anything yet, Daniel.
- 33:41Daniel Moore: I just want to speak that in faith.
- 33:43Daniel Moore: Just the kickoff, oh faith.
- 33:43Daniel Moore: Just the kickoff.
- 33:44Daniel Moore: Oh, it's the kickoff, yes.
- 33:47Daniel Moore: We're going to see more.
- 33:48Daniel Moore: It's going to be deeper than it was last year.
- 33:52Daniel Moore: Yeah, I mean, I know what the Lord has spoken into my spirit about August 2nd and 3rd of 2024.
- 33:58Daniel Moore: And I'm excited to see it, more so than I was last year.
- 34:03Daniel Moore: Yeah, god's got great things ahead.
- 34:05Daniel Moore: He does, I'm sure of it.
- 34:07Daniel Moore: Yes, so we had the conference last fall and then you guys decided to do something in January as a co-ed type of worship night, and so let's talk about that for a minute.
- 34:21Daniel Moore: How did that come about?
- 34:22Daniel Moore: What was the reasoning that you thought that that was something necessary to do to combine the guys with the girls?
- 34:29Daniel Moore: Just kind of give us an overview of what happened with that one.
- 34:33Holly Hoyer: I think it was a conference last year that I felt like the Lord said to me get ready, you're going to do a worship night.
- 34:41Holly Hoyer: And so just through that, I just shared the vision and we just began to put together through prayer.
- 34:50Holly Hoyer: And the Lord, in January, launched Rise Up Worship Nights and we just felt like that was for whoever wanted to come together and hear testimonies and praise and worship and pray and it was just a beautiful night.
- 35:07Holly Hoyer: The Lord brought it all together on a sub-zero night and we had a huge crowd for the night that it was.
- 35:16Holly Hoyer: It was bitter cold that night.
- 35:20Daniel Moore: And the Chiefs were playing.
- 35:22Daniel Moore: But we still had men in the house.
- 35:24Daniel Moore: I just want to give a shout out to the men who chose worship night over the Chiefs game, because we had a very good representation.
- 35:33Daniel Moore: On the behalf of men, for sure, yeah.
- 35:37Daniel Moore: Yeah, considering that day, the way it started coming together with, like you said, with the weather and different things, it was kind of a little sketchy there for a little bit.
- 35:45Daniel Moore: And I thought when it all came together there was a good turnout and it was again a very nice, intimate setting, an excellent night of worship, and of course, you used, for the majority, the same worship team that you had before, and so I know you got some good response out of that one as well.
- 36:04Daniel Moore: What's some things that came out of that one?
- 36:08Kim McIntire: I think one of the things that really stands out to me is that we opened the front for prayer.
- 36:15Kim McIntire: Um, at the end of the night, we um just had our prayer teams come forward and they were lining the stage and they're the overwhelming response.
- 36:26Kim McIntire: I mean, we were like pulling people in to help pray for people so we could get people through through the lines, and so, um it, people are so hungry right now.
- 36:37Kim McIntire: There is a real hunger within people for more of god.
- 36:41Kim McIntire: Yes, and we're seeing that.
- 36:43Kim McIntire: It's affecting I don't really have the words to describe it, but we feel that hunger and we're seeing it, and so I think we're all kind of like Lord, what's our response to that?
- 36:55Kim McIntire: But that was one thing that stood out to me.
- 36:58Kim McIntire: It was just a beautiful night.
- 37:02Kim McIntire: What stood out to you girls?
- 37:07Holly Hoyer: Just a powerful night of worship, just the hunger that people had and just that they pressed through to come in.
- 37:16Holly Hoyer: We had people drive in from Tulsa that day and I mean it was a terrible, cold, treacherous day and yet they pressed through to come in and the presence of God was so manifest.
- 37:30Holly Hoyer: Really.
- 37:31Holly Hoyer: It was like a manifest presence of God, yeah, and just met people where they were at in such personal ways.
- 37:38Holly Hoyer: That really stands out to me, just through it all.
- 37:42Holly Hoyer: He showed up, and showed up in a mighty way.
- 37:47Daniel Moore: The thing that stood out to me was a man gave testimony to being at the Rise Up Conference in 2023.
- 37:59Daniel Moore: His wife was one of the speakers and he was there to support her and to pray.
- 38:03Daniel Moore: His wife was one of the speakers and he was there to support her and to pray and to hear him share the impact of the Women's Prayer Conference.
- 38:16Daniel Moore: that impact on him personally, I think that was the first time that I saw beyond Rise Up, being a women's conference, it was like the lord was stirring something in my spirit.
- 38:28Daniel Moore: This is one man whose life was impacted to this degree because he was in the room for a women's prayer conference and it was so much more than his wife spoke.
- 38:40Daniel Moore: I mean, his wife speaking was definitely part of that impact, but him being in the atmosphere of worship, the atmosphere of prayer, the atmosphere of the spiritual gifts flowing freely, I knew in that moment God's getting ready to do something different, but I didn't exactly know when or how or what.
- 38:58Daniel Moore: But I knew it was going to shift after that worship night and it truly did, daniel.
- 39:03Daniel Moore: God was working something in all of us and we didn't even realize it.
- 39:08Daniel Moore: Yeah, yeah, that evening.
- 39:10Daniel Moore: You know you did have a couple speakers that night and I think probably a little bit more worship probably than what we had last fall.
- 39:18Daniel Moore: Yes, but it seems like so far, I think the recipe that you guys have used, that God's led you to use, throughout both of these events, has worked out great Because, regardless if there's been a lot more speaking or if there's not been as much speaking more worship, less worship, whatever it has met those needs in that room.
- 39:38Daniel Moore: That's right, that were there that needed to be met between both of those events.
- 39:42Daniel Moore: That were there that needed to be met between both of those events, and I think that it just speaks volumes again with how, whatever God puts into play and what he ever you know, that movement that he creates and then the people that he brings in behind to push it along the way and make all of that come together, it just speaks volumes, you know, for what God can do in people's lives.
- 40:04Daniel Moore: And you know both.
- 40:05Daniel Moore: I was, of course, I've been at both events and I feel like both events were so different in so many ways, but the results were the same and even better.
- 40:17Daniel Moore: I mean, it's just like it's weird.
- 40:19Daniel Moore: It's hard to even kind of describe that really you kind of have to be in the room.
- 40:23Daniel Moore: Yeah, you do, let's just be honest.
- 40:25Daniel Moore: For all the listeners that haven't attended one of these events.
- 40:29Daniel Moore: We can talk and, believe me, we can all day about the ways God is moving and the depths of it and the levels, because he's not only taking us deeper, he's taking us higher At the same time.
- 40:41Daniel Moore: It's a stretching literally.
- 40:43Daniel Moore: He's taking us higher at the same time.
- 40:44Daniel Moore: It's a stretching literally, and you can only comprehend what you experience in that moment, when the glory of the Lord is in the place, in the house.
- 40:52Daniel Moore: And so you know.
- 41:00Daniel Moore: I'm just going to give a shout out now to like, if you're thinking about it, don't think anymore.
- 41:02Daniel Moore: Yeah, click, go to the website and click and purchase the tickets and get one for a friend or two or three, because there's something for you at the rise of 2024 conference.
- 41:12Daniel Moore: You will not leave the same.
- 41:13Daniel Moore: God's going to meet you the way he's met every other person.
- 41:16Daniel Moore: I haven't heard from one person who attended the prayer conference in august or the worship night in January that did not leave profoundly impacted by what the?
- 41:27Daniel Moore: Lord did because it's him.
- 41:29Daniel Moore: Yes, it is.
- 41:29Daniel Moore: You know we're not doing anything but praying and believing and planning.
- 41:33Daniel Moore: That's what we're doing.
- 41:34Daniel Moore: God's doing the heavy lifting.
- 41:36Daniel Moore: Yeah, he is.
- 41:37Daniel Moore: And it shows.
- 41:38Daniel Moore: Yeah, and so we kind of got into that there for just a second.
- 41:43Daniel Moore: But you guys have transitioned this over to co-ed at this point, and even for this fall, for the one that's coming up in August.
- 41:52Daniel Moore: And so what has caused that shift?
- 41:56Daniel Moore: Because I know, you know, last year it was really heavy on your hearts that this is something the women needed, this is something that you guys wanted to put into place for the women to come in and get something from God or whatever.
- 42:06Daniel Moore: And so here we are, a year later and we've kind of transitioned it at this point.
- 42:11Daniel Moore: So what's behind all of that?
- 42:14Holly Hoyer: It's really a God story because we were heavy into planning Rise Up 2024 for another women's conference.
- 42:22Holly Hoyer: We were picking out gifts for the ladies and really, at the 11th hour, god shifted it and said this is for men and women.
- 42:36Holly Hoyer: And really that came through just several people reaching out saying my husband wants to come with me this year, my husband wants to come with me this year, my husband wants to come with me this year.
- 42:47Holly Hoyer: Another lady my husband wants to come with me this year.
- 42:50Holly Hoyer: And so I just remember, when I had received a text or a call again about someone asking for a ticket for her husband, that I just stopped and I just said, lord, are you wanting to shift this to include men this year?
- 43:07Holly Hoyer: And so I reached out to some of our leadership team and everybody was in agreement that it's time to shift.
- 43:17Holly Hoyer: So literally, I mean, we just stopped and just began to shift, and I think it's going to be an incredible year.
- 43:27Daniel Moore: I do too, I do too.
- 43:28Daniel Moore: So that's going to be a total change.
- 43:30Holly Hoyer: Yes, total change, having guys in the room.
- 43:32Daniel Moore: Yes.
- 43:32Daniel Moore: So looking at last year on how you guys had to prepare for it, because you all are women, so you were creating something for women.
- 43:39Daniel Moore: Last year.
- 43:40Daniel Moore: So that was kind of a no-brainer.
- 43:41Daniel Moore: It was kind of, you know, god was able to just throw things into place and you guys were able to, you know, pull all that together.
- 43:46Daniel Moore: So adding the men to the mix is going to be a whole other hurdle that you're going to have to jump, yeah, and so what have you done differently this year to try to get ready for August, now that you know that it's co-ed as far as your speakers and the worship and all that kind of thing, as far as your speakers and the worship and all that kind of thing?
- 44:02Holly Hoyer: Well, we're still in the shift, but so far, last year we were in the Silver Dollar City Parlor and this year we are in the Royal.
- 44:11Kim McIntire: Oak Forum, so like auditorium set up yeah.
- 44:15Daniel Moore: Which holds a lot more people.
- 44:16Daniel Moore: Yeah, more than double, more than double, yes, okay.
- 44:26Holly Hoyer: And so we've just Friday night we're going to come together and we'll all be together in the room we'll have um for the praise and worship and then we'll have testimonies that night.
- 44:32Holly Hoyer: Everybody will stay together.
- 44:34Holly Hoyer: Saturday morning when we come back, everybody will be in that room for um, the praise and worship time, and then we're going to do breakout sessions.
- 44:43Holly Hoyer: So the men are going to go to the Silver Dollar City Parlor and we're going to have two men share, one being Jay St Clair.
- 44:52Holly Hoyer: So we're excited that Jay has accepted the invitation to speak into our men that are going to be there.
- 45:01Holly Hoyer: Then we'll come back together at the end of all that and my husband, chris, is going to speak to all of us and really we're believing God for an impartation at the end.
- 45:15Holly Hoyer: The theme of this year's conference is burn, and so we want the word of God to burn in people's hearts and lives, the passion of God to burn in people's lives, and so there's going to be an impartation at the end that we're going to have an opportunity to pray over every person that's came to that conference and impart in them just a burning sensation in them of God yeah, that sounds exciting.
- 45:47Daniel Moore: Yeah, yeah, it is amazing.
- 45:48Kim McIntire: Yes, and to expound on that a little bit more is you know it's been so fun.
- 45:54Kim McIntire: You know, when you're walking with the lord and you're doing things, it's exciting and you don't always you really don't always see really too far in front of you.
- 46:03Kim McIntire: But he is confirmed more than enough times and, lord, you can keep confirming it too.
- 46:09Kim McIntire: But just in so many different ways that we've you know, things we've been a part of, we've listened to, we've seen, the Lord's confirmed the theme of the conference.
- 46:20Kim McIntire: The Lord's confirmed that men are supposed to be in the room.
- 46:23Kim McIntire: There's been moments where it's like, aha, I see it.
- 46:25Kim McIntire: Now I understand why men are coming this year and there's something for every man who comes and who is open and wants to receive from the Lord.
- 46:36Kim McIntire: There's something there.
- 46:38Kim McIntire: Even if you come with a closed heart, I believe he's going to knock on that heart.
- 46:41Kim McIntire: There is something there and there's going to be, I think, a richness, something deeper in the room, because the men are going to be in the room and I think it's going to shift families.
- 46:53Kim McIntire: It's going to shift the church.
- 46:56Kim McIntire: Amen, amen.
- 46:56Kim McIntire: Yeah, the Big C Church.
- 46:57Kim McIntire: There'll be a shift.
- 46:59Kim McIntire: I'm just excited.
- 47:01Kim McIntire: It's really exciting.
- 47:03Daniel Moore: So you kind of hit on it just a little bit there.
- 47:06Daniel Moore: Some other prayers that you guys have had as you've been going along this journey.
- 47:10Daniel Moore: Have you had some almost impossible obstacles that look like that you're going to have to try to hurdle over, but God has, maybe at the last minute or whatever, removed that roadblock and answered that prayer in a mighty way?
- 47:24Daniel Moore: Or how has God been working through all of that with answering your prayers as this has went along?
- 47:29Holly Hoyer: I think one thing that God has really shown up and shown out with is provision.
- 47:36Daniel Moore: Yes.
- 47:38Holly Hoyer: I think we were all concerned of how are we going to fund this, and we want to keep it affordable for everyone that comes, and God has just been blessing us.
- 47:50Holly Hoyer: People will just hand us a check or just sow seeds.
- 47:55Holly Hoyer: It's been incredible, really, for sure.
- 47:59Daniel Moore: He keeps bringing us back to that truth that he's Jehovah Jireh.
- 48:02Holly Hoyer: Yeah, absolutely.
- 48:04Daniel Moore: And I'm just going to give a tangible example, and that is we have a pretty large worship team and we wanted to be able to bless them with accommodations and a family blessed with accommodations for the worship team.
- 48:19Daniel Moore: Because some of them do not live here in Missouri.
- 48:22Daniel Moore: Right.
- 48:23Daniel Moore: Yes, we'll explain why you're saying that, so that the audience will know.
- 48:26Daniel Moore: And everyone's doing some degree of travel.
- 48:29Daniel Moore: Yeah.
- 48:29Daniel Moore: You know, and people have different financial situations, Daniel.
- 48:32Daniel Moore: It's just true.
- 48:33Daniel Moore: And so to be able to help people and not be asking something of them that would put them in a difficult space, I don't know.
- 48:43Daniel Moore: I'm just really thankful that God sees all that.
- 48:45Daniel Moore: And he provides, and again it's another answer to prayer Layers of that.
- 48:51Daniel Moore: Yeah, and there's nothing better than having confirmation come behind you as the different blocks are put into place.
- 48:57Daniel Moore: The puzzle pieces are put together, yeah, and God just puts his stamp on that.
- 49:01Daniel Moore: Yeah, it's like that's done, that's together, and God just puts his stamp on that and it's like that's done, even people you know.
- 49:05Daniel Moore: God providing the right people.
- 49:06Daniel Moore: We know the speakers have been chosen by God.
- 49:08Daniel Moore: We know the worship team has been chosen by God.
- 49:11Daniel Moore: We know the people that are just the hands and feet you know doing set up, doing tear down.
- 49:16Daniel Moore: They're chosen by God.
- 49:18Daniel Moore: This lead team was chosen by God.
- 49:20Daniel Moore: So the prayer team, I mean he's provided so many things Plus finances, hallelujah, yeah for sure and that was kind of on my heart was the speakers.
- 49:31Kim McIntire: You know, when you get started of planning the conference you're at a blank slate.
- 49:37Kim McIntire: You're like God who should speak?
- 49:40Kim McIntire: Because we all have a testimony.
- 49:41Kim McIntire: We all do, all four of us here in this room.
- 49:43Kim McIntire: We all have a testimony.
- 49:43Kim McIntire: We all do All four of us here in this room.
- 49:44Kim McIntire: We all have a testimony, and so it's like who?
- 49:47Kim McIntire: And so well, what about her?
- 49:50Kim McIntire: What about you know?
- 49:51Kim McIntire: So we'll make a list, and it's interesting to see how the Lord brought everybody together.
- 49:57Kim McIntire: And every we were with our speakers recently and to see them all at the table together the team recently, and to see them all at the table together the team and to just know every one of them was picked by God and everybody was firmed up in a different way for us, and so um is, I think, just so neat.
- 50:13Kim McIntire: It's just such a neat story that everybody who's going to take the stage, the Lord ordained them for this, for this conference.
- 50:21Daniel Moore: And the Lord's provided you, daniel, yeah.
- 50:23Amber Sampson: You've helped us with tech.
- 50:26Daniel Moore: You've helped us with the stuff that we don't understand like how to do a podcast yeah.
- 50:31Daniel Moore: I've enjoyed every minute of it.
- 50:32Daniel Moore: We've appreciated it so much.
- 50:34Daniel Moore: Yeah, I mean, I'm sold on what you guys are doing, 100%, thank you.
- 50:38Daniel Moore: Anybody that's any little bit ministry-minded.
- 50:42Daniel Moore: If we're going to do what God's called us to do, to proclaim the gospel with that great commission that he's given us, even if we have our own ministries, that's not where it stops.
- 50:52Holly Hoyer: Right.
- 50:53Daniel Moore: We're all here to work together and to sow into each other's ministries and try to fill in the gaps where it's at all possible.
- 51:00Daniel Moore: And I mean, you guys are giving me an opportunity to have another episode here.
- 51:02Daniel Moore: So it goes both ways.
- 51:10Daniel Moore: When you're looking at all this stuff that God puts into place and it's just, it's just great when you, when you get into ministry and of course you guys, you know something, you've been around ministry for a long time uh, it's just, it's so awesome when the vision that you have of what you think God's calling you to do, it actually all starts falling into place and then it works you know, it's just because there's nothing worse than having that vision and putting it into place.
- 51:31Daniel Moore: And then it just seems like you're constantly fighting the brick wall everywhere that you go.
- 51:35Daniel Moore: Of course, that should be a sign that that might not be where God wants you to be at that moment, but if God's behind it, those brick walls are going to fall and you're just going to keep moving forward and God's going to move all these different people and it's just like a big community.
- 51:50Daniel Moore: These people come in and do, then they leave, and then other people come in and do, and then they leave, and it's just a constant rotation of how God puts things together.
- 52:00Daniel Moore: I just think it's awesome sometimes just to sit back and watch it or look back, you know, two or three years back, after you've been coming along for a while, and think, man, that was so different back then than what it is now, because god's just done so much.
- 52:10Daniel Moore: So you guys here, you're getting into your first full year of events and what's the vision for your future?
- 52:18Daniel Moore: What do you, what do you guys see coming up to august and even beyond?
- 52:24Holly Hoyer: well, I believe there's going to be more worship nights, definitely more conferences, and we're believing God for a marriage conference, for a Rise Up marriage conference, so we'll see.
- 52:36Holly Hoyer: God's certainly surprised us and I'm sure he has more surprises for us, but I believe Kim will host a podcast.
- 52:45Holly Hoyer: We're just full of anticipation of whatever he wants.
- 52:52Kim McIntire: It was after conference last year.
- 52:53Kim McIntire: The Lord gave us a word that there would be many branches of Rise Up, and so we don't have a clue what that looks like.
- 53:01Kim McIntire: And so we don't have a clue what that looks like.
- 53:04Kim McIntire: But it's exciting to kind of sit back and just wait on God and ask Him what do the branches look like?
- 53:09Kim McIntire: And so we're kind of seeing some things and feeling some different ways.
- 53:13Kim McIntire: But I think Rise Up is just going to expand.
- 53:16Kim McIntire: We're going to keep doing conference events, worship nights and stuff, but there will be some things that take take us deeper.
- 53:27Kim McIntire: We're going to continue.
- 53:30Kim McIntire: We have a prayer group that meets the second and fourth Thursdays of every month at God's resort here in Joplin, and going back to the opening it up to men men want to come to prayer group.
- 53:36Kim McIntire: They want to come.
- 53:37Kim McIntire: These men just want to be with us ladies, don't they?
- 53:40Kim McIntire: But so we meet the second and fourth Thursday, so that second Thursday of the month we're opening that prayer group up night to men.
- 53:49Kim McIntire: And so I think, as we bring the men in, we're just scratching the surface as to what God's going to do.
- 53:55Kim McIntire: But I think we all every person on our team just has a posture of just like, with open hands and just open ears to hear what God is doing, and we're ready.
- 54:05Kim McIntire: We're ready for wherever he takes us.
- 54:08Daniel Moore: Another branch that we're praying about is a discipleship branch.
- 54:12Daniel Moore: Yeah, yes.
- 54:13Daniel Moore: Because we don't want women and men to just come to the conference and leave without feeling they have a connection and a place to go from there.
- 54:21Daniel Moore: Because not, let's be honest, Not everyone is plugged into a church, Not everyone has a community like a life group or a small group of you know, because people come from different places to our conferences and events.
- 54:37Daniel Moore: So we're asking the Lord to show us what does the discipleship piece look like moving forward from August.
- 54:44Daniel Moore: We're believing the Lord's going to have that in place by the end of the conference in August.
- 54:49Daniel Moore: Yeah, so the vision as Amber just spoke to has branches.
- 54:54Daniel Moore: Yeah, and we don't know what they all look like, but we feel like we see parts of it.
- 54:58Daniel Moore: A little gross, and we're excited because we know all the parts glorify God, and really that's what we're about.
- 55:04Daniel Moore: We want his name magnified and glorified and when that's our focus, we know he's going to continue enlarging the vision and expanding the conference and the movement.
- 55:17Daniel Moore: Well, the way that you guys have structured this conference, when you have your speakers come in and the subjects that they talk about those are a lot of times are strongholds.
- 55:27Daniel Moore: Those are things that they've had to break in their life that literally could have drugged them to hell if they, if God, had not have intervened.
- 55:34Daniel Moore: And so when you have people in your audience that hears those stories and they see that person overcame and they understand, they and they start to come to an understanding of how that person now got victory over that and that they can have that victory in their own life and they can get past all of that.
- 55:51Daniel Moore: That discipleship thing comes in very strong, because if those people that come to your conference are not churched, for instance, let's say somebody invited them, a friend invited them, and they get there and God transforms their life that evening.
- 56:05Daniel Moore: But then they leave and like where do I go now?
- 56:07Daniel Moore: You?
- 56:08Daniel Moore: Know it's like, if they're not part of a church already or part of a community that's going to come around them and then help them along and answer the questions and help them with the things that they may fight, then that's going to be very difficult for them.
- 56:20Daniel Moore: So I can see that's a very good point, I think, on you guys' vision to look forward to that.
- 56:25Kim McIntire: Yes.
- 56:25Daniel Moore: Because it's one thing to pour into people and to help them come to an understanding of who God is and how he can change and transform their life, and then they accept that transformation.
- 56:33Daniel Moore: But where do you go from there?
- 56:34Daniel Moore: Exactly, that's very important, and we don't want people falling in the gaps.
- 56:37Kim McIntire: Right, you know.
- 56:39Daniel Moore: We want them to be held up and supported.
- 56:42Daniel Moore: And so of course we're going to always say get connected with a local church, we believe in the church, we believe that you should be part of a church wherever you are and that there are good churches, small groups, life groups, prayer groups, be part of those, but also know that this resource is here, so we're excited to offer that it's in the works.
- 57:04Daniel Moore: So more to come later.
- 57:05Daniel Moore: That's awesome.
- 57:06Daniel Moore: Well, I think God, like you said, He'll bring that together.
- 57:09Daniel Moore: I have no doubt about it, and for anybody that ever thinks they want to be in a ministry, that's something you really have to think about, because it's one thing to think oh, I want to share a Bible story and touch somebody's life with it, but what if you touch somebody's life?
- 57:25Daniel Moore: What are you going to do then?
- 57:26Daniel Moore: I mean you have to have all that in place and be where God wants you to be and to have those resources available, or whatever it may be no-transcript.
- 57:47Daniel Moore: He does all of that through us.
- 57:50Daniel Moore: That's our purpose for being here, and so that is a very important part of having.
- 57:54Daniel Moore: Especially as the ministries get bigger, you do have to start branching out and thinking.
- 57:58Daniel Moore: It becomes a huge thing to take on, but nothing is impossible with God.
- 58:03Daniel Moore: We believe it?
- 58:04Daniel Moore: Yeah, it does, but nothing is impossible with God.
- 58:06Daniel Moore: Amen, yeah, we believe it.
- 58:07Daniel Moore: Yeah, that's what's so awesome about being in the ministry, because you can go do other things out in the world and end up being the lone man standing or the lone woman standing, but that never happens when you're in God's will.
- 58:16Daniel Moore: Yeah, you've always got God there and His protection, and He'll fill all those gaps as long as you're walking in his purpose.
- 58:23Daniel Moore: So we do have a conference coming up this fall, as we've been talking about.
- 58:28Daniel Moore: So if you could just give us the dates of that, and what can we expect this year?
- 58:34Kim McIntire: So conference is August 2nd and 3rd, so it'll be Friday evening.
- 58:38Kim McIntire: Saturday morning We'll wrap up.
- 58:41Kim McIntire: We're saying 1230-ish emphasis there and we're going to be at the Keter Center part of College of the Ozarks.
- 58:50Kim McIntire: They're just outside of Branson.
- 58:53Kim McIntire: It's a beautiful space.
- 58:55Kim McIntire: Like I said, we're going to be in the auditorium this year so we'll have more room.
- 59:00Kim McIntire: There'll be a lot of the same things as last year.
- 59:04Kim McIntire: We've got several speakers that are going to share their personal testimonies.
- 59:12Kim McIntire: We've got powerful worship and we're going to expand into some new things, I think this year not in prayer and having the men.
- 59:23Kim McIntire: So what am I missing?
- 59:25Holly Hoyer: We've got five powerful women coming to share their testimony yeah and Jay St Clair and we have one other spot that we're working on for the men that believe in God.
- 59:37Holly Hoyer: He's working that out for sure.
- 59:40Holly Hoyer: Well, I was just going to say the Lord really opened up the door for us with a website, and so yeah, it's the website is.
- 59:54Kim McIntire: It's time to rise up dot org.
- 59:56Kim McIntire: So I'll say it again it's time to rise up dot org.
- 59:58Kim McIntire: So I'll say it again it's time to rise up dot org.
- 1:00:01Kim McIntire: And all the things rise up are on that website we've gotten you can buy tickets.
- 1:00:08Kim McIntire: Tickets are 49 this year.
- 1:00:09Kim McIntire: Our heart is to always be able to keep it affordable for people, so, um, check out our website for um, for tickets and just more details.
- 1:00:19Kim McIntire: Um, you can find us on social media.
- 1:00:22Kim McIntire: Rise up um, where the logo out there with two triangles that says rise up.
- 1:00:26Kim McIntire: So, um, but yeah, check us out.
- 1:00:29Kim McIntire: We'd love, for this is open to anybody and everybody.
- 1:00:32Kim McIntire: Yeah, Um, this isn't a church conference.
- 1:00:40Kim McIntire: This isn't a denominational conference.
- 1:00:41Kim McIntire: This is a conference for if you're hungry and you want more of god, come on amen.
- 1:00:45Daniel Moore: Even high school students, college students.
- 1:00:46Daniel Moore: We don't have child care available, so we wouldn't recommend children younger than high school, unless they're just really able to endure a conference that's of this magnitude.
- 1:00:57Daniel Moore: But but we're excited even for that.
- 1:00:59Daniel Moore: We believe there's hungry high schoolers and college students that are going to be part of rise up 2024 you know, well, a lot of them that age have hang-ups already right and they need things broken off.
- 1:01:10Daniel Moore: It's a good place for them to be for sure, no doubt about it, and there's not really much out there ministry wise for collegeage kids.
- 1:01:17Daniel Moore: In a lot of cases the bigger churches they have some ministries that are kind of geared towards that kind of thing.
- 1:01:22Daniel Moore: But when you get to a lot of the more medium and smaller churches they struggle to fill those gaps with having some good ministries there for that age group.
- 1:01:31Daniel Moore: So a lot of times those age groups you know the college-age to career age group there they'll fall in the cracks.
- 1:01:37Daniel Moore: Yeah.
- 1:01:38Daniel Moore: And they don't really have much to rely on there for furthering their walk with God, and a lot of times they end up out of church because of that.
- 1:01:45Daniel Moore: That's true.
- 1:01:45Daniel Moore: They just, you know, it just happens, and so that's awesome that that capability is there as well.
- 1:01:51Daniel Moore: So we're looking forward to that then here coming up in August, and you guys have anything else that you want to share here real quick before we wrap up?
- 1:01:59Daniel Moore: I think we're to the point here to wrap this up for this week.
- 1:02:03Daniel Moore: Anything else you guys have.
- 1:02:04Daniel Moore: I think we've hit it all.
- 1:02:07Daniel Moore: We're just excited.
- 1:02:08Daniel Moore: We're excited for those who are coming, the ones we haven't met yet.
- 1:02:13Daniel Moore: We know it's going to be a reunion for some people that were there last year that we haven't seen since last year.
- 1:02:16Daniel Moore: We it's going to be a reunion for some people that were there last year that we haven't seen since last year.
- 1:02:19Daniel Moore: We're just excited, daniel, and we just believe God's going to do more.
- 1:02:21Amber Sampson: We don't want anyone to miss what?
- 1:02:22Daniel Moore: God's going to do so.
- 1:02:24Daniel Moore: We just say make the commitment, Buy the tickets.
- 1:02:27Daniel Moore: They're available on the website.
- 1:02:29Daniel Moore: Amber just gave the address and we're believing it's going to pack out soon, and if there's a way somebody wants to sow into your ministry beyond the tickets, is there a way to do that on the website as well?
- 1:02:40Daniel Moore: It's actually where you buy tickets gets you an option to sow into the ministry.
- 1:02:44Daniel Moore: So, yes, and we would encourage that.
- 1:02:46Daniel Moore: We've heard testimonies of people who've sown into the ministry and how the Lord has blessed them for doing that, so we are big believers in sowing into ministries that God has obviously been working.
- 1:02:57Daniel Moore: And there's evidence of him working.
- 1:03:00Kim McIntire: And because of the seeds that were sown last year, we were able to sponsor some people to come to conference last year and you heard one of their testimonies was given from somebody who had a sponsor ticket.
- 1:03:12Kim McIntire: So yeah, if the Lord's put that on your heart to sow in for an extra ticket, please do so, because we know there's people who want to come that forty nine dollars is just a little too much for them in this season.
- 1:03:25Kim McIntire: So we want to.
- 1:03:25Kim McIntire: We want everybody who's supposed to be in the room to be there, Absolutely.
- 1:03:29Daniel Moore: Well, that's huge.
- 1:03:29Daniel Moore: There is a lot of people that can't make it and they would probably love to be able to do that.
- 1:03:34Daniel Moore: So that's everybody listening out there.
- 1:03:35Daniel Moore: If you're be able to do that, so everybody listening out there.
- 1:03:37Daniel Moore: If you're not able to make it to the conference this year, if that's a way that you can be a part of this ministry, definitely do so.
- 1:03:42Daniel Moore: So go check out their website it's timetoriseuporg, and you can get your ticket there or just sow into their ministry to help further this vision that's taking place and once it explodes and gets into be some huge thing, someday you'll know that you were a part of that.
- 1:03:59Daniel Moore: So it'd be a huge huge blessing.
- 1:04:02Daniel Moore: You know there's been a prophetic word given toward that.
- 1:04:05Daniel Moore: Really, you just spoke, yes, so we're believing for that.
- 1:04:08Daniel Moore: That's right, Believe it and receive it.
- 1:04:10Daniel Moore: So that's that's what we're going to go with that.
- 1:04:12Daniel Moore: So so thanks to Amber Sampson, Kim McIntyre and Holly Hoyer.
- 1:04:16Daniel Moore: Thank you guys for all being here this week.
- 1:04:18Daniel Moore: Thank you.
- 1:04:19Daniel Moore: And being a part of this again a year later, and of course we'll get together in the future again and probably do this again, and then of course, we'll be looking forward to your podcast Once you guys get that rolling.
- 1:04:29Daniel Moore: Thank, you.
- 1:04:30Daniel Moore: And I think that's going to take off really quickly.
- 1:04:33Daniel Moore: So I think you guys will do excellent with that.
- 1:04:34Daniel Moore: So we're going to go ahead and wrap up this week.
- 1:04:37Daniel Moore: Then, uh, we've been talking uh with uh, amber, kim and Holly this week about the rise up 2024 conference is taking place August 2nd and August 3rd.
- 1:04:47Daniel Moore: And again, uh, just to repeat this and I'll put this in the show notes as well Uh, but their website is itstimetoriseuporg.

- 1:05:10Daniel Moore: We believe for it, and lots of lives will be changed.
- 1:05:13Daniel Moore: Amen, so of lives will be changed Amen.
- 1:05:14Daniel Moore: So thank you guys for being here this week.
- 1:05:15Daniel Moore: Thank you, daniel, thank you.
- 1:05:18Daniel Moore: Well, that's going to wrap up this week's episode of Connecting the Gap.

- 1:05:29Daniel Moore: They've got plenty of space for plenty of people.
- 1:05:32Daniel Moore: So if this is something that you think you enjoy and that you think would really touch your heart and help you with your walk with God, help you dig deeper into what God has for you.
- 1:05:42Daniel Moore: These worship conferences are amazing, though.
- 1:05:45Daniel Moore: I've been to both of them and both times I've just felt a conviction on my heart for God to just dig deeper into me and to see what he has out there for me and to cleanse my life so that I can do what it is that he's called me to do, and I know lots of lives have been touched by these conferences, so please make plans to attend that this fall.
- 1:06:04Daniel Moore: And again, you can visit their website at itstimetorisuporg and also there on their webpage.
- 1:06:11Daniel Moore: Their Facebook link and their Instagram links are also there as well, so you can go check all of that out.
- 1:06:18Daniel Moore: And we did have some women that weren't here.
- 1:06:20Daniel Moore: That's part of their team Kelly Carter, kelly Keener and Christy Marion are the other three women that are involved in leading this team, and so we just give a big shout out to all of them for following God's plan and what he has for them in this season of their life, as they are endeavoring to do what they can to help all of us come closer to God and more intimate with Him in our worship.
- 1:06:42Daniel Moore: Well, hope you guys enjoyed this episode.
