- 0:03Speaker 1: Well, hello, my friends, listen, I don't want to alarm you, but you might be a white supremacist if you drink cow's milk.
- 0:13Speaker 1: Yes, that is a thing.
- 0:21Speaker 1: That is a thing, apparently, we'll get into it.
- 0:27Speaker 1: So, yeah, you might want to put down those Oreos and that nice big tall glass of milk or your bowl of cereal or I don't know whatever else you have your milk with, because if you're drinking it, there's a very good chance that you are a white supremacist, because cow's milk is deeply rooted in white supremacy.
- 0:52Speaker 1: So says Peter.
- 0:58Speaker 1: So now let me preface by saying I guess if I'm prefaceing I would have said it sooner, but I'm going to say it right now.
- 1:05Speaker 1: This article.
- 1:07Speaker 1: So somebody posted this meme on Twitter.
- 1:11Speaker 1: Is anybody used to saying that?
- 1:14Speaker 1: Yet?
- 1:15Speaker 1: I think that might be the first time.
- 1:16Speaker 1: I just said that out loud.
- 1:17Speaker 1: I don't even know, but anyhow.
- 1:19Speaker 1: So somebody posted this on Twitter and I had to go hunt down, because it's just the meme.
- 1:25Speaker 1: There was no nothing attached to it or anything and so I actually looked to see if there was an article.
- 1:33Speaker 1: And of course there is.
- 1:34Speaker 1: Of course there is.
- 1:35Speaker 1: So here's the preface, the delayed preface.
- 1:38Speaker 1: This was published.
- 1:41Speaker 1: The article by PETA on their website Was originally published in 2017 and then updated in 2021.
- 1:51Speaker 1: So it's still a little bit older, but I think it's probably very fair and safe to say that PETA still feels this way.
- 1:59Speaker 1: But you know, they give a very, very good explanation as to why, and it involves actors and I don't know what else.
- 2:12Speaker 1: I mean what else?
- 2:15Speaker 1: Oh, science, it involves the science.
- 2:17Speaker 1: The science.
- 2:18Speaker 1: Don't you love when people say the science?
- 2:22Speaker 1: Yeah, so apparently I don't know how I keep a straight face.
- 2:29Speaker 1: I'm trying, man, I'm trying, but this is real.
- 2:32Speaker 1: I'm not kidding, that's not hyperbole, I'm not joking about that.
- 2:37Speaker 1: As you know, when Christopher Walz's character in Inglourious Basterds drinks a glass of milk and a character in a pivotal scene in Get Out sips the cow secretion, what'd you say?
- 2:56Speaker 1: Dairy milk has long been embraced as a symbol of white supremacy.
- 3:00Speaker 1: It's been long embraced, according to PETA, or this writer for PETA.
- 3:07Speaker 1: I'm just going to read parts of this for you here.
- 3:11Speaker 1: It's a.
- 3:12Speaker 1: Geneticists are alarmed that white nationalists, who are now using milk emojis and sharing photos of themselves chugging milk to celebrate their whiteness, are contorting science.
- 3:26Speaker 1: There's the science Contorting science and using it as an excuse to hate.
- 3:31Speaker 1: They cite an article in the New York Times about evolutionary biologists that state, because of a genetic mutation among Europeans, white people are more likely to be able to digest lactose, according to this.
- 3:50Speaker 1: It's just so silly I can't even believe I read as much as I did.
- 3:53Speaker 1: I read the whole article for you.
- 3:54Speaker 1: I can probably.
- 3:56Speaker 1: If I remember, I'll put it in the comments.
- 4:01Speaker 1: So what do you think?
- 4:01Speaker 1: Are you going to stop drinking milk?
- 4:03Speaker 1: I mean, you probably should.
- 4:04Speaker 1: You should probably stop putting it in your coffee and stop being a white supremacist by drinking milk.
- 4:18Speaker 1: Duh, I can't even.
- 4:22Speaker 1: I can't even.
- 4:24Speaker 1: And because I had to, so do you?
- 4:27Speaker 1: So, yeah, oh, by the way, this is the article.
- 4:31Speaker 1: I've got to share that part.
- 4:33Speaker 1: It's just a clip of it.
- 4:35Speaker 1: Yeah, I'll try and remember.
- 4:37Speaker 1: No guarantees.
- 4:38Speaker 1: So, yeah, digest that people.
- 4:42Speaker 1: Don't worry, I'll be bringing you something else too in a not so long time from now.
- 4:50Speaker 1: Take care, bye.
