On the Fourth of July, Raleigh’s Brier Creek erupted into chaos as a 16-year-old faces adult charges—including assault with a deadly weapon—after shots were fired into a car, sparking a riot and injuring two adults. The violence, initially sparked by a “teen takeover” near a movie theater, may have spilled into Glenwood South later that night, where authorities are investigating additional shootings.
