- 0:07[SPEAKER_00]: Jacksonville Jack Wars fans, welcome in to Dove All Daily, presented by Genjag.com.
- 0:10[SPEAKER_00]: I'm Jordan Aluga, thanks so much for being here Friday, October 3rd, normally we're a couple of sleeps away from the Jack Wars playing a Sunday football game.
- 0:19[SPEAKER_00]: But...
- 0:20[SPEAKER_00]: This week, it is Monday, night, football, Jaguar is wearing the prowlers at the bank on prime time, 815 p.m.
- 0:29[SPEAKER_00]: ESPN and ABC fired up for it.
- 0:32[SPEAKER_00]: Look, Devon Lloyd, AFC defensive player of the week and of the first month of the season.
- 0:38[SPEAKER_00]: Patrick Mahomes, AFC offensive player of the week you might have heard of him.
- 0:42[SPEAKER_00]: Chiefs, they've owned the jacks.
- 0:44[SPEAKER_00]: There's no getting around it.
- 0:46[SPEAKER_00]: Prime time has also owned your jacks and build jack wars.
- 0:49[SPEAKER_00]: There is a lot to get into here.
- 0:51[SPEAKER_00]: Really appreciate you tuning in.

- 0:57[SPEAKER_00]: Pick up some new dov all gear, help support the channel look good while doing it.
- 1:00[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, chiefs, they've beaten the jacks.
- 1:04[SPEAKER_00]: They've beaten the jacks a lot.
- 1:06[SPEAKER_00]: Prime time, not been a pretty place for the jack wars.
- 1:13[SPEAKER_00]: They're tough, they're physical, they're smart, they're well coached, and they're changing narratives.
- 1:20[SPEAKER_00]: Haven't beaten the Texans in Jacksonville since 2017, no problem.
- 1:24[SPEAKER_00]: Can't win on the West Coast, no problem.
- 1:26[SPEAKER_00]: Can't beat the 49ers, no problem.
- 1:29[SPEAKER_00]: But the chiefs, they are reinvigorated after winning two straight games, including a 37 to 20 absolute drumming of the Baltimore Ravens and the Eslamar Jackson did go down with an injury.
- 1:42[SPEAKER_00]: Chiefs looked damn good last week.
- 1:43[SPEAKER_00]: Patrick Mahomes, he's as dangerous as ever.
- 1:46[SPEAKER_00]: They have plenty of speed to work with in their skill group, Xavier Worthy, Hollywood Brown, Taekwant Thornton.
- 1:55[SPEAKER_00]: I don't ever see rice, and that will unlock another element of their offense when he does return.
- 2:00[SPEAKER_00]: But you have those three speedsters, they can take the top off the defense while Travis Kelsey can still eat underneath, you have Brashard smith, the rookie running back, getting into the mix a little bit, brings some more speed and juice to the back field.
- 2:14[SPEAKER_00]: Right, and then you have Patrick Mahomes who has been throwing the ball deeper, then he has, since Tyree kill left, he's been running the ball quite a bit, very effectively, the Jaguars have seen him do that in the past.
- 2:30[SPEAKER_00]: Facing the Chiefs right now, they've got a lot of confidence.
- 2:33[SPEAKER_00]: There's a lot of smiles in Kansas City right now.
- 2:37[SPEAKER_00]: A lot of smiles in that building.
- 2:40[SPEAKER_00]: a lot more than there were a couple of weeks ago when they were sitting at on two.
- 2:43[SPEAKER_00]: The offensive tackle position is in a better place than it has been in a long time, which Josh Simmons taking over on the left side, of course you have Joanne Taylor on the right side and you have Jalen Moore as your top swing tackle.
- 2:54[SPEAKER_00]: Still though, Josh Simmons, he's going to have his hands full and Joanne Taylor might as well.
- 2:59[SPEAKER_00]: The Jaguar started moving Josh Hines Allen around quite a bit last week after Traybaum Walker went down.
- 3:05[SPEAKER_00]: Josh Heinz Allen, first Josh Simmons.
- 3:07[SPEAKER_00]: That's a mismatch.
- 3:08[SPEAKER_00]: I know Josh Simmons is talented young player, but that's our rookie going against a elite pass rusher.
- 3:14[SPEAKER_00]: Trayvon Walker is a long shot to play.
- 3:16[SPEAKER_00]: It feels like he's day-to-day.
- 3:19[SPEAKER_00]: Had a surgical procedure done on Monday.
- 3:23[SPEAKER_00]: Fishingly day-to-day, didn't practice on Thursday.
- 3:26[SPEAKER_00]: We'll see what ends up happening in there.
- 3:28[SPEAKER_00]: Seems like he's much closer than we anticipated him, potentially returning when Jeremy Fowler reported that
- 3:36[SPEAKER_00]: Anthony Campanile's defense has been money in 2025.
- 3:40[SPEAKER_00]: They're forcing over three turnovers per game.
- 3:42[SPEAKER_00]: Three turnovers in each of the first three games and then four in San Francisco to help take down the San Francisco 49ers.
- 3:50[SPEAKER_00]: But the chiefs, they don't turn the ball over.
- 3:54[SPEAKER_00]: So that's good on good there in a big way.
- 3:57[SPEAKER_00]: You've got the best turnover team defensive wise and the league versus the best turnover team in the offense in the league, right?
- 4:04[SPEAKER_00]: The Jaguars, they also have the best run defense and football while the chiefs are one of the best run defenses in football.
- 4:10[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, not the best, but it's up there.
- 4:12[SPEAKER_00]: While the chiefs have one of the worst rushing attacks, the Jaguars are only allowing 3.4 yards per carry to opposing running backs.
- 4:21[SPEAKER_00]: They're also only allowing their opponents to score an average of 18 points per game.
- 4:26[SPEAKER_00]: Thanks in large part, turnovers, run defense, and the diverse array of disguise coverages and the front, deployed by Anthony Campanila, he is one of the trickiest defensive coordinators in the NFL to game plan four.
- 4:41[SPEAKER_00]: got another guy on the other side that's pretty good at that too.
- 4:44[SPEAKER_00]: Travis Hunter's usage has been game script and matchup dependent so far so it remains to be seen how the Jaguar's coaching staff will deploy him against the chiefs and it can be kind of a half to half situation.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_00]: Travis Hunter playing a lot on defense in the first half.
- 5:00[SPEAKER_00]: Last week didn't play at all on defense in the second half.
- 5:03[SPEAKER_00]: So the Jags that they can be a little
- 5:06[SPEAKER_00]: tricky, mischievous, you know, holding their cards close to their vest when it comes to Travis Hunter's deployment.
- 5:14[SPEAKER_00]: The Jaguar's offense has been one of the best in the league on the ground with the diverse rushing attack.
- 5:21[SPEAKER_00]: Here that a lot of diversity with the way the Jaguar is called plays and with the way the Jaguar's attack their opponents.
- 5:33[SPEAKER_00]: He could have been arguably a candidate for AFC offensive player the month.
- 5:38[SPEAKER_00]: Of course, I want to James Cook, who's also having a really great year.
- 5:41[SPEAKER_00]: Travis Cteen is third in the NFL in Russian.
- 5:45[SPEAKER_00]: and Jack Wars are also third in the NFL and rushing as a team.
- 5:48[SPEAKER_00]: Liam Cohen has been money, calling and designing runs just as Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who are struggling without him on the ground.
- 5:56[SPEAKER_00]: Last year, he took the Buccaneers from one of the worst rushing offenses in the NFL to one of the best, and he has done the same thing with the Jack Wars so far this year.
- 6:06[SPEAKER_00]: The chiefs, their defense, hasn't had much success stopping the run this year.
- 6:11[SPEAKER_00]: They're allowing 4.9 yards per carry on the ground.
- 6:15[SPEAKER_00]: Now, the Jaguar's passing game, it has suffered a bit due to drops and inconsistent connection between Trevor Lawrence and Brian Thomas Jr., and penalties.
- 6:26[SPEAKER_00]: penalties upset the Jaguar's back quite a bit in terms of down and distance, but
- 6:32[SPEAKER_00]: Jaguar's have thrived, scoring off turnovers and putting together big drives early in the game and late in the game.
- 6:39[SPEAKER_00]: Early in the game helps them get a lead, late in the game helps them win the game.
- 6:43[SPEAKER_00]: So, they've been scoring at the right time and they have been capitalizing on all those turnovers that the Jaguar's defense has been providing them.
- 6:51[SPEAKER_00]: Jack's offense will face one of the most blitz heavy coordinators in football and Trevor Lawrence will have a big job at the line of scrimmage pre-snap identifying where pressure is coming from and getting to the right play call in the right read.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_00]: Future Hall of Fame, defensive Lime and Chris Jones, yeah, he's still playing damn good football.
- 7:10[SPEAKER_00]: They will need to have a plan for him every single time he's out there.
- 7:14[SPEAKER_00]: You have seen him, wreck games against many teams, including your Jacksonville Jaguars.
- 7:19[SPEAKER_00]: Both teams currently have kickers who have missed kicks of late, and both teams have committed their fair share of penalties, with the chiefs averaging over seven penalties a game, and the Jaguars averaging almost 10 per game, accepted.
- 7:33[SPEAKER_00]: when it comes to actual penalties called, it is right over 10 per game for the Jacksonville Jaguar.
- 7:39[SPEAKER_00]: So the Cincinnati Mingles decided not to accept a fair share of the the illegal shifts, which there have been a far too many.
- 7:48[SPEAKER_00]: To me, this appears to be an excellent coaching match-up and overall match-up between teams that are talented and coaches,
- 7:58[SPEAKER_00]: on the chief side, two legends in the game.
- 8:01[SPEAKER_00]: Andy Reed, one of the best head coaches, offensive minds, we have ever seen.
- 8:05[SPEAKER_00]: Steve Spagnolo, one of the best defensive coaches we have ever seen, versus two upstart, Liam Cohen, offensively, he's been fantastic, leadership wise, he's been fantastic.
- 8:16[SPEAKER_00]: And Anthony Campanila, who was a little bit more of an unknown, hadn't seen him call plays in the NFL before as a defensive coordinator, but he has been as disguised heavy,
- 8:29[SPEAKER_00]: as they come, which side will come out on top?
- 8:33[SPEAKER_00]: We'll find out Monday night at the bank, eight, 15, prime time, under the lights, Jaguars were in the prowlers.
- 8:39[SPEAKER_00]: Will the Jaguars continue to steal the show?
- 8:41[SPEAKER_00]: Will they continue to rewrite the narrative in 2025 with this new regime?
- 8:46[SPEAKER_00]: Cannot wait to find out, really appreciate y'all tuning in.
- 8:49[SPEAKER_00]: If you enjoy the content, please like and subscribe.
- 8:51[SPEAKER_00]: We will have matchups to watch.
- 8:52[SPEAKER_00]: We will have bold predictions.
- 8:54[SPEAKER_00]: We will have what's keeping me up at night.
- 8:55[SPEAKER_00]: All coming later in the week, later today in tomorrow and Sunday.
- 8:59[SPEAKER_00]: Getting you ready for Jaguars versus Chiefs.
