I revisited Michael Haneke’s Caché nearly 20 years after first seeing it, and found myself caught up in a mystery that raises some uncomfortable questions about guilt, buried secrets and the past catching up with us. With a terrific Juliette Binoche performance and one scene that genuinely stopped me in my tracks, it’s a film that kept me thinking long after the credits rolled — even if I’m still not sure what to make of it all.
