Ki fate. This is today's Sokam Nama from
• 7:52
Sritrawarsa Amritsar, uttered by our third Guru, Guru Amar Dahji
• 8:00
under Salok Third Mahal. Guru Saabji says that great men
• 8:07
speak the teachings by relating them to individual situations,
• 8:16
but the whole world shares in them.
• 8:21
One who becomes Gormak knows the fear of God and realizes his own
• 8:31
self. If by Guru's grace one remains
• 8:40
dead while yet alive, the mind becomes content in itself.
• 8:49
Those who have no faith in their own minds, O Nanak, how can they
• 8:57
speak of spiritual wisdom? Third Mahal, those who do not
• 9:05
focus their consciousness on the Lord as Gurmukh suffer pain and
• 9:14
grief. In the end, they are blind
• 9:20
inwardly and outwardly, and they do not understand anything.
• 9:29
Opponent or religious scholar, The whole world is fed for the
• 9:37
sake of those who are attuned to the Lord's name.
• 9:46
Those who praise the word of the Guruji Shabbat remain blended
• 9:52
with the Lord upendeth. O religious scholar, no one is
• 10:00
satisfied, and no one finds true wealth through the love of
• 10:07
duality. They have grown weary of reading
• 10:14
scriptures, but still they do not find contentment, and they
• 10:22
pass their lies burning night and day.
• 10:28
Their cries and complaints never end, and doubt does not depart
• 10:38
from within them. O Nanak, without the Nam, the
• 10:44
name of the Lord, they rise up and depart with blackened faces.
• 10:53
Body, O beloved, lead me to meet my true friend.
• 11:01
Meeting with Him, I shall ask Him to show me the path.
• 11:09
I am a sacrifice to that friend who shows it to me.
• 11:17
I share his virtues with him and meditate on the Lord's name.
• 11:26
I serve my beloved Lord forever. Serving the Lord, I have found
• 11:35
peace. I am a sacrifice to The Who Guru
• 11:42
who has imparted this understanding to me.
• 11:50
  Vahegurjika Khalsa. Vahegurjiki Fateh.
