- 1:32Speaker 4: so it's the first week of March. Fatness Show. We
- 1:36Speaker 4: have different challenges that we put ourselves through each and
- 1:40Speaker 4: every March. March madness is happening with basketball. It's March fatness.
- 1:44Speaker 2: It's way about.
- 1:45Speaker 4: It's way harder than what they're doing. We have to
- 1:47Speaker 4: eat stuff here on the little show. I tell you like,
- 1:49Speaker 4: I cannot say no to the little girls who are
- 1:53Speaker 4: selling the girls stuff cooking. He's outside the grocery store.
- 1:56Speaker 4: I can't walk by and go, oh, no, thank you,
- 1:58Speaker 4: little demons. I cannot let I go. I'll get you
- 2:02Speaker 4: on the way out, and I'm hoping that they've packed
- 2:04Speaker 4: up by the time I'm out of there.
- 2:05Speaker 5: Always into them a lot because I don't have anybody
- 2:08Speaker 5: in the office selling. And the only place I've just
- 2:11Speaker 5: ran into them was outside of Walmart. Yeah, because that's
- 2:15Speaker 5: where we're going to get him.
- 2:15Speaker 1: Now, the hardware store, everywhere.
- 2:18Speaker 4: Because they no longer you're not gonna see him in
- 2:20Speaker 4: the office, because they no longer going around taking orders
- 2:23Speaker 4: and then fulfilling them later. They don't do that anymore.
- 2:25Speaker 1: Selling the rest of the backstop.
- 2:27Speaker 4: So they get all the cookies that they're going to sell,
- 2:29Speaker 4: then they go around door to door selling them, and
- 2:32Speaker 4: then whatever's left over. They each split up like the
- 2:34Speaker 4: troop will split up. The days that they get to
- 2:36Speaker 4: be in the hours that they get to be out
- 2:38Speaker 4: inside of the grocery stores and the walmarts and stuff,
- 2:41Speaker 4: so that's that's where you get them now.
- 2:42Speaker 6: It was actually hilarious because we were walking into a
- 2:45Speaker 6: Low's or one of the hardware store and the mom goes,
- 2:47Speaker 6: girls got cookies and I was like, no, no, we're.
- 2:49Speaker 1: Good, and she goes, please for the love of God,
- 2:52Speaker 1: and I started laughing so hard. That was the most
- 2:55Speaker 1: honest thing I've ever heard someone from the girls Scouts side.
- 2:57Speaker 7: And so did you buy some?
- 2:58Speaker 2: After she did that, we're good.
- 3:02Speaker 5: I didn't give some because the line was too long.
- 3:04Speaker 5: It was popping for Girl Scouts.
- 3:06Speaker 4: See, there's never anybody standing there. There was a ton
- 3:09Speaker 4: of and I'd say, oh, I'll get you.
- 3:10Speaker 2: On the way out, and I always do.
- 3:12Speaker 8: There were so many I thought they were giving them
- 3:13Speaker 8: out for I'll give you a place. I saw one
- 3:15Speaker 8: that I've never seen before but was genius Farmers Market.
- 3:18Speaker 8: Oh the table girls. Yeah, people are looking for stuff.
- 3:24Speaker 2: They going around.
- 3:25Speaker 4: So besides the beginning of March fatness, some other things
- 3:28Speaker 4: to look forward to in the March month of March,
- 3:30Speaker 4: you know, actual March madness. So selection Sunday is the fifteenth,
- 3:35Speaker 4: and then the men start in the seventeenth. The women
- 3:37Speaker 4: get started a day later daylight saving time. Greg starts
- 3:41Speaker 4: this Sunday does Yeah, you will lose some hour of sleep,
- 3:46Speaker 4: but it's not going to get dark so early anymore
- 3:48Speaker 4: worth it.
- 3:49Speaker 2: I'll lose five hours of sleep.
- 3:51Speaker 4: Like March twentieth is the first day of spring.
- 3:54Speaker 8: And notice, notice if anyone ever complains about how, oh
- 3:57Speaker 8: I like the other way better, Greg, you could say, well,
- 3:59Speaker 8: if you loved it so much, why did.
- 4:00Speaker 1: They push it up two weeks?
- 4:02Speaker 8: Because if it were just going to the equinox, yeah,
- 4:04Speaker 8: it would be on March twentieth.
- 4:05Speaker 4: They're worried about suicide. This sucks for Morgan. The Paralympics
- 4:11Speaker 4: get started this Fridays that she does love the Paralympics.
- 4:14Speaker 4: Those I don't. Those gogs could they run? But those
- 4:17Speaker 4: go From the sixth to the fifteenth. Wheelchair curling starts
- 4:22Speaker 4: a few days early on Wednesday.
- 4:24Speaker 1: How do they attach the brooms to share? They have
- 4:26Speaker 1: to do something else for it.
- 4:28Speaker 4: The seventeenth is Saint Patrick's Day. The Major League baseball
- 4:32Speaker 4: season starts a week after that. The Yankees and the
- 4:34Speaker 4: Giants they'll kick things off on Netflix the night of
- 4:36Speaker 4: the twenty fifth. Other teams getting started on the twenty sixth.
- 4:40Speaker 4: Conan O'Brien is returning to host the Oscars on March fifteenth. Also,
- 4:45Speaker 4: the final season of Outlander premieres this Friday on Stars.
- 4:49Speaker 4: Steve Carrell's new HBO show Rooster starts on the eighth.
- 4:54Speaker 4: The Yellowstone spin off The Madison with Michelle Pfeiffer and
- 4:58Speaker 4: Kurt Russell. That's going to hit Paramount Plus on the fourteenth.
- 5:01Speaker 4: The Batch's retra back on the twenty second, and Lisa
- 5:04Speaker 4: Kudroz to come back.
- 5:05Speaker 2: I can't wait, you're so excited.
- 5:07Speaker 1: I'm sure a twelve year Hiatus trailer was so fully good.
- 5:11Speaker 1: This is that same show.
- 5:12Speaker 4: Yeah, it's a continu This is a twelve year Hiat deal.
- 5:16Speaker 1: No.
- 5:16Speaker 4: Disney Plus has its Hand of Montana twentieth Anniversary special
- 5:19Speaker 4: in the twenty fourth The iHeart Radio Music Awards. They're
- 5:22Speaker 4: on Fox on March twenty sixth in theaters. You got
- 5:25Speaker 4: Pixars new movie Hoppers opening up this Friday, and Ryan
- 5:28Speaker 4: Gosling tries to save Planet Earth and Project Hail Mary
- 5:32Speaker 4: and a Friend. March twentieth, So bad. Yeahyler.
- 5:37Speaker 2: Yeah. Also, now that it's March, there's that show DTF
- 5:40Speaker 2: Saint Louis Jason Bateman. I got to watch that.
- 5:42Speaker 1: I'm very interested in that too.
- 5:43Speaker 4: Now, how to make daylight saving time less painful because
- 5:47Speaker 4: again there will be the people that can play like
- 5:49Speaker 4: so tongue hour.
- 5:51Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 5:52Speaker 4: So they say, get some sun first thing in the morning.
- 5:54Speaker 2: That's tip number one. We'll try, all right, So.
- 5:57Speaker 4: We want to do a little time outside in the morning,
- 5:59Speaker 4: soak up some of the race that resets your internal clock.
- 6:02Speaker 4: Slowly shift your bedtime. It's one hour your big babies
- 6:05Speaker 4: one day.
- 6:06Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 6:07Speaker 4: So they said start going to bed fifteen minutes early
- 6:09Speaker 4: every night.
- 6:10Speaker 8: Ye.
- 6:10Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 6:10Speaker 4: Training train your body.
- 6:12Speaker 1: Literally, sleep training children.
- 6:14Speaker 4: Upgrade your sleep high gene. The Sleep Foundation also recommends
- 6:17Speaker 4: improving your sleep habits and bedroom environment by maintaining a
- 6:20Speaker 4: set sleep schedule, having a wine down routine like have
- 6:24Speaker 4: somebody reads.
- 6:25Speaker 2: You a night night story or a wind down.
- 6:28Speaker 4: Avoid caffeine or alcohol in the afternoon and evenings, knocking
- 6:33Speaker 4: unwanted noise and light from the bedroom, and going device
- 6:36Speaker 4: free for thirty minutes before bed.
- 6:38Speaker 1: Avoid alcohol in the afternoons or evening, so only breakfast.
- 6:41Speaker 2: Yea just morning breakfast with the brunch is a day.
- 6:46Speaker 4: And then they also recommend setting your clocks the night before,
- 6:50Speaker 4: so like when the time change happens, you know you're
- 6:52Speaker 4: on the new correct time before you even go to bed.
- 6:55Speaker 1: Attention everybody living in nineteen eighty three.
- 6:57Speaker 4: Who is still setting clocks?
- 6:58Speaker 8: Yeah, if you're sleeping by your microwaves.
- 7:03Speaker 4: Again, I've never really understood, like why, I guess somebody
- 7:07Speaker 4: with a fluid schedule, you know, like you know, my
- 7:10Speaker 4: schedule changes all the time. Yeah, depending on what time
- 7:14Speaker 4: we're getting up and going to bed. And on the weekends,
- 7:16Speaker 4: like you can't they say, maintain.
- 7:17Speaker 2: Well, you're worse with that. You go so drastically different
- 7:21Speaker 2: on the weekends. Yeah, where you because you can actually
- 7:23Speaker 2: stay up late. That's why I really am becoming a
- 7:26Speaker 2: big believer in speaking of which day drinking, it's so
- 7:29Speaker 2: much more efficient, Yeah, because you can still get you know,
- 7:32Speaker 2: all your drinking done, but then just go to bed
- 7:34Speaker 2: of a normal time.
- 7:36Speaker 4: They say this, they say this day on schedule, like
- 7:38Speaker 4: even on the weekends, like whatever your weekday schedule is.
- 7:41Speaker 4: But for us, it doesn't make any sense because getting
- 7:43Speaker 4: up in the middle of the night, Like I'm not
- 7:45Speaker 4: doing that on a Saturday or Sunday. And I'm not
- 7:47Speaker 4: going to bed at eight o'clock on a Friday night
- 7:50Speaker 4: or a Saturday night. So I have to have some
- 7:51Speaker 4: semblance of a of a normal life, regular life, yeah,
- 7:54Speaker 4: which I can easily go back and forth to, which
- 7:56Speaker 4: is why I don't understand. Like, okay, so like things
- 7:58Speaker 4: shift by one hour means that you're also yeah, which
- 8:01Speaker 4: means it's the same time you're up the same amount
- 8:04Speaker 4: of time, you're going to bed at the same time.
- 8:06Speaker 4: So like, why are you so tired? Yeah, I don't
- 8:09Speaker 4: get it.
- 8:09Speaker 2: People like to complain, they do.
- 8:11Speaker 4: They do, like we are yeah about getting up in
- 8:13Speaker 4: the middle of the night being yeah, I love you made
- 8:16Speaker 4: it then just in time. The well, men's a little
- 8:21Speaker 4: today in history? Yes, please, it was today in nineteen
- 8:24Speaker 4: twenty two, right.
- 8:27Speaker 2: Here, right here, in a great day.
- 8:29Speaker 4: It was today the Supreme Court you managed unanimously upheld
- 8:33Speaker 4: nineteenth Amendment to the Constitution giving the women right to vote. Yeah,
- 8:42Speaker 4: couple the holidays, say greg is an International Irish Whiskey Day, Yes, yeah,
- 8:48Speaker 4: Now National Moscow mule Day, National mulled wine Day.
- 8:54Speaker 1: Oh yeah, that's Renaissance festivals.
- 8:57Speaker 4: For you, it's talking the third person day.
- 8:58Speaker 1: Well, Ma likes.
- 9:01Speaker 4: It's World Wildlife.
- 9:03Speaker 2: Day, World Hearing Day.
- 9:05Speaker 4: There you go, Oh Canadian Bacon Day, National Old Cuts Day.
- 9:11Speaker 1: That yeah, hearing day.
- 9:14Speaker 5: Dude, Greg, I know you're anti uh you know, hearing aids,
- 9:19Speaker 5: but they're all over the place now, Dude, I'm actually
- 9:22Speaker 5: has a whole section.
- 9:23Speaker 2: I am not anti hearing aids. I have tried them,
- 9:26Speaker 2: and I returned them because it would do that old
- 9:29Speaker 2: timey thing where it would feedback so in your ear
- 9:31Speaker 2: it goes.
- 9:33Speaker 4: So you mean to you mean to tell me that
- 9:35Speaker 4: you would walk around, Greg, you would walk around with
- 9:37Speaker 4: hearing aids.
- 9:39Speaker 2: Because we recently spoke about is it or tinatus?
- 9:43Speaker 1: Technically it's tatus, but nobody calls it.
- 9:46Speaker 2: Okay, But the apparently the only thing that helps it
- 9:50Speaker 2: is hearing aids. And I'm at the point where I
- 9:53Speaker 2: either have to get them to help with that or
- 9:56Speaker 2: jump off a bridge.
- 9:58Speaker 4: Because Greg again, won't go to the grocery store and
- 10:01Speaker 4: buy toilet paper. You doesn't want to be seen buying
- 10:03Speaker 4: toilet paper or deodorant. You would you would be willing,
- 10:07Speaker 4: you're son about that stuff. You'd be willing to around.
- 10:12Speaker 2: It would save my sanity and you could spy on.
- 10:14Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 10:14Speaker 5: Well, dude, the guy that started Texas Roadhouse, his was
- 10:18Speaker 5: so bad he did commit suicide, I believe.
- 10:22Speaker 8: But good news, Elon's coming to your rescue. They are
- 10:25Speaker 8: working One of the neuralink things they are working on
- 10:27Speaker 8: is TuS uh, you know, curious, actually really rewiring your brain.
- 10:32Speaker 2: I'll pay anything for it. Would you call it? How
- 10:34Speaker 2: do you pronounce it?
- 10:37Speaker 1: I believe Gena was correct.
- 10:38Speaker 8: Yeah, everyone said tonight, but nobody calls it.
- 10:41Speaker 2: I see what we got here? All right, Greglory?
- 10:46Speaker 4: What you got for us?
- 10:47Speaker 2: Well? I bring this up because it just dominated everything
- 10:50Speaker 2: for the past couple of days. Have you heard about this?
- 10:52Speaker 2: Jim Carrey look alive? It is weird.
- 10:58Speaker 5: Did you see the photos?
- 11:00Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 11:00Speaker 2: And there's a lot of conspiracies now. And so basically,
- 11:03Speaker 2: there was the trillianth award show going on called the
- 11:06Speaker 2: Cesar Awards, and Jim Carrey gave a speech totally in French,
- 11:10Speaker 2: and people are saying that it wasn't him because he
- 11:12Speaker 2: looked different, which she.
- 11:13Speaker 1: Does, like he got like a mega eye lift.
- 11:15Speaker 2: And then there's this other dude who's glomming onto the story.
- 11:18Speaker 2: His name's Alexis Stone. He's this makeup artist. He says
- 11:21Speaker 2: that was me because he's put on makeup in the
- 11:24Speaker 2: past to look like celebrities, Kate Hutt. It's always women though, yeah,
- 11:29Speaker 2: Kate Hudson, Goldie Hawn, Glenn Close, Billie Eilish, And he
- 11:32Speaker 2: does a good job. He looks like these people when
- 11:34Speaker 2: he puts makeup on, but he just wants to get
- 11:36Speaker 2: it into his story. But none of this has been confirmed.
- 11:38Speaker 2: There's that chick, that lesbian who looks like Jim Carrey.
- 11:41Speaker 1: Oh my god, they're identical.
- 11:43Speaker 2: Heather Shay.
- 11:43Speaker 1: I think her name is Denical and she's.
- 11:46Speaker 2: Saying, no, it wasn't me and people. He just got
- 11:48Speaker 2: some facework done. Yeah, and I think he has contacts
- 11:51Speaker 2: as well, because his eye color is even different.
- 11:53Speaker 1: Yeah, he's always kind of like trolling people and stuff.
- 11:56Speaker 2: And he's strange.
- 11:57Speaker 8: Is trolling people to get cosmetic surgery.
- 12:00Speaker 1: Just be like, is it me?
- 12:01Speaker 5: I don't know, check out this troll.
- 12:03Speaker 2: Yeah, that was just facelift everywhere lately, a bunch of.
- 12:07Speaker 5: Dudes getting faceless though.
- 12:09Speaker 1: Yeah, Yeahuffy, Yeah, they've been doing that and yeah, well
- 12:12Speaker 1: his thing isn't a face of its filler person.
- 12:15Speaker 4: The other person who doesn't all it was like an
- 12:17Speaker 4: all of a sudden thing too, who doesn't look much
- 12:19Speaker 4: like himself, and he is Tom Cruise.
- 12:21Speaker 1: Oh please, he's sixty what.
- 12:24Speaker 4: I know, I get that, but it's weird. They're almost
- 12:26Speaker 4: like there was a switch and it happened all of
- 12:29Speaker 4: a sudden. He went from looking like Tom Cruise. It's
- 12:32Speaker 4: all of a sudden looking like puffy Tom Cruise.
- 12:34Speaker 1: That was right around the movie, right around too, right.
- 12:37Speaker 2: Yeah, it was weird.
- 12:38Speaker 5: Tom Hanks kind of looks different too. I saw a
- 12:41Speaker 5: video of him posting about some coffee that he's putting
- 12:45Speaker 5: in Walmart. It's like all the money is going to
- 12:48Speaker 5: like some charity. But yeah, I'm like, whoa, Tom Hanks
- 12:51Speaker 5: looks crazy because he's like old.
- 12:53Speaker 2: You know.
- 12:54Speaker 4: By the way, sun Chet isn't the news stuck in Columbia.
- 13:00Speaker 4: Do the passport issues chatcause he.
- 13:02Speaker 5: Has a passport from some other country. But now he says,
- 13:05Speaker 5: I'm an American citizen, but his passport wasn't from America.
- 13:09Speaker 4: Nowhere a sucker for some Chet Hanks.
- 13:11Speaker 8: Nas Hell, yeah, I'm not shocked that he's a Columbia bro,
- 13:13Speaker 8: because that's become very trendy the.
- 13:15Speaker 2: Past few years.
- 13:16Speaker 1: Yeah, the guy's got on there for the straight stuff.
- 13:18Speaker 4: Yeah, Gina grad what you.
- 13:20Speaker 6: Got speaking of people just chit chatting online about somebody.
- 13:23Speaker 6: Kelly Osborne is at her wits end, you guys. She
- 13:27Speaker 6: can't take any more all the comments about her rail thin,
- 13:30Speaker 6: kind of you know, skeletal appearance.
- 13:32Speaker 4: We talked about this like last week of the week before,
- 13:34Speaker 4: because people were making comments, and I said, well, she's
- 13:36Speaker 4: always been well, not always, but more recently she's been
- 13:39Speaker 4: super thin. I saw what everybody is talking about now,
- 13:43Speaker 4: and I will say that, Okay, I understand that nobody
- 13:46Speaker 4: wants people making comments on their appearance, right right, I
- 13:50Speaker 4: get that, But I think from what I'm mostly reading
- 13:53Speaker 4: in the comments, it seems to be out a genuine concern.
- 13:56Speaker 1: Yet it is concerned.
- 13:57Speaker 6: When Greg Gory says, girl, you're too there is a problem.
- 14:01Speaker 6: Because they were at the She and Sharon were at
- 14:04Speaker 6: the brit Awards and they were accepting a Lifetime Achievement
- 14:06Speaker 6: award for Ozzie, and everybody had something to say. And
- 14:10Speaker 6: I mean, she looks colder than Sharon, absolutely, And so
- 14:14Speaker 6: she did this long post on Instagram and she said,
- 14:16Speaker 6: there's a special kind of cruelty in harming someone who
- 14:19Speaker 6: is clearly going through something. Kicking me while I'm down,
- 14:22Speaker 6: doubting my pain, spreading my struggles is gossip and turning
- 14:25Speaker 6: your back when I need support.
- 14:27Speaker 4: And I think it's the opposite of turning the back
- 14:29Speaker 4: because I don't think it's about how you look. I
- 14:31Speaker 4: think how you look is giving people an alarm for concern. Okay,
- 14:37Speaker 4: yeah you need help, and not like your look needs help,
- 14:40Speaker 4: but like you health.
- 14:41Speaker 2: Wise need help.
- 14:42Speaker 4: And then she ended mental physical.
- 14:45Speaker 1: Literally can't believe how disgusting some human beings truly are.
- 14:49Speaker 2: Now.
- 14:49Speaker 4: Some people are dicks in the comments, some of them.
- 14:55Speaker 6: It made me think of when Amy Schumer had all
- 14:57Speaker 6: these pictures out and people were like, girl, I.
- 14:59Speaker 1: Think you have Cushing's disease.
- 15:01Speaker 4: You know.
- 15:01Speaker 6: Instead of being like, screw you guys, she was like,
- 15:04Speaker 6: thank you. She went and got checked out.
- 15:05Speaker 1: She has cushing.
- 15:06Speaker 4: Yeah, what was the dude? What was the Flip or Flop?
- 15:09Speaker 1: Guy?
- 15:09Speaker 4: Tar So, one of some viewer was watching an episode
- 15:13Speaker 4: of Flip or Flop and they said, hey, man, tell
- 15:15Speaker 4: him the go get checked out. And it turns out
- 15:17Speaker 4: of he had like thyroid cancer.
- 15:20Speaker 8: With Amy Schumer's How does she not how does she
- 15:22Speaker 8: undo her cushing disease with Ozmpic?
- 15:24Speaker 1: How did that work?
- 15:26Speaker 2: Like?
- 15:26Speaker 4: Maybe because it does change your parents enough that it
- 15:28Speaker 4: like counteracts.
- 15:30Speaker 2: Look, yeah, it makes your face really swell up.
- 15:33Speaker 6: Yeah yeah, so you know, just take this in the
- 15:36Speaker 6: spirit in which it's intended.
- 15:38Speaker 4: Kelly, Right, Yeah, I understand her being sensitive to it
- 15:41Speaker 4: because she is going through a tough time.
- 15:43Speaker 6: Yeah, but it is it is true, man, Yeah, but
- 15:47Speaker 6: I don't think she doesn't know.
- 15:48Speaker 10: I think that's the point is that people just being like,
- 15:51Speaker 10: oh man, you need to eat something, or you need
- 15:52Speaker 10: to gain weight. It's like, yeah, I'm sure she knows,
- 15:54Speaker 10: and I'm sure she's trying to work through yeah.
- 15:57Speaker 4: Where she's at. I weird thought about this because I
- 16:00Speaker 4: was thinking about Kelly Osbourne Sharon Osbourne, because not only
- 16:03Speaker 4: did you lose your husband, he lost your dad. They're
- 16:06Speaker 4: like pretty much their entire identity is being Ozzy Osbourne's daughter,
- 16:11Speaker 4: Ozzy Osbourne's wife, and now that part's gone, So it's
- 16:15Speaker 4: got to be like a like a total mind us
- 16:17Speaker 4: Who am I Like, Yeah, the golden Goose, for lack
- 16:21Speaker 4: of a better phrase, here is now gone. And you
- 16:24Speaker 4: guys are just completely left to your own devices, you know,
- 16:29Speaker 4: and that's got to be like a you know, just
- 16:30Speaker 4: from like a mental standpoint, really beyond just losing like
- 16:34Speaker 4: your dad's like your whole identity is now like in
- 16:38Speaker 4: the wind.
- 16:38Speaker 1: There's been reality shows based on your father everything.
- 16:41Speaker 2: Yeah, well that was some of the criticism for Kelly
- 16:43Speaker 2: when they said, God, you didn't have to go up
- 16:46Speaker 2: on stage to accept this award. It could have just
- 16:48Speaker 2: been sharing. And that's why they're commenting on the looks
- 16:51Speaker 2: because she chose to go up and accept the award.
- 16:53Speaker 4: Oh yeah, because it was also an honor of her dad.
- 16:55Speaker 2: Exactly. Man, it's what you got.
- 16:59Speaker 5: Did you see that revealed that he got in an
- 17:02Speaker 5: ATV accident just before the Grammys is.
- 17:05Speaker 4: Out Today's Daily Jelly Roll RIEU Jelly's everywhere.
- 17:12Speaker 1: Man is weird?
- 17:13Speaker 5: I don't That's what I'm saying. Does he have a
- 17:15Speaker 5: teleportation machine?
- 17:17Speaker 4: Like?
- 17:17Speaker 5: I don't understand, like how he has He's in every
- 17:20Speaker 5: single event, He's in every concert.
- 17:23Speaker 4: Everything having I was having a conversation with some industry folks,
- 17:26Speaker 4: music industry folks, and he is definitely the point of
- 17:30Speaker 4: oversaturation to like a dangerous point of oversaturation where people
- 17:34Speaker 4: might just get like so like, yeah, could you get
- 17:37Speaker 4: burned out on it?
- 17:38Speaker 2: Right? And he's a great guy.
- 17:39Speaker 4: This is nothing about Jelly as a person or as
- 17:41Speaker 4: a musician or anything else where you get to like uh.
- 17:44Speaker 4: And it came up about how everybody's belief is that
- 17:48Speaker 4: he's got terrible management and that they're not everywhere, they're
- 17:52Speaker 4: not looking out for him, they're just saying yes to everything.
- 17:54Speaker 4: They're just like they're they're milking it for all that
- 17:57Speaker 4: it's worth.
- 17:57Speaker 8: Now.
- 17:57Speaker 4: I don't know how much he has to say about that.
- 18:00Speaker 4: He probably should have more, but he's he seems to
- 18:02Speaker 4: be a guy who's just so happy that anybody is
- 18:04Speaker 4: like paying attention to be at this point in his life.
- 18:06Speaker 4: And he's not in prison, he's not addicted to the
- 18:08Speaker 4: drugs and things like that. People could be taking advantage
- 18:12Speaker 4: of that. And that was like just the circle people
- 18:14Speaker 4: that I was talking these are all there, These are
- 18:16Speaker 4: all not gossipy people per se. These are people who
- 18:19Speaker 4: genuinely genuinely love this guy, and they're like, I think
- 18:22Speaker 4: I think he's got bad management.
- 18:24Speaker 5: Well, if you look at like his schedule and watch
- 18:27Speaker 5: some events he'll be at like three different major events
- 18:31Speaker 5: within twenty four hours. Yea, yeah, the point right, yeah,
- 18:34Speaker 5: like coastal. It is the life that you wish to live, menace,
- 18:38Speaker 5: I do, I do. I want that, but I don't
- 18:42Speaker 5: want to get in the ATV accident, which he revealed
- 18:44Speaker 5: that because he was at the Grammys and apparently with
- 18:47Speaker 5: a broken collarbone and he performed, and he just revealed
- 18:51Speaker 5: it the other day.
- 18:52Speaker 8: Greg, I'll give you the caption that his wife put
- 18:54Speaker 8: on the video. Okay, when your hubby snaps his collarbone
- 18:57Speaker 8: in half after flipping on ATV and thinks he's so
- 19:00Speaker 8: tough with a neck brace on, crying, laughing face.
- 19:02Speaker 1: And then what happens that feeling?
- 19:04Speaker 8: When that feeling when forgetting I thought I thought we'd
- 19:07Speaker 8: be done with the Wedns.
- 19:08Speaker 2: That's what he did.
- 19:09Speaker 4: He post a picture from the hospital, just his little
- 19:11Speaker 4: like a hospital.
- 19:14Speaker 8: For me.
- 19:15Speaker 3: This is.
- 19:19Speaker 8: All right.
- 19:19Speaker 4: Some other things to talk about. The When we Were
- 19:24Speaker 4: Young festival and Punk in the Park, both festivals not
- 19:27Speaker 4: happening this year. The organizers said in a statement that
- 19:31Speaker 4: it would return When we Were Young We'll return in
- 19:33Speaker 4: twenty twenty seven. But the Punk in the Park they
- 19:36Speaker 4: canceled not only all their twenty twenty six events Pittsburgh, Malahoe, California, Orlando.
- 19:41Speaker 4: It was all because of backlash over a donation made
- 19:46Speaker 4: the Trump's presidential campaign by the festival owner. Took that
- 19:50Speaker 4: one down.
- 19:51Speaker 1: Literally, it's over. Forgot. It was like a two donation
- 19:54Speaker 1: or something.
- 19:54Speaker 4: Oh yeah, something yeah, and then brought them the whole
- 19:57Speaker 4: thing down. Who's looking this up?
- 19:59Speaker 1: You know plenty of people.
- 20:01Speaker 2: People are people.
- 20:01Speaker 4: Are crazier and crazier with all this politics stuff.
- 20:05Speaker 1: All the haha, gotcha.
- 20:06Speaker 4: Yeah. Zendia and Tom Holland are already married. According to
- 20:10Speaker 4: Zenda's stylist, Chelsea Handler went topless to urge men to
- 20:15Speaker 4: get vissectomies. She is there is there a more topless
- 20:18Speaker 4: like we talk about like pick me girls or attention
- 20:21Speaker 4: whorees or whatever. Is there a bigger one than Chelsea Handler?
- 20:24Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 20:24Speaker 7: I meant to be.
- 20:26Speaker 4: It's such a trihard. She's such a try hard and
- 20:30Speaker 4: like the thing is, like she's funny and I like
- 20:31Speaker 4: her and everything else. You should like, you don't have
- 20:34Speaker 4: to you don't have to do that.
- 20:37Speaker 6: No, true, but she she looks good, she got a
- 20:39Speaker 6: good boob job.
- 20:40Speaker 7: She wants to show it up and how old is she?
- 20:42Speaker 4: She looks great for that'd be good, I mean, good
- 20:44Speaker 4: for her. But it just it's trying. It's such a try.
- 20:48Speaker 6: All guys want chicks to take their tops up and
- 20:50Speaker 6: they do in their tryhards.
- 20:51Speaker 2: No, don't, don't, don't. She looks good. I think good
- 20:55Speaker 2: for her.
- 20:55Speaker 1: Okay, fifty one, right for her? So why wouldn't you
- 20:58Speaker 1: want to see that?
- 21:00Speaker 4: This goes to like every like Chelsea? How can I
- 21:03Speaker 4: explain this better?
- 21:04Speaker 2: Sea? Bass? I think if if this is her first
- 21:07Speaker 2: time doing it, I would Yeah, you're right right.
- 21:09Speaker 4: Yeah, she's going to always has to go back to
- 21:13Speaker 4: It's like Madonna or or Madonna is another try hard
- 21:16Speaker 4: when it comes to like, dude, we get it it.
- 21:19Speaker 2: That's weird you say that. I was kind of getting
- 21:21Speaker 2: Madonna vibes.
- 21:21Speaker 8: This is also sort of the like the first time
- 21:23Speaker 8: Britney Spears danced around a bikini with knives. I was like, oh,
- 21:26Speaker 8: now we're like, eh.
- 21:27Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, just it's a bit of a try. In
- 21:31Speaker 4: one man's opinion.
- 21:34Speaker 2: We're gonna shi Dave, we won't sit like it's Shia
- 21:39Speaker 2: and you know.
- 21:40Speaker 4: We don't do and starting with some celebrities. Happy birthday
- 21:44Speaker 4: to Jessica Biel. It was forty four today. David Faustino,
- 21:49Speaker 4: Bud Bundy from Married with Children doing fifty two.
- 21:52Speaker 2: They're getting ready to do ours. They were gonna day.
- 21:55Speaker 2: Did I have reunion things?
- 21:56Speaker 8: Oh?
- 21:56Speaker 1: They had the reunion try I believe, I don't know.
- 21:59Speaker 2: We did it already.
- 22:00Speaker 1: Yeah, we were out of topkode. I had tickets.
- 22:02Speaker 4: David Faustino's fifty two, Julie Bowen, their dumpy on Modern
- 22:06Speaker 4: Family is fifty six Tone Look, wild Thing, Funky Cole Medina.
- 22:10Speaker 4: He is sixty today, the greatest female track and field
- 22:14Speaker 4: athlete ever. Jackie Joyner Kersey is sixty four. Pop singer
- 22:18Speaker 4: Camia Cabello is twenty nine. Herschel Walker, former NFL Star
- 22:22Speaker 4: Hyphen Trophy winner, is sixty four.
- 22:25Speaker 2: And then your porno.
- 22:26Speaker 4: Birthday today is Leah Falcon and today's birthday girl. She
- 22:31Speaker 4: goes down more than Greg's WiFi. That is quite a bit,
- 22:34Speaker 4: very unreliable.
- 22:35Speaker 2: Yeah, especially on a hot day.
- 22:36Speaker 4: Three hundred and seventy one fine films, including a Paste
- 22:39Speaker 4: to My Face, Volume thirty. She was in anal Sluts
- 22:43Speaker 4: Like It Raw. Also the Dark Side of Her Moon
- 22:46Speaker 4: Volume four. She was in Blonde Squirt Better. Also, Greg,
- 22:50Speaker 4: here you go, America's got Lesbians Love. She was in
- 22:53Speaker 4: Wetter Than Splash Mountain. Also Gotta Cook a Mall, Cook
- 22:58Speaker 4: a doodle Doo, and who can forget her unforgetable role
- 23:01Speaker 4: in butter Stuffed booty Hole. Butter does make everything better.
- 23:08Speaker 4: Butter and butter and bacon. Oh my god, that's a
- 23:10Speaker 4: Leiah Falcon who is thirty eight years old today. And
- 23:14Speaker 4: that report birthday, your celebrity birthdays, and that is a Tuesday.
- 23:18Speaker 4: Look what's happening around the world of entertainment. You're on
- 23:21Speaker 4: the Wooded Show.
- 23:24Speaker 9: Show.
- 23:27Speaker 4: It's another new hour insensitivity training for a politically correct world. Wooding,
- 23:34Speaker 4: Greg Ye Guni, grond Sea Bass, we got Sammy, Hello
- 23:39Speaker 4: Morgan and more like Vaughan Dumbass, Tyler Bord mentioning. Collectively,
- 23:46Speaker 4: we are the Woody Show. Ye phones are open eight
- 23:48Speaker 4: seven seven forty four Wooding Text over to two two
- 23:52Speaker 4: nine eight seven. Some news headlines coming to for you
- 23:56Speaker 4: this hour, Gregor, are you gonna share your unpopped of
- 24:00Speaker 4: their opinion? Did you come up with the determination? Greg's
- 24:04Speaker 4: been on the fence. I've been on the fence.
- 24:05Speaker 2: But it does have a huge caveat which I told
- 24:08Speaker 2: you about that we were walking.
- 24:09Speaker 4: We were walking to our cars down the garage after
- 24:12Speaker 4: the show yesterday, and uh, Greg is like, hey, so
- 24:16Speaker 4: I got this unpopular opinion right, and I wanted to
- 24:19Speaker 4: talk to you about before we went on the air
- 24:21Speaker 4: with it, right because it's you know, it's it's what
- 24:24Speaker 4: I've never heard before.
- 24:25Speaker 1: I'll be honestly, did you.
- 24:27Speaker 2: Tell you what it is?
- 24:28Speaker 1: Russ?
- 24:30Speaker 2: That's why. But to be fair with Gina as well,
- 24:32Speaker 2: I gave you the caveat too.
- 24:34Speaker 4: So now because Morgan's got one, Yeah, I'm dying here.
- 24:40Speaker 4: But also Morgan Morgan is unashamed.
- 24:43Speaker 5: I stay popular, Greg hash shame.
- 24:47Speaker 4: I took a guess about what it was going to be.
- 24:50Speaker 4: But I'm like, there's no way he'd be on the
- 24:52Speaker 4: fence about this one because he was talking about his
- 24:55Speaker 4: mac and cheese thing.
- 24:56Speaker 2: Greg.
- 24:56Speaker 4: Oh yeah, like he said, to break to you all.
- 25:01Speaker 4: I hate to break it to you, but the mac
- 25:03Speaker 4: and cheese that has the sauce instead of the powder
- 25:05Speaker 4: is superior by Vita, is superior to crafty trillion percent.
- 25:13Speaker 2: I agree with Greg. Oh my god, the powder stuff.
- 25:15Speaker 1: The powder hits hard I'll never buy it again, shout
- 25:19Speaker 1: out Craft.
- 25:19Speaker 4: Because you guys your trashy. But kidding, I do like
- 25:22Speaker 4: I'm kidding, I do like both. I like both to me.
- 25:26Speaker 4: To me, the Craft mac and cheese and the Velveta
- 25:28Speaker 4: style macagee. There are two different things. It's like comparing
- 25:31Speaker 4: New York style pizza to Chicago deep.
- 25:33Speaker 1: And one comes to shells and one comes to Helbow macar.
- 25:35Speaker 4: And one is like I feel, I feel like there
- 25:38Speaker 4: are those are two different things. It's like all easy
- 25:41Speaker 4: mac is different than the stuff that you make where
- 25:43Speaker 4: you boil the noodles and you chef.
- 25:46Speaker 1: Yeah, we did both.
- 25:48Speaker 2: What do you mean. Yeah, the last few times I
- 25:54Speaker 2: had the powder, I thought maybe my taste buds broke
- 25:56Speaker 2: because it would tasted like plain pasta.
- 25:59Speaker 8: It was.
- 26:02Speaker 2: Yeah, I'll die on that hill though, And no shame
- 26:04Speaker 2: about that.
- 26:05Speaker 4: So that that's, uh, maybe an unpopular opinion with people
- 26:08Speaker 4: like Menace Sammy.
- 26:10Speaker 2: Right, but that I can live with. But the thing is,
- 26:14Speaker 2: the caveat is unless you work in a big city
- 26:18Speaker 2: where you have skyscrapers or you're out in the wilderness,
- 26:21Speaker 2: those got the exemption. But otherwise, if you're a small
- 26:25Speaker 2: town fireman, and people are like, oh, you're a hero
- 26:28Speaker 2: and your your job is so dangerous. I kind of
- 26:31Speaker 2: I don't agree with that because here's why. If you
- 26:36Speaker 2: if you, if you roll up to a house fire,
- 26:38Speaker 2: right and it's just a town, it's not a skyscraper,
- 26:41Speaker 2: it's just a town. You jump out of the truck,
- 26:43Speaker 2: you get your hose, you aim the hose at the
- 26:45Speaker 2: fire on the house, and you're standing there with the hose. Awesome.
- 26:50Speaker 2: The other day I had an issue with my sprinkler system.
- 26:54Speaker 4: I had to add some context for.
- 26:55Speaker 2: Greg, which you swayed me on. That would be. But
- 26:59Speaker 2: the other day I was having an issue with my
- 27:00Speaker 2: sprinkler system and in my backyard there's this steep hill,
- 27:03Speaker 2: so I had to use the hose to water some
- 27:05Speaker 2: of the plants. And I'm standing there with my hose
- 27:08Speaker 2: getting to the top of the hill. And that's what
- 27:11Speaker 2: I thought. I thought, I'm a fireman right now. That's
- 27:14Speaker 2: what firemen do.
- 27:15Speaker 4: The like they go into the structure, they fight the fire,
- 27:19Speaker 4: they pull people out. There's firefighters. This is some of
- 27:21Speaker 4: the stuff I told Greg. I'm like, yeah, it's mega dangerous.
- 27:25Speaker 4: They wouldn't even need to they wouldn't even need to
- 27:27Speaker 4: get like their gear on. If it was just stand
- 27:30Speaker 4: one hundred that hose, that's valid. They go up on
- 27:34Speaker 4: the roof, they cut to vent the roof collapse. Like,
- 27:37Speaker 4: that's how a lot of these guys end up dying smoking.
- 27:40Speaker 4: What do you think that comes from from standing there
- 27:42Speaker 4: with a hose and squirting it towards the fire?
- 27:44Speaker 2: I watched I watched Rescue Me Woodie. That was about
- 27:48Speaker 2: firefighters and they would fall through ceilings and roofs and
- 27:52Speaker 2: it was so what do you think about that is
- 27:53Speaker 2: very scary? I agree, that's.
- 27:56Speaker 4: Show what I'm saying in real life, like they do
- 27:58Speaker 4: that of course because the buildings are bigger.
- 28:01Speaker 2: Well you no, but they bent the roof.
- 28:05Speaker 5: I'm on your side. I'm just saying, like a fire
- 28:07Speaker 5: is a fire to me. But I'm asking Greg, yes,
- 28:10Speaker 5: just because the buildings are bigger, they're more of a hero.
- 28:13Speaker 7: Well, yes, I get where Greg's coming from.
- 28:15Speaker 2: Because if you're going into a skyscraper and you're on
- 28:18Speaker 2: the forty second floor, obviously that's more dangerous than standing
- 28:21Speaker 2: on a sidewalk with the hose going.
- 28:22Speaker 6: Sh well, and I think that's the that's the distinction.
- 28:25Speaker 6: You're thinking one goes in and one stays out.
- 28:28Speaker 2: Right and going in. Obviously, you just walk near a
- 28:31Speaker 2: campfire and you feel the heat, So obviously going into
- 28:33Speaker 2: a fire scary af But if you're going on one of.
- 28:36Speaker 1: Those, yeah, what do you think the oxygen tanks and
- 28:38Speaker 1: the masks and all that stuff.
- 28:40Speaker 2: Two feet away?
- 28:41Speaker 3: I totally get that if you're go in.
- 28:45Speaker 1: Okay, thank you, Okay, falls on firefighters never go on time.
- 28:50Speaker 2: Maybe they do, but if you and sometimes they get
- 28:53Speaker 2: on those uh what do you call it? A cherry picker,
- 28:55Speaker 2: like those ladders with the basket and then they go
- 28:57Speaker 2: up and then they go do the hose from there. Okay, safety.
- 29:01Speaker 2: When I watered my law on the other day, I
- 29:04Speaker 2: was a firefighter.
- 29:05Speaker 4: Wait, let me see if I have using Greg's own
- 29:08Speaker 4: logic and things that he has actually said, and.
- 29:11Speaker 2: It's a bit scattered. I agree. Okay, So.
- 29:15Speaker 4: Firefighter not brave and heroic.
- 29:19Speaker 2: You're overlooking person.
- 29:21Speaker 4: Who person who poops at work.
- 29:24Speaker 2: Like a Navy seal.
- 29:27Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, yeah, firefighter not brave heroic.
- 29:33Speaker 2: You're totally twisting someone who eats.
- 29:35Speaker 1: A diner alone.
- 29:37Speaker 4: Yeah, somebody somebody who comes to rescue Greg from a
- 29:42Speaker 4: bug or butterfly hero.
- 29:45Speaker 7: Did you call the fight?
- 29:48Speaker 2: I did?
- 29:48Speaker 4: Well?
- 29:49Speaker 2: I know no, I did not.
- 29:53Speaker 7: Are the heroes and that.
- 29:54Speaker 2: They would have been, yes, because they're entering the danger
- 29:57Speaker 2: and overlooking my caveats. If you go in, of course,
- 30:02Speaker 2: that's dangerous. Yeah, just you could burn yourself on a
- 30:05Speaker 2: stove like Gina's done eight thousand.
- 30:07Speaker 1: My god, I'm like zebra.
- 30:09Speaker 2: Dangerous. Ovens are dangerous. Fires are dangerous, of course, But
- 30:12Speaker 2: when you're standing one hundred feet away and aiming a
- 30:14Speaker 2: hose at it, all right?
- 30:15Speaker 3: Cool?
- 30:15Speaker 2: Like, hey, honey, I risk my life today.
- 30:19Speaker 5: I would argue bigger cities have more fire preparation and
- 30:23Speaker 5: like even these modern buildings that the skyscrapers have, like
- 30:28Speaker 5: all these systems in place to help fight fires, that
- 30:31Speaker 5: would help the firefighter versus somebody in a small town.
- 30:34Speaker 4: Greg, here we go, Come do a little ride along
- 30:37Speaker 4: with us, Greg.
- 30:38Speaker 1: Yeah, that would be very cood.
- 30:40Speaker 2: I've always wanted to Greg.
- 30:41Speaker 10: I would like to say, you understand that firefighters when
- 30:44Speaker 10: they go on the scene of a fire are working
- 30:46Speaker 10: as a team. Correct, So like it's this guy's job
- 30:49Speaker 10: who's standing on the chair. I picked her to do
- 30:51Speaker 10: that job to help protect the other ones who are
- 30:53Speaker 10: going in like they're all working together, so everyone's job
- 30:56Speaker 10: is equally as important when they're on the scene.
- 30:59Speaker 1: Yes, I understand that you think's location, you're not as
- 31:02Speaker 1: much of the here.
- 31:03Speaker 6: Well you're basically I mean this is kind of basic,
- 31:06Speaker 6: like math, Like closer you are to a fire, scarier
- 31:09Speaker 6: it is if you're sitting on the other side of
- 31:11Speaker 6: the street, not as scary.
- 31:12Speaker 4: Right, Well, that's that's a that's that's Gregg's unpopular opinion.
- 31:16Speaker 2: Very he was he was wrestling mod I see it
- 31:19Speaker 2: in your face.
- 31:19Speaker 7: You kind of get it.
- 31:20Speaker 3: But I think that you were so nervous, so even
- 31:22Speaker 3: bring this up that I thought it was going to
- 31:23Speaker 3: be like ten times work.
- 31:26Speaker 2: What did you think it was going to be?
- 31:27Speaker 7: Oh god, I don't I thought it was gonna be
- 31:28Speaker 7: a boss.
- 31:29Speaker 5: Well, I think there's more of a hot taking. You
- 31:31Speaker 5: brought it up before. I don't want I don't know
- 31:33Speaker 5: if you want to bring it up again. But your
- 31:34Speaker 5: whole thing on AIDS was way hotter.
- 31:38Speaker 1: This is years ago. This is like this is what
- 31:40Speaker 1: this is hot. This is that was way older than
- 31:45Speaker 1: this is Gregg's.
- 31:47Speaker 4: We did an unpopular segment like two thousand and seven yeah,
- 31:51Speaker 4: I'm not even kidding. It was probably like two thousand
- 31:53Speaker 4: and six, two thousand and seven, and you never forgot.
- 31:55Speaker 2: It was very, very very simple and easy to remember.
- 31:59Speaker 4: Now, keep in mind we also we're doing the show
- 32:01Speaker 4: we were we were based in San Francisco.
- 32:05Speaker 2: This was I but it's non popular I think today.
- 32:08Speaker 2: It's not even a hot take. It's just a logical take.
- 32:11Speaker 2: The A in aids stands for acquired, So don't acquire it.
- 32:17Speaker 6: There's ways acquire its sense you kind of can't argue
- 32:21Speaker 6: with simple, Yeah.
- 32:22Speaker 2: Simple, simple, you can't. It stands for acquired, don't acquire it.
- 32:27Speaker 2: There are ways to not acquire it.
- 32:29Speaker 4: Yeah, like don't get cancer.
- 32:31Speaker 2: Remember back in the that's totally different. That's totally there
- 32:35Speaker 2: was cancer. Yeah, if it was exactly remember and you
- 32:40Speaker 2: mentioned two thousand and seven San Francisco, they had these
- 32:42Speaker 2: things called bug Chaser party.
- 32:44Speaker 1: My god, that's I've heard about that.
- 32:46Speaker 2: So that's when one person crazy has HIV and the
- 32:50Speaker 2: rest of the group doesn't know which one and they
- 32:52Speaker 2: all have sex with each other because it's kind of
- 32:53Speaker 2: like Russian roulette, and then you're supposed to cry if
- 32:57Speaker 2: you get ill. Sorry, not going to do it.
- 33:00Speaker 6: And this is long before the days of like prep
- 33:03Speaker 6: and you know, like medicine you could take.
- 33:04Speaker 2: Right and you're actively going out for me.
- 33:09Speaker 1: I remember we did a story about that Iron News.
- 33:11Speaker 4: I understand crazy people are weird, but like, what in
- 33:16Speaker 4: any kind of numbers or is this just like one
- 33:19Speaker 4: group of psychos like the people that followed that guy
- 33:22Speaker 4: thinking the spaceship was coming themselves? Right, It's not a
- 33:27Speaker 4: thing like it's one group of dumbasses.
- 33:30Speaker 2: Sure, but I mean if if one person did it,
- 33:33Speaker 2: that's one too many.
- 33:34Speaker 4: I don't think that Greg could ever lift the hose
- 33:36Speaker 4: or the handle or handle the water pressure.
- 33:39Speaker 2: True, I can barely lift anything.
- 33:41Speaker 4: Gregam all for the police hate because they're hypocrites.
- 33:45Speaker 5: Greg is like any first responders responders, yeare.
- 33:50Speaker 2: For the police hate because they're hypocrites.
- 33:52Speaker 4: But firefighters is too far, dude, Greg just has to
- 33:55Speaker 4: be the dumbest thing you've ever said.
- 33:56Speaker 7: That's where do you draw a line there?
- 33:58Speaker 2: That's right? And nobody hearing the.
- 34:00Speaker 6: Caveat Well, that's how you know that this that you
- 34:03Speaker 6: made a good take. Because it's controversial, some agree, some dissa, but.
- 34:06Speaker 2: Everybody's taking it all or nothing. All firefighters not brave.
- 34:09Speaker 2: That's not what I'm.
- 34:10Speaker 7: Saying outside the house in a small town.
- 34:14Speaker 4: Greg, my son is a firefighter, and I think you're
- 34:16Speaker 4: just talking to get people fired up.
- 34:18Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what he does.
- 34:20Speaker 4: Firefighters have all my respect. I hope no one comes
- 34:22Speaker 4: to help you when the butterfly touches your.
- 34:24Speaker 2: Face, and it won't matter. I'll be gone.
- 34:30Speaker 1: Greg, you hate fire.
- 34:31Speaker 7: That is a good point, though.
- 34:33Speaker 3: The hose you were holding in your yard is not
- 34:35Speaker 3: the big strong hose that they use take ten dudes
- 34:38Speaker 3: to hold that.
- 34:39Speaker 1: I live in a small town with a volunteer fire department.
- 34:41Speaker 1: We basically call them the pad coolers because they show
- 34:45Speaker 1: up to cool off the pad after.
- 34:46Speaker 4: The house is burned down.
- 34:48Speaker 2: Pad coolers. Yeah, like the like the once hits out
- 34:51Speaker 2: and then get it all the embers and the hot spots. Right.
- 34:54Speaker 2: I think I could do that if I could help
- 34:56Speaker 2: lifting the.
- 34:56Speaker 7: Hose a volunteer firefighter.
- 34:58Speaker 2: Right, three of I was holding the hose.
- 35:01Speaker 1: Chili slide down a pole, right, hang out with a
- 35:03Speaker 1: bunch of dudes.
- 35:04Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean lucky you slide down the pole the
- 35:08Speaker 4: handle hoses. That sounds like Greg's dream. Yeah, alright, won't
- 35:15Speaker 4: be there for the calendar.
- 35:16Speaker 2: Shoot, you know.
- 35:16Speaker 4: Yes, God, alright, eight seven forty four Wooding, We'll take
- 35:21Speaker 4: a break, we'll come back, and then Morgan, you need to
- 35:23Speaker 4: share your unpopular opinion.
- 35:25Speaker 7: Yeah, but mine's not as crazy as Greg Gory.
- 35:28Speaker 2: Alright, that's next on The Woody Show.
- 35:30Speaker 5: Hanger would be considered a preservative, genetically.
- 35:34Speaker 6: Modified, genetically modified men's origin.
- 35:38Speaker 4: Maybe, Yes, that's exactly right, The Woody Show.
- 35:46Speaker 2: The Woody Show. So Greg was teetering. I was scared.
- 35:55Speaker 1: Yeah, you want to know, man, I guess it's unpopular opinion.
- 35:59Speaker 4: I just don't know if I why all alone on
- 36:01Speaker 4: this one even share this one.
- 36:02Speaker 2: But he did.
- 36:04Speaker 1: He is brave.
- 36:05Speaker 4: Yeah, he is like firefighters and my red.
- 36:09Speaker 2: Don't overlook.
- 36:11Speaker 4: And if you're just tuning in, you just heard what
- 36:13Speaker 4: Jda said, go back on the podcast. They'll get the
- 36:17Speaker 4: thing anyway. The other person had an unpopular opinion was Morgan. Yes,
- 36:20Speaker 4: but I mean you know what I mean. Greg broke
- 36:23Speaker 4: the ice in a pretty great way. If you're going
- 36:24Speaker 4: to share an unpopular opinion, you might as well have
- 36:26Speaker 4: Greg with his.
- 36:27Speaker 1: Yeah, you're welcome the way follow this one.
- 36:30Speaker 2: You're welcome. It's a nice wide past.
- 36:32Speaker 7: Yeah, thank you, Greg, so we should kill all of
- 36:35Speaker 7: these people.
- 36:36Speaker 4: Oh, I'm just kidding.
- 36:38Speaker 3: Mine is this goes back to Tyra Banks. We all
- 36:42Speaker 3: know Tyra Banks right from that show America's Next Top
- 36:45Speaker 3: Model Unpopular opinion in the room. I love that new
- 36:48Speaker 3: documentary about it. I thought it was super interesting. But
- 36:50Speaker 3: my hot take is, I don't think Tyra Banks is
- 36:54Speaker 3: a bad person.
- 36:54Speaker 7: I think she was.
- 36:55Speaker 3: Doing the best she could with what she had. I
- 36:58Speaker 3: think she did a good job for most of those girls.
- 37:00Speaker 3: I don't think we should hate her. I think all
- 37:01Speaker 3: the internet hate of like, oh.
- 37:03Speaker 7: She never apologizes, she's narcissistic.
- 37:05Speaker 1: No, she's not.
- 37:06Speaker 7: She apologized at least once in the documentary.
- 37:09Speaker 5: Yeah, she apologized once.
- 37:11Speaker 7: And you guys don't like her apology, that's not her problem.
- 37:14Speaker 5: I don't think I disagree with you at all on
- 37:17Speaker 5: any of that. I just think like she was trying
- 37:19Speaker 5: to make a.
- 37:19Speaker 3: Good show, right and from her background is like one
- 37:22Speaker 3: of the first black you know, not super tiny models
- 37:26Speaker 3: who was treated the way she was treated. I think
- 37:28Speaker 3: her intentions were good. I think there were sometimes she
- 37:31Speaker 3: didn't make the best decision, but we're human. And then
- 37:34Speaker 3: looking back, she made one of the most popular reality
- 37:37Speaker 3: shows of all time.
- 37:38Speaker 6: Well, you know who totally agrees with you, which if
- 37:40Speaker 6: anyone's gonna take this take, we have to listen to
- 37:43Speaker 6: her is the Cycle one winner Adrian Curry, who got
- 37:46Speaker 6: crazy screwed by Tyron and she's like, why are people
- 37:49Speaker 6: making her apologize?
- 37:51Speaker 1: If she doesn't want to apologize, get over it.
- 37:53Speaker 4: So let's everybody knows so much about this, Like, I
- 37:54Speaker 4: know who Tyra banks is.
- 37:56Speaker 5: Documentary was a big deal.
- 38:00Speaker 3: But even just back in the day before everything got
- 38:02Speaker 3: super piecy, like what did she do wrong?
- 38:06Speaker 1: Well, here, here's the thing.
- 38:08Speaker 5: This is where people are gonna have the argument, and
- 38:10Speaker 5: this is where I kind of have like a gray
- 38:12Speaker 5: area with it. It's a lot of people that like
- 38:15Speaker 5: desperately want opportunity, that come from absolutely nothing, and then
- 38:20Speaker 5: so they're willing to do anything, and the producers of
- 38:23Speaker 5: the show know that, right, and then so they put
- 38:26Speaker 5: them so they exploit them and put them in those situations.
- 38:29Speaker 5: And but at the end of the day, even though
- 38:32Speaker 5: you are extremely vulnerable and you come from nothing, you
- 38:35Speaker 5: have nothing, you still have the final decision to do
- 38:39Speaker 5: something or not.
- 38:40Speaker 7: You chose to go on that.
- 38:42Speaker 5: Yeah, so that's why I have the gray area, right.
- 38:45Speaker 10: And to MENACE's point, Tyra, there's no rhyme or reason.
- 38:49Speaker 1: There was one girl who.
- 38:50Speaker 10: Was in it who had gap teeth, and she made
- 38:52Speaker 10: her close it and they fixed her teeth and was like,
- 38:54Speaker 10: you know, your teeth suck and you need to do this,
- 38:56Speaker 10: and she didn't want to do it, and now she's
- 38:57Speaker 10: stuck with the new teeth that tire gave her. And
- 39:00Speaker 10: the very next season, a girl who had gap to you.
- 39:02Speaker 10: They were like, oh my gosh, it's so beautiful. We
- 39:04Speaker 10: love the gap in your teeth.
- 39:05Speaker 1: Right, you know what this is like to me? I
- 39:06Speaker 1: don't know if you agree with this.
- 39:08Speaker 4: Have you ever been the one friend hanging out with
- 39:11Speaker 4: a group of people but they're all that's like a
- 39:14Speaker 4: different friend group. You're kind of like the outside and
- 39:16Speaker 4: they're having a conversation about people and things, maybe situations.
- 39:19Speaker 4: They're all very much you know it, But you're sitting
- 39:23Speaker 4: there like with your beer going yea. But take away,
- 39:26Speaker 4: like Tyer Banks, take away everything. Take away like what
- 39:30Speaker 4: the show name is or anything. It's just this this
- 39:33Speaker 4: situation I had, like people have again come from nothing.
- 39:38Speaker 4: They have opportunity to be on a television show.
- 39:40Speaker 7: And now you have trauma, Like get over.
- 39:43Speaker 4: Anybody else with a hot takes unpopular opinion.
- 39:46Speaker 1: I have two and you know what it is. What
- 39:48Speaker 1: it is?
- 39:49Speaker 6: Sorry, you know, be mad at somebody else. I am
- 39:51Speaker 6: so sick of people calling themselves like, like, what do
- 39:54Speaker 6: you do for a living? I'm an entrepreneur.
- 39:56Speaker 1: If you call your it doesn't have the cachet.
- 39:58Speaker 6: That you think it does or that it wants. Did
- 40:00Speaker 6: you call yourself an entrepreneur as your career? To me,
- 40:04Speaker 6: you sound like just like an unemployed dreamer with a website,
- 40:09Speaker 6: Like You're just like one day, yeah, one day I'm
- 40:12Speaker 6: gonna beat like, you're an entrepreneur.
- 40:13Speaker 1: What exactly does that mean? Exactly?
- 40:16Speaker 6: I'm so sick you're labeling themselves influencer and entrepreneur.
- 40:21Speaker 4: You're absolutely right, yeah, like you like you can easily
- 40:24Speaker 4: just say like if you're going to say you're an entrepreneur,
- 40:25Speaker 4: just say you're in sales. Say you're I'm a businessman.
- 40:29Speaker 1: Exact business business man.
- 40:31Speaker 4: Yeah, Like what okay, so what do you do? Like
- 40:33Speaker 4: what you're you're an entrepreneur? You you started a business?
- 40:35Speaker 4: What is your business?
- 40:37Speaker 2: What do you do? What? What?
- 40:38Speaker 4: What segment of industry are you representing with your business exactly.
- 40:42Speaker 6: And that's kind of also a word that other people
- 40:45Speaker 6: call you, like, oh, I do this, I do this.
- 40:46Speaker 1: Oh so you're an entrepreneur. You're not like, well, I
- 40:48Speaker 1: am an entrepreneur. I just think you sound like a jackass.
- 40:51Speaker 2: Okay.
- 40:52Speaker 6: My other one is I feel like we're I was
- 40:55Speaker 6: gonna say we're all on the same page with this,
- 40:56Speaker 6: but I might be wrong. It is one hundred percent
- 41:00Speaker 6: scent the fault of Gen X and millennials that kids
- 41:05Speaker 6: are soft and lazy and weak, because we're always blaming
- 41:08Speaker 6: the kids. We're always like, oh, they're participation trophies. They
- 41:11Speaker 6: don't give themselves participation trophies.
- 41:13Speaker 1: That's true.
- 41:14Speaker 6: The parents are like a trophy to participate. Why do
- 41:17Speaker 6: we blame them? We did this, we created this, and
- 41:20Speaker 6: we never take responsibility for it.
- 41:22Speaker 4: Agree, I mean, because it was boomer parents that were
- 41:25Speaker 4: responsible for the rough and tumble generation acts, thank you?
- 41:29Speaker 1: And then what did we do right? How we turned
- 41:32Speaker 1: around and handed them a trophy?
- 41:34Speaker 4: A bunch of gen bragging about how you know, we
- 41:36Speaker 4: drank out of hoses and didn't care parents didn't know
- 41:39Speaker 4: where we were, which which is all true. But you're right,
- 41:42Speaker 4: like because people will sometimes and I think because you
- 41:46Speaker 4: know of the way how people are so overprotective, Like
- 41:50Speaker 4: I'm way more lax. I'm not like anything goes how
- 41:53Speaker 4: some of my friend's parents work.
- 41:56Speaker 1: Your kids are not feral, But.
- 41:57Speaker 4: I'm also not how like my mom and my stepdad were.
- 42:01Speaker 4: I'm somewhere in between. Yeah, Like I'm not freaking out
- 42:03Speaker 4: about you know, music or movies or language or certain
- 42:08Speaker 4: things like like it's all about you know, uh time place.
- 42:12Speaker 6: I'm not marching to the school to defend my kid
- 42:14Speaker 6: of the school calls.
- 42:15Speaker 4: Yeah exactly, right, Like I'm telling the school like, hey,
- 42:17Speaker 4: go ahead and beat them if you need to, Like yeah, absolutely,
- 42:20Speaker 4: Like I'm for that kind of stuff, but you're right, like,
- 42:23Speaker 4: how is that doing them?
- 42:25Speaker 2: It reminds me of that saying the road to hell
- 42:27Speaker 2: is paved with good intentions, so they probably had good intentions.
- 42:30Speaker 2: Oh let's give participation trophies and then we blame them
- 42:33Speaker 2: for being soft is yeah exactly, And.
- 42:35Speaker 6: That's it's fine if you want a little souvenir to
- 42:38Speaker 6: show you participated whatever, But we.
- 42:40Speaker 1: Make it this big thing and then they make it
- 42:42Speaker 1: this big thing.
- 42:43Speaker 2: And along those lines, I know we talked about this
- 42:44Speaker 2: many years ago, but I can't remember who said it first.
- 42:47Speaker 2: But women and parents should stop telling their daughters you
- 42:51Speaker 2: can be anything you want to be, like the president,
- 42:53Speaker 2: because they never thought that they couldn't.
- 42:56Speaker 1: I am so put that.
- 42:58Speaker 2: In their head that they can, and they thought, wait
- 42:59Speaker 2: a minut in it before I couldn't. Why couldn't I
- 43:03Speaker 2: even stopped telling them that.
- 43:05Speaker 3: Our kids because I was told that as a kid, right,
- 43:07Speaker 3: And I feel lucky. I don't think I was smart
- 43:09Speaker 3: enough to do the whole reverse psychology of like, well, wait,
- 43:11Speaker 3: if she's saying that, then that means I actually can't
- 43:13Speaker 3: do it.
- 43:14Speaker 6: Like well if they said, Morgie, you can do anything
- 43:17Speaker 6: you want, totally, but Morgan.
- 43:18Speaker 1: Just because you're a girl, don't let that stop you
- 43:20Speaker 1: from as a girl. Yeah, why why.
- 43:24Speaker 2: Have you heard maybe I can't?
- 43:27Speaker 1: Yeah? Why where is it starting?
- 43:29Speaker 7: Very condescending?
- 43:30Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly.
- 43:30Speaker 3: Okay, I just thought of another unpopular opinion. If you
- 43:33Speaker 3: give your baby an iPad, you're a bad parent.
- 43:37Speaker 5: I think a lot of parents are starting to realize, like,
- 43:40Speaker 5: that's not a good thing.
- 43:43Speaker 4: Sorry, I was looking this up because I heard this recently.
- 43:45Speaker 4: I'm like, wow, it's really good. It kind of explains
- 43:47Speaker 4: the generations, right, so starting with uh, you know like Boomers,
- 43:54Speaker 4: gen X, Millennials, gen Z, gen Alpha. Right, so times
- 44:00Speaker 4: create strong men, right, So that's that's the Boomers.
- 44:05Speaker 1: Yep, the greatest generation.
- 44:07Speaker 4: No no, no, no, yeah, the greatest generation who created
- 44:10Speaker 4: the Boomers. Hard times created strong men, right, so the
- 44:14Speaker 4: boomers strong men create good times. So like our parents
- 44:19Speaker 4: created gen X, which was good times nineties like that,
- 44:23Speaker 4: it was good times. It was like it's like that's
- 44:26Speaker 4: the one thing you can X are about, Like you
- 44:28Speaker 4: had to be there, like it was, it was, it
- 44:30Speaker 4: was great times. Yeah, So hard times create strong men.
- 44:35Speaker 4: Strong men create good times. Good times, gen X create
- 44:40Speaker 4: weak men, which is millennials. Weak men create hard times.
- 44:49Speaker 4: And then and then it starts all over again, right,
- 44:51Speaker 4: So by that thinking, so gen X, we created these
- 44:55Speaker 4: millennial pussies, right, millennial pussies create gen Z, which that's
- 45:01Speaker 4: gonna be the hard time, the hard times. And there's
- 45:04Speaker 4: a bunch of different reasons for that, all right, like
- 45:06Speaker 4: different things. You know, life is changing, whether it's a
- 45:10Speaker 4: I or you know whatever, there's a lot there's a
- 45:12Speaker 4: lot of things, right, and then those hard times, well
- 45:16Speaker 4: then breed strong men. So by that logic, my daughter
- 45:20Speaker 4: who's gen z, her kids are going to be awesome,
- 45:24Speaker 4: her kids are her kids are going to be strong
- 45:30Speaker 4: strong men.
- 45:32Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 45:33Speaker 4: Yeah, hard times create strong men. Strong men create good times.
- 45:36Speaker 4: Good times create weak men, and weak men create hard
- 45:39Speaker 4: times and.
- 45:40Speaker 2: Then it starts over.
- 45:43Speaker 1: That's a thinker.
- 45:52Speaker 2: So there's.
- 45:55Speaker 4: There's something I saw in the news, and if I
- 45:58Speaker 4: have to contribute on popular opinion, I guess this. This,
- 46:01Speaker 4: this will be mine. Transgender people living in Kansas have
- 46:06Speaker 4: been ordered to hand back their driver's licenses if they
- 46:08Speaker 4: do not reflect their assigned sex at birth under a
- 46:12Speaker 4: new law.
- 46:13Speaker 2: I'm totally okay with that. What's the point of an
- 46:16Speaker 2: I D.
- 46:17Speaker 4: You know, like you have to verify like Greg and
- 46:19Speaker 4: I were talking about, you know, Greg was bringing up
- 46:21Speaker 4: the real I D thing and all this stuff.
- 46:23Speaker 2: You got to bring in all of this proof to
- 46:25Speaker 2: show who you are.
- 46:26Speaker 4: Yeah, and there was, uh, there was one thing. Oh
- 46:31Speaker 4: they had my my name wrong on on the is
- 46:34Speaker 4: you know e r U y E R this whole thing,
- 46:37Speaker 4: you know, like, what like what are we doing here?
- 46:39Speaker 4: Like I can just I can come in here and
- 46:41Speaker 4: just completely get a license with almost no documentation. But
- 46:44Speaker 4: here's this, and you can't just and she finally.
- 46:48Speaker 2: You can't put together did it? And she did it.
- 46:51Speaker 4: But like, if you can just put whatever you want
- 46:54Speaker 4: on the official state issued, well government issued, then what
- 46:57Speaker 4: does it mean? What does it mean? I might as
- 46:59Speaker 4: well get rid of the stand. Do you remember that
- 47:00Speaker 4: you used to be able to go to Spencer's and
- 47:02Speaker 4: get to make love and driver's license? Yeah, you might
- 47:06Speaker 4: as well just be able to go and just it
- 47:08Speaker 4: doesn't even matter, Like, what's the point of even having
- 47:10Speaker 4: one or showing one? If you can just put whatever
- 47:12Speaker 4: you want on there, you can live your life. And
- 47:14Speaker 4: let me let me preface I should have prefaced early.
- 47:17Speaker 4: You can live your life however you want. I don't care.
- 47:19Speaker 4: It's not about that. It's the point of the id.
- 47:23Speaker 2: Right.
- 47:23Speaker 1: Well, I have two questions.
- 47:24Speaker 6: First of all, as a woman, I know I'm not
- 47:27Speaker 6: alone that I have not put my accurate weight on
- 47:30Speaker 6: my license since I was probably sixteen years old.
- 47:33Speaker 1: Do we all have to start doing that?
- 47:34Speaker 10: You got to step up like that your height on
- 47:38Speaker 10: your license.
- 47:40Speaker 1: Stop taking people's word for it. But here's my question
- 47:43Speaker 1: about because.
- 47:43Speaker 4: I get what you're Yeah, like if okay, let's just
- 47:46Speaker 4: say let's just say, like a super chunk walks into
- 47:49Speaker 4: the DMV right and puts down that there are one
- 47:51Speaker 4: hundred and forty.
- 47:53Speaker 1: Pounds eighty seven pounds.
- 47:55Speaker 4: Right, and someone but like, will they let them walk
- 47:58Speaker 4: out of there.
- 47:58Speaker 1: With that question?
- 48:00Speaker 2: Where they go?
- 48:00Speaker 6: This can just kind of give you the look you
- 48:02Speaker 6: want to try that again? Give it another pass?
- 48:04Speaker 4: Yeah, because that's a legit. That's a that's a legit point.
- 48:08Speaker 4: I'm wondering is there something like when they are do
- 48:11Speaker 4: they because they always look up at you and like
- 48:12Speaker 4: when they're checking in, is.
- 48:14Speaker 1: That your eye color? Is that?
- 48:16Speaker 2: So I'm wondering is that what they're doing?
- 48:18Speaker 1: That's a good question.
- 48:19Speaker 6: Well, my other question would be if you live your
- 48:21Speaker 6: say a woman, say a man lives his life twenty
- 48:25Speaker 6: four hours a day looking like a woman. Isn't the
- 48:28Speaker 6: point of the driver's license to be to talk to
- 48:32Speaker 6: show what you currently look like so they can find
- 48:34Speaker 6: you if they need you.
- 48:35Speaker 4: So that picture would look like that? Yeah, like quote,
- 48:39Speaker 4: you can wear whatever style or whatever.
- 48:41Speaker 6: I just mean like, if you're trying to reflect who
- 48:44Speaker 6: you're looking for at that moment, wouldn't that be more
- 48:47Speaker 6: reflective of who you're looking for?
- 48:49Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 48:49Speaker 4: Because the picture someone looks like the picture. But like
- 48:51Speaker 4: we're talking about the information on the.
- 48:53Speaker 5: Your hair color could be totally different everything, right, yeah,
- 48:58Speaker 5: hair color for anybody though. Yeah, but your hair color
- 49:00Speaker 5: could say it's brown. But so but I guess the point.
- 49:04Speaker 5: I guess the point is we have to make a decision.
- 49:06Speaker 5: Do i DS matter at all?
- 49:08Speaker 2: Like whatever?
- 49:09Speaker 5: Can you just like I think what the real id it?
- 49:13Speaker 5: Just like you know, verifies basically like your where you live,
- 49:19Speaker 5: and then.
- 49:20Speaker 4: Also like some other like I'm saying, but when you
- 49:23Speaker 4: go in for even a basic well before a basic
- 49:25Speaker 4: driver's license, you had to bring whatever utility be able
- 49:28Speaker 4: to prove all these other different things. But there are
- 49:30Speaker 4: certain things you just like, yeah that will over so
- 49:33Speaker 4: like when this comes again, I don't really truly care,
- 49:37Speaker 4: but when they have this as the law, I go,
- 49:40Speaker 4: all right, I don't have a problem with that.
- 49:42Speaker 2: You know, I think that's.
- 49:44Speaker 5: Kind of gonna go away. With facial recognition, like I
- 49:47Speaker 5: don't think you're even gonna help the putt. Yeah, I
- 49:50Speaker 5: don't even think you're gonna even have to put that
- 49:51Speaker 5: information soon because there's just be all facial recognition.
- 49:56Speaker 4: Which that's another unpopular opinion I'm okay with that. Like
- 49:59Speaker 4: how there's care everywhere, like you know, they're everywhere. You know,
- 50:03Speaker 4: people are gonna notice where you're going to the groceries.
- 50:05Speaker 4: I know, big brother, and you know, I guess you're
- 50:08Speaker 4: outside your house.
- 50:09Speaker 2: It's fair.
- 50:10Speaker 5: Yeah, well, Greg, just another wrinkle if you're going to
- 50:14Speaker 5: purchase the car. More and more states are just like
- 50:16Speaker 5: if you don't have a real idea, you can't even
- 50:17Speaker 5: buy the car, right yep, Well, I.
- 50:21Speaker 2: Guess I'll never get another car registration onport No car people.
- 50:31Speaker 4: This is the show, Well it is uh, it is
- 50:35Speaker 4: time to talk tech.
- 50:38Speaker 2: With the Tech.
- 50:39Speaker 4: Reporter Extraordinaiy, the host of the rich on Tech radio show.
- 50:43Speaker 4: It's syndicated on radio stations throughout our fine land. He says,
- 50:48Speaker 4: got his newsletter, the free newsletter free size Free, rich
- 50:55Speaker 4: on Tech dot TV, k t L A tech reporter.
- 50:59Speaker 4: I give you ladies, John and the man himself, Rich
- 51:01Speaker 4: de Miro.
- 51:02Speaker 1: Hey, how do I follow that up?
- 51:08Speaker 2: This? This is a big week, man.
- 51:09Speaker 4: I did see a couple of things about the Apple thing,
- 51:12Speaker 4: which will which we'll get into. People always have, you know,
- 51:15Speaker 4: stuff to talk about, like what it was Apple going
- 51:17Speaker 4: to announce, and you know, it's gonna be cool.
- 51:19Speaker 2: It's gonna be worth it.
- 51:19Speaker 4: Also, U for a sea bass something to talk about
- 51:22Speaker 4: with the Samsung.
- 51:23Speaker 1: We have actual news this week.
- 51:25Speaker 4: Actually, yeah, we'll get into that anyway. Uh, make sure
- 51:28Speaker 4: again you subscribe to his newsletter. Also find Rich on
- 51:31Speaker 4: social media at Rich on Tech. We like talking Rich
- 51:34Speaker 4: again about all this tech stuff more sudden some of
- 51:36Speaker 4: these other people who are well qualified, but they get
- 51:37Speaker 4: like kind of in the weeds on the on the
- 51:40Speaker 4: on the all the tech speak, you know, where you
- 51:42Speaker 4: have to.
- 51:43Speaker 2: Normal, Yeah, what of driver do I need?
- 51:45Speaker 4: Yeah, you have to have a degree like Greg does
- 51:47Speaker 4: from M I T to understand what they're talking about.
- 51:49Speaker 4: But now not with the Rich. We just get into
- 51:50Speaker 4: stuff that maybe you can act, things you can actually use.
- 51:53Speaker 4: And so where do you want to start?
- 51:55Speaker 2: Rich?
- 51:55Speaker 4: So much to talk about.
- 51:56Speaker 9: I think we start with this Sam song because that's
- 51:59Speaker 9: that's kind of consumed most of the news for the
- 52:01Speaker 9: past week, and you know, for good reason. You know,
- 52:04Speaker 9: I've been playing with the new Samsung Galaxy S twenty
- 52:06Speaker 9: six Ultra.
- 52:07Speaker 4: This is their latest flagship phone.
- 52:09Speaker 9: Obviously, they have two other models as well, the S
- 52:11Speaker 9: twenty six, the S twenty six Plus and so what's
- 52:15Speaker 9: new this year. I mean, really the big feature, the
- 52:17Speaker 9: flagship feature, is this privacy screen. And what it does
- 52:22Speaker 9: is if you're looking at your phone head on, you
- 52:25Speaker 9: can see the screen, but someone that's looking from the
- 52:28Speaker 9: side can't see your screen. And not just that, they've
- 52:32Speaker 9: actually taken this a step further because you might say, rich,
- 52:34Speaker 9: I can put a privacy you know, screen for sex.
- 52:36Speaker 4: But I'll say, but that's what you would have to get.
- 52:39Speaker 4: You would have to get an aftermarket like screen protector
- 52:41Speaker 4: to do that. Now is built into the to the phone.
- 52:44Speaker 9: And then so this is hard coded, it's actually technology
- 52:47Speaker 9: in the display itself. So they're using two different types
- 52:50Speaker 9: of pixels, some that can't be seen from the side.
- 52:53Speaker 9: And so what that enables is that if you get
- 52:56Speaker 9: a notification, just that notification could be blacked out from
- 53:00Speaker 9: the side, like the rest of your screen would be
- 53:02Speaker 9: lit up completely. Or you could have this activate when
- 53:05Speaker 9: you open up a certain app. So for instance, if
- 53:08Speaker 9: you open up your dating app, you didn't want people
- 53:10Speaker 9: from the side to see what you're swiping, you can
- 53:12Speaker 9: have it because your wife is.
- 53:14Speaker 1: Like right there and just she'll never know, like she's
- 53:17Speaker 1: looking at it. And then suddenly she doesn't see this.
- 53:19Speaker 5: Oh wow, what does that say? A message says you up?
- 53:22Speaker 4: Yeah, super unprofessional.
- 53:25Speaker 9: Uh.
- 53:25Speaker 4: And so that's the flagship feature. It looks pretty cool.
- 53:27Speaker 9: I mean, you know it's people might be saying, look,
- 53:30Speaker 9: it's not that big of a deal because I could
- 53:31Speaker 9: put that screen protector on. But the screen protector is
- 53:34Speaker 9: like a one size fits all it's always blurring out
- 53:36Speaker 9: the sides, whereas this you can turn it on, you
- 53:39Speaker 9: can turn it off, you can have it activate with
- 53:40Speaker 9: the notifications or the certain apps. Is it a reason
- 53:43Speaker 9: to buy a new phone? Probably not? But is it cool?
- 53:46Speaker 9: And does it put other phonemakers on notice? Absolutely last
- 53:49Speaker 9: I would say yeah.
- 53:51Speaker 5: And also, isn't it funny because it wasn't the big
- 53:53Speaker 5: thing is like, oh, we're gonna use all of the
- 53:55Speaker 5: screen just a couple of years ago where they're gonna
- 53:57Speaker 5: even have it like on the sides, and now there
- 53:59Speaker 5: may in it so you can't even see it from
- 54:01Speaker 5: the side.
- 54:02Speaker 1: It's pretty hilarious.
- 54:03Speaker 8: Well yeah, but it's but it turns on and off.
- 54:05Speaker 8: As Rich is saying, you don't it's it's totally optional
- 54:07Speaker 8: and customizing.
- 54:08Speaker 4: I mean, I like the fact that you don't have
- 54:10Speaker 4: to put like a different screen productor because that was
- 54:11Speaker 4: the first thing. These privacy ones are the first thing
- 54:13Speaker 4: to break. They're so delicate. They are you know, like
- 54:16Speaker 4: yeah they and they get all yeah they fall apart.
- 54:18Speaker 4: Now they fall apart. But like you know, any any
- 54:20Speaker 4: kind of like minor tap or scratch or something, it shatters.
- 54:24Speaker 1: It's just the film on top.
- 54:26Speaker 2: Yes, then you got.
- 54:27Speaker 4: Put a stupid new one on there her laptop and everything.
- 54:33Speaker 2: What was going on?
- 54:34Speaker 4: Was you like kid reading over your shoulder. Yeah, that's
- 54:36Speaker 4: exactly why I have that same problem with our kids.
- 54:38Speaker 1: Hate that crap. He's always just kind of like, what
- 54:40Speaker 1: are you doing? I'm like, none of your business? Right,
- 54:42Speaker 1: So I just got a little magnetic one I can
- 54:43Speaker 1: pull off and on right.
- 54:44Speaker 4: Yeah, God forbid somebody. That's a good Yeah, that's a
- 54:47Speaker 4: good thing for the kids. I didn't think about that.
- 54:49Speaker 2: Somebody text me.
- 54:50Speaker 4: Like, oh what is ga?
- 54:51Speaker 2: Need I go nothing?
- 54:53Speaker 4: It wasn't for you.
- 54:54Speaker 1: She would have texted you none ye business.
- 54:56Speaker 8: And Rich, Look, this is an awesome thing, this new
- 54:58Speaker 8: privacy feature in the Samsung. But let's not forget the
- 55:00Speaker 8: new two hundred megapixel camera, which is like five times
- 55:03Speaker 8: what Apple has a new cinematic video mode, the new
- 55:06Speaker 8: and built in LUTs that they have really impressive.
- 55:10Speaker 4: Yeah, it's something it's like the built in gimbal Is
- 55:12Speaker 4: that kind of.
- 55:13Speaker 9: Yeah, So I've been demoing that on my Instagram at
- 55:16Speaker 9: rich on seconds. It's called horizon lock, and it's a
- 55:19Speaker 9: weird thing because you don't really understand this feature. It's
- 55:21Speaker 9: just basically, no matter how you hold your phone, it's
- 55:24Speaker 9: going to be steady and centered. So whatever you're looking
- 55:27Speaker 9: at the horizon is going to be level. So you
- 55:29Speaker 9: could be skiing down a mountain, you could be walking
- 55:32Speaker 9: through a city, and you know how you hold your phone,
- 55:35Speaker 9: it's like shaking left, right, up, down, you might even
- 55:37Speaker 9: turn your phone.
- 55:38Speaker 4: It's just going to keep the shot exactly the same,
- 55:41Speaker 4: no matter I want to do. People do a film
- 55:42Speaker 4: like the camera's on a gimbal, well, so it kind
- 55:44Speaker 4: of like like it holds that that that camera is
- 55:47Speaker 4: still even know you're still even around centered.
- 55:50Speaker 5: Like I saw you rich demo this on television and
- 55:52Speaker 5: I was highly impressed with it, because again, like sometimes
- 55:56Speaker 5: you want somebody to record something for you and they're
- 55:59Speaker 5: not that great of grandma.
- 56:01Speaker 9: Yeah, just keep me in the middle of Yeah, well
- 56:05Speaker 9: that's all they.
- 56:06Speaker 2: Have to do.
- 56:06Speaker 8: This is a feature that the GoPros have had for
- 56:08Speaker 8: a little while now, and it's awesome to see that
- 56:10Speaker 8: a superior company like Samsung.
- 56:12Speaker 4: We're talking to Rich on tech and the other thing.
- 56:14Speaker 4: Let's talk about the Apple launch. What this is not
- 56:16Speaker 4: like a phone like this is not new the new phone.
- 56:19Speaker 4: This is because they break it up now, right, So
- 56:21Speaker 4: like the iPads and maybe some of the mac book
- 56:23Speaker 4: stuff is what they're going to be talking about this
- 56:24Speaker 4: time through right.
- 56:25Speaker 9: Yeah, so they're calling this a special experience. Uh, it's
- 56:29Speaker 9: in New York City, Shanghai and London, and so these
- 56:33Speaker 9: are more updates to products we already have, plus maybe
- 56:36Speaker 9: some surprises. So already I can tell you they've announced
- 56:39Speaker 9: a new iPhone seventeen E, which is kind of their
- 56:42Speaker 9: budget iPhone that's six hundred bucks. That's going to ship
- 56:45Speaker 9: on get this March eleventh, which is the same day
- 56:48Speaker 9: that the new samsungs are available. Interesting Apple, Apple loves
- 56:53Speaker 9: to do stuff like this. And then they also came
- 56:56Speaker 9: up with an update to the iPad air. Now, don't
- 56:58Speaker 9: forget those are like very price iPads. Most people I
- 57:01Speaker 9: talk to just want the standard iPad. We have not
- 57:03Speaker 9: seen an update for that just yet. But again, the
- 57:06Speaker 9: main thing that we're looking for, that we're hoping for
- 57:09Speaker 9: are these lower priced MacBooks that are supposedly going to
- 57:13Speaker 9: be around the six hundred dollars range, and it'll give
- 57:17Speaker 9: the Chromebooks a run for their money and every cheap
- 57:19Speaker 9: laptop out there. This will be probably the number one
- 57:22Speaker 9: laptop I ever recommend if that happens.
- 57:24Speaker 4: So we're still waiting on that. All right, we're talking
- 57:26Speaker 4: to rich on Tech. You can find them on social media.
- 57:29Speaker 4: You can see the Samsung Galaxy video thing. I forget
- 57:32Speaker 4: what landscape block? Is that?
- 57:33Speaker 2: What it's called?
- 57:33Speaker 1: Horizon?
- 57:34Speaker 4: Horizon horizon the other one?
- 57:36Speaker 9: Yeah, all right, Gina taking notes over there? Yeah, good,
- 57:40Speaker 9: you must have been a good student.
- 57:41Speaker 4: Oh it's horrible, rich on Tech. What else you got
- 57:45Speaker 4: for is, let's see, Okay, how about this? Could you
- 57:47Speaker 4: give up your phone for a full day?
- 57:50Speaker 9: The Global Day of Unplugging is happening this weekend and
- 57:53Speaker 9: I did this one year. It's happening on Friday to Saturday,
- 57:56Speaker 9: starts to sundown to sundown twenty four hours. The idea
- 58:00Speaker 9: is to not you don't have to give up your
- 58:02Speaker 9: phone for the whole time. But the idea is just
- 58:04Speaker 9: to think about it at some point, like give up
- 58:06Speaker 9: your phone for fifteen minutes, don't scroll social media, have
- 58:09Speaker 9: dinner with a friend without putting your phone on the
- 58:11Speaker 9: table face up and looking at every notification. It's kind
- 58:15Speaker 9: of like Earth Day for your attention, that's what they're
- 58:17Speaker 9: calling it. I did this one year. It was really tough.
- 58:21Speaker 9: I had to literally mentally prepare for the whole week
- 58:23Speaker 9: and I did give up my phone for twenty four hours.
- 58:26Speaker 4: It was really tough.
- 58:27Speaker 9: So this year I'll be observing just like maybe the
- 58:29Speaker 9: fifteen minutes or just think about my relationship bychology.
- 58:33Speaker 4: I think I would have no problem doing it.
- 58:35Speaker 2: I could totally. I could totally do it. Does that
- 58:37Speaker 2: include everything, texting? Everything? Yeah?
- 58:39Speaker 4: Yeah, everything, I like scream time.
- 58:41Speaker 2: I think it should be pretty easy, right, I think
- 58:43Speaker 2: I could totally do it. Yeah.
- 58:44Speaker 4: I just don't want to do it on a day
- 58:46Speaker 4: where everybody's doing it just.
- 58:47Speaker 2: To do it.
- 58:47Speaker 1: Oh, you still want to be a joiner.
- 58:49Speaker 4: Yeah, you can give me the anti anti day.
- 58:52Speaker 2: Well, think about this day.
- 58:53Speaker 6: Orthodox Jews have been doing no phone Friday night to
- 58:56Speaker 6: Saturday night forever to.
- 58:57Speaker 2: Get out of tough tabbath.
- 58:59Speaker 4: But I'm thinking, like if I woke up and I said,
- 59:01Speaker 4: you know, I got through the morning, I really hadn't
- 59:02Speaker 4: looked at my phone and go, oh, you know, I'm
- 59:03Speaker 4: gonna go the rest of the day without doing it. Yeah,
- 59:05Speaker 4: but like not just because it's whatever, Global Day of.
- 59:07Speaker 1: Unplugg Baker, Global Day of Unplugging.
- 59:10Speaker 2: Yeah, I get that.
- 59:11Speaker 4: It's a good challenge a bummer sticker on your car.
- 59:14Speaker 11: Right.
- 59:15Speaker 4: Look, I feel bad if.
- 59:16Speaker 9: I'm not replying to someone's text quickly like I will sometimes.
- 59:19Speaker 9: You know, I'm testing a lot of phones, so sometimes
- 59:21Speaker 9: I won't have my iPhone with me or whatever, Like
- 59:23Speaker 9: right now, I'm using the Samsung, so if someone texts me,
- 59:25Speaker 9: I may not see it for a couple hours, and
- 59:27Speaker 9: I feel bad. And so I think that these notifications
- 59:31Speaker 9: really get us. I think just in general replying to texts, emails,
- 59:35Speaker 9: we are just so obsessed with our phones because they
- 59:37Speaker 9: do so much. Now it's not just a phone call,
- 59:40Speaker 9: it is you know, tap to pay. Like I don't
- 59:42Speaker 9: have my phone with me, I can't pay practically. So
- 59:45Speaker 9: I think that that's the problem with where our phones
- 59:47Speaker 9: have gotten so embedded in our everyday lives.
- 59:49Speaker 4: Giving them up is tougher than it has been ever.
- 59:52Speaker 4: All right, well we're talking to rich on Tech. Use
- 59:55Speaker 4: that phone to sign up for his newsletter rich on
- 59:58Speaker 4: Tech dot tv. You can to find him on social
- 1:00:01Speaker 4: media at rich on Tech. Rich If you can hang
- 1:00:03Speaker 4: out for one second, we're gonna take a quick break.
- 1:00:05Speaker 4: We'll come back. I got a couple more things that
- 1:00:06Speaker 4: want to bring up. And then also we got to
- 1:00:08Speaker 4: get the gadget.
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: Of the week.
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: Oh yeah, Woody.
- 1:00:15Speaker 4: Show, we're back within. Rich Jamira rich on Tech kcla
- 1:00:20Speaker 4: tech reporter. He's the host of the rich on Tech
- 1:00:23Speaker 4: radio show, heard on a ton of radio stations across
- 1:00:27Speaker 4: the country. You could subscribe to his free newsletter at
- 1:00:30Speaker 4: richon Tech dot tv. You also find him on a
- 1:00:33Speaker 4: social media at rich on Tech. And so he's going
- 1:00:37Speaker 4: to be at the Apple launch event. He's talking about
- 1:00:40Speaker 4: the Samsung Galaxy S twenty six, and everybody's been talking
- 1:00:43Speaker 4: about Sea Bass. I think finished while we were talking
- 1:00:46Speaker 4: about that.
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: I'm getting this twenty six. Yeah, it's been four years.
- 1:00:49Speaker 4: Hey, I keep getting bombarded. I don't know if it's
- 1:00:52Speaker 4: just like a marketing push or just somehow ended up
- 1:00:55Speaker 4: in my algorithm. What do you know about cloaked. So
- 1:00:59Speaker 4: there's a couple of things.
- 1:01:00Speaker 9: Cloak takes like a really like kind of I would say,
- 1:01:03Speaker 9: heavy handed approach to being anonymous online.
- 1:01:06Speaker 4: So when you go on that website, you can.
- 1:01:08Speaker 9: Create not a new identity per se, but basically you
- 1:01:12Speaker 9: can create an email address, unique email address, unique phone number,
- 1:01:16Speaker 9: and a unique credit card for anything that you're transacting with.
- 1:01:19Speaker 9: So if you truly want to like sign up for
- 1:01:22Speaker 9: a service and have it separate from everything else that
- 1:01:25Speaker 9: you have as your identity on the internet, you can
- 1:01:27Speaker 9: do that and it'll keep track of all that stuff
- 1:01:29Speaker 9: for you. I mean, I've not personally tested it. I've
- 1:01:32Speaker 9: interviewed the founder a bunch of times. I've gone to
- 1:01:35Speaker 9: the website to me personally, like, it would take a
- 1:01:38Speaker 9: lot for me to kind of come up with all
- 1:01:40Speaker 9: these different, you know, identities on my for my various accounts.
- 1:01:44Speaker 9: I will tell you, I think for most people something
- 1:01:47Speaker 9: that might be a little bit simpler to things. Number one,
- 1:01:50Speaker 9: there's something called an email alias that you can do,
- 1:01:52Speaker 9: and if you pay for iCloud, it's actually built into
- 1:01:55Speaker 9: your iPhone. So you might have seen this pop up before.
- 1:01:58Speaker 9: If you're surfing the web. Yeah, and you see it
- 1:02:00Speaker 9: where it's like it gives you that weird random email addresses.
- 1:02:02Speaker 4: Hey, do you forward your email?
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: That's what that is.
- 1:02:05Speaker 4: So yeah, that's an email alias.
- 1:02:06Speaker 9: So basically you create that email and then if you
- 1:02:10Speaker 9: ever want to get you know, if they're spamming you
- 1:02:11Speaker 9: too much or whatever, you can just turn off that email.
- 1:02:14Speaker 9: So you can go into your settings on your iPhone,
- 1:02:16Speaker 9: tap your name at the top, tap iCloud, and then
- 1:02:19Speaker 9: scroll down and look for hide my email. And you
- 1:02:21Speaker 9: can create an email address at any time and use
- 1:02:24Speaker 9: that for a website you're signing up for. So that's
- 1:02:27Speaker 9: that's kind of a neat thing because the activate it
- 1:02:29Speaker 9: if you'l So.
- 1:02:29Speaker 4: When you're signing up for something and you got to
- 1:02:31Speaker 4: put an email address in there, you do the alias
- 1:02:33Speaker 4: email right, Like let's say you wanted to say, let's
- 1:02:37Speaker 4: say you wanted to sign back in. Do you have
- 1:02:38Speaker 4: to remember what random ass email generated for you? Yes,
- 1:02:42Speaker 4: but your iPhone will do that for you.
- 1:02:44Speaker 9: So it's in the passwords app, or it's in that
- 1:02:46Speaker 9: that thing where I just showed you. It'll tell you
- 1:02:49Speaker 9: like all of your like I didn't realize i'd set.
- 1:02:51Speaker 4: Up like two hundred and twenty of those.
- 1:02:52Speaker 9: Throughout the time I've been using my iPhone and it's
- 1:02:55Speaker 9: like all these different websites, but the emails forward to
- 1:02:59Speaker 9: your Actually.
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: You don't know the different Yeah, yah, gotcha, we're.
- 1:03:03Speaker 4: Talking to Rich on tech. What else you got for
- 1:03:05Speaker 4: is this week?
- 1:03:05Speaker 9: Rich interesting new weather app? I thought this was kind
- 1:03:08Speaker 9: of cool. Do you ever get that notification on your
- 1:03:10Speaker 9: iPhone that tells you when it's going to rain, like
- 1:03:13Speaker 9: in the next minute or something that's not always perfect?
- 1:03:16Speaker 9: But that was a company called dark Sky. They came
- 1:03:19Speaker 9: up with that. Apple purchased them, immediately shut down the
- 1:03:21Speaker 9: weather app. But people loved this weather app. Now they
- 1:03:24Speaker 9: came out with the same people came out with a
- 1:03:27Speaker 9: new weather app called Acme Weather and a couple of
- 1:03:30Speaker 9: unique things.
- 1:03:31Speaker 4: Number one like the Roadrunner from.
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: Does it come with an anvil?
- 1:03:35Speaker 4: Okay, it comes with TNT that you can explode a weather.
- 1:03:40Speaker 9: So this shows you multiple possibilities for your forecast. So
- 1:03:43Speaker 9: it's saying like, hey, we understand that forecasts aren't always right,
- 1:03:46Speaker 9: so it shows you kind of align with variations.
- 1:03:48Speaker 4: That's one thing, But I think what's really cool is
- 1:03:50Speaker 4: that it.
- 1:03:51Speaker 9: Shows you fun alerts, so not just the minute by
- 1:03:54Speaker 9: minute weather, but now it'll tell you if there's a
- 1:03:56Speaker 9: cool rainbow in your.
- 1:03:57Speaker 4: Neighborhood, which.
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: Kind of fun.
- 1:04:05Speaker 9: And then a great sunset in your area too, so
- 1:04:08Speaker 9: if the sunset is going to be awesome, it'll tell you.
- 1:04:10Speaker 4: So, I don't know, it's just kind of fun.
- 1:04:12Speaker 9: I mean, weather apps are not the most exciting thing,
- 1:04:14Speaker 9: but but it's the weather accurate couple.
- 1:04:15Speaker 2: Of new features. That's the problem with Apple the iPhone
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: weather app. It sucks. It's never accurate.
- 1:04:21Speaker 4: Well a lot of times if it shows saying and
- 1:04:22Speaker 4: that's yeah. Here's here's the trick though, because a lot
- 1:04:26Speaker 4: of times, if you see it says rain for you know, the.
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: Day, it breaks it down by a hour two.
- 1:04:32Speaker 4: You have to click into it to see when the
- 1:04:34Speaker 4: rain and then how much because sometimes it'll it'll have
- 1:04:36Speaker 4: the little rain emoji on there for something that's like
- 1:04:39Speaker 4: at two o'clock in the morning, yeah, and for like
- 1:04:42Speaker 4: less than a tenth of an inch. Yeah, But yet
- 1:04:44Speaker 4: it puts rain for the day and raining all day.
- 1:04:48Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:04:49Speaker 4: So you have to go through a couple of different
- 1:04:50Speaker 4: layers to see if it's even going to be you know, accurate,
- 1:04:53Speaker 4: but Rich, you said.
- 1:04:54Speaker 6: Something at the very beginning that I just want to
- 1:04:55Speaker 6: make sure I heard correctly. Did you say that Apple
- 1:04:58Speaker 6: bought out dark Sky just to get rid of it.
- 1:05:00Speaker 5: Well, they took their technology to implement it into their
- 1:05:03Speaker 5: own head.
- 1:05:03Speaker 6: They made it sound like, you know what, you guys
- 1:05:05Speaker 6: are a little too uh, you're competing a little too heavy.
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: We just want you to buy you to go away.
- 1:05:09Speaker 2: No, they bought it.
- 1:05:10Speaker 4: They used that one feature, and then they just shut
- 1:05:12Speaker 4: down the app because they embedded that feature into the
- 1:05:15Speaker 4: Apple Weather thing. But what I think is funny is
- 1:05:17Speaker 4: like they made all this money from Apple for this thing,
- 1:05:19Speaker 4: and they went and started a whole nother They don't
- 1:05:21Speaker 4: care a.
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: Contract.
- 1:05:26Speaker 9: Maybe it was no there was because this was a
- 1:05:28Speaker 9: couple of years ago, so they waited until the day
- 1:05:30Speaker 9: the non compete was out.
- 1:05:32Speaker 4: Okay, now let's make some more money.
- 1:05:34Speaker 9: But the thing that that Apple did, of course, that
- 1:05:36Speaker 9: really pissed a lot of people off, is that they
- 1:05:38Speaker 9: shut down the Android version of dark Sky instantly, which was.
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: Like, that's kind of what, Yeah, That's kind of my point.
- 1:05:44Speaker 4: Is they're like, you know, you told us about this app,
- 1:05:47Speaker 4: and I use it. It's great, but I have iPhones,
- 1:05:49Speaker 4: so not a problem. But we have a whisper Flow
- 1:05:52Speaker 4: that that speech to text thing. It's really good, Like
- 1:05:56Speaker 4: you can be sitting there in a meeting and barely
- 1:05:59Speaker 4: be speaking and it up everything and it does it
- 1:06:01Speaker 4: way more accurately than if you were just using a
- 1:06:03Speaker 4: little microphone, you know, button on the.
- 1:06:05Speaker 2: On the speed of text thing.
- 1:06:06Speaker 5: Can Apple buy that company?
- 1:06:08Speaker 4: Well no, so it got It's now for Android, so
- 1:06:12Speaker 4: they have an Android version.
- 1:06:13Speaker 9: Nice, right, But yeah, I would I would argue that
- 1:06:16Speaker 9: it's actually better on Android because of the way it's
- 1:06:19Speaker 9: set up. So on iPhone you have to do this
- 1:06:22Speaker 9: weird thing for privacy purposes where you switch to the
- 1:06:24Speaker 9: keyboard and then you switch back to the app.
- 1:06:26Speaker 4: It's kind of annoying, but you get used to it.
- 1:06:28Speaker 4: On Android, whisper Flow it's wi spr by the way,
- 1:06:32Speaker 4: whisper Flow it pops up anytime you type or anytime
- 1:06:36Speaker 4: you put your finger into a that sounded weird. Anytime
- 1:06:40Speaker 4: you tap into a textbox.
- 1:06:42Speaker 9: It will pop up the whisper Flow icon, and so
- 1:06:45Speaker 9: you can start transcribing immediately, which is really a little
- 1:06:48Speaker 9: bit easier.
- 1:06:49Speaker 2: Yeah, it's super accurate.
- 1:06:51Speaker 9: It's using AI to figure out exactly what's really good,
- 1:06:53Speaker 9: and you can stumble. So if you start talking and
- 1:06:56Speaker 9: then stop and then stumble and say, oh I need
- 1:06:58Speaker 9: seven sweet potatoes. Oh I mean four sweet potatoes, it
- 1:07:01Speaker 9: will correct immediately. It's really like me and always buying
- 1:07:05Speaker 9: sweet potatoes.
- 1:07:06Speaker 6: It's just so you don't have to end every text
- 1:07:09Speaker 6: with sorry, talk to texts. Does it sound so bad?
- 1:07:12Speaker 4: Oh?
- 1:07:12Speaker 9: By the way, I made it even easier for you
- 1:07:14Speaker 9: guys to you know, I know a lot of people
- 1:07:16Speaker 9: listen to this and hear what I talk about, and
- 1:07:17Speaker 9: so they go to try to find the link on
- 1:07:19Speaker 9: my website.
- 1:07:20Speaker 4: If you go to rich on tech dot TV, there's
- 1:07:21Speaker 4: a star at the top.
- 1:07:22Speaker 9: If you hit that star everything that I talk about,
- 1:07:25Speaker 9: I'm gonna put all the links right there, easier than
- 1:07:28Speaker 9: every to find.
- 1:07:28Speaker 4: All right, what about the gadget of the week. This
- 1:07:31Speaker 4: is kind of fun. I've had this in my wallet now.
- 1:07:33Speaker 9: It is the key smart smart card, and it's basically
- 1:07:37Speaker 9: an air tag but the size of a credit card,
- 1:07:39Speaker 9: which is not necessarily new, but this one is.
- 1:07:42Speaker 4: It's brand new. It's only one point eight millimeters stick.
- 1:07:45Speaker 9: So, like I said about the size of a credit
- 1:07:46Speaker 9: card or two may be stacked on top of each other.
- 1:07:49Speaker 4: But the ney thing is that it now works with
- 1:07:52Speaker 4: both apples find My and Androids trackers. So if you
- 1:07:56Speaker 4: have an Android or an iPhone, you can buy one
- 1:07:59Speaker 4: card and it works with both. Not only that, but
- 1:08:01Speaker 4: it also recharges wirelessly, so charge. Yeah, so the charge
- 1:08:06Speaker 4: will last for about eleven months. You can put it
- 1:08:08Speaker 4: on your standard iPhone or Android wireless charger. It plays
- 1:08:12Speaker 4: a sound so you can find it. You know. What
- 1:08:14Speaker 4: you can do is you can put an air tag on.
- 1:08:16Speaker 4: I was just thinking about that smart smart card.
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: I'm going off the sick AirTag on the card.
- 1:08:22Speaker 4: Yeah, that's perfect, and it'll be like the size of
- 1:08:24Speaker 4: like ten credit cards.
- 1:08:25Speaker 3: Yes each other.
- 1:08:26Speaker 4: But that's fine, that's right.
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:08:29Speaker 9: It sells for about forty dollars and it's just the
- 1:08:31Speaker 9: only thing you don't get versus an air tag is
- 1:08:34Speaker 9: what's called precision finding. So an air tag your phone
- 1:08:37Speaker 9: can lead you like right to it when you get close.
- 1:08:40Speaker 9: This obviously is just going to show you where it
- 1:08:42Speaker 9: is on the map and make that sound so and
- 1:08:44Speaker 9: also tell you if it's left behind, Like I don't
- 1:08:46Speaker 9: know about you. When I when I leave my house,
- 1:08:48Speaker 9: I get like fifteen alerts, Yes you left behind it's
- 1:08:50Speaker 9: like like ten things.
- 1:08:52Speaker 4: I'm like, yes, I meant to leave all of those
- 1:08:54Speaker 4: things behind Apple, thank you. Yeah, we had to get
- 1:08:57Speaker 4: one of these things for my son's wallet because idiot
- 1:09:00Speaker 4: putting it down in random places and where's we will
- 1:09:03Speaker 4: can't find it. And so now he's got one of
- 1:09:05Speaker 4: these cards that's in the wallet.
- 1:09:07Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:09:08Speaker 4: Perfect, because you know my parents just to say this, like, yo,
- 1:09:11Speaker 4: you'd forget your head if it wasn't attached to you.
- 1:09:14Speaker 4: But like now I understand that one thousand percent.
- 1:09:17Speaker 2: Get it.
- 1:09:18Speaker 9: The one time I will tell you that I that
- 1:09:20Speaker 9: I actually lost something my AirPods that I needed to find,
- 1:09:23Speaker 9: I could not ever find them. So the one time
- 1:09:25Speaker 9: I needed the air tag's functionality to find my actually,
- 1:09:28Speaker 9: like someone must have taken.
- 1:09:29Speaker 4: These things so fast and ran off of them because
- 1:09:32Speaker 4: I just couldn't. Who knows, well it's Rich to me
- 1:09:35Speaker 4: or everybody. Yeah. So again, you can get the podcast

- 1:10:37Speaker 2: Hey, good morning, Jeff G. What's up? Good morning? What
- 1:10:40Speaker 2: do you show?
- 1:10:40Speaker 11: Clippers were down at the half, but they came all
- 1:10:42Speaker 11: the way back to beat the Warriors last nighter.
- 1:10:46Speaker 2: Letard and the Clippers have numbers.
- 1:10:48Speaker 11: Math in the foul Matthain had seventeen, Kawhi Leonard twenty three.
- 1:10:53Speaker 11: Moving on to the Lakers, they host the Pelicans tonight
- 1:10:56Speaker 11: at Crypto dot Com Marina seven pm. Start Lake Show.
- 1:10:59Speaker 11: Looking to make it three in a row. Now, speaking
- 1:11:01Speaker 11: of the Lakers, would he show. I don't know if
- 1:11:03Speaker 11: you knew this, but Luca speaks some great Spanish. He
- 1:11:06Speaker 11: actually spent a few years in Spain playing for Real Madrid,
- 1:11:10Speaker 11: so here he is teaching his Laker teammates some Spanish.
- 1:11:13Speaker 2: Welcome to languages with Luca and Espaniel.
- 1:11:16Speaker 12: Our next phrase is no pasanada. Can you say no pasanada,
- 1:11:20Speaker 12: no pasanada. Let me see no pasanada. No pasanada. No
- 1:11:25Speaker 12: pasanada means no big deal, no big deal.
- 1:11:28Speaker 2: No Pasanada. Woody show trunky, trnky.
- 1:11:31Speaker 4: Next lesson for the Lakers should be no manches.
- 1:11:33Speaker 11: By the way, that video is up right now on
- 1:11:35Speaker 11: my ig story at JEFG the sports Dude.
- 1:11:38Speaker 2: Moving on to hockey.
- 1:11:39Speaker 11: NHL Kings lost to the Avs last night, Aves and
- 1:11:42Speaker 11: Ducks tonight in Orange County. Dodgers and Angels both won
- 1:11:44Speaker 11: their spring training games yesterday, Dodgers, Guardians today, Halo's and
- 1:11:48Speaker 11: Seattle today as well, And finally this morning. USC men's
- 1:11:52Speaker 11: basketball player Chad Baker Mazara was dismissed from the team
- 1:11:55Speaker 11: over the weekend for apparent disciplinary issues.
- 1:11:58Speaker 2: It's kind of a weird story.
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: He left during the game.
- 1:12:00Speaker 11: He told the coach he couldn't go anymore, and then
- 1:12:03Speaker 11: he's just left and sat in the stand with the fans. Now,
- 1:12:06Speaker 11: I saw something on the internet this morning that suggests
- 1:12:08Speaker 11: he may have falsified his Dominican birth certificate. It says
- 1:12:12Speaker 11: he's twenty six years old, but he may be older.
- 1:12:15Speaker 11: I'll keep an eye on it and let you know. Man,
- 1:12:16Speaker 11: I'm Jeff Sports, Jeff everybody.
- 1:12:22Speaker 2: Show.
- 1:12:23Speaker 4: All right, let me tell you something I'm really tired
- 1:12:25Speaker 4: of hearing about because I think everybody's making such a
- 1:12:28Speaker 4: big deal about absolutely nothing. This is a nothing burger
- 1:12:32Speaker 4: if I've ever seen it. Okay, Now, do we have
- 1:12:37Speaker 4: a relationship with McDonald's. Do we get gift cards and
- 1:12:40Speaker 4: stuff to give away from time?
- 1:12:42Speaker 2: We sure do?
- 1:12:42Speaker 5: Yeah, we do.
- 1:12:43Speaker 4: Yeah, But that aside, I don't. I wouldn't care if
- 1:12:45Speaker 4: they were a sponsor or not. When it comes out,
- 1:12:47Speaker 4: I would have the same opinion on this. Have you
- 1:12:49Speaker 4: seen all the grief that the CEO has been getting. Yeah,
- 1:12:54Speaker 4: the size of his bite, because there's there's the it's
- 1:12:58Speaker 4: called the big arts, right, huh. And so he tried
- 1:13:01Speaker 4: to be He posted it on I guess he's got
- 1:13:03Speaker 4: and he does a lot of these taste tests.
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: It's not the only time he's done this. Yes, his
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: own social media page.
- 1:13:07Speaker 4: Correct anyway, I thought so his name is Chris something
- 1:13:11Speaker 4: I forget anyway, So the thing goes. I keep seeing
- 1:13:15Speaker 4: all of these posts and it says McDonald's CEO Chris
- 1:13:20Speaker 4: Kebzinski goes viral after seeming reluctant to eat his own burgers.
- 1:13:27Speaker 4: He takes a tiny bite, looks uncomfortable, and calls the
- 1:13:30Speaker 4: food product. Now, this is completely overblown and a nothing thing.
- 1:13:35Speaker 4: It's a giant burger. Is it like a double quarter
- 1:13:38Speaker 4: pounder or is it double whatever? Third pound whatever? Anyway,
- 1:13:43Speaker 4: So he takes a bite and he's got bun, he's
- 1:13:46Speaker 4: got meat, and he's got all this stuff in there.
- 1:13:48Speaker 4: Now did he did he stuff half the burger in
- 1:13:50Speaker 4: his mouth?
- 1:13:51Speaker 2: No, he didn't.
- 1:13:51Speaker 4: He took a bite. I don't think he looked uncomfortable.
- 1:13:54Speaker 4: I don't think he's necessarily the most comfortable person in
- 1:13:56Speaker 4: front of the camera, to be fair, as some of
- 1:13:58Speaker 4: his aren't. But people really seem to be keen on
- 1:14:01Speaker 4: the fact that he called it product. Okay, which I
- 1:14:05Speaker 4: have the clip right here. He says, wow, look at
- 1:14:07Speaker 4: this burger. Now, he says, we're offering a new product.
- 1:14:10Speaker 4: Whatever they're talking because that's what they are. It's industry speak.
- 1:14:14Speaker 4: Like so whenever they roll out something new, it's a product.
- 1:14:16Speaker 4: We have a new product to offer. It's not it
- 1:14:19Speaker 4: has nothing to do with anything else. Yeah, it's like
- 1:14:22Speaker 4: how you call your customers guests, yeah, clientage or whatever.
- 1:14:28Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:14:29Speaker 4: Yeah, you might say yeah, you might say customer or
- 1:14:32Speaker 4: you might say client as opposed to customers. But it's
- 1:14:34Speaker 4: a customer, you know, they call their their stores. It's
- 1:14:38Speaker 4: a restaurant. Yeah you know, yeah, yeah or yeah or
- 1:14:43Speaker 4: the other way around. So, but people are really keying
- 1:14:45Speaker 4: on that. I would never try something that he's calling
- 1:14:47Speaker 4: a product like this is what we're.
- 1:14:50Speaker 2: King on here with you've heard about it here. It
- 1:14:55Speaker 2: is the big arch.
- 1:14:57Speaker 13: This is something that we have tested already in Portugal, Germany, Canada.
- 1:15:03Speaker 2: I love this product. It is so good, all right,
- 1:15:05Speaker 2: So it's like, hey, we have it's a new thing.
- 1:15:07Speaker 2: He's it's the same.
- 1:15:09Speaker 4: We We are guilty of it in this industry all
- 1:15:11Speaker 4: the time. We say win tickets to the show and
- 1:15:15Speaker 4: a meet and greet, like a meet and great you're
- 1:15:16Speaker 4: gonna meet the band like we have these like oh
- 1:15:19Speaker 4: and then you'll get a picture in front of the
- 1:15:20Speaker 4: step and repeat.
- 1:15:22Speaker 2: Activation. Yeah, oh we get that all the time.
- 1:15:25Speaker 4: Like uh hey, uh as as fans, you'll have a
- 1:15:28Speaker 4: chance for uh you know, to win prizes, uh activations
- 1:15:32Speaker 4: on site like activation, what does that mean?
- 1:15:35Speaker 2: It's stuff for you to.
- 1:15:35Speaker 4: Do, maybe games, you know, maybe some interact kind some
- 1:15:41Speaker 4: interactive kind of thing. Yea, but gobos Yeah yeah, the
- 1:15:44Speaker 4: CEO looks absolutely uncomfortable. He didn't even eat a fry.
- 1:15:47Speaker 4: It's hilarious, but like I don't understand.
- 1:15:50Speaker 7: Fries aren't the new product either.
- 1:15:52Speaker 2: Oh don't say products.
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: Oh yeah, sorry, just the new edible offering.
- 1:15:59Speaker 2: When I do a tay thing right now. But I'm
- 1:16:00Speaker 2: gonna eat this form my lunch, just so you know.
- 1:16:03Speaker 4: So here we go first, because they one of the
- 1:16:06Speaker 4: things I guess was this guy was getting criticized like
- 1:16:08Speaker 4: there's no way this guy ever eats a McDonald's. So
- 1:16:11Speaker 4: I think he threw it in there as like I'm
- 1:16:12Speaker 4: meeting this from my lunch. Whether he did or not,
- 1:16:15Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 1:16:15Speaker 2: I don't care. I'm not going a big deal about
- 1:16:17Speaker 2: that either. My lunch, just so you know. So here
- 1:16:19Speaker 2: we go first, Holy cow, God, that is a big burger.
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: Oh wait what big burger?
- 1:16:27Speaker 2: Yeah, so it's it's weird.
- 1:16:30Speaker 4: We see stuff all the time when people hit us
- 1:16:32Speaker 4: up on the text and they key on something very
- 1:16:34Speaker 4: strange or very odd, like what does that have to
- 1:16:37Speaker 4: do with anything? So this is like they do they
- 1:16:42Speaker 4: do well, and that's the thing.
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: It's like, we get it.
- 1:16:45Speaker 6: The guy's weird, but is that it's not everything's a conspiracy,
- 1:16:48Speaker 6: not everything's a gotcha.
- 1:16:49Speaker 2: I think he's weird.
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: Oh, he's just a bit of us. He's a dork,
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: he's a Wayfishquef's.
- 1:16:55Speaker 9: Weird.
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: He's a little fancy boy.
- 1:16:57Speaker 2: Yeah, he's a dude. He's a CEO.
- 1:17:00Speaker 8: With this guy makes more money than we'll ever make combined. Right,
- 1:17:02Speaker 8: he's a little fancy guy. Looks like a little southern Yeah,
- 1:17:08Speaker 8: you know he does. When he's slamming a half pound
- 1:17:10Speaker 8: plus burger, it doesn't look right.
- 1:17:11Speaker 2: I get it.
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: That's the only thing.
- 1:17:13Speaker 2: He's not enjoying it.
- 1:17:14Speaker 4: But do you see like there's a disproportionate amount of
- 1:17:17Speaker 4: attention being paid to it, like for all the wrong reasons,
- 1:17:20Speaker 4: Like the product that they're not saying anything.
- 1:17:22Speaker 2: That's just industry speak. Yeah, And people are saying, oh,
- 1:17:26Speaker 2: he doesn't even pretend to devour it. Why would you
- 1:17:29Speaker 2: do that on video?
- 1:17:31Speaker 8: That's not Yeah, that's not his thing. Also, this is
- 1:17:35Speaker 8: a classic case of the Internet follows the leader. Is
- 1:17:37Speaker 8: one person does something, it gets in traction, then everyone else, Well,
- 1:17:39Speaker 8: I want to write the things.
- 1:17:40Speaker 1: It doesn't matter what I think. You've already made my
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: opinion up for me. So yeah, because I know that
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: people are going to interact with you, because it's safe,
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: but edgy.
- 1:17:48Speaker 4: Because I've noticed that everybody who's posting about this, they're
- 1:17:51Speaker 4: using the exact same phrase, Donald CEO, and they use
- 1:17:53Speaker 4: his name goes viral just seeming reluctant to eat his
- 1:17:56Speaker 4: own burgers. He takes a tiny bite, looks uncomfortable and
- 1:17:59Speaker 4: calls the food product with a couple of burgermo. But
- 1:18:02Speaker 4: they copy and paste the exact same thing, and whatever
- 1:18:05Speaker 4: video they're now making.
- 1:18:06Speaker 5: They're that desperate for interaction on their page.
- 1:18:09Speaker 2: But I will say, after two minutes and forty seconds,
- 1:18:11Speaker 2: it does look like he barely ate a single crumb
- 1:18:14Speaker 2: of it.
- 1:18:15Speaker 1: Do you think he's a friend of Mary greg I.
- 1:18:19Speaker 2: That's a good, good question. I'm looking because he's.
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: Very thin, very neat. Yeah, right, Seinfeld stuff.
- 1:18:24Speaker 2: I mean I wish we own that exclusively, but no,
- 1:18:27Speaker 2: I mean see him.
- 1:18:29Speaker 5: This is a nice church going guy.
- 1:18:31Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, he could hang out the Chris lies or something.
- 1:18:34Speaker 2: And the end of the video almost it's indistinguishable if
- 1:18:38Speaker 2: there has been a bite taken, so I will know, well, no,
- 1:18:41Speaker 2: he did.
- 1:18:41Speaker 4: He did show that he took it.
- 1:18:42Speaker 2: Yeah, there he is.
- 1:18:43Speaker 4: He's showing like the bite that he took, and then
- 1:18:45Speaker 4: he spends the rest of the time talking. So yeah,
- 1:18:47Speaker 4: I run into watch all my.
- 1:18:49Speaker 2: Food in my plate.
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: This is a classic menage moment.
- 1:18:52Speaker 8: He could say, oh he meant to do be awkward
- 1:18:53Speaker 8: the whole time because it would get people talking about
- 1:18:55Speaker 8: the new problem.
- 1:18:56Speaker 2: He doesn't really mean. I don't know. Yeah, maybe, but
- 1:19:01Speaker 2: it is man's nightmare that he's not inhaling it and
- 1:19:04Speaker 2: then rushing off to the next thing.
- 1:19:06Speaker 4: I know.
- 1:19:06Speaker 5: Yeah, but he's a dude, and he's at the headquarters.
- 1:19:10Speaker 5: Because at the bottom of the headquarters, which is in Chicago,
- 1:19:12Speaker 5: if nobody knows, they have international menus. You can get
- 1:19:17Speaker 5: all the items from around the world. So if you
- 1:19:19Speaker 5: go to Chicago. Well, just everybody else actually cares. If
- 1:19:22Speaker 5: you go to Chicago and you visit Chicago, make sure
- 1:19:25Speaker 5: you go to headquarters because you can try everything from
- 1:19:27Speaker 5: around the world or at the bottom of their building.
- 1:19:29Speaker 4: It'll be fun, all right eighty four Woody, you can
- 1:19:34Speaker 4: text us over to two two nine eighty seven. It's
- 1:19:37Speaker 4: March March Fatness here at the Woody Show. And yeah,
- 1:19:41Speaker 4: we got our first March Fatness twenty twenty six. Challenge
- 1:19:46Speaker 4: you get a challenge, taste product, you bring a product innovation,
- 1:19:51Speaker 4: but innovation this has never before seen stuff.
- 1:19:53Speaker 2: Like tastes better than challenge. That's scary obstacle.
- 1:19:56Speaker 4: Yeah, well, yeah, I don't know what it is. Sea
- 1:20:00Speaker 4: Bass is the one who's in.
- 1:20:01Speaker 2: Charge of it.
- 1:20:02Speaker 8: Will be taking a quarter of a bite of a
- 1:20:04Speaker 8: mc arch or whatever the hell the thing is. What's
- 1:20:07Speaker 8: it called the big arch?
- 1:20:10Speaker 2: Big Arch? It is pretty big. Does look good? I
- 1:20:12Speaker 2: mean it looks it looks big. Yeah, that fun looks
- 1:20:15Speaker 2: good too. What do you say it was? Hold on,
- 1:20:17Speaker 2: hold on, I got a product. It is so good.
- 1:20:19Speaker 13: I'm gonna do a tasting right now, but I'm gonna
- 1:20:21Speaker 13: eat this for my lunch, just so you know.
- 1:20:23Speaker 2: So here we go first, Holy cow got bigger.
- 1:20:28Speaker 13: We've got a very unique kind of sesame poppy sort
- 1:20:32Speaker 13: of bun on it. You've got two quarter pound patties,
- 1:20:37Speaker 13: a delicious big arch sauce.
- 1:20:40Speaker 4: Did they didn't they already have a double quarter pounder.
- 1:20:43Speaker 8: Yeah, it is seeds. You're correct, what it's the same
- 1:20:49Speaker 8: amount of meat. It's just a different, different concoction, a
- 1:20:54Speaker 8: different sauce. Or is it like the Big Max sauce.
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: I'm guessing it's that Big Max sauce.
- 1:20:58Speaker 2: Maybe looks a lot like it.
- 1:20:59Speaker 1: I I think we should just go get one and
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: find out.
- 1:21:01Speaker 4: Yeah, and let's go right over to Gina grad who's
- 1:21:09Speaker 4: got the trending news headlines.
- 1:21:11Speaker 6: Well more American troops are being sent to the Middle
- 1:21:13Speaker 6: East as part of all this drama with Iran. In
- 1:21:15Speaker 6: the most recent update, Iran launched a drone attack on
- 1:21:18Speaker 6: the US embassy in Saudi Arabia and are continuing missile
- 1:21:21Speaker 6: strikes across Israel and other countries along the Gulf of
- 1:21:24Speaker 6: Course too. Meanwhile, Israel still launching their own attacks on
- 1:21:27Speaker 6: Iran's leadership. So far, six US soldiers have been killed
- 1:21:31Speaker 6: in all this. Meanwhile, Americans are being told to be
- 1:21:34Speaker 6: extra careful and follow security alerts around the world. They're
- 1:21:37Speaker 6: also being told to get out and stay away from
- 1:21:40Speaker 6: a long list of countries. Airlines are still canceling and
- 1:21:43Speaker 6: diverting flights, flights in and out of airports like Tel Aviv, Dubai, Doha.
- 1:21:48Speaker 6: They've all been suspended.
- 1:21:49Speaker 4: Yeah, Mesisa Emirates had suspended all of their flights in
- 1:21:52Speaker 4: and out of Dubai, all of them.
- 1:21:54Speaker 2: That's a ton of flight.
- 1:21:55Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, it's a lot.
- 1:21:57Speaker 1: I mean, god, we got our.
- 1:21:58Speaker 4: Trip in right, I know.
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: True.
- 1:22:01Speaker 6: British Airways has canceled service to tell avivn Bahrain until Wednesday.
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: It's a mess. And just to clear up a couple
- 1:22:06Speaker 1: of things, there was a rumor going around that Quentin
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: Tarantino was killed in a missile strike in Israel because
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: he lives there part time with his wife and two sons.
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: That's not true.
- 1:22:14Speaker 6: People were also worried that Lindsay Lohan, who lives in
- 1:22:17Speaker 6: Dubai with her husband and son, were hurt. They're fine too, though,
- 1:22:21Speaker 6: so internet sleuths just relaxed every Yeah.
- 1:22:29Speaker 7: There you go and her husband.
- 1:22:31Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:22:32Speaker 9: Well.
- 1:22:32Speaker 6: The House Oversight Committee released videos yesterday of last week's
- 1:22:36Speaker 6: closed door deposition of Bill and Haill Lori Clinton and
- 1:22:38Speaker 6: their ties to Jeffrey Epstein. The Clinton's were questioned separately,
- 1:22:42Speaker 6: and the former president said that he never witnessed Epstein
- 1:22:45Speaker 6: do anything with younger girls or younger women, and he
- 1:22:48Speaker 6: never had sexual contact with anyone that he was introduced
- 1:22:52Speaker 6: to by Epstein.
- 1:22:54Speaker 5: Will I don't know if you saw some of the video.
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: He's a charmer man.
- 1:22:57Speaker 5: He was half off and smiling.
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: He's been like that for six years.
- 1:23:01Speaker 5: Hillary.
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: Did you see Hillary's video.
- 1:23:04Speaker 7: Not slamming the table.
- 1:23:06Speaker 4: Yeah, well, let's look, that's that's a defense mechanism, right.
- 1:23:11Speaker 2: Well, Bill is getting angry.
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: I'm walking out. Bill is also asked about President Trump's
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: ties with Epstein. This is interesting.
- 1:23:19Speaker 6: He said that Trump and Epstein's relationship fell apart over
- 1:23:21Speaker 6: a real estate deal and that Epstein stole an employee
- 1:23:24Speaker 6: of Trump's from his Marologue.
- 1:23:25Speaker 1: Resorts, so there was a little beef there.
- 1:23:28Speaker 6: He also went on to defend his wife, Hillary, said
- 1:23:30Speaker 6: that her testifying was simply not right because she.
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: Had nothing to do with all this, Thank you.
- 1:23:36Speaker 6: Meanwhile, Hillary gave everyone the run around. She denied knowing
- 1:23:40Speaker 6: Epstein personally. She threatened to walk out after a photo
- 1:23:43Speaker 6: of her at the deposition was leaked by Colorado Congressman Bert.
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: I did not have sexual relations with that woman, miss Lewinsky.
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: Just keep replaying it. It still applies.
- 1:24:01Speaker 2: Okay, that was from nineteen ninety eight.
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: Us don't believe in a place called hope. Yeah yeah, Well,
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: Southwest change.
- 1:24:07Speaker 4: Put it put a cigar box.
- 1:24:12Speaker 2: That's not sexual. That's not sex.
- 1:24:16Speaker 1: No, right, exactly, It's like an argent. Depends on what
- 1:24:20Speaker 1: your definition of is. Well, Southwest changed.
- 1:24:28Speaker 6: Southwest changed its seating policy back in January, and they've
- 1:24:32Speaker 6: been getting ripped for it ever since. People have flocked
- 1:24:35Speaker 6: to social media saying that Southwest needs to go back
- 1:24:37Speaker 6: to open seating, that the new assigned seats are a disaster.
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: We witness it.
- 1:24:43Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah it was. It was a mess.
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: I got the ish into that stick on there too.
- 1:24:48Speaker 4: Yeah, Gina end up having a checker bag twice because
- 1:24:50Speaker 4: people are still here's the thing. People are still used to.
- 1:24:53Speaker 4: They're they're can, they're they're not kid. Is it conflating?
- 1:24:56Speaker 4: So the old system with the new system. Right, So
- 1:24:58Speaker 4: the old system you got on and everybody because they
- 1:25:02Speaker 4: you know, just wanted to get their bag in the
- 1:25:04Speaker 4: overhead compartments. In the minute they would get on board
- 1:25:06Speaker 4: and can you can sit anywhere? They would just throw
- 1:25:08Speaker 4: their bag in the first thing that they saw, not
- 1:25:10Speaker 4: necessarily the ones that were over their seat or around
- 1:25:12Speaker 4: their seat. They would just even if you were going
- 1:25:14Speaker 4: to the back and you would put just put that
- 1:25:16Speaker 4: bag anywhere you can find. But now that there's assign
- 1:25:18Speaker 4: seats on Southwest, people are still doing that, and so
- 1:25:22Speaker 4: you have, like say the people in row nine, but
- 1:25:25Speaker 4: there's no space above nine, and like only maybe one
- 1:25:28Speaker 4: or two people in the entire row eight, nine or
- 1:25:31Speaker 4: ten have their bags there, but they're all filled up. Right,
- 1:25:33Speaker 4: So now even if you're in that area, now you
- 1:25:35Speaker 4: got to go further back put your bag back there,
- 1:25:37Speaker 4: and then when everybody is deplaning, you have to like
- 1:25:41Speaker 4: kind of snake your way back.
- 1:25:42Speaker 1: Makes no sense.
- 1:25:43Speaker 2: It was a disaster.
- 1:25:44Speaker 4: They go, well, everybody, these are growing pains, Like every
- 1:25:46Speaker 4: other airline does this.
- 1:25:47Speaker 2: Yeah, not the policy's fault.
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: Yeah, how's it exactly?
- 1:25:52Speaker 6: Yeah, Well, Southwest they've heard you guys, they've heard all
- 1:25:55Speaker 6: of us, and they're announcing some changes. First, they're quote
- 1:25:59Speaker 6: refining how boarding groups are structured. And maybe you know
- 1:26:02Speaker 6: Greg doesn't like those little kindergarten lines in order to
- 1:26:05Speaker 6: improve overhead bin access near assigned seats. On top of that,
- 1:26:09Speaker 6: they're tweaking their boarding group logic to reward loyalty and
- 1:26:12Speaker 6: higher fare passengers with a more consistent bin experience.
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: Okay, so we'll see if that gets.
- 1:26:17Speaker 2: You could do about nothing. It's not a problem. It's
- 1:26:19Speaker 2: the people. Yeah, exactly, Just be honest and say stop
- 1:26:22Speaker 2: acting like children.
- 1:26:23Speaker 4: Now though I did see I did see an article
- 1:26:26Speaker 4: how they said since they've gone to the assigned seating
- 1:26:29Speaker 4: on Southwest, their number of wheelchair requests are way out
- 1:26:34Speaker 4: what they wheelchairs. That was that was part of the problem.
- 1:26:43Speaker 4: That was part of the problem. Yeah, so there were
- 1:26:45Speaker 4: I just saw the article yesterday. I mean, like dramatically different.
- 1:26:49Speaker 1: What do they call those miracle flights? Yeah, when you
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: get wheeled on and walk off.
- 1:26:53Speaker 6: Some magical is happening at Ago. And a little update
- 1:26:58Speaker 6: of this never ending Worn Brothers purchase. If and when
- 1:27:01Speaker 6: Paramount Skuidance buys Warner Brothers Discovery, you can expect Paramount
- 1:27:05Speaker 6: Plus and HBO Max to merge into one streaming service.
- 1:27:09Speaker 6: The move will give them more than two hundred million
- 1:27:12Speaker 6: direct to consumer subscribers, and Paramount CEO David Ellison says
- 1:27:16Speaker 6: that HBO will continue to quote operate with independence, so
- 1:27:20Speaker 6: we'll see how that works.
- 1:27:20Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:27:21Speaker 4: So does that mean that because I have both, I
- 1:27:23Speaker 4: have HBO Plus and I have Paramount Plus? Right, so
- 1:27:27Speaker 4: do I get both now for one price?
- 1:27:28Speaker 2: Oh?
- 1:27:29Speaker 1: I highly doubt it. Yeah, we'll see.
- 1:27:32Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean like that in that case. Fine, otherwise,
- 1:27:35Speaker 4: still don't care about this story.
- 1:27:37Speaker 1: Yeah, there's so.
- 1:27:37Speaker 2: Much there's so much time. I don't write any of it.
- 1:27:40Speaker 4: There's so much time being spent talking about this deal.
- 1:27:42Speaker 4: And I mean it's a it's a.
- 1:27:44Speaker 5: Do we change the name parable or paraboo parable?
- 1:27:48Speaker 1: Yeah, we'll see.
- 1:27:49Speaker 6: Well, finally, daylight savings time starts this set Sunday everyone,
- 1:27:55Speaker 6: I know, sorry, daylight saving driver license. I'll never get
- 1:27:59Speaker 6: that right. And that's when you set your clocks forward
- 1:28:02Speaker 6: an hour. This is the time change where we lose
- 1:28:05Speaker 6: an hour. But you know who finally decided to pull
- 1:28:07Speaker 6: the plug on all this nonsense, reports say the Province
- 1:28:11Speaker 6: of British Columbia where Vancouver is says they're springing forward
- 1:28:14Speaker 6: one more time and after that it's permanent. So just
- 1:28:18Speaker 6: whatever time it is that's the time, absolutely, and I
- 1:28:20Speaker 6: think this is so smart. Governor of Government officials say
- 1:28:23Speaker 6: it's been a long time coming, and that changing the
- 1:28:26Speaker 6: clocks twice a year causes a bunch of problems, including
- 1:28:29Speaker 6: more car crashes on the road, which we always hear about.
- 1:28:31Speaker 6: And since British Columbia is on the west, well it's
- 1:28:34Speaker 6: because people get.
- 1:28:38Speaker 1: But here's the thing.
- 1:28:39Speaker 6: Since British Columbia's on the west coast of Canada, they're
- 1:28:41Speaker 6: hoping that Washington, Oregon and California will follow along. So
- 1:28:45Speaker 6: we'll see if we just you know, everyone just kind
- 1:28:47Speaker 6: of sets it and forgets it, like Ron Peel And
- 1:28:50Speaker 6: that's what's going on.
- 1:28:50Speaker 1: Woodie.
- 1:28:51Speaker 4: All right, thank you very much, Gina, greg I got it,
- 1:28:53Speaker 4: quick break. March Fatness got this big, you know, dome,
- 1:28:58Speaker 4: giant plate, silver platter, Doiley's. I saw the chef's Sea
- 1:29:02Speaker 4: Bass outfit out in the hallway.
- 1:29:03Speaker 2: We didn't have that.
- 1:29:04Speaker 4: Yeah, So the March Fatness, the first week of March
- 1:29:07Speaker 4: Fatness challenges, they show I'm trying to figure something super
- 1:29:17Speaker 4: fat that I've done recently. You know, we used to
- 1:29:20Speaker 4: have those fat moments, yeah, we all, but those days.
- 1:29:27Speaker 4: Those days aren't over. I just I can't think of
- 1:29:29Speaker 4: one off the top of my head. Has something like
- 1:29:31Speaker 4: super fat.
- 1:29:31Speaker 1: Like a whole bucket of chocolate chip cookies.
- 1:29:33Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, no, nothing. No, I can tell you what
- 1:29:36Speaker 5: I ate yesterday.
- 1:29:37Speaker 4: I did eat Okay, when I was in Vegas, I
- 1:29:39Speaker 4: did eat a package of Hostess cupcakes and dead But
- 1:29:44Speaker 4: where you're gonna sit the package or a box?
- 1:29:49Speaker 1: No, No, it's just like it's at the little hotel
- 1:29:51Speaker 1: gift shop.
- 1:29:52Speaker 4: I got myself something to drink and I'm like, oh,
- 1:29:53Speaker 4: those sound good, and I grabbed those on the way
- 1:29:55Speaker 4: up to the room and then I sat in bed
- 1:29:57Speaker 4: and I ate those cute.
- 1:29:58Speaker 1: Yeah, if it was a box, I give it.
- 1:30:00Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:30:00Speaker 2: Yeah, it's tough. These days. I'm still doing stuff like that,
- 1:30:03Speaker 2: but in smaller quantities. Addiction that my eminem addiction has returned,
- 1:30:09Speaker 2: so I'm still keeping them in business. Which ones peanut?
- 1:30:13Speaker 2: I went from peanut butter to peanut.
- 1:30:16Speaker 1: They've got the honey, they got all these crispy ones.
- 1:30:18Speaker 2: Yeah, just peanut. And then the other day, for the
- 1:30:21Speaker 2: first time in probably two years, I had.
- 1:30:24Speaker 1: Magic shell on my ice.
- 1:30:26Speaker 2: But instead of eating the half gallon, I ate, like,
- 1:30:29Speaker 2: you know, ten bites.
- 1:30:30Speaker 4: Now, Greg Am I to blame for the eminem Yes am,
- 1:30:33Speaker 4: I okay, because I bought I was nice and I
- 1:30:36Speaker 4: bought Greg a package. I always do this, like when
- 1:30:38Speaker 4: we're traveling somewhere, I'll stop at the news stand or whatever,
- 1:30:42Speaker 4: and when Greg's back at the gate waiting, I always
- 1:30:44Speaker 4: come back and I give him a bag of bag
- 1:30:47Speaker 4: of peanut butter eminems because I know how on edge
- 1:30:49Speaker 4: about flying he is.
- 1:30:50Speaker 2: I know it's very thoughtful. Yes, you're you were the
- 1:30:53Speaker 2: Gateway drug.
- 1:30:54Speaker 4: Yeah, because he had an adam for a while, I guess,
- 1:30:56Speaker 4: or I hadn't had that. I didn't realize that probably
- 1:30:58Speaker 4: a year and then that opened panor b. Yeah, gotta
- 1:31:02Speaker 4: get more. Have you done anything super fat menace.
- 1:31:04Speaker 5: I mean, I can describe my day yesterday, which was
- 1:31:07Speaker 5: kind of odd in uh items. So after the show,
- 1:31:12Speaker 5: I ordered some food from downstairs and I grabbed my
- 1:31:15Speaker 5: bag and all it was was two bags of French fries.
- 1:31:18Speaker 2: It was supposed to be that's why you're reading French fries. Yeah,
- 1:31:22Speaker 2: I was wondering where the chicken.
- 1:31:25Speaker 5: Yeah, and I guess, I don't know, maybe I misordered
- 1:31:27Speaker 5: or they got it wrong or whatever. So I ate
- 1:31:30Speaker 5: one bag of French fries and gave the other bag
- 1:31:32Speaker 5: to Vaughn. And then later Vaughan and I went to
- 1:31:35Speaker 5: go see Scream seven and I ate a whole box
- 1:31:39Speaker 5: of the family size or the big box of peanut
- 1:31:42Speaker 5: m and ms. Great, just the movie theater sized ones, yeah,
- 1:31:47Speaker 5: like yeah, and some popcorn. And then after that I
- 1:31:52Speaker 5: went to this other like little event and they were
- 1:31:54Speaker 5: given out free like samples of of like different items.
- 1:31:59Speaker 9: I had some.
- 1:32:00Speaker 5: I had some sliders. I had some Burger sliders. And
- 1:32:04Speaker 5: then I went home and I had a power bar.
- 1:32:08Speaker 5: And and then after that I ate a whole bowl
- 1:32:13Speaker 5: of Craft mac and cheese.
- 1:32:14Speaker 1: Okay, credit, there were no vegetables included in any of the.
- 1:32:22Speaker 2: Mean to ask, do you think one box of Kraft
- 1:32:24Speaker 2: mac and cheese for one sitting is a lot? Or
- 1:32:27Speaker 2: is that kind of normal for one if you're really angry,
- 1:32:30Speaker 2: it's kind of a lot, But I can kind of
- 1:32:32Speaker 2: it borders on a lot.
- 1:32:33Speaker 1: But but that was my dinner.
- 1:32:35Speaker 4: You could easily eat it.
- 1:32:36Speaker 1: I've done, so, Yeah, your dinner was sliders in a
- 1:32:39Speaker 1: power bar, but that was before I got home.
- 1:32:42Speaker 4: It was.
- 1:32:45Speaker 2: All right.
- 1:32:45Speaker 4: So every year for March, the month of March, each
- 1:32:48Speaker 4: week we have a different March Fatness challenge. We've done
- 1:32:52Speaker 4: a number of different things over the years. Sea Bass,
- 1:32:55Speaker 4: Chef Sea Bass, my apologies, yea chef chef Chef Chef
- 1:32:58Speaker 4: Sea Bass is here with this first challenge of March Fatness,
- 1:33:03Speaker 4: which is our challenge is.
- 1:33:04Speaker 1: To save Wendy's.
- 1:33:06Speaker 8: We've talked recently about how number of stores are closing,
- 1:33:09Speaker 8: how they're losing market share. We discussed he just brainstormed
- 1:33:12Speaker 8: in the room, like, what does Wendy's have that no
- 1:33:14Speaker 8: one else has? They needed collab mensas, Yeah, that's a
- 1:33:16Speaker 8: menace hot collab. And I'm kind I pointed out, well,
- 1:33:19Speaker 8: they did the thing with like the Wednesday movie or whatever,
- 1:33:21Speaker 8: and she was in there and they'd done other stuff.
- 1:33:23Speaker 8: So I said, you know what, I'm gonna take it
- 1:33:24Speaker 8: upon ourselves here at the Woody Show to fix this
- 1:33:26Speaker 8: Indie Woodes Show test kitchen. And so we have some
- 1:33:29Speaker 8: Wendy's options that might save Wendy's, starting with a breakfast Frosty.
- 1:33:37Speaker 2: Brakfasts because they've.
- 1:33:38Speaker 1: Done lots of difference. What's that menace breakfast Frosty passes
- 1:33:42Speaker 1: around if you don't mind.
- 1:33:43Speaker 8: Yeah, they done a lot of different things with the
- 1:33:44Speaker 8: swirls the Girl Scout cookies, but they haven't done anything
- 1:33:47Speaker 8: for breakfast. Well, what that is we've talked about that's
- 1:33:50Speaker 8: a Wendy's breakfast potato wedge, Oh's, And we've talked about
- 1:33:54Speaker 8: how much we love their wedges.
- 1:33:55Speaker 1: When they came out with these number of years ago,
- 1:33:56Speaker 1: we were big fans of them. So what I did
- 1:33:58Speaker 1: is I took about it.
- 1:33:59Speaker 8: Equal it's frosty and potato wedges, blended those together in
- 1:34:02Speaker 8: the frosty, and then it's topped with a wedge on top.
- 1:34:05Speaker 8: Because people say, oh, I can dip my fries in
- 1:34:07Speaker 8: my frosty. Yeah, but now you're dipping your potato wedge
- 1:34:09Speaker 8: in your breakfast frosty.
- 1:34:12Speaker 4: So it's a it's a potato wedge inside chocolate frost
- 1:34:17Speaker 4: and then you've got a season.
- 1:34:18Speaker 1: This is this is for someone who's like an actor
- 1:34:21Speaker 1: who has to get fat fast.
- 1:34:23Speaker 6: I blended my French fries into my milkshakes.
- 1:34:29Speaker 1: I don't hate it.
- 1:34:30Speaker 4: Oh here.
- 1:34:32Speaker 2: Extra, Yeah, really, I don't mind.
- 1:34:38Speaker 5: Maybe maybe it was a little bit fresher because I
- 1:34:41Speaker 5: already knew that you were bringing in Wendy's because yesterday
- 1:34:44Speaker 5: before I went home, I went to Target, and I
- 1:34:48Speaker 5: go that looks like seabasses cyber truck and park in
- 1:34:50Speaker 5: front of that Wendy's. Yeah, I do not like So
- 1:34:55Speaker 5: it's been a while, so if it was a little.
- 1:34:57Speaker 1: Bit fresher, it might have been and I think it
- 1:35:01Speaker 1: would actually be better.
- 1:35:02Speaker 2: Like it re froze the fries. It's so often.
- 1:35:07Speaker 6: But taste wise, it's like when you put some flaky
- 1:35:09Speaker 6: salt on a chocolate chip cookie and it just brings
- 1:35:11Speaker 6: out the sweetness.
- 1:35:12Speaker 2: I agree with you. The flavors there. The texture is
- 1:35:14Speaker 2: not good and it accentuates the spices on the fries.
- 1:35:19Speaker 1: After taste is hitting me. I don't hate it.
- 1:35:22Speaker 4: Yeah, text says the fastest thing I've done lately is
- 1:35:25Speaker 4: I ate a whole ten inch nothing bunt cake and
- 1:35:27Speaker 4: one sitting for dinner.
- 1:35:30Speaker 2: That's so much icing, which is great. I love their icing. God,
- 1:35:34Speaker 2: the raspberry cheesecake one or whatever it's.
- 1:35:37Speaker 1: They're all good. Yeah, chocolate one is good. Their lemon
- 1:35:40Speaker 1: joint is.
- 1:35:43Speaker 2: Like make me cry.
- 1:35:44Speaker 8: Good.
- 1:35:44Speaker 4: We give those ten big intense I mean just yeah,
- 1:35:50Speaker 4: solo for dinner. That's just the icing alone.
- 1:35:53Speaker 2: That's so heavy.
- 1:35:54Speaker 8: And I'll give them credit just depending on how they
- 1:35:57Speaker 8: acquired it like it did. Was this left over and
- 1:35:58Speaker 8: it's been sitting around for a couple of or did
- 1:36:00Speaker 8: you go out.
- 1:36:00Speaker 2: And buy this?
- 1:36:02Speaker 4: Nobody had any cake those the entire cake on the
- 1:36:05Speaker 4: way home cake on a random day. March fatness. We're
- 1:36:10Speaker 4: trying to save Wendy's. I don't know on a scale
- 1:36:12Speaker 4: one to ten, I know you love.
- 1:36:15Speaker 7: To give it a six.
- 1:36:16Speaker 3: Really, I don't hate it, I think, but I don't
- 1:36:19Speaker 3: eat fast food a lot, so I think it kind of.
- 1:36:21Speaker 4: Well dipping dipping a hot French fry into the frosting,
- 1:36:25Speaker 4: that's that's okay. But I think you're right about the
- 1:36:27Speaker 4: temperature and.
- 1:36:28Speaker 1: Yeah, texture blending.
- 1:36:29Speaker 2: It was temperature.
- 1:36:30Speaker 5: Yeah one, I give it three with potential.
- 1:36:37Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:36:39Speaker 8: Our next item March fatness and an attempt to save Wendy's.
- 1:36:42Speaker 8: I realized they had something on the menu that they're
- 1:36:45Speaker 8: not even using. We talked recently about how Midwest delicacies
- 1:36:49Speaker 8: included a cinnamon bun topped with chili. Everyone knows that
- 1:36:53Speaker 8: Wendy's has chili, but a lot of people don't realize
- 1:36:56Speaker 8: for breakfast they have sided bun pull apart.
- 1:36:58Speaker 1: Cinems.
- 1:37:01Speaker 2: This is why Wendy's needs to be saved with chili.
- 1:37:06Speaker 1: No, no, I'm telling you, I'll give it to This
- 1:37:09Speaker 1: is how your eat it. When they came out cinnamon
- 1:37:14Speaker 1: roll in the chili.
- 1:37:15Speaker 8: And so they don't serve the chili really at breakfast
- 1:37:18Speaker 8: when they serve the pull apart cinnamon roll thingy.
- 1:37:20Speaker 1: So yeah, this is just modifying and chili you can
- 1:37:22Speaker 1: keep around all day.
- 1:37:22Speaker 2: Who cares?
- 1:37:23Speaker 1: Chili can sit in the hot pot.
- 1:37:24Speaker 2: No, I'm willing.
- 1:37:25Speaker 4: I'm willing to try with the chili. I wanted to
- 1:37:26Speaker 4: get a good bite of the cinnamon roll first without
- 1:37:30Speaker 4: the chili on it.
- 1:37:31Speaker 1: Noise, So it's underneath the cinnamon. Oh that's smothered, covered
- 1:37:34Speaker 1: and slapped. Okay, okay, this is going to be my child.
- 1:37:38Speaker 2: Do you recommend fork or spill.
- 1:37:39Speaker 1: It doesn't matter, just get it in your hole.
- 1:37:45Speaker 2: No, I'm good. The chili will warm it up.
- 1:37:48Speaker 1: Okay. Oh my god, there is a temperature issue here.
- 1:37:51Speaker 1: Yeah it's cold really Yeah, the cinnamon roll brought fresh
- 1:37:56Speaker 1: this morning. Yeah, because this is something actually really love. Well, right,
- 1:38:01Speaker 1: this is a little room temperature. It could be hotter.
- 1:38:03Speaker 2: Why is this good?
- 1:38:04Speaker 6: It's because it's amazing. Everyone in Kansas you get served
- 1:38:07Speaker 6: this at lunch at school.
- 1:38:09Speaker 2: Okay, that is almost life changing, Like I never thought
- 1:38:14Speaker 2: that would be good.
- 1:38:18Speaker 1: This is so validating. People talk about sweet chili before
- 1:38:21Speaker 1: and it works. Yes, a lot of people do put
- 1:38:25Speaker 1: like dark chocolate in their chili and stuff in their baking.
- 1:38:28Speaker 4: My grandma used to make like it's it's it's like
- 1:38:30Speaker 4: a cheap easy chili and gives elbow macaroni right that
- 1:38:34Speaker 4: she would boil up and then she'd make this chili
- 1:38:36Speaker 4: with like a can of tomato paste, uh, tomato soup beans,
- 1:38:42Speaker 4: one can of like red red bean.
- 1:38:48Speaker 6: Literally, you get your tray at school and this is
- 1:38:50Speaker 6: what's on it, A bunch of it's actually, yeah, it's
- 1:38:56Speaker 6: and it's the it's the frosting on the cinnabun.
- 1:38:59Speaker 1: Okay, you know you were right. I'm so right.
- 1:39:02Speaker 5: Careful Wendy, if you're listening.
- 1:39:05Speaker 2: This could save Wendy's.
- 1:39:06Speaker 6: Yeah, don't buy chili Kansas style m because people will
- 1:39:10Speaker 6: get it even just out of curiosity.
- 1:39:12Speaker 1: Let me have a bike, Greg that made it thout.
- 1:39:15Speaker 2: I was going to give it a nine. That makes
- 1:39:18Speaker 2: with the heat, that actual heating surprisingly fantastic.
- 1:39:23Speaker 4: You ever thought the smell of the one these chili
- 1:39:26Speaker 4: is filling the room and I like that.
- 1:39:28Speaker 1: Wow, smells like a great school cafeteria.
- 1:39:31Speaker 2: You know, you should have told us that was good.
- 1:39:32Speaker 1: I know, I wish I would have mentioned that. Is
- 1:39:34Speaker 1: it like more accurate now that it's it's warm up? Yeah,
- 1:39:38Speaker 1: that's great.
- 1:39:42Speaker 4: Why don't I feel like Morgan would just eat anything
- 1:39:43Speaker 4: over there? Food?
- 1:39:45Speaker 1: Fish? Yeah, I'm not eating much.
- 1:39:48Speaker 7: You got a bulk spinach and turkey you talked about.
- 1:39:51Speaker 2: No, I don't.
- 1:39:52Speaker 7: This is so good the whole thing.
- 1:39:54Speaker 2: Did you try it?
- 1:39:55Speaker 9: And I did?
- 1:39:56Speaker 12: Yeah?
- 1:39:56Speaker 2: I like it.
- 1:39:57Speaker 1: I think the flavors really work well together.
- 1:39:59Speaker 10: But there is a heat temperature things well heat around.
- 1:40:05Speaker 1: We can't have warm desert.
- 1:40:05Speaker 2: What are we talking? She's about the pooper self.
- 1:40:10Speaker 1: Yeah, that's ok. I put beans on top of it.
- 1:40:13Speaker 1: It's not typically dessert. Now running to the bathroom.
- 1:40:16Speaker 2: So do you think Wendy's would be bold enough to
- 1:40:18Speaker 2: do this on the menu?
- 1:40:19Speaker 8: It would be regional and again it's it would work,
- 1:40:22Speaker 8: But there's they can't they can say, hey, there's a
- 1:40:24Speaker 8: precedent for this.
- 1:40:25Speaker 1: It's like everybody started having Nashville Hot chicken.
- 1:40:27Speaker 4: Every textas came in, making my mouth water with the
- 1:40:30Speaker 4: chili in the cinnamon role.
- 1:40:33Speaker 2: I was not a believer.
- 1:40:34Speaker 9: I was.
- 1:40:36Speaker 5: Good places do regional stuff, just like go all out,
- 1:40:40Speaker 5: you know, because sometimes they put it in a whack
- 1:40:41Speaker 5: ass region.
- 1:40:43Speaker 1: Yeah, and the people don't even really know there, or
- 1:40:47Speaker 1: when they're putting.
- 1:40:47Speaker 2: In a whack ass region and they don't know, or
- 1:40:51Speaker 2: when they have something that's unmistakably awesome and they only
- 1:40:54Speaker 2: test it in certain places like that sounds good, everybody
- 1:40:57Speaker 2: would want. Do we have another item? Yes?
- 1:41:00Speaker 8: We do?
- 1:41:01Speaker 2: Okay, Wow, it's not going to get better than.
- 1:41:03Speaker 4: That March fatness. We are trying to save Wendy's.
- 1:41:06Speaker 1: And Greg, you're right, it's not gonna get better than that.
- 1:41:09Speaker 2: Again.
- 1:41:09Speaker 8: Another Wendy's combo that I saw they already had on
- 1:41:11Speaker 8: their menu. They have when we talked.
- 1:41:13Speaker 1: About this, baked potatoes love.
- 1:41:15Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:41:15Speaker 9: Right.
- 1:41:16Speaker 8: I never buy these when I go to Wendy's because
- 1:41:17Speaker 8: I don't want to deal with porks and spoons blah.
- 1:41:19Speaker 1: Blah bah blah bla blah blah.
- 1:41:20Speaker 8: But I thought, well, I already have a spoon for
- 1:41:24Speaker 8: the Wendy's frosty, right and the chili cinnamon roll right,
- 1:41:28Speaker 8: So what if the chili cinnamon roll concept work with
- 1:41:30Speaker 8: their chili cheese baked potato and their frosty.
- 1:41:32Speaker 1: Oh no, he's ruining ou. He just dumped the rosty
- 1:41:36Speaker 1: over the test kitchen stuff.
- 1:41:38Speaker 2: How dare you so frosty over the baked baked chili
- 1:41:41Speaker 2: cheesebked potatoes. Por because they.
- 1:41:42Speaker 4: Pork baked potato, they have no problem pouring the chili
- 1:41:47Speaker 4: at the top of the baked potato.
- 1:41:50Speaker 5: I thought you were loving this, but I get it.
- 1:41:53Speaker 8: Major temperature is sure, wealthy Maybe well we do hot
- 1:41:56Speaker 8: apple pie with cold ice cream or cold cheese or
- 1:41:58Speaker 8: whoever is right.
- 1:42:00Speaker 2: The potato is still warm on a ConA.
- 1:42:03Speaker 4: It was, is everybody?
- 1:42:06Speaker 2: That's the dome thingy?
- 1:42:07Speaker 4: Yes, thank you?
- 1:42:09Speaker 2: Okay, so the.
- 1:42:10Speaker 1: Potato actually a little bit better than the fry situation.
- 1:42:14Speaker 7: Yes, you're right.
- 1:42:14Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:42:15Speaker 1: Wait, so cheese potato potato potato with chocolate.
- 1:42:18Speaker 4: Frosty frosty port on topgiving this is the pretty fat Yeah,
- 1:42:26Speaker 4: it's better than it is better than the fry way. Yeah. Yeah,
- 1:42:32Speaker 4: because the potato wedges in the frosty were too small,
- 1:42:37Speaker 4: like so when you have a bigger chunk of the
- 1:42:39Speaker 4: big potato with all this time, I think it's more
- 1:42:41Speaker 4: it's a better proportion of Yeah, ratio.
- 1:42:45Speaker 1: I'm trying to get the ratio every with cheese and chili.
- 1:42:49Speaker 1: I'll say that's the cheese and the chocolate frosty is
- 1:42:51Speaker 1: not a good comp.
- 1:42:52Speaker 7: No for the frosty with the fries.
- 1:42:56Speaker 3: I think the.
- 1:42:57Speaker 2: Cheese is better than the potato because doesn't cheese Correct
- 1:43:01Speaker 2: me if I'm wrong. It has a good saltiness to it, right, usually,
- 1:43:05Speaker 2: So this gives the chocolate frosty that thing that you like, Gina,
- 1:43:08Speaker 2: that sea salt.
- 1:43:09Speaker 1: Yeah, right with chocolate. Yeah, I think this is better
- 1:43:11Speaker 1: than the frosty and the French fries.
- 1:43:12Speaker 4: Somebody said, you want some of it? Sounds strange, but good.
- 1:43:15Speaker 4: Chop up some hostess ding dongs and mix it in
- 1:43:18Speaker 4: with chili, some sweet and savor.
- 1:43:21Speaker 1: All right, that's no problem. Yeah that makes sense. Okay, Yeah,
- 1:43:26Speaker 1: people dark chocolate and chili.
- 1:43:28Speaker 5: Think you've saved Wendy's with this?
- 1:43:32Speaker 2: Uh the chili.
- 1:43:34Speaker 1: A copy of and you hit oil.
- 1:43:38Speaker 5: Where's Wendy's headquarters?
- 1:43:39Speaker 3: Again?
- 1:43:41Speaker 2: I usually know this.
- 1:43:42Speaker 4: Somebody says, no way that chili cinnamon roll is good.
- 1:43:46Speaker 4: Someone is trolling you. All this is reminiscent And when
- 1:43:48Speaker 4: mister rogers ate cheese and banana, you guys have to
- 1:43:51Speaker 4: be trolling us. There's no way to taste good, try it.
- 1:43:54Speaker 2: That's what I was saying.
- 1:43:55Speaker 1: I was leaning towards the hatering rate of this. But
- 1:43:57Speaker 1: it is Doblin, Ohio is the headquarters.
- 1:44:01Speaker 2: It sounds crazy, thing.
- 1:44:04Speaker 1: Because cinnamon and chili really work together. You can get
- 1:44:07Speaker 1: biscuits and gravy.
- 1:44:08Speaker 4: You can get both items. Well, you can get both
- 1:44:10Speaker 4: items there at the at Wendy's.
- 1:44:12Speaker 8: That's the thing you really not necessarily because a breakfast item.
- 1:44:16Speaker 4: They do sell the chili in the grocery store aisle
- 1:44:18Speaker 4: now Wendy's chill and then and then get your favorite role,
- 1:44:23Speaker 4: get your favorite one like you can get one of
- 1:44:25Speaker 4: them cost coachoins. I'm taking if you if it's just
- 1:44:28Speaker 4: about trying the cinnamon roll with the chili, especially the
- 1:44:31Speaker 4: Wendy's chili is good because it's not like it's not spicy,
- 1:44:35Speaker 4: it's not.
- 1:44:36Speaker 1: It's just a it's a nice mild dip a toe.
- 1:44:40Speaker 6: You don't have to pour the chili on top of
- 1:44:42Speaker 6: the cinnamon roll. Just take a piece of the cinnamon
- 1:44:44Speaker 6: role and dip it in.
- 1:44:45Speaker 4: The It's part of it you talk about like school,
- 1:44:47Speaker 4: the school cafeteria school cafeteria grade chili. Oh yeah, not perfect,
- 1:44:52Speaker 4: not like cowboy chili.
- 1:44:55Speaker 8: Glad you brought that up. It's our next Wendy's items.
- 1:44:57Speaker 8: I'm gonna be dipping my toe in frosty.
- 1:45:00Speaker 5: I'm not trying that.
- 1:45:01Speaker 2: Yeah, trying that? All right, Well, there you go.
